This episode covers medical, relational, and lifestyle topics with a focus on health and human connection. It begins with an overview of Botox as a treatment for chronic migraine, emphasizing its efficacy and serious risks, including life-threatening side effects, requiring patients to disclose medical history and avoid use in certain conditions. The discussion then shifts to relationship dynamics, critiquing the use of data-driven dating scores that compare partners to past relationships, calling such practices performance-based and emotionally damaging. Instead, the episode advocates for shared, positive rubrics and rewards like fun activities to build connection. A related Reddit post explores excessive, prescriptive guidelines for visiting a newborn, which is analyzed as reflecting parental anxiety and cultural judgment rather than medical necessity. The hosts highlight how such advice can feel overly controlling and insensitive, especially during vulnerable times like postpartum. They stress the importance of empathy, personal boundaries, and cultural awareness in relationships. Ultimately, the episode promotes emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and mutual respect across different aspects of modern life—health, romance, and parenting.
This week's episode is brought to you by AbbVie. Chronic migraine means 15 or more
headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more. Botox, onobotulinum toxin A,
prevents headaches in adults with chronic migraine. It's not for those with 14 or fewer
headache days a month. It prevents, on average, eight to nine headache days a month versus six
to seven for placebo. Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor. Botox effects may
spread hours to weeks after injection, causing serious symptoms. Alert your doctor right away
as trouble swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems, or muscle weakness can be signs of a
life-threatening condition. Those with these conditions before injection are at the highest
risk. Side effects may include allergic reaction like rash, breathing problems, dizziness, neck,
and injection site pain, and headache. Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection.
Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions like ALS, myasthenia gravis,
or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, and medications like
botulinum toxins, which may increase the risk of serious side effects. Make a plan and ask your
doctor about Botox. Visit BotoxChronicMigraine.com or call 1-800-44-BOTOX. This episode is brought to

Okay, how we feeling? We ready? Yeah, I'm freaking good. I would just hang out all day,
but let's do a show, I guess. I guess. Yeah, I'm ready to throw you guys in to
a baptism by fire here a little bit with today's Reddit stories. Hot. I think you're going to be
fine, though, because I've watched a lot of your content. I'm obsessed. If I don't, by some point
in my life, by the time I die, get invited to one of these little murder mystery dinner things you're
doing. They're pretty fun. I will actually be crushed. My funeral eulogy will be like, yeah,
Keith and Zach never invited Morgan to be a part of the murder mystery dinner party, and now she's
turning over in her grave. Okay.
Good to know that this is the true north for you. Yeah, it is. You guys have amazing content. If you
guys haven't recognized their faces already, we've got Zach and Keith from The Try Guys.
Hi. Thanks for having us.
We're getting cozy in here. It's spooky. That was a really good one. It is. Yep. Coming out in
October. I like it. I like themes. Do you? The older I get, the more themes are good.
What's your favorite theme? I think that Halloween is one of the best ones, really, because it's just
funny to me how much more people have gotten really into it as I've aged. I feel like it was
like, yeah, it's fun. We can celebrate for a week. In LA, people have two months of decorations that
are better than most Christmas light displays. They're really intense here. You can go walking
and look at Halloween things. That can be an evening activity in many neighborhoods. It is.
Minnesota, they go harder for the holidays, I would say. The Midwest loves their Christmas.
Yeah. California loves Halloween.
Yeah. I don't have a costume yet, and it's sort of bumming me out. Really?
I'm getting into that danger zone where I feel like I'm just going to accept nothing,
and it's a deep sadness. You're overwhelmed. Decision paralysis.
Yeah. You've got to dress up. Your baby is a bumblebee, and you guys got to be flowers.
I like that. Oh, that's super cute.
Yeah. Look, I'm on board. Okay. That's cute. How come you're not cozying up with us? Get a
blanket on your lap. I'll cook. You know that. Well, then cook. Oh, my legs will sweat. I'm
soft. Put the blanket on. That would solve the problem. Yeah. I don't know if we'd get censored
or not, though. That might be a little. You historically had an episode of our podcast where
my crotches blurred the entire time because it kind of looked like I had a boner. I didn't.
I missed that. Obviously, the blur made it look like I definitely did have a boner,
and I didn't, but it sure looked like it. Are you still living that down?
No. It's okay. If I had forgotten about it, it don't matter. If I had had a boner,
it just would mean I have greater privilege.
Appreciation for Zach. He gets lost in my eyes. That's so cute. That's so cute. Well,
today's theme I've got for you, since you do love a theme, is trying to stay calm.
I see what you did there. These are all stories that are just chaotic. They have you on the edge
of your seat. You can feel the secondhand embarrassment, also called empathy. They're
just. They're kooky. They're out there. Okay. Here we go.
Unbuckled. Unbuckled. Okay. Let's dive in.
All right.
Unbuckled. Unbuckled.
Unbuckled. Unbuckled.
Unbuckled. Unbuckled. Unbuckled.
and sixty two. We can do it. It seems doable. If you're listening right now, open up a burner
account. Let's go. You know, you have more than one email. Yeah. Yeah. Even if you're an audio
typically person, just, you know, go over there. Just give it some love. A little something.
OK, but from our own subreddit, it's titled My Girlfriend Ranks Our Dates Out of 10 in a Shared
Notes app. Oh, no. And shows me the score at the end of every date. Last week, I got a six and a
half because I didn't refill her water glass. Am I the asshole for saying this is insane?
Last Friday, I planned a whole evening restaurant, a walk after even remembered her co-worker drama
from three weeks ago. And I asked about it. I got a six and a half reason. I didn't refill her
water glass when it got low. And apparently a previous boyfriend.
Always did this. So now it's a benchmark. I laughed. She did not laugh. She says tracking
scores keeps the relationship intentional and stops effort from fading over time like it did
in her last two relationships. I say being graded like a Yelp review during a date I planned is not
romance. It's a performance review and honestly, kind of a buzzkill. She's now annoyed that I
called it insane instead of respecting her love.
Language of data.
Comparing your current partner's effort against your ex's specific habits, even silently,
even just for yourself, is a red flag dressed up as self-awareness. And doing it via spreadsheets
doesn't make it healthier. It makes it worse. Am I the asshole for thinking the water glass
thing crossed a line? Or am I just bad at accepting feedback? Oh, boy. I mean, the hard line for me
is that it's not just a scoring system, which could be playful. It sounds like it's not for
her. It's the whole comparing historically to another relationship. It seems like yucky
territory.
Yeah, I liked it when it was without that. I was like, oh, that's a funny bit. I was
like, that's funny.
So long as the grades are always between 7 to 10, you know?
Or if it really was a bad day, like the weather affected it and it sucked, then you'd be like,
we got a 2, honey.
Yeah.
And then I think that's fun. I think it'd be fun to judge it together.
You create the score together.
Yeah, I think so. You come together at the end of the date, you come up with a rubric,
and it's like a fun, cute thing. Because I'm honestly thinking about it. Like,
yeah, she's right to a certain extent. As relationships go on, you do get a little,
the date nights get a little lazier.
You can get a little too comfortable.
So, you know, I could probably use a little kick in the butt.
That's where I'm at. I'm like, okay, we fell into roommate mode after getting married,
and I'm like, okay, first anniversary, we got to get back into the groove. Come on, buddy.
100%.
Like, let's go. So, yeah, I think it's a cute bit if you're doing it together, but the comparison
of like, you're comparing.
Comparing me to an ex?
Like, they're clearly an ex for a reason, girl.
Right.
Like, I'm in my own category.
Also, like, docking someone three and a half points for water feels rough.
Like, if there was no other complaint, six and a half?
Just didn't refill the water.
From water?
This is like.
That's tough.
That's tough.
When you read those Yelp reviews.
She's a big critic.
Food was delicious.
Loved it.
Ambience was great.
Took a little too long to get my meal.
Two stars.
And I'm like, this is not.
Yeah.
One waiter should not dock the restaurant.
No.
Not a fair review at all.
And seemingly a really nice date.
Otherwise, restaurant, a walk after.
I even remembered her co-worker drama from three weeks ago.
Already, like, the whole trying to score points in romance.
Like, even the fact that he now has to mention that to sort of, like, save faces.
These are just supposed to be givens.
Yeah.
If you care for each other.
If you have a good time.
I feel like it should be pass-fail.
Isn't it?
Yeah.
Do you, don't you assume, though, if you need to take your relationship issue to Reddit.
It's already done.
You already know.
It's already done.
You already know.
You know what?
I will say, basically, any post that has made it across your desk, I think the relationship's
already over.
Yeah.
I don't know.
There's a lot of hope out there.
Oh?
There's a lot of people that, you know, once they get the reality check of a lot of neutral
people coming together to shit on them, they see the post because their partner shared
it with them and they go, oh, yeah.
I better get it together.
And then you get an update.
We stuck together.
Things are now good.
He did a 180.
So, I think a lot of times you get a little, like, lost and you're like, am I being crazy?
Like, is this normal?
And I feel like you need neutral people to come in and like, okay, no, you're not wrong
or, yeah, you're the asshole there.
So, I get it.
If I was terrible and my partner had the whole internet say that I was terrible, I'd probably
be like, this is great feedback.
However, the relationship is over because you have aired my laundry to too many people
and I, even though I'm bad, it's going to be hard for me to get over that.
So, and there's, this isn't the right relationship and that's okay.
I am evil.
So, I should remove myself.
Do everyone a favor, especially the partner you're with.
The whole internet is saying that I'm wrong.
I'm like, dang, I'm wrong, but I got to start all over because I fucked up.
Where do I go from here?
I fucked up.
Okay, walk with me here.
This is a roundabout.
This is a roundabout way to get to my point, but in my previous life, I used to make a
lot of dating content and so I was, you know, looking into different studies and one of
the studies that always surprised me was that couples who don't move in together until marriage
statistically last longer, which really surprised me because I'm like a huge proponent of life
stages and like certainly don't you want to know what it's like to live with someone before
you marry them, but part of the reason is that psychologically people are still in the
buy it before you buy it phase and if you move in together before being engaged or married
and I'm not advocating that you should not do it for this reason, but the study goes
that people are you fact-checking me?
So, I'm fact-checking myself in my head because I've talked about this study on the podcast
before and people were like, Morgan, did you look at who did that study?
Oh, no.
And it was like the church.
Dang.
