🚨TRUMP Issues $500 Obamacare Checks & Teases $5k DIVIDEND: Good Politics, Bad Policy? | Iran's Pickaxe Mountain Preps For Strikes | Jelly Roll Taking Over For Kimmel?!

FanDuel is now accessible across the U.S., allowing users to engage in sports betting nationwide. Mint Mobile offers affordable wireless plans at $15 per month, with new customer incentives and network limitations. Shopify is positioned as an essential tool for entrepreneurs, enabling businesses to launch from design to sales. A central theme of the discussion centers on President Trump’s proposed $500 refunds for Obamacare enrollees who overpaid, which he claims were unfairly collected by the prior administration. He also proposes a $5,000 dividend for every adult American if Republicans gain control of Congress, framing it as a direct return of economic prosperity. Critics highlight serious economic concerns, including inflation, massive deficit risks, and the lack of available funds, warning that such a program would strain the national budget. The narrative positions the upcoming election as a critical battle against progressive economic policies and "socialist extremism," citing threats from Iran and domestic political movements. The discussion also touches on the broader political climate, including media reactions, the role of tariffs in generating revenue, and tensions over messaging and accountability. While the $500 refund is presented as a tangible, limited correction, the $5,000 dividend remains a bold, politically charged promise with significant economic and legislative hurdles. The overarching message is that economic control and political stability depend on Republican governance, with long-term implications for national prosperity and national security.

He actually just came out earlier today, the President of the United States, and announced $500 checks. This is for people who had registered for Obamacare. We're going to talk all about that. And he's got a big $5,000 promise. What's all that about? And can we afford it? I mean, what happened when we did that one. Oh no, forgive me. It was what, $1.8 trillion that we gave out with one Joe Biden? Somehow that. That didn't really make its way into the hands of the people now, did it? That actually made its way into the hands of some Ilhan Omar and her. Well, technically not her. That was just her program that she introduced, Feeding Our Future, made its way into her friend's hands. It remains to be proven whether or not she actually got any of it. Anyway, good to have you guys all here. Also, the President making some threats on PICSAC's mountain out in Iran, because apparently the Iranians can't take a hint. And they're really pushing. They're really pushing to try and mess things up for midterms. I don't think they're going to do it. And I think maybe this strategy might actually pay off politically. We can talk about the economic implications, but certainly the political ones are very, very good for Donald Trump. Today, $500 checks along with a $5,000 promise all breaking today. Donald Trump is sending checks to nearly 1 million Americans. And this is not just another campaign promise here. No, no, no, this is a big deal. This just happened. He sent him $500 in the mail. These checks are going out next month. $500 for a lot of people that had enrolled in Obamacare. Let's hear directly from the President himself out moments ago. Today, I'm very thrilled to make an important announcement on the cost of health care affecting hardworking families all across the United States. Our administration has discovered that under Sleepy Joe Biden, American households buying health insurance, through the Obamacare exchange, which is a disaster, and the healthcare.gov, were massively overcharged, to put it mildly. They were forced to pay excessive fees, totaling at least $500 million. The last administration knew about this, and they studied it, but they kept the money. They just kept it. They never let anyone know. Our administration is doing the right thing and giving the money back to the people who were wronged, who were wrongly ripped off. Nearly one million hardworking Americans in 30 states will soon be getting refunds of $500 each with a check sent to their home address. In many cases, these refunds will cover the entire spike in your insurance caused by Democrats who solely work to protect big insurance companies. The big insurance companies own the Democrats. Congress must now quickly pass the great health care plan, it's called the Great Health Care Plan. Okay, point is, the $500 checks would be going to people who had signed up for Obamacare and had actually overpaid. And so in this case, he's saying, wait a second, you know what, you can't just keep, the government can't just keep the money. It's actually got to go back to the people who paid more than they should have to begin with. And he points out that the previous administration was unwilling to do that. So again, $500 refund checks, approximately 1 million people who purchased Obamacare insurance through the federal healthcare.gov marketplace. And it's important, you know, this is just not going to go to everybody who had an Obamacare plan. To qualify, you're actually going to have to have enrolled in the federal exchange, healthcare.gov. And in one of those, well, healthcare.gov, not in one of the state-operated exchanges. And so you would have had to have purchased your insurance without receiving a federal premium subsidy. And then the administration, of course, pointing out that the Biden administration collected all that money, more than it needed, through these so-called user fees that they charged to insurance companies for operating healthcare.gov. And those fees were ultimately built into the premiums paid by customers. So according to the White House, basically $500 million in excess money accumulated in federal accounts. And so the president is now very straightforward. He's like, we're giving it back. It's your money. The government overcharged the consumers. The money doesn't belong to Washington. And thus he is returning it. And so those changes, those checks, $500, they're going to start arriving in October. And that's a big deal. And you're talking about states like Florida, Texas, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Arizona, Tennessee, about 30 states all in. Democrats, of course, and some healthcare advocates are saying this is just an election year gimmick. And of course, the timing is interesting, right? Because we're talking about checks going out in October right before the November elections. But if the government collected half a billion dollars that it wasn't supposed to collect, I'm just saying, you know, it seems to me that returning the money is actually entirely defensible. It's actually the right thing to do. And Democrats, they're going to sit around and say, oh, no, no, we get to keep it. I mean, that's a heck of a position, guys. I mean, I realize you're out on the ledge on a lot of things, but come on. You overcharge people and then you're going to