Trump’s Major Mistake Backfires in His Face

The transcript blends business, technology, and political commentary in a satirical yet insightful format. It highlights how trust and compliance—especially with AI security standards—can drive business success, citing Vanta’s role in helping startups like Hyperbound and Snowfire achieve compliance and close major deals. The narrative shifts to a sharp critique of political hypocrisy, focusing on figures like Donald Trump and Lindsey Graham, who use offensive rhetoric and personal attacks to dominate media narratives while holding contradictory private behaviors. The analysis portrays political rallies as performative, emphasizing humiliation and misinformation over substance. It argues that such hypocrisy—especially in leadership—poses a national security and moral risk, calling for greater transparency and accountability. The tone becomes increasingly critical, culminating in a satirical call to action: the idea of a “sore winner” celebrating a blue wave victory with “Maga tears” and Welch’s lemonade, symbolizing defiance and cultural reckoning. The piece serves as both a political commentary and a cautionary tale about the erosion of integrity in public discourse.

When you're building a company, you learn that trust is what closes deals. You may have the best product, but buyers won't sign without proof that your product is secure, especially if it has AI. Vanta gets you compliant fast with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and more, and keeps you secure with continuous monitoring. Hyperbound, a YC-backed startup, used Vanta to unlock the Fortune 100 in under a year. Snowfire got audit ready in a month and closed a multi-million dollar deal. Trust matters. Get started at Vanta.com. Observe. The North American dad. 50s. Great polo collection. He enters his vehicle information on Carvana. An offer appears in minutes. Remarkable. He squints, reads it again, smiles, and says, Dang, that's a good offer. The highest form of approval. No haggling. No hassle. No one called him boss. He's still on the couch. Astonishing. Sell your car today on Carvana.com. Pickup fees may apply. If it holds, it could be a blue blood bath on Tuesday night, and he knows it. And it goes much further than Tuesday night for him, because then he becomes a real lame duck president. Welcome to The Weekend Read, a Welch's Lemonade production. We are Election Eve, Eve, Eve. Don Lemon. Are you ready? I am ready. And look, we need to tell everybody, Jen, that we are their election headquarters. Because right now I'm in Chicago. I'm going to Michigan this weekend. I'm going to see if I can catch up with El-Sayed. And then I'm going to Ohio, see if I can catch up with Amy Acton. And then I have my show, I should say our show, on Tuesday night, right? We're taking over a sports bar. This is an election night watch party, and Jen is going to be, I say, the main special co-host joining us. Now, lots of other folks. So they need to stay tuned to I've Had It podcast and to The Don Lemon Show for everything they need to know about the election, Jen. Because we're on it, and we're honest, and we are not holding back on this shit. Yeah, so everybody that's subscribed to I've Had It, go over and subscribe to Don Lemon's channel. And that's where you can watch live election results, corporate-free results. Okay, Don. Yes, ma'am. The early vote is looking really good. And I'm cautiously optimistic. Yes. Pop this up. More than 43 million Americans have voted early ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. In just Texas, they have passed the 2022 early vote by 2 million votes. I am ready to go. And let's get to what we do best. Yes, ma'am. I want to now, I would say, in assessing the sexuality of the President of the United States, we have had him at likely gay. I'm going to play a video for you. And I want to ask you, does this move him to solidly gay? Play the clip. Right now, heading to Ohio to campaign for a great senator who nobody knew this, one of the best football players around. And I told the people they didn't know this. He has a great ass, very powerful ass. His shoulders, his hands, his arms. What? I don't know what happened. OK, that's good. That's good. Did he say, are we in the power bottom phase of this? Is that where we are now? Are we at the power bottom phase? He just said a very powerful ass. You know, you don't usually shot me, Jen, because I know that you know that you say your piece. Oh, I do not. I do not need that image in my head. I think we are in some weird phase that phase where his his homoerotic tendencies are coming forward. They're just coming because, you know, the older you get, the fewer inhibitions you have right about just saying things right. And even now, my mom says and I'm like, Mom, she goes, look, I'm 80 years old. I can say whatever I want. OK, fine. So but I also think with caution, Jen, just as we said, cautiously optimistic. I think sometimes he says these things because he wants to distract and he knows that we're going to talk about it and everyone's going to write about it. And he doesn't have to talk about the horrible gas prices. The interest rates, the grocery prices and the health care, all of the bad things. So I think it is not. What do you say? It's not it's not mutually exclusive. He can be in his what are we calling