That's funny because, yeah, they don't see it that way. Yeah, we got week two rankings as well and some random rankings. We got a loser punishment as well that Field is going to spin the wheel on. But first and foremost, guys, let's start with the starts of the week really quickly. We'll close out all the things that was week one. By the way, for our production team up there, just so you guys can have a little peek behind the curtain, we got no monitors in here today. We cannot see our starts of the week. I think Field pulled some plugs out. Yeah, that's what happened. Actually, you know what? I felt at the end of Sunday night. I was like, okay, that's not going to happen. That team was really bad. My starts of the week team. It wasn't as bad, but I mean, it was the worst out of the three of us, but it was a little closer than I thought it was going to be. Agreed. Yeah. He's like, I was really bad, but actually you guys were pretty bad too. You know, I forgot that I had Brees Hall. That was the thing is I forgot that I had Brees Hall. So I had two respectable picks, an okay pick and the worst pick of the week by far. The worst pick of the season. Mine were okay. I'm pretty, I mean, Herbert underperformed, but Javante and Alave went off. Mayer, nine points from a tight end is fine. It's not great, but it's fine. So I'm okay with it. All right. So you end up with 74.8. Six points. Yep. Daniel with Dak Prescott, Travis HN, Ladd McConkey, Trevor H, Travis HN, sorry. And Jawan Johnson all scored at least 14.4 fantasy points. You go for 62.8. Yep. I go with Jackson Dart. Thank you. Crushed it. Brees Hall also did great. Tet McBillen and a half points. And Colson Loveland. You know what sucks about this is you get to use these players one time the entire season and Colson Loveland gave you a zero. The amazing part is, so again, there's only three of us picking. And once you guys make your choice at tight end quarterback or running back, I can just wait and be patient. So in the third round, I had a tight end and I believe a running back left over to take. And I was like, well, I'm not going to take a tight end because you guys already have. I'll just save Colson Loveland for my final pick. I did that. And that's what you get for waiting. I got zero points. So do I get to spin the punishment for myself? Yeah, you bet. We said the entire draft. I'll come over there. All right. All right. Don't wait on tight end. I'll switch. Bo Nix, Devon, a Chan, Rico Dowdle, Saquon Barkley, Devon, uh, Devante Adams, Ted Arroyo, McMillan, Mark Andrews, the Patriots defense, and Cameron Dicker, which meant the high score of that team was on the bench. Well, but the high score of the player that actually participated in the game was Devon a Chan. Oh, Saquon. Saquon had eight, but not by much though. And then on the other side, another person won a matchup with this team. Drake May, Jadarian Price, Jonathan Brooks, Marvin Harrison, Jr. Jamar Chase, Drake London, Trey McBride, the Texans defense, and Harrison Mevis, who got one point on one extra point. Thank goodness for Trey McBride. 48.32 to 42.14. That is awful. That's awful right there. And that's in a three receiver league. That is not in a two wide receiver league. perfect process not me let's dive into our week two rankings where we're not overthinking it or overreacting to all the things that happened in week one we'll start at the quarterback position my friends do it quarterbacks that we got here for the top 10 in week two we got josh allen surprisingly a qb1 everyone has him there yeah weird lamar jackson brock purdy jalen hurts dak prescott then caleb williams jayden daniels justin herbert at qb8 jackson dart at nine and patrick mahomes rounds out the top 10 my friends yeah what do you notice about this list am i getting anything out to you yeah i have something very much stands out a guy that's usually maybe 8th through 12th in the rankings maybe sometimes a little lower sitting at qb3 yeah this week and pretty pretty good 30 i wonder why guys uh i have an idea i have an idea yeah miami switch defense is with the big 12 this office what it is yeah everyone loves miami is what it sounds like yes rough uh work in progress miami on both sides of the football um but yeah brock purdy is the guy i want to highlight here for obvious reasons i mean if you drafted him you got him pretty cheap and you felt like he was probably going to be a streaming option maybe it's sliding there's your your qb1 if he's the best guy you pick but um he stands out as a must start a lineup lock here again at home against the miami dolphins first of all looked really good in the opener he was fantastic in that game 25 of 34 205 yards three touchdowns had the one pick but also 29 rushing yards which is something that he kind of quietly does you don't hear much about it but he can add value with those legs and did that in week number one brock purdy has one of the best floors in fantasy at quarterback right now 16.8 plus fantasy points now in 17 of his last 22 games he's averaging 18.6 per game during that stretch and again we just watched miami give up three passing touchdowns to kirk cousins in week one uh this should be a an easy game for the 49ers especially on offense with your start yeah yeah what about justin herbert guys can we talk about this kid because we had high expectations coming in i'm worried if it doesn't get going here already in week two we might be out on justin herbert whoa whoa whoa whoa i understand there's a reason why yes there's a reason why let's just we'll talk about this week for right now first but like taking on the the las vegas raiders they were just so bad in week one against the cardinals at home i'm aware guys i'm aware 209 passing yards one touchdown and we're going to be out on the cardinals at home in week one against the cardinals i do love that he had 29 yards on the ground but only 13.2 fantasy points against this raiders squad we need to see what we expected in week one because if we don't when you look at the schedule coming up and we'll throw up a full screen about this you look at the schedule coming up for justin herbert if he does not get rolling against las vegas we might be out on him as a starter then he goes at buffalo across the country at seattle then denver then at kansas city then a buy then at la then the texans and then he's at baltimore i mean the jets and the this gets really tough he needs to get on a roll now in this game because i don't think if he doesn't get it rolling before we get into that meat of the schedule we're going to have a hard time having justin herbert as a top 10 quarterback we're going to downgrade him for matchup in almost every single one of those situations so he needs to be playing at like a top five an elite level because if you factor in the matchup just to consider starting him as a top 10 or top 12 option he has to be playing at that elite we are buying in one more week as a top 10 guy because of all the stuff that we thought we were going to see last week we just we have to see it against the raiders otherwise we'll be singing a different tune about justin herbert yeah buffalo week three i think they can move