Week 2 Fantasy Football Trade Targets: Players to Buy, Sell & Hold (Ep. 2193)

The podcast begins with a promotional segment announcing Burger King’s new chicken nuggets and sauces, emphasizing improved taste, crispiness, and a limited-time Special Savory Sauce. Transitioning to fantasy football, the hosts analyze a pivotal Monday Night Football game between the Chiefs and Broncos, highlighting Kenneth Walker’s dominant performance and the Broncos’ defensive collapse due to 28 missed tackles. This leads into a broader trade strategy discussion, where the hosts stress the importance of identifying injury risks—like AJ Brown, Zay Flowers, and Ladd McConkey—and making trades that benefit both teams, not just maximize personal gains. They recommend buying players such as Drake London (due to quarterback instability) and O'Marion Hampton (despite a poor game) based on their potential for volume and schedule advantages. Bashel Tootin is also highlighted as a buy due to strong performance against a vulnerable defense. Conversely, Travis Achan and Carnell Tate are flagged for sale due to red zone inefficiency and offensive instability. The episode concludes with a reminder that successful fantasy management involves long-term thinking, risk assessment, and adaptability to evolving team dynamics, especially with injuries and shifting game plans. The hosts emphasize that trade decisions should be driven by team needs and future matchups rather than short-term trends or market fluctuations.

This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed human. Attention, chicken nugget fans. Burger King heard that a lot of you didn't like the old chicken nuggets, so they got to work and reinvented them. These new chicken nuggets are their tastiest, crispiest, juiciest nuggets ever. And because better chicken nuggets deserve better sauces, they've reinvented several of their sauces. And they created a brand new one, the new Special Savory Sauce, which is only available for a limited time at participating U.S. restaurants. Don't wait around. You got to try the new Burger King chicken nuggets today. Hello, everybody. Welcome into the Fantasy Pros Football Podcast. I'm Ryan Warmly, joined by Andrew Erickson for our Tuesday show. We obviously don't do this for week one because it's trades and buys and sells. It doesn't really make sense ahead of week one. But ahead of week two, we are kicking things off for the season on Tuesday mornings with Erickson and myself. We're coming off of a very interesting Monday night. Football game. I was telling you, Erickson, before the show that I only watched most of the first half. I didn't quite finish the second quarter. I had to leave the house, go do some other stuff last night. But I was following along with the box score. And holy cow, Kenneth Walker. I mean, he already was like it was very interesting game from him before I left. And then it just got even more exciting for anybody who invested in Walker. You were also telling me before the show, Erickson, that you saw a stat that there were 28 missed tackles from the Broncos, which is also astonishing. I want to start off with this game. We're not going to talk. We're going to talk about Monday night football every single week. But this, of course, was, I thought, compelling enough that we want to hit on it a little before we get into our buys and sells. Besides like just holy cow, Kenneth Walker, what can you say about this Monday night football game? I mean, the Chiefs offense. Kenneth Walker, he was the engine. He was everything that they wanted to do, especially from the jump. If you just look at the first drive for the Kansas City Chiefs, it was all Ken Walker, all running up the middle, running out to the outside with Ken Walker. Which is very, very different from what we've seen in this past happy Chiefs offense, traditionally under Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. So they really are adjusting on the fly. I think considering the personnel that they have, they don't have the greatest array of wide receivers. Travis Kelsey is an older tight end. And Kenneth Walker is the guy they spent big money in free agency. And yeah, I mean, when you look at who made the biggest moves in the offseason, Ken Walker signing in Casey was obviously a massive move. And they saw the return on their investment immediately. With this just absolute monster game. And then, of course, on the other side, Chandler Waddle does absolutely nothing after the Broncos traded a first-run pick to get him on their roster. So two very different outcomes for these two teams. Mahomes had a rushing touchdown, which was really good. The fact that he didn't look like he was being hindered by his ACL injury, I thought was really encouraging for him rest of season. Now, the passing game still has work to do with just the general receivers that the Chiefs have. But back to the Broncos defense. 28 missed tackles, 247 yards after missed tackles. According to next-gen stats, the most yards allowed by any defense in a game after missed tackles since 2018. Eight defensive players on the Broncos missed multiple tackles. And it was comical, dude. Like, Rushy Rice had two targets. He caught one for a touchdown because the guy just bounced off of Rushy Rice. And he just, like, rumbled into the end zone. Travis Kelsey had one of his longest catches of his NFL career. 38-year-old Travis Kelsey. Kelsey just rumbling down the field because the Broncos could not tackle anybody. And, of course, when you are going against a running back like Ken Walker, yeah, that guy is going to definitely make it tough for your defense. But it wasn't just Ken Walker. I mean, every one of the Chiefs with the ball in their hands was dominating this Broncos defense. And offensively, Bo Nix, Davis Webb, that marriage did not look like it was in sync whatsoever. He played rattled. He was under pressure, not making the right reads. And the fact that Waddle really wasn't involved, he was under pressure. And the fact that Waddle wasn't involved was very, very strange. I think only three targets. And he also had a drop. It felt very, like, there's a lot of jokes on Sunday about with the Chargers. Oh, the fell for it again award offseason champs. I feel like I deserve a fell for it again award in terms of trusting Sean Payton for fantasy managers. Like Jonah Coleman, he was talking up all summer. Oh, we've seen enough. We don't even have to play him anymore. So he became a very popular late round sleeper. You know, Jalen Waddle. Obviously somebody that a lot of people here at fantasy pros are very excited about and what his role could be in the new offense. And then, you know, you come through and look at the box score and just in watching the game, you're right. It feels out of sync. And, you know, they had the early touchdown to Evan Ingram was a nice drive. But besides that, like you get three points the rest of the game. And I know the Chiefs defense is sort of revamped this offseason. But like Mansour Delane went out in this game. So you don't even have that key piece after the early interception. I know this is in arrow. A lot of excitement with the moms coming back. I tell you what I kind of felt Erickson and then we'll get into the trades after this is. I felt like this is sort of the bow. The final bow put on a week one of the bullies are back. And by that, I mean last season, Josh Allen was in the playoffs. But obviously, once again, didn't make it to the Super Bowl. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens really like inexplicably down year. Lots of injuries. Bad season. The Chiefs. Inexplicably down year. Mahomes gets hurt at the end of the season. Terrence is ACL. All this stuff. It very much felt to me. And it's only week one. Things could totally change. It felt to me like we are sort of back to where we were, you know, two to four years ago for that few year stretch of the AFC is owned by some combo of Chiefs, Bills and Ravens as the three juggernauts. And again, we'll see what happens in January. We'll see what happens in October. Right. It's a long season. But that was kind of how I felt watching these three teams. Like, oh, we're kind of back. We're back to status quo in the AFC from what we've seen for the earlier part of this decade. Big dogs are back. That's exactly how I would look at that type of analysis that you just kind of laid out there. Would say that I think the Ravens drew the easiest of the three opponents in week one. And the Saints will probably be a decent layup for them. But again, what the Ravens did offensively, they looked unstoppable with a flowers when he was healthy and even in the second half. So I do think that that is a good note to make that. Yeah. The top dogs. I would agree with them having the easiest opponent, although I don't think the Colts are going to prove to be an easy opponent this season. I think they're just a very average team. And the Ravens made them look well below average. It wasn't like they were facing the Dolphins or the Browns or anybody like that. There's still other good teams. They see. I'm not saying that, like, the conference race is over or anything, but. And to tie a bow on week one, which we saw tied for the highest scoring week one ever in NFL history or since the merger. What's interesting, though? Is the four primetime games all went under their projected totals every single primetime game, which I thought was kind of a curious nugget when you're looking at it from a betting angle, looking at the projected totals, all the one o'clock games, four o'clock games, just shoot out after shoot out. So just another interesting nugget there from week one as we now get ready for week two. Let's get ready for week two by diving into our trade strategy show. We're going to give you some buys, some sells. We'll emphasize this throughout. We'll emphasize this throughout the episode, but I just want to say it at the top of the episode because I said this a lot last year. I think it's relatively easy to point out buy lows and sell highs, generally speaking, in fantasy. I think what is a trickier skill and sometimes the more valuable skill is being able to point out the buy highs and the sell lows, the guys that are already going in that direction that you want to lean into. We're going to have both throughout the episode. We're not just doing one or the other, but I just wanted to mention that because you often see podcast episodes out there and articles about buy lows and sell highs. I think the reverse of the buy highs and sell lows are often even more compelling to discuss. So we're going to have those sprinkled in as well. We're going to kick off this show. Erickson is with you giving some higher level macro