So yesterday we talked about the Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan. That she even sided with us against the state of Colorado. And so called gay conversion therapy. That isn't really a thing, right? There's no pill we give you. There's no hyperbaric chamber. We place you in, right? There's no sweat lodge in which you are in sconce. All right. Gay conversion gay conversion therapy is my kid is exhibiting same sex desires. I know that's ungodly and against the way he was created. Just like any other, my kid is exhibiting desires to be a kleptomaniac. My kid's exhibiting sociopathic desires. My kid's beating on his younger brother or sister. Any other thing that you would recognize as outside of the nature that God intends for your child, right? So you take him to pastoral counseling and hope that the enlightening of the word of God can open the eyes of my heart, Lord, right? So that you're living differently. That's that is so called gay conversion therapy and the Supreme Court ruled yesterday eight to one with even Elena Kagan's vote that you can't do that against the First Amendment of the Constitution, right? We talked about that. Right. And I believe I referred to Elena Kagan yesterday as the lesbian Supreme Court justice. That's where we were. Okay. All right. So our great friend, Desian Memes for pumpkin spiced queens, checked with Grock, Elon Musk's AI, to see if indeed I am correct. Now, now I'm going to read you this full correction because this thing, she's a bute Clark, all right? No, Elena Kagan is not a lesbian. She's never publicly identified as such. And there is no credible evidence or confirmation of any same sex relationships. All right. Did you read the next paragraph? During her 2010 Supreme Court nomination, rumours circulated often sparked by her never having been married, having no children, a short haircut. That that that she was a lesbian. These were widely discussed in media from outlets across the spectrum, including political, political ABC news, mother Jones. Notice these are all on the left. The guardian and Wikipedia summaries of the episode. Close friends and associates directly addressed and denied speculation at that. So in other words, even though she exhibited all of the hallmarks of what would make someone a lesbian, she is not one. So essentially Elena Kagan is the Lindsey Graham of the US Supreme Court. Mysteriously single, just like Lindsey's mysteriously single, Lispy Affeminate. Not dating, not any rumors of any dating. And couldn't find just somehow one southern bell worthy of being Mrs. Graham in the entire Palmetto state. That's essentially the Elena Kagan bio, all right? Despite all the hallmarks of being a lesbian and being discussed as such by virtually every major left-wing news outlet, there's no evidence that she is. First, there's also really no evidence when you read the Grock thing that she's not. Nevertheless, I should issue a correction here. So from this time forward, I will not refer to Elena Kagan as the lone lesbian on the US Supreme Court. I'll just refer to her as the Lindsey Graham of the US Supreme Court. Iranian President Masood Pzeckian has butted heads with the IRGC. The latter group seems to be remains steadfast in opposition of any deal with the US that does not end on their terms. President Trump at the White House yesterday gave a potential timeline for a US pull out from Operation Epic Theory. President Trump made those remarks during a signing ceremony for an executive order aimed at showing up mail-in voting and voter citizenship and ID for voting this morning. President Trump became the first sitting president to attend and observe oral arguments at the Supreme Court, the court heard arguments pertaining to the historic birthright citizenship case. Meanwhile, a federal judge in Massachusetts on Tuesday tried to block a Trump administration policy that terminated temporary parole status for nearly a million illegal aliens who were granted the benefit out of thin air by the Biden administration after they entered the United States using a mobile app that was originally designed to streamline the process of checking cargo trucks through the southern border. In Boise, Idaho, the city's mayor wept as she was forced to take down a trans flag yesterday on the so-called "trans day of visibility" one of the over 530 such days on the Rainbowji hot calendar. Yes, Lauren McLean, Boise's mayor, complying with state law banning the flying flags like those of the Rainbowji hot weeps and sings hymns. As she reminds people, the trans agenda is neither religious nor ideological. In Worshastor City, Massachusetts, this video from last year, when viral this week featuring residents showing up to voice their support for turning their town into a sanctuary city for dudes pretending to be women and fighters.

So we have talked on our show for a long time now about and this conversation was being had even before Todd and Erin came to work here that what we are up against is a rival religion that the we used to say the new print progressiveism before it rebranded his wokeness the the new progressiveism is just the old paganism. That's all that it is. All right. And and the and the what we call woke today is really the spirit of the age. And that's a that's a term right out of the scriptures to describe whatever is the godless zeitgeist or cultural prevailing thought or mood that that claims it's smarter and more powerful than God. And in one of his epistles Paul taunts these these notions and he says where is the sage of this age who will dare stand against God elsewhere in the word of God it says the fool says in his heart there is no God. What you what you just saw throughout much of Aaron's montage were fools absolute law souls foolishness and some of them are literally the bearded lady and some of them are the guy with the 36 inch biceps and no balls none can't run and can't run away and coward fast enough. That's the head coach of the patrons. And I think that we need to be reminded every now and then maybe maybe frankly quite a bit that the war we are fighting here is not political and even though we're making everything racial it's also not racial. The the war that we are fighting here is spiritual there's a there's a reason why an Aaron was so apt to point this out that he noticed the term he used when they were lowering the tranny flag and boys what was the term that Aaron used for the song they were singing. What did he call him? Hems. Hems. There's a there's a reason why you see the left show up and sing these ridiculous sounding songs to them they're not ridiculous at all to us they are because we have the exact opposite worldview. On the other hand when we show up at church if you're Todd you could groan chant and if you're the rest of us maybe you put a hand in the air or a hand over your heart and you sing to Jesus on Sundays that sounds ridiculous to them. You're the bearded lady to them you're the weirdo because these these these two things can't share a culture together they never have and I promise you they