Umm. Hmm. Ok. Oh Absolutely.

The conversation begins with a humorous realization that two young women run the Royal Otis Instagram account, prompting gratitude. This is followed by a surreal and vivid anecdote about a banana that dehydrates into a dark, fermented state, evoking physical and emotional reactions. The discussion then pivots to practical humor—suggesting a bag-carrying vest for grocery trips—before diving into personal anecdotes about interviews, swimming, and self-perception in social settings. A key topic is the proposed book club centered on *Morning Glory: Milking Farm*, a provocative romance novel, which they see as a shared, uncomfortable but meaningful experience. The speakers express skepticism about Hollywood’s portrayal of off-screen celebrity relationships, criticizing their inauthenticity and emotional manipulation. The conversation expands to include excitement about upcoming media, such as *White Lotus*, *Big Mistakes*, and a reality dating series where age is treated as a neutral factor. Personal reflections on social media, TikTok, and nature—like the bald eagle couple Jackie and Shadow—add warmth and depth. The tone balances humor, introspection, and a genuine interest in both entertainment and personal growth, culminating in a sense of shared curiosity and connection.

Okay, well, I met some young women the other day when I was at my friend's birthday and they came up to me and they go, "You've been talking to us." And I go, "Pardon?" They go, "You've been talking to us." Now, I've been DMing Royal Otis a lot on Instagram. No. Don't tell me. I didn't realize I'd been DMing two young women a lot on Instagram because they are running the Royal Otis account. So thank you, too, thank you to my chosen family, those two women that are running the Royal Otis account. Yeah, I already got it. You're the impression I was speaking Otis. I was, or Royal. I thought I was talking Otis. One of the two young men, I wouldn't really care. Well, I thought I was talking Otis, so. Oh my God. What? [Music] When's the last time I recorded it and this part of my home? Oh my God. I don't know why. What are you seeing? I think this is my thing. Ew, ew, Connor, ew, no. That's not okay. No. Absolutely not. No, Connor. No. Put it down. Down, boy. [Laughs] Where did it go? Wait, wait. Was it just the peel? Or a full banana? No, no, no. I mean. That is a Peruvian puff pepper. I'd like to propose a toast. Hang on. Do not feel. No, I'm not going to, there's nothing to peel. I'm not getting it. It's a completely dehydrated banana. Was it just the skin or was there a banana inside? No, there was a banana in this. Whoa. Like call me crazy. I really understand where. Shit. Black. Yeah, I can't even look. Was it? I've never seen a food of any kind turn that shade of midnight sky. Did you. Hello? 911 to your emergency. You lost your banana? I don't want you to put it back on your face. Oh. [Laughs] Oh, wow. That smells something like I've never experienced. I think it fermented a bit. Oh. Well, that's a testament to how clean my home is. Wow. There's no. I mean, there's not a fruit fly inside. That took my breath away. Anyway, now that we got that out of the way, hey, Brooke. Hi, Connor. Welcome back to Brook and Connor. Make a podcast. You little thing. Ooh, I'm still thinking about that banana. I know. I'm looking at it. So. It's giving me the same feeling in my stomach that chapel runs red carpet dress gave me. With the Grammys. Yeah. Like. Ow. You know what I mean? The banana's giving you the same feeling as like a satin dress dangling from her nips. Yes. Like. Ow. Like. Ooh. Like. Crinch. Like my body hurt. Like it's like hurting me. I was just kind of thinking like not that like a dress is weighing a ton on your shoulders. But I was like, how nice to take the weight off your shoulders for a moment. Look at her boobs. Right. Her nips. But. Yeah. But it's just like making me wince, I guess. For some other things you could hang from your nipples. I'm thinking like if you only wanted to make one trip from the car after you've gone to the grocery store, how nice would it be? If your nipples were able to, if your nipples were up for the challenge, it would be really nice to just care of being here some bags out of the one, one, one, one tip. Honestly, not a bad idea to have a harness that has like multiple clips for like five bags. And you can just attach them to your body. Whoa. I have no idea. I think it's a vest. They have that as a vest. Yeah. Is he. Would you mind looking up bag carrying vest? Yeah. I hate that that happens when this happens. You hate what happens? Honestly, they don't really have what I'm talking about. I invent something and it exists. Oh, no, they don't. Oh, that no, I'm talking about you can look at at Caribbean or to this. I'm talking about like carabiners. Oh, this is very gotten very sexual. Yeah, I'm talking about pretty quickly. Something different. So Roku wearing a full leather had to toe fit gone to the grocery store. Sorry, it's just to make it. It's just for ease of carrying my carabiner best. Not really into anything crazy. It's just it just happened to be leather, but it's it's for carrying all my bags. Yeah. Anyway, that's something to to think about. We touched on jugs earlier in this in this podcast. What did we talk about when it was hands-free jugs? Remember when I think we were to. Oh, we've definitely spoken about jugs. I don't remember what we were saying when it was the last time you interviewed for something. The last time I do mean like for to get a position or like I was interviewed by like a media outlet. No, no, not a media outlet. Yeah, like you're trying to impress someone via your skills. It maybe doesn't have to be. For a job, but more so just like in general. What is an example of that that wouldn't be interviewing for a job like your partner. No, not a date. My apartment. My apartment. I just like met my landlord when she was giving me a tour. So I wouldn't say that was an interview. No, okay. I think when I bought when I last applied for a teaching job. Oh, it's been a while. Did you get sit down and do an interview and like crush it? Absolutely not. Oh, for what? I don't know. I had to interview for my apartment. You did? What kind of questions did they ask you? Like what's your like what are your hobbies? What do you like to do? Why do they care? I think they're just trying to get a read. And obviously I lied. My button cheeks off. Yeah. What did you say? I was like, I love to swim. I don't know why swimming game. I could do love. Of course, everyone loves to. Yeah. I don't think that that's like a unique thing to me. But I do think that like that being top of mine for me does. Does let the the receiver know like this young man loves human basic activity. Like that's like a basic productivity. Yeah, like a primal activity. Like an like an ancestral almost instinctual activity swimming. And I didn't. There's no bells. There's no whistles. Okay. So leave every bell and whistle. You thought you had about swimming at the dough. Okay. I'm talking for the love of the game. Bobbing around like an apple. Perfect. Trading water. Sure. Diving