'We're F*CKED' Trump Freaks Out as Congress Launches Investigation!

Following the Democratic takeover of both congressional chambers, the new House Oversight Committee has launched a sweeping investigation into former President Donald Trump and his family, focusing on financial misconduct, corporate cronyism, and abuse within federal agencies like ICE and DHS. Key figures such as Elon Musk, Jared Kushner, and top administration officials are under subpoena, with demands for public hearings, especially regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case and its alleged cover-up. The investigation is framed as a response to widespread public anger over rising costs, war policies, and elite enrichment. Globally, leaders across Europe and the Middle East have praised the outcome as a democratic victory against extremism and corruption, with oil prices dropping in response. Domestically, Republicans blame the loss on Trump’s foreign policies and economic messaging, while Democrats emphasize affordability, healthcare reform, and economic justice. The party is also preparing for future victories in states like North Carolina and Wisconsin, aiming to sustain blue gains in the South and Midwest by addressing core voter concerns such as housing, food, and health care costs. With full committee control now in place, Democrats are poised to enforce accountability, prioritize transparency, and use legislative power to reshape public policy in the coming months.

Two words. That's all it took. Lawyer up. That was the message from the incoming chair of the House Oversight Committee to Donald Trump, his family, and everyone in his orbit. We are going to see an investigation scheme from Democrats, an investigation scheme we've never seen before. And today, from Washington to Moscow to Tehran, the world is reacting to a president who just lost control of Congress and is about to face the accountability he's avoided for two years. A lot of you have questions about the current Senate races, and so I called up DSCC Chairwoman Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, and she joins us later in this video to talk about where things stand in Mississippi, a state that is looking increasingly likely to flip blue, and Alaska, a state that is looking increasingly likely to flip blue. I'm also joined by none other than Congressman Robert Garcia shortly to talk about the massive investigations that Oversight is going to be looking into when they take over. Lots to cover. We're working around the clock. If you can, subscribe to support this work. Like, comment, share. The more you do, the more people see. We are surging right now, and I'm so proud to be doing this with each and every one of you. Starting January, Democrats control every committee in the House and the Senate. That means subpoena power, hearings, depositions. It means people who have ignored Congress for two years can now be forced to testify and hand over documents, people like Elon Musk, people like Donald Trump. And Democrats aren't waiting. A source from the White House has told MSNOW to expect a flurry of letters to coming weeks, not just to officials, but also to private individuals and companies. Congressman Jamie Raskin, the incoming judiciary chair, says that their team of investigators is about to expand significantly. Let's talk about what's on the list. Trump's family fortune. Trump's own financial disclosures showed his business has brought in more than $2 billion in 2025. Jared Kushner. Democrats are going to be looking at his role, both as White House envoy and a private businessman, including the luxury resort he wants to build in Albania. The White House is going to be looking at his role as a private businessman. Democrats want to know how this administration handled the release of the files DHS and ICE. CNN reports Homeland Security is bracing for an onslaught of oversight. Pete Hexa, who may be on his way out right now as a Trump administration, Donald Trump himself, is actively considering potentially purging Pete Hexa and Elon Musk, who today, this is what was happening with Elon Musk. He was deleting his tweets in real time, trying to avoid accountability after spending hundreds of millions of dollars to elect Republicans. Only to lose. Elon Musk can delete his tweets, but the internet is forever. Around the world, though, the reaction has been extraordinary. Countries across the globe, world leaders are reacting, making clear that this was a referendum on affordability, a referendum on Trump. World leaders rarely comment on American midterms today. They couldn't help themselves. Spain's president or Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez says that Americans voted against hate, machismo, climate denialism, and the privilege of voting. Hexa and Elon of the elites and predicted the same thing will happen in Spain. Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk, meanwhile, declared that democracy won in America. He was beaming and he warned Trump not to govern by veto. Germany's defense minister congratulated Democrats on a historic victory. Norway's Prime Minister called it a powerful signal that Americans want a change of course. In Canada, Ontario Prime Minister Doug Ford was doing cartwheels, cartwheels down the street. In South Africa, the president says the American people have spoken in a new era in world relations is beginning. Now let's look at the Kremlin. Russia's spokesman says Trump still holds office and that Moscow sincerely hopes he'll continue what is called his peacemaking efforts. A senior Russian lawmaker admitted that Trump now is in a negative situation. In Iran, the country's top negotiator says Americans said no to war. One analyst put it this way, Netanyahu lost two elections in one week. And here's a striking signal from the markets. Oil fell below $100 a barrel for the first time since September, dropping about 8% in a single day. Back at home, the Republican finger pointing is growing. J.D. Vance posted a 600 word statement telling everyone that the