Week 2 DFS Picks, Survivor Pool + Uncle Frank's Motion - Fantasy Football DFS & Betting

The episode breaks down key DFS matchups for Week 2, focusing on value-driven plays amid uncertainty around injuries—particularly Nico Collins and Kyler Murray. The hosts highlight under-the-radar players like Dalton Schultz and Derek Henry as solid cash options due to strong roles and low salaries. They emphasize that while high-ceiling players like Jamar Chase and CD Lamb offer upside, their popularity creates roster saturation, making value and balance essential. The Washington vs. Dallas game is flagged as a high-total, high-scoring matchup ideal for stacking receivers, especially with CD Lamb’s strong matchup against two-high safety coverage. The Saints vs. Ravens game is seen as a prime value play, with Derek Henry benefiting from a weak defense and the absence of Zay Flowers. The hosts also stress the importance of stack flexibility—avoiding rigid patterns like double-stacks due to salary constraints and game flow unpredictability. They recommend monitoring injury reports closely, especially for key players like Zay Flowers and Kyler Murray. For tournaments, they advocate for balanced, low-rost builds over pure high-ceiling plays, noting that games like Bears vs. Vikings offer high variance at low cost. The episode concludes with a reminder to use tools like the optimizer, with Chris Cash offering a live Q&A on Discord, and encourages listeners to prioritize value over hype, especially in high-traffic matchups.

[MUSIC] Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers TFS and Betty podcast with your hosts, Kyle Morganone and Matthew Mads. [MUSIC] Welcome in, it's Friday, September 18th, we're on the week two here. Betty's Footballers DFS and Betty podcast. I'm your host today, Kyle Morganone and I am joined as always. By Matthew, you're here for the Everyman, Betts. >> I am here for the Everyman, for the dads out there who are just wicking up early with the kids and putting in the hours and sneaking away to the bathroom to set a DFS lineup. I mean, I am here for you guys, I mean, that's all of us, right? Hey, I got to take this call, honey, real quick, and you sneak into the bathroom, you set a line up, you place a prop, whatever it is. We've all been there, there's no judgment, okay? We all do it, and yeah, we're here for you guys. So I'm excited to break this slate down, Kyle, it feels, it feels not like we too. You know what I mean? We're at the point where we're looking at Xavier Hutchinson chalk in week two with Nico Collins banged up. Still not sure on Falcons Quarterback as this recording does it even matter, you know what I mean? So it's going to be, I think, an interesting slate with some dirty, cheap chalk. And those slates are always kind of tricky to talk to because you do need the salary relief, but those guys aren't usually the most talented players in the world. So it creates a little bit of a tricky situation. >> Yeah, it's in Everyman kind of week where we're looking at players that you didn't think you would. Just regular guys and gals, lunchpale people, you know, people that still just want to go to work. Walton Schultz, guy just wants to go to work, K-Dotten. >> He is a lunchpale guy. I loved it. >> Walton Schultz is so underrated, man. So underrated, if you need five or 40, no touchdown, he's your dude. And I do have him in our top league, you know, over the office league. So I would love a nice PPR stat line here for Mr. Schultz. >> There are people right now, and I see you. You're driving your kids to school, you're driving to work. So I'm just, I'm tipping my cap to you right now as you're driving. You're listening to this podcast. >> Kyle literally did that, by the way. >> Yeah, and I just, I see you. I see just the normal, now I don't have the commute that I used to have when I lived in Arizona. And it wasn't a huge commute, but like I missed that part of my life where the one thing about podcasting we've done this for a long time is that you get to like go with people. So there are people right now that we used to joke like, oh, they're out on the run. They're out, you know, wherever they're at, everybody's out on the toilet. >> Yeah, running around the toilet, running to the toilet. >> There is somebody right now, they're nodding their head and they're just saying, yeah. Yeah, I have this on one and a half X or two X on my toilet right now. >> No judgment, it's funny you brought up the commute thing. My twins, they just started back into personal this week. And I take them in the morning, my wife picks them up in the afternoon. And I gotta say, man, that little like 15 minute drive home by myself in the car, just silence, usually I usually have music on sometimes with a podcast, whatever it is. But I'm with you, man, a nice little morning commute. It is lovely, you're sip and coffee, it's great. >> Yeah, you just, it's silent and then you just yell. You just yell into the abyss because maybe your lineups didn't go as well in week one. >> You don't they say? You just read a posit and you're right back to the well, baby. >> We are going to talk through our cash pool of players. We're going to talk about some games that we want to stack. I might, I might get my hands dirty this week and put my hand once again in the dirt for the people, give a little hand in the dirt, take a few people like that. >> I apparently, which I feel like I've been doing that for years. I just didn't have a drop for it. So maybe it solidifies it. We'll go through our slate breakers. We'll probably like it's hot. And at the very end, we will talk about our survivor pick. I think that is the best place to put that in the episode. And I know that people can just fast forward. But like that's just like the slow tease. And I think it's, it's the grand finale of the show. People are waiting for it. They say, where are, where are the turtles? Where is the survivor pick? That's what they want. >> Let's get out of here. >> Where are the turtles? >> Where are they? >> Well, well timed reference for that one. We do have an announcement here at the top. Because if you're one of those people that you have the DFS pass, you're trying to integrate the tools that we have. You're trying to get to work on the optimizer. We have something for you on our Discord. Chris Cash, who is one of our DFS writers, DFS experts. Saturday at 11 a.m. Eastern, he will be live in Discord, answering all things related to the optimizer. He's done tutorials on that. He has articles on the website, but it's going to be kind of like a Q&A. Chris walking through how to do the optimizer. So that's this Saturday, 11 a.m. Eastern. And I say Eastern because that's what he told us, but also that's the time zone that that's an iron. It is funny how they also, you know, on basically anything that they announce the time for. It's almost always Eastern time first. But yeah, make sure you guys are there. Chris is so valuable to what we're doing. And like, you know, I used the optimizer to kind of help guide me, but mostly I'm a handbuilder. And I know Kyle is kind of the same in most aspects of DFS. Chris is not. He used an optimizer to set his lineups all the time. So he is our large field, you know, 150 max type player that kind of specializes in that on the staff. And so if you want to learn more about it, it is a very, very valuable thing. Chris is awesome. Make sure you check that out. Like you said, 11 a.m. Saturday morning in Discord. And I think some of the questions that Chris has answered over the last couple of years, and I know you and I have done this too, is there are people that think the optimizer is supposed to do X. Like it's supposed to spit out a lineup like this, where if you don't know the settings, or if you just go in and say, "Build me three lineups," then you are not really taking advantage of our projections. You're not taking advantage of our GPP values in there, and getting to adjust how your lineup, you can adjust even your stacking settings, all of those things in the optimizer. So that's dfspass.com. If you want the DFS pass, you want access to all the tools, and I said it on Tuesday, I'll say it again. If you want to save some cash, you can use the promo code dfspod@checkout and save some more on that. But let's jump in our cash pool. (upbeat music) Straight cash, homie. All right, we're talking about the pool of players at each position that we are considering as of this recording. So if you don't hear us mention a name, and you're like, "Hey, I've already got this player locked in." Wait until Saturday, we have our best plays rankings. We'll kind of show you like here's what we're trying to do. I do want to remind people you cannot fit in every single play that you want to play all the time. Like there are weeks where we get salary savings and it does work and we'll talk about a couple of those salary savers this week. But like we might have a wide receiver in our rankings