keep it? The government should not be keeping it. It's not an unnecessary overcharge simply because returning it might be politically unpopular. Am I right? Am I right? Right? Meanwhile, here's another one. That I get is going to be a little bit more dicey. And that's a big, big promise. The president of the United States making a huge promise to every adult American. Wow. What we're doing is because we've done so well and because our country is making so much money that only I can make this promise to you. And here is my promise. If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, both of them, because of our economic, tremendous economic success, like in history we've never had anything like what's happening, but because of our tremendous strength and success economically, I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000. Oh, boy. Joe Biden and company, try and beat that. You know, they said affordability was an issue. Well, he's got a solution for it. Okay. I get it. Not everybody likes this. I get it. And we can talk about the pluses and minus. I will say this, like it's smart politics. It may not be smart economics, but it's smart politics. And of course, all of a sudden, what happened? The New York Times. The New York Times has become fiscalized. Fiscally conservative. I'm like, please, people. I mean, if this was Kamala out there, heck, they'd want 15,000. Kamala would be given 15,000. Why stop at five, for goodness sakes? $5,000 for every adult American citizen. So you're 18 years old. You are an American. You're getting five grand from the president. If the Republicans can keep both the House and the Senate, you know, for a married couple, that adds up to 10,000. Gosh, darn it. You got a kid in school, 15,000. Trump is calling this the. Trump dividend. And he says it's only happening, right, on the condition that the money must be spent in the United States. Well, you know, money is fungible, so that it doesn't quite work out so perfectly, but you can't take your dividend check and go up to Canada and splurge and have some Canadian whiskey and do some kind of, you know, camping trip. No, no, no, no, no. You're going to have to spend it in the U.S. Now, politically, all right, you understand the attraction here, right? We're all adults in the room, okay? So we can just, like, put a political lens on it. Of course, of course, the New York Times hates it. The New York Times that never met some kind of stimulus or handout that they didn't just absolutely positively love. I mean, welfare on steroids over there. They love it, love it, love it. What is the DSA all about and the socialists all about? More and more welfare, more and more money going to all these programs and going to all these people. Of course, the difference, perhaps, and I want to make this distinction, is that a lot of these big government programs just want money going to more government programs, right? Like feeding our future introduced in the States. in the state of Minnesota that wound up swindling people out of hundreds of millions of dollars, the government, us taxpayers out of that money. In this case, he's like, no, I'm just going to give it back to you. I'm just going to give it back to you to spend as you would like to spend. Again, politically, you understand the attraction because Americans have been battered, right, by inflation. And actually, inflation is much tamer. I know that sounds hard to hear. I know it's hard to hear. But it's actually a lot less bad under this president than it was under Joe Biden. Because under Joe Biden, well, you know, he had a little too much stimulus. Once again, it actually wasn't going to the hands of the people. It was going to all these ridiculous programs, right? And the next thing you knew, prices skyrocketed. I mean, you had double digit inflation, at least on the producer price index. You were looking at nearly double digit. We were up at like 9.6% one month. You know, you're like psyched if inflation only went up 6%. That was really bad. It was really bad. And it was like double whammy because it wasn't just the stimulus. It was also all the stuff that Chuck and Nancy put together and then all the stuff that the Fed was doing with the money printing. And so we were getting hit from every single angle. Much worse than actually what this would be. I get a kick out of the New York Times saying, oh, it's going to cost more than a trillion dollars. Yeah, it's actually going to cost like $1.2 to $1.4 trillion, if we want to be specific on the math, right? But housing, groceries, insurance, utilities, borrowing costs have all gone up. So this has been very hard on the average American. And so everybody remembers what it was like before COVID, before we embraced all this crazy stimulus, right? Under Joe Biden, we actually, you know, had a normal economy with not crazy inflation. The Fed would shoot for 2% to 2.5%. That's about what it was. And then all of a sudden, what do you know? The train, you know, left the station. It just kept going and going and going and they couldn't really stop it. And we still, to this day, have this leftover inflation. Again, nothing like we had during the Biden times. But everybody has in their memory, in their very recent memory, the reality of lower prices. And it's very hard to take the sticker shock that still, you know, I go to our local diner and it's like $17 from pancakes for pay. And I'm like, are you kidding me? Really? $17 for these pancakes? Like what is in these pancakes? Because I remember not too long ago, it was like seven bucks. So he's trying to put money directly into the hands of American citizens. And obviously, it's preferable to some kind of giant Washington spending package with all these grants and agencies and bureaucratic organizations with money that the voters never really see, but does drive inflation higher. And that's exactly what the rescue plan that Joe Biden came along with. Remember the American rescue plan for 1.9? Did I say billion? My goodness. Trillion, trillion, trillion dollars. That's how much it was nearly two. Okay. And the problem with Biden's plan was that only part of it went directly to Americans with those $1,400 stimulus checks. So you had hundreds of billions that's going to state and local government schools, expanded benefits, all these special subsidies and numerous other programs like Ilhan Omar's Feeding Our Future. In other words, what happened? Fraud. So Trump's concept is more simple. What he's talking about is getting the money directly to the very people that would benefit from it. And he wants to use the tariffs in order to do it. J.D. Vance actually outlined it. I thought very, very well last night. Listen to this. We've created a lot of prosperity. If the American people give Republicans another chance to govern, we're going to create more prosperity. And we want the American people to share in that prosperity. Again, we have for 40 years, my entire life, the basic bipartisan economic policy consensus is that it didn't matter if we shipped American jobs overseas. What the president has done is say that if you want to undercut the workers, if you want to ship American factories overseas, you have to pay a big fat tariff to bring that stuff back into our country. That's done two things. One, it's generated some revenue for the federal government. But more importantly, it's cost $20 trillion of new investment to come into our country. I don't think the dividend really is about Iran at all. I think it's about the American people and a recognition that when you create wealth and prosperity, we want all Americans to be able to participate in it. So you can get in on the sports action no matter where you are, including these places. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. Do you hear that? That sound, right? That means that summer's officially here. It means that grown-ups are going to be able to go to school. It means that they're going to be able to go to school. And grown adults just sprint into the street for a frozen dessert shaped like a cartoon. But this summer, Mint Mobile has a better treat. Every plan, including Unlimited, is $15 a month. And unlike ice cream, it won't drip down your wrist or look nothing like the picture. Does anyone have any cash? New customer offer for initial plan term only greater than 50 gigabytes may slow when network is busy. See terms. Starting a business can seem like a daunting task, unless you have a Shopify. I get that, right? In other words, you kind of owe the people something. You took all those jobs away, and now you have these tariffs, and you're collecting revenue. I think he's actually somewhat forward-looking. He might be looking at the overall revenue that he's projected to bring in over a certain time period when he's talking about $21 trillion. That's a lot, I mean, considering that it's almost the size of GDP. But interesting to hear JD's view on that. Of course, as I explained, media hates it. Media hates it because they hate Trump. So you have to try and look at this. I think fairly, and you know I'm fair, and so I'm not going to sit here and tell you it's perfect because I don't think it is. I think you have to be extraordinarily cautious and careful with stimulus programs and welfare programs, and maybe the one-time check, maybe it helps. I mean, there might be other ways to do it. But I get a kick out of suddenly the New York Times turning into some kind of fiscal conservative operation. Give me a break, guys. Give me a break. But basically, you're looking at, I don't know, $5,000. You're multiplying it by 240, 260 million people. So that gets you anywhere into a $1.2 to $1.5 trillion price tag, which is a lot of money, right? That's a lot of money. And I don't know how you really do that, especially when we're looking at $40 trillion in debt, right? Like, we get serious debt and deficits going on. And Laura Ingraham kind of brought this up. If you saw her interview with it last night, she's like, well, wait a second. Like, if you're so keen on this and everybody needs this money, then why not do it today? I think he can't do it today because he probably doesn't have the votes to do it today. And even if you have a lot of Republicans, you still got a lot of rhinos. I mean, do you see Rand Paul going for this? I don't think so. No way. Anyway, here's Laura. Why not just give the money now? If you have the money, why not give it now? Because they can't. I'll tell you what, because the Democrats can't do it because with them it's negative growth. With us, it's so positive. So we're taking in $21 trillion. Nobody, no country's ever taken in anywhere near that. It's four or five times higher than the next. All because of that beautiful word that you and I love more than most others, tariffs. Do you like, do you? So, look, if it's our money, like she said, why not give it out today? And he kind of, like, pivoted around that. I think the reality of that answer is he just doesn't have the votes do not forget, the president cannot wave a magic wand here, right? You cannot simply order the Treasury Department to distribute that kind of money. Congress controls federal spending. So Congress would have to write and pass the legislation. So that's why he wants all the Republicans elected. It's to give people a little skin in the game, I guess. So politically, yeah, this may be smart. Economically, we can talk about that. And we will talk about that for a while. I just want him to win, though, because if he doesn't win, we're going to have really serious complications. Because like I said, it wouldn't be a $5,000 check. It would be like $25,000. But by the way, it's not even going to go to you. It's going to go to all these silly programs, so all of Kamala-type friends can make more money. So even if the Republicans, think about it, even if they hold the House and they hold the Senate, it's still not guaranteed that you're going to get the $5,000, because fiscal conservatives are out there, and they're not going to really go for this. They're not going to approve a trillion dollars to a country already carrying $40 trillion in debt and running massive deficits, approaching $2 trillion. I mean, it's just not going to happen. I don't think Republicans could attempt to maybe get it through budget reconciliation, avoiding the need maybe for the 60 Senate votes. But reconciliation does not eliminate the political problem that you have. A narrow Senate majority means only a handful of deficit conscious Republicans could stop it. And the tariff revenue, it does not, solved the arithmetic. I'm sorry. I wish it did. I mean, the government is not sitting on an actual $1.2 trillion in tariff money that is just waiting to distribute. So unless Congress cuts an equivalent amount somewhere else, okay, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, most of this presumably would have to be financed through additional borrowing. And I just don't see that happening. I mean, maybe if you get all the Republicans in the House and Senate, you can start doing some cuts. And you can, I know he'll want to do this. I mean, he makes a promise he wants to deliver. He's all about that. It's very important to him. It's also very important to him that people have a little bit more cushion. You know, knowing him, as I do, it's he gets it like he actually, I mean, he's for somebody who's a billionaire and has tremendous wealth and has always had tremendous wealth. He actually understands the sort of kitchen table issues a lot better than a lot of people that don't have nearly that kind of money. Namely, a lot of Democrats, like Kamala Harris. So on top of that, you got inflation, right? Because we've been down this road before. And we've seen what happens. This would be a very large stimulus program and direct checks are I get it very powerful because people can spend that money immediately. So boom, it gets ejected, injected right into the economy. And that is part of the peel. But it's also part of the risk, right? Because don't forget what happened under Biden, mass inflation. You had the Fed in there, too. You had