the football i agree with you jared goffman move the football uh tomorrow night as well but yeah i hear you listen this one's tough for me to uh to discuss at this moment i'm very frustrated by how the chargers performed me too in week one i think we all are but i was especially confident in this group coming into the season i did tell a funny story before the show uh on fantasy focus countdown on sunday we did an segment yes where we all made our picks there was four of us in total and i was very very i was i thought joe fortinbaugh was playing with fire by picking the raiders and joe who of course betting guy and kind of knows playing the long game how important that can be was like this is your one chance to bet on the pick the raiders do it and run the risk he wins i lose i pick the chargers and i was brazen with my confidence um i do of course i put my money where my mouth is and i make my picks and i was telling the guys this morning that i got a reminder to make my pick for week two and eliminate your challenge okay i'm like what the crap is this like am i gonna have to get reminded every week that i picked the freaking chargers in week one like is this taunting yeah it is taunting i have to put a neck tattoo on i've got to pick the chargers again no it turns out i i don't know if i accidentally did this or if i was hedging against my own confidence but i went in there and checked and i picked the jaguars in week one love it so i'm still alive not alive in the court of public opinion because people are like what a in the eliminated leagues that's good news and i am picking the buccaneers this weekend over the browns field the eights does not put his money where his mouth well i didn't in this case and i actually and i'm not mad about it uh my quarterback pick and the theme for four out of my five picks with the reminder that qb and tight end are both inside the top 10 yep and then wide receiver and running back are both inside the top 20 my general theme for four out of my five picks is guys who mashed in week one with an opportunity to kind of further cement themselves in week two right not guys not that brock party is josh allen but there's a longer stretch of brock party being a pretty good fantasy quarterback than there is in the case of my quarterback pick which is caleb williams who caleb williams you saw sixth in our espn consensus ranks this week was amazing highest scoring player in all of fantasy in week one the guy was lights out he had his first career game with multiple rushing touchdowns that's going to be hard to come by in general but still an excellent feat for him he averaged nine point three yards per attempt so he was aggressive as a runner he was aggressive as a thrower he completed 11 of 12 passes when throwing short of the sticks as well much more accurate right so caleb was hitting the throws he needed to hit but he also was running he also was afraid unafraid to take shots down the field when they were available the reason why i think this game matters so much is he's not playing the panthers again yes he's instead playing the vikings and you may say well jordan love in the first half was lighting up the vikings and that's fair that's true that's accurate he ended up completing 50 of his passes did jordan love and caleb williams has played minnesota four times in his career over his last three games caleb williams this is against minnesota he has attempted 98 passes you would take 33 pass attempts or you know 32 and a half passing attempts in any game that's a good number for a quarterback in general so in a good sample size on a per game basis caleb williams over those last three games against the vikings has two touchdown passes two so brian for the vikings is a good number for a quarterback in general so in a good example brian flores i think we would all agree amongst the best defensive minds in the nfl i hate playing the vikings defense this is going to be a kitchen sink game have you guys seen all the charts that break down the blitz rate by defensive play callers from week one of course we have mike and i both we know ball i mean honestly i mean mike might have it in his database yeah but anyways if you go look there's a bunch of charts that have made their way around the internet and basically it was like a lot of defensive coordinators throwing a comparable number of blitzes and then it was brian flores so far off the charts you couldn't see him like they blitzed on like 85 of jordan loves dropbacks this past week now the packers offensive line terrible the bears offensive line quite good it'll be a different challenge for them but if caleb williams comes out with 22 fantasy points on sunday against a brian flores defense i think that the confidence level for caleb williams goes to the point where if he bubbles up his quarterback five in our rankings in week three we don't talk about it we're just like yeah all right caleb williams said it and forget it he's a lineup lock in the playbook move on if we get if we had 22 points in week two after what we saw in week one i think top five is going to be the best defense in the top five, basically rest of season until I am seeing something else with my eyes makes a I'm going with, I'm going to try to avoid until we're at like week 10, like rest of season, because it's like so much changes week to week. If I rank Caleb number five overall amongst quarterbacks in week three, I'm not going to feel like I have to come to the show with an argument prepared for it. I'm going to be like, yeah, the guy's been nails for two straight weeks. So huge weekend for Caleb Williams, number six right now in ESPN consensus rankings. Yeah, you guys are actually lower than me this week, so I'm buying in on him, but you're right. This is a big test, great deal. Actually, a note, my rankings, I was having a little bit of an issue with the rankings tool last night. Happens every once in a while. He was on vacation. Caleb, we bumped up a little bit yesterday. The Wi-Fi on airplanes and on the beach. You weren't on United, were you? I was not on Starlink. Yeah, that was the problem. I needed to be on United. I flew Mike's jet, and the airplane Wi-Fi is not great. That's not good. I'll talk to my guy about that. Yes, that's fair. All right, let's talk about running backs next, my friends. Top 20 running backs here in consensus for week two. Top three, do not surprise. Jameer Gibbs, actually, the top five don't surprise. Jameer Gibbs, Bajon Robinson, CMC, Jonathan Taylor, and Ashton Gentry, 6-10, Derek Henry, Kenneth Walker III after that major game, James Cook back in the top 10, Javante Williams and Saquon Barkley, 11-20, Devon Achan, Omari and Hampton, Brees Hall, Chase Brown, and DeAndre Swift with David Montgomery, Kyron Williams, Bucky Irving, Chuba Hubbard, and Ramond Ray. Bucky Stevenson. Pretty good group. Yeah, pretty good group right there. Not too bad. Are you buying in, Mike? I saw that you wanted to talk about Chuba Hubbard. Are you buying into this potentially being his backfield after week one? Do you think there's more in this tank? How do you feel about this kid? A lot of coaches and play callers kind of just told us what we needed