levels, trade strategy and advice that you are thinking about this week. It can be about a type of manager you are looking at when trying to make trades. It can be a type of player you are trying to identify. It can just be one player that you are so all in on. However you want to approach this. What is your 30,000 foot view trade strategy advice for? We're heading into week two. It takes two to tango worm. You can't do the tango solo as much as I'd love that. Love to dance. I wouldn't dream of it. The reason I bring that up when it comes to the trade advice column this week is because sometimes we too often get hyper focused on. I got to trade this player. I got to get this player. I got to upgrade at this position, etc. Whereas it's a lot easier if you look at. Certain managers in your league and help them identify what their team needs and the easiest way to do that because there's no sugarcoating. If you drafted AJ Brown, you drafted Zay Flowers, you drafted Ladd McConkey, yeah, you need a wide receiver because those guys are all hurt in some capacity. Obviously, Brown is out for the longest amount of time. Zay Flowers doesn't look like it's going to be necessarily long term. It is a hamstring injury and Ladd McConkey is dealing with a rib injury. Also, we have some quarterback injuries as well when it comes to the super flex drafts like Kyler Murray, who's going to be out there. Sam Darnold, who's going to be out, so I think that targeting these managers with deals to help them fill the voids of their roster is a really good strategy because they're just more willing to make a deal because they have to overcome a certain injury, especially if they didn't draft depth behind those certain players. So I think just easiest thing to do this week, find the AJ Brown manager, right? We know he's going to be out for the longest. He has the biggest injury from week one in terms of being on the short term injured reserve. So I would approach that manager. And try to make a deal this week. I think that. that's fair and you know just just quickly on the takes to the tango point like i it is very easy i think in the age of um like trade analyzers online of which i think fantasy pros has a wonderful one that i would highly encourage everybody to use as part of my playbook but uh it's it's not perfect in the sense that it you still need the other manager to actually want to do the trade you can't just say oh look the value is correct here or oh hey in dynasty you should be rebuilding here based on this or you know that we line up perfectly according to this tool whether it's fantasy pros tool or not like like you do need i wouldn't even say like negotiation in terms of that as a skill or like like um being able to like manipulation it sounds too skeevy what i'm trying to say is like you need to make sure that you and the other manager are on the same page about these players values these players time like you need to make sure that you and the other manager your team needs everything like that and that to me is a real skill just beyond finding value or identifying a good player to go after so that takes you to tango point i think is really important because it's very easy to forget that in the age of trade calculators online or in the age of like everybody's played madden and can just go go you know make any trade accepted anything like that i think it's easy it's easy to forget that so i think it's a worthwhile point yeah i think that the goal of the trade is never just to i just gotta swindle all these people because that's not what it's right with you if you just try to get always the best deal you always have to win every single trade guys breaking news here both teams can win the trade it is very possible and honestly i think should be your goal more often than not to make both teams making the deal better and making every the 10 other managers in your league annoyed because two teams just got better because they made a transaction that benefited both parties so again be open to the idea that you don't need to just sell high on a player you don't need to just sell high on a player that's an obvious hell high or vice versa because you need to get rid of the certain player but use trades to make two rosters in your league better the goal is not to win the trade the goal is to make your team better and you can do that by taking a quote-unquote value hit you can do that by finding you know you know whatever it is like i i just the goal is to make your team better it's not to be able to post on social media look at this trade i just got away with can you believe how dumb the co-manager is like that's there's those are two different types of trading and there's there's one that we prefer here for sure football is back folks and it's time to level up your approach to the nfl and college football this season because polymarket is here polymarket is a legal prediction market now available in all 50 states and unlike traditional sports books on polymarket you can trade on all things football from the saturday and sunday slates to who wins the heisman to who performs the halftime show polymarket gives you the freedom to cash out instantly if the momentum swings you can sell it off in real time you are in control no one can lock you out you can also buy in anytime so when the market dips you can buy in anytime you can buy in anytime you can buy in anytime like if a team starts slow and drops to say 40 that's not a loss that's when you buy in at polymarket you can buy cheap and ride the momentum back up polymarket is so confident you'll never go back to the old way they're issuing a challenge they are giving you a 50 bonus when you deposit just ten dollars sign up right now with promo code fppod that's polymarket.us and use promo code fppod to get a 50 bonus when you deposit just ten dollars all right eric so we're going to start on the positive side with some players that we are buying right now you've got two i've got one who is your player to buy i'm gonna go with drake london wide receiver for the atlanta falcons obviously coming off a terrible game with cooper rush as the falcons quarterback on the road against the pittsburgh steelers predictably drake london struggled in this certain contest but i think it's still not up for debate who the clear-cut alpha number one wide receiver and past target in the falcons roster it's drake london still played 98.2 of the snaps out participation did see five targets so trailing only bijan robinson in the falcons offense still a strong 21 target share so two guys for 29 yards is obviously terrible but there's hope at the light of the tunnel for these falcons team in the passing game at least from a drake london perspective in my opinion and that's in the form of michael pennix jr because the upside case with london was always if michael pennix jr would take over the starting job and once he was healthy because if you look over the last two seasons london was nearly eclipsing 20 fantasy points per game in full ppr 92 receiving yards 11 targets per game with michael pennix jr as his quarterback over the last two seasons so the fact that you can now get drake london cheaper than you drafted him and the thesis of the play of drake london and his upside remains the same i think that this just makes a lot of sense especially if you are one of these teams hurting out wide receiver if you have a lad injury or zay or an aj brown drake london is someone that i'm targeting especially with all my aj brown rosters that i'm targeting especially with all my aj brown rosters that i'm targeting especially with all my aj brown rosters that need some wide receiver firepower that i'm willing to invest even if michael pennix jr doesn't play in week two or week three i know eventually he is going to be healthy enough to play and you're going to see drake london flirt with wide receiver one numbers when he's on our center we talked uh earlier this week actually with d bro on the tailgate about how drake like i view drake london and kyle pitts and everybody not named bjohn rhombus in the falcons as very sitable right now like even if you invested a lot of draft capital in these guys that you should be willing to sit them for as long as michael pennix isn't the starting quarterback um but you made the good point on that show and again here that just because we are really nervous about him for the next one to three weeks like however long it is that pennix is not the quarterback that's not the whole season and there will be a bounce back that we we expect once pennix is healthy on the field again and we've seen that in the past that those two can have a strong connection for fantasy managers let me throw a one for one at you because they're back to back in the consensus rest of rankings on fantasypros.com right now zay flowers or drake london who would you rather have rest of season flowers dealing with the hamstring injury london dealing with the quarterback uncertainty both maybe won't be dealing with those respective issues as of a couple of weeks from now it remains to be seen on both um but they are 10th and 11th in rest of season rankings obviously there was a bigger gap during draft season as of right now who do you like better i'll take the burden hand with zay flowers if that even makes sense well when you said burden the hand i was like does he mean the ravens or the falcons that's that's why i did it because i knew i was gonna stump you with that because they're both bird teams but zay flowers is my guy all draft season i can't jump off the flowers bandwagon because he's got a little tightness in his hamstring obviously it concerns me but i dude how many yards would say flowers have gone for if he didn't get hurt in the first half of that game i mean he was on pace for over 300 that wouldn't have held in all likelihood but probably but we can dream can't we 200 yards maybe would have been in the range of outcomes so the fact that london still may have some lower end production with the quarterback issues in atlanta until we see michael panics jr versus say flowers maybe missing some time i'm more confident right now that zay flowers attached to lamar jackson is potentially supernova type of play so i'm willing to wait on zay flowers so i will take zay flowers in that particular situation but i don't think you need to pay a cost of potentially like as a flowers to get someone like drake on because the sentiment around this team is just so bad the falcons oh my god they're so bad the quarterback is so bad everything is so bad when michael panics jr can actually really be a big lifter to this offense and to just in generally speaking doing this trade show with you over the years worm i've noticed that any time