Victor Davis Hanson: The Democratic Party Is Unrecognizable

In February 28th, when they finally unloaded on them after the fruitless negotiations and they did overwhelming damage with the Israelis, that they were gonna collapse. From said yesterday, those people have to rise up and fight. Which is greater. The fear of being slaughtered as in the past, because these people will kill 40,000 more. Or the idea you're gonna starve to death, they're using their own people in the way that Hamas use people. Do you imagine what that would do to Hamas and the Houthis and Hezbollah? They would be flat broke forever. It would free Lebanon. It would empower Syria. That could happen. Welcome. This is Victor Davis Hansen in his own words. And this is our Friday news roundup. So we're gonna look at the news from the week we're recording on Wednesday afternoon. And so lots has gone on. We'll be looking at the Canadian Prime Minister. Again, I know Jack and Victor talked about him a bit, but some new things have come out. And then in Connecticut, illegals are mining the shores of all the crab and clams. And the lawful citizens are now a little bit miffed about it in Connecticut. So we'll start with those two stories first. Stay with us and we'll be right back. Not just addressing the transgender issue or the Green New Deal and all of those issues that were so dear to the Democratic Party, but ending them, defunding NPR and PBS. So Victor, let's start with the Canadian Prime Minister. I know that you and Jack talked a bit about him, but he apparently came out recently and said he won't make a deal with the United States if they keep doing memes, throwing shade and trying to be to which throwing shade mean. I'm not really dead sure about that. It's a Canadianism. I don't think Mark Carney understands the American National Character. If you're telling American, you're hurting my feelings. Please don't do memes. That means I read that yesterday and I said in 24 hours, there will be memes all over the Internet and there are some brilliant ones on already. So he has Bruce Feeling. So there's three layers of analysis of what's going on. The first layer is the actual dispute. We're and I'll just be very brief. We are on a supposedly freight free trade zone, an update of the NAFTA. And they're running still 50 to 60 billion dollars surplus. So the Americans are saying Mexico complied and they're reducing, but you haven't yet. And there's other issues that we're not even going to talk about. You don't, you just barely met the 2%. We don't even know if that's accurate, but you haven't been paying your NATO dues. We have a non-patrolled border. And you're still waiting to surplus. So we're going to discuss it. We opened it. So they reopened it. The party was ready to do a deal. And the sticking points were we said, you can't get cheap in the agreement. It says you can't bring in stuff from a non-market economy. That's that a dictatorship that's dumping stuff. Well, China was dumping product aluminum steel. They were used in cars and assembly in Canada. That meant cheaper cost, which means they could undercut American. So that was one issue. And then Canada came and said, well, you guys are, you just blanket our digital media. So we want 5% of all your revenues to subsidize indigenous and French cultural issues on your media. No, we're not going to do that. And so we said no. And then, you know, of course Trump said Lake Ontario and Alberta should be a state. So there were issues. They all could have been resolved because for all the high 50% trade, it only affected 5% of trade. So it was nothing. It was a nothing burger. And the ones that, you know, the dairy industry used to be in Canada. Well, over 100,000 dairymen. Now there's 8,000. And it's because globalization and regulatory anyway, they can't make it. So they wanted a, when this started that they wanted a tariff 250%. But all the tariff did. And because everybody should remember tariffs are not as clear cut as you think. They protected that little industry and kept American competition out at 250% tariff over a certain level. And they didn't modernize or have the technology. So they were like a little cottage French industry. So we said we're sick of that. And they were going to agree because they had to still have the best deal lower tariffs. And then the 11th hour would be going to phase 2 really quick. What was phase 2? Alberta was having a referendum. And it's basically about greater independence and Quebec wants to be autonomous. And they were neck and neck in the polls. So Carney cooked up this idea that if I at the last moment have a big psychodromatic and attack Trump, he'll probably take the bait and start screaming at me, which he did. And my polls will go up and they had some other local elections where the liberals dominated the conservatives because they're all now pan-Canadian nationalist. We're going to protect you from the awful United States and the horrible orange man. And by the way, you and Alberta vote Canadian unity and you and Quebec, you're not Frenchman, you're Canadian unity. So it was very clever what he did. And then there was the midterms. So basically he said, I will target tariffs a little higher in red states along the border. And I will get people like Newsom to attack Trump right before the midterms and we'll have the narrative that Trump is responsible for all the inflation because we cause it. So that was the second level. The third and essential level nobody talks about the third level is they have 40 million, we have 360, we're nine times larger in population. Their economy, if you actually look at the actual goods and services about two and a quarter trillion, two and a half trillion, we're 30 trillion, we're 13 times larger the economy. So if you look at immigration, as I said earlier broadcast of all the people who were not born in Canada who came to Canada of all the people who came whose parents were not born and all of the foreign visa holder, it's 45% of the population. And it comes at a time where their regulated EU socialist economy of all the major industrial nations is at the bottom per capita, per capita GDP growth, about 1.2%. up. Here we only were with the size of California population wise, our economy is flat and we're welcoming all these people. And by the way, this is not an accident. There's something called the Century Initiative in Canada. And their idea was this, this is really crazy. Well, we have the second largest territory in the world. We could be like the United States, but we don't have enough people because we're not having kids. So let's import them from China, from India, from Latin America. Forget about assimilation, acculturation, integration, we're Canadians. And so their attitude is they want to destroy the border, these think tanks and left wing and bring in 100 million, get enough immigration so they have 100 million people. And right now their problem is they can't support Canadian welfare for all these people. They're all coming in from the third world. And they need health and education and housing and food. And this economy is flat. So second, they're sitting on the fifth largest oil reserves in the world. And the fifth largest fourth, our fifth largest coal bomb, maybe the largest potash, timber, rare earth minerals. So they're sitting on this natural extravaganza and they won't develop it. Or at least their federal system is not like ours. So they can't have pipelines that connect Canada because they all fight with each other. So my point is this, they have adopted a EU model that is ruined Germany and ruined Europe. And they are failing economically. And so they look at the United States and whatever you people on the left say, I know we have too high inflation, I know that's the wars on. I know all of this, the states are removes, but record foreign investment, record, record AI, record stock market. And more importantly, if you look at the top 10 ratings of software companies, digital media companies, AI companies, satellite company, 9 to 8 to 9 of those rankings are American. So we are, we have never dominated the world in such a degree in since 1946 or seven. Canada