Yes! Welcome into the show. Oh my. Monday, September 14th, I am so excited for Andy. I'm so excited for this episode because we were together all of yesterday watching all of these games. But this is our first chance to kind of like touch on all the different things we saw and how it impacts fantasy players. And, man, what a spectacular day! Yeah, it was really fun. I don't know why. Hold on a second. Oh, well come on. There's some changing happening to the set real quick. Let me just do some things. I've changed out the centerpiece. Yeah, that's fine. All right. No, I just signed Cardinals. If we're doing a mid podcast. Oh, we're going to change the early podcast change. He is now putting on a Cardinals jersey. He has replaced our footballer's hat with a David Johnson hat. Oh man, that's tight. All right. They're supposed to be fitted. He's got a card. And we are all in on the Cardinals. He's like, you know, he thought it was a dig when he's like, oh, you can celebrate while you can. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Yeah, we are well aware that this is our only opportunity. Nine and a half point underdogs. Call it right here on this show. You did have an almost upset. Although that Twitter was filled. Yeah. My Twitter was filled with well, two things. Impressed people and depressed. Charger fans. The chargers found a way to come on chargers. I mean, they are who they will always be just accept a disappointment. Charger fans are like Cardinal fans, but they like pretend. Now, hold on. I will say this because look, it's all fun in games. We are in Arizona where Cardinals fans or we try to be it's impossible. So it's fun. Most people might remember all of our negative comments all off season. Yeah. It's it's it's fun to celebrate, but we also, you know, leading up to week one, we kept saying, how do you not overreact to week one? Yada, yada, yada. It's impossible, but you have to be aware. And I would just like to remind people. Last year, yes. The Raiders went on the road in week one man to the New England pay. And they beat him 20 to 13. And it was like, Hey, maybe the Raiders are are okay. No, they were literally the worst team and they got the number one pay. So you're saying we can still get the number one pay. I am absolutely okay. And I'm saying that the chargers could still go to the Super Bowl like the Patriots. And I'm just saying that the Cardinals are at home home opener against the backup quarterback drew lock of the Seahawks. That's all I'm saying. I'm just saying even worse. I'm just saying the division. They got to come through. I know they got to come through Arizona. So yeah, part of the ridiculous weekend, we had the highest scoring opening weekend. Was it ever? Yeah. 53.3 points per game average NFL record for opening Sunday. Thanks bears. Kind of pushing that average up. Yeah. I do. It was a crazy week. We got so much to talk about Mike was there with you Sunday live, which was spectacular leading into kickoff. So many of you were on the ultimate dashboard at join the foot com. Loading up the rosters and optimizing for week one and all the rankings. We still got a game tonight. We still got a fun game tonight Kansas City and Denver. We get to see K bone. Hopefully we have. Hopefully it's fun. Oh, I can see this being a defensive battle. We had so much offense yesterday. You know what? That's all right. And I will say this. It's all right. We did escape with not too many injuries. Not that there were zero. But I was saying for an opening weekend, it was pretty pretty good, especially after the Wednesday, Thursday, barrage of injuries started the week. It was like, oh, no, that was a great weekend of foot. Yeah, or great Sunday. Yeah. I mean, the only real injury that there's a couple and one of them was another my guy. Yeah. So that's cool. That's cool. That's cool. The only the singular charger. You said an excuse. The singular charger that did anything. Right. It was very. It was only contributing factor to the entire charger's offense that week. It was a major. Lad looked like maybe his organs are strange. He looked like it just it was a meaty like, whoa, this was this was the call. This was a great call. Lad is going to be the dude heavily featured. And then Justin was like, hey, lad, how about you go to the hospital? That was not a good pass. No, because you can't. As a little guy into coverage. You can't do that. You can't do that. You guys. But he didn't. Then lad suffered the consequences. Mike, you posted a kind of a quick question. What did you post on Twitter? Yeah, I posted it. Look, after week one, what is the hottest offseason question? You believe it's already solved because we figured it out. Yeah. Cardinals are not a super bowl because we say don't overreact. But you do need to react. Like there is stuff that happens in week one, where you're like, that is going to end up being what the truth is for that player or their team. The Arizona Cardinals. Here's my answer. The Arizona Cardinals offense will be what I thought it was going to be. It's going to be a good offense. You could say the charges are bad. Cardinals have too many good weapons to not be a good offense. So I think for fantasy, they may never win another game. In fact, the odds are probably against them doing so. But Jeremiah love, Tremick, bride, Michael Wilson, Kendrick, born in the slot. You know what? In the first day, it's a cardinals had one catch from Marvin Harrison. If you swapped jerseys with Marvin Harrison and Kendrick