that we get a wide receiver an elite wide receiver quarterback gets hurt i think the process always says just go buy that receiver because it seems like more often than not the volume triumphs and comes through now this isn't 100 hit rate justin jefferson obviously is the bear case from last year but remember last year with jamar chase you're not going to be able to buy that receiver because you're not going to be able to buy that dude joe burrow went down i was on the sign of i want to trade jamar chase i want to get out of this business and that was wrong because jamar chase just ended up seeing insane amount of volume from joe flacco as the quarterback so i think there's going to be a way where drake london is going to be fine he's going to get a ton of volume as the clear-cut number one in this offense and i think that when in doubt when an elite receiver loses his starting quarterback you just buy low and i think that works out more often than not i want to throw a running back at you like as sort of a head-to-head because obviously receiver is more just about the rankings i think a running back for a receiver is a more common type of a trade so like i'm looking here if you look strictly at like rb11 versus wide receiver 11 that would be like devon achan straight up for drake london if you look a little bit lower if that feels like a lot for you guy like giovante williams breeze hall deandre swift kyron williams jeremiah love that might start to be getting too low to get it done just depending on if the manager of drake london is thinking the same way you are or not didn't do any of those names stick out to you as a fair deal for both sides did you mention achan achan is the first achan's rb11 and drake london's wide receiver 11 so that would be sort of like lining up those two things travis achan oh no i'm sorry devon achan is rb11 achan is rb18 he's the next guy after jeremiah love okay i think that's probably more of the department i'd be looking to ship off because running backs more scarce of a position so you definitely want to make sure you're getting a lot back i guess you can probably try to trade a tier down and running back to get a receiver like a drake london especially if you're considering buying low on this particular player so i think that travis achan would probably be that'd be more of the range i'd be looking to deal for london and again you could also just wait another week you get another cooper rush start the price is going to keep going down on somebody like drake london even though you should be more optimistic because the more weeks they go by closer to sooner yes the sooner that we get so it is trying to find the perfect time to strike here with london because pennix is going to be coming back sooner rather than later yeah uh Yeah, I'll go to my player to buy here. It's another guy who was going kind of in that round two range during drafts. It's O'Marion Hampton. And this is like, I don't actually know that I have my finger quite on the pulse of what the fantasy community at large is thinking about Hampton specifically. Obviously, everybody is very disappointed with week one from the Chargers. Knock a lot of people out of their survivor pools. And it just looked really bad. Like Herbert did not look good. The marriage between him and Mike McDaniel didn't look good. The offensive line didn't look good. The offense really took a step back once Ladd McConkie was out of the game. And I just kind of want to plant my flag on, man, maybe I'm going to go down with the ship. I don't want to be out on this business yet. I want to still be investing in the McDaniel, Herbert, Harbaugh, you know, triumvirate here and trusting that we spent all summer thinking about this. And some people like, like Debro, for example, on some of our shows this summer was pushing back a little on, Hey, we're maybe out over our skis a bit on this Chargers offense. And his big point has been that he always felt like Mike McDaniel was maybe more of a Tyree kill merchant than we have been willing to admit in the past. I'm not ruling out that possibility, but I spent all summer really excited about this team. I'm not getting off of that from one bad game, especially in that bad game where their wide receiver one got hurt halfway through and they struggled to adjust. And I think Hampton is the guy. That's representative of that for me, because if you look at his performance in the game, like he did get the touchdown, but other than that, it wasn't. So I mean, 43 yards, it was like what? Three and a half yards per attempt. I think, yeah, 12, 12 carries 43 yards or 3.6 yards per attempt, zero targets. I mean, this was the first time that any fumbled, any fumbled. And this was also the first time that Herbert has not thrown to a, a running back in a game like all this stuff. I just felt like this was really weird. And I, I think it's a little bit of lazy is not the right word. It's a little too easy to just say, well, Hey, Patriots lost to the Raiders last year in week one. Like I know weird stuff happens in week one. It's not always as straightforward as a Superbowl representative loses to the team with the number one overall pick. Right? Like, like I'm not, I think it's, I think it's too easy to just point to that and say, well, well, weird stuff happens in week one. We'll just throw our hands up and it doesn't matter. This could matter. But to me, this matters more. In the sense of like, I don't think the Chargers defense is going to be nearly as good as it was last year. And I am a little worried about the offensive line. This is not, I want to get out of the business of these Chargers that we were so excited to invest in this summer. So Hampton to me is the one that's most representative of it because he had a bad game in every respect other than the touchdown. I think this could apply to a guy like Herbert. If you have a need, a quarterback, you know, or wherever, or wherever else you want to look with this team. But, but again, for me, Hampton, I would still pay this a same price as I would have a week ago to go acquire him. He's already 12 in the rest of season consensus rankings. That's dropped three spots since the games on Sunday. If you look at consensus, I'm very willing to still pay that like mid second round value, whatever that looks like in your eyes to go get him. If I need a running back, I'd rather be overly optimistic about this Chargers offense still as opposed to under optimistic about this. I don't want to be overly pessimistic about it. And if, again, if that means I go down with the ship, I'm okay with that quiet confidence. It's not what you see. It's what you feel a suit tailored just for you. Fastest based on analysis by Uclo Speed Test Intelligence data of national speed score results, incorporating 5g download and upload speeds for the first half of 2020, Okay, Chicken Nugget fans, I've got huge news. The new Burger King Chicken Nuggets just dropped, and they are the crispiest, the juiciest, and the tastiest Chicken Nuggets ever at Burger King. To go along with the new Chicken Nuggets, a lot of the sauces were reinvented, too, because better Chicken Nuggets deserve better sauces. We're talking new Buffalo Sauce, Honey Mustard, Sweet and Sour, and even a whole new option, too, the new Special Savory Sauce, which is only available for a limited time at participating U.S. restaurants. I mean, you need to taste it all for yourself. This new Chicken Nugget, reinvented based on real feedback, is made with 100% white meat chicken and is now. Better than ever. You got to try the new Burger King Chicken Nuggets and Sauces today. Next two weeks for the Chargers are the Raiders and the Bills. So, prime opportunities for someone like Omerian Hampton to run wild. So, that's kind of the angle I was always thinking in the back of my mind when it came to Omerian Hampton, because he missed half of his rookie season. A lot of projection with what his role would be, would there be another running back involved? Keaton Mitchell did get a little bit of run. The zero targets was probably the biggest concern in a game where they're trailing, and this quarterback who's been known for throwing the ball at running backs, a offensive play caller who's been known to dial up targets for running backs, zero targets. Keaton Mitchell actually technically had one target, but it was wiped away due to a penalty. So, that was just really, really weird. And maybe that's really where it's, okay, that's something that we can't take away too harshly. From week one, because that's not going to happen again. Especially the fact that Ladd didn't play fully in the second half, and they still had zero running back targets. Just very, very bizarre there. Hampton still scored the touchdown, because ultimately that's how Hampton pays off, where you draft him, is touchdowns. Touchdowns, yeah. Right, that's what he has to do. He has to score a bunch of touchdowns, and that role doesn't seem like it's going to be threatened, whether it's Keaton Mitchell or Kamani Vidal. And he scored in week one, in a bad performance by the Chargers offense. He ended up still scoring and still being a decent play for you in your lineup. So, the next two weeks? I think that if you have Hampton, maybe that's another discussion. You revisit it, because after week, or from week four onward, the Chargers schedule gets much tougher, where they have to play brutal defenses. So, maybe Hampton, we're talking about him entering week four as a sell high, after he scores four touchdowns in the next two weeks. But for right now, entering week two, with the sentiment around this Chargers offense being generally poor, I think that this is a sharp play, because of the price you have to pay to get Hampton. I think that schedule is an interesting point, too. Because, yes, the next two weeks seem very obvious. You know, there's a lot of talk, just in terms of national, like, not fantasy-specific analysis, but national analysis about the Chargers, in terms of, like, well, they better get this Vegas game now that they've lost to Arizona, because after that, it goes at Buffalo, at Seattle, home for Denver, at Kansas City, at the Rams, home for Houston, at Baltimore. There's a bye week in there, but besides that, there is no breaks. Those are the teams that they are facing the next several weeks. But the Bills, not that great against the defenses. We just saw what they allowed. To David Montgomery. Seattle's very good. Denver just had all these missed tackles and got run over by Kenneth Walker. You know, the Rams might not have Miles Garrett in that game. The Ravens, despite winning by a lot, still gave up a lot of fantasy points to Jonathan Taylor. So, like, maybe from the