Yeah, didn't quite escape the injuries like we did in the first week. No, we should have seen it coming after week one. It always gets you. Yeah, it'll return to the mean, and it was very mean. So much to talk about today, we got Monday, Monday, we got NFL news, studs, and duds on the show. I'm sure we'll have potentially some injury updates even throughout the episode, but happy to have you with us. Well, quota filled, quota filled in week two, that was last week, last week we were big, big dome. I'm speaking on behalf of big dome. You, yes, please. We were very kind in saying that what the Buffalo bills have done with their stadium, we might accept. But this was a real big week for big. Yes, it was. There's a lot of rain around the country and there was a lot of poor for you. You guys, you guys talk a lot about. Oh, rain doesn't affect anything. And then you spent the whole morning combining about the rain. Well, there was rain and wind. Yeah, there wasn't a lot of there was two of the two of the games. Yeah. Okay. So so is the wind that when the ball hit them in the hands, that's the wind that caused them to drop it. Wait, are you arguing for big dome right now? I'm so confused. Yeah, I'm just saying you say a lot about rain being no big deal. Okay, big dome is officially changing. Rain is a problem. Okay. Rain, rain, go here accepting. Maybe I'm just a little bit or because everyone of the players that I recommended this off season decided to get hurt within five seconds of the season starting. It was a real problem for you. Your nickname, if you're new to the show, you got once upon a time. Once upon a time, you were known as we were past it as the fantasy reaper because you had a knack for getting guys entered. Yeah, if I didn't get you got them injured. If you like, that means that the grim reaper is slowly trailing them and he's going to get. Yes, so let's just recap here your fantasy MVP left right here. Yeah, all of us crutches yesterday, you're three. My guys were days on Stribling out. Lad Maconkey barely survived. Injured barely in and currently he's playing and Caleb Williams got injured out. It's possible that Caleb had the most severe one week injury of all time. Yeah, we're not really sure yet, but it looked like maybe career. It's sure on the field. Tell me one thing. Who do you like right now? I'm not mentioning my players in my team. Well, like I like flowers. Just get a mention on Mike's guy. I like dogs and paid. Kenneth Walker. Do you like Ken Walker, Andy? No comment. I overpower him with Kenneth Walker, Jason. We're good. Okay. Yeah, I mean, we have a powerful statement. No, look, I guess I'm sorry. I mean, the apparently if your number is in the mid teens, you're also in jeopardy. I'm looking at the board here 14, 15, 15, 18. Maybe like I'll pick up my guy in a different. Yeah, obviously it's all tongue and cheek. It sucks that you know, it's just terrible terrible time. By week two, all four of your guys went down to injury, but well, you know, Lad will be back. Lad looks great. Caleb Williams seems like he's going to be back sooner rather than later. TBD. So yeah. And then last week on Friday, there was some drama around the studio. And by drama, I mean our producer screaming his head off for eight to ten hours. Also, Fookland. I know Jeremy and I can look a little bit alike. But I got accused of some things in that video of which I am not in. A lot of people were like, I knew Jason was the one who drops off. He's the potty mouth. I'm not in this video. Yeah, I saw comments, oh, just like Jason to be in the fridge in the background. That wasn't you either. Oh, man, that was our developer. Yeah, we're really true. That's true. He looks totally like a Schneider. Yeah, Schneider, me and you. Me and Schneider are our team name in League of Records is dead ringers. Yeah, because you look like each other. And then yeah, so we, you know, I'm just going to bring something up here. And I'm not saying that I am against it. Because I find it as a form of respect, but basically what happened on Friday for the, the three of you that didn't see the screaming video that went out all over social media. I made a very fine trade, normal trade in our League of Records. In fact, I don't think it's a good trade for me from a value perspective. It's a good trade for me because my team had one weakness tied in. And I traded Kyle Pitt and two picks, a second and fourth round pick. In our, in our key context is needed for the best, but it is the best pick that you can trade a second. You cannot trade a first, but it's a three keeper league. So it's effectively a fifth. So I trade again, it is, but we've, we've seen these trades with the twos and the threes and the forest for years. This is not a weird trade for Tucker