is failing. So that's the subtext. We are getting bigger and stronger and more powerful. And they're basically saying to us in the subtext, wow, you know, you know, you know, why don't you be magnanimous? You got all the money, you got all the population, you got all the power. So you should protect us in North America. You have a missile shield. You should spend a trillion dollars in protect North America because we're your friends. And you, what's 50 billion, you owe a trillion dollars basically your trade deficit. What is 50 billion? Come on, we're your friends. And you know, what kind of ankle bite you once in a while? We want money and shake you down for cultural appropriation or something. You're taking a wear code. We'll just pass the money. That's their attitude. Yeah, because America had a history of doing that post World War II. Yeah. We are in a new age with Donald Trump, I think. And they don't understand that. And so Donald Trump says, who are you? And they said, well, we're Canadians. We have the same language. We come from England. We're your best friend. And he's saying, you know, you took the wrong path. And you get angry when I say you should have followed the American and not the EU path of socialism. And you elected Justin Trudeau, who was an anti-American font. And you and a elected a man with three passports, who's a globalist, who is more English than he is Canadian. And they're both anti-American. And we offered you a fair deal, but you want a symmetrical deal because you think we're wealthy in your poor. But you're poor because of your own choices. You could be the wealthiest country in the world. You could be a Switzerland of North America. All you have to do is extract your natural resources, open up your economy, deregulate, get the government out. You could be booming, but you won't do that. That's why there's a million Canadians living almost in America. And that's where we are. So then he says, after he cooked up the psychodrama, and it was very brilliant. I got to get my hand. I mean, he got the, he's going to get the Alberta voting population and the Quebec population to reject greater independence and autonomy. Because he's saying, are you Canadians? Are you with the Americans? Because I'm fighting them. We're on what he said, the word war. And so now he's got himself into a war. He doesn't know what he's getting into because 75% of their exports come the United States. And then every time they try something, they say things, I feel bad for them because I like Canadians. But I don't think they're in the right mindset right now because they said, well, most of the surplus is oil. So we're going to cut off your oil. And we said, okay, it's going to go up for the midterms. You'll blame Trump. But we'll survive it. I mean, after all, take a look at you. It's full of, it's tar sand oil. It's, we like it because we alone know how do we find it. And so when you just pump it across the border, we we find it. But if you really want to get nasty about it, you can't even have pipelines connecting your provinces. You come down the United States and go around and meant it. And so maybe we won't let you supply propane, propane or natural gas to Quebec or Montreal. How do you like that? So what I'm trying to get at is they do not want, because I like Canada, you want to tell them, do not get in a fight with this huge economy, this huge population. I understand that it can be, you know, overweening right on your border, Trump is, you know, breakadocious, but just grow up and think, you know what? We've got as much natural resources as the United States. And we don't need to be 100 million people. We don't need to have open borders. They tried it. It was a disaster. We've learned that free market economy is out producing all economies in Europe, the free market in America. So let's just cool the rhetoric, negotiate the deal, and we'll be fine. But he can't do that, because fine for him is that the, he's so happy now because Alberta was very pro-American. Now they're not, they're melting off all the time and they're angry at us. And basically this dispute that's been ongoing has destroyed the conservative party and that's a tragedy. That was the, that was the party, basically, that elected Stephen Harper, who was their best prime minister in history. And we don't have anybody like that now. And we're never going to get one again, I don't think, because the immigration is altering the demography of Canada. 45% is either first or second generation, non-Canadian. Yeah. So Canada needs to grow up and enter the new age. It's post cold, cold war and post-World War 2. It's very hard. America put up with voting the bill after those, during those wars and after those wars. Everybody in America remembers Canadians. They like Canadians. They're great people. They're very competent. And if you ask my father's generation, they're tremendous fighters. They alone from 39, 40 brave, they Atlantic with their transport. They kept Britain alive for three years. They, they really took a great risk. They took all of their natural resources, oil, timber, and shipped it to Britain across U-boat waters. And they paid a terrible price. They had the de-app raid where they were slaughtered because it was a very tricky raid. The British put them up to it. And then they had a whole beach at Normandy. And then they had a wonderful navy. And they adopted socialism and stagnated the economy. And then they adopted greenism and stopped the full use of their natural resources. And then they adopted open borderism and brought in people from the third world who had enormous welfare needs. And they didn't have the economy to support it. And they did have the economy to support it. If you told the population, you have to wait nine months for a cat scan. And that's what they're doing. So I don't know. I like Canadians, but I think Karnie could have solved this. And he's mad now about Lake Ontario and shading and me mean and all that. Yeah. What did they expect? Yeah. I don't know. So the internet seems to have made people. I would consider him the crybaby prime minister. I mean, he goes to the NATO summit. They go to the NATO summit. It's the Canadians. And then you look around and they say, last year, everybody paid the 2%. But you didn't. They said, we're going to do it next year. That's what they always said. But why haven't you done it? And then they whisper, because the United States is right next to us. And we have 79 jets and they have 4,000. So obviously they can protect us. And we have about a hundred ships. And they have about 500 or 400 so they can protect this. I don't think they have 100 ships by the way. So that was the attitude. And finding people said I'm tired of it. Yeah. And the other rhetoric was, and we can just go with China because they think we'll protect them if something happens. I'm sure we'll see. Basically, the United States is in outliers not following the rules based order. And we're going to go with the EU and we're going to go with China. And the China is a dictatorial autocratic cheater in trade and it will have you forward lunch and have one hiccup. And if it ever wanted to do something to you, it could without the United States. The United States protects you. But then the EU and you're thinking, okay, Mr. Carney, let me get this straight. We have three hundred and sixty million people. China has one point four. So one American is producing more GDP. They have 21 trillion. We have 31 trillion. One American is producing 30% more GDP than four Chinese counterparts. And the EU has 21 trillion. And we have 31 trillion. And they have a hundred million more people. So it's basically we're saying, I tell you what, take a hundred million people in your country and just let them stay home all day and sleep. And we can still outproduce you by ten trillion dollars. That's the difference. And that means I think all of us know in the real world they're listening that human nature being what it is. Because it's a doggy dog world, not that you should be Darwinian. But when you can't do something, then you complain about the system or it's unfair. It doesn't mean it's not