never will for a long term relationship it's impossible. And one of the things that I see today that I am concerned about that is a tactic on our side and it's a it's a tactic that will lose us this war and that is to argue about whiteness and I see this a lot I see this even with people I like I see this even with friends of mine I see this even with people we've had on our show in the past. Right now we have a Hispanic secretariat of state saying we should consider leaving NATO the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. There are 32 countries in NATO currently. The least white country in NATO is Turkey. Do you guys know what the next least white country in NATO is? The United States. The United States and Turkey are the least white nations in NATO. Many of the other 29 countries that are more white than us are like way more white than us like next on the list is Canada. We're roughly 58% white Canada is like 65% white. Germany the UK they're like in the 90% time way wider than us. And yet all those countries are more woke they're more pagan they're more godless they're more sims for Islam than us. So how do we explain this? How do we explain that the NATO countries that we have nothing in common with other than whiteness are way worse than us yet at the same time the the wider you are in America typically the more right wing you are that's also true right you know we know that from demographics okay so how do we explain this demographic or I'm sorry how do we explain this dichotomy well first of all let's acknowledge this there is clearly a war on whites in America and we need to push back on it with maximum prejudice but I think if you want to defeat it you need to know its true origins and purposes. This is occurring because the white evangelical church even in its diminished state. Did you guys see that Pew study about a week ago that looked at the religious trends of what people really think on on cultural issues and white evangelicals were like way out of now listen as a white evangelical myself I'm like that percentage is too low okay but we were still like way out ahead of every other demographic group see that's your reason why that's your reason why even in its diminished state the white evangelical church in this last generation still preached enough gospel that it created a critical mass of voting opposition to the spirit of the age and a critical mass of voting opposition that does not exist in any other Western country other than here. This is why I keep saying countries like the UK you're not going to be able to vote your way out of this now you can't sadly you're going to need in the UK frankly you're going to need the kind of existential level of disruptive protest that finally finished off the Soviet Union the the Boris Yeltsin protest that finally finished off the Soviet Union you're going to need that are you going to need revolt you can vote your way out of it you don't have a critical mass of candidates to vote for they don't exist in that country Nigel Faraj has gone soft it's just not a critical mass of of candidates to vote for let alone if you had the votes and you don't and so therefore for the last generation really all that stood between America and the spirit of the age doing to us what it did to all these other NATO countries that are way wider than us was the white evangelical church and because that white evangelical evangelical church has no critical mass only two percent of France is evangelical for example since there's no critical mass of that white evangelical church in these other predominantly and way wider countries than us they're all way woker way more pagan way more godless way more Muslim and this is why what I just articulated to you this is why the left's most potent language is reserved for whites and they want whites to buy into this as primarily a racial identity thing and not what it truly is which is a religious one that's really what it is and the longer that we go without seeing it this way that is really a spiritual war manifesting as a political racial fight the more likely it is that the left is going to win and we are going to lose but
because it's the longer that we see it that way. The less inclined we're gonna be to bring out the greatest weapon we have. The greatest weapon ever forged in the history of this third rock from the sun. And the only undefeated and perfect thing on this planet, the word of God. There's a reason why your enemies say, make your arguments without the Bible. There's a reason why tyrannical countries always take the Bible and try to ban it. 'Cause they can't beat it. If you kept getting beaten by the same team all the time, you'd want them out of your league too. And so if we're gonna wield nebulous whiteness, instead then you don't even really, you can't beat an enemy, you don't really know. Now I've been white for 52 years. I've been married to a white woman for almost 30 years. I've raised three now adult white children that to varying degrees are well adjusted and love Jesus. And I have to tell you, I have no idea what whiteness is. I don't know what that means. I never once told my kids we're gonna do this because we're white unless it was a joke. I mean, how often do you correct Ben on the grounds of whiteness at your house, Aaron? It's been a really low number. Really? How about your four daughters? Are they like holy crap, man? I'm disappointing the white race. I gotta get better grades. Have they ever said that set in South Laud? Do you? I'm sorry, dad. No, no, no. All the whiteness in the world didn't save the UK. It didn't save Germany. Any other place in the world. Because the war on whites is really a war on Christianity. If those whites were voting demographic, I'm sorry, the whites were voting Democrat with the left be issuing a war on whites right now. No, no. And that's why whenever there's a Jaden IV or a Tony Dungie or a Clarence Thomas, all those guys cease a Thomas soul, they stop being black and they start just being one of we white guys. Because it's not about whites. It's about what you believe. They love white people who vote their way. That's what it's about what they, what you believe. Not the color of your skin. The enemy will show you his true motives. You just have to hear them. Now I promise you, if you attempt to fight this evil on whiteness, you cannot win. It's impossible. Cannot happen. First of all, you're playing on the enemy's playing field. Evil is the home team on racial sectarian divisiveness. That's their language. Can't beat him at it. But second and most importantly, God won't let you. God has no interest. He's no respecter of persons. He's not here for the preservation of a culture or a heritage or some bloodline. Did that once, that covenant was fulfilled in Christ? We're in a new one now. We're not doing that anymore. He's interested in his work and calling people to repentance in Christ. This is why Jesus is Lord. This is why Christ is King through one man sin. Adam, we fell through another man's sacrifice. Christ, we rise. And what has arisen