born, we'd be so happy. Right? Yes. You'd be like, dude, more eight catches. That is true. Yeah, eight. I believe so. I think it was like eight for 75. I do think that the Cardinals offense. We got eight for 75. For fantasy. Is that what it was? Yeah. I agree with you that I think the offense is going to be great. It the Seattle is a much different defense. Oh my gosh. These comments. So we we posted that Mike posted after equal on what is the hottest offseason question you believe is already solved. Here's some answers. You guys provided us. The chargers are still the chargers. Fantastic road in McDaniel is more weird than good. I I still think that is bad as what you saw this week. I you know what was wild is the Cardinals had like no past rush last year. And the chargers got their top tackles back. And why couldn't they protect him? There's one they protect you see the play. There's one constant on that offense guys. Oh, the quarterback. Yeah. The one who keeps just matrix dodging all blame around him. He's the one who's always there. Did you watch the highlight like the play where three Cardinals ran in free. The quarterback is the one who has to be like, Hey, I think we might need to change protection here. That's his job. But I can't imagine his protection was, Hey, you three offensive lineman go block that one. No, but I said he got because did you see that play? Yes. Three of their linemen went and blocked one guy. Yes, because because the edge on I think the left dropped into coverage and confused them. And then they were like, we don't know what to do. I mean, look, if it goes south for the charges this year, there you have no choice but to lay it at the feet of Herbert. We can't do the excuse making anymore. When you can throw the ball, like he can throw the ball. Yes. You, I mean, you look at that and you say, well, something else is going wrong, right? Yeah, but we have we have been there with some gunslingers in the past. Very very physically gifted. Maybe it's one of them. Maybe it's a week one snafu. Yeah, I mean, it's like one ship. It's one of the things that we think we did get an answer to fill says is the Cowboys defense better. Nope. And that's one of the things to me as well that it's like, oh, that one's that one's tough. I will. You got to give the credit to Jackson, the New York Giants, that offense was just absolutely firing the addition of fields and likely make such a difference to some optionality. You didn't have to just lean on neighbors. Also, Malik neighbors. Yeah, he's he's good. Did you see the how neighbors was able to finally decide to play. I did hear this. Yeah, John Harbaugh tackled him. Yes. John Harbaugh before the game tackled him and neighbors. You imagine if he injured. Can you fathom that? I had a thought of like hurt Harbaugh. Well, no, I don't. But yeah, I mean neighbors family didn't come to the game. Like that's how he was not really was really not sure if he was going to play. And he didn't want them to come if he wasn't going to play. And then Harbaugh was like, well, I'm going to tackle him. He's going to be fine. Yeah, I mean, you traded me. We did a CD lamb for neighbors. And I'm not sure I wouldn't rather have neighbors. Phil says, or so Sam, Parker Washington is the top dog for the jack, yeah, that one. I'm in on it. You think that's salt. Yeah, I think that's salt Matt Fernandez. There is no one A one B in Tampa. Bucky is the dude. Oh, just like I knew, baby, you knew that right when you were on the clock. Right when I was on the clock and decided to draft him. I was part of the sun started to shine and I could see. Bucky looked good. And you know what? Look great. Seven targets. Yes, yes. I'll say TBD on that one. I think mostly solved for me. I can't read that name. DJ Moore is still really good is another statement from a Twitter. I think for fantasy, he's going to be pretty good. That I knew that one. I think it's tough because it's like his huge play. The what was it? Whatever a 50 yard touchdown. Awesome. But it was the type where the DB fully sold out to catch the ball and with I like eight targets. And DJ Moore is just free to to house it. So not taking away from the play. But I wouldn't say that's what I'm taking away from the the DJ Moore is still really good. Okay, John says no one on the Tennessee Titans is startable for fantasy for that. Holy moly. Okay. So so carnival Tates of my guy because Carl Tate is an amazing play. And I'm already week one like crap. Did I? Is Cam Ward that bad? You can't get just even a smidge better. I was hoping that, you know, Brian Dable coming in and obviously the preseason was vanilla and they were going to skeen some stuff up. But this was the jets. I've never seen a more boring, terrible looking. It was like a preseason vanilla off. And like, wait, did you not realize this was week one? Cam Ward stinks, man. It's all I feel solved. It feels it feels it feels bad. Awful. Ryan said the 2025 Patriots were a product of an easy schedule. No, I wouldn't do that. I'm not going that far. That one I disagree with. Did you? So the Titans ran 49 total plays and only three in the red zone in that game. Did you see that the, I think the Saints ran 84 plays. So you look at the Saints numbers. That's almost, they had it more. It's almost double. Yeah, you had the extra time, but they ran so many plays. Yeah. And they also won the game. The New Orleans Saints lost by one. Congrats, Lions home fans. But that, that scoop and score on defense was an absolute