57m 52s
The transcription covers a diverse range of topics, from health and wellness to career development and fantasy football. A key health product, Groons, is highlighted for its nutrient-dense, easy-to-consume gummy formula that supports energy, gut health, and immunity—especially beneficial during calorie deficits. The show also promotes Year Up United’s job training program, which enables individuals with high school diplomas to gain skills, internships, and career support without a bachelor’s degree. In the fantasy football segment, hosts discuss player matchups, trade strategies, and league dynamics, including a humorous debate over whether a head-to-head playoff format is original or copied. Personal anecdotes about travel, friendship, and life challenges add authenticity, while health and lifestyle products like Z Biotics and Cash App are promoted for their practical benefits. The content also features real-world advice, such as Airbnb hosting for extra income and using platforms like Whatnot for shopping, reinforcing a focus on practical, everyday solutions. Overall, the narrative blends personal stories with practical recommendations across health, finance, and career, offering valuable insights to a broad audience.
I have a good friend who's almost done with his GLP-1 journey, and one major lesson he
learned is that when you're in a calorie deficit, nutrients per calorie matter more than anything.
Why struggle with digestion or feeling sluggish when you can make life simple?
That's where Groons comes in.
Groons delivers a convenient, comprehensive formula in one delicious daily pack of gummy
bears.
And this isn't a multivitamin, a greens gummy, or a prebiotic.
It's all of those things, and then some, at a fraction of the price.
And bonus, my friend says they taste great, and since taking them, I can see that his
energy is up.
He says his gut health feels on track thanks to six grams of prebiotic fiber, and the ingredients
are amazing for supporting beauty, immunity, and hair strength.
So if weight loss is the goal, it's all about nutrients per calorie, and Groons has everything
needed to help.

This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
What a play!
Can you believe this?
It's a no-win game.
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
Off to the races!
And he stays on his feet!
It's just going to go the distance!
Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
It's mailbag time!
Jamie's already beat red and cracking up.
You know it's going to be a good show.
What's going on, Jamie?
What's so funny?
I mean, Dan's in the closet.
He can't get back up.
Can we zoom out a little bit?
Can we get a different view?
I don't really know how we would zoom out.
No, he's got to put him by himself.
Not you.
Yeah, yeah.
We can see the rest of the closet.
You know what?
This is great.
For those who don't know, I'm in the lovely, beautiful city of Chicago.
There it is.
There's a little zoomed out.
The lovely, beautiful city of Chicago celebrating love.
My friend's getting married tomorrow.
And is it great in the middle of the season?
Have to uproot and go somewhere?
No.
But I did figure this out.
And. Listen.
I'm staying in an Airbnb with five of our friends.
Six of our friends, actually.
And this was the only spot in the entire Airbnb that had some privacy.
So, instead of making everyone listen to the Fantasy Football Today mailbag,
or you guys on the show and the audience hearing people talking about all sorts of things going on,
I said,
I found myself a little nook and cranny over here.
And I found myself a little spot.
And the audio sounds a little weird to me.
But I think it's a good find for me.
I think this is a good spot.
I mean, I have to hold the mic.
I'll show.
Who knows when that arm will. This arm will get tired.
This left arm already feels tired.
At some point, it'll drop off.
That's tough.
But I appreciate. Listen.
I need my ZBiotics.
Dan did not need to do the show today.
Trooper.
Yeah.
He's sitting in a closet holding a microphone.
It's not the lightest microphone either.
So, I appreciate your dedication.
He doesn't want to miss the bag.
He doesn't want to miss a bag.
I don't ever want to miss the bag.
I just have to ask the level of friendship.
I mean, obviously, it's a very good friend because you flew to Chicago.
Who gets married in football?
Right.
Right.
Right.
Right.
Football season.
Yeah.
Come on.
Trust me.
There's a lot of concern about that on my end.
But I'm here.
I had three hours of plane delays yesterday.
Don't ever fly into O'Hare Airport.
I want to talk about the worst airport in the world.
Here we go.
I mean, you can't find a worse airport.
We're sitting on there taxiing for 70 minutes after.
And they're like, well, there's a long line of planes.
I don't want to hear about the line.
I'm landed.
Get me out of here and get me in the airport.
It's hot in that plane.
All right.
Today on the show. I'm going to Chicago.
We got the fantasy cops back.
We've got your emails at fantasyfootballatcbsi.com.
That's the letter I.
Fantasyfootballatcbsi.com.
We're going to read some questions from the chat to start the show and to end the show.
We've got your Apple podcast questions.
If you want to ask us one there, you got to leave us a five-star review.
Tell people why you like the show.
Then you can ask your question and try to do it by Monday or Tuesday because they take a while to populate.
And not today, but beginning next week, we'll start getting your Spotify comments.
On this show.
All right.
Let's start with the YouTube chat.
And from Butter Reasons.
Half PBR.
Give me two.
Marshawn Lloyd.
Matthew Golden.
Isaiah Likely.
Golden and Likely for me.
Jamie, yeah.
Same.
Oh, Jamie's muted.
Jamie, you're on mute.
I would bench Marshawn Lloyd.
Yeah, okay.
Same.
Yeah.
Judkins.
Ja'Cory Krosky.
Samarit.
Jeremiah Love.
Marshawn Lloyd.
I guess only one here from Jacoby.
Judkins.
Bill.
Love.
Lloyd.
I'd probably go Love, but it's close between him and. It's close between him, Lloyd, and Judkins.
Let's see.
It doesn't. It's full PBR.
Yeah, it's got to be Love for me.
Love actually looked really good, I thought, last week when we went down, broke down his tape.
He just. The role was weird.
I think that was somewhat GameScript dependent or maybe because they're working.
He easily is the most upside to me.
I am patiently waiting for Adam and Dan to realize they are both in my new profile.
That's great.
Oh, my gosh.
Is that. Is that. What's the. Yes.
Wow.
Will Ferrell and. You'll get there.
Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.
Uh-huh.
Why am I forgetting the name of this movie?
Talladega Nights.
No.
Step Brothers.
Step Brothers.
Step Brothers.
Speaking of forgetting, I heard you forgot something pretty important on this week's show.
Would you like to hear how that went down?
Yes, I would.
All right.
Yeah.
Someone said, what is the game of the week?
This is the end of. For those of you who didn't stay around for an hour and 20 minutes on Friday Morning Show,
this is what happened at the very end.
Thanks for watching and listening, everybody.
We will talk to you on the mailbag.
The fantasy cops are coming back.
Da-da-da.
There is no game of the week.
Yeah.
Da-da-da.
The idiot host forgot the song.
Wow.
It's only been hosting for 15 years.
No game of the week.
Yeah.
Da-da-da.
Da-da-da.
Da-da-da.
Well done, Dave.
Well done.
Da-da-da.
Da-da-da.
Wow.
You suck at them.
Yep.
I do.
That was awesome.
Good idea there, Jamie.
Yeah.
That's how you sing one of our theme songs, Dan.
Yeah.
That is much better than mine.
I actually had a listener crack on me this weekend thinking that I was seriously thinking
I was good at that.
The fantasy cops song.
It's not just a bit.
People are crazy.
But Dave, that was phenomenal.
I don't think it's Dave's best moment on the show.
The light in the eye.
Nothing.
I don't think we'll ever beat that, really.
Yeah.
Oh.
It's just as good as it gets for fantasy football today content, but pretty good.
And what happened, Adam?
I don't know.
I just completely forgot.
I completely forgot.
Okay.
