crashing the beyond the box for party I guess welcome to the Monday edition the week one recap of beyond the box for here and the fantasy football today feed out of A's or Dan Schneider and Jacob Gibbs and congratulations to Dan and Jacob for growing beyond the box score that the separate YouTube channel and podcast so much you guys are killing it and I'm excited to do this with you here in 2026 Jacob what's going on you started to be on the box for party man you ain't crashing exactly is that true I guess you can't crash a party that you started more than where are you where are you you didn't hear about yeah I got I got issues I got issues going on my life moving and I'm not even anywhere close to setting up moving during the first week of the NFL season was a lot of fun not and when the reality is I'm not set up yet so I just was happy to get enough done from an internet standpoint and have a anything here so the background is going to be bad for a minimum a week I won't be touching this until at least the weekend well Dan said that a not joke well that that's such a bad not joke was fat pH 80 let's let's what's important is the audio sounds good that's what sounds great sounds great yeah all right anyway today on the show Colson Loveland's dud jalen coakers big day players that were worried about players that were not worried about how do we feel about Jamar Chase and Baker Mayfield and many many more start out though with the giants of the Cowboys 28 20 giants they had the ball for 36 minutes and 40 seconds they had the ball for 21 minutes and 33 seconds in the second half yeah insane also credit the giants all you want can't I can't help a bring up they fumbled four times and only lost one of them Ziga that's how the ball bounces some way got some breaks got pretty lucky only one explosive play in the entire game that's a play of one of your yards it was you remember what it was it was a 17-yarder to mooney that wasn't it I think there was a 19-yarder to neighbors that wasn't it it likely touchdown was only 16 there were a lot of like 16 17s what was the 20 plus uh wow I know darn darn darn darn oh it was the dart run I was gonna get there the 22 yard I was gonna get there the same time as you've left slightly before you oh yeah love it all right let's start with a giant stand I'm sure you've broken down tape six times today what what are you seeing against the team that was one of the worst about the worst defense in football last year but they made some improvements and it didn't matter they got sliced up by this giants juggernaut well listen they were supposed to be one of the most improved events in the NFL the Cowboys we'll find out throughout the rest of the season what's actually true and what's not true here are the Cowboys still just one of the worst defense in the NFL or the Giants going to be a much better offense than people think and the reason I asked that question is this the Giants came into this game with a lot of skepticism surrounding the Matt Nege error of Giants football and I got to say this for watching the tape and this was true of both the tape in the broadcast angle Matt Nege cooked he really really cooked last night I'm not just talking about the red zone TD that looks so awesome and so chiefs S with Travis Kelsey I'm talking about pre snap second and long he comes out in 22 personnel with a full back or running back two tight ends in one receiver in the bunch form in a in a tight formation making it look like an obvious run the red zone boom shifts to shotgun gets an easy in break or one-on-one for neighbors to set up the third touchdown all throughout the night he was countering everything that Dallas was doing when Dallas overplayed Mike neighbors toward the end of the game and start to shade coverage and double team neighbors in the second half He took the free access plays on the checkstown to Devon Singletary and he had designs for Jackson Dart every single step The way that kept him in full command of the offense and throwing the ball on time and accurately He used multiple personnel groupings He found matchups that win and that was just a phenomenal performance from Matt Nege and the entire Giants offense Jackson Dart was number one in EPA per dropback among all quarterbacks by far in week one They barely had a single play that didn't work Dart missed one throw all game toward the end of the game neighbors on the out and then immediately made up for it with a pass on 39 twice a likely it was phenomenal stuff all around I don't know how I could not how anyone could not be excited about Matt Nege after that and this Greg Roman run scheme that was creating tons of room in space upfront Giants average over five yards per carry and Design quarterback runs in there as well were uber efficient in the red zone. They basically played a perfect game on offense Honestly, it's hard to it's harder to dispute that Jacob except for the three fumbles or was it four fumbles that they had but I say yeah size that yeah four fumbles lost one of them And I don't think Tyrone Tracy. I don't know if you saw the field after his fumble was lost Jay did not he did not play another snap. Yeah, but Jacob it was great and the cowboys But they still I don't think they have a pass rush their defense is only gonna get worse Malik hookers gonna miss a lot of time over shown left in the fourth quarter within an injury But what do you think of the Giants are you buying it? And we've got the Rams next with the no miles Garrett so another opportunity I think to see them potentially play well. We'll see I thought but the defense was really bad from Dallas But definitely a lot of this credit as belong to New York. I'm really curious how this will work going forward as teams Get more and more film on them because it was kind of a it was a weird offense Dan Would you like say like it was it was not a traditional office It was like a mix of it reminded me of the Greg Roman offense a lot And we've seen at times teams kind of like get Figured out Some of the stuff that just like worked so well where they're overloading and like like the dart run where they fake that motion in the right and Got all the defense like over on that side. I don't know if they're gonna be able to keep getting away with that But as far as the drop-back game. I was encouraged. That's the I mean the the run game was obvious Really really successful run game for the Giants both teams ran the ball well actually But the drop-back game was what encouraged me is the dart was patient. I thought and read things out well Made the right reads pretty much throughout the whole game Which we've seen glimpses of but I think people really have Criticized art a lot as a passer and a lot of people just don't believe in dart In his ability to operate an actual drop-back game and Dan and I have like continued to pound the table like I think there's at You're at least there's at least a chance you should leave it open that he could Progress in this way and as far as you're one of your two leaps as like a pure quarterback I thought that was really really encouraging stuff for him. So I want to see more of that Yeah, and let's take a look at this Twitter poll that I did last night in the heat of the moment see how people felt Who would you rather have rest of season in P.T.R. Colston, Loveland With his zero fantasy points or Isaiah likely with what did he have like 27 or something? And if 55% 56% said lovelin 44% said Isaiah likely who had eight catches 78 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets Is this a tough one for you guys Colston Lovelin versus Isaiah likely rest of season? I mean, I think we're both really in on likely to like one of my bold takes week one was a likely It was gonna have 30 points. So I think I just feel close. I think I just feel good about it and Lovelin Yeah, we're not worried about love and we'll talk about him. I was still take lovelin. They're gonna be games where It doesn't flow as easily as it did for the Giants in this game Jacob brought up a good point. What about when teams adjust to what they're doing a little bit I'll say this though likely really impressed me. I was aware Based on his Ravens tape of his ability creates separation as a mismatch And then what he could do post-catch and addition to kind of like some high points of the football But that second that first touchdown he had was a crazy body control catch where he flipped his hips completely turned his body around high point The football and then toe-tap both feet in and then he had a few other catches including the final one on third and three down the stretch We really