leaning gay? I think we've gone from likely to solid with the power bottom. Solidly gay and also distraction. It can be both. So, yeah, but just just know that he's trying to do something weird. I also think it's a really interesting closing message to just keep hammering this to this this party of toxic masculinity. And they're always like, remember, I think it was Homeland Security or somebody tweeted the other day, fake and gay. I'm like, are you talking about the commander in chief? Because that's all he talks about is being fake and gay. All right. Can I ask you something, Jen? Yes. So I have a friend who's like us, who's very outspoken about this. And he said. I think that he might be preparing people for some sort of compromise that's about to come out so that they won't be so shocked. Oh, God, please, please, please, please let it be true. I will inject, inject directly into my veins while simultaneously snorting. I live, I live for Republican gay scandals. I love them with everything in me. They are delicious. Please let that be true. Please, God, you know I'm an atheist. I'll be a much better girl. Please let this be true. I know, you're praying. I need this to be true. Well, that's, and he's someone in the know that he believes that it could be that. And likely, I'm moving that from could to likely. Okay. So, so Trump has been, you know, he's been acting like a nut. He's been telling people to get in shape when his fat ass is out there running around with his makeup lines and whatnot. And he's doing a raffle. He's doing a rally at a high school gym. And then he's canceled them all, canceled all the rallies for the weekend. Now, suddenly they're back on because there are polls coming out in Kansas that the Democrat is up by like eight, nine points. Here is Roger, Roger Marshall responding to Trump canceling their rally in Kansas. Play the clip. Any reaction to the president canceling the in-person rally this weekend? I'm not, I'm not sure, sure yet. I think they think that I'm doing so well. And the polls that he's got probably got better places to spend his time. I'm not sure. Observe the North American dad, 50s, great polo collection. Remarkable. He squints, reads it again, smiles and says, dang, that's a good offer. No haggling, no hassle. Astonishing. Bullshit. Anyways, go on. Yeah. So there's a Washington Post poll that came out that shows that guy trailing by nine in Kansas. And now Trump has changed his mind. Now all of, you know, he's, this guy's such a nut. Now he's saying everything's back on. So pop this up. Caitlin Collins reported that President Trump will now hold rallies in Iowa and Kansas. This, this Sunday within 12 hours, Don, we've gone from, I'm not going to do rallies. And then everybody was like, oh, he must be in bad shape. Well, he's so fragile. Do you see how easy the left goaded him back to do rallies? Think about how Putin and Netanyahu, how easy it would be to goading. Yeah. Yes. And look, all you have to do is say he can't handle it, that he's weak or that he's somehow feeble or sleepy or old. Or just afraid. Look how, look how, look at what Barack Obama did with the Cheesecake Factory. That really got to him. So here's what I think. I do think after all these years when he, you know, Joe Biden is Sleepy Joe. Joe Biden is campaigning from a basement, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then him saying that he's going to get off of the campaign trail and go do phone interviews or teleconference interviews or whatever it is, or rallies. It's ridiculous. And for the Roger Marshall to say that when he's behind nine points, they know that it's a lie. But they can't veer away from the dear leader. So, yeah, I believe Donald Trump was goaded back into it by the Democrats and by people like us who are just reporting on it. Honestly, there is no way Donald Trump built his political career on unhinged rallies and unfactual, illogical rallies where he just spouts off whatever he wants. You know, saying, oh, John Husted went up 12 points after I started talking about his ass. Bullshit. The polls didn't change. So none of it, none of it is true. So, yes, he was. And if it holds, if it holds, it could be a blue blood bath on Tuesday night and he knows it. And it goes much further than Tuesday night for him because then he becomes a real lame duck president. I had Alan Lichtman on who said that he has gone from he got some new information on Kansas that gives him that puts puts a chance. of winning the Senate at 70%, which is higher than he had four. So the House, for sure he believes, and the Senate, 70%. So kumbaya, my lord. I hope so. And I want Trump's ass on the campaign trail. He is our best surrogate. I want him crisscrossing every rural town and half filling up high school gymnasium and doing all of his gay shit on repeat. I think he needs to do 10 rallies a day. He is our absolute best. We love seeing him out there just doing that Trump thing. Trump, Donald Trump, you can do it, sir. Go, go, go. Maybe there won't be as many protesters this time, which by the way, that is something that has been incredible. Did you see the guy? I had him on. Are you talking about the guy who asked about the Epstein files? Yes. Yeah, I had him on. He's great. Did you also see the guy who was like, I just wanted to see what it was like to see a cult up close and personally and