Are you ready?
So far, you went with a crappy game of the week for week one and no game of the week
for week two.
Great.
You're off to business.
If you tune into the Sunday.
Yeah, his game of the week in week one was a 25-point blowout, and it was never close.
If you tune into a Sunday morning show, I will get Dave with a game of the week.
You know what the best part about this is?
It was the highest scoring week one in NFL history.
That's true.
He could have chosen any game, except the one that he chose.
Like, anyone.
I mean, I couldn't have chosen the Jaguars-Browns.
Okay.
How about Jaden Daniels or Trevor Lawrence?
I'd go Lawrence, but I'm an outlier with that one.
Oh, really?
I think Lawrence is an easy call.
Okay.
Start two.
Luther Burden, Jalen Coker, Parker Washington.
I love all three, but I bet Burden.
Yeah, Washington and Burden for me.
Lloyd.
Black.
Downs or Wicks.
It's full PPR.
Ugh.
If Pierce is out, I'd go Downs.
If Pierce is in, I'd go Lloyd.
I don't think I'd go Lloyd in any scenario.
I think it'd be Downs or Wicks for me for full PPR.
Though I do think Kalen Black's a sneaky play, but not in this format.
Dan, what do you think about this?
I see a flex spot and I want to Kalen Black.
I'm trying to think.
It's not bad.
It's not bad.
I'll give it a 7.3.
I don't want to start him there, though.
Purdy or Baker?
I don't mind him as a flex.
Purdy.
Purdy or Baker?
Yeah, it's got to be Purdy.
Wandale Robinson or Xavier Hutchinson if Nico's out?
I'd still go Wandale.
I'd go Hutchinson.
Did Dan wrestle the armrests from the guy next to him on the plane again?
A, I never wrestled the armrests.
I just felt like, look, and listen, this guy, I'm going to revisit this for a quick second.
Jeez.
He took up both armrests, okay?
At some point, you have to have the decency and respect to not take up both armrests.
I was lucky enough this time that there was no middle seat.
I was in aisle and there was a window and there was no middle.
The best feeling ever on a plane.
When you sit down on a plane and then the other person says, I'm in that row,
and you're like, all right, all right, don't sit in the middle, don't sit in the middle.
He goes to the final.
He goes to the window.
And then you're waiting and you're waiting and everyone's bored and you're like, yes, please, please, please.
That's one of the best feelings in the world when no one takes that middle seat and you just,
You lock in, you're like, is anybody coming?
It looks like the steward, they're putting,
The bag's away.
We're good.
We're good.
We got the middle open.
Great feeling.
Yeah, listen.
I think that sitting in the middle is obviously the worst seat.
You should be entitled to the two armrests.
That's the benefit, the only benefit of sitting in the middle.
You have your armrests.
Yeah, that's what a lot of people think.
That's what the majority thought.
I didn't know that.
I'm willing to respect that.
You should be entitled to the entire armrest.
You should be entitled to use it.
Well, you're not going to share the armrest.
Yeah, the problem that I was – I think you're right.
Yeah, somebody goes top, somebody goes bottom.
Oh, no.
Come on.
No, you know, but that's how I thought.
I'm with Jamie.
I usually share it.
There's at least some room, and that's the thing.
You opened my eyes to a new idea on this.
The middle does deserve both, but to the extent of reaching that arm out into the space of
the other person, that's the problem I had, and then the legs, too, were in my area.
You know you have a defined leg spot where you don't cross that line.
It's an imaginary line, but you don't cross that line and put your leg into that line.
It's going to piss somebody off.
It's not even really all that imaginary.
I mean, you can't.
You can't be doing that.
Marshawn Lloyd or Quentin Johnston if McConkie's out?
I'd go Johnston, especially with PPR.
Yeah, it's Johnston for me.
I'm not starting Marshawn Lloyd anywhere.
Bucky or Pickens in the flex?
PPR, Pickens.
I'd go Pickens, too, but who are you benching?
Yeah, seriously.
Okay, that's it for the first round of your YouTube comments.
We'll get back to those a little bit later.
Sunday morning, again, I'll make up for my game of the week flub, and I'll get Dave there.
But Sunday morning, 11 to 1 p.m. Eastern, youtube.com slash fantasyfootballtoday.
Two hours of answering your questions.
Please join us because, yeah, I mean, it's a great way to get your questions answered.
I mean, that's basically all we do, and we'll also give you all the major headlines and stuff like that.
But that is Sunday morning, 11 to 1 Eastern, youtube.com slash fantasyfootballtoday.
Time for emails at fantasyfootballatcbsi.com.
Andy's in a 10-team PPR league.
If McConkie and Flowers are out, do I play Devon Vele or pick up Trey Harris, Bateman, or a Texan?
Vele for me.
It's Vele because you want to play this smart and play it based on the volume we've seen.
But I will say this.
Trey Harris, if McConkie's out, is one of my favorite Flyers of the week.
And I would suggest if McConkie's out, starting him in basically every league that you need a flex in.
I would also say that about Bateman, too, because you don't only have Flowers out, you have Jacoby Lane out.
And Lamar Jackson was speaking very highly of Rashad Bateman this week.
If Flowers hasn't been ruled out yet, correct?
No, neither has McConkie.
Yeah, we're waiting for some practice reports.
Hopefully, they'll come in during our show today.
This is from Doug.
Please pick three.
It's a full PPR league.
Tee Higgins, Devante Smith, Luther Burden, and Matthew Golden.
Wow.
First three for me.
It is still the first three for me, but full PPR.
I don't think I could bench Burden, Higgins.
Yeah, I think you have to go with the studs there.
I'm just going to go out on a limb and say I think Matthew Golden.
Okay.
I feel like we might be getting a little too excited.
Because the game script is kind of wonky?
You know, look, I definitely think they're going to throw more than they used to, like without question.
Yeah.
But again, like I think I said, 25% of his routes were go routes.
He's still, you know, he's not going to get a lot of ease.
And this is going to be one of those teams where week by week, it's going to be a little hard to predict the targets.
I think that's my guess.
So, you know, you got a lot of golden targets in week one.
I'm encouraged.
I mean, he's going to be a good draft pick.
But at this point, I'm not putting.
They all got targets.
That's the thing, though.
They did.
And Kraft only played half the snaps.
And the running backs did not get targets, which is great for the receivers.
I just I don't think I'm at the point.
I know I'm not at the point where I'm even considering him over Higgins, Devante Smith or Luther Burden.
No.
That's fair.
Now, of course, he could be better than them as fantasy football.
But I understand the question.
Also, the guy's name is Doug.
Does anybody ever hear the name Doug without thinking of the hangover at this point?
No, I think if I heard the name Doug, the first thing that comes to my mind was Doug funny.
That was my childhood.
Yeah, that's what comes first for me.
OK, I'm a dude.
I know that's the wrong one.
Yeah, I guess.
What's the Doug one?
There's a good one.
There's a good one in there.
I don't remember blanking on it.
I think this guy's name, I'm going to pronounce it.
He's down 70 points already and try to win this week with upside or think long.
He's 0-1 down 70 points.
He needs to start five.
Devon H.N. Hampton, Ramondre Stevenson.
We need two running backs going to be the first two, right?
Yep.
It's got Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson.
They have more upside anyway.
Yeah.
Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Jalen Coker, Parker Washington.
We need two of those.
Zay Flowers may not play, so if he does, you play him.
Yeah, that seems like that one will work itself out, right?
Just Coker and Washington.