unfair and it shouldn't deserve complaints. So when I was in graduate school to take an example, if a person I know I won't mention them, couldn't re-greak very well. And he'd come out of the bleak of them. Well, they ask us and pinned our. Can you believe that? So of course I flunked. I said, we passed it. Wow. And if you're farming and you know, you're picking your grapes on August 25 because you want 10 days of guaranteed good weather, you don't have quite the sugar content. They don't weigh. So you're not going to make a lot of money. And then your neighbor or somebody down the road says, I wouldn't make a raisin until it's 22 sugar. So I'm not picking the seventh of September. Okay, the days gets three minutes shorter every day. The moisture content. Your trays are not going to die and tend to dry in 10 days. They're going to dry in October first. Then you meet the guy and everything. He lost everything. Well, I wasn't fair. Although whether a man didn't tell me that that was going to happen. What did you expect? So that's what I'm getting out of Canada. What does they expect when they adopt a socialist paradigm? And they open their borders and they're right next to this colossus. Yeah. And they're not electing the smartest people in the world. And it's interfered and they interfere with US politics. They're now got a news and just cut a video for them against his own country. So as you were talking, I was thinking, what if all of those European countries in Canada get together for their own October surprise? Forget Iran having a October surprise. No, it was what they're going to do. I mean, I don't think Scott DeSant should have gratuitously said, what are they going to do to get two submarines from their Toronto mall? Is that what he said? Yeah, they're two submarines and bring them down on top of us. I know, but I mean, yeah. But they brought it on themselves. It's carny thinks he's really smart because he's pulled. Here's his thing. He's pulled off. He may have saved Canada unity by creating an American monster in their mind. It's all this Canadian there. I'm getting tired of it pushed around by Yankees. I'm voting Canada unity, not Alberta and sovereignty. I think I do not like to be French anymore. I like to be Canadian in Quebec. That's what they're saying. And that's really smart. And he's thinking, ah, I'm going to make him lose the house and the senate because all my blue butter brothers are going to be empowered. And I'll kind of selectively put little tariffs on red states who lose his base and all this stuff. So he thinks he's really smart. So Victor, let's turn into the Connecticut shoreline, which apparently is being mined at night of its crabs and its other shellfish by illegals. And then the lawful citizens come out during the day and there's nothing left for their, you know, it's sort of like a pastime people can do and go pick up crabs and clams and have a clam bake. Two issues here. One is intersectionality. See, the left has so many biases and built in asymmetries and prejudices. That they can't sort them out. In other words, who's the greater victim, the trans guy, woman, or the illegal alien, or if you're not white versus Muslim, who gets the greater to share? So now you have a dilemma for the left. On the one hand, if Joe White guy went out there at night, they put him in jail for a year. But these are illegal aliens. So they're victimized to press pupils. So they have to figure this out. How much ecological damage to these rarefied species can we endure versus how much virtue signaling can we transmit on behalf of illegal alien? It's a tough call, but they came down on the side of illegal aliens. And the second issue is, generally the left, in a matter of adjudicating American citizens and their rights and freedoms, they don't like American citizens. They prefer victims. They like American citizens if they are in the victimized 30% or they're illegal alien. So this asymmetry on a forcing environmental laws can be transposed to all different issues. So let's ask everybody in the audience. In California, is it harder for a vet to get a professional trucker's license or for somebody who came across the border illegally who can't speak English? No brainer. Let's ask another question. In Los Angeles, who will be the first to be arrested? A family who's coming up from, I don't know, Bakersfield to go to Disneyland and all the hotels are crowded. So they're just going to camp out on a sidewalk and right down the street and put their little tent. Will they be cited? Yes. How about a homeless person who is fornicating, urinating, injecting and defecating. No, he will not. This was brought home to me in a video somebody sent me in New York where there's a bunch of homeless people and they parked their cars way, you know, in places they're like 30-minute parking, but they took the license plates off. So then some other person found a place, followed the rules, has a registered, insured car with a license plate and he gets tagged, and they say, "Well, what about those guys?" Well, they took the license plates off. Well, can I take the license plates off? No, you can't. You're a law-biting citizen. Who's going to pay the fine? These people, and that's how the left operates. And so the culmination of that day after day is, that's why I wrote the Dine Citizen. Citizen is a secondary concept. Victims, you know, it's the same thing about, I like people send me things, links, so somebody sent me a link not too long ago of a store. And it was, let's just say that there were minority youth, primarily black, and they went in and swarmed the store. And I mean, they swarmed it. They all met on social media, social media told me at the store, and they just looted it. Most of the people they looted are small ethnic groups, owners. So the question is, if 10 frat rats say we're going to go into a surf shop and just take them, you don't think they're going to, I don't think they're going to get away with that. And so there's one of two concepts working, either that it's the problem of so overwhelming in psychological or even logistical terms, they can't deal with it. So they ignore it. IE, how are you going to rest 50 African-American teenagers for theft? That's a social psychological catastrophe. The media would crucify you and some of them might fight back, and then you have George Floyd problems versus how hard is it to get a bunch of white frat boys and line them up and arrest them? Same thing about the family who wants to go to Disneyland and camping out. Mr. Smith, did you know you didn't get a permit for camping? You're parking overnight. That is illegal in Los Angeles on this particular street. You have no water. We're going to have to find you. But look at them. Well, there's thousands of them, and there's one of you, and you follow the law, and you won't tear up that summons or that fine, like they will. And so that's what we do. We put increased enforcement upon the law-abiding citizen to subsidize the growing number of people who don't play by the rules. And we're getting to a point where the people who don't play by the rules in terms of dollars or time and expense, it's not sustainable. It is not sustainable. And you can see it in California when you're driving, I drive on a 55-mile-hour zone cross-country on two-lane roads to Palo Alto. I've done it for 25 years. What do you do with the people who are going 80 miles an hour, and you know, trucks pass you. You're going 55. And the truck passes you at 75 on Manning Avenue in the middle of the night. And they do that because they can get away with it. And I don't know what to do. That's what's behind the harvesting of clams and oysters and crabs. I know. I'm going to make a bet that those Connecticut liberals are going to figure out how to stop these people from taking all of the shellfish from the beach. Yeah, they're going to figure a way, but it's going to have to be, I'm not going to see an illegal alien. Maybe they can have a little helmet with blinders on them, and they can't look sideways, and they just look down at the beach and put signs up illegal, or they call the police and say, I'm not going to be