Unboxing Andrew Tate's Arrest | Joe DeRosa Vile and Horrendous
39m 9s
Joe DeRosa hosts a lively, humorous unboxing and talk segment featuring multiple product reveals and current events. He announces the Netflix premiere of his special show *I Never Promised You a Rose Garden* on August 6th, celebrating his birthday. The episode includes unboxing a vintage 1933 *Alice in Wonderland* film, lauding its strange and unsettling visuals, and a comprehensive 4K box set of the Christopher Reeve Superman films, highlighting both the original and Richard Donner-revised versions of *Superman II*. He also receives a rare, limited-edition Universal Monsters collection with 45 remastered classic horror films, art cards, and a detailed book, which he calls a collector’s treasure. The segment is interwoven with satirical commentary on controversial headlines, such as the arrest of Andrew and Tristan Tate on human trafficking charges and a viral story of a man trapped in a porta-potty retrieving a Mountain Dew bottle. DeRosa critiques media sensationalism and factual inaccuracies in news reporting, emphasizing the need for transparency. The episode concludes with a list of upcoming tour dates and a recurring comedic chant, "Let’s run this game all the way down," reinforcing the show’s chaotic, irreverent tone.

So there it is. I never promised you a rose garden, on Netflix, August 6th, my birthday, check it out, make it work so I can finally feel fulfilled as a human being and now I present to you the latest episode of Vile and Herandus. Welcome to the Vile and Herandus program. I am your host, The Vile and Herandus, Joe DeRosa. Oh boy, first meal of the day, barbecue beef, stick, black coffee. What do you think that bathroom is going to look like later? Oh God. Yeah, yeah. We just changed the toilet paper so you get, though. Oh, I won't do it here. I'll do it, I'll do it at home like a dirty little secret. I got meat stuck in my tooth. Ah, yeah, yeah. That's something I've said many times in a bathroom as well. You know, folks, it's good to be back here with all of you. It's a beautiful day here in Austin, Texas. It's about 111 degrees, something like that. Today we're inside, we're in the dark, we're cool, we're collected. And we're just, we're just living a hot girl summer, whatever the fuck that means. Anyway, folks, let's get into it. First segment, the new segment, PSA, here we go. I paid a woman to steam my Gucci and honestly, best decision of the summer. And I've been to Paris twice this year. Before you call the authorities, this is ancient Korean women, Mayan healers, African queens, centuries of women steaming while you're out there neglecting the most important real estate that you own. This was warm herbs, total silence, full reset. I can't wait for my date to ask me what I did today. There you have it folks. Now I know the video is dripping with privilege. She's talking about how she went to Paris twice this summer and is steaming her vagina. I promise you something only the privilege to do. And so this woman would go, no, it's an ancient, yeah, okay, I'm sure it is. I'm sure it is an ancient practice, which is probably why they don't do it anymore. But apparently it's very important. So there you have it folks, steam your cooter. Can men steam their nuts? Sure. Anything's possible when you're a man, everything's possible. In the land of opportunity, I'm sorry ladies, I don't want to appropriate, I want you to have your thing. Yeah, it's not going to have the same effect. But God, what could possibly be the effect that it has? All I'm, look, I'm not trying to be crisp. All I'm picturing is it would contribute to a very loosening of the area, which is not what anybody wants. It's more like a fumigation. Oh God. Oh Jesus God. All right, let's get off of this before. I make ten of the most immature jokes I've ever thought of. So there you go. It's an area that apparently needs fumigating. That's why it's a PSA. Fumigate that, steam it, Stanley steamer, don't do the Stanley steamer. Go to, for God's sakes, if you're going to do it, go to a professional. All right, time for an unboxing. Do we have a graphic for unboxing? We do not. Well, fucking put one together. You got it. And shove it up your ass. Yes, okay. Okay, here we go. We got an unboxing. An unboxing. Well, this is on bagging. That's a bag. Give us some more of that ASMR you were doing. Or what? Give us some more of that ASMR. Is that the noise? Oh yeah. This is what the people want. I don't know if that -- I don't know if it's going to go crazy for that. And look, I know this is Prime Amazon. Trust me people. I greatly support the independent studios that are putting out these