Garrett Wilson, Parker Washington, and Jalen Coker.
Oh, no.
Wilson and Washington then.
I'd go Wilson and Washington too, unless Flowers is in.
And then you have a flex.
So the flex is either going to be Flowers or it's going to be Coker or Ramondre.
I think the receivers.
Yeah, especially if it's full PPR.
It seems like it is, right?
So I don't understand what the question is long-term.
I guess it's just essentially the running back, right, over Coker.
I don't know why he said think long.
No, unless he's trying to lose and get a better waiver spot.
I don't know.
Yeah, I'm not sure.
He also said he tried to find a single movie or TV show
where the cast had either actors or characters named Dave, Heath, Adam, and Jamie,
and he couldn't find any in 100 years.
That's awesome.
Unless we do a movie ourselves.
Yeah, we could do a movie.
Yeah, there is a fantasy football.
Today movie in the works.
Scheduled for 2040, I believe, the release date.
I know some people.
I would love to.
This is from Nick.
Who says you're in it?
Who said I'm in it?
No, Dan.
Of course.
I didn't say I was in it.
I'm directing it.
Okay.
Start one.
You better be careful, buddy.
Jalen Waddle or Jalen Coker?
I might go Coker.
Hey, we're ready at that point with Waddle.
It can't look as bad as it did for the Broncos offense.
They couldn't complete a forward pass for most of that game.
Spags is unbelievable,
but you have to be somewhat concerned with their offensive line at this point,
which was coming into the year supposed to be one of the best the NFL,
and in my mind was not able to help them generate a drop back pass game,
which is weird.
I think Coker's a little bit safer, but I still play Waddle.
It's only week two.
Yeah, and I'm nervous.
I'm saying Waddle, but I'm nervous about it for sure.
We're going to take a break.
We got more of your questions when we come back.
Stick around to the mailbag.
The fun is just beginning on Fantasy Football today.
My companion for this summer season has been Z Biotics.
Let me tell you why.
Just headed out to a concert at Pier 17.
How mouth.
What a show.
I got home at 3 a.m., and I realized 8 a.m. tea time.
What am I going to do?
I got a big match.
No worries at all.
I took Z Biotics the night before, had a few drinks, woke up the next day like nothing happened.
Got to that course at 7 a.m., warmed up, and won my match.
Z Biotics pre-alcohol probiotic drink is the world's first genetically engineered probiotic.
It was invented by Ph.D. scientists to break down acetaldehyde, a byproduct of drinking alcohol.
Pre-alcohol produces an enzyme that is designed to break down this byproduct.
Make pre-alcohol your first drink of the night.
Drink responsibly and enjoy your next day activities.
Z Biotics has sold more than 14 million bottles.
And earned the trust of thousands, including us.

I recently took a trip to Memphis for the FFT draft-a-thon.
While we were there, we also got to experience a little bit of what makes Memphis so special.
Including some of the food the city is famous for.
We had Memphis-style barbecue with pulled pork, ribs, and all the.
Classic sides.
It was an incredible trip.
Especially getting to spend time with everyone involved.
Enjoy some great local food and support a cause that means so much to all of us.
And while I was away enjoying the trip, my place back home was just sitting empty.
It got me thinking.
If you're going to be away anyway, why not put that space to use?
While you're traveling or taking off for a long weekend,
you could list your space on Airbnb and earn some extra cash while you're gone.
And when big events come to your city, like a major game, concert,
festival, or convention, travelers are looking for places to stay.
Listing your space on Airbnb can be a way to welcome those visitors to your city
while putting your space to work and earning some extra cash
that you can put toward your next trip.
Your home might be worth more than you think.
Find out how much at airbnb.com slash host.
If you haven't done so already, you have to check out Whatnot.
Whatnot is the largest live shopping marketplace in the United States.
You can see the sellers.
Showcase their products and purchase what you want.
It's so cool.
They have so many things to buy.
I just went on Whatnot a few minutes ago, and within five minutes, what did I see for sale?
Bug zappers, hats, golf balls, Super Nintendo games, vacuums, shoes.
It's amazing.
I saw a brand new Nintendo gaming console sell for $15.
I would have bid on it if I didn't already have one,
and I paid a lot more than that, I'll tell you that much.
One thing you can get on Whatnot, sports cards.
Four sports cards are
sold on what not every second you're not
just looking at a flat listing picture. You can watch sellers show the real card live before you
buy. They'll zoom in on the centering and answer your specific questions instantly right in the

the things you've been chasing. Terms apply. And we are back here. Okay, quick question from the
chat. We want Dan's thoughts on Adam's new head-to-head fantasy league with best ball playoff
scoring. It is not best ball playoff scoring, but I would like to hear Dan's thoughts. Also,
before Dan gets into it, that you stole this idea. Oh, no. Oh, you've been called out. I'm not the
first one to come up with it, but I didn't steal it. I have no idea. I've never heard it before.
At least I don't remember hearing it.
You've been called out by a very good friend of yours. Who? Let Dan go, and I'll reveal the
source. All right. I cannot wait to hear what Jamie's talking about. I think you're going to
like it. It's, you know, six teams make the playoffs in a 12-team league. The first week is
two teams get a bye, and you do the head-to-head matchups and all that. You get to your final four
teams. No more matchups. All four teams play for two weeks. They set their lineup each week.
Highest scoring team wins. Oh, and the highest scoring team wins it all?
Yeah.
It's a two-week playoff for four teams.
For four teams.
So you can't sit there, oh, I ran into a buzzsaw. I had a really bad week.
Yeah, I hate to say it, but I absolutely love this. You know how I am. I'm the guy that says
you should be giving half of the payout and potting your league to the points winner. I'm
the guy that doesn't like the whole schedule nonsense, and I'm a big fan of median scoring.
I want apex scoring. I want more matchups each week, make it less luck. And this, to me,
seems like it takes the luck and variance factor down some. Anything I can do to minimize variance,
I'm in on. In fantasy football, there's already so much variance to begin with. So I'm in on this
idea, though I am wildly concerned with the accusation that you stole this idea.
Well, Mel says in the chat, wait a minute, Adam, if you said you never heard about it before,
but then you said you're not the first one, that doesn't make sense. So since I said this on the
show two days ago, I've gotten a number of emails from people saying that we do the same exact thing
in our leagues. So I know this isn't an original idea. And it's possible, honestly, that throughout
the course of time, someone planted the seed in my head. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
Seed in my head and said it. And I just forgot. But whatever. I'm not taking any credit for this.
I just think that this is a better way to do it. And in the podcast league and maybe in our
softball league that Dan is in and had a great week one, I might propose it. I might propose
it this weekend. I like it a lot. And I see in the chat, Johnny said, no, luck is part of the
game. And he given something. I respect that, Johnny. I think even if you do things like this
to minimize the variance, luck is still such a massive factor. There's injuries. There's all
sorts of nonsense. Like luck is already ticked up so high. Why not?
Take it down as much as we can. It's still going to be there no matter what luck.
Yeah. All right, Jamie, what did I do?
Jay, Darren Darst.
Oh, really? And he doesn't. This is the kind of guy, if he said something, you listen.
Yeah.
We've been doing this fantasy playoff thing for 20 plus years.
Oh, cool.
So I replied to him. I said, Adam stole it from you. And he said, maybe not on purpose,
but we've been running our league like this for at least 20 years. I'll hang up and listen for
credit on the next podcast.
There you go. And he got his credit.
He's one of your closest friends.
Darst.
You stole it without even giving a credit.