from Christ is the most successful, potent, powerful and demographically diverse movement in the history of this planet. Now, let me make this also clear. We are absolutely permitted to want our own traditions, our culture inhabited by people who share them. The preservation of our own way of life. As much as I am bleeding in my soul for the savagery, our Nigerian brothers and sisters are facing right now, if they were to be my neighbor, I'd have way more in common with some cynical Vietnam that that lived next to me and never been a church in his life, but we like the same sports teams and celebrate the same, you know, customs and holidays and eat a lot of the same foods. I've been pretty vocal. I think we ought to have an immigration moratorium. I think we ought to have mass deportations. I think that we ought to have a closed border. You have every right to preserve your heritage. And just because your white doesn't mean you don't get to preserve the traditions and customs associated with your culture. While everybody else does. America should be for Americans, not foreigners. An American is an American citizen. We are a nation of citizens, not immigrants. The Great Commission does not call us to mass migrations, but missionaries. We're not called to replacement theory, but individual regeneration. However, we can, we must never forget this. You're never going to preserve a God-given culture with another form of Godlessness. It can't happen. The Elzebub cannot cast out the Elzebub. The choices here are not more whiteness and less diversity. How the white folks doing in having kids, by the way, right now? I'm not great. Who's aborting? Who's doing? Who's having a whole bunch of abortions right now? Them. Yeah. So we're not even, even if we tried, would we even win some kind of demographic birth off? Would we win that one? No. Because the foreigners are coming here and having way more kids per capita than the white folks are having. Yeah. It's white women that are voting single white women that are voting for all these abortions on demand and having quite a few of them. The choices really are Christ or chaos. Those are your choices. Those have always ever been your choices and those will always be the only choices you have for something will always rule and something must always be worshipped. It is world view and not demographics that is destiny. Europe has all the demographics we're looking for. And yet none of us think they have the superior culture to us at the moment. In fact, we're debating now on our side about whether we should decouple from Europe even faster than Israel. Holy week is a reminder that it is not nostalgia. You know, one of the reasons why they, one of the reasons why the Jewish leaders, many of them missed Christ, was their cultural nostalgia. Oh, wait, we're sinners too. We have to repent too. I thought we were going to just go, you know, instantly restore the kingdom of David and rule here. I thought we're going to make the greater Israel project that comes right out of the Bible. We're going to make it happen right now. You mean to say, even though through all my robes and how much Torah I've memorized, I have to still repent of my sins. That I'm just like these lay people out here doing the sacrifices every day. That I haven't arrived that our culture is not unique and special. I have to repent too. Yes, cultural nostalgia fails. And whoever is willing to suffer the most for what they believe in wins and ultimately gets to determine culture. Gentlemen, your thoughts. I have just Daniel thoughts. When he says you sure you want me to come on the show today, these are my thoughts. I don't we're not serious about what you just said, Steve, when you make those comparisons about our similarity to the pagan next door, even though we spiritually might have more common than with the person in theory in Nigeria, that how often does that theory actually play out? This is why I bring up all the time. The person going to church, even every Sunday on the cul de sac almost looks exactly the same as the pagan living on the same cul de sac. And it's because of that last part you talked about, see the willingness to suffer, which has always been the game. It's not some egg-headed idea. It's actually the cross and we don't like it. And we keep running away from it instead of running to it. And just the mere fact of bringing that up to people in various obvious ways that you're telling them, and I do this all the time, you're telling them not to stop it altogether. You're telling him it's gone too far. They hate you for it. How dare you? I'm just something drastically has to change. And you know, we're afraid of boots on the ground in Iran. I get it. You know what? The modern Christian is also afraid of boots on the ground right here in America. You know, we don't want to go to war about anything. Can I just be left alone? Well, that's why you're getting lecture to it by the fools and Aaron's montage and that in that city council video. Yeah. That's why you're getting it. Yeah. It's time to let the line out of its cage really. You know, I think there are some when it comes to what you're talking about with whiteness. What is whiteness? You know, I think it was the Smithsony. I brought this up in passing very quickly in an overtime earlier this week. It was like the Smithsony in her. Some national museum brought up blackness or something. What blackness meant. And it was a bunch of things that were like not exactly good. Flattering. Yeah, they weren't flattering, but they were trying to make it sound like it was a good thing. And so his whiteness, you know, the opposite of these, you're still playing the enemy's game. You know, whether you're running a political campaign, you've said this, I've heard you say this behind the scenes so many times, whether you're running a political campaign, whether you are coaching a team, are you going to have more success accentuating what you are good at or trying to be better than what the enemy is good at? You're going to be better at accentuating what you are good at in the biblical world view. Greater man, half no greater. Greater love, half no man than this that he would lay down his life. That's what our world view does really well. What does that require? What Todd was just talking about, suffering. That's what we do well. We're supposed to anyway. Now I don't follow it that closely, but one of the things I see, I don't know what is what's what's the trope here that they do just go on each other's shows all the time and tell and and essentially, you know, intellectually, do the intellectual equivalent of manual manipulation in a circle? Okay. Or is the trope that they do do that? You see what I'm saying? Is that not really true? But do you guys get the sense that these just the same six people go on the same podcast all saying the same things to each other all over and over again? Do you guys get that sense? That I mean, everybody's got, I mean, heck, this show has a group of that people that are on more often than others. So I that's not my