home. I'm going to be taking my nap for two hours. Would you come and get ice and to pour all these people because they can't actually be seen or heard to have done anything to enforce immigration law? Of course not. All right, let's turn to El Said. I know he's out there in the news. And, you know, I wonder whether we should do this or not, but I'm sure I'm pretty sure he's got a lot of rhetoric that needs to be put out there and needs to be addressed. So we're going to look at some of his things he's said this week. So he's said about JD Vance. There seems to be an argument going on between the two that JD Vance has quote brown kids, according to El Said, who quote actually don't belong as much in this country. What a very strange thing to say I'm very racist. And then he has also said and or blamed the media for bringing up Hassan Piker as though he's separate from Hassan Piker. He's a California podcaster. Did I ever meet him? Did I hear that? And then because Hassan Piker is an egotistical narcissist. So what did he say? Actually, I've never campaigned before until Said called me up and invited me into Michigan. It was a whole new experience. So I put on my little mal costume and I did what I was asked to do. He's not going to be the fall guy for El Said. I mean, we don't expect him to win, but I want to point out one more thing. I don't be so sure. It's not just his racism, but his anti-Semitism as well. And he's now got a lot of problems with the Jewish community because he said about a synagogue that had been attacked hurt people, hurt people. And he's tried to apologize, but I have a feeling it's not going to go over very well. What he basically said was this. This man who attacked a synagogue has a brother in Hezbollah. And Hezbollah, he didn't say this, but this is the truth, was sending thousands of rockets into Israel. And I felt that an ascended Iran and the Hamas, after October 7th, they'd finally crushed Israel. And then Israel went medieval on them. And this man got killed as part of a terrorist organization. So his brother was hurt, hurt. My terrorist brother got killed by the Israelis. So I'm going to go to the closest thing to Israelis that I can think of. Jews. And then I will hurt them and try to kill them. And so then I said, Said says, this hurt man should be exempted because he hurt them as if they're culpable. And this isn't going to work. And then we had the attorney general, I think, of Michigan, Miss Nisa. Is there a name? No, I'll, I'll be, she's any SS any SS any SS EL. Yes, Nisa. And she said something quite extraordinary. She said, given the Republican record on the environment, IE, they're against the Green New Deal. And it Rogers is emblematic of these heartless environmentalists. They're not even anti-environmentalists. That even though Said hates Jews and is threatened them and wants to kill basically, we should sacrifice ourselves and vote for him for the greater good of humanity. And he, she gave the example of Esther in the Bible who put down her life to save Jews. So what she's basically saying is that as a Democrat who knows Michigan better than anybody and as a Jewish person, this guy hates us and would like to kill us. But environmental issues are more important. So we're laying down our lives and we should be accredited, even though we're going to vote for, I want you to vote for him because we're going to be sacrificial lamb. It's a pretty and bad indictment of Said because she's basically saying that he will do all he can to destroy Jewy. Yeah, he's an anti-Semite, but we all, all us Jews should vote for him. Like that is just insane. Why is he saying that? Because in the latest Jewish groups, Democratic, not convention, but meeting almost no one showed up. You look at donations are not giving to him because they're smart. And they know that this is all an act. And so what he's doing right now is he was an anti-Semite. And for years on social media, it's all over there. He raved and raved about what gave me the most career leverage. I am not an American. I am an oppressed Egyptian immigrant who deals every day with anti-Islamic, anti-minority, racism. And I am really angry about this. And all by the way, I deserve a Rhodes Scholarship. And he got it. And then he said, "Well, I get admission into law school. I mean, medical school. Okay. Well, I didn't ever take the medical exams, so I'm not a doctor, but I did get a degree in as a physician, but I never was a physician because I never got a license. But I deserve a job as the chief health officer of Detroit. And then I need to do this. So his whole his whole existence resistance has been using the minority card, the racist card, to propel his own career and then to justify that, not by showing magneticity and thanks to the larger culture, but to show contempt and hatred and say they're racist and they are mean and then Israel should be destroyed. And then he wants to run for a statewide office and wants all Michigenders to vote for him, and that's impossible to square that circle unless he does two things. He goes back and wipes clean his whole record and, too, he starts wearing his little tight weightlifting black t-shirt and his American slang and he puts on a cowboy hat, he does a little disco, he does a rap, he talks like he's just a guy down the street that I have funny little name of dual, I'm just like you, I love you people, we have to stand together with our Jewish brothers and then you know as soon as he gets elected, he's going to out Elon Omar, Elon Omar, it's not going to be Benjamin Babies, it's going to be bad because that's what he does, kind of like Mondommy, I'm not really a socialist, I'm just sort of a liberal Democrat and then he gets in and, you know, if you don't take care of your apartment we're going to confiscate it, you're rental, so it's going to be tough to see, he doesn't pull well in the sense that he was supposed to win his primary by 10 points and he won't, by 1%, yes, that's true and the APAC, the American is really, the everybody in Hillsdale will get out to vote all 10,000 voters, I'm sure they will by the way, everybody in Michigan for this particular election, just call area aren't up present of Hillsdale, sober, judicious guy, and ask who to vote for and take as a recommendation and follow it. There you go. Hillsdale can lead, I hope, there's not enough Hillsdale in Michigan, that's a problem. Yeah, well, I'll be interested to see if there's any Jews that vote for El Saeed because that is just me, I know, I have a feeling there will be but it's, I hope that it is very small proportion of the votes. I hope so. Well, you talked about the financing of campaigns and so that was the other thing with El Saeed, I wanted to approach, he is accepting funds from care, the Council on American Islamic relations. Care. Who is that? The ARE. Yes, and it was the brainchild of a care cares, of an organization, the Islamic Americans for Palestine's that was funded by the Muslim brother, yeah, the 26 or 29, 1926 or so then Egypt. So there's two things on this funding campaign, he's accepting those funds, about $175,000. Mike Rogers is rejecting any funds from APAC, which is the American Israeli public act. He's doing it so I don't think that's a wise thing for him to do because it feeds into the accusation that, well, I'm so sensitive that you say Jewish money is affecting the election because they're given a lot of money that I won't take any. If that, if that's the result, that's a mistake. But if the result is this, well, I have a lot of Jewish friends and I like their money, but I don't think a foreign government, not a foreign government, but an outside entity should give money into Michigan, then I don't think that the care should give money either, you know what I mean? And I'm doing something against my wishes because I want to be neutral, and I want him to be neutral and do the same thing. But I feel a little bad, I like Mike Rogers a lot, and I hope he wins in a landslide, because you don't, with Islamists, give in. Don't Trump learn that trying to be reasonable and fair and dealing with Iran. So Victor, let's turn to, I had next the attorney