What in the blue. How was that you con 103 PC 98 the Huskies somehow some way I'm all the way back down from a Proposterous deficit Wapping 3.2 chance of winning by the way on the friars are up there under five come all the way back and win and over time Got to say probably a breakout game for Brian Mullins tonight Silas Dimmerry Jr With just an old-ass man performance tonight Alex Carabin kind of bring it up the rear with 23 But dude, I don't even really know where to start with this game the early mania. This was We've seen some games the last couple of years I don't know where do you even want to start with this Just another night, or they give us nothing to talk about that's It's a great question As great as the winners and as amazing it is will be objective. I mean, well, well, let's I guess let's start with the beginning That the first half is unacceptable Especially coming off of Sunday In a game like this against the team that's coming off of a big win that it's this is their big home game of the year right and This is their big shot and they've given you come hell in that building forever and You know that there it's about intensity and emotion and and to be that Just unengaged for 20 minutes Defensively was really disappointing and it looked like last year It was really unacceptable. They were fortunate not to be down 25 at the half Really a bizarre first half or everybody was hitting everything from three and nothing inside the paint on the Yukon side of things and I guess that's where we can zone in first on and it was led by Terrace whose first half was just Terrible amenable, it was really that Abominable it was radioactive nuclear goo and the reason why the night The reason why this was a scary matchup beyond just the history and stuff and the Providence coming off the big win is that this Providence roster Has it performed, but the roster is built they have a lot of big dudes big wings, but in us when they have a guy who physically is Bolt very similar to terrace. He's not as like cut not as muscular, but he can go in there and bang inside with terrace and just Go body to body with him and he was doing it for all first half and us when was just killing in the first half Us went alone in the first half. That was when he had all of his impact yet He had six six points and four rebounds in the first half which was for the game for the rest of the game He only had three rebounds and two points because he got into foul trouble And he got into foul trouble because in the second half hot balls Terace Reed did the full Hulk Hogan 1987 set he like he hooked up at halftime and in the second half Terace looked like a different player Yeah, I mean, I thought a lot of them look like different players the second half, but I Think absolutely their worst half of the season. I Don't even know if they've played a half that comes close to that first half that was I don't really have words to say like I tweeted this out earlier That like Dan Hurley teams the one thing I really do appreciate about them is when when they do meltdown There's not like something goes wrong here and a little oops if we just did a little bit more over there Like the whole thing just melts in real time Dan melt in real time a defense looks like shit like Can't throw basic passes like Everybody goes to shit and it was really just a matter, you know for breaking down You know the first half of just finding out what the shinyest turd and the toilet bowl was and you know clearly all year, you know, they've They've had rough starts offensively, you know and they haven't They've been fine that they haven't looked great offensively with the exception of maybe that early in the first half against avia this year and Probably a mass low game, which is whatever. You know, they haven't looked like a steam roller yet offensively and they've had some rough games The defense has always been there to carry the day, you know, and when it gets a little cold, they're able to kind of ratchet it up shut the water off a Little bit and scratch and claw their way Back into games the first half They look like madadors out there and look. I'm you know, you know, probably would say this is my first critical moment of Dan all year I don't know how many times Providence ran that high screen Outside the three-point line and we bid on it probably can pass 11 times maybe more because they ran the same play close to 15 times and the most basic place not It's not like somebody slipping in a screen in our offense or you know a lot of fancy off-ball movement just a simple screen And as it's not rotating and biting on double team and giving them wide open looks for threes which you know we can Say what I say about that roster they can score it So you know just an abysmal first half. I mean, they're getting out tough done rebounds They were sped up Really Taking shots a lot earlier in the off a lot earlier in the shot clock. I've seen them do all year You know a lot of like one two passes, you know chuck a bad shot a lot of floaters and the lane You know what's surprisingly in the first half is almost kind of like watching the upside down right like good from what we've seen all year Where you know defense has been really good rim finishing is pretty good. We're good at getting in the lane Just really struggled for three from three and tonight the first half We're pretty good from three and could not score at the rim. I don't know what the numbers were right now It was like one for ten at one point. It was one for seven on layup set half time One for seven. That's what it was. Okay, so yeah, so one for seven on layups and they couldn't Defend their own shadow. So you know go down in the locker room 10 and you know Dan goes and has his first meltdown Of the year and gets technical to open up the second half with so I mean, you know We talk about this all the time. We say this every single episode. They were gonna have a meltdown game at Some point like every single team in the country has every great team we've ever had has had a meltdown game This is a program that lost a seat in hall two years ago with a generational killing machine and managed to get our starting center hurt and Watch game Spencer kick balls off scoring table You know it's We it happens. It's it's gonna happen and it really felt like that in the first half where there was just so much going Wrong on so many in so many different directions that you know, I know people don't like to hear this But there's just some nights with college basketball players where you just sort of throw your hands up in the air and go well It's gonna be one of the those nights, but It was not one of those nights Shockingly it was not The player who probably was the best you come player the only one who could kind of feel pride in his first half was Siles Excuse me. Siles had seven assists at the half um, and was one of many Huskies who had joined it on the three party the one thing they did well in the first half Washoot threes it nine threes in the first half I think I'm upset at the other end. It was crazy the the the three point shooting met only countered by how terrible Yukon's finishing was inside They looked soft. They were getting out muscled out tough. The intensity level was all on Providence's side And it's upsetting because like did no this shit should be a surprise and I know the coaching staff knows that I'm they drilled into him what it was gonna be like but You know they're 18 to 22 year old guys and sometimes should happens and so they take a A huge body blow at the half time and then get the tee at the half then it can't happen because like it's not even a firearm up Technical foul. It's right. So they're in the locker room. They're coming out so Providence gets three points right out of half So it's really a 13 point deficit at the half before we can't touch us the ball to start the second half And they chip away and they get down to five at one point But every time a couple times they made the push they would just Heads would kind of disconnect silences going nuts railing is hitting threes from all over the place Alex is getting better terraces arrived Um a couple of big things happen one of them is that uh Jones knocks his shoulder out again Which was huge in the flow of the game He was having a great game and then he comes out and Oswin getting into foul trouble and those two things Without Jones or Oswin in there it was just whatever terrorists wanted to do inside now that he was participating So that really changed the game, but at the end of the The end all that you're down the level of three to go and Providence part of it is in the first half. They really sped you kind of providence as a tempo team The game was played on their pace. It was played in a high tempo Providence was putting a press on Yukon. It wasn't an intense press, but it was making Yukon have to begin engaged the length of the court and Providence during the kind of different ones with two on two late in the second half Yukon didn't I think they turned it over twice out of the press But it was still a sign of the intensity that Providence was bringing Yukon Wasn't ready for in the first half and in the second half they you know they make a couple of runs, but When Silas goes out Malachi comes in that the deficit grows again Malachi had another I don't really rough night He ended up only in the second half. I'm pulling up the box here He only played one minute in the second half And a minute he came in I think the lead went from like six back to 11 so Yeah to go back to Silas again, but at the end all that three minutes to go you're down 11 points right on the road of Providence Ryan Mella Mella hits this amazing coast-to-coast behind the back lie up to make it a 11 point game and you think the party's over But it isn't it isn't the party maybe over the circus getting started The no the party was over and the circus had begun Because Yukon then It's it's threes they put on a full-court press Which doesn't really generate a lot of doesn't generate turnovers, but Yukon We spent the game up again in a situation where Yukon at the end of the game needed the speed of the game up They needed to be more possessions and Providence played right into it. They weren't really running clock And the game's bleeding away bleeding away there was a Close-looking like out of bounds Carl where I'm shocked. Kind it and challenge it Even if you want to loss the challenge when your team is taking a standing eight count collapse and this Providence team has imploded down the stretch in Three or four of their seven losses. They have done not quite this bad, but they've done shit like this Right this Providence team has this in them and for him not to take the challenge and worst thing you lose the time out You need your guys to come out of the fog And also there was a close one at overtime. I'm a shocked. He didn't do the challenge just to try and You just got a hope that they come out of it and the the more that game was just allowed to keep going the way it was The better you count chances were and in the last minute is insane It features Duncan Powell who this year was three for 21 from three Hitting the third of his three consecutive three see hit after half time Dude what is going on with the haircut? Oh the whole thing listen Providence we said has a long list of some spectacular looking humans playing for that team, but Duncan Powell is the Hall of Famer that too I'm an ugly man holy shit like that But he had a great night and he was hitting three's great energy guy And This so he and it was he and Alex carabiner trading keys if I told you that 645 pm that the last minute of this game would feature Duncan Powell and Alex carabiner trading three's Uh then they get the they get the stoplight and I thought silence was gonna win it from 65 feet because it would have been the 14th weirdest thing to happen in the previous two and a half minutes Um, but I'm not kidding with the tweet. I would have died right there right now. I've been it um Doesn't go down. They get the big stop and they go to OT They get the four point lead early Then Providence, you know comes back and they pull it away, but man it's just braille and Mullins and Carabiner Alex was really great the last five minutes of the game and OT was nails and nobody enjoyed that one more than he did With the way he was reacting at the buzzer, which was great um He was he was I never have to come back here again. They're not hosting the assembly tournament I'm gonna tell these people to fuck off and never come back So good for you Alex you earned it um Yeah, just sensational stuff From Alex brawlin another coming out party But silence the first big east player since 2017 to post 23 and 15 and it came uh just incredible and as as Many issues as there are with these last two games Silence is starting to really break out. I think offensively and that's that's a positive to take from the night just