Try Not to Say Like Challenge: Level Impossible

The transcript captures a candid, emotionally charged, and satirical discussion among creators about the realities of the influencer and freelance industry. Central to the conversation is the frustration with exploitative brand practices—such as net 30 to 90 day payment delays, lack of transparency, and ownership of creator content. The hosts critique the intense pressure and mental fatigue from constant deadlines, perfectionism, and the need to constantly respond to demands, often at the expense of personal well-being. There's a sharp critique of how capitalism treats artists, including the lack of protections and the risks of being "chewed up and spat out." The discussion also touches on political and cultural commentary, such as criticism of figures who marginalize immigrants or promote religious rhetoric without empathy. Personal anecdotes highlight struggles with self-care, anxiety, and the emotional toll of being a content creator. Ultimately, the group emphasizes the value of authenticity, self-compassion, and setting boundaries—positioning the podcast as more than content production, but a digital archive of real human experiences. The tone balances humor, anger, and vulnerability, revealing both the challenges and the resilience of creators in a high-stakes, fast-paced industry.

[MUSIC] Hey guys. >> Why don't we have a talk about? >> Yeah, y'all, man, if we have a talk about we just finished recording with the guests, which you'll find out who it was next week. >> And this will also be, yeah, exactly, y'all will find out. >> Y'all will be guard. >> Like, it's a fun one for real. >> Well, unless you already know for some reason, which would make sense. >> Well, because that would make sense, because you like Snapchat. >> Right, so, Snapchat me that, huh? >> Snapchat me that, eh. Um, so it's just kind of like, it's just kind of like all of them. >> Mmm, what is that? >> Grilled cheese burrito with grilled chicken. [MUSIC] >> I think all of these sounds are so like six months ago. It's not crazy. >> I know. >> Yeah, there's networks. >> Um, yeah, let's talk about our order. I got, I got a quesadilla, chicken quesadilla, me looking at graces if I'm doing too much. And then I got the chips, I got the chips and, if you're ever just really feeling like, you want more out of your nachos and cheese, I got the supreme dip. This, the nachos supreme dip, Cheems, Cheems, cheese sour cream. I got it with potato, because I can't have beef right now. And then, um, what did I say? Bean and cheese? Girl, anyway, this is like the first, this is like, I skipped lunch and then it's just like fucked up. So my brain's like rebooting, but yeah. >> Um, I got the new crunch wrap, like the mini one that has the grilled chicken and honey mustard. It's so good. >> Yeah, did you, have you had it yet? It's like you coated. It's literally grilled nuggets in a crunch wrap with honey mustard. >> I love honey mustard. >> Exactly. >> Um, I got the grilled cheese burrito with chicken and then I did get the cantina taco. But yeah, and then I obviously sent them on the light in a um, Baja Zero. >> Right. I got a Baja regular and now you can ask them to make it dirty. So, make a nasty, make a nasty. >> Let me show y'all something. How about let's start with this, okay? How about let's start about, let's talk about this because is it Chrissy Nome's husband? >> Hold on, hold on. >> Bitch, I can't deal with the bitch that got the same brain as me, I should've annoying this fuck. Hold on. >> Caroline, I love us that goofy bitch running around here talking shit about immigrants. They got the nerve to have enchiladas at a motherfucking Mexican restaurant. I hope they piss in your shit. If I was Mexican after that bitch said this issue about about Mexicans, bitch, you could take this enchilada and shove it up your ass, are you fucking kidding me? Donald Trump too. He can't stand foreigners, fucking every foreign bitch that's been Ivanka, Barca, Trenanka, will walk her. None of them bitches is named Brenda Barba, nothing. They doing a fucking what, JD Vance sitting there, they look like Count Dracula now. Well, it's fucking makeup on and he's fucking the Indian bitch. So what the fuck is happening here? You're on standards that don't work, but you're on standards that hate immigrants. That you let being an office who fucking immigrants don't work. How do that work? How do it work when you take it? >> How do it work when you literally try and take away the rights of every single American, literally try and deport American citizens, mind you. And then like try and reduce legislation on the LGBTQIA+ community. And then your husband's literally standing around in a triple Z breastplate. >> And your husband's literally serving big naturals. >> And your husband's serving gandalf big naturals and literally asking girls who have, right, because you know, I'm trying to take me bitch, you can't, because you can't. I'm gonna say it. I'm gonna say it choking on this girl, she's burrito or not bitch. I'm gonna say it. Your husband and the big naturals breastplate talking to other women with breast augmentation and talking about how do you like it, how does it feel? Do you enjoy having boobs that big and also like taking pictures and dresses while wearing the breastplate? Because mind you, gender doesn't have clothes. But one does have to wonder. >> Well, just have to wonder. >> Poetic justice is fuck, genuine, high can you? >> No, because it's just like the way that like personally the America that I'm fighting for that shall hell amount about is the America where you could have just like nobody gives a fuck. >> Because girl, I don't care if you run around the breastplate, I don't care if you want big naturals, I don't give a fuck. Y'all the ones that give a fuck, poetic justice, public. >> Y'all the ones who every time, what's it, the RNC, the Republican, fucking bust down Bundeloo, convention, y'all motherfucking have? >> Why am I wheezing? Like I'm scared, guys, I've been wheezing. Can I say it? >> No, my friends been wheezing and it's been where I've been wheezing. >> And my nose has been whistling. >> Okay. >> I am wheezing. >> You always fucked up. >> Yeah, I'm always fucked up. >> I'm sick of that. >> I'm sick of that. >> I'm sick of that. >> Go ahead. >> At the RNC convention every time, shutting Grindr down and sniffies is up, my brother. Grindr is up, my brother. DL Tinder is up, my brother. >> It's just like, and oppression is up too, which is funny. >> That's what I'm saying. Do you want to keep the oppression up? It's really crazy. Because nobody gives a fuck. Personally? I'm fucking with the big naturals. Go around, go around the other thing with the big naturals. I'm fucking with that. >> That? >> So, girl, you could have done a killer season on Drag Race. >> Yes, mama. >> They're not ready to have that conversation. >> I'm literally like, and her statement being like, just asking for prayers for my family right now. Bitch, the only prayer I'm sending you is that he gets another breastplate. >> Honestly, the only prayer I'm sending to your family's way is that your husband can start being who he is for his pride. >> Thank you. >> Thank you. So, girl, bye. Kristie, no, I'm the only thing I'm sending you is actually my real breastplate. Like, literally, I'm sending you my left and right T.E. >> My left and right T.E. >> That you can suck on. >> Once you wouldn't see. >> Wow. >> Maybe see. >> Uh-oh. >> And it's just like, well, come on. >> Oh. >> It's just like, what about carpet? >> What about? >> What about? >> I'm a good. >> No, I'm literally like, oh. >> No, I'm literally like, honestly, anytime I'm not talking to him, you have my messages. >> Grace. >> I'm like, Grace, be honest. >> They're going to have to meet up. >> Grinchy, is it? >> It's a little. >> Anyway, hey, y'all, y'all know how a, you know how a double filming day be going because all of a sudden we're getting talk of all this, whatever, but we're doing this so that we will have episodes through Coachella Weekend because the girls will be a Coachella working and twerking and twerking out in the desert. >> So, literally twerking, you go call me baby, though. >> Right, so we're just getting our, we're getting our, like, to make sure everyone's taking care of before we go. >> Soon away, like, what is there to report, but like still just like preparing for Coachella? >> Mm-hmm. >> Because now we're, how many days? A week? >> Mm-hmm. >> Okay. How are y'all feeling? Is that over? Are you ready? >> Feeling good. I looked at, when I looked at the weather the other day, the high for, like, Thursday Friday, at least, was like no more than 90 degrees. I was expecting way higher. That's low. >> I mean, that's so hot as fuck, though. >> Yeah, but I guess. >> I'm just scared because, like, the night, the night will be fierce, I think. >> Joe told me that shout out, Joe, Joe told me it was cold as fuck. >> Last year? >> Yeah, at night. >> No, that's, I love you, Joe, so much. I was there last year in the trenches. It was not cold last year. >> But here's the thing is everyone runs different and like, I just fear that I run cold as shit. Let me make sure that's what she said. >> It was two years ago. >> Yeah, she said last year was cold boot, so I'm like, wait. >> Two years ago, it was cold boot. >> But she said all the other years she swears it wasn't cold like that. >> Yeah, 'cause of this one. >> I can't even cold. It's like, 67? >> It's like, 67? >> 66, 65. >> The year Tyler played, it was actually like, I bought a hoodie, I was frozen solid. >> I could do 65. That's the thing is I can't buy no goddamn shit. >> I can't. >> I can't. >> I can't. >> I'm sorry. >> That makes sense. >> That makes sense. So numbers is more than you see. >> I like actually can't buy anything. >> Well, I can't buy anything. >> I said you're getting a new washer and dryer. >> Well, yeah, you guys want to know something that's really interesting about being an influencer, actually, that I, like, not that, this is not me, well, this is a complaint in the sense that I'm not grateful, but just something