plucked the football reached fully extended and made a really difficult catch through the catch point almost through the ground Twice he did that in the second half his hands looked so much better than I was aware of He's really a really good player. Yeah, I said it's for the season We're like he's in the Matt he's in the Matt and Edgar is she rice roll and I'm like, yeah, that's awesome Like a better version for us. She writes gets to run this play this role. Right. We got to laugh about it But it's like he's actually really good like I don't think he's quite as good after the catches rise But as a receiver, he's one of the best receiving tight ends you're going to find in the league right now I'm kind of surprised. He only ran. Yeah, I speed it up He only ran two-thirds of the routes which is low no top eight tight end on a per game basis last year Ran that in a few the lowest for any type top eight tight end in terms of route participation rate when they were playing not full season Was Harrell fan in juniors 71.3% that included the game where he left in the first quarter I believe and it was much much and he was tied at eight per game So if you look at top seven tight ends per game None of them were below 75.2% and that was Tucker Kraft and he left the game injured So I you know, he's I say I likely had a 34% target per out run rate We'll see how things unfold, but there's another guy him. He indulged in concade. They ran two-thirds of the routes That was really good for concade not as not what I expected from likely They probably need to run more of that to be impactful week after week Giants will have a much stiffer test with the Rams next week even though Miles Garrett is not playing I assume Aaron Donald will play on the Cowboys side of the ball I can't think of a better by low team. I think I mean Yeah, you can't really say it about Javante I suppose and Lamb had to touch down, but he only had 44 yards But I mean they're obviously I don't see any reason why they wouldn't get things figured out as It's the same coaching staff, it's the same players, they didn't really not figure anything out. They were, that was fourth and E.P.A. per dropback. They just got a ton of penalty yards and didn't get dutch the ball. Like they had no possessions. They had two possessions the whole second half. How insane is that? And Pickens had two drops and also they, they, they got a bunch of, they got at least two pass interference calls that, you know, Pickens had like 40 yard play, potentially that was ended up being a D.I. Two, right? Like eight of those. They had like eight of those. Whatever it was. It's so, I don't know, I mean, I don't want to, I don't want to just like skip over the cowboys, but can we agree better times or ahead? They should be fine. Yeah. If someone's willing to, if you, you can trade for them, go get them. Yeah, I think my only issue would be they have a, they have a fairly tough early season schedule, Washington in week two, Washington was really good up front rushing the passer, but still that should be fine. Baltimore, maybe they were good, they played well yesterday, Houston, Tampa Bay, At Green Bay at Philadelphia. There's some tough matchups there, but the cowboys or the cowboys, it's almost feel like the fact that their defense looks so bad in week one is a good sign to look like more of last year's game scripts 100% and they got two major injuries, one major, one major injury. Two injuries to major players, one of them, a major injury. All right. Uh, scatiboo, scatiboo, by, by cell hold, scatiboo, did not have a catch was not their third down back score to touchdown, good game. It curious where you're at with this one, Jacob first. Oh, I wanted to leave it to you, just knowing the Giants more intimately. I felt like a lot of those Devon Singletary looks could have been him and could be him in the future. I thought overall it was really encouraging they were able to run the ball so well, we know he has a receiving skill set, so it wouldn't be surprised to see that built out in time. But I definitely want to hear your opinion on it. So I'll start by just saying this, it's great to see, you know, he was back for the start of training camp, got the first rep, whatever. But no one knew if he'd still have that lateral agility and burst that made him special as a year one back and at Arizona State, when he forced 100 plus mistakels in a season. It was back. It was there, the vision, the pacing behind the liner scrimmage. As a runner, he looked just the same as last year, so that to me was encouraging. And he's still their red zone hammer. I would like to see his past game rule expanded. This was a little disappointing to be honest. Not just the role, just the fact that like every third down was Singletary, it felt like in last year, there was a concerted effort to get him the football as a receiver because he's a good route runner as a receiver. So I am a tiny bit concerned by that, but I don't think it ultimately will matter because this is a dude who, if healthy, is one of the closer locks we have in the NFL, the 10 plus touchdowns. Yeah. All right. I think he might struggle in week two, but we'll see at the Rams. If the Giants get into a bad game script, we'll see what that means for Scataboo. That was the most electric ad break I've ever seen. I'm the biggest winner here because I got to sit and watch that while I relax and took a frickin' drink of water. Bucky Irving. Yeah, 62% snap rate. When this guy has given him a 60% snap rate or higher, he's average 17 fantasy points per game. He got eight of 13 running back rushes. He got two touches inside the 10 yard line, finishes with 20 PPR points, led the team with seven catches on seven targets. And most encouragingly, he looked freaking awesome out there. He averaged almost four yards after contact per rush, yet five missed tackles forced. That's what he did. His rookie season. When he was going crazy in fantasy, everybody remembers that's exactly who he was. We did not see that last year, whether that was his health, offensive line, whatever was going on there. He didn't look like the same player. And I was born out in the statistics, but all of that bounce back to year one, and I feel really, really good about Bucky going forward. And it's Dalton Kincaid, or is it Caleb Williams who you going with, Dan? Well, go with Dalton Kincaid for this one. All right. Yeah, he was somebody that moved up my draft board at the very end, was not high enough. I think he finished as like tight end 10 or 11 for me. Phil good about him going into the year because he was finally healthy, and what happens in his first healthy game in a long time, he kind of pays off what he was supposed to be, a first round drafted capital guy, who's an absolute mismatch. A firm rewatching his snaps and his big catches, five for one 30. He was pretty much an unstoppable force up the seam in the intermediate areas of field as well. High-pointed to make a really incredible catch at one point, 130 receiving yards, 98 air yards, and 38 of those yards after the catch, 38 to one 30. More importantly than anything else, a 77% snap rate, which they massive sign given in the past. He's kind of played a much lesser role in this bill's offense. I think they realize at this point, he's their clear cut second best option in the passing game, and he has to be on the field for at least, let's say 77% of the snaps moving forward. That's a really good sign with Josh Allen as his quarterback and a run scheme that's going to create a lot of one-on-one looks for Concade. Mm-hmm. Pretty good stuff for Dalton Kincaid, and the fact that it happened against the Houston Texans is really impressive. They get the Detroit Lions. I think it's the Thursday game, the Detroit and Buffalo should be a fun one to start off week two. Sanders and Dishon were 37th and 38th in EPA over the last two years, dead last and second the last. Sanders at least takes some shots, and no, he doesn't barely. It takes one or two a game, and everything else he sits on. That's true. He's 38th and 37th in EPA. I know why. I know why. Give him a little way. He was a rookie, you know. Oh, yeah. He's better than Dishon Watson. I guess. I don't think he's better than Dishon, personally. No. Well, I don't know if Todd Monkin might agree with you. Tyler Murray has a concussion. Carson Wentz, 1% rostered. Big game yesterday. Running back news, Dylan Samson. Dylan Samson left in the first quarter. They still didn't use Quinch on Juddkins as the third down back. I think a little bit on third down, but they used for him, Sanders there. Much Cory Croskey merit fumbled, and