underneath, opening my eyes. It doesn't matter. The medium of the body of water. It could be chlorine. It could be salt water. It could be fresh. And look at the lifeguard in course. I have. Yeah. Have you. How long did you have to tread water for? I don't remember. I think it was like five minutes. Yeah. Well, I think we had to do ten. One of yeah. One of my friends did it. And like we thought he was joking. And he like went underwater and he was being F R. And he was underwater in a big way. He cramped, which is like a scary thing. You can cramp. You can totally cramp. I'm so good at floating on my back. That it's like I'm this I'm safer in water than I am in land. I'm better at floating on my back than I am standing on my legs. How often are you floating in water? Tell me. Pretty damn often, Connor. Okay. So when you're floating in water and you turn on to your back, it's like a ball. Okay. This is me. You're being interviewed. I am the most buoyant person, you know. Okay. Cool. This is like right now you're nailing the interview. The interview is for the position of tadpole. Nice. You know, I was a whale in my swimming group in camp. Can't get higher than the whales, baby. Can I get higher than the whales? Harden. I was a whale in my swimming group, looking like out of all the levels that camp. I was a whale. Okay. I see a lot of kids make it to the whales. No, they don't. You know why I made it to the whales? Why? Because of my performance on my back. So you have a way with words like young young young Hussie. Thank you. Do not call me. We have we have one one young Hussie in the city or joined today with one young Hussie. She's great on our back and she is a whale. No, I know. Sorry, she was a whale. So what do you remember when we did that like all American rejects. We watched the music video in the video. It's like I hate fat people. Even though my mom is a whale. It was like you wrote that down and they put your face in that music. Yeah, young man. I hope I really hope he I hope that came back around. Like these 15 minutes of fan. Like I don't know if he found his 15 minutes within the all American rejects. I'll keep you my dirty little secret music video. Like I don't know if he found what he was looking for. I sure hope that wasn't reflective of something that happened to him. Like a lived experience. I really hope that was just like they were handing out the cards at random and he happened to draw that. No, I think that. - That was his. - That's true, that's truly his darkness in his heart. That is someone, that's like watch list vibes. - Yeah, I think that was his and I think his 15 minutes of fame linger to longer than 15. Like once you hold up a card that says my mom is a whale, like that will linger in your life. - I hope it did. Like I hope that he had to answer to that. - You deserved it. - Did you see the movie The Whale? - No. - Did I tell you about my experience watching The Whale? - Yeah, you're sobbing on the plane. - Yeah, and then I switched it over to not the holdovers, Mr. whatever, with Tom Hanks. - Oh, a man called Ove, but Otto at right? It was Otto. - A man called Otto Ove. - Ove is the book. - Oh, you know, one thing about me. - Not a read, not a big reader. - No. - I do wanna discuss something with you. - Wait, are we getting into our book that we talked about last week? - I was kinda gonna mention that. 'Cause I changed my mind and I wanted to explain. - No, you can't change your mind. I was getting really hyped up. - Well, let me pitch you something. - Okay. - For those of you that don't know in the bonus a few weeks ago, Connor and I decided to do a book club and we were gonna read Morning Glory Milking Farm, which is a Minotaur romance. - I think it was just the milking farm. - I think it's Morning Glory, baby. - I think that was, is it, are you right? - Yes. - Morning Glory Milking Farm. Okay, so if you're wondering like, what could this book be about? It's really just in the title and every in you window that you think that they could be making that they are. Like it's pretty much laid out for you. They're jacking off the Minotaur. - 158%. I was gonna pitch, what about Jane Eyre? - What about Jane Eyre? - What if we did that? - Is that a, is that a Dyson product? I don't know what? - No, it's like a classic. - Okay. - Like an old Bronte classic. - See like, we had like a really fun thing going. - I'll do milking farm, I'll do milking farm. - We like met in the midst of this looks. - I'll do milking. - This looks really, really, truly like, I'm gonna change my major if this is a required read. - I will do milking farm. I just, I saw withering heights and I made it, I added to my New Year's resolution, read a classic. So at which, I don't like want to do it, but like I'm going to, and I thought it would be less painful if you did it with me, but I'll do that. - I'm down, I'm down to read a classic. Like it's confusing how they're, they characterize books as classics. Like I'll read 1984 with you. - No, I mean like what, like one of these that is gonna test my limits. - There is a reason why all of these authors killed themselves. These books are snooze-fest. - I don't think any of them, I don't think the Bronte sisters did that. - Should they, but then they put their heads in. - You know, you're thinking about Sylvia Plath. I would like to read the bell jar as well. That I think I'll actually like. - Yeah, I mean like, I guess I watched Love Island, UK, and they all, that's a good show. Sorry, I'm not meaning to like, - Where was the perfection? - They all killed themselves on that show, like. - Oh, I didn't try. - I didn't try. I didn't have that. - Yeah, and I found that out as I was watching that season, and it did ruin it for me, which is no surprise, but like knowing that Sylvia Plath did go via oven, like I think going into it, I'd be like, "Oh, this is interesting." It's kind of like, you know when an artist dies, and it's like, what's it saying about when an artist dies, and you start to appreciate their work more? - I know, I don't know if there's a saying, but it's just the thing, like appreciated post-mortem. - Yeah, it's like, why don't, how about we appreciate it while we're here? So, you know, that's almost worth like, faking your death for and seeing what people do with it. - That's my favorite episode of Friends. Is when Ross throws himself a memorial service. - Yeah, and her? - Yes, of course, no, I have it. I'm sorry, I don't know why I lied. - That's okay. But okay, we'll do morning glory milking farm. - I think we do this. This is baseline. Let me grease my wheels a little bit. - Okay, I don't, you're not gonna, I don't think you're gonna love it. - The thing is, I don't think you're gonna love it, so I really feel like we're meeting in the middle here. - Okay, look. - I could see, see, this is, no, I can't. I was gonna try to convince myself that I could see liking him. I can't get on board with the minotaur. I can't. - But there's been many that, okay. - And I can't read it. - Visual is like, that visual is not my favorite 'cause she's clearly, she's filled the jar up with something and she's, she's gloves on. Which, the thing is, we will be