straight live on Fox. And he looked kind of MAGA. He was a MAGA coded looking guy. And then so they had him standing by and then it was like a total bait and switch. It was beautiful. I wasn't old enough in the late seventies to go to Guyana. And the guy was like, what? And he goes, yeah, because it's great to see a cult up close and personal. The guy's like, oh, no, no, no. It was so good. All right. So now we have Vance and he is another surrogate that is helping the Democrats immensely. And he, this will forever fascinate me. Here's a man who has a wife that is Indian. He has mixed race kids and he goes out and he says shit like this to MAGA. Play the clip. We had a, one of our kids had a problem. We took him to the emergency room. It was like totally fine. It was young parents being panicky as young parents sometimes are. And I'm sitting there in the emergency room and there are like nine different translators for nine different languages. While I'm worried about a medical problem that my son has. And I'm just thinking to myself, how about if everybody spoke English and we could hire more doctors and less translators in our country? How about if you just mind your own fucking business and go get some exfoliator and exfoliate that ratchet eyeliner off of your eyes? You don't have to listen Gladys Kravitz to what everybody's saying in the ER. Focus on your kid. And by the way, your in-laws are immigrants. I also think he's lying. There were not nine translators in the ER. That 0% did not happen. It's not nine translators in the ER. And guess what? Maybe the people speaking those nine languages are better doctors. Maybe the hospital or whatever facility you're going to are actually basing it on meritocracy and not because they're cute and blonde. And maybe we can put, put them to be the, the white house press secretary, or maybe they can be in charge of the Pentagon and the defense department when they're not qualified. So I'm more concerned about a doctor that is qualified, that is giving me or my child, or I don't have a child or my fur baby is a veterinarian or my, the love of my life, Jen Welch, that they're giving them a great healthcare. And so, okay, great. If this is the best person, Jen, wouldn't you be like, bring the damn translator in. This is the best. Doctor for this particular thing that we're talking about, bring them in. So what are you worried about that for, especially when you have a wife who is from an immigrant family? What, what, what, what is your, what is your problem? I ran into this man on the street the other day who was just flummoxed and, and flabbergasted that, um, that Ted Cruz said what he said about, uh, Abdul El-Sayed, right. About him being a terrorist and they're going to need a, uh, Donald Trump saying he wanted. A medical, a metal detector and that, uh, Ted Cruz saying that, that I'll say it was going to put Americans in jeopardy. And he said, what happened to us? What happened to Americans that were now demonizing immigrants? Immigrants are the backbone of our economy and our society. And for JD Vance, not to understand that when he has a, when he has Indian, he has Brown children and, and his, I'm sure his in-laws probably speak of a different, different language as their native tongue. So it is just, it shows me that he has no convictions. He has no scruples. He has no morals and he will do whatever it is that he thinks is better for him to suck up to Donald Trump and MAGA. That's it. Or I think there's an even worse scenario. He knows exactly what he's doing. And he intentionally betrays his wife and kids because he views them as a liability with the racist MAGA base. So, he makes a point like, uh, did you see Vivek Ramaswamy out there saying, we're not going to, we're not going to turn Ohio like Dearborn, Michigan, which famously has a lot of Muslim population. And I'm like, Vivek, okay. I've been in these white circles. All right. If you're a white person, you've been in circles where, you know, the way people are like Vivek can be spoken about. And it's just unbelievable to me that he somehow thinks he's the magic Indian in this scenario in, if you're a token, you're going to get spent first. And I think that we saw that JD, not JD Vance, um, Elon Musk fired, uh, Vivek Ramaswamy almost immediately, but it's just amazing to me how these people go to these white supremacists, these rabid racists, and they think somehow they're going to be safe. Somehow they're going to be the special one. Um, I don't even know what else I can add to that. Uh, considering, um, how many, how many Indian American, uh, people I have asked has, um, Vivek Ramaswamy forgotten that he is a Brown person. And I think he has. And I think, look, I think so many times over and over, he has been told they don't want him that they don't want. There was someone on the internet recently, and it may have been a lawmaker who was playing like, you know, Indian music, like whatever saying, is this what we're talking about? Is this what we want for Ohio? Like those bigots in MAGA, they've told you more than once, more than twice, more than three times, more than four times that they just don't want you. Look at what happened when you know, you guys were out touting the H1B visas, MAGA lost their minds and went completely racist. Uh, look at what happened when, uh, you helped to establish Doge because you