So, I was like, let me see.
But no, I do think.
I think regardless, it's like you go, you move in with someone and you realize, oh my
God, they can't do their own laundry.
Like, they just moved from mom's house to mine and like, I don't want to be mommy.
Like, you know what?
We'll say, fuck the study.
You know, just take the study out of it and the point will remain.
The idea that you are still like, basically someone still auditioning for the role.
Yeah.
And it sounds like this person is still auditioning him.
Definitely.
And that to me is just like, hey, you got to get over that.
Whatever.
Whatever pain or baggage you're bringing in from your last relationship.
A relationship is supposed to be two people working together.
So, I think that's where we like immediately go like, oh, this is a great bit.
And first of all, you got to have bits in your relationship.
You do.
You got to have bits.
What if the scoring system was replaced with a prize gallery?
And if he does a good date, he gets a really good prize.
But if it's a mediocre date, he gets like a pack of gum.
Dave and Buster system.
And if it's a bad date, he like gets a lump of coal, right?
Like, dude.
I'm on board.
I love a president.
That way, at least he's getting something out of this effort.
So, and if he's like, oh, dang, I only got a pack of gum.
Dang.
What's the best thing you ever wanted at Dave and Buster's?
Nothing really.
Just like the stereotypical little animal.
Okay.
Well, if I got a little animal after a date, I'd be feeling pretty good about myself.
Yeah.
No, my husband is really, actually really, really good at the ring toss.
So, when we go to the Minnesota State Fair, he can win the ring toss every time.
And there's an easy one.
And then the hard one, he wins them both.
Wow.
So, he gets like the big ass stuffed animals, but we give them away.
I would score that date 10 out of 10, by the way.
Yeah.
It was a 10 out of 10.
And Opie does add some comments.
Like, he has gotten 10 out of 10 dates before.
However, he also has gotten a lot of fours, fives, sevens.
Four is devastating.
Four is tough.
And he says those ratings were debatable.
He didn't really understand them.
A four, I would be like, let's just call it.
Yeah.
Like, what the hell?
You're dogging me.
I mean, dang, shoot.
Yeah.
Dang.
Cooking is 10 out of 10, though.
Maybe that's why he's staying around.
He's trying not to make a big deal out of this.
Do you guys find the love language of data?
That's not a love language.
Have you heard of that one before?
This is not a love language.
I'm interested.
I wish it was.
I think that's fun.
What are they?
It's gifts, touch, time.
Words of affirmation.
Words.
And data.
I think that is the fifth one.
Acts of service.
Spreadsheets.
Yeah.
I think we got them all.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think that's right.
And then the last, yeah, spreadsheets.
Data.
I kind of do like the data.
Like, it's almost like another way of, like, proof in the pudding.
We did that.
We did that.
Like, we took an online quiz, my wife and I, to find out what we were, and gifts was
her lowest.
And so now I really use that against her all the time.
Oh, see.
And it's such a fun.
I'm like, I would have gotten you a gift, but you just don't like them.
And then I do.
I do have a gift.
Yeah, you pull it out.
It's a bit.
You gotta have the bits.
You're Razaner.
So, you made an interesting point.
You made an interesting point, though, about posting your problems online.
Because OP does have an edit.
The girlfriend saw the post.
That's what I'm telling you.
It's going to create more rifts in the relationship.
What'd she say?
My girlfriend saw this post, and we had an argument.
Yeah.
She's mad at me because, according to her, I posted something really private about us
online.
She left my house and went back to hers.
I'm regretting the decision of posting this, to be honest.
That's the whole point.
Follow-up?
Yeah.
You gotta tell me there's more.
I'm going to see if there's any other comments, but no further updates.
OP is commenting on the post as of two hours ago.
Oh, this is.
Wow, this is fresh.
This is happening right now in front of our very own eyes.
Tell them we're recording.
Tell them the Try Guys are here.
Let me send them a message.
Let's call them.
Highway OK 2233.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, I mean, of course she's mad.
And by the way, I look out for your score coming up this weekend, buddy.
Yeah, you're about to get your first two.
OK, I think I sent him a message.
We'll see if we get something back.
Do we did we hear how long they've been together or anything like that?
This feels new to me.
It does feel new, doesn't it?
Yeah.
And maybe there's a phase where, like, you graduate no longer being.
You pass this.
Yeah, you pass.
Yeah, training wheels come off.
Yeah.
And then, OK, we assume that I'm not going to get a report unless I under deliver on
the dates.
Like, unless I get a three, you just don't tell me.
Yeah.
I also would.
I would like to know some of the tens so that I can kind of file say that's what I'm
thinking.
Like, how are you getting the tens and can you just implement that every time?
And can I replicate them here in the greater Burbank area?
We can ask.
I'll be like, OK, what do you get for the tens?
I mean, Opie says I love her so much.
So thrown around the L word, but no mention of how long they've been together based on
what I'm seeing.
And it also.
It also does presume that she's a perfect ten always.
Opie does say like she plans a lot of dates.
Honestly, she's really good at planning them.
And she cooks for us every day.
Her cooking's a ten out of ten.
So if someone's cooking for you every day.
You do have to take the good and the bad.
You know, nobody's perfect.
It's also just it's like a matching of expectations within a relationship.
Because like if you can't rise to the top, let's say you're a bad date planner.
That's OK.
That's OK.
So long as you find someone that is also OK with that.
I don't know.
It's but you guys got to make sure that your expectations are matched.
And if these are hers, that also theoretically is OK.
You don't necessarily change her.
But you have to decide, is this what you want?
Do you think this is salvageable?
Can you guys would you work?
Doesn't sound like it sounds like it's over.
I mean, if it was me, you think it's over already?
It's two hours ago.
She left and went home.
I love her so much.
I shouldn't have done this.
It's the rift has begun.
This is going to come up in every single argument from here on out.
Don't you think they can come back from it, though?
It's over.
Maybe you just got to chill it on the grading.
I don't know.
You babe.
Chill it.
You think that's going to fly?
Well, I don't know.
Like, you know, I feel a little disheartened and sad when you compare me to X.
It's like I would like to be graded against myself and past experience of we've had rather
than be graded against another person.
I think you can.
I feel your way out of this.
Yes, I feel, and it's all
So can we come up on the grades together?
I don't want, as you said,
I don't want to be compared against the past
and I want this to be fun for us.
Yes.
Let's create a grading system,
like a rubric of like, okay,
a five or a 10 is effort, thought, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And like give yourself a set standard
so you can try to achieve that every time.
Or we revisit the Dave and Buster's idea.
This is idealism from you two
and this relationship's done.
Like, yes, some people could salvage this,
but what I'm hearing is it's bad and she's pissed.
And if I'm thinking like the kind of person
who grades you compared against your exes
is not the person who lets go the fact
that you aired your dirty laundry on Reddit.
That's also a very good point.
And now the Try Guys know about it.
And now I'm going to talk about it all the time.
I know.
Top comment does agree with you.
If someone was grading me on dates, I'd leave,
especially that the benchmark is based
on what her ex used to do.
You deserve to feel loved and appreciated
rather than turning,
every date, into a performance review.
It's like being at work.
Fuck that.
Fuck work.
Another comment here.
She's not allowed to call it a love language
because she's not showing love.
She's only criticizing
and finding ways to make you feel badly.
That's not love.
You're right.
This is not normal.
I'm a type A personality
and I would never do this to my husband.
You know what we're also not hearing
is what happens,
and I guess this does go back to the Dave and Buster's,
and I am sorry to bring this up,
bring it back to that,
is what happens when you unlock a 10.
Is it just like,
hmm, that's a 10 noted?
Or is it like confetti and we celebrate
and I put on your favorite song and we dance
and like, I don't know, it's. What's your reward for a 10?
It doesn't sound like there's a punishment for a four,
but the feeling is a punishment.
No, if I'm giving you a 10 date,
I want my tires pumped.
I want a present.
I want a gift.
Is that a euphemism?
Tires pumped?
Have you never heard that?
No.
What do you mean?
I just didn't know if. Is that a Minnesota thing?
Haven't you ever heard like,
oh, I'm going to pump your tires?
Like, I'm going to pump up your tires?
We just met.
I've never heard this.
You've never heard that anywhere?
No.
I love it.
I'm like, I butcher sayings a lot.
Is this fake?
I'm going to pump your tires.
I've been saying this for years.
I've heard pump the brakes.
Say slow down.
But no, no.
I'm literally, the only thing I'm getting,
because it's a stupid Gemini,
you can't turn it off,
I'm getting like, better fuel economy.
Pump your tires idiom.
It's to compliment or to compliment.
Or to inflate someone's ego.
I get it.
I'm going to start using it.
Pump your tires.
Gas you up.
Similar.
Yeah.
I'm going to pump up your tires.
Okay.
Yeah.
It's nice to have your tires pumped.
It is.
It's not fun to pump your own tires.
I feel like I entered the twilight zone.
Pumping your tires is one of those things
that is intimidating the first time you do it.
It's like, what if I burst them?
How do I know?
What are these gauges?
I just did this the other day at Costco,
and I'm like, what if this explodes in my face?
It's scary.
But do they have these digital ones
that you can even plug into your car,
and it just cycles air straight into your tires,
and it kind of tells you when to stop?
Yeah, that's the Costco one.
You hit what you need it to,
but you've got to find the little number on your tire,
make sure it's right.
Read it.
And I'm like, still,
what if it's got a weak sidewall,
and then right at me?
Yeah.
I'm a little bit of a hypochondriac.
Uh-huh.
Get scared easily.
And that extends to your tires?
Yeah.
I have a lot of car anxiety.
I had to do the thing where you put a coin in
to see how much of the head is showing,
and then I was like, okay, well, it's touching the head,
but then if I rotate it a little bit,
then it's like, nah,
and at that point, I said, we've got to get new tires.
It's tough.
But on this one, yeah,
I think if she's not going to get over it,
then that's not on you,
because what she's doing is a little wonky in the first place.
And this guy, it's also up to him.
Like, we're projecting our own experience and baggage onto that.
He might be like, no, I actually really like my love language's data, too.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, he could get on board.
I'm trying to figure out a way that data could be a love language,
and I'm thinking that you assess the types of chores
that your significant other enjoys,
and you show a chart of how it's otherwise improved their day
to encourage them to do more of those chores
and less of other chores or eat certain ways,
like just keeping a spreadsheet of people's habits
and then judging their mood off of it.
