Trump Faces Growing Midterm Warning Signs Across Key States (with Brian Poindexter)

A growing backlash against the MAGA Republican Party is evident across multiple states, including Kansas, Ohio, and Texas, where voters are rejecting the populist, fraudulent policies of figures like Donald Trump and Roger Marshall. In Kansas, Senator Marshall, a former physician with a documented history of aggressive debt collection, faces intense public backlash at the State Fair, where audiences boo him for his ties to Trump and economic harm, especially from tariffs that have raised living costs. The Democratic candidate, Adam Hamilton, positions himself as a morally grounded, community-focused alternative. Similarly, in Ohio, Democrat Brian Point Dexter gains traction by offering a relatable, family-centered campaign, emphasizing economic fairness, worker protections, and transparency. Voters are increasingly disillusioned with promises like a $5,000 bribe, which have failed to materialize, and are demanding real policy change. This shift reflects a broader national fatigue with MAGA leadership, characterized by broken promises, corruption, and a lack of tangible benefits for ordinary citizens. The rise of candidates rooted in lived experience, community, and economic justice signals a movement toward a more accountable, people-centered politics. With polling showing competitive races and growing momentum, Democrats are poised to make significant gains in key battleground states, indicating a fundamental realignment in public trust and political priorities.

[Music] Oh my, Donald Trump just got a chilling message in a place that he least expected in Kansas, not just in Kansas, at the Kansas State Fair, where a Donald Trump Maga-Sicophantic Senator who's running for re-election, Roger Marshall got booed off-stage, and it's not just in Kansas, folks, it's also in Texas, it's also in Ohio, it's also in Alaska, it's also in Pennsylvania, frankly, there is no safe Republican seat anymore, as Republican has gone full Trump Maga, and the American people are fed up and done with it, as Donald Trump tries to defraud the American people yet again, I'm going to give you $5,000, I'm not lying this time, just like I spoke with the Hoothies, just like I spoke with Hamas, just like I spoke with Iran, the Ayatollah, trust me, trust me, it's all going to be good everybody, lies, lies, and more lies, so Roger Marshall, it's a very interesting fact, he's running against somebody by the name of Adam Hamilton, who's a United Methodist pastor, first time candidate, not a political guy, he won the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate seat in Kansas, he's running against Marshall, and an individual who's just out there speaking from the heart right now, not a politician. Now Roger Marshall's background, before he was a Maga Republican Senator, Roger Marshall was a former obstetrician gynecologist, and the New York Times just in an expose, did you see this? That court records found that Marshall sued 700 of his former patients over outstanding bills that range from several thousand dollars down to as little as a hundred and one dollars. This practice routinely applied an 18% annual interest rate collection methods included wage garnishments, bank account garnishments in 81 cases, patients were arrested after missing court dates, Marshall's lawyers sought warrants for the arrest in 13 additional cases. Some collection efforts continued even after Marshall entered Congress in 2017. This is as a Maga as you get folks, so let me set the stage for us right now, the Kansas State Fair, why the Kansas State Fair, that's where there is a debate taking place. And at this debate between Roger Marshall, the Maga Republican Senator, and Adam Hamilton right over here, the crowd went absolutely livid on Roger Marshall. This guy actually really lives in Florida, he doesn't even live in Kansas at all, and shame on you, the crowd screamed shame on you, shame on you, the chance broke out as Roger Marshall made excuses for his medical debt collection practices. Here play this clip, those are common common business practices. We would go a year before we'd ever send somebody over. Let me show you more of what was going down over here, Roger Marshall then speaks to the Kansas State Fair audience, and says, who do you want solving this problem? And everybody's like, not you, not you, watch this here play this clip. Yeah, I guess I just asked the audience, who do you want solving this problem? The kid, ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, if you could please calm down and let this Senator answer. Crowd would say, you don't even live here, get out of here, carpet bagger, get the hell out of here. Here play this clip. It's been about 200 days voting, and I spent about 135 days back in this state as well. Our state buss or tails for this state, this is all a social media myth made by the social media not just as well, lifetime Kansas, fifth generation, Kansas, thank you, Mr. Hamilton. Then you had to have the Kansas