in all time when Uh in that building 103 98. I don't even know where to go. That's insane. They won that game 3.2% chance of winning that game down the stretch 3 point feels high feels high um Once they got it so T.I. felt good, but yeah, it was 7.8% chance of winning that game for Providence 97.8 Yeah, and I really like him personally. He's a very nice guy's been kind to me personally like him really had a rough one The the way they managed the last 40 seconds of out team made no sense Uh, and then fires just gets the literally the coup d'état with the with the pull-up phase them not knowing who to foul Uh, in the last minute was crazy and deciding the answer was nobody that's the crazy part just pick someone Just pick someone Somebody anybody What are we doing? Also Terris not picking up the fifth Was amazing. They they attacked. Terris. I want to give Terri credit in the when he got the four the rest of the game the way he played He was really aware of the four fouls thing because it was a very quiet night for Eric Rive, but he's a freshman. He had a freshman night and Um, so he knew he had to be in there. So great job by Terris I his game is insane tonight his second half of two was good as the first half was bad I don't know what was going on, but we got there We crossed the we crossed the finish line on fire and upside down, but we were the first car over the line. So You kind of proves to 15 and one The whopping three bench points tonight too, by the way we got out that was twenty four forty one to three Providence bench outscores tonight By the way huge and the whole comeback Jalen Stewart who did not have a great night Got lost a lot. I have to check the box for fouls committed I feel like he committed a lot of the fouls inside that were really sloppy But hit a huge three in the comeback and those are the three bench points they got tonight Who's total? We had one foul tonight What? Oh, okay, so I apologize. I felt like you got burned on. I felt we saw a lot. I saw a lot happening There's a lot of sloppy sloppy hands. He fouls. There's a lot of sloppy things here's moving up guys off to assignments It didn't make sense. Oh the one in the first half by the lawyer when when you come was all out of sorts offensively inside the arc Or Jalen tried to turn a five footer into let me fire this to terrace for a three footer That might have been the deer of the first half But give Stewie credit man he was there mentally he played a huge role defensively to get the game back and hit a huge three like that To get the own to you everything all the weird shit that happened all of it has to happen You have to learn all of the chambers up to pull that off and he lined up Three of the big ones. He may have even had the strip at the end that allowed Mount Silas to get the heave. I'll have to check again. It was in the paint. It was great interior defense to not foul and Just wow just the wild insane Basketball game, I think and I'm glad we're doing the space because like normally when I do these I love doing them a very small poem is like But I'm only I'm not getting a lot of sleep tonight. I would be away until 3 a.m If I didn't do this show, so I'd rather do it here with you guys and share What that was just bonkers. This is like the totally impregnious basketball games. I can remember in a long time we saw We saw the world tonight But good in the bad we saw God And he smiled or she I have a couple of drinks and go home when you can Bring it entire 30. Yeah, it's the whole thing was the the John Boyz Famous tweet about about play off hockey over time. Yeah When you can just snort cocaine jump out of a helicopter. That's what pull off over time hockey is that's what tonight was The last three minutes, especially the last minute the whole last minute was like There shouldn't be that many possessions in a game that's like that, but We came out on the right side of it that thank God because That's gonna be a fun tape to break down ahead of the Paul on Saturday. There's a lot. They got to clean up There's a lot, but yeah, I mean a lot of But like I'm gonna enjoy the show this like I'm a big metrics guy I don't care that tonight was bad for the metrics can like can we enjoy that that this is it's not the best win under Dan Hurley They've won two national championships That's like the most fun one though because then you said a post game that either beat people by like 40 or lose They don't see this a lot And they don't do tonight They the closest was the you better get us now game. They almost did it But they didn't uh the Xavier game in in Charleston would which went to a team, but they didn't win it I can't think of a just bad shame for your game and 2023 or Andre Jackson decided that you thought he was Steph Curry for the first six minutes of the game and We almost came all the way back and didn't but usually like I haven't seen them play This bad and put it back together probably ever In the early year. I'm trying to think of another game where Yeah, my my half time tweet was actually hope literally was like terrorist I mean at the half I was I was Optimistic the only optimism was like terrorists can't play that bad for a whole game And he was so bad and then the the shit regressed Completely the other way and he was huge in the second half Against a province team that man they've recruited really well the last few years. That's a really talented roster. It's a really well-built roster Uh, it's just man. They they have gacked some up here and It makes what they did on Saturday funnier. I guess Uh, could be did it the other way to St. John's yeah, who's no longer right if you didn't hear that uh, no they aren't Preseason number one team in America According to some but Yeah, I mean, don't get how going off like I'm still trying to wrap my head by white Cory Floyd Jr Having by far his best game against you kind like he was great tonight for them. He was really good Uh, Vax actually had a rough night. Vax is the guy I thought they would be worried about and Ryan Mellow had a really strong night Jones is great like they've got really good young building blocks and they're just if you want to make the defense They're young and they they're not ready to win a game like this, but like they were probably ready to win the Virginia Tech game Uh, which they didn't So they've got the roster to be competitive in the top half of this. I like them I thought they were the fourth best team in the league coming into the year That hasn't happened yet, but the bottom half of the league is so bad they might finish both Uh, it wouldn't surprise me with the talent they've had and what they've shown the last five days after a two-week break to do that So whatever they did in that two weeks, it's working. It's tonight's a signal for them and that's what we love it, but um, yeah, that's I'm going to be very interested to watch them going forward because they've they put together back to back performances against the two best teams in the league They would make you think they could be a factor in the league yet. They're not going to get in that large bid but uh, you kind of a lot to clean up ahead of Saturday, but Just I'm hopeful we can sleep by then. I just The bench Getting the forty-what downscrewed forty-one three on the bench is hilarious points in the painstaking even up malachi smith for four minutes tonight Not ideal um in this so in the first half You can't get out scored by eight in the paint in the first half So for the rest of the game you con went plus eight So they got completely punked on the inside in the first half and we're only in the game because of the threes so Yeah, that must have been a hell of a half-time for Dan on several levels, but Message received for the officials as well. Oh wait that like they weren't down at the at the half because the refs like that's part I didn't like it like it your team having not having intensity and getting punk isn't because the refs call the couple of shooting falls, but Comes with they didn't know what two minutes to go so this is improvement and Andrew is having a good time on Instagram with it. That's very funny post if you haven't seen it The favorite college basketball team. Yeah, probably it's got fryers Just what three huskies play 41 minutes by the way Alex broman's playing 41 minutes He was sensational. Just fearless so many great young players in this game that like for the future the well When broman's future in the big east is about two and a half months, but Yeah, wow, but they're gonna they're gonna need to clean a lot of it up and it really a lot of it starts with Malachi Smith because You know if we get this title's going forward. It's yay great But like they need Malachi to be serviceable and this has been a few games now. So yeah Yeah, I've had my fill of lackluster Malachi performances Yeah, you got to get turned this is this is a little bit of the book on him too. This This is kind of in his previous stops. He hits these lulls Like in the middle of the season and he pulls out of him So you got to hope that with it with a great coaching staff. They can they can get him out of it And they're gonna need to but 103 98 we should bring other folks in I can't talk about this game anymore. I'm going to collapse Yeah, it's time to let the winners wine Hot dog the Yukon Husky season is here the good folks mark roll souls Here to help you keep you fueled so you can keep foot on gas Throughout the year hot dogs kobasa sausages deli meats you name it not only can you grab what you need for the big game at the retail store 45 Grove Street in new Britain. They'll even bring the meats to you and ship them across the country. That's mark roll souls Official sponsor of the Connecticut basketball spaces weener whiter line now folks Uh, it is Time to get to the meat tonight's show and by that we mean the mark roll souls weener whiter line will be taking calls and check ins here for the next hour or 10 I don't know To process this nonsense for everybody in the queue just hang tight. I'm just bringing in a few at a time Don't freak out. I am going to get to you By the biggest winner of the night was me when that pregame injury reports said the whole team was healthy Not just because the whole team was healthy, but because it meant I didn't give anyone the flu A lot of people had some hot takes about how they thought tonight's game Was going to go down that that might have been wrong, but that's okay One of the people that is not wrong or at least he seems to think so Is no escalators so What were your takes on tonight's game? Well, I'm gonna start with the most amusing thing I saw and uh it came from Dan Madigan picked it up, which is that they're on Twitter four days ago an account posted a clip of a D2 several d2 games played by northern michigan Running a what's called a flex action which went viral It's got like a ton of likes and views And it wasn't invented by this team as pendants in the reply to that post Like to point out, but it's the first time I had seen you con run it I'm not like an amazing film watcher so maybe they've had it in the arsenal But it's what you con ran To get terrorist the layup with one minute left and over time you can compare the two clips on my timeline but it I just love the image of like Dan scrolling on his burner And seeing this clip and we like oh, let's let's drop that in at the end of over time tonight that I don't know since then how it happened no escalators hop-alls We're sitting at time more Who's named did I drop to him at the end of the thing on Sunday? You won't remember his name Mike Macsack the head coach northern michigan I'd mentioned that this guy was going viral and they run a lot of good stuff I do not think the team went and watched it because I dropped the name But yeah that that that was very funny that that was the play the day chose to run in that spot was the Twitter Yeah, the the other thing that that makes me happy and is a nice little statistical thing Prior to the game tonight Yukon Was shooting 34.4% for through it from three which is a hundred and fifty third Ranked nationally right now they're up to 36.4 on the season so they lifted themselves two full percentage points in one game And good for 64th nationally almost climbed to hundred spots, which is some amazing aggression to the main Yeah, it's it they fixed the three-point shooting it only took everything else breaking for it that but they did it yeah And the the third thing that makes me happy is we got this out of the way tonight instead of six days from now My projection for how we will do a new work is significantly improved now that they've lived through this and survived Well, it better be because let me be the first to wish you a happy birthday when I realized that that is your birthday also And that I'm pretty certain you're going. I was like it can't happen this year. Don't do that to him Yeah, um, I just got a text from somebody who had a thought