Victor Davis Hanson: France Is Burning as Europe Reaches Its Breaking Point

Victor Davis Hanson delivers a stark warning about the dangers of unchecked immigration, expansive social welfare, and political decay, using Europe as a cautionary example. He observes that massive inflows of people—many without legal status—have led to economic burdens, social fragmentation, and violent unrest in countries like France, Belgium, and Italy, with young people and students at the forefront. The erosion of trust in institutions, combined with weak justice systems—such as the one-year sentence for a convicted rapist—reveals a deep crisis in societal order. Hanson argues that this chaos reflects a broader Western trend where the affluent, particularly the educated elite, feel guilt over their privilege and seek to discredit their own cultural foundations. He traces this to a dangerous trend of moral self-criticism that ignores historical context, such as the complex history of land ownership in Israel or the rise of Arab populations. In foreign policy, Hanson criticizes the U.S. for failing to address existential threats like Russia’s war in Ukraine, while also highlighting the hypocrisy of European nations that condemn Israel while harboring radical Palestinian ideologies. He links these developments to the rise of political figures like Barack Obama, whose rhetoric against Israel exposed a pattern of ideological opportunism and historical ignorance. Ultimately, Hanson asserts that the unrest seen in Europe is not just a regional issue but a preview of what the U.S. will face if it continues down a path of moral complacency, political erosion, and cultural self-destruction. The future of freedom depends on courage, accountability, and a return to traditional values.

You bring in millions of people, many of them illegally, and you're giving people cradle to grave social support, and you're up to 125% GDP in debt. And then they start to riot, so you're destroying this place, and you're a guest in this country, but compared to where you came from, it's still heaven. And your attitude toward your host that welcomed you in is not magnetic. It's contempt. What you're seeing in Europe is what you're going to get here. [MUSIC] Well, hello, ladies and hello, gentlemen, and welcome to Victor Davis Hansen in his own words on Jack Fowler. Lucky man, I get to ask Victor Davis Hansen questions. And Victor is the Martin and Ilyanderson Senior Fellow with the Hoover Institution, and the Wayne and Marsha Busky Distinguished Fellow in History at Hillsdale College. He also has two shows on the daily signal. He's a senior contributor at the daily signal. This, of course, Victor Davis Hansen in his own words, and then four times a week for Davis Hansen in a few words. And while he's not doing all of that, Victor is writing for his website, The Blade of Perseus, twice a week, exclusive articles, once a week, an exclusive video. And if you'd like to see them, go to the blade of the website. VictorHansen.com is the address. It's very, you know, subscribe. It's only 650 a month if you want to stick your toe in the water, or $65 discounted for the full year. I should also mention that Victor's a best selling author of the counter revolution, the fall and rise of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. We are recording on Sunday, October 18th, beautiful day here, cold, it was 35 degrees and woke up this morning in Connecticut. This particular episode will be up on Tuesday, October 20th, a ton of things to talk about. And when we come back from the initial messages, Victor's going to talk first before topics, we're going to talk about some correspondences received, and I think Victor will even do a quick little fashion show. And we'll see that when we come back from these important messages. Freedom is given to us by God, not government, but its ability to endure rests with the people. We're seeing our God-given rights tested, threatened, and violated right now, and we must stop it before it's too late. Our friends at Alliance Defending Freedom are fighting some of the most critical legal battles of our generation, upholding biological truth, defending free speech, preserving religious liberty. But ADF depends on friends like you to keep up this work. Your gift today powers the very legal battles that are defining freedom's future. Every dollar you give today will be matched by a special grant while funds last. Visit joinadf.com/hansen, or text Hansen to 83848 to make twice the impact for freedom today. That's joinadf.com/hansen, or text Hansen to 83848. We are back with Victor Davis Hansen in his own words on the daily signal network. So Victor, I leave it up to you. It's your show. Do you want to talk about some of these letters you've received? Do you want to get the facts I've got to show us? Oh, yes, I got this. This was from Matt Reznikov. Not today. Not today. We said that line and Game of Thrones. What I'm looking for too to help Matt's shirt, I need a twin shirt, the line from DOS Boot. Not yet. Not yet. Come, Radden. So that would be good. And I'll try to wear this as much as I can because it'll give me what spiritual reinforcement. I also have to correction. The other day, I said that Marco Wubio was addressing a Greek audience on the peninx true, true, with the acroplos and the back true, true. And I said, this is where paracles often spoke true. And then I said-- it reminded me of paracles in the same place on the peninx giving his famous funeral erration. But as my and our dear friend Max Nikias pointed out, that was a special occasion. That was on the Hodoros, the sacred road to the Keremikus, where the burials were the cremations and the burials were there. So actually, in that particular case-- and it was accustomed to say that he says that the beginning of each new year, they gave an address for the years-- at the end of each year, the years dead. So he was not speaking the funeral erration on the peninx, but about four or five miles distant at the cemetery. The other thing is, I had about three or four letters, and they said, essentially, can you ever say anything negative about conservatives? One of them was from a recent convert to conservatism. All right. As long as you don't say anything negative about a place I used to work, but go ahead. Well, since you brought it up-- Oh, oops. OK. Yeah, Andy McCarthy had a piece I thought that was a little excessive about the diesel, but we're going to get into that. Yes, I can think of three things that have bothered me over the years about our site. Some of them had been remediated somehow. And the first is, I don't understand why we had this huge investment in China from a lot of free market capitalists. When we never did that in the Cold War with Russia, and they're a much more existential threat than Russia is. And then why do we take an association without worry? Why do we take 300,000 students, Republican or Democratic administration? So that was one. The second, of course, is the deficit $1 trillion, $40 trillion, supposedly, it just jumped by $6 trillion. I think they recalibrated their methodology by which they count deficits a little bit, but nobody's talking about reducing it. Doge was making really good progress. They had 200 billion in cuts, and then the outcry, and then Elon departing after his temporary term, and then that little brief tip with Trump-- I don't know, it lost traction. But so that's the second thing. I'm worried about the budget. And then I don't know what's lawful and what's not lawful. It's the same thing with the Cornell 7. I just know that what those boys are accused of, there's enough evidence that suggested they acted in a very unethical manner. I'm not sure if it was illegal, given what her texts revealed, but it was reprehensible. But I'm a little worried that-- and we saw that with Kimberly Gorfoyle and the-- I feel really close about that. About the grease I lived there almost three years. And to have an ambassador kind of party it up-- these are accusations, so we'll have to hear. So I want to be very careful. But if the text are not AI, as she is a legislator, but accurate, and she was basically shaking down people for money and then promising on trade, then that's something that the administration-- and they move quickly to stop that. But I think there are people in the larger circle around the Trump administration. Trump said himself-- and I'm going to try to recall that by memory-- something to the effect that he had a taboo, the first administration. But after what they did to him and what he saw with the Biden industry, there