did not get back in after that. That was late in the game. We'll see if there are any ramifications there at Dallas next week. And Travion Henderson is going to practice today on Monday. So that's really good news. They have Pittsburgh this week. Wide receiver news. You know what? I'm just going to give like the big headlines here to say flowers hamstring injury. but not a serious one. That is awesome. Look, maybe the Colter are really a great matchup, but maybe if you drafted any of those top three Ravens, you're just going to be in a great position to crush your league. And Lad McConkey left with you. Are you feeling a little nervous about your safe flowers bat? A little. Does that brought up on the show earlier? I missed it. Yeah, yeah, it was brought up. Oh, yeah. That's in every week here. I think we should change. What do you have? Who's your guy? Devante Smith. Oh, God, the most overrated player in all the preseason by analysts. I'm just joking. That's an overreaction week one though. I was about seven spots lower on him and feel gross about him. And I can't wait to hear what Jacob says. Regardless, you are in a lot of trouble there. With that, you were relying on the Eagles passing game to get you back. Oh, yeah, I mean, okay, forgive it. Lad McConkey, I'm not even sure what it is at this point. Hip chest, he got hit on the hip and they called it a chest injury. I haven't seen any updates on McConkey were waiting on that one. And defensively Cowboys got beat up the Texans lost two linebackers, one on inside linebacker, one on outside linebacker. That's and those are multi-week absences, I believe, for Henry Toe Toe and Jake Hummel. So that's not a that's not a small deal. They get the bangles this week. And, yeah, that's I mean, there's some other stuff, but you don't care about that. What you care about are the snap counts and whatever else Jacob and Dan have up their sleeves. I don't even know what it's going to be. So I'm going to turn it over to the step. He's the stat man. Yeah, he's the stat man. Oh, I thought you're going to different route tax man. That one. He's the stat man. I got you both. This is good stuff. Okay, so yeah, the first thing I want to point out is this from Ryan Pagnetti. We got way more under center usage in week one. And that was something that a lot of these coaches told us they were going to do. But it was a really significant change. 66% of the time teams were under center on like normal first and 10 type situations. That rate was 46% last year. So that's a massive, massive jump. For Ryan, that's the highest rate since 2012. So, you know, Dan, I'll let you talk about real quick, like anything you think that that impacts, like obviously under center is generally going to be bigger personnel packages with, you know, maybe fewer receivers on the field. And so it's a little bit more concentrated. Is this something on those receivers in terms of like Nico Collins, Jackson Smith and Jake, but last year, those type of players can get really big target totals, safe hours. We talked about it a lot during the off season. And it seems like we're actually getting it. I was really curious how much of a change it would be. We saw these tight ends drafted really early and everything. And we got a significant change. So I'm going to throw up on the screen for the YouTube viewers, the teams that I noticed that made a big change in week one. And if you have anything you want to add to this discussion, go for it. Okay, go ahead and read it out loud. Or I can if you want. Yeah, go for it. All right. So Jacob's posting here, offenses that used way less shotgun in week one. So more under center, the commanders, the Eagles, the giants, these are teams that were more under center. So three NFC East teams, not the Cowboys, the Raiders, the Ravens, the Bengals, Falcons and Jets. I think that stands out to me as we got some very mixed results here. Well, I think that that may be true for those teams, but I, according to more data from Sean side, who's a really good fall on Twitter for some for the summer sports. Not only was the highest usage of under center since, you know, forever at this point, 700 six plays, the next closest was back in 2022, 626. This is from week one data 42% the highest before this was 30%. We're talking about a massive jump. Every single metric from an efficiency standpoint, went out as well. So percentage of dropbacks under center percentage of EPA per play under center was higher this season than in any of the last four seasons when the dropback percentage was, you know, topped out at 30%. This was 42% and the EPA per dropback and the EPA per rush all were season week one highs over the last five years with this massive jump in the under center percentage. And the teams, according to Sean side, at least from summer sports that were 10% change from 2025 to 2026 under center were the Raiders. Some of the ones we see here, the Raiders, the Jets, Ravens, Jaguars, Falcons, Arizona, Detroit, Washington, San Francisco and Cincinnati. I guess the Giants didn't make this cut probably pretty close. But the teams that were pulled all together, that stat that I talked about with EPA per play under center, EPA per dropback and EPA per rush all being week one highs, that's for just all teams in week one. So clearly it's something that teams are doing more often right now and it's something that they're finding more success with on both a per dropback and a per rush standpoint. The Ravens are the most exciting to me. There were a lot of quarterbacks we were told are going to do this this year, but we had never really seen them do it. Like Jayden Daniels, for example, Lamar, we had seen do this some and it really, really worked well. The cold Stevens might be a problem all year. That might be an easy one to attack. But definitely week one, this worked really, really well for Declan Doyle. Their new offensive coordinator in Baltimore. I loved what Lamar Jackson said after, you know what? Instead of paraphrasing it, I'm just going to get the quote if you want to keep talking. Yeah, there were a few other teams that really stood out. I mean, the Giants are certainly one and then we talked a lot about them. But what that led to was a really concentrated passing game with likely and with neighbors. And that could be what we see moving forward. It really helps define things for the quarterback and it helps them kind of lock into the one player like neighbors who in his first game back had a really good volume. And I think we'll see what these teams we mentioned throughout. The ones Jacob brought up and the ones I brought up, that we're going to see a lot of these concentrated passing games, which is really what we want for Fantasy Football. Yeah, the Jaguars did a lot too. You brought the Lions as well. It's hard to say for sure with those teams because of like the fact they're playing with a big lead. But even early in the game, the Jaguars and Lions were both doing it a lot. I think Parker Washington really benefits from all this. He was the receiver who stayed on the field when they went to one receiver sets, which I think would probably shock a lot of people because he's been a slot player mostly. Sure. If you remember the beginning of the year last year, they had him as like a backup perimeter receiver. That's how he's being used before the Travis Hunter injury. Now it looks like he might be like in the slot for three receiver sets where he dominates and then on the field in almost all situations. When Trevor Lawrence was on the field before it turned into a complete blowout game script, he had a 29 percent target share and 46 percent of the area yards. I don't want to say he's this year's Jackson Smith and Jibba because I don't think he's as good as JSN. But this is where we saw JSN able to push his target share from a normal Y2C1 to just by far the highest in the league is so many of these plays where he's basically the clear primary read in the in the drop-back game. I think one one thing that jumped out to me. I'm sure you guys noticed it as well on Thursday. And I mentioned it on the Friday morning show is that in the 13 personnel in the goal of the go situations for the Rams, Puccana Cua was on the field. And I think they have three of those plays. And last year Devante Adams ran almost all of those routes. And he scored five or six touchdowns on those routes. So I'm very heavily invested in Devante Adams and that was a very concerning sign. Pucca had played a lot in 13 personnel last year too. But when they got near the goal line, that was Adams almost every single time from weeks one through 14 before