craft. But the problem was, is that just the day before, and you can see he's still, he is still, there is heat coming off the top of his head. He is not over it. He is not over it. You might not bite it for long. I know. But what happened was, is the day before, apparently, there had been these internal conversations that nobody's going to trade with Andy and give him a tight end. And, and Paul and Josh said, stay strong. Hashtag down with Andy, which by the way, collusion of which I don't care, because it would have been collusion if we made an agreement to both not trade with you. He was trying to influence it. There's a hashtag. I don't know what a hashtag is. I never said that, you know, there was no agreement like we're not going to trade with you. I'm not actually protesting because, in my opinion, the, the qualifier, the whole league knew what was going on. The qualifier of bad collusion is that an individual team benefits through collusion. This was more like, I don't benefit from all of you making me public enemy. Yeah, let's be clear. The entire league is openly colluding against you because you are a super team. We want you to see me. The Patriots, not Josh. Oh, yeah. Josh is trying to help me. So, yeah, the real issue here was that Josh and his co-manager basically in DMs told Jeremy, stay strong. Do not trade him your tight end. We will not trade him the tight end. We will not trade him is, is back up for Kenneth Walker. And then the next day, they go and do it. Yeah, he was at the front of the line screaming. I mean, he's like Braveheart. He's like, hold, yeah, hold. And then he runs away and then he homers into the bushes as all the soldiers are everywhere. You guys stay here. So, so calories on the way. So, that's the context is there were people out there that were like, what is wrong with this trade? Nothing. If this trade was between two other managers in the league, nobody bats an eye or even cares. Probably praises Josh for the value it got. Yeah. It was the fact that there had been this, like Owl has, he has Tramigbright and Kittle. So, I obviously am trying to go for his extra tight end and he's just slamming the reject button over and over and over. And then the next day, his, and it didn't help the Tucker crafts on his hometown team and he loves him. But that's what happened. So, that's the context for it. It wasn't that bad of a trade. They just want me to lose real bad. Yeah, you want to know why? Because again, an hourly really good score is 130, 135. You should win. You scored 175 last week. You are currently at 179 with a player left and with Tucker craft doing nothing. So, your team is stupid. All right, we, uh, we once again put out the call for the Monday, Monday. It was, I mean, I went through him this morning, 99.99% negative. It was a hatred. It was a terrible week. I mean, we were injuries, disappointments. Rain, bad football, not a lot of touchdowns. We were going into half time of the, the early slate. And it was like, who scored? There was, uh, there was Derek Henry. Yeah, Travion Henderson. It was like, nobody. Yeah. And, and, and then again, a bunch of the negative ones were about injuries, which I avoided. But it's, you know, it was a bad day for a lot of people. The nice thing is this maybe your opponent also had a bad day. So let's jump into it. Let's get sophisticated and we'll start with some good, like boss Allen. Ooh, I got him. Yeah, and you had CD Lion. I think an appearance this week about the Boston TD party. I like that one. Yeah, that's a good one. James cooking as well. Yeah, we also had some big This week Chris Oh Suave. Yes, he was awesome. And the American Nijigba warrior. That's right. And my dude Travion Wonderson. Yes, Ammon Raw St. Crown and then Devante Suave. He was awesome this week. They weren't all good. No Drake Mayday. Yeah, there we got to have some conversations here. No, that would be on nine if they lose all those games. I mean that is insane that Mike McDaniel. Oh, man The maybe it was his OC who's now in Minnesota like if you want to be in the massive panic category Chargers are number one on that board. But you have other teams that are joining the Falcons look as abysmal as you can look Tampa Bay. They've continued their complete. I'd be more worried. I'll pile at the end of the year as Tampa then Atlanta whose Atlanta has not had a qualified Quarterback yet. No, I agree. No, first carry of the game by Cooper Rush fumbles the ball. I mean, just also have great teams That have stuff to worry, but I think the Lions have looked, you know, they almost lost week one You could argue they should have lost week one. They've lost some people on defense and if you look at the record, you know Pretty and post Ben Johnson leaving that team. It's You know that you