at like one or two. It does not mean that I'm guaranteed that week to have that player in my cash lineup because of just the structure and the game flows and everything else. So you know, this is a little bit feeling out what we think the field is going to do and the pool of players that we're trying to bring up. - For sure and every slate's different. There will be times where you can, like if you're in best plays on a Saturday, you can play at the top quarterback that we prefer and the top running back and the top wide receiver if there's enough cheap value to go around. This might be one of those slates. Depending on what happens at quarterback because just kind of jumping into it here, I'll let you hit on the actual good players for this week in cash. But Carson wants us a name that I know people on Discord are throwing around, you know, I'm at least leaving the door open that Carson went and come to the party if he is the starter. As of the recording, of course, we don't know. Where Kyler Murray is in concussion protocol. If he clears, I assume Kyler will start and then of course this is, you know, no one void. If it is Carson Wentz under center, it's a great matchup, a good game environment against the Bears. He's only 4,600. And so when you couple Carson Wentz salary relief with, we'll talk about it here in a little bit, Dalton Schultz salary relief and maybe zebra Hutchins and salary relief, like you can play a kind of whoever you want if you get those guys in there. So this slate might be one of those types of slates where it is kind of true stars and scrubs, but at quarterback, I'm at least, like I said, leaving Carson Wentz in my pool until we get more information. - Yes, if you're looking for like plays that you could just move forward with in the 6K range, like there's three or four guys this week that we feel very comfortable with. Brock party at 6.2, there are 13 and a half point favorites. And then the two quarterbacks in the Dallas and Washington game, which we will preview later, DACA 6.4, Jaden 6.3, all three of those guys, I would feel very comfortable in a cash build. And if somebody like came in and was like, hey, I'm choosing again one of those three guys, that'd be totally fine. - Yeah, for sure. And if it does end up being Kyler, that's kind of the three that I'm looking at there. I think they fit builds perfectly this week. Good floor ceiling combinations. Obviously we love that game environment too between Washington and Dallas. At running back, there are a four pack of guys that kind of are stair step down. So Bijan, you might say like, all of me and the Falcons were so bad. His role was utterly insane. And I'm not saying that as a Falcons fan. I'm just saying that as somebody looks at the stats all day, he had 63% of Atlanta's receiving yards and 56% of their true pass attempts. So when you take away like throwaways and your boy Cooper Rush had three balls bad at the line, like true pass attempts, he saw 56%. So, Bijan has a wild role and Carolina gave up 291 right away. rushing yards last week. So Bijana 8.2 and Derek Henry at 7.2 are like the heavy hitters this week. Yeah, it's hard to poke many holes in either guy. I mean, even with last week where truly the quarterback played probably couldn't have gotten any worse, no matter who was under center, just the PPR role that he has and now a really good matchup. Makes a lot of sense. I still think in tournaments, we're not going to talk about that game. Obviously, I mean, we saw this last year on a slate where Bijan against, I believe it was the dolphins was like, how do you not play Bijan 100% of your DFS land ups this week and he failed. So in cash games, I think he's going to awesome play. I will say there's still systemic risk on the Falcons, you know, shocker about that. So I don't, I don't think that he's like the Gibbs level play that we had last week, where I was just so, so bullish on him from a team level perspective. But the role is great. Cash. He is awesome. Derek Henry, we are expecting Zay flowers to miss. Make sure you're monitoring Friday's injury port. He was a DMP Wednesday, Thursday. And so if you're asking me, how do the Ravens want to play this game? Okay, let's not lean on Rashad Bateman and Elijah Sarat, who was in active last week and Devote's Walker. And hey, let's just give the ball to Derek Henry 28 times in this game. I think that is going to be the game plan. They are favored by about a touchdown in the spot. So he is an awesome play. And then Javante, like the run out here for Javante over the last two or three weeks leading into the season, you know, you go from like, okay, maybe Jaden Blue is the RB two to all of a sudden they cut all their backup running backs. Then they lose Mike Davis. And now they're like signing guys off the street to be back up running backs for this team. So he's going to get everything. And this is a game environment really like, uh, Washington also dealing with a linebacker injury. Frankie Lou Vu looking iffy for this one. So I do like Dallas to bounce back here offensively at home. And Javante is just too cheap for his role at 6400. I gigos a little when you said Frankie Lou Vu. Hmm, that is his name. I know. I had him on a IDP roster. In a league a couple of years ago. And he was actually pretty good for my team. But when I hear Frankie Lou Vu, he just sounds like a mob boss. I know you're an IDP guy. This is news to me. I, you know, I was, I was in a league or two. Um, so B. John Henry at 7.2 Javante 6.4. And then the deal this week that we get on draft Kings Aaron Jones at 5.1 because Jordan Mason was put on IR because his thumb hurts, which, you know, I mentioned broke it. Come on. Okay. Sorry. I shouldn't have been a little bad. He's, he's an awesome man. Um, one game last year where Mason wasn't in and, and Jones was 22 opportunities. He had 14 fantasy points. The matchups great against the bears. Is this one of those things where of that four pack B. John, uh, King Henry Javante and Aaron Jones, you could see yourself doing a three running back build. I think it probably is a three running back week. There were some two tight end lineups last week that I thought we're in play. But I think because of these injuries to like Zay flowers and Nico Collins, it does kind of make things a little bit looser from a pricing standpoint this week. So I do think that three running back teams, they were viable last week. Don't get me wrong, but they're, they're very viable for cash this week. Let's go to wide receiver. I, I'm having a little bit more difficult time this week because we have a ton of value that opens up on the slate depending on Nico Collins. And then there are some Saints guys that I'm like, I'm truly interested, always in a lobby. Veile is still too cheap for his role at 4.2 K. I'm trying to figure out that mix this week. Like what is the field going to do? How many of these cheap guys am I going to have in a lineup? Especially if we're playing the Dalton Shultzes of the world. But I think that's going to be one of the key decision points this week and cash. Yeah, for sure. It's kind of how, how do you build through those cheaper wide receivers that allows you to spend up for cash on your top options at the top? Um, which, I mean, I love the Cowboys guy. I see you Lamb and George Pickens are both on a great spot. Like I said, we'll talk about that game because of the cheap solid relief that we do have. I think it'll be very easy to fit Jamar Chase who he was mega chalk last week. Flopped. Do we think it happens the second time in a row? I don't know, maybe, but it's easier to fit him now because we have all this cheap value to go around. So I do think you're going to see a lot of either Chase or Lamb with cheap wide receiver kind of some combination of that. But I will say it does for tournaments make kind of the balance builds feel a little bit more contrarian where you're kind of building to the five and six key range. So for GPP's where we just kind of flip the build. I'm interested in that, but for cash, I do think spending down and then spending all the way up for the studs makes makes a lot of sense. Yeah, I will talk about CD lamb. I really like him a lot this week. Even, I mean, JSN, we're going to just say every single week. If you want to play JSN, do it. He's 8.1 against Arizona. And then I love Garrett Wilson at 6K, man. I know that like the box score wasn't wild this past week, but it was the same thing. 