his injury. And a week one it was Puccana Cua every single time. So that was a change. Yeah, for sure. Lamar Jackson, by the way, they come out. They score 41 points and I feel like they kind of took their foot off the gas in this game too. He said, quote, we were all on point from the play calling to the execution. I've been dialed in since OTA. We all have stayed locked in like this. I've got a ton of confidence in these guys that they can do that. And I just think with the Ravens, you know, you heard all off season long, they're just heaping praise on Declan Doyle. And they come out and they look amazing. So it's just one week. But yeah, that's those those three players could have huge seasons, Jackson Henry Flowers. All right, anything else? Keep going fellas. Let's talk about Jalen Coker. Holy crap. The dude is so good. He's so good. He looks so good out there. Yeah, I just that's like, I sent out this tweet a while back. I said this in the FFT news that I was like, let's get a few things straight about Jalen Coker because like, even my brother, who's a total sicko, I asked him, I was like, how big do you think it is, dude? And he's like, six foot, like one 90, one 95. And like, he's like six foot three, 213 pounds. People think he's a little slot guy, but it's like, he had a 43 inch vertical and almost an 11 foot broad jump. And he was wildly productive in college. He just happened to be a UDFA because sometimes we get these things wrong. And he ran a 457. I don't know. Right. But like, all the guys done is produce. And he got paid this off season. His last two games, he has 272 yards of three touchdowns with a 30 percent target share. I don't think he's like taking over Ted or Macmillan or anything like that. I think Ted or Macmillan's going to clearly be the top guy. But these two are both really, really good. Matt Harman, when he did his reception perception charting on Coker, effusive with praise to the point of comparing these two to Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. And saying, he really thinks that Jalen Coker can unlock things for Ted or Macmillan in the same way that God would did for Evans where he don't have to always have him tied to the perimeter. They're interchangeable. Coker can win on the outside. And that's what it looked like in week one is that Coker just winning down the silent. Obviously, all this needs to be taken with the great assault because that barrier secondary is bad. It shouldn't be, though. I mean, the cornerback is a tough position. But you line up, Jalen Johnson and Tyriek Stevenson. You should be decent. Now, obviously, they're missing starting safety, a big for Asian acquisition, they don't have much of a pass rush, I guess. On he had a 26 yard catch, Jalen Coker, where he actually stumbled and I really, I think it threw off Jalen Johnson. Jalen Johnson kind of like attacked him as he stumbled and then he got back up. I don't think he expected Coker to regain his balance. And then he had a 26 yard catch, nearly a touchdown. But on the long touchdown, he just cooked Tyree Stevenson. It's funny. I guess I never really thought he was what you guys see, but I'm probably wrong here. I don't see like some some freak. He's big. I get that, but he's not fast, but I think he looks pretty fast out there and I don't want to see that. I don't think so. I mean, it's not traditional speed. It's like Anquan Bolden level speed, which is game speed. You don't need to be right. You can still be productive that way. Last seven games for him in Tenerola, McMillan. They have almost the same amount of targets, 45 for Coker, 46 for McMillan and McMillan has been so much more productive on pace for 1,253 yards and 15 touchdowns. McMillan on pace for 940 yards, so about 300 fewer yards and five touchdowns on pace for 10 fewer touchdowns. And not only that, Coker in those seven games, he has five red zone, four green zone, four end zone targets. McMillan has two red zone, zero green zone, two end zone targets. I still like McMillan better, but I think what I would say is like this offense last year, they threw for 3,300 yards, they like Bryce Young might actually be good. He played so well yesterday and maybe it was just a great matchup, but he played so well. He played great with his legs, he extended plays. He was accurate. He played it. They could easily take a, they could throw for 4,000 yards, wouldn't be a shock, 3,800 yards. I mean, they could take a 500 plus yard jump in passing yards and both these guys could really benefit from it because they're the only ones who are going to get targeted heavily. I will say the Bryce has had a few of these games and then he's kind of gotten back to doing his thing. So I don't want to react too strongly to it, but I do just want to keep letting people know that Jay and Coker is really, really, really good. This isn't some random thing. Yeah, he's 70% rostered, 13% started at Atlanta next week. I'd like to also give a little bit of credit to Bryce Young. I know it wasn't a complete game. There were some moments in the second half that led to them maybe not pulling off a winner at comeback, but some of those throws were absolute dimes in this game. Yep. Yeah, they really were. All right. We got to, we had a question about Coker and Chuba Hubbard later. We'll talk about that a little bit later. That's one of our big topics. I'll throw some stuff out and then you guys can hop back in. Romo Dune's only played 48% of the snaps, most likely because of the injury. Khalif Raymond. I think we got, well, when we talk about love them, we'll talk about Khalif Raymond. But he was very, very involved. He played 60% of the snaps, both Raymond and Odunze ran 58% of the routes. Jalen Neul only played 30% of the snaps. That was disappointing. One of the biggest disappointments for me was Josh Downes. He ran 94% of the routes and only had a 12.5% target per route run rate. And then stupid Keenan Allen had a 23% target per route run rate. Stupid Keenan Allen. That's not very nice. Great debut for Antonio Williams for Washington. And he only played 37% of the routes. So we're going to hurt you. I make Lauren. Yeah. You know, it wasn't a shock to me. It wasn't a shock like against the Eagles. It wasn't a shock. Oh, man. All off season this OCO. We're going to move him around. He's going to be the focal point of the offense didn't seem like it in week one. That didn't feel like a focal point game plan or anywhere close. Yeah. Well, you know, they play next week. Who's that? Dallas. That's good. Okay. Maybe a bounce back spot. Yeah. He needs to. He needs the bounce back. Yeah. 39% slot rate for Terry McClure. And I feel like that's probably on the high side for him. His career high in a season is 24% last year. It was 13%. Yeah. Okay. So they did move him around. Didn't put him in motion at all. Let's see. Anything else? Caleb Douglas. Caleb Douglas played 91% of the snaps. Chris Bell played 52% for the dolphins. Caleb Douglas had a really good game. Big Washington played 98% of the snaps, but he's probably not going to matter. Most third down routes among running backs. McCaffrey, Ramondre Stevenson, Chuba Hubbard, right up there at the top. Rashad White, Bijan Robinson, Tijay Spears, Devon H&N, Cione Vocky for the Lions, Bucky Irving, ran six third down routes, Kenneth Gamewell ran two third down routes. So those are your top nine and third down routes for running backs. McCaffrey, Ramondre, Chuba, Rashad White, Bijan, Tijay Spears, H&N. Vocky, and Bucky Irving, and the packers, if anything's going to derail their offense, it could be their line. They were missing starting guard, Aaron Banks yesterday, and according to ESPN, the Minnesota Vikings had a pass rush win rate of 90.6% the highest by any team in a game since 2022. Wow. And they still pass the ball decently. I mean, love still score like 23 points. And that's all that. Packers. It was a mess. That's all I've got for my advance. Let me throw this up on the screen real quick on Terry McLean. I've got his alignment data. You can see you're on the screen if you're watching on YouTube. The last couple of years it's been this by far the highest in the league, 72, 74% of the reps all on the outside left receiver. You see here, it's like much, much more balanced left in the slot and on the outside on the right. So hopefully it will get a little bit better. I need to dig into it before I say for sure that this means that it was better in terms of how he was actually used on his routes, what his route tree looked like. I don't know. I'm just nervous as hell about Washington, but maybe that was just an Eagles thing in week one. I