Like it was whale fall. Like literally every girl was humongous. They are literally on TikTok saying it Victoria's Secret needs to be aspirational, unattainable, glamorous, fierce. Where are the skinny girls? Where are the supermodels? I mean, no, I love a skinny girl, but they were all skinny. Like 90% of the models who walk are all still Eurocentric, skinny, long legs. I mean, insanely skinny. I mean, Ashley Graham is the only one I'm thinking of that's like maybe curvy, but also like not fat. Yeah, they throw a bone to like a few of them. There's Precious Lee who's like younger and she's a little curvier. And you know, there's some athletes and stuff who have just like more muscle or something. And she said she had to leave because she was obviously being very unhealthy to keep that body and felt so much pressure to maintain that physique. But then she also felt bad. Because women were coming up to her and like wanting to, you know, get a body like hers. And she was going very unhealthy ways of like ED and drug use to be skinny. And she felt like she was lying to everybody. So it's actually like, great that there's just a little bit of diversity. It's not like the woke Olympics were like, you know, it's just ugly down the catwalk. She's a hateful person. For anyone. She didn't attack them all. You know, fierce, and I think she's like, so gorge and like, I would say like, she is a more relatable body size, like out to me, Ashley Graham is something that's unattainable or something like that. But I love her so much. And I've seen her all over gay Twitter or just Twitter in general. Even me not even being a consumer or customer of the brand was like, fiercest fears. Like, hold on, let me see these girls on that catwalk. Oh, the glitter, the sparkle, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, like everyone just performances. So good. And I feel like since it came back after their few years of cancellation, I feel like at first, they were trying to be super woke, where it was like, we were missing some of the glamour, some of the campiness. Right? Like we had no fantasy bra for the past few years. And this year, the fantasy bra finally returned. Thank God staple. And gag it Kylie Jenner was the surprise fantasy bra wearer. Again, some people were mad about this, because it's like, why is an influencer wearing the bra instead of like an OG angel? I struggle to call Kylie Jenner influencer. I was like, influencer. Like, why are influencers wearing the bra? I was like, wait, they didn't want influence. Kylie is definitely not an influence. Maybe just influence on the world. Joel. Yeah, she's like, I mean, kind of, I would say one of the most A-list celebrities that are out there as far as like, getting the interview getting obviously, she's not like an actress or singer, but like, she's pretty top tier. I mean, above Kim, I would even say, I think so, because she's more mysterious. And then she's also dating Timothy Chalamet, who is such a respected actor. So then but also, they're very private about the relationship. And he's front row. Yes. And I understand that, obviously, we talked about before the Kardashian, you know, being tired of them, or whatever. But their impact, whether you like them or hate them, is undoubtable, because they drive so much traffic. Like, yeah, from the media side standpoint, like when you cover a Kardashian, you get so much traffic, because it's either people commenting, I'm so sick of them. Why are they always are you paid to talk about the Kardashians? No, baby, you're commenting on it. Therefore is giving us engagement. Like, you are driving the engagement. You are why we have to cover them so much. You're talking about them, you know, they gag everyone because Kylie is 10,000 times more beautiful than I mean, she is the most beautiful one out there. Like, obviously, when she came out, everyone was gagged for a reason. Everyone was like, the body, the face, the hair, like the boobs, obviously, is a big part of Victoria's Secret. was like and they got cute gift bags i was actually i had a lot of fomo i had to like kind of turn it off for a moment i was like i need to just not be jealous in this moment but congrats to everyone who got cute gift bags i'm really really jealous but i'll continue to buy except it was sold out and so therefore i can't buy but i love it victoria's secret has my heart forever and we love a good event we love like a show a super bowl as the girls say yeah it is girls and gays super bowl for sure we were seated the other show that caused a lot of drama was dancing with the stars man always always in the drama what a kerfuffle over there over the past week wow i've been i've been glued to this drama for sure i'm all i'm in once i think the stars that's my super i'm like