like, when I think of them, that's not my lament if I have one. I mean, it's kind of normative that you do, but I don't even know. Like it's just the two big. The big situation is that they're kind of these five or six shows are all a cabal and they just kind of go on each other's shows to feed each other's friends. They used to elevate each other with their, you know, retarded, you know, foreign policy views. This isn't for everybody else in conservative media to suddenly talk about one certain group selling out. I don't know that it's not the hand you got to play on this one. I'm not buying it. Okay. I think the best thing is just to take each person individual, individually, in a case by case basis. Okay. Jonathan has this tonight's presidential prime time speech will be about the launch of the Artemis II, but timed to freak out Iran with the potential. He could be announcing a ground invasion. Do you buy the overall sentiment? This is some sort of big head fake. Now Caroline Levit did say specifically last night this address will be regarding Iran. Still they could pull a fast one.
I think there will absolutely be an address on Iran tonight. And I think that there's like three or four approaches of what it will say that could go down to 10 minutes before the address before we decide which one it is because there's an ongoing leveraging and negotiation happening here. So I think they range anywhere from there could be of the three or four one that announced the ceasefire, at least a some kind of 30 day temporary ceasefire, you know, to see the Iranians will keep it. Or hey, we're sending in the green berets. I think and or and then there's a couple that one or two that could be in between. Okay. That's the one could be hey, we're making progress, but we're still negotiating and they've again, and I gave Iran what how much time was it gave him for the straight to roll like the six. I think that's okay. All right. So they've got another week here almost, you know, to open that up. Otherwise, we're going to bomb them back to the I think there's it's a choose your own adventure book. It's choosing which adventure the president to decide to declare tonight. That's what I think. The only honest answer about what this might entail is the one you just gave uncertainty because we are. Listen, we've been given a lot of benefits of the doubt to the uncertainty on multiple fronts with this thing because Iran is absolutely an evil entity that has not just overt malicious designs, but carries them out on the regular. So if that was not the case, we'd this would this would be basically looking like our analysis of Ukraine because we just the communication about what's been going on has not been great. Right. And one different the major difference here is one has defined has has has acted as a threat against interest and declared that they are yes and and want you and plans on being even more so any other has not right. So that again has bought a lot of benefit of that on people and you know, the show is exhibit number one. We're we're trying. We are trying. Next we go to DJ Miller who says if Democrats were made an offer to secure nationalized health care, seeing as we're already there with Medicare Medicaid and the VA, but illegal have to go due to program costs. Democrats still wouldn't sacrifice any future of voters even to score a key campaign sales bitch item. In fact, you're so right. It's the Republicans ought to do this to expose it actually. The Republicans ought to say all right, nationalized health care, but you have to be a citizen. This is an and make and make Democrats say that we're not for that in order. So okay. So really then the only issue you guys really care about that is that we can't have a citizen or we can't have a country no matter what the policy is. It can't be a country for Americans by Americans to Americans. It can't be no matter what the policy is, even if it's your own policy, it cannot prioritize the American people. The Republicans actually ought to suggest that. This has been happened multiple times on multiple issues, which is why I've often presented to you my hard cases abortion. Philosophy. This is another version of that. Oh, really the hard cases rape, incase, tell them. Those are your problem. Okay. You have that whatever that is. I'm 100% you give me the rest of them. They'll never take that deal. Ever. Even though you think it's a moral, you should put it on the table for them because they'll never say. Yes. They can flesh out the false objection. Yes. And make them show you that they wouldn't take it if offered. Yes. Listen, I remember after this, the state of the Union speech and I talked about how well the president did, he made this very point. Stand up if you think we had to prioritize Americans instead of illegals. Yes. No Democrats stood up, right? You see, and I and I walked out of there feeling, hey, we're back on message, everybody's unified. We never talked about we're going to invade Iran. We know so long it'll take four weeks, five weeks. I don't know. You know, maybe I'm listening. I want us to win. I hope I hope we kill every single member of the since we're there, I'm just not I'm going to go on the record. And I say this, I think it's totally biblical against Romans 13. I'm fine if we kill every single member of the Iranian high command and every single member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. I think the world's a better place and God is glorified if they all die. They made their choice totally fine with it. But that's a separate question from we can't run from Tim walls and Minneapolis. Why do we run from Tim walls and Minneapolis and run to Iran? That's a separate question. And now I'm looking at polling from Scott Rasmussen. Support for this thing is dropping. We can't fight for other countries harder than our own. You just can't. It's not 1987. All right, we have a myriad of fundamental problems here. I was in North Dakota this last weekend and I cannot tell you how many people I heard from man, I cannot find a good husband for my daughter. I cannot find a good wife for my son in North Dakota. We at some point we have to prioritize our issues. I agree that Iran is an issue for us. But the reality is we are way more threatened by the fundamental systemic things in our own culture right now than we are Iran. The Israelis aren't but I don't live in Israel. I love Israel. I love I am a Zionist. I don't live in Israel. I'm an American. When you're on an airplane, whenever you get on and I'm on a lot of airplanes, I travel a lot. I speak all over the country. And it's funny, you know, when they warn you, hey, if if if indeed, there's a problem and we lose turbulence, we lose air pressure or the planes going down and the safety mass comes down. What do they always tell you to do? It's yours on first before you put on the one neck to the put you help the person next to you because if you're not secure, you can't help the person next to you. See where I'm going with this. We are arguing right now in the US Supreme Court and