State Fair moderator for the Senate debate had to tell the crowd calm down because they were booing Trump's boot liquor in Kansas so much here play this clip. I've never canned in hand with Bobby Kennedy to help bring these make America healthy again. Topics back as well. Ladies and gentlemen, now what I found very interesting about this race also is there hasn't been a lot of polling on it, but now we're starting to see more polls and it's neck and neck. The Democratic candidate, Adam Hamilton, seems like he could potentially win this Senate seat and the Maga candidate can lose, I think with the right momentum and the overperformance we've been seeing in the special elections thus far, I think the Democrats going to win in Kansas. By the way, don't sleep on the Democratic candidate in South Carolina. I think she is also going to beat Darlene Graham, Lindsey Graham's sister who doesn't know anything about anything other than I'm going to do with Donald Trump tells me to do sorry, back to the Kansas State Fair for a moment over here. Let me show you what went down as Roger Marshall says you know where I stand and then the crowd started booing him play this clip. Corissa Boo continues here play this clip so you can see for yourself what went down. Just last week in my wife and I were chatting and she suggested I share with this crowd why we moved to Great Bend now I don't know about you now I don't know about you. The difference between Maga Republican Senator Marshall and Adam Hamilton couldn't be clearer when it comes to price hiking tariffs watch for yourself over here. More from Hamilton pointing out that Roger Marshall supports Donald Trump and everything which means 1500 Bombardier workers could lose their jobs as a result of what Donald Trump's doing in Trump's attack on Canada here play this clip. Books and by the way Bombardier uses so many American parts, Bombardier uses more American parts than Gulf Stream does Donald Trump doesn't understand how supply chains work and those American parts don't just employ people at the Bombardier factory they employ people at all different factories and Kansas and throughout the country and Bombardier employs thousands of people in the United States. Now let me just show you this is a incredible super cut of what went down you can see for yourself and then I've got a surprise for you here play this clip. The Republican incumbent Dr Roger Marshall now I guess I just asked the audience who do you want solving this problem. The tariffs are a disaster for everyone across the state of Kansas whether you realize it or not. Look these tariffs are working we are expanding our export markets because of them. We love Kansas we will live here after I'm elected Senate I'm not going to sell my house and move to Florida as you did. All a social media myth made by the social media Nazis as well that the average cost of gasoline has been less under President Trump than it was under Joe Biden. You can look it up you can fact check me as well. If you love $6 gallon diesel fuel you can thank Roger Marshall. He told us to tighten our belts because this was the cost of being safe in America. We were supposed to be out of this war after four weeks maybe six weeks were six months in. With all the people in the room that I ran one I ran have a nuclear weapon raise your hand for me. Does anybody in this room want I ran to have a nuclear weapon. last year when you voted for the One big beautiful bill. You gave $30 billion in tax cuts to data centers. You may not agree with me on everything, but you're going to know exactly where I stand. Whose snap benefits are being taken away by you. And you're saying they all have fraud. We're talking about 18,000 children in Kansas who lost their snap benefits under his leadership. And I've worked hand in hand with Bobby Kennedy to help bring these make America healthy again. And courage is when you stand up to your president and your party and you say this is hurting people back home. And you say it, even if your president's going to bully you, pick on you, primary you and call your names. You still say this is not okay. Thank you. All right. Pretty incredible footage right there, right? Seeing that super cut. Now let me bring you, I'm just going to show a short clip of it because it's football. And so I just don't want to show too much of it because it's an ESPN, but I'll just give you enough to know. So Ted Cruz, Maga Republican Senator, was in Austin for college game day watching the Texas football. And Ted Cruz got booed ruthlessly while he was there. Watch for yourself here, play this clip. Now I will share with you as well what is going down in I'll show you what's going down. Why don't we go to Ohio right now? How about not only do we go to Ohio, I have a surprise for you. I want to bring in the Democratic candidate in Ohio right now, Brian Point Dexter. He's running against Max Miller, Max Miller who has those heinous allegations, Max Miller, who runs from his constituents, ultra-magic, extremist Max Miller. The latest polling as