Traditional home security systems only alert after a break-in, leaving families vulnerable—SimpliSafe addresses this by offering real-time crime prevention through AI-powered cameras, live monitoring, and emergency response, with plans starting at just a dollar a day. A current 60% discount is available for new systems with professional monitoring. Meanwhile, the transcript delivers a sharp critique of political figures like Pete Hegseth and Ryan Higgins, accusing them of promoting regressive, anti-constitutional religious views that undermine the First Amendment. These views are linked to broader efforts to create a Christian theocracy, which the speaker sees as a threat to democracy and civil liberties. The discussion also highlights the importance of voter action, especially in countering policies that pardon criminals and suppress accountability, such as Trump’s pardons that erase restitution for fraud victims. Real-world examples like Alex Preddy’s murder—where government agents killed him and falsely labeled him a terrorist—are used to stress the need for justice and transparency. The narrative champions individuals like Angie Nixon, who resist misinformation, and emphasizes the power of public resistance in defending democratic values. Ultimately, the message urges citizens to vote against extremism, protect civil rights, and demand accountability from leaders who prioritize ideology over justice.

Pete Hegseth is a full-blown Christian nationalist, has zero respect for the Constitution,
and there is new reporting on Pete Hegseth's Office of Religious Affairs.
This is crazy town stuff. Pop this up.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's Senior Advisor on Religious Issues, Ryan Higgins,
has said the separation of church and state does not exist,
railed against the satanic. cult of LGBTQ.
Criticized gay adoption as buying babies, told women that no career will ever give you
the fulfillment you're looking for that can only be found from being a mother, and compared
abortion to the Holocaust, posting it was like saying Nazi concentration camps were
ethnic end-of-life care.
Sources say Higgins has played a role in shaping some of Hegseth's most incendiary remarks
on faith and religion, and is now a key player in the newly announced Office of Religious
Affairs at the Pentagon.
This is the second whack job that is in Pete Hegseth's orbit that has these archaic, regressive,
insane, anti-American views that are fundamentally antithetical to the Constitution.
So my messaging here is to all of the, I gotta vote my pocketbook, I'm fiscally conservative,
this is coming for your daughters, for everybody, they are serious about this.
And does someone need to explain to Mr. Higgins that there's a First Amendment in
this country that bars separation, church and state?
I mean, the Establishment Clause, maybe, I mean, can anybody educate this man?
You don't just get to say, "Hey, the Constitution doesn't exist.
We're not going to follow that," because that's what he's saying, and how is it that someone
like that can work for people?
You know, Pete Hegseth, wasn't he accused of assaulting his wife, or.?
He assaulted somebody and then paid her $50,000 hush money, all this allegedly, you know,
three wives, I mean, you know, all of them, every single one of them.
And excessive drinking, and it's like, it's like everything we talk about here is that
you can wave this wand and you can vilify gay people, you can vilify trans, you can
do all those things, yet you're the most awful, pathetic son of a bitch in the entire planet.
At the same time, you're doing it, you're preaching this family value culture bullshit
that they do, and it's awful, and then you're acting as if the First Amendment doesn't exist.
It's the First Amendment that allows you to be a Christian.
It allows other people, you know, exactly, and they don't get it.
You can practice whatever religion you want to in this country, or used to be able to.
They get it, and they don't like it.
Yeah, they just don't like it.
They know it, and they are fundamentally trying to change it.
And organizations like. Think Tank, the Heritage Foundation, and a lot of these Supreme Court justices are hellbent
on trying to make the United States a Christian nation.
And so they start gaslighting by saying, "There is no separation of church and state."
And Donald Trump is not a real believer in any of this, but of course, they're all like,
"Oh, he's our imperfect vessel."
But this is all. I'm showing you all this because it's all the more reason to go out and vote because
all of the stuff they tell you about Sharia law. They believe it.
It's just switch Islam to Christianity, and it is the exact same fundamentalist, whacked
out crap.
Religious fundamentalists.
It doesn't matter which religion it is.
If they're Mormon, if they're Christian, if they're Jewish, if they're Muslim.
Religious fundamentalists are whack jobs that want to govern in a theocracy.
And Tallarico is interesting.
He's kind of been an antidote to a lot of this because the central character of the
Bible, Jesus, was black or pretty dark skinned and a Palestinian and radically empathetic,
incredibly spoke out exclusively against the accumulation of wealth.
Yet all of these Republican Christians are all about. They have the Republican Jesus that is a capitalist that is cutting jobs, cutting wages, is this
real hard ass, right?
So Tallarico is kind of on the campaign trail, reminding everyone like my faith informs me
to not bully trans people and my faith informs me to lift people up out of poverty.