tested. - Yeah. - But you know, Luke of, of book talk Reddit as a social experiment. - Is that right there in the middle? - Yeah, the one, and from the tractor. - Yeah, he just came across my desk that's freaking, he follows me, so I followed him back. - Yeah, oh, that's great. - Oh, he's, he's read this book. - He, he read it as like, he was like, I will do this, but like, I won't like it. He really liked it. - Go figure, sometimes you, sometimes the milking farm is where you least expect it. Sometimes the milking farm is right under your nose. - Exactly, sometimes the milking farm is what you find on the way. I'm really nervous. - Wow, I'm excited. - When do we start? - I gotta get the book. I keep forgetting to get it. - I have it. - It's a boss, yeah. - You'll get it next week. - I have a, you have a copy there? - Yeah, I got it. - Is he, oh, is he fabulous? - And I just see it, is he, and just open to a page and kind of see what type of content we'll be working with? - Yeah, when I get it. - Oh, great. - No worries, yeah. - Okay, so Morning Glory milking farm it is. And if you'd like to join our book club, we'll be doing that on the bonus, starting. - Okay, can we click that? - Later. - That bottom, I'm sorry. That bottom right image, and maybe this is a passage of the book. She should have let go, Violet knew that. She told herself she ought to do so immediately, but she was hypnotized by the way, his heavy balls throbbed as he came. Each spurt into the milking machine, originating beneath her fingertips, and she began to squeeze them in time, helping him empty every drop. So I'm down for Jane Eyre. - I'm not, I think I can't. Do you wanna do Jane Eyre? (laughing) - Can we, do you think we could maybe, we look into it third option? - We could be in milking farm in Jane Eyre. - I think we can find something in between the two. - Okay, if you guys have any suggestions for something that meets in the middle of a bronchid classic and heavy balls, please let us know. I can't think of anything. - Think of a vindivire. - Yes. - What is it called? - Vendiogram. - Vendiogram. And think of something right there in the middle. In fact, forget the vendiogram. Think about a spectrum, and we're thinking milking farm on the right, and we're thinking Jane Eyre brought these scissors on the left. - I think the key for us is that it has to be out of both of our comfort zones, 'cause we have to have it like shared experience. And I think that we'll get that when we venture on the, to the edge of our comfort zone, and a little bit past the edge as well. - And is that what, so are you back to morning glory? - Not at all. I'm saying that there's gotta be something that meets in the middle that is also out of our comfort zone. 'Cause like I could be like, let's read this romance and like I'll like it, but like you're, you're gonna be miserable, you know? - Yeah. - Maybe there's a classic that we would both like. - What do you mean? - Wait, by the way, I have to bring this up, something that I am so excited about. You know, they're doing a live action. - Tangled? - They're doing a live action. What's the boys on the island? - Oh, where the wild things are? - No, no, I love that. You know, I love that shit, but hang on. Boys on the island. - Lord of the Flies. - Lord of the, they're doing a live action. Lord of the Flies. I've never read that. - Do you wanna read that? - Did you already read it? I don't wanna read that. - I mean, years and years and years ago. - I don't know, I don't wanna read that. - Okay. - But I appreciate it for what it is. - Oh, it's a TV series. It's a new four, a new four-part live action, TV adaption of Lord of the Flies. It's set to be released on BBC. That's how you, it could be really good 'cause it's on BBC and it's filmed in Malaysia. - Glove. - Yeah, that will be, I'll really enjoy that. - Okay. I have a-- - I have like a lot of TV stuff to talk about. - Okay, so we just move on from book club. - Maybe we circle back and revisit towards the end when we have like a more firm grasp on reality. - Okay. - And like what we have in common. Maybe, maybe by the end of this, we'll find somewhere in the middle. Okay, let me go, let me go through. I also have a lot of media to speak of. - Media. - Yeah, like book, I have a movie, a TV show and a book, all of which I've consumed since we last spoke. - All right, well, do you want to just start with where they're, where they're in heights? Where are there's windows? - That is a, it is a tough for me to say. I think I said withering last time, but it's more of like withering. - It's more like with, where there's originals, than using your grandma has at the bottom of her purse. You're luring. Here's what I'll say. - Yeah. - You guys know I have premiere blindness? - Let 'em know. - So you, you can't really trust this review, unfortunately. I have loved every movie that I have seen at a premiere. That means I also loved it ends with us when I saw it. at a premiere. Then, solid at home, hugely different experience. So I don't know. I really, really enjoyed myself and I thought it was great. But again, that being said, I don't know if you can trust me. I do know for a fact, like obviously it was like visually stunning and I thought the performances were incredible. I had no idea what the story was about and I would imagine this is very largely different from the book. That being said, I didn't even know the tone of the story. I thought it was more of like a. Hey, can I jump in real quick? You may. What are you talking about? Withering Heights? Yeah, I'm like, I, I, I, I don't even know what you're referencing, plotline, what, like what did you, what did you see there if there was no plotline and you didn't know the tone? No, I'm talking about the book. I'm saying I didn't know anything about the book, going into it. Oh, I see. Sorry. It's in you. It's okay. I didn't know what the tone of the story was. I didn't know what the plotline of the story was. So I was very surprised by the way the movie went. Yeah. And I guess I don't really want to spoil anything. But like, I also know there are a lot of people who feel very strongly about the book and I would imagine that you, this movie will not be for you if that's the case. But I have mine really. Can we just like, I'm not going to watch it. I want to be very clear that, um, and you know, I love my boy. One of my closest confidants. J E was great. J J E. Yeah. Um, I have been pretty significantly turned off by the press surrounding their, like off screen relations, like whatever's going on with that. Oh, how like they became emotionally independent or whatever. Okay. So like, there has been like this progression of like every movie that has a male and female lead and any, actually, any leads, um, where the movie seems to be dependent on the press around these two, maybe having a romantic relationship off screen, even though like one's married and one's dating and like, well, they won't they? And it's like very, very weird. And like, no one's buying this one for some reason. And I don't know. Maybe because it just like feels in authentic. Like Margot Robbie doing an interview and says that she's pretty