were no rules. So he felt that as long as they didn't break the law, people in his family who were already wealthy, it wasn't that they were going to suddenly get wealthy, but they were going to continue their business practices. But the question I have then is, as a general rule, are there people connected to the Trump administration who are making a fabulous amount of money who otherwise would not be making that money? Had they not been associated with the administration and be used that association in a way they wouldn't be able-- otherwise, just as free market entrepreneurs or capitalists. So those are my three worries about it. Because I'm worried not because I'm trying to be hard, but I think it'll hurt the administration unless something is done. I apologize, Victor. First cold day and forced hair. And says, there's a lot of dust here. Forgive my side of the problem. We have a really cold air today. And I had kind of a fighting a cold. I think it's worth mentioning briefly, because you've just mentioned Max Nikias. And you had helped that the administration would consider him from ambassador to Cyprus. And if Max Nikias is good enough for Cyprus and he is, someone else shouldn't think good enough for Greece. Well, I mean, if you look right now when you wanted somebody to avoid all the controversy and who grew up in Cyprus, a Greek speaking nation, and went to school in Greece and lived a number of years and as an engineer and worked himself up as an immigrant, legal immigrant, U.S. citizen from nothing to running one of the biggest universities in the United States. And he was the creator of the U.S.C. village and you go to the campus today and it's unrecognizable as it was, say, ten years ago, fifteen before he came. I mean, it's a beautiful campus and it's got a lot of safety measures. And as you read his book right here, American Trojan, it's back here, actually. He was going to retire anyway because he had been there a long time but the Los Angeles Times seemed to, it was, it wasn't nearly, it was kind of like the Cornell 7. There was a person on campus, a gynecologist who was accused of all sorts of sorted things and he immediately reacted and created a campus committee to investigate the charges. But the LA Times saw him, this was during the Me Too hysteria that he was a white male, intersexual and they were demanding that this guy, you know, be judge jury and execute, get out and he had the committee investigate and then they were in contact with the LA district attorney and that was a criminal matter and that, and the other, the accused who did, I think it was very clear if you read the record that Max Nikias felt the person was culpable but he wanted to go through proper channels so that he wouldn't have agreements and he did sue the university but it was very clear that, that it was politically motivated that people said, well, the DA didn't do anything. I don't think they ever indicted him or they never convicted him and Max can correct me on that or people can. Then he passed away and it's clear that as soon as he was alerted, he formed a committee and they were investigating and the DA got involved but that wasn't enough but they never convicted him at least before he died although I think from what Max has stated, he was repulsed by even the accusations but my point is if you wanted an ambassador, there would be no, there would be, if you had pointed a person like him and he's an international expert on AI so he just gave a lecture, I just read the lecture he gave in Cyprus to the, and the president of Cyprus and his invoice were very close to him and he's known, he has a lot of ideas about AI but more importantly, if you wanted somebody who would go to that beautiful country of Greece and be a staunch representative of the United States and let's, I don't want to embarrass him but he is a, he is a conservative and that's the only reason why he got in trouble with the LA Times that they were, just adamantly opposed to all the reforms he was doing at emphasis on Western civilization at USC, having donors not just from the Hollywood left but from conservatives and if you wanted somebody who was not controversial and would not engage in business and that's what's, I'm a little worried about the ambassador to Turkey Mr. Barak is already, there's things in the news that he is, I don't know what the word is Jack, I don't want to say it's illegal but when you're an ambassador that doesn't look well that you're also trying to conduct business or you are interested in business profiteering and that somebody who knows Max for 20 years, there's no way in the world that he would take an ambassador ship and try to leverage that into business profiteering. He loves Greece but he loves the United States a lot more so that's exactly what you want. He wouldn't be an advocate of Greece against the interests of the United States, he would try to find where their interests are identical and they are getting, believe me, a lot more identical given the rise of Erdogan and the public. He said the other day, did you see that Jack, Erdogan? He said if Greece doesn't recognize the Turkish government in Cyprus which no other country in the world does except Turkey then Greece will not, I'm quoting him literally, Greece will not be safe despite its friends meaning it may be a NATO but if they don't do what we tell them on Cyprus and by the way they occupied illegally 40% of the island and brought colonial what they left called settler colonialists from Turkey to increase the demography of the island. Here's what a Turkish MP said Victor, Greece must now understand that as long as it does not recognize Turkey's rights and the sovereignty of Turkish Cypriot state no matter who it aligns with, whatever agreement it signs with anyone and however many weapons it acquires it will not be able to feel safe. This is a NATO nation by the way, it's a direct threat to a fellow NATO nation and I wish we would be frank, I understand Turkey's very powerful, it has a key, it's got the largest army other than our own, Europeans did not let it into the EU and they're terrified of it and well Germany, Germany's going to be Turkey someday, by the way you pointed, I just wanted to hold up Max's book so people were watching this. He would be a great ambassador to the United States, not that we have any influence but if anybody were listening and I think it would be, I have never asked anybody from the administration for anything but he would be something that would, would serve the interest of the Trump administration and given what we've seen with the Gurf Whirl incident and then we had on top of that, I didn't quite understand, Katie Zacharias, Zacharias, I didn't understand that because I had watched her a lot on Fox and she was completely at ease with herself. And that's not easy to do and yet when she got into the limelight, she kind of froze but I didn't also understand the idea that if Carolyn Levitt has two little children you know and she has a life to raise them, it's very hard for her to travel around the world, I understood that but then Miss Zacharias has four children and I thought, if that was accurate in the media, he was pretty fair, he says, do you really want to do this? I mean, they're going to go after you and they had gone after her because she had finished, I was just down at Pepperdine, this is the first time I've really been out since the operation and she's a graduate of Pepperdine and the law school but she didn't pass the bar so they were saying that she was trying to falsely assume that she was an attorney and then a lot of legal scholars pointed out the philological difference between if you finish law school and you get a degree as she did then you're a lawyer. If you pass the bar then you go to the next step of being attorney. You can be being a lawyer and once you're an attorney by definition you're a lawyer but I'm not sure of that even, I don't know today is in the 19th or early 20th century you can just walk off the street and pass the bar. Abraham Lincoln. Right. There were no law schools. Actually, I think Shannon Coffin, I saw referring to something Wesley Smith wrote something along the same lines and I don't know that you can be called an attorney or a lawyer. You can say you have a JD, but by the way, Victor the nitpicking of titles doesn't apply to the left to El Sayyad is a doctor, he called him a doctor all the time. He doesn't have a medical license. Someone pointed out on X that Ben Carson, when he ran 10 years ago, he was Mr. Carson to the New York Times and he was a brain surgeon, but