running back perspective, even though that is a very difficult stretch of schedules, maybe it ends up looking a little easier in hindsight than it feels like right now. So that's a possibility as well. Again, I'm willing to pay market price on Hampton, so if I can buy low on him, a little bit, I still think that's an upside swing that could be a league-winning trade, and that's what I'm looking for in week one. I can adjust if I make a bad trade this early. I want to make what I think could be a league-winning early trade, but based on another manager overreacting to week one. So that's the goal here, even though it's not guaranteed. I think that the targets is going to be a big shift, probably, in the next two weeks with Hampton and Mitchell, especially if Ladd is not 100% or if he misses time. It seemed like in week one, so much of the game, the plan was like, we're just going to use Ladd as our wide receiver in one and just have him rip up the defense, because that's what it looked like. To start the game, it was, oh man, Ladd's going to go for 200 yards in this game and just destroy the middle of this Cardinals defense, and they didn't really do a lot of game planning for using the running backs in the passing game, and then they didn't really have any answers. So I would project that Mike McDaniel is going to scheme up more of these running back targets, especially in week twos and week three against some of these defenses, so yeah. Give me another player to buy, Eric. Sticking to running backs here, I'm going to go with Bashel Tootin, who now gets to draw a really juicy matchup. Maybe it didn't look like that before. last night, Monday Night Football, but this Denver Broncos defense, is this buns against the running back position potentially off a short week? They're going to be licking their wombs playing the Jacksonville Jaguars, who last year went to Denver because the Broncos have been playing at home hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars. They went to Denver and destroyed the Broncos. 34 to 20, Trevor Lawrence diced up that Broncos secondary. So I think with Bajel Tootin, who I was impressed, probably isn't the right word, but I think that relatively speaking, week one was a win for him in the battle between Tootin and Chris Rodriguez, who's going to emerge as the Jaguars RB1. Relatively speaking, I think it was a win for him. Now, the one part that I didn't like was obviously Chris Rodriguez ended up getting the one goal line carry, one red zone touch out of this backfield for Jacksonville, but they were just so efficient. They didn't really spend a lot of time in the red zone. And a lot of those red zone drives ended with Trevor Lawrence to a bunch of different receivers. So it seems like Jacksonville might not have one particular player that scores the majority of their touchdowns. It'll probably kind of be spread out between all the depth they have, but everything else Tootin checked the boxes off of. He was the snap leader. He was the carry leader. He had 15 carries, played 48% of the snaps. He had one target, but he actually had another target that was removed by a penalty. So 17 total opportunities for a second year running back playing on a high powered offense, 88 yards from scrimmage. If he had just 12 more yards, right, we'd be talking Basial Tootin, 100 yards of scrimmage in his first game. And I feel like that would be a really high selling point for a player like Tootin. When you look at Chris Rodriguez, he played 40% of the snaps, but six carries for 23 yards. Woof. Nothing really special there besides the red zone touch. And of course, zero targets because Chris Rodriguez doesn't ever get targets. So Tootin, 4.3 yards after contact per attempt, he forced nine missed tackles. So the Denver Broncos better saddle up because they're going to be facing another running back that is really good at forcing missed tackles. So I think Basial Tootin right now, after not really popping in a big way, even though the Jaguars offense played well, I think this is a good opportunity to buy a starting running back on a high powered offense. Just quickly on the target point, like Tootin only had the one target. Abdullah had one. That was it as far as running backs go. So like I know Chris. No, he had two. No, he had, he had another one that was, uh, it was a penalty. Oh, okay. Okay. I was looking at the box here. I forgot the penalty one. Okay. Yeah. So a little bit more there. Still not a ton of throwing to the running backs though. Um, so it's not like Tootin was getting that where Rodriguez wasn't, but yeah, that's a fair, fair point. Um, I was curious when you put this into the show sheet, if you were going to tout him as a buy low or a buy high, because I came away from this game, very encouraged by the usage, even though the ending stat line, wasn't some huge fantasy day for Tootin. I was like, Oh, 15 carries. Like I was really worried about Chris Rodriguez, not worried. I was excited about him as a late round flyer, right? Like I thought, you know, the connection with Liam Cohen and what we might see the usage be now the part of the usage that I was most excited about for Rodriguez was goal line carry. So maybe that will still pan out in the future in that regard and be a frustration for the Tootin manager, but 15 carries out of only 25 carries for the running backs total in this game. Like that's 60%. He had over half of the carries for anybody in this game. Uh, I thought this was really encouraging from Basial Tootin and I didn't invest in him at all. I didn't invest in him at all. I didn't he just felt risky at a spot in drafts where I was more interested in receivers. If I took that risk or if, or if anybody listening took that risk, I would feel pretty good about where he's at. And if you think that anybody is looking at his game and saying, Oh, we're more nervous than we are encouraged, then I totally agree. I would be going to look and buy. Like, I don't know that I want to pay up and like use the phrase by a high, I guess, I guess there's maybe like a buy medium, if that makes sense. Like, cause it's not, I think, I think that's what makes it a deal that you can get done. Because it's not an obvious buy high or buy low type of scenario. It's just, Hey, I wanted to kind of see Basial Tootin in week one, see how this backfield shakes out. Obviously he didn't explode for three touchdowns like half the other running backs did in week one. So that works in his favor that he's not being the most talked about running back. I think that's kind of the reason why, where I was probably underselling his performance. Cause you were saying, yeah, I was like more impressed with Basial Tootin, but I guess relative to every other running back this week, that just like absolutely went nuclear. Basial Tootin's 88 scoreless yards as playing under 50% of the snaps. Doesn't really pop off the page as much, but maybe that's why he can be acquired, especially after what we saw from Denver last night, where their defense couldn't stop anybody. Now their defense probably, obviously he's not going to play historically bad every single week, but it is an opportunity where it looked like a bad matchup on paper. Maybe not so much hitting into week two. Rest of the season, would you rather have Basial Tootin or Cam Scadavu? I think I'm going with Cam Scadavu. What about Tootin or Price? I'm going with Basial Tootin there, because the Jeter, Dan Price thing is, it just seems like it's going to be Ken Walker, 2.0 all over again, where it's just going to be so, so annoying. And the Zach Charbonnet thing concerns me because Zach Charbonnet's allegiance with the Seattle Seahawks is completely different in my opinion than Chris Rodriguez's allegiance in the Jacksonville Jaguars room, where we've already seen right now. I mean, I would be interested to see the stark difference between what Tootin got in week one versus Rodriguez, comparing that to Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet all of last season. Because if I look at just the touch distribution and opportunity distribution, Basial Tootin probably already had one of the highest gaps that we really never saw from Ken Walker at all last year in Seattle. So that's my concern with Price. Again, not to say Price didn't look good. I thought that he looked really, really good and he should get more opportunities, but we've seen the Seattle coaching staff. I know it's a coordinator, but with Mike McDonald, like they like to feature a bunch of guys and they love, love, love Zach Charbonnet. So that does concern me about Price rest of the season versus Tootin. Never wonder if you're winning a trade again. Talked about him earlier as a piece to move to potentially acquire someone like Drake London. I was really high on Achan heading into week one thinking, okay, he's got the Detroit Lions. They got a banged up defense. He should smash here in a game with a really high total. There's no Alvin Kamara, so he should see all of the backfield touches. I was very, very discouraged. What's the word? Uncouraged? Not happy with. You had it right the first time. Uncouraged by Travis Achan's workload in this particular matchup. Now, the targets in the catches are what really pops off here. So, seven catches on nine official, 11 unofficial targets when you talk about two that were erased by penalties. Nineteen percent target share. That was second among all the Saints pass catchers behind only Chris Olave. So, really heavily involved as a pass catcher, which is awesome to see. But the fact that they took him out at the goal line in the red zone is what concerns me the most. Kendrick Miller is the one that ended up scoring the touchdown for the Saints out of their backfield because they just didn't use Achan in that role. And this is something that has been one of Achan's weaknesses over the last two seasons. He has not been a good red zone running back. He has not been effective at the red zone. And the Saints have already shown their cards, shown their hand here with week one of not considering him as their featured goal line back concerns me about his season long outlook. And he got his fantasy points through receiving in this particular game. Does that stay steady when Alvin Kamara comes back when you had Jordan Tyson now a bigger part of this passing attack? So, that's where I get concerned about Achan and his rest of season rank in terms of do I really want to rely on him? Again, we talked about all the dead zone running backs that hit. Achan to me did not feel like one of one. And I felt like before week one played out, he had the perfect run. He had the red carpet with no Kamara in the ball in the offense in a really good matchup. So, that's what