products all the time. But sometimes Prime has great deals on some stuff and I grab it there too. And sometimes it's the only place you can get certain things. This actually -- oh, this actually is from Keno Loerber -- I actually do wish I had purchased this directly from them. I didn't -- but it doesn't mean they don't get a cut of it, obviously. They're still selling it on Amazon. But man, this was one of my Amazon Prime Day deals and it was a movie that I'd been thinking about buying for quite some time and I never purchased it. Why I never purchased it well, this is Alice in Wonderland, the 1933 version, starring an astounding cast of celebrities from that period, including Carrie Grant, Gary Cooper, W.C. Fields. I was drawn to it initially because of W.C. Fields. I'm a big W.C. Fields fan and one day I went digging to see, you know, what has he been in that I haven't seen, lo and behold, I -- Alice in Wonderland, that's weird. And then I found, well, there's this weird 1933 version that, as I continued to read about it, I wanted it even more and I was dying to see it because this movie -- actually, yeah, it bombed at the box office because parents thought it looked too horrifying to bring children to. I don't know if we can pull up anymore stills of this, but pull up like, yeah, any stills you can of any of the characters, this is nothing compared to some of the other shit. Yeah, look at that. Oh my God. Oh, it's so freaky. By the way, Alice is 43 years old in this movie. Pull up Tweedle D and Tweedle dumb if you can. They look crazy and then Humpty Dumpty also looks really nuts. That's like -- I think that's the queen. Anyway, they've all got these weird bloated faces with -- or bloated heads with tiny faces. It's very odd. Look, she's holding that baby and that's clearly not a baby, right? That's clearly like a sort of like a three-year-old -- or maybe a little person -- or -- I don't know. It's a very, very -- anyway, I was like -- I got it -- look at that. Oh, God, it's so creepy looking, right? I wish I still smoked weed. Yeah, this is going to be a lot of fun to watch, I think, hopefully. Anyway, that's the first thing that I got here. I am excited about it. Let's move on to our second Amazon box. This was also a Prime Day deal. Here's how I get the box open. Ready? My punch in the middle. Ow, it's not working. I got it. It worked. This is -- I think I know what it is. Oh, yes, it is. I can tell. I can tell by the thickness of it, which is another thing I say in bathrooms. Big bathroom day today. I'm going to consolidate my garbage here. Okay. Well, I'm very excited about this. Man, I have wanted this forever. This was an upgrade I needed to get. Finally, went on sale. This is the 4K box set.
of the Christopher Reeve Superman movies. This includes five films, Superman one, Superman two, Superman two, The Richard Donner Cut, Superman three, and Superman four. Superman one is obviously the masterpiece. Superman two is usually the fan favorite of the franchise. I love that you get both versions with this. They've been putting up both versions of Superman two for quite some time now. If you don't know, Richard Donner directed Superman and he was simultaneously also making Superman two. Production for Superman two ran longer. Donner was either fired or he quit over disputes with the studio. They brought in a different director. I think his name was Richard Lester and Richard Lester, if that is his name, completed Superman two with a different ending and some structural differences. The weird thing is, is if you watch The Donner Cut for Superman two, it features the ending of Superman one. The ending of Superman one. This is a big spoiler alert. If you've never seen these movies. Lois basically dies and Superman is devastated and he flies around the earth against the rotation so fast that he reverses time. He makes the earth spin backwards. I just got chills, it's so awesome, it's so cool. And he can only do this once because it's like a hard and fast rule that his father gives him in the lessons that he learns from the recordings of his father growing up as he's becoming Superman. You're not there to interfere with their fate, like you're there to help them, but you can't basically change the outcome of things. And so he kind of breaks this rule, he does break the rule because it's for the love of his life, it's for Lois Lane. Oh God, it brings a tear to your eye. Folks, here to talk about one of our sponsors, Mars Men, hear me out. The older I get, the more I find myself struggling a bit to summon my inner drive, not just the obvious drive, you're thinking of with your one track minds. That's mengotomars.com for 50% off, and three free gifts when you check out plus free shipping. After you purchase, they will ask you where you heard about them, please say us. The violin horrendous show sent you. All right, that's it. Do it. Bye. Meet new grippy setting mist from Maybelline, New York. Delta mist technology locks in your look for up to 24 hours, with flexible all-day comfy grip. Just plump, dewy, hydrated skin, that still feels like your skin. Try new grippy setting mist from Maybelline, New York. Maybe it's Maybelline. Anyway, that's supposed to be the ending of Superman 2. 