Trump Posts THREAT... Then Does THIS

So this is pretty terrifying, it's serious, and it's not getting the attention that it deserves. Donald Trump is once again going full dictator mode as he so often does and loves to do. And this time, he's targeting the media and promising to get his administration involved to shut it down. He's specifically focusing on reporting from NBC and Kristen Welker on his endorsements and how many of them have not gone to plan and he really didn't like it, dedicating this entire rant on social media to it and some actions to follow. So we're gonna talk about all of this and more. Trump is coming after free speech. That impacts me, you, everybody around you. It also impacts the Republicans. I hope they know that. So I hope they're not celebrating this jumping up and down many of them probably are. But let's get into the story. Kristen Welker, at least the rant is long. The unpopular hostess of the once great meet the press now considered meet the fake press just stated that Donald Trump has mixed results on his endorsements of candidates. When the recent wins of Darling Graham and Mike Mezi stand at 100% for the US Senate and 98% for the US House recently and over the long term. How can anyone be allowed to say this working for freely given public airwaves? Here we go. He's gonna talk about the FCC. The reality for Donald Trump is that the reporting is actually correct. So Donald Trump doesn't want you to know this. He doesn't want you to talk about it but it is correct. Donald Trump's endorsement record has taken a hit at the end of primary season and here are the details. Check this out. Donald Trump's beloved endorsement record has taken a hit during the 2026 midterm primary cycle with 10 candidates so far being defeated despite having the president's support. That's a lot. Trump has long touted his near perfect endorsement record over the last decade. And his backing is highly coveted in Republican circles. Trump's support can often mean the difference between a win and a loss for a Republican candidates going head to head and candidates routinely tack the Trump endorsed sticker on their campaign apps. And this has been the case for many years. Republicans would fight amongst themselves for Donald Trump's endorsement and even Republican candidates who weren't endorsed by Donald Trump would pretend like they were. So it's like this highly coveted, highly sought after thing in Republican circles but now maybe not so much because more candidates than ever with Trump's endorsement are losing. And while Trump's record for the 2026 midterm elections has had far more victories than defeats, his success rate has taken a hit over the last month. So far in this midterm cycle, 10 Trump back candidates have lost their primaries in their respective races of those five have lost in their group in editorial primaries for in the house and one for attorney general. As a result, it's become one of Trump's worst primary endorsement cycles he has had on record. Amassing more primary losses than his endorsements in 2018, 2024 and 2020 combined. Combined. So obviously not a great cycle for Donald Trump. And yet he wants to pretend like he's had this ultimate success and wants to attack people for reporting on it. Interesting, how can anyone be allowed to say this working for freely given public airwaves results are attached because of this purposeful inaccuracy, she will be reported to the FCC for rebuke or punishment. Unfortunately, she is not the only one. The radical left news is going out of their way to harass, demean and libel anything Trump. Their new weapon is to say that my 99% success rate on endorsements 100% in the Senate, many of whom were not given a shot of winning until I endorsed as either a mixed result or not very good in actuality. It is without question the strongest endorsement in history of politics. If it were not, I would be the first to admit it. OK, I mean, get real. He can't even admit that his candidates have lost. He says he's the first, he would be the first to admit if his endorsement wasn't all that powerful. Give me a break. Darling Graham's run for Senate was the biggest story in all of politics because she wasn't expected to win. And then when I endorsed her, and she easily won, the story of her victory was hardly covered by anybody. Likewise, a future governor of Oklahoma who was behind in every poll, I endorsed him he won. And the story was barely covered. The press is a disgraced ornation. And I hope that Chairman Brendan Carr and the fine people of his commission will take this threat to our country very seriously. Thanks for your attention to this matter. And the important matter of fake polls and commentary and Donald Trump includes this graph, who knows if it's actually correct. But this is what Donald Trump is claiming here that he has a 98% success rate in the 2026 midterms. But importantly, he's saying let's get Brendan Carr involved, the FCC Chairman, who has also listened to Donald Trump's orders before, thinking of Jimmy Kimmel and other late-night hosts who he has targeted because they said things that were not nice about Donald Trump. So it actually, I think Trump has a decent chance of success here in terms of getting Brendan Carr to go after them. Now will the FCC be successful in their attacks? Probably not, but it is still a chilling effect. It's a sign to the media, a message to the media that if you report on something that's not good for Donald Trump, if you report on his historically low approval rating, then we might come after you. Donald Trump also saying the fake polls used by our crooked media are out of control and something must be done about it, FCC to the rescue. So now Donald Trump is not only threatening the media for covering the polls, but he's also threatening the pollsters. He doesn't