Brian Point Dexter at 47% to Max Miller, 33%. So this looks like this district can flip Democrat also on Point Dexter. He's got a really compelling story. He did this incredible ad called Daughters featuring his three children Ashley, Michaela and Taylor telling stories about their dad as they sit in front of family photos. Obviously, there's a clear contrast between him and the vile individual, Max Miller, who is currently the Congress member from that district. But I just interviewed Brian Point Dexter. Let me bring him in because as we're seeing Donald Trump crash out in Kansas and Texas, in Ohio and Pennsylvania, in Ohio's seventh right here, Brian Point Dexter looks poised to win this race. Let's bring in my interview with the Democratic candidate for Ohio's seventh congressional district, Brian Point Dexter. You're not going to want to miss this. You've heard me talk about the rain. The gum I've been showing that actually strengthens my tooth enamel. I love the rain's gum and now they're launching something I'm really excited about. A nicotine free pouch. The raincoat pouches are pouches that swap out the nicotine and give you clean focus and support your enamel the whole time that they're in. The works like pouches you've seen before. You talk one in and go about your day. Each pouch has 50 milligrams of caffeine, which is about half a cup of coffee, plus altheonine and alpha-GPC for a smooth steady focus with no energy crash. And because this is laryn, every pouch also has nano hydroxyapatite. The mineral your teeth are made of, so it gives you daily enamel support in between brushes. It comes in mint, cinnamon and mango, and it's nicotine free always. I'm a huge fan of this idea. It's giving you smooth energy and focus without jitters or crash, and also it's doing something good for my teeth while it sits there. Every pouch out there, it makes you pick between something that helps you focus and something that's actually good for your teeth. This is the only one designed to do both and it comes from a brand that's leading the way at supporting your oral health. With larynatry, right now, laryn is offering our listeners up to 50% off at bylaryn.com/mitus. That's bylaryn, l-a-r-i-n-e.com/mitus, for up to 50% off. Now I want to bring in someone whose campaign I've been following very closely. Ryan Poindexter, Ohio's seventh congressional district race, Brian is currently a council member of Brook Park City is running against Maga Republican extremist Max Miller. The Maga Republican leadership is still behind Max Miller after allegation, after allegation and some of the most disgusting and future things I've ever heard that against him. We even have the senator of Ohio saying that Max Miller needs to Republican senators, former father-in-law, saying he needs to resign and lots of Maga Republican senators saying Max Miller needs to resign and we'll talk about that, but I want to talk about you, Brian, because you've got a very compelling story, father, your union iron worker, apprenticeship and structure council member and you've been running a very compelling campaign and I think we're seeing people in Ohio saying, you know what, we gave this Maga thing a shot, we gave them the power, Republicans are controlling a lot of things and they've lied to us and they failed and we want to go in another direction and so talk to us about what you're seeing. You know this area? Well, you've won elections in the area, are you seeing a shift? Talk about what you see is going on in this area. Yeah, well, election time voters always ask themselves two questions. And why should we fire the guy that's in there now? And we know all the reasons why obviously the allegations are serious, but the policies he supported have put us in a world of hurt, especially as far as workers are concerned here in my district. So we know why we need to fire him, but why hire me? And you know, I'm showing people what a real representative looks like, I'm showing up at events, I'm showing up, you know, door to door, I grew, you know, cut my political teeth in Brook Park, Brook Park is a scrappy city where you have to knock on every door if you're going to get the vote of the people in the city of Brook Park. And I told people when he got into this, I'm going to run a Brook Park style campaign where I'm going to meet people where they are, you know, we're averaging 2,000 doors a week and that's ramping up. And you know, just, you know, I have the lived experience of the average person in our district and I resonate with them on a level that they can understand because I'm just like the guy next door and that's given us real strength and built real momentum in this race. Talk about that lived experience because people are getting crushed right now across this country and you zoom in on areas like Brook Park and, you know, you see a story of an American dream quite literally stolen and I, you know, like literally ripped apart, you know, whether it's their healthcare being ripped apart, you know, they're, they're money being