He smashed me in one of our leagues last week, too. And then he talked a little trash
afterwards. But that's that's cool. All right, good. It's a good idea. I think I think we should
all start doing it. Not doing every league, but I think you should start considering it.
All right. This one is this.
The problem with it is that you most likely have to do it manually, correct? Because that's the
problem I run into in my home league with a lot of the things I propose. Yeah, but people want to
see the standings page and they want to see it. They want to look at it. That's the thing. Like
we've I've proposed.
Like running points because we get half our pot to the points winners first and second. I propose
running points to the payoffs and people are like, no, Yahoo, whatever doesn't track it.
Like CBS doesn't track it. Yahoo doesn't track it through the playoffs, like whatever league
you're using. No. So that's the problem. That's where your idea runs into its biggest problem.
You have to create a Google sheet and nobody likes that.
No, you don't have to do that. Not in CBS. You just match up everybody with an open opponent.
You see four matchups there at the top and you see who has the highest score.
All right. More of the reason to use the CBS platform. There we go.
Dan doesn't know his own platform or how to use a mic stand.
I know how to use my mic stand. I'm not going to bring a mic stand on me with this trip. You're
lucky. All right, guys, back to it here. I'm going to read the greeting. I'm going to let
you figure it out, but don't say what it is. Okay. Cause it's inappropriate. Dear Clark,
Vital, Buttkiss, and In A Box. I am the AJ Brown and DJ Moore manager in a full PPR 12 team
league with three receivers and a flex and super deep benches. Waver wire is bleak. I still have
Evans digs, but Keenan Allen, Trey Tucker, and Adonai Mitchell. I have Bijan, Kyron Williams,
Blake Corum, Bill. Um, I was offered DK Metcalf and Carnell Tate for my AJ Brown and Mike
Washington jr. And I'm probably going to be Owen too. What do you think? Would you give up AJ
Brown and Mike Washington for DK Metcalf and Carnell Tate? No.
No. And honestly, I've seen a lot of AJ Brown questions. I, I tried to train AJ Brown in a
league where I'm, I've got McConkie and DJ Moore as well. This, I would never accept Metcalf and
Carnell Tate. Like you got to get a player that you can start and, and try to find a two and O
team. It's going to be hard to do it this week. Find a two and O team. Maybe you have to wait
until there's a three and O team, but I understand the AJ Brown stuff, but this is not enough.
It's a rough start for, is it, is the bet AJ Brown versus a flowers? No. Right. Smith. Oh,
all right. From Brett start my homes or dart four point for passing touchdown league. Adam be
objective. What do you guys think? Dan be objective. Yeah. I mean, I was low on dart
from a fantasy standpoint to start the season. I got called out on it from Scott Barrett yesterday
on Twitter, but in this matchup, I, I think it's probably a better play to play my homes.
Like there's a good enough chance. The giants take a step back this week there. I
think they're able to do what they want to do. If Aaron Donald plays, he's going to be a massive
mismatch for the giants. Cause they don't have a good center, probably better off playing my
homes in this Colts defense looked horrible to me. Yeah. I would play dart. I think there you go
dart despite the massive scenario here that could help him, you know, if the Rams offense shows up
and I liked the fact that he ran, you know, so he's never going to stop running. Yeah. And he
played a lot of tough matchups last year and he did pretty damn well. I know he was on, he scored so much
against Denver defense last year. He, if you look at it, fantasy wise, he's had one bad game. I think
the Vikings game where they just didn't let him throw. And did he have Washington? What, which
one do you say Patriots Patriot Monday night where he got the hit? Yeah. Yeah. Like two or three bad
games and that's all. Yeah. It's a tough call for me. Cause I think my homes will be all right this
week, but yeah, Colts defense is so good. I'm going to go dart. Okay. This
PBR
Flex spot
Judkins
Dobbins
Kalief Raymond
or Mac
Hollins
Judkins
Dobbins
Malik neighbors
no I mean
Kalief Raymond
Kalief Raymond
you need one
yeah and
Mac Hollins
yeah just one
it's still
Judkins for me
unless
Harvey's out
then I might go
Dobbins
yeah it's
Judkins
I mean there's
just more upside
I'm just laughing
at the chat
from Adam Lee
what would the
chat say
I think I can
read this
I don't know
I said oh man
I got hammered
on Jack Daniels
like Dan advised
me and C-Biotics
bailed me out
of work
out of work
today
thanks bro
it's true though
the C-Biotics
is unreal
I did have it
like two weekends
ago when I went
out to a concert
and just felt like
nothing happened
when I woke up
that's great
weird
it's science man
this is from TJ
12 team half PPR
league
I have Ken Walker
and Devon Achan
and Omarion Hampton
but not a lot of
wide receivers
so should I trade
Hampton
for David Montgomery
and Debo Samuel
I would aim higher
but
yeah I would aim higher
I would never
do that trade
in my lifetime
we watched the tape
the Chargers
week one
is one of the most
overreacted games
in my opinion
in all fantasy
right now
they look good
then McConkie
got hurt
and then they had
a few F-ups
on offense
like
I don't know
I don't know
they were missing things
by little amounts
that forced them to punt
and then they had a turnover
but they were never
really stopped
and Hampton had so many
good gains in that
in that game
and to me it looked good
so I think it's the most
overrated
or overreacted
to week one
I think that offense
is going to be fine
I think just the alarming
thing would be
is that there were
concerns about the middle
of the offensive line
that got exposed
he wasn't involved
in the passing game
that sucked
and just the natural
feel about
whenever you get a team
like this
struggling again
you know so
is it just the same
old Chargers
being the Chargers
this is a telling week
you know
and not having McConkie
I think will be
big for Hampton
because why would you not
just lean on your running back
and hopefully just
walk away with this game
because they should be able
to defend the Raiders
all right
question from Kenneth
I got offered
Chris Olave
and Jadarian Price
for Chase Brown
in a 10 team PPR league
that's close
if you need receivers
I don't mind it
because you're getting
you know you're buying
low on price
he can easily go off
this week
and then be the guy
for Seattle
at least until
Sharvin is back
and Olave
as a stud, their draft value was relatively close to begin with.
So I would maybe look for a little bit higher, but that's a fair deal.
It's a fair trade.
I think it's better in a 12 and 14 or a 14-team league than a 10.
You might not really need Jadarian Price,
but it's always good to have some depth.
So I think it's a fine trade.
From Jared from Arizona.
Dear Bronco, DeAndre, Matthew, and Walter.
Bronco, DeAndre, Matthew, and Walter.
No idea.
I am pretty sure these are Bears running backs.
By the way, the one we thought was easy to know earlier,
I had no idea about.
The Buck is, whatever.
Are you serious?
It's like Bears players, I guess.
Dick Vitale.
Oh, I see it now.
I see it now.
You obviously have never seen In the Box.
What is that?
You never saw that?
Just Google it when you're done.
Okay.
You'll laugh your ass off.
It is one of the best SNL skits in a long time.
It's not a skit.
It's like a prepackaged song.
Anyway, this is. What, prepackaged?
No, just him not knowing what those were.
Bronco, Nagurski, DeAndre, Swift.
I'm guessing Matthew Forte and Walter Payton.
Great trade.
I give Garrett Wilson and Harold Fannin.
I get Brock Bowers and Devon Vele in a 12-team PPR league.
He has Justin Jefferson, Romo Dunzey, Jalen Coker,
Matthew Golden.
So he can give up Garrett Wilson and Fannin,
get Bowers and Vele.