29% target share and only 6K against the Packers who were annihilated by Justin Jefferson and Carson wins last week. I think he's still a strong play. I agree. Yeah, he can. He fits those balance builds too. And, you know, I know, I know you got some nice things to say about football. Frank, did you see the play where you had like four tight ends in the field? Yes, that's fun. Frank was in his bag last week, baby. He heard you call him out and he was like, watch this Kyle and put this in your spreadsheet, brother. And he's just cooking against the Titans. So, hey, maybe we're wrong, but yes, I do love Garrett Wilson. The other thing I was going to say is that I think you'll see a lot of people focus on Houston cheap water seaver, you know, Dalton Schultz, but like, where are you out with the chargers, guys? Because if lad does not play dealing with rib injury, quit in Johnson is 5K. Try here is only 4K. So, it's not like we have like an option down there or two options out like we kind of have a lot down there. Jalen Cokers, kind of a cheaper tag. You'll see some dolphins guys pop up every now and then with like Caleb Douglas 3700. So last year we were begging for anybody to play below 4K, 5K last year. This year, there's actually a lot of options. And so my reason for bringing that up again for more like the tournament conversation is don't get so sucked in on just like one play in this range that you have to go to. There are a lot of options. And some of them will be low rostered because of quote unquote cash builds funneling you on to save your Hutchinson and those types. So, just that's kind of my advice for tournaments. Yeah. I mean, Q just 5K, Trey Harris's 4K. They're going to be in the mix, but I think that's a wait until Saturday. You can see in her best plays if those guys are in the mix. They're definitely there. At tight end, we still have another Michael Mayer week if Bowers is nowhere to be found. And then Dalton Schultz at 3.2. The least sexy click that you can make like Cade on has so much more rhythm than this man. The aura of Cade. I mean, through the roof compared to Dalton Schultz, are you kidding me? 3.2 for Dalton Schultz is a fine tag. I do have to bring this up for people because I was like, okay, Dalton Schultz is probably going to be chalked this week if Nico's out. He has played 41 games with Nico and nine of them when Nico has been out. And in nine games with Nico Collins out 6.2 fantasy points, three receptions, 46 yards. It's a very Dalton Schultz line that you were just talking about. So it's like, he's fine. And he's fine at this price point. I think that's the bigger point is what does he have to do at 3.2 in cash? Internments would be very open to go in other places. Yeah, it kind of feels similar to Michael Mayer from last week, right? Where he was 2,900. And in cash, you just took the savings. You took your, you know, eight points or whatever he ended up with, I forget. But that was fadible in tournaments. Like even the salary relief didn't necessarily, it wasn't something you needed to win a tournament. Dalton Schultz can come out here and give us 10 points and be totally fine for cash, but be fadible in tournaments. So I'm not saying don't play him in a GPP, but just again, I think he's good chalk for most fields, but it's not like you've got a definitely need him to win a tournament. So just be careful copying pace and like, Oh, Nico's out. Dalton Schultz is going to smash. Yeah, he's, he's like other tight ends that kind of all need, they need to find the end zone to pay it off. Mayer Schultz. And then I just have to bring up Mark Andrews, especially if Zay is going to miss. We're still waiting on that. Probably not a cash play, especially if Henry's going to be chalk, but I need to bring him up because I love him. I mean, when I'm thinking about when I want to be playing Mark Andrews, if this is the end, it's early in the season, right? Like not December when things are declining. So come on, Mark, we need you, buddy. At defense, if you want to play the Buccaneers against a quarterback named to Sean Watson, that's fine. You're paying up at 3.6 and they are a team's world alert that we were considering our survivor pool. I do like a couple of matchups. If you're looking under 3K, the Steelers who are playing in Strait May and the Patriots who, you know, don't have AJ Brown. Last year, these teams played in week three and the Steelers force five turnovers. Your boy Ramondre fumbled twice. I don't know if you remember that was like inside the five yard line. He was just toast. And then the Jaguars are cheap at 2.4, but they're playing a Broncos team that looked lost on Monday night as an offense. So they're a cheaper pun option. Yeah, I think they're a totally fine play if you wanted to play them in a tournament. I probably wouldn't go there and cash, but just kind of thinking about Bonex to not even zoom in on Monday night because that was like an isolated, like horrendous performance. But last year, if you guys recall the Bonex story, he had some amazing fantasy games where it was like, you know, four games of the year he just smashed. Then there's a lot of out out of the pocket, you know, kind of boneheaded mistakes and interceptions and stuff like that. Like the down to down consistency wasn't really there last year. And obviously Monday night, certainly it was not there. I will say the Jaguars do get a huge, not huge I shouldn't say that. A pretty big rest advantage relatively speaking. They played Sunday compared to Monday. And they basically sat their starters in the fourth quarter. So Jags are rested here. I don't mind playing their defense against Boanex at all in a tournament, it gets a little bit more of a conchering intake, but I do get it for sure. Yeah, if you want to play Caroline against Falcons, do it. I have no comments. Good. I have no comments. Good. I will say too, the thing about Caroline in defense in tournament, this is the cash section. I basically just talked about the tournaments the entire time, but you do get massive leverage on the Bijon teams because nobody's going to want to play a Bijon with Caroline in defense in a GPP, would you be comfortable doing that in cash? Those together? Yes. No, just because there's other options this week, if it was like, hey, we have no other pun options. Let me find on DK at 2700, but I wouldn't call them like a smash pick at their price. Yeah. For sure. Let's say a quick break, and then we'll move on. All right, Ben, I got to ask you something real quick. You and I have been doing this for a couple years, would you consider me a very sophisticated man? Oh, the finest gentleman in all the land, because I'm drinking my hot tea, which is usually bets and I as we have this tea that we're like, hey, fire it up right before the episode, but today I'm drinking in this like Harvard mug. It makes me feel smart. Oh, I see. You got your pinky out and everything, too. It's classy. It's a classy look. You're a classy guy. You know what? Why over these years stack attack? We're going to preview a couple of games that you can think about for stacking purposes, kind of walk through them, and I do want to be clear because people sometimes hear us talk about stacks on the podcast, and then we've also shared data over the years like, hey, so when you guys talk about stacking, is this the only way to do it? Like there's so many different ways bets and I give a couple of different routes. As we say, bring it back. Sometimes you don't need to bring back. If DFS was simply just follow these specific rules, we would be printing money. But the NFL is chaotic and building within a constraint of salary is in itself really hard to do. So when we talk about stacking and like, hey, stack up this side or, you know, here's the bring back here. These are options. These are not the only way to do that. Anything you want to say about that? We did have a question discord about about stacking and about bringbacks in a game environment. And I get why the question was asked because on the show, we generally go like game by game of the top games that we want to focus on for DFS. And we generally talk through them as if like, we're going to stack the game up, you know, quarterback in a pass catcher with a pass catcher from the other team or the running backing of their team or whatever it is. But we did an episode at the start of August or midway through August. And Kyle was sharing a lot of data with us that showed like, yes, stacking is still very valuable. But we have gotten to a point in DFS where if you're using an optimizer, everybody will build the exact same way. I want to double stack this quarterback and I want to bring back on the other side. And that's kind of like what we all do every single time. And so I want to just remind people that it's still good to do, but you don't have to do it that way every single time like what Kyle is saying. Sometimes it makes sense to play the running back in your stack with your quarterback and to say this team rolls and they're going to put up 35 points a week. Like we've seen over the years, Party plus McCaffrey has been great. You know, and last week it was a contrarium way to play the Bears, but if you played, you know, Swift and Katelyn, you got all the Russian touchdowns, well, I'm gonna guide you, but you got the Russian touchdowns all through the and none of the pass catcher really got there. So I think we want to just be more mindful