El Sayyad is doctor and of course Jill Biden. I have never seen, well, I was never referred to as doctor at Cal State or nobody, I don't think, and a given, I don't know, a given month, I don't think somebody will refer to me as doctor one time, maybe out of a hundred mentions, you know what I mean, it's Victor, Mr. Hanson. I don't operate on people, I understand that it's hard to get a PhD in some cases, but when you get one, I'm not a doctor, you know what I mean? Yes. Actually, someone attacked you over that once, right? Oh, yes, so I gave a interview with a radio station in California and they were asking me about the wisdom of the COVID lockdown, not medical questions, and they, I hadn't known what they were going to say. Dr. Victor Hansen, he is a senior fellow at the Hoover institution. And then an alumnus who was very left and the Stanford Alumni Association no need to talk about their ideology, they wrote me a letter and said we've had complaints that you're misrepresenting to the detriment basically of Stanford University that you are a doctor and you're dispensing medical. I said I did not read the transcript, go call the station, they refer to me as a doctor and I'm not going to embarrass the person and a theory a PhD can be called doctor, I just don't think it's the normal way of addressing somebody. But the left has one set of rules for itself and we're in high stakes right now so it's there's no margin of error in anything that's what the Trump administration is finding out you can't have anything given the level of scrutiny and it doesn't do any good to say well the left is worse we all knew that and they have no scrutiny we all knew that it's no good I mean look at Trump they always say 25th Amendment is not cogs in it you think that anybody 80 years old in the United States could stay up to 4 a.m. for 30 straight days flying six seven times around the country to do rallies after you've just hid from the country that Joe Biden was almost vegetative. It's kind of really shocking that the duplicity in the hypocrisy but it doesn't it doesn't do any good just to say it just you have to move on and expect that. Well Victor we're going to talk about I'm going to get your opinion anyway on some potential law fair but first and I hope I can make it through this you may have seen this researchers to our listeners and our viewers you may have seen this researchers have been documenting male fish developing female characteristics in rivers all across the United States it comes from birth control pills that wastewater treatment plants can't fully filter out and it's the same water that runs into your home and that's why you should start using cove pure to purify your water. You can see my cove pure behind me here if you're watching. So here's how this actually works when people take medication their bodies don't absorb at all the rest gets flush goes to the wastewater treatment and those plants were never built to catch pharmaceutical compounds so estrone from birth control pills antibiotics antidepressants they just come right back out of your tap. Your standard picture filter from the store it's isn't going to cut it here these compounds are too small to persistent you need something that can filter things at a molecular level and that's exactly what cove pure does cove pure is clear wave reverse osmosis technology is certified to remove up to 99.9% of contaminants estrone fluoride pfa's lead arsenic micro particles basically anything that isn't water gets filtered out I love the coke pure gives me pure fresh water hot or cold at the press of a button and I love the peace of mind that comes from knowing that I no longer have to ingest whatever drugs happen to be swimming in my water those fish they didn't have a choice about what was in their water you though you do so go to cove pure dot com slash vdh right now and you can get you will get $250 off that's cove pure C O V E P U R E cove pure dot com slash vdh and we thank the good people from cove pure for sponsoring yet another episode of Victor Davis Hanson in his own words I'm going to drink to that refrashing okay so Victor at the risk poor listeners of hearing my voice continue michigan senator alisa slokkin let's let's get your take on what she says during an October 13th podcast taping slokkin call for signature cases against Trump enablers like Kristi gnome dog bergam junean piro to send a deterrence message to potential hires here's a quote I want to look at these signature cases and not just focus on the president but on the people who enabled him I want young people coming out of school to say should I go work for the Trump administration like that sounds fun I might get an opportunity back to slokkin saying I want them to be like lord that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don't want so let me avoid participating in that your thoughts on this victor well there's that often recited quote I think it's sometimes attributed to tally ran that the bourbon's learned nothing and they forget nothing meaning they don't realize why there was a French revolution during the restoration and they're back to their old ways and this fits perfectly with the democrats they don't realize that they disgrace themselves and in five civil and criminal courtroom they tried to destroy somebody who was guilty of nothing and then they tried to take him off the ballot and then they rated his house and then they had impeached him twice they tried to try him as a private citizen for people we're going to shoot at him and had fire returned to them by the secret service and get get all that then she comes out in slokkin and says we're going to basically intimidate young people and so demonize the president that they will not dare go to work for just imagine the opposite as we always do just say that Trump says when I get through with the only one Omar when I get through these people no young person is going to want to work for these left wing because they'll be scared stiff that's that's crazy and they're getting on their high horse because the polls they think even though the polls are closing they think they're going to win the midterms and they're getting giddy and we saw that in 2016 and we saw that in 2024 so they should be very careful but you think she'd be a little bit circumspect given the law fair I suggest mislokkin if you want to free copy of counter revolution the fall and rise of Donald Trump or I can have just the I can send you an email with the first half of the book the fall and it details with footnotes exactly what they did to him but more importantly what was the result every time they did something like that his polls went up by one or two points and they knew what they were doing and they couldn't stop it they were like an addict they knew it was killing them and yet the medicine of therapy was worse than the disease of the addiction so they they're not going to stop you know well Victor let's talk about foreign policy here and this is a I'll read this from a New York Post editorial today and this has to do with Donald Trump and Russia and the easing of sanctions and that's this editorial is titled easing sanctions on Russia only helps Putin's killing machine there's no both sides in Russia's assault on Ukraine Vladimir Putin started this war war Zelensky is simply fighting for the survival of his people Ukraine targets troops and don't don't supply warehouses Russia aims at civilians Ukraine strikes all refineries that fuel Putin's army and front is invasion Russia hits power plants and in efforts to freeze women and children history will judge harshly an American administration that enables this horror yet that's exactly what President Trump is doing by shelving the sanctions against Russia pushed by Lindsey Graham and passed in his honor after his death it's et cetera so the New York Post is a conservative newspaper and this is it's a critique and criticism Victor what do you think of these sanctions what do you think of Donald Trump's at the 11th hour I think they may be right but they're only half right they don't give you the cause why is he doing this why is he doing this and they think it's because he just wants to lower diesel prices which is the as I said the blood of the economy before the midterm there's a lot to that but he knows that it's only two to five to eight percent of the world's refined diesel comes out of Russia and the Chinese will go up a lot but he thinks it'll get a psychological climate that will lower diesel prices what the lower diesel prices is more US production more refineries opening up