that that I did by the way, which is that Despite your denials you very much believe you were the reason that northern Michigan play made it into the And I'll let you have that I yeah, I do I do I mean we're all very glorious. What can I mean? It is Like it is fun and I am happy uh bigger picture A lot of concerns a lot of the things that have been Concerning uh not Silas by the way, Silas was incredible and I hope this augurs for for great things ahead But it's sort of the very good not Elite level type performance you worry about Um, they they slipped a little in the metrics Uh, you just Providence is a is a really is not a good team nobody in this conference save Maybe a couple teams on their good nights is a is a really good team and it's the type of team that this this game should not have been that close There should not have been a three point six percent chance of winning with with three minutes left Uh, I still have the the hope they'll go 20 and oh, but it's just You'd like to see it see it all clicking and what's a little concerning is that the games where it's felt like it's it's clicked I think if you somebody goes back to the recording of the the Xavier space I said like I'm gonna be I'm happy that We blew them out, but they they sure missed a lot of open threes and the just like we hit a lot the The good three point luck we've had kind of disappear tonight and that I think led to a lot of the The toughs right it's like this is a team that you know if they if they played a good team Tonight they would have lost if they didn't get Otherworldly hot from three they would have lost and that's not ideal. So Some mild concerns, but look it was a great win and you love the the toughness Yeah, all all very solid and fair points tonight. I am I am a math fan and you always have to be there because you do know to deep down I know that you're right and it's that's me and the last thing I'll say is this did remind me Of another Yukon game Another great exciting win that's that's honestly one of my fondest Yukon game memories um It was from February of a year That that will come to the year in a moment as as I as I end here It was a little bit the reverse because you've gone had a big lead and gave up like a 20 to two run to their opponent Which was Notre Dame in the Hartford Civic Center and They hit a buzzer beater to force over time and then then one and over time and it was like super thrilling And exciting, but it was a Notre Dame team Yukon probably should have blasted. So it's I was a student. I was there It was a great great Time and it is a great great regular season memory for me But I bring it up mostly because would you guys like to guess guess what year that occurred in maybe mr. Hotball specifically I can't remember off top my head that would be the 2006 Yukon basketball team Which Marcus Williams hit a buzzer beater bank shot to force over time Um, and just you know, we chatted about this some the other day the sort of unbelievable talent in All up and down the roster, but it's just never quite clicking. I just sometimes get a little bit in the same vibes Which I I really enjoyed 2006 until it ended and I'm I'm hoping everything clicks into place at some point because I'd like to enjoy this year and more Yeah, I don't think you're looking that long and it definitely has that like Bive with it where I don't know if I can Trust them feel like I yeah, I don't know if I can trust them Um, they play with their food a little bit their their stats that elements certainly in there although I think it might be a little overstated But there's just something and I can't Like precisely put my finger on it, you know, it was to like what I I feel like it's off But there's it's off From the standpoint of like them going from being what they are now like The killing machine the good news is I mean they have time to get there. I think potential for that is still there Um, but definitely has that that That undertone to it I want to see them melt somebody really badly like just do something. Yeah Yeah, no, they have you know, that's why I'm I'm really I don't want to be the Debbie downer But like that's the Knery and the coal mine is the bad shit like it's fun tonight and if we should enjoy it But like the shit has to get fixed because like you do it against nine and six Providence at works You do that again in the second round and your season is over Yeah, I mean only eight second round There's this shit is serious so Uh, all very fair points All right Penfield by what I totally mangled map map Mazrach is the name of the coach nor the Michigan. I'm texting him about the play now. I'm gloating. Go ahead Penfield Um, I mean I I'm incredible win, right? Uh, they really dug deep on that one and um Silas in particular was like Almost dragged that team to the finish line um and uh braille and has some huge colonies like that play where you hit the three um to win the game basically um Coming out of that in bounds Silas like walked over to him and Sad basically the play they were gonna run they ran on the court and then he hit that three it was awesome um So yeah, I I'm not as concerned like obviously there's like You don't want to be in a game like that with Providence But at the same time it's it's the game that they look forward to more than anything probably Survivor a great game and those guys were hitting ridiculous shots um Whatever the guy with the crazy haircut was made three trees like don't could Pal yeah, Duncan Kyle like hitting the That's the other side of the That's a comment landing on your head Yeah And you've just survived it Duncan Kyle will never do that. He is look up his inner lock first of all You're gonna see some wild schools and this is his fourth one Not Steph Curry Thinksy is though um Yep, the last three hit with like I don't know Tarris was in his face It's like yeah Tarris was like what do we do? Yeah um So Yeah, but um I thought one of the big things that was kind of surprising to me And it was good coaching tonight was On see um the lineup that Hurley put out there at the end with solo on the bench and He doesn't really do that very often, you know, he kind of sticks with his starters Even if they're not having a great game um So that was big and I think we like down the stretch like having stewie in there With the defensive effort um it really helps so Now he made the right moves I know hopefully solo bounces back. Yeah, yeah, what was solos plus minus? Yeah, and I saw from my mention was I'll check Oh, it probably was I actually thought in the second half. I didn't think he was that bad I didn't think like you know he was terrible, but he hit minus night minus 19 Um jalen was plus 18 so there you go and I didn't think solo was like the reason or anything Like when it was bad. I wasn't even really thinking about solo to be honest Um, it was kind of world a team thing and the terrorist thing really stood out but um It looked like solo last year defensively tonight for whatever reason But then in the pregame for this game One of the questions he got what weirdly with he it led to him answering I think it was about numbers And metrics and something and he talked about it's important to To still you know coach with your got sometimes and that was a example tonight was he saw how it was going and that's coaching That's it. He's just Like if it was me they'll win for a million reasons including I don't know how to coach. So I'm just gonna look at numbers and shit and you can't just do that and win You have to have game feel and they had had a really good game feel tonight in the second half an onward And he knew what was working they took solo out they put that other unit in that was actually getting stops for the in a game where there were no stops Available for anybody. We are all out. We were fresh out We found a couple in reserve and it was with him on the bench and more than that It wasn't as much taking solo out. I thought it was more putting jail and then yeah jail and defensively I hope basically wins of the game. Yep 100% So they have balls penfield hurley mania all i williams here long-time listener first time on all Earth. We'll get you in a second man Alps that now i was gonna say my final thought was again you don't want to be in a team like this but I think that's will this will be good for the team you know like They've had to face something like this and the biggest obviously isn't great this year. So Whatever just move on and hopefully we crushed a pole inside of it That would be nice You know it would be and i do all you the stylish challenge I am trying to physically be able to to just drink water without that so if you need any tips Water I might be able to have that but Thank you. Thank you. I've last couple days. I've been practicing Thank you. Thank you penfield appreciate that and what you're doing with the fundraising is so we're gonna go We're gonna go to John next then Ali you'll be after him and then we're gonna do Annie and patio then passionate about that thought i just don't want to look at your name right now That's what i'm gonna go ahead Sure, so a couple big takeaways from tonight. First one is Caravan needed a big spot to prove himself as an NBA player right there And i think he did that tonight and that's kind of what he's been playing for for the past few On the past few years is he needed that time where he showed up where he could take over a game and and come up with some big shots and The other one was the the pure shock at a hurly when he when he came alive in the post game conference when he was talking to The party's like We lose these games, you know, we always always lose these games and and He could not have been more surprised and you never see him respond like that And i thought that was a huge moment for the program where he was like this is a different type of team But but my question to you two a hurly man and hot balls is We need a big man to win these championship games if you look at you know We had clinging and you know before that we had sonogo But is is terraced read that big guy where we can win those big games and I think he might be and and i feel like this is a different type of team where we could pull that but Those two things combine with caravan trying to find an NBA contract and then we got You know terraced reach and hold down from the front. So one of you from you guys you think terraced we can take us to the promised land You um I think like the way i guess i look at terraced right now um I think he's a slight step down from where donovan and The no go worse like leading guys i think a skill set his ceiling is every bit As much there um There's a mental disconnect with him man, especially defensively at nights Um where the consistency just isn't there and i don't want to come off like i'm i'm killing the guy Um true who's a very very very very very good College basketball center like very good sonogo and klingon are probably two of the top three or four bigs We've ever had In the program in a program that has had some unbelievable big Over the years right um totally good enough for what we need him to be and and but for him to kind of realize his ceiling Like i'm sort of less worried about the physical gifts and Just more about like the brain catching up with the body at times like Never been a guy. That's like a super high basketball like you guy I want to see the passing out of the post be a little bit better. There's times where it looks fine There's times where it doesn't um There's times where like you know He's got the paint locked down There's times where he's getting You know completely lost on like basic pick and rolls Um There's times where he looks Dominating back to the basket and there's other times We're dribbling and the high post like there's just There's a lot more in and out with him. I think he's a lot more you know along the bay You know in the vein of maybe not you know all American type guy But like at all conference kind of guy that that's that's going to be what they need to be the difference. I think For terrorists is You know um he's great at the rim, but the number of offensive weapons on the perimeter that this team has Um if they can get that to fire like That's going to be more than fine What he's giving so like I don't I don't want to come off and saying uh In saying that like I'm worried or you know or anything like that, but I I personally feel like it's it's safe to say at this point like it that's That's where I see him is being I mean if you need for guys over 20 points in the starting lineup. It's it we're in good shape But at the same time it it comes down before I want in uh We got the whole experience tonight. We did you know like if you see what second half Tereserie it was tonight like and we can get that out of consistent basis like that is That's terrifying. Uh we have first half Tereserie Uh and any setting and that's the double a tournament. It could be a long