and kind of open to how we're stacking versus saying these are the only ways to stack and therefore I'm going to do it in every lineup because I do think the DFS world has kind of gotten to that point. Yep, the way that it's easy for me to build a handbuilding and then you mentioned the optimizer part is who's the stack, who's the double stack, and then I pick somebody on the other side. Like that example last week, if you would have said, hey, Caleb, Swift, and I'm going to use Coker on the other side of what have smashed, it would have been awesome. But I bet a lot of people what they did is they did Caleb two pass catchers and Coker. And you might have looked to your line of like, oh my gosh, I had Caleb and Coker. And yet everybody was probably stacking on them with loveland and Odunze or even just like a skinny stack and you look up and you got a goose egg. So just trying to give people options. There's lots of different ways to do this and lots of different ways to screw this up and not get it right. Absolutely. Absolutely. Let's go to the first game. It's Washington at Dallas. The over under is 50 and a half. Dallas is a four and a half point home favorite in Jerry's world. And when you're in Jerry's world, you know that points are going to be scored. We talked about this all last year about, you know, Dallas games combined for 59 points every single week. This is how it goes. And we thought and I assumed that maybe the defense to get a little better. If you watch the game on Sunday night, just watch the tape bets. You would have seen a Cowboys defense that allowed a 59% play success rate. How bad is that? That's the second highest rate for any Cowboys defense since 2018. So did it get fixed? After one week, the defense did not get fixed. They did not look very good. And they're going to be down Leak Hooker in the secondary and likely to marry on Obershown as well at Limebacker. So we have two starters out for the Cowboys who they just have lost defensively. You know, Matt and Aggie and Jira, the boys were cooking in the booth together on Sunday night. How tip to them? They literally called an awesome, awesome game plan. But I will say the way that game went on Sunday, you know, obviously the Giants did what they wanted to do offensively. It was great. I think the commanders have a ceiling that's worth chasing in this game because of what we saw defensively from Dallas and obviously the total says that I will say starting on the Dallas side of the football offensively, how many times we're going to get literally just two drives in the second half from Dak this year, like maybe just once all year and it was a week one. So I of course would just love to say that's not going to be sticky. This offense is still going to be great. You know, pick and drop to couple and things just didn't go like back through a, you know, a horrible interception, you can't do that, but like we know what this offense can do. And I was hoping to be able to kind of maybe get some of these pieces at lower Ross percentage. Unfortunately, it looks like everybody is excited to play the cowboy. So that is the only downside of this game is that if you are going to play it, just understand you're going to be playing, you know, potentially a popular deck, very, very popular Javante. I think a lot of cash bills are going to have one of CD or George Pickens. So just consider that in your lineup, but I do want to play this game. I mean, it's got the highest total on the slate. And obviously these defenses look like they could struggle. So I do want Dallas how to play it smartly is the key. Yeah. People are going to run back to the fact that the over is hidden each of the last seven Cowboys games. They failed to cover the spread each of the last six. It feels like a very cowboy step because they can't cover and yet. The dudes are the dudes like it's, it's not super complicated with the Dallas side. But when you look at DAX going to be a popular cash play CD, I think is going to be a very popular cash play. It's kind of hard to figure out like what's the best way to go. And Pickens obviously has a ceiling outcome that everybody wants to chase. So all of that is there. We remember how bad the commanders were last year. They gave up the highest yards per attempt in the league, but I've been doing some digging bets. I think I know where to go with this, Kyle's hand in the dirt, take it the week. I feel like this is from like a 90s like like the theme song to this makes me feel like I'm watching like the intro like a movie I would have watched in like elementary school like in the 90s. They would have rolled out, they would have rolled out the cart. And they obviously would have, you know, the tape was rewound and then that was like a little informational video about like how textiles are made or something. That's exactly what I'm picturing. That's what I stole from you know, I went to the tape grind to the tape, but here's my hand in the dirt take of the week. Also, I got to figure out am I going to use that drop for the first match up every single week? I'm going to tease it. I think you got to surprise people. Okay. I just really liked this one. Okay. So Dan Quinn is the head coach of the commanders. Remember used to be the defensive coordinator for Dallas last week against your Eagles. They use two high safety looks on 70% of dropbacks. That's like a wild amount. And yet the Eagles were still like able to have those kind of big shot plays. It was weird. Like the Eagles game plan was like let's do everything short and be ineffective. And yet where they were more successful was down the field. But if you look over the last year plus what have Cowboys pass catchers done against two high looks, it's CD lamb by a mile 24% targets per out run, 2.2 yards per out run. And then 27% first street target. The key is the dude. If you're trying to prefer a witch option here, it does not mean I'm not going to play pickings. It just gives me more confidence with lamb at 7,300. I know pickings is actually a thousand dollars cheaper on Fandall. It's closer. But I think this is going to be a good CD game. I like it. I like going right back to CD here. That makes a lot of sense to me. Do you think they are cost prohibitive to play a double stack with stack? I think so because what you're asking is Dallas to roll or for Washington to push back. And I think that there's so many other plays on this slate, especially at running back that I'm trying to fit in that I think it's really hard to have a double stack of these guys. I can do the math real quick, but like you're going to need 65 plus points, 75. The thing I was thinking is like, it's probably viable to fit them this week, but when I'm thinking like, who are they going to be paired with in tournament? Probably Dalton Schultz, probably Hutchinson or one of the other cheap wider sievers. Then you have Ross percentage problem because DAX is not sneaky and CD is not sneaky and there's pickings, right? So that's not only a thing. So I'm going to be kind of closely monitoring what we have in owner. ownership over the weekend and the optimizer to figure out how to play this. But like I said, I do want pieces here. Maybe it's just a mini correlation with Ytersever on one side and Ytersever on the other or Javante and a Washington guy. I'm not sure. But I just, I want to bet on these offence as kind of bouncy back and it's specifically doubtless putting up points here at home. Yeah. You need 70 combined points from a DAX CD pickins double stack to just three and a half acts. So that's where you need DAX and pickins have really good correlation over the last 17. If you want to look there, it really just comes down to like, I'm probably just going to single stack it and then try to figure out on the other side. Any interest in turd Ferguson, they had a weird tight in rotation last week. I'm very interested because he's going to show up a little lower than he should because of how the field is going to approach tight end of punting it off with sholts and some of these other guys. So yeah, I'm totally fine throwing him in as a third piece. The only on DAX teams little DAX side piece right here, side piece where you need to touch down. Yeah. I do. I'm cool with it. I do think Javante is, we brought him up in cash. It's like a solid role. If you say I want to play Javante and you think you want to play one of the receivers, I get it. I like if DAX not the piece that you need this week and Jaden's on the other side or you go somewhere else like you can play it that way. Yeah. For sure. And you just hope you get all the touchdowns. But that's really viability. We've kind of learned over the years too when we talked about this in Bestball. Sometimes you don't need the quarterback to go with, especially if a cheaper option can match or exceed your quarterback score. So even if DAX has a great game, but let's just pretend one of these 5K quarterbacks goes out for 30 points