Transfigured into His Image Part 2

This conference message centers on 2 Corinthians 3:18, which declares that believers, with unveiled faces beholding the Lord's glory as in a mirror, are transformed into His image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. The speaker emphasizes that transformation is passive—the Holy Spirit performs it while believers simply behold through the Word. Glory is defined through the Hebrew word "kabod" (weighty, heavy presence of God) and the Greek word "doxa" (descending and distributing), describing God's presence that carries every blessing and distributes specifically to each person's need. Glory is further equated with salvation (soteria), encompassing healing, wholeness, provision, and protection, and with God's goodness, meaning that enjoying His goodness in everyday life—marriage, finances, health—is living in glory. The message contrasts two glories: the ministry of condemnation through the law, which brings death, and the ministry of righteousness through the Spirit, which brings life. Righteousness is presented as a free gift received by faith, not earned by works, following Abraham's example. Through the divine exchange, Jesus took the believer's place of sin and condemnation so believers could take His place of righteousness and sonship. Believers reign in life by constantly receiving and being conscious of this gift of righteousness, which produces peace, prosperity, health, and victory over sin, guilt, and condemnation.

Speaker 1Welcome to the Word Laundry Radio, brought to you by G.W. Arthur Ministries. Enjoy. You finished all things, made all things beautiful. Blessed be your holy name forever. Thank you for who you are, and the great and amazing love you have for us. We bless and praise you. For having blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ. Thank you, dear Lord. You said all things are ours. Thank you that you made us the seed of Abraham. Thank you for your faithfulness, your integrity, your ability. Now I continue. We will worship you. And this blessed evening, we receive light. We receive from you the spirit of wisdom and revelation. In the knowledge of him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened. To know what is the hope of his calling. What the riches of the glory of his inheritance may say. Father, we receive from you. And we are ever blessed and totally transformed. Be exalted amongst us. We praise forever. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Amen. So we read our anchor verse for this conference. 2 Corinthians 3, verse 18. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a glass, or as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image, or transformed into the same image, from glory to glory. Even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. We are changed into the same image, from glory to glory. The word change means transformed or transfigured. See, it's the same word in the Greek. We are transformed or transfigured from glory to glory. How many of you want to be transformed and transfigured from glory to glory? But, the Bible tells us that this transformation or transfiguration is by the Spirit of God. You don't do it. It's the Spirit of God that does it. That's amazing. In fact, in the Greek, it's also in a passive voice. It's someone carrying the action, not you. So the transformation is applied to you. So we don't change our lives. The Spirit of God brings a change. But there's only one thing we do. What we do is to behold. So it is our part to behold. It is His part to transform us. So we do the beholding. So if you want, that's what I preached yesterday, if you want your life to be transformed, you have to behold, through the word. And, if you don't behold, the Holy Spirit has no raw material for your change. So we, we, we, you can make decisions and resolutions to change, but normally it doesn't last. The change that doesn't come from the word, it comes from the Spirit of God. It's transient. It's very fleeting. It's temporal. It can't stand the test of time. So the proper change, every true change, that bears the marks of divinity, must proceed from the word. God does nothing but with His word. Hallelujah. The Bible tells us that we can be changed from glory to glory. Now, hidden in this verse is a total package. Do you know that if you really understand this verse, your life can be very wonderful? It's an all-inclusive package. If you want to enjoy life, you want to enjoy good health, how do you want to enjoy good health? You want to enjoy good health? You want to enjoy peace? You want to enjoy joy? You know? Yeah. You want to have prosperity? You want to have good marriage? You want to walk with God in peace? Enjoy the walk of God? Enjoy serving Him? Fulfilling your purpose? Like what God originally intended for you? Yeah. That is God's forethought. That is why He placed man in Eden. Eden means pleasure. It's His presence. There was no lack in Eden. There was no hurt in Eden. There was no sickness in Eden. There was no worry in Eden. There was no depression. There was no anxiety. So, all these things are not God's purpose. But hidden in this verse is a secret too. Enjoying