and then the war and Iran over and we won't need to have this but what do I mean by they what they leave out number one when he said we need a new president that was probably a generalization what if he had just said this because this is what I think most people thought he met and I'll be a little bit I won't be as concise as he was hit he had said this right now Israel is facing an election it is still in a war against Iran and three members of the Ring of Fire the who's the house, Hamas, what's left of them in Hezbollah. And guess what? Not only do they have a bipartisan work cabinet, not only is their freedom of speech, not only has the President been under jurisprudence examination, he's been sued, he's been in a trial, but they have an election. And they are a tiny little country. So why can't Zelensky do if Trump said, I just like him to do this, lift habeas corpus, lift the restrictions on, let people, if you're going to charge them with something, you've got to go through a Western jurisprudence method, you just don't put them in solitary. Why not let the press be free? Why not have political parties, and most importantly, just schedule an election? And if he says, well, I'm under assault, it's war. Winston Churchill held an election right in the middle of the Pacific War. When British troops were fighting in Singapore, and it was just after in May that there were still V2s, remnant of them, hitting British cities every now and then, he had an election. We were in the midst of preparing to invade, and we were still bombing. We were still bombing. I should say that we were in the midst of preparing for Iwo Jima, Tara, Okinawa, and we were just starting to bomb Japan. And what did we do? We had an election in 1944. So FDR didn't do that. So that's what is bothering Trump A, bothering Trump B. Does anybody in Europe have a plan? Yes. Russia was the aggressor. The New York Post is exactly right. Yes, I want Ukraine to win. Most Americans do. They're fighting heroically. They had 40 million people. They're down to about 27 million. And are people leaving in droves? The average age of a Ukrainian soldier is about 33 or 34, or 44 in some cases, depending on the units. So what is the plan? Just tell us what the plan is. If the plan is, we are supposed to give them another 140 billion. And we give them starlink, and we give them intelligence, and we give them logistics. And then we sell weapons to Europe that pay us, and they give them to them. So Europe is paying more money now than we are, but there's a big untold here. Europe is very worried because Putin is sending drones and missiles into European NATO airspace. And Europe is knocking it down, but Europe is afraid, and people have called for a no fly zone over Europe. It's understandable. Just say for the first 200 miles of the NATO border, anything that comes in from anywhere by anybody is going to be shot down. Okay, but before they do that, you know what you hear? All these brave European say, "Well, we'll do that if the United States backs it up." So what he is mad about, so should we keep the sanctions on Russia, I think, so will it make a big difference in diesel if we but no? But what he is angry about is this. Europe says to us, "This is an existential threat against the West. It is." And Russia, if it's not stopped, it will swallow Ukraine. It will. And if it swallows Ukraine, it will probably go into the Baltic States. Yes, I don't think it can get into Finland or Sweden. They're too powerful. And therefore we're all united, and even though you are 4,000 miles away, it's just as important to you as it is to us. Yeah, well, you're a NATO member, I can see that. And Trump comes back and says, "Well, we went 60, 70 years in the Cold War from '45, maybe, depending on how you calibrate the end of the Soviet Union and the Russian threat, and we deterred them. We deterred them from you. We deterred them from going into Europe. We deterred them from coming to North America. We can stop them. So maybe it is, and maybe it is an existential threat. But we came to you. And we said that an unhinged theocratic government with enough nuclear weapon enriched uranium to make nine missiles and had lied, lied, lied about their intercontinental missile capability. And we knew they could go into every European capital and soon over here. And they could threaten us and blackmail us and leverage us. And that was an existential threat. And we ask you, do we ask you to fight? Like you're asking basically us? No. Did we ask you to give us, I don't know, more missiles and give us more equipment? No. We ask you one thing. We built and paid for a lot of the NATO bases, and you're our NATO partner, and we just ask you for a few things. If you want 11 B-1 bombers, $3.5 billion in an RF-A-R-A-F bet base in the UK, would you please please protect it from Iranian terrorists? And what did you do? You let them out on bail, and we had to send them home because we can't trust you. And we told the Spanish. And we told the French. And we told the Italians. We said to them, this is in your interest that you don't have a missile, but we're not asking you to get anywhere involved. All we're saying is, can we fly over your airspace or use a base? And you all said, no. It's not a threat to us. So what Trump is saying is, we're not trying to thwart you. We just think that after almost five years, nobody has a plan how to stop killing two and a half million people and wounding them in a boundary line within the Old Soviet Union. And we're for Ukraine. But I have all of these things that I've stopped. Ethiopia, Cambodia, these wars. And I would like to try to have sort of, they had a word in Latin. It was called UTI Pocedatus. And it meant the war ends as, as you possess things. In other words, it's in C2, in place. So that was a Trump position. Just stop. Stop right now. And Ukraine, it would be nice to get back to Crimea, but you don't have the ability. And the Crimea was independent for three years after the fall of Soviet Union. And you stole it before they stole it. That's it. And they got it back. And the Donbass was, that goes back to cruise ships and the border of you dot, dot, dot, dot. But that whole place is a mess. Half of Western Ukraine was Poland that stolen, that Scotland sold and ethnically cleansed all the poles out of it. So we don't really know or get into the history, but we do realize he's an aggressor. Putin. So why don't you just have a ceasefire and stop killing people and then negotiate about either a Russian withdrawal, which isn't going to happen, unless you have more wearable or just have a marginal line fortified line there. And then you supply Ukraine, you being the West, so that Putin, when he tries it again, and he will, will be defeated, he won't be able to go further. The reason he went where he is is that they were not prepared. And that's all Trump is saying. And they are getting furious. And the post is getting furious. But it's a really weird world in which Europe says to us, we have Muslim minorities, basically, and they're 16 to 30% of the population. And we're just not in the position to side with our natal protector when it's trying to protect us and them from Iranian missiles. So we're not going to get into your illegal war, as they called it. And we're going to go a little further. We're going to say, get out of our territory. Do not get in it. Do not land on our bases. And Trump is saying, "Okay, I warned you. Now you're saying to me, this is an existential threat. We're on armed. You have to come over here. And you have to keep doing it." And Trump says, "Maybe not." That's the problem. And there is also another subtext. He really believes that China is the existential threat. And he's read Henry Kissinger and his advisors do. And one of the ways we won the Cold War is we split the two communist parties and played off one against the other. Nixon went to China. Then he went to Russia then back and forth. And Trump wants to do the same thing. And he wants the third second thing that people are not talking about. Russia is supplying Iran across the Caspian Sea and on free highways. and through Russian former provinces and by rail and they're giving them intelligence like China and he wants at the stop and he wants to say I only have one war to worry about right now we stopped the Ukraine war we have a ceasefire we only have the Rand War and now Russia has promised not to interfere and that's that's what he's trying to do. Did he do it a droidly with diplomaties? No, should he said I believe that every government that we defend in the name of