and DAX gives you 24. It's like, well, DAX is still great. But because of the salary savings that you got from your quarterback who beat DAX, that is more valuable to you in internment. So I just think you want different iterations of this game and I'm going to be a total coward here in sale. Probably play a different iteration in most of my lineups, if I'm being honest. DAX has always been one of those players that's had pretty big splits and wins and losses, which you can save for a lot of guys. Last year, it was a massive split. He was 24 points per game and wins and just 13 and losses. So, you know, we're looking at the Lions F4 and a half. You think that DAX is going to win. I think DAX obviously is a solid play, but I am willing to get weird. What about on the Washington side, Jaden was not good as a passer if you're just looking at statistics. He was 31st among 32 quarterbacks in completion rate, 30th in YPA, 30th in catchable target rate. And yet, because he ran, he was okay for fantasy and so like, that's always going to be the thing where we look at Jaden and go, I don't really care what his stats, like what you think he's going to be as a passer is a terrible defense. And he runs, so a skinny stack with Jaden can totally get there. For sure. And I think my preference on how to play it for this week is probably with Terry McClure. And I know Stefan Diggs was a lot better last week. He's still a really good target owner. Stefan Diggs is, but if you just rewind two weeks ago, right, before the season started, we were drafting Terry McClure in the fifth round. And Diggs was kind of like a ninth-ish round type guy and now they're priced basically the exact same on both sites, 5200 on DK for Terry, 6 count Fandall, he's a really good value on Fandall, and then Diggs 5300 on DK and 6100 on Fandall. So they are the exact same price, and I just want to zoom out on kind of the guy that has more of those deep opportunities. Hope they catch a big play here, which does fit the scoring system a little bit better on Fandall. So I think my preference is to play my Washington teams over on Fandall where Bill is a better value. Terry is a better value. Diggs is a better value there too. So they're all good plays over there relatively speaking, but I think I'm going to play mine more through Terry this week and just kind of hope the pendulum swings back. Yeah. Antonio Williams was like a fun play as a rookie, ran 11 routes last week, but Deimy Brown was ahead of him. So if you're just like box score scouting, you could see a touchdown for the rookie. I think it's a pretty thin play. They did run a ton of 11 personnel, 72% of their snaps, which was very different than how they played last year. Do we have an update on Chigga Conco, you know, podcast favorite if he's still alive? Is it, is he hurt? I thought you were about to hit the button. No, I'm trying to find the button. Where's the, oh, here he is. I thought that was something I said. Absolutely nailed it. I'm just waiting for you because I saw you reach for the button. He did was not seem practicing on Thursday either. So two DMPs with the hamstring injury likely going to be out. Okay, so I don't even know where our Ben Senate drop is anymore. I don't even think it works. Corporate actually made a scrub that. Yeah, it never existed. So I do think Bill is a fun contrarian play this week on Fandall. So bringing it up, yeah, 6K is a good, a good tag for running back on Fandall. And I, I don't think he'll be very popular either. Yeah, he ran 13 routes last week, which for Bill is like a big deal. He ran that many routes just twice all of last year. So I think he's an interesting tournament play as well. Any last thoughts you want to say about this game? I don't think so. All right. I will take the over. I was going to take the over Kyle. Dang it. Now you just cursed us. Yeah. It's definitely going under now. Way to go, dude. Okay. So we don't really take overs in general, predicting game flow. But I do need to read word for word. A message I got this morning from one Matthew Betts. I know we don't do overs here, but, and then he gives me a prop that he kind of liked. I did like that prop and, well, by the time you're listening to this, you'll know if it hit. Okay. Because it wasn't Thursday night football. I just, I just wanted to be clear. It's not just me. So I, you know, we got to mix them in. You know, keep people on their toes. I do like that. It's a really fun one to root for. So it is. I'm going to be excited for it. Next one is Cincinnati at Houston. This game has somewhat sourd a little bit in my mind, mostly because we're waiting on Nico Collins news to see where he's at. I know Joe burrow was at practice on Thursday, but the Texans are two and a half point or three point favorites depending on your book over under 46 and a half. The defense was decimated last week by Josh Allen, which were like, man, I didn't think that was possible. And then the Bengals game plan last week was like not helpful for fantasy purposes. It was great in terms of it worked against the Buccaneers. They, you know, got the ball really quickly, 30% of their targets were to tight ends. Joe burrow wasn't pressured. It's great for the real life NFL. If we get that type of usage again, we will riot because we need our Jamar chase points. We need our T Higgins points. So where do you want to approach this game, Bengals and Texans? Well, if we assume Nico is not going to play, which, you know, you'll know as the day goes on kind of what this looks like, but if we assume he is out, I have, it's kind of tricky because like on one hand, that makes the Stroud stacks cheap and interesting where it's like, you can put your quarterback with, you know, pick whoever you like, pick Xavier Hutchinson or Kachon Booty or Jill and Noel Schultz, whatever it is for you. You can do all of that and spend up everywhere on studs elsewhere in your lineup. So that is appealing to me, especially because under the Bengals, defense played better in week one than obviously what they were last year. I'm not sure where the truth is going to be on this defense, you know, it's one game, how much stocking really couldn't do it. But if we assume that maybe that comes back down to Earth a little bit after their performance last week with what, four turnovers from the bucks, then Stroud stacks are interesting just because they're so cheap. The problem with that is that like I said, those wider Sievers and that tight end adult and Schultz are so popular that it creates kind of a roster percentage issue for me. So I'm kind of stuck on how to handle this game on the other side. I want to go right back to Jamar Chase, you know, week one, mega chalk, everybody played him, I played him, didn't do anything. And it's like, do we really think Micah Sikki is going to be targeted on basically every route he ran, you know, last week, which was just absurd, probably not. So let's just bet on, on, you know, what's the most rational thing to happen? Oh, Jamar Chase is still him. Yes, the matchup is difficult. And I do think the Joe Burrow back thing that I largely think will be fine, but I do think that will, will weigh some and people's minds being like, do I really want to play his wider Sievers? You know, Burrow was banged up this week. So if we can sneak Jamar Chase past this week, low-ish, roster percentage, I am definitely interested in doing that. Yeah, one of the things that I wrote up in the pace of play articles, I linked an article that we've talked about over the years, it's called making the most of matchups. And the key point that I keep coming back to over the years is we tend to double count really hard defensive matchups specifically with cornerback wide receivers. That's like one of the things that like in our psyche, we look at that and we often go, man, this is going to be really tough. This is a tough matchup against this, you know, against Derek Stuney Jr. But wide receivers, especially the high-end ones. And I think most people would agree, Jamar Chase is one of the best league. They're kind of immune. It doesn't really matter. So if you're going to get them at a lower roster percentage, that's what we want to do. Last week, if you would have said, you know what, the bills, they have no shot. Against the Texans on the road, Josh Allen, DJ Moore, Dalton, Concade, we're all awesome picks. So I don't mind going right back to the well there. Chase Brown's interesting. I don't think he's going to carry the same roster percentages that you saw last week. So kind of a contrarian play. If you want to look there, he did see a lot more action under center, 63% of his runs were there. It was just 41%. I will give them credit. Like the Bengals I said earlier, like from a real life NFL perspective, change things up and adjusted their game plan. And they won. They won last week. Dan Pitcher did come out. The offensive coordinator said, we didn't throw Jamar Chase the ball