1204: Walker Cup, Presidents Cup Picks + TC’s Ireland Trip

And once in like six years, this is going to be a very tough one. Long, yeah, weird, weird day. Our budget was to travel to the Netherlands for the Solheim Cup. We're going to really be able to watch the end of the Walker Cup and get somewhere to be able to record if our flights went as scheduled. That did not happen lucky for us. We changed plans, did a segment on it this morning like, all right, well, the US swept the morning like, let's just let's do the whole thing now. Like the US is going to win. Now we're re-changing back to do an airport pod. Airport top-up. We had the rest of the podcast here in a few minutes. It's going to be a pre-recorded day. But we needed to completely redo the Walker Cup stuff because that was one of the great days of viewing we've had in quite some time. >> Yeah, and we're going to get into it. This is just a magical afternoon. >> Like Sally said, we kind of, we saw the US sweep the morning. We're kind of like, they're going to go run off. And Yada, Yada, Yada, we can talk big picture about Lahinch. And what it means to have the Walker Cup in the game of golf wins again. I don't think we knew how much the game of golf was going to win by. Because that turned into like one of the best golf watching afternoons of the year. I think, I mean, were you guys watching on the way to the airport? What were you doing? >> I was watching on the flight. >> Yeah, I've been on in delays. I was on the phone with American for 35 minutes during the most exciting stretch. So I did have some of it on without sound. Which might be an upgrade from Notepagay trying to tell us what's going on out there. But I mean, it was just like, weirdly, I'm pretty detached from the results of this thing. Like I will not get a mostly upset about the US winning this losing this. I'm like the Ryder Cup. And it was so surreal to just like watch it. Like you could see the car crash coming from six steps ahead. And not feel anything about it, not be stressed about it. I was like, oh, this is how it happens. Oh, they got to get this put to the hole. Nope, that's short. All right, well, Miles Russell's got to make this one kind of having seen the guy make a big putt in all the golf I've watched and play over basically this entire summer. That one didn't go in. All right, well, they got it. They need a miraculous bunker shot from about 45 yards here. Get this up and down to actually. Oh, my god, they pulled it off. Like every time they're backed up against the wall, the odds are not in their favor. It completely went GB and I's way in front of an awesome crowd. And just an absolutely stoked environment. In the pre-recorded part we did. We just talked about how sick stew was. Stew had a pretty tough gag there at the end. Like really needed that point pretty bad. That ends up costing them the walker cup. It was you like it would sports are going to completely flip the expectation on it on its head. And I've never seen the everything app as enthused about a golf event as they were this one. Yeah, just, I mean, all the above. Sally, when Randy and I say we see a path to victory, this is what we're talking about. Okay, he just got a belief. And I know the stats, the stats don't back it up, but sometimes magic happens. And that's why I play the games. Exactly. That's why they play the games, TC. First GMI victory since 2015. I believe hold on. Hold on. You were equally culpable in the whole part. We recorded it with earlier about the GP and I losing. You did. Oh, I was. And they've got, I mean, gray hands are reinstated amateur. That's the thing, that whole thing. And, yeah, I mean, but, you know, sports, man, sports. If you, if you did not watch a ton of the Walker Cup, GB and I took a one point lead. I believe into the final day. Of course, the Walker Cup is just Saturday and Sunday. It's a foursome session in the morning singles in the afternoon. They had a one point lead after the first two sessions or after after the first day. And then got absolutely swept. First thing this morning in the the American foursums. It was four matches, four American points, three point lead going into the singles. It is, I mean, it's a massive comeback. But singles, there's fewer singles matches than in the rider cup. It's even harder to flip a three point advantage. There's less points on the board. It's just a, it's some kind of miraculous victory. And GB and I came out hot right out of the gates. Jack Whaley, absolute drumming of T.C.'s guy, Williams Jenning Brian. Eight and seven victory there. I think one of the biggest margins of victory. We've seen it a Walker Cup. They won the first four matches until Niles Shields, Don again, have his with Akina, which was an awesome match. Two haggestats. Niles may have gotten just a little tidy bit ground on 16 in the part three. A one hop scooter over the greenside bunker right to like a perfect spot. I ended up winning that hole. Yeah, you mentioned it's all about two haggestats. Was was chasing trying to flip that one. Strange driver off the deck on 18 from him kind of put. He was trying to force it up there trying to to make a birdie. Put himself out of position. Wasn't able to to get a half there. Great putt, man. That was such a good putt. Like I that had to look so good. His eye from about 35 feet. Holy I can't believe you're sitting in the in the terminal. With them like where else am I supposed to go? We don't have allowances man. We're gonna go so tough. It's so tough miles miles Russell. You kind of mentioned it. Solid a couple couple good looks coming down the stretch. He had a nasty bunker shot on what was at 15 14. That that almost went in. But man, couple puts when he had to have them just. Kind of low side lobs. Just like not not great looks and ends up having that match. With Connor Graham production kind of slipped there. Well, we needed a most had no idea. You know, I don't think you ever want to hear him say like. Which granted look it's windy. It's rainy. It's it's probably not the A team that's over there. Let's know what ends up happening. You know, behind the behind the scenes there. But it's just I felt I felt for Paul McKinley and Noda. Is there just like, I don't know man. If that's his second shot, this could be crazy. It was his second shot over the green there at 18. And yeah, Connor Graham playing his third Walker Cup with just a massive another massive putt to snake a half point there at the end. And it all comes down to the Josh Hill Tyler Watts match. Tyler Watts blows it a mile left into some gnarly rough on the 18. It's kind of a clunky second shot. Watts forces up there into the greenside bunker and hits just a grotesque bunker shot. With the Walker Cup on the line leaves himself like three feet. Hands are shaking. The entire country of Ireland seemingly just like circling. Not Watts Hill. Sorry, sorry, sorry, Josh Hill. Yes, playing against Tyler Watts. Josh Hill hits a greenside bunker shot. Hits it up there to three feet. The whole home crowd just circling that 18th green. And he just caches it man. And GB and I wins for the first time in what 12 years, something like that. Which, you know, we're we're talking about this morning. Solid and it's like, man, why do they keep playing? Why do they keep playing this match like this? Why don't they add Europe? Why is it so lopsided? It's like because sometimes you fucking win, man. It's sometimes sometimes you get it done. And it just means all that much more. I'm just, I don't know, I'm beaming. I don't have a whole heck of a tie to this event other than going in 2023 and 2025. And I was just I was completely glued to the TV watching that finish day. It's that's why you watch golf, man. That's that's pretty much the purest expression of the game. I think we've seen this year. It just it ruled in Joshua last guy on the team too. Yeah, like got picked after a scouting trip. He just balled out in the scouting trip and like wasn't unlikely. You know, that's why that's why you get them on the team right there. That's right. You got an eye test. Eye test. Yeah. There's something about the team match play stuff too that just is like, it's so much more complicated with two hours to go than like a stroke play tournament. Is this like you're like, look at the board and like, okay, well, okay. Well, he's got four holes left and