were going to cut all these services and, and for people who needed them. And the first person they got rid of in Doge was who? Vivek Ramaswamy, the brown guy. He was the first person and look at Ann Coulter. Uh, I, I, you said some great things, but I can't vote for you because you're Indian. Uh, and then it goes, I mean, there are many more examples of that. None other, none bigger. I believe in this moment is, uh, Ohio saying, uh, no, I don't care how much you, um, suck up to Donald Trump, suck up to MAGA, put out horrible ads about Amy Acton and her, um, her childhood sex abuse. We don't want you causing him. To double, triple down. And then as you know, recently he had to, he pulled that ad because he realized he is losing. And I think it's too late, Jen. Don't you hope the same thing that you're praying and you're not a believer that he just loses by such a huge margin that he's just so embarrassed that he doesn't come back. Yes. And next Tuesday, I want to be a sore winner. I do not want to be a gracious winner. I want to be a sore winner. I want to drink MAGA tears. I need it. I want to be this. Are you in your, are you in your see you next Tuesday moment right now? I am. I am. I think I have that. This says see you next Tuesday. And the C U N T is a different color. Do you see that? I am. And you know, I'm not calling you a disparaging name. I'm just saying it's a compliment and these are MAGA tears. Okay. Mine are a little cloudy, but look, look, like a little Welch's lemonade. I like it. Okay. Mixed with MAGA tears. I want to talk about the Abdul El-Sayed race because everybody's always like, okay, do you condemn Hassan Piker to Abdul and all this shit that's irrelevant? But nobody ever asked Mike Rogers who campaigns with Donald Trump. If he condemns Donald Trump, who is a felon and adjudicated rapist, a racist and all of these things. Furthermore, they're trying to pin Abdul El-Sayed as being some sort of clandestine member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Well, we did a little digging around here with Ryan and Kylie. Do you know who the biggest donor and the biggest financier of the Muslim Brotherhood is? Qatar. Oh, wait. Yeah. Qatar, but someone else funded. And you know who gave a $400 million bribe plane to Donald Trump? Qatar. Qatari. Yeah. Yeah. So the call is always coming from inside the house, but here is Abdul responding to Trump's racism. Play the clip. He said, he said that I should have to go through a metal detector. That's all right, man. He took that Wolverine thing seriously. He knows I got claws. But here's the deal, Donald. Listen, I'll go through a metal detector if you'll sit for a lie detector. Simple. I got nothing to hide. You've got so much to hide. my first question epstein second question did you win the 2020 election and you know what i think i think so good he's so good and i also want a televised cognitive test because you know you do i want to see it live on tv all right yeah uh what was it something horse camel brino some camera tv oh god i would love to see that you should say my god you aced so many cognitive tests why don't you take one live on tv that would be great yeah lie detector test too i love it he's good they're so scared of him they are so scared of him what do you think i saw that cory booker's in the lineup for our uh for your uh election day and i don't know if you saw yesterday cory booker that he was asked about abdul and he was he will not endorse him he will not just boldly endorse him we'll have to talk to him you got to talk about it of course i mean he's not one of he's not one of the co-hosts he's a guest like any other political guests that we have on right yeah and so yeah we're gonna have to we'll have to ask him about that um look there look let's just be honest about this um i looked at the uh campaign the rally in georgia earlier this week and i saw barack obama fine as hell right let's just be honest right a hundred percent and then i saw and then i saw john ossoff fine and good looking as hell and then keisha lance bottoms came out just gorgeous beautiful specimen of a woman just fine as hell and then i went over and i looked at michigan el saeed is a is a hunk of a man don't you think el saeed is a good looking man yeah not only that he is brilliant brilliant brilliant so i'm looking at this i'm looking at um michigan the rallies there with el saeed and and obama and then georgia with uh ossoff and and keisha and obama and i'm like wow look at these beautiful intelligent just great people and then we went to ohio with donald trump and i was like it just went downhill it was gross did you talking about people yeah turtle turtle it was a turtle and so and so i just said look it's just it's not even comparable in this moment it's just talking points about um terrorism muslims uh democrats asses penises muscles hands feet it's like what are you talking about and then you have uh el saeed talking about health care you got obama uh um um what do you call it uh just trolling him with the the um the the cheesecake factory and then you have you know um ossoff just talking about what he's going to do for georgia and they're not they're just the complete opposite not only are they not as attractive they're not as smart and i don't believe that they're willing and wanting to help the american people as much as a democratic