Western civilization should be democratic and you're not democratic Mr. Zlonsky anymore but it won't hurt you all you have to do is incorporate and have a war cabinet and have a transparent society and look toward history or look toward Israel and you'll find a solution. And that's all I'm going to say about that the quote for us well Victor we're going to look next at Europe on a macro and micro level as a as through the lens of view and Thomas Hobbes but first to not only in France Belgium and Italy and now Albania also and they're being called student riots and French they're being called outside France French riot French yeah I'm sure many people who watch this show listen have seen the videos of the of the limos is a town hall about 150 years old burned this weekend a Donald Trump has weighed in he's urged France to close its borders he is called France ungovernable and the riots apocalyptic the police have said in these cities they're they're out manned so hundreds of thousands of protesters I don't think they should be called protesters criminals taking to the streets of all the major cities you're and then we're going to talk about a particular case but Victor your thoughts it is kind of our wellian isn't it that you bring in millions of people many of them illegally you allow and then 45% of your budget is social welfare and you're up to 125% GDP and debt and you're giving people cradle to grave social support the unemployment rate of new immigrants is almost 50% and with all that life is heaven in France compared to Somalia the Sudan Libya Algeria Morocco Syria Afghanistan etc. and then you start to riot in league with students who are I guess upset about shoddy conditions in their high schools are all that and then you get socialist fanning and on and there's allegations are Chinese money involved so you're destroying this place and your guest in this country even maybe your second generation some of them but compared to where you came from it's still heaven and your attitude toward your host that welcomed you in is not magnetic it's contempt and so the host is getting very angry and they are deliberately targeting iconic buildings they went after a 19th century government building that was a historical monument in one French city there was a really disturbing scene in Milan where they were very close to the normal that historic Christian church and there were flames and everything and when you're at 16% 10% 30% in Sweden maybe then you start to see things and one of the things you start to see is that these NATO countries will not support the United States and not even allow us to use their air space because we are at war with the Muslim nation and that resonates and even though they say we are the avatars of democracy and we support democracy and then there's this little democracy in the Middle East and they never miss an occasion to damn Israel and their boycotting parts of produce and goods that are supposedly on outside the 1947 or '48 borders and they're siding with these radical Palestinians remember Europeans you in the UN and the Bush administration said Hamas we're going to have we're going to get all the Jews out of Gaza and you can have an election and they had an election there were no Jews in 2005 and what did they do they threw all their opponents off high rises and killed them the Palestinian Authority rivals and then for nearly 18 years they didn't build anything for 40 million billion billion in for an aid from you in the United States they built 350 miles of tunnels and then they hid there why their civilians were used as shields and then they slaughtered 1,200 Jews that's their experiment with democracy and you side with that over a free society in Israel and so that's their problem and it doesn't do them any good Jack because they're so paranoid about these unassumulated unintegrated populations that they turn on their protector the United States the only reason they said you can't land here was Iran told them that we were going to go after you and they did they did go at the RAF base RAF base in UK and so they're so scared of their own population that are Muslim and they get to get well if we hope the United States they Muslims they may be mad at us and they may they may write well they're going to write anyway what good did that do to offend the United States and say you can't use our airspace you can't land in Sicily you can't land in Spain now Muslim populations see what we did for you and they said no that's not on our agenda just you know helping Iran out we're going to take over the country because you don't want it or you can't defend it or you don't deserve it and we're taking it over and that's their attitude they don't get it Bruce Thornton in 2007 he wrote a book called Rise and Fall the Slow Motion Suicide of Europe and Roger Campbell published it at Encounter it was a great book it predated Douglas Murray's book of nearly the same title by 15 years and he said in the book as Mark signed it in his if demography continues as it does if immigration continues as it does as politics continue as it does within 20 years Europe will be unrecognizable and it pretty much was a prescient prediction well here's a case victor of what why should Europe be saved when Europeans are acting in this fashion so this is the microversion Thomas Hobbes it's one it's an anecdote but I think it's an important one is India Bellem Onium Contra Omnus the war of everybody against everybody yeah well here's one everybody who's a dirt bag this is from the mirror London rapist who killed police officer world cup fanzone gets one year in prison Here's a story, bear with me folks, convicted rapists who punched and killed the police officer at a World Cup fan zone has been jailed for just one year. Father of two Christian Zedig, 32, was off duty and had gone to watch the match between Norway and Ivory Coast on a giant screen on June 30th in Copenhagen, Denmark. When a fight broke out, he intervened and in the ensuing chaos was struck in the throat when police arrived. Found Christian with life threatening injuries as the bloke ruptured his artery. He died in July 30th at the hospital. Nikumba Ludovic Tashambay surrendered to police and was remanded and custody, but initially denied wrongdoing. He pled guilty eventually at an assault trial this week. At the end of the trial, he was sentenced to just one year in prison and he was also ordered to pay some damages to the wife and the daughter of this, the slain police officer. Get this. Shambay was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2017 for attempted murder after stamping a man in the heart at a nightclub before that he had been convicted of rape. So this is who lives and breathes and destroys on the streets of Europe and justice does not come. Did you see that interview with the editor in chief of the economist with, I think her name is Alice Videl. She's the head of the AFD in Germany alternative for Deutschland. And they were talking, they were talking about this issue, what you're talking about. And she was trying to get scare quotes that Ms. Videl had said are her co-chair. I think his name was trip through a pool or something had said. And it was, you say that these people who commit crimes are not wanted in Germany, yes. And you say, if they are citizens, we can denaturalize them or if they're illegal, we can send the back. Yes, of course. Why would we do that? Why wouldn't we? We gave them opportunities and then they broke the law. They broke, if they broke the law and coming here, they'll have to go home. If they broke the law once they were being citizens, they're no longer citizens. We can denaturalize them. We can't afford this. But she was just very calm and you should have seen that the interviewer, she was astounded, how can any European say this. But what I'm getting at is that the stories like that, they're not forgotten. They're all memory bank in the collective memory of 450 million Europeans and it's getting to a breaking point. I think it's kind of getting here in the United States, you know, there was a story about the New York Fashion Institute where two girls wanted to get some drug, I think cocaine and they called up somebody and he came with the intent of basically killing them and had pure fentanyl. You know, she read about that and he gave them fentanyl and one of the girls went immediately into a coma. She died, both of them died and she was completely naked and he sexually assaulted her and there was another story in Boston where I think the person was in law enforcement and he was in law enforcement