concerns me. And the fact too, they use CJ Donaldson in short yardage situations, a undrafted rookie free agent running back, which I thought was very, very bizarre. So, Achan for me stocked down and someone that I would be looking to potentially shop. Do you feel like you mentioned the other dead zone running backs? Is maybe by comparison making you feel a little lower on Achan? Like you look at the names, if you look at like from the real-time ADP, the last update we had right before drafts, Achan was in the same range as Brees Hall. He was going ahead of DeAndre Swift, Cam Scadaboo. Like these are guys who, you know, David Montgomery about a round later. These are guys who had huge weak ones in some cases, or at the very least very good weak ones for all those guys. Bucky Irving in that range as well. Do you feel like it's like just relative to those guys? You feel worse about Achan or even a vacuum? Are you still feeling like I want to get out of the Achan business? Kind of both. It doesn't make me feel better about Achan knowing that there were running backs, two or three picks behind him that all did better in week one and also projected to be better for the rest of the season. It just seemed like Achan really had a great opportunity from the jump to take this RB1 role and explode, especially given the matchup against the Detroit Lions. But now you're going on the road here. You can only get so far just catching a bunch of check down passes. I love that for PPR purposes, but the other thing to point out too about A-Chan in this particular game, so his best carry of the game of 18 yards came on a draw play in the fourth quarter with less than 30 seconds remaining in the game. So you look at the box score and I think that he's over five yards per carry. So you're thinking, oh man, A-Chan had a great game. He was effective as a rusher, caught a bunch of passes, didn't find the end zone. But okay, sometimes there are running backs that don't have these massive red zone roles, which I think is going to be a problem with A-Chan and his upside. But if you remove that carry in kind of a Lions were kind of playing a prevent defense look, he would finish the game with eight carries for 28 yards, 3.5 yards per carry, which is really, really uninspiring. So yeah, just was not, again, I was really high on A-Chan as one of these running backs you could get in the dead zone that could kind of overcome it. But after week one, I'm ready to say, nope, that's not the guy that I wanted. There were other running backs I wish I had taken instead, or I'm glad that I waited to take on. And, you know, John Drey Swift around later, Javante Williams, a couple of picks before. So I think that the fact that he's not coming off like a terrible game, like he's still, you know, caught a bunch of passes. The Saints offense scored a bunch of points because the Detroit Lions, maybe you can still use that as a reason to trade him. It's funny because I mentioned the running backs that were near him in ADP by the end of draft season. Well, but if, but if you look at the non running backs who were around him, the two guys on either side of him in the overall ADP were T. Inns, Jalen Waddle ahead of him, and then Rishi Rice and Colston Loveland behind. So maybe he wasn't such a bad pick if you were not going running back or if you really wanted to go running back at that range, because there were some other options that were not so great at other positions. My player to sell is Carnell Tate. And this is not about the player. I still am a firm believer in Tate's talent. I deserving top 10 pick. Like I think Carnell Tate is a very, I don't know if he's ever going to be a lead, but I think he's a very good. NFL receiver when he's at his best, when he gets there. This is totally reflective of the offense. And we have talked a lot about this offense already with you, me and Debro. So I would encourage everybody to check out the tailgate this week with our week one reactions. If you want to hear more about that, I just think like this is a, this is a panic fire sale. Like I do not want to be in the Tennessee Titans business this, this season. Cam Ward looked really discouraging to me in that game. The whole offense did. They didn't have much of a running game. And this is against a jets team that dude, like six months ago, we were all making jokes. Like, is there any coach more pre-fired than Aaron Glenn? Like, I'm not even saying that, like, I'm suddenly a believer in the jets here, but this was not some juggernaut team that the Titans were having to deal with in week one. And they got the doors blown off them. And the offense didn't look good at all. Carnell Tate led the team were tied for leading the team in targets with six. He was tied with Wanda Robinson. He had four catches for 38 yards, obviously no touchdown. I don't really know how it gets better unless Cam Ward just becomes a different quarterback and this offense becomes a different offense going forward. And I would rather somebody else bet on that. And I get something back for Tate while there's still optimism, as opposed to going down with that ship, right? There are some ships I'm willing to go down with. This is not one of them. And one of the reasons that I highlighted it, because I think everybody's sitting here really nervous. About the Titans, at least the people I've talked to. The reason I wanted to actually bring him up on the show and really emphasize this is as a general rule, it is so smart to invest in slow starting, highly drafted rookie receivers. That is a great business model to be in, in fantasy. You know, I keep using the word business, but that's a great strategy. Generally speaking, is to these guys who are drafted early. Wait, see if they have a slow start. And then that second half breakout, especially for the really talented guys who go very early in the NFL draft. I still believe Cardinal Tate is that type of player, but I don't think this is that type of offense. So I want to highlight him and say, I know that's really smart. Usually, I don't think it'll be smart this year. I want to get out from Cardinal Tate while people are still going to buy into the first round wide receiver rookie narrative that has become so, so prominent lately. So where are you at? I know you're low on the offense, but where are you at on Tate specifically as a, as a sell low? Low on the offense. I don't think I'm as low as Hugh or Debro is because I, I still want to provide the context that Jets obviously was a good matchup in the Titans offense did not look good whatsoever. They did not look good in the preseason, which I didn't want to necessarily read too much into, but when it comes to regular season games, yeah, I got to read, I got to read into it. And I got to react to, you know, what we've seen from this Titans offense. It's still a work in progress, of course, but I mean, it's just the first game, right? Drake may look terrible in his first game with Josh McDaniels as offensive coordinator. So there's going to be growing pains. And I, I still think that in the longterm, I would rather have Cardinal Tate. What are you going to trade him for? Oh, coming off a three, a three catch game for 34 yards. I just don't think I, I like having him on my bench as a bench wide receiver because of the talent that you just talked about. He's a top five overall pick in the NFL draft. And I mean, Robert Sala was talking about how he was impressed by what Tate did versus what did in the preseason. He sees a player that's continuing to get better and get better. So I get the matchups are terrible for the Tennessee Titans. But if you're looking at potentially negative game script, you could see Tate running into some volume here. It's good thing that he, in his first NFL game, he tied for the team leading targets, right? It was not Wanda Robinson. So I think that actually works in Tate's favor when you're kind of going beyond the box score of just the surface level. He had this many catches in this many yards. Like first game, he is the number one target leader on his team or tied for the number one in targets. So I think I just want to stash him on my bench. To be clear, when you say like, oh, what would you trade him for? This is a sell low. It's not a sell. So I recognize that I'm selling like not at a point where you're going to get the most back. But I mean, I'm looking. So he's ranked what, like wide receiver 30 or something like that rest of season. I'm looking at the running backs right now, so I don't have him up. Some of the running backs in that range, you know, Blake Corum is RB 30 just as an upside swing. If Kyron goes down and the Rams start to look better later in the season, common on guys RB 40. Again, he had 100 yards in a touchdown as the second running back in this offense. Again, if Swift ever goes down, that's going to look amazing for him. Those are the types of guys like I would rather take those upside swings. As opposed to at a position that's hard to fill, as opposed to the upside swing on tape that that would be my approach is don't try to trade him for somebody that's like, don't like I wouldn't shoot for the moon with him because you know that other people are looking at the Titans offense and also worried, but I would shoot for the moon in the sense of like a backup who could step into a really big role. If circumstances change, that would be the upside swing I would take with him. Let's go to your last player to sell. Chuba Hubbard running back for the Carolina Panthers. I will keep this pretty sweet in terms of the analysis. Look, he was the dominant running back in the Carolina Panthers backfield in week one. He played over 70% of the snaps. Jonathan Brooks was down below the 20% range. Hubbard was seeing all the goal line red zone opportunities, had one rushing touchdown, one receiving touchdown. So he's coming off a pretty big game. And considering where you drafted Chuba Hubbard, his ADP totally tanked because of the Jonathan Brooks hype. And I was definitely. One of those people driving the Jonathan Brooks hype. So it did not please me to see this type of outcome in week one, but I'm not ready to write off. Jonathan Brooks says, oh, well, it's over. He lost. He's not going to be the RB one. And maybe I'm just yelling or I'm old man yelling at the sky that my breakout player didn't break out in week one, but we've seen these backfields change as the season progresses. Jonathan Brooks was dealing with an injury the last week leading up to week one, where Chuba Hubbard had his injury earlier in the off season. So it may have been a case where Hubbard was just the more healthy guy. Now, this isn't to make a declarative statement that, okay, Hubbard in week two is going to lose his job. He's not going to be the guy, but I think that when push comes to shove and when we get to the season. Week four, week five, week six, I think Brooks is going to continue to eat neat into Chuba Hubbard's work share. I don't think that this type of split is going to be this, but we're going to see every single week from the Carolina Panthers, especially when they give him up 59 points on defense, again, kind of weird game script. You're playing in a shootout. So I think the fact that Hubbard only had 10 carries in this game, he dropped the Brooks had four carries. And Jonathan Brooks also made a really explosive play downfield on a wheel route, which I think just goes to show how dangerous he can be used in the passing game. So I think that this is an opportunity where if somebody thinks that Hubbard is now the locked and loaded RB one rest of season, I think I would probably use this opportunity as a chance to sell high. Because I do think that Jonathan Brooks is not going to go away. And I think that his role is only going to expand, especially based on how small it was in the first game of the season. We disagreed on Tate. We don't disagree on, on Chuba Hubbard. I'm totally with you here just to play devil. Is there any part of you that's worried about, Hey, maybe he just is getting back to what he was in 2024. Like 2025 was a weird season for Chuba Hubbard. He was RB 41 on the year. You only rushed for 511 rushing yards. 