that's more, it's a dig at the industry, not a dig at what I get to do, but so that was the industry telling me to shut the fuck up and like, I can't. Okay, that was the industry trying to silence me, and I can't, but so when, and if you're freelance, you might know this, you might work with a similar payment schedule, but you're net 30. >> And death. >> In death. >> To all of them. >> Yeah, net 30, net 60, net 90, death, to all of them, to all of them, to all of them. >> So essentially what that means, if you don't know what that means, it means once you complete a job, so say like post a video for TMG studios, they have 30, that's not how that works at all. I'm just using TMG because like they're family and like whatever, but like let's just say out for whatever reason I did a TMG brand deal, which would be like everything. And they, after I've already received the product, I don't get paid until 30 days, sometimes 60 days, sometimes 90 days after the work's already completed. what other job in a movie? America, we're like, imagine if you did a whole work week, and then you just didn't get paid for it until like 30 days later. - Yeah, it's very like freelancer shows. - Yeah, and it's like not the same at all because you know, like my girls clocked in for nine to five corporate life or like whatever kind of life, retail life, mama, I see you been there, done that like the girls deserve to get paid. It just is like a weird thing. I mean, I don't know why it's set up that way. But it's so annoying because literally a brand can like mess up your payment, a brand can literally just forget to pay you. And you're just like, oh, wait, that's like, - It's very like freelancer, like that was the only way when I was working freelance and all of my friends who dance and all those things like that. Obviously is like huge change that needs to happen just in. - Yeah, the freelance and the artist industry because it's crazy, like you'll do things, like you'll dance for a music video and then my friends will be looking up net 60. Oh, where's my check? Next week, next week and it's like, when you really think about, sorry, I'm like talking to my mouth full. When you really think about the money that people need to like live and survive or just the money that they're counting on from like the rate and all the things. Like it does get tough because I've had gigs where girl when I start hitting like net 90, it's just like at that point like, you know, grateful for the money and thankful for it to come, but it's something that I wish like artists really didn't have to deal with because it's a really challenging thing for a job in an industry that like, you know. - And like specifically, you know, like artists and like freelance girlies and stuff. Like that one, so. - 'Cause I know a net 30. - Yeah, because I'm like, it's so fierce and like, you know, people have gone into like credit card debt over it and like just so many like other discrepancies and stuff. And there's no like unionizing, there's no like sag after that like really protects anyone. So anyways, it's a fierce ass game, but with that being said, I just feel like it's an interesting way to make a check clear. I don't know like what the thought process behind that is and maybe someone who like designed the net 30 can like explain it to me in like layman's terms, but I'm definitely sitting here like, what? Oh, that's like crazy. That like, you just like do a bunch of work and then you're just like, okay. - No, oh my god, no, and I was pulling up gas because they had this con tee shirt. That said like fuck the net 30 or something like that. Girl that, yeah, because the girl, the artists are tired. The artists are tired and it really is so silly. I'm gonna find it because I'm like, girl shout out gasp scene, obviously. - Yes, that, the devs. - Well yeah, it's not literally fuck net 30 like actually, so you can just screenshot that, but shout out gasp scene. And yeah, so anyway, yeah. But else is going on, I don't know. - Oh, well, everything is going on right now, actually like in a serious way. - Yeah, everything's going on. Christina's husband is like obviously going on. Jelly Rolls going on right now. - Right, the FIFA song you keep telling me about it. - I'm like so sorry, but I just am like, I'm gonna unload the clip on Jelly Roll and like, I am, I am, am I not allowed to? I don't know, I don't know him. - If you're something about Jelly Roll, that's interesting to me. Can I say this? And this is like, you know, everyone, all religions, all tees, like all whatever, I don't give a fuck. He's like Christian girl, Adam now. - Oh. - But he's been through like some shit in his life. Like his whole thing is like, I think he's been to prison before. I don't want to like misspeak for his like story, but I think he's even like, his music is like all about how he's like struggled with shit in his life. - Totally, totally. - And like his like wife, bunny, and like, you know what I mean? - Love the name, but- - Oh, she's like, I don't know her like personal morals, but like, I'll just say from like aesthetic vibe, or like her vibe, when I've like seen her talking stuff, and I think she also used to be like a adult performer. She's everything. - Love. - She's, she's actually like, yes. - Whoa. - She's the bunny, bunny. - Her writer, like, deadass, his writer, die. - Wait, whoa. - Ms. Bunnylicious. - Right. - Yeah. - Back to Jelly Roll. So he like, his audience is all about like, you know, I just think it's interesting for someone to have, oh, that's what he looks like. - Oh, period. - Yeah. Oh yeah, now he's on his jelly roll shit. So here's the thing that's not my jelly roll shit. - Just on my jelly roll shit. - Here's the thing. - Uh-oh. - Uh-oh. - Uh-oh. - That's jelly roll. - Also, I do want to say out loud, I need a text vanilla about this, but I'm like, do you see her tattoo removal TikTok? She's getting some tattoos removed. I have been meaning to text her because I'm not that, I'm sorry, just seeing his tattoos maybe think about that, not that he needs to see his tattoos removed, of course. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But, you know, I want to get one of my tattoos removed, look like I've been thinking about it. And I'm just like, guys. - All I know is that I'm pretty much like the DITC. - I know. Well, she was saying in her TikTok that, 'cause she's getting the one on her neck removed. And she said that one was like fine. But then I think she also was getting one on her back removed. And that one was like bitch ow. But she was saying something about the one on her neck being chiller because it's so thin. Like it's like a really thin like line work script moment. - And I'm just like that. - No, I, the one tattooed. - But it was fast, even she said like, it was fierce, but it was like quick. Like getting lazy, but this would be not, this would be long back. Or like, does Post Malone still have his always tired? - Sure. - Really? - I'm sure. - Okay, big post. Papa post now. - But anyway, sorry. So jelly roll and then like, - Okay, so like here's the thing. - I just think like, if you've like experienced to any degree, like faults in like the systems that be. - What? - Coming to the Greek theater. - Oh yeah. - Yes. - Okay, I think it's like very interesting to have like any other opinion than like empathy when it comes to like issues, when it comes to like human rights issues, and for him to do this like, especially, you know what's so interesting too, 'cause I have like Christian friends who are very like, like honestly, like you know, they're on their like kindness, like you know, practicing what they preach shit. - Totally. - And I think like, I think it was the Grammys. Yeah, it was the Grammys. 'Cause that's where they did the Aussie Osborne. - Yeah, the tribute. - Okay. - They literally asked him, like someone like asked him about what he thinks about like, I said like what's going on in the world and stuff. And he did ask that he was like, I mean, I don't have anything to say about that. What I do have to say is like God healed me and like he did all this stuff for me. And it's just like, I mean like what do I have to say with that like look to God, look to Jesus, like he's the one who's gonna like heal and save you. And I'm like, for you to like, be accepting or not have a comment on a system that's like, it's, I mean, that's like the easiest answer. - Yeah, like the institutions. - The institutions that be and that the institutions that you have who, you know, you've been a part of. You know what it's like to like the American prison system all this stuff. And for you to like go through this very, you know, this experience that like not, that I feel like creates so much more empathy. And then for him to like, you know what I mean? - Yeah, you would think, I guess. - No, I get what you mean when it's like you've experienced. - Yeah. And then you like preach all this shit in your, yeah, your music at 16. - Mm-hmm. - Oh my God, and he was charged as an adult. - Yeah, I don't know the details, but. - Yeah. - Oh, that's like. - No, like that's what I mean. He's gone through like some deep shit. And like he literally has like told everyone like you deserve second chances. Everyone deserves second chances. Like you could turn your life around and all this stuff and like I feel like he holds so much empathy. But now that he's really like, I feel like originally I mean, he's probably always been Christian girl at him, but like it's been so much more aggressive now. Like now I feel like he's just full blown like, you know. Like now he was like, like he's just doing the most. And I'm like for you to then even have the stance considering the fact that like Jesus was a refugee to literally be like, I mean like turn to God, turn to God. It's like disturbs me. And so anyways with his new FIFA song that's literally dog shit, it's just like why are you bringing like chain breaking and all this stuff into it when it's just like, no, like chain breaking. - Well like, like I just, I don't know. I think people like that genuinely confuse the fuck out of me because it's like how are you