all those programs in there, too. It wasn't just the fourteen hundred dollar checks. But you did have Washington injecting enormous amounts of money. Into the economy. And then you have we're going through a little econ 101 more dollars chasing a limited supply of products. So a five thousand dollar payment to every single adult. What is it going to do? It's going to create similar demand surges, particularly with all the debt that we have rather than genuine spending cuts. So the five hundred dollar Obamacare refund, that's a real thing. And it's it's limited. All right. Like I want one friend texted me today. I can take the. Five hundred bucks, you know, like the five hundred bucks going out to people. It's limited. And you can say, wait a second, we have this money like we're sitting on this money. It should go back to the people. But the five thousand dollar dividend check that that's actually like a whole different animal. It's a major campaign proposal and it would require new legislation, congressional support. I don't know if he can get it, but he's going to try. And I'll tell you this. This is an important election. I just I can't really say. That enough. It is so important. And maybe he's thinking, look, it takes five grand to get people to the polls if that's what it takes. You know, heck, you know, we'll get the five grand together for each and every adult American that's voting and we'll get them to the polls. And if we win, then that is just the cost of doing business because the alternative cost was something else entirely. And that was something that was communicated in spades last night. This message is being made. Loud and clear. There is so much at stake, so much at stake right now because you got a group of Americans that want to take us hostage and turn us into socialists. That would be more costly than anything at all. You know, I liked the way Brandon Gill put it. He's the young congressman out of Texas from the Dallas area. Let's go to Brandon crystallizing the reality of what we're up against. We saw images. Every single day as millions of illegal aliens poured across our border, transforming American communities, taking American jobs, suppressing American wages, spiking American housing costs, overrunning American hospitals and schools and bringing drugs and crime into American neighborhoods. And Americans began to ask themselves, why don't I recognize my country anymore? And Democrats didn't just watch this happen. They facilitated it. It's not the truth, right? He's right. And so we're facing probably the most important election. I mean, maybe last time around, just getting Donald Trump in there was the most important election. But the risk now is that you lose all the momentum and we're at risk for this socialist extremist wing taking over. Democrat control of Congress is very scary. They've got a very progressive economic agenda, which is why, you know, you may be looking at this and saying, okay, $5,000 per American, $1.2 trillion. That is just the cost of doing business because we got to stay in charge. We got to keep the wheels on the bus long enough to get to the finish line, for goodness sakes. You got a lot of problems out there. I mean, heck, think about the fact that you had a Democrat, John Fetterman, out there last night with his surprise appearance. I mean, this is unheard of. This is historic. You've never had a Democrat show up at a GOP convention to tell you how great the GOP is and how great McCormick is. He's out there rooting for the other team. This is amazing, but it's coming down to the reality that the Democrats no longer represent the Democrat party, but they represent something else, something really perverted that is not good for this country. And it's because of the influence of the radical socialists that John Fetterman, a longtime Democrat, true blue, had to get out there, Big room of Republicans in Dallas. Yes, I'm Senator John Fetterman, Pennsylvania. Yes, I'm a Democrat. Why am I here talking to you today? Because, well, I'm a common sense Democrat. I'm always going to stand with America. I'm always going to reject the extremes and socialism and that anti-American way of life. Dave McCormick is the kind of senator that gets the job done, and he's going to fight for America. Pennsylvania, I'm proud to count him as my friend. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Okay. Like, I cannot emphasize what a big deal that is. Like, that is huge to have a Democrat senator appearing by video at a Republican convention and describing himself as a common sense Democrat who rejects all this political extremism and this anti-Americanism. I mean, here we are, right, on the anniversary of Charlie's death. I mean, here we are, right, on the anniversary of Charlie's death, which I'll talk about later in the show, but gosh darn it. On the anniversary of Charlie's death, a day before the 25th anniversary of 9-11, and you got a radical extremist mayor who has very little respect for New York City and very little respect for the United States of America, given that he's out there campaigning with the likes of Hassan Paikar, a guy who thinks that we deserved 9-11, who hates America, all of these people, the Mamdami disciples, they all hate America. One of the women talking about how she ran out of, one of his disciples that's running there for Congress, she ran out of napkins so she wiped her hands on the American flag. I mean, these are not the people that you want governing the United States of America. They hate us. They hate this country. And so when I think of what is the alternative, like why did he decide to do this? I think he figures, the tariffs, we got money coming in. We want to distribute that money. He likes the idea of that. And he's looking at how bleak it could be. And Fetterman's looking at how bleak it could be. So he's not going to become a Republican. I should point that out. Everybody wonders, is Fetterman switching sides? He's, no, I'm going to remain a Democrat. But he knows his party is so messed up. He's sufficiently concerned enough about what parts of the political left are doing and the direction that they're heading in that he is willing to stand up at a Republican gathering and publicly reject them and reject socialism. And so when Americans hear the word socialism, you know what, they should understand that this is no longer really a theoretical debate. It is not something that's just going on on college campuses. The Democrat socialists of America are out there actively organizing. They are actively recruiting. They got a whole bunch of candidates that are attempting to influence Democrat politics from the local level up. And sometimes, you know, you got to say this is going to be too much for us. Like this would actually break us. I mean, if you can imagine them breaking us, because yes, I can imagine, you know, some of them and then some of them I just kind of laugh at. There was a funny clip. Let me see if I have it for you. It was a funny clip that was going around. I think we actually put it on the