he's two down. So they need to flip two of these and you're just like watching all of this cascade and play out. There's just so. more variables that makes it like you could you could in theory pick up a major with like an hour and a half of it to go and and kind of get the the idea of the tournament and you can't really do that with team match play stuff, man. It's just totally totally it totally flips the the excitement on its head makes it way more balanced and and less just about the actual finish because some truly important finishing moments happen two hours before the final match is finished. How those early matches are decided pressed and stout getting beat twice by by Stewart Grayin was, you know, I mean, that's the difference in their blocker cup right then and there. Number one amateur in the world got beat got beat twice by a 33 year old former pro on TC side. Yeah. Got to shout out Luke Polter also when when it singles match yesterday and then stepping up just nails on 17. It's an awesome shot in there. It's just I know it's such an easy comp. I know it's so easy. I know we're flashing to the shots of Ian Polter, but dude, it's really cool. It's really cool. A man of all the people in the world to be like, oh, it's that guy's son stepping up and being a killer and like team match play that's sick. I'm watching I see blue on the board. I'm watching shots coming in and it says polter on the screen. It's September and I'm like dude, I thought we were dumb with this. I thought I didn't have to live this anymore. I thought we were over this not so much. That's so much. Europe is my need to get them on the team. Why not? Why not? There's something to like this fallen on this weekend with no NFL and like this having the sports day almost to itself and going to a such a cool venue. I mean, we talked about this last year when we went to Cyprus about what, you know, we'd say this every time an event goes to a very cool venue is like venues matter, man, like that connectivity to the town that Lahinch has and the connectivity has to the the people and the support that was felt there on the ground, the noise that was made there on the ground, the partisan nature of all of that, the cool walks between the pubs and the golf course and just having golf feel like connected to a city like Cyprus is a sick venue, complete polar opposite vibe in terms of like the welcoming nature of of the club and things like that, but it it just it gets you really warm and fuzzy about this event and the the I don't want to say glow up attack the heater that it's on right now of like the the future venues it's going to to like now becoming one of the like the best TV golf weekends of the year and they have the hours of coverage to match it. I mean, waking up to this both Saturday and Sunday and having golf on your TV that was super meaningful was just a great, great, great, great cap, you know, PGA tour seasons over but this was such a bonus. Now we're right in the Soulheim Cup, Presidents Cup season. It's just a great start to the month of September. It's fun too with Lahinch just because so many people have taken Ireland trips and have played those golf holes. I mean, Cyprus is great. Obviously it's one of the greatest golf courses on on planet earth. Not everybody gets to play there, you know, so you kind of know the holes a little bit, but but there's probably more people watching that are excited to watch because they've played the calm Diker, they've played the Dell or they've they've seen some of these holes or at least like have a buddy that took that trip and is explaining it to him or whatever. And it's just, I don't know, it's just yeah, venues matter. So it's it's it's just awesome to see really high level golf and also kind of a college kickers sort of sort of element to to this tournament too. It's like those guys are nervous. Those guys are not crazy seasoned professionals. They have the top end game all over again. Yeah. Scoot Scoot Scoot Scoot score for TC. They have the top end game. They have the one eighty five one ninety mile an hour ball speed, but they still get really nervous in events like this. And that just makes for captivating TV because I think you can you can you can twist yourself into and I think we did this after Cyprus. You can twist yourself into like, ah, the results, the results, you know, yeah, the US wins every time and whatever. What are you going to do? You know, it's it's really just about the game of golf and the kind of it's alumni weekend and it's it's the boys coming over from Oakmont to go watch the next generation or and it's like, well, it is better when it's close. You know, and when you see it like this, it's like it can be a legit TV product. You know, I'll be at one probably for the for the real six sickos, but I mean, we're going to ban and dunes next time or going to princes after that. Oakmont, like, there's just it's just going to keep I think keep this run going. It's it's a ton of awesome momentum for the only cup at the only thing it needed. The only thing it needed was a GB and I victory and we got it today against all odds in the most dramatic fashion possible. It's just such a dub for everybody. Maybe we can get Luke Clinton on the squad next time. Yes, that first start hasn't made that much money yet. Nick Dunlap. Brick him back in. Yeah, exactly. Sarge, maybe I love it. I love it. That's what we'll know. It's a real sport, but we start really pushing the line of some of these ethical things. Can we how far can we push it? Get him reinstated and then and then get him on the team within say seven or eight months after the reinstated and just what the water cup is all about. Do you want to say you want to say more of this? Are we using a dance up to the line? Anything else? We got more we got more later in the pod on the reinstated and parts. I don't know if you want to say that about Greed. Greed. I did not realize Greed and won the British hand this summer. And that's on me. But that was that one was just like Oh, come on guys. This is happening. I want to shout out that later. I want to shout out Connor Graham who flashed a lot of dog mentality at Cypress last year. And he's just a total total bulldog. Yeah, he was nine under today on on on eight holes. Now granted he didn't make a par on the last 10 holes. But go to his scorecard. He went from nine on three when birdie, bogey, bogey, birdie, birdie, birdie, bogey, bogey, birdie, birdie, close it up against mild Russell. And in just gnarly rainy, windy conditions, too, which which again, I think maybe it's just top of mind all the PJ tour changes and all of the, you know, all of the kind of restructuring of the postseason and tour championship and all that. But these guys made so many fucking birdies this week at this golf course. Didn't care at all. It was it was so fun to watch in match play. It comes a feature. Yeah. Yeah. It was. It just didn't bother me. You're playing off. Exactly. Like there's no there's less downside risk. I mean, he like going back to Graham, he won the Klondike with an eagle. Eagle birdie there. Sick. That's why I want to watch golf. Yeah. I thought about that of like, all right, the reason why in stroke play, super easy golf courses, it has nothing to do with the actual score. It's just kind of like, all right, over there, like the next 12 holes, you should birdie five of them. And when you do it and how you do it doesn't really matter and you don't do it. It's probably just a par and it just kind of evens everything out. But in match play, it's like, well, the guy you played made a birdie. So you better make a birdie or you lost the whole like and it's it's a completely and it can even out to the exact same thing. If nobody ever wins a hole by more than one shot in that, right? But it's just it gives an immediacy to every like 15 foot birdie putt of like this, this means you win the hole or you don't versus like, ah, mathematically stroke play, you're probably not going to make that like, but it just, it completely flips the excitement level. And that's where like, I think the match play stuff has been viewed through the wrong lens. Like, what if you get a bad final? It's like, well, what if you get a ton of great match play golf on before the final? Like, well, it just let's let's find out. Let's find out the birdie fest in stroke play. I feel like you're