So obviously here you have the world's richest man, Elon Musk, who is obviously an idiot
because if you have a trillion dollars, Josh, you pointed out a couple of days ago on a
podcast, why would you give Ken Paxton 200 million?
I mean, that's just like, that's the only thing you can buy with your money.
That's right.
So Tallarico is going after Elon for meddling in the Texas election.
Let's play the clip.
Ken Paxton is funded by one dude.
Elon Musk wants our land.
He wants our water.
He wants our tax dollars.
He wants his very own personal United States Senator.
He is trying to buy Texas.
But on November 3rd, we are going to deliver a. We are going to deliver a crystal clear message to the world's first trillionaire.
Texas is now for sale.
After a full day of podcasting and covering the news, I crave my bed.
I'm dying to get into my bed.
I actually like to watch TV from my bed because I have a Casper mattress.

It just cracks me up how they're all like, "Ooh, Talafrico."
I mean, their insults on him is, "Talafrico hates Texas and Talafrico is going to kidnap
your kids and trans them."
Like grow up.
I mean, it's insane.
Yeah.
I love that guy.
The more I see him speak, the more I love him.
And you know, back to your earlier point, if any of these so-called Christians, if any
of them just acted just a scintilla like Jesus, just a little bit, then they might have some
credence in being a little bit arrogant about their religion.
But every one of those guys that preaches this bullshit is the biggest, biggest piece
of shit on the planet, and there's no other way to describe it.
I'm sorry I have to use those foul words, because they are.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Talafrico.
I mean, it's refreshing to see he and Ossoff are two guys right now that I really enjoy
watching, because if you follow their ads, they're hitting them hard.
And it's fast, and it's furious, and they're doing everything they can.
And I'm curious if Talafrico wins, where does Elon Musk pack up his toys and move to?
Maybe Florida?
Maybe go down there and get next to Trump in Mar-a-Lago?
Maybe hole up on the penthouse suite, take all your shit over there, get out of the hill
country in Austin?
What does he do?
have a store bought senator, he's not going to have a governor.
potentially. And that's a whole nother story. All these records that were released.
And that's super important. I'm glad you brought that up because I've heard reporting specifically
surrounding Stephen Miller, that a lot of people in Trump's orbit are worried that the presidential
pardon is not going to be as expansive as they want it to be, which leaves all of these people
vulnerable in state courts. And so if you have a governor, Greg Abbott, who is an ass kisser,
sycophant, piece of shit extraordinaire, he is going to make sure he is corrupt and helps Elon
and provide cover for Elon. But Ina Hossa, the female that's running, which we've had on the
podcast, she's fantastic. If she wins, if she pulls this out, this is so much bigger than all
the little issues that everybody bickers about in these elections. It's truly about the Democrats
need to be the party of law and order.
And we need to be the party that services all of the citizens. Elon Musk doesn't need servicing.
That's right. And I think what flies under the radar sometimes when we talk about pardons is
obviously a pardon doesn't doesn't cover any state crimes that are committed.
And we saw that with Trump in the state of New York and we saw that play out.
But Elon Musk, if the crimes that all of these guys have committed are endless and to think that they don't
reach the state level in which they violated state statute.
They all have. So if you have Democrats in power at the state level, you're going to be able to prosecute these guys.
OK, and then another one who is always just talking it to him with a smile on her face and dancing her way all across Florida is
Angie Nixon. And Angie Nixon is running for Senate there and she has been endorsed by Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders.
All the big Democrats are coming out and supporting her. She is about five to six points behind her opponent.
Ashley Moody, who Angie Nixon has called for Ashley Moody to be arrested because she stole $10 million from kids.
She's a fighter. People say, Senator or Angie Nixon, do you want to abolish prison?
She said, hell no, I don't want to abolish prisons. I want Ashley Moody to be in one.
And I love it. And so CBS, which has been taken over by Barry Weiss, who is a total fascist, does not believe in the First Amendment, believes in propaganda.
They don't want to abolish prisons. They don't want to abolish the Constitution.
They don't want to abolish democracy. They don't want to abolish it. this up. CBS did a tweet about Angie Nixon and Angie responded back and said, it's disappointing
to have to say this, but at CBS News, this is a serious failure of editorial reporting.
I clearly state in this clip that while I have not personally been to Cuba, I have spoken with
Cubans who have described it as a dictatorship, and I believe them. To claim I declined to answer
the question is categorically false. This is not journalism. It is misinformation. And you know
what CBS News did after she retweeted their misinformation with that tweet? They deleted it.
fighting back matters. Calling out liars matter. It matters. And we have let these people off the
hook, starting with Merrick Garland and then all the corporations and the law firms and the
universities and all the tech giants, everybody just capitulating to this. And here's Angie Nixon
in the state government in Florida running for a national race who took on CBS News and said,
you're lying about me and this is a disgrace. And they had to delete their tweet. And these
micro resistance things are just so important and they matter and they have a lot of weight behind
them and they have a lot of power. And I love it, love it, love it. And this reminds me in a sense
about Serbia. And when we talked about the election there, about how it was student led
and these people that didn't have much power, they all united. Well, that's true in this case.