ripped apart, you know, taken out, you know, and go into Trump and Trump's friends and his rich oligarchs, you know, and, you know, you hear Donald Trump and people like Max Miller, we promise you this time we know we've been saying we're going to give you $5,000 the last time if you vote for us and we didn't do it, and then we promised you it again, we didn't do it, but this time, this, we're not even going to talk about policy, we're just going to straight up bribe you, okay, we're going to give you $5,000 if you vote for us this one time and it's like you stole people's bread, now you're dangling the bread crumbs that you're not even going to give them right now and that's their closing message basically is that we're going to defraud you again, oh, hi, we're going to talk about the shared experience of what people are seeing, what do you see when you knock on doors, what are people experiencing, what are the pain points there, I'm sure there are many. Oh, there's so many and you know, they're all economically driven, you know, people are working harder and harder and getting less for it, you know, I'm old enough to remember time where one income can support and tire your whole family and, you know, now two incomes aren't even enough to make ends meet in that family. And, you know, it all ties back to the corruption at the federal level, you know, the wealthiest and well connected among us are living a great, having a great time at our expense, you know, all the tax breaks go to them, to the wealthy, to the corporations and it's it, you know, working people are left paying the tab for that, you know, we see it in rising gas prices, we see it in rising grocery prices, we see it in stagnating wages and people are tired of politicians in Washington not hearing them and, you know, that you brought up the $5,000 for a promise, you know, it just shows that, you know, they're finally hearing the pleas that that people need relief, unfortunately, you know, people don't want that one time handout, they want to be able to make a living doing the work they do. enough to support their family and you know I'm going to support that at every opportunity. Talk about this ad that you just released and I saw the TMZ report about how Max Miller's dodging questions about this ad you pointed out when you released it here's my first ad and you were saying how you know you did this for all of the running for Congress to fight for my daughters and you're so in my first ad I decided to turn my mic over to them it was a great I mean it's a great piece and you know to me with all of this gamified politics that happens before an election and people just throw at all this nastiness out there to try to obscure and confuse I always like to say at the end of the day this is about like your family I think this is about you know how are we living our lives and and what's and pull back and be like what's the point of all of this is the point of all of this so that we can wake up and then be non-consensual extras in some dystopian reality show with some psychotic maniac in Washington behaving like like a like a crazy person and oh dude see the crazy thing he did oh my god is he screwed with our gas prices or as he's screwing with our healthcare I'm like it's about our daughters and my daughter your daughters it's about our families it's about our future generations about hoping to make human connections like that's life like and we have to get out of this bizarro freaking world than to me that's what you know why your ad resonated with me so talk to me about that well um you know my my daughters had fun with that ad and um you know they make fun of their ad all the time so why not do it on camera right um but it really was just a good opportunity to give people a window into my life you know what I've been fighting for what I've been working for all these years and and the type of representative I'll be you know I'm I'm literally the guy next door the the guy down the street helped the old lady with his with her garbage and um you know I wanted to highlight that you know and people were like well you made this ad to put a mirror up to Max Miller and like no I I didn't I did it to give people a view of my daily life and the love I have for my daughters and how much they love their dad um if it holds a mirror up to Max Miller that's something he's got to worry about um you know I didn't you know my whole campaign is built on a message of positivity built on a message of uniting people because the only way we're going to get out of this mess is together um we can we can continue to chase the chaos of the day from the administration and from uh this Republican held uh legislature uh but at the end of the day people people long uh for community again uh people are tired of of of turning their backs on family over politics turn their backs on friends um over politicians and and I hope to show people a different way and that's kind of what that ad speaks to right and I think here's the moment that we're in I think people know that Donald