watching like one of those World Cup shootouts with no goalie. And the match play is like, oh, now there's a goalie. Like, now there's like consequence. You know, it's not just somebody kicking from 2020 yards away. It's it's everything in context to it. Yeah, exactly. Uh, who else, the most you guys want to shout out from from the weekend at large? I want to shout out Ryder Cowan, uh, so fun to watch. Ryder's dude, he's he's a he's a red blooded American straight up. He was, uh, there you go. Yeah. 12 songs are the good stuff. Yeah. Uh, he, yeah, man, he is, he is magnetic to watch. It was really, really, really fun. Put me, I would say and put like, sign me up for watching that guy go with the travelers against like some PGA tour academy types. You know, it's just like, I'm down for that. You kind of find out pretty quickly in these like who, what you're, you know, you can have some preconceived notions of guys. What you think of of somebody, what you what you want somebody to be. And in this event where we don't have a lot of like history with a lot of these guys when they come on the screen quickly. It's like, well, what's, what's about to happen? What are we, what are we going to get? Everything that flashed Cowan, I'm like, I think he's going to make this eight foot of his outside the hole. And everything that flashed with Miles Russell is kind of like, I just don't think he's going to make this. I don't, and a lot of the UST. I'm like, I just don't think you're going to make this very time that flashed a Cowan. It was like, dude, I think I think I can count on you here. And he delivered every single time it felt like he came on the screen. Yeah. Yeah. I think, uh, him, I think, I mean, I don't know. I'm kind of bummed too. Didn't get it. I know. I know, man. What's it been six Walker cups? Now I think he's like, his singles record is like, I think he's played nine matches or something in one eight of them before today. Uh, or I guess still, you know, he's played 10 in one eight of them. Uh, he's only lost twice. And it's, I know he gets, he gets a lot of a lot of shit. I know he's kind of an avatar for the, uh, are these guys amateurs or are they not amateurs? I get it, man. Still has to go hit the shot. And he still has played really good in these tournaments and he tends to do it with a smile. I saw him behind the scenes at St. Andrews, even like up close, Mike's on, Mike's off, cameras on, cameras off, same guy, just like very earnestly trying to mentor people, trying to get him ready for it, trying to make sure they get the most out of their opportunity and the most out of their experience. He's got good context on like what it means and how guys are gonna view it. Did you see that USJ thing this week that like they about him name it all the his past name and every guy. Yeah, yeah. And then like him talking about tying certain guys ties. Yeah, which we got to do that. Like go watch it. If you haven't watched it, if you're Jones for more Walker Cup stuff on our YouTube channel, we did a week in the life with the 2023 team. And being in there for that scene, it's like one of the most memorable things we've ever shot where like you do realize very quickly. Like yeah, these guys like I said, they have 190 ball speed. But they also don't know how to tie ties. Like they're little kids. It's crazy to see it. And it just is such a unique event in that regard because you see them playing this crazy high level golf on crazy historic venues just before they've kind of turned into the tour pros that they're all trying to be. You know, it's such a it's such a cool event. And like I said, I'm just I'm just so kind of over the moon that they got a result like this, because I think it just makes it even more fun when we go to fucking band and dunes next time. Like it's just it's going to be it's going to be great. It's all they got to play it every year, man. You know, cool event. And it's kind of graduated from hipster status. This is a cool event that just like, no, I can't just golf it. Just watch it, right? It's not it's not like you should the coverage has evolved of this one as well. I think in this is we're seeing the payoffs too of like going to increasingly good venues. And kind of foxes treatment of it wasn't nearly I mean, I think there was some wasn't their controversy. We weren't even airing the European version of this one. And so now it's, you know, we went from seminal to old course to to cypress now to to a hinge and now to band and it's like it I feel like the interest is starting is catching up to all of this. And it feels like there's just a very genuine genuine buzz around it. So congrats to everyone involved. It's good for the professional ecosystem, right? You want to totally make names of these guys. And, you know, like PGA tore you for all its good stuff. Like there's there's not a lot of times that you can actually watch these guys play college golf other than the NCAA championships and maybe, you know, the the Western and collegiate and a couple others. But this is like everybody's got the context for these golf courses and everything. I think Hoylake was the one that that Fox didn't didn't. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. But I don't know. I don't know what to think about Preston Stout. I've heard so much about just how freaking good this guy is. He's world number one amateur and all that. And I'm not loving the pace of play at all. He's exceptionally slow. And yeah, just, you know, didn't just got got beat several times this week. He's either producers are going to have to do him a favor and show his shots on tape. But you got to play really good golf to be shown live anyways and not shown on tape. So he's got to be a little bit a little bit better than that to begin with. But that's a the I mean, I feel like I could hear my own pulse in my ears with a silence that was just like enough should say what they had already you're ready to say before he'd hit and then it would just be a dead ass silence like 12 seconds before he pulled the trigger. And man, that is golf fans. We've learned what that is not going to go over well. Like that's really, really, really not going to go over well with people. And you got to get that figured out before you get to the big leagues. Yeah. I like it doesn't happen all the time. But it is, you know, put your your reinstated AM stuff to the side. It is fun when the same, the same dudes get matched up over and over. I mean, Preston Stout played played Stuart Green in every session this week. They they have the first four ball match. Green beat him one up in Saturday singles. Stout and Ethan Fang won the four ball match this morning. And then Green beat him again in singles this afternoon to it's just that's kind of a fun wrinkle of these. A little bummed to see my guy Ryder Cowan have to take a seat for singles on Saturday. Yeah. A little strange. Yeah. I'm sure there's a reason I don't follow it closely enough to know what it would be. But yeah, that was a little weird. Probably to get to the CMA awards or something like that. It might have maybe wasn't his contract. He's only doing a 90 minute set. Well, what do you think guys? Should we should we wrap it there? What stands out the most, what's the most newsworthy item of those six? Chris Gotterup, social media. I said to see you guys the other day. No, I think, I mean, I was glad to see him pick Coivan. I think Bridgman, I like the Bridgman pick personally. I think Gerard and Bridgman should have been on the team personally. I don't think you need to bring Cantlay along. You know what you're getting. I don't think he's undeserving, but at the same time, like I don't think the president's cup is the most serious event in golf. Let's put some money in the bank here for a future thing. I mean, maybe Gerard turns out to be an absolute dog, right? And you know that and that's one more asset you have at your disposal. So yeah, I could have left JT or Cantlay at home, but JT feels like kind of the heart and soul of these teams. So I feel like you bring him along. You know, he'll be kind of ready to rock. And yeah, Coivan, it seems like, you know, I'm proud of sneds. I did it, man. Taking his neck out a little bit. I did it. We rocked him. Yeah, it's a fun one. It feels like it feels like there's some balance to it. You know, it's like we did actually