locked in i'm locked into the drama and no i love drama as someone also bitter that's never been on the show i'm very much just like love the drama you should have had me i would i would have been problematic i would have been respectful i would have been just whatever yeah i i'm locked to me it's like i don't even really watch the full show but i cover it now for work and know of everything that's going on because of that and it's very much giving like uh oh do you live here no but i am part of this community that's how i feel with dancing with the stars because like i am very much in the weeds now also quick side note fib uh fibula i do love i really came out you girls really clocked it fibula is my winner if he doesn't win we're rioting he is cutie not actually dancing with the stars bans me forever they're like you said rioting in this political climate you really gotta be clear just kidding we are just gonna be upset if he doesn't win no he's such a cutie he gives his all he's so sweet i love everything about him i was very skeptical at first was not familiar with his name but dang what a cutie no he deserves to be there i get it i get the hype now i do and he's doing great he's improving every week he's doing good yeah not getting scored fairly for whatever reason i know i don't know what the hell's going on the influencer hate but damn but it all happened last week when Carrie Ann and Naba clocked Jenna and Harry Shum Jr. for having a lift in their performance. She hates the lift. I never understood. I guess it's against the rules, but damn, she hates the lift every year. She's like, lift! It's like, can we just have it? Like, I don't know. No one really cares except for you, but I get it. Okay, it's the rules. Yes, because in the samba, part of the rules of the samba in particular are no lifts, so it was kind of an awkward moment with Carrie Ann and Jenna when Carrie Ann clocked it, and then she read the definition of a lift from her paper, and even watching that moment back, it was like, this is kind of uncomfortable because Jenna's kind of shook up by it. It turns out Carrie Ann also clocked Jenna for a lift a couple seasons past, but it also turns out with Robert Irwin, Carrie Ann and Naba said, I don't even care that you did an illegal lift. I'm giving you a 10, so the inconsistencies really were crazy. Oh, I didn't know any of that. Yeah, so I think her inconsistencies is what really made people upset. Oh, okay. Oh! Yeah. Oh, I would actually be pissed, too. Okay, because I thought, like, okay, it's just the rules. Like, why is everyone being, like, so hard or whatever? Yeah, because Jenna's like, lift, and then she's like, lift, according to the, and then Derek didn't make it any easier because then he followed. He's like, ooh, I felt like I got scolded, and I was like, okay. You could have just eased the awkwardness and been like, okay. Okay, so she has it out for Jenna with the lifts. I think Carrie Ann is just, she has the reputation. Again, I'm just, I don't really go here. I'm just part of the community. She has a reputation of very much flip-flopping on her rationales for the scores because, like, Connor Wood was getting scored really low, but then he was at least on par with the other boys, like the guy from The Bachelor or The Banana, and they were scoring so much higher. So, like, the scores are just very much, like, all over the place when it comes to Carrie Ann. And then after the whole lift thing and then Fall never arrives all at once. First the air, then the light. And slowly the things you love begin to find each other. A jacket meets a dress. A hoodie slips beneath a blazer. An old cap finds a new scarf. Because you don't simply step into the season. You create it layer by layer until it finally feels like fall. Find fall your way at Ross. Same when she literally said, Oh, I don't care about if you did a lift rubber or when like you're getting a 10. So the inconsistency. The audience was already like coming for her though. So I feel like the audience was already giving her the heat. But where things took a turn is when Val Shmiervkovsky weighed in on the drama as well. Because he is married to Jenna, who is the pro in question. And he commented on a TikTok that was calling out the drama between Carrie Ann and Jenna. And said, put some respect on her name. She's tripping talking to her like that. And then he updated his TikTok status to, You almost saw Fresh Prince enter the ballroom last night. Which alluded to the Will Smith Oscar slap moment. So now it's getting a little too nuts. Because now you're wanting to slap Carrie Ann Inova? That's a little crazy. I felt like I saw it. And I was like, I just saw the keep your name out of it. Keep my wife's name out of your mouth. That's what I thought. I