side right now i agree you mentioned the cheesecake factory and um the demon queen scott besant staged a press conference at the cheesecake factory this week um let's play the clip hi mr secretary interesting lunch choice today what did you order for the cheesecake oh i have what i always had the the french dip cheeseburger excellent and so recent news we've got former president obama comparing white house decorations or construction to uh the cheesecake factory saying it looks like saddam hussein opened the cheesecake factory any reaction to that well two things this is the man who built the the museum it looks like darth bader's tomb and i would just tell the i had a great meal always have a great meal and i would tell the martha's vineyard set to give it a try okay number one that whole thing was scripted and staged it was as obvious as all get out it you could tell the reporter had it they had that was a total agreed on it was a hundred percent a setup scott besant no more goes to the cheesecake factory on a regular basis then then donald trump does okay which is zero and i loved obama when he just he will double down with these people and he goes did you notice they didn't even get upset about the corruption i talked about they didn't get upset that i compared him to saddam hussein the he he mobilized the entire administration to this cheesecake factory joke because this is all they're intellectually capable of and so they they they are only intellectually capable of going to bat for the cheesecake factory which by the way what the first one was in beverly hills and um it's really quite expensive i'm not a huge fan because the menu is too big for me i think if you try to do all all different types of food you're probably not good at one thing but nonetheless i mean no shade to the cheesecake factory but the interior design there is very much trumpian okay let me tell you this let me just say this um one scott besant is a gay man he should have a better idea of design than that he should have a better handle first of all he should have a better idea of design than that he should have a better handle first of all i don't believe that he's ever eaten at the cheesecake factory not some place that he frequents okay so let's not pretend he's a half a billionaire so come on and the thing is too that people and they're saying oh he's he's disparaging the cheesecake factory first of all the cheesecake factory is not a it's not a cheap place right it's not some place that you go that's cheap and it is designed like a restaurant and what i see obama saying is that the white house should not look like a restaurant uh that saddam hussein uh you know decorated and and is turning into a place for a a world leader to live that's what i hear saying and so and and so i think scott besant should is well aware of that but i don't believe that he's ever eaten at the cheesecake factory maybe you know uh or maybe once or twice i don't know i just don't believe it and i do think that it was set up but scott besant should have a better sense of design um especially as a gay man he should know he should know what bad design and bad taste is and look am i stereotyping gay men yes pull his card pull his car we're gonna take him we gotta take the card you gotta take his card uh uh send him back to the straits i'm sorry he he should have no gay privileges that man yeah and look when i look when i saw him coming out i looked at the design on the cheesecake factory and i said it's not it's not a bad design it's just i just wouldn't want it in my house i wouldn't want the white house to look like that you know what i'm saying and um so i think this it's just a bridge too far they're being too cute by half with that obama's disparaging the cheesecake factory and he said i spent so many so much time at the cheesecake factory and chucky cheese and california pizza when the girls were young and he goes these aren't cheap places yeah i know that right but i just don't think that the white house should look like that and and everybody knows that that's the truth look at the white house i mean it's it's a liverace show of the high it's like the order what did i call it the white house hillbilly disaster yeah it's it's like the beverly hillbillies and all his kids yeah the cement pond i'm putting in a new semen pond in the white house and we're going to put on the concrete a whirlybird pad it's like oh jesus jethro all right so i love one of my favorite things i love you thank you one of my favorite things is when trump humiliates uh the maga man to their faces and they just sit there and they take it you can tell they enjoy it like the humiliation kink so he recently had a rally in texas and he was sitting there talking about of course john husted's ass which now we have elevated to a power bottom at the clip that we started out with so the power bottom ass it was he was talking about john hester's ass and he said and i would talk about ken paxton but i'm sorry ken you don't have the physique for this ken paxton's just sitting there smiling and laughing right then lion ted cruz is at the same rally and trump goes yeah you know what we're going to do with ted we're going to send him to the supreme court and all the democrats will vote for him because they all hate him and all the republicans are going to vote for him because they all hide him