That's one I would click so fast to accept
to make sure the opposing manager doesn't take it back
that it would already be done.
So to me, it's an easy win.
You could be worried that Bowers will linger all year,
that injury.
That's exactly what I was going to say.
But the upside to me is worth it.
Garrett Wilson, he's fine.
We overrate him.
I think general fantasy world overrates him.
He's a good player to have, and you could rely on him.
Our wide receiver, too.
He has no major league-winning upside like Bowers has to me, at least.
I would definitely accept the trade.
I would disagree a little bit on the Garrett Wilson assessment.
On his upside?
Yeah.
I mean, look, he's going to get uber-targeted, which we love.
He was off to such an amazing start last year before the knee injury.
And so hopefully that happens to some level again.
It's just a matter of, you know, Geno Smith being Geno Smith.
But the knock on Garrett Wilson, at least somewhat,
coming in was the addition of Sadiq, the addition of Adonai Mitchell
since the injury, the addition of Omar Cooper.
Cooper's now out for an extended period of time.
I don't think Sadiq and Mitchell are going to impact his target share.
So I'm definitely fine with the trade.
But I think it's pretty fair if you need receivers.
We're going to see some crazy receiver trades in the next week or two
with these injuries, especially if Nico Ladd and Zay Flowers miss time.
And hopefully DJ Moore sounds like he's okay.
But you're losing bodies at this position.
This goes to your theory, Adam, that we discussed.
In the preseason of running back injuries versus receiver injuries,
it's a myth at this point.
Yeah, and these guys are dropping quickly.
So, you know, we may see some of these, you know,
these wild trades for running backs and other players for receivers.
Oh, I just figured out on the fly.
Oh, look at you.
A makeshift mic stand.
My arms are getting so, so tired.
I could not believe we're 28 minutes in.
Can you still hear me all right?
Yeah, good enough.
Good enough.
Oh, this is great.
All right, I'm going to do a few more emails here
and then we'll get on to the fantasy cops.
Or maybe we can try to go like rapid fire.
This is from Paul.
Which wide receiver do I start this week alongside George Pickens
in a non-PPR league?
T. Higgins, Emeka, Abuka, Christian Watson, Luther Burden.
That's like the perfect non-PPR wide receiver roster right there.
It's so good.
How many does he need?
He needs one.
Unless he's assuming he's going to start for me.
That's interesting because the touchdown potential for Higgins and Watson could be amazing.
I might go back to Higgins.
Okay.
I'm Abuka there.
I'm Abuka too.
I would go Higgins most weeks, but just with the Texans matchup.
Like the Texans defense looked pretty bad week one.
I think what we saw last night was that the bills are just going to humiliate everyone.
They're unstoppable.
So I think I'll get away from Higgins for Abuka.
This week.
Actually, no, I'm going to change my answer.
I'm going to go Watson.
Okay.
Yeah.
He's a touchdown scorer.
No doubt.
This is from Amy.
Just traded Brian Thomas Jr.
For Parker Washington.
One guy in my league is a big BTJ believer.
I need to start three of the four.
Now, Parker Washington, Malik neighbors, Mike Evans, Garrett Wilson, and I'm starting Trevor Lawrence.
So sit one Parker Washington, Malik neighbors, Mike Evans, Garrett Wilson.
I'm sitting at, wow, you're sitting Evans.
Wow.
I love these guys.
They're all great.
Yep.
Uh, to me, it's either Wilson or Washington for the sit.
I said this on the first, I love Evans matchup this week.
So I couldn't sit in.
Yeah, I agree.
Yeah.
And I know you're not.
And I said this to Jacob on the last show.
I think this might be the last week that he ranks Malik neighbors outside his top 12 at receivers.
I mean, if you look at it last week, the role he had first week back, that's incredible.
And it's just going to continue to grow.
And that was like a floor roll at.
Worst and better.
He said he believed he could have scored two touchdowns if he was, you know, wasn't as
rusty, which we'll see.
And I mean, it's a tough matchup, but a Washington or Wilson to bench, I'll, I'll bench Wilson
of that though.
I may be underrating Wilson.
I just feel like every year we prop up Wilson a little more than what he's actually produced
in fantasy football.
Did you watch the jets tape?
No, I didn't get a chance to watch jet Titans.
I'm curious.
Three games.
There's like three games I missed.
Yeah.
I'm curious to know what you think.
Um, because I thought they were, I thought they were great, uh, like schematically or
just, I just thought they, I don't know about like, I, that's not kind of above my pay grade,
but I just thought that they looked really competent, like, you know, with a good rhythm
on time, you know, very fluid offense and Tennessee really had no pass rush.
So I, that was a big part of it, but they, they just looked really competent and we'll
have a much different test this week.
Well, I don't know.
I don't know how great, good of a defense green Bay is, but it'll be better than Tennessee's.
It's interesting.
Yeah.
Curious to know your thoughts.
If you get a chance to watch them now, because there, there are pieces there.
The offensive line is completely revamped with a lot of talent and Gino, when has time
has been really good quarterback at the NFL level.
So I do think they're going to start getting Kenyon Sadiq the ball more, but also like
with Garrett, with Garrett Wilson, two years in a row, he's been a top 12 receiver per
game for the first six games of the year.
And then just fell off.
No.
Well, two years ago, they traded for Devante Adams.
And last year, they traded for Devante Adams.
Last year was the injury.
So he's, I think he's a little better than you give him credit for, but.
Probably a lot better.
Yeah.
I just feel like the way we rank him every year, it's like based on a little bit of hope,
but we'll see.
All right.
Some practice reports for you.
Yes.
Jalen Coker's going through special teams drills.
So it seems like he's fine.
Okay.
Excuse me.
Joe Burrow practicing still a little bit limited, but it seems like he's fine.
Sean Tucker and Jalen McMillan practicing in full.
Okay.
And Samadji Pirine not practicing, but he was dealing with an illness.
Okay.
If he, he will play, it's just an illness, but whenever he's out, it's like, it's actually
a huge boost to chase Brown.
Okonkwo not practicing.
Yeah.
Okay.
That makes sense.
All right.
We'll get the fantasy cops involved.
Actually, maybe we'll throw in a fantasy cops before we hit the break.
I actually have a fancy cops want to report myself.
Oh God.
Did I do something?
No, no.
Me.
Oh, on you.
Okay.
Yeah.
What do you got?
Oh, you want to do it now?
I thought you were going to do a break.
We'll get one in and then we'll go to break.
Okay.
So my longest running, longest running league.
We, this is actually the, the reason why I moved most of my league waivers to Wednesday
is that it just thought it was easier because you get practice reports in at least one day.
The commissioner apparently changed it.
Didn't tell anybody.
And change it to Tuesdays, at least for week one or I'm sorry for week two.
So I don't know if I was the only one that noticed this or not.
It was like, you know, I, I usually do a lot of my waiver of wire stuff like after midnight.
So that like hour and a half window before waivers run, at least on our site, um, I wasn't
going to wake anybody up.
This not, not done that for any strategically.
I just was not going to send a text message at midnight to most people on the East coast
and say, Hey, by the way, waivers are, are off.
So I put on my waiver moves thinking it's, it's, you know, blind bidding.
Thinking everybody's going to potentially saw this the same.
I was the only one that got waiver moves.
Now this is a league that's very casual 20 plus years that we've been doing this.
Um, sometimes there are weeks where people don't make waiver moves, but nobody else made
waiver moves.
And so I was like, do I say something or not say something?