didn't think like, he's like, I'm about to slap this bitch. Like, I think it was very much like defending your wife. And be like, keep my wife's name out of your mouth. Like, I feel like that's how I took it. But what do you always say about men getting involved in the wife's business? A la Hilary Duff's husband. I mean, hate that. Especially Val. I don't like Val at all. But like, if I was. No, you're right, period. Me being Carrie. I'm the Carrie Ann Inova of this show. Just flip-flopping all the time. No, yeah. It's definitely, ew. You're right. You're right. Because who else was that? There was another person and they were defending their wife in a competition. And it like, made it worse. I don't know if it was Whitney. I don't know what it was. But someone was defending their wife. And I'm just like, can you just not? Because it makes it worse, 100%. I didn't think about that at first. I thought Fresh Prince. Truly, I swear to you, my initial reaction was like, Alfonso Ribeiro on the show. So I thought like, I don't watch Fresh Prince. I watched it a little bit, but I don't know the lore. So I was like, maybe there's like a reference in there that I'm not getting. That was my initial thought. Because he didn't say Will Smith. He didn't say Will Smith at the Oscars and you're Chris Rock. You're Chris Rock. I'm Will Smith. Like, you know, I don't know. I wasn't, that wasn't my initial thought. However, I do not like Val. And he is, him and his brother Max. I mean, Max was the worst on the show. He also had a mouth on him. They are just too rowdy. They're saying too much. But I didn't, I don't know if he should have been banned for performance week for it. Yeah, so it did go multiple ways. So the fans were very split on it. Some of them were like, oh, obviously. Saying, keep my wife's name out of your mouth. Other people were like, no, it's clearly a threat of like violence or something with the slap. So it really was split both ways reaction wise. Okay, and your initial reaction was like, okay, you don't have to go through this. I guess I get it. I guess overall, oh, it was Hilary Duff's man. That's who it was. Yes, Matthew. Overall, yeah, the men trying to defend your wife. It's like, it's not about you. Stay out of it. And men are always a little aggressive, aren't they? They're always a little like, especially when it's between two women. It's like, just, it's fine. Jenna obviously was like, and Jenna. Jenna has a really good chance of winning. And so do you, Val. Like, I don't know what the hell you're doing in this conversation. Like, just, I don't ever say this to people. Like, when they're at the top, it's just like, just keep the mouth shut. Like, that's what I'm learning in life. It's like, goddamn, I'm finally doing well in life and I'm doing successful. I'm like, let me just keep my mouth shut in so many situations when you want to clap back. It's like, is it really worth it? The internet was kind of on your guys' side. They kind of were like, even Derek. You don't have to convince anybody. That part. It's like, sometimes we're our own worst enemies with our mouth. We just be saying stuff and it's like, damn, now you're banned on dedication week, Val. And it's like, what the hell? This is the week that everyone's very sentimental and like, she really needed you. And now it's like, you're, because he's with Jenna, right? Yes, he is with Jenna Dewan. Which is like, a very great competitor. And like, this was, this was the, who's going in for her? So, the pro that will be filling in for Val is Alan Burstyn. Oh, he's married to Emma? I think so. And then Val did have to apologize. And then over the weekend, BBC Studios issued a statement that Val will be suspended for one week. And then, again, that had a whole argument of like, people thinking it was blown out of proportion. Some people thinking one week is not enough. Damn. Divided. The Dancing with the Stars community is divided boots. I guess I am, too. I guess, like, yeah, you shouldn't threaten. I also feel like Carrie Ann, OK, you're also inconsistent, so just own up to that. Like, also take a little bit back because it's like, you're also inconsistent. What do you expect? Like, you can't just be like, I love the boys. You guys can lift. And then, like, the girls, you're like, and the way she said it, too, was like, was sassy and, like, not that nice to her. So, it's like, I would be pissed, too. And it would be whatever. I mean, also, the real victim of all this is Jenna. Damn. It's like, she really was just like, I don't know. Because I think people were expecting her voice to sound different without, quote, unquote, veneers. Or caps. And she did post an Instagram story yesterday. And said that her voice sounds different because she was a vaper. I mean, I believe