barracks and they found a naked girl walking across the street and he had enticed her to come in and physically assaulted and rape her. But the point is that that person had a long like this person and this is in the United States had a long criminal record and the other one, even though he was 19, I think he had a record. And we've had a lot of these sensational cases in California recently of sexual assault, pedophilia, fentanyl by illegal immigrants and they all have prior records. And so you have to ask yourself, this is a Western disease and it's sort of we're affluent in leisure at the end of history, we solved all the problems, we have our iPhones, our iPads, we got our Teslas, we got everything we want and now we're at the point where we can afford, we can afford, we can afford to feel magnanimous. Now maybe the poor cat, maybe the middle class cat because they're on the front lines of what we create because we create chaos with our ideas and then we treat back to minimal park or procedural heights or Malibu and then we're safe. We have our security, we have our money and we have our nice zip codes and we have private schools for our kids. But the theories that we advance about revolving door criminality, no bail and decriminalizing theft, letting murders out, that will fall on people that unfortunately we don't really care about and that's true in Europe and the United States, it's the same thing, the only good thing about this horrific thing that's happening is that we still have almost three weeks to look at what's going on in Europe and we should say what is going on in Europe is about a year and a half of what's going on here and we've already seen some of it on the campuses of Colombia. That's down for crashing the president's office in Philadelphia, chasing Jews into a library in, at Harvard, roughing up somebody and then getting an award at graduation even though you roughed him up and George Floyd, you know, 14,000 arrests, 35 people killed, 2 billion and damages, arson, da-da-da-da-da, and you should vote against that and there's another thing to remember and I'll shut up. These people always during the time, how do they get elected? What they get elected by saying things that they didn't say before they ran for office and they won't say after they're elected, whether it's Talleriko here or El Saeed or Millet Curels, why is it that, take a guy like Paxton, he's got a long record that he is a shame dog, he should be in some cases. Does he ever say, I didn't say that? No, he just lives with it and it's authentic, does Trump ever say, well, I kind of spoke out of turn and I really didn't mean that about Zelensky that we need a new president, no. Whatever he is, he is. But why is it that all of these candidates, Talleriko, El Saeed and people who were elected and mandami, why do they all in Europe and in here, they cleanse, they purify, they excise their entire social media, full of quotations. He's the only one that says, well, no, I take that back, he's now contextualizing his things that we deserve September 11th and I hate the United States. He said that was rhetorical. Why is it El Saeed trying to get angry when you say, he said, hurt people, hurt people after people tried to kill Jews in a synagogue or why does he say that's irrelevant, don't bring that up. I was just talking on a hot mic when I said that my constituents might be happy, are basically happy to hear the news of the Iranian terrorist leader, supreme leader. Our whiteist Talleriko said, I didn't really mean that people with white skin are spreading a white skin virus, I didn't mean that. Or why does mandami say, well, I really didn't mean I want to go after white or neighborhoods. Or why does his housing head, I think, CEO Weaver? Now, I really didn't mean that when I said, home ownership is a form of white supremacy. But my point is the left always has to hide what they are because if they told you what they are, nobody would ever want them. And that's what we should remember when we go into this election. What you're seeing in Europe is what you're going to get here, but they're not going to tell you that. They're going to, if you hate beef and you hate fossil fuels, you'll be like Talleriko and put a cowboy hat on and said, and be pictured in a ram with a ram truck with a cowboy hat and eat in a hamburger for a while, and then it will vanish when you're in power. So this unrest in Europe is should be very didactic. It should really give us a glimpse of the future here if we continue down this path. Well, Victor, we're going to take a quick little break and when we come back one final topic, and that will be about one of your favorite people ever, Barack Obama. And we'll do that. We'll come back from these final important. You're picking on my friend, Barack, you're picking on that. Many Americans are going to have a big wake, Uncle. We have never seen that migration as high as we can. as it has been in the last few years. This year, there have been more people coming to the UK in small boats than ever before. You did an extreme thing to the country. Britain is facing a migrant prime epidemic. We don't actually know where they're coming from, who they are, how old they are. Why would you let in millions of people who are indebted if not to change the country from within? There is no other word for it, demographic replacement. England's a blue thing for America, it's coming. It's just a blue thing. Thousands of daily migrant crossings. A political earthquake threatens to reshape America. We are showing there is a new path for politics in our country. No old cultures are the same. You cannot, that's shitty out. America is a nation of information. We are a nation of immigrants. We're a nation of immigrants. The immigration crisis. Watch now on the Heritage Foundations YouTube channel. We are back with Victor Davis Hansen in his own words recording on Sunday, October 18th, 2026. This episode is up on Tuesday, October 20th. I did want to recommend folks to watch two things. Victor had a great interview with Shelby and Eli Steele about their new documentary, White Guilt. The second thing is they should watch White Guilt. I watched it this weekend with my wife. It's on, if you have Amazon Prime, you can watch it there. There are other platforms. It is so instructive as to everything you've just been talking about. Victor and Madning, so it's educational. It's challenging in a way because what's going to come down at the end of the day for all of us and our children is courage. Courage to stand up for freedom. And it was very, it's a very good insight. They analyzed all of these pathologies and they came down with a universal exegesis. It's affluent Western white people who they performance art their virtue. They're feeling so guilty about their privilege and being the wealthiest, most affluent and leisure people in the world that they want to damn their own culture. I don't mean that in the majority of our obscene sense. And they want to slander and smear their forefathers who gave them their bounty. So all of the so-called white people, whether it's the right brothers or Edison or Alexander Graham Bell or the founders or William DeCumstich, they will find something in their background that nullifies everything about them and they're inegative. And that's because they're guilty. And it's not reciprocal. So if you think that Martin Luther King Jr. was a great person and I do, if you think he helped racial relations in a way that Stokey Carmichael or Rapp Brown or the Black Panthers did not, I do. But I don't do what white guilt people do or the D.I. people. I don't say, well, he was a good guy, but he plagiarized his thesis. He was an intellectual thief. He completely plagiarized it. And he was an inveterate womanizer. In Ralph Abernathy wrote a biography in which, and I think it was in, it's been now recorded by historians of Martin Luther King that he was in a hotel room where he egged on and watched another member of his entourage, sexually assault a woman as if it was support. And so his personal flaws, like FDR's flaws, like everybody's flaws, don't negate his achievement, but they do when you're guilty. So with white people, if Earl Warren, who was, I disagreed with his jurisprudence, but he was a great man, if he was Attorney General of California, and he signed off on a plan to inter the Japanese, which was in stake, then you take his name off. The Earl Warren Law School at Bull Hall, and you take Bull Loft too at UC Berkeley. I don't like Woodville Wilson, but if you're a progressive, he's an icon. 14 points per side