think they're lying though, it's just potentially disqualifying, we bad. It's definitely going to be a struggle. Definitely. And I think Diggs is a problem too. Diggs had nine targets and a terrible penalty and a touchdown. I wanted to hear, I don't know if we have time for it, but I wanted to hear your thoughts Jacob on the Eagles offense line and a good chance to watch that all 22 and I saw your stat where Barkley had, I think, all but what was it? What was the yards for contacts that we had 83 yards rushing and 82 of them came after contact. Wow. That's bad news. That's oldie. That's, that's like, that's nearing on borderline, genty 2025 status. Now the commanders to give them credit, they put a lot of resources into their defensive line this off season. I don't know if it was anything like game changing, whatever, but they wanted to be I think bigger up front, better up front. But yeah, I had that game on one of my laptops and I noticed it a lot. It was kind of a disjointed performance. The Eagles had a decent performance offensively, but it just, it wasn't easy. It wasn't easy. It was, the pressure was, was pretty consistent. I don't, I didn't look at the pressure rate, but I'll look at it now. Um, see where I wanted to watch that game on all 22. Yeah. See where Washington, they were only 15th in pressure rate, but to me it felt, uh, it felt pretty significant. Um, okay. I watched Chris Godwin tape and, uh, better than last year, but this was one of the biggest duds for me this week. I told a lot of people to start Chris Godwin. He had four targets. He had three area arts. Oh, um, but I don't know how that's possible because he got like, it must have been a couple screens, but he had a very low a dot, um, Jamar chase. Yeah, I, I watched Jamar chase and compared him to his game tape from the last game of last season, or maybe the second to last game of last season. And I would just say like, I'm not, I'm not 100% convinced he's not playing through something here because he was on, you know, he, he missed time in camp with a knee injury. He had, he practiced in full Wednesday and Thursday and then Chase did not practice on Friday. Hmm. They downplayed it. I'm not saying he looked bad out there. We have that one screenshot. Check this out. He's at the bottom of the screen. The hell, look at that release. He's wide open. That was like instantly ball was where the burrow go with the ball left side. I don't remember. I can probably zoom in and find out who he threw it to, but he threw it in crazy. You have chase one on one without safety help. And that's not where you look. He's what he's wide open, but even if he catches a two yard touchdown there, whenever it's still a bad game for him, um, but yeah, I don't know. I feel like it wasn't quite. I feel like it. I feel like he wasn't quite himself to be 100% honest. So I, I think it's probably nothing, but just because he had the knee issue, he might want to just say he's not like the, the super mega high-end Bilo candidate that he, he may be other. If he, by the way, Jamar Chase, like never does well on week one. But this was, this was a little bit worse. Okay. Anything else, guys, or should we get to the big topics? Jamar Gibbs had more first downs than any player in any game last year, any non-cordabac yet 34 touches, 100, 80, 60 screaming yards, eight of the Lions, 14 red zone touches, and like in total, not just the backfield. This was the stone worst outcome probably for the Lions from a scoring standpoint. We'll see almost all year, like maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt they have too many games, 24 are under and regular in regular time. And he still went off Jamar Gibbs. This is, look, this, this is, I mean, we all kind of set it. Think of you were the most ahead of it with the $70 win on the auction bid we had in our joint team. Forgive, just blew out the load on a, on a super flex budget. But you said it, and we both kind of felt that he was so far ahead of any player, B-John included in this year's class. And if he stays healthy, I don't see why he, he's probably, he's going to outpace what McCaffrey did last year for sure. And it's probably going to look a lot like Prime, Andy Reed, Chiefs Jamar Charles types fantasy seasons. Remember those back in the day, they just single handedly won you leagues. Yes, that was my bold prediction that he would have the second boy like that. have the second best running back season. Well, he'd have a better running back season in the last 10 years than anyone other than Christian McCaffrey. When McCaffrey had a couple of years, we averaged 28, 29 points per game. But I will say I don't like that he had 29 carries. I yeah, that's weird. It's too much. It is a lot, man. It's great for a guy like him too. What is he 200? Like he's not a big dude. Yeah. I don't love it. Okay. All right. We can take a break. We got our four big topics. I know you want to hear what we think about Colson Love when that's coming up after this. I think it's time to break out the whole the worryometer. Oh, yeah. I think the worryometer needs a theme song. It does. It's on you, though. You're the guy who does that type of stuff. And then you're the guy who will butcher it. So yours wasn't much better. I think we have proof of that. That's insane. That is both were bad. Mine was like a one. Mine was a 0.7 out of 10 years was at 1.4. I think I really don't just double double as good as mine, but just really bad. I think mine was at least a 7.4. You think you were 7.4 out of 10 on that. Our first big topic is from Ruben's right. Oh no. That's our second one. Our first big topic is from Sean. It starts and ends with Colston. Lovelins goose egg, despite the bear scoring 59 points. And I'd have to agree. No catches on two targets. And what's our worryometer level? Jacob on Colston. Lovelin. Not worried. Zero percent. Wow. Zero. Wow. Dan. Let's see. I'll go 8% just 8% 8% I'd be more worried if he did this and the bears didn't score a lot of points and look unbelievable on offense. Then I'd be like, okay, crap. Not only is he can he not be a part of a game plan that much, but they're also not really moving the ball. The opposite happened. They put up 59 points and looked like what Ben Johnson said might be a proclamation of what's to come. We may score the most points in the NFL history this year. I doubt they'll play the Panthers even better. The Panthers even send the year pretty good though last year. He looks phenomenal. The bear is on offense. It's unstoppable. And there's nothing I wrote about this in yesterday's article from CBS Sports. There's nothing really to make me feel indication wise that this will slow down. They have a top three four or four offensive line. I think Caleb Williams is taking the step forward. They have a top one or two ground game. They ran for 291 yards rushing combined. It was that's insane. And they have weapons in the passing game. There's what will slow this offense down at this point and the best play Schema in the NFL in Ben Johnson. So what is keeping on Lovelin here though, just to focus it right. My point is as this offense continues to dominate, there'll be some weeks for him. It's probably not going to be a situation like we talked about earlier with those teams who are going under center and really, you know, narrowing the offense to certain two targets. I don't think it'll be that, but I think they'll have some big weeks. I'm going to go 15% on Lovelin. Okay. You know, I think they're not very worried either. No, I'm not. I think he's a great by-law, phenomenal by-law. They are going to score a ton of points. I think the worst case scenario for Colson Lovelin would be like a good Sam Laporta season, where there's some bad weeks in there, whatever, but he's still going to score a lot of touchdowns. And I think he's a more talented player than Sam Laporta is a more talented player than most tight ends. And yeah, he's going to be on arguably the best offense in the NFL. The cleaframen thing is interesting. I want to know what you guys think about that with with cleaframen getting nine targets in this game. And by the way, like they scored 59 points, but there are still a very run. This is why I'm a little concerned. There's still a very run heavy team. They only through 29 passes in this game. And he still, Colson Lovelin, now in his career, still does not have a catch on a screen pass. He had the second highest average route depth of any tight end, any fantasy relevant tight end. The only one that was higher that I'm considering is Terrence Ferguson. And I would say that he's probably not even fantasy relevant at