Donald Trump has canceled multiple in-person campaign events, prompting criticism that he is avoiding public appearances due to poor health, incoherent speeches, and mounting negative attention. Critics argue his physical and mental decline—evident in his appearance and behavior—exposes serious incompetence, especially during high-stakes political moments. This is compounded by concerns over military actions, as Senator Chris Murphy reveals plans for strikes on Iranian civilian infrastructure, which could lead to catastrophic escalation. The U.S. military is now training for mass casualty burial operations, signaling a dramatic shift toward war. Trump’s racially charged remarks, particularly about Black and Jewish communities, are condemned as anti-Semitic and racist, with a noted double standard in media coverage. Democratic leaders, including Senators Sanders and Booker, respond by calling out the administration’s policies as damaging to democracy and human rights. Booker’s refusal to endorse a progressive candidate, despite his political platform, is seen as a failure of leadership. The overall narrative portrays a dangerous combination of military escalation, racial hostility, and political cowardice, urging voters to demand accountability and ethical leadership in the face of rising authoritarianism and war risks.
So Donald Trump has canceled all of his in-person events running up through the election on Tuesday, or a reporter just asked him about it, and he lost his friggin' mind. Kylie, roll the clip. - I can't just have stuff to do with you. You can take the drama, you're sick. It has to go on. Third one, six. Who you with? I'm a reporter, sir. You are a sick guy. I'm a reporter, sir. I'm a motherfucker. When you look at this guy's way out of shape, look at how badly he comes to me. Sir, you're not gonna go to Kansas. I'm not going to Kansas because he's doing very well. You're gonna do a tell-around. Tomorrow, I'm doing Florida. He said, "What's the reason after doing what 28?" He says, "What's the reason for this, sir, that you're not going to Kansas?" You know what the reason is? I don't feel I have to go to Kansas. I'm going to Florida tomorrow, and I'll do if something else comes up, but he said, "You're not going to Kansas, sir." Are you feeling well? You've been following me for two weeks. I feel perfect. You're disgusting, put yourself in shape. You look like hell. I'm Charlie, people online call me Shay Chuk. We're filling in for the ladies today while they're out. I'm here with Josh. Josh, as Donald Trump, says somebody else looks sick while he looks like a melting piece of chicken fat. What do you think about that? Is it any surprise? Maybe that he's ducking and running at this point because he has been the Democrat's greatest asset for the past two weeks. He gives these rallies, he sounds incoherent, talks about men's body parts. They attempt to fill up high school cafeterias, basically in gymnasiums and nobody's going. So it makes perfect sense that he doesn't want to, doesn't want to appear in public. I mean, it's kind of embarrassing. I think all of us, from where we sit on the Democratic side, we see that when he gives these speeches at these rallies, it exposes his incompetence. It exposes the fact that this man is our commander in chief and he's so far gone and has no business making key decisions about this country. And so I don't see this as a surprise. I'm sure some of the Republicans higher up made a point to tell the White House, hey, we don't need this guy on the campaign trail. He is a liability. He is not an asset. And so he's just providing cover for himself. Yeah, and I'm sure it doesn't help him and helps us, but it doesn't help him that the fact that every rally he attends now, there's one to five protesters in his ear, calling him a pedophile. I'm sure he doesn't like that. He doesn't love that. And the reality also, I'll remind folks, is when he calls somebody else on healthier unfit, we're talking about Donald Trump here, right? This man is supposedly being held up by stints on his legs. We can see it through his suit. He falls asleep at meetings with cabinet secretaries and staff. He takes his golf cart everywhere when his staff has to walk and run. This isn't a shame, anybody, but the idea that he is calling somebody else sick is absurd to me. And you know what you talked about him being our commander in chief. The responsibility of a commander in chief is to protect our troops. It's to protect democracy. It's to protect our country. So I want to shift over to another story here, which is our Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy, talking about some things he heard from the Trump administration officials about our future role in Iran. Kylie, can you play the clip? These briefings, we did get the chance to have a fairly detailed conversation about what the war plan would be. If we restarted military operations, you've heard a preview that it would be a short duration plan. I will just say this, their plan is insane. It will lead to devastating escalation and the likely destruction of our commitment to the rule of law. Can you say more? I mean, there's been open reporting as to what we may be planning in the civilian infrastructure that we may be targeting. I think the plan-- they've been asked by the president to develop a plan, whether they believe it. It will work or not. I do not know. But the plan that they have developed will lead, in my view, to a pro-longment and an escalation of this war that will be devastating for our security interests. My makeup drawer is full of products. US strikes on Iranian civilian infrastructure. That is Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut. He sits on the committee of