ted cruz is the biggest masochist on the planet he stands up after trump said everybody hates him in d.c he stood up waved to the president like a goddamn pageant queen waved at the crowd and smiled with his big old gut and he just he loved it he stood there and he's like give me more humiliate me more so ken paxton is face planning and it's beautiful and there's a ken paxton surrogate that is begging people not to leave his rally play that oh oh wow i haven't seen this and the reason why that is because i don't want the media to turn it in saying that people don't like ken paxton well it's not our fault that we have jobs we got to do in the morning i'm sorry i said do me a favor please don't leave that's how he started it and it's not our fault that we have job oh please don't leave because we don't want people saying so he's saying that people are leaving because they have jobs what is that when does that ever become an excuse for somebody to leave a rally because if you love the person then you're going to be there you're going to stay and you're going to watch and so what like wow and ken paxton now too i don't know you you mentioned jen uh that the rallies are back on for donald trump but ken paxton also canceled a rally is is that rally back on for him i don't know the answer to that i'll have them they'll look it up ryan says yeah it's not back on it's still canceled as of as of friday mid-morning there you go doing this okay there's your answer let's move on to uh darlene can we please i have so much to say about this okay jen but go ahead here's darlene graham trying to channel her inner badass let's play the clip i don't know about you but i will not allow the liberals and socialists to turn south carolina you you know what they can just kiss my ass kiss my grits and then she goes look at me they can just kick kiss my ass oh i am fucking shaking in my boots darlene this democrat socialist libtard i am scared to fucking death of darlene graham what a threat that is aren't you shaking in your boots oh i'm so scared let me just talk to you like i had a conversation with the folks that in my orbit that i had earlier this week about this because uh the story that you did and i did on uh lindsey graham and the uh sex workers saying you know alleging that he did whatever and they said well i don't know why that someone said i don't know why the reporters are asking her about it because she doesn't know they should just leave they should leave her alone she doesn't know she she she stepped in and she had to step into her brother's seat and i said wait a damn minute she stepped into the arena and then i said very because i'm talking to my folks i said y'all be falling for this bullshit about darlene graham is just a little old lady who doesn't know what she's doing and she's out here trying to do the best for her brother of course she is in her brother's seat and if you are going to get a response for any story that has to do with her brother or the state of south carolina or whatever it is who are you going to call you're going to call lindsey graham's office what is lindsey graham's office it's now darlene's office if you call anybody from a statement for a statement you go straight to the source and fortunately or unfortunately for her that's her and lindsey graham's staff who she has now and lindsey graham's old seat that she did not uh she was she's not elected to do she was given that position and if she's given that position then she assumes all the responsibilities that come along with that position so for the people who are saying darlene graham cut her some slack she doesn't know about she's not a politician i say f that she stepped into the arena willingly she's a grown-ass woman and if people have questions about it they should be able she should be able to answer for it they threw someone out for asking out of a press conference for asking about it she should have an answer for it her staff should have an answer for it and they should not be throwing people out of rallies so this oh i'm just a dawdling old lady after she said that kiss my ass i was like don't be falling for that because that is the real darlene graham and guess what i want to know if her policies are the same as her brother's policies her her stance on same-sex marriage and gay and lgbtq issues if it's the same as her brothers what is she going to do if she steps into that seat for those issues and others so everything that you would ask lindsey graham about running for office or in that position you should be asking darling graham about it as well i'll get off of my high horse now i love it and i think we should ask also ask darling grant do you want to continue your brother's tradition of hiring renna boys darling are you doing same are you also a sub in these scenarios is that what excites you most but here's what i'm going to take it further i think every person in the u.s senate should be asked about lindsey graham because this is a national security risk if a united states senator has a huge secret like this it's safe to assume that massad and the russians etc know about this lindsey graham was laser focused on helping the benjamin netanyahu government more than he was the people of south carolina it has been rumored in political circles forever that people have compromise on lady graham i think these issues as juicy