this point. So this is what this is what concern me. I've seen this version with Kyle pits, super high A dots, no easy, very few easy throws, very few layups. That's not the best way to be a sustainably successful tight end. Now you want to trust like Caleb Williams and Colson Lovelin more than Marcus Marriota, right? And whoever else is playing quarterback for those Falcons teams, a dragon Kyle pits down. But I'd like to see more easy catches. They don't exist for Colson Lovelin. So those were like some of my concerns going into the year. That being said, I pretty much cast all those concerns aside and fully bought into Colson Lovelin. I didn't like them in the third round. I love them in the fourth round. But I'll go 15% just because of that profile and this Khalif Raymond stuff. And by the way, Ramon Dunesay wasn't even fully healthy in this game. And so that's a factor too. Jacob, what do you make of the Khalif Raymond role? Calvin was out there and was open a lot. There were a lot of plays where the defense was gravitating towards the Lovelin. The defense was gravitating towards the Dunesay. To your point, Lovelin was used down the field a lot and was drawing a lot of safety help. And that was opening things up over the middle of the field and that ended up being Raymond a lot. Maybe defense says we'll watch this film and say, yeah, that's fine. It's fine that they put up 59 points and Caleb Williams was able to, Caleb Williams got anything he wanted and the run game got anything it wanted. We just have to make sure Lovelin doesn't beat us. And that will continue to happen. But I also think it's possible that David's will adjust after seeing 59 points in that game and that you'll start to see Lovelin getting some more one-on-one looks. And I think he wins those pretty regularly. I think the key difference between him and somebody like Kyle Pitts who you compared him to is obviously like you said, the offense is much better and then also he's much better. He's a really, really, really good red zone target. And so he might not get a lot of easy catches, but I do think he has more built-in touchdown equity in terms of being able to project it than any tie-in in the whole league. Yeah, he also was open for a touchdown at least once in this game and just didn't get targeted. He was wide open over the middle on two throws that easily could have been 50 yards between the two of them. One of them was just a miss by Caleb. The other one, he took the check down a common on guy instead. I just think things could go a lot differently and will go a lot differently. And yeah, it's clearly a by-law. I don't know exactly how it will play out. There might be games like this where Devons is our hyper fixated on stopping him and then ends up being everybody else because what Ben Johnson has told us all off season played out in week one, which is that Caleb is a lot more comfortable in the offense going through his reads and just taking what's there. And so if that's the case, then that does hurt Lovelin and that's fair. But again, it's tied in, right? It's pretty well, it's stock to get zero and everyone's really frustrated with it because they drafted Lovelin around through around four or whatever. But like a bunch of tight ends, you've got zero or basically zero this week. You know, like it's just kind of how it is as much as that is frustrating to hear. Yeah, the empower's got zero too. Right. It's true. Okay. Rubens Wright has our second big topic today. Which studs are worth buying low immediately and which does are a sign of things to come. I think he means like which does are worth. But well, okay. What's real and what's not from the bad performances of week one blip versus trend is his short way of saying it. And Jacob, you came up with a nice convenient little list here of players you're worried about. Players are not worried about and who do you want to focus on here? Oh, look, oh, look at this. There's a lot of guys. Go ahead, run us through it. Who are you not worried about? Produces are killing it today. Yeah. So I'm worried about Devonta Adams. You brought up those reasons already. So we'll just wait and see what happens with that. But if he doesn't get that red zone role, then that is a little bit concerning. I am a little bit worried about Terry McLaren. Well, I want to dig into that more, but I'm just worried about the offenses a whole and especially if Antonio Williams is as good as he looked. Right. That's now two targets you have to compete with, you know, and both of them being kind of short area targets, which I think we might see have to be the point of emphasis at the line struggles. And then I'm definitely worried about Quinch on Juggins. He was somebody that was worried about coming into the year, split backfield on a terrible offense. It was exactly what we saw last year. I think it might get better a little bit better in terms of like creating yards before contact. You might have better rest efficiency than this. They might be able to sustain first downs, a given 15 or 18 carries instead of 12. That's what we saw last year. It was the average 19 rushes per game when he was healthy. So like, I don't want to totally overreact to the bad game from Juggins, but also it's like this is exactly what we were scared of. Yeah. I'm sorry. I just want to add the Jaguars happen to have a terrific run defense, but I'm completely with you on being worried about Juggins. But this was kind of a worst case scenario. It seemed with a great run defense and a great offense just running away from from Cleveland, the worst possible gameship. So I think he's going to be a guy who's a little schedule dependent. And let's get the schedule out for Juggins here. I'm sorry. So it's at Tampa Bay, Carolina, Pittsburgh, we're just just looking at that. Feels like all those games are better for him than Jacksonville. I guess. But at the same time, I'm totally a failure. So this was a clear, avoid preseason for me. No, no shares of him just seemed like an obvious dropback. I mean, there'll be some good game. So that's the thing. Just like last year, it never looked good on paper. I don't think to start Juggins any week. And then he just had a lot of good weeks because he's a talented player. Definitely more of a bestball feel for me, rest of you. I mean, you can just put him in a flex and pray. And it's going to work out sometimes because again, he's going to get random touchdowns. But there's just doesn't seem to be a single game script I'm looking forward to. I get it some are gonna be better than Jaguars, but not really, like, this offense looks unbelievably bad. - Okay, let's go to the a little worried category for each other. - And their defense sucks this year. - Yeah, do we have the Travis HN thoughts here? - Oh, yeah. - I got a little bit better in the second half, but in the first half, I was like, what the heck is going on right now? This, like the whole reason you draft this guys, 'cause you think he's like a locked in bell cow, and then you're just being the backfield, even though they've had, like, every single writing back too, they've tried, get hurt over the past month, and they've landed on Kittre Miller, and he gets the red zone touchdown, and just like, what is that stating? - So, like, yeah, if you drafted him as the bell cow, that was a really, really concerning start. To a lesser extent, the same thing kind of happened to Jalen Warren. In fact, he almost kind of looked like he was losing out on the backfield, and that was happening before the fumble. He ended up having more carries, the Rico Dotto played more. I don't really know what to make of that backfield either, and he was another guy who people were drafting, thinking that he kind of had a near locked-in role on, like, passing down at least, but it was kind of a kind of weird mix there in thoughts on those two. - Yeah, I have a lot of thoughts. My first thought is that Warren and Dotto, I think, I think I'm sorry to say, I think it has to, I think it's okay sometimes to say, I don't know, and I don't know. I want to continue to see how this plays out. My whole thing with Warren and Dotto was like, I just feel like Dotto is not that good at the end of the day, and Jalen Warren is going to prove to be the better Russia over the course of time, but I also thought Warren was gonna be the third downback, and that was not the case. Dotto was more of the third downback in this game. However, they both got enough targets because that's what Rogers does. So, they're flexes. This week they're placed in the face in the Patriots. I'm not interested. With the Travis H. Han thing, I'm pissed. I