Trump is an awful putrid fraudulent felon horrible human being I mean I think that it's revealed even to his former base I think they look at him this is my view I think they look at him and they go you betrayed us I think they look at someone like a Max Miller and they go awful human being just awful human being but then they look at the Democrats and they're saying okay do not bring us back though to just the status quo before this because you're just going to bring in Trump's and Max Miller's so don't bullshit me right now and tell me what you're going to actually do that moves us forward and actually fights for these things because we were promised a whole bunch of things from these magas and they didn't deliver but if there was lower gas prices if we could afford homes if we could have no more never ending wars that some of that stuff appeals to us we like that so can we do that can you actually fight for us and and and and move us in a direction forward versus the sea saw cycles that you and I were around the same age we know how we got here Trump's awful but he's a vessel from a lot of what we're seeing just like you see in Ohio you know over time it's just gotten worse and worse and worse to the point where people all right we got to change it but what does that mean directionally right and so I think we're in what are you going to do for me you know people are saying you know Brian what how are you going to change the game so I'll let you deliver that final message before we go which is you know what are you going to do you know how how is this going to be different how is this not just a return to politics as usual and we get rid of an awful Max Miller we get a family man Brian but you know it's still politics in DC how can you assure the voters this is different well the first thing I'm not going to do is I'm not going to you know when this race and go on a revenge tour for all the crazy things that we've seen over the past few years you know because there's a lot of people that you know that voted for Trump and vote for Miller who are you know who are hurting under the policies that they they brought forward it's it's almost like an ex-girlfriend right you just kind of move forward don't live in the past so and what I want to do is I want to help lower cost day one by fighting to get us out of the war that's driven of costs on families I want to end the blanket tariffs that driven up the costs on families and I really want to end the corruption that has enabled all of it you know the the dark money in politics the members of congress trading stocks you know Max Miller has partake partake in all that and and you know that's we got to get back to the basics you know there's a lot of things a lot of fires burning and you know in my life when when things are getting overwhelming I kind of focus on the basic you know I got to pay my mortgage first I got to you know make sure my car payments paid and that's what we needed that's the approach I'm going to bring to congress we need to you know strengthen collective bargaining rates so workers can make a good wage and benefits again we need to lift them in and wage up so people are actually making a real living you know we got to save Social Security so our retirees can retire with dignity and and and I think if we get to the basics allow give some relief to people in their pockets in their personal life then we can a lot of the other issues will kind of solve themselves because people have the means to fight for them Brian working people learn more about the campaign pretty close to you know we're getting closer to election day I mean I'm looking at the calendar and it's it's right around the corner if people want to learn more about you where do they go um real easy you can go to point dexter for congress.com keeping them up on the air all the way through the cycle so hopefully you're willing to do that yeah look the ads are great I do want to say this though I mean the campaign you've been running is an inspired campaign and it's worker focused and it's different it looks different it feels different than other campaigns that and in a good way you know and and connecting it and rooting it in family The Kansas State Fair hosted a Senate debate between Roger Marshall and Adam Hamilton, where the crowd reacted strongly against Marshall, highlighting public discontent with his policies and lack of local ties.

Court records show Marshall sued 700 former patients over unpaid bills, using high-interest rates and wage garnishments in some cases, raising concerns about unethical collection practices even after entering Congress.

Hamilton, a United Methodist pastor and first-time candidate, emphasizes authenticity, family values, and opposition to Trump's policies, contrasting with Marshall's ties to the 'Maga' movement and economic policies.

The crowd booted him for not living in Kansas, making excuses for his medical debt practices, and for supporting policies that raised costs like tariffs, which many voters believe hurt local families.