to know in week one, whether it was splitting up the backfield or leaning heavily on one running back, and Carolina told us what their plan is, at least for the short term. It's exactly what Field Eats thought it was going to be. It's the Chuba Hubbard show for sure. Played 69% of the snaps. He did that once of all last season. I believe it was week two last year, so it was a little bit different in terms of usage. The snaps were 43-12 over Jonathan Brooks. He also out-routed him. Is that out-routed? Yeah. Ran more routes? I said stinked earlier, so out-routed counts. Out-routed sounds, yeah. He ran 21 routes to Brooks' five, so it wasn't even close in passing situations or even running the ball. I mean, it wasn't a high-volume game because they were trailing throughout, but he still had 10 for 49 in the touchdown. Targeted three times at 38 yards there and for a touchdown as well. The only pause is we'll kind of see how good the Atlanta defense is against the run. It's too early to tell. I'm not too worried about it. They did hold the Steelers running backs in check last week, but I consider this a neutral matchup. Maybe it leans towards a good matchup, but the bottom line is the guy is probably going to play 65-70% of the snaps, and in this league, that's enough to be at least a fringe RB too, so he'll be in my lineups this week if I have him. Are you worried at all about what we've seen in the past from Chuba Hubbard where this might be a really nice start to the season and then we haven't seen him keep the job necessarily? He did, what, two years ago and three years ago. It was just last year that he got hurt and then he wasn't playing well. They want Jonathan Brooks to be the guy. I mean, they drafted him. At some point. I don't feel that way personally because I didn't feel that way coming into the season, so I'm okay with Chuba kind of like maintaining sort of like low-end RB too, flex value. I also would note that when he did lose that job last year when he got hurt, like Rico Dado didn't play, like, pretty good football. He played, like, best running back in NFL football for three weeks. Back-to-back 200-yard rushing games. They didn't really have a choice, right? Like, it wasn't, it was so good from him that they had no choice but to keep Rico Dado as the hot hand there for a while. And that's kind of what they said too. Yeah. It was like they had press and they were like, look, what do you want us to do? And then he did start to come back to earth and then Hubbard started to play a little more down the stretch. One dynamic I'm always thinking about early in the season in fantasy for backfields is if there are teams that aren't very good, that we, whether know from the beginning or eventually show themselves to not be very good, could a veteran be vulnerable to losing his role or losing some of his role down the stretch to a young up-and-comer? I don't think that's really in play here for Carolina because this division is so wide open. They won the division last year. That to me would be the clearest path for Jonathan Brooks to see his role expand more than I think the Panthers are currently expecting it to expand. This is not the only example. Just an example is like, I wonder what happens if Tennessee goes 0-4 to start. Like, does Tony Pollard generate some trade interest? Not that Tony's an amazing player, but still, like, team's looking for some depth at running back. Could the team say, you know, Tajay Spears is in a contract here. Like, we should probably decide whether he's going to be a guy for us going forward. Tennessee, of course, did not look good in week one. Doesn't apply, though, in the case of Carolina to me. Yeah. Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss. It started with a kickoff. Or perhaps, it was love at first hike. Another year, we're already in week two. We're ranking him inside the top 20, and it's not because of injuries. It's not because of bye weeks. It's David Montgomery kind of doing the narrative that we thought it would be, which means he needs to be a touchdown equity guy in this offense, one. And the Texans need to play really good defense for him to touch the ball a lot. Wasn't very efficient. Only 20, not only, 20 carries, but only three yards per carry. Had 60 yards. But he did have three receptions, which I really like as well, for 19 yards. Just the idea that he's getting a little bit more passing game work than we saw in Detroit. I feel differently than you guys. What do you guys do about Woody Marks? I understand the split that they had, but I feel like David Montgomery still is going to be the guy with the touchdown equity. He's going to be the one that they have at the goal line. He's the guy that it feels like they want to be their short yardage back. If they loved Woody Marks as much as they did, I don't think they would have brought in David Montgomery and have him touch the ball 23 times in week one. I still love him. He's an RB2 for me. I have him at running back 15. I think everyone has him in the 15 to 20 range. We're rolling out there again against Cincy, who, by the way, Bucky Irving just carved up this Cincy defense on the ground. So that's a shot here for the Texans running backs to do some things. I think we're all closely ranked enough for this week that we see David Montgomery's value in week two similar, right? I mean, you're at 15, you're at 15, I'm at 19. Actually, I wasn't surprised because it's the internet, but I went and I saw some of the commentary in response to the video that we posted on Fantasy Focus on Twitter, where I described David Montgomery as a sell high. I think Mike was aligned there. And a decent number of the responses, there were a couple of responses that stood out to me. One was like, sell high. I got this guy in the seventh round and now I'm playing him in my lineup. And I'm like, that's kind of the point. Is that like, you got him in the seventh round to maybe be your flex and somebody else might be like, dude, I would trade you my RB2 for David Montgomery and whoever, name your random RB2 that you think is going to be better over the course of the season than Montgomery and turn Montgomery into that player, right? Like after one week, the shine is not off some of these guys that were ranked ahead of Montgomery so much that you shouldn't consider trading. The other response was like, yeah, but Woody Marks was only playing on passing downs and two minute situations when they're speeding the ball. I'm like, that's valuable, right? In our game, it's really valuable. Also not true. He had nine carries, did Woody Marks. That's not completely true. But it's also, it's like, you know, there is plenty of data that shows like one target for a running back is demonstrably more valuable than one rush. Like if you're saying David Montgomery is going to get to get a ton of rushing volume and maybe a lot of touchdowns, like, okay, fine. Like he can be, Jonathan Taylor light. He averaged three yards of carry, right? Like he's a good player. People, my other favorite, this is my last favorite one was imagine how many more yards per carry he would have averaged if he hadn't rushed the ball into the end zone on those