night, man So like he's got to be able to kind of find that That consistency. I haven't seen that on the level like that's not to say that like You know, I've gone. I didn't have his growing pains too, right like we always used to talk the joke about the black hole that he was In 22 and you throw the ball in the post would have a hard time getting out of there um, but like I look at you know where Sonogo was You know junior years opposed to where Reed is now like Sonogo. I feel like just overall was Way farther down the road than than Teres was and that's not a knock on Teres as much as it is I'd test him to how good Sonogo was Yeah, now do you think that we need that that type of big man to win uh to make a runner or what do you think that we need to to capitalize on this? I i'll take that one. I think we need it less More than what we needed from the other to the guys we mentioned simply because There's not as many great dominant big band you're probably going to run into I mean all needed if they face his old team if that happens they're going to need it But that's a huge Skip face somehow getting that position and also if you want to have hope and you should feel great about the win But if you're like a little nervous about the performance look what Michigan did last night It happens it happens to everybody You might as well win when it does um, I think that the terrorist thing I think he's absolutely good enough to lead into the promised land But my my concern is that it's like the when it busts man it busts like that the first half tonight was maybe the worst of it But like when it's bad it looks kind of like that and that's what concerns me on it because With the other guys when they would struggle. I mean the edama maybe would you know The bar wouldn't come out, but it wasn't like he would still rebound Like terrorist wasn't boxing anybody out the first down So that's why concerned with it like with terrorist the low end of terrorists is not good enough But they got the elite level tonight second half onward that can absolutely leave them there if they if they can build the offense with the other guys If they're getting brailin going off and Alex is having a really big night And salsas having a good night. Then it's really not as big of a deal if terrorists is just like fine true He can't be a he can't be a zero though Because they're gonna attack it So that's what that's the other the other good news about it is the condition who has incredible level of skill and talent Is that they don't need him to be like what Donovan or Donnell was because they have so many other weapons Including a weapon those teams had that we still have Alex. He's still here So that that's that's my hope on it and um three things Yeah, things they have to get from terrorists is rim protection Is rebounding right and the ability to get easy buckets like the buckets he wasn't getting And the first half where yeah, you go a little drive from the perimeter. You got the opportunity now that they've always kind of used their pigs is a mean Especially with Seno go to let's just go get an easy to you know and Like that's what they need him to be easy to Rip protection rebounding if he's those three things Um They they got what they needed out of them Yeah, that's a good point boys, but the other day if uh caravan Shows up like it did tonight. That's good for the program. So appreciate you fellas Thanks Chris Ali finally let you off the leash man. What do you got for us brother? Great game tonight unbelievable Unbelievable atmosphere down there in Providence. I mean PC You kidding me you kind of come to the town. What were they down 11 with three minutes ago Oh P win Maryland mullins six for ten from three. I just wonder if him or Hawkins were Steph in Clay Who would you put as Steph and who would you put as clay Jordan Hawkins Braille and Mullins who's Steph and who's clay NBA comparison I would I would I would go braille and his stuff honestly and Jordan As clay braille and so much better dribbler So I trust him to be able to create things more than I would trust Jordan also Jordan's Got more height more size. I think he's a little bigger Yeah, I mean penfield mentioned earlier that that pass caravan to mullins in the corner sealed the game with that three He just found his spot pulled up delivered nothing but net. You give mullins one inch of space and it's going in I love his you got there were so many times tonight where he just popped up open in corners And at first I was like what is Providence doing but like Because you know like who aren't we gonna like it was funny you kinds very first possession of the game the only good thing that happened in the first half was As as Doddy Marshall was being asked for his first of many soliloquies by John The vegan on what is Providence have to do to win the game tonight in the middle of that solo ball Get's a wide open corner three you kind of night got so many corner looks and that's been a shot They have it knocked down for a couple of years. We've got no escalators has noted it You can't just as bad in corner three's tonight. They finally did what good shooting team should do on those But they got a ton of looks out of the corner tonight. They really did And most most of them they'll just kept moving But yeah, that's all I had I think Moans he moves around without the best ball like like Steph Curry. He's unbelievable. He'll be great in the league And can't wait to see what he does Apparently he can he can get to the rack and dunk on everybody too. I don't know. That's what it That's what they say about him. He can shoot the lights out too Yeah, he has the hops that I mean we saw him dunk on Sunday He's he's gonna throw it out on somebody at some point tonight. It would have been wild. It would trigger to ball would have been great What a night by the way for for his family. They were there Get a new experience that building the way this game is and then their son does that 24 career high That's It's nuts nuts and lights so yeah party so we have this now in At Kansas At Providence. What was the other road game Brella went off it? He had one other road game where he went nuts This kid has been really really great on the road So that's something that we brought we brought this up recently Not even the Xavier game off the check He's been sensational in these really intimidating road environments in the league so far I know the teams are like great. This isn't these aren't high in maybe even Kansas. I ain't crowned but Oh, yeah, I ain't crowned. Yeah, you know and Yeah, by the way, interesting little fact. I hate giving him Any credit whatsoever about anything Put any Nanda Tweeting out tonight. This is the third straight year. You con Matt men's basketball His rallied from a 13 point deficit to be providence Third straight year That that's so misleading. I love the one from three years ago. That's the Devon fugitive classic part. Yeah The 13 point deficit was worth 14 minutes to go in the first half Another another point. I don't say you was an off Stewart Playing on top of the key the entire night tonight. What are he's all of six five six six arms out all over the floor I think he played 40 minutes tonight. I mean offensively might be lost, but defensively he is a presence up at the top of the paint It makes it tough for the offense. You remember in his freshman year His freshman year that biggie's tournament game that was awful, but he like I won't say I want it. You call alone comfortably, but he's what broke that thing open He he basically kind of played center in that game first. Yeah When I mean, okay not about. Donovan was dominant in that game But when Donovan was out, they put Jalen Stewart kind of out there And that's what tonight reminded me a little of what Jalen Stewart when he was all six five They were as a freshman. They were playing him like he was a fool. Yeah And now we're three years later Yep, but yeah, that's it. Uh, thank you. Let's go. Let's go. Husky. Let's go. Husky's keep it rolling Thanks, Ali. Hot balls. We're bringing my close personal for an A&E. I've been hurly has just tweeted Uh, I will I will state it. I don't get as many technical files as people think and tonight was my first technical foul outside of our locker room and quote What a special special man. So there's that Just the best human Unbelievable Hey, how are you doing? Hi guys I am you a lot. Yes I will say more than X's know there was a lot on the line for me personally Yes Could not lose this and I will add to the three-year thing that's not just a Devon card a shot lot three years ago That's the Devon card tweet three years ago, right Which is the curse at Providence? Um the Michael Vick tweet Oh god, I've forgotten about that. That is the curse. Yes, I might sound crazy, but I believe in this one For the folks that don't remember that don't nobody holds a crush like Annie. She's got me beat. It's incredible Uh, yeah Devon cart was it before before the game tweeted a gift of Michael Vick before a game implying like We're killing something called Jonathan Yeah, so and I took that very personally and then you did and then they barked at anyway I'm not gonna get into that because people are gonna think I'm weird, but You're not put here. That's fine. You're not okay. We've already said I thought the first half was like we couldn't get a stop But you also could tell that they were Hitting shots that they've never hit before like there is a couple on Alex where Alex is barely putting his hands up so you can kind of tell that that's not the scout So I wasn't so much like their point. They were fouling a lot, but I didn't feel like they were playing As bad and then I thought Really like I thought I was a coaching masterclass like to have Someone play as bad this terrorist was playing and then To push the right buttons at halftime and have him come out like a different human being Is crazy. That's incredible So I thought and there was a shot at towards the end of the game I don't know if and everyone had the same stream, but where Dan has like a towel on top of his face and he's kind of chatting with the Providence fans That was so good. He knew he had him He like that's when I like oh he and he had a couple sets where like I just I thought he Like unfortunately fortunately for pro for Providence like that was Really different classes of coaches and then in the same Like it's hard to win these games on the road like I wish they won by 30 obviously, but this I think hurts them more I'm not sure I think this hurts them more so I'm happy with that, but and then in the process you find out You know you're talking about who took over the like Alex taking over the game that you three dudes who took over this game And that's good to know right like Silas Every bit of like Christian Newton differently, but every bit of like a dude Right like and there there is a shot of him that's in one and a second half when You would think we'd get a little bit discouraged because we cut it down to five and then they hit like two big threes And then it's 11 and we cut it down to five like it was a bit discouraging of a second half I thought and then there was like a shot of him He's talking to that and he just he does that thumbs up and his face like he could tell if he was Really present and then I was really impressed obviously with him and then yeah, you get them with three dudes who are making really difficult shots Willing to make difficult shots like the mulled shots were difficult Like he's sprinting one way he's jumping turning and hit like that's That's very difficult. So I am a lot of those ones late like his last Two or three like they were on him that release is so quick and it fucking has to be that is a small window Yeah, so I don't know if The shit is the kid process that that fast is incredible Yeah, so they're All fearless I thought the issue with solo he was kind of like giving away fouls. I thought Easily like there are fouls at the top of the The three-point line at you know like hands Braille and had a couple too, but he's much younger than Then solo is so I thought he was so that that might not be a great sign for like down the road I think like these games more so Kind of give information to Dan and the staff on who is really great in the situations because they don't have a ton of like you said A sample size of like these games and who so that's good information for the staff, but I think I don't really care how bad Like that's just a good win to get and it would have looked Been a really annoying loss to have hanging over your head for the next two months like that would have been And next years right like that they might like I might be wrong But they might storm the court if they win this like that mood that is such Oh, yeah, well they have before they've they've They've like multiple times so yeah, I would expect that I Yeah, and the um a couple of what they tried to do late. I noticed