And I didn't know what to do.
So I didn't say anything.
And nobody said anything in the league yet.
Nobody said a word.
That's so weird.
It's a 10 team league, 10 team league.
So I don't know, like, you know, people don't like to adjust their rosters.
Very much.
It, like I said, it's very casual league.
Okay.
This is, this has been going on for, just let it go.
I gotta be honest.
If I was in your position, there's a 99 to a hundred percent chance that I just let it
go.
No, I did just like the conscience.
You don't get gifts often in this game.
When you get a gift handed to you, you take it.
That's how I look at it.
Oh man.
All right.
That's our first way overspend for Kalon Black.
Yeah.
Cause you didn't need to spend anything.
Apparently.
That was my penalty, I guess.
All right.
We got more fantasy cops on the other side of the break.
We'll be right back on Fantasy Football today.

Alright, Fantasy Cops time.
Send in your emails to
fantasyfootballatcbsi.com
Put Fantasy Cops in the subject line.
This is from Mason.
I am in a chopped league.
Also referred to as guillotine.
That me and a buddy of mine
commissioned that has 16 people
and has had a huge dilemma
the very first week.
This is, this, okay.
You know what?
I was going to make a commentary
but I'll just let it play out.
Here we go.
After Wednesday and Thursday's games
in week one,
I noticed that a team didn't set a lineup
and this team also did not participate
in the draft.
So almost completely inactive.
I, as the commissioner,
benched his entire starting roster.
After he started Travion Henderson
who was inactive
and had Jordan Tyson
in the starting lineup.
I did this so the active participants
could stay in the running
to not get chopped.
This caused a large argument
in the chat room
where I wished him
to have a horrible campaign
and he wished bad things upon me as well
after me dropping his roster to his bench
made him realize what was going on.
He did not end up losing week one
and is still in the draft.
He's in the running.
Was I wrong to do what I did
after him not being active
throughout the process
until I made the choice
to try to eliminate him myself?
I was forcibly removed
from my office as commissioner
after this was done
and I was fierce
in the defense of my actions.
Please help us bring an end
to this all-out war
in our league.
You were wrong.
Yeah.
Yeah, he was pretty cut and dry.
Yeah.
Pretty bad commissioner.
Yeah, you kind of got
what you deserve there.
I hate to say it, but yeah.
I don't think he should be removed
unless this was,
no, not the first time offense.
But like,
if you're going to go through
the process of altering
your league mate's roster,
why don't we just say,
hey, man, your lineups
messed up.
Fix it.
Yeah.
That's what you should be doing.
Yeah.
Completely.
It's common courtesy
and you don't have to do anything.
You don't have to have any of that.
You don't have to do anything.
That's true.
But if you're actually
going to do something,
give the person some notice first.
And by the way,
if it's a guillotine league,
who cares if they choose
not to set their lineup?
Then that's on them.
They're out.
Well, he thought he was
trying to facilitate this guy losing
by giving him an even worse lineup.
Right.
And I think what it probably did
was it alerted this guy
and then he finally set a lineup
and then he moved on.
I kind of hope this guy wins now.
Yeah.
Me too.
I hope this guy wins
and I hope the commissioner
loses immediately.
All right.
We've got Commissioner Vizzuzzo.
He says it's a thankless job
and I agree with him.
He is such a thankless job.
10-team Superflex League,
highly competitive.
Do we have any updates
on Uncle Jim, by the way?
What's that?
No.
Do we have any updates
on Uncle Jim?
I know.
Agreed.
No updates.
That's my favorite of all time.
All right.
And we recently celebrated
our 10-year anniversary
with a draft trip to Charleston
with the league.
Let's go.
I say this because
we're a tight-knit group.
We want to maintain
the integrity of the league.
So here's the situation.
Our league has a
mulligan rule
where if a player is injured
in the first quarter
and does not return,
he can be replaced
with a player from the bench
before or after
their game has started.
Kind of love that.
When asked,
I, the commissioner,
explicitly said to. Sorry.
I have some Dan indigestion here.
Okay.
I, the commissioner,
explicitly said that
the mulligan has to be declared
before the end
of the Monday night football game
for the Robinsons
roster to be edited that evening.
A league mate who wanted
to use the mulligan
forgot to tell me
on Monday night
that he wanted to replace
Kyler Murray with a player
from his bench.
After some thought,
I said,
let's be better
about this moving forward.
And I momentarily
allowed the mulligan
to occur.
Oh, no.
Even though it was
after the deadline.
No.
The opponent declared
that the mulligan
was not stated on Monday night
so it should not count.
After some discussion,
I ruled that the mulligan
would not be awarded
because it was not
explicitly stated
on Monday night.
I fear that I am in the wrong
because the manager
who was going to use it
insinuated multiple times
over the course of Sunday
and Monday
that he would use it
but he never said it.
It was almost implied.
This is a tough spot.
What do we do?
It's not a tough spot.
This is like in golf.
If you top a ball
off the tee box
and you go up to it
really quick
with your three wood
and you blast it
and it goes onto the green
or if you blast it
out of bounds,
like, nah,
I would have used a mulligan.
You don't have the opportunity
once you move on
past the point.
And in this situation,
it's the deadline
of the mulligan
has passed.
You missed the deadline
for the mulligan.
You're done.
No mulligan for you
this week.
So that's the easy way
to define it
and I don't disagree.
If it's a rule,
it's a rule.
But if there is
a text exchange
and something
that's in writing
or an email exchange
that says,
hey, I'm going to use
the mulligan
and then forgets
to say it to you
on Monday
like before the deadline
passes
but it implied it
based on what
this email just said,
if they're that close
of friends,
no,
then I think you're out.
That opens the door
to so much subjectivity.
Yeah, like first of all,
what you have to do
is you have to make it,
the person has to message
the entire league.
Put it on the league
message board,
I'm using the mulligan.
And for this guy
who had Kyler Murray
and had the option
to replace him,
Kyler Murray scored
basically zero points.
What are you waiting for?
Like it's so obvious
that you're going to do this.
Right, so that's the point.
If he said it,
but he didn't say it,
well, he didn't say it
clearly enough
and I think you have to-
No, that seems to be the case.
But if you, Adam,
had said to me
in one of our leagues,
I'm going to make this switch
or can I make this switch
and I say yes
and then I forget to do it
for you.
Well, that's different.
Or you forget to officially
declare it
in however you're supposed
to declare it.
You've already mentioned it
or said it.
Like why are we ruining
friendships over stuff like this?
That's just semantics.
No.
I don't think your friendship
should be ruined.
It's not semantics.
The rule is the rule.
Like you have to call a mulligan
and it's similar to golf.
Like you can't,
not that I,
I mean, it's not really similar to golf.
Golf is in real time.
Nobody plays with mulligans.
That's ridiculous to begin with.
But if you do have a rule like that,
like then you got to declare it.
You can't just hit the ball again
and be like,
like I feel like this guy
was kind of playing it like
if I needed it,
I would have used it.
That's not how the rule,
that's not the, you know,
honor of the world.
Yeah, I mean, listen,
we don't know what's happened
in the past also.
Like he has to declare it
before the end of the Monday night game.
Is that what it said?
Yeah.
I don't understand
why he didn't declare it.
It's very weird.
I mean, to be honest,
Dan Choin in the chat is right.
Just get rid of any rule
that uses subjectivity
and that's good.
You're going to have a better.
And why have we not heard
Dan's fancy cost rendition yet?
You know what?