shorts feed of these Democrat socialists because they're all just a They had this points of privilege. How do I say convention? Yeah, it was a convention. And they're all just I mean, I actually thought this was fake when I first saw it. So I had to run it down because I'm like, they can't be this idiotic. And actually, it would make you think, well, we don't really have to worry because there's such absolute idiots that they're not going to get anything done. I would say that, yes, well, the vast majority of them clearly are idiots that are too precious for work. In other words, you do have bad actors like Abdul El-Sayed, Zohran Mamdami, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, the woman who's running out in Colorado, who thinks that the entire problem with the US of A is that we have been taking advantage of the global south. And we need to have more people from the global south come and get to the United States of America so that they can run for office. And we need to have more people from the global south come and get to the United States of America so that they can run for office, so that they can change all of that. But you look at these weirdos out there at the DSA convention, and you tell me, I mean, I don't don't think they could find their way out of a paper bag let alone govern anything take a seat so that we can count when there's so many people moving around it's very difficult to count quick point of privilege quick point of personal privilege um guys uh first of all james jackson sacramento he him i just want to say can we please keep the chatter to a minimum i'm one of the people who's very very prone to sensory overload there's a lot of whispering and chatter going on it's making it very difficult for me to focus please can we just i know it's we're all fresh and ready to go but can we please just keep the chatter to a minimum it's affecting my ability to focus thank you thank you comrade okay is there a speaker against name chapter pronoun point of personal privilege yes please do not use gendered language to to address everyone okay oh my goodness we have a lot of disabled comments and a lot of those are invisible disability um first of all in this room i see that no one's clapping for me it could be because i'm not engaging but it also is because everyone's doing this and that's really important because those loud bursts of noise even though this is a noisy space when we can do something like reducing that that's really important so please don't clap shoot up these and additionally with the um the noise issue like avoid hissing avoid waving banners right you don't know what to do show up the right i'm sure there's lots of ways that we can communicate to each other without needing to rely on something that's going to hurt somebody else um we have quiet rooms that are available there's a range of options of these right on seven there's one that has video but no sound if you still want to be able to observe the convention but the sound is an issue there's also in piedmont eight a completely quiet room one thing to note there please don't go into that scary stuff because there's real scary stuff and when i look at zahan mamdami i see nothing but scary stuff and i see nothing but misery and i see nothing but probably the opportunity to take a great financial center and i'm talking about the financial center of the world new york city and i'm seeing him looking at destroying it because that's what would happen if his socialist policies come to fruition hopefully they get him out hopefully they do him from here into oblivion and they get him out now you know what it's actually healthy for me to meet somebody like mamdami out there because i never quite understood the level of vitriol that was directed at donald trump i still don't and by the way it's to qualify i don't think i could possibly i'm not recommending you know some of the things that those people recommend for donald trump right like let's be very clear that that's not that's not how we think or who we are certainly not who i am but i can understand not liking a particular individual in the political space i've never had such a visceral reaction to anyone other than mamdami but it's perhaps because i know what he represents and the dangers of socialism and left-wing ideology that would absolutely destroy this country as marco rubio pointed out marco rubio skipping the shindig in dallas and he's off on his south america latin america tour my goodness i mean every single day i look up and he's in a new country and he's making it very clear we're gonna take the hemisphere all these countries down here you're with us or you're against us you're with us or you're with china and you don't want to be with china and you don't want to be with cuba and you don't want to be with russia and you don't want to be with iran because we know what happens when left-wing ideology permeates these countries you have places like venezuela that go from the best economy in all of latin america with the highest standard of living to what they are today which is trying to recover from a period of starvation the bolivar was worth nothing absolutely nothing here we are let's take a look at marco here doing his thing on the latin america tour that the question was whether i was worried about left-wing groups or left-wing movements rising and and as a result of u.s policy left-wing groups have already been here and they've destroyed the hemisphere the left-wing destroyed venezuela the left-wing destroyed cuba the left-wing destroyed nicaragua the left-wing has basically destroyed every country they've gotten a hold of in the hemisphere not only have they done that here in ecuador as well not only have they done that in bolivia look what bolivia has suffered for 25 years because of left-wing governance on and in fact not only did these groups destroy these countries because of bad economic policies in places like ecuador and and in colombia over the last four years these left-wing groups are actually in alliance with these criminal narco-trafficking organizations they are outlined with them they are allied with them they permit them to conduct these activities and in a nefarious alliance between them so i'm glad that's being confronted and by the way these groups are not just threats to these countries they ultimately become threats to the united states i work for the united states of america and if a threat in this region is emerging to the national security and national interest of our country we are going to address it and what we're very happy about is that we can now address it in partnership with other presidents and other leaders in this region that feel the same way he nailed it he keeps nailing it i think he's trying to play hard to get because he's really um making it very clear there was even a report just yesterday that marco rubio is telling friends he has no intention of running that that is jd's spot come 28 so jd a lot of pressure on you it's going to not be so easy for jd because some of his how shall we say friendships