I've been following this during the break. Essentially the chief justice of the US Supreme Court thinks it's totally fine if a billion foreigners come here. I'm not terrible and nobody else is. Then wants to make sure that their kids and grandkids are at least as secure from drag queen story hour as the Israelis are from Iran. And I don't think that makes you terrible or an anti-Semite or any of those things and I friggin hate the anti-Semites. I volunteered to take on their grippers at Amfest. I asked for it. I'm going to sell that. Particularly where Tucker's concerned. I mean, he has a long body of work. And I think that's why so many people have been, myself included, have been so challenged by how to relate to some of the zaniness we are saying right now because it's not even some of the positions that he's taking. I know we had the conversation, I think briefly yesterday about my contention is I think that Tucker, at least I think the Ron Paul movement. I see this with some prominent Ron Paul people I know and I follow or follow me. They are, they are, mean listen, Ron Paul is 90 years old. And as a senator, Rand is not really afforded the level of ideological rigidity in that position that his father could have. See what I'm trying to say? Like you're in the Senate man. You're going to take some bad votes. Like he's the most libertarian member of the Senate. Rand Paul is, but he's nowhere near as like consists, ideologically rigid on this as his father was. Okay. So you need kind of a new intellectual fountain head to borrow a, uh, other libertarian man. I mean, I, I need a new fountain head. And I think it's very clear. I don't know if this is what Tucker wants, but I think it is very clear that prominent Ron Paul voices are kind of trying to make Tucker that voice. They're trying to make it happen because he's already got the wherewithal of the, of the celebrity and the, the platform. And I think what you're getting into finding, I think you guys are going to be very disappointed. Okay. Because I think the only thing really paleo about, uh, uh, Tucker is, um, his disdain for Zionism, but I don't think it's coming from the same place that you guys is. And I think once you get past the Zionist part, uh, you're not going to get any of the serious discussion on monetary policy, fiscal, I mean, is it just Trump, I'm sorry, this Tucker talk about anything other than Israel these days? Not that I know. I mean, it's the, it's the overwhelming majority of his content. And it was before Operation Epic Fury ever launched, you know, or it was even on the radar screen that this may launch. So I, but I do think that they're looking for a new fountain head. They, they, they, there's no Ron Paul, um, um, uh, copo that has anything close to the, the, the platform to sustain his legacy. And so they're trying to kind of make Tucker a noit him. And I think you're good to find he's more king saw for you than David would be, uh, I think what you're good to find. Um, Megan has had several iterations in her career. I mean, she's done mainstream media, she's done far, she was the one that Roger Ailes sent out that very first debate in 2015 to try to take Trump down. Remember that. She, when Trump talked about the bleeding from her whatever, after the harsh treatment he got in the debate, he was talking about Megan Kelly when he said that, you know, so she's had different iterations throughout her career. Um, and I don't really know her well enough to make that kind of a judgment. Um, so I, I guess if you, she's been kind to me, you know, but I also don't know her like at all. Um, I, so I think because she's kind of had several different media iterations, if you want to make that claim about her, I might be more open to listening, but not, uh, Tucker believes serious things, whether they're seriously right at any given moment is up for debate. And Steve mentions the two specific people brought up on one side of your equation. Let me address the other side of the equation. You know, they haven't really been the right. What is that? What has it ever been? Isn't if you had to win it down, if there was one pro poster child that you had to win it down just on raw percentages, isn't it closer to John Thune? See, that's not good either. When Daniel Horowitz texted me, yesterday, you don't want me on your show tomorrow. That's all right. And because he was just losing it over the quote, fake right. And I texted him back. What was the real right before the first right? What was it? That's my point. See, we're in this moment with sort of this mishmash populism, Trump, uh, well, it's maga, but it's America first and that's not really an ideology as much as a battle cry. We're here because the previous era failed people. We're here because we did try to be a movement based on shared principles. We sold those principles out for a front row seat at the Republican party. I'm old enough to remember when I had to argue against the Heritage Foundation because it was promoting Romney's Romney care, healthcare mandates and white papers and distributing them around the state of Iowa during the Iowa caucuses and I had to push back on that. We would, we would take anybody that looked like they were going to win any election as a Republican at all, no matter what they believed and instantly make them the most conservative figure that ever existed. And we sold people out and didn't deliver. We had all these Tea Party people go in 2010 and they ended up actually being the most profligate spending Congress in American history. The company I came from conservative review was founded because a very wealthy man was one of the biggest bunlers of the 2010 Tea Party wave. John Bainer did nothing that he promised this guy he was going to do and wasted his money and he looked around conservative media and he saw no one was holding these people accountable. He called it conservative review to troll national review because they sold out their birthright. He went, this is how Daniel Horowitz and I got to be friends. He recruited Daniel recruited me. He found me. He recruited me to join conservative review. The president of the blaze Gaston Mooney was the president of conservative review. He was brought in because he was Jim DeMitt, the most conservative member of the Senate, his chief of staff. We were formed as a company to hit the Republican party from the right because no one would do that. Anything the Republicans wanted to do no matter how left they got away with. It wasn't until George W. Bush tried to cut them and John McCain tried to cut the deal with with the Ted Kennedy for endless amnesty that rush finally stood up and said, no, we can't do this and stopped it. And then Bush turned around and called Russian, all of us basically a bunch of xenophobes. And I know Eric Erickson is just nothing is just a panic attack waiting to happen online since COVID, but there was a time when his red state actually pushed back on the Republican party from the right. That's why Harriet Myers got defeating. We got Samuel Alito instead. We've been selling