'Cause it's a massive ending. I mean, it's, he breaks the big rule. They make it the end of Superman 1. And that's, I guess, what Donna was disputing. Maybe that's what they disputed or whatever, but anyway, and I think at the end of two, he does it because the villains of part two are General Zod and his minions, and they come to Earth, and I believe they do so much destruction. He has to do it to restore Earth. And they change it, and in the first movie, it wasn't supposed to be the lowest died. Superman just saves her, and then they make it that she died, so he has to reverse the Earth. I think, I think that's what it is. Anyway, Superman 3, not great, but still quite fun, and still quite amazing in places. That's the one that stars Richard Pryor strangely. And Superman 4 is an outwardly bad movie, but I bet you it's a hell of a lot of fun in 4K and looks pretty sweet, so there you have it. That's your goddamn Superman collection right there. It does not include, which is part of the canon, Superman Returns, but who cares? Superman Returns, even though I'm a big fan of Brandon Routh, Superman Returns is not a good movie. It's got a few cool moments, but it's not a movie I ever, ever, ever feel the need to sit down and rewatch. Plus, it was directed by Brian Singer, problem. And Kevin Spacey stars, stars as Lex Luthor in that version, and depending on where you stand, that might be a problem for you. Anyway, all right, last but not least, this is, this was a gift. This was sent to me by a company called Umbrella. Umbrella is an Australian company that, you know, they're one of these studios that remasters and puts out Blu-rays and 4Ks and box sets of classic stuff and cult stuff or whatever. Why did they send this to me? Because Patton Oswalt, name drop. Put name drop on the screen. Name drop. Patton Oswalt, old friend of mine. Patton Oswalt sent me this, incredibly kind. It has been killing me not to open it, 'cause I knew what it was when I got the box, but I was like, no, I want to save it in a box on the show. I want to give it, holy shit, this is so heavy. This is incredible, this box set is incredible. I've only seen pictures of it. I already know how great it is. Whew, ooh, my heart is racing right now. Okay, Patton, thank you. Amazing, amazing to finally have my hands on this thing. Okay, this is the Universal Pictures, Monsters, and Curiosity's collection. Unbelievable, back of the box, Madman, Monsters, Mutants, and more all rise from the Universal Vaults. People, there were only 2,000 of these made. This is number 481 out of 2,000. God, Patton, that is so cool that you got me one of these because this is the kind of thing that goes fast. This is the kind of thing you almost don't want to open it because you know the value will accrue. This will be a collector's item. But if you're a collector, you open it. Of course, why? 'Cause you have to dig into it. This is to be enjoyed, not to be marvel. This is, this is, oh my God. I can't wait to get this open and watch this stuff. This has, I think it's, does it, can you go to the website? 'Cause the back doesn't give, can you, can you just, where it says like the details? 'Cause I have the film list here, but I wanna know how many movies it is total without having to count all of them right now. - Looks like 45? Okay, this contains 45 movies. Remastered, no, no, bring that list back. Remastered for Blu-ray. It is in a custom art rigid case, as we can see here, known as a box. A 100 plus page book exploring universal monster films. And that's there, I guess that's the book, right? Where's that the book? I would imagine this is the movies, 'cause it's bigger, but anyway, what else is in here? 10 art cards, which are always cool. Art cards are like lobby cards, where it'll be like post, like, they're like postcards, but it'll be like, on the cover of the card, it'll be like, one of the posters from the movie or whatever. And limited edition, number release. What do we got on here? We got the hunchback of Notre Dame 1939, Phantom of the Opera 1925, Cat and the Canary 1927, the man who laughs, which is the character the Joker is based on.