push the envelope, not in the way that, you know, so it'd be like politics, right? T.C. You got to just push it as far as you can one direction and then hope that you just kind of land a little bit on your side of the ball. That's kind of where it we're wound up here. It's like, yeah, we're of course we listen. We can't break the system. We are going to take JT at Cantlay, but we can we can branch out. We could take Coivan. We could take a great putter like Bridgeman. You know, we're not taking Gerard and Oxe and all these other guys too, but like we We can have a little bit of fun. And it feels like, yeah, in the past, maybe this would have just looked safer and older. And I think sneds is, I don't know. I don't know if there seems like there's so much uncertainty on the rider cup side of things. I don't know if he is a point being who knows who a future captain is going to be, who a future Luke Donald type figure could be. Like I'm sure he's angling for something like that. I can't just blow up the job interview by doing something totally outrageous, but he can push it a little bit. I gotta think the Bridgeman thing, Sali, is like, we start looking at like a tiebreaker Bridgeman in Gerard. I assume it was kind of the last coin flip. I mean, that just seems like it probably comes back to matchups or parings or something, right? It just doesn't feel, it feels like Gerard's stronger on paper more of a traditional, like in years past, we want to take this guy 'cause he's kind of hot right now. Whereas Bridgeman is, yeah, it just seems like more, he was picked for traits or picked for kind of a reason. I don't know if that's your read. - Yeah, this is the kind of awkward period before we see what the plan roll out is where you gotta kind of, I don't know, do you have to do this 'cause I've tricked myself and do as you have to assume they have a plan, you have to give respect to the process and have to think they've thought through how they want to pair them and what attributes he has that match up with the golf course and things of that nature. So again, I'm gonna do that, I'm gonna say like, yeah, you probably thought about this to a level of detail that we have the public, and the access to information that we have the public don't have down to, you know, hopefully how team Europe is doing it. What your proximity is to left pins versus right pins and dog leg left holes and dog leg right holes and what holes you'd be teaming off on and for some, how you match up and four ball, what holes are you good at? How can we match you up with somebody who's got a different skill set if you're a really good par four player, may we match up with somebody who's a great par five player? - Wait, are you saying that they weren't doing this before? - Maybe not, now I'm willing to, I'm willing to entertain the share of the town though. - Stats wise. - Yeah, this year. - I'm willing to entertain the thought that they, is Jay Ray working with a presence cup team too? - I don't, he is, he is, okay. And he's doing Soulheim cup as a, as a, as a, as a. - It's his mom, so yeah, extremely. - It also, as you're, as you're saying all that and you're running through all the past US things, it also could be a like, yeah, listen, these guys just made more puts. We need to have Bridgman on the team. So I think that, that's kind of jumping off the page. But yeah, I don't, I mean, even like, I think it's gonna be the kind of course where it's gonna be fun to watch JT play it. I know they've got three rookies on the team as it is with God or a Bridgman. Coven, Coven should be a great fit for this place as well. But man, like, looking at JT's results, like hasn't had a, a top 10 since the PGA, is kind of like, hey, like, what, you know what, like, why are you, why don't you be an ass captain with us this year? You're still in the team room. Let's, let's get your art on. I feel like, I feel like your art played his way on the team. And that's, that's the one kind of sour taste in my mouth, I guess. - I don't, I don't either. I mean, what, the default thing here, 10, 3 and 2 in Presidents Cups and a solid Ryder Cup record, that's the answer. - Totally. - So as to why, right? And it is boring. Yeah, at this point, it's like, I rode really hard for him in 2023 when it was like, dude, there's not a path without that guy, right? I don't see what it is. He is your match played dog. He went head to head with Rory in France. Like, we've seen what he did. He was like the dude in France on an away Ryder Cup. And I want, I don't know how you go back to Rome without that guy. I think they would have should have not paired up with Speed, who had just had a kid and played absolutely awful in that Ryder Cup. And they were a terrible, terrible team. And that could have gone to, JG didn't play well either, but that could have gone differently. And now it's like, all right, we're looking at three, three-ish years, a little, a nice little stretch in one of those years. We're in a nice spring, one heritage, but he just hasn't been the same dude. Like, really hasn't to the point where I'm like, you could have, I did not know what they were going to do. And I wouldn't, I don't care enough about the President's Cup to truly ride one way or another. I would have been fine with flesh, fresh blood. And I think in a different year, that could have happened. Honestly, I did. Gerard played good enough to justify a pick. He didn't beat the door down to the point where it's like, how the hell are you not taking this guy? He beat the door down pretty good. I mean, he's over in Switzerland this week playing now. I just wanted to play, we finished third at the Torch Championship. He was top 10 at the open. He was lost in a playoff at the memorial. I mean, he had a hell of a year. He had a great year. He had an absolutely great year. But I mean, last four events. Missed the cut at Wyndham, T-24 in a 70 person event at St. Jude, T-16 and a 50 person third at the Torch Championship. Like, that's good golf. That's good ad final round at the Torch Championship. Yeah, it's good golf, but it is not like, like, horseshoes sprinting through the door in 2014 and not getting, you know, it being too late to get a rider cut pick. Like, it's not, it's just not that level, right? I mean, it's seven top 10s. I'm aware he played good. He's good. I would have loved him on the team. I probably on the surface would have taken him over Bridgman, but you got to make those putts, man. You just got to make those putts. And that's it. So I'll do this so you don't have to. First of all, I think there's a big difference between Katelyn and JT. I think it's going to be very easy to lump those two together. When you look at these captain's picks, Katelyn's played a lot better than JT. I think he's the security blanket for Xander. You know what you're going to get. Just probably like an extremely high floor with him. When you do start looking at this strokes gain stuff over the last six months, JT plus 1.11, Bridgman plus 1.12, Gerard plus 1.17. And they've all kind of been about the same as far as just getting the ball in the hole golf wise. So if you want to use whatever you said, 10, 3 and 1 as a JT tiebreaker, I'm like, I do get it. It's a gut call, I guess. I'm like, do you want to use that as the tie breaker? Or do you want to try to invest in new blood when you're already kind of doing that? You've got gotter up, you've got Coivan, you've got some of these other guys. I understand both sides. I see how they got there. I know I would have been fine with Gerard thing. So it's kind of a, I don't know, kind of here's the twist. Here's the twist on that, like invest in the future line. The invest in the future might be JT. Like if you had to bet between the two who is more likely to be at a dare manor on the team, like the answer's probably JT for a variety of reasons. And like him being involved in the process. Ryan, you're the hottest player in the world for a year, of course. Of course. If you had, if you had a bet right now, who's more likely to be on the team and you're making a face team, but like who's more likely to be on the team at a dare manor? No, you're right. I just, the, yeah. So that's guys, I don't think these guys fall off cliffs, man. I don't know if JT is going to be that, but it doesn't last forever. And Gerard could, too, is my point. Like it's an