Week 19 sleepers and two star pitchers up next on fantasy baseball today express Welcome into fbc express on Saturday, July 25th. I am Frank sample joint by scot white and let's preview week 19 We will start with the schedule 15 teams with seven games next week normally. I read off all the teams with seven games I'm not reading off 15 teams 14 teams with six games and there is one team with five games That is the Rockies and what do you know another split week two on the road at the Padres three at home against the royals Starter sit these fringe two start pitchers and pain toly he's been up and down over the past month Got some really tough matchups next week to at the athletics and at the Dodgers I still think you started I think so too. What about his teammate Jake Bennett also pitching well, but tough matchups Yeah, those same tough matchups obviously athletics and Dodgers I don't know that the athletics themselves are such a tough matchup, but it is a tough place to pitch Yeah, probably less so for Jake Bennett since he's such a ground ball pitcher So I think advisable in most cases What about touch suit you my coming off a good start, but we've heard that before and he is at the Angels and home against the Rangers Which are pretty good matchups I'm not feeling it And I just think it's too risky and a point's league maybe you could justify it, but I'd rather just I'd rather avoid it all together Walbert or Rainier also coming off a good start. He gets the asterisans and the Brewers. So pretty tough matchups for him Yep, I would also leave him for points leagues What about Bubba Taylor also coming off a good start, but lots of bad mixed in there as well. He gets the debacks and at the reds I would also leave him for points leagues What about Merrill Kelly at the pirates and at the Guardians Uh Yeah, that seems like a point to league play too even though he's kept the ERA low recently kind of everything else is bad So you know you hope the he that uh he can provide enough volume limit damage well enough to get you some points with the two star week But there's there's not a lot of upside. Okay there Montero has somehow maintained a low ERA and whip all season He doesn't get a lot of strikeouts coming off a good start. He gets the Orioles and he's at the athletics Again, I'm willing to take a bigger risk and points leagues don't entirely trust with cater Montero has been doing but To to get a little extra volume in a format where it's so valuable you know provided I don't have to drop anyone important to do it. I could I could see using cater Montero and Zach Thorin who's looked pretty good since coming back Up to the Metz he gets the Braves and Marlins both at home Yeah, I think he's also fine for points leagues All right, let's move over to some two star pictures that you are looking to add and stream for next week who you got Not that many two star pictures but a few here we got Griffin jacks who I feel like it's just making a home on this list I don't know why he can't get that roster ray past 80% that things tend to be short but his most recent one he went six And His mashups you know there's two of them And once Texas so even better lately we've been liking jacks even when there's been one start Michael McGrievey two-star pitcher cubs blue jays are the matchups. So one not so good one good same as jacks McGrievey's just a quality star machine very good at limiting damage I think always a fine choice when he's in line for two starts Brady singer Again one good matchup cleveland in one bad pittsburg He's been on a roll lately and I don't I don't see Enough that's changed there and his process to make me think this is something that's durable But hot hand play with two starts. I think makes sense to give Brady singer a shot I finally Christian Scott gets the Braves and the Marlins. I think is His outings tend to run short to the point that he doesn't even go long enough to get the wins sometimes but the strikeout numbers are good I think at least in points leeks. Moore bounced back from a couple rough outings on Thursday followed an opener So maybe he maybe you should do that again and not technically start but I'll give you the bulk Against the Rangers favorable matchup this upcoming week Peter Lambert has Been on fire getting a lot of strikeouts lately facing the most strike strikeout prone team in the angels this week So continue roll with him Jared Jones last couple outings have been strong Which counts been low that kind of concerns me and a start where he's less efficient Willie give you the length that you need from him but Like I said two really good starts in a row down but backs not such a bad match up there for Jared Jones Shane Drowen Another pitcher whose outings have tended to be short, but it's been changing lately Uh, it's been allowed to go six plus innings recently and he gets the giants favorable matchup there Roki Sasaki now this depends how he does against the meds over the weekend if he gives back all his gains from his previous star when his fastball Had a lot of extra velocity um You know look like he may be turning the corner again, but if he gives it all back against the meds over the weekend I Probably want to want to use him against the Mariners next week as favorable matchup as that is So we'll just see for now. I'm including Sasaki And then image she and rounding out the list he gets the red socks who Don't rank quite as low as they used too offensively, but Now still in the bottom third of league and she and again innings Working deep into games has been an issue, but that is best. He can get a lot of strikeouts Let's light over to the hitters and the best matchups for next week We have the Yankees royals giants blue jays and guardians the worst hitter matchups Orioles dodgers white socks marlins and twins Who are your favorite sleeper hitters for week 19 price eldridge continues to impress On the baseball sivant page But the production's been a little A little bit so so it's it's dropped his roster rate back around 70 percent So that he qualifies for this list as you mentioned the giants have the third best hitter matchups I really think you just want to hold on to eldridge and No stop dropping and adding him is the streaks go, but uh Hopefully he catches fire again this week with those matchups jj blood day Um has been more down than up lately though there have been enough positive signs to hold out hope with him The splits really work in his favor this week with the reds playing seven home games and only one against the left-handed pitcher So I like jj blood a The guardians as you mentioned they have the fifth best hitter matchups Brian rokeos been hot and serviceable starter all year So I like him and I also Like Stephen quan who's kind of been hot for the first time this year, but has a lot of ground to make up given his Given where's batting air is normally is so I think this week will help and help help them to make up that ground Ty france have been one of the auditors in baseball over the past couple weeks or so and Padres Their matchups are pretty favorable even though they didn't rank in the top five they get the um The rockies pitching staff in San Diego for a couple games and then the giants So I think you continue to roll with typhance is only 17% rostered The royals as you mentioned have the second best hitter matchups I think that makes it a good time to give any past quantino a try and lane tomas has been uh Really hot only 18% rostered I wish there were more left-hander's on the schedule for lane tomas is sake, but lately it hasn't mattered I think what the match was being so good here Including a series that course field for the royals lane tomas makes for a fine choice and five outfielder leagues For the Yankees who have the best hitter matchups.