Dude, that's so hot.
To try to help them live a better quality of life,
I guess that would be data love language.
Yeah, there's something crazy.
I just keep seeing all these psychological videos from love people,
and this one guy was like,
if you kiss your partner for six seconds every day
or you hug your partner four times a day,
you'll live longer.
And so I'm like, okay,
a little data sheet of how many hugs did I get today?
Under, under.
We got to go more tomorrow.
I'm down.
For the six-second kiss, what type of kiss are we talking?
Is it just like a muah, or you got to get in there?
I think it needs to be a little passionate is what they were saying.
You got to get in there.
Yeah.
Rom-com.
Yeah.
They didn't specify how much tongue.
Okay.
Will my kissing and hugging offset the hot dogs that I eat,
which are moving?
Move seven minutes from my life?
There's a shot.
I mean, married men live longer.
That's awesome to hear.
I know.
Yeah.
So, you know, as long as your wife's helping you out,
like watching the hot dog intake.
She doesn't like hot dogs, so I only have hot dogs,
so I'm not with her.
So just stick with her.
I had hot dogs this weekend.
There you go.
I had three.
I was real tempted.
In a row.
Real tempted by Costco.
It was for breakfast.
Oh, my gosh.
It was a fashion party.
You're an animal.
We were all leaving,
and we needed to go.
We needed to eat the hot dogs,
and I did my part.
That, no.
Now I'm like,
I thought a hot dog sounded good
when I saw it at Costco the other day,
and now I'm like,
not after this.
Nope.
Very good.
I'm over it.
Very good.
Okay, this next one I got for us.
It's coming from AITA Pod,
and it is titled,
My friend, 36 male,
just sent me, 36 male,
this text before meeting his newborn.
Okay.
To make your first visit with baby a bit smoother,
we have a couple of quick guidelines for guests.
We know it looks long,
but it's intuitive once you're in the space.
Feel free to skim,
but also, please don't skim.
Thanks so much.
And then we get a bullet point list
of what they're expecting on this visit.
Okay.
General, please text me two minutes before arrival
so we can begin transitioning baby.
When you come in,
just pause briefly
so baby can register your presence.
Try to come in calm and grounded,
if you've had a chaotic day,

cologne, detergent, et cetera.
Next section.
Interaction with baby.
No need to engage right away.
Baby will notice you when he's ready.
A soft smile is perfect.
Full teeth can feel like a lot early on.
Speak in a calm, measured tone.
Full sentences are great.
He's very receptive to cadence.
Try to avoid overly performative baby voice.
Eye contact should be gentle and intermittent.
Think friendly coworker,
not intense.
Intense eye contact across a bar.
If offered to hold him,
take him confidently.
Please support the head, neck,
and overall situation.
Language and commentary.
Helpful.
He seems very aware.
There's a lot going on there.
You can tell he's processing.
Please avoid,
he's so small.
Uh-oh, if he cries.
Or comparing him to other babies.
If baby cries,
no need to react verbally.
Just stay calm,
calm, and present.
He can feel when people spiral.
Please don't ask,
what's wrong?
We try not to project.
Food and external factors.
If you've had garlic,
onions,
or anything aggressive,
just flag it.
If you feel even slightly under the weather or off,
we can always reschedule.
Departure,
soft exit is best.
No big goodbyes.
Baby doesn't require closure at this stage.
We've been friends for a long time.
But this is giving me an anxiety attack.
Probably just going to say hi and get out of Dodge.
Like, bro, come on.
Okay.
There are things in there that are totally what you should do.
But the biggest thing I have is,
if you're still calling the child baby,
the baby is within a month of life.
Otherwise, you would call them by their name.
They might have put name,
but I think for privacy's sake,
it got smudged.
It got smudged out,
so I said baby.
Because you do say baby in the hospital.
Everyone says baby.
Baby.
They just call it baby.
Do we know how old baby is?
OP in the title of their post put 0M.
Yeah, so newborn-ish.
I'm going to tell you,
Worm.
For most of that,
I actually was surprisingly 100% on board.
Yeah.
100%.
I got down to about 80.
What did it for you?
What took you down?
I would have to go back to some of the details.
Here's the thing.
That is a lot.
But also being in the newborn trenches is a lot.
Mm-hmm.
And yeah,
your friends are entitled to be a little unreasonable
because it's an unreasonable thing they're going through.
Also,
clearly they have had some bad experiences,
whether it's with in-laws coming.
Yeah.
Or bringing harsh vibes.
Somebody was too intense.
Someone was too,
and some of the stuff that's silly
is you don't have to say goodbye.
The baby doesn't fucking know.
Maybe also if it's not three months yet,
baby's not going to notice you at all.
Yeah.
They can't even really see that far.
They can't see.
No.
- It's still all black and white.
Yeah, like some of those things, but also I have a feeling that most of this is actually nothing to do with the baby.
This is about mom and dad.
Yeah, absolutely.
And clearly something like the garlic thing, maybe it's mom is sensitive or maybe dad is sensitive.
Maybe they're not sleeping well.
Maybe mom's having a really tough postpartum and is overly sensitive to some of these things because that is a huge, huge thing that women go through that we don't talk about.
I'm like, this is me.
I don't want to see your teeth.
Blame it on the baby.
And if this is a male friend, I'm guessing he hasn't gone through this.
He has no idea what postpartum is like.
And so I'm willing to say just like, hey, dude, whatever their boundaries are, just take it because they're going through more than you are.
You know, I'm talking as if I had a kid the most recently in this room.
So it's the memory is still fresh and like, yeah, I don't know.
It's not about you.
No.
It's about actually making them and probably.
Mom comfortable during this really overwhelming time.
So just play along.
Do what makes them comfortable.
I think you're spot on, too, about like this is coming from maybe some bad experiences, too, because the one comment here about language and commentary, please avoid, quote, he's so small.
Sure.
Maybe the baby was in the NICU.
Probably a premature baby.
So it's like they've been so excited.
People come over and then it's like he's kind of tiny.
He's crying a lot.
Little.
Like, is he OK?
So little.
Yeah.
And it's just like, God, I'm like, I'm inviting you over.
This is an exciting milestone.
You're meeting my baby.
Like, be positive or shut up.
Like, don't say anything.
So I feel like a lot of this is coming from a place of like, OK, we've had a bad experience or like we're really trying to avoid one now going forward.
Yeah.
So when we were in the early stages, like even just as small as like, OK, I would tell my parents like, oh, it's time for for her to go down for a nap.
And they'd be like, all ready.
And I'd be like, yeah, all ready.
Like, yes, we have a schedule and I don't want your judgment.
And like, they weren't judging.
They were just asking questions.
Yeah.
But every question graded me.
And so.
Because you feel like you're not being like respected or like almost trusted with your decision, too.
It's like, why are you second guessing me?
Yeah.
So like, I got to deal with the little monster if she doesn't go down.
Not you guys.
You're fun.
Grandma, grandpa.
You get to leave.
Yep.
And they didn't mean anything by it.
But as a result, you know, we had our ground rules.
No, because they're excited.
They're like, really?
Yeah.
Like, they just want more time.
It's like, yeah, no, no, no.
And not to overly soapbox, but I'll say it again.
Like, postpartum is totally under discussed in this country and probably in other countries, too.
But I don't live in other countries.
And so, you know, just be sensitive to the fact that, like, mom has gone through an incredibly.
And it's still going through.
And it's still going.
Like, postpartum is a whole separate other journey.
And the first year is a lot.
And you have no idea what they're going through.
I mean, forever going forward.
I think they just are talking about adding the word, like, matrescence to the dictionary.
And it's basically, like, just the change that people that have children go through.
Like, your brain matter changes everything about your body, everything.
So it's, like, it is this lifelong thing after you have kids.
Matrescence.
That's a good word.
Yeah, it's also, like, there's stuff missing on that list.
Yeah.
What would you add?
You're supposed to have a Tdap shot if you're going to come visit a baby that's that young.
Oh, yeah.
Whooping cough.
There's nothing about even, like, if you feel sick.
Don't come.
Just, like, a slightly, if you're feeling under the weather, we can always reschedule.
But I've been, like—
Zero months?
I'd put a mask on anybody coming to see that baby.
I know.
Zero months?
We had face masks required in my house for, I think, the first three months.
Yeah, because they don't have an immune system.
Yeah.
And if your baby gets a fever, that's straight to the emergency room.
Isn't it?
Yeah.
Within the first three months.
Like, it's not like, "Oh, we'll see how it goes."
Mm-mm.
It's not a choice.
No.
So we took that shit serious.
Mm-hmm.
Normally, people visit after six months.
Three to six months is when you open the visitation.
You open the visitation window depending on the health and state of the family.
I know people who were visiting babies within the first couple weeks.
Yeah.
For sure.
I will say, this is giving fresh, especially with the comment here, "Please support the
head, neck, and overall situation."
That's three months already.
Yeah.
Head and neck.
Like, six months, they can start to, like—
Yeah, they're pretty good.
They're more upright.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
You know, they've had some tummy time.
Neck muscles are getting built.
Mm-hmm.
But, you know, this is feeling fresh.
And I like it.
Yeah.
Everybody's different, too.
There's some people who are like, "Come see the baby right now.
It's their baby."
Yeah.
They can choose.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know what?
I'm pissed off at this friend for this post.
Are you?
I'm understanding.
I'm for dogging on him.
Pissed off.
He doesn't know.
I would be a little pissed if I saw my friend share this.
I'd be like—
Yeah, I wouldn't like that.
"I'm trying to do right by my baby."
Yeah.
"You don't have to come.
Fuck you."
Yeah.
Ew.
No, I—
Yeah.
But I also, like, you know, before I had a kid, then I could totally see being like,
"Dude, this is a lot.
Did you see Kyle's text?
This is nuts."
Aggressive.
Yeah.
So it's—but, you know, just give your friend some grace.
Mm-hmm.
A lot of people love the post.
They're just picking up on all the cheeky parts like the "please support the head,
neck, and overall situation."
The one that got me was—
By the way, please be sensitive to my overall situation when you come over as well.
Yeah.
The other one that got people a lot is, "If you've had garlic, onions, or anything aggressive,
just flag it."
Yeah.
What is that about?
"I drank a bottle of hot sauce before this."
Really?
That would be something I would flag.
No.