two occasions. Five more yards, maybe. You're right. He would have actually just kept going for three miles and he would have averaged 10 yards per carry. And also I'll add this. They had 73 offensive snaps. Normally they're going to have 10 to 12 fewer than that. So that's also going to inflate his overall snaps here. Again, he played 37 snaps. Woody Marks played 36. Woody Marks was on the field for half the plays. I mean, that's a lot. That's a, that's a big number. So again, that's our point. We're not saying he can't hang in the RB two flex conversation. He absolutely can. The point is he's at a ceiling value right now. So if you could take advantage of that, we're not saying trade him for Marvin Harrison or someone else picked in the seventh round. The point is maybe you can jump up and get a guy that was drafted in the fourth round or third round that had a bad week one, throw another piece in something like that. I don't know. You play the game, you know, just a few names. I'm just going to randomly throw three names out here that I think are going to be think we're in the RB2-ish conversation. I'd be curious where you guys have them right now in like your short-term evaluation. Would you rather David Montgomery or Kyron Williams? I'm going to still lean towards Kyron. I think the Rams offense is still going to be good. Okay, but that's a name that I think I'd rather have David Montgomery. Okay, so you're different. You're there. Okay. But I also liked Blake Corum a lot more than you guys did coming into the season. David Montgomery or Travis Achan? Travis Achan. Okay, I think you could make that trade right now. I think somebody who has Travis Achan would take sorry, somebody who has David Montgomery would take Travis Achan right now. There's a name right? Let's do, can you do a wide receiver? Because I think if you grabbed him in the seventh round maybe as your third running back, the team that's going to be trading for him wants to start a running back, which means you would probably give up something that's not a running back to get as a starter. Is there a wide receiver that you would you like would be a good Okay, Jameson Williams? I would. Any Bears wide receiver? Any Bears? Oh yeah. Lee Freeman. I think both Bears. No, not Lee Freeman. I don't think so. And these are tricky too because it kind of depends on your situation, but like a Terry McLaurin as well, I think it's interesting. Like I would lean McLaurin. The hard part with it being a sell high for me is that you're selling high at a position that always has value and need in fantasy football. That's why I think you can upgrade. Is that like, I think if you prefer an Achan or a Bucky Irving, for example, who I just think is more talented at this stage of his career than David Montgomery, if you feel in your estimation that for the next, based off what you saw in week one and what you thought of the player coming into this season, that Travis Achan is a better bet than David Montgomery, I'd make that offer right now. What is it that, so as a part of this, because I know you're not saying that David Montgomery isn't good at football. Yeah, I like him. But if you're selling high on him, it's because you don't think he's going to deliver X amount of value for your team for the rest of the season. I think it's that there's somebody else that can deliver more value. That's the point, is that I think I'm upgrading. If you think you are upgrading, because I think people after week one, if you offer them David Montgomery for their Travis Achan, I think there are people that would be like, give me that. Right? And I express some of my concerns with Achan on Monday with just the snap share. But if you think that David Montgomery is going to be an inferior player to Achan for the rest of the season, then I would make that offer right now. Imagine, though, if you drafted David Montgomery in the seventh round or eighth round to be your third running back, and then you're like, great, this is exactly what I wanted. I have a third running back. I can count on the entire season. I don't have to worry about any of this stuff. That's fine, but what if your third running back was a better running back, is the point I'm trying to make. Yeah, exactly. And if he goes 14 for 48 with no touchdowns and one catch for a yards this week, then that's gone. Now he's right back to, oh man, is this guy a flex? And that's very possible. Again, you had a big role from Marks, but Marks also had more of the passing game work in this game. I mean, 2021 was the last time Montgomery had more than 36 catches in a season. And based on how they were using week one, I don't see him expanding on that. He's not going to really make up ground in the passing game. You're really dependent on heavy rushing volume and rushing touchdowns. And that's scary. I mean, he's not David Montgomery, or he's not Derek Henry, you know? He is David Montgomery. He's a great player after week one to just have an overreaction conversation to be honest with how big that game was. If I told you over blindly, like, hey, this guy got 20 rushing attempts, but also averaged three yards per carry, and also played 50% of the snaps, and also probably got at least two goal line carries. There might be some people that deem the 50% of the snaps and the three yards per carry, not enough. More valuable in terms of things that could stay over time than the 20 carries is what I would say. Understood. We'll see how it works. We have him as RB2 here in week two. We'll see more about David Montgomery as we move on. Field, you got a running back you want to talk about? By the way, I feel bad for Monty. Like, I have this, we play in this dynasty league where two years ago I won and I have a very veteran team and it was like all my good veterans that year was like, I do have Lamar, but Lamar, D. Henry, Monty, Saquon, this is the Saquon brilliant year with 2,000 yards. James Conner was still hanging around, Debo, Travis Kelsey, George Kittle, so I'm very old and I was not, I was like, you know, eighth out of 12 last year. Everybody kind of cratered and then week one all my old guys were good. You know, Derrick Henry was good. Crushing it again. And so I had an absolutely ridiculous week one and David Montgomery is part of that team and so I'm like super invested in Monty to be great. I just am nervous. Like, if you guys, again, if you want to offer me Jamar Chase in dynasty, I will take him. We'll see. I have Jack Besch. I mean, he scored in week one. Listen, do not write that kid off yet. No way. Alright, I mentioned my theme is like, you did it in week one, let's see you do it again in week two and it would mean more. Ashton Gentry did it many times in week one. He was awesome, right? That was like the vision we were looking for and I continue to go back to, like, so encouraged by the scheme, the innovation. It was such a 180 from where they were last year. It was have a Ferrari, let it drive on the highway as opposed to have a Ferrari and let it drive through, you know, quicksand in your backyard like last year, right? He had a 16 carry, not carry, 16 touches that gained at least five yards. He was explosive. Importantly, he