nonsense. Call it, I don't, I still don't understand how that was not a fumble in any way. Shaper, and I don't see people even discussing. No, it's not coming. It's the NFL's not coming out and defending it. Like, anyways, there was a play where golf was dropping back to pass. It don't work as his intention was to throw it forward. So it was not a fumble because in his heart, he wanted to go forward with his past. I mean, it's just us waking up to the rule. Maybe, maybe, but I haven't seen someone like Mike San, I haven't seen like someone coming out. I've seen some posts that are like, should this have counted. Yeah. That type of stuff. Cause I don't understand. It's like, so if I'm, I just, I don't, it can be pure easy. No speculation. It's black and white. If the ball goes backwards, even if you're being hit with a forward passing motion, if it goes backwards, it's a lateral. All right. This is item one. Talk about the heart. If contact by an opponent, material affects materially affects a passer after the passer begins his throwing motion, it is a forward pass. If he passes the ball, regardless of where the ball strikes the ground, a player and official or anything else, when this occurs, intentional grounding rules do not apply, when the passer intends to throw a forward pass in his contact by an opponent, before beginning the throwing motion, the direction of the passes, the responsibility of the passer. If he passes the ball and intentional grounding rules, it sounds like they got it right. But I feel like we go back and find a dozen plays in the past where they have then got it wrong. Cause normally, you can say the rules are broken. Yeah. If you want. Yeah. Well, all right. That was it was turned into an exciting game. That pitch I threw. I intended to pitch it forward. Yeah. That's not a fumble. I mean, it does seem really silly because the problem, and if you didn't see the play, essentially Jared Goff went to throw a pass, it ends up being decidedly backwards because he was impacted while the throw happened. It was originally a fumble on the field, the Saints scooped and scored it. But then you're like thinking, well, nothing matters here on the review because a lateral is a fumble, right? If you threw the ball intentionally backward, so it doesn't matter. We were all surprised when it was overturned, unaware that that intent of the heart was such a big fact. That is an official rule. A couple other things. My, I think we're answered. I did not know if the Baltimore Ravens offense would be good or not with their offensive line changes, Declan Doyle. I mean, apparently you don't need Lyndon bomb for Derek Henry seems like he was just in the way. Like, hold on. Let me try and find the also the Bears defense stinks. I'm so thrilled about this. This was a tweet from Jamison Hensley says in offensive coordinator, Declan Doyle's first game as a play caller. The Ravens produced the first game in their 31 year history with this trifecta, a 300 yard passer, a 150 yard receiver and a 100 yard rusher. I think that metal one was the hard one to do. And I would say finally Sean minion did not fix the Philadelphia Eagles. They're offense. They won the game and they were. Okay. And hurts, it hurts ended up with, you know, like 47 runs in a yard. A good job. Part of the offseason reality that we have to face every years that when teams make changes, they make changes to improve. But half the teams don't improve from the changes like Brian Dable. The intention was to improve. Yeah. We didn't see it in week one. They should give them the win. They intended to win that game through one week. I will say this dumb rule. It's one week. It's too rookie wide outs. It's one coming off of injury. I'm not so sure the dolphins are going to be any good. Oh, the dolphins often. I could be really, really off on my Malik Willis house there. Do you, do you know what their schedule is? It's not good. Oh, it's as bad as the Cardinals. Let's, let's just real quick before the, by week, we get at San Francisco. Oh, I'm, I'm very aware of it. Can't just say they, there's two games they can win this year and the Bangalot, the Jets games, the two Jets games. Yeah. Now, if you look at the dolphins, if you don't, if you don't win week one against the, the Raiders, you have, you're not beating the bills. You're not going to beat the Patriots. Yeah. They play, they play the chargers, guys. Yeah, they play the chargers. The dolphins might not win again, given Sunday. Well, we have more reactions from the weekend as we always do. Yeah, I mean, you can't do that as a team. You have to develop and you have to hope. But man, that was bad. So Deandre Swift, three year, 33 million dollar extension. This was all prior to kickoff. Tucker Kraft, four year, 75 million dollar extension. Michael Mayer. Oddly timed three year, 45 million dollar extension timing of that one for the Raiders. Oh boy. - Any thoughts on those deals? - The Swift one is-- - Nice hat, Jason. - Thank you. I'm a die hard lifelong cardinal fan. (laughing) The Swift one is interesting, especially for dynasty leagues, where this was a team that over the last couple of years since Ben Johnson got there, there were rumors for them to take a high draft pick at running back. They were in the market on some of the bigger named running backs the way that the lines took Gibbs. And now they're like, hey, Swift is our dude. We're happy with him. And that's a big deal because this run game and this offense is going to be awesome. And what we saw from the Bears' defenses, they had a couple of offseason injuries that were unfortunate to their defense, really hurt them in it, is just so good for fantasy. 