about to like preach all this shit. And then genuinely you have such a huge opportunity to like help and like advocate for people. Like you're so quick to advocate for people who are like, you know, like have like drug addiction or have like been through like the prison system. But then like people American citizens like mind you who are literally getting kidnapped by ice. Like you can't even say like it's fucking wrong. To me, literally I'm just like all now because you're like Christian girl at him is like so fucking weird. Like he is just a weird, he's weird to me. - I know like just found out about Jolly Rool like 10 minutes ago actually. - I don't know. - So. - I don't know, it's kind of a disappointment because I feel like before he used to be someone who's like, I'm not like everyone else and like I'm different and like that's what I embrace and like all this stuff. And I know what it's like to be other. And I'm like, how can you experience all of that? Like as someone who has like a very similar experience of like being other. [BLANK_AUDIO] What do you know what I mean? And then hold no empathy is beyond. But anyways, your FIFA songs actually dog shit, bro. - And just needing to know how you get elected to do the FIFA song. - Also, where's FIFA? - That smells like Trump all over it. - Well, actually, is there a, I don't know. I also, I didn't know, I didn't know this guy's teeth, so I didn't even know it was FIFA cup teas. I mean, as we talked about the last FIFA buzzdown was Shakira, which makes sense within the context of she Shakira. - No, literally La Roche, the world. - The world, we're from the world as well, you see? Yeah, no literally Googling who chooses the FIFA song. Also, can I also say that I want to stop saying like, - I'm going to try. - It's so hard. - Okay, can I say something so hard to be goth in the summer? - Yeah, shut up for us, children. Like a man. - I will say this. Everyone who's like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like. - Yes, I'll be fucking asleep. I say like a lot, I'm sorry. - Oh, you're saying like a comment or something? Or what do you, who says? - I mean, I feel like that's a pretty common comment that I get in the case. - Well, I'm sure I get it too. - Oh. - I can only imagine, so. - I just will say to that, I mean, I don't think, yeah, I mean, I don't think that has to do. - I don't think there's anything like wrong or offensive about saying like, obviously, but it's only because I just got enough brain again to start like editing. There it is. And it's just to start editing old vlogs that I have. And holy shit. Listening, learning, watching. - Yeah. - I genuinely say like every thirds. And then when we got humbled, can we talk about this on main? - At the award sure. - Okay. - And that clip, okay, well, the clip was crazy. That clip was crazy. Full stop, full stop, full stop. - But then I listened to the vlogs and I was like, oh, I sound like that anyway. So it's just like, I feel, there it is again. I feel like, which that like makes sense. I feel like I could cut half of them. - Yeah. - I could cut it in half. - I mean, I could cut half of them, but then at the same time, will I reach flow state in the same way? - Hey, you don't have to. - Yeah. - I'm not saying you. - No, I understand the person. - I don't even hear like when people say, yeah. - That's what I'm saying, like, who? - Yeah. - Okay, I mean, yeah, I know what. But I just, who put that prison in your mind? - I just personally hear myself back on vlogs and I would love to, you see how I'm trying to do it and I start talking slower. I would love to remove filler words. And also, the realty is, I was watching TikToks about it, which I need to get off TikTok too, because girl, like, is smooth in there. There's one marvel in there literally. And like, can be replaced so easily by other words. I can't think of them right now, which is why I say like, but I saw this TikTok where this lady was talking about the three main uses for the word like and what the replacements would be. And honestly, a part of me is like, oh, there it is again. A part of me feels that I'm using like as almost a word to be half-assed, if that makes sense. Because it will be like that, for example. I'm like, oh, there it is again. But the example of being like, oh, I'm like, instead of just being like, oh my God. Saying saying, I be like, oh my God. That's what I mean. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Let me find it. Let me find it. Let me find it. I'm a Californian. Let me find it. The example of saying, I be like instead of being, instead of saying, there it is. I be like, I could have just said, I say that. Or I be like, I just feel that saying like, makes it sometimes makes what I'm trying to say less. It's almost like I'm taking less accountability of what I'm saying. Here's for me, for me. For you, for me when I hear it. For me, Paige, when people say that shit, I'm like, your white supremacist, bro. Oh, you. What? I mean, the personal conviction, the personal conviction of wanting to change your, like, dialect and the way you talk. I feel like is fine. Okay. When someone tells me that I sound stupid or dumb because I say like, I just don't think that's fucking true. I period. I think that you can make a point talking how or the fuck you want. And that's your truth. That's the way you can talk. And yeah, okay, maybe something could come across more eloquently if you use bigger words and like less filler words and stuff. And I mean, yeah, if it's not a personal conviction, bro, you know, I just want to see. Yeah, I want to see something. I support you 100%. But I feel as though when people say, oh, you use this word too much or, oh my god, why are you fucking talk like that or whatever? Well, yeah, I just feel as though what? Like, I don't know. I just think I'm just thinking about Keelan used to have this writer on his phone. That was like five years old and it said don't say like. Oh, yeah. And that's me right now. No, that's true. I just want to see, I personally just want, well, I will say mainly inspired by the fact that I'm editing myself talk again. And I feel that I say like in a way that I'm like, girl, so down. That's the realty is sometimes I'm, the like is almost to keep the speed of what I'm trying to say, which is fine, which to your point flow state. But it's trying to keep the speed of what I'm trying to say and stuff, just slowing down and being like bitch, what are you trying to say? Like I, I was editing this clip last night. Within five seconds, I said like mind you in five different ways. So wake that up. But I said it five times in a row. And I only noticed because I was going to see it didn't need to like right there. Because I was going to try not to say like, actually makes me like, I can't even see it. I'm like, we were. It's a process, it's a process, it's a process. But I told myself, I'm gonna edit like out of this clip, I say it a lot. Oh, and then when it genuinely sounded like, I was gagged. That's all. And I just like a challenge. I think I'm so stressed out right now that I'm looking for things to control. And that feels like something to control. Running a half marathon. That's in like five months, I need relief like right now. No, I understand. I feel like, yeah, out of perspective. I need something to have fun with. I think it's a good thing, but when someone, or we'll see. Yeah. I would never comment on somebody else's binocular to that point. But I guess that's what I mean. It's just, I think people try and like whip their dick out and they're like, oh, I can do this. So therefore, the language police, yeah. The language police, it's the crime zone. The language police and all this stuff or be like, you know, talk about how people sound from the south or like rapper sound and like all this stuff and how people talk and they're dialect and everything. Shut the fuck up, okay? Well, and as a Californian, and when I was on my deep dive of saying like, a lot of divas in there who were Californians saying, I can't say like, it's like really hard. A lot of Californian divas being like, it is, I mean, like is universal obviously, but specifically in Californian dialect, guys. Shit, just like, you know what I'm saying? When you live in California, everything like, okay, it's just like that, I like that, like this, like that, like I don't know. I'm gonna give it a shot though. I just need something new and stimulating. I feel like we've been hashtag drowning. Do you feel that way? (laughing) I do feel that way. Yeah, man, it's one of them seasons. It's one of them seasons. I think every April I feel this way for the past like three years. I just, every Coachella season, I always feel this way and this is the one year that I just, it's rocking my boat at the same time though. While it's rocking my boat, I was already expecting it to rock my boat. So it was kind of like, you know, the boat rocking, I'm just kind of like this on it. Yeah. 