think the show last night, Dave thought, Dave maybe said that he thought H. Han like came out with like a little, I'm a little dinged up kind of situation, and then Miller had some carries there. They did run a play from the one yard line or the two yard line and Travis H. Han was in. I think it's insane, and I think it's also concerning that Kamaritan play in this game. So you look at like the seven catches that he had, well they threw 56 times, and Kamaritan play. So I'm very nervous about a guy that I drafted a lot of, was I thought he was, you know, I thought he was like a guy that's gonna be, oh, he should have been a second, maybe a second round pick, right? But I'm really worried about H. Han. Uh, no, I would say I'm a little worried about H. Han. Over time, if they don't, if they gave him that contract and don't use him more, then screw them. They're stupid. But yeah, I'm concerned, it's on my radar, Jacob for sure. - I'd say this about the suit, there's a situation. Go back and watch the tape. Before tomorrow's episode, Jacob, once I get through all the giant stuff, I need to see what happened there, 'cause I was wildly disappointed with the Steelers offense as a whole, in that matchup with the game script they got, and how many times Atlanta turned the ball back over to them over and over again with Cooper Rush, basically unplayable player. I'm really just disgusted and surprised with Atlanta not playing Jack Strand over him, at least tried to move the football, but the guy we know who can't in Cooper Rush. But the offense didn't move the ball, and this Steelers offense alarm was really valuable. They added a lot of first round talent. They were supposedly having a great camp, the offensive line, and they weren't moving bodies at all in that game, from what I've seen on the broadcast, like Warren Dowdell, they didn't really have much many places to go, and Aaron Rodgers wasn't doing much either. I was just kind of shocked at how bad they were on offense in what should be one of their best matchups of the year. - They went super drop-back heavy too, in a game they were leading the whole time, which I think maybe signals that they didn't feel a lot of confidence in the right game, it was weird. - Other players are a little worried about a pair of eagles on here. - Well, actually, before we get to that, I don't really care about what happened with Drake London and Kyle Pitts. I'm not going to start them as long as Cooper Rush is playing quarterback, and it's just not going to happen. Maybe I'll take another shot on Drake London, if I have to, but I'm guessing you saw something else, because I think you could easily explain their struggles by just saying the quarterback. - I just think that Zach Robinson, we're going to talk about him a little bit at some point. We'll definitely talk about him on the box score, on our YouTube channel with like a Mecca Buka and everything, like the usage was really, really good, like all the motion at the snap of the football creative stuff that we saw last year at Lanta, transferred over immediately with the box, and at Lanta, it didn't really feel that way. London was used in motion a little bit before the snap, never at the snap of the football, and Pitts, it was just like very little intent or design or creativity to get him the ball. It felt like the offense was just get beach on the ball and fair enough, but like, I don't know, I'm nervous about those two right now. - Yeah. - Why Barclay and Devanti Smith? - The Eagles were dead last and passed success rate, and they weren't much better on the ground, as I alluded to with the yards before contact earlier. I needed to dig into the film to really give you my full thoughts on it, but yeah, I didn't get hardly any play action in this game. I wonder if maybe they're not very comfortable with the install of what they've been trying to do this off season, and this should have been a soft match up. So I was hoping to see some semblance of like a particularly explosive offense and everything. We got a few big plays, but it was just kind of, I don't know, it just looked like pretty much like last year, but we'll see, I need to dig into it more. - Okay, and then for the players that Jacob's not worried about, basically the Bengals, the chargers, we have a question separately about the chargers. Colson Lovelin, Luther Burton, Christian McCaffrey, I mean, I am a little worried about Christian McCaffrey. Not that he's gonna be bad or anything, but way too much K-Lon Black, way too much. And, you know, H&U have on there, George Pickens, totally agree, Baker Mayfield and Ameca Buka, you are not worried about, you know, Mayfield, one thing I didn't like about him going into last year was that in 2024, his great year, he led the NFL in fumbles, and he only lost two of them, and he's just a big fumble. So, it's caught up to him a little bit, and he's got to stop doing that garbage, but they could definitely put up some points. But let's talk about McCaffrey and H&U, you're not worried about them, and I am a little worried about them. - Yeah, obviously we don't know what's going to happen with the backfield in San Francisco, and if K-Lon Black, I especially if he takes like, goal line touches, if he like plays well enough that Shanna just kind of keeps him in there, that would be really annoying. And I think that's possible. I think K-Lon Black is really good. But mostly these are low value touches, and so CMC is still I think way to get a lot of high value touches, and just overall to me, it felt good that the offense looked good. - Yeah. - I thought that Brock Pertie, I mean, we've seen a lot, we saw a lot of quarterbacks this week, struggle against all this deep zone cover six stuff, just like kind of bain them into these bad throws down the field and they were taking it. And Brock Pertie was the opposite. He was methodical, he just like dropped back, and took what was there over and over and over and over. Mike Evans looked like frickin' John Jennings or something. - Yeah. - That was not the role I was expecting, but like that's what he was doing. And it's like, I think we're going to see, I think Evans will offer them some field stretching at some point. I thought he did a good job at that last year. I know a lot of people might think he's toast, but I think he's still got it. And I think that offers a different element to this offense that we've seen. And then if we also have the consistency, the chain moving and everything there, it's just such a good machine man for fantasy point producing, just like bet on that. And so to me, I thought CMC looked good. There's been kind of concerns with like the soreness or whatever, but I thought he actually looked like he had some juice and I think it might be a good thing to get him where he's not taking a beating. And so there's a little more like selectivity with when he gets the ball. - Yeah, I felt that I feel that too. H&N, I mean, I felt like this was a game where they might be able to run the ball a little bit. And he had 11 carries. Now they're at San Francisco, Kansas City, at Minnesota, Cincinnati, you know, we know how great Devon H&N is, but all the things if you were worried about Devon H&N, they all kind of came to fruition yesterday. - Yeah, right. Yeah, I know, that's what I wanted to put him on here. And again, I could be wrong. It could be a problematic thing all year long, but I thought that they did a pretty good job of trying to get him out into space, trying to design receiving touches to him. My guess is that we'll see, that it was a pretty bad day for Miami's offense. And maybe it could be like that all year. It could be like that. Maybe Mlequilis is not who I think he is, but they're good flashes with Willis. I'm nervous about this one a little, maybe I should put him a little worried, 'cause I'm personally worried that I'm too invested in wanting Mlequilis to succeed. And so I gravitate towards the flashes and ignore the fact that it was pretty inconsistent and bumpy. If you look at time to throw on place that were in the pocket, not outside of the pocket, you had by far the highest time to throw up any quarterback in Week 1. And that's kind of what we've seen from Mlequilis. But when it was like designed in on time and everything, I thought it functioned well. And we just need HN to give us one of these plays where he creates something in space. We just didn't give very much in Week 1. I think that's kind of random. - Would you guys rather have Deandre Swift or Devon HN rest of season HN? - It's a great question. I was so low on HN preseason, didn't draft him in a single of my 26 leagues, but that's because he was priced differently than Swift. If I was on the board, I would have taken HN. Thinking about this rest of season, going with Swift, I'm already there. Okay, and I'm going with Javante over him. I'm just, I'm much more scared of this HN situation, I guess, than Jacob is, which is fair. 