played 73.1% of the snaps, which is lower than where he was at last year. He was at like 85 in a lot of weeks. It was ridiculous, but it was still fifth amongst running backs. Yeah, it's very high. Elite to be at 73% or higher. So, love the role, love the explosiveness, love the creativity, obviously love the talent, love the toughness, love the fact that this guy, players were circling around him in prayer like three weeks ago, and people were fading him in drafts for 48 hours. Shefty tells us he's all good, and he has a monster week one. It looks great. The rubber meets the road a little bit on Sunday, though. The Cardinals' backs were actually fine against the Chargers, but I think we would all agree, as Mike mentioned with Brock Purdy facing the Dolphins this week, that the Dolphins defense is so bad that you have to account for that a little bit. Ashton Gentry could still have a really effective game this weekend and go for 15 fantasy points. If he goes for 22, then we're like, alright, do we have a new member of that elite tier of running backs, right? The Jameer Gibbs, B. John Robinsons, Jonathan Taylor, Christian McCaffrey. Maybe it's those guys, and then Ashton Gentry is sneaking up right behind him. Did I forget somebody there? No. I would only push back a little bit by saying that I would trust it, depending on what he does in this one. Once we see Brock Bowers out there in that offense, if he gets another five or six receptions in this game, I'd be like, great, this is the passing game work that we want, but we need the number one tight end in football to be out there also to know what's actually going to look like when he's out there. It's just a little bit of a pushback. I think he's safe to be in that three to five target range, which is fine. If he's going to handle most of the carries, I think our hesitation if he's, even if he wasn't hurt, if he was healthy, our hesitation was all the Mike Washington hype. Is he actually going to steal enough to kind of hold back his fantasy value? If week one's an indication, the answer's no. The other thing I would say is that it's not just the number of targets he gets, it's the utilization of those targets. Last year, he saw a ton of work, obviously, in the passing game. So much of Ashton Genting in the passing game last year was Mike's guy Geno Smith being under duress and just dumping it one yard behind the line of scrimmage and six catches. I feel like there was a game last year where he had six catches for seven yards, and you're like, all right, well, you got the six fantasy points, but you didn't get the seven fantasy points because he had seven receiving yards. That's a tough one. They did address the offensive line, obviously, signing Tyler Lindenbaum there, and I do think Kirk Cousins is great as far as for his value right now early in the season. All right, let's talk about some wide receivers, my friends. Wide receivers here in week two. Puka leading off at wide receiver one with Amon Ra, JSN, Jamar Chase, CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, Chris Olave, Nico Collins, Rashi Rice, and Zay Flowers rounding out the top 10, 11 through 20. George Pickens, Garrett Wilson, Drake London, Ladd McConkie. We'll get some more information on him. Malik Neighbors, Devonta Smith, DJ Moore, Emeka Abuka, Devonta Adams, and Tedaroa McMillan, the number two wide receiver in Carolina, rounding out the top 20 wide receivers there, guys. Good stuff. There are a couple names that we're not going to discuss that really stand out to me. Drake London will be a great conversation tomorrow, but Mike. Still not sure what to make of the quarterback situation there, so yeah, we'll keep an eye on that. The guy I'm highlighting is a guy I think you're all a little too low on, Malik Neighbors. You looked the part in week one. I'm a wide receiver 11. You guys are down closer. The consensus at least at 15. I mean, for a guy who didn't know until that day he was going to play in the game, who missed so much of the offseason, who barely played last year, with a new coach, a new play caller, essentially a new quarterback, more competition for targets, just nine targets, six catches, 69 yards, and didn't find the end zone, but he looked really good. Also, he only played 53% of the snaps and still delivered at that level. The good news is in terms of playing time, first of all, it's only going to increase, but he was out there when they threw the ball, and they threw it to him a lot. His route participation was 77%. His target share, 31%, and here it is. I think it's the debut for this year. The first air yard stat for field. Yes! Let's do it! Love it. 40%. 40% of the air yards for Malik Neighbors in this game. Now they play the Rams. They're going to L.A. The Rams just allowed touchdowns, too. Not one, not two, but three 49ers receivers. Evans, Debo, and Demarcus Robinson all found the end zone. They allowed the fourth most fantasy points to that position in week one, so right now we're not really afraid of that situation. I'm right back in on Malik Neighbors. Good to go. Can I push back on one thing? Please. Malik Neighbors is in what year of his career? He is year three. This is year three, but week one showed us that the Rams are specifically vulnerable to guys that are eligible for social support. Mike Evans, Debo Samuel. I appreciate you taking the baton and making fun of old players now. I don't have to do it. You with McCaffrey all offseason, now you with the receivers. I'm just a little concerned. I could be the optimist around here once in a while. Love that. He looked great in week one. Hopefully we can continue to get that from that entire Giants. I just love that he He was clearly featured right out of the gate. It wasn't any hesitation when he was on the field. They threw him the ball a ton. Jackson Dart looked awesome. A lot of optimism. They have a ton of things to prove. It's just one week. But maybe the offensive coordinator who faced the most questions this offseason, Matt Nagy, was excellent. Excellent in week one. That was a statement game. They looked great. They looked great. You said six catches on nine targets for 69 yards? On 53% of the snaps. That's impressive. Yeah. Let's talk D.J. Moore. I know we're going to talk about him a little bit more tomorrow, but I just want to really quickly say this. D.J. Moore in a great spot after not really feeling like a wide receiver two last week because of the Houston Texans game. This is where we're really going to see what we think D.J. Moore and Josh Allen will probably look like more often than not, even though they looked great against the Texans. I think we all kind of agreed maybe they got a couple of nice things gifted their way from the football gods. Variants gone right, I would say. Yeah, that's the right way to say it. That doesn't mean I wasn't right, but it does mean that the variants went right that way. There was a lot of. Close calls. Yeah, that was a wild game to watch. Yes, it was. That was Josh Allen saying, you know what? It was kind of like the opposite of what the Chiefs did. It was like the Bills went in and were like, you know what? We struggled against this team. Let's