'Cause their defense looks very bad. - You realize they had almost 3100 yard rushers sort of? - I mean, they had two. Like a non-guy answer with-- - It was Caleb almost there. - Well, not quite, but I mean, he was in the '60s. That's how you do the stat with 100 from a non-guy and 120 something from Swift. They scored 59 points. I think their record-setting season is off to a good start. So our guys on the Bears had a good week, right? - Yeah. - Ooh, right? - Yeah. - Yeah. - It's your guy, Kalice. - If you score 59 points, obviously, lovelin big games. - All three big games. - Bird in huge game. - Yes. - Adoons a big game. - We'll get to them in the duds. Tucker Crafts deal, I mean, we all know he looks the part. They're locking him up while they can on a cheaper deal. And then Michael Mayer, they're not letting him go. He's like-- - This is, I mean, he's a comp-- And these teams-- - This is the other tight ends, yeah. - It has nothing to do with Bowers. Bowers doesn't play the tight end role that Michael Mayer plays. Brock Bowers is a slot player. - They didn't have an injury to Michael Mayer and then in one day go-- - Yeah. - Let's get a contract. This was already in the works. - We did not get the best news on our high ankle sprain patients here. AJ Brown expected to miss six weeks. - Gross. - I believe they are a week 11 by six more weeks. Is that, I mean, statistically, you have a three-week reduction of production. That doesn't say-- - I gotta find a new way to say that. - No, that was a three. - A reduction of production. - So you got six weeks you're out, a three-week reduction, a buy-week mix to him. - And then fantasy playoff glory. - I mean, maybe, but you gotta get there, that sucks. - Yeah, that stinks. - My guy, one of them injured here, Dejan Stribling. He's gonna miss at least a month. If you look into this injury, it's a deltoid ligament sprain of the ankle. You don't hear that very often. This is, he couldn't put weight on it. He was carted off the field. This is an injury that often leads to surgery, or you need surgery right away. But essentially, they're in a position where they can see if rehabbing gets him back before that decision is made. Because if you make it in four or five weeks, and it sees an ending versus now season ending, you can give him a chance to get back. - Yeah, it'll be interesting to see if they throw him on IR. AJ Brown was placed on IR. - Sure. - I would imagine they will, but TBD. - Also, I mean, can we talk to big anatomy here? - Oh, big anatomy. - Okay. - Let's be careful with that, but go on. - Yeah. - Your muscles, your deltoids. - Yeah. - Where are those? - Let's send the lower meat. - No, no, no, no, you're actual deltoid muscles. They are in the upper body. Why is there a deltoid ligament in your ankle? - They had bones connected to the, I believe. - Just say it like, that's really strange. Kyla Murray left almost instantaneously. First, he made a fade away, terrible interception throw. - Yeah, which, the worst part about that by far was that immediately what you do in that moment is you go and you make fun of it, right? - Yeah. - Which we wanted to be able to do. - Two seconds later, it's like, oh, very severe injury. - Very severe injury. Looked awful. - He was talking to Carson Wentz and Smileylin and laughing in the locker room after the game. - Yes, which is great. Didn't have to go to the hospital. And also Carson Wentz came in and looked awesome and Justin Jefferson got rescued. - I know for a fact that, I know for a fact that this guy over here, there's Al Borland character, while we're wearing the gear we're wearing, I noticed a stark lack of gold and green. - That's primarily diet related. - Oh, okay. - I've outgrown a lot of that. That was a rough game. - He's emotionally just to be clear. We didn't even make that joke. He's just like volunteering you out, grew his back roots gear. - You could have just said like, yeah, we lost, and I'm upset about it. - Yeah, that's also true. - How upset were you? - To be clear, I know for a fact over the last couple months, you've lost weight. So are these jerseys too big? - Yeah, I mean, we're talking, my jerseys are Eddie Lacey, Jordyn Nelson. - Oh, so they were a long time ago. - Lacey would have worked. It wasn't Eddie Lacey's jersey. - Oh, okay, okay, it wasn't Game Warren. - But loved at a brutal game for the pack. - In the morning with. - Why are the Vikings favorite in this game? - Yeah. - He did start the day with like. - 'Cause we're a really good team, man. - I know for a fact, he stands by that. I know for a fact. - The Chargers get a lot of crap for being the Chargers, but I feel like the Packers are doing this thing now. Where they are giving away games that they possible. - You know, that's the first time in history, a team was up by 12 points with 20 minutes left and lost by 17? - I did not. - I mean, that's their specific. - After something like, well, it was just the dynamic, like it was 22-17 with what seemed like four minutes left in the game and then all of a sudden you blink and it's 39-22. - That's what I'm saying. I saw a tweet talking about, you know how there's always the win probabilities and you're at 96% win probability with this much time left. In the last like two years, there's been like four or five games where the Packers are basically