'Cause I was expecting it. I mean, got me on that. Yeah, I mean, I think it's one of those things where at the end of the day, all I can do is just rock with it, throw some gratitude on there. Totally. And yeah, and I feel like invest back into myself at the end of the day because I think, you know, when you're working hard and you're putting a lot into like other projects and like other things and people needing shit from you and vice versa. I think like at the end of the day, the only thing that's gonna provide any peace or whatever the case may be is giving myself the treasures of the world. Not in a consumerism sense or, you know, the treasures of the world can be found in your favorite book series or, you know, it could be found anywhere, go, you know, taking yourself to the beach, walking to your favorite, walking in your favorite part of town. I remember my therapist, one of my, I was CBT, right? My CBT therapist, she sent me a list of things that I could do to like provide mindfulness for myself and just stay in like a positive like, mind flow, I guess. But more so, it was just things that were free. It was like 50 things that are free that you can- do to like provide like mindfulness throughout your day. And I remember one was like roll the windows down and drive through your favorite part of town. Um listen to your favorite album like front to back. Just very intentional things like a list of things that you could do. And um it's just something I think about often but yeah need that. I mean I also feel I mean I guess this is my first year kind of in the thick. So I feel like for me, Loki just looked up and all of a sudden the only reason I noticed I was so stressed out is because the last like three days every morning when I wake up I'm like my cord is all is so high. Yeah. Already which is not usually my judge like you know I wake up I listen to my crooner music, my chas and it's a key but late the specifically last few days I feel like I wake up and I'm already anxious which is so weird. And also not to be like fucking behind the curtain. I don't know if we can I don't know how much of this I can say but I do feel as somebody doing more like you know just like brand stuff now that we do this and everything. If I could talk to brands personally I would tell you guys that I would consider and this is just me as a new as a fresh young sprout in the game so I'm literally seeing everything for the first time. I would consider maybe adding more more human not human but not even trust but I think what I'm looking for is I will say just doing stuff you know as we gear up for Coachella for the pod and just kind of doing all these things and having the opportunity and feeling so grateful to and so lucky to be doing these things and even be going to Coachella of course all the things that surround it all the things we just do in our day to day just like you know doing things. I just feel like the main thing that pops out to me about brand work is there's an impatience that almost feels not realistic to how humans work. Do you know what I mean? Well you know what I mean because you literally do it forever but that's what I kind of mean about being the content machine and specifically the industry of like social media and marketing and this is like the gripe that a lot of creators and people freelance people oh my god I mean talk about being a freelance graphic designer I had that era and totally and the thing that the number one comment that I would get the most was can you just give it a little more what's a little more what does that mean you know what I mean um and then the turnaround also being same day so I think the same with content creation like in a brand's mind they're very much look much they're very much so looking for a product and so when they're like okay we've referenced this from their page not knowing the behind the scenes of like how we got xyz on our page and they're like okay make this video whatever they have an idea in our mind we have an idea in our mind we try and meet in the middle with like a creative concept whatever but when it comes to the final product and the urgency it's the urgency that be getting me and and that's the thing with this job where I feel like before I used to really struggle with that and that's when I had to like let go of the wheel and instead of fighting back just going with the flow because I think for me at least what ends up making me a loose time be like get into my head and start really like spiraling like bad is when I wear an ask for a product I send the product and they're like fuck no heart you know what I know literally oh how fucking no heart literally fuck no red heart like this is not at all what we're looking for right and this is for the a if you try to get into some you know some stuff like this yeah this is words from the wizard like and so you go back to the drawing board and you're like okay scrap I thought you wanted this you actually want this we're a lot of people mess up and I feel like where I used to mess up was then I would go in deeper harder into detail triple the work whatever skillback simplify now the video is like boom boom smash bam yeah and I feel like as soon as you start doing that we were like okay if this is fuck no red heart like it's zoom out and then like simplify and like whatever and before I used to be like what why are they seeking it like this and uh brand safety and why did you and I you know sometimes I have those feelings and I mean like I think we've been mad fortunate to have really good relationship with like yeah you know the same reoccurring brands like you know and people I've been working with the same probably like six seven brands like you know every year and stuff that like deadass keep have kept before the pod like kept sob and I afloat for like many years and stuff but yeah there's always like some one off like girl after this your cut asked brand but I think that also goes back to the fact that like maybe they don't necessarily know what they're looking for but I think when there's like that middleman that's the real problem is like there's there they pitch you know they come up with this pitch deck and they like hire these creators to do this one thing and then they go to the brand and the brand's like are you fucking hot like they're literally like corporate like oh gee fucking like martin scores as he asked niggas like you know the godfather asked niggas like like martin as fuck like very traditional very like bitch way and so in their minds are like you know whatever and it's just a really big gap in the creator economy but the biggest one is yeah this job's 24/7 like well because the urgency to I think that's the part of my anxiety is trying to sell obviously we've been again like very fortunate to be like lucky around this time and everything and I'm so grateful to have you and I'm extra grateful to have sad because I'm like I'm about you a penthouse one day okay just just no one understand that because god damn I feel crazy I can't even imagine how you feel and I mean that so sincerely but I think it's just unlike anything I've ever done because even when I was doing freelance photography and the girls be like yeah I can you have 250 selects by tomorrow I'd be like fuck no they'd be like that would make sense because you're one person the whole don't you know like obviously when I worked specific jobs they were like actually fuck now and I was like okay period like let me like bust it down but I think it is this is this these situations have just been so interesting because the urgency is so it's urgent it's I need it now every single person says I need it right now and if they send you the fuck no no heart they're like do it again now and I'm like oh I'm like having lunch with my grandma so I can't you know what I mean and maybe like we don't care yeah so I think as somebody who's just coming in kind of like noon like fresh again I am so grateful to have you guys because if this was just me I would have been like fuck no back white heart like literally but like it is just it is gagging I can feel it in my cortisol of feeling like I always have something that I'm like oh I somebody's waiting for me for something like somebody's waiting yeah and it is like you know at the end of the day I'm super grateful because we always have fun and again that comes very much down to being able to do this with you and to be able to do so so I have like it's always fun enough and you always ground me enough to where I feel fine yeah but you know that's my latest cortisol report as I'm like as I get used to and start to kind of like navigate this new you know this is just like new industry and these new kind of like opportunities opportunities opportunities and things I feel like that's the one thing that like I mean it's you know capitalism as a whole like it fucking kills but I'm just like hey brands if you're watching and you want to like actually like I'll send you back like a fucking bouquet of like edible arrangements type shit the girls might need a little time the girls you know have days where they you know need to go do things and see things and and that and that's what I mean about you know it's so funny my friend Kenzie actually taught me this trick and I was telling Sav about it and I'm like it's the one it's the greatest advice I've ever got about social media because I feel like very similarly first coming in that's exactly how I felt I know without you guys I literally would have been like three two one love you but like literally love you bros because it also will say like I'm sorry not to cut you off but just to finish the thought I was having before about like the photography shit and like graphic design like for some reason there's still this urgency of course it runs itself to capitalism there are recent all these things but there's still an urgency but it's different I don't know if you feel like that but it's different where photography for example I feel like that's why my idea kind of goes to like humility for some reason because before it would be like yes I need these things by end of the week but if I was really you know oh I'm sorry I have to go out of town for a second and I I'll have it in a day or two or oh I'm sorry I'm just like really stressed out with other projects like give me like two more days the girls be like fuck yeah because it'll just be me and deep yeah the girls the girls the big corpus yeah be like oh fuck no yeah the things are things are timely and everything's based around the quarter right so if they're spending their quarterly budget on this like one thing and it's due x week and you know she's going live this week they their thing is like fuck no red heart because they're dead ass like baby this is our like quarterly budget right here so it's just like now you're working on our dime type shit which I feel like what I was kind of like saying earlier was my friend Kenzie I remember I had this creative concept do and concepts always used to stress me out because I'd be like fuck what the fuck am I gonna fucking what like and I like and I do this Crash out before even doing it and I remember sending it and it was like paragraphs and paragraphs long And she was like, what are you doing? And I was like, I'm writing a concept. She was like, no