that he has kept along the way and insists still on keeping i think that those are going to come back to haunt him in ways that might not be so healthy for the future and i think that's going to come back to haunt him in ways that might be so healthy for the party but marco rubio is apparently you know ducking out and there he was you know taking off for latin america doing his work i mean really doing his work while they were all out there at the big shindig in dallas which is continuing on right now donald trump making it really clear you got to get out there and vote you got to get out there and vote it's so important if not for the five thousand dollars right i know we're laughing about it but you know he must really want to make sure you get out and vote if not for that um if if for the fact that this is very important to all of our collective futures right if you don't have republicans controlling congress that is going to matter so much what are they going to do they're going to impeach him again impeach impeach impeach uh it's critical because you want republicans controlling the spending bills you want republicans in charge of the committees you want republicans in charge of the investigations and confirming key appointments you do not want the democrats in charge because then it's going to make it very very hard for the president to continue um his agenda in the final two years of this presidency so this is a battle right now and it's a battle not just over money and control of money it's a battle over a political philosophy are we going to remain capitalists are we going to remain the most prosperous economy on the planet or are we going to allow this perverted political philosophy that's clearly highly damaging to young people are we going to allow that to take over i mean tala rico who's trying to back away in texas because he wants to be the senator there from, you know, believing there's six genders. Yeah, he's backpedaling on that. Because he knows. That's actually not a popular opinion. But he holds that opinion. I mean, why are you going to stop at six, Jimmy? I think the BBC had something like 220 that they were offering up, 220 different genders you could pick from. You know, so I don't know where Jimmy Tallarico comes up with six, but now he's trying to back away from that. So it's economic, it's cultural, and it's also Iran. Donald Trump now predicting exactly when this war is going to end. We're going to get to that, but I'll tell you, if you get 5,000 bucks, you better invest it, okay? Promise me you're going to invest it. These are our top portfolios, model portfolios over at 76research.com. Go check that out when you get to a moment. We've had a lot of success there, and I'm quite proud of it, quite, quite proud. It's actually a company I founded with a longtime dear friend who's an amazing stock picker. And so we send out regularly, every week you hear from us in the 76 Report. And then if you are one of those holders of those portfolios, model portfolios, you hear every quarter, and we tell you anytime we're doing anything. If we're adding a new stock, if we're taking one out, we don't do that that much. We try to buy and hold, because I think that's a really important philosophy to have. It's very hard to time this market, but you want to get in sooner rather than later. Well, Donald Trump knows when this war is going to end with Iran. Here he is. We're going to find out. Mr. President. Mr. President. Oh, I think the war is going to end immediately after the election. I think the war will end immediately after the election. Because they can't hold out any longer. They're desperate to try and affect the election so that we can get a nice, weak group of people in there and leave them alone and let them have their nuclear weapon. All they want is a nuclear weapon. And if they had a nuclear weapon, the whole world is in deep trouble. Are you still hoping for a nuclear deal? Secretary Wright said a nuclear deal might not be on the table anymore. Is that true? No, I'm doing much more than a nuclear deal. There's a lot more than nuclear. We're going to have nuclear. That's 99.9. But there's going to be a lot of other things on the table that wouldn't have been on the table three months ago. What about negotiations with Iran? Do you expect that to be started? We're not going to have any negotiations with Iran. We're not looking for it, to be honest with you, Jeff. Originally, I wanted to make a deal. We're so far down the line. There's no deal happening with Iran. Let's be really clear. No deal. No, no, no, no, no. That is so not happening. The only deal that's going to happen is that we are going to pipeline our way all around them. If you missed that the other day, last week, I did a whole thing on three of the big pipelines, one that's kind of super secret because we're going to have to blast through a mountain there in Oman in order to get it. But this is like the Panama Canal all over again because we are just going to completely bypass the Strait of Hormuz. We don't need it. And if they get in our way, well, we're going to do a little bit more of this. You see this? Five tankers taken out by US military the other night, all five of them gone because they tried to fire on us. They didn't get us, although today we do have word that they damaged some planes in Jordan, but they were trying to strike some of our US military assets there in the Strait of Hormuz. And what happened? We fired back and they're all gone. Five Iranian oil tankers totally, totally destroyed. And you know what? There's more where that came from. The president saying today, or actually last night, that Pixax Mountain, a nuclear site there in Iran, is something that we have got our eyes on very hard and we're taking very seriously. And you might see a little bit more action. The five tankers, those all went away. Did they get us? No. CENTCOM saying, nope, nope, nope. We've taken out 10 Iranian tankers in the last week. They have not gotten any of our things. I mean, except today. And I just want to qualify this because it's new news that came in. There was some damage to some planes, apparently a plane wing in Jordan. So be aware of that. But for the most part, they're not getting near our Navy and we're taking all their oil barrel by barrel. I mean, they've only got something like 30 million as of this is, you know, I played the clip for you, Treasury Secretary saying the other day they had 30 million barrels left. And that's been cited not just by Treasury, but by a lot of research analysts as well. They had 30 million barrels. And so they had to make that last basically until midterms were over. As you heard the president say, how long is this war going to go on? They are they are scrambling in this last ditch effort to do something. And so they are holding on to that cash, except that every time they do something, we go back and we fire on their tankers and we take them out. So in that little escapade that just happened there, the little excursion, shall we say, the other night, guess