2024. He had almost 1200 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. He also caught another touchdown. He was RB 15 on the season. Is there any part of you that's like, we just saw this like one year ago, and maybe this is more likely to be what he is this season. Is that possibility in the back of your mind when you think about trading him away? Or are you so interested in Brooks that it just doesn't matter what Chuba Hubbard has done recently? I feel like I'd be lying if I didn't just say the ladder where I just been so Jonathan Brooks, hyper-focused that Chuba Hubbard hasn't even been on my radar essentially, because I just was not drafting him. Did not want any piece of him, especially when he got the hamstring injury, which obviously doesn't seem like it's a big concern at all based on the amount of work that he got in this particular game. But I just, I think this is like the prime Chuba Hubbard. sell high spot for him. I think this could be his highest snapshot of the year the red zone usage obviously that works in his favor but i think from a pass catching perspective i think brooks is going to eat into hubbard's role a little bit more when you look at the way the panthers are set up is this team going to be playing in defensive battles or shootouts shootouts and i think that means more jonathan brooks sooner rather than later this was just a shootout and it was more to a hubbard but i know i take your point i take your point no no no no that no that is true fair rebuttal but it was considering brooks was coming off of his injury and not being 100 potentially for this type of matchup so i just i still believe in jonathan brooks the talent here and i still want him as i mean i could have put him as a buy but i already had two buys so i conversely put jim harvard as a sell i mean right now if i had jim harvard i could trade him jonathan brooks straight up i would brooks is ranked higher in rest of season rankings so like i feel like some of them are going to be a little bit more of a sell but i think that's going to be a little bit but others maybe wouldn't just based on the rankings a guy who's ranked lower than chuba hubbard in the rest of season rankings consensus on fantasypros.com is kyle monunga who i mentioned earlier like i would love that upside swing on monunga i i you you and i are again we are monung guys we love kyle monunga i i i'm not saying he's getting 100 yards in a touchdown every week as the backup running back but like that's an upside swing compared to hubbard that i would like to take that i think is doable if you want a chance to win the ultimate symbol of fantasy glory that fantasy football championship belt courtesy of our good friends at trophy smack erickson you've got one quarterback slash tight end you can go in the other direction you want one buy and one sell across those two positions who's your buy sticking with tight ends for the segment it's colson loveland i think that this is the most obvious by the fact that the bears scored 59 points and none of the past catchers that we care about the most actually did anything in this game where we're actually excited is just the biggest anomaly of anomalies right that's going to change even if they are a run heavy offense which that's not going to change with ben johnson you're going to see these past catchers eat eventually and the fact that colston loveland put up a goose egg despite running the most routes on the team he still had a red zone target he had three targets we include plays negated by penalties he plays on the chicago bears and now you can acquire him because he just bombed in the first game of the season so i think that colston loveland is someone that if you are hurting at tight end you're just able to get him cheaper than his draft day cost this is almost too obvious so i will ask you rather than just say oh colson loveland's a buy because i think everybody would agree with that what specifically give me an example of a player you would trade away to acquire colson loveland i know it's hard with tight ends usually to make that comparison because it just depends on like if the manager needs a tight end or not and i think the colson loveland manager is very likely not somebody who drafted a backup tight end because they took one of the top three guys so it might be harder to make that deal work but just give me some names that you know kind of highlight the value you're willing to give up to get him i think i would probably try to move a wide receiver for him maybe one of my bench wide receivers maybe if i had drafted for example i had christian watson i had parker washington i have all these receivers that i was taking shots on in the breakout rounds and maybe one of them was on my bench this week and i couldn't use that type of player maybe that's who i would send coming off a big game for a player like colson loveland if i was hurting at tight end so i'm not sure if you bring up some names and rest of season rankings just to see if this idea is even in the ballpark because obviously guys like watson washington i'm sure moved up pretty substantially after their big games in loveland i don't know if he moved down but he may have moved down just as a other players moving ahead of him because he didn't do anything in week one parker washington is two spots away in the overall rest of season rankings um dj moore is one spot behind bashal tootin's actually one spot ahead in the overall rest of season rankings mike evans is around him okay yeah so all those types of names i think yes i like those players but they play wide receiver and colson lovin i also like a lot and he plays tight end so if i can get the positional advantage with loveland by flipping one of these receivers especially if i have an abundance of them i think that this is a it feels weird to be like i gotta sell high i mean mike evans is probably the name honestly because we know he is the one that's probably most fragile from a season-long perspective just based on his age and he's an older wide receiver so mike evans would probably be a good name and i think that's you think that gets done i don't know i don't know i don't know mike evans for loveland i don't know i mean based on these rankings it should i don't know if it actually would if if folks are going to be apprehensive about the injury history as well um he looked so good though for the diners and like imagine if they needed to throw more to keep if the rams offense had shown up like i wonder what kind of day he would have had so maybe i mean if you find the right manager it's worth asking certainly i mean it certainly is fair based on either either him i mean i think washington would probably work christian watson is well ahead actually he jumped up a lot in the rankings and he's probably going to be a good he's about 10 spots higher than loveland now in the consensus yeah so those those guys would all work to get a guy what about rishi rice was going in like roughly the same round as loveland during drafts coming off a bad game but he had a touchdown yeah i think that that would be a fair one to do as well okay uh who is your cell in this category you're going with another tight end here kyle pitts i know i talked about drake london as a buy but the falcons i don't think they're going to be necessarily produce multiple pass catchers that we're happy about even if they do get michael pennix jr back under center two reasons why i was lower on kyle pitts versus consensus during the offseason was he averages significantly less fantasy points per game with drake london he has 7.7 points per game fewer so overall with drake london since 2023 so even though it was cooper rush and was a terrible offense i'm not as surprised that kyle pitts was not involved whatsoever in the passing game with two targets despite running a route on 80 of the dropbacks he only played 63 of the snaps as well that ranked 32nd among all tight ends in week one so he was out there running routes but he was not drawing any type of volume used more as a decoy so that concerns me about with drake london healthy in the lineup because this is not anything new he has been far casted out in terms of the number two receiver on this offense when drake london has been healthy in the lineup and that was using the fantasy pros with or without you tool and then when michael pennix has been the quarterback for the falcons over the last couple seasons pitts has averaged fewer points per game with him as well just 6.4 and half ppr so i get that london could potentially overcome this quarterback play especially when they get pennix but to then also bet on that and kyle pitts i think is not going to work so i'm willing to kind of cut ties with kyle pitts who was kind of falling in drafts anyway because you got to make moves on the waivers if you're hurting a tight end are you going to stick it out and wait for kyle pitts to maybe turn back last season which was mostly productive because he had kirk cousins and drake london was hurt both of which are not true in this 2026 offense that's my big concern is this like you'd sell him for a ham sandwich or are you thinking you can try to get anything of value from anybody who's like oh he was tied into last year and he's among rankings and maybe