boom boom boom boom boom boom like this and I was like Genius, I was like, I'm like zoomed in and then I remember we were taking photos and I was like, okay I'm so maybe we could and then if and she's like stop go here boom boom boom boom boom boom and like don't you know, don't do the zoom in don't like whatever Yeah, if you don't like your smile, we take the photos or if the pose was weird, whatever, but like Just do it quick so then and like don't overthink it don't like do too much like Because then more than likely and that's the craziest fuck us crazy part about social media is like The less you do it seems like the video that took you like no time to make is like Yes, baby, it's very it in the video where you literally were bent over backwards like upside down in a split handstand like like you know Climbing shit like whatever. They're like what yeah, why would you do that? No, I was talking to my therapist about that Boots you because I fear I'm also coming in like and you know everything you know, you learn you grow again Like I genuinely can't give you all my praises enough because like these bitches be holding me down like I'm like And they're like boom boom boom relax period love that but I was talking my therapist because you know greater conversation but Girl that perfection is people please or combo be kicking my ass because then I'm like I need to do the best possible work And I'm sorry that it's gonna take me two hours and you said that it needs to take me 20 minutes like yeah I'm serving that or when the girls are like like I'm like I'm sorry I just I didn't know I had to do this today So I like I made dinner reservations with my grandma and they're like you dumbed stupid ass bitch canceling your grandma I'm like, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean that like that's my shows where I'm like the people pleaser in this industry Holy fuck and then on top of that the perfectionism of I Mean y'all know me like I've been moving from sometimes I need to move from appear I've been moving from down here. So I genuinely Curk and you and Lee I'm like Doing too much like I'm doing too much and I'm stressing myself out and I'm doing too much and on top of that I feel about that I'm doing too much Well, but that's the thing. I mean like I dude. I mean I would say like this the past maybe like End of last year start of like and this year on. I definitely hit a stride wrote dude when I tell you in my early fucking days like like early days would save She would have to literally chase me like this was that ass like because there's some There's just genuinely some creators who will like yeah, we all get ghosts, bro Three month well like but that's the thing. I mean like every person's different like some people are you know, hey You're but it's just like at the end of the day Your reputation proceeds you you can be the client who's like oh, man like fuck. Okay. I'm still not gonna cancel my grandma You're gonna get your shit mad late whatever. Okay, but that's your ass on the line because it's like fuck bro Like a you're putting your team in a bad position. You're putting you in a bad position Your reputation proceeds you that agency's gonna be like damn, bro Dom could not get her shit in in time mind you just like deaths to capitalism death to capitalism at the same time The capitalism capitalism and then I think like that's you know, that's the mental load when people say like The part of like quote influencing or content creation or like whatever. That's like the difficult part is like you know I've worked I used to work at a gas station. I used to work retail literally boot see motherfucking bellows like I've been in the trenches of war before in terms of like you know All that comes with that and I think the mental and I really didn't have like a great breakthrough because it's different for everyone But I feel like I didn't have a great breakthrough until like End of last year and like start of this year where I'm like, okay This is my workflow. This is like what it's gonna take. This is what it's gonna do and like you know I've been like okay, maybe I need to have help. Maybe I need to like whatever, but I think That's the part that's really hard is you have to be on your phone Like and that's the part that sucks so bad is you can't like It's timely like if someone's like a we're launching this xyz Elementop bitch you better check the gmail you better check the fucking text messages and it sucks You know and people are like if there was on their phone like they're never and it's just like bro at the same time though That's the thing that sucks and it's like really hard to have boundaries in this job And that's why you have to decide your boundaries like I have some friends who are like okay I made x amount this month. I'm saying no to everything else. I You know and I'm only accepting deals that are like x, y and z Or whatever big papa yeah, or like big papa and then some people are like okay I'm going to do this is this no to this and whatever and I think like the more you decide what's important to you and like what Really speaks to you is when you can start to like I think the pod though Really allows us more importantly to be ourselves As much as humanly possible 100 p and also I would like to say to that advice you that you're just saying or just that thing that you're saying like I that applies to everything bro Yeah, cuz I'm like bro the chomp of When I was doing photography full-time bitch I literally used to be shooting bitch if you need a camera like I literally will be there and it gets to a point to where you're actually Working so much that We at the same time. Yes. What's Jewish? Well, I have there's a puppy that needs food. Oh That I'm not in charge of this Yeah, I was just gonna say that what you're saying though Definitely applies to everything because when I was freelancing Genuinely would work so much that it was like Do I need to shoot these random pictures of like a basketball? No was I taking them because I feel like his artist and his freelancers especially you always think you can do everything do everything do everything do everything do everything It's like and that's what I'm saying and also to it's like things change, you know like early days in my career. There's There are kind of now, baby, but just know if you were there early days with me mama There's some shit. I said yes to you out of just like we go and do it for gang gang I'll be outside of my gang gang like do you gang bang because genuinely and there's and there's you know That's how you learn and that's how you grow and yeah, I think that's one of the reasons again why I wanted to you know When we came up with the idea for the podcast and why I was like really excited about it because and I always said this and it's so true I I literally told my I was like if this podcast is nothing less to be a place where we can show up as ourselves 100 and 10% and that has been able to like remain true Throughout you know all the branch it and like whatever and like all the extra shit that comes in the raw raw and gaga And like you know, it's so nice that like Career wise and like money wise like we can if there's like a You know we can say notice something that we don't align with like Do some AI like do literally the water fruit love Island like yeah, I mean we don't have to be like okay We'll do that because we're just like no fuck no red heart. You know what I mean? So it's just like I do think that is the only thing that is the is a golden cage there. No I don't know what I'm trying to say The cage the bird cage the golden handcuffs that we have of just like you know It's it is a sweet deal in so many ways and like wouldn't trade it for the world Yeah, but there are these things. I mean the end and it's so new like You know before if you were to do marketing Social media wasn't a part of that now if you're going into marketing It's like bitch you baby you better know social media and a lot of things are like relying upon it And it's a big part of our world in society That's so crazy. Yeah, and it is fucking crazy and I think though. There's just like not a lot of things that like there's not a lot of protection for creators at times and like it can get very like exploitative and And there's no brand transparency like even how people get paid dude like I mean there's some things that people will do will like they'll offer you You know, hey, oh my gosh. Do you want a model for a brand even you know what I mean like model and like takes and pictures and We'll pay you $10,000 and you're like Hell what the fuck? $10,000 Holy fucking shit and then they put you on a billboard. They own your likeness. They have usage They own those photos for the rest of your life. You never get to do anything with them. Whatever they own them And then that brand get like yeah, and then that brand gets fucking canceled for like fucking whatever they get canceled for You're going down with that ship like and the likeness of it all is like dude. That's so scary It's fierce and like if you know Sav is like our biggest fucking advocate in the whole entire world like oh my god I we we genuinely wouldn't have or do anything without her and like our whole entire team bro genuinely Because I'm like there's fucking sharks out there bro who will who will literally take your shit upside down literally shake your pockets upside down At Spock and you'll think you're getting the sweetest yell in the world when genuinely you're like, bro This is the wonka factor like Pinocchio like Pinocchio is fun like Pinocchio. Yeah, so anyways without being said I think that it is fierce like the stress is fierce and I think managing yeah, shug managing hashtag Relaxing it's giving it's giving like work hard Play hard as fun. Yeah, it's giving new kind of work 100% giving new kind of work. How does it settle in my body? What is the ins and outs and the intricacies? I'm a little shook and I just wish that there was Maybe more grace maybe just more understanding it's I mean, it's the same little asking I'll say about it is It's the same. I don't think that this is like a specific