The power of people when they unite and rebel is so important in a democracy, and it accumulates
the more people that do it.
And you see people like her, you see Representative Omar, who gave an interview after her house
was searched and about how she called out this administration for its blatant Islamophobia
and racism toward her and how she was going to fight it.
It's people that have courage like that to stand up in the face of adversity when you've
got the full weight of the federal government coming against you and you fight back you push
back you saw the law firms that wouldn't capitulate how they fought back and guess what they prevailed
the ones that didn't they're still left holding the bag having to kiss the ass of donald trump
and i just want to point out everybody that didn't bend the knee and went to court everybody that the
trump administration bullied when they went to court guess what happened they won in court
they won in court when you fight back and you're on the right side of history and you're fighting
for goodness and for decency and for facts most of the time you're going to win but if you keep
letting the liars and the crooks and the people who like to skirt the system like elon musk
then look we've created these monsters and so good on her and that's just i i admire the out
of this person florida please we've got to close this gap and get this woman elected and then here
Here we go. Trump's pardons, you know, he's profiting off of letting criminals off the hook.
And remember, the Republicans are the party of law and order. You know, we we got to be tough
on crime. The Democrats are so weak on crime. Trump is profiting from criminals. Pop this up.
Trump's pardons have erased over one hundred and nineteen million in unpaid restitution to crime
and fraud victims. Trump is preventing Americans that have been defrauded from getting restitution
because he has utter disdain for poor people and for your basic everyday man.
And so think about this. These are victims of someone's crime, of fraud. For example,
it could be bank fraud. It could be stocks. And you have a group of people that maybe invested
money and it was like a Ponzi scheme and their money's gone. And so all these people that are
out this money, we're counting on that restitution to be paid back. And, you know, they do things
like this and I'm in the criminal justice system up front and I'm in federal court and I've had
bank fraud cases and I've seen both sides of this. And I see that it's devastating to victims.
You know, for example, if you had a pension or you had all your money in an investment firm and
they invested it or they defrauded you for it and you're out your life savings, $100,000. Well,
the person would be charged with a crime. They would go to court. If they pled guilty,
there would be an order by the judge for them to have to repay you the amount of money that you
lost. And you would count on that. That used to mean something. You know, all the victims of Bernie
Madoff and such. I mean, and so for him to go in and do that at the same time, you know, maybe we
should call J.D. Vance and ask him what he thinks about that now that he's the fraud czar. Isn't he
the fraud czar? Yeah, he is the fraud czar. Yeah, let's talk to him and say, hey, what do you think
about your boss just basically waiving all of this money, all of this restitution for these
victims of crime? What do you think about that? He's profiting and he's taking money. He's received
money for these pardons. In exchange for the- He's personally profiting for it. And then he's
fucking over the Americans even more because this guy likes to do it. And the weirdest thing about
the whole MAGA movement is 20, 25% of them dig it. They're like, humiliate me, Trump. Humiliate
me. Look at his cabinet. I mean, Trump just humiliates them. Yeah. Let's say that he gets
paid a million dollars for a pardon that will then go in and fuck a bunch of victims out of
about $3 million. And look at that the whole time. Then he goes out and gives speeches about how he's
anti-fraud. And by the way, I'll give you a million dollar fraud reward if you can give
me information about interference. I mean, just does this stuff. It's so insane. And the Republicans
sit there and allow it. These people, Senator, what's his name? Thune. He sits there and allows
it. Every single Republican that has allowed this bullshit and has sat with their lips zipped
for these two years should never be taken seriously ever again. We should erect a fascist
contributor fascist collaboration museum and etch all of their name into stone so that they are
forever there these are the cowards that zipped their lips locked it and threw away the key
because they were too scared of an 80 year old bisexual that wears a full face of makeup and is
barely awake half the time don't forget the diaper and his diaper and it gets worse this is the stuff
that's just so heart heartbreaking so alex preddy was murdered by the united states government and
then he was called a terrorist and all of these things everybody that worked with him he was an
icu nurse he was a really an incredible person a good citizen a good neighbor a good co-worker
Most importantly, he was a really good son.
And his mom is calling for prosecution
over her son's murder.
Let's play the clip.
- So government went on TV and lied about Alex.
They tried to slander his memory to cover up their crime.