co-dependent on jagabalority. She, she found herself looking around for him when she couldn't see him and like, didn't know where she, where he was. And I'm like, one, you're married. Not that that's ever stopped. Anybody speed bump, not a stop sign. And it's jagabalority. Like no one would blame you. But I, they got matching rings. And then they like, I don't know. It's like, is it throwing you off at all? You saw the movie. So I don't know. Maybe this, I mean, that's just how it goes. I'm like, now, I think that's how they sell movies. But like, this is a, this isn't an adaption of a classic. I think people would have been curious enough as it is. You didn't, you don't have to like, sex out. Do this. Do this much. It's just disappointing to me to look at these two a list, a list, a list, a list celebrities buy into the like, the like, sorry, like anyone but you press tour where it's like, we're fucking show. You guys should see the movie. I have actually not gotten any romantic vibes between them. It's like the whole press thing. No, I know. But I haven't gotten romantic vibes. I've just gotten like, like, weird. Margot Robbie had a shrine to jagabalority during weathering heights. So that, like that, Plotonic trine. Plotonic trine. I know you have a lot of platonics trines. Yeah. So I don't know. Yeah, I guess I'm not buying it. Like you said, like I'm not sensing the romance. No, no one is, but it's actually turning me off to the movie. So I think that I hope we see a correction in the in the press tour situation where it's just like, you guys don't have to be having sex because at the end of the day, you are actors. So just go ahead and act like you're having sex on screen. And then you guys can go home. I hear you. Like they put too much money in things. Maybe just like buy some buy some billboards, you know? Yeah. I haven't watched too much of it of the press. I find Margot Robbie to be so beautiful that it act. It like it does not upset me, but it's like, I don't need to look, you know? You don't need to look at what? Margot Robbie. Her? Yeah. Cause she is just like so beautiful. I'm like, cool. You know? Yeah. I don't think you're the first one that's ever said that. Yeah. No, and I won't be the last, but yeah, I haven't engaged too much. So I think a lot of people would agree with you. Yeah. That was my only thought. Now, can you, can you, can we just give a warning that you're going to spoil it for me really quick? And then if you're not going to see it, you can listen. If you are going to see it, see it, skip. I'm not going to spoil it, but I will, I will say the tone. We spoil it to me. No, because I don't want to, like someone's bound to listen and then get mad at me. Skip the next 30 seconds. I just didn't, like, it's just, I'm going to spoil it right now. Starting one, two, three. She dies like pretty, a gruesome death. Like it's not like a love story. Like they, I guess they were in love, but like it's not a love story by any means. It wasn't really, it wasn't really getting, getting you there. I mean, no, it was still really good. It was just, I thought it was like more pride and prejudice, which I think is classic, like yearning love story. And this was like, there was a darkness. Just the prejudice. It's just the prejudice exactly. But there was, yeah, it was just, like, made me feel sick. And I saw, you saw, oh my God, at the end, yeah. Wow, that's sad. Yeah. Okay. Well, that, I mean, that was, that was one of the things that I had, that I had a question about. I was curious. Now, I was, I was never going to go see it though. This doesn't like, this doesn't like do anything for me. I wonder if it didn't do anything for Jacob, but Lordy, because he just won all those awards for Frank and sign. I wonder if this was just like, this one's just for me. No, I, I think that well, he love, he works. I think him and Emerald Fennel have that thing that a lot of directors and actors have, or it's like, you're, I like, I will use you in all of my projects, like Emma Stone and Guillermo, no, not Guillermo, who's that, who was that director? The one like, Bagonia and you know, you're a ghost. Yeah. Wait, I watched Bagonia. Oh, how was that? Um, like, okay. What's weird is that like, I, this is like a movie that you could really have. Bagonia was like, really, it had like an artistry to it, but it was like, almost like a little bit so unsettling. Um, and I'm sure there's like an underlying theme that I didn't care to think that far into. I was just kind of like, oh, my God. Like, what? It was so, it was so almost SNL-E. If that makes sense, Emma Stone was really great. Jesse Williams is great. Bad? A pro. I don't know. I really don't know. I haven't, I haven't, I haven't watched a movie. I've been like, we are so good at movie reviews. No, well, I know you're like, okay, how was weathering it? There was a tone to it. There was another one. I'm not sure. No, Bagonia. I, Bagonia, I wasn't, I wasn't, I watched Bagonia and I wasn't like, huh? But I was, and I also wasn't like, huh? I was kind of like, do you know what I mean? Connor, the thing is 100% I do. It just like, it just was. Okay. Was it more of like, okay? Brooke, yes. It was totally like, okay. Okay, thank you for letting me know. Thank you. Okay. Okay. But it wasn't like, okay. Do you know what I mean? But it also wasn't like, okay. Yeah. It was like, okay. Well, it was like, well. Yeah. For me, weathering heights was more of like, oh, absolutely. Okay. Okay. So for me, Bagonia was like, well, I just watched a movie. That's well said. Well, I just watched that. That's what it was. Yeah. I get that. Yeah. Yes. That felt so good to get off my chest. Yeah. So that's that now. And that's what it is. Now to looking towards the future. I am very excited for white lotus. They casted white lotus. Me too. If you didn't think that they were going to, of course, Mike White, kiss the ground you walk on, hell in a bonham. Yeah. Cast it for, could you think of a better casting? No. And can I raise you Chris Messina? You can. I've spoken about him ad nauseam in this very chair. I don't know that. You know that? Have you really? Yes. You know who he is. Mindy projects and from that show. Yeah. I know I do. Well, Marissa Long is a friend of mine. Oh, wow. And Alexander Ludwig. That's great. I mean Chris Yeah, that's it. Yeah, that's a brilliant, you go up a few. I do, I could see Caleb, John, I'd words causing some problems for me and some people in my life as well. What? I said, I'm looking forward to getting to know the guy. Of course. I think it's going to be completely brilliant. I think this is a great casting. I want to see Helen a bottom. I don't know what I want to see or do. I want to see her do it all. I'm curious. We're saying we are truly saying a whole lot of nothing today. That's fine. I want to see Helen a bottom act. Well, here's what I'll say about her. I've only seen her in like very dark roles. Yes. So I'm curious to see what she's like in this type of production. I'm going to, I'm going to make, I'm going to make a call here and say that she's going to be an overwhelming protagonist in this season. I think she's going to be happy, go