1928, the last warning, 1928, bride of Frankenstein. A few of these I own already on either 4K or Blu-ray, very few of them. Bride of Frankenstein, of course, is one. Son of Frankenstein, I think I have. House of Frankenstein, I think I have. Ghost of Frankenstein, I think I have. And Frankenstein meets the wolf man I think I have. So in the middle here, they hit some of the classic, from the classic franchises of the key monsters or whatever. Most of this is not that. We're not even close to done. Then we got the invisible man returns. The invisible woman, the invisible agent. Murders in the rumor, I do own that. The black cat, the raven, the invisible ray. Black Friday, the black cat remake from '41. God damn, people think they remake shit fast now. The black cat original is '34. They remade it seven years later. Night Monster, night key, Tower of London, the strange door, the black castle. I can't tell you how many of these I've never heard of or I'm not familiar with. This is a treasure trove, the mad doctor of Market Street, the mad ghoul, house of horrors, horror island. Colt, also known as Epstein Island. Colt of Co, of the Cobra, the thing that couldn't die. Curse of the undead, the leech woman. Also known as your average woman. (laughing) Sorry, I was cheap, I'm sorry. The mystery of Edmund Trude, the climax, captive wild woman, jungle woman, the jungle captive, man-made monster. Back then, the title's really told you what you were getting. The jungle captive, what's that about? It's about a guy that gets trapped in the jungle. Monster on the campus, what's that about? Well, there's a campus, there's a monster right. Tarantula, the incredible shrinking man. Yes, yes, yes. I didn't know that was on here. That is awesome. Land unknown, the mole people, the mon with monsters, and the deadly mantis. You can even see as the titles go 'cause that's chronologically how they're listed, how horror movies develop. This is the kind of box that you really, really learn from and enjoy. Scroll back to the top of that list real quick. This is what I mean, this is like horror movies like in their earlier stages. Hunchback of Notre Dame, Phantom of the Opera. These are things based on old stories, older stories, classic literature, what have you. Cat in the canary, the man who laughs the last morning. These are sort of psychological, no, no, keep that up. Psychological, you know, stuff that messes with your brain a little bit, that sort of thing. And then it starts to get into the monsters. The invisible man, excuse me. Frankenstein meets the wolf man, the bride of Frankenstein. And then as it goes on, it starts to, you start to see later in the list when you get into more of the kind of, you know, the big giant, you know, not the monster in the cape, but, you know, or the monster outside the window, but the big giant attack of the, you know, whatever's, you know, so you got the mole people. And the monolith monsters and the deadly mantis. And it gets a little more sci-fi-driven horror. It's really interesting with a box set like this because you get to see 41 classic movies, all of them looking better than they've ever looked, I'm sure. And you also learn about the company that kind of started at all universal. This is a, this is truly a treasure trove. Thank you, Patton. Thank you, umbrella for sending it. And boy, oh boy, wow. That was a hell of an unboxing. Yeah? - I wanna watch some of those movies. - You'll never be invited. And you won't, I'd go buy it now if I were you. - No, I'm looking at the price right now. - What, don't, let's not be ghosts. Let's not say the price. - It's out of stock though. - It is already out of stock, yeah. I think it was, I think it's sold out in pre-order. Actually, I don't think it was that, for what you get, I don't think the price was that insane. And it was under 300 bucks. Meet new grippy setting mist from Maybelline New York. Gel to mist technology locks in your look for up to 24 hours with flexible all day comfy grip. Just plum, dewy, hydrated skin that still feels like your skin. Try new grippy setting mist from Maybelline New York. - Maybe it's Maybelline. - Yeah, the price isn't too bad. - Yeah, it's dude, 