lose a great mind. It's gonna hurt you. You see all the blob fish second and ten runs this past week He loves it. We do live in a highly criticized world here. It wasn't a great day for either of the Noter Dame running backs that came into the into the league to play each other. It was a great day for manual Wilson It was JK Dobbins exited with an injury Yeah, no hamstring. He said it's just a little he said he was gonna play 17 in this one counts Yes, it does so if he gets back you for week three, he can still be a man of his work But I will say that it gave opportunity for Jonah Coleman who looked great Uh, Jonas probably the number one six stole uh, you know the Broncos won the game. He got a touchdown Yeah, I think I think we got waiver show tomorrow We'll work through all the rankings. I think Jonah Coleman's near the top But I think Josh Downs is too sure with the Alec Pierce injury and the fact that Keenan looks Absolutely. Yeah, Dunzo like Josh Downs got a huge target share. I you know Pierce's Pierce is gonna be out for a while. I mean he left with an ankle foot injury X-rays were negative But he left on crutches, but it is surgically repaired in it's a nightmare and and he just got paid This one sucks too. I mean, there's been a bunch of them John them Brooks re aggravated his groin injury Went to the medical tent was getting consoled by Chuba Hubbard Yeah, I mean for a guy with the injury history that he has yikes. - Jaden Daniels, yeah. - Left with the dislocated left elbow. - It looked like there's the same exact thing. - I don't know how he doesn't have a race on. I just don't. Yeah, from what I understand, they said this on the broadcast, he doesn't have a ligament in that elbow anymore. So I don't-- - It can just flop around. - Well, I mean, or whatever happened with the injury and the surgery or whatever that happened, I don't know, it's like sometimes people live without an ACL, like Papa Josh back there, I don't know. Maybe I didn't get the surgery. And I don't-- - Well, then where'd it go? - I don't know. - It just exploded. - Maybe I misheard. Okay, if he didn't have surgery, I don't think the ligament disappeared, but that's what somebody said. And clearly, this thing can flop out of place. Anytime he puts his left hand on the ground, how are you not in a brace? I don't know. It's a non-throwing elbow and we don't know how long the prognosis will be. - It's a bummer, he was playing very well. - We'll get more news soon, but I would expect he's going to miss a month at least. - Yeah, it seems like it. - JK Dobbins, we talked about Rico turf or a toe injury. Sorry, it could be turf toe. We're turning the second half. Jaden Reed, this was scary. Left on a stretcher, neck injury, compression impact to the top of the head. Did have feeling in his extremities. Very scary one, probably gonna miss time in concussion protocol, I would guess, at least a couple of weeks, but don't know yet. So, the Marcus Robinson, high ankle sprain, he's out for a while for the 49ers. They're gonna have to sign somebody, 'cause Mike Evans, exited with the hip injury as well. Again, doesn't appear to be serious, just like everything they've said about every injuries had all of season so far. - I will say that they were trouncing them by the time he left. So I can't imagine, like if he had a non-serious injury, he would probably not come back and he didn't. So there is a chance that this actually is not serious. And by the way, he does have, this would be Jayden Daniel's left arm. He does have a ligament. They're just all completely torn and unrepaired. So that's what it was, 'cause he had the, basically the Tommy John injury in the left elbow, but they chose not to do surgery. It's not his throwing arm, but structurally, seems like a problem if those things are meant to be, you know. - Yeah, not doctors. - Seems like he should have had the surgery, perhaps. - Caleb Douglas walking boot, it's offense rookie. There's an offense that doesn't look good, and a schedule that looks even worse. - Yeah, they're gonna be really up there for the number one pick. - I mean, I believe they play, oh yeah, Kansas City this week, and then Minnesota, and then Cincinnati before the buy. - Who, if you haven't been paying attention, Cincinnati's defense looks fantastic. - Yeah, we're looking at his defense. - He might look better now. - Really does look like they're a regular NFL defense that can shut someone down, which we haven't seen that in a minute. - So Jaden's prognosis is can rehab for a few weeks and return with the brace for the rest of the year, or you can have surgery in the off season, or you can have surgery now in the season's over. - Damn, man. - So. - I'm sorry, commanders fans. It's not going well, no. Dallas got it right in the