Trump Hit By Disaster in Iowa as His Nightmare Gets Worse

Tammy saves money by shopping at BJ's Wholesale Club, where she finds discounts on groceries and gas, and the brand promotes a limited-time $20 membership with savings. The broader discussion critiques political rhetoric, especially from Republican figures like Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, and Tim Scott, who make false or inflammatory claims about opponents—particularly targeting Muslim candidates—using religion and race as tools. The speaker argues this reflects a larger strategy of fear-mongering and disinformation to manipulate public opinion. They highlight concerns about political loyalty in federal jobs, where the State Department allegedly screens staff based on Trump support, violating federal anti-discrimination rules. Voter suppression tactics, such as door-to-door checks and threats of election crimes, are also condemned. The segment warns that disinformation, including AI-generated images of ballot fraud, could erode public trust in elections. Ultimately, it calls for civic vigilance, urging voters to participate to protect democracy and ensure fair outcomes, emphasizing that political manipulation and intimidation are not just isolated incidents but part of a systemic pattern.

Just another day in America, Donald Trump sides with a pedophile. Is that a surprise? No, it's not. Kylie, will you play the clip? He must take that ad down immediately. He must. No. The mother is calling the daughter a terrible person and a liar. Everybody should be so lucky. Why would you shield somebody from that? Why would we do that? So I told him, leave it up and look upstairs and say, Thank you, God, very much. I appreciate it. Joining me in studio this morning is Charlie. We're filling in for the ladies. Charlie, what's your take on this? We are less than two weeks out from one of the most important midterm elections that we've ever fucking had. And the Republican closing message is we are going to go to fucking war for pedophiles and rapists. Do you understand how fucking crazy that is? Like, that is their strategy right now. This is. It's not just their strategy. We have to remember, this is their legacy. Whether it's Donald Trump saying these things, defending these people, or whether it's J.D. Vance being out on the campaign trail where protesters are calling him pedophile protectors and he's laughing in their faces. That's right. This is who they are. These people are building a brand and saying to their voters that the most important message they have, the only thing they have to stand on before these midterm elections are that, well, at least we can protect child rapists and pedophiles. That's all they have. Just saying. How awful of a fucking human being do you have to be? And this is our president. This is the guy that was elected by 77 million people. He's a 34-time convicted felon who's been found guilty in a civil case for sexual abuse. And he gets down and doubles down on this shit. And this is the leader, the guy that we look up to. And he does it time and time again. It's like there's no bottom that he can't get beneath. Yeah. I mean, you've mentioned how bad of a person do you have to be. Let's remember. Let's remember who Vivek is, right? Vivek was somebody who, just months ago, let alone years ago, the entire Republican Party hated, right? Chris Christie called him the most obnoxious blowhard in America. Nikki Haley called him scum. Dan Crenshaw called him a con artist. Fox News called him an embarrassment. And yet now, they're all having to defend him, right? And to me, it perfectly demonstrates and represents the rot of the Republican Party and what they keep having to do. They typically, sometimes, actually do a decent job of calling the rot out. Calling the disgusting actors out. And then, those people build power. And then, all of a sudden, they have to go to war and protect those people. And does that ring a bell? Does that sound like Donald Trump to you? Maybe. Somebody who Republicans hated, who J.D. Vance called a Nazi, and now has to defend all the time. This is what Republicans do, and this is the perfect, perfect representation of that. And they've made crystal clear that it just simply isn't a deal-breaker to molest children. Yeah. It's just not. I mean, how crazy is that that we even have that conversation? But I want to take us to another lunatic in the Republican Party. Tim Scott was on stage last night and made some various comments about Abdul El-Sayed. Kylie, can you play that video for us? Abdul El-Sayed! There's a guy whose family, his mother was a part of the funding apparatus for Osama bin Laden. So this guy just gets up there and says this shit. That's not true at all. Charlie, what do you think about that? People need to remember what you just said. It's not true. There's not an ounce of truth to this. This isn't just like a conspiracy theory where maybe there's nothing even close to reality in what he's saying. I think something we should also remember is that there are other countries where there are laws in place that if you are an elected official or a politician running for office and you get caught lying, you can get fined. You can go to jail, right? So it's only in this country that this exists. Something to keep in mind too is that Tim Scott, before he said that, went on stage and opened that speech by saying that he truly believes that God chose Donald Trump to represent our country so even him, he understands that they're talking down to their own audience. And they love to thread the needle with religion. That's how they sort of hook everybody in. They feel like they can lie with impunity if we do it in God's name. Which is hysterical to me because that's exactly what they're trying to weaponize against somebody like Abdul El-Sayed. It's his religion, right? The entire reason they do this is because he's Muslim, is because he's brown. It's not just Tim Scott. It's not just Donald Trump. We have. Senators like John Kennedy who's saying that he goes to sleep in a bin Laden jersey, right? We have Republican pundits echoing that constantly. And I will say, it's not always just