41 movies, let's do the math. Where was it listed at, 250? - Yeah, 240. - 240, 240 bucks, 41 movies. What is that, what's 41 into 240? - It's about fine. - There you go, put it on the screen. Five bucks a movie. Come on, you can't beat that, right? That's incredible. All right, folks, let's move on. We got time for one more segment. What a world. We haven't done a what a world in a while, have we? - Yeah, it's been a minute. - Yeah, all right, let's do it. What do we got? - So basically, we've got Andrew Tate for "In the Show" and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami. - Yeah, I saw that on like sex, something in charges. - Yes, it was definitely sex, something in charges. - Andrew and Tristan Tate arrested in Miami. Just before Andrew was set to co-host a bare knuckle boxing event. Oh God, just when you thought he couldn't get any manlier. Bare knuckle boxing. Tates were taken into custody. All right, keep scrolling. Photos, "Vandered to the Buh-Buh." A member of "Launfers" is just checking behind the guys. Can you tell us what the fucking charges were, Jesus Christ. Crosshairs of a federal investigation. Does it say it anywhere? - No, it does not, but basically what it is, is it's just 38 new charges from overseas in the UK. - Yeah, I'd like to know, oh wait, click on where it's just 21 charges have been authorized. Big surprise, TMZ is in coming through with all the information. - Yeah. - Are there two bigger dipshits on planet Earth, by the way, than the two guys that host those TMZ interviews? Who's the guy that looks like he's from dirty jobs that runs TMZ? - Oh, he's a fucking moron or something. - All right, anyway, sorry, go ahead. Andrew and Tristan Tate charged in the UK for, we don't know, oh, oh, sorry, there you are, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you know what you're doing, I'm sorry. Rape in human trafficking accusations. Well, those are the two big ones, I ain't good. God, it's so creepy too, that it's brothers, both getting charged, do you know what I mean? This is horrible, no matter how you slice it, but it's so extra creepy when it's two brothers. You know what I mean? Like Harvey Weinstein is horrific. Think about how much creepier it would have been if it was Harvey and his brother that got charged because that gives you the impression that they're operating together, not just outside the bedroom either. Do you see what I'm saying? No, I'll go fuck myself, am I crazy? - No, you're not crazy. - You're right, yeah, it's gross. - It's gross, right? Carly, what do you think? - No, I agree, it's terrifying. - Yeah, right? Jesus Christ. All right, well, the Tate Suck and, you know, here we go, there we know they suck. There's just so many charges. There's like no real specifics. It's very blanketly. - Well, look, did he showed us that it doesn't matter how many charges, you know? We'll see what happens when the gavel drops, but that's kind of it, right? So, one of Andrew's girlfriends, Breastern accused him of attacking her, during sex, just a few weeks after he touched down in the States, touched as a bad word to use in the sentence with him, but, all right. Oh, wait, what's this say? Governor Ron DeSanis announced the brothers are not welcome in the States. Hey, Ron DeSanis. (laughing) Everybody's always criticizing Ron DeSanis. That's a car, right, all right? Point up on the Ron DeSanis board. I love this. Joseph McBride is referred, they're a lawyer. As referred to the investigation as merely a formality. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's exactly like when I. You know, I can't think of any other formalities, but yeah, let me think of one. Nope, I got nothing. (laughing) I can't think of any, I can't think of an example, but yeah. It's just like when the guy inspecting your house, you know, says, we have to walk into every room. It's a formality, but you know, it's the same thing as, yeah, this investigation into you, human trafficking and raping. It's just a formality. All right, that's quite formal. Far more formal than the crimes themselves. All right, let's go to another headline. Man spent eight hours in Porta Potty Tank retrieving mountain dew bottle companies.
