Trump Given This Dire Warning as WH Scrambles to Recover
19m 44s
A growing chorus of tech leaders and journalists is warning of a dangerous AI future, citing the potential for autonomous AI systems to take over the internet and cause massive economic and societal damage within six to twelve months. The CEO of Anthropic has publicly flagged this risk, and Elon Musk has supported the warnings, though skepticism persists about their sincerity and motives. Meanwhile, political response is deeply fragmented: Trump dismisses AI risks, framing them as part of a China-centric narrative, while Obama and Bernie Sanders urge urgent federal oversight. Critics argue that major U.S. officials lack leadership and transparency, with evidence of deep ties between elite tech billionaires and government institutions. Concerns are further amplified by the embedding of tech CEOs in military and intelligence roles, and by the alleged manipulation of media outlets like 60 Minutes to promote government propaganda. Jared Kushner’s close ties to Vladimir Putin and his role in Ukraine negotiations are seen as emblematic of a broader pattern of political corruption and short-sighted diplomacy. The narrative suggests a powerful alliance between tech oligarchs and political leaders is eroding democratic oversight, with critics warning that without systemic reform—especially through mid-term elections—the U.S. risks losing control of critical technologies and institutions. The central takeaway is that AI and governance are not just technical issues but deep political and institutional challenges requiring urgent, independent, and public accountability.
[MUSIC] All right, it's always been AI and the tech oligarchs that were coming for us. It's never been the immigrants. It's never been the LGBTQ+ community. It's never been the zero trans players in the WNBA. And the anthropic CEO makes a dire warning about the future of AI, pop this up. Okay, this is starting to feel like a fucking disaster. The CEO of Anthropic just published an article admitting AI is already building the next generation of AI by itself. He says within six to 12 months, a rogue swarm could take over the entire internet and cause hundreds of billions of dollars in damage. And what makes it scarier, Elon Musk just backed up everything Dario said. All of this dropping just days after Jacob Cox and went viral with his warning about AI and the extinction of humanity. Tell me this isn't strange. And in the article, or in the statement, they write in six to 12 months, such a swarm could be capable of taking over the entire internet with a persistent bot net, potentially causing hundreds of billions of dollars in damage. And the scale of damage would continue to increase from there if AI becomes more powerful without the necessary guardrails. I wonder if we have a government that's interested in guardrails, Josh. Well, this is one of those scenarios. Who do you trust here? Do you trust these billionaire CEOs that they really need regulation? I think there is some truth to that. I think that based on that piece that the insider published just a few days ago, there's some merit to that. But I think it's in about face for the CEOs of these AI companies to now. All of a sudden say this unless there's some financial gain from them, some financial motive. And so we're in this scenario. I don't really trust what they're saying, but I do think that there's merit to it. And we damn sure don't trust our government. All right, Pam, so let me get your take on this. Here's Trump rejecting any calls for the AI slowdown. Play the clip. A lot of concerning reports about AI should the AI industry slow down or be more regulated? Well, I say this, like we're leading China and AI. We're the most sophisticated country in the world. And frankly, I want to keep it that way because whoever wins AI wins. And you can put guardrails. We can do this in that. But I think you have a lot of negative forces in bringing it up. That shouldn't be bringing it up. It's pretty rich for Trump to talk about negative forces. Here's the thing. He scares people with China's going to be ahead of us. The reality is since he has been in government, these big tech oligarchs have bribed him, paid him, corrupted, whatever. He's gotten rich, he's kids have gotten rich, er. And then not only does he not want to put federal regulations on it, he is trying to institute policies that will not allow the states to control AI. That tells me this is a terrifying situation because if Trump is all in on these oligarchs getting power, it's because he wants to enrich himself. It's not for the good of the American people at all, in my opinion. Well, and he says whoever wins AI wins, is that true or is whoever wins AI gets killed by AI? Right. Furthermore, nobody has assisted China more than Donald Trump in this regime. No one has assisted the rise of China as a superpower and the demise of the United States of America as a superpower more than Donald Trump. Our former allies, and I say former loosely there, but I think they would consider former candidate, the EU. Who are they looking to as reliable trade partners? Not this dipshit who goes through dementia, sundown or hour every day. Multiple times a day goes on these AI slot posting sprees. They are going to China as a more reliable trading partner. But let's listen to what the speaker of the house, little Moses Mike Grindr Johnson, a guy who has power, a guy who could put in a guardrail, what does he do and say about this? Play the clip. The guys who are raising the alarms right now all have very different ideas on what the guardrail should be. There's no consensus among them. And Congress is obviously less qualified than the people who are pushing this