foreign relations. He hears things before we hear things. Josh, what do you think? I was terrifying to me. I mean, to hear him say that. We've seen the mental capacity of Donald Trump on the campaign trail. We just talked about that. And that this person has control of our military, control of the fate of the young soldiers in our military. And we're in this war. We're in this war with Iran. Does anybody know why? Is it because Netanyahu's pushing Trump's buttons? Of course, we know that's true. But we're in this war. It's getting ready to escalate. It's kind of like he says, hey, we've got elections this week. So I can't go bomb a bunch of people, a bunch of innocent civilians. But I'm going to wait until next week, because presumably he owes Netanyahu something. Nobody else can explain why we're there, why we're doing this. It's the most unpopular thing right now. It's a very unpopular war. I mean, if my sons were to go fight over there, I couldn't articulate why in the hell they're there. Why are they risking their lives? And then we see him, fire general recently, who's in charge of strategic planning for the war. And that's not even getting into the fact that we've got this dip, yet Pete Hexath, that's second in command under Trump, presumably calling the shots. I mean, this thing is a disaster. And it's unfortunate for our country. And it's terrifying for all of us. Yeah, I mean, you said it's unpopular. Let's think about who this war is quite popular with. Oil executives, Donald Trump and his family, right? Let's remember, Americans have, on estimate, spent $100 billion more on gas since this war started. That's over $500 per family. Donald Trump just last week talked on stage, proudly, that as Americans are suffering at the pump, that him and his cronies are making more money than they've ever made in their life. And I want to bring up one more point about that. And we reported recently, Jared Kushner has, or owns a business that invest in nine different companies that supply weapons and other services to military contracts for the country of Israel. And so, and then we've also reported recently that the ties between Kushner and Netanyahu based on that vanity fair story. So there are all these financial hooks that are involved in why we're going to war. None of which have to do with what's best for the American people. It's about enrichment like you pointed out for the Trumps, their cronies, their family members, all of it. Yeah, and let's think about, again, the order of operations with how this worked before the war. If we don't talk about a lot, which is that big oil executives, lobbyists, their allies in DC went and met with Trump. They fought to roll back fuel efficiency standards. They fought to ensure that cars in the US had to start using more and more gas again. And then we went to war. Gas prices soared. We all got fucked and the oil executives and Trump made a shit load of money. You know, you mentioned that your sons would not be getting sent to war. If they got sent to war, how devastating that would be. I want to go to the next story here, which is that the US military is preparing to bury fallen soldiers abroad. Kylie, can you show this? So this is from Midas Touch. This is an article from Army Times. It says the US Army is now training soldiers to dig mass battlefield graves for American troops for the first time in decades. Rehearsing how to handle mass casualties as Trump's war continues. The Army says it hasn't needed to do this on a large scale since the Korean War. Josh, any thoughts on this? Well, so you couple this story where you've got military digging graves, presumably for themselves or other soldiers. And then you've got this other story by Senator Murphy where he's been briefed about the pending strikes and attacks that are forthcoming and the massive destruction that will ensue from that. And so,
What do you make of this other than they're anticipating mass casualties from from this war? I mean, I don't know what else to make of it I don't know the psychology behind having soldiers dig their own graves either I mean, I and I didn't serve in the military, but but all of this is frightening I mean, wait again, it gets back to the fact that Pete hexath this is like a Fraudboy that's in charge of the Department of Defense Who has no business trying to lead us into a war and you've got all of these You know lifelong military guys generals that are fleeing leaving the military at this point in time And then we've also read in other reports that we've way under reported how our military has been Devastated by the attacks from Iran and so you couple all this together and all of it is frightening You know and I still to this day can articulate why are we there and I think that's the problem that all the American people have Why are we in this war? And then we're thinking about the mass casualties that will ensue from these Attacks next week presumably and it's it's frightening. Yeah, which is all the more reason why Democrats need to get out and vote Get out and vote. I agree. I mean something that I dug into this article a little bit Some of the article said is the way they are practicing is they said quotes based on this Commanders can plan for an engineer company with your requisite equipment to dig and cover trenches for up to 1,400 bodies every 24 hours if operating non-stop 2,400 bodies and hours what they are potentially planning for in this great now again We're not hinting we're making assumptions about what's happening here But this has never been done before in decades and again This is Donald Trump somebody who ran on no new wars who ran on not sending your sons and daughters to go get killed Abroad this is somebody who avoided enlistment and