above 95%. The game is over and then they lose and lose. Not just like, they just collapse. - I mean, shout out to that team rallying around a backup quarterback. Brian Flores defense, turning on the- - The Vikings are. - On the juice, man. - Legit. - They just need a quarterback. - And shout out to the reps, according to Al. - Yeah. - The reps were not good in that game, but the point differential at the end was- - Not due to the reps. - New significant. Chargers wide receiver, Lad McConkey left with the chest injury. He got blowed up in a bad way. I mean, I was kind of making, you know, I was like, man, it looks like he got his organs scrambled. And then after the game they're like, they're actually worried about organ damage. - He got your hands really hard. - So no update on that. Although I did see Jason shared with me, one fantasy medical expert, if you can find his, so we can shout him out real quick. But he broke down the fact that majority of the time if it's a rib injury, they can play through it with a flat jacket. Like that's the majority outcome, which- - I don't remember where I sent him to you. - Yeah, so I'll see if I can find that. But the hope is that Lad will be able to, you know, be back out there soon. - There might be a scarier injury. And we'll have to wait and see practice reports, but Zay flowers re-aggravated the hamstring that he was already dealing with on Instagram, sorry. - Yeah, there was, Zay flowers was dealing with, you know, his little hamstring injury re-aggravated it. Despite the fact that you just look at the game and you go, oh my gosh, Zay flowers dominated that game, which he was 150 and one in the first half of football. - I think he only ran like 19 rounds. - 11 rounds. It's the most fantasy point scored on 11 rounds in history. - That's, so the yards per route run numbers. You know, it's like, if you're up at like four, that's amazing. He was at 13.6 yards per route. - You just don't want to keep re-aggravating this thing. And this is at least a second aggravation. There are some comments that maybe it was precautionary. - Yeah, the latest from Rappaport was Zay flowers. It is not considered serious. He'll have an MRI, but if it was a playoff game, he likely would have returned. So day to day right now. - The problem is they ain't no playoff games for a while. So that means next week, do they give him a week off? We'll see. I mean, Jacobi Lane, but one week-- - Also hurt. - One week versus a dude going on IR 'cause his hamstring is for sure in two. - They will certainly MRI it and see what's going on. Jacobi Lane, who had a touchdown called back, got a lot of snaps left early with a wrist injury. It ended up being a fractured wrist. This is their rookie, their promising looking rookie from camp who's gotten a lot of buzz. It was great to see him on the field, used around the red zone. Everything was like, okay, this one worked. The touchdown was called back. It didn't work, and then he broke his wrist, so. - He don't. - Stribbling and Lane were like my favorite two, rookie white outs from camp, and they're both hurt. - Yeah. - So Rashad, Bateman. - Yeah, well, the waiver showed him hard. - He's so weird, 'cause I don't think he had a catch. - It's funny. - And he had him by far the most routes on that team. That's the scribes him. Yes it is. Running game is going to help win it and take pressure off of Stroud. I just talked to him at the pressure rate was lowest in the league. So you can say what you want about the offensive line or the bill's defense. But something worked because they scored three, he scored three touchdowns. But did you see the snaps? Yeah. I mean, like it was almost 50/50 with what he marks. I believe what he marks had more snaps to David Montgomery, which you wouldn't know because all the work went to Montgomery, which is all that matters. I mean, it basically was saying when Monty was in the game, you know, they were using them. They were putting the ball in his hands in both the passing and the rushing game. It was, it was gorgeous to see. Genty looked great. 23 for 102. Now the Dolphins defense, again, you know, it's probably not going to be this good every week for the Raiders, but you love to see it. And by the way, Jamire Kibs, 29 carries. You're going to kill this man. No, no, you can't, you can't, you can't, you can't, you can do it. No, you can do it one year. Dan Campbell said he's going to give one glorious year, 34 touches. Not enough. Oh man, I don't know that you know what you're asking for. I know you've got Gibbs, but you know, we'll see. I'm not, I'm not a man like you that would be willing to guarantee that a player becomes healthy the entire year, but you want to, but he's been a healthy player. So we'll see. B. John got it done despite. I think Cooper Rush might have looked worse than everybody this entire week. Yeah, I was like, it was like if you took a game manager and cut that in half. But it's like Kenny gain well was in for 46% of the snaps work on the ground was very close eight to five. It just the targets happen to go to Bucky and it's like with the snaps being almost shared. Those targets almost certainly could have gone to gain well as well when he was on the field. So that's why I'm just a hold. The number one fantasy score at the wide receiver position in week one was Jalen cocker at 29.8 basic points. Listen, it's like the Cardinals. You don't know how long you got him also good. It felt like it all came in the first half. It really did like that's how Minnesota won. They're like, hey, we should just take Christian Watson out of the game. Uh, Christian Watson was awesome and a look Matthew Golden. I think that's all that even though Watson crushed for fantasy for a week one, I think it was good. I think it's going to be Watson is like, we're looking good Matthew Golden led the team in routes and target share. 