as they are if there are senators that are willing to stand up and say this is a national security risk i think this is a national security risk i think there's a lot of people who are willing to stand up and say this is a national security risk i think there's a lot of people who are willing to stand up and say this is a national security risk to blackmail people. This was a part of his training. Did david pecker at the national inquire did somebody catch and kill one of these stories and donald trump said listen up lindsey No more. I love john mccain. I'm a maverick bullshit You vote with me and you advocate for me or i'm outing you and these are not that far-fetched of of scenarios This is we're in this we're in this stage of this fascist takeover right now If you have a closeted senator a person who chose a public life and they have this secret where they're, you know, hiring sex workers and, you know, doing gay stuff at night all the time. And then you're going to vote and you're voting for, you know, straight marriage and all this other cockamamie bullshit that's never going to make Lindsey Graham straight ever. It's never going to do anything but just but just marginalized people. This is a national security risk. So not only should Darlene swat face Graham be asked this all the time, every single United States Senator should be asked about it. And there needs to be a postmortem investigation who all knew and was Lady Graham being compromised and blackmailed. I don't have anything to add to that. I just, I think that you're right because it is a national security issue. And the thing that gets me is that when I ask people, you know, why, like they say, why, why didn't this things like this, you know, the, the sex worker thing, why didn't it come out when he was alive? They tried and news organizations, corporate news organizations wouldn't do it. Right. And so finally, I think him from, yeah, they wouldn't do it. And then now, you know, we've had an independent news organization, do the research, do their homework and put it out there. And so I, when people say he's not, he's not alive to defend himself, that's not an excuse for me not to cover this story because it is about national security. And you're right. Everyone, lawmakers, Republican lawmakers, I think the Senate and the Congress should have to answer for it, including the White House. I think little Moses might grind her Johnson. I'd like to grill him over it for a while. I mean, I really, I genuinely would enjoy it. I think my heart rate may even go up a little bit when I did it. Well, the thing for me is that they think like, oh my gosh, it's so you're disparaging him by saying that he's gay. No, that's being gay is not anything that is disparaging. There's nothing wrong with being gay. What's wrong. What's wrong is hypocrisy. And, um, if you are implementing laws that are detrimental to the LGBTQ plus community, and you are part of that community, that's hypocrisy. What's wrong is, um, you know, you doing that and being a hypocrite, that's what's wrong, but there's nothing wrong with being gay. And there's nothing, I believe, slanderous or libelous about saying that, because if someone said, I think we've, we've talked about this before. Hey, Don, you're straight. I'd be like, I'm suing you. Oh my gosh, you called me straight. It's like, no, no, I'm not. I'm not straight. I'm gay. Proud gay man. Next question. Yeah. Yeah. And the problem, the situation is we don't think any, there's anything wrong with being gay. But Lindsey Graham at work sure as fuck voted as though there was something wrong with being gay. And then it's, you know, asking for these rent-a-boys to disparage him. And the more he was disparaging him, the more he was disparaging him. And the more he was disparaging the harder he got. That's a direct quote from the documentary. That's what the sex worker said. I know these aren't pleasant things to think about, but it is, it is relevant when somebody goes and votes all day. And there was lots and lots of video footage of Lady Graham speaking explicitly about gay marriage and talking about how it was wrong and all of this crazy stuff. I mean, just crazy right-winger shit. And then you find out what he's doing at night. That is relevant. Hypocrisy in our leaders is newsworthy. And if it's about gay sex or if it's about whatever it is about, whatever the hypocrisy is, it would be like if you found out that some right-wing female politician that's voting all this anti-abortion stuff had had a couple of abortions before. That is relevant. These things are relevant because we need to elect people that are interested in transparency, that are fine with transparency, that, you know, I mean, we all know this, but Rihanna, I'm going to close out. Rihanna has entered the chat. Pop this up. Rihanna blames non-voters for Trump's second term win in response to Joy Reid's claim that he is what America deserves. And believe it or not, those who didn't vote at all also did this. And so Rihanna commented on Joy this. and said that, and that's what, Rihanna's correct, that the sofa is what beat Kamala, that our base didn't show out strongly enough in the numbers that we needed. But I love how engaged Rihanna is in politics. Yeah. And I'm actually surprised that she went there, pleasantly surprised because, you know, Rihanna is not from, originally