'Cause he watched the tape and I haven't watched it yet. I want to see it if they are. And they did look like in the joint practice against the Giants that I saw down in Miami, like he was getting targets. He was involved. But this run scheme didn't look as good to me the broadcast and I watched a lot of that Raiders game was in the 4 o'clock window. That's no McDaniel. And generally speaking, I didn't think their offense looked very good either overall. So it's kind of similar to like a Echan situation in New Orleans, but just a better talent and getting all the red zone work. Well, yeah, I don't know. It just seems like all these team, all these bad offenses I have trouble buying into the running backs. I was just laughing at the name thing. Yeah, me too. You could compare an Echan to Echan for the first time, I think we've never done that. True. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry to two more questions here. We'll wrap it up from Ghost Carrigan. Is it possible the Chargers offense just isn't good? They scored 14 points, but Jacob, you just basically said you're not worried about them. I would say I am worried if La Mcconkey misses time. I don't know how you feel. Yeah. No, that's fair. La Mcconkey produced five of their eight receiving first downs. The only other player to produce a receiving first down was David and Joku, he produced three. One of them was a play where it bounced off of the lineman's helmet. Yeah. It went to in Joku and he got like 15 yards. Yeah, it was pretty bad. Mcconkey was the only one getting open. QJ got open on a couple of plays and Herbert missed them. My thought is like, it could be bad all year if you think Herbert's bad. If you think Herbert's just not a good quarterback, which some people legitimately do. If you think that this is a fraud alert and Herbert is just going to be a fraud all year, then sell these guys. Sure. You said he looked bad, right? I saw on Twitter. You tweeted that he just had a bad game. Yep. I think it was one of the worst games ever. Well, he was not seeing the field well or the didn't seem like he was seeing the field well. He was getting the ball out quick a lot of times and kind of missing things and he just felt kind of uncomfortable. He made a couple of nice throws. He made a lot of weird throws in terms of accuracy, putting it behind people. Part of that though too is like, I don't know exactly what the design was. It was possible that Trey Harris wasn't going where he thought he was going to go for example, but there were definitely some throws that were just off for sure and some decisions that were just bad. And was the O line a problem because I think that's probably the guards are terrible. The guards are terrible. Terrible. I believe we might have another year or this. He had an 11, Justin Herbert had an 11.1% off target rate, which is high. But he had games like that last year, 14.9%, 10.9%, 12%, 23% as wild. But he struggled yesterday, not great. Look, it's not like you get a new offensive coordinator and you snap your fingers and a week one, it's always great. Obviously, it took the bears a little while to find their footing last year. So hopefully things will just get better for them. McConkey was terrific and Justin Herbert averaged. Let me see if I have this 10.3 yards per attempt with McConkey and 5.4 yards per attempt without McConkey on the field last yesterday. And another thing I'd say is they had a very impressive touchdown drive in the first half. They got the ball again. They're driving down the field and Omar and Hampton fumbled. And that was a big turning point in the game. And on the next possession, they got inside the five yard line and they went for it on fourth down. Just take the freaking points. It was fourth and three. They got sacked. So those were two drives that probably would have ended in some points and they turned the ball over once with a fumble, once on downs. And then in the fourth quarter without McConkey, they were really stuck in the mud and they were trailing and just throwing and throwing. But yeah, that was pretty bad. And I also thought the fact that they couldn't run on Arizona as a little concerning. But Chuba Hubbard was good yesterday and that's our last question is from Scott. He wants to know about Chuba and Coker. We talked about Coker. We're buying in here. Chuba Hubbard, a terrific game. Ten carries, 49 yards and a touchdown. Three catches, 38 yards and a wide open touchdown. And he pretty much dominated snaps here. Do you guys think this is Dana sign up things to come in the car in the Panthers backfield or will it become more of an even split going forward? It's a great question. I know in the past, we saw just recently as like a week or two ago, John, their head coach basically say in the past, we've used the workhorse and it's worked out well. When we have the high hand, we want to ride it. We saw a slasher with Rico Doudal previously with Hubbard. So it may just be a situation where right now, they're riding the hot hand with Hubbard, especially given the fact that Brooks may not be fully healthy. He's playing, but maybe he's not fully healthy. And Brooks may have those plays like he had down the right side on the big passing play, get some work. But I think for now, we got to consider this Chuba Hubbard's backfield. Yep. That's exactly why I feel everything we've heard from the coaches is that like they're going to have one guy who's the lead back and like gets a feel for how the line is doing against the defense and then the other guy's like a change of pace back. I thought it might be Brooks coming into the year because Hubbard had been banged up and then we had the weird injury stuff before the season and then we get to be one and it's like all Hubbard. So I think that's just where we're at. Like Brooks wasn't really even mixing it. Like the second half, he didn't get on the field until like the third drive. And it's just like, I think that's just he's just there to change it up right now. So unless there's an injury or something or Hubbard like has a bunch of bubbles or something, it's probably just his backfield. Okay. I think I'm a little more open-minded to the fact that this could be kind of fluid throughout the year because I'm not the biggest Chuba Hubbard guy. His longest run last season was 12 yards and he did not eclipse that. Oh, no, sorry. He had one run longer than 12 yards last year. He had an 11 yard run yesterday. But he did fine. I mean, that was fine. I just, I guess we don't really know if Jonathan Brooks is any good, right? We've never really seen it. But I'm not convinced that Chuba Hubbard is so much better than him. Right now it is his role, it's his job, but you know, it was his role to start last year. And then he got hurt. Rico Dowdell was awesome against some easy matchups and they kind of split. But I think it could be a little more fluid. However, I do think that you should, you should approach as if it's Chuba Hubbard's backfield. I'd be hesitant to be looking at Chuba Hubbard in my lineup and say, okay, I've got an RB-2 for the rest of the season. I'd be a little hesitant there. But I think I'm starting to feel this Panthers offense a little bit more because Bryce Sean looks so good yesterday. We'll see if he can do it again. I forget. Who the hell will they play next week? Hubbard was running back for an expected fancy once this week, running back for an XFB. Like his. It's crazy. His role was great. I think you do have a running back to that. You never know what is going to happen rest of season. But like, until he gets hurt, until the wheels fall off, I think you got an RB-2 to your writing. Yeah. I mean, he could be the top 12 guy next week. You know, I'd start him over, Cam Scataboo at the Rams, I'd start him over, Quinch on Judkins. I'd probably start him over, who the Saints playing. I'd probably start him over Travis H-Anne. Yeah, it's interesting. There's really no reason not to. I'd be really surprised if he got rugpulled. I think it would probably have to be an injury or having a bunch of fumbles. Yeah. He's a gradual, you know, but. Yeah. Right. Next week, Travis H-Anne had Baltimore versus the Falcons for Chuba Hubbard. He's certainly going to feel more comfortable with Auburn in your lineup. Yeah. Right now, he's an RB-2 for sure. Okay.