That would be something I would flag, I guess.
Like, what did you eat?
What are the aggressive things I could have besides garlic and onions?
Garlic and onion is interesting, too, because I know during pregnancy, some people can become
really sensitive to that, like the smell, and it, like, exudes through the skin, even.
Oh, yeah.
But I've never heard of that, like—
Sweat garlic.
—after the fact.
I don't know.
Yeah.
Just a big garlic hater, maybe.
Maybe it is baby.
Maybe baby got a whiff of garlic and was just distraught.
Didn't like it.
You never know.
Not to—
Belabor this, too, but, like, that—within the first three months, you're also still
in witching hour territory, where they just cry for no reason.
Oh, the afternoon is just miserable.
And so, like, there is something—
Oh, I was having baby fever until right now.
Yeah!
The afternoon!
It goes away.
Right now.
Well, it—
Witching hour?
And then it comes back.
It changes.
Yeah, the witching hour is just—it was around sundown.
Yeah.
And, you know, my daughter just became inconsolable for about an hour, and, like, that just means
I'm living on the bouncy ball.
Yeah.
Or I go outside to the rocking chair.
Like, and it is—there's nothing—she's fed.
She's—
Everything's good.
Everything's fine.
They just are—life is painful.
Yeah.
That was me.
My parents used to go around and find trains, and then I was good.
I loved the sound of a train.
We love trains.
Just changing the environment helped when Henry was an infant.
Like, if he's screaming, like, "Go outside!"
Yeah.
"Go in the car!"
Anything.
"Don't even do anything with the car.
Just change the way—change the world around him slightly so he's confused for long enough
to stop crying."
Oh, my gosh.
All the parents out there are like, "Yes!
I feel heard."
And a lot of people do point out that, like, this guy must not have ever been around kids,
doesn't have kids.
They go, "This poor delusional man has clearly never been around babies.
This should be entertaining.
Please update after he's been a parent for three months."
"This poor delusional man" is the name of my autobiography.
Mm-hmm.
No!

Okay, let's talk about some food because you guys do a lot of food stuff on your channel.
You have a series where you'll make stuff without a recipe.
Mm-hmm.
Yes, we do.
What do you think is the hardest thing you've ever made?
Oh, my God.
So, without a recipe, yeah, is our cooking show where we -- it's like Great British Bake Off but with idiots.
So, we're guessing our way through stuff we don't know how to make and then presenting it to the world's biggest celebrity chefs.
Mm-hmm.
It's so time-stalling to try and think about.
It's all hard because cooking -- baking, you know, without a recipe is science.
Mm-hmm.
It's not very precise.
Yeah.
So, like, there are literal -- like, baking soda, like, and baking powder, those are chemical agents that do things.
Yeah, one time I put --
So, it actually is very much science.
I put too much either baking soda or powder with blackberries and it created a chemical reaction that, like, made people's tongues itch.
What?
You put too much -- put too much base because, like, baking soda, like, it's a base, right?
Yeah.
So, it's not very acidic but there are also things that are basic.
Mm-hmm.
And some of those things don't jive if they sit overnight together.
So interesting.
How did your olive oil cake turn out?
I just saw that thumbnail.
Honestly, I don't remember anything.
I'll come taste test.
I'll be a guinea pig.
Yeah, you want to come judge?
Just put me in a taste test line.
Yeah, we also have phoning it in which is where there's chefs in our ears telling us to make something but they can't say what it is.
They only tell us the instructions.
Uh-huh.
like fill in the gaps yourself oh my god it's a super fun show it's basically telephone cooking
it's like a technical challenge on it is have you had paul hollywood on yet oh what a dream
get a handshake i'm obsessed i'm so nervous for the first season without prue i know it'd be crazy
it's happening now i know prue's gone i haven't started watching it yet though i kind of wait
until the winter.
I kind of wait
until late November
to binge the whole season
on one of the long weekends.
Yeah, not waiting
is torture.
This meal
that we're about to discover
is also a little torturous.
Okay, let's get in.
It's coming from our
slow cooking it's titled i'm worried about this details in the comments and we immediately get
a picture of a crock pot with what am i looking at a bunch of potatoes and pork meat and i noticed
the pop tart hanging off to the side there right off right off camera the whole logo is included
that's beautiful it's sort of a beautiful not intended to be a highlight of the pop tarts but
i and can we see if we zoom in potatoes and chicken breast it's something with a nice
fatty skin layer around it and what flavor of pop tarts are we looking at if we just kind of uh
what what i don't think we zoomed in are we supposed to now discern that that's not
strawberry strawberry pop tart could be a ham it's hard to say i was wondering if it was ham
well it's got a nice layer of fatty skin on it so we do get we get some details i'm also going
to warn you going into this question keith cooks a lot i don't i don't either and that's why i'm
good on the show without a recipe because i'm bad and i cook a lot but i don't bake a lot okay so
like whenever they're like things that are cooking i can do well things that are baking do you know
your way around a crock pot oh i went to college okay okay i went to college isu beats yeah which
is actually so easy what's that it's it's slow cooking in a bag with a with a water circulator
it's a french technique to make things perfectly it sounds like it's like hard but it's actually
the easiest way to cook ever i'm gonna need a tutorial do you have a video on that yeah okay
i did when we do the ramen episode i think i sous vided my duck for the ramen duck he's really

Okay.
That sounds fine.
I'm on the edge of my seat because I don't know what's expected here.
I don't know.
I'm looking to you for signals every time.
This will be fine.
I mean, it's all going to cook fine.
It's going to be overcooked and bland.
That's what's going to happen here.
I mean, there's no seasoning, not even a pepper.
Right.
And no salt.
Even if it was salt water, it would be pretty good, actually.
So that is where Opie leaves us for a while.
Okay.
Comments start rolling in.
I think your husband heard about sous vide?
Sous vide, yeah.
Is that what you're talking about?
Yeah, sous vide.
It's spelled like that.
Sous vide.
But didn't really understand how it works.
He is cargo culting the sous vide side process right now.
Huh.
This is a pump the tires situation.
This is some idiom I don't know.
I know.
I don't know.
Opie does respond.
He has 100% never heard of that and wouldn't approve if he did.
What's his reasoning behind all of this?
They want to know.
Like, why just throw this in the pot?
Opie says,
This is the way he's always made it, and it's his favorite.
Okay.
Okay.
Someone goes,
You know what, then?
Okay.
Yeah.
As long as your enjoyment isn't mandatory and he won't be offended if you fix yourself something you like,
then he should be allowed to make his roast the way he likes every now and then.
Opie says,
He will want me to try it.
But he won't insist I eat the full meal or anything.
Last time I made chili to bring to a dinner party, I asked him to taste it,
and he said it was vile, too spicy.
But he tried it.
This man clearly hates flavor, so that makes sense to me.
This is just the whitest white man from the middle of the country who flavor seasoning as an assault.
You know what?
That's a culture, too.
Someone goes,
Did he learn this in prison?
And Opie goes,
No, he's never been to prison, but I feel like there are better food options there.
Though this is technically criminal if the food police ever find out.
And then we get an update.
So here is how it turns out looking.
Okay.
Oh, there's carrots.
Where'd those come from?
Okay.
Okay.
She snuck them in when he wasn't looking.
Yeah.
This is the 24-hour mark.
Carrots were added by him approximately four hours ago.
We're detectives.
Sure.
Not boiling as lid was off for a few minutes.
It's now been 24 hours.
Here are the results.
Husband has proclaimed that this pot roast. Roast is delicious.
He has come back for seconds.
Me.
I ate a bite of all of it.
The meat tastes obviously very bland and is stringy and hard to chew.
Yeah, you called it.
The potatoes are vile and I couldn't swallow the bite I took.
The carrots were just carrot-flavored mush.
Zero out of ten.
Do not recommend.
She's rating the date again.
We're back.
We were right back where we started.
Additional info.
Apparently,
the 24 hours is how long it took to cook.
This is going to be sitting on warm until it's all gone.
I will not be consuming any more of it.
It's only going to get worse.
That was at least four pounds of beef.
That's like days of meals.
Is that safe?
No.
No.
No.
No.
Food poisoning coming up.
It's not.
It's not the worst.
Beef is pretty resilient.
But it's not good for you.
You're not going to get like. You're going to die.
Your stomach's going to hurt, though.
But yeah, it's going to hurt.
Beef is an interesting one where you think cooking things forever just makes it tender,
but eventually some things, they get tough again.
So they go through a process where they'll get tender and then you keep cooking it and it gets worse.
So there is a reason that things cook for a certain amount of time at a certain temperature.
Because also, if it started off high, right, that's not good.
No, you want to go low and slow.
If you're going to do it low and slow forever,
you can sear it to get flavor on it, which is a high-temperature moment.
But if you give it an hour at a high temperature, you're shocking it and it's going to make it tough.
No, I don't cook and I feel like I even knew this was going to end badly.
Honestly, if you just replace the water with beer and cut the cooking time in half, it'd be pretty good.
You still need salt.
You still got to put salt in there.
You're so good.
I don't know if what you're saying is right, but I'm like, this feels like really high-brow chef.
People use Coca-Cola for like this or red wine.
I know about Coca-Cola.
I've heard about the. All of these things will work.
Because it's the sugars, right?
Yeah, there's sugar in there.
And there's like, it's just like, it's a flavor that we like.
Yeah.
Every Jewish mom in my town, they were for their brisket on Passover.
They'd go, is this my secret?
And then they'd look around, they'd go, the secret's Coca-Cola.
And they all have the same secret.
I did.
There was one time I was making a brisket for a Passover and we realized we didn't have any beef stock.
But we did have beef ramen packets.
And that's basically like a bouillon.
And I used it with red wine.
And it was one of the most delicious.
Ever.
Because there's so much sodium and salt.
Yeah.
And MSG.
So it was basically MSG brisket, which was really good.
I'm getting hungry now.
But I was just broke.
Should we go get some brisket?
I love brisket.
Pause the app, get some brisket.
Keep it going.
Brisket might have been able to take that 24 hour break.
Have you ever done a mid-episode snack break where you go get some food, come back?
No.
You wanna?
I'm very tempted.
I'm very tempted.
But I'm also envisioning the nap I'm going to have on the other side of this.
And I'm like, you know.
All right, post-record, fine.
I'll have to get another 40 ounces of caffeine.
I know.