out to the Republican party the entire time. So along comes Trump. Clearly we can't have a movement based on shared principles because we'll just sacrifice those like the Esauz we are. So why don't we try on transactional shared relationships. And to the Trump's defense, he has moved the Republican party further right than it ever is right now. The Republican party says the most right thing ring things and has done even some of the most right wing things we could have never gotten it to do before. When I suggested 20 years ago in my home state that we needed school choice where the funding followed every child no matter what building that was whether that building was at home or a private school or a charter school or a public school. The funding followed the child. The Republicans looked at me like I had both eyes in the same socket. That's now the policy of the state of Iowa and the policy of the couple dozen states in the country right now. But now see the problem is the limits of when you aren't aligned by by by values. And then when your leader starts getting older and he's a lame duck and he'll never be on the ballot again. And then he starts anointing people not because they share his principles because they they slurped him to the right ratio looking at Joe Kent Marjorie Taylor green. These are now the people stabbing him in the back like Brutus to Julius Caesar at the front of the Senate. Beware the hides of March because it's good to have it'll work to have a political movement on vested interests provided the one who decides whose interests are vested can wield enough power to hold everybody in line with the minute he starts getting older the minute he starts getting term limited people like I don't think you're the pony I can ride anymore. And now suddenly I've got a conscience when they never did and don't know that's what's happening to us right now that what I just described is the last 25 years of the Republican Party in America. So see I can do it in a short amount of time if needed. Not everything has to take half an hour. All right, but I just gave you 25 years in three minutes. That's where we are.
I don't know the way out. I don't. I don't. I tell you if I did. I don't even have a guess. I couldn't even profit you guess. As the great prophet Bill Bellichick once said, it is what it is. Next go to Nate who says, "Pakston Ken Paksston showed us a public method to gain an endorsement and allow Trump to play both sides and win. I see this as one of the few ways to shape the primaries for the better. Other candidates need to take notes." Totally agree and buy. Now you also have to understand that Ken Paksston built his own name ID to the point that he could pull a play like this. The list of people who could do this small, but your observation is still correct. It's among the most deft political moves I have seen in my entire career. Impressive, most impressive. That was a Jedi move, what he pulled here for sure. Well, I agree, but it's mostly Jedi in a sense that it's rare. I mean, really, it's not genius. It's just having a bear modicum of stones and understanding a moment and an opportunity. We used to call that being a man. Well, now you just described why it's so rare. Next is, I was promised a good time who says more people use the various Kalashy polymarkets, predictive markets nationally, to bet on the NCAA Final Four, then turn out to vote in the primary elections nationally. Gosh, this is not even close. Of course, of course, this is true. I'm telling you right now, we're going to have fewer people vote in this statewide. We have not had a gubernatorial contested primary in Iowa in 15 years on the Republican side. 15 years was the last time we had one, 2010. So no, 16 years. We're going to have fewer people vote in this in this gubernatorial primary than voted in the 2016 Iowa caucuses. And that's with an all time record amount of Republicans in Iowa over 700,000 of them. We have a 200,000 voter registration advantage. And I would not be shocked. Rob stand is running unopposed. And I mean, I mean, I may, I may joke or pencil trick myself live on the air if this happens. Don't be shocked if more people vote in the Democratic primary for Rob sand. Unopposed. And we're going to get in the Republican primary. Yeah. And that is beyond. I'm not, I mean, a few days ago I was in the corner cut me, Mick, that's cutting myself if that happens. I mean, I'm cutting myself. That's Aaron's montage. I'm stig modding in the driveway if that happened. They show up. They sing hymns. Yes. Who wrote this Aaron? I don't. I was promised a good time. Yeah, I don't recognize that person. So they're not like a, a, a slappy on my behalf. I'm just saying, based on that, I mean it. I'm asking everybody to read it honestly, objectively. Is that idolatry? That's silence. I get no one wants to come to terms with that. And if it is, what are you going to do about it? Nothing. This is why we're too hard on Lindsey Graham. I'm going to say right now, based on the way I think this midterm is going to go, I'm going to need a post midterm, a Disney vacation. I'm going to need to get away. I'm going to need one. I think I need quite a bit like maybe I'll buy some Tucker nicotine patches. I'm going to need a lot. We won't deal with our idolatry. We can so we can't have high expectations. It's just that simple. SoCal Conservatives says a compilation or highlight reel of Steve's MSNBC appearances back in the day would be the most watched video on Steve's YouTube channel. How about it, Aaron? I've looked for these, by the way. We we kept some of them in our old archives. They're I mean, these appearances all predate you. I don't know how much of that like video because we used to play him on the show like in 2011 and 12 and stuff. When I was on there, so I don't know how much of that is still available to you, Aaron or not how much we've kept all the moves and everything else. I mean, I uploaded a bunch of them on YouTube back in the day, but I know some of them are still some of them are still out there. Okay. I've not watched those in a long time. A long time. My favorite one is when the one I was on with Ed Derendel. And it was actually this one was one of the last ones I did. I think it was before the 2014 or no it was after the 2010 midterms. So it wasn't one of the last ones I did. I can't remember. But we filmed this one at IPTV via Sadduck link. So I will public television. And they have me on with Ed Rendell talking about if I remember right how bad the midterms went for Democrats and I guess may not remember Ed Rendell. I think he was one of Clinton's election victories. I think he was this campaign chairman, Mary Philadelphia ahead of the DNC. Right. You remember Ed. He always seemed like a like kind of a cool dude just way too left wing. Right. But a dude at least maybe one of the last like dudes the Democratic party actually had you know that could relate to people like us. And his whole thing of how Republicans had won the last midterm election. So decisively was gerrymandering. And I'm