reason Republicans lost the war lost last night was because of the war. He said Trump 2024 voters switched to Democrats because they wanted the war to end lower costs, a real America first agenda and different relations with Israel. Ron DeSantis called it an extinction level event for Republicans. Marjorie Taylor Green called Trump a cult leader. Wisconsin Representative Glenn Grothman said Trump talks in ways that aren't very presidential and turns people off. Meanwhile, Democrats continue to add to their gains. They've now won full control of state governments in Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Majority of governorships for the first time in 16 years, flipped governorships in Texas and Georgia, flipped the Texas Attorney General's office and the Texas State House. We're going to have more updates soon. But first, Congressman Robert Garcia joins us to talk about the massive investigations planned against the president of the United States. Great to be joined today. Congressman Robert Garcia, the incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee. Congressman, I got to jump in. You put out a two-word statement last night after Democrats flipped the House of Representatives. Lawyer up. What do you mean by that? Well, I think there's going to be accountability. I mean, the reality is that we have the most corrupt person ever to be president, the most corrupt family to ever be in the White House. The amount of grift, the amount that the Trumps have stolen from the American people to enrich themselves, their billions of dollars richer to enrich their donors, to pay off anyone that essentially bows down to their family. So it is time for there to be real accountability in this country. People want there to be justice. People want truth. And people want to ensure that we actually are creating a government that stands for helping people, not to enrich those at the very top. Let's walk through the list that you and the Oversight Democrats put out this morning concerning, good morning to everyone except first, the Trump crime family. Is there any way that we can get to the top of the list? Anyone with the last name Trump, his kids, his wife, off limits? No. I mean, look, if you are part of that family, you have been involved in grift. And we've seen that, right? I mean, think about everything from Don Jr.'s red wedding, getting an oligarch to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for the wedding, a son sitting on boards of companies that are getting essentially contracts from the Pentagon, trying to buy private islands, two billion from the Saudis, right when you walk out of the White House from Jared Kushner. The crypto schemes. I mean, the list goes on and on. And so there are serious, serious issues here. There are serious allegations of what they've been involved with, pay to play. And so we've got to investigate. We've got to have real hearings. And we've got to demand there to be justice. One thing that's important that people have to connect is the reason why this is important is because all of this corruption is actually hurting the American family. As people are struggling to pay the gas, to pay the groceries, to pay the rent, the Trumps are getting richer and they're connected. They're stealing from you to enrich themselves. And that's why accountability and taking on corruption is tied directly to affordability. Now, the second group on that list was crony corporations ripping off the American people. A lot of corporations leading up to Election Day kind of saw the writing on the wall and started to try to curry favor with Democrats on Capitol Hill. Will that save them from possible investigations? Absolutely not. If you have been involved with the Trumps or you are engaged in corruption or you're trying to rip off the American public, you should be held accountable for that. And there has to be real hearings, real investigations. Look, there's so much happening right now. When you look at things like surveillance pricing, for example, the idea that companies can take your data and then price different prices for you and your neighbor just because of what they think you will pay. I mean, that is something that has to be looked at. There are companies that have been involved in the creation of Trump's ballroom. We're trying to be involved in donors that are somehow getting favors or the pardons that are being sold. There is a lot of corruption, particularly as it relates to some of the largest companies, CEOs. And we have to ensure that there is accountability there. Let's talk about Epstein. Do you expect there to be public hearings? Because at least over the past 18 months, we've had private depositions that really weren't under oath. Do you expect these hearings to be public under your chairmanship? There will be hearings. There has not been one public Jeffrey Epstein hearing over the last couple of years. In fact, there hasn't been one, period. So they've been in Congress. In fact, what we've had is we've had depositions. Oftentimes, they're not under oath. The media is not allowed in or they're private. They're not open to the American public. What we need to have is real public hearings where we bring survivors in, where people can tell their stories, where folks can be asked questions, where the committee can be engaged. And that hasn't happened yet. We really need justice for the survivors. We need the documents from the DOJ. And so we're not going to stop until we get all of these co-conspirators, that we expose them, and there are actual criminal convictions coming out of the DOJ. And if this current attorney general won't do it, we're going to do everything we can to ensure that the next AG, when we win the White House, will take on these corruption charges. Does that include getting the current attorney general possibly under subpoena up to Capitol Hill? Well, the current attorney general has already promised to testify to the committee, and we're not insuring. We don't understand why James Comer won't push him to do so. I