odd year. And you know, it's an even year now next year's an odd year. And like watch out, look how far Cameron Young fell by the end of this year. Like it just, it doesn't last forever. He's, he's playing very good golf and getting an absolute ton out of his career. And I'm definitely rooting for Gerard, but it's not, which it started really interesting. Roll it back out, roll it back out. Next year we'll see. I mean, maybe JT has a little bounce back. Like I feel better about JT about the fact that I do speed at this point. Like he sees a really good fit for this with regard to approach play, he can't pot anymore, which is kind of crazy. I'm liking the fact that they didn't just go straight down the rankings. Like Ben Griffin was eighth. JJ spawn was 10th, uh, and they skipped right over those guys. It's also weird that like Gerard is not even in the top 15 as far as the standings go. Yeah. Which doesn't seem like it, like it, is it not weighted more towards, uh, recent results or, or 2026 results. It's all just like a smoothed out FedEx cup points. Smooth. Yeah, it's horrible. Like that, yeah, I hate the points list all everywhere. Like it, it just is bad. Like you just don't, it's not identifying the best golfers. At least it's, at least it's six captains picks now. Like it would take a lot for somebody to qualify, uh, that, that is, like, it shouldn't be there, right? But it's not impossible. Like they almost had it happen with Griffin and, um, hopefully that's the wake up call they need to get this system right because it's it's don't love it Which I mean and then another thing is is Should Zander be on the team Yeah, I think so yeah And in a great year anyone that like Has been a top 12 US player over last three months six months 12 months 24 months has made a very strong case To be on the team right it's not just a trending hand just be and we can do this with players that have had better peaks You know when they're not playing their best say Should they even be like you know, it's an unsexy name when they're not playing their best But they're still like a much better player than a lot of other guys But yeah zander's been he's like the 10th best American over the last three months He's the sixth best American over the last six months. He's the second best American over the last year Yeah, I can't wait it's gonna be on the team then You have I think that one's that one's an index fund man You just kind of yeah all that one out there and get your get your seven percent The heritage set up a special part of the team room for the So yeah, they kind of need a team room. It could mean that like they're picking the wrong veterans time after time They're right, but rookies in better position to succeed. the US and on the PJ tour and it just it was a little bit a decent idea for the 90s but a little doomed from the start and it's it's it's beyond time to reimagine of course we know that but it's just funny man to to lay these two in relief but going back to the Walker Cup it's like oh man in the 20s all these Americans have to take a steamship over to try to qualify for the open and they've got days before the tournament starts and what if we played a match against each other in the fellowship of the game versus just like well fuck we got a beat I have G to the corner man we got it we got to It said, hello, Colton, we're writing with an update on your application for reinstatement of your amateur status, the USGA has recently decided to reevaluate its reinstatement guidelines for applicants who like you have a successful history competing as a professional questions regarding how the guidelines should apply in these circumstances have contributed to earlier delays and reaching a decision on your application and your application has now formally been placed on hold while staff works with the USGA amateur status committee and executive committee to complete its work goes on from there. But changing in the process is finally going to appear to happen, which will be the delight of many, including those of us here as well. Hell yeah. I think I hope we're going back retroactively and pulling some status for people. Oh, for sure. Maybe you have to, right? Yeah. You know, I think this one got away from from the USGA kind of a little bit at a time and then sort of all at once as as people realize they could they could get back and play some of these events, but yeah, it's it's a boring answer. But it's like, man, I don't don't fault any of the people doing it. We've said this with humor a bunch of times. Right? Or it's like, yeah, man, if you're not going to close it, I understand why they're why they're doing it. But yeah, for a rule that I think as I understand was kind of put in there to help almost more like PGA professional type of people. Yeah, I'm sure it's messy to unwind it and figure out where the line is. But I think that's kind of what the job is of the USGA. So excited to see them hopefully taking some steps here. What should the line be though? Like that's where it's it's difficult to draw it. I know. But it is, I mean, like Mike Sposa won the US Senior Am this week. I think he made something in the 300s in career starts on PGA related tours. Uh, Spusa. There's a few just like awful examples out there. But like I found this. I saved this. Just got Johnny V golf on Instagram came on my, uh, my algorithm. He, he kind of said like, ever reach top 500 in the world, you're out. Like you, you cannot become an amateur again. I think that's a pretty decent guideline. If you played professionally in a PGA tour sanctioned or affiliated event, uh, as a professional and made the cut. If you made a cut in a PGA tour event, like you should not get your get your PGA tour sanctioned. So like PGA tour Americas would be to be included there. Yeah. Yeah. Which is like aggressive. But it's like, well, if you, I think amateur golfers for people that did not dedicate their profession to the game and skill of golf. Like you did, you, you were doing something else and playing golf. Haggistad would be a different conversation. But like if you, if you spent any amount of, I mean, I get it. Like if you spent two weeks being a professional and fail, that's a different. But if you spent, if you're your Stuart Greyhand who spent seven years trying to make it, like you was seven years dedicated to his craft that is not afforded to true amateur golfers. They were trying to say like this guy's a financial planner now. And I don't know how he finds the time to practice and it's like, come on. Well, because he practiced it for seven years. Like there's deterioration of your skills. For sure, Greg Chalmers is weighing in on this this week of like, yeah, you, you, you're not going to be as sharp as you were when you were pro, but you also have a incredibly massive advantage to compare to true not as good as I was. Yeah. That's right. And good ones. The point where people just look at it too and it's like, ah, former pro want it. And it just is like truly ruining some of these events. I think it's like, what do you think about if you said, all right, you know what, if you stop being a pro, by the time you're 30, you can reset for the senior AM stuff. Otherwise, you are out of mid-AM and you're out of Amateur stuff. I could, I could see that. Maybe if, like, if you want a major in your 20s, maybe not, but, you know, like it, I see where you're at of like, yeah, a true, like, wearing off the area. Come on back, bud. Come through. Like should Colt knows be able to be a senior AM, you think? Probably not. Yeah. I had it. Yeah. It's hard, man. You start like getting in specifics and it's like, well, that's, that's kind of the job of the USGA, not me who's been sitting here thinking about it for 30 seconds. But it's, I do think conceptual as talking to Randy and Neil about this a lot while we're filming this week. And Randy has a very good point on this that it's like, man, there, there does need to be some gravity to the I'm turning pro decision. You know, and like, this is one of those consequences. Like you, you don't get to kind of have it both ways. Like, if you want to pursue a career in this, that's awesome. Pro golf is a, it unbelievably, like, cool thing to chase and a fulfilling thing to chase. If you can, if you can do it. But this is a break in the road. Yeah. This is kind of, there needs to be something