like, Ed, how do we gerrymander a Senate race? That's that we gerrymander a statewide Senate race. Do you get it? Can you am I missing something? How do you? How do you gerrymander? Do we move population in and out of the state? I mean, I don't know how we gerrymander a Senate race. And it has moved on like, it doesn't matter. Good talking point. That's one of my favorite ones. We gerrymandered winning the Senate. We gerrymandered this winning the Senate. Apparently you can just move people from Nebraska to Minnesota when a Senate seat there. You know, we gerrymander state wide races. Do you know how we do that? You know how that works? Cause I'm thinking we're going to have to gerrymander some folks doing this governor's race. Maybe quite a few asking for a friend. Yes. If you know how to gerrymander a statewide race, which is Ed Rendell accused us of and a thing that him and I did together, I know, SNBC, I'd love to know. I don't know how you do that. And that was one of my favorites. We gerrymandered to win the Senate. Can we do that this year? Can we, I mean, Alabama doesn't mean Alabama has got enough Republican voters can move some of those to Michigan, maybe just we gerrymandered it, you know, rural Alabama is now and, you know, the UP of Michigan. Is that other works? Can we do that? No. Yeah, your own little project Hail Mary going. I do. I do. Yeah. Tell me how we can Ed Rendell accused us of gerrymandering to win the Senate. That was the former head of the Democratic National Committee. Yes. I'm just sitting in a public television studio in Johnston, Iowa. And I'm like, I don't think you can do that. Oh gosh. But I also know this is an issue that, I mean, you would be, I mean, you're going to give Steven Miller a run for his money on. Who on our side has maybe written a more on this topic over the last 15 years than you have, right? So, all right. Let's just use what your knowledge of the issue and what Blake wrote here that we just cited kind of as the takeoff. And now I handed over to you. So Steve, I, that's exactly the point we need to make before the oral arguments. I made the case that this Trump administration needs to communicate very clearly to the public the arguments why it cannot be true. It cannot be true that people could invade illegally assert jurisdiction and allegiance and steal citizenship for themselves in their posterior to the point that even prospectively, the people through their elected representatives have no recourse to prevent them from doing so. So if you have sort of a, you know, a scrimmage line, like a football game and you have a pregnant woman and there's a border agent and they're able to get through the line, drop the veil. Nothing you can do. I mean, personally, even if it didn't say you're born in the US and subject to the jurisdiction of the second clause, if it just had the first, you know, first clause born in the US, there is no way you could read that like a milieu, but deal you like a retard that an invader could come in and assert jurisdiction. So he should have made the case, then made another case that people forget within the 14th Amendment, there's something called section five that gives Congress plenary power to enforce the provisions of the 14th Amendment. And not only did they have Article one, section eight plenary power over naturalization, which this interpretation would denude them fully of that right because they don't have control over who's the citizen, foreigners do, but that they don't have control over the 14th Amendment itself, which they do. And then rather than the Save Act, remember, this is a much bigger deal. You're talking about about seven to nine percent of all bursts in the country every year. CIS estimated in a given year that could be about 250,000 people. That's a much bigger deal than, you know, whoever winds up voting illegally as a non-citizen, that should be what he stakes out. Instead, I'm going to show up. We're going to win when the reality is there is not a single legal scholar that believes we have five votes against anchor baby jurisprudence, which in itself is an indictment of Republican judges. John Roberts, this is not an issue that he will permit to be determined five to four. It's going to be minimum six, three, one way or the other. There's no way any kind of hot button issue like this is getting decided by one vote. Well, Steve, the overturning of row is decided by one vote. Well, the overturning of row was, but that case was not. Roberts ruled on a get ruled for the Mississippi abortion ban. He ruled for it. All right. So there were six votes for that. Okay. So I want to go so far as to overturn row and the other five justices did that. Okay. So on something like that, it's almost never going to be five to four. All right. Roberts will craft the idea that him and Amy Coney Barrett are going to vote separately. They vote like 90% of the time together. All right. So, I mean, this was, this is going six, three, one way or the other. Yeah. And so, yeah, it's either it's a question of gorsuch. It's either two or three. I mean, that's, that's really the question. But the reality is that once you tell me that they could redefine marriage, they could redefine humanity, they could redefine sexuality. And then we've had a bill of just yesterday, we had a district judge say that Trump has to keep the CBP one app. So Biden illegally beyond statute takes away Article one section eight of Congress and creates his own visa program. And the judge says you have to keep it. And they're like, okay. You know, I mean, I don't think Trump should have spent time on the ballroom, but he did. And the judge said you can't use it. I mean, it's, anyway, how would that judge like stop the construction from happening? Would he like run out under the under the under the White House grounds? You know, bypass all the security to get there and run onto the, and just stand in front of the cranes for bear for bear. I demand. I mean, how would he stop that from occurring in the first place? It's so fine. Look, Steve, I don't mean to toot my own horn, but it's tough being 15 years before everyone on every issue that Maga fainse outrage and care to care about, but then they don't really see it through. I literally wrote the book on this stolen sovereignty. I said, even if we elected the best people in the world, but if we, a seed to basically this notion that anything a court says is God's law, and you have to affirmatively use your powers against what you know the Constitution to mean and use it to empower them, then we're done. Steve birthright citizenship as that was the crux of the book that I said, if you don't stop this, they're going to create the ultimate stolen sovereignty, which is you don't only, you're not only denuded of the right to self determination on every critical issue, but you're denuded of the right to determine who becomes part of your society. And I warned about this and here we are. And it's, it's going to happen. I would not have frankly appealed the lower court opinions because it was the Trump administration