that. Right? Like, I feel like it ruins your cords. Yeah. It does ruin your vocal cords. She said, I've gotten this question a few times. The voice thing. Sometimes things happen. I get weird. My throat kind of swells inside sometimes. That's all. And she talked about how she had trouble quitting vaping. And I did remember in her wedding photos. There's one photo of her and Taylor Swift. And then she was holding a vape in her wedding dress. Very Tana Mongeau core as well. Oh, okay. Yeah. Just a little too addicted to it. So, she was a vaper like that. The voice does sound crazy, huh? Like, when you hear her when she was younger. I mean, even Tana will tell you she's, like, a vaper. And she's like, do not vape. Because it's just, like, I mean, the coughing. And, I mean, obviously what it's doing to your lungs if you're coughing like that. Like, it's so crazy. And, again, I do a lot of vices as well. But it's, like, the vapes. I mean, it's just, like, not cute. Not attractive. Like, I can't imagine. What are they vaping? They're vaping weed or nicotine or both. It's nicotine, yeah. There's different flavors and stuff. but i have someone i have a friend that does it with weed yeah you can do that as well and then there's also like nicotine free vapes to help you wean off of it darian had a vape thing too for a long time he had to go nick free vape for a couple months and then vape free it's such an i almost think it's kind of worse than cigarettes because it's like chemically like i would imagine because it's still nicotine or tobacco whatever the it is in there but then it's also like chemically going through this like vape thing and all the flavors smell a little crazy some of them smell kind of good when you're like walking through it i guess but it's a little fruitiness it smells like really cheap like fragrance spray like that you would find at like a drugstore you're right and it's like very highly concentrated of like some crazy and you're inhaling that and like again tana's the first to tell you like she really does try to quit it she's like i've quit everything she's been sober and she's like i cannot do it so it's like really addictive as well like it just seems there's a lot of liquids going into your lungs too and it makes me really sad the gas is it something that addictive too and it's like you can't stop it and it's like they try the patches they try all this stuff and they can't like get rid of it i mean it's like they need to come out with like a glp one but for people who are addicted to you know i was addicted to food and the glp one like made me stop it's like they need that she tried to hypnotism i mean she tried like everything and it like does not work and it's like i know we sound very unk and mom and dad right now but it's the truth gen like gen z's love a little vape they love a little a cigarette jake right you did ask me if i wanted dinner when i came home at 9 00 p.m and i did say don't worry about it i ordered food to the house so i apologize i wasn't even upset i was like oh i was starving friday and you're like well i offered to cook and i was like well when do i not want food and then he's like well sometimes you don't sometimes you eat i said no he's like well sometimes you don't sometimes you eat sometimes you eat sometimes i said no he's like you were eating on tick tock what was i eating and you're right i sometimes do something sometimes i get capital girls sometimes i get bruxies you asked me saturday after the halloween nights light thing we went on and i didn't eat that night either and i was also annoyed and i was just like damn i'm hungry right now actually could you go whip a cajun chicken pasta at midnight like it was giving that vibe where i was like damn i am hungry so i think every time and i meant to apologize yesterday after we ate dominoes because i was feeling so full and i was like i need to apologize now because you were right on that situation and then i felt bad so i'm sorry thank you but you don't even need to i know i felt bad i did feel bad and you do always offer you always offer to cook and you're like i can have something ready for you because usually i would it's just it was so late at night that i really didn't know if you're walking in the door straight to bed because i was i was tired yeah you were up like every day she would wake up at four in the morning and you'd be on set at six in the morning and then you'll be back at home at like nine pm yeah so you would like go straight to bed so i just had no idea and the problem is i'm skinny throughout the day so i like i literally would be like i have a chicken caesar wrap for lunch and like that's it i eat like half of it but then i'm starving but it is like 9 30 and it's like i should the night before i did stop to go