treaty, which was a disaster in my view, but I can understand that he was, I think he was a racist, but they took his name off the Woodville Wilson School, but they don't apply, the left does not apply the same thing to their own. That's what I'm trying to say. They never do, and that's the problem. Do you want to talk about a leftist? Yes, I do. Let's talk about Barack Obama. Barack Obama was in Ireland, and he went on the attack of Israel. And if he was going to go to a European country and attack Israel, Ireland or Norway would have been the ideal place. Ireland, Ireland, Ireland. Yeah, so here's what he said. They took land off people, and they were expelled, and those people understandably said, "This is injustice, and I want my land back." He also accused Israel of seeding moral ground by its conduct in the war against Hamas and Gaza. If the attitude of Israel is, now that we are the strongest, the most technologically advanced in the region, then our security will depend on us simply doing whatever we need when taking whatever we want and not making any concessions to anyone that may work short-term. Obama said, "I can't stand this man." Your thoughts? Now, it's an insight into the Iraq war, because it really tells us why he signed out a Rand deal when he knew that within seven or eight years they were going to have a bomb, and we know now they cheated on all the elements and that they had missiles they didn't disclose, and then the amount of already enriched uranium they didn't disclose. But he had a vision for the Middle East that he was going to empower the Shia and Iran in particular, and he was going to reinforce a crescent from Iran to Syria, to Lebanon, to Hezbollah, and that was going to balance the Gulf states which he loathed, and he loathed Israel. And then every once in a while they were going to call up and say, "God, we're near a war." "Well, I'll be able to, you know, folks, you gotta get along, and I'll fly over there and get myself another Nobel Prize, or maybe I'll send John Kerry." How's that? That was his whole Middle East policy. It was community organizing. He never didn't, you know. When Julie, I think it was Giuliani's said in that convention, what is a community organizer? Or somebody said that. Maybe it was 2012 he said that at the convention. Nobody knew what he did, but that's how he ran his whole present. He was also a coward. So why is he saying this now? Why didn't you say it earlier when before the socialist democratic Islamists take over of the left? Why didn't he do that, say, three years ago? Why didn't he do it in his first term? I mean, he did things, but why doesn't he just say they stole the land? Because he sees a wave, just like Kamala Harris is now scrambling to get on it. And it's so historically illiterate. There had been Jews there for 3,500 years. The Arabs came around the seventh century, and they took land, stole land, took land, appropriated it from whom? The Byzantine Romans, and they held it. And there was always a Jewish community. It was small, but after the Holocaust, people came in. Did they steal land? They started buying it. And any person who sold it at three times the price it was worth was usually ostracized in some cases killed for selling land. And if he said they took the land and expelled people, let me ask you a question, Barack, because you're a constitutional lawyer. What was the population of the Arab community when Israel was founded inside Israel? It was 200,000. It was about 18%. What is the population today? It's 2 million. It's 21%. So, Barack, if you take people and you kick them out, then how in the world are they 10 times more numerous than they were? Barack, what was the population of Gaza when the last Jew left in 2005? It's about 1.4 million. 1.3 million. What was the population? 2023 when people, 6,000 Gazans in a time of peace, broke out, snuck out, whatever attacked Israel, and butchered 1200 people, tortured them, mutilated them, and took back to 151. It was about 2.3 million. So, how did the population double when the Israeli agenda, according to you, is to expel people and take their land? I just like to know. Tell me how that works. How about the Jews expelled from various nations? One million. One, that's a good point. So, after the 47 and 56, they were expelling them, but especially after the humiliation of the 67 war. And that's well documented by Michael Wolf. Warren and Six Days of War, and books on the Yom Kipper War. But basically by the time of 1980, one million Jews who had lived in Cairo, Damascus, Baghdad, Beirut, Aman had al-Jir, yes, and Trip, even Tripoli. They all were gone. They were all ethnically cleansed, and they had nowhere to go. When you hear, as I heard, people at Stanford say, "Go back to Poland," and that was what Helen Thomas remembers. She said that. She was a press secretary. She was Lebanese, I think, or at least an Arab Muslim. She was Lebanese, yes. Go back. That's just a nice way, or euphemism, for saying, "Go back to the death count and get the gas." He knows all this, and his problem, Jack, is that he wanted to be a radical, what we see now, a democratic Islamist socialist. He didn't credit him, and he said, "We're not exception only more than the Greeks." My mom's a typical white person, and he got to share the wealth, and Tripoli looks like the son I never had. I could go on all day about this, but he did start this. He started D.I, but he never had the ambition or the energy or the daring to fulfill it. Then he said, when he was asked what he wanted to third term, he said, "Yeah, I'd take a third term. If I can stay in, basically, in my basement, his gym, and just call it in, I have to wear a tie and meet people." That was a projection of what he actually did, because his forces basically got Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders, and Spartacus, and all the butt-a-jig. They all promised some things, and they got out. They appointed Joe Biden. They knew he was non-composmentas, and for four years, they stocked that cabinet with the Obama's people, and they made the most left-wing appointments, all these judges, and all these panels and bureaucrats, and they pushed the open border in New York. All these people were Obama people. That's what he got, but he didn't really get credit for it. Now, the party has moved so far left that he wants to be, it's like a wave, and he wants to be the surfer at the crest, but he's way back, and he's tumbled and he's in nobody, and everybody's, I mean, look where he is right now. He's built an $850 million flat tower. It is the ugliest thing that you've ever seen. He destroyed a 20-acre park for his ego, and it's broke, and nobody wants to give him many more money, and his own African-American constituents say that he's stiffed them. He didn't pay them, and the employees there say that he's stiffed them. They want to quit, and every time he flies out of one of his four mansions and starts lecturing people, they get angry at him, because it's all that sanctimonious, "I'm Barack Obama, ha-ha-ha." So he's really diminished to nothing. I can say that he will be beloved for doing nothing by historians, and Donald Trump will be hated by changing the entire course of the United States, and probably all of Western Hemisphere, and probably the Middle East, and restructuring NATO, but he will be hated for it, and Obama will be beloved because of this, well, this was a long circumlocution for white guilt. White guilt, absolutely. He gave me the opportunity, because I voted for him to show that, therefore, I am not a racist. The end. This house, this house does not tolerate racism, and then Obama's, gosh, when he was running in 2008, I would ride my bicycle through the Stanford faculty ghetto. I would, I swear, Jack, it was every single house had an Obama sign in it, and you would think they always wanted a rhino Republican, and they all loved John McCain when Bush was present. All the left said, they would just listen to John McCain, John McCain. He's a moderate, and John McCain, you know, in that talk show guy said, "Welcome, the next president, John McCain, who will defeat Barack, who's saying Obama?" And the first thing he said, "I don't tolerate that. We don't do that in my campaign. We never say that, don't stop it." And they hated him more for doing that. That's awesome. I think he got, didn't he get a Kennedy Profile Encourage Award? Yes, he did. I think he did. I mean, also, you know, after they are. They turned his funeral into a Trump bashing, says, "Remember, we were talking about everything from the racist filibuster to bringing