enough. Jamar's great. One of the first guys I talked to after the game. So let that motivate you. Let that add a point of projection and change your life. But yeah, we're going to go right back to Jamar Chase. Yeah, and I think it's one of those things like this might sound like so basic and silly to even like so Recommend I mean Kyle's basic sipping his pumpkin spice latte over there if there's one thing I do not want to be caught the rest of my life Well, that's what you are Is like I'm gonna pledge March 8th basically until we have the blog game because when you go back to kind of the last handful of seasons in 2023 he put up six points and five points in weeks one and two then exploded for 20 points in week three Okay, let's let's keep betting on this in 2024 slow start week one slow start and week two 27 fantasy points in week three Last year in week two after a stinker in week one 29 and a half fantasy points in week two so you know it is coming sooner than later I'm kind of keep playing until it happens, which hopefully it's this week Anything else you want to say on the text inside didn't Montgomery had three touchdowns last week But it was basically a 50 50 split between him and your boy Joe Quavius Woody marks um nothing Like you know nothing amazing to add analysis here, but I just want to point out if you are gonna play him I just prefer him over on Fandall where he is a much better salary relatively speaking All right, the line's at Houston minus three the other owners 46 and a half do you have a lien? I'm gonna go bangles plus three in the spot I think this this line's gonna keep coming down. I'm gonna take an under Not great vibes about it. It makes sense. It makes sense. It's not great vibes. Let's take quick break and we'll be right back We are back. We're gonna talk about a couple more games here And I will say the Saints at the Ravens this week. It's 47 and a half The line is now at Ravens minus seven and a half. I saw an eight and a half out there earlier Which was a little little fishy Considering we don't know say flowers is status right now But I just want to say from from just a football watching perspective. I am so excited about this game Yeah, this one's gonna be fun Killin more Lamar looks healthy Derek Henry. This is gonna be a good one The play styles for these two teams and I write this up every week in the pace of play Could not be more different like Baltimore is dead last in a lot of pace of play metrics And yet they're so efficient that it doesn't matter So what like one of them is their 28th and neutral pace that may sound like oh they're just slow and bad like They're so good at what they do and they're so good even when they stack the box against Derek Henry That they can just kind of you know push through he faced a stack box last week On 50% of his rush attempts and he still ran for 144 and six yards of carry against stack box he's just not normal and The Saints front was pushed around last week you saw against the lions They gave up the second most yards before contact per attempt a 25% explosive rush rate like all of these stats Say that this can be a Derek Henry game again And then it brings us back to what the Saints are which is you know up tempo Everything we want their first and first half pace third and pass rate of expectation like It kind of sets up that way where you get a cheaper St stack with the Henry as the main piece from the Ravens like that's the I think that's the obvious way to build this game For sure, and I really can't poke any holes in it considering the spread I mean we know what Henry does generally speaking when the Ravens are or when his team is favorite and when they win the game And maybe the Saints can cover the spread, but I think most people will be surprised if New Orleans wins this game But seven half point favorites at home Yes, Derek Henry's gonna get fed the football especially without Z-Flower So I do think he is just straight up a good play Um, the way that I'll be approaching him is likely trying to figure out Like what is the combination of Henry lineups that are most likely to be seen in tournaments probably with Dalton Schultz Probably with Bijan so just kind of thinking like I want my exposure But I want to be kind of mindful of how I'm playing Derek Henry, but I just think he's a great play Um, how are you handling Lamar without say and do you have interest in Batman? I know you mentioned Mark Andrews, but do you do you think it's worth kind of chasing like cheap Ravens receiver? I think it's interesting because I like I like looking like even on Fandall where Henry's expensive is 8700 But like that's a place where what you need is touchdowns out of Henry, right? That's like what he does best, but it would not shock me if let's say Henry entered up with one touchdown And it's not the 100 yard bonus in some of these spots like Batman F at 5k Is playable on Fandall I hate saying that because he feels like a player that just keeps being given opportunities despite not doing anything But I don't mind that at all. I think Lamar is a very good play and we'll talk about him more and more But I think he's a very good play I did I did think it was funny your point you're bringing up about Henry lineups Now you're like, "Band, do I really want to mix him like what dare Henry and Dalton Schultz ever hang out in real life? Probably not I don't know maybe Dalton Schultz looks super fun to hang out with you know I'll have to do a deeper dive on his real life and what he really does But yeah, I think that is the key point in this game is the chalkiest pieces are going to be Henry and Bailey And in Olave like those are going to be the plays that people want to go to So just being conscious of that like it can work, but if you're eating into the chalk here with those two pieces like Let's say you're just playing Henry and Bailey or Henry and Olave You're thinking about the rest of your lineup not just being as chalky Yeah, I think that's a good way to put it um and we saw last week like when when the Saints get down They're willing to try to just let Tyler Schuck um Chuck it and it may not be the most efficient thing in the world, but for the game that we play That's cool. You know if it did 300 can certainly pay that off Know you're not going to get the amount of plays they ran last week, but When the ball is going to basically You know in the past game Olave Bailey and Joanne Johnson those guys are going to be playing every single week because of the pace they play with So I have interested in all those guys I think Joanne Johnson in a normal cash slate where we don't have a Nico Collins injury and Some cheaper guys available Michael mayor I think you would probably be in the cash conversation, but for this week He's not going to be he was last week. So I do think he is kind of a sneaky Just go right back to the well for a cheaper tenant and whenever cheap tenants are in play for cash and they become popular in tournaments I'm always just looking for pivots in that range to just get unique I think Joanne Johnson could be one of those guys this week Travis agent juniors kind of interesting he saw nine targets last week And I know that it was the extra game the or the extra you know Over time, but Interesting this week the Ravens quietly allowed a 31% explosive rush rate last week That was the worst in the league Jonathan Taylor had a couple of big runs So interesting as a You know in game pivot here a little leverage point if you want to look that direction My my little hand in the dirt without pressing the button take Is that Jesse mentors is the head coach of the Ravens He was with the chargers before that michigan Anyway, they had a lot of pressure last week and they allowed the lowest past success rate of any team the league And the way they did that is they had a ton of time. So in other words they basically said don't be too steep And they surrendered a ton of underneath stuff. So I think valet and Johnson Where their roles are at on the field. I think they're very interesting valet saw a ton of targets when shook was blitz last week So I do have confidence in valet even at this price point Yeah, I'm with you. I don't I don't think they raised him up enough for the role he has with Jordan Tyson on IR All right, so the line seven and a half I That's I'm going Saints. I'm going Saints plus the points man. I think Zay is just one of those guys and he matters to me You know beatman and debaunt has Walker like I think the Saints can keep it close. What do you think about that over under? I mean, I know that like we played in multiple ways where we build lineups will say hey, you know I have a Henry lineup and I'm not playing anybody from the Saints side and get away from that chalk You're playing that lineup as if the game hits the under But I think there are real scenarios where you know Henry eats Lamar eats and then the Saints side just kind of chips away And did what they did last week