experience to just like creating and doing these things But it's the same thing as all the things It's the same thing is when you're a fucking videographer and you have someone who'll be like Yeah, dude, can you do this for me? Can you fucking shoot this on six cameras and I need it by tomorrow and you're like if you knew Maybe what it took to shoot on six cameras and not even by tomorrow I'd only have the footage on my hard drive. I wouldn't even get it into fucking premiere Then you wouldn't start it like that you see or when genuinely people and all my photographers out there Don't let them ever do this to you and people would be like can you just send me the Ross and I'm like, oh You think that that's what this looks like the second I took the picture like you think like it's literally Like that fucking spark that 3D sparkle that water Molina. That's on the picture. You thought she was like there at the shoot No guys, you know, and that's when you have to hit him with the fuck no red heart because if I sent you the Ross You would come hit me in the face. He was on me. So it's like that shows with any job where it's like, you know The death of the capitalism of like a how about we all take a deep breath and Think about our fellow man, you know what I'm saying and think about Relaxing and yeah, I'm just learning. Yeah. I'm just learning and I'm just like whoa Yeah, it's who's this fucking that's why different kind of anxiety especially yeah, and that's why I just like very early on had to figure out like Okay, if the industry's not changing how am I then gonna protect myself that's like really the thing that you and you have to decide like Okay, if some if something's constantly gonna be like taking my energy taking my time like I have to be like hands on and like this and that Then what are you doing to like fill your own cut back up because at the end of the day if you want to like stay in the game You have to find a way to make this sustainable for you. Yeah, cuz it's like yes You could fucking white knuckle grip this shit for a cup of fucking three-year faux year But by the end of that shit if you didn't like Emma Chamberlain your shit and literally like also create a coffee company and like Do some shit where you can really disappear and like yeah, the what's on bus sound like Yeah, you know what I mean like or you know, yeah, or like you'll see some artist like in music literally make like Seven albums you never hear from them again. Yes, or like Zendaya. She's doing five movies this year and she said be happy and be thankful Bitch because you won't be hearing her seeing from me Goodbye girl if I've been famous since I was fucking 13 I would be like the fact that y'all can even see me and this isn't a stunt double in some Anna went to our glasses Yeah, and like I'm so healthy and alive, but yeah, and that's what I mean It's just like the any industry, you know any industry will literally try and chew you up spit you out And your job to literally hold the fucking teeth open. Yeah, yeah, hold them jaws back and be like you ain't about to chew me up You ain't about to do nothing and so it's like Yeah, no, it really and that's why I'm like bitch. Yes. I'm gonna buy myself a Nespresso machine and like Cause mind you you're doing of what you're doing like double it because like for the podcast. I'll do anything for the pot Oh, hell it for the pod bitch if somebody come through and they're like, hey, we trying to hook it up so that y'all can do xyz for the name like that Bitch, I look bitch up by tomorrow. Okay. Yeah, by today. Oh, okay. I already canceled the plans like don't even well Gen you like genuinely But um, yeah, I'm some like individual shit. I'm like well, it's hard. Well, well, that's what I'm saying And I'm like that's the the amazing part and like the nice thing about not having to rely upon that because it's like you know Talk about whenever you want There's separation of church and state, but I'm like yeah, yeah, I'm keeping the separation of church and state Yeah, it's like when you sign up for like that hamps through real shit that I was doing it's it's fucking gnarly It's like put me on the wheel like the girl like babysitting me like you know what I mean. I'm just oh yeah, and we're like so lucky that like I mean, we don't view this as content. We view this as our digital archive that will live like when they I don't want It's like about it living see? No, right. I'm like when our shit like literally you know when like I like when the shit that happened to the dinosaurs happen here. They find like that cast that it's literally like hey y'all And they find like one Google Chrome tablet and we're like bro fuck it. Yeah, no, and they find that and like a minion Yeah, just like this is this is the The Mario movie the Mario movie I have to watch it. Oh, it's gonna be awesome. I saw did you see the trailer for you for yeah, no Okay, it's all the new trailer for you for you and tell me why the comments were like looks fucking horrible. I'll be watching Like they're all like looks like garbage. So excited. I was like wait. Oh in the direction. Did you see it? No, I'm trying to go and blind Really, I will say and it's shade to the it's shade. They're shade to be thrown But I will say just as a biblical text of just you for you the mp4 I will say that I do like that they're a sub do you want to know nothing at all? Which is okay. Go ahead. Yeah, I appreciate it. I don't know anything, but it's okay I was just gonna say like the setup of where it is Okay, no like timing. Oh Wait, what are you asking if I want I would know but you can it's okay It's okay. I then what I'll say is I think that the way that they're framing you'll see when you watch the trailer I think that the way that they're framing the new season I'm glad that they went this route because it leads to a lot more expansiveness Then I think other routes that they could have taken like I do think Essentially they can kind of just do whatever. I mean obviously they have ties to the character and like hopefully fucking character I don't even know about this point what they're doing, but I do I can't say that okay I could understand how this breathes into something else by the choices that they're making with this season Am I gonna watch it? I don't know I probably it's always gorgeous gorgeous gowns Yeah, I was all wanted just cuz it's like you know the end of an era anything See anything Sam makes after this like fuck no red heart I didn't watch the idol I never watched that. I'm like oh hell this was enough for me to see to know I just kind of like Okay, I just saved. Okay, right. Takeable already. I know he's just So I mean I will Mate like literally may God have mercy. Whatever. I mean listen while I watch it the girls gonna go in there They go like they ask off. Okay, the it's gonna be shot beautifully. I'm sure I will say though And I came to you for you late because I watched the first season when the second season came out The second season. Yeah again to my cortisol Y'all know I don't watch no sad shit. No nothing because baby It's already like the body already keeping score of like bitch I'm already anxious as fuck the second season used to have me like Insane as fuck. I just can't with the or not I can't because I've done it. I've done it with Marty's cream I've done it with uncut gems, but the oh It's getting scarier. It's get old fuck like I just can especially with the TV show when it's Every week for six weeks. I'm like can't wait to tune in and he's just like the first season didn't have that really the first season Which is gorgeous gorgeous gowns like there was drama, but it was come get your baddies chain It wasn't is this bitch gonna live you know what I'm saying? Girl the second season I was watching that with Keelan and After every after every episode we were like It's so interesting - I mean cuz yeah, they and they did the covid special Oh in between special Yeah, I think for me. It's just giving like I don't know. I mean, I'm so there's so the documentary that will come out about the making of the show because Needing to know I mean if it ever comes out one day like on some independent shit because What they could have had well with the endy expired yeah, yeah, it's like what we could have had versus like, you know What we got I don't know, but I you know I'll be tuning in because the girls have been tuned in and like while I'm speaking of the girls Barbie waking it up Barbie waking up with the bus down fucking tumblr movie guys with my oh Do you see what I sent you today? On an Instagram. Oh, you know, honestly, let's talk about deleting Instagram when Instagram's your most used because If I could just get over the the the it's genuinely at this point of fucking what is that called the baby suck on a pacifier Kicks, bro, look at this shit. Oh Kicks give me this Come on, look sir. This is the movie we're referring to which mind you when everyone's talking about like O2L All this shit baby. This is where I was baby. This is the concept of filming this with devon Bo stick bitch. I ought to whoop your and not to be greedy and not to be so greedy but if the main girl was black, girl, and let me tell you, I would have actually probably felt the same way that I felt when the little mermaid came out. Mama, when I literally got to see, like not to be selfish and greedy, but when I literally got to see like, A, that's like literally fucking me as a merm type shit. I would actually, it would be, what movie is that? It would be perfect. I mean, this was like in the indie era. Love, obviously love Barbie. So no, it's no shade at all. Actually, this movie's about to set it the fuck off, but it's just so specific and so sickening that I want it to literally be like, wait, why can't I play in the main character though? 