and it made sense Was that they were trying to switch to have made to have Mela one-on-one with Braille and that's where you see the difference And we're not going to see it because Braille is going to be playing the Clippers next year not Providence But like Mela is a sophomore and physically he looks so much bigger now than he did last year when it gable He had a pretty good game in that awful game of gamble. He played pretty well You kind of the storm back and Mela you're later looks like you know a bigger dude And that's the difference like Braille and I thought played really well defensively, but That's a hard matchup for him The other thing is there's not a lot of teams in this league that have six seven wings that are that good offensively I know that teams stinks, but they like they have good six seven wings. They have many of them uh, yeah And that was what they tried to do to take advantage of and I thought Braille and hung in there pretty well defensively But there were a couple of times where Yeah, Mela got his and that's gonna happen, but that's something he's gonna have to you know Welcome to the biggest kid like you got it and Dan got him in there to mount the comeback to trust that he's not gonna screw up because he's a freshman that he's gonna have the confidence to Be he's part of the unit that wins the game too defensively So that he is defensive impact is just as big, but Watching him be a floig thrower from three is is is a lot more fun. Yeah, and proves himself to like Can take a punch and give a punch which is really impressive for somebody who doesn't really have these types of These types of games and then I also thought like there is an issue with rebounding at some point And like Providence wanted more for a good part of that game and then in second half we just started diving for balls That we really had no shot in getting, but I think it just got them going a little bit so I I think like Braille had a couple what he dove on the floor and had just like no chance at the ball We're just kind of diving to Dive and I think he got other people going and but anyway. Yeah, that jail is sort of diving and I remember that that was That was interesting it was like I don't know why but all right good get you know That's what you want to see the same thing happens Sunday by the way they got which Sunday was worse They were getting out rebounded by friggin mark hat at the house They had a lid into them. They turned it around second half Today the same thing happened that's not good, but They turned it around and they were way more engaged like if you're right any like boxing out hustling like Did they were just getting beat to every loose ball in the first half? It was so fresh I feel like you just got into this isn't one of those groups that you got to kind of plug into the wall a little bit earlier in the game And and a good way to do that is to throw the press on a little bit earlier You know, we've talked about this with some Yukon teams in the past, you know, I remember back He was 20 21 22 that the early years were Dan Slow starts were a real thing and they started picking up defensive pressure a little bit earlier in the game They just kind of get guys locked into the game on their man, you know, and engage in what you're trying to do And you know, maybe that's what they got to do to get things rolling right out of the gate These guys, but um, you know, yeah, I mean, it's been Too pretty brutal slow starts for them. Yeah, or even the like I find the press I know it's like exhausting to press But it gets them even if it doesn't really work In terms of like getting steals it does feel like it has that effect of Getting everyone involved a lot more, but anyway, I won't take up too much time. I'm thrilled with this win personally emotionally For for them. I'm more happy that they lost in that we won, but I think It gives us great info. We have a bunch of dudes and Yeah, sometimes games are bad, but they took they took punches and they gave them right back. So I happy thrilled Um Yeah, have a good night everyone. That was it Thank you, and thank you, and all right, cheers All right, we're gonna be here. Yeah, no, go ahead. We've seen this team They can take a punch. We know that now. Now, I hope they don't have to take too many, but it is valuable to see that We were talking openly about can they be 20 and oh, which I still don't think is realistic, but like It's not completely insane We now see that they're gonna get a punch in this league and they can respond to it that there is value in that Yeah, they managed to do it on the road, man. I think that the toughest games for them are gonna And a really tough environment to yeah, that's one of the For a Yukon team in that building to do that. That's about as hard of a task as you could come up with other than maybe Creighton. Yeah, I mean, I think Creighton, St. John's and villain over gonna be the three and seen hall are gonna be the three tough away games I think those are the The games I've got my eyeballs on. I would be very surprised to see them drop a game at home Um Would you never know? College athletics is full of surprises Um, all right, we're gonna get moving down the line here, but before we do that folks Uh, quick word from our sponsor here Uh, you want to talk about a Connecticut business nothing comes close to Martin Rolesulls since 1928 Martin Rolesulls has been feeding cranky Huskies fans all over Connecticut and beyond hot dog sausages, gobases and delimates They have everything we need keep jerks like curly mania fed quiet But they didn't threaten to pull their sponsorship over it even a place to frankly just leave them I promise we wouldn't do that to them again. That's Martin Rolesulls At 45 Grove Street in new Britain the official sponsor of the Connecticut basketball spaces we know quite our line All right, gonna keep it moving here uh and go uh move on down to patio then we're gonna have suji after that and conorosh is gonna be in the queue as well, but uh patio man What do you got for us tonight? You guys hear me I can hear you a lot clear I don't know uh, you know which of us who else is at the game tonight, but I'm on route nine Just getting back um first of all Holy crap that and but the first time that dung for me and my god um I watched the last First time yet absolutely insane my buddy admittedly he's a providence fan hit me up this morning He's like hey, I have a ticket. Do you want to go worked out? um But uh watch the last five minutes on on youtube tv and traffic on the way home and let me just tell you guys I don't know who is there That place was a absolute madhouse and you know we Have as youcon fans experience the hell of a lot we've been down and out 2010 the kemba run Absolutely insane to uh 2014 down three with the brima three point play I mean there's been times when we have come back from the brink Let me tell you like I didn't think we had a shot coming out of the second half I was like okay, I went to the bathroom also when we were done 13 with the technical That game was over unlike eight or nine different occasions and that building Was insane and let me tell you when that dude hit the around the back fast brake What the camera didn't shut the beers were flying on that end of the court like beers were everywhere in the arena the place was a madhouse Uh, I was screaming like five minutes prior the youcon chant guys were getting in my face like threatened to fight me But point being that game felt like it was over and like literally eight or nine different occasions and even up to Like a minute when that dude hit that three and we were down five Um, what I'm trying to say is like my first youcon game was the johnny selvi era When we lost I think it was safe on a venture on a Friday and I want to say it was December like oh, yeah Yeah, it's the summer by one. Yeah, yeah, it was awful That was it was like literally my first game. I was like 11 or 12 years old But of all the games I've been to and I've been to a lot of games like I I've never felt like we were like dead in the water and I truly admittedly felt like that tonight And they just kept coming they we just kept coming and like That cariban play where he kind of faked the three and drove baseline and scored Listen, I'm not gonna call it on our own guys He definitely got away in my opinion with a little bit of a travel there they didn't call but uh, I mean The games I've been to I was in Phoenix for both games You know, I've been to a big east tournaments. I do you name it that was As gratifying and probably one of the best youcon games a person I had ever been to and it Was just it literally speech of nine right now just went thoracic shot of the grizzball and like I'm like You know, I'm not gonna sleep like you guys said like it was absolutely insane Say hi to Brooklyn for me um, yeah, no, I tweeted it's true If I was in the building as you come for that they would not have been able to take me out of that building alive With what I would have given those people may have not made it And just so you know having good that that's what it's like That's that's it now you understand have exceeded. Oh my god. Yeah, I mean like I've watched the games on TV And you can tell when you're watching on TV like all right like that's a that's a serious venue like But it like on television does really as you guys know not do it justice is wild and as awesome as phanta was on the call that the clips that I watch That place was an absolute madhouse and in mind you like the student weren't there. It's still you know break But like you know with it's crazy like speaking of the upside down. I don't know who was saying it earlier like We have failed to like put teams away this year. We've kind of played with our food like the defensive effort has been amazing But oh my god the shooting tonight output of of Mullins of Demory of caravan that might be caravan's best game In a Yukon uniform and like there's a lot of great games from caravan. What did he hit five or six? Three like and like on the stretch my god like it was just insane and like I was sitting behind the bench like eight or nine rows back And I just can't remember a game where like especially in the Hurley era where They were down and down and down and I mean 11 with like four to go like are you kidding me? And they just kept coming then it was it was it was something to watch in person like really We've seen so much especially in the last four years two years three years The Hurley era like that was you know up there for me really Yeah, it's that's incredible. I also realized while you were speaking I'm this has to be I was at the last Yukon Providence overtime game in that building it would double over time That building just it's crazy should happens Um, that was an amazing. That was 2005. It was right Ryan gums versus Charlie pulling away of it going blow for blow Which was pretty impressive to watch, but tonight was way crazier I'm gonna pull I'm gonna see if I can pull that box go around That was for you know the call over time game and it was like right around Valentine's day, right? Uh, it was yep. Yep. It was the day after Valentine's Day 2005 um Yeah, of course I don't have to find the last four, but yeah, that that building is so I've seen Yukon win a game and that building it I'm good. I've got that challenge coin. I don't need to go back. Maybe if it's a weekend game, but Um, I was also at the game three years ago uh, where hey they lost on a Tuesday night in the middle of uh in the middle that while January where things were going bad. So Yeah, it's I'm glad you're weeknight trip to the dunkel and a lot better than my did so uh, yeah Now you know you bring a raincoat next time because They buy two beers. They drink one. They throw the other. It's you know You know that that's where yeah, it was uh, you know We had a Yukon contingency in the corner there and we were you know people were chanting The guy next to me he's like oh, I'm gonna call security on your ass like you like we were in the fryer section Like the guys are getting in my face and I was just like I was going at it I was tweeting out like I'm not gonna get out of here alive if you guys look at my profile, but Listen my first time on the bases and you know, this is awesome. We want to win. What a win like allow get it to the next guy, but Then like it's in as far as regular season wins go and that that's got to be up there Especially in the early era like that is top tier and you know, it's up there With probably the Kansas comeback earlier this year, but aside from that I can't remember a game where you know really like you guys mentioned three percent chance of winning that whole game Even when they were clawing back like the three to it with a minute to go we were down five again and what a game Why you know, I'll end it with that, but oh my god. What an experience Thanks, man. Yeah, I appreciate you and the