general, but in Michigan, who said that the Jews must suck it up and save humanity, but we already talked about her. So let's turn it. By the way, I should end that conversation. That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard anybody say. We're going to have to put our lives in danger by voting for someone who wants to destroy the Jewish state and has an anti-Semite who said, quote, well, I shouldn't say quote, a paraphrase. Hassan Piker said, "If you Jews keep pushing Israel, at some point you don't know what's going to happen to you in this country." And that guy is almost identical with El Sayyid, because he invited him in to speak on his behalf and you're going to vote for that guy. So you're going to say the environment? That is lunatic. That's lunatic. So let's turn then to somebody not lunatic, Scott Besant, our Treasury Secretary. And he had a couple of things this week. One, he is engaging in a new Operation Economic Outcast where he is continuing new sanctions on bank and finance with Iran. And that's interesting to me, because it seems like just about every two or three weeks, he announces an operation of this kind. And so, I mean, maybe our audience knows a little bit more, but it seems like they find new things all the time, countries that are helping Iran. Finances that Iran has access to that they can cut off. And he's always got something new on the horizon. I was wondering if any thoughts on that. Well, I think the problem was that in February 28th, when they finally unloaded on them after the fruitless negotiations, and they did overwhelming damage with the Israelis, that they were going to collapse. But they were kind of like Japan by night after Okinawa and July, Japan was done for. Their harbors were mine, their cities were 60% were hollowed out by the B-29. They had no control of their own airspace, battleships, you know, sent solvals into their shores with impunity, submarines wouldn't let anybody go in or out. But they lasted all of July and all the way up to the atomic bomb. So it was very hard to make them give up. So you did a shock. So we thought they were going to surrender, but this is a theocratic, unhinged regime that just killed 40,000, 30 to 40,000 of their own people. They don't care. So their attitude is, well, the Americans stopped. So we'll negotiate. And by the way, not all the countries are following the blockade or embargo. And they will never enforce it because people like the Spanish, the North Korean, the Chinese, the Russians and we have rail links on land that haven't been touched, we have airports. So we don't get all of our stuff out or in just by sea. And we kept thinking, well, it was hurting them, the embargo and sanctions. And then finally, people said, you can't trust these people, the 60 days. memorandum of understanding was a joke. And they had a lot of, as people say, there's a lot of rot left in an institution. So what I'm getting at is each time they make a pronouncement, somebody tells them you can do it better than that. So now we are embargoing and sanctioning not just them from trading, but people who trade with them. So in theory, if we find out the Chinese are sending missiles, say, we're not going to deal with China, that would bankrupt China. We'll see how that goes. And then secondly, we're trying to tell the world that these theocrats that feel that they any day they would like to be in heaven with 72 virgins are on hinge, but on the other time they're savvy business people and they're greedy and they have luxury estates in London and Paris and property and vineyards. And we are going to trace every single one and confiscate it. And that's going to hurt them. There are people who have been writing that the problem that we're going to have is that since the currency is worth nothing more than waste paper and there's no oil getting out for revenue and even being pumped in some cases for gasoline because they need spare parts and they don't produce their own oil and gas. It all has to be in everything in that country's got to be imported except drones. And even the components have to be imported. And so now after March, April, May, June, July, August, six months, they're running out of parts and the whole thing is starting to grind to a halt. So now the existential question is Trump said yesterday, those people have to rise up and fight, which is greater. The fear of being slaughtered as in the past because these people will kill 40,000 more or the idea you're going to starve to death or you're going to not just be confined in your home and you'll have no air conditioning, no heating with winter coming on for heat. And that's what we're worried about. There are people who say, well, what are you going to do, Trump, when they can't eat? And the government likes that because they think that you'll ease up. They're using their own people in the way that Hamas use people to shield their tunnels and mosque schools and hospitals. They're doing the same thing on a national scale. They're using their own people that are pro-American and we like. And they're saying, well, you can do what you want, but they're going to die before we are. And that's a problem. Trump's attitude, as I said, is kind of the Anaconda. And it's trying to make the the ward livable by basically saying we got it down now so we don't have to do kinetic action very much. It's expensive. We've tragically lost 17, but we're not going to really lose any more people. Price of oil goes between 70 and 90 dollars, but nine million, everybody said they're lying. It can't be nine million barrels. Well, we found out this week there are nine million barrels getting out. And there will be 15 million very quickly on pipelines to the Mediterranean, the Gulf of Oman and the Red Sea. So what I'm getting as Trump is basically saying, I can sustain this and it's a war, but it's not a war. Everybody said it's a war. We're losing it. No, it's not a war. It's a sanctions now. It's like the blockade of Cuba in '62. How long did that last? They couldn't withstand that. So that's what we're doing. And as long as we're not spending a great deal of money, we are, but not like a real war, and we're not getting people killed, it's sustainable, but it's not sustainable for them. What the left is terrified, both the European left, the Canadian left, and the American left, is a scenario like this. Everybody should listen very carefully. So everybody is saying Trump is down, Trump as in the Republicans are generically down eight points. And they may lose the Senate by, may even get the Democrats to Senate seat majority, and they're going to lose the House, and they're thinking, thinking, thinking this. And then on October 20th, guess what? The people come out, thousands of them are starving and around, and they head for the Iranian National Islamic Guard Corps. Iranian Islamic Iranian Guard Corps. And they go in there, and they get in a pitch fight, and they win, and it's kind of like jubilation, and they have pro-US sign. That is what everybody's afraid of. If that happens two weeks before the election, then all bets are off for the Democrats, because at the cost that we paid to get rid of a 50-year existential threat, that everybody said was impossible to get rid of, and it would be another Vietnam or Iraq, or to get that out with no bomb, and then not just to get rid of them, but to have them pro-American, basically the most sophisticated, largest population, except for Egypt, biggest area, pro-American on both sides of the Gulf. Can you imagine what that would do to Hamas and the Houthis and Hezbollah? That could happen. So that's what they're really worried about. I would say the odds of that happen are 30-70. I think it should be noted too that even our left-wing presses are some of them. CNN, as a headline, "No Iran is not winning. It's losing its leverage in Hormuz," and Newsweek has a headline, "Iran is facing its Soviet moment, and possibly it's end," which is extraordinary for those left-wing presses. I don't understand why the left and the right are. That is true, but I think I mentioned, I think it was John Mishamir, the author about the Israeli influence of