just go wild and throw it up there, chuck it down the field, and it worked. Every single thing seemed to go their way, and then the Chiefs were just like, we're going to snap and throw it immediately and run the ball, and everything's conservative to protect themselves from a good defense. It was like the exact opposite. It worked for both teams. Yep. I can't wait to see what the Chiefs' offense looks like on Sunday night because I know you guys talked about this yesterday. For our purposes, we need a whole lot more out of the passing game. Yes, we do. Oh, yeah. Rasheed Rice, I'm sure we'll get to him over the next couple of days. He's a fascinating case study. He is perhaps the name that sticks out the most in our top 10 of batters. Yeah, we'll get there. I'm optimistic, but we'll get to it. We'll get there. Yep. I'm talking about Zay Flowers in a second. This game should be on Sunday night. The Lions and the Bills. Rather than Thursday night football? Yes, and I feel passionately about this. It's Chiefs-Colts on Sunday night. I understand the Chiefs couldn't play on Thursday, but they could play in the afternoon. Somebody else could play on Thursday. Would you guys agree that you know probably more Bills fans not living in Buffalo than you do a typical fan base? I just feel like Bills fans are so passionate that I've met a lot of Bills fans not in Buffalo in my life, right? Yep. This is the opening of their stadium. There are going to be a lot of Bills fans from out of town that want to get back to this game and show their support for their beloved franchise. I don't like this on Thursday night. On a Thursday night game. You've got to miss two days of work, right? Not that taking Monday off from work is ideal for everybody, but it is a holiday, a Jewish holiday, I believe, on Monday. I believe it's Yom Kippur. Yes. So I know my kids are off from school as well, so I think there's a chance that Sunday night you'd have a lot more fans that could get back that this opening means so much to them. You know what I like about this? This is field thinking about the people. It's not about the NFL. It's not about us. It's like, you know what? They're going to open a stadium. This should be a bigger thing. We should have leaned into this more. It's a huge. The Bills' old stadium. I'm with you. It was so old, right? I mean, obviously, it was time for a change there. How old field? I don't know. Mike's the age guy. Was Mike Evans old? It was so old. How old field? You're so old, you're. Stadium is falling apart. It's going to be a scene. It's going to be a great atmosphere. But if you have a friend. We live in Connecticut. If you have a friend who lives in Connecticut, taking off two days of work is a material change from potentially zero days off from work. You're not wrong. Let's talk wide receivers. Zay Flowers. Would you guys agree that a 46.2% target share is good or no? 46.2? I mean, you know me. I would say unsustainable, but. But good, right? Yes. Because before Zay Flowers got hurt, he had a 46.2% target share. Wow. He had six of the team's 13 targets before exiting. He had 150 receiving yards in the first half. That's the most in any half by any player playing with Lamar Jackson as his quarterback. Sample size is tiny. But if that was the beginning of what we're going to see from this Ravens offense this year, my God, Zay Flowers is going to absolutely mash. It was creative. It was different. It was highlighting his capabilities, giving him opportunities to run after the catch. He was zigzagging through guys. He looks like, you know, like a frog hopping through traffic, right? He is unbelievable, is Zay Flowers, with his ability to make guys miss. The guy is flat out ridiculous. 46.2%. Sure, it's unsustainable. But for Zay Flowers, if the number hovers around 30% with his skill set and Lamar and how high octane that offense could be, Zay Flowers could be way higher than where he was coming into the season being drafted as. Yeah, we've always worried about the, volume ceiling for pass catchers in a Lamar Jackson-led offense because it's just so oriented on Lamar adding value with his legs and, you know, the defense is generally being good. But right now, if you look at the offensive situation, you're like, okay, Derek Henry's running the football a ton. You have Lamar in the backfield, of course. But in terms of the passing game, Zay and question marks. I mean, Jacoby Lane, they thought they had something there. He's hurt. He's going to be out probably about a month. Rashad Bateman, not doing anything. Could be suspended as well. Yeah, could be suspended. Mark Andrews. Mark Andrews isn't old Mark Andrews. I mean, Isaiah likely. I mean, I know he didn't do a lot consistently in that offense, but he's gone. I mean, there's really nothing there. So 30% target share for Zay Flowers certainly seems on the table right now. And if you get 30% from Zay Flowers, he would be hovering around wide receiver 10 each and every week. Yeah, or if not higher. I would love that. I'm on an island here. Next one we have. This one comes from Aaron Reynolds. Do you think Stribling or Gainwell are droppable now, given what's been happening? I have a pretty strong feeling on this one. I think Stribling, if you don't want to put them on IR, is absolutely droppable. You don't have an IR. You know, I think even when he comes back, it might be a while with Debo kind of looking, looking good. And also George Kittle's ready to roll. Mike Evans. I mean, there's a lot of guys there. And Gainwell, I'd hold on to. I mean, if you're in a shallower league, maybe, but I would hold tight. I think that he'll find his way to relevance. I agree there. That money speaks to me from this offseason. Two years, $14 million for Kenny G. A reminder, and I don't, Stribling has not been placed on IR, but if he is, a reminder because sometimes the fact that you have to miss four games creates the impression that a player is going to miss four games. Miles Garrett, this is a good case because Sean McVay was like, I don't have a timeline on Miles Garrett. It's going to be at least four games before he returns. Not that he matters in fantasy, but a high profile name to kind of make this point. So Stribling, I think the reporting was around a month for this ankle injury, but it's an ankle for a wide receiver. They're cooking through one game after, you know, with the veterans. So yeah, we'll keep an eye on him for a send over the next month. Yeah. And I think Stribling maybe around mid season, maybe starts to become a guy that gets back to fantasy relevance. We'll kind of see how things go with like Evans Debo again, it is an older offense, but he's a guy that still could be. He's going to be an elite winner, but it's just not anytime soon. I could see him making noise still at some point this season. The question is like you guys had just said, do you need to keep someone else on IR over him? Or if you already have someone on IR, are you willing to just, you know, burn a bench spot so that you can get there? How desperate are you to make that move? Right. Like if it's, but that doesn't mean he won't have potential value at some point later on the season. I just