The action starts out around 5 a.m. when the moon and Leo forms square with Uranus and Taurus. This is going to bring some sort of sudden surprise to our day, a shift of energy, a big emotional release, a revelation, insight, the encouragement to take a risk, or maybe you're having trouble sleeping and you just wake up early. I'm going to be honest, if you're like, why does her voice sound so depressed? It's because I am. I am recording these episodes early and I'm trying to get through these episodes early for a couple of reasons. The first is my sister is in the hospital and it's pretty serious and I am just having a lot of trouble with that. She has doubled pneumonia and she has pancreatitis. She is also disabled and has a lot of issues with her lungs. Anyone who knows me knows that. My sister is the light of my life and very, very close with her. This isn't the first time that this has happened for her when she gets pneumonia. It's very serious. I can't tell you how many times she's been put on life support and how many times my family has been told we need to say goodbye. Yeah, I am struggling and I'm going to get through your horoscopes. I love staying committed to this practice and it does bring me joy and it's important to me. I'm going to be recording your horoscopes but they're not going to have as much commentary on what's going on in the world. My emotional capacity and my focus is just a little off right now and that's okay. So I'm going to strictly focus on the astrology for this batch of horoscopes that I'm recording. I'm recording them on December 23rd but this is obviously the horoscope for the second week of January. So just a little insight there into what's going on in my personal life. Okay, back to your horoscopes. So at 8.30 a.m, Venus and Capricorn is going to form a conjunction with the Sun and Capricorn. This is taking place at 16 degrees. If you have any planets or placements around 16 degrees, you will be the main characters, especially of Cardinal Science, Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn. When Venus and the Sun come together, it is called a Kazimi which is an Arabic word for in the heart of, this is a moment of rebirth and renewal. So there could be some sort of important Venusian development in your life, whether that has to do with an important relationship, a creative project, a contract, your personal values or even finances. This can feel like a moment of illumination, an important development, an important decision, regarding all of those topics in your life. And later on around 9 a.m, the moon will enter Virgo. It is going to be void for most of the day. It doesn't make a connection with another planet until the early hours of tomorrow morning. So just keep in mind it might be a little harder for us to focus. As the moon wanders aimlessly throughout the sky, it might also be just a little harder to focus.