mean, it's ridiculous. Todd Blanch has been at the center of the Epstein cover-up. This is a massive cover-up. It's the largest cover-up. It's larger than Watergate. Everybody from J.D. Vance to Susie Wells, the president, Todd Blanch have all been involved. J.D. Vance was hosting Situation Room meetings on this. And so there's an enormous amount of work to do to get justice for the survivors. Let's talk about ICE and the Department of Homeland Security. Is that something you guys are going to be looking into? ICE agents, specifically what happened in Minnesota during the initial surge earlier this year? Absolutely. Look, these are actually our four main lanes in oversight, which we've talked about the trump crime family the jeffrey ebbs investigation corporate corruption and our fourth are the abuses of ice and dhs what what donald trump has done is he empowered christine ellam and corinne lewandowski early on to essentially create a pay-to-play system there's enormous amount of allegations around corinne lewandowski around christine ellam um where there is an alleged scheme happening where essentially people are making enormous amounts of money by selling access and they were turning our immigration system into where every single person that was kidnapped or sent to a detention center essentially they were profiting these companies are profiting off of the inhumanity of how we treat people and at the same time lewandowski as has been reported in the media it was somehow engaged in creating this access getting getting paid off and we want to know the truth did that happen what did lewandowski actually know what did christine noam actually do and know as she set up these systems and so justice for the people that have been brutally murdered kidnapped detained um that's going to be our fourth major lane i do want to ask you elon musk do you want him testifying under oath oh i think the entire democratic caucus wants him uh testifying under oath i think uh elon's work to destroy the federal uh workforce uh stealing people's data uh i think it's really important and i think you know we've got to ensure that we do everything we can to get accountability from these these powerful men that are running in some ways the republican party in the country i mean i mean this man spent half a billion dollars on the election he had contracts and we're and we are funding his spending uh with all these contracts that uh that his companies are getting so absolutely i think it's important for us to it's not just about elon musk it's about the system that we've created there has to be fair it's an unfair political system that needs to change congressman thank you so much for the time i appreciate you thank you that was congressman robert garcia and now senator kirsten jillibrand joins us to talk about where things stand in mississippi and where things stand in alaska two critical senate races but a quick word from our sponsor first all right we got some big news right now i recently received a threat to myself and my family it was real it was scary but thankfully i was able to make sure it did not happen again with a newborn in tow making sure that my family is protected is truly top of mind for me and reporting on topics that i do often lends credence to threats including the one i received recently to my inbox it's why i'm continuing my partnership with delete me i've worked with them for many months delete me has helped protect my personal information remove it from data brokers websites like third-party sites where essentially my personal information email addresses addresses phone numbers etc would be on they've helped wipe it and it's really helped protect me protect my family because right now with threats even greater i truly know delete me has my back and i want to make sure you can protect yourself too it's easy go to the link below use code aaron and protect yourself and your loved ones this year now back to the news now our conversation with senator gillibrand great to be joined by senator kirsten gillibrand now senator i gotta jump in because you led the dscc this cycle you guys had some huge wins last night in a really big blue tsunami but two outstanding senate races have yet to be called give us an update on mississippi and alaska so mississippi every vote needs to count um we have really big wins last night and we have really big wins last night and we have really great intel that there's a lot of provisional ballots that were filed in counties that we think will go for scott colomb scott ran a great race it was an energized grassroots oriented race he's been organizing voters for the last year and a half and he's really about to deliver for mississippi and so i'm very optimistic so we've sent a bunch of lawyers down we're going to make sure all of these ballots are actually counted and preserved so there can be no shenanigans but we believe scott has the votes to win and what about alaska and then in alaska again every vote needs to be counted we are up by i think last count i saw maybe 700 votes um but we still have not all the vote is in um we believe that mary peltolla ran a formidable race uh her fish family freedom was authentic from the beginning about the economy of alaska and how people are really hurting uh trump's attack on americans through his chaotic terrorists for a war in iran that nobody wants has driven up fuel costs for a lot of people especially in alaska and i think it's really devastating for alaskans especially in a place like alaska where diesel fuel is really important and that being over six dollars a gallon nationwide and i think it's much more in alaska i think it's over something like ten dollars a gallon and so it's really hurt the ability to ship goods across that state for people to get access to groceries to get affordable health care it's really been devastating for alaskans and her opponent did not stand up to trump did not stop this war in iran did not stop these wars in iraq and it's been a very long campaign from the beginning so i'm optimistic