that's like, this is what you're given up. And where the, you know, cow gets out of the barn on a lot of this other stuff is like NIL things and what's the difference between a college player who's making 600 grand and endorsements, quote unquote, playing amateur golf like it, it does become a huge cluster fuck when you start drilling into the details. But it's again, that's, I'm like, man, that's kind of the point of, of having a governing body is to, to make those decisions and draw those lines and figure out what's, what's what. So yeah, someone just kind of figured out. It does. But I'd say like to that, like you, if you're a college player, earning hundreds of thousand dollars playing college golf, like, you do graduate from that. And you have a decision to make, like, do I want to continue to use my golf skill to make money? And then I got to have to turn professionally. Like, I don't think, I think you're going to make enough money doing like the medium cocktail tour from sponsorships, like the NIL stuff runs out. And, you know, if you can, good for you. That's, that's a way to do it. If you really want to, but it seems like if you go from college to pursuing playing amateur events and taking up sponsorship dollars to do that and can make enough money to do it, I'm like, all right, hats off to you. Like, that's different than like, beating and playing weekends on the PJ, with the best professional golfers in the world. That's a big-ass difference to me. Like, the way Stu has done it is technically allowed. Like, I know, you know, maybe not only allowed. People have been doing it for a very, very, very long time, right? Like, like, not many people, but a few people have been doing that for a while. So, that's, that's what I think. But, I'm also, yeah, I can't break part anymore. So this doesn't really apply to me anymore. So, Harbortown, Harbortown gets the championship status event from RBC, has some questions being asked, of course, about Canada. Do you see any thoughts on this? Yeah, I think it's, I think Canada would be best served being a fall event, where they could, they could be a true national open. They could have, but like, I think if Canada was a championship series event, they're going to have to play it during the summer when it's soft, and it's not. And I think the best conditions up there in September. So I think if you added this into like a, shit, make it a freaking DP world tour event, or a, you know, part of that kind of national open series, where you get Irish open, and you do Canadian open, and maybe if they're Spanish open, or gosh, do like Argentina open in there, you know, just to have it be like, the national open sweepstakes, you play it in September. And yeah, I don't know, it just feels like a more natural fit than, than saying, hey, you know what? No can, like only two Canadian players are going to be able to play in this because there's really two Canadian guys in the championship series, right? Yeah, totally agree. Yep. I think that's very obvious. I'm glad, you know, I think Harbertown, Harbertown gets championship status. I assume they'll keep it after the Masters. I don't know if that's necessarily the best place for it, especially if there's other stuff going on in and around. The southeast as well, but I imagine that'll just kind of continue forward on that current slot. I would think so as well. You like this one? Brian O'Toole is pregnant, LPJ tour player is pregnant, but also leading the A on risk reward challenge standings. It is shut to get down for the rest of the season because she's already got enough qualifying rounds to come to the $1 million prize, winning the A on risk reward challenge for the year. So she will be winning that one. She's all just, she played enough qualifying rounds. She's good and we'll get the prize. Don't hit the player here. Don't hit the player hit the game. Yeah, unless somebody goes absolutely nuts and, you know, joins joins the brotherhood of the sisterhood and makes an ace on what if they do a giant funnel pins to make sure she does it win? I always get such a kid. I feel this happens every few years, And I think the million dollars is a much bigger deal in the women's game than it is in the men's game from an incentive perspective. But yeah, it's just a funny. Like Beth Ann had this this on golf week. And Ryan said, the A-on puts a halt in my future play. Having enough qualifying rounds and sitting at the top, I feel I should just now just sit on the lead and hope no one catches it as much as I want to compete and continue playing. I'm only getting more pregnant. You know, and like one of the events is in Hawaii, the other one, there's a few in Asia. So obviously she's not going to hop on a plane and travel all the way over for that. But I just, I love perverse incentives. It's so funny. Speaking of perverse incentives, we have been heavily incentivized to buy a bunch of bots and we, and you know, Lang, I just want to thank you everyone for reaching out for congratulating us for passing 5 million followers on the next. Seriously, man, congrats. Thank you. It's a lot of work for me. Yeah, a lot of work. Yeah, especially a lot of work has gone in recently. When, you know, we just passed 500,000 back. I want to know who did this because for anyone of the things that we would ever do that, like it is is completely ruined. What was like a very natural organic following? And we had a very real number of like almost half a million people. And now it's like, what do we put there now? Like how do you estimate how many real actual followers we have? It's not a good thing. And so we've, but yeah, I think everyone is still not getting the joke on that one and thinks that we've that we've fake this. But some right, right people out there. That's exactly right. It seems like everything's going really good over there. Really well done. TC, you took a little Ireland golf trip. It did in recent months. Yeah. Take a say. Yeah, it was some buddies that spot opened up on a trip. Some buddies here from Panavidra were taken first golf trip. I've been on in like eight or nine years that I haven't planned myself. It was really, really nice. And it was pretty much the same, very similar, I tend to write what we did when we went in 2019 to Ireland. So we did, we didn't do corn and his chrome sligo, but we did, or a dare, but we did, we did truly, I got, Traley Johnson. We did Traley, we did Dunebag, we did Bally Bunyan, Duke's, Waterville, you know, that whole kind of tourist track based ourselves down in Kalarni, said the great Southern, which I think we stayed at last time. I had no recollection of it, great hotel, wonderful hotel. But the surprise, we were supposed to do a hinge. We ended up scratching that. Some of the guys didn't want to play off mats in advance of the walk. We were there like two or three weeks before the walk cup. So we did not do old head. Again, I apologize again, everyone out there. We did not do old head again. Like you see the hogs head, helicopter, you know, kind of depositing people in various places all over. We had a mix of handicaps. People of Helleski had added old head. You know, about four handicaps, about a 16 handicaps. So pretty wide dispersion. Biggest surprise of the trip. We were supposed to play there last time that freaking hurricane rolled in. Count Shabell, Dingo Golf winks. I loved it. It was awesome. It doesn't look like much when you're driving up. It's kind of sits in this saddle between these peaks. And it was everything I love about Link's Golf and the quirky routing and inventive fun holes. Find Fescue that was like burned out and fast and bouncy like brilliant playing surfaces. Like best condition course we played on the entire trip. And probably the least expensive course we put on the trip by an order of two or three. So just really well run, really cool landscape. Like there's these kind of three like jagged peaks nearby. They call it three sisters. And just the way that the fog rolls in there. And like it almost felt like being up at Lufoten in spots. Just like really much more raw and rugged. Greater than the sum of its parts. And yeah, like I would play it probably eight two over dukes. Like I feel like people will compare those two. Like it was awesome. I think there's something to that where I think that the knock if there is one on Irish golf compared