'Cause like, we- - This movie was that asked about. If I, I mean, I was just stuck in Arizona, but like, yeah, I wanted to escape to LA, especially when like the back yard, back yard shows. I mean, that's when like I finally was like old enough to like start going to like back yard shows and like Phoenix and stuff and like get into like more like, I mean, I was like on that indie ship, but like, parasocial via like YouTube, you know what I mean? And like, keep being like tracks and stuff and like, burger records, we could have had it, but y'all, I know this movie about to literally be about like. - This movie about a week. Well, congratulations guys. Hey, congratulations, congratulations. That's all I can say because I'm genuinely, I'm a go see it. And if y'all are offering it in VR, let me know. How about that? - With Devon Boseg. - With Devon. - With Devon Boseg, baby. It's sick. - That's literally like my old fucking Gigi. That's my OG, like King Bitch, you woke it up. In a band, two out of whoop y'all ass. (laughs) Out of whoop. I oughta whoop y'all ass. - That's like your sister. - Bitch, that's you gay shit. - I can't. I can't, this plays about us. (screams) (screams) Is this way about us? Is this way about, honestly? A theater is April 17th? - Oh, April's going off because mind you, you me and Tuscany. Let me, hold on. Guys, hold on. Can I talk to you? Can I talk to you really quickly? Here's what I'm asking for from everyone. I don't know if this will be out in time for this, but I'll read down that Instagram and post it create mode. I don't give a fuck. If you just need to book it on AMC and not go, actually, hold on, hold on. 'Cause I don't know if that's gonna work for the numbers. What I'm trying to say is this. When was the last time? Don't answer me because you know I don't know. When was the last time that a fucking rom-com was in AMC? Thank you. Stop, don't answer that. - Well, they're like, you know, the Sydney Sweeney shit. - Okay, girl anyway. I'm talking rom-com. I'm talking, do you guys know the premise of the movie? - Nice, brother. - Do you? - Okay, well, if y'all don't know. I'm talking bitch show up to Italy. Oh, no, they think I'm his wife. I guess I'ma marry him, find shit in the fucking garden. Rom-com. Now, do I think it's gonna be great? I don't expect it to be. - Well, with the little mermaid, yes. - With the little mermaid fucking like King Edwin. Like, I don't remember what his name was, but my auntie is, here's what I'm asking for. I'm calling it on the community, actually, like genuinely. I've been saying since the, like genuinely, probably, what I probably said at the first or second episode, where the fuck are the rom-coms? Where the fuck is the hope core? Wait, everybody, like, Gen Z, don't date. Gen Z, don't have set, where the fuck are the rom-coms? Bitch, if I was, if I was 22 watching fucking 10 things I hate about you, I would have been at the club like, hey, oh, what, oh, okay, that's what I thought. Okay, when there is a rom-com in the theater, we must support 'cause unfortunately art, as to our conversation, art and capitalism, they're best friends, or it's more like, capitalism has art in like a weird show, cold and like whatever you know what I'm saying. When they come out with a rom-com that's called you, me, and Tuscany, this bitch accidentally getting married 'cause nobody asked her where she came from, if she knew him, nothing, type shit, type, this looks horrible, I'll be their type shit, we need to go. We need to go, we need to be sat, scan your AMC, don't watch it, I don't give a fuck, we should watch it. But genuinely, we need to wake that up because if we show them, if we show them up there, wherever, probably right here, maybe down there, I don't know. If we show them the industry, that we fuck with the rom-com, they're gonna put more money behind it. But whoever at, who is it by Amazon Prime? Who is it by? Well, it's obviously not Amazon Prime 'cause it's in theaters. You mean Tuscany? You mean Tuscany? Universal? By Will Packer Productions and Universal Pictures, Shoutout Universal Pictures, 10 points to Gryffindor, type shit, produced by the girls from Girls Trip. Do you remember Girls Trip? Thank you. - So fucking funny. I want rom-com. I don't want rom-mitty anymore. I don't want rom. They both get hit by a bus at the end anymore. I don't want rom with the meaning of life. That can exist too. But a rom-com? - Girls Trip is a good-ass movie. - Girls Trip was a bomb-ass movie. Wake That Up, too. Just rom-coms? And I'll take comedy, too. Just slapstick. Nobody ain't never had for nothing. Yeah, let's go ahead and wake that up. Because personally, if I walked into my villa and there was a random bitch digging my drawers, my first thought wouldn't be like you must be his wife. But hey. - Bitch. Bitch, you see how light that is? You see how light that is? You see how I can see everything in there? That's right. - Yeah. Oh, we're about to cut up, but I'm gonna see it three times. - Yeah. You me in Tuscany, and- - You me in Tuscany, with that little slit in the dress, let go, fuck it. - No, literally the little mermaid, y'all play. - What the girls keep? Because that, that you want to talk about representation, like I genuinely will always chase the feeling of sitting and watching the little mermaid for the first time, like genuinely. - Always. - They have me in there clapping like a seal. - Actually, I was literally on a fucking ball clapping like a seal, like, yeah. So yeah, we're personally like me and my house is gonna see you me in Tuscany. I'm literally gonna go into the premiere tomorrow. - I'm just really like Charlottes. - I'm sorry. - No, it's okay, just let me know how it is. It's just like, really wish I could be there. Can I say it? So anyways, guys, I guess that's all. - Yeah, I think like when it comes down to like, just the vibrations that we bring to the chat, it's just like you me in Tuscany. - I wanna get back to a world where we live, like you me in Tuscany, but you know, it's been a lot of whatever, you know, every film like dark is a bitch. Like, I literally watched the sinners. Wasn't funny. - I watched the sinners that it wasn't at, let me not dark, so it wasn't at the usual, okay? Let's be grateful. Went to a random place. They had parking, that's how I should have known. That's how I should have known, 'cause in LA world, that means they don't give a fuck. Genuinely, the screen was so goddamn dark, the lighting so goddamn dark, and I was watching it with somebody who I hadn't seen it before. I was like, like, phone flash on the theater, looking for details or something. We not enough. I want you me in Tuscany, I want Mario movie, I want SpongeBob movie, and I want Wonka, that she was like kind of dark, but I'll take it. - Big guy. - Big guy. - Um, yeah. - Just bring back like remedies. - No, bring back like the key boots, see bellows. - To load days. - To load days. - To load days. - To load days. - To load days. - Um, yeah, and like. - Shout out Christy Nome's husband, like I don't know. - Honestly, shout out. - Shout the fuck out, you woke it up. - You could have done it, you can't. - I'd rather leak those woke it up. - Boot, see that. - Because again, I land the planet, like mind you, the America that's all are so mad at us for dreaming of. Genuinely, don't give a fuck. If yo shit was a double D triple D way, I would have been like, girl, here's a link for this other breastplate company, like nobody gives a fuck. - No, dad, the fuck ass. Also, I've been wanting to talk about the story this is the last thing I'm gonna say before we end this app. This like random influencer drama that like, there's actually so much I want to say, but there is this girl. - Ow, what's this, what's up in that? - Oh my god. - I was trying to move it, I'm sorry. - Guys, also, I finally finished season two of Mormon wives. I need to what, finish the reunion. - Sweet it. - I just know that like, that show, season two, I was like, ranting and raving, but now I'm like, oh my gosh, like what? They've experienced in that season was insane, and now I'm like scared to watch season three 'cause I know it's gonna be even more insane. With that being said, I'ma watch the fuck out of that show. That's still for whatever reason, weirdly enough, my comfort show like as fuck. With that being said, there is this influencer girl and she dead the fuck ass, or sorry. There is this girl who is not an influencer, but follows this fashion influencer who does like these giveaway boxes, like she'll have, she's like a fashion, this girl is a fashion influencer and she'll like give away her clothes. So she'll be like, okay, for like $200, you could buy like this mystery bag. And like, the girls have gone in the mystery bags before and they'll do like hauls and they'll be like, oh my god, like, I got like XYZ, like element OP. And this girl was like, I'm really particular about clothes, but like, she says it's gonna be like, mostly unworner, lightly used. She buys two bags, $400, plus shipping. And she was like lit because like all the other girls have gone like bomb shit, like whatever. So she gets sent this box. That is- - I've never opened a la boob before. - No, have you ever opened a la boob before? - Because you only know not to buy two. - Because dead ass, I was like, it's giving like, lafufu box because- - First off, the box-- - I love Fufu. - Like, I love Fufu, as far. - Proud of Fufu. - Because she was like, okay, guys, the size of this box, do you think that's two bags worth of clothes? Absolute, fuck no, red heart. Like, it's-- - It was small. - Oh, it was just like, not two bags worth of clothes. - Okay. - If I bought two, like, $400 worth of, like-- - $400 worth of clothes better come with, like, legs in it. - Well, and that's what she was saying, was she was just like, this girl in it? - I don't know. - I'm sorry. - I didn't mean like, people-- - What? Okay, sorry, go ahead. - I get what you mean, though. This girl, and that's why we do this, now, right? And I'm like, no, I feel you. Well, 'cause this girl was like, her and I have, like, I really love her style, and all the pieces she gets are, like, hitters. So I was like, okay, like, I trust her, whatever. - Show us the box, obviously, not two bags worth of clothes. - Okay. - Then she was like, okay, so you guys tell me, if this is $400 worth of clothes, mind you, it also took her three months to ship the box, because she kept having to be inside her ass, being like, ship the