injury, right after he was performing well. I, I'll say, like if, if they call me this time and God or miss this time, they were real close to losing that game to the Titans. - They should have. They looked so bad. Josh Allen and Jared Goff, one and two. Dac Mahomes and Purdy finishing it out. Purdy was one intentional grounding throw. I think from the first 100 perfect QBR in the history of the NFL. That's how efficient his game was. I think it was 15 for 16. And absolutely just carved him up. It seemed nonchalant, but look out. Next week for Brock Purdy. Steaders on the Cardinals. - Oh man. - Purdy's really good. And he got to play the Dolphins whose defense is as good as their offense. - Yeah. Well look, Purdy was the start of the week. Dac was the start of the week. Nice to see those guys in the top five. You know who looked like maybe behind Purdy, maybe the second best quarterback of the week. - Dude. - Yeah. - We're on the Sunday, at least. Price, young look. - Yes. - He was sizzling. - Price. - And he looked like he was having a good time. - This is unbelievable. - This would be so good for fantasy if we can have, you know, a young quarterback that was supposed to be great, be good. I mean, two weeks in, you can't ask for more than he did. I know that both matchups were easy-ish. You know, he hasn't faced a gauntlet schedule yet. The first two weeks, you'd hope that he could do what he did, but he did. And so that's great for Coker for Ted McMillan. And of course, the walrus. - Yeah, you know. - You can even have that. - We do somewhere. - Somewhere. (upbeat music) - But they're pass rate over expectations like they're neutral pass rate. It's very high right now. The Panthers and Bryce Chung. - Best two game. - I didn't think it could be done, but this is incredible. - Incredible. - Uncrustible. This is incredible. Tyler Shock got it done, 252. - Man. - Had a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown. Leeds the NFL and passing yardage with Bryce Young just behind. - Yeah, he does. - Gets the Raiders and the Falcons for the next two weeks, which is great. And then maybe. - Maybe. - Maybe you get Jordan Tyson back. - But Bailey has looked good. Joanne Johnson has looked good. O'Lava is a machine. So this is a very exciting offense. And, you know, he rushed the ball nine times. So for fantasy football, and they won on the road. This is a team that was like a play, one place. From being two and o on the road against the Lions, on the road against the Ravens. - With one of the worst halves of football, I've ever seen a quarterback play. - Yeah, right now the game goes on and Shock has gotten better over the back half of these games. They were down 17, six at one point. Baltimore, I thought like the Saints are lucky. They caught Baltimore with the diminished weaponry. But they also played well. - They did the thing that I don't understand it, but it happened so much over the last 10 years, where O'Lava said the team that has Derek Henry loses a game that they were winning because they stopped giving him the ball. It was like he was dominating them. And then they gave him like five carries in the second half. And so lo and behold, it was worse. - Yeah, a shout out for a competent performance by Cam War. This week, current cousins was great. He was on the fantasy face off on Friday. And then Drew Locke also, credit where credit is due, really just executed the offense to perfection. - It was. - It was five carries for Derek Henry in the second half. - That's not okay. - Now what did you do when he was down? He was so good in the first. - I mean, I guess that game got tied up pretty quick, but still, it was just, it was too much on the March shoulders. Well, the top five running back scores of the week were familiar names. It was all the big boys. Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker with no touchdowns. CMC with two of them, James Cook with one, and then Jameer Gibbs with one, big boys doing the work. I mean, Kenneth Walker right now, Mike, you want to wax poetic for a second? I mean, it's just been. - He is exactly who I thought he was. We have a tweet from next gen stats. Kenneth Walker, the third forced. 