the Republicans here. There are Democrats who are also guilty of this too. If we remember in New York in the mayoral race, in the election, there was a super PAC, a disgusting super PAC that was supporting Andrew Cuomo who ran ads that darkened the face of Zoran Mamdani and lengthened his beard for the same political outcomes. They want a fear monger. They want to make people feel bad. They want to make people feel that these people are terrorists, that they're part of the Muslim Brotherhood, that they will kill you and your children. It is the most disgusting component of Republican slash moderate strategy. And we need to, as media figures, as commentators, everybody, we need to call this out for what it is. And that's not even getting to the fact that if you peel beneath the surface, you see that it's Kushner who's meeting with the Saudis, who's being funded with all this Middle East money, or who's negotiating a war with. with Israel and Iran and making money or has backdoor deals with Russia when we're supposed to be an ally to Ukraine. I mean, there's all these other threads to it with shit like that. I mean, it's just embarrassing to see that guy and say what he says. And with BJ's Wholesale Club, BJ's gas, she gets there for less. Home of the Save. Open soon. BJ's, home of the Save. I want to switch gears a little bit. And we saw some reports yesterday about the State Department. The State Department has started asking career diplomats up for promotion if they voted for them. They voted for Trump in '16, '20, '24. Federal law prohibits politically-based hiring for career staff. State tells Washington Sun it's screening for fidelity and execution of the President's vision. Well, what do you think about that bullshit, Trump? - Yeah, let me speak to this as somebody also who doesn't just have fucking opinions on this, but worked in the federal government, right? For people who don't understand, there are two kind of components to the staff that go into federal agencies. There are what we call career staff, and there are what we call political staff. Career staff are the people who are there for their careers. They're not there to serve a political administration. They serve the role. Think like TSA, think like mailmen, right? And then there are political staff. That's what I was, the people who get brought in to serve the President, to serve the administration, to help push the message and the policy. Imagine what they're doing right now. Let's take this to the most fucking extreme version of what it is. Do you want your mailmen to only be able to deliver your mail if they voted for Donald Trump? Do you want the TSA agents at your airport that's already fucked to only be able to work there if they supported Donald Trump? Do you know how insane that is, how crazy that is? And again, I'll also add, this is what fascists do. This is the strategy. They make you question the government. They make you distrust the government. And then when you distrust the government, they inject their own cronies into it to serve their political purposes. This to me is one of the most disgusting things that they're doing. It's flying under the radar. And again, just think of the government workers that we all rely on. At the VA, if you're a veteran, do you want it so that your doctors have to be doctors who voted for Donald Trump? I don't think so. TUCKER CARLSON: Well, in fact, just the opposite. I want to know that you didn't before I want you to even do anything with me if you're a doctor or any kind of person in government. But of course, with everything in the Trump administration, it flies in the face of-- it's illegal. All this shit's illegal. There are statutes on point that bar any sort of personnel practice based on uh your party affiliation like you just simply can't do it it's not an accepted practice but they don't give a shit about that because nobody cares if something's illegal or illegal if there's a statute on point or not on point but it's their way of trying um you know they know that all this stuff that's going on within government is illegal they all the stuff that kushner all the stuff that don jr the trump wickoff all of these guys all everything they're doing is illegal and so they want to quiet the noise they want to keep it from coming out by installing yes men all across the board they also just don't give a shit about the rules right i think like this is something we all should always keep in mind is like this isn't about some long-term strategy or whatever it's that they think they're above it donald trump has spent his entire career pre-government fucking over workers fucking over laborers going to war against black children and black youth right he thinks that because he has hacked his way through the system originally using daddy's money that the laws and rules do not apply to him well guess what brother they do um and now that you're in the federal government and your family's in the federal government um there are rules in place to protect americans there are rules in place to protect us um and so that's what this is it's just that they they're aware of the rules they're aware of the regulations they don't they just don't give a shit and i think all of this highlights the fact that democrats have to get out and vote for us to have any kind of meaningful oversight in in either the house or the senate with everything that this administration is doing on a day in and day out basis and and speaking of corruption uh my favorite todd blanch uh trump's personal lawyer who assisted him in 34 of his felony convictions um gave an interview yesterday about doj and whether or not they would interfere in the election certification and kylie will you play that clip and from the justice department in terms of certification process of states is there any scenario in which doj would weigh in on the that certification process or trying to block states i mean is there any scenario yes of course there's scenarios that we could all come up with hypothetically and you know some doomsday scenario for example right so i don't think it's proper to um to make any kind of conclusory statements about what's going