it's worth a swing i think that cutting him in shallower leagues is not out of the question where you got to make a move at tight end you got to add somebody out there on waivers i mean you want pitts or is that likely likely you want pitts or dalton kinkade kink like like all these guys that were going after pitts now are going clearly in front of him and that's putting pitts back into the if we redrafted today kyle pitts would be a late round tight end his rest of season rankings tight end which is about four spots lower than it was during draft season talking about tight end 11 12 13 14 some of those guys don't get drafted so i don't think it's crazy to think that kyle pitts could be hitting waiver wires this week especially in 10 team leagues where hey man michael mayer's out there i need a tight end this week who do you have more confidence in playing it's not kyle pitts and it's like what and and the biggest thing too is like even when pitts comes back are you then like so fired up to fire up kyle pitts back in your lineup and i would say no to that because we haven't seen that really with michael pitts center with kyle pitts being an absolute winner and i think that's a big thing and i think that's a big thing and i it's really been the drake london show and you're also considering how involved bijan robinson is in this passing game which i don't think is going to change maybe it changes a little bit with pennix on her center obviously pennix is a upgrade for all the past catchers including cooper rush but i'm just not so sure that i want to wait for this to happen i'm curious if stefanski will kind of push pennix to throw to his tight ends more stefanski has liked throwing to tight ends in the past so i i'm open to that possibility but so i i don't think i would want to drop it kyle pitts i i would like to at least keep him on my bench but i think trading him away is smart if you can get something back of value i just don't want to get nothing of value because and that's in the back of my mind as a possibility but um who is right behind him in rest season rankings for tight ends it's isaiah likely yeah so i mean like it goes pitts a tight end 11 so goddard has jumped up to tight end 10 kincaid has jumped up to tight end 8 pitts is that tight end 11 and it goes likely kelsey juan johnson mark andrews brenton strange are the next two guys five yeah because so he would basically be at the top of would you rather a pitts or mark andrews i would rather have kyle pitts i think that i think the for the pressing point for me would be kyle pitts or juwan johnson that's i would i think i would rather have pitts but that's that's very close in my opinion of but i think that's all season what i expect to happen i think that's the conversation though i think that's the tier that he should be actually i'd rather have juwan johnson i mean it's it is still close but i i do think i have a decision i would rather have juwan johnson i know fitz is just keeling over right now because we're talking about pitts being inferior to juwan johnson i mean pitts versus kelsey i think is interesting too just given kelsey's age kelsey's a sell too i didn't draft kelsey anywhere this season so i can't sell him dude yeah no kelsey would have been my sell too because it's the same thing that happened last year where he has this monster yards after the catch play where no one tackles him and that's going to be his highest yardage output potentially of the season so based on these rankings this suggests you could win the game if you didn't win the game if you didn't win the game if you didn't do pits for likely if you can do that go sprint and do that i i i'm not saying i believe that it's doable but um i would try uh for sure all right let's do some quick uh buy sell or hold so the way this segment is going to work erickson we did this last year is i'm going to throw three names out at you uh at a given position and you have to pick one to buy sell or hold this is not a ranking this is one that you know just based on where they are in terms of market value and rank current ranking in consensus are you buying selling or holding you got to pick each one in one of the three categories jeremiah love travis a chan who we talked about david montgomery buy sell or hold travis a chan will be my sell david montgomery will be my hold and jeremiah love will be my buy by the way i put these together before you gave me your name so i didn't know you were already going to have travis a chan in a category when i put this together makes it a layup baby on record made it for you so you're buying jeremiah love you're selling travis a chan you're holding david montgomery just quickly on love are you aggressively buying him i mean he looked good but also like the card like he didn't actually score that many fantasy points the cardinals like are they going to win that many games like what are you doing with love i think that he is a a buy i wanted to see him be healthy number one which he was clearly i'm not surprised that tyler agir was heavily involved it was the first week of the season it was a game where they're playing a positive game script so it makes a lot of sense but i just i just go back to the fact that guys that are drafted in jeremiah love's draft slot they usually end up being fantasy rb1s when it's even though i didn't love his draft costs especially when he was hurt he was always someone in the back of my mind that hey i do want to try to get jeremiah love in some of my fantasy leagues because i know that when his production happens it's going to be backloaded in the second half of the season so i'm cool with how week one played out i think that the fact that alger was so heavily involved keeps love's price in check for the most part but the talent dude was so apparent man like dude the guy was slippery dude like guys were just like falling off of love and he looked explosive so that's why i like him as a buy because i don't think you have to pay a leg and an arm to get him he's a good good player i agree uh another running back trio jadarian price quinshawn judkins remandre stevenson again price judkins and stevenson by cell hold judkins i'd want to list as my cell but he already did nothing and he's probably gonna do nothing again this week against the buccaneers so i guess if i can sell him again he was a player whatsoever because of i was afraid of how this offense would look in the first two weeks of the season it just which is coming to fruition unfortunately so we'll just keep him as a cell i guess remandre is the keep here because you have production locked and loaded till we see that travion henderson is healthy i could see stevenson as the cell too because i don't think that he was particularly great against seattle seahawks in week one so i could see him as a cell based on the fact that he just got a bunch of volume price is definitely the one that's hardest to gauge because if he's in the ken walker role that ceiling is potentially capped however he is a player that i think if he does get more volume in week two and week three zach charbonnet has not come back you could see him continue to accrue volume i also like his teammate jeremiah i love it notre dame i thought price looked really really good so he would definitely be my hold for now because i think that he can accrue more value but i'm not so sure i want to sell the farm to get him with zach charbonnet kind of in the back of my mind i think price is an easy one i think price is an easy not an easy choice to sell but i'm saying i think it might be easier to sell him than some of these other guys because he played in pro everybody watched the opener it was the first game of the season and he looked really explosive when he touched the ball so it might be something where like other fantasy managers in your league if you are looking to sell price like hey they saw it too and are excited to add that guy to their team and i'm not so worried about the usage wide receiver trios how about christian watson garrett wilson teteroa mcmillan some big names here christian watson garrett wilson teteroa mcmillan so christian watson i'm going to hold i can't call or make the prediction that he's going to be a wide receiver one and then jump off the bandwagon after he puts up a monster week once and we gotta hold him even though i can see everyone in the comments saying dude he always gets hurt you gotta sell you gotta sell erickson let me tell you right now before you can tell me what you're doing with the other two names you're wrong about holding christian watson you should be buying high on christian watson that's how confident i am in him it like i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i'm not gonna play scared with injuries right like if he is healthy there is no i'm saying right now if he's healthy there's no world this guy isn't a wide receiver one this season yeah man that's that's what it's looking like after week one so buy slash hold christian watson dude i can't buy him because i got him everywhere dude he's on all of our teams so so i feel great about christian watson uh garrett wilson though i was also encouraged with with gino smith as his quarterback so i think as more of a low-key type of buy where dude i can get garrett wilson a full ppr for like 80 on the dollar because he's garrett wilson he plays on the jets dude he was clear-cut target leader it for the jets in week one i get that he didn't have a monster performance like some of these other receivers some of these breakout receivers but dude he's just gonna be solid steady and ready to go 150 targets locked loaded rest of i mean if he caught a touchdown we're talking about his day and he just happened to not in this game but like six catches 79 yards if he throws a touchdown on top of that we're gonna be really happy a lot of weeks exactly so i think that he is just like if again you need wide receiver help and you're just looking for a steady pick i think garrett wilson kind of fits that perfectly and that brings me to tetra ron mcmillan who i was probably the highest on i think of the fantasy pros experts and gotta give credit to tara d bro they were pushing back on me about jalen coker and i thought it was more clear that t-mac would be the alpha and jalen coker would still be a very strong option again i liked coker too but jalen coker would still be a very strong option and i liked coker too but jalen coker would The fact that we saw what happened in week one after what we saw in the playoffs in the second half of last year where the target share was very, very close. Yeah, man, I think that we could see a scenario where they were right. Tara and Debra about their bold prediction about him out