then the second night i did get bruxy's delivered and i ate on the way home and then friday night i just didn't i just should have eaten and i was just so hungry yeah and i think i i just know that it's more like you have an issue of asking because for me it would have been fine if you were like living in the set and just text me like hey can you just like because i even asked i think like do you want me to boil some water which means you know throw in some pasta yeah no you did ask that you did ask that too and i said no you're right but i know you have hard time asking for food so that's well not this week i gave you the menu i gave you the right yeah that's the best that's the best when we know exactly the meal plan yeah because i think in my mind it's like kids and babies they have such a like they need the routine yeah and when the routine was broken last week yeah yeah it was tough it was like my dad we have a um one of our we have a babysitter who's a filipino and um my dad was like he could he's my dad's very much like me as you can tell you know where i get my food issues with my dad is he's like me we just have food issues right can be like a little bit you're very skinny my dad's very skinny and stuff like that but could be like a binger whatever a bear that and like we have a we have one of our babies we love so much and she's filipino and my dad like could help himself he's like oh have you ever like made like lupia oh my god were you there how did you know this and she's so sweet and she's like oh my gosh like she's like oh my god yes i actually can cook it whatever and then she made us lumpia and she all you gotta do is drop them in the fryer and i'm just like oh i'm just thinking about that lumpia for tomorrow that sounds so good oh my god that literally but my dad is very much like me like oh you're from the philippines and he's like but she does actually cook really good lumpia so she's like actually i'll make it and then she sent me a text like i made you lumpia and share some with your dad too and i was like oh my god it was like really really nice so me just thinking about food because i haven't had a home-cooked meal in like a week because i've been gone for 14 hours a day and it really is a love language and it really is like you spoiled me because you know i like i can't eat out now i just like i just what what are you gonna do panda express i couldn't even really eat that because moses makes such good like rice and chicken i know i was really excited to eat it and it was fine but i was like it just doesn't hit like moses's chicken stir fry with the water chestnuts and green things so it's very difficult for me to eat out now but for me well you always had a good cook no just here like you know going to school when i went to college it was hard when it was like i was working all night going to school all day but it's like i would just go out on the street and be like what's out there just a quick meal it was always well you grew up with like a really good like home-cooked meals so i think that's why the difference is i always grew up with like mcdonald's and so i switched up we did domino's yesterday and that was really that's when i was happy and i was gonna text you and i was just like not text you i was gonna talk to you we were in person and i was gonna talk to you about it but um yeah when you have kids thin crust pizza is a lifesaver if you need it like fast and it's like a little snack like a little cracker it's only 500 calories for that whole pizza and we all have a little piece the kids all love it it's so tiny you chocolates it has nothing to do with our kids or anything like that it was something else it's it's dubious it's niche but um but you were like in a great you were in a silly mood about it because it was so ridiculous and then i felt bad for you i was like no i know you really wanted those chocolates no i'm more in just shock about it everything. It's the black market of In-N-Out delivery services, which I thought was so interesting because In-N-Out, uh, famously will never put their food on a delivery service. So you can't Uber Eats it. You can't Postmates, no Grubhub. I hate it, but I respect it because you got to get it fresh. Like it just doesn't taste the same. If we don't eat it as soon as we pull out of there, or sometimes we're restaurant people, we'd like to eat inside. But if you don't put it as soon as you pull over, it's just not as good. It loses the flavor. When people eat cold cheese fries on TikTok, I'm like, you are a felon. Like go to jail. Like, why are you doing that? Like, that's crazy. Okay. So yeah, they've vowed to never offer delivery services for their decision though, is more on not so much the taste, but the direct customer to In-N-Out employee interaction.