frontier to know all the ins and outs of it. So this has to be a partnership with the industry itself, with the corporations that are doing this, and with the policy and lawmakers. And Josh. Well, that sounds reassuring. Although it does make the admission that Congress is unqualified, like it does make that admission up front. Every time I hear an interview with him, it just gets worse and worse and worse. And I think we'll probably revisit that same interview later. We have no leadership at the federal government. We have no oversight. We have nothing. Of course, AI needs to be regulated. Everybody knows that. We've been screaming that forever. And he's got no opinion about this. He's got no leadership. He's got no policy. He's just got nothing, which is typical for Republicans. He's not screaming about trans issues. He's not saying a damn thing. And I think it's important to listen to what the people who are really embedded into tech and covering it journalists, like Gil Duran, he just wrote a book called The Nerd Rike. The desire of these tech oligarchs is to create one government of the world that is run by technology. And in that technology, they provide us, socialism, communism, the money and the goods that we need. And these tech oligarchs run the technology. It's crazy and dystopian as that sounds. Look into what Peter Till, Curtis Yarvan and others want to do. These guys get so much money, they enter a stage of billionaire psychosis. They get bored. And they think, oh, what else can we create? What else can we create? They want to dismantle democracy. They want to dismantle all humanness in the world. This is really gross stuff. Imagine setting your makeup. Then forgetting it's even theirs. Meet new groupie, setting mist from Maybelline, New York. Delta mist technology locks in your look for up to 24 hours with flexible all day, comfy grip. No tightness, no stickiness, no residue. Just clump to a hydrated skin that still feels like your skin. Try new groupie setting mist from Maybelline, New York. Maybe it's Maybelline. Moving along, Obama is warning Democrats about AI pop this up. Obama implored Democratic leaders to move AI oversight to the center of the party's agenda warning during a private fundraiser this past week that the technology could be dangerous if they do not get on top of it. Bernie Sanders, of course, has been saying this as well. But I think this is really smart strategically, Angie, because you look at what happens with the data centers and the outpouring bipartisan support of the people that have to live around these data centers screaming, no, we don't want them near us. What's your take? Well, I think that Obama is a brilliant politician and I completely agree with him, but I would say that the American public has made their feelings about AI as clear as crystal, same with the government of Israel. So I'm saying, listen to your constituents. Obama is voicing concerns the American people are voicing and you have Trump poo-pooing it. And so we need to see these lawmakers. Are they getting funding from Israeli corporate interests? And are they getting funding from AI corporate interests? And we know for a fact, Chuck Schumer, speaker of this, or I'm sorry, the minority leader is asked deep with Palantir. So I think as voters, we've made our mark on what we think of this issue. And I am glad to see Obama coming out front and saying, hey, you got to pay attention. Yeah, and I just don't think that right now, anybody thinks that many people think about what the voters want. That's why I think you have these independent candidates in the DSA that are winning because they are speaking to the needs of policies that can deliver materially for the people. And so then you look at who is opposing DSA candidates, the Democratic establishment, and the Republican Party every single bit of it, Mac all of it. And so as we see this economic populism rise up, the forces that are uniting with the tech oligarchs and the United States government, this is an uphill battle, but we can do it. What they're, what they've done, which is just insane, is they are embedded now in the national government, in the federal government. This technology is embedded. Do you remember the story? About a year ago, where in the army, in the Pentagon, they were putting tech CEOs and what not embedded in the United States military. And now the new season of 60 minutes premiered last night, and this administration is already colluding with Barry Wise, pop this up. Hegseth Heavily pressured the two crew members of the U.S. F-115 or F-15, shot down over Iran in April to appear on tonight's 60 minutes report on their rescue, meeting them privately and asking them whether they would take part voluntarily or be directly ordered to, after both had raised concerns about the interview per CNN. One airman agreed that other
one refused. Josh, this type of propaganda that is now being ordered from the Secretary of Defense. He's ordering United States military to go on TV and propagandize about the failures of Pete Hegses reign as Defense Secretary. Any other administration, this would be page one headline. This would be a top story. Here it's buried somewhere because of all of the other corruption. But keep in mind, we executed individuals on boats outside of Venezuela. I mean, just downright executions by the orders of Pete Hegses. So none of this is a surprise. They slowly have now merged CBS with the government. So it's what we talked about earlier where the government becomes quasi-partners with various media outlets. And that's what's happened here. And all of this is a disgrace. At some point, there's going to have to be some accountability when the Democrats take over and ask questions about this