lucky, and I think things will happen around her, but not directly to her. Okay. Let's keep our eye on that and watch that space. Do you know when this is set to release? We do. 2020, 2020, it's spring of 2020. Oh, they're not filmed. They're not even filming. I guess they just cast. So wait. Okay. So there was that very excited for that. I don't want to be an actress, but I want to be in white Lotus. You want to be a dead floating body? No, I want to be one of the cast members. Yeah, that would be great. That's that's that's a dream of mine too. You and I could go and and and die pretty quick. Yeah. I'm fine with that. Me too. Mike White, I just know that me and Mike White would be boys. Yeah. Speaking of boys, Dan Levy and Rachel Senate have created a new comedy series together called Big Mistakes. Okay. Use that not very cool. That is very cool. The series follows two incapable siblings who are blackmailed into the world of organized crime. Oh, that sounds fun. Doesn't that sound fun? Yeah. And they will star in it. Sorry. Who else is in this cast in this? I don't see Rachel Senate. Taylor Ortega. Natalie. So this is Natalie Ortega sister. Natalie Ortega was on tour with me. Oh, and Jack Cannon is in it. Wow. Okay. Very fun. I didn't really say it already cast upsetting but good for Jack and everyone else involved. Great. I'm looking forward to this. We are getting by the way, I'm about to read through like a handful of TV and I'm coming up and it's all really great. One, there's a Stranger Things animated series. Go to hell. Let it go. How long is this going to go on? Next, we're going to get a Riverdale animated series. Stranger Things should be a lesson in like what not to do. Like they had me so wrapped around their finger and then they just waited way too long. Like I've never not finished a series like Except for Stranger Things. You got to let it go. The art of letting something go while it's still going really, really well and everyone's on your side. It should be studied and it should be put into practice by franchises of that scale. Well, I wonder if it's the same things playing Bach Jack. I wonder if you just can't. I could never if I have like $300 and I started with 100, like I'm going to keep going even though I know I should walk away. Yeah and that's called a gambling addiction and that people go to rehab. I'm saying I wonder if it's the same thing. Like I wonder if the Duffer brothers have a gambling addiction. 100% they're addicted to it and guess what? They have an animated series coming out. So they're friends need, well I'm sure. Are they doing it? I mean, it's it's called Stranger. It's it's literally, look, it's it's literally first trailer for the animated Stranger Things series premiering April 23rd and it's on Netflix. There's no way they're not doing it and collaboration flying bark. Yeah, the Duffer. I think I will watch it unfortunately just because I'm like craving a cartoon. You're part of the problem, but I think Odessa Zion is in it as as she should be she's she's struck gold recently. I don't need to even look at this any any way. Who else is in it? Actually, I want to I'm curious. Okay. Yeah, Odessa is in it and that's all I know. Where are you seeing her? Oh, there she is. Cool. Oh, I'll probably watch. I mean, do you think it means anything when your original cast won't stick around for another rendition? No, they would like I would not expect them to. You don't think Sydney Sync would be a voice. Sadie. Sadie. No, I would not. I was talking about. They're probably talking about Sydney. Okay. Next, who's ready? Me. Maggie Jill in all has a new movie coming out the bride. Christian Bale plays Frank who is obsessed with movie musicals. He develops a parasocial relationship with movie star played by Jake Gyllenhaal. The film features big budget musical sequences. Is it gay? It appears to be gay. This sounds great. Yep. It's in it's Maggie Jill in halls. She's cast her brother. This sounds awesome. And Jesse Buckley. Wow, when does it not? It's horror. It doesn't say it does on here. It's horror. Oh, my God. It comes out next month. Wow. Exciting. Wait, this is completely different. This is in 1930, Chicago, a scientist brings a murdered young woman back to life. So I think this is a different film then. What you might be reading or no? No, it's not. It's it's I'm reading it. Do you have anything about bringing someone back to life in your synopsis? I mean, I'm sure that maybe that's just a high level plot point and they wanted to include what would do well on Twitter. Okay. And I'll be curious too. Okay, we'll watch the space. Yeah. But if it's what if it's what you told me it is, I'm pretty damn excited. Now what do we know about Margo's got money troubles? I want to read that. What? I want to read that. Okay. It's starring L-Fanning, Michelle Fyfer, Nick Offerman, Greg Greg Kinnier, Daddy a Graham and Nicole Kidman, premiering April 15th on Apple TV. Yeah. That's going to be really good. Are we ready for the next one? Okay. Lucky, a new series starring Anya Taylor Joy, Anya. Anya. Good Anya. And Timothy, oil a fan. Okay. They couldn't pick two weirder names to put together. Good luck. The series follows a con artist who has to go to on the run from both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss releasing July 15th on Apple TV. Okay. I don't know. Something that Anya Taylor Joy, nothing ever, nothing ever works for me. So probably like this seems like it would be up my alley, but it's like it just never works. No, I don't miss out on that one. And then I think I have one more and then we can just shift gears. Okay. Okay. All right. What do we think about? They cast the Beatles. So there's a movie coming out, The Beatles. Yes. It's starring Barry Yogan. It's starring Paul Mescal. It's starring Harris, Dickinson and it's starring Joseph Quinn. Right. There's very, there's some very, very spectrumed takes on these. There's some hot ones. There's some cold ones. No one likes Joseph Quinn's casting. I kind of can't. I struggled to perceive Barry with this hair. I don't. You like it? No, I don't like anything really when I see him. Well, I just said I struggled to perceive it. Oh, okay. Yeah, I'm in the same boot boot. Yeah, it's tough. It's a tough one. I do think he's really talented actor, but he's like, I mean, it's just like, yeah, that is not awesome. Like I'm serious if I saw him in person, I'd be like, I swear to God, he just casts a spell on me. Like I feel cursed. And no offense to him, he's like I said, he's very talented. Am I wrong or is this going to be four separate movies? Did I make that up? I think it's four movies. Do you think I was too mean about how Barry Keegan looks? I know. I think I'm sure he's aware and I said I was struggling to perceive him. So I think you're fine. It's four separate movies. So they all come out at the same time. So is there an order or is it like Bridgerton? You can kind of like they're interconnected. You can kind of read whenever. Sean Mendes. No, Sam Mendes. Sam Mendes is directing. Oh. Released April, 2028 design is bingeable theatrical experience while all four films on individual members will be will