to Scottish golf is like the next like there's amazing top level golf at both places. But like the next tier Scotland blows Ireland out of the water. So like the more the more places you can add to that list of like B side, you know, courses that very easily clear the bar and lead to a great day of golf. I think you're absolutely worth highlighting and shouting out. So that's yeah. Yeah. And just like just great restaurant up top. Just yeah, just like good people down there. And yeah, it felt it felt very, yeah, very much like authentic and like why I traveled for golf. So T.C. What was the was there a turn to dune bag like because I I didn't walk away like loving that place. I think everybody kind of got the shake kicked out of them. The routing was weird. But then I had a buddy go a couple of couple weeks ago, a couple months ago. Like kind of right before you were there. There's a guy. I don't know what you're talking about. Like it's awesome. And it seems like they've made a lot of changes. Yeah. I felt similarly going in. I was like, we're going back to dune bag. It was like last round of the trip for me, all that. It was awesome. I loved it. It was it was in great shape. They've they rerouted like the first hole in the 18th hole of kind of switched. It's it's it's it's a little bit more coherent on that front. 18's not quite as it's probably a stronger golf hole, not quite as scenic. They've like moved it away from the coast. I don't know. It's just like I know martin hot tree. I think it's done a bunch of work there. It felt like before it felt like all the greens were very disconnected from the dunes. And now it felt in honestly, the conditioning was super shitty when we went in 2019. Conditioning was awesome. The routing, it's really, really fun in that like you get, you know, short par four, then par three, then par five, then back to a short three, then another short four. Like it's just really fun golf. Somebody had poisoned the 10th green a few weeks prior. So that was on a that was on a 10th green. They're getting ready for the for the Irish open this week. So yeah, that was that was tough. That that green was yellow. I'll be curious to see what that looks like. Here, moving forward, but yeah, I was I was very pleasantly surprised. Just yeah, it was in yeah, just a nice nice experience. So, you know, strip away the politics and how are you feel about DT and all that. It's a it's a it's a really cool piece of land and you're kind of playing along this bay and you get really, really far away from from the hotel. People there, nice. It supports, you know, the the the local economy there. So really enjoyed that. Um, truly, yeah, Bryce is not playing the Irish open. Is he not that I just he's not on the entry list. And that was an extremely strong rumor when we were at the PGA championship to the point where they were planning out DT's pro and plans and things like that to play with Bryson. And I just just like I hadn't heard any buzz about it. I just looked on the entry list and I don't see him there. So, yeah. And yeah, well, it was funny too. Like, I think so many people were like, oh, you guys just didn't like the course because you don't like Donald Trump. I was like, no, I just didn't like the golf course. Hopefully that kind of like love turnberry. Listen, they're not going to find many turnberry critics here. Maybe we're able to separate the two out. Yeah, the enemy bangs harder that, you know, bangs harder than the first time around truly truly was awesome. Man, they've done they've done good work there since we were there had an epic caddy there. He's the man. It was just like such a we had a really sunny day out there. It was the stuff they've done on the front nine there was awesome. And then the back nine is just ribs just bang or after bang or after banger. It's such a fun golf course. The, you know, just well run the restaurant up stairs. Awesome. Just a good golf club. Like everything that everything you would want out of a local club and they blend the the the mix of being a local club and being a tourist factory together as well as I've ever seen. So was anything it didn't didn't live up to kind of first time around? Man, dude, Bally Bunyan was like, I mean, the golf, it's like one of my favorite golf courses in the world. Like from a routing perspective, we played it on like a perfect day, like not much wind. And like having been to sand hills and and you know, abandoned a few more times now. Like Bally Bunyan makes more sense than ever to me. And like it's just the kind of one of the OGs there along with like Dornick as far as like, oh no, like I see exactly what Mike Kaiser was trying to do here. But man, the the and I had great caddy out there. The it was so lush and overwatered and like to the point of like it being a detriment. And you can tell like that they're like, that's what they're about. It's like, we want to be the greenest show on turf. Like we we want to be mowing lines, you know, the diamond mowing lines and Chris cut, you know, kind of the cross cut stuff and different layers here and there. Like this is an aesthetic exercise, not a not a playing surface exercise. And I know that that I heard that the superintendent there works remotely a few days, like a few days a week which blew my mind and just generally speaking, talking to people there and talking to people all around Southwest of Ireland. Yeah, it sounds like Valley Bunyan might have some issues and decisions to be made in the coming years. Like what do you want to be? Do you want to be just an absolute factory or like in like I think when this guy started he had 12 or 15 guys on the on the staff. He's got 70 now. And like there's just there's ropes everywhere too. Like you can walk here. You can't walk here. You can not get it. They get a ton of play and we didn't play the revamped caching course. But yeah, it just didn't like it looks really good and then you get in there and it's just soft and slow. And it's like it was the driest summer there in the last five or six years. And you know, you're going and it's like man, this place like how is this place so wet and lush and soaked, you know. So that was that was a bummer. Yeah, I just kind of putting that kind of rock in my world a little bit. I know. Yeah, and like it's like a top 25 30 golf course in the world, right? Like it's about the golf. It's about the clubhouse. It was just kind of ratty and just it just feels like a factory in the wrong in the wrong ways. And then I think waterville was just like as I remembered it. Like it didn't really I wanted the like waterville the first time more than I did. And then you know, it was just kind of like the second time around was kind of more of the same was like it I can see why the the US players both passed in I think some current guys still go over there to like play for you know, play the play three four or five days before the opening and get ready there. You know, very scenic, but like very much like an objective binary golf course, right? Like the fuzz has done plenty of work there. It's, you know, hey, you like you have to cover this bunker at 320 off the back tease. And it's it's very much that sort of test of like it's a one or zero this shot or that shot. The back nine much better than the front nine. But I feel like man, like to a man on our trip, everybody was like, give me truly over waterville. Yeah. So much more fun. And like, is it as good of a golf course? Objectively, probably not, but like it just feels so much more link seat. It feels so much more memorable. Yeah, with the highs or higher. Yeah. Even that finish at at a waterville of just, you know, you get the the whole that Lee, you know, Liam's dappin' everybody up in the pro shop. And those ladies there at the end. Yeah, they're not the turns. Yeah, they're a little restaurant down there. Yeah. And then the ladies in the pro shop. Awesome. Like they handle their stuff. That's the best pro shop in Southwest Ireland by far. Great logo. Obviously. Yeah. Awesome logo. Like really first class operation there. But yeah, even the, I don't know, even like the mass homes, like man, like there's like a better approximation of this whole atroly. Yeah, that fake putty. Yeah, like the party doctor saw and he was like, well, he was like, wait, we're playing over there to that hole. That's crazy. So what about