avoided the draft by lying about bone spurs in his leg This is somebody who called the Iran war small potatoes after 18 service members had already died He defended administration officials like Howard Lutnik after they set out loud that nobody has died in Iran when they have So there is this perpetual cognitive dissonance of course that comes with this administration of them saying they fight for veterans They and they fight for our service members of saying that they won't send us to war and yet we can all see it with our own eyes We can see us being sent to another endless war in the Middle East. We can see our service members Dying abroad. We can see our veterans not being treated and dealt with at the VA when the VA gets their funding gutted And yet the Trump administration will continue continue To talk about there how they are here protecting folks all over the country And when we talk about Trump talking about protecting folks all over the country He recently also managed to talk about what black people and Jewish people should do according to him. Kylie. Can you roll the clip if you're black? or if you're Jewish and If you vote for Abdul you're crazy, okay, you're crazy You're crazy anyway, but if you're black You're crazy anyway, let's think about that first before we even get into the fucking ridiculousness of this statement Jews and black people regardless of what you do you're crazy anyway. Let me just say before I go to Josh I'm Jewish. I've said this on the show before it is our moral obligation is Jews to support people like Abdul Al Sayat I'm just gonna say that right now But even before we get into the racism and the anti-Semitism that Trump here is unleashing It is Jews moral obligation to support people like Abdul Al Sayat who are fighting for liberation fighting for peace fighting for free Healthcare fighting protect our children as Jews. We were raised to fight against discrimination Against Islamophobia against racism against imperialism. And so that is why I am supporting and do I say yeah Sorry to go on that ramp. Just what do you I'd like to hear that and How is what Trump said not considered anti-Semitic it is and why isn't the media asking? him these questions just like you know, they do with Abdul Al Sayat why why is there such a double standard because if a Democrat said that on a campaign speech To an audience Everybody would be raining hellfire on this person for being anti-Semitic for not supporting Israel not supporting Jews That's the first point now the second point is that we all know that Donald Trump is a racist like there Nobody can even refute that at this point in time just a few reminders of that post an AI video where he superimposes Michelle and Barack Obama's head on top of apes. That's right monkeys the Central Park five five young black kids he took out an ad So I mean I could go on and on everybody knows this like you judge someone based on their conduct He he's a racist. Does the media even think to report on that now? No or if you have a Trump administration on your show Do you ever ask him questions about why you said these things? No, but if you have a Democrat on do you ask them if they're going to denounce everything has on Piker said yes, yeah, it's so much bullshit It really is and it's just so rich that it's hard to stomach and take it's right and you know This is the to your point the double standard is insane We all know that but I also want to say and repeat that this is what fascists do they hit you over the head Again and again and again until you are numb to what they are saying and until the media stops covering it because It's boring because it stops getting clicks that does not mean what he's saying is less important or less scary This is not the first time that Donald Trump has said stuff like this in July Trump said that how a Jewish person convert for a Democrat is beyond me in October he said any Jewish person that supports this guy should be a same ashamed of Themselves The other thing I will say here too is that what can we think about what's downstream from this right for Jews for black people for anybody But I'm Jewish. Let's talk to the Jewish people listening The Trump and the GOP's treatment of minority groups Will not change once it gets to Jews Okay, just because we are being tokenized right now to protect their politics and to protect their worldview Does not mean that the end of the day they will also come for us and they will come for you So let's not forget that and there's somebody else I think as we move on that made a really good statement in response to this somebody that we Love dearly or I do senator Bernie Sanders Kylie can roll the clip. There's a lot of hatred being thrown about in Michigan, but it is not coming from Abdul Look, I understand that the issue of Israel and Gaza is a very sensitive issue people disagreed my own view is that in fact this right wing extremist Netanyahu in Israel has in fact committed genocide against the people of Palestine the people in Gaza that does not make you anti-Semitic. I am Jewish My father's family was wiped out by Hitler. So to talk about the horrific policies of the Netanyahu government Which has killed 75,000 men, women and children in Gaza wound to double that number that is not anti-Semitism I agree with senator Sanders there for the record Not to keep going on my high horse here, but again. I am Jewish my grandfather was the lead psychiatrist at the Nuremberg trials. I have been to Auschwitz and I can also say that what I am seeing abroad Not because of my own personal opinions, but because of what human rights groups all over the world are saying is that what bet Benjamin Netanyahu's government is doing is genocidal and I think it was completely