the United States. He said that no country is rooting for us. The sat just got back from the financial minister of 20 Western countries. He said they're all basically hoping that we win. Tucker said that it's completely a disaster, and Donald Trump should be impeached. Robert Kagan, who used to be a stalwart Republican, married to Victoria Nulin, who was the NATO minister, he wrote that we lost the war. So one of two things are happening. One of three things. They're completely on hands and lost their minds. They know that's not true, but their hatred of Trump is such they hope it's true, and they think they can realize that by promulgating something, or they're sitting in their office, they have no knowledge at all. They're not even reading. They don't even care. They don't look at the news reports, they don't talk to people, and they just decide they're losing. It's either they're completely ignorant, or they know what they're doing in their line, or they hate Trump so much, they're blinded to reality, because reality, there's evidence out there from any source. It's not just CNN, from the Arabs, from people who call Iranian relatives, everybody is worried that they're starving to death. I just wanted to address one more thing because Elizabeth Warren was questioning Scott Visanti's actions in support of the Japanese yen, and she wrote him a letter that was critical. He replied to her and I think this just needs to be out there because this was brilliant, and here's part of his letter. You, Elizabeth Warren, know even less about the foreign exchange than you do about banking. What is equally shocking? Not a single member of your media mob has a rudimentary enough level financial marketing literacy to spot your rudimentary error. You know he drives them crazy because ostensibly he he fits their little blueprint of people you don't criticize. He's openly gay and he was a chief financial advisor for George Sorrows. So he was the mastermind and made the money that's basically fueled the left-wing radical project. And then Trump gets, he talks to Trump and he sees that the left-wing project's no good. So he wants to help Trump. But he's not an academic. I'm not making fun of my friends that are academics that are an economic, so brilliant. But this is a guy whose life, but livelihood, depended on betting on the bond market, stock market, and mastering the intricacies. So he knows all of that. So then the left looks at this. He says, well, he's gay and he work for Sorrows, but on the other hand, he's a billionaire and he's savvy and he's a hyper-capitalist and he's working for Trump. And then the thing that really gets them aggravated, he talks like he's Trump. So he uses memes. He had an argument when somebody said they had to separate them from throwing punches. I think he said once we're going to kick their ASSES. And then he said, why would we be afraid of two submarine-toys submarines, basically? So he doesn't fit any category, but he's really knowledgeable. And he basically says, I'm going to run the Treasury Department the way financial markets, bond markets, the stock market works. I know the mentality because I'm one of them, and I did it for 40 years. And so we'll see. He's a very smart guy. He's getting a lot of them. I would make a. There's been controversy around JD Vans. There's been controversy around Pete Hexas. I'm not saying I agree with it, but there's been controversy about all of them except Marco Rubio and him. And all of a sudden, you see him everywhere. So you get the impression that he is making decisions outside the realm of economics and finance, foreign policy decisions along with Rubio. Yeah. Yeah, he's doing a great job. And he has also sort of this weird endearing nature about him where he has a slight stutter, but it's nothing you really notice. And he sort of looks like he's almost confused a little bit. He looks six inches over everybody's eyes or their head. He just kind of stares off. And then he starts speaking and cosmically to the world. And he doesn't show any emotion. They don't know what to do with them. He seems entirely rational. That's true. Speaking of entirely rational, a Mr. Marcus Coleman testified. His daughter was. His car was hit by a driver vehicle and his daughter is now in a wheelchair or quadriplegic. And he testified and the Democrats are sitting there. This is, if any, you can go out there and see this on video. Everybody are highly recommended. He was there only for five minutes. He did things you expected. Like he said, these Democrats don't care about me or anything except when they have their moment here in committee, they want to act like they do. The open borders have hurt people. And they all are trying to disrupt ice when when ice is the proper way and cooperation would save people like his daughter. But he said, one more thing that was really interesting. He said, Democrats are changing all the time. The things they're saying to the people. And they're switching this way and that. And I think that people are starting to notice that. They don't know what to do. He's like Bassant. I think he's part African-American or Hispanic, maybe. I think he's Hispanic. Yeah. So they don't know what to do with him because he's a protected group. And he's very articulate and very smart. And he's fearless. And he knows this daughter was done a terrible injustice by this illegal truck driver. And he knows how the liberal mind works. So he goes to Congress and he basically tells a bunch of left-wing mostly white people. You think you're so good and virtue signaling. And because the consequences of your terrible ideology never affect you. They affect people like me and my daughter. I'm sick of you. And somebody has to call you out. You're complete phonies. You sit here and you're so sanctumony as you feel so good about yourself letting 12 million people in. And then you go to your smug secure places. I'm ad libbing. But that's what he's basically saying. And then we have the fallout. We suffer. Not you. And I'm tired of it. And so it was it was very powerful. What was really insightful is when he said they have no agenda. They have no principle because they do change. You turn on TV. And you are told by Heikam Jeffries that the democratic socialists are separate. It's not us. And then you hear Carval say that. It's crazy podcast. And you hear Rama manual say they're not part of us. And then Heikam Jeffries endorses a socialist for mayor over a Democrat Andrew Cuomo. And then Chuck Schumer, the second of the two most powerful Democrats, says we're big tent. And so what is it or I just showed an article called the democratic chicken or the socialist egg, which came first. And the traditional and I had said that the socialists, I mean the Democrats came first. I called them once, Dr. Frankenstein. I think I started that metaphor. And the monster was they created it. And that's important to remember because everybody has this idea they were taken over by this foreign group of anarchist and radicals. No, they set the tone. And so when the when the democratic socialists give you really radical that we're going to pack the court and get 15 judges, we're going to bring in DC and Puerto Rico and get four senators. We're going to get rid of that racist filibuster. We're going to destroy the constitutional electoral call. Where do they get that? They got it from the Democrat. The Democrats were saying, well, yeah, we've been saying that for a decade. Then they say, well, we're going to destroy the border. We believe in global socialism. We're going to let in 10,000. And they say, duh, we've been doing that for four years. And then they say, you know what? We're going to get the rhetoric. We're going to get on the barricades. We're going to say, get in their faces and harass them. We're going to get out in front of the Supreme Court and say, you know, justice is you reap the win. You're going to sow the you're going to sow the whirlwind. You don't know how it's going to hit. Well, okay, we did that four years ago. Shimmer did it. Maxine Waters does it every day. And they're thinking, well, what are we doing? And basically a democratic party says