the off the course stuff? I mean, I feel like that's almost like a bigger part of some of the Ireland, Ireland golf experience. Yeah, we had great, I mean, we went to Reedies a few nights. Reedies was great. The site of Neil's famous dance party at Taurus Hot Season. What was that? Four. Yeah. There was, there was a dude playing like, playing the saxophone live. Like he was playing to like, they had a DJ and like, he was playing the saxophone to like these club beats. Oh, yeah. It was awesome. And then a bunch of bachelor parties there. Very, very NLU friendly crowd. Like, I was like, holy shit. And yeah, just, yeah, great time there. The food, food's wonderful in Colourney. It, I mean, it feels like going to Epcot, right? It's like, it's like Disney World for Ireland. It's like Irish Disney World, basically. It's, you know, it's not quite the most, I would say like authentic experience, but it's a fucking blast. So, um, but yeah, good, you know, really, really good, good trip and, uh, glad I went back, but I don't, I don't think, like, I don't think I need to reprise that trip. I just, like, like, like, I kind of turned my brain off. I was like, you know what? I'm just going to go and enjoy this trip with the guys and, and I did. And like, I kind of just went with the flow and everything. But like, I think my happiness comes from playing New Golf courses and having new experiences, like, going to places that are unexpected. And like, I think that's why calendar bell struck me so much too was. Yeah. But then again, like, Trilly was, you know, it was like even better this second time around. I don't think so. So, so hard to prioritize that, that balance. We've talked about that a bunch with, you know, you can only get out for so many trips a year is like, do you go try to turn over more puzzle pieces or you go try to get some more depth on some world class placements? Exactly. Good, good problem to have, I suppose. Yeah. So, all right, let's move towards wrapping. I know you got ahead to the airport here soon, T.C. But wanted to give a few, a few delights for the rest of your things. We're each going to give three things we're looking forward to are curious to see kind of in the rest of rest of the year can be professional golf or non professional golf. I'll kick us off quickly here and just say what we're literally about to go get on the flight to go do. We're spending a few days around Holland around Amsterdam filming I've not really experienced a lot of golf in the Netherlands to be honest. I played a few courses there but wasn't playing a lot of golf when I lived there. So, getting to do that, getting to document that, getting visits mold haunts as well. And the Soulheim Cup on the back end of that, this is this is probably the highlight trip of the year for me. And I cannot wait to see Bernartis. It looks really cool. We're going to be biking to the course from the hotel and it's an awesome competition. And I think the environment is going to be great. And this has just been circled on the count still how to shit here in Florida and get the pack a lot of stuff that some long sleeve layers and things like that. I'm so stoked. I will go. We've I think shouted this out a couple times, but I'll do it again on the on the heels of our Ross steelman interview. I'm just I'm stoked about some of the the the class of corn fairy tour dudes. I think there's a crop of young American dudes. There's a cabal of dudes that's that's common. Ross Ross leading the way right there. If you haven't listened to our interview with him, it was a delight. A lot, lots of great response from people on that one. But it's not just him. I mean, Doc Redmond, Ian Holt, Cole Sherwood, Alistair Dockerty. I know he's been knocking on the door for a couple of years. Tommy Morrison, I'm just fascinated like you don't see a lot of golfers that that look like him. I mean, just in all of the size of that lad. Fedora five member. Yeah, it's just I think there's a lot of a lot of guys that you know, there's a good a good crop that could be doing stuff on the PJ tour next year. And I'm pretty fascinated to watch that over the next couple months and into next season. T.C. Ozzy open at Kingston Heath. Sure. Sign me up. It's gonna be awesome. Sally, I know you hate Kingston Heath. But I'm really excited for it. Not true. Stop. Please make it stop. Yeah, that was an easy one. I'll give a shout. The one fall event on the PJ tour that that rocks every year is the bank of Utah 100 black desert. I just I love watching that one. Feels low stakes, but it just feels like crazy moon golf. And I just that's a fun Thursday to Sunday watch all the way through. So a lot of the fall golf is like I'll tune in Sunday and see what happens versus that one's one I'll have on my TV. But each you know, listen, this is kind of self-serving here, but I'm going to I'm going to shout out NLU video, man. We've We've got like one, like at least 10 right now, maybe 11, like certified bangers just in the hopper. And then we're coming out over the next three to six months. It's just there's a lot of good, good stuff. We've got a full season, a tourist office that's coming. We shot a strap this week. Like I mentioned, we've got three, four hitting cups videos that we're doing with Hubert. If you liked those, we've got a bunch more of those coming. We've got a city tour of Chicago that's coming. Even DP World Tour Q school is going to be a sweepstakes as well. It's going to be a fascinating look at the reentry process, coming out of orbit, coming back into the real golf ecosystem. I love that. That alone competitive rep in the remainder of the year, Neil and I are going to play a foursome's event again. We played it two years in row, we did all shot back, 21, 22, I think for the two years, we did it. We're dusting that off. I got a, I think I have to figure out his golf ball again, which is a little bit of an adventure, but I look forward to that challenge. And we're going to, we're going to do one of those down here in Jacks. So that's, that's not until December, but that's, that's what's got me geared up for golf this fall. I love it. I will, my final, final pick here. I'll shout out the Asheville event that's coming up in a couple of weeks here. The, I think people, certainly not people there, but like, I think the flooding and the kind of disaster that went through there a couple of years ago, almost, I don't see people slept on it, but like I was talking to somebody from Asheville the other day, who was just like really running me through how devastated that whole area got. And it's just, it's almost hard to remember, right? Like how, how bad that was and, and the PJ tour going back there, it's just, it's an interesting fall event. You want them to do interesting things in the fall. It's an area that we don't usually see in, in the golf world, at least on a really big stage. I know it's, it's not a, some big signature event or something, but even just to have the, the PJ tour go there and support that area. I think it's just kind of a generally, all thumbs up, you know, I'll be really interested to watch it. And I'm pumped that that is taking place. So I'm excited for that. Maybe some foliage too. Yeah. Yeah. I think the weather would be nice. It's just, it's such a cool area of the country and it's, it's an area that, yeah, pro golf, like we don't ever really get to see anything from there. So I, I like it. It's what the fall should be about. Well, my last one, a lot of different directions we could go here. You know, we were, I was thinking about the mid-AM, at the Lido, or, you know, the Piner's 11 opening up, but I'm going to go with the race to Dubai. So I know, you know, I know you, I know you hate the DP World Tour appointment. Don't you have a flight to catch, but P is currently 350-ish points ahead of Rory at the moment, who is 270 points ahead of Chicara. And P versus Rory coming down the stretch on the DP World Tour could be, it might get Rory to care about the race exactly exactly, and I did notice there, there, there's a Rory McElroy award on the, like on the European tour in space, like the guy who had the lowest score in the majors that year. I think he had to play, play it on the majors, but Rory is not eligible to win the award because it's named after him. So it's, it's everybody excluding Rory. That's it. That's very funny.