I'm just, bye-bye Diet Coke.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, let's get away from the food for a second here.
Because we will be back.
Okay.
We will be back eventually.
I actually was scared.
Yeah, no.
But something else you guys do quite a bit on your channel, you bring out the polygraph.
We sure do.
This is fun.
This is all based on us.
I like this.
This plays about us.
It's curated.
A little lie detector moment.
Do you believe in them, first and foremost?
No, no.
So, yeah, we've done a bunch of lie detectors.
And the guy that we were using for a while then became the de facto lie detectorer on
YouTube, which was fun to see him.
Other people hired him.
Get a little career.
Okay.
Yeah.
He's got this great weird humor.
Very.
He's weird.
Try energy.
And then there's also like formats that we did in the beginning of Try Guys where like
we just would do it and then leave it.
And then Vanity Fair was like, and thank you so much.
We'll make a series with that.
And interview celebrities.
And not to say that we're the only reason they do that show, but, you know, we might
be one of the reasons.
Yeah.
Probably the reason.
Maybe one of them at least.
So I have some minor regrets there.
But they're just fun.
They're great comedy vehicles.
And so even in a show I do now called Trolley Problems, we bring it back out.
And it's fun to put your friends under the spotlight, under the guise of truth.
An interrogation.
Interrogation.
Yeah.
So we really lean into the interrogation element of it all.
Okay.
You are going to love it.
You are going to love this next one.
Okay.
Awesome.
So this is coming from r slash relationships.
And it's titled, I, 31 female.
agreed to a prenup with my 34 male fiance. No problem. Now, I know there's a polygraph involved.
Whoa. Whoa. A little background throwaway account for obvious reasons. I grew up in a small
southern town, went to a mid-sized college for fashion merchandising, went to work in my field,
and three years ago, I met my fiance. Let's call him Barry. I am reasonably successful at my job,
and Barry is ridiculously successful at his, in addition to coming from a fairly well-off
family. We started dating long distance, and then I moved to his city with a promotion,
and we moved in together. I love this city and all of my new friends here. I love my position,
and I love my fiance. We're looking at houses now and everything. We're a great match. Barry
is charming, wonderful, thoughtful, and attentive. Everything I want in a man.
His family is very supportive of us and our plans, as is mine. When he proposed last year
with a beautiful ring at the beach, I gleefully accepted. We talked about it, and we agreed on a
prenup to protect us both, in case of the worst. My motivation was to protect the inheritance
I'm anticipating from my grandmother, a family farm of about 50 acres, and my parents' home
when they eventually pass. There's also some jewelry and antique china and other things
that I would never want to lose.
It's not a lot compared to Barry's holdings, but it's mine, and I would never want anything
to happen to it, nor would I want anything from Barry if we divorced. So I didn't think
anything of agreeing to a prenup. Now his lawyer is putting it together. We're still
over eight months out to the wedding date, so this is a perfectly reasonable step. My
lawyer looked it over and agreed that it was pretty fair, according to the laws of our
state. I agreed with him that we should go ahead with it, and he made the arrangement
for this Friday. I went ahead and took the day off to go sign the papers and have lunch
with Barry to then celebrate. But when I got it back from my attorney, I noticed that part
of what I'll be expected to do is participate in a polygraph examination. So will Barry.
I can put together a list of questions for him, and he can do the same for me. I've done
one of these in the past for security checks, so I know how they work. But here's the problem.
When Barry and I got together at first and were exchanging particulars after our first
date, he casually asked me about the number of men I had been with. The usual sexual history
stuff that all adults do. At the time, I didn't think much of it, and I gave him my usual
answer. Five. That seemed reasonable, even a little conservative at the time.
What's the real number, girl? I only counted long-term relationships since high school, and the boy I lost
my virginity to as real relationships. Not the high school boys I fooled around with or the other guys
I've met. But here's the thing. In the suggestions my attorney sent me for questions, where he told
me what the other side will be asking, there are a lot of questions about sexual past and infidelity.
Here's my problem. I wasn't entirely honest with Barry back then. My actual count of guys I've had sex with
is higher. I was a free spirit in college before I figured out what I wanted to do,
and I took a year off to travel before graduating. That was a very fun year, sexually speaking.
I made a lot of mistakes, of course, but I was getting valuable experience and learning a lot
about myself. But I know Barry will not be happy with the real number. Maybe even enough to postpone
or cancel the wedding. What can the number be?
That would devastate me. But his family is a little conservative and religious. I know he
doesn't have much respect for infidelity or women who sleep around. I'm terrified that he'll ask me
those questions or learn about the few times I've cheated in past relationships. We've been together
almost constantly for three years, and I love him deeply. I don't know what to do. I'm no longer the
who did all of those things. I've grown and matured. I just don't think Barry will see it that way.
Less sexually experienced than me, only eight partners total, and he does get a little jealous
when I mention my exes. He found out something that I did with one guy that I've declined to do
with him, and he was hurt about it for weeks. I don't know what he'll do if he learns about all
that I've done. So what do I do? I've already confirmed my appointment for Friday before I
figured this out, and now I'm a train wreck. If I back out, he's going to want to know why. If I
don't know why, he's not going to trust me. I'm a basket case, and I can't even go into work right
now. Thoughts? Wow, this is juicy. I need to know the number. It's like, I know what number do you
start to go like, oh, this is a problem for me. I don't see. I'm like, I don't even care. It's
just like the lie. And I think you didn't tell him because you knew he probably wouldn't like
the number. So I'm like, I don't know. It's probably like 20, maybe 30, 35.
I mean, she didn't have a very good time.
Who cares? That's fine. But he cares.
But Barry cares. A little jealous, a little insecure.
I think the easiest thing you can do, you've got a lawyer, he's got a lawyer. Your lawyer can
present the fact like, hey, everybody knows that polygraph tests can have easy false positives.
I don't want something false positive creating something that you have a problem with me about
because it's telling you something true, and now you don't believe me and you believe a machine.
Yeah.
I don't believe in polygraph tests. I think that's the simplest response. They
historically been used to not accurately prosecute people.
No.
There's no business putting a machine in our relationship.
You either trust me or you don't.
Yeah, that's it.
Why do you need a machine to tell you that I'm telling you the truth?
Yeah, and they are wrong.
Oh, this is fascinating because so your stance is we should double down on the lie
and get rid of the lie detector. And is that what side you're on as well?
I mean, I'm in the boat of like, honesty is always the best policy when it comes to you,
partner. But at the same time, I think a body count is something that's
inherently a little unhealthy. Like, it just kind of feels toxic to me.
It's sophomoric to even talk about.
Yeah. So I'm just like, as long as you aren't cheating on Barry, as long as,
you know, you were honest about the status of your health prior to
being intimate and sexual with Barry, like, I'm like, okay, whatever.
I don't know. Is this like, why open the can of worms?
This is a slight tangent, but I feel like there are a
lot of guys who have a weird thing about their partner's body count where they want to have the
higher number. And I just think it's so weird and controlling and backwards. Like, they want to know
that they're experienced, but then they want to pretend that their partner has slept with no one
else. I know. Where do you think? I mean, it's control. Misogyny. Yeah. Yeah. I'm like, it is
interesting, though, because I do think that's the case a lot of times. Get you a guy who celebrates
college. Let's go. I think she should say, here's a deal. No polygraph test, but I'll do the thing I
did with that guy. And then I bet he'll be like, deal. I feel like that's fair. I bet he'll be like,
deal. Well, also, I'm a little confused why her lawyer didn't advise her and tell you like,
hey, babe, your inheritance is safe. You don't need a prenup to protect inheritance. Inheritance
is automatically separate. Yeah. There you go. So funny. I didn't know that. So like, where was
the lawyer coming in there? Bad lawyer.
Bad lawyer. I'm like, and the lawyer should have been like, my client is not taking a polygraph.
They are not accurate. Yeah, that's easy. So nowhere do we think that she should go to him
ahead of time and say, hey, like, OK, two options. One, I know we're doing this. Like, look, I'm kind
of nervous about like, what kind of questions do you want to ask? That's option one. Option two is
like, hey, I know we're going to go into this polygraph test and like, I want to tell you about
something from my past that.
Yeah. Like I had told you that maybe I wasn't 100 percent truthful about.
I first would start with, hey, I just got notified that you want to do a polygraph. What's that
about? He's not even telling her. She's finding out through the lawyer. Yeah. So I think that'd
be question one of like, whoa, what's this about? What's this about? OK, but macro, macro, macro,
like she is going into marriage and holding this like, you know, untruth. I won't go so far as to
reveal that it is OK to carry some untruths with you into your marriage and therefore forever.
They're getting a prenup. Yeah. They already don't fully trust that they're going to say.
Are we a prenup hater over there? I'm just saying that that they are already putting a line
for the very like almost possible or likely scenario they won't be together.
See, if you're already planning for when you separate. Yeah. That's not the best sign.
There's there's a lot of different boats people fall into with prenups. I think that is one of
them. And the other is like, no, it just dictates how you want your separation to go if it does
happen, because otherwise the state determines. Yeah. And what the state would do for you is
probably a lot worse than what you and your partner would want. And so I've heard that
argument. Yeah. The whole conversation. It's a really interesting. I'm on the side that it
makes me uncomfortable to even think about. Yeah. But then it's also I could see the argument that
it's irresponsible to not think about. I was thinking about the statistics of relationships.
Yeah. I was a big prenup hater. And like,
when me and my husband-
- Until you got that inheritance.