Not only was it wrong, it was shameful, unfair,
we want the world to understand who alex really was
we want our sons killers brought to justice once and for all this is just this is where we get
into the just most disgraceful stuff there's the the money and the transaction of all of the stuff
that this regime does but then there's the cruelty and this i think just branches over to the stephen
Miller-led portion of the executive branch. And these people are such psychopaths that I think
they start frothing at the mouth with excitement that stuff like this happens. I think that the
whole exercise in Minnesota was to try to prime the public to become accustomed to living in a
militarized state and also prime the people that work in ICE and work in Homeland Security and our
police officers to turn their guns towards American citizens. And I just want to throw
this in here. The family values Christians. And I saw a bunch of priests in the White House about
five days ago, Catholic priests, praying over Donald Trump. And I've seen a bunch of evangelical
pastors in there praying over Donald Trump. And this is the kind of stuff that they're supporting
in the name of their faith. You don't get to, when a government starts,
doing stuff like this. And this is before we even get to children going to represent
themselves in front of a judge that are three, that are toddlers. I mean, it is such a massive
part of this that we cannot let these religious leaders and these Republicans and the more
buttoned up and respectable they act, in my opinion, the worse it is because they definitely
know better. And they are letting this happen. And they're letting this family,
their children suffer. And there's been no investigation into this. They have treated
this much like the Catholic Church has treated the child molestation cases. They have taken
these murders and just simply transferred them to another position where they are able
to be trigger happy like this again. And this is the stuff that I think is just the biggest
moral failing of it all, is the lack of empathy for human beings.
Yeah. And this is the kind of stuff you hear about that just makes you mad. I mean, that
just pisses you off. That takes you to another level of anger. So think about this. In this
context, a mother and a father have to get on TV to try to clear their son's name, who
was murdered by government agents, murdered in public by a government agency that failed
to conduct any kind of meaningful investigation to provide any answers to the family as to
what happened and exhibit any accountability for their conduct, none. And not only did
that happen, but at the same time that happened, then the federal government, the one that
we look up to, the one that we used to respect, goes on a social media spree talking about
how their son was a terrorist. And this happens in your country, that you grew up, that you
took the Pledge of Allegiance as a kid, that you believed in. You see all this happening
in this country and you hear this shit and you think, "How does this happen? How does
this happen to an innocent mother and a father?"
It makes you want to go crazy. It makes you want to take to the streets. It makes you
want to grab Pete Hegseth or whoever, all the ICE agents, Kash Patel, all these people
that are in on this thing, Mark Wayne Mullen, all of these people and say, "Who the fuck
are you people?" And make them be held accountable. When Democrats go vote, make them investigate
Alex Preddy's murder and make them be punished for it. A pardon for these agents is not going
to cover a state court murder charge, period, end stop. The state of Minnesota can file
murder charges anytime they want to, but the government has concealed any kind of evidence
or meaningful investigation. So go to the polls and vote so that there's accountability
and consequences for these assholes that are running wild on the street. That's the only
recourse we have right now.
Very well said. And just think of it like this, everybody. The best of us have to turn
out in droves to defeat the world.
The worst of us. And I believe in my heart of hearts that there are so many more Americans
like all of us here in this community. I believe that the majority of us are morally outraged
by not only the financial lies and thieving and dicking over people that aren't getting
restitution, but these immigrants that are in detention centers right now that came over
here that had a dream of America.
And I believe there are more of us that are mortified and want justice for these families
of people that have been killed by their government. And I just want to say this. The one thing
that I grew up learning was that we are a nation of immigrants. And if you look at our
history, that's we are a nation of immigrants. I want to continue being a nation of immigrants.
I'm tired of the muddying up of that and demonizing immigrants. I mean, I live in New York City
now and the city is just full and vibrant and it's full of immigrants and it's beautiful
and it's harmonious and it's everything that Fox News and all of these people say you should
be scared of. And it's not scary here. It's mom Donna Stan and they're trying to take
on big business. And guess what? It hasn't tanked the economy. Real estate sales are
surging and it's just there is an antidote to all of this. And it is all of us coming
together and not a bunch of white people cooking up a lot of bad ideas because that's basically
what this MAGA is. And when you get a room full of white people together and they start
cooking up a lot of bad ideas, this is the shit that starts happening. Final thoughts,
Josh.
I want to say it's all coming together after these son of a bitches are in prison. We can
all come together after these people are put in prison. Then we can hug and get in a circle
and sing and do that kumbaya stuff. But it's after these son of a bitches suffer consequences
for this conduct.
I like it. I like it a lot. All right. Please make sure you've ordered my book,
Not Today, Fascists. It's a great read. I talk a lot about Christian nationalists and
so and their link to this pathetic orange buffoon that is our president. And make sure
you subscribe here. We'll be back in the morning with more news.