15 missed tackles in week two, exceeding his career high of 14 that he set in week one. Walker has forced 14 or more missed tackles three times since 2024. The entire rest of the NFL has done so twice. - You might want to start playing people against the Colts. The Colts have given up. I believe the most yards through two games to start a season ever. It's not good. - But also, I mean. - They played Henry in Walker, so it's. - Yeah, tough matchups, but the utilization of Walker - Ten targets. - Incredible. Ten targets. It reminds me very much of what we saw last year from Christian McCaffrey, where when you can be the second highest score on a week and not get a touchdown. - Yeah. - How? - Oh, and he had three chances on the goal line. - How do you have bad game, dude? Feels impossible. It's injury or he's awesome. - Yeah, let me ask you this question right now, because he got into the in zone. Rashe rice did, but the targets, the utilization, it's been different. By the way, Travis Kelsa looks slimmer and faster than he looked last year. Would you trade Rashi rice away on the high of the touchdown this week? All right, we would have traded him away on the high last week. Yeah, yeah, probably he did he going to touch on this week? I think his touchdown was week one. This week he was four for 83. Oh, yeah, they've got more yards. Oh, my bad. I don't think you have to force him away. But six targets this week too, but I'm willing to, I'm willing to move on. He also had, didn't he have like a complete garbage play? Wasn't it like right before the half or something where he got? There was some play. Yes. Oh, yeah, I'm Mary where it was a complete throw away like 30 yards for free for nothing. Yeah, there was like instead of the Hail Mary, they just threw it underneath and let him run for 30, 40 yards. Let's talk about him. I'm already in Hampton. 23 carries 94 yards, a rushing touchdown, a fumble, another fumble, and this fumble cost him the game. He leads all running backs and yards after contact. We watched this game, we watched them all, but we watched this game closely. And like when he gets moving down hill, he breaks through people. Here's the wild thing about Hampton. One of the differentiators between him and H&M to me was, hey, you, you want running backs on a good team. I'm not sure that that's what he is going to be. Yeah, that was part of the next seven weeks is a gauntlet. So I liked what I saw, but I don't like the fact that this team can't move the football. He looked really, really good. He had a fantastic fantasy output. Yeah, they used him in the screen game. And I mean, they can't ask for him to do much more other than not fumble, but it will. It's funny to think like maybe he's on a bad team. Yeah, it's, it's, I think the actual player, the metrics look good, but the team looks bad. Derek Henry, you're not getting targets for Hampton. I mean, obviously, first battle hall of Famer, all time, but he does not have it. - That team is going to have, Danny T. J. Watt to play more positions than one. - Carnell Tate is-- - 'Cause they did win the game. - Yeah, yeah. - Right? - No. - Oh, that was last week. - Oh, that was against Atlanta. - That was against Atlanta. - That was last week against the worst offense. - Yes. - The only team they could beat was the team that was somehow worse. Carnell Tate is three for 27 in this game. It has not gotten going for Carnell Tate. And I don't know if it can get going. I hope so. He did lead the team in target share. I believe it was 29%. - Okay. - Yeah, you're hoping for brighter days. Cam Ward had a okay fantasy output. He did get two rushing touchdowns. One was on a super short field. The passing work still to me is leaving a lot to be desired. But I mean, some signs, some-- (laughing) Like the flatline started beeping, you know? - I did it. - I'm saying for Ward. - I think maybe the crash card is in the other room and there's still grabbing it. - But it was flatline and I heard a beep. - You heard a beep. - I heard a beep. - You hoped you might have heard it up there. - You go beep. You go what? Did he move? - I didn't see him move. - Okay. - Did he move? I heard a beep. - I mean, I guess we'll give you that. Do we have a beep here? The conversation, I think the number one conversation people want to have, unfortunately, is this guy. It is Colston Loveland. Three targets, one for three. Through two weeks he has one catch. His target share, remember we were complaining about Burden and Adunzay? - Yeah. - Just a second ago it seems like. - Yeah. - Oh, they're doing great. - Burden's target share is 21%. Rome is 13. Colston Loveland is at 9%. And this. - Loveland is. - This is a real. - It's a complete disaster. - You can't? - I don't even, I don't know what you do with this. - You have to bench him and look for someone else while Caleb is gone. - Oh, yeah. - I think you're not, you're not believing the secret agent man? - I'm the secret agent man. - I feel like Mike, you were gonna have to do one of the grossest things that you could possibly do, which is to play Dalton Schultz regular. - Dude, in my head. - Over Colston Loveland. - In my head, I was like, what'd you play Dalton Schultz? - Of course, of course. - And I couldn't say that loud, so I'm glad to Andy did. - I mean, like this week coming up. - 'Cause it's true. - You have to, you have to wait. I mean, at