don't think you can hold onto it. I totally understand dropping. All right. A couple more questions here. Red Pants Brigade says y'all got to get three dragon brothers. Stop and click. Clay, get the normal dragons and field gets the derpy one. Yes. That's hilarious. Standing on business. I feel so bad for Mike in this regard. Yeah. Mike does not give the grade. I don't even know how they calculate them to be completely honest, but it's only week one. Hey, there you go. We'll see. No, I don't, I don't want to, you know, we don't pat ourselves on the back after week one either way, because there's a long way to go. Things could flip in a hurry. That's fair. Notice I've been very quiet about, uh, the Chargers offense struggling. We'll, we'll see. We'll let it go. You know, all right, let's talk about some tight ends. My friend tight ends here in week two, top 10 for the, uh, for week two here. Trey McBride, obviously tight end one Colston Loveland in spite of scoring zero points in week one, still tight end two here, Tyler Warren, tight end three, Sam Laporta and Brock Bauer. Bauer's at five because there is an uncertainty around the injury. No, there are people who do not have him ranked. Is that what it is? Yeah, that's why it's lower. It's a weighted average, and he is not ranked by at least one person. Okay, got it. That would do that. When you get him not ranked, you basically get a zero in your score. You get 26 is your calculated average as opposed to 1 through 25. Dallas Goddard at tight end six. Isaiah Likely, Tucker Kraft, Travis Kelsey, and then Kyle Pitts. Also, two tight ends that scored zero points in week one are inside our top ten here for week two. I think that's more of a reflection of how bad the position is than anything else. Yeah, we'll keep an eye on the Falcons based on who the quarterback is. Right now, it assumes Penix, but as we talked about yesterday, Daniel, a little more pessimistic than I was a couple days ago that it'll be him, but we'll see. When you say it assumes, are you talking about Klay-I? The projections. Klay-I, yes. Teal, come on. Sorry. Right there, baby. Klay-I has Penix in there for now, but again, it's just so much uncertainty right now. All right, go ahead. Why don't you give us a tight end, Mike, that you want to talk about? Yeah, Tucker Kraft, I think, is an interesting one. He played 66%. He played 66% of the snaps, and he said a couple weeks ago he'll be limited for the first half of the season. Then leading into the game, he said he won't be limited. He was limited. He was limited. He's played at 87% of the snaps over the last two seasons. He was at 66% in this game. His route participation, 73% the last two seasons. He was at 46% in this game. Now, he did have a handful of long catches, but he only had six targets, three catches in the game for 65 yards, only a 15% target share. Again, you would expect him to be hopefully closer, to 19% to 21% if he's going to sustain tight end one. Yeah, certainly that helps for sure, but I think it's a point in the right direction at least. At least he was making explosive plays. That was my concern coming off the ACL, so that's enough for me to put him back into the top 10. On the back end, I'm still worried about some bus games short term. Remember I told you last year he generally hung around five or six targets per game. He just had those inflated numbers and really good matchups down the stretch last year, which really boosted his efficiency and his numbers. So again, we're getting there with Kraft, but I'm not overreacting just yet for now. Kind of a fringe back end tight end one. I'm in on any of the pass catchers right now because I feel like that running game in Green Bay is just atrocious. I am a little surprised. There is a lot of anger right now in Green Bay. People want to burn the place down. People aren't happy. They are not happy. I understand there was some question about whether Matt LaFleur would be retained this offseason. There seemed to be. Yeah. Yeah. There seemed to be like a moment there where it wasn't clear, but he was extended and there are already people that are like, our coach is the problem. We got it. Sometimes I'll see polls on Twitter and I will vote just to see what the masses are saying, right? And there was one where it was like, who's most to blame for the Chargers? And I think it was like the coach, like Matt LaFleur, the running game. Or Love probably. Or Other. If there's an Other, I always vote Other just so I don't feel bad. And it was like heavily in favor of Matt LaFleur. I mean, Matt LaFleur being the biggest problem. Anyway, that's an aside. I'm just surprised by how much anxiety there is right now in Green Bay. That's wild. That's wild. I feel like he's one of the coaches that gets a lot out of his team. So that's kind of surprising to hear. So, and again, it's week one. Six straight games going back to last season, which is wild. Yeah, that's not great. That is definitely wild. Got a lot of angst there. Not a lot of angst in New York right now. Isaiah likely smashed. Yeah, the dude was unbelievable. Eight for 78 on eight targets. Plus he had two tutties for 27.8 fantasy points. We've seen him do this before, actually. In week one before, and then specifically disappear for the rest of the season. Difference is, I do believe this is more sustainable, not 27.8, but his tight end one sustainability is more sustainable now that he is in this offense, free of Mark Andrews. He clearly looked like the number two pass catcher here. Him and Jackson Dart looked great. Again, not expecting two touchdowns every week, but even if he's getting eight targets a game, seven, eight targets, he's going to get enough volume to be a tight end one for us. Isaiah likely inside my top five at the position here in week two. Yeah, I just feel pretty good about his situation. Should be the number two target. Yep. Yeah. I think he's the guy I was after week one. I was like, God, I should have been higher on him. Yeah. I was kicking myself a little bit. You are so high, but not high enough. Last one for me is Sam Laporta, snap share of 81%, which was eighth best amongst tight ends in week one. That's good. Yep. Eight targets, also good. More than anything, and we'll talk about this game as I'll save some of this, like what's the over under in this game? High. A lot. It's a lot, right? Oh yeah. Yeah. Definitely. So we want as much of the Lions and the Bills game that we can get, which means it will be a 13 to 10 pitchers' duel. No, we got that nonsense out of the way in week one. Yeah, that's true. What's the over under, Daniel? The over under right now looks like I am not. 54 and a half. 54 and a half. I believe the week one high was 50 and a half. So 54 and a half, and I'm going to guess the Bills are probably what, four and a half point favorites here? Five. Five and a half point favorites. I asked our. And we'll do this. We'll do this tomorrow, like I said, but I asked our production team to put together a quick graphic of what it looked like the last time these two teams played. In case you don't remember, we will talk about it tomorrow. We'll save that because it was a- Thermonuclear Josh