in new states, Obama did." Oh, he did that with another funeral too. Gosh. Well, anyway, Victor, we've come to about the end of our program. We will do the usual things we do at the end. I have a couple of comments here on thousands that people have sent in this past week. And to relate, the first two here relate to your interview with Shelby and Eli Steele. Gary Harrell writes, "Three of my favorite people. Thank you for this reading, white guilt, changed my life, and continuing to follow what you three say right and publish a produce keeps me hopeful." By the way, I am not guilty. Question, question everything, two five, two two rights. Thank you, Shelby, Eli, and Victor. I'm a great grandmother, and I remember back in 2000 when we were not obsessed with race. For 60 years, we've poured billions of dollars into everything black. I'm done. It seems, in my community, everyone is so divided, they barely make eye contact. This recent insanity started with Obama, but then in 2020, they went over a cliff. Life is too short to keep rehashing what was a lie to begin with. I'm really worried. I agree. I live in a mostly Hispanic neighborhood, and I, because of the, inordinate black crime, and because of the demands for reparations, and in California that was never a slave state, and 27% of the population was not born in the United States, and the idea that your, that whole state is bankrupt, and you're going to spend millions just to explore, giving, giving billions to people who weren't slaves, from people who never own slaves. To address something 161 years ago when slavery was legal in some states, and nationwide, 1.4% of the entire population. That's all that own slaves, North and South combined population, and you fought a war where 700,000 people got killed to end it, and you've spent, according to most heritage and other think tanks, I think even the Brookings would admit, somewhere between 20 and 30 trillion dollars in reputory programs, whether it's affirmative action, or EOC, or housing, all this, and it doesn't have any effect. If you say to somebody, why don't, why don't black leaders just try to see, instead of just always saying white racism, why don't we all get together and see if we can get the black crime rate down to what other groups crime rate is, and maybe we can get the abortion rate down, and maybe we can get the divorce rate, and the single family down, tell us what you need, but they don't, at least the people who do, and there are, I shouldn't say that there are a lot of really brilliant black leaders who are, you know, who have the pathway to solve the problem, but they're a vile, and so when that person says, I've had it, I'm hearing I had it, but it's not from white people, it's a lot from Hispanic people, and that's what I'm worried about, I don't think that the black leadership realizes that when you have these sensational crimes, again and again and again, and the statistics, even when the blue states don't report their statistics to the FBI, or even if Bart doesn't show their videos to the public, all the efforts to disguise the fact is not working, people are terrified of the rise in black crime, as the crime is still going down, and there's no talk about it, and they're tired of the idea that we're going to adjudicate admissions, dorms, graduation, hiring by your superficial parents, and it's just fatigue, they're just done with it. You know, Victor, I saw somebody, and I think it was in North Carolina, went through the arrest records in the state, and so many obvious black guys are listed as white, so I know I know it's like I know there's a real perverse. It's one thing to be perverse and we're not going to say give you the particulars of who committed the crime. It's another thing then to distort the public record to say a black guy is a white guy, so you can watch, you can fudge with the figures of what demographic is most involved in criminal activity. It is. I mean, if you really believe white supremacy and white privilege and white this, then one of the things you would see is when that was true in the South. But what you see is the opposite. If you look at the demographics of those people and it's hard to say who's white and not white or who's Hispanic and not given inner marriage and people who don't, you know, there's a lot of people that I know who are Hispanic and on the census and everything, they say they're white and when I see them in the food market or I talk to them, they're wider than I am, right? They are. And so it's just that this whole idea of white is kind of a joke anyway. We can't really define it, but to the degree you think you can, when you look at this is the percentage of the population and who or what's the percentage not of crime victims, but of crime victims that involve what the left calls a hate crime. So-called white people are overrepresented. When you look at the perpetrators of hate crimes, remember, we have a lot of people who refuse to turn in the statistics of the FBI. White people are underrepresented as a demographic. So you keep telling the American people, white people are very dangerous and are mean and they're killing people and then you look at the statistics and they are the victims, not the victimizers as far as hate crimes go. And no one talks about it at all. But the people know that and they're getting very cynical. So when they see a violent crime, if they feel that the suspect is going to be mentioned by race, they assume it's white and they're right. And that the suspect is not, the race is not mentioned. They feel it's a white guilt editor doing his part to feel for the cause. And the result of that is not true. It's a war against the truth. Right. Your ultimate alliance has to be to the truth whether you like it or not. So that's I'm very worried about the relations because I see people self-segregating. I really do. Summary:

for failing to address existential threats like Russia’s war in Ukraine, while also highlighting the hypocrisy of European nations that condemn Israel while harboring radical Palestinian ideologies. He links these developments to the rise of political figures like Barack Obama, whose rhetoric against Israel exposed a pattern of ideological opportunism and historical ignorance. S.

will face if it continues down a path of moral complacency, political erosion, and cultural self-destruction. The future of freedom depends on courage, accountability, and a return to traditional values.

FAQs

Victor expresses concern that large-scale immigration, especially of undocumented people, leads to high levels of social welfare spending, which can strain the economy and lead to societal unrest. He warns that such policies create a cycle of dependency and resentment, where immigrants and their descendants are given 'cradle to grave' support, leading to social instability and a breakdown of trust with the host country.

Victor argues that Europe's open immigration policies have led to demographic shifts and social tensions, with rising crime, poor integration, and political extremism. He points to riots, attacks on historical monuments, and a lack of accountability as signs of systemic failure, warning that similar unrest is likely to occur in the U.S. if current trends continue.

Victor criticizes Europe's lenient approach to crime, citing cases like a rapist sentenced to only one year in prison despite previous convictions. He argues that such leniency enables a culture of impunity and that Western societies are failing to uphold justice, especially when crimes are committed by marginalized or immigrant populations.

Victor argues that the 'white guilt' movement falsely accuses white historical figures of wrongdoing to justify dismantling their legacy. He points out that the left applies selective criticism to figures like Martin Luther King or Woodrow Wilson, while ignoring their own problematic pasts, and claims this reflects guilt-based identity politics rather than objective evaluation.

Victor challenges Obama's claims about land theft and Israel's conduct in Gaza, noting that Arab populations in Israel have grown significantly over time. He argues that such statements are historically inaccurate and politically motivated, reflecting a broader left-wing bias against Israel and the Jewish state.

Victor observes that political figures on the left often remove or sanitize their past statements after being elected, claiming they didn't mean what they said before. He sees this as a strategy of self-censorship and political survival, revealing a deeper pattern of hypocrisy and dishonesty in modern politics.