Yukon fans are they we could hear the UCL and Nchan at the end regulation and the loud booze that it was greeted by After it and then the other two chance notes here, which we're not met with anything I also know somebody who was there tonight in the player family section and this year for the first time providence Like split up the allotment they had to give to Yukon. So they tried to like Not make it one contingent which is interesting because there's gonna be a lot of Yukon fans in that building anyway. Oh yeah To think basil. I think basil. I call out. He was down there in the thick of it. I don't know if he's on, but he was in the thick of a gold wild Yeah, no, thank the people who got I'm glad you all got out alive if I'm not honestly a little disappointed at the same time We're going to work dying for but hey, you know safe travels home. I have pulled up Thank you for jumping on I have the box store from the old five game Marcus Williams played 47 minutes. He had 14 and 13 With two turnovers Charlie had 22 and 10 Ryan goams had 37 and eight He played 48 minutes donning McGrath played all 50 minutes. Oh my god That's not last for the past huh? So providence is starting five two cook potty Jeff Paul Jeff Palmer Herbert Hill donning McGrath and Ryan goams. I was sitting next to Bob Ryan during the entire game. That was where I was which was interesting in and up itself Yukon starting five were Rudy Gay Charlie the only way of a denim brown Josh Boone and Marcus Williams Hilton Armstrong played 28 minutes off the bench In Yukon's 94 89 double o t win on February 15th of 2005 That is 21 years ago. I'm going to go climb into the ground myself Oh, I have to also note Randall Hanky played two minutes for Providence. Another great weirdo they have So many weird Providence players over the years Uh Sujit. What do you got for us brother far away? I'm so happy about this incredible win my goodness like the best game. I'm gonna I'm gonna be keeping in mind for years to come and bringing up and you later on later on down the line But wow could not believe it like we were down throughout the second half and Playing defense like we did last year was struggling to get stops can't rebound getting called for a lot of fouls Ref screwing us over and I would like oh how and every time we make any kind of comeback They just keep responding and building the lead back up whether it's just 13 or close to 13 whether it's Duncan Powell Ryan Mellah jones jones sellers Jason Edwards. I'm your jones You name it It just it just didn't feel like we were gonna make that comeback but then But then silas steps up and then makes make critical stops and then and then Then momentum carries on in the last three minutes and and we bring it together and Also just wanted to let this out think this might be the game though that we broke a record or tied for the record Most trees in a game either is this one or that game last year or not last year up. We were to go with Tristan 295 3s against Oregon or something But yeah Didn't want to expect the game to go out this at all because because Providence was an 86 team and one and two in the biggest and we're favorite by 10 We should have and we should have like Had another blog game like we didn't smart cannon and Dave here, but At least we won is the main thing although our bench production wasn't that good But as long as our starters starters played well, especially the the hyped-up prospect and brilliant moments Love him because the heck The way he plays the way I whenever he shoots the ball get so much excitement and he was like lights out tonight But just hope he's not as much in front of him. He's coaching decisions like keeping terrorists out like in an overtime Until we need him the most Of really really smart coach we have in and in early And also Yeah, this high scoring wow Yeah, I hop all I thought ribos best contributions of the night came You know his honestly is two minutes in OT were huge just to be able to give terrorists Like a little bit of a break because Eric did not have a good night He was like bad. It just wasn't his night But those two minutes in OT he gave him and he just held before We're huge and now he's seen what that building looks like and so Welcome welcome, buddy Should we say like I know if you guys saw Andrea who literally saw I put it said that she says yeah the private fans are a bunch of jerk offs Well, yeah, yeah, I'm not sure what's the number of people but she was tweeting and tweeting Posting on Instagram tonight quite a bit after the game. Yeah, I would recommend interest Instagram right now if you haven't checked it out That's where the really funny content is Yeah, they don't love that fan base um with a lot of good reason. So big night for for both rivalry Yeah, it's so I'm glad to have you on I mean you're one of our regulars, but you know There's another guy who runs a podcast named Russ Miller and also big red sometimes comes on that podcast with them I've been turning to him but I also know he knows me really well because I've been on his I've been a regular on his podcast So it's like and also a lot of people come on on here. So it's like don't know if I'd get to talk But also I've been busy over the years, huh, but I'm trying to try to come on a little bit more You're always well. You're always a house of energy when we were winning titles. So I love having it But last season was was emotionally tough also because we were struck for your flawed, but now but now the team is so much better with the upgrades at point guard especially Yeah, now tonight was a little bit of what if last year had a really good point guard That's what it felt like to watch by the same time like imagine if we didn't have a night like this like shooting three's like that If they didn't miss critical free throws and like to give us a chance to tie the game in the end But also dare I bring up Mal like when which I got reminded of when when we made that significant comeback then too Against Memphis to force overtime my biggest hope going into overtime was Bring it together make sure we get the job done this time. Don't let any flashes that game ever come back We got we got to like do the do the thing this time Yeah Yeah, that's a very good callback because they did try and do this last year against Memphis And then O T didn't go well and then Dan had a nervous breakdown and we know what happened after that. Yeah. So Thank you, Simjit. Yeah great great great win great performance for braille and I've reached out to his dad to ask how the night went. He said for right now amazing one. So that's fun. Yeah Hopefully we get more best production out of a special milk ice cream with the brass and rival next game That's my biggest concern and Well, yeah Keep this a memory Absolutely, you have to you have to enjoy it's part of the ride right like Even if God forbid they get banged early determined. That's awful at sucks. It's why you have to enjoy things like tonight when they happen And that's the thing I'll say before next person is one thing we haven't done yet in the big east since Rejoining the biggest is win the road game at Seton Hall. They didn't happen even last season. Hope it happens. That's the game. I'm looking out for. I know It's the game of the year better. I see we are I see it crusting over the hell ominously. So I invite it so many great results in In New Jersey over the years if they have those if they have a slow start Saturday against the Paul it will literally be It will be there looking ahead to it. I will absolutely climb that one game that honest to God like if we just lose all laugh I'm not gonna be mad. I'm not gonna get upset. Yeah, I'm gonna go over the spread sheets. I'm not gonna break it down I'm just gonna laugh. I mean we lost to the terrible say Seton Hall team. This is a good one. So That we've lost the good teams. We've lost the middleing teams. We lost the terrible teams. So just It's part of the gimmick man. And I'll say that the the thing province did tonight A shot teammate doing that They did it. They did it to Yukon last year. They they came back. That team's tough. They like you want to talk about teams you can Has to come up with toughness is intensity It is Seton Hall Yes The story of the Asperger's game against you know, which is what happened like the contributes that result was the trouble in bounding Yeah, yeah, I thought that was it tonight. No inbound Issues especially given that they were facing a press all night So that was that was a positive thing to see thank thank you suju And also care then recovering from one over five from three in performing the way he did tonight incredible recovery for him Thanks to jeep. All right, gonna move on down here. We're gonna go to Conner and then I'm gonna try to bring it home probably with Jaden Galey so Conner man, what do you got for us brother? I would echo that I remember I called them last time and I was talking about the Just inability to break a press on offense, but today they really They were definitely rattled by it at times, but they did what they need to do and then I love that I know it took them a while to actually press themselves, but Considering that how hot provenance was offensively and there are all these guys hitting shots that have clearly never made them before Like just to go out and press then and rattle them finally like I thought that had a really big difference, which was great um Also as a guy was just saying care ban just He just has that clutch gene man whenever you need him You know the entire team was kind of shit outside of a couple people to start the game, but Like when it matters like he had probably I know the braille in threes were pretty crazy, but The ones that Alex hit were just so clutch so maybe the most crucial shots of the game As far as just in the moment momentum What the score was with the exact time. I'm sure if you go and look at the you know like when percentage chances affecting Statistics and you look at like oh his shots probably move the needle the most which is pretty crazy um I don't know if you saw but like when that size of my interview that Dan was giving after the game It was interesting that the very first person he mentioned was Alex when I think most people including myself would probably say Silas probably the MVP of the game just consistent performance and everything but The fact that Dan even like right away was like No, Alex all American best player in the conference. Yeah, Deyata. I thought it was pretty pretty telling just I think we even undervaried him sometimes. Yeah, and I know I do. I'm the guy that always gets kissed, but it's true Connor, I think he's really trying to like you know they ain't get these ticks. We all know they push us things He I think is really all in on the like he's sick of this kid not getting enough national attention. Oh total He's going to push him down everyone throughout now because there are 15 and one top five team and he doesn't get any national attention And I think he also thinks that last year gets Like used against him just because he wasn't Cameron Booser like you know his season was Was his weakest season, but he wasn't like he wasn't bad I said he was bad at times. He played bad. He had a couple bad games, but it was a season like for 99% of college basketball players That's a great season, but because of the standard he helped established A season that was a normal or a good season for most players got held against him And now he's having his dependent season and in a league where you caught is clearly the best team and he is their best player And Yukon has a history of not getting the biggest player of the year as we've seen last few years Dan doesn't want that shit happening and he also appreciates this kid so much for what he's meant to his life And the way he has appreciated as a coach and what he is one because of this kid And so Dan is going to pour it all in for this kid now because he's seen how much That Alex Kierman has put in for four years here And the shots that he had today were just like those were bailout shots like those were You don't come close to sniffing overtime or anything if it weren't for him And I mean, that's the the funny part of having a psychotic online coach, which is what he all loves Also talking his first line being about oh well, apparently, you know, I don't win close games when At this point, you know, he's won back-to-back national championships just that It's a deranged but that triple in your shoulder energy is just incredible and then I'll just finish Last time I talked it was just about Mullins and his game-to-game or have to have for even play to play Development I mean, I was kind of laughing to myself about how ridiculous it was when earlier in the spaces. We were like oh Is he staff is he whatever? I'm like all right, let's all You all love the team. You don't need to settle down a little bit like that's crazy But if you look