31% I mean, that is the consolidation. Really, it looks like it should work from Matthew Golden from what I'm seeing. I believe he, he was like 41% in the slot last year and his opportunities and it was 5% in this game. So that the change of role in the dedicated targets. Uh, Zay flowers. I'm on Ross St Brown, Justin Jefferson, the other top three Justin Jefferson. We are so back if Carson wins, but it would probably Kyler. It probably will be Kyler, but like maybe not next week. I doubt next week. But then what if what if Carson goes out? They do have more snaps than most. I mean, it was a combination of also playing against Detroit, having an overtime yada yada. But the reason we wanted this offense was just because of pace of play and they you get more snaps, more opportunities for fancy points. Uh, what are their big names? They were talking DJ more five for 100, Nico, seven for 75, had a couple other chances of score. Parker Washington, all in the first half, five for 83 in the touchdown, and man, was it an impressive touchdown? Yeah. I think that's pretty good. They're in the lab. Maconkey still finished with the solid stat line, despite the chest injury. Top five tight ends on the week. Man, I, he was, he was such a finalist for my guy, and I, and through one week, I regret I'm not choosing him over one of my injured dudes. Uh, I say likely 23.8 fancy points. Dallas Goddard, start of the week, 21.7 fantasy points, Tramie bride, sticky, gassicky game. Out of times, dude, in that, now Jamar chase last year, had like no points in week one. Yeah. This year, no points in week one. It's a thing. It's a thing for the this offense to get going. But man, every time I looked up burrow, I was throwing to a tight end. He was. He was really anti-higgins. It was better than Jamar chase, but it still wasn't a fantastic game. They, they were really, I don't know, they were clamping down on the wide receiver. It's just maybe fully selling out. I mean, worked out for the bangles in the long run. Don Concade, I think is one of the. Yes. Most interesting storylines. He scored 15.5, and he did not score a touchdown. Yeah, exactly. This is a player who has been great on a per route, per touch, per pass basis. Like he's been really, really good. Last year, with his knee injury, he played 38% of the snaps. That is obviously in a relevant player. You can't throw out there. And we were just saying all off season. Yeah, you could have taken shots on him last year. Yeah, I mean, he had plenty of good games, despite 38% of snaps. We were just saying if he's actually healthy and he ends up being a 70 plus percent snap player, then he could be a top five tight end. He played 72% of the snaps and was was very, very, very good. Through one week, the muth got loose. Five targets, five for 46. He was fun. He was like the deep sleeper of the off season that I brought up one time and then got embarrassed about. It was, uh, let down in this match. I was at home. It's kind of what they do. Week one is bad. But I will say they normally lose them. The, yeah, they do normally lose them because they usually have a terrible defense. Our defense looked good cause a lot of turnovers. And, um, you know, both the Cowboys and the bangles last years, great offenses with terrible defenses. They both invested heavily in the defense. Cowboys look like they failed. Bangles look like they might have succeeded a little early to tell, but, uh, worth watching Baker. Stafford down games. And then this one I do want to talk about. I, I thought it looked horrible. I thought the Dallas offense looked bad. Um, 175 and two for DAC through a pick. And if George Pickens just didn't drop three passes, would we feel like it was bad? Cause they were all three like bombs. No, it DACA to see one of those two receivers not have like a drop day. He DAC had the most passes over 20 yards and none of them were completions. But when you have, when you have a bad quarterback in your offensive line is not elite, you just, it doesn't really matter how good you are. Here is one player that I have some, some real thoughts on Martian Lloyd against Minnesota. I know how good Minnesota's defensive front is. They played a big part in this. However, Chris Brooks and Martian Lloyd through one week as the lead backs of the Packers left so much to be desired in my opinion. Yeah. There were two thoughts. I had one. We may see some Caleb Johnson soon and two. Jacob's will be everything. Oh, we did have a Jacob maybe even more when he comes back. We have at least one Jacob's update that it is. He pled no contests to I did mention on the show. Yeah. Last Friday, we had all that covered the only thing we didn't talk about was the fact that they had actually sealed the record in court, which sometimes means that the NFL can't get as much access to the case information. And that can cause the suspension to be, they may factor in. In fact, there's a lot of precedent for them factoring in games, missed on commissioners list. But we don't have the league is trying to get the video. Yeah. But we don't have a decision yet from the league. But I, I was not impressed with