- Well, once in a while,
goes into a joint account though then it's fair game so you always have to keep inheritance
separate but i think i just like i didn't really understand what they were so when he was like well
you know everyone in my family's gotten divorced like you know i would want a prenup and i was just
like you don't trust me like i remember crying but then you kind of talk about it and it's just like
it's just more easy and it's like you don't have to really involve the state it's already been
decided when you are your happiest when you are your most fair and want the best for the other
person so it's like you never know what's going to happen but make the plan for if it goes wrong
when you're the happiest so you're not the nicest good point i always for the people who are coming
like well i make lots and lots of money and i don't want a scenario where if we separate for
you to get half my money i'm like if you're good at making money why do you care just make more
money and your partner's probably supporting you in a way that's allowing you to make money yeah so
like i think if you're good at
making money it shouldn't be that big of a problem yeah just make more yeah so back to your question
though because it was an interesting one she right see so we because we're arguing should she go in
with obviously this guy's being being a dickhole and like don't make your partner take a polygraph
that said she is now basically debating i have this lie and i'm holding on to it and i think that
i should hold on to it forever i mean my hot take is there's definitely levels to lies i think so
the body count
doesn't feel like it's an end-all be-all it seems like a lie he wants he's definitely
sketched out from her in some way and so there is a comment from someone that says
she said in a previous post that it's north of 30 but under 50 49 amen amen sister we all been there
i don't know i don't even know what's average nowadays like people have a lot of sex in the
the counts are a little higher there they'd be pumping the tires it's cold you got to keep warm
one way or another i think people have a lot of sex everywhere yeah i think people like sex
i've heard though the younger generations are getting a little more reserved in their sex i
don't know i mean i bet there are there that was something that was like especially the two years
after like the biggest part of covid yeah i bet that's changing i'd like that was just that like
yeah people who didn't get to like date at all in high school suddenly entered college and like well
and then now they have adjusted and like no actually i want to have sex because i see all
the the gen z pointed like music and it's horny as shit but is that because they're not having sex
it's the yearning but i think it's getting them there and not to get us too far off track though
but there's a difference between like like oh i'm blanking on the two words but like you can
be um there's a difference between eroticism and being scantily clad there's a better word for it
like a lot of the new stuff it like lacks genuine eroticism it's the uh facade of eroticism maybe
yeah i really want to do a poll on this episode where i'm like gen z listeners
are you fucking or what op does have a comment why not it is under 40
so i think you were probably right with your 35 when i did my general math i know i think you
were probably spot on with that i just yeah i mean i'm there's like really not a number that i think
shocked me unless if it was like oh shit like you got to be deep into the hundos yeah i do know
someone that um does have that extensive of account and she actually went so far as to make
a spreadsheet and would like rate the encounters and like really describe them she was like why is
everyone getting a score well she's very analytical language data love language yeah that
data yeah i guess also my i also have a friend who you know she's she's the sex party type
and like but if you are that person and your number's that high then you are just that person
is my hunch like you don't be like actually now i'm ready for barry
oh maybe you don't get to seems like a lot of it was like one year she said that was a very fun year
well exactly that's my point she's in the 30s and it's like we're done europe yep saw the sites saw
the people had a good time i see london i see france exactly so you guys we do get an update
huge we get an update what did she do
first of all thanks to everyone who was supportive and had good advice and kind words for me
even those of you who were rude and mean ended up adding to my decision to discuss this with
barry last night we were at a very nice bar and restaurant for drinks with friends and once they
left barry and i got a booth and had a late dinner i was only a little buzzed two vodka martinis in
three hours i didn't know how else to bring it up without sounding sneaky so i just came out with
something like quote i'm
concerned about the poly okay he got a little concerned and asked why i told him that i had
fibbed when we first met and never bothered to correct it he asked what about i told him it was
the number of men that i'd been intimate with that's when things started to go badly
he got upset and asked how many i told him the number didn't matter it was the fact that i lied
that i was feeling guilty about he agreed it was
disturbing to him but he wanted to know how many men i tried to tell him it wasn't the issue but he
wasn't listening he got a little angry this guy sucks he doesn't shout or use a lot of profanity
but i could tell he was very upset by his face he said it was important for him to know i told him
it was important to me that it wouldn't have an impact on our relationship he told me that something
like this is going to have an impact on the relationship because he feels like i deceived him
for the last few years
i was crying at that point we talked for a long time and he tried to explain his position
and why he was so mad i told him i understood why he was mad and i just wanted to come clean
with him before we got to the poly it was a rough night we talked until the bar closed
he wanted to know exactly how many men and who they were he said that it didn't matter much
if we were just dating but he needed to know who his wife was before he married her
i tried to explain
that i was a much different person back then but he didn't want to hear about all of that
he didn't feel he could trust me now and said don't worry about the poly he wants to postpone
things until he can think about them including the wedding whoa this guy sucks he finally put
me in a cab home and said that he would call me tomorrow i've been a wreck all night and i didn't
get much sleep oh poor girl i'm mad at him but i'm more mad at myself for putting myself in this
position i'm heartbroken that i've hurt a good man and mad at myself for putting myself in this
i've messed up a great relationship no i've left him four messages so far today but i haven't heard
anything from him i woke up on the couch in my clothes from last night called work and told them
i was taking the day and i'm heading for the shower and bed now i thought i would update all
of you who were concerned about what happened i'll check back later and see what you have to say
i don't know how long i'll use this account i feel a little humiliated and exposed but it's
also been great getting everyone's feedback and advice thank you what happened to what the back
street boys said i don't care who you are where you've been what you've done as long as you love
me yeah well i was back in millennium barry did not hear that song this is and the i my heart
breaks for her and the fact that she thinks she's the one that ruined it no sorry barry's a child
barry's a petulant child and he doesn't deserve you yeah he's just mad that you wouldn't do that
thing you do with that other guy that's what i'm saying
really is probably what it's about it's like i need to know what type of person my wife is
this is controlling with a couple more people makes you not know who i am this is toxic you
wanted to marry me right you know me and love me enough to marry me when was this post is this
like current the past are we going to get an update sometimes this is actually 1954 is 11
years old there was another update on it that did get removed oh my god
ever so it does say i came clean with my fiance good news polygraph test is off bad news so is the
wedding oh my god i mean hey look if you're out there this is for the best yeah i mean and i know
that it sucks and you don't want to hear that well it's been 11 years i hope you've moved on
but uh that you do not want to be married to someone that uh is this affected by this small
of a thing it's it's really interesting
too because there is a comment from op here that is basically her saying he said that it wasn't his
business until we got engaged now it is his business that's ownership yeah this is yeah
it's very concerning very concerning i'm not seeing any other recent comments doesn't seem
like the account was really used after this did she get the farm well that would mean grandma
and grandpa died yeah that's gonna happen sound like she was kind of looking forward to it
she was like i'm that's gonna be cool when i get that inheritance oh my gosh and then oh and then
she could meet a local farm hand and fall in love a little farmer wants a hallmark movie yeah i love
a good hallmark movie netflix is really trying to up their game with that type too i'm getting into
it i've got lindsey lohan coming out of retirement for them remember that movie where it then cut to
them fake kissing no the big kiss at the end of the lindsey lohan christmas romance and then it
cut to clearly different people yeah a stunt double and apparently actually related to this
post it was her husband boyfriend who was not comfortable with her kissing husband yeah yeah
she's like i think she's converted and like is um very very like mindful of him bunch of little
bitch men out there bunch of little children it is tough i mean this is just ridiculous and i i
feel so bad like the line like you really like had a reaction to it and it was like i feel bad
for hurting a good guy no no no he's not a good guy no no no nothing more dangerous than good guys

got a bad rap because of a moment well let's hear the story let's see
so this next one is coming from boy dinner diaries
okay it's a place to share a meal and the story behind it and it is very recent only 10 days old
now titled well i outed my sex life to my in-laws how did we get here and then he shares a picture
of three in-and-out burgers yeah that's my boy look at those those look good he told his in-laws
he was getting a little in and out if you know what i'm saying
oh man so my wife and i do some kinky shit
i'm not going to go too in-depth all y'all really need to know is that there's some physicality
and some name calling involved it's typically game on at home we're both athletes she has a
very corporate high pressure job and sex is basically a constant we're pretty obsessed
with each other still three years now so whenever we have alone time we get laid
just sort of how it is i came home from my basketball game tonight and i was surprised
to see my wife's car in the garage on saturday night she's usually not home until a little later
typically she's at her mom's place as she does quite a lot with her family so i was excited to
see her it's kind of important to note there were no other vehicles at the house oh boy my kid was
out with her boyfriend all of that anyways i go inside directly on my right when i enter
is the kitchen which i don't look into because my wife is more or less standing at the door
when i opened it so like any other totally normal and loving and completely consensual relationship
i greet her by putting my hand on her throat and saying quote get over here slut
before pushing her up against the now open door against the wall with like some force because
that's what we do
oh
oh
and of course i met with an oh my god from the kitchen my wife had stopped by home with her
mother and sister to pick up some pickleball equipment on the way to the gym theoretically
they're playing right now and my wife is being roasted this all happened about an hour ago
so after an awkward explanation and some clarification that i am in fact
not treating my wife like shit when her family isn't looking
they left and i drove to in and out i crushed all of these burgers the orders are double double
animal style extra gild onions extra pickles double double mustard fried no tomato extra
pickles cheeseburger raw onion no tomato extra pickles i like pickles i got it and i really want
to talk about this so keep going i really really want to talk about the burger order
i like pickles and burgers this is a big meal but not insane on a game day in front of my wife's
family i've never been anything but loving caring a thoughtful partner also sarcastic and my wife and
i are competitive in a lot of ways but overwhelmingly they like me and i'm actually pretty close with her
folks i know they won't really think less of either of us for this but holy fucking shit is
it going to be awkward for a while i mean what do you even do but laugh you eat burgers that's what
way to go that's a boy dinner right there okay what are your questions about these burgers i've
never gone to a burger restaurant and gotten basically the same burger but ordered three
different ways yeah that is very surprising to me i'm like so before i had a double cheeseburger
before i came here and i like my burgers with everything on it and if i was gonna have more
than one burger i would just get two of the same burger and when you go to eat your burger do you
grab it and say get over here slut yeah i do i do i do that and but like normally like oh i'm i'm
hungry enough for two burgers i'm gonna get two cheeseburgers with everything i'm not gonna do
like one one way and one another way i want maximum uh food the way that i already like it
but how interesting because with other foods i would get three different slices of pizza
for sure i would get three different sandwiches if i could if you could i would get tapas but
burger is a food i've done it for a burger because there's a time where it's like i want a regular
cheeseburger with a bun and then i want it protein style wrapped in lettuce and i do in the same
sitting in the same sitting because i'm like i can't have two buns that feels aggressive i can
have three yeah but read the order again it's a double animal style a double cheeseburger
mustard grill so wait double double single cheeseburger with raw onions i'm not a big
for the non-californians talk it through double double animal style does have cheese no
yeah double double means double beef double cheese okay so that's double and then number two
it was a double cheeseburger double double but mustard grill which means they put mustard
onto the grill and the burger and they grill the mustard straight into the patty
yeah delicious by the way like yeah and then they didn't do it animal style for that one
no okay so those are two okay because animal style also yeah has all that sauce so you're
not going to taste the mustard grill if you cover it okay those are okay i'm kind of on
board with this guy now number three a single cheeseburger with raw onions no tomato no tomato
which is going to be delicious but it's just funny because these are very specific orders
yeah this guy gets it though yeah he gets it i want to eat burgers with him
i do kind of appreciate it because now i'm understanding the mustard thing it's a very
different palette yeah it's um just like a good smorgasbord yeah it really is the raw onion too
is going to give you something different honestly yeah shame on me for questioning this guy knows
what's up yeah it's just interesting i've just never done that i'll go to like shake shack and
i'll get a burger and a chicken sandwich and because those are two totally different things
and they're both delicious yeah and i honestly do it because i can't choose i love the best fries
so much and i also get cheese fries i can't i can't do they still have the crinkle cut right
yeah
best fries yeah they're really good i actually love in and out fries and i know they get a lot
of hate but they are so brave you to speak your truth are you getting a standard style not well
done um yeah no i don't ask i just just give it to me yeah and i know some people go crazy doing
them animal style or whatever throwing the sauce on their cheese sauce here
yeah you can that works it becomes like a potato side it's eaten with a fork it's no longer french
fries yeah that's like poutine going back to the sex part yeah let's get back there
we got lost in the burgers i think i mean this wouldn't happen to me but if it i'm trying to
think of like what's the closest that could and yeah i mean that is about as mortifying as it gets
but this dude's daughter's old enough that she's going on dates like so you're fine they're mature
you guys have been together for uh over a decade and a half you know they've only been here three
years what didn't he say three years i would assume second marriage oh yeah
i miss that yeah so basically we're still having sex like rabbits it's been three years we love
each other still oh shit okay yeah that's tough so second marriage but you know they're gonna get
over it no they'll be fine you guys are all
Adults, I'm sure her mom and dad have their own kink.