I don't want to kill it.
I'll bring it in every now and then.
No, we don't want that every time.
This is from the Red Dragon.
$200 budget auction league.
You're allowed to trade
players this year
for auction money
in the following year.
For example,
last year someone traded
Jackson Smith and Jigma
for $40 in auction money
because he was out of contention.
At this year's draft,
the commissioner forgot
to adjust the budgets
and nobody realized
until the online draft started.
It was the night before
the first NFL game
so the draft couldn't be rescheduled.
We drafted with everyone
having the same $200 budget
and the guy who traded JSN
for 40 extra dollars
got completely screwed.
What should be done
to compensate
compensate the guy who got screwed,
and please feel free to roast the commissioner
as much as possible in your response.
All right, so the commissioner's a dumbass.
Yeah, worse.
I know bad commissioners.
That's bad.
The $40 just carries over to next year
and a 10% increase.
So commissioner tax, you get a 10% bonus.
So it's 50 bucks for next year.
That's a whole.
That's a, I mean.
Inflation.
I don't know.
And I'm sorry, I'll rephrase it.
The $40 carries over.
He loses $10 off his $200 budget, the commissioner,
for anybody else that he screwed over.
Does it go to the-
It goes to, so if there's three people
that got screwed over because of this move,
he loses 30 bucks, 10 to each person
that he screwed over.
All right, there's only one thing I don't agree with.
I don't agree with giving the guys the extra $10.
I think make the commissioner lose it,
but now it's too much of an advantage
for the guy who traded-
Oh, that's fair, that's fine.
Yeah, it's too much of an advantage.
But I mean, you did ruin their experience this year.
Yeah.
So you should enhance it somehow.
Maybe there's not 10 bucks.
I don't know how to beat this
because Dan in the chat suggests wave his entry.
For this year, that's fair.
And I like that idea almost more
than like ruining next year with a $40 to 50,
but that impacts everyone in the league
and they don't deserve to get hit.
It's really just the commissioner who deserves to get hit.
So that's fine.
So take the money off the commissioner
and don't give it to anybody else.
I almost feel like the commissioner
has to pay for this guy's behind him.
Like, I don't know.
He did such a bad job.
Okay, okay, okay.
As a commissioner who has made some mistakes before,
I'm not really punishing the commissioner.
I will publicly call him out
and call him a loser or whatever.
It's just tongue in cheek.
He's a loser.
No one said that.
Well, I'm saying it.
He's a loser.
He's a big loser.
He has no friends.
Everyone in the league hates him.
Wow.
No, I'm just kidding.
But no, seriously, like we make mistakes.
People make mistakes.
I don't think any penalty is necessary.
All right, so then just make it a small penalty,
a dollar per infraction that he screwed up.
I mean, it ruins the entire year for this guy.
It's a league ruiner.
Yes, it is.
He just lost $40 out of 200.
That's so much of your budget.
You can't come back.
And give him more fab.
Give him more fab if that's what you want.
Fab?
What's fab going to do?
Give him fab.
Give him JSA back.
Oh, fab Braylon Allen.
Now I can get him.
What the heck?
How about this?
If there's an injured running back,
you're going to say no.
No, no, no.
It carries over to next year.
He gets his $40.
Now this is even more subjective.
The first injured running back,
you get his handcuff.
He gets to choose.
If there's someone on waivers that he really wants,
he gets to get them for free.
This is horrible.
He can hold on to that.
This is freaking horrible.
He gets his $40 back.
He gets his $40 applied.
So the 2027 draft and the commissioner has to have some sort of tax,
whether it's a dollar off his budget or five or $10,
whatever it is.
He has to be penalized as well.
Great call here from Chris.
Why didn't the person who should have had the extra 40,
not say anything before the draft?
This isn't only on the commish.
Well,
from what it sounds like,
he thought the commissioner had it handled,
right?
If I went to a draft expecting to have $240 and I saw my budget said 200,
I would have said something.
But you didn't see it probably until you went into the draft.
Well,
based on how you read it,
it sounded like the draft started.
He's like,
Oh,
where's my $40?
And it doesn't have it.
I mean,
I guess that's kind of true.
All right.
That's the end of it.
Let's get some Apple podcast questions.
Got the word.
And he didn't hear it.
See,
I heard it.
I'm so just,
but you don't have to worry about that later.
You got a little editing to do my friend.
That's what happened.
Oh,
crap.
Extra editing for you.
Forget it.
No,
it's not for me.
It's for Sam.
Oh,
that's not,
it's not as fun.
Now that I know it's Sam,
it was more fun when you used to have to do it.
All right.
Parker Washington.
It's worth it to make Adam mad.
So
Sam,
you're my favorite.
Parker Washington or Jalen Coker?
Washington.
Washington.
Yeah.
Dear bandit,
bingo,
chili and muffin.
No idea.
Bluey.
Bluey.
Okay.
Of course,
I would have no idea of that.
All right.
Just trade.
He has,
he has Bowers.
Just traded Jawan Johnson,
Michael Mayer and Emmett Johnson for Colston Loveland.
Jawan Johnson,
Michael Mayer.
Oh my God.
That's amazing.
It's an amazing trade.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Plus now you get,
you get to add Braylon Owens.
Yeah.
I actually think it's an interesting,
like waiver wire golden gun where you,
you,
you know,
waiver wire is totally normal,
but then once a year,
this person just gets to jump to the front of the line and get the guy that he
wants.
He has to decide when to use it.
But what line?
Like,
so then most leagues are using FAB right now because that,
whatever,
it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter what he has to,
does he have to use FAB or he just gets it for one dollar?
He gets whoever he wants for free once a year.
Terrible rule.
It's a,
it's a gimmick,
you know?
So wait,
why do we need gimmicks?
I think we need to explore this.
So if you have,
if you have that scenario,
do you spend all your FAB early to know that you still have that?
Yeah.
I got my golden gun.
Yeah.
Well,
not all your FAB.
You're still going to need to pick up players,
but you can certainly be more aggressive,
but there could be point a point in time where Braylon Owens on the waiver
wire,
Ray Davis is on the waiver wire and you've got your golden gun.
Golden gun.
Are we calling it a golden gun?
If I put out a reference right here,
will you get this?
The golden goose?
I know what a golden goose is,
but what are you referencing?
What if I say it in this voice?
The golden goose?
No.
Your voice changes.
The goose that lays the golden eggs.
No,
I don't know that.
What is that?
Clay Davis from the wire.
Oh,
no,
I'm not a wire guy.
All right.
Uh,
this is a,
a week.
Oh,
a week one question.
She,
you know that one?
Bro,
will you stop?
That's,
that's Clay Davis.
If you're going to mention Clay Davis,
you have to do the,
the,
his,
his line.
Oh,
you have to.
Okay.
You have to do his lines.
Look at the chat.
The chat's going,
the chat knows you have to do it.
Oh gosh.
Okay.
Uh,
chat.
Speaking of chat,
if you have any questions,
let's do it.
Bird in a Buka or Parker Washington this week.
Washington for me.
A Buka for me.
If Nico Collins is out Hutchinson,
Wicks or Andrews.
I go Andrews,
especially flowers though.
Let's see if we got anything new.
Um,
yeah,
I was thinking Wicks.
I did kind of like the role for him.
It's it's even though it's like,
Oh,
it was a little fluky.
Not really.
He was using it.
Oh wow.
We have an update.
Sorry,
Nico,
not expected to play.
Oh God.
All right.
That's a surprise.
Still don't love.