that appealed it because you know what you're going to get. I would have said, I now, I think we all know legally once it's not in the Constitution, which it's not statute just cuts and pays the 14th amendment. So you could do it executively, but I think politically would have made sense for him to stake out his presidency, getting Congress. On the other hand, thanks to the endorsements of the Rhino's over five consecutive cycles, you're right. We don't have the votes. They actually agree with it. Look, one Kim arc. It says blatantly in there that you're a citizen, you come here to immigrant parents if permitted to reside in the US. That line is in the opinion. It's I could go through a bunch of arguments that the solicitor general did not give that. By the way, your solicitor general in Iowa, Eric Lawson did a great job. He actually put these arguments in that the Supreme Court has said, I just want to briefly share with your audience. It has said in an uninterrupted stream of cases for 140 years that if you're here illegally or even given temporary status while we adjudicate your right to remain here, it is in the most literal physical, territorial, geographical sense as if you are standing outside the boundaries of the US. So therefore, even if it didn't have subject to the jurisdiction, if it just said anyone in the US is a born to someone in the US as a citizen, it could not apply to them. They're not in the US. They're outside of it. A bunch of retards are saying, oh, ha, ha, you mean they could commit whatever crimes you want? You don't get the benefits of it. And then, yeah, of course, if you come and invade, we could clamp down on you and capture you, but you can't assert allegiance in that you grab citizenship for yourself. And the fact that we're even debating this is like debating a psych ward, it's mentally ill. And by the way, you know where in the finer case, what was it, 1948, 1950, where Justice Jackson said the Constitution's not a suicide pack, roughly paraphrasing, do you know what that was? That was an American citizen speaking out. And they were worried that that was causing violence and anarchy. Whether it was a local ordinance against, you know, what he was doing and he, he was arrested. That was first amendment rights for an American citizen. And you know, Justice Jackson, who was a champion of due process, lead dissent or at Kuramatsu, Chief Justice at the Nürburgr trials, he was very clear that at some point you have to temper any doctrine with some, a modicum of common sense. And yet here we're applying it to, you know, eight billion people just come and steal it. And again, I don't blame the left for doing that. I blame the fake right for going along with it and they've been doing that until now. The president's going to give, let's, there's going to be way more to say about this in the coming weeks as we await the opinion. But the president's going to give a national address tonight on epic fury in Iran. Said yesterday we are negotiating with the head of parliament in Iran, who has run for president several times in Iran, unsuccessfully, but is also known as a hard liner, although he claims he's more of a technocrat. He's, he's supposed to deliver a letter to the White House some time today before this talk, basically formally asking for a ceasefire. The president said there will be no ceasefire without a complete opening of the Straits of Hormuz. Right. And so Scott Rasmussen has pulling out today that this operation support has dropped nine points just in the last week. You know, we're hitting that four to five week period of time at the president named when we went in right there at the beginning of, uh, or right there at the end of February, beginning of March. So what do you think all this means right now? I mean, politically, I think it's, um, it's a needle in a haystack. You can only lose by so much. So this war is only a few weeks old and long before it, we've had the warning signs of Republicans under performing by 15 to 25 points across the board.
The main thing is the economy. The only thing things like this do is exacerbate the point that the economy is terrible. You're not focusing on that priority and it's getting worse and I'm the blame who's ever with income and power. I don't think fundamentally people care either way on the underlying issue of Iran and if anything, they would agree with the president. But the bottom line is like I said, Israel was doing this for free when they had the element of surprise, Trump pulled them off and then bizarrely a year later decides to do it with weird timing. I'll say this, what is happening prime of fascia is so indefensible that I got to believe that there's more happening than meets the eye. And I know I usually don't give in that grace with domestic policy because you could easily see what's happening with with with matters like this. It's hard to really see. They had to have known about the Straits of Hormuz, they had to game theoryed all of this. So I don't know. You're saying that there, let me make sure the audience can follow you. Like, you could be a rope adope. That's my fault. You're saying there has to be something we don't know because the one piece of strategic leverage Iran was they were never going to be able to stand up to our military, right? They had no chance. So they really only had two fallbacks, terrorism, okay. Terrorism and the Straits, right? Those are their two fallbacks, right? And so this idea that we'd be four to five weeks into this and not have the Straits of Hormuz is like a primary objective already on lockdown. We're already in total control of it. And so they've kind of had this quasi leveraged to negotiate for the last few weeks. What I hear you saying is there must be something we don't know that we are allowing them this, this, this, this perception of some form of leverage when we've been obliterating their military the entire time. Is that kind of what you're saying? No, exactly. I mean, because leading up to this, it looked like he was going to cut a deal with them. And then a day later, it's bombs away. So I think when it comes to things like this, there's got to be more. I would hope there's more. The other marker I would lay down is that, you know, the presumption militarily is that to secure it, you're going to have to have some sort of ground force on the islands, on the shores. But I would argue there actually is another option that I would, you know, I would think it would be a good idea, which is that the streets aren't closed. They're close to us, but they're open for Iran and its allies. I don't see why, I mean, we have the biggest naval build up there that, that we've seen in modern history. I don't see why we can't say, all right, you don't open it up. We'll shut you guys down because remember, they need it opened for their exports and, and their own shipping. So I'm not sure why we haven't been doing that. And that wouldn't even require ground forces. So I mean, these are the sorts of things that I'm going to be looking for. Good to see you, my friend.