back and watch some of those shots just like He's way beyond the arc. He's moving. He's falling in different directions. I mean, it's just It's just crazy stuff like it's not even a catch and shooter or other stuff I guess that's just this next generation through a you ball that step is You know inspired, but I mean, yeah, you're right. Obviously, he's not step curry, but it's Tonight was like Stefan that is like the the window he has is like a millisecond And the release has to be quick and you can't think about it It's just got to be your form has got to make this work because you own got time to like side load and you know Like no, it's going up now because the other team is knows what you are and they are chasing your ass and they're sending big guys out because Provinces a big team and Just had the confidence and followed through on it at time after time after time the way that Alex also was in the same Situation like you got these two polar opposites, right once the 17 year old and once the like grizzled vet And they're both doing the same thing just knocking down three after three in that late rally Like it was nothing just and they're just dead center. This is going and this is going and this Except for Braille and first one about you, which was beautiful. I love that was crazy And it's also funny because Alex is such like a You know, even if the ball is moving beforehand like he's he's very set like he's always set and Braille was kind of You know jump in whichever way when you're shooting, which is really fun to watch, but no, I mean it was just just incredible to see it's really fun I didn't I think he had that one shot At one point during the rally and maybe it was just in the second half before they really started Where I was like oh, that that was a bad one. I think it just hit the backboard or whatever But even besides that again, it just so soft in the point where that first one he had no t were just Downst around or whatever. It's like Okay, so you don't even actually have to hit the center of the rim because you're that good of a shooter You're just it's just gonna fall in anyway. It was just just incredible to watch Yeah, a lot of that Jordan Hawkins and um It was the same thing with Jordan. You know, just such a quick trigger release coming off flying off those screens. It's a similar kind of motor, you know what I mean where um You know, they both have a little extra add a length to them Um, they're able to just run and run and run and run and run and run and run and run you know And run guys off of screens and hit shots off a balance and like any guys just pointed it out I mean the window that you have the clothes on a guy like a Mullins or a Hawkins is by night um And it you know getting him rolling is going to be Huge for this team because I mean kind of take today Out of the equation that's the piece that's been missing and this offense has been them getting rolling from three They can get him rocking and rolling and they've got they know they can fall back on it I think that's what's really gonna make Yeah, what's gonna take this offense to the next level and it's gonna free up a lot of other guys It's gonna free up more three-point shots from out for Alex for Silas for solo For everybody, so you know I'm really impressed when I still think he's got some more to do defensively. He's got great length You know, I and he's a little bit probably more physical than people give him credit for Um, he's just handsy, which is pretty Part for the course for freshman defenders. I think you can just to say and then I'll then I'll stop but as you're saying like as really He's definitely not a finished product even though we're only gonna have him for another two months or whatever Defensively and everything and you can get frustrated when he does whatever But I was just really impressed when you know, he was one of the guys Before the really even real rally started, you know, he's diving on the floor. He's doing all that like that Really impressed me and really stood out like you know, he's maybe not the greatest defender in the world But I don't know to be that gifted offensively But still be like that bought in and being like I am on the floor At Providence. I'm doing this and diving for these balls. I just Anyway, I just loved it Yeah, it what really impressed me is he had a really bad turnover with about four minutes to go It was in the middle of Providence Hey, you kind of had the ball down seven. I almost thought he was gonna get pulled at that point because yeah I was like but then he stayed out there and I was like oh no, Dan And trust him and that was wow because like it was a Dan trust him or I'm not saying Dan's giving up the game But the game within 40 seconds goes from you have the ball down seven to you're down 11 With three minutes to go in that building with that famous Dan left him in and he found his way through it You know even with that he didn't let that turn out critical turnover become you know the thing that broke him he just built off of it and Was huge and over time hit the two threes great defensively after it She can't ask for a lot more out of an 18-year-old and I'm going to enjoy the last two months. I got to watch him So yeah, just insane from a teenager and I'll have the next guy roll over but just I'm gonna as you say. I'm gonna enjoy the next two months because he's special Yeah, this this was his uh his Liam going for 41 at crate moment unless unless he decides to do that Hey, you know, let's have another one. Uh, thanks kind of appreciate it Uh Jen daily how are you tonight? I am good creating some an Amtrak train hit pulling in the train and I'm on the way back from villain over crates Wow, yeah Good very quietly good baby's game. I was really impressed by crating You know usually they have the offense and it reminds you of the old d-line teams But this is probably the toughest with Germany team. I've seen it on a long time Yeah, Crate and getting the win at the timing was weird. I I was correct and you did pick the wrong game to go to tonight. Um Yeah, I did great Crate never who I mean you missed you missed something that everybody who is that it should be institutionalized so congrats on being out of I was living precariously for Mallory Oh, oh, yeah. Yeah, that mall had a good night. She is alive. I can't confirm folks. I have proof of life Um, yeah Crate and goes into the Dupont pavilion Everybody has a bad day and gets 76 72 win uh, which helps you con out as Yukon is now the lone unbeaten team in the big east Uh, Villanova had a seven point lead with six minutes to go. I'm sorry. Let me take the back. Well, Nova had a ten point lead in the first half Uh, but Crate and I mean, I didn't see any of it. Jaden. So I'm obviously I'm leading on you. We were watching the insane asylum thing But uh great game in the pavilion tonight Just from looking at the box court looks like it was another big night for a cadence Lewis A great night for me. You look really good Yeah, he had he had 20 and seven tonight in 33 minutes. So Yeah, they didn't get the winded. I bet that kid's going to carry Villanova far and Crate and continues to be on this ascent Uh over the last couple of weeks But their first win over for a really good thing Are they the best team in the league? And sports to Miami transfer who had your 21 Yeah, so it's Yukon five and no Crate and four and one St. John's three and one Uh, St. John's Novin Hall three and one. So Yukon has a game lead Uh quarter of the way home here We'll take it for now. Yeah, I mean, Crate might have a case for it. I mean, I don't know. I don't know who the second best team in the league is right now I thought it was nobody is Exciting me. Yeah, though it would be Villanova, but then tonight was a question mark Was was there something specific about tonight that made you question it other than just obviously they lost There's it that they just when they got the big lead early they couldn't hang on They also weren't hitting trees the way they normally do so The the one big part of the Willard offense just wasn't there I feel like when the shots are falling it could get ugly for them. So Yeah, see 25 offensive rebounds between the teams in this game. That's great net 13 and Kevin didn't care much for that Yeah, Devon the Devon Esquieu had a brutal night. It looks like He did So yeah, Villanova got nothing from their bench tonight and Liloth Lindsay wasn't great Yeah, they really got yeah, Villanova got nothing out of the bench They're not a very deep team. I think Nova's good, but the lack of depth is probably gonna be the issue for them I'm a little surprised. He's not using right in Pierre Moore, but I'm sorry Pierce Moore But he's still really It's he's He's a minus just being out there Yeah, that's fresh Well, yeah, it looks like Creighton was able to overcome getting that out of Villanova. Just trying to take a look ahead across the league Creighton will be in Omaha at the end of the month Yes, I saw you you will be at uh, they're not getting dollar beer night for Yukon this year Oh, wow, which surprised me So yes, Jaden will be live providing game coverage of Yukon's return to Creighton Also helping bail Dan Hurley out of jail. Thank you for that So congratulations to you living near New York. You can find a direct flight to Omaha for less than $12,000 You're at least have options Yeah, so what is the LaGuardia? I mean, I know it's it's got to be direct, right? Yeah, it is okay And then I have the next three Yukon games after that to Paul on set before that rather to Paul Saturday Seaton Hall Tuesday and credential approval Meeting George town on the 17th. Oh nice. So we'll see you Saturday. This is tremendous. You will Uh, and it's not in gamble. So You don't get to do your James breeding bullshit. Thank God for those who don't know Jaden Bailey has covered three Yukon men's games at Gample Pavilion James breeding has officiated all three of them stay away And you are also to be credited for learning me to the fact that tonight was the first time John Phanta ever Called a province lost at the Dunk Mm-hmm What was the total number wasn't like 23 or something? It was 23 overall and then the streak ended When they got vote raised by pull lead at George town So the two streaks end in the most painful way for their fan base. That's that's great The overall one in the home one I think it was 25 or 26 at home. I I don't know. I it's not the track of the whole street after Pooly destroyed them two years ago Hey, why do you hear Jaden speaking of Ed Cooley? Hot balls It shouldn't be this hard to turn George town around. It should not be One one for 23 in the second half at the Paul one for 23 is almost impossible It's the sort of step one that's so bad. I would worry me because it's like that's just it's a comment I said that earlier or something like that's impossible I saw that I was floored Yeah, and that was after I watched Princeton make 16 strange shots on day day Yeah, they're They're they're that might not be salvageable And that team had offense we thought Um, they're a mess. They're one in three in the league. If I've got seen all great in Yukon, Villanova coming up I mean if this is one in seven in a month With then the road trip to Providence Possibly resurgent Providence. Uh, that's gonna be a Yeah, I mean they don't have they don't have a win against uh, they have one win against the top 100 teams Yeah Anything else that's really bad uh north of 100 is I don't know man. It looks like it's gonna be another long year right now Ken Palm has some favored in Exactly two games the rest of the way. Is Marquette one of them? Yes Yes Marquette at home and the other would be to Paul at home All right, well, I'm gonna jump off and let you guys wrap this up. I'll charge my phone a little bit before I get back into New York Love you guys. I'll see you on Saturday. I'll see you at win trust. Thanks buddy safe travels. Thank you All right, uh, we only have uh, I think two more Oh, no, we've only got one more to go here uh rake giley What do you have for us? What's going on fellas? Great. When did I it was funny? We are talking about creating maybe being the uh second best team I ordered tickets to their game right when they dropped I was just trying to get a feel of how many uh sickos are gonna be out there with me. All right going out to Omaha Yes, sir. I already had Alan Fieldhouse. No, this is the next one we're checking off to get in the whole Midwest covered Oh, yeah, we'll be nice and cold rolling through the plains right giley I love it for I've I've I've all did for a couple years the problem. It's two-fold problem like usually it's a midweek game So that's out now. I have a kid, but also it's just That rake where what what is the nearest airport to you? I'm worth lying out of uh, Bradley Friday get back some day. Okay, just enough The pink out's not gonna phase us. It's dust stuff. They're not doing the dollar beer