Lloyd or Brooks. And I know that there were a handful of okay runs with 13 for 37 for Lloyd. I thought he was really, really hesitant from the handoff. Like he'd get the ball and he'd make a move that wasn't a response to the defense coming at him, but was just a little bit of a, let's juke for juke sake. I didn't like that. I think it's fair criticism. But we'll say to me, it was like, okay, nothing I saw means Jacob's will have a reduced workload. We'll see what happens. And the Vikings are a good defense. I just thought we were on the way to basically the packers establishing a great passing game. And then that being the precedent for like loves going to be the leader of the offense and won't be the running game. Like we'll start to transition into a heavier. I'm just kind of disappointed the way it went. Yeah. And honestly, Martian Lloyd got enough work to show something to have one good explosive play. And he looked bad every single time he touched the ball again against a good defense. They both had a good amount of targets, six targets to Jalen Warren, five targets to Rico Doudel. Rico turned it into six yards. Rico was terrible. However, when you look at the splits, you know, you go, okay, so obviously Warren was the one Rico was relevant. The actual snaps, 39 snaps went to Rico, only 25 went to Jalen Warren, passing snaps, 29 to Rico, only 13 to Warren. Warren was way better, and so maybe they flip that, but the player on the field that they were trying to get going who couldn't do anything was Rico. So stay tuned. Three big names that were disappointing, not quite duds in week one. James Cook against Houston, not worried in this life. No, say one against Washington. Not really worried there. A little more worried there. Are you just of he wasn't fantastic last year, I mean, 15 for 83, and he had to do a lot of blocking. And then Devon H and 11 for 36 on the ground. One is four for 33 the air. I believe H and played the most snaps percentage wise of any running back in week one. So he wasn't sharing any time, but there wasn't much time on offense for this team. Every time I looked up, it was a dink and dunk drive for Kirk cousins, and then a three and out or a short drive for the dolphins. And so through one week, you know, when you get all of a bad thing, it's bad. Yeah. Yeah, he ended up, it was funny because I traded H and I traded four H and traded Hampton away in a bigger trade. And they were 9.5 and 9.7 fantasy points in week one, both disappointed. I think it's going to take the dolphins if they get it going, it will take them some time to figure it out. I agree. When you have two rookie White receivers, when you have a new offensive coordinator, head coach and quarterback. I mean, how good can it get is the problem. And so they're upcoming schedule Mike brought it up earlier. It's terrible San Francisco Kansas City, Minnesota. White receiver disappointments. You're on chase and an off day two for 12. To be expected sadly. Off day for George Pickens, three for 28 and some drops keys. Yeah. Drake London, two for 29. Not his fault, but terrible. Devante Smith, three for 53. This was part of what looked weird in this offense. I mean, Wicks had a 75 yard catch and a touchdown. You wanted more than that. I did. Yeah. I wanted more than that. He was a start of the week. I didn't think that the commanders off a defense was really good enough to stop and slow down the the Eagles. They seemed like they were. Thankfully, the next two weeks, Tennessee and Chicago. Maybe the Eagles can get it going a little bit more, but I was super disappointed in Devante Smith. Roman Dunes a Luther burden. This for 52, five for 63, neither scored. This is worth a discussion because there's been. I mean, there's been so much off season talk about the three receivers, including Loveland in here. And all three were disappointing in a game where the bear scored 59 points. It's crazy. Roman Dunes, I kind of throw. I throw it out. He didn't play as many snaps, but he was coming back from. He was a part time player. So that's that's less concerning. Luther burden to me is actually more concerned. Five for 63 is not the end of the world for Luther burden. I mean, when you have a fumble, it really, yeah, I'm not concerned. This is my way of saying that. Now, you might get two in a row. They go to Minnesota or they play Minnesota next week. You may have two down weeks in a row. I don't know. I wasn't concerned. But I also, I mean, I feel like by being concerned about burden, are we in on cleave Raymond? I mean, I'm not. No, I'm not. No, I don't think so. I think I'm guessing the cleave Raymond, uh, Jedi Walker. Maybe they got some more run because Roman Dunes, I wasn't on the field as much room played. I think like 48% snap share of passing snaps. Luther burden was at 73. Luther didn't play as much as you would have. He didn't play as much as I would have wanted in two wide receiver sets. That was the thing that was a little bit concerning. He was more slot, which, you know, Ben Johnson coming over. We want slot. We wanted that Oman Raul role. So, you know, something to pay attention to. But I was a little disappointed with the utilization of burden. Cardinals won, but they didn't use Marvin Harrison. One for 33 on three targets. It was, he had a drop on his first target. It was, it was gross. And, uh, it might just, I mean, they just paid Michael Wilson. Tremick bride is, Tremick bride and Michael Wilson are dogs. Um, so that's a little scary. We'll see. It's just