because you get so many plays in the game. So It's a good line at 47 and a half It is I lean over but I could see this going out of the direction Okay We do need to give some bonus shout outs because there's a couple of games that are up in the air that we talked about earlier the bears and the Vikings game We're waiting on Kyler news As of this recording and I think it's an interesting one if you want to play that Especially bears It's wild a team scores 59 points and yet this week nobody's gonna be playing them Isn't that crazy? I guess it's the matchup. That's why DFS is so Different than any other like obviously in bestball every game matters. You're not setting your lineup Redraft you're playing your bears this week, right? Like you're playing the dudes that just put up 59 points and yet we look at it and go I mean Caleb 6800. That's kind of expensive Lovelins good But like there's cheap options this week and then we don't know what to do with receivers and it's a bad matchup And so I still think bears are very viable Yeah, for sure and and you know Last week Jordan love got there in DFS because He was able to hit some shot plays Christian Watson hit a long crossing pattern when he took to the house, but What I talked about that last week when we did a recap show with just the way that Brian Flores blitz It increases the variance of what can happen in the game and if Caleb can handle that blitz and Ben Johnson He actually has had good success against Brian Flores You know if they I can at least like run the football and kind of keep the blitz rate down a little bit. I think Caleb can have a good game here, but I will say there's a wide range of outcomes. And that's when I like to play these guys is when there is a wide range of outcomes at low-rost percentage. So I mean, Swift looked great last week, the run game looked great, Colson Loveland. We don't think it's going to goose every week. Like yeah, let's play him again, especially now that he's cheaper than he was last week and with no roster percentage. So I'm with you. I didn't think this game is sneaky. My fear is that it becomes not sneaky. If it is Carson wants, people will say, "Oh, I can play a cheap person once." What's Jefferson? And then I'll play a bear on the other side. So just something to consider throughout the weekend, but it is on my short list for sure. Yeah. I mean, between Wins and Aaron Jones, it's very cheap on the other side if you want to figure out that. I did want to bring up San Francisco on slots because San Francisco is a 13 and a half point home favorite. That is just juicy stuff. And I was looking at it. I was like, "How often has this happened in Brock Perty years?" So in the Brock Perty era, the 49ers have been favored by 10 or more points nine times. They're 9 and 0 and they scored 27 plus points in all nine of those games. So in other words, we look at their implied total and we go, "Huh, 29 and a half points." This team can certainly hit it. And based on that, you could pick two or three 49ers and you don't even need a doll from the other side. Now, I know people want to play Caleb Douglas. I even think Lee Washington's kind of interesting. But leaning into San Francisco is definitely a way you can build this week. Yeah, for sure. I think you can play Perty with McCaffrey if you wanted. I think there's some uncertainty. How much of the Kaelin Black Roll from last week is here to stay and how much of it was just the one game kind of blip with travel and who knows, right? So I think McCaffrey might project better than he does right now if that didn't happen last week. And because B-John is 8200, McCaffrey might be not sneaky, but like you might get him at 12, 15% something like that where normally you'd be like, "Oh, the Niners are going to win this game." And McCaffrey's only 8K, he'll probably be 30%, but he won't be this week because of B-John. So I do think McCaffrey is kind of a good pivot in the top range there. And then I really like Mike Evans this week, just kind of given the state of the Widers you've room with, you know, Pierce All and Stribbling on IR and, you know, who knows on Kittles, SnapCount and Usage this week, but it was limited in the first game back off the Achilles. They kind of have to go to Mike Evans here and obviously to match up is great. So I do like Mike Evans quite a bit this week, and you can play a Widers even from Miami if you wanted. Those guys are just cheap enough that you hope you get kind of the PPR volume from last week. Slatebreaker of the week. All right, I'm going to give my Slatebreaker first because I was very quiet about this player when we did the match up earlier. Man, this sets up so well for a Lamar plus Mark Andrew's classic week. And I failed you, Bets, because I have a Lamar and Andrew's shirt that, you know, I have it's one of those NFL GM shirts and I forgot to wear it. Wow, this is the times and the opportunities to wear that shirt are literally going down week by week. You have to, you have to pick your spots, man. Come on. Yes. For an audio only podcast, I have screwed it up. All right, let me just give you a little hot take here. So Derek Henry is a good play. So let me be very clear. I'm not telling anyone don't play Derek Henry. But I do think Lamar Jackson is going to come in much lower than he deserved because people are going to look at the pricing and go, he's the most expensive quarterback. I do not want to pay that this week, especially in the 6K range, or if we get a really cheap guy, these saints last week played a wild amount of cover three against the lines last week. They didn't have any man coverage snaps. The problem is is they got killed in the run game. And with the Ravens pass catching core kind of being depleted of Zays not there, I think you're going to see a ton more single high safety looks, man and man coverage. Basically, let's put seven or eight men in the box to try to stop Derek Henry. That seems very common sense. We'd all want to do that since 2023, when seven or more men are in the box, Lamar Jackson rings number one in yards per attempt, number one in quarterback rating and number one in fantasy points per dropback, when they have a stack box, I will be using Lamar skinny stacks with our boy Mark Andrews one more time, one more time in tournaments to gain some leverage here. I'll be playing Henry Lannops, but I think this is a good way to also gain some leverage. So sad that in week two, we're like, this is your last chance to pay Mark Andrews, but I honestly can't argue if you say you might be right, but this is the last chance. But it doesn't make a lot of sense. And like you said, kind of because of the person dynamics to in that cheap range of tight end, he feels a little expensive, like I'll just play Dalton Schultz, you know what I mean? So I do think he will be under rostered relative to how often he is a quote, good place. I like that call quite a bit. I just mentioned it. I like Mike Evans. I'm going to go with him in the spot against the dolphins. I think a lot of people are with me in the matchup, but people see the spread and they get concerned about how the game flow is going to be and they get worried about that. But it's like, man, if we just trust pretty in the Niners to put up 20, 30, 35 points, hopefully Mike Evans is part of that equation. And I think because of his price, you will get some coverage in terms of roster percentage on like how popular he can be because people do want to take, I think on this slate, a stars and scrubs type of approach. And so that mid range, you know, 6K 5K range, I think we'll get underplayed on the slate. So that's one of my favorite tournament strategies this week is kind of to build through there. And Mike Evans makes a lot of sense in this matchup. Gosh, when you hit Mike Evans at the right moment in DFS, it's like a flurry of points. It's now, I feel like whenever I've gotten Evans like on like 30 bombs, it's such a good feeling, especially if the fields not as on to them as they should be. Yeah, you can just kind of see it in this game where it's like 6 catches, 100 yard bonus, two of them are touchdowns. Come on, Mike Evans. We need you, buddy. Prop it like it's hot. Every single week, we get to give a prop here on the podcast, but all of our props you can find in the DFS pass, we notify our community and discord. We alert you when we are taking them so that you can ride with us. And this week, the one that you have makes me so happy inside. This is one of the players that whenever I give notes, so part of my job, you guys probably know is I give notes in the main show when we preview stuff, whenever it's Tony Pollard, I give start sit questions, but it's like, would you rather start Tony Pollard or get a voluntary colonoscopy? Like those are the kind of answers I give for Tony Pollard. So any chance I get to dunk on Tony Pollard is like the best thing in the world. So bets right here is going to take an under on Tony