night. Yeah, you're the one year to go out there Um, yeah, so what what's your connection? I mean you obviously got a connection see Omaha like it's a nice airport But it's it's like flying to Bradley. It's not the easiest you know place to get to For if you don't want to spend a lot like I you plan to head so you probably got a decent price on the ticket But that's the thing I usually think of this shit like middle of the season and at that point of playing tickets like 600 ground trip And I'm like, I don't we almost ever win there, you know, I can pay for diapers. Yeah, yeah I the rivalry is real no matter what but I think it was like 500 for flight and stay. I ordered per It's me and five of my buddies will all be out there. Oh, have a blast Yeah, it was like a wild time every time we show up so Yeah, exactly. I always love the pre-games. I just I was trying to get a feeler on If anybody knew what the motion was out there, but doesn't seem to uh, my wife's whole family is from Omaha Which I actually my wife was born in Omaha. Oh, you're you're you're you're on your selling it Yeah, well, I am underselling it. I got both my in-laws are creating love This is not by by design. I have to stare at a hideous Did not know that all the two nerds are not big in a basketball too much, but uh, they're increasingly getting into it, but what a coincidence Yeah, what a coin key dinky pair with her fans any places. I got to head out there as a great mug in his house It's disgusting. I actually I hit me up via dm. I've actually One of my wife's cousins just opened the steakhouse in Omaha. Give me the give you a low down on that Yeah, I love that. Yeah, I can push you with some free steaks. You never know Let's go roll up in my camspanter uniform and we'll get fucking juicy. Yeah See he actually has like connections in Omaha I'm gonna tell you is that place that does the jello shots for the college role series, but I don't even know if that's near We were definitely stopping there. That and the chef boy are a D statue. There you go nice Nice The tourist traps in the Midwest whenever you're in the middle of nowhere fun attack. Yes, I mean Kansas City sucks. So fucking bad. Oh my god. I love Kansas City a lot We didn't do I didn't do Kansas City The way that I did it the last time we're there Postardomers was just in the queue we ended up doing the Negro League Museum, which is amazing By the way, you got to check that out. Oh, yeah, I'm pissed on this eff greasy spoon small diner. I've had and probably I love the barbecue that I will never hate on their bar burn-in Power-on-light districts not bad, but there's some like really good. That's where we stay And we want to that Xfinity theater which seem cool. It definitely Bubba grump shrimp factory. It's like Yeah, I'm square there But the college basketball famous there the World War War one museum's there But they have some really good hole-in-the-wall bars in Kansas City that actually pretty great But the diner is where it's at that diner. Oh Diner whatever it's called the only time in my life. I was thrilled to give last parking to American dollars Just $10 and you eat like a king and for a fat ass like me You can I saw a couple too many Travis Kelsey murals. I want to get the fuck I've never been to a to a city um in my life That is as taken over by one singular team that plays inside of it Then Kansas City is by the chiefs. The royals. Well, we totally agree I mean there every other buildings got chief shit on it. It is Ramp it. I mean obviously I haven't been to Green Bay. I'm sure that's worse Um, but like forget it. I mean, I was you know Chicago Cubs Boston with red socks York Any team like it's bad. I've never seen Well, maybe dial dialysis closed, but I've never seen a city is speckled With team here and logos. It's Kansas City is with the chiefs Yeah, hell yeah. Well, uh, you'll hear from me about that steakhouse. I appreciate it. Real skews boys. Well, Thank you and enjoy all the hot beautiful and scenic make sure you go to that My favorite bit two years ago even though the guy that's being a dick was the great fan who took the picture of the apartment complex that looked like it was the Soviet Union That was so good. One of the better conference wide, uh, uh dance was that was so good That it's that it's like Jesus really did look industrial like I didn't think I thought Omaha was actually probably located pretty cool city and then Just great elevator for for a Soviet fight like no, this is also an Omaha. Okay, a lot of people talk Omaha man Yeah, but maybe it's just you know People in my life and I'm just not one of these years Jim Penders is getting there And you will go oh Yeah, maybe Josh McDonald on curfew Biggie's preseason baseball pulls out you kind of was picked first. Can you believe it? Jocking turn of events. Can't believe it. Imagine so All right Well, this is neat and tidy. It was tidy up on almost like what tonight tonight was not tidy the show was neat and tidy Which is unusual for us Yeah, uh before we go one of promote uh, we tweeted out thanks to the folks at store central they posted the um They posted the youtube of our q and a with tom Moore from uh postgame from the market game on sunday So if you check out store central's youtube channel, you can check that out. You can see our beautiful mugs For those of you sickos if you thought tonight was disgusting um And it was great to spend time with coach really appreciate that and uh Also watching even bobby core side tonight as the game wasn't going well Just knowing that they're in the middle of the tornado of danza motions But uh they got they got out of the other side of it And so yeah, store central on youtube check out their channel Please like and subscribe. We're gonna be doing more stuff like that. I think we're doing up all's are we on the books officially for another q a with coach. I think we're talking about it Yeah, we're in the works. We're gonna be doing it again We're gonna try to do a couple of these periodically at the graduate over the rest of the season and Much more more things are coming. Yeah, the the weekend games it's an opportunity The weekend gains a gamble or we're gonna do some stuff. So hopefully folks Can join us post game for those thanks to everybody that came out on sunday. It meant a lot had a lot of fun seeing everybody out there and uh I can't believe the mulleds families travel this week by the way. It's totally nuts. So stores set sunday for the market game to watch braille and Back home monday because the the younger brothers had a game monday They have another game on we're sorry back out here for tonight They flew straight to provenance went to braille's game tonight. They're flying back home because Uh the the brothers the old the younger brothers have a high school game back in indiana Scheduled for friday it might get moved because with indian and mccollister ball quarter semi-final the entire state of indiana is moving high school basketball games now for indiana football Folks, we are in another dimension This is the most impressive thing Kurt signati has ever done. They're moving high school basketball games in indiana to watch indiana football Um, but then they are flying They were they were gonna do that game friday and fly back out saturday because you can't miss the poll at 12 30 in Hartford Can you so Shout to the mullins for just having an insane trial schedule this week. The only thing that matters money in the miles That's right and you'll be the rest of us it does for the mullins Terrorist did the full Hulk Hulk Hogan set tonight. He did the whole thing The whole thing he hulked up in the second half A lot of baby face selling in the first half. Yeah, baby face and peril. I mean the hot tag and and we've we've seen It just kind of gave for him before so it wasn't swam your leg as the Hulk Hogan set in a way It wasn't well. We had some heel cutoff spots in the second half, you know Yeah, it looks like the baby face coming back and then oh the clothesline flat back. The dance technical felt like a like a Valet getting ejected from ringside Yeah, you know or like getting hit with a weapon The outside or or missing a big charge and running into the ring post and at it all and I had it all minus a blade job Nobody blood in that game somehow We're vomited which you know, so there's progress. Um Yeah, an incredible incredible night in Providence and we are on to Saturday Hartford for to Paul at 1230 in terms of the spate. We'll we'll talk this off air I've got some mitigating things. I'm not sure what time we'll go live Saturday, but we will obviously Go live Saturday as we wrap up the regular season with our dear friends from Chicago who are on a heater Such as they can be the two and three to Paul Blue demons The currently almost 200 like it's almost like calling them. I mean they've got a shit. Hey, whoa They have a chance. They can't be in the four or five game Up of 500. They're gonna lose to us Then they got Marquette at home They got Butler on the road The whole god speaking of that. Yeah, seat in the hall at home Don't think they're gonna win that but then they got Georgetown and they got Xavier There's a world where we're going into February With a 500 or above 500 Paul blue demons basketball team. This is the point Well, I know that they are favored in one of their remaining 17 conference games. Sorry 15 But when stay be like without the Paul inside of it at the biggest tournament See because if we're honest the highest they're getting to his fifth and then they're in the four or five game And that means you can't going to be in the way of Friday to Paul. I don't want that. I don't want to be I don't want to be that guy Because you got to kill the way we're in the way of Friday to Paul, but We will also be in the same session is True quarter finals true True the afternoon game against whoever it possibly could be I mean it would so I know because it would have played on the first night. So except what we're in there in the four or five game seat in hall maybe Oh, you're talking if they even if they were in the six 11 if they were the six they would still No, cuz then they would be in the night for five. Yeah, they're in the world of three six and two seven's nine 28 to four fives in the afternoon Yeah, if it's a four or five game. So it's it's the Paul versus seat in hall. They'll know the Maybe St. John's St. John's last night Listen good second half Good second half Butler that might be a ship that is taking on some water. Shall we say yes, and it crept it over a ship that is completely sunk last night Poor Butler It's over It's over But yeah St. John's is taking on water, but Interesting one for them they go to Omaha Saturday and if that goes the way that might go that will be very interesting Because yeah, let's be a prun if St. John's drops that game Saturday and you con does what they need to do You kinds of two games on them and it's January So right Not a lot of wiggle room No, not a wiggle room. No, there is not All right, well, I think that's enough of my app and we're gonna go 10 o'clock on the dot I mean, we almost went and even Stephen two hours Yeah, it that I got every watch the second half of that game tomorrow knowing how it ends now so that my heart isn't gonna watch it again It's midnight. I really want to go to bed, but like I have to I have to process that I have to check because I have an apple watch like so I'll have the vitals like It's because of the way you kinds of games have been even like Florida was close be while you got close I can't remember watching a Yukon game where my heart was pounding that much like even the Florida game last year It wasn't because it was it was a free hit right But like the last three minutes that game at OT. I was like Jesus. I didn't think I had this for the this sort of game with this sort of year Where it's going well, but Because the way they pulled it out because you knew like it felt live it I never thought the game was over Partially because I'm a sick. Oh, and I know profit as well enough to know they do shit like this And I don't trust the coach and I trust ours And I also like when the fucking weird looking dudes hitting threes. I'm like, well, that's not sustainable Like that's not gonna keep up and it did right it never really felt like the game was dead I was furious with them in the first half, but I didn't feel like they were out of it So the man they pulled if they pulled one right out of their ass tonight They had to stick their heads so far up their ass that they found their brain Somewhere up there. I think it's a beautiful way to sit down. That's a beautiful description of it. I think that's perfect What a soliloquy what that all right All right folks. Well, we will see everybody on Saturday At the people's arena In Hartford as the Yukon Huskies. Get gone to the Paul blue demons at high new It's 12 30 in the capital It's 12 30 It's not high news.