Everyone's got their kink.
But here's also the thing.
Maybe they have the same kink.
Maybe that's why it was so shocking.
The first time that they have like a big fight or something happens, grandma's going to be
like, I always had a bad feeling about him.
Ever since he grabbed you by the throat, I wasn't going to say anything, but I just,
what kind of guy does that?
It probably will come up again.
It's going to come up.
If there's ever issues.
Oh my God.
That is so funny.
So funny.
It's so good.
What's the worst your in-laws ever caught?
I'm trying to think of anything similar.
Anything?
Anything naughty?
No, I feel like it's hard because like my mom loves to like clean when she comes over
and I'm like, don't touch the drawer.
Stay out of the drawer.
And that's about it.
My mother-in-law, she's very, like, I don't even think she's been in our bedroom.
And then when we go to her place and stay with them in Minnesota, I just try to hide
the coconut oil and we call it good.
Right.
I want to say.
I want to say that maybe my sister-in-law has seen a thing that we said, maybe we just
don't talk about.
Sister-in-law, I feel like that's probably the ideal person.
That's better.
Yeah.
A Jason sibling is way better than parents.
Yeah.
Yeah.
My niece, when we were babysitting her, me and my mom, she walked out with my sister-in-law's
toy bag and just dumped it all over the living room.
And it's like, oh God, okay, I got to touch this stuff.
I hope it's clean.
I'm like throwing vibrators back in the bag.
And like, my niece is trying to turn them on.
And I'm like, how the fuck did you find these?
And my mom's like, what are those?
I'm like, it's fine.
So I'm like, my sister-in-law's got a great story to tell.
That's so funny.
Yeah.
Kids, man.
I'm like, Eloise, where did you find this?
Put it up top shelf in the closet after that.
But there's a couple comments from OP here.
The top one.
That's hilarious.
This is the kind of content I want to see more on this sub.
Next comment.
I'm a big fat guy, fast food expert.
And I can't believe you finished all three of these burgers in one meal.
Impressive.
I'm a big fat guy.
It's a really funny way to introduce yourself.
His flair, too, under his account is hungry man.
Hell yeah.
Next comment.
Next comment down.
Must be from all the sex.
Someone else goes, now they know you as freaky son.
And brother-in-law.
OP responds, I already know I'm going to have to field jokes about it from her sister at the very least.
I feel like, honestly, you're not going to get it the worst.
She is.
Her sisters are going to be, they're going to make this joke all the time.
They're going to be too embarrassed to do it in front of you.
But sisters, oh, she's going to get roasted forever.
I know.
I'd just be like, oh, like going to pickleball after that.
I would just love to be a fly on the wall of like, so that's normal for you guys, huh?
I'm just like hearing that conversation, the grilling.
But maybe it's healthy.
Maybe it'll have their family all talk about, you know, sex positivity because that moment happened.
Be like, I know you're embarrassed, but you know, your father and I, we've done some funny things.
You know, maybe that'll be, maybe it'll be healthy.
Your father and I, you know, he was mad at first because there was something in my last relationship I would do that I wouldn't do with him.
But after the polygraph, we opened up.
We opened up.
And he gets nines on all our dates.
This is giving very.
Very real account.
Two years old, active in a lot of other subreddits, including basketball subreddits.
And yeah, OP does give an update.
I literally just found this trying to scroll through comments.
Since folks asked for an update, here we go.
Last night, my wife got home from the gym, hanging out with family, and we chatted for a few minutes before we decided to put the obvious necessary talk off for the night.
Nothing was going to change.
And we had some unfinished business.
This guy is so horny.
Horny.
She had a reservation to go skydiving with some friends this morning, so she did that.
And then we spoke this afternoon.
They're wild.
According to her, she got absolutely, mercilessly roasted the entire time she was with her folks.
My wife has a history of being stubborn and a bit of a control freak, so it's a total personality mismatch to them.
They found this hilarious, apparently.
Can't blame them.
They're definitely not going to let either of us live this down, ever.
My sister-in-law has renamed me to Mr. Gray in her phone.
She showed it to me when she was over earlier.
Wonderful.
So good.
The talk wasn't long, and it sums up to,
This was really awkward and embarrassing for me, but the world isn't ending, and we definitely aren't stopping.
This was really just a freak, LOL, accident.
Her sister is usually the one who drives when everyone is hanging out, but she needed a headlight changed,
which is now handled, even though it took a fucking hour and a half because it's an HID light,
and therefore a complete pain in the ass.
So generally, my wife's car is sitting at her folks' place, just not last night.
In the end, there was no harm, no foul.
I'm told my mother-in-law thought the whole thing was pretty off-putting,
but moved on rather quickly because she, quote,
can't take the thought of me being abusive seriously or letting someone cross the line like that more than once.
So, W, mother-in-law.
Picture of my dinner.
Dinner is sous vide.
Sous vide chicken breast.
Hell yeah, that's a great way to do it.
Seasoned, then seared and topped with a mango jalapeno salsa with roasted zucchini and potatoes
that were boiled, mashed, and then roasted with butter, salt, pepper, garlic.

I'd have used habaneros, but I didn't feel like going to the store
and I had some really nice jalapenos.
Chilling in the kitchen.
I also made a batch of green onion kimchi and batch of dill pickles.
Yes, I can cook too.
It's my other love language.
Dang.
Wow.
This guy seems like a real catch outside of the one sort of glaring red flag.
Here is a picture of his dinner.
Oh, it's less impressive now that I see it.
He didn't plate it very well.
The presentation of the zucchini is upsetting.
I don't like it.
Really?
I don't like how the zucchini is plated.
It's like a spear through the middle of the plate with a lot of negative space.
I like it when it's sliced in circular formation.
Yeah, I mean, or even just two spears.
There's just one hog in the middle of zucchini.
The focus of the photo is also confusing
because the right side of the plate seems to be in focus
and then the left side is blurry.
This plate's a little more in focus, I would say.
Still.
It's a little better.
I still don't like the plating.
Yeah, the zucchini's odd.
It's giving baby lead weaning.
If you could send me a link to this subreddit,
I'm going to leave a comment when we're done recording.
Are you really?
Yeah, I'm going to say I don't like this plating.
It could be better.
A sous vide chicken breast is the best way to have chicken
because when you sous vide chicken,
you can cook it at a lower temperature than you have.
Like, food safe is 165 for chicken.
We all know that.
You can do like 150 and 155 on a sous vide
because if it's at a certain amount of time for that temperature,
it also kills all the bacteria
and then the chicken is like so delicious.
Way more moist.
It's way more delicious.
Yeah.
Yeah, I have a hard time with meat.
Like, once it gets to that certain, like, it's a little rubbery,
nope, can't do it.
Yeah, sous vide is the best for that.
I think you're going to really enjoy Boy Dinner Diaries.
I think you make a video rating their meals.
I kind of need to get in there because. There's also Girl Dinner Diaries, too.
Well, Girl Dinner and Boy Dinner are very different.
Very different.
I think of Boy Dinner much more similar to the burgers.
Boy Dinner to me is standing over a garbage can
eating a grocery store rotisserie chicken.
I'd say that's Girl Dinner.
Girls love the rotisserie chickens.
But do they stand in the kitchen and eat it?
Yeah.
Okay, well, I love that.
But this is a. No utensils.
We go in.
Non-gender conforming meal.
Same.
Yeah.
Yeah, you eat it or just tear that chicken apart.
Yeah, just tear it off.
Just eat it up.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's me.
Okay, so there's the Venn diagram.
Rotisserie chicken is in both.
Everyone loves rotisserie chicken.
You know what's crazy?
Is a food stamp card does not cover rotisserie chickens.
That's the most economical food.
Huh.
I know.
It's a joke.
We need reform.
Especially at, like, Costco.
They're like five or six bucks and they'll feed an army.
Yeah, no.
Grocery store.
Don't worry.
- I will say the rotisserie chicken price has gone up.
out of hand yeah at all stores except for costco it's like we're pushing 12 12.99 in minnesota it
was like 14 bucks but they have like five dollar cluck friday five cluck friday or something like
that and then it's five bucks okay we like that like yeah no it's getting it's getting out of
hand it's out of hand but the whole thing was it was like it's a really cheap meal yeah no i i live
for rotisserie chicken i love it one last one for you guys you buckled up yeah i'm buckled this is
coming from r slash marriage titled found a strange note written by my husband how do i
address it my husband 28 and i 27 female have been married for five years now and overall it's been a
very good relationship young marriage i'll cut to the chase today i was cleaning the house and i
found a torn piece of notebook paper on the floor i open it up and there's a note in there in my
husband's handwriting that says quote hey my dear
want to meet up late tonight i have something special planned xoxoxo oh it's possible that he
wrote this note for me and i just don't remember it but leaving me notes isn't really something he
would do he also keeps a lot of notes and notebooks and keepsakes from his high school
years so it's also possible that it was from that time period but i don't know how something like
that would end up torn out and on the floor i don't want to jump to conclusions but i find this
very strange, and I need advice on how to approach this.