what? We took out nearly 4 million barrels of oil, meaning they are down to 26 million barrels of oil right now. 26 million and counting again, because as Besson told us, 30 million was all they had. And that was on Sunday. The things we've done and what the president's done is fantastic sequence. I mean, it's fantastic sequence. It's fantastic sequence. It's fantastic sequencing. So we are running operation economic outcast right now. And this is the greatest economic isolation operation in the history of the world. We are going to asphyxiate this regime. Now we have the blockade. And because of the blockade, oil is not getting out. So there's probably only about 30 million barrels of Iranian crude oil left that China hasn't bought. So that means the blockade is out soon. And there will be no problem with China buying because they have no product. So the blockade is working. It's working like nothing we've ever seen. And the combination, you know, everyone says, oh, sanctions don't work. I can tell you, blockade and sanctions are one of the most powerful one-two punches in the history of economic isolation. Yeah. I mean, it's working. I mean, you know that prices are just collapsing. This is incredible to see. So the people are not very happy. And so we're hoping to see some of the people take up some arms and really, you know, start to put the pressure that they need to put on this administration to get them out. But I can tell you that 30 million barrels, basically, if you think about 2 million barrels being used a day that you're selling into the market, and that's what, you know, the IRGC is doing because they get to sell all this stuff right into the market. And so they basically put 2 million or so out there a day. So, you know, you do the math, that's 15 days, right? 30 million. And you've got 2 million you need a day. So you've got 15 days that you can survive. Now it's down to 26 million. So, you know, now you've got 13 days that you can survive. Well, that would only take us through, you know, the next couple of weeks. So basically you're looking at the end of September or close to the end of September, right? You got to make it through all of October and you got to make it into the very beginning of November because they want this to go on and to get worse and to get worse and to get worse so as to put that kind of political pressure onto the president. So again, as we started this show, we were talking about the $5,000 dividend check. I wonder if he's also looking at the pressure that's going to be put on oil prices. The upward pressure. And he's concerned about that going into midterms for what it means for prices at the tank. And so he wants people to know, listen, you stick by me, I stick by you. And basically it's going to be a wash because you're going to get the $5,000 check. That might be part of the thinking because he knows how hard it is for people. Anyway, they only have about a couple of weeks left in reserves here to go. And that was just drawn down on with our strikes on five different Iranian tankers. And then on top of it, they're talking about doing even more, even more. The president saying last night, given a hint here, this was pretty explosive that they're looking very hard at pickaxe mountain. There's another place called pickaxe mountain, another nice place. We may have to give him a shot there too, because somebody said there was a little movement at the site. We know exactly what's going on, but we noticed there's a little activity at pickaxe. I would advise Iran not to get cute because we will have to hit them very hard. Yeah, we will. Okay. So let's not get cute. I mean, Marco kind of said the same thing yesterday as well. You know, you guys do this and we're going to hit you back every single time. Can you speak about the U.S. strikes on the Iranian tankers and explain what the back and forth has been in the last 24 hours? Yeah, the back and forth is pretty straightforward. And that is that Iran continues to try to hit U.S. troops. And for every time they do that or try to do that, they're going to lose tankers. And I think you'll see that again today. Can you talk a little bit more, I know you've already addressed this in Spanish, but for the English speakers here, about the security cooperation? Something up. Okay. So it could be happening. This blockade is serious. The blockade is working. They can't get any oil out. Okay. So again, if you only have 30 million barrels and that's going to last you two weeks, you're going to have to do something. You're going to have to do something. And now you're down to 26 million barrels. That's going to last you 13 days or so. You don't have much of a future. there. So they want the blockade lifted. But hey, we've seen that movie before, right? It didn't really work. So we're not going to lift that blockade. They're going to have to continue struggling with higher inflation. The people are flipping out and you might actually just start to see some real big change. That's why it's so important to keep the same team in charge as we go past midterm elections. You know, the president can only do so much. Don't forget, we are set up as an executive. It's the executive branch. We get three powerful branches, right, of government. And you can't just rely on one branch. You can't just rely on the president. You have to have Congress. He's got to have the wind at his back. So this is a very, very important election indeed. I mean, not just what goes on in Iran, not just what happens in the economy. I mean, think about the coverage that we've seen in the media. I mean, we want Jimmy Kimmel out, right? But do we want Jelly Roll in? So now we know why Jelly Roll was so rude to the president. Now we know why he had all those jokes at the president's expense, or at least we think we know. So there's a New York Post report out that you may have heard about. I've told you all about it here on this show, that Jimmy Kimmel really is out and that the view really could be next. Well, let's turn that around for a minute. Because what if Jimmy Kimmel isn't the first domino? What if he's just the sacrificial lamb? What if he's the first domino? What if Disney is basically looking to take out its most controversial show, keep the view, and then put somebody else in, somebody else in Jimmy's spot? I mean, this could happen, guys. This could happen. Because you look at Jelly Roll, and he went on and he said all these ridiculous things on Jimmy Kimmel's show, and apparently got great ratings doing so. And so the producers might be thinking, hey, you know, Jelly Roll, he has some appeal with the conservative base. Sure, he ticked them off, but maybe we can get them back. They're thinking, hey, you know, is he a less nuclear version of Jimmy Kimmel? The late show, according to the New York Post, is going to be ending there at the Jimmy Kimmel ABC plant. Jimmy Kimmel's late night show is expected to come to an end in 2026. We're here with sources telling Page Six that the next. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLE. Start the season. The next season, this season is actually going to be his last. So you get to deal with him. If you can imagine, we're going to have to deal with him until May or something. Lovely. So I kind of wonder, they bring in this guy, Jelly Roll, who was somebody who was very popular with the Trump base because, you know, he's a country singer and he kind of seemed like he stood for some of the same values that a lot of the people that support Donald Trump stand for. And then. All of a sudden, he gets out and he does this dressing down of Donald Trump. Now, we talked about how the producers are all super left-wingers, how the wife is the head writer there on the Jimmy Kimmel show. And so she employs all the writers and she's the executive producer. So she looks after the team. Well, the team is very, very left. And so now they get Jelly Roll in, who's supposed to be like, oh, I don't know, popular with the right. I mean, he just wasted that because the right's like, yeah, you're dead to us. Okay. And now I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking at the ratings because he got decent ratings. I mean, that's not saying much because I guess Rosie O'Donnell also got decent ratings. And they're thinking maybe this is the guy that comes in. He said some really negative things about Donald Trump. And Rosie responded by saying, quote, I love this guy, Jelly Roll. Shout out to you. Back at you. You are killing this mister. I'm going to go have a jelly donut in your honor. You might want to skip that, Rosie. Just saying. So it's like, why did he get so mean to Trump? I think the base feels like totally betrayed. He's apparently losing hundreds of thousands of followers. And people are like, who are you? I'll tell you who he is. He's a guy who wants a job. He's a guy who wants a gig. He's a guy who wants to replace Jimmy Kimmel at the Jimmy Kimmel live show. I don't even think it's live. Is it? Don't they tape it at like three o'clock? Like it's not really even live. Anyway, I think that so Jimmy Kimmel, he's apparently breaking his silence, I say, as this report is revealed. Not totally, though. He's not totally breaking the silence because he's just staying more silent. So he goes on air, right? Like he's been hiding away in this little place, probably in L.A. or something. He's been on vacation for the entire summer. And he comes back. And instead of addressing the elephant in the room, which is that he's probably getting canceled. Instead, he decides to just tell a bunch of really stupid, silly jokes again. And so I look at it and I say, you know, the fact that he's not even addressing this is somewhat telling in and of itself. And I think that the producers are like, hey, you know, we could get somebody else in here who's not as problematic, who maybe the base supports a little bit. And then, you know, we're in better shape, right? We're in better shape. And then, you know, when he's not available, we can bring in Rosie for good measure. And then he's like, okay, we got all sides. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. I still will go back to this because this is the anniversary of Charlie's death one year ago. And this idiot, I never watch him, by the way, either. The only time I ever watch him is actually when he stirs up some controversy for some of his really stupid, bad jokes. And this was one of the big controversies. And I was just like, oh, man, like, how could you do that? How could you do that to this wonderful guy? Charlie was a wonderful guy with a wonderful family. He said, we hit some new lows over the weekend with desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they could to score political points for it. Wow. That was a pretty brutal, pretty awful thing to say. And it shows me that there's no empathy there. There's no sensitivity. There's no humanity. And I don't know how you can be a good comedian if that's how you think. You know, Charlie was taken from us way too early. He had so much more work to do. And I'm very thankful to him. And we're very thankful to him. And we're always be thankful to him because my young daughters discovered Charlie Kirk all on their own. And I've told you this story before. But if you're joining me for the first time, make sure you subscribe. And you're going to hear it again. Because one day ago, one year ago, on this very day, I was seated right here with you. And we learned together in real time that Charlie Kirk, my friend that I put on TV, some of his first, I think some of his first television appearances, I don't think it was the very first, but some of his very first, I used to put him on my two o'clock show that I had on Fox Business News 10 years ago. And I was like, this kid is amazing. Can we just keep bringing him back? And he'd always come back. And it's one thing in terms of my daughters for me to say, hey, you know what, you know, you really should think conservatively. And this is how mom and dad think. And they get enough of that. They hear us say, hey, you know what, you really should think conservatively. And they hear us talking at the dinner table and stuff. But it was entirely different when it was coming from Charlie. Because he was someone that wasn't that much older than them, that did such a great job defining what it means to be a conservative American. And so they're probably more conservative than me. I mean, they're like, whoa, way over on the right side. I'm going to get teary-eyed just thinking about this. And it's because of Charlie. Not because of me. No. Like, mom is not going to have that kind of power. I like to think I do. You know, I like to think, you know, and maybe your kids might respond to me, but my kids, you know, anything that mom wants, does, says, it's just, you know, you got to go in the opposite direction, right? But Charlie, wow. So I am forever indebted to him, not just for what he meant to this country, but for what he meant to my family. And he will forever be missed. I can't imagine what it must like to be Erica. She's got a lot of work ahead of her and that she has to, I think, remind people always of who he was because his legacy is so important. And he has so much footage. I mean, I'm running some of it today on our shorts feed for you because you just got to remember how extraordinary he was. And we're going to continue watching that for many many years to come charlie kirk rest in peace we miss you every single day thank you all for being here if you're just coming to the show please make sure you subscribe and i will be back here with you on the trish regan show again tomorrow big anniversary another sad day coming up i'll see you tomorrow fan duel is now available everywhere in the u.s so you can get in on the sports action no matter where you are including these places make this your most rewarding season ever with fan duel age and location restrictions apply product availability varies by market see fanduel.com for eligibility gambling problem call 1-800-GAMBLER you

Summary:

, allowing users to engage in sports betting nationwide.