doing and out targeting Tedron McGillen this year, Jalen Coker. Now, I don't know. Coker has his foot in a boot or something like that. He's dealing with something of an ankle injury. Seems more precautionary about it. Yeah. So that's the only thing I would be hesitant about. But but maybe that's actually the real opportunity for you to be able to sell TMAC after he did get out produced by Jalen Coker in week one at times last year in the second half of the season. Maybe this gives you the window. Oh, Jalen Coker has an injury. TMAC is going to bounce back. I still think that's possible. I don't hate TMAC rest of season. But I think in terms of selling of this list, he's probably the guy had the least amount of confidence resting just after what we saw from week one. One more buy, sell or hold. Devontae. Devontae Adams, Terry McLaurin, Roma Dunzey, three guys coming off of not so great games. Buy Rome because he plays on the Bears. So I think that's pretty easy. Just just buy him. Devontae, I would sell. He's a player that I did not like heading into draft season. I was concerned about him. Didn't see a lot of red zone usage in week one for the Los Angeles Rams. So that concerns me also with his age. And then Terry ends up always turning around wide receiver two seasons. He just does it. So he had a brutal matchup against the Eagles in week one. Predictably struggled in that matchup. He's playing in Dallas this week. So a Terry bounce back spot seems kind of imminent. I'm kind of interested in buying low on all three of these guys, to be honest. That's obviously not the exercise. You have to pick one in each category. But like again, I'm again, we talked about this on multiple shows already. I'm really trying to not put too much stock in what the Rams offense looked like in Australia. So I if I can get Devontae Adams for cheap of somebody who's like, hey, he's older, didn't get the red zone usage and is worried about the Rams. Like I'm very interested in doing that. Also, especially with Miles Garrett hurt, like maybe the defense isn't this great, incredible defense we expected. And now they have to throw more. So like I I'm again, by low, I don't want to buy high or, you know, by market value. But if I can buy low on Adams, I'm interested in that. Well, Corrin, you're right. Had a really tough matchup. I think there's better days ahead for him. And at doomsday, just being a part of the Bears and a player that I just really like as a player. So I'm kind of interested in buying all three of these guys, I think. Yeah. Another name just to mention, because we didn't get a chance to talk to them because they play on Thursday night. But James. That dude's going to go off on Thursday night football because he had a game that was bad in week one, even though he had a ton of opportunities, drop and passes, kind of typical JMO boomer bus. But what do we do? Worm after JMO has a stinker, you just buy right back in because then he just explodes the next week, especially against the Buffalo Bills. Yes. Jameson Williams. Do not lose faith. Start him this week by him. Dude, last year after Jameson Williams had a bad game, I traded Darren Waller to get him on my roster. OK. People hate Jameson Williams after he has bad games. So buy low on JMO. I did promise our fine listeners that we would do a mailbag at the end of this episode, so let's lightning around. We got just a handful of questions here. We will go very speed round through these and then get out of here. First question, are any Browns, wide receivers, or tight ends startable until Watson is no longer quarterback? Okay, so Concepcion led the team in targets last week. Boston had some nice plays as well. However, the confidence level with those two players isn't really super high, so I think that I would just keep them on the bench, trust in the talent, and trust that the Browns make the correct decision with what they do at quarterback. Rest of season, Coker or McMillan? I still say T-Mac rest of season, but it's obviously much, much closer. Gap is smaller than we thought, yes. Same question, Loveland or Kincaid? Loveland still. Loveland. I mean, yeah, it's got to be Loveland still. I have Bowers currently on IR and Brenton Strange at tight end, but a tough matchup against the Broncos coming up. Any suggestions or just full ride Strange in the Jets? Or excuse me, in the Jets. So you said Strange and the other options were- He has Bowers, so he's using Brenton Strange until Bowers comes back. Yeah. I mean- He's wondering if he should just ride with Strange until then, or any suggestions going up against the Broncos? I think Strange is fine. Yeah. I mean, he's probably a little bit more touchdown dependent just because they like to spread the wealth in that Jaguars offense. So he might be disappointed if he doesn't score a touchdown. So if you can find a tight end that maybe will run into a little bit more volume, maybe that I feel a little bit better about that. But in half PPR standard, I think Strange is still a good- I also wouldn't overthink like, hey, this is already my backup tight end. I don't want to make these crazy moves trying to just patchwork a problem for only one to two more weeks. You know you're getting Bowers back. I would just roll with Strange until then and hope for some touchdown luck. Are we trading away Jordan Mason? Will this usage- Sustain when the quarterback- with the quarterback switch up until Kyler Murray is back? Or is there a grouping of wide receivers to target with him? I cannot recommend you trade anyone before they play the Bears. I'm sorry. I won't do that. I mean, unless you can literally just trade them based on the fact that, and they don't even have to play the Bears and people just expect them to go off, then maybe you can make the move. But dude, the stock for all these players is always going to be higher after they face Chicago. Are we panicking on Herbert, especially if Ladd misses time? I'll answer for me. I'm not panicking. I'm panic curious. I'm a little nervous. I want to see what happens, but I'm not actually panicking yet. Not panicking. Cardinals defense may be just better than everyone wanted to give them credit for. So that's also something you want to take out of that type of matchup that it's not just about the Chargers vomiting all of themselves. Also the Cardinals, they get paid to play too, right? They had a lot of guys this offseason that got healthier. So maybe their defense is more average and not just like- It's like bottom of the league, bottom five. With Herbert, one thing that was encouraging about the usage and how he was deployed in Mike McDaniel's offense, a lot of play action stuff, which typically leads to high-end results for fantasy quarterbacks. So yes, would not be concerned about Herbert. I think Herbert among the quarterbacks, if I didn't put Loveland, Herbert would have been my buy low in terms of fantasy quarterbacks, because I do think that the ceiling is still sky high with him in a Mike McDaniel-led offense. We already answered this one, but just to read Wilson, actually be expected to meet expectations this season. I think we both would say yes. We like what we saw to Garrett Wilson. Two more here, and then we'll get out of here. Is Marshawn Lloyd not startable until the snap share gets consistent? Yeah. I mean, Chris Brooks started in week one, right? And the offensive line for the Packers is not in good shape right now. So clearly they don't have full trust in Marshawn Lloyd, even though he did rip off a couple of big runs. The snap share is not working in his favor where he can be trusted. Last question. It says flex slash tight end option, and then it gives three names. I don't know if they're saying we need to pick two, one for the flex, one for tight end, or let's just rank these three quickly, just in case, because I'm not entirely sure the question, but flex tight end option, need to pick Dallas Goddard, Colson Loveland, and Ramondre Stevenson. What do you all think? So why don't we rank those three, Goddard, Loveland, and Stevenson? Goddard seems like a really strong play, basically, whenever A.J. Brown is not on the Eagles. So that's not going to happen, because he's on IR, and he's on the Patriots. So Dallas Goddard, I think, is a strong, strong start. And Stevenson, I think you got to continue to play as long as Traven Henderson is not active. However, it looks like there is a chance that he could come back. I don't think I could live with myself if I didn't play Colson Loveland in week two. So, because he's just, is going to scream every buy low model that is in existence in fantasy football and betting and all this stuff, because. So who's the sit then? It would probably be Ramondre, honestly. Unless, I guess Dallas Goddard would be the sit if Henderson doesn't play, and I would just bank the points in volume with Ramondre playing at home against the Steelers. That's probably the move that I would make, especially giving up what they gave up to the Bijon last week. Also, the Eagles are facing the Titans, right? Am I misremembering? I think they have the Titans this week, which is not, you know, like, they might be able to just not throw that much and win that game really easily with their defense. It's a good problem to have between those three guys. Three good players, I think I would sit Goddard out of them, unless Traven Henderson's playing, and then maybe I would consider sitting. Always got to have our caveats so that we're never wrong. All right, we'll go ahead and wrap things up there. Thanks, everybody, for checking out our week two trade show. Summary:

FAQs

The new Burger King chicken nuggets are described as the crispiest, juiciest, and tastiest ever, made with 100% white meat chicken, and are a result of real customer feedback.

No, the new Special Savory Sauce is only available for a limited time at participating U.S. restaurants.

Kenneth Walker had an outstanding performance, rushing for multiple touchdowns and dominating the Broncos' defense. The Broncos also struggled defensively, with 28 missed tackles and 247 yards allowed after missed tackles.

Hampton showed potential despite a poor game, scoring a touchdown and being a key part of a struggling Chargers offense. His role may expand in upcoming games against tough defenses, making him a low-cost buy opportunity.

London is the clear top receiver for the Falcons and may get more volume as Michael Penix Jr. returns to the starting role. His upside and current value make him a strong buy, especially for managers without wide receiver depth.

Yes, because Achan was not used in red zone situations and lacks consistent red zone production, which raises concerns about his long-term value in fantasy football.