says, wait, what? Man spent eight hours in porta potty tank retrieving Mountain Dew bottle. Why? So basically this guy, I guess, this was at the one of the World Cup events in Kansas City, he dropped a bottle of Mountain Dew into one of the porta potty's and he got in there to get it. And I guess he fell in and couldn't get out. So he was trapped in there for eight hours. So wait, so there's a difference between he was trapped and he spent eight hours trying to find a Mountain Dew bottle. Yes. This is what scumbags these fucking news outlets are. They make it sound like he's a psycho. Do you know what I mean? They make it sound like he's a psycho who dug through piss and shit in a porta potty for eight hours trying to find a Mountain Dew bottle and somehow couldn't find it in the one bowl in the porta potty. And it's like, no, he went in there to fucking get his bought. And he got, first of all, why are you bringing your drink in the porta? That's disgusting. But you know what I'm saying? Here's a statement from the porta potty company regarding the man who was found inside one of their toilets. Oh, let's hear that statement, please. Hey, everybody, here to send the story straight for what happened on July 14th, 2026. My name is Ship Countermann. I'm a partner with Patriot Portable Restrooms here in Kansas City. But one of our guys went to pick up an event from the World Cup and knocked on all the doors, made sure nobody was in the restrooms. He did find one of them locked, knocked on the door, and let the gentleman know he had 10 minutes to get out, picked up everything else back to that toilet and knocked again. The man inside said he was not going to get out. All right, pause it. First of all, did this guy voice King of the Hill? Is he the voice of every character on King of the Hill? Second of all, now, now hold on. Who's wrong here? I thought you said the story said that the man got trapped. This guy's saying the man wouldn't leave. Someone's wrong. Well, where did you get your information from? From the article. Really? Yeah. Oh, God. What the fuck an AI probably wrote the goddamn article. That's probably why it's fucking wrong. Jesus Christ. Anyway, the guy wouldn't leave. They're saying he wouldn't leave. He's saying he was trapped. Actually, do you think this is just a classic case of they're trying to not get sued? So they're like, you weren't trapped. You said you wouldn't leave. He's like, fuck off. I was trapped in there. I mean, to be honest, I was trying to figure out how the fuck you get trapped in the hole. Like how? Couldn't reach the door, couldn't get out of the toilet. Well, those things, if you, those are very large cavities, those toilets, I would imagine if you didn't have the seat down and you sat down without putting the seat down by accident, you could easily like sink into it like this and possibly be stuck if you had like any sort of mobility issue or anything like that. During the rescue, mantle response, he had climbed into, oh, god, climbed into the tank to retrieve a mountain dew bottle. He had dropped there the night before. What the fuck is going on? This is insane. All right, the guy's crazy. Or it was just not an ordinary mountain dew bottle. This guy's crazy. And now I feel bad that I said these fucking news outlets because I do hate most news outlets, but it's not their fault. This guy's nuts. Firefighters ultimately cut apart the portable toilet to free. I guess he was head first in and he got stuck. His waist got stuck. Fire department came after that and tried to instruct a man to exit the toilet and demanded what to do. Ask him why he went in and he told them he was retrieving a mountain dew bottle that you dropped in the night before. So that then inside of the tank for about eight hours, all of that was true. All right. He did the Kansas. This is disgusting. He went head first in and was stuck. That's what I'm getting out of that. That's the only way you could be stuck. Your arm can't get stuck. Well, it's just risk got stuck in the hole. But then he went in like this and like was head was stuck. I hope. Let me rephrase that. I hope he went in like this and this head was stuck. That's what I want this to be. All right. Bull is down. I can't. This is what a shitty story. You know, folks. You know what? Let's end on that joke. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for listening. We appreciate you. Subscribe. Follow all of that. Violent horrendous on Instagram at Joe DeRosa Comedy on YouTube and on Instagram. Let's plug away some dates real quick.