one week. But will they make, be more intentional getting in the ball at home next week? We'll find out. Terry McClaurin was awful. I mean, two for 14 invisible. And the other part of that is, I thought Antonio Williams looked amazing. I mean, sure. He was four for 64 and a touchdown. But I go watch the touchdown. Go watch the route. I mean, he looked good. I thought he, yours for a route run. We're outstanding. Stefan digs nine targets. There are two rookie wider receivers. I'm pretty interested in like in the waiver wire. Antonio Williams was drafted nowhere, but then Ted Hurst. I mean, I Chris God, Chris Godwin was not good. Four for 40, four targets. And when I saw him at the ball, I mean, it was pure. Yeah. He's going to find a way to get open. But I mean, Ken and Alan played this week, right? And he had a bunch of targets. And it was worth nothing. And I'm a little worried that Godwin will be like Kenan, four for 40 for Godwin, but a book is five for 63. Yeah, like that weird. Alan feels three turnovers by Baker. Yeah, two, he had two fumbles. And then Bucky had a fumble. And then was there was there another pick by Baker? He had two picks. Yeah. Um, carnell, eight six targets, four for 38. Wondale, six targets, five for 38. Oh, Baker and no picks. Okay. So it was just the fumbles. Yeah, just, he had fumbles. No picks. Yeah, I'm just, I'm seeing no picks and three fumbles. Oh, three fumbles. Okay. Yeah, yeah, three turnovers, all fumbles. I got you. Uh, tight ends. Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, this line feels bad. Well, why don't you talk about it? Colson leveling two targets and making matters worse, which is always the case when something goes like this, when another tight end has a big touchdown or a big catch, like Colcomat did. I mean, he ran the second most routes of any tight end and ended up goosey. Colston, Loveland. Yeah. Dog one of them should have been a touchdown. Um, you know, that all I could take is that the bears were, the bears offense was amazing. They're going to score a bunch of points. He ran the second most routes of any tight end in week one. It will have happened. But the fact that we have a zero as our floor, that felt impossible. Yeah. This is the behind the scenes here, behind the scenes metrics of the offense is great. And he's running the most routes says you can trade for him. You could be confident that good games are coming. But I will say that the one fear that I had coming in for the bears was, what's Khalif or Raymond? No, was that if the bears were really good and Colson, Loveland's good and Roma doons as good and, and, and Luther Burton is good, that it will be their taking turns and you won't necessarily have everybody dominating or anyone being super consistent. That would be my fear going forward. It's just like, we're going to have great Loveland games. You're just going to have some some bad ones. We're going to have great burden games. You're just going to have some bad ones along the way. And it's a scary proposition from a consistency standpoint, which is the biggest challenge with tight ends because here's another guy, Kyle Pitz, Cooper Rush. Yeah, you got to just throw it out until you've got the starting quarterback. I feel okay with pits with pinnocks, but I, I mean, not as good as I did with two, uh, I, I, how many backspasms are we going to get there, by the way? I think it'll be one week. Second Tages. I would be surprised if Rush plays this next week. George Kettle, five tires, two for 12 coming back from injury, Harold Fanon. This one sucked. Harold Fanon. The second should doers made the starter. I would make him a trade for target. Yes, but not before he should or will start. So if you mean if you want to might go through four starters this year. Yeah, but I think Andy's point is if should doers will start until week five. Yeah. I don't think you want to trade for Fanon right now and have a month of of Watson version of Fanon. Well, it was when we had looked at the so they start with two road games. So Jacksonville and then Tampa Bay. And when I when I was looking at it after the announcement of oh Watson's going to be the starter. It's like, hmm. I don't know. Two road games. Just let Watson go out there and fall in his face. And Watson and either like either you're like, whoa, we're surprised. Did Sean Watson remembered how to play quarterback, which he hasn't done well for, I don't know, four years or something, or we go on the road, we take those losses and then we get back home and then should I don't think financially the game can we do it though as like, like if you take him out after two weeks, that'd be the best thing for the team. For sure. Well, that's what I was saying of week three when they come home. If the Sean Watson is terrible in week two, when, when, wait, okay, this is when I this is all just optics and in theater and everything. But to go to your home opener after Watson destroyed your team for two weeks, get him booed. Yeah. Oh, he will. The booze will be so loud because you either switch him out after the first quarter of that game or you do it beforehand. As it turns out, Watson, uh, the fans not liking you is also performance based. It's personal, but it is also your performance. It's everything. It is personal and performance. Yes. Yes. It is. And, um, yeah, that's a, I, there are some teams this week that, uh, they had some rough weeks and I would would not feel like, uh. Uh, I was happy if I was their fans waiver show tomorrow.