to them, well, you're a bunch of irrelevant people that nobody ever heard of and you're a bunch of downwardly mobile urban white elites, 85% of you and you're overeducated and you're downwardly mobile and you have debt. And you've got a lot of crackpot ideas. So come on over here, grow up where the money is and the power is and we'll let you have three or four year netty ideas. You can say you want to get rid of the Pentagon or Senate. That's okay. But basically, you're going to tow all of our agenda and that's what they're doing. And I can't tell the difference between and if somebody says, well, Victor, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Ramameleon explained that their that socialism is different, that democratic, so let me ask you a question. Who is being mentioned as the democratic best nominee in 2028? I think I just saw AOC say she changed her whole staff for president and I've heard so many people say she'd be great and she is a charter member of the New York chapter of the democratic social. So they're going to run a democratic socialist. Let me ask you another question. Why don't they call themselves the independent socialist of America? Or how about the Republican socialist of America? How about just socialist of America? They chose democratic because that had the most affinity with them. And so they are one and the same and they have simply come out of the cold. It's like some person nodding those little teenager that was spouting off and they say, you know what, bam, bam, they slap them three times, get cleaned up, come in the house and they'll listen to you. And you're going to do exactly, I think they are in control. And they learned, how could you get more left than what they democrat? And you know, what if they said, we've got a grand plan. We hate Trump, but you guys haven't done anything. Here's what we're going to do. We've got two and a, we're going to impeach him twice. And we're going to try him, even when he's out of office, how do you like that? You know, we're going to do next as socialists. We're going to raid Marlago with get the FBI to raid him. And then you know what we're going to do? So we're going to try to get the next Republican off the ballot in 20 states. And then we're going to get all our left-wing DAs in Manhattan, New York, and federal prosecutors, and we're going to try to find them a half a billion dollars and forward lawsuits, and we'll dig up somebody like a E. Jean Carroll and we'll sue it, and maybe we'll accuse them of being a Russians. We'll do all this stuff. That's what they did. Yeah. They didn't do it. The Democrats did. Yes. And the Democrats will not say that those are the things that they want to do to the audience that's voting for them in a general election, but they'll change to do that. And I think that's what Marcus Coleman was trying to make a point of you guys talk one way during campaign, and then you're. They're projections. They get the idea from what. they get the idea of accusing Trump of something because they did it to Trump. So when they say he's tearing apart institutions, he's a dictator, he's king. You're thinking, "Oh, wow." He's had less executive orders in Joe Biden, or he's had less than FDR, or. He. his brother is not the attorney general, like Kennedys, or he hasn't had Kash Batel do us a raid on the Biden home yet, you know? He hasn't gone to Hunter's apartment and taken him out, and you know, showed all his. gone through his wife's blonger raid door. But whatever they think, they have done to excuse that and erase it from the collective memory, they accuse Trump of doing it, or their opponents. They're not Democrats anymore. That's the only thing that. that guy might have wanted to think about. They have nothing in common with Harry Truman and JFK or my parents. There might have been tendencies to be naive about where the trajectory of the Democratic Party would never have lived to, but they're not even Bill Clinton. Stalin and Barack Obama and Michelle said, "We're six days away from fundamentally transforming in America," and that's what they tried to do. All right, Victor. Just the last thing, there was a stabbing in New York, a crazy woman, took two kitchen knives basically, or store-bought knives, and killed a 32-year-old young girl, just married vice-president in the Bank of America, and the cops then shot this woman. And I think the issue that came out of that was. forget illegal aliens, this crazy people should not be out on the streets because they are very dangerous, and I don't know if you have more thoughts. They had to have to have been two prior contacts. The Carlos Brown was 12, so the subways killer. again, it's very easy to feel morally superior to people by being magnanimous at other people's expenses. So when you let a person like that out, or you know that she's crazy, the chances that you, a legislator or judge in a nice neighborhood with chauffeur service in many cases, are going to be affected very small. It's going to fall on somebody else, and they don't care. The only young complaint I had was that post-George Floyd, they're so scared of doing anything, and the old days, some Irish cop, where she was saying she had stabbed. she was a murderer at that point, and she'd injured another person, and she was approaching them with two knives, and they were backing up, and they taser, but her body fat and weight were such that the electrical current was having very little effect. And the old days, some old Irish cop would have walked around the back with his belly club and hit her on the head or something, or there was a similar incident in San Diego, I saw, where a guy with a stick was hurting people and threatening them, and so the cops were going closer and closer, and they had their guns drawn, and then they had a little canine German chauffeur, and so at some point they let that go, and that guy tried to hit him and hit him and hit him in that chauffeur run, and so it would have been nice, but I mean, you can't have asked the police to walk around with canines all the time, but what I'm getting down is they've so restricted the use of non-lethal force that you're almost. to save your own life, you have no choice but to use it, where if they just said, if somebody's charging you or a knife, you can do whatever you want to stop them. I think it might be. they should give more tools to the police. Yeah, that woman might still be alive, not. I mean, that's a hard thing to say, but she might still be alive, not the one that she killed, unfortunately, the vice president, but the perpetrator. All right, Victor, let's turn to comments, and you had a really played article, progressive regressive regression, and the new medievalism, and on your site there were two comments that I thought were insightful. Alex Pilz says, "One of your most thought-provoking and deepest posts, scary to think about, reminds me of Taylor Sheridan's dramatic TV series, Lyon S. Linen, or was it Marx, referred to the hard-left college professors and influencers as useful idiots. They lecture about how worthy it is to get an education and hard work in a professional field only to be compensated equally by the state and not with money or capitalist currency. I'm glad that I'm within five years of the retirement in zone and no longer have to play the game." So I thought that was interesting, the useful idiots comment. I've never saw the TV series, Lyon S. did you? No, I did not, but I watched the Dougan Rand and Dougan Rand. Dougan, yeah. Wait, you mean, Dougan? Dougan Rand, yeah. Dougan Rand, yeah. Dougan Rand, okay. That's Taylor Sheridan, isn't it? Was he me? Oh, yeah. He did that as well, yeah. Yeah. And the guy, that idea is that renegade families will not be pushed around and cannot be intimidated, basically. All right. And Sheridan actually said, when people said he was making movies or series that were right wing, he said, "Wow, I don't think they really know me, so I'm not really dead sugar." He feels like they're not necessarily right wing series that he's produced, so. All right. No, McDonald. Anything that's not communist is right wing now. Apparently, yeah. Sadly, the issues Victor