to happen in the future because i have no idea what's going to happen in the future it is not doj's intention to and it's never our intention to improvise properly interfere with elections or the state confirmation process or certification process but you know to say that there's no circumstances that we would ever do that of course i'm not going to say that so he plants the seed there uh to for doj to to become involved in this process after the election and you can see that and and todd blanch i think he's a a pathological liar i think he lies at will i think he'll say and do anything on behalf of donald trump i have no faith that he would exhibit any level of integrity and restraint and follow the rule of law you know day in and day out in courthouses across the country the department of justice is being accused of defying court orders and that used to be something that we thought of as being impossible not the department of justice the level of lawyers they have and the integrity that those prosecutors have well now it's completely shifted it's known that doj uh will pretty much defy anything a judge tells them to do and so put that in context of this election uh what is todd blanch willing to do for donald trump if donald trump loses uh his majority in the congress uh in the senate and the house what what is he willing to do uh we don't know the answer to that question but what do you think about that yeah um that's all exactly right i mean i think something to think keep in mind here too is we talk a lot about trusting our institutions and i think a lot of people think about oh well you're like oh yes this is scary and these people are saying these things but we have these institutions and these systems in place to protect us todd blanch is the system todd blanch is the institution and again this is what fascist governments do they attack institutions institutions are made up of people they remove the people and they inject their own people into it and that is how institutions crumble um you know like you said he's laying the groundwork here he's not necessarily saying out loud that they're going to do this but what they're continuing to do and they're going to do is continue to sprinkle in the possibility that something happens that something goes wrong that uh oh counting the ballots got screwed up screwed up by democrats or something and you got to remember to the audience listening if you can't just be careful in the next two weeks or less than two weeks through election day when we're listening to this this fear-mongering by them about about election integrity it's going to be the days after the election too right remember some of our states take some time to count votes and we know what republicans do we know what trump does they will use that time between election day and the final count being or the final votes being counted to say to tell you and tell us that it's not working the system is breaking democrats are cheating the votes are being stolen and i need you all to remember and communicate to your friends and your family this is the system working the system is absolutely working and just like todd blanch here is laying the groundwork for for for for questioning the integrity of these elections we are already seeing a lot of mis and disinformation online visually um ai generated imagery that i think we all need to be careful of of fake images of people stuffing ballots into mailboxes of people burning ballots and stealing ballots we need to be super careful with what we are consuming and what we're sharing right now because i'm not saying this is one part of a singular conspiracy theory but it's all working towards the same goal which is to make the americans question whether this is whether the systems are working or not have faith in these systems do not let them scare you out of it and do not let them scare you out of voting and and part of the reason for that is that republicans don't want the american people to vote because if they do we've got numbers on our side we'll win if we do that and why is it they're so fearful of that because they know that their policies don't work they know that if the people the the full vast amount of american people if their will was followed they would vote democrat and so what they try to do is suppress vote and you see a lot of voter intimidation like i saw a report that you had uh homeland security agents going door-to-door to check citizenship of people and whether or not they're properly registered and i think some lawyers had to go to court to to get that stopped but there the we also had reports that the fbi and or doj contacted various state election boards in advance saying that if you don't follow the law you know we'll charge you with a crime with election interference and so there's all these intimidation tactics to try to keep people from either going to the polls or threatening them in respect to following the will of this administration and it's going to be really interesting how this plays out because i think there's going to be a huge turnout for democrats i think that it's going to be so vast the question for me is not that but it's going to be does the trump administration and do the states allow the will of the people to be heard does democracy win or do they cheat and do they keep the the balance of power in their favor and that's going to be a big point and then what will establishment democrats do exactly what happens exactly are we going to write strong tough letters and be mad or are we going to raise hell and go crazy because that the latter is the only option like to deal with these kind of people we know what they would do right if the roles reversed um but what are we willing to do and that's something to think about because i think that's the road that we're headed down coming up in a few weeks so it's very very important that everybody turn out and vote and not leave any margin of error for them to say that we didn't win these elections that's all we have today thanks for joining us we're filling in for the ladies i appreciate you being here charlie please subscribe and like everything on the channel do all the things