from America. And so many people are afraid if you're, especially if you're an immigrant in this country to even speak out on politics. So I commend her and I don't think that she's wrong. There was a lot of apathy, you know, during the 2024 election, which could have, you know, which I think not could have, I think led to Kamala Harris's defeat. And we can't have that apathy in this moment. All right. Final question. I asked you an October day in New York city in 2024, is Kamala going to win? Yeah. And you said, you looked at me and you grabbed both, grabbed me by the shoulders because you knew it was going to be a blow. And I said, Trump's going to win. And I was like, fuck. And you were right. But I didn't want to believe you. I thought you were just, you'd been running around with MAGA, doing your man on the street in MAGA places. And I was still in, immediately went into denial. So I'm asking you, is it going to be a blue tsunami on Tuesday? And are we going to take both the House and the Senate? I think it's going to be a blue win. I don't know if it's going to be a tsunami, or, um, you know, a wave. I think more of a wave, I would say more of a wave than a tsunami and, um, Leaning wave, not solid wave, but leaning wave. Yeah. A leaning wave. It's, it's not like it doesn't, it's not like a big giant crest where you get thrown under the surf and you're like, Oh shit. Uh, but I think it's going to be big enough to scare the bejeebus, uh, out of Donald Trump and the Republicans. And they're afraid now, but it's only going to work as if people are motivated and go out. Um, so, uh, I am, uh, uh, I'm more confident this time. And I'll tell you when, cause you mentioned my man on the streets, I do hear Trump, not nearly as much as I had been before Jen. And, um, and all of these numbers from around the country, uh, for early voting leads me to believe that, um, they're, we're going to have a blue, um, cresting of the sort. It could be, what do you, what do you call it? When, um, shoots, what do they call it? Not what, what high tide or, or, Oh, this, the surge, it's the storm surge that does the thing. So I think it's going to be like, it'll be a flood and then the surge will come and we'll be like, wow, this is great. But, um, well, I do think it's going to be, uh, I do think that we might have an early night. I hope so. Cause you know, I love an early bedtime. I know. That's why I was like, Jen, when I said, if we asked Jen to come on and she agrees, we got to get her butt out of here early because she likes to go to bed. Can I show you one thing before we go? Oh my gosh. Okay. So don't freak out. Kylie, don't freak out. Cause I'm going to do something a little bit unorthodox for, uh, our weekend reading. I'm going to show you something because I am here in Chicago and, uh, I just want to show you, and I hope this doesn't, do you see outside of my window right here? I don't know if you can see it. I hopefully this doesn't hang on. Are you drinking again? Here we go. No, I'm not drinking again. Are you ready for this? Are you ready? Yes. Yes. Yes. Do you see that? Oh my God. The Trump tower. Oh my God. Speaking of awful design, it is the tackiest. And I always commend Chicago on their architecture, how beautiful it is. The mid-century, the buildings are just gorgeous. It's a beautiful city. And I lived here for three years. This building is so tacky and it is so outside of the bounds of what I usually see Chicago's great architecture and those big ass. And not just because it's his name, it could be anybody's name on there. It could be lemon on there. And I would go, Oh my God, what, who did that tacky shit? And so I almost had to get changed rooms and said, put me on the other side of the hotel. But I said, no, no, no, no. This is inspiring and motivating. I mean, did you see that? Do you, you're an interior designer. You're come on, tell me, what do you think? It's everything he does is tacky, but I'm with you. I would say I want the enemy right across and I'm going to sit here and and just hate on him all my whole fucking stay. And I don't believe in any of this shit, but I'm going to voodoo manifest. I'm going to do all this shit because I want to be a sore winner on Tuesday. I want to be a sore, horrific, insufferable twat winner with you by my side. With your, uh, see you next Tuesday mug in your hand. As you say in my I'll bring it. Welch's lemonade with liberal tears. We need to get, we need to tell the truth. Tell the bar to have the drink of the night be Welch's lemonade. Like, okay, let's do a sip. Lemonade soda water. Liberal tears. We'll shoot liberal tears. No, not liberal tears. Maga tears. Maga tears. They're laughing that I always, that's what they're the ones who always say that. Of course I botched it. Anyway, Welch's lemonade community Tuesday night. Maga tears. Maga tears. Tuesday night, go to Don Lemon's channel. Subscribe to Don Lemon's channel. Subscribe to this channel. Get your Welch's lemonade ready. I'll have Kylie come up with a recipe for it. And we're going to get our, we're going to get our gay chart made with the magnets and we're going to move people from toss up. I can't wait. I'm so excited. I love you so much. I can't wait to be in the same room with you. Same. All right. See you Tuesday. See you next Tuesday. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye.