be released in the same month. The specific day-to-day release order has not been finalized. Hey, good time to get AMCA list. And over two years from now. Now the thing is like like I got to play Pasimist here. No, I guess they're filming four movies. I was just kind of like putting out four movies it wants is just are these going to be in like box if it's bingeable, it's probably streaming only, right? - Oh. I was thinking in theaters, it's a theatrical experience. - Okay, well, what upsets me and my home girls is that if you can't go to Belanoche where the hell could you go? One, two, if you're beefing at a wedding, you should say beefing at the wedding. Why the hell would you take that to someone else's club? Now, three, if you're releasing four movies, are you buying four movie tickets? Like that's just like, they are ripping us to shreds financially. - Not a fake list. - I know, but what a time to be like, hey, we're releasing four movies, come see four movies, that's like insane. - It is, I don't think it's ever been done. - I don't think it's ever been done. - First time for everything. - Uh-huh. - I have a, I'm, we can keep moving right ahead. I have one more that I'm gonna go ahead. - Okay, go ahead. - When love is there and love is real, age won't matter. Age is thrown at the window when single search for their soulmates in this new reality dating series hosted by Nick Vile and Natalie Joy. Age of attraction comes to Netflix on March 11th. - I'm excited. - And I'm excited too. This is something I will be tuning in to. It appears to be Milf Island and I am excited to see how this goes. I could see this going really well. This is like a really good example of how we were talking about dancing with the stars being like, it's a good combo of this and that. And now I was thinking like, the golden bachelor has like just people their age and it's like, okay, what if this person's and the younger people and what if this younger person's into older folks, then this is a perfect combo. - Absolutely. Do you believe that age is just a number in terms of dating, in terms of dating? - I think age is just a number in general. I'm experiencing that right now. - Yes. - In real time. - Okay, with dating? - No, just in my life. - Okay. - Day to day. - Got it. - Just age is truly just a number. - But if I was like, I want you to meet my boyfriend and I walked in the room with like a 58-year-old, what would you think? - Oh, what did I think? Like honestly, I'm not that, like unless he was a 14-year-old, I probably wouldn't say anything. I really don't. - I'm not asking what you would say. I'm asking what you would think. - What I would think? He's like, I'm also 58. What does he look like? You know, is he a looker? Is he, is, listen. If you came in with-- - He's totally hot. - Yes, bro, I would be like, look at you. - Okay. - But there's my Hossie. - Yeah. - What I would say is, you come in with like, you come in with like a Martin Short, you know? And like, I'd be like, bro, yes, he's so fun. Like we got to get dinner, you know? Like I would think that and he's bang. But I'd be like, this is awesome, this is so fun. I don't know, like I'm not like, yeah. - Thank you. - First of all. - I think that if I came in with a 58-year-old woman, I think that you would, your group text would be, your phone would be vibrating off its ringer. - Well, yeah. - But that has nothing to do with what I would say to you. - Right. - But yeah, I would, I would, I would see that and would love that for you. - Well, I'll be watching this show. When does it come out? - Oh, I've known. - March 11th. - Okay, which is insane, but that's soon. - We're having a good, we're gonna have a good month, we're gonna have a good spring full of TV shows, which is gonna be great, 'cause it's cold here. - Is it cold there? - No, it will be 80-something today. - Well, I can't wait for next week. I'm gonna go to the beach. - I don't know if it will stay till next week. - I'm gonna put a gun in my mouth. - Let me see. Drops into the 60s on Tuesday. - Oh, drops of Jupiter, that's just my luck. - Yeah, but no, I fully went to the beach and got like a tan this last week. - Yeah, you are glowing a bit. - That's very nice. They haven't picked up the trash in New York in 12 days. - Why, 'cause of the weather. - Yeah, it's pretty much like disgusting. - Is that why you're holding on to your banana? - Just, yeah, there's nowhere to put it. - Out of respect for the streets. - Yeah, for the, yeah, for the men on the streets. And the women on the streets, I absolutely need to hold on to any and any and all compostable items in my home. Is that not impressive though, that there was a rotting banana sitting in the studio in my house and like, sorry guys, it's not gonna happen anymore. I'm an adult man. Age is just a number though, at the end of the day, but I'm an adult that shouldn't be burping into the microphone. I apologize and I own up for that. Although it's better out than end, that's what my dad always says. - I wouldn't even call that rotting what your banana did. It's like a different process. - It's like dehydrated. - Yeah, it's something remarkable. - Which makes me think like, if that banana dehydrated in such a way that it is rock hard, what's happening to my body and lungs and the organs in here? - I think it's a different thing. - Fruit versus humans? - Yeah. - That would be a good video again that I'm sure you would play. - Fruit, I mean, like it is fruit merge basically. It's me against the fruits. - Fabulous. - Oh, fabulosity. Just like really quickly to touch on Bridgerton. - Are you watching Bridgerton? What do you mean? - Have you always watched Bridgerton? - Yes. And I have said from the beginning, you know, Jonathan Bailey as Anthony is one of the brothers. And I have always said from the beginning, I'm a Benedict girl. He's another one of the brothers, which is crazy because like you have a brother that's played by Jonathan Bailey. And I'm in a relationship with one of the other brothers, which is insane. And I have said years ago, his season once you see Luke Thompson on the big screen is going to change lives. - I don't know who Luke Thompson is. - Please, Benedict. - Is that the character? - Please, Benedict. Benedict is one of the brothers that I am a Benedict girl, right? He is changing lives in front of our eyes. He's the artistic one, you know? - You would love him, he loves to go out. - Oh, he looks like Jonathan Bailey. - Well, they play brothers. But I think he's just a white guy. - Yes. - But anyway, I saw him in a play two years ago in London. - Yeah. - And I just, I guess it was unobsessed, but I was like, mark my words. Like it is going, like this season is going to be the end of us all. And if you haven't started watching yet, I would. That's it. It's pretty severe. Leawesome. In a scary way. So that's that. - That's so nice to have something to come home to. - It is, except for they only released four episodes. And then the next four they're releasing on February 26, I believe. So what I would also say is, if you are enjoying the season so far, go ahead and read the book. You can read it before the rest of the series comes out. That's a fun little thing to hold you over. I really enjoyed the book. - Bridgerton is a book. - Bridgerton started as a book series. - Wow, people love doing that. - Yeah. - It's classic. - Isn't it? - Yeah. - Adaptions are epic. - Oh, totally epic. Something else I wanted to flag is that I've gotten really close to my Spotify DJ recently. - Yeah. - I never really used him before. But yesterday he let me know, I'm in a John Travolta's top 1% of listeners. - From like musicals? - I guess it's from Greece. But like, isn't that an amazing thing to be? - Yeah. - It makes me feel special. 