I just spoke with President Trump about the situation with Iran. He tells Fox News he's in a deciding mode and that very big things are going to be happening in the not so distant future. The president described the current choices on the table as wiping Iran out, letting them rot economically or making a deal. He added, my question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up? They better behave. Now, I asked the president about. Then Donald Trump talks about how Washington, D.C. is going to become a massive war zone. And he says that his so-called triumphal arch that he is building will become a military complex. So he's preparing the White House to become a drone port and a military command center. And he's now saying the triumphal arch is going to be used for a war in Washington, D.C. Here's what he posted this morning. At the strong request of the United States military and for national security purposes, I have agreed to convert the magnificent triumphal arch planned since the Civil War era many years ago. At the receptive circle adjoining the Arlington Memorial Bridge into a top grade military complex triumphal arch to house, store and have the rapid ability to use large number of drones plus snipers on both the roof and plaza areas. And additionally, have and hold large quantities of sniper ammunition in storage. There will be no facility like this anywhere in the world. This is an important piece of information for all of us to keep in mind as we look at the future. Trump says he's creating AI force like Space Force, an entire military division that will be focused on AI. This as we learned that an AI chat bot almost got the United States involved in a war with China recently. And this as we also learned that F-35 parts found their way to China. I should also note that as Treasury Secretary Besant has been threatening any country that does business with Iran with economic D-Day, massive sanctions. He was photographed earlier with China's Treasury head as well. By the way, Donald Trump goes on to say how we are the only country that doesn't have a triumphal arch and it's going to be great when it is a military triumphal arch. We've also reported here on the Midas Touch Network how European countries are effectively preparing for World War III. They're all saying that they expect Russian hybrid attacks to be taking place soon. And Russia also announced where Russia basically borders Estonia. There will be a curfew through September 26th. And some of the threats that at least European countries have been saying is that Russia may send elite teams of special forces into European countries to test NATO Article 5. Meanwhile, Putin says that he expects there to be an invasion from European countries. Things are escalating and now Donald Trump is talking about turning Washington, D.C. into a war zone with the triumphal arch becoming a military arch, whatever the hell that's supposed to mean. Then Donald Trump to state regime media, Fox says that the Iranian officials are all hiding like rats. Here, play this clip. Ground forces are always the ones that have the final word in wars. Why do the airborne divisions not come? Why do the U.S. ground forces not enter Iran? Why do they only bomb from the sky and then leave? Trump greatly underestimated Iran. Mohsen Razai, Iran's security council secretary, says today nobody considers America's war with Iran to be rational or logical. Everyone describes it as a stupid war. And I want to add another word to that, ignorant. American military, economic, and political actions were not based on any precise assessment or accuracy. They were carried out entirely at the instigation of Israel and Netanyahu personally. But Donald Trump ranting and raving like a lunatic this morning saying, they're hiding like rats. We don't know where they are. Donald Trump also told state regime media Fox that he's in constant communication with the Houthis. He's like speaking with Ansar Allah every day, he says. Going U.S. naval blockade, but also the attacks by Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen that targeted Saudi Arabia. Yesterday with ballistic missiles, the president said the United States is in constant communication with the Houthis and that they've agreed not to fight the United States. But again, the big headline here, the president says he isn't- I spoke with one of the top Ansar Allah reporters, Hussein al-Bukhaiti. And al-Bukhaiti's brother, Muhammad al-Bukhaiti, is a governor for Ansar Allah in Yemen and also sits on the main political bureau. So the guy I interviewed, Hussein al-Bukhaiti, in addition to being a top reporter, he's one of the most kind of connected people to leadership in Yemen. regional country continues to dub their double standards towards the islamic republic of iran and aligns themselves with the aggression of the great satan against the powerful islamic iran they will be considered complicit in this evil and they can no longer expect restraint or decency from islam's for from iran's powerful armed forces and so donald trump then sends his sycophants out there like hamburger for my barbecue yesterday was down two dollars from a couple of weeks ago and so i'm seeing uh prices move in the right direction there was a rate hike you know and this is why we need a Only 23% of voters thinking the economy is excellent or good. 12% of voters describing their personal financial situation as getting ahead. Or 62% of voters saying grocery prices are a major problem for their family. Do any of those make you think we've got a problem here? Look, I'm the White House economist. And all I can say is that polls over and over again harm impressions about the economy because they poll way too many Democrats. If you look, for example, at the Michigan survey, that Democrats in the Michigan survey are saying that we've got the worst economy since the Great Depression because they hate President Trump. Republicans are basically seeing what we see, which is a very strong economy with low inflation. GDP now in the third quarter is supposed to be 5%. We just had a blockbuster jobs report. We've got real income growth. We've got huge progress on affordability. Do you realize that the decline in drug prices because of what we've been doing is the largest in 64 years? And so there's so much economic good news. But what happens is that you'll notice that the sort of far left media, what they'll do is instead of letting you talk about the news, giving you the facts like the 5% GDP growth, the large income growth, the $3,000 decline in real incomes under Joe Biden. Instead of talking about that, what they want to do is talk about the fact that we're in the middle of a crisis. And so they want to talk about these Jimmy polls. And I just, I'm not convinced at all. And I can tell you that in the economic literature, the one thing that you see is that what matters in the end is what's in people's pockets. Think about this. One of the worst things that could happen to someone is they get laid off. Additional claims for unemployment insurance are the lowest on record going all the way back to World War II. So people aren't losing their jobs. It's a really strong economy. And rather than talk about the strong economy, people want to talk about these silly polls. No far left media here, Kevin. No, no, but you're saying what they say. Well, but it's the polls. Why don't you put up some facts to say, what do you think about the 5% GDP growth? What do you think about the claims? Lowest ever. What do you think about drug prices? Biggest decline since, you know, in 64 years. That's all I'm saying, Peter. I'm not criticizing you as being partisan. And I totally get it. Look. And there's also structural reasons why the media divides us, because in this social media world now, we're all siloed off and we, we each are pushed towards a very particular vision of the world, often fed by fear. That makes us mistrust each other. But when you're on the ground, what's striking is that I remember the first time I started campaigning in Iowa and look, there is a lot of corn there, uh, that stereotype is true, but you'll go into a rural community in Iowa and discover that here's a town that was founded by, uh, hippies and here's, uh, there's a Orthodox community, uh, you know, uh, Jewish community living side by side, uh, with a bunch of farmers and, and people work together and they, uh, extend grace towards each other in ways that you do not see in your doom scrolling.