box, ship the box. Finally, she ships the box, the clothes that she got, were literally like, Marshall's rack, 2014. Like, literally, the clothes that she got were like, in Zane. Like, one of them was dead as a Marshall's dress, with like, the big chiffon, what's that? Print, where it's Chevron? Chevron print? - Wait, hold, like, the gas station? - See, dress. - Chevron print? - Yeah, that's called when it's like that. - Well, she must have got the 2016 box. - Oh, she got the 2014 box, because by 2016, that was phased out. Yeah, so she literally was getting blouses like this, like, actually, un-sane. - She was, she was trying predicting, so it's like, you know. - And she literally got like, the clothes, like she got this like velvet, mind you, it's so hot. Like she, like, she got this velvet, like, Zara crop top. - Okay, so what, okay. Not to, I, this might be the point of this, but I just have to ask now, what are the stipulations? Is the box completely mystery? And she just assumed because other people's work content, hers would be cut? - Yeah. - And for those people, part of some sort of promotion for this box. - Yes. - So she has a scam. - So no, she has an Instagram, like, group chat. - What? Okay, sorry. So the people who got, got access to, like, bidding for a box or a bag were in her, like, Instagram group chat. Like, you know how you can have like a broadcast channel or whatever. - Yes, so she's offering mystery bags of clothes. - To, like, her followers and her brother. - And it could be any kind of clothes. - But she, no, no, no, no, no. She was saying that it's like, unused or lightly worn, like, current, like, the pieces are supposed to be like, current and like, like, current trends. - Yeah, or like, things that, like, she couldn't wear or like, whatever. - Interesting. - And then the girl, you know what I mean? - Wow. - Wow. - But the thing is, is like, it definitely came with a stipulation of like, it would literally be like, if I was like, okay, guys, I'm giving you pieces in my, in my closet. - Yeah. - These pieces were never in her closet. - Yeah. - Like, these pieces, it's not giving like, oh, I got the wrong size in this, like-- - Yeah, totally totally. - You know what I mean? So I can't wear it, but like, if you, whatever. - Yeah. - No, she's giving shit that like, her grandma got her in fourth grade and she kept it with for whatever-- - She can't wear it anymore. - She can't wear it anymore. - She can't wear it, put it in the box. She, the Zara velvet top that she like, fucking up, threw up on over and over and over again, when she was in her clubbing days, put in the box. - But she hit like a nut, had these new balance shoes or some sort of sneaker. That were like, literally the foam was like, had all the stress markings and were dirty as shit and like, just fucked up. - So she hit a lick. - Oh, nasty lick. And then the girl that had a lick. - Damn. - She literally goes, so do you think this is worth $400 worth of clothes? - Defense of you ask. I said, that's not even $100 worth of clothes. - Really? Can you sell this to me later? - Yes. - But the part where like, I just did roll my eyes a little bit was I was like, girl, you gotta like. I do think when someone's like, an influencer did this and then they don't specify like, who did it? - Oh, she didn't say. - No, so then people start tagging people, being like, I think it's so and so. - Yeah, yeah. - And then those people started getting attacked when it wasn't them. And then it was, anyways, it's some random girl I've never heard of before, who like, is from the South and I'm like, what? - Because they found, she like did like a haul of shit that she was like getting rid of and that dress was like in there. - And I just fear for when I'm hearing like, as a prosecutor, it's like, mystery bag bitch, like, I don't know, it's fucked up. Like, obviously I don't think, honestly, that's why again, like, have you bought a libubu? Like, I personally wouldn't spend $400. - No, I get it. I like completely understand. I just do think like, integrity wise. - Yeah, of course, but that's the thing, she just hit a lick on your ass. Like, and it's crazy. - And you had to chase her down three months for like, she was trying to test you. - She probably already paid. - That's what I'm saying. She did already pay. - $400. I would only do that from like, sin. - Yeah. - Not like my vintage. Like, I would only do that from a homie that like, - Has some sickening shit. - Yeah, that I can literally be like, hey, booty, like, yay. - No, that's what I mean. - No, I'm not, you know, I'm not blaming her because obviously she, there is integrity where it's like, she expected a product, but I'm just like, girl, but when the girls want to hit a lick, like, it's just like, wow. - No, the stuff in there actually, - Absolutely. - No, the stuff in there literally like, shit, had stains on it, shit was like, fucked up. - Mama. - No, and she like, the strap was like broken on some shit. Like, I was like, oh, mama, you're wrong. - You're dead wrong. - So anyway, I literally watched that. I literally, I think I commented. I'm sick. (laughing) - I was like, oh, I'm GM, I'm sick. - Girl, I would be so fucking sick, but damn, like, girl, it's the fine print. Like, she said, random, that's fucked up. - I don't know, you know. - That she said, mystery. - That's, that's ghetto, it's Emily. - It's absolutely horrible. But, it's just like, girl, you can't even take her small clays. Like, she said, mystery. - I would take her to small clays. - Maybe just do the A&C and dabble, shit. - I would, I would be like, judge. Do you, let's let the audience decide. - She'd be like, fuck no, red heart. - Oh, she's, I mean, the part where she went wrong, the only part where this girl lost me about is just like, girl, tag her ass. - Get her. (laughing) - Well, let's let the audience decide. - No, because I might-- - Because that girl's might have been looking for pieces. - No! - Because I'm like, really, tag her ass. Like, that's where you lost me, Luke. It's like, I'm just like, you know this girl, did you dead the fuck wrong, but for you to let the court of public opinion like start bashing random people. - Oh yeah. - Instead of the right person. - Well in tag, I'm telling you, talk her, like, you never know in my videos. - Tag her bitch ass. - I don't know. - Tag her bitch ass, but I was literally gagged as fuck. There was the ugliest. Like, when I saw the dress, that's like, thick. Almost like scuba material. - She can wear it. - That was like-- - In November. - She was like, oh, hell no. - She can wear it in November. Well, 2016, come me back, so. - Girl. - She might be a trend predictor. - Part of the 2010 will not, like-- - Well, because she might have got her hands on some sick things. - If you see me. - Generally, you guys can all eat the fuck out of my words, like-- - You might have to. - If you see me in a chevron top, mama, that might be-- - You might have to eat your words. - But the thing is, even back then, I wasn't wearing a chevron top. - I wasn't either, but I do think we're about to hit a nasty, absurdist link in fashion. - In the South, I think in fashion. - In the South, they're gonna run the chevron. - 'Cause maybe this shit too buttoned to the top right now. - The next, the next pendulum. - But I will say, business casual in the club was part of the chevron blouse. Girl shit, we were in business casual in the club, right? The fuck, well, not everybody, we're of a certain age. But I don't know what the kids are doing, but girl, with all this, like, model-off duty shit that we're doing right now that I participate heavily in, next step, y'all gonna see me like stud day-ass. So it's just like, you know what I mean? And I'll welcome it when it comes, so. So she should hold on to those. - Anyway, she should hold on to those pieces. - No. - Maybe the velvet crop top might come back. - Right. - But maybe the chevron, - As a billowy, kind of like off the shoulder tee. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, - I might like that up. - This is, let me try and find the dress. It will actually send the fuck out of you. It's literally a tent. It's the dress though. The build of the dress is literally like, no one would wear that. No one in the right mind. - Mystery box. - It's just the mystery box. - 400 dollar box influencer bag. - I'll show you 400. - Okay, well, and while my friend searches for this, then we will watch this off-camera. We love you guys. - I love you guys so much. - Thanks for being here and thanks for listening and always follow your dreams and do all the things and chest is impermanent as is everything else, so period. - And that's our neighborhood watch. - Thank you. My name is Watches, you me and Tuscany. - Amen, thank you. - Yes, odd, me too. - All right, love you guys. - Love you guys, bye. (water splashing)

FAQs

Influencers often face long payment delays, such as net 30, 60, or 90 days, after completing work. This can cause financial stress, as creators don’t get paid for work they’ve already done, and some have even gone into credit card debt due to the lack of timely compensation.

Net 30 means the client pays the influencer 30 days after the work is completed. This delay can be frustrating and financially harmful, especially when creators need immediate income to cover expenses.

The podcast is preparing for a special Coachella Weekend episode, where the hosts will be working and twerking in the desert, marking a fun and adventurous shift in their content schedule.

The host discusses high levels of stress, anxiety, and perfectionism common in the industry, where constant demands and urgent timelines create mental strain and make it hard to maintain balance.

Brands often lack transparency and fairness in how they pay creators, with some demanding immediate results and canceling projects without proper communication, leading to exploitative and stressful working conditions.

Creators should set clear boundaries, limit the number of projects they take, and prioritize self-care to avoid burnout, especially in a high-pressure environment where work demands are constant.