Pollard, don't be, do not be mean to Tony P. He's been a good running back in the league for a long time. However, the state of the Titans is not good and they are a touchdown underdog against the Eagles. And so I'm going to take under 12 and a half rush attempts and basically it's just let's play into the spread, the systemic concerns of the cam ward and kind of how the offense function last week. Now I think they'll run more place. They ran 49 last week or whatever it was, which is outlier low. But this is a 50 50 split in terms of time share in terms of being on the field. Only 52% of the snaps last week and we've seen this the last couple of years when Spears has been on the field, Pollard is averaged about 13.2 rush attempts for game when Spears is off the field. That number goes all the way up to just under 20 carries in a game. So I just don't know that you're going to have a lot of upside for rush attempts in this spot for the for the Titans and for 20 pilots, you mean the under 12 and a half. Yeah, they had the highest pass rate in the NFL. The Titans did in week one and that game was like close. I mean, that's kind of what I think Dable wants to be, but I don't know if you can do that with cam ward. Is it really hard? I think I brought this up in the dynasty podcast, but when you look at their game logs, it's like they started the game with a field goal. And then it was what seven punts in a row until it touched out the end. It was just like just sad, man, just it's sad when you see people like Tony P, you know, at this point is queer because there was a plant where we wanted to play Tony Pollard. And he was the young hotness. Yeah. And the Zekers, remember that? Yeah. Zek's old bust to get Tony Pollard in there. All right. I'm going to take a very unpopular under here. And I don't know if you support this and that's okay. It's not an official one yet. You can tell me on it. Jordan Love, who passed for 387 yards last week. Okay. So his line right now is very elevated based on what he did last week. I'm taking the under of 257 and a half passing yards. Last week's elevated pass rate was really fun for the likes of golden and Watson. I don't think it will always be that way. This game projects to be a lot, you know, a lot bigger of a slog right now. The overrunners at is at 42 and a half and the jets were 30th neutral pace last week. It's just a lot slower. And then Aaron Glenn, the way that he played last week and I think he's turned to the corner like Aaron Glenn Frank, right, man. These guys are growing up before our eyes. Our elders are growing up before it was a ton of cover two, two eye shell looks to not get beat deep. I think they're going to look at the tape last week from Christian Watson running that crosser for 80 yards and save themselves. We're not going to get beat deep like that. I think you're going to see a lot of underneath stuff and a much slower game pace this week. So under 257 and a half passing yards, the packers also kind of struggled on the football last week. I think they'll have a little more success with that this week, just given the matchup. And the thing about the Green Bay offensive line is that it's kind of a disaster right now. And so I'm not calling an upset. I'm not calling an upset, but I'm saying I would not be surprised to see this game go back and forth and kind of come down to the wire in a low scoring slog type of game. Because like you said, Aaron, nothing to make Aaron Glenn happier than to slow the game down, play great defense, kind of manage the game. I think that's definitely possible here. So this does make sense. Sadly, I hate taking unders on Jordan love because he's such a spiky kind of splash player. So I love mid DFS, but the under does make sense here. I mean, it's wild when you think that he had the second most passive yards of any player last week. Shuck, obviously had the overtime, but he had the lowest completion rate of any quarterback because that 50% last week. Yeah, his, what was his YPI, I didn't even see it was basically had two or three plays that kind of extended everything. And when you have, you go 21 to 42, 9.2 YPA, that's not something that's repeatable. Yeah, it's not. Well, take a look at this, I tented my pants. Hopefully last week, you heard us on the podcast say, hey, here's some options for survivor pools. And when we previewed the Chargers game, I don't think we sat there and said, hey, the Chargers are going to upset, but we both said we're going to take the Cardinals to cover. And they, of course, the Chargers did the Chargers thing. And so there was just something a little fishy up. So that's why we did not take the Cardinals last week. We talked about the Jaguars. We also left open the door for the Steelers and the Steelers became our official pick. And we notified everybody in Discord. Yeah, usually that'll be Saturday after noon slash evening. Once we have final injury news and everything like that. But I thought last week there was a lot of really good options. And so just doing what everybody else was doing didn't feel good. And there was, like you said, something fishy about the Cardinals ban in that game against the Chargers this week. I do think there are two slam dunk picks. So I don't know which way we're going to go yet. But you're going to see this in a lot of survivor entries. And I think for good reason, the 49ers, they are home as basically two touchdown favorites against Malik Willis and the dolphins. They're just a better roster top to bottom at basically every position that got a better head coach. It makes a lot of sense. The only concern I have is that they literally did just travel the globe. So could they be a little sluggish in the first half and kind of make this game closer than it needs to be, maybe, but I'd be shocked if they lost this game. And the only other thing with San Francisco is they have other matchups that we would think about saving them for. That's a good point. Yeah. So obviously, if you want to pick them for this game, do it. They should win. But they have a really good schedule this year where like next week they get the Cardinals, they get the commanders a few weeks later than the Falcons, the Raiders, the Cardinals against. There are going to be spots to use them later for the Bucks. They don't really have easier matchups on the schedule than the one this week against to Sean Watson. So I think I lean Tampa as of this recording, but we'll make sure I get your official updates in Discord Saturday afternoon. I think that's where I lean as well. And right now the Buccaneers are eight and a half point home favorites. Todd Monkin is very familiar. Yeah, he's very familiar. He was the Bucker revenge. He's the Bucks OC and Baker's OC and Baker gets revenge. It's like, it's everywhere. If you want to double count that. But I think I lean Tampa Bay based on the schedule. And because I hate thinking about taking Tampa Bay in a divisional game because they tore a heart out last year and we, what, 15? Yeah, they're easiest matchups coming up after this are basically NFC southwards. Like, you have Falcons, Panthers and Saints. I mean, those games go any direction when you've seen that over the last three or so. I feel best about the Bucks this week if you're going to use the Bucks. But like you said, you have the Niners too. If you don't feel comfortable. So both of those guys are both these teams, I should say, are great options. That's going to do it for this week. Make sure you check out all of our tools in the DFS pass and reach out in Discord. We've got some lovely, lovely people that would love to answer your questions. Bet's. Tell them goodbye. Yes. Summary:

FAQs

Players like Dalton Schultz (3.2), Xavier Hutchinson (if Nico Collins is out), and Bijan Thomas (8.2) offer strong salary relief. These players are especially valuable when combined with other cheap options to build balanced lineups.

Carson Wentz is a potential starter, especially against the Bears with a favorable matchup. He's available at a low price and offers salary relief, making him a solid option if he starts.

Bijan Thomas, Derek Henry, Javante Williams, and Aaron Jones are top choices. Derek Henry is particularly strong due to Zay Flowers' injury and the Ravens' game plan, while Jones benefits from Jordan Mason being placed on IR.

Yes, Jamar Chase remains a strong play. The matchup against the Texans is favorable, and despite last week's underperformance, he's a consistent value at a low roster percentage.

Yes, focusing solely on cheap receivers can lead to over-reliance on value plays. While they offer savings, they may not provide high ceilings. A balanced approach with some top-tier players is recommended.

The Washington vs. Dallas game is a top priority due to its high total, weak defenses, and strong offensive matchups. Stacking options like CD Lamb and Javante Williams are viable, though double-stacking is risky due to high salary and low correlation.