want any pollsters putting out bad numbers about Trump. He is historically low on a disapproval rating that is sitting at, you know, a 30% approval rating for Americans across the board. He doesn't want you talking about it. He doesn't want it covered. And now he wants legal action. It's just gross. It's just gross. And look, Donald Trump, before the election, pretended to be this free speech warrior. Remember that Republicans ran on. We're bringing back free speech. The Democrats have taken it away, which is not true, of course. And we, the Republicans are going to bring it back. Me and Elon Musk are going to do it. Donald Trump had this plan where he warned that without free speech America is not truly free. The five point plan included an executive order to prevent federal agencies from collaborating on speech suppression with private companies. Seems like there's been a lot of that under Trump. DOJ investigations into censorship practices, reforming section 230 penalties for universities found engaging in censorship. A digital bill of rights, Trump's strong stance against censorship has ignited debate over the role of government in regulating tech platforms. But really, Donald Trump has not been pro-free speech at all in his administration. Think about when he kicked the associated press out of the Oval Office because they wouldn't call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. Think about all of these news agencies that he sued and settled with for tens of millions of dollars. They just bent the need to Trump because they don't want further threats. I mean, he is not free speech. Or what about this? When Donald Trump said Americans who criticized the Supreme Court for overturning Roe v. Wade should be imprisoned. Yes, the free speech president, right? They were very brave, the Supreme Court, very brave, and they take a lot of hits because of it. It should be illegal what happens. You know, you have these guys like playing the rough, like the great Bobby Knight. These people are should be put in jail the way they talk about our judges and our justiceists. Wow, it doesn't sound very free speech to me. Or what about when Pam Bondi said she's going after hate speech legally when she was attorney general, Donald Trump kind of endorsed that. And saying, baby, people should go after the media. That'll come to a vote, but we'll see what happens. And what do you think Pam Bondi's saying? She's going to go after hate speech. Is that for me, for all of you who are out of your hour, I say hate speech is free speech. We'd probably go after people like you because you'd be so unfairly in tape. You have a lot of hate in your heart. Maybe I'll come after your ABC. Well, ABC paid me $16 million recently for a form of hate speech, right? Your company paid me $16 million for a form of hate speech. So maybe they'll have to go after you. Nice. The free speech president strikes again. Or what about this? When Donald Trump said, 97% of the story is about a person are bad. That's no longer free speech. And he is saying this to the media who were there for one of these impromptu press conferences that he so often has. George Sloppy Doppler has had to pay $16 million to me because of what he said. And that's APC. You had to pay more than that. Your network had to pay more than that. So I think it's very sad. But I think that reporting has to be at least accurate. At least accurate to an extent. Again, when somebody is given 97% of the stories are bad about a person, that's no longer free speech. It's no longer, and that's just cheating. And they cheat. And they become really-- I mean, this guy needs to brush up on free speech laws. Open a book. You know, matter of fact, don't even open a book. Open the Constitution. Just read it. It's right there. Super easy to understand. He's a president of the United States doesn't understand what the First Amendment does, what it protects, what it doesn't. I mean, this guy is a total idiot. And of course, we've seen it before. We've seen Donald Trump launch attacks against people. He doesn't like using the levers of government to do that. Remember when Donald Trump and the Republicans were out of power, and they were accusing the Democrats of doing it, which never happened. But they were accusing the Democrats of doing it and launching these investigations improperly using levers of government to silence them. And they decried it. They said that Joe Biden's a dictator. And now when Donald Trump is actually doing that, when he used Brendan Carr to go after Jimmy Kimmel, and he was taken off the air for a week, then they're all silent about it. Then they're all quiet. There's not a heap from these Republicans. And of course, recently, actually, this was updated today, or yesterday, I should say, August 29th. Today's the 30th, Trump, according to a judge, has ruled that he cannot deport students for criticizing Israel. That is a free speech thing. You can criticize Israel. You can criticize the United States. You can criticize other countries that is well within the first amendment. And Donald Trump was trying to deport people who did. And that's gross. And that's anti-free speech. So quite frankly, I think this threat that Donald Trump is making against Kristen Welker. I wish I could say, oh, it's just another rant from Trump on social media. It's just BS, you know, there's nothing to worry about. I actually think there is something to worry about and I think especially as we get closer to the midterms, Donald Trump is going to become more erratic. He's going to become crazier than he already is, which is hard to believe because he's already very crazy. But I think he's going to become even more insane and be willing to do more outlandish things that are obviously not covered by the law, but he doesn't care. And so this is pretty nerve-wracking.