'Cause like how many other people can say that? - Is John Travolta still with us? - Yeah. - Was he John? - Was he John? - Was it, oh no. Was he in some hot water or no? - Yes. But I'm pretty much confused by his existence in like what has happened. - He has gotten, he has been taking the rocks school of roundness. How has he gotten so perfectly round? - I just never get like bald guys like when they have like no hair, like at all. Like no like little stubble. You know when it's like shiny? - Well yeah, I mean he's has so much money. I'm sure that they have people for that to make him shiny. But I wonder how his head almost comes to a point. I wonder if I had no hair on my head. - I've always said I know for a fact I have the ugliest scalp. - Yeah, I don't think I would look like this. I think that the people would really be like how long do you have left? - Yeah. - I would like be spending hours and years as a dermatologist if my scalp was on display. Like there's so much, when I feel my scalp, I'm just like I don't know what this is and I don't want to know, it's not my business. - You bet your fat ass, it would feel so good to get in your bed with a bald head, like crawling around like an earthworm. I would be burrowing in all my pillows like head first. Like this, like you just probably slide pet. I would get silk sheets. I would put my bald head all up and I would probably sleep with my head at the end of my bed. 'Cause I'd be slipping flat around. Oh my God, I would grease myself up like a sea lion. And I would, you know those videos are sea lions and they're upside down and they're going through the kelp for me and my bed. - Yeah. - You know what, if I go bald, I'm shaving my whole body. - You don't really have any hair anywhere else. - I have hair in my legs. - I have more. - On your legs? - Yeah. That's all to say. - You probably do. You have light hair. - I have no hair in my arms or hair in my thighs. - Back, no, I'm jealous of your legs and shit like that. - Well, congrats. - What? (laughs) - That was really art, I held it in though. - I don't know, have you been on TikTok recently? - Not really, I mean like obviously like yeah, but not in a way that's like, I'm consuming new content. It's more just like, I get a lot of AI foods talking like this rice, this animated rice, it's like, don't put me in the fridge, something, something. And then like a banana, store me at room temperature or else I'll something, you know. You just get a lot of fruits. - Angry fruits in vegetable. - I'm getting the animated medication. - Ooh, I'm potassium. Don't take me in the morning, I'm gonna make your stomach hurt. I'm like, ooh, potassium, evil, it is helping me. So much, I hope they're using that in schools 'cause if it already exists, like obviously we shouldn't feed into, you know, demand breeds production for these AI videos, like if we're eating them up and they're being engaged with which they are, I'm sure the creators are like, let's do more of these, but it is really. - No, I have learned a lot about how to store my food. That's all I'll say. Soaring food, the medication, or the supplements I'm taking, really, really fabulous stuff happening on AI animated medications. - Unfortunately, like a pretty sucked in. - I have lost about 2,500 TikTok followers from just not opening the app the past two weeks, which has been a fabulous purge. See, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Is one, two, please come back. Like, I'm just taking a small break, you know? Like, I'm still me. - You still post on TikTok? - I haven't posted in a while. You know, I have my TikTok fatigue where it's like, there's just always a new person that's so funny and I'm like, that should be me. Like, I should have come up with that idea and then I'm like, I'd like Donnie want to be on here if they're on here. But I hear that there's a new bald eagle couple on TikTok, Jackie and Shadow, that like people are pretty much gushing over. - Oh my God, I don't know Jackie and Shadow. - Yeah, and this is like one of my favorite things. I love these. I've always been obsessed like at the rodeo in Houston. They always used to have like a little incubator that would have a lot of small chickens and chicks and they would be hatching from eggs and I would be locked and just watching them come to earth for the first time and be cracking through the shell. Crack, crack, crack and then their beak gets out and then their little gross body follows. But these bald eagles, they're a couple. It's Jackie and Shadow. - Oh, I thought one of them was like a human. - No, Jackie and Shadow are both eagles. You see here, there's closure. I mean, they talked back and forth from wherever Jackie was. They're chatting. Something ate one of their eggs before Jackie joined them in the nest after being gone for nine hours. They both broke out into the most beautiful in-depth conversation. Yes, I don't think I've ever witnessed them being vocal for so long. Who is reporting on them? - This is like one of the, so this is one of my favorite things. Like I would like to watch during the Super Bowl, I would like to have like a thumbnail of Jackie and Shadow's, like an a red zone type situation but it's a GoPro nest live stream of Jackie and Shadow's nest. They've gone through ups, they've gone through downs and they're still together and their resilience is something from days of your. Like this is a magical thing that these two have. Look at the caption. - I think they'll all learn a lot. They're grieving parents too. They have lost several baby. - Yeah, Jackie and Shadow displays the resilience and devotion to each other. I hope they move on and possibly have another clutch of eggs. - Yes, I'm trying to remember what happened to their OG eggs. - A raven. - A raven ate them. And I'm a fan of ravens, that's the thing. If I was watching a GoPro video of the raven, I'd be clapping, I'd be cheering, my shirt would be off. If I would have the R, I would probably recruit a AV in, you know, to be in the stands cheering for raven. Unfortunately, I'm on Jackie and Shadow side. So this was sad to see it and they still stuck together. I do hope that they have another clutch of eggs, I'm on that, I'm on, I subscribe to that. - What was that animal that kind of recently was being filmed and they were pregnant but it was a macular conception? - Was it the mountain lion? - No, it was definitely an aquatic. - I think it was a gator. - Was it a stingray? - Yeah, it was a stingray then. - It was a stingray, what happened to the pregnant stingray? - They figured out that it was not