has discussed in his writings will always be with us. The elitism and smugness of the oppressed oppressor binary crowd will wax and wane, depending on the country's general prosperity, and the people sense to say no to elite indictments of our constitutional order. Let's say no to the false promulmides from virtue signaling types like Norman Lear or the antique theater of Robert De Niro, as Professor Hanson has said, "We're good even if not perfect. Given humanity's history, that's something to appreciate." I can comment very briefly in a variety of ways. I was thinking the other day about Robert De Niro, and I realized one of the reasons he's a great actor, he plays himself, and himself is Max Cady in Cape Fear. That was him, and that was him as Capone in the Untouchables, and that's his best role. When he tries to be neutral, or when he was in heat, and he says, "I want to warn you that we're going to have a showdown, and I'm going to shoot you." That's him, and he's great at what he is. He's not great when he acts out of his natural persona, so I don't think he has a lot of range, but I'm Robert De Niro, and I'm a blank, blank, blank S.O. blank. That's what he is, and he doesn't have to act. The other thing when that article was written, and I mentioned a little bit out of it to Jack, I said it was going to write it, and I did, but it's so weird, because in the medieval world, they tried so hard to stop plagues, and they didn't know that the bacterial micro origins of pathogens, so they just had an empirical idea, you try to get clean water, but they couldn't stop the plagues and the sewage. We can, and yet the streets of LA and the streets of Santa Monica and places look worse than the medieval city, in some cases. It's the same kind. The medieval was schizophrenic. They had Chaucer. They had Dante. They had Thomas Aquinas. They had eyeglasses. They were really progressing, but they were regressing, and we're doing the same thing. Next to SpaceX, and AI, you've got medievalism on the street. It's kind of like they're saying, "We know rats cause typhus in LA." and we know rats breed on the soil blankets of homeless people where lice infect their fur and spread the disease. But, because we're not medieval, but we're worse than medieval, because they made an attempt to clean that out. We won't do it. We won't do what we know, and we won't do it because we care more about feeling good about ourselves and the few homeless in the thousands than we do the millions of people that might be at risk. We don't care about them. They have a contempt. People should remember that. The left has a contempt for the middle class family that plays by the rules. They work hard. They like to have a beer. They like if they can save their money in retirement for Winnebago. It's all for the left bourgeoisie crass consumerism. Even though they're the most consumers, people I've ever met, you know. The only difference is they want wood floors and granite counters and driving a Subaru or something. It's really strange how they prevent us from doing what would benefit most average people because they don't like that the catalysts are twofold. They want to feel good about themselves and they abstract as long as it doesn't hurt them. Get back to that Martha's Vineyard scene when the illegals were shipped off that bus to get in their care packages. And then, or I went to Malibu last year, I noticed that every public walkway that you have a right to walk to the beach near a movie store's home, they have planted boogan vies with spikes. So you can go through there where you're going to get scratched because they don't care about you and your rights. And because they feel they're morally superior because they champion the homeless. They don't care about rats. They don't have, I mean, they're scared of rats in their own home, but not in the public domain. And that was true about, I ended that column with Satuska, Uranian, Irina. Yeah, and that picture of Descartes Brown, Lumin over her and prepping his slate and her throat. And then the efforts that everybody went to, they say, well, she fell down and her throat was turned, so you couldn't see the spurting blood. So the five people who walked over her corpse don't get mad at them. Why not get mad at them? Five of them can't take one person. And they'd let her bleed to death. So, and then he was just declared mentally unconfident. Well, everybody who would do that is mentally unconfident. So in other words, she's just ancient history now. They didn't want to run the story. They didn't want a commemorator. They stopped some commemoration. And we have to hear about him being mentally incompetent, because we're medieval. And the same thing with abortion, we spend, as I said to Jack, we spend millions of dollars to hone the science of keeping premature babies alive. So 23 weeks, that's amazing scientific accomplishment. But what's the purpose of it when you, in Massachusetts, pass a law that say a nine-pound baby is he's working his way through the birth canal. And he looks out and he sees the world. And all of a sudden, the needle goes into his brain and sucks out his brain. That's what kind of society would allow that. So it's medieval and it's scientific and advanced at the same time. That's the juxtaposition. So we have the brilliant people with satellites and internet and iPhones and AI. And then we can't solve medieval problems. Because we feel that to do so would subject us to, we wouldn't get an opportunity to be morally superior to everybody. And that's the way we are. That's that stop that applies to stopping gang activity, to stopping inner city crime, to help inner city people. Homeless problem, you name it. You just can't, all these things are virtue signaling that prevent us from dealing with the elemental problems that the medieval period tried to do. But they didn't have our expertise. So we're worse. We have the expertise to stop plagues and sewage and bad water. And yet we won't do it. If you're a fisherman out in L.A. Harbor, when that guy in a high-mut suit gets up at five in the morning and he gets his bleach water and he shoots that. Stream, when that, he tells the homeless to get out at first. And all that feces goes into the storm grain and you goes out there. And you're a fisherman, say, a mile away. And if the Coast Guard or the city patrol boat sees you drop an empty beer can on the water, they will arrest you. But they won't do anything to the person whose feces are going out to pollute. At the same time, PhDs and environmental science are going to L.A. water treatment plants and finding one billion toxic substance. We found DBCP. There was a one-hundredth millionth of a roundup in this treatment plant. We better be careful. We found that there's enough COVID that suggests there's a minor outbreak in Brentwood because of their sewage. We had that ability. But then what's the purpose of it when you just allow people to hose off raw feces into the, because you don't want to hurt the feelings or of people who are mentally ill? Yeah. Well, you don't want to have create insane assilums that are run by the government because their government can't run anything. So all right, Victor, well, it's a terrible problem. I'm hopefully people will vote not to have declined. You get older. You start to think not in terms that are mean or racist or exclusionary, but you look at what life was like in the 1955s when we had no science, basically, and people had horrible diseases and died. I had people in my family that died. You know, I had an aunt that had melanoma and they just watched it grow and then they cut it off once and then see it wouldn't want to be. That was all we could do. So we have all this expertise in technology and yet when you look at the streets and crime and the way people treat each other, we've regressed to medievalism. I don't know if it's because of our technology or just incidental. But I have a feeling a lot of it is this marxist binary between victims and victimizers. Once you excuse 30% of the population and you don't apply the standards of behavior and you don't fully enforce the law, then you get what you get. All right.