He's not out Frank in the chat.
He's not expected to play.
Uh,
Michael was not seen during the start of practice.
Who Michael Pittman.
Wow.
Oh wow.
A golden ticket is a,
maybe a better word than golden gun.
I don't know.
Um,
golden goose,
non PPR start to flowers.
Ted.
Well,
you don't call him.
He don't like Ted,
Ted or old McMillan Watson waddle neighbors.
Yikes.
Alec Pierce back at practice.
Good.
Okay.
I'm going to start flowers.
If he plays the others to me are neighbors and McMillan neighbors and Watson neighbors
and Watson for me.
Yeah.
Non PPR.
Oh,
non PPR.
I wouldn't bench neighbors at any point from this point on.
Yeah.
I would say it's neighbors.
Watson flowers.
If he plays neighbors,
Watson McMillan,
it flowers up.
Okay.
Coker or Odun say Coker.
Yeah.
Coker for sure.
They're traded rice and Loveland for Kincaid and neighbors.
Love that trade.
Love,
love,
love that rice and Loveland for Kincaid and neighbors.
That's a huge,
as it gets,
I would have been a horrible trade.
I would have been a horrible trade on draft day.
So are we overreacting here?
According to who?
Oh,
according to average draft position where rice and neighbors were basically back to back
and Loveland was eight rounds ahead of rice rate to his ADP.
Yeah.
So I don't,
I don't know that this is a great trade.
I mean,
are we buying,
how much are we buying dolls and Kincaid?
He could be tight in two.
I saw a stat Jacob put up last night and it was,
um,
let me,
let me quote this cause it's a great stat and people will be interested in it.
Let me get the actual stat.
But as I do that,
I'll filibuster this by saying,
rice is probably the player.
Not that I have him rostered in a single league and I have 27 leagues or rice is
the probably a player.
I'm most nervous will actually not be good,
but this season,
like everything looked bad,
but I'm actually have the stat now.
Um,
Dalton Cade has 225 receiving yards through two,
through two games.
The second,
most of any tight end through two weeks dating back to 2000.
And he also had a stat earlier about the people who have actually done this
players with 200 plus routes who average more yards per outrun than Kincaid
last season,
was just Puka and JS.
And it's basically,
if this guy is healthy,
he's amazing.
He could straight up be better than Colston love on the rest of the season.
And then neighbors over rice is just the most easy when you can find my mind.
I mean,
I,
I get it.
I just,
are we ignoring his yards per outrun in the first two seasons of his career?
Because last year was his best yards per outrun.
And he,
he,
he had like 40 targets or something like that.
So I,
I pretty much buy into him because he was hurt though.
Maybe,
but yeah,
I mean,
and the other thing is like his snap share was way down.
It was 77% in week one Dalton gate.
I didn't see what last night's was,
but that was the most,
that would have been the most from last season,
I believe,
or last night was about 72%.
I think.
Yeah.
Now that he's over the 70% mark,
like he's locked in and the neighbors are just racing.
I mean,
rice,
who knows what's going to happen there,
but I think he could be the biggest bust in all of fantasy.
That's what I was saying.
Look,
you were saying that.
I know I listened to the show with a panic meter and it seems like Keith was
not worried about him.
Which is understandable.
I do not think he will be just fine.
He'll be better than he was this week.
Cause obviously he lucked and fluked into a touchdown.
That was just poor tackling,
but the route depth,
the target depth was up.
The,
the way he's being used is not good at all.
So far.
So far.
Right.
And the cheese passing game just looked off.
So that's understandable.
My home's coming back,
but rice is not like,
if rice isn't getting those,
the role he had last year,
he's not good for fantasy.
Okay.
Yeah.
I'm glad I'm not the only one is concerned here.
Josh downs or Keith.
Caleb Douglas.
uh douglas if pierce doesn't play pierce is gonna play he's backpacked okay he needs especially
given the comment the upside that's one to your question the previous show adam douglas versus
downs i would take the upside of douglas i'm chasing looks so good by the way did you want
either of you watch that from the tape on him he looked freaking really good at separating yeah
but you know who else did josh downs did yeah josh down always looks good but that offense is
gonna be horrible against the chiefs would you drop tony pollard or bo nicks i have trevor lawrence
for calon black chris bell or similar upside essentials next if you have trevor lawrence
there's no point to having nicks i see the waivers and i want to calon black drop nicks for him
lad mccarthy oh sit one rice lad our lads probably not gonna play but
assuming he does play sit rice lad remandre or parker washington i'll save rice
i would sit remandre in half ppr if lad plays
dac or daniels dac for me yeah dac can we hear dan's wedding speech
there's i'm not giving a speech i'm just like i have given a lot of speeches at weddings though
price or scataboo price or scataboo i'd go scataboo
um yeah you gotta go scataboo there hey bird and her neighbors
neighbors neighbors yeah that picture is great i hate that picture i wish it was scrub from the
internet aaron jones or tony pollard aaron jones aaron jones dalton schultz or juwan johnson
schultz uh
yeah schultz i guess would you drop alec pierce for marvin harrison jr
no um no would you rather start purdy or
caleb williams caleb party for me last one chris godwin or jaylen coker godwin coker last one
burden or evans non-ppr evans evans last one saquon and hampton or mccaffrey and tootin
rest of season saquon and hampton for me uh yeah all right thank you guys very much
have a great weekend what's your what's your best line at one of your wedding speeches
good question i've made two wedding speeches both went over pretty well so i made one
one for my friend mike who's actually here this weekend was one of i was the technically not the
best man but his brother didn't want to give a speech whatever then went for my brother which
probably has the best lines i think my brother married um someone with the last name mulligan
so i had a good mulligan joke in there i'm trying to remember it now with golf
practicing yep oh good maybe you'll play oh is there a mulligan joke
i'm trying um it was about a recommendation cara gave us
when me and my brother went on a trip to austin where she lived and it was something like
everybody gets a mulligan type of thing the recommendation stopped it was like for a really
bad direction like she liked it but we hated it that's awesome i my i gave a speech for my best
friend and he just happens to like really like stupid bravo reality tv shows um and i won't say
his name i guess but i'll just make up a name i'll call him dan i'll be like uh you know
everybody's been praising dan all week saying all these great things about him but i figured
like let's say like the most embarrassing thing i remember i was like dan watches more bravo tv shows
than andy cohen and it brought the house down that's great then i went to this whole thing
about how when they get back from their honeymoon they're gonna be watching the real housewives of
tulsa oklahoma season six whatever like whatever it's always good when you have a theme yeah you
need a theme uh i wanted to share one thing before i left check this out if you're in the fft open and
you go to your home page on the website not on the app on top it says tournament okay click on that
and you can see the high scores you can see all the scores for the week i'll work on we'll work
on trying to get this so it's that full season long standings but right now like one guy has 87
fantasy points in thomas's division uh so you can see how you stack up with everyone in the fft open
across all 36 divisions let's see we're all
three of us are at after week one well no this is only week two this is only thursday
uh so like i'll we'll work on getting this to be season long but what's my team name business ethics
um i had 35 points so okay uh that's jared goff and dj moore yeah well yeah um anyway it's cool
feature if you want to see the high scores it'll be really cool this is mostly created for the
playoffs when everyone's in different leagues and you can't see the scores
we created this for that very reason but we'll see if we can get it to show
uh the uh season-long standings and scores thank you everybody have a great day have
a great weekend we'll talk to you on sunday morning 11 a.m eastern for a game of the week