she's going to keep consolidating those votes and win if you would have told me we would have had a democratic senator in south carolina potentially in mississippi and the democrat in louisiana loses within two or three points a few months ago i would have told you you were crazy how did you guys do it you know it was the the inspiration of these candidates uh we had so many inspiring candidates talking about the issues that people care about um if you look at these candidates somebody like a josh turk in iowa very refined candidate and i think that's what's going to be the josh turk in iowa very reflective of iowans already represented a red part of iowa was very authentic and believable on issues of groceries and housing and health care you had newcomers like annie andrews in south carolina a pediatrician who understands firsthand that access to health care is everything for a family so again being authentic being able to translate people's worries and fears into policy and ideas and the change that people are looking for um you just saw these inspiring candidates over and over and over again look at james tellerico and john ossoff you know both fundraising behemoths people wanted to support their campaigns even though their states both georgia and uh texas are so red uh you really just saw a deluge of support nationwide for these up-and-comers who have um just an urgency about the change they want to bring to this country i want to ask you about what happens in january when you guys take over but before we get there we have two months of this kind of lame duck session do you anticipate that cabinet members may resign that a supreme court justice nomination may be open i mean what can happen over the next two months realistically well uh we will do everything we can to block any supreme court nominee um this administration continues to double down on its far right judges and justices who do not support the rule of law uh so we will do everything we can i i don't know what else trump will try to do in this lame duck but we will block as much as we can and then when we are in charge in january we will focus entirely on lowering costs for american families uh ending this war in iran so we can get fuel costs and food costs down ending the tariff's that are just wrecking havoc to small businesses and farms and manufacturers across the country and do whatever we can to get people better health care that costs less money um access to health care is everything and people cannot afford it donald trump said last night that he spoke with democratic leaders he wants to work with democrats did did you speak to him no he did not call me i did not talk to you he did not do you think that do you think that he is actually genuine when he says he wants to work with democrats well i certainly hope so because the truth is if he's gonna if we try to get medicaid for all the people who were already cancelled off medicaid and we try to fix medicare and get vision and dental and hearing covered i mean it would be obscene for him to veto something like that and these are the kind of reforms and investments that could be bipartisan so hopefully he's is interested in fixing health care and getting grocery costs and housing costs down and hopefully ending this illegal unauthorized war but i think we need to talk about that a little bit more and i think it's important for us to talk about that because i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important for us to talk about that and i think it's important war that's driving up their costs. And what makes them angriest is President Trump seems to have unlimited money for bombs and ballrooms and his billionaire buddies and not enough money for Medicaid or simple things like the SNAP program or Meals on Wheels or, you know, early childhood education. So they're really angry about the choices he's making. And that's why this was such a big change election. So we do have the ability to stop funding of things. We do. And we did even last year outmaneuver the president on a bunch of things. We, through bipartisanship, restored maybe 80 percent of the doge cuts to get good things back into people's communities. But it still wasn't enough because people are struggling. And so we will use every power we have. We will make sure that President Trump cannot spend money that the American people don't want spent. And we could do everything to stop the war, including withholding funding. Now, before I let you go, I do want to look ahead to 2028. and 2030, because the Senate map does become a little bluer for Democrats moving forward, How do we make sure that the wins that Democrats saw last night aren't one-offs, that James Tallarico could defend the seat in six years, and that in two years and in four years, Democrats can once again play in red territory? Yep. So next cycle, two of our top targets are definitely going to be North Carolina and Wisconsin. So we can double down on Roy Cooper's victory by electing another fabulous Democrat to North Carolina, and would then try to regain the Democratic seat we had in Wisconsin. And then there'll be other seats as well. But if you look at the map, we now are really bringing blue down into the South, into the Midwest, into parts of the country that were very red before last night. And so we do have to continue to deliver for the American people, listen to voters, understand where they're at, and get their stuff done. If they want lower prices, we have. to work on lowering prices. If they want better, cheaper health care that meets their family's needs, we need to deliver that. We have to strengthen Social Security to make sure people's retirement is there for them so they don't die in poverty. These are the mandates of the cycle. And the way you hold on to your leadership is you continue to deliver on the issues that people want done. And that starts with listening and then finding bipartisan collaboration and getting it done. Senator, I appreciate the time. Thank you. Hey, folks, thanks so much for watching.