a macular conception at all, like one of the other stingrays fucked it. - No, but there were no other stingrays. - It's something else had happened. Like something had had sex. - I think maybe it wasn't pregnant. - Was it full of gas and forrets? What did it have happening? - It's sick. Charlotte. This is a year ago. She's saying Charlotte alone, singer is pregnant. Akira, I'm not saying she's sick. Okay, it seems like a cover-up now. Like not to be conspiracy theorist, but like, maybe the justice. - Well, you might have had a hysterical pregnancy. - Broke, you shouldn't say that. - That's a genuine, that's a real thing. - She died. - She passed away. The major update, okay, they killed her. - A rare reproductive disease. - She was very vocal about not being suicidal and then now she's dead. - It was a mass or fluid buildup rather than actual babies. - Yeah, say that a lot. They love to say that it was a fluid buildup. - Confirming her death after months of medical issues. - Yeah, right, right. - That's so upsetting. - Wake up people, like this should not be happening so often. - When else did it happen? - How many whistleblowers died during that Boeing thing? They were full of fluid too. - I wonder what ever happened there. - It's funny. We haven't heard anything from the Boeing folk in a while. By the way, Boeing, huge fan, love your work. I have to fly tomorrow. - Are you going to LA tomorrow? - No, I'm going to Super Bowl tomorrow. - The Super Bowl tomorrow? - It's on Sunday. - Then how are you going tomorrow? - I'm going out to Stanford just go tomorrow. - Is that where the Super Bowl is? - Yes. - Wow. - Yeah, I'm very excited. - That will be amazing. - Patriots are going. - Who's in the big game this year? - Patriots. - I'm such a, like, so, so, so, so, so stoked. Listen to this, Aiden, our friend is just a huge fan. I'm going with Abercrombing Fish. - Wow. - But yeah, I'm stoked on that, but he bought a ticket 'cause he's such a Patriots fan. He's from Boston. - How much does it take to the Super Bowl run you? - I didn't ask, but like, he's like, this happens once in a lifetime. I'm gonna go. - Well, I'm just curious. Not saying this is how much he paid, but it, whoa, it's a pretty severe range. It's 4,500 to over 50,000. - That is just in, in say-- - That is crazy. Okay, sorry, continue. - No, that's all I really had, but listen to my travel schedule coming up. - Is it gonna get me hives? - Yeah. I mean, my, it's not lost on me how incredible the things I'm about to say are. It's like, this is like when I'm like my life is a movie, this is like Timothy Chalamet. What am I about to say? I'm going to San Francisco for the Super Bowl. I'm coming L.A. to you guys. We're gonna record in person. It's gonna be amazing. I'm gonna leave you, I'm gonna go to Vancouver for my just for last show, which I'm so excited about. You know how much I love Vancouver. And it's gonna be huge. I think I'm playing this theater that I really like. And then I leave Vancouver and I fly from Vancouver to Milan for the Olympics. Oh, we need to chat about that. I'm out of town for the Olympics. Oh, we'll be fine. Okay. Yeah. We'll be fine. We're gonna record twice. Yes. Why did I tell you that? - Just 'cause it's insane. - Yeah, I'm so excited. - I think I might be going to New York in April. - What? - Will you let me know your dates when you get a second? - Yeah, I don't have 'em, but. - Okay. I did a show, okay, get this. You wanna hear something crazy? - Oh god, yeah. - Okay, I'm done burping you guys. Please stop. I did a show with Noel last night. Our boss, Noel. - How was that? - It was great. I'm doing a show with Noel Miller. I'm thinking, oh, I'm opening. And I was, I was opening. So I'm thinking, I got 15. I love opening, you know, it's 15 minutes. Usually like when I did it with Jake Shane, like people don't, the stakes are very low for me. I'm doing 15 minutes at the top. Going out as an opener, people already, they viscerally react to jokes. I don't know, the science of it at all, 'cause you know I used to go out first and when I go out at the end to close, people were so excited to see, you know, happy and then excited. It's 'cause they were warmed up. You have to warm up the ground. And I didn't notice that until I started having openers that like, oh, going out cold and you're the first person they see, there's a visceral reaction to, you could say the funniest joke in the world. They don't just go stone face. They actually frown. They go, hmm, go home, you know? So I think I'm getting there. It was at the The College of New Jersey, which fabulous place. - Okay, I've never actually heard of that. Do you know where on New Jersey? - The deep. College of New Jersey. - Where New Jersey is the College of New Jersey? - It's in Central Jersey. - Okay. - The place that doesn't even exist, really, if you think about it. Now, I get there, all right, I'm almost there. It's like two hours from Manhattan. And then I'm like, cool, you know, I'm just doing 50 minutes to go, no, no, no, you have an hour, you're doing like 45, doing an hour tonight. I go, oh, that changes things. I didn't figure out to like 15 minutes away that I was doing like 45 minutes. But it was a great show. It had so much fun. - And you just kind of-- - And I have a show tonight. - Pivoted on the spot. - I pivoted. - Wow. - Pivot, yeah, you pivot. That's what you have to do. - A master of your trade. - Ah, I don't think they don't be crazy broke. Don't be crazy, seriously. - All right, champ, I have to use the restroom. I'm sure you do too. - We're just ending on me like just telling you stuff about what happened to me. Like I don't want to end on that. - Well, what would you like to end on? - I want to end on something. And you can walk away whenever you feel uninterested. I just want to like bring something to light. Remember when there was, when libubus started coming out and there was like a group of people that was like these are demonic, like create, like these are harboring demonic spirits. You can go pee. I can just, I can handle this. - No, it's all good. - I really truly think I'm on their side now. When libubus came out and they've quietly like kind of faded into the back and they were being three printed. They were like a chia in and they're like at every bodega and they're at every kiosk at the mall. They're spraying perfume. They're putting a slip at a libubu in your bag. They're selling them and it's like by, spend this much money, get a libubu. I do think that maybe they might have been harboring some sort of spirit from the like a dark spirit. 'Cause things have really gone, I'm not one of those people that's like, "Oh, we're in hell." Everything that I, like the world ended in 2020 and this is hell, but I do think that maybe libubus might have brought something, brought something with them. I'd like to look into the origin of libubus and who created them and what was the reason and was it just cute or was there an underlying? Hmm, maybe it's a thinker. Maybe we dive into that in bonus. - Okay, we can also look at how Matt Rife's ownership of that haunted object. - I really think Annabelle. - Thing is going. He owns Annabelle.