What should I do?
Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy.
I think just straight up confront, hey, what's this?
Is this one of your old notes?
Point blank.
Or just like, what's this?
Yeah, I mean, I wonder if you don't, like, ooh, ooh.
The whole thing makes me feel yucky, but my mind goes to, like, see what he does that night.
Or, like, plan a dinner, or I don't know.
Hire a PI.
Yeah.
Hey, just give it one night and just see.
Yeah.
I mean, a lot of people's gut, like, I hear this story, and I'm like, it's not for you.
He doesn't write you notes.
No, I mean, it seems pretty obvious.
It's giving a fair.
It sounds like it's just a high school thing, though, because who the hell is writing anything down?
Also true.
Where would he be handing a note?
Why would he keep that note at home?
If he was doing it at work, he would write the note at work and give it to someone at work.
Or, like, Snapchat, WhatsApp, other apps.
Yeah, like, it sounds like a high school leftover to me that he was rummaging through.
It fell out.
What was he rummaging through?
And also, where was the note found?
Uh-huh.
Did it say where it was found, and I just didn't register?
Cleaning the house and just found a torn piece of notebook paper on the floor.
No mention of where.
Yeah, I need more details.
Were you doing spring cleaning?
Things like that.
Sometimes I'm like, oh, there's that little piece of wood that would be perfect to fix this broken thing I have.
Let me go find that piece of wood.
Okay.
I'm digging for this piece of wood.
I'm like, what the hell is this?
This is something from, like, seven years ago.
Get out of the way.
There's my piece of wood.
And I leave my rummage, and I go back and fix the thing with the little piece of wood.
So I could see, like, a reason you would rummage through old stuff if there was something you wanted out of your old stuff.
Like, oh, I used to have this old button that was part of my high school something.
I wonder if that is, you know, I could use that for something.
So you're saying there could be a perfectly reasonable explanation.
I think so.
I just don't think people write things.
It's on paper.
I don't know.
I think this sucks no matter what because, one, my impulse is just like, yeah, dude's cheating, right?
But then if he's not, let's say you do the confrontation, and you say, what's this?
And he goes, oh, I have no idea.
Either he says, oh, I have no idea, which is the worst.
And then, you know, he's fucking lying.
But if he's like, oh, that's an old note from a what?
Like, there's going to be that seed of doubt.
And now what do you do with that?
Yeah.
All the comments are basically like, you got to confront him.
You got to ask.
There's no world in which you don't.
Yeah.
I do think leaving, giving one day to see if he goes somewhere is a great way to do it.
And that would like, and then the next day, you can find like, oh, I found this yesterday, by the way.
What's this?
I have, like, is it universal that everyone has each other on Find Friends now?
I mean, I've got my husband on there.
I've got my whole friend.
I got everybody on there.
My whole family.
So I'm tracking his ass.
I'm going to see where you're going.
Yeah.
I had a story recently, though, where, or maybe, no, I saw it on TikTok, where the woman
was, like, getting suspicious of her husband.
And so hired a PI.
And the husband stays at work every day.
But the PI followed him, and he, like, left his phone at work.
So the location showed that he was there.
But meanwhile, the PI tracked him to, like, Chipotle.
Sorry.
Or In-N-Out.
No, the PI tracked him to In-N-Out.
Having an affair at a Chipotle?
Yeah.
Tracked him to In-N-Out.
And then it ended up being the sister-in-law.
And so they went in the car for 11 minutes at In-N-Out.
And then they came out all tussled.
Sorry.
You're having an 11-minute sex affair in an In-N-Out parking?
In-N-Out parking lot?
Maybe even just the drive-thru, because those lines are long.
Yeah, it could have been just a blowjob, too, you know?
Yeah.
Who, what self-respecting person is meeting up for an In-N-Out parking lot blowjob?
Someone who's got a PI on their tail.
Yeah.
What are you getting out of that?
I know.
Double double.
I mean, I know what he's getting out of it.
But, like, that must be now you're just, you're getting off on the, and it's the sister-in-law.
So that means you're getting off on the idea of, like, it's not even romance.
It's just like, oh, yeah, I'm fucking over my sister.
Oh, my sister.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Kinky parking lot blowjob is, that's a, that's a low point.
Diabolical.
A lot of people say, ask him, pay close attention to his face, body language when he answers.
The eyes usually give it away if they panic.
But, you guys, we get an update.
Okay.
I, okay, I really hope it goes well.
Update!
Y'all, I showed my husband the note, and he immediately bursted out laughing.
He helped run a movie.
He helped run a murder mystery dinner last month.
And the note was just a part of the game.
Yay!
I honestly feel so stupid now, but I started laughing, too.
And then we put the note up on the fridge.
And, by the way, good full circle.
I saw what you did there.
Did you?
You little, you planted that seed in the beginning of the episode.
Yeah.
That was good.
You know, it was kind of your own little mystery that just unraveled.
You see how good I'd be?
Yeah.
You're right.
You're right.
You're right.
You know, just by the time I die, it's fine.
But, yeah, do we believe it?
Murder mystery.
I believe it because he burst out laughing immediately, and that is way too specific
of a lie.
Like, no one has that lie locked and loaded.
True.
It was quick.
And just like, yeah, people don't write things down on paper.
I don't even know where, if there's paper in my house that's not for Henry to color
on, I don't know where it is.
I have realized I need to start practice writing more.
Like, I need a journal again or something, because my hands. My hand is, like, so weak.
Like, writing thank you cards, I'm like, after, like, two, I'm like, oh, my God, okay.
No, it took me almost a full year to get them out.
It was pretty embarrassing.
Yeah, but we don't write things on paper.
So that, to me, is like, yeah.
It makes sense.
Yeah.
Do you believe?
No, I'm not convinced, but. Really?
I'm a little jaded after almost six years of crazy Reddit stories, so. Oh, yeah.
I believe that.
I can see that.
You know, I've got a couple other doozies, and. I guess I would like to know more about the murder mystery.
Yeah.
Also, why was I not invited to the murder mystery?
To the murder mystery party.
Exactly.
I would be curious if the party really existed, and, like, you knew he had that party, or
is this the first time you're even hearing about this party?
Well, that, there's no way.
She must have known about it, and she was like, oh, yeah, you did go to a murder mystery
party.
Oh, yeah, okay.
And it also makes more sense to me, like, it's just, like, how does that piece of paper
fall out?
If it actually is an intended affair rendezvous. Why wouldn't it have been left at the party, though?
Let's just check it.
Yeah, that feels. Suit jacket.
Perfectly reasonable.
Because if it was for someone, he would have delivered the note, unless the note's delivered
to him, but that doesn't seem. I guess, right, okay, we're assuming that the note was delivered to him.
No, because he said, my dearest, it was in his handwriting.
Oh, it was in his handwriting.
It was in his handwriting.
Here's the thing.
I, every time I'm out in a suit, I put silly things in my coat pocket.
Do you?
And then it's almost like a, like, someone hands me something, I put it in my coat pocket
without picking.
And then the next time I wear that suit jacket, I'm like, oh.
Surprise.
Oh, always surprises in my jacket.
Sometimes there's money in there.
Every so often, I'll have forgotten, like, a $20 bill.
I have a dog poop bag.
I got two of them.
Hilarious.
You just never know what's in the pocket.
You never know.
I've got a business card of somebody who runs a YouTube channel that's for children.
And I'm like, I don't think I'll contact this person.
He's like, we should, maybe there's something we could do.
They're like, no, we don't do the same thing at all.
I don't run children's YouTube channels.
I'm not sure how I feel about children's YouTube channels.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
So you guys are, you're team mystery.
Guy Pockets are full of oddities and nonsense and garbage.
Okay.
Pieces of garbage.
Let us know what you guys think in the comments.
Thank you both so, so, so much for being here.

Podcast Summary
Key Points:
Botox is approved for adults with chronic migraine (15 or more headache days per month) and reduces headache days by 2–3 compared to placebo.
Prescription Botox injections are administered by a doctor and may cause serious side effects like difficulty swallowing, breathing, or muscle weakness hours to weeks after treatment.
Individuals with pre-existing nerve or muscle conditions, like ALS or myasthenia gravis, or a history of botulinum toxin use, are at higher risk and should avoid Botox.
Warning signs of serious side effects require immediate medical attention, especially if symptoms occur after injection.
The use of data-based scoring systems in relationships, such as grading dates against past partners, is criticized as performance-based and harmful to emotional connection.
A healthier alternative to grading is creating a shared, positive rubric for dating experiences, with rewards like fun activities instead of punishment.
A post about a new parent’s guidelines for visiting a newborn includes excessive detail and judgment, reflecting anxiety about postpartum sensitivity and infant care, not actual medical necessity.
The episode highlights how cultural and personal biases shape parenting advice, and emphasizes the need for empathy and grace during vulnerable times like postpartum.
Summary:
FAQs
Chronic migraine is defined as 15 or more headache days per month, each lasting four hours or more. Botox (onabotulinum toxin A) helps prevent these headaches in adults by reducing the frequency of migraine days, with an average reduction from six to seven days to eight to nine days per month compared to placebo.
People with 14 or fewer headache days per month should not receive Botox, as it is specifically approved for those with chronic migraine, defined as 15 or more headache days per month.
Botox is administered by a licensed physician through injections. The treatment is typically given by your doctor during a clinical visit, and the doctor will assess your medical history and suitability for treatment.
Serious symptoms such as trouble swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems, or muscle weakness may indicate a life-threatening condition. Individuals with pre-existing nerve or muscle conditions are at higher risk and should be monitored closely.
Patients should inform their doctor about any history of muscle or nerve disorders like ALS, myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, and medications containing botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects.
No, Botox should not be administered if there is an active skin infection at the injection site, as this can lead to complications such as spreading infection or an adverse reaction.