least with Tucker Krav, right? He's in this section. Dude's coming back from a catastrophic knee injury for the first two weeks of the year. And one of these games, that's the first time a team is won with under 100, like one, that Green Bay game, they won by double digits. But they were under 200 passing yards, like there's some, they were, oh no, they win by that one by a field goal. Kyle, find me that number because the improbability of Green Bay winning that football game was historical performance-wise. So, but Loveland, I mean, you can't trade him for anything close to the value you spent on him in the draft. I don't think you should. Here it is. The Packers are the first team since 1941 to win a game with less than 200 total yards. That's what it was, total yards. 100 plus penalty yards and a negative turnover margin. And they managed to win that game against the Jets. - Gross. - Which I think the win started right when the head coach of the Jets, Aaron Glyn decided to do another sideline dance of sorts. The Packers look legitimately bad so far, and it really seems like they need Josh Jacobs, bad. - We'll see. - So, but back to Loveland, it is a hold. It is two weeks, but now you have the injury to Caleb that compounds they like, just go back to the well. You haven't had the big play. You haven't had the touchdown. Look, we just said it. Tyler Warren has like very few yards on the season, but he's got two touchdowns to kind of, you know, let you get through to where he can start putting better yardage. Do you think Caleb Williams saves the Packers, by the way, Jason? Or Caleb Johnson? - Caleb Johnson. I don't think that they're going to give him enough work. He did look like their best running man. - He did. - Which I, when they got around the goal line, I was like, if Caleb Johnson gets this touchdown, it's so great. Unfortunately, it was March on Lloyd. I, you know, they talked about he's earned more. They're going to get him more work, but I do expect news. Hopefully this week on Josh Jacobs, seems like it'll be four to six games. And then, so I don't see it. Caleb Johnson's not going to be rescuing this team. Josh Jacobs is going to be rescuing this team. And Michael Parsons. Yeah, Parsons, the big one. - Yeah, the targets and utilization for Loveland are just scary right now. - Yeah, you have against Philly this week with a backup quarterback. I don't imagine you could start Loveland with any kind of confidence. There'll be waiver tight ends. - I mean, if you don't believe. - And you want to trade. - Trade is fine, but there's no world where you can cut Colson Love. - Like, no, but what is that trade? Like, who, would you trade him? I'm gonna say it. Oh gosh. - Okay. - To trade him for Travis Kelsey. - I don't know. - No, I still think that there's, oh, it's Kelsey's roster later in there. I trade him for Tyler Warren. - No one's doing that. - Yeah, no one's doing that. That's true. (laughing) (laughing) - I'd go for Jamar Chase. - Yeah, no, I would definitely try to. - I don't, I think. - I think, would you trade him for George Kettle? - Yeah. - Yeah. - So, I mean, the Kelsey thing's interesting 'cause the way this offense looks right now, he's not going to be coming off the field. - The concern with Travis Kelsey is the age and like. - Wearing down versus going, getting there. - Yeah, Colson Love One will get better over the course of the season. - We just, now the questions are fair of how good this Colson Love One actually get. 'Cause, do we see the greatness of the playoff run or. - It's still just two weeks. - Or is it just completely broken? - Yeah, I don't know. It's been so weird. It's not like this offense is bad for two weeks. The offense was incredible in one week, and he just wasn't involved. Kyle Pett's three targets, one for 15. So, the big controversial trade, guys. Tucker Krav Kyle Pett's I really upgraded. I went from one for 15 to two for 15 in a fumble. - Yeah, that's dumb. That's dumb. You're playing for the championship weeks, the playoff, which I mean, Tucker Krav was a guy that was off my board, simply because I didn't want the slow start that we assumed was coming. - Did you see his nap count this past week? - No. - I didn't know this. - Until just now, week 166%. - Uh-huh. - 98. - Get out of here. - 98. - Wait, really? - Yeah, 98% of the snaps on week two? - Yeah. - Wow, that, that. - They had fewer than 200 total yards. That team was, it was a broken week. They will, they did start the year, road road. They get to come home for three out of the next four, and boy oh boy, they get to play it land next week. We'll see what happens there. Tomorrow, O'Avers episode, and it's gonna be an important one. There are bigger names than last week. There are more injuries than last week, And there are.