because we have a Congress that just lays down. There's been plenty of evidence to support the fact that Pete Hegses, and this is by both Isles, is simply an incompetent leader. He's incompetent. He's way above his head. Both members of each party have said that. This is another example of that. It's like you've got some, you know, some bro running the Department of Defense or Department of War, whatever it is they want to call it, who's completely incompetent. Yeah. And this is an opportunity for the Democrats to really message this propaganda that the Republican Party has perpetuated four decades. We support the troops. We need to start calling out. The Republicans say a lot of things, but their votes do not back that up. They talk the talk, but they never walk the walk. Blackmailing and ordering and getting involved in a United States military officer to go propagandize a K.A. lie for Pete Hegses. It's not supporting the troops. It's not supporting the Constitution. We have a government right now that is actively trying to dismantle our government. So when you hear Donald Trump talk about China winning, well, yeah, you're making sure of that, but also another adversary of ours is just delighted, absolutely delighted at the arrival of the incompetent dipship, dipshit cabinet of Donald Trump. And that, of course, is Vladimir Putin in Russia. And here's a clip. Jared Kushner continues to pursue Russian interests on behalf of the United States. This is stunning. Play the clip. Look, I think right now from the Ukraine perspective, I mean, President Putin slayed out his line of what he wants to achieve. If Ukraine, you know, wanted to withdraw to that line, then obviously, you know, we have the rest of the deal set up and put together Ukraine right now does not want to do that and obviously our job is the mediators to figure out how can we come up with a creative solution that doesn't that doesn't violate their desires and that helps them achieve, you know, their objective and doesn't know way that we can get Russia to end the conflict in a way that hopefully, you know, allows both parties to move forward in their framework that that where this doesn't happen again. So, boy, fascism really ages people doesn't it? God, I mean, my God, I don't even think he's 40. Is he looks 65? Josh, I think you were going to say something before and then we'll get to the Russia stuff. Well, I was going to say the part on CBS. What's new here is not that this administration would sponsor a perjury or someone lying blatantly. That's we expect that. What's new here is that you have one of our major news outlets that would take this kind of information and report on it. Normally CBS wouldn't is specifically 60 minutes would be a little more toned up to some of the administration's propaganda, but here they embrace it. Well, and that's and that's why they they're buying up the media. That's why Benjamin Netanyahu wanted the same guy that bought CBS Larry Ellison who actively gave the idea of money during the genocide of Palestinians. He also wanted him to buy TikTok. So, these really nefarious dark guys have billionaires carrying the water for them and imagine you have all this money. You could do so many good things and here's what they're choosing to do. But pumps is we get to Russia again. This is Jared Kushner. I believe he could not pass like an FBI security clearance, security clearance. And he is always next to Vladimir Putin in his, I call him Tweedle D and Whitcoff Tweedle dip shit. They said Vladimir Putin is just always so respectful to us. And I'm like, of course he is. He is a former KGB agent. He is playing, you all talk about people playing chess. He's genuinely playing chess. These are diabolical smart people. You work for a diabolical dip shit. The fact that he is saying that Ukraine just needs to give Putin what he wants and that we still have some European allies bending the need to Trump is a real wake-up moment here. Yeah, and I look at Jared Kushner, I think. I mean, obviously he's not an expert in any of this, but the way he speaks and talks in his lap, his just complete arrogance to think that he's the guy, that I'm the guy that's going to fix this when really he just wants Ukraine to lay down. And I would just say to me, and I think Marco Rubio sucks all the way, but this tells me what a bad situation and a bad deal and that we're only after money when we go over there and negotiate with Russia, because the Secretary of State is not going. It's these two. Jared Kushner, who has personally enriched himself, Steve Whitcough, personally enriched themselves. So this is not a diplomatic mission. This is a pocket mission. And it really makes me sad for the people of Ukraine that we're dragging this out after Trump was going to stop the war on one day, which everybody with a brain knew is bullshit. Yeah, everything with this administration is a complete shake down and the fix is in. The fix is in the only way to halt the fix is the midterms. And one final clip here, Trump was asked about Tweedle D and Tweedle dipshit leading negotiations. Play the clip. This is exactly the type of propaganda that CBS, Barry Weiss, and everybody is promoting. When real journalists out there are uncovering that Benjamin Netanyahu was warned directly that this was going to happen. Other journalists have reported that Hamas offered to give all of the hostages back, and Israel ignored that request. And this is reporting. I don't know if it's substantiated or not. But again, the through line and all of this stuff is the fix is in. And the only remedy are the midterms. All right, thanks for joining us. Make sure you subscribe, like and comment. And we will be back later with more news. And it's even theirs.