Allen. It was a fun game. Yes. So Sam Laporta, a guy that I was encouraged by the 81% for him, more so than a typical tight end, just because of the back injury and the hip injury that lingered during the preseason. Let's do a couple of bonus guys here. We were still in, even though we lowered him a little bit on week one on Josh Allen taking on the Texans. How much are you lowering Joe Burrow because of the Texans this week? Seems like we are, consensus-wise, too. I'm a QB 14, and maybe we can expand on this when we do our matchup for this game on Thursday or Friday. But yeah, look, Burrow week one was fine, 25 of 35, 254 yards, a touchdown, a pick. Had 20 rushing yards, but that was against the Buccaneers. Now he goes to Houston, and look, I know Houston got crushed by Josh Allen, but again, this is still an elite defense on paper. No quarterback even got to 21 against them all of last season. I think it's kind of a fluke. It happens sometimes. It happens sometimes for great defenses. I worry about Burrow not being able to just make up the ground with the high-variance plays. So for me, I'm going to, you know, I'm a little hesitant on Burrow this week. I would prefer to stream. This is totally unfair to Josh Allen, but if you're making the case why the Texans defense is better than it looked like in week one, Josh had a 20-yard touchdown run when, for some reason, Houston went cover zero in the red zone, which allowed Josh to run, right? There was another rushing touchdown. Which Joe is far less likely than Josh to run for a touchdown, and last, and I know Mike kind of referenced this earlier with DJ Moore, there was this play where it's like DJ Moore makes a catch, I don't know, what, 15 yards down the sideline, and then next thing you know, he pirouettes, and there's nobody within 40 yards of him. And the defender was this close from tipping it away. Also, actually, Bill's PR calling in. They want to have a quick conversation, guys, about the disrespect for Josh Allen. How about the late touchdown where he threw it to Kwame Lasseter? Right like this, like me to you. Right in his hands. And Lasseter drops it, and they score in the next play. Like, everything went their way. Yeah, they're a point that I make is that some of the things that went in the favor of Josh Allen, Joe is far less likely to execute himself, right? We all agree. But we'll keep it in the Buffalo vein is I wanted to make Dalton Kincaid a top 10 tight end this week, or at least close to it. Me too. Because he played great in week one. 77% target share. Sorry, snap share for Dalton Kincaid. Um, he was hurt last year. 55% was a mark he never met in 2025. So the fact that he was at 77% in week one, a sign of how healthy he is compared to where he's been in prior years. He had three catches, 35 yards or more. Not expecting that every week, given the fact that he's had two of those in his entire career. But there were three 35 plus yard catches by every other tight end in the league. Hilariously, of course, one of them was Travis Kelsey when the seas parted. On Monday night, he had that big 50 yarder. Um, but I think the Dalton Kincaid maybe finally possibly can reach that post hype potential. Yeah. You almost said word for word what the playbook write up is going to be for me about this game. Uh, Dalton Kincaid. I'm optimistic. In fact, I added him in our FFC league on waivers. I was surprised I got him. I thought there'd be a little more optimism moves me. I couldn't decide on him or Debo to prioritize. Um, I have a good tight end. I can't remember who it is off the top of my head, but Tyler Warren, I have Tyler Warren, but I had to get Kincaid. I feel like the playing time is a huge change from last year that could unlock him. Remember, this is a former first round pick and he's flashed at times. It's just never been consistent. If he keeps playing that much and it's healthy, you know, the ceiling is so high. So make sure if he's still available in your league, you get him. Yeah. All right. Let's rank. Oh, no, you have one. One more. Mike Evans. I think this might be the player that I have because of what has happened. Changed my mind on the most after week one. Mike Evans, I think is going to now, especially with the John Stripling being out for a month and what he did in week one against the Rams, six for 49 and a touchdown on seven targets, 16.9 fantasy points. I have him as a low end wide receiver too. I am cranking it up. Yep. We are in on my back to clocks. Oh, that's what you're doing. I thought we were cranking up Mike Evans. Also crank up my, all right. Or are you turning back the clock? I guess it depends on which way you twist it. Counter clockwise. We're turning it back, cranking it up, turning it counter. For now, I'm with you in the short term. In the short term. He has, because I was looking at him more as a wide receiver for a wide receiver, low end wide receiver, three high end wide receiver. Before, but now with this situation and the way he looked, especially this week against Miami guys, like he's, he's going to crush here and he gets Arizona next week. I just, I realized boxing isn't even a sport that I enjoy, but that counts as a sports movie to me. Of course it does. Yeah. And you could have chose, you could have picked any of the Rockies. What? Really? Yeah. They announced it at Daytona. Field. You've seen Days of Thunder, right? Yes, but I didn't know there was Days of Thunder 2 coming out. They just announced it pretty recently. This one is for a lot of reasons. I don't think people know the extent of my relationship with Days of Thunder, but 21 straight years, we went to the Coca-Cola 600, and that's the home of Hendrick Motorsports and of NASCAR and where the movie was and where City Chevrolet, the dealership, is. And we've kind of made it our thing. Like, we always visit the barn from the movie. We've gone to the original City Chevrolet dealership and, like, we have all this merchandise. I have wood from the original barn from the movie. We have every. We've met Rick Hendrick and held the movie. We used to take City Chevrolet stuff to the Hendrick Museum and leave it there and stuff. It just became, like, people knew us. That's awesome. That movie, really close to my family. It's always been kind of this bit we do every year, so. Who's in it? Who's in Days of Thunder 2? Who's going to be acting in it? It is. Tom Cruise is coming back. You know what? Facing on the actress at someone very famous. Anne Hathaway. Anne Hathaway, yeah. There it is. I'm sure there'll be many cameos. We lost Robert Duvall, unfortunately, this year as well, so he won't be involved. But, yeah, Nicole Kim and I don't think we'll be in this one. I don't think so, either. Every time I see Mike on the road whenever we are driving by each other, he always comes up and hits me just a little bit. And then drives past me and just yells out, Robin's racing, Daniel! That's always how it works. What do you got, Daniel? My last one is the best sports movie of all time. In your opinion. And it is the movie Rounders. Oh! Yes! Okay. Kind of a little bit of a, like, we think it's. It's sports. Sports! We show it on our air. Poker is a sport, absolutely.