valid and fair and right for our candidates our progressive candidates our Democratic candidates like Abdullah Sayed to call that out and say that actually no we do not want our Tax dollars going to fund these things. How about instead we fund schools? How about instead we fund healthcare? How about instead we fund the VA that will be serving the military members who are losing limbs after being sent to Trump's wars abroad? Josh, what do you think about that? Well, I agree with everything you said and I agree with senator Sanders I and I've often thought because I View this from afar the Palestinian Israel conflict and I've never understood how the media can cast or Republicans can cast an Opinion of criticism toward Israel as being anti-Semitic. I think that's the number one thing right now If you're critical on any aspect any aspect of Israel then you're anti-Semitic and It's just wrong. It's just fundamentally wrong like senator Sanders points out Their fair game just like anybody else is for their conduct especially the murder of innocent children in Palestine the genocide That's taking place there like just because you call things out and we saw that as a Tactic by the Trump administration to silence people on campuses college campuses that if you were pro-Palestinian in any way that they Acquated that to be an anti-Semitic and it's bullshit. It really is bullshit And that's what he's talking about like they want a free pass to where they can't be criticized for this genocide that their committee Where they're killing innocent children targeting children? That's admitted that that's in the facts in the public forum people know that and they feel like that if you Criticize them for that conduct that you're being anti-Semitic and that's propaganda that's fascist propaganda to suppress people's first amendment Opinion and we saw it on college campuses and it's bullshit If we can't Stand up to genocide and call out genocide. How can we fight for democracy? How can we fight for freedom here? How can we fight for the rights of of black people and immigrants and queer people and most of them people in Jews here? We are allowed to be honest About what we are seeing we are allowed to believe our eyes even when a fascist government
telling us not to. And unlike Bernie Sanders, I will say that there is another senator from New Jersey who had somewhat of a different reaction to talking about Abdul al-Assad. Kylie, can you roll the clip? I'm going to see record African-American midterm turnout. Senator, I didn't hear you mention Abdul al-Assad's name. I wonder if you have concerns about his candidacy and his viability among black voters? This is my focus right now, is winning back the Senate and it's why I'm traveling all over the country. I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that Democrats have control in the gavel and can hold Donald Trump accountable, can actually check and balance his policies that are hurting people. And I certainly hope we have a 55-vote seat majority in the Senate. I'm not hearing a ringing endorsement. Nevertheless, I have to move on. What you're hearing there is Cory Booker, Senator Cory Booker, somewhat refusing to endorse Abdul al-Assad. As a reminder, we saw him do the same thing with Zoram Umdani in the New York Marrow election, where he said that, oh, I don't get involved in New York politics, even though it's less than two miles or less than five miles from where he used to be the mayor in New Jersey. And while he, as he says himself, travels the country campaigning for other Democratic campaigns. For some reason, he is unable to stand on two feet and support Abdul Al-Assad publicly. Watching videos like that makes me want to reach over the room and smash my lap. That's right. We've got Democratic leadership. And we know Senator Booker, he takes APEC money. And he can't endorse Abdul al-Assad at a critical moment in this election to give the Democrat's majority of the Senate because he's leveraged by APEC money. Are you fucking serious? I mean, this is the problem with Democrats. This is the problem right here. I mean, let's can't let it happen. Let's also remember Cory Booker is the one who I think around six months ago was caught shaming voters for not supporting Kamala Harris, right? So you can't have it both ways. And I also just want to say here, I know we are close to an election to one of the most monumental and important elections we ever had. We hear it from moderate liberal Democrats constantly. My whole life that vote Luna matter who. And for the most part, you know what? When we move past the primaries or we get to the general elections, I agree. It's time to get in line. Big tent. Let's support our people. So get in line, Cory Booker. We need Abdul Al-Assad in the Senate. We need to stop this fascist government from taking away women's rights, from arresting our immigrant neighbors, from driving us into a police state that is run by AI flock cameras that is supported and financed by big oil tech executives. Cory Booker, we need you to do better here. And I will also say to anybody who criticizes you or criticizes us for criticizing Democrats, we need to be critical of leadership always. That does not weaken the party. That strengthens us. Again, we need to be honest about what we're seeing. We need to call our leadership out and beg and demand for righteous, moral, political leadership at this time. It's infuriating. I'm fucking with you. I want to crush this laptop and throw every fucking camera in this room at the wall. Anyway, that's it for us today all. Thank you for tuning in. Like we said, the ladies are out. We were covering in. As we've said before, we hope you can click, follow, subscribe and we'll see you next time.