the best life. It's all around. The best life. Where you are laughing your way through life. A life that overcomes depression, that overcomes anxiety, that overcomes worry. A life that is purposeful. Enjoying God. Enjoying peace. such a good life he gave us. He has given to us all things that pertains to life and godliness. I came that you might have life and have it among abandoned lives. All of these things, all these blessings, they are not far-fetched. They are not distant. They are not, they are real. They are just close to you. And in this verse, as we unpack this verse, they are actually a portion. After this conference, you can walk in all these realities. In practicality, in practice, become yours. Hallelujah. Because that's what God has made available for us. There is one word that describes the totality of God's blessing. You see, almost anything you take, if you pick a word, it can give you a certain description. But there's one word, that is all-encompassing. In that word is the totality of every good thing Jesus gave us. Every good thing for which he died for us. One word describes the totality of God's blessing. The word is called glory. The glory. So he says we are changed or transformed from glory to glory. The word is glory. But what is glory? And it's so wide and so vast to define, but I'll just give you a few definitions. You see, the word is glory. But what is glory? In the Old Testament, which is in Hebrew, the word glory is the word kabod. Kabod. K-A-B-O-D. The word kabod means weight or heaviness. Weight or heaviness. Something that is heavy, something that is weighty. What does it imply to you? Now, kabod describes the presence of God that is heavy with blessings, heavy with God's treasures. The presence of God, like, see the cloud. When a cloud is heavy with water, it empties itself upon the earth. Some clouds are more dense than other clouds. So see, the word glory is the very presence of God, like a cloud, but it's not just a presence, but it is weighty or heavy with every good thing. It's the presence of God that is heavy with healing, heavy with wisdom, heavy with counsel, heavy with joy, peace, abundance. So that thick cloud, that heavy, the heaviness of God's presence in it carries every good thing. That is good for you. Hallelujah. So we call that word kabod. It's the weight of God's presence, the weightiness. But that weightiness is every good thing you'll ever need in your life. That's the weightiness. So we call that what? Kabod. That's glory in the Old Testament. That's the word here. But the New Testament is the word duksa. That's what the pastor said, the duksa effect is duksa. And we can't exhaust the word. It's so wide. It's so wide in usage. But one meaning of the word duksa is the word to descend, to descend, descendment. I can't imagine. Another word for duksa is distribution. It even means good opinion. It has a wide range of meanings. But I want to just pick two for the sake of what I'm talking about. So duksa has a wide range of its glory, but it has a wide range of meaning to descend and to distribute. So you know what happens when you come to church? When we come to church like this, you have to check the service very seriously. Because you know what happens? The glory of God, like a thick cloud, which is heavy with every blessing you can ever have, is in that cloud. It's weighty. But that same glory, you know what happens? The weightiness of the kabod. But we all came to church with our expectations. What you came to church for is different from another person. We all have diverse expectations. So the same glory, the same word duksa, which is descending. Now what does it do? It descends each of us, our need. It will descend your need, each of us what we need. Then it will distribute to you. So duksa is descending. Sending men to discern and to distribute. So, maybe you are looking for healing. When the glory cloud manifests, you want healing. It will discern what you want and distribute healing to you. Maybe for you, three brothers have proposed to you and you are seeking for God's counsel. And what you need is the wisdom of God to make the choice. So, you don't choose by the seeing of your eyes. You don't choose by. And the brothers, you don't choose by physical, vital statistics. Yeah, so it will distribute wisdom to you to make a proper choice. And maybe you've been worried because of what is happening at home. So, what you need is peace. That glory, the duksa, will discern your issue and distribute peace for you. And maybe you are depressed. What you need is joy. It will discern your issue and distribute joy to you. So, the glory in it is whatever is necessary for you. It carries every solution in it. And it will discern specifically and impart to you the blessing. Hallelujah. We call that what? Glory. So, that's a cupboard and a duksa. That's glory. Now, I know the meaning of the word glory. I want us to compare scripture with scripture. Let's go to Isaiah chapter 40. Comfort ye, my people, saith the Lord. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem and cry unto her that the war is over, her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquities pardoned, that she has received the Lord's hand, and she hath paid double for her sons, double for her sons. This is very prophetic and messianic. It tells Jerusalem that she's going to have double payment for her sons. That's what Jesus did. You know, all the sins we committed, Jesus paid double for your sons. Whatever you were owing God, Jesus double paid. He has paid for all your sons till you leave the earth, right, was double. He didn't pay halfway so that you will pay as you go. No. It's not postpaid. It's prepaid. That's right. That's right. Hallelujah. Praise God. All right. Then he says something here. The voice of him that cried out in the wilderness, now he's prophesying about John the Baptist's ministry. Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Everybody, you see, it's amazing, it says that the voice of him that cried in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of Jehovah, of Yahweh. highway for our Elohim so you know Jesus is God this is the minister of John the Baptist and in Isaiah he's introducing who Jesus is Jesus is both Yahweh and he's also Elohim you see that's it prepare ye the way of Yahweh and make street in the desert a highway for our Elohim every valley shall be exalted and every mountain shall be made low and the crooked path shall be made straight and the rough places plain verse 5 says and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it all together so verse 5 says and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed now I want us to see how this verse was quoted in the New Testament then we'll understand what the glory of God is so I want us to go to the book of Luke chapter 3 Luke chapter 3 from verse 4 as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet saying the voice of one crying in the wilderness prepare ye the way of the Lord make his path straight so he's good from Isaiah verse 5 every valley shall be filled every mountain and hill shall be brought low and the crooked shall be made straight and the rough ways shall be made smooth verse 6 and all flesh shall see the salvation of God what has changed so Isaiah says all flesh shall see the glory of the Lord but in a new testament look at the scope of my desire but there's a little twist he says all flesh shall see the salvation of God so the glory of God is a salvation of God so glory is salvation he substituted the word glory for salvation but when we say salvation you are just thinking of leaving hell to not going to hell by going to heaven no that is just a very limited understanding of salvation salvation is not that is huge is the word soteria which is a noun and the word save is sozo it's huge it's not just it's a very big word it's a very big word salvation no salvation it means it's all encompassing soteria for instance in the new testament Jesus says Jesus is the word healed your faith has made you whole he used the word salvation for it the word sozo for it because in the word salvation means healing soteria means healing it means health it means wholeness it means well-being you see it means preservation protection provision so in the word salvation is everything you need so what we say it's soteria salvation it's not simply going to heaven in the Greek that is the third and the fourth definition but according to vines interior salvation is applied more in the Bible for our day-to-day salvation than our eternal salvation so salvation is more of being rescued from it speaks of temporal from danger and apprehension day-to-day rescue day-to-day deliverance that's what salvation is it's used more than our eternal salvation because we live every day and we need saving every day your marriage may need some saving your health may need some saving your pockets may need some saving your bank account may need some saving your heart may need some saving because someone is tempered with your heart maybe you've got a broken heart because your beloved left you you need some saving so we need daily saving you see so salvation is all-encompassing health healing rescuing deliverance provision wholeness well-being preservation protection provision that is soteria so what about this substitute glory for salvation you understand what glory is so he said all flesh has seen the glory of God but it means all flesh has seen the salvation of God so Jesus Christ is salvation personified Jesus Christ is glory personified that's who Jesus is hallelujah praise God so when I say you are seeing the glory of God you know what it means they're going to see health they're going to see healing they're going to see deliverance they're going to see provision they're going to see preservation they're going to see protection that's the glory of God that's the glory of God so just think of what we start talking about from glory to glory you know the grace of peace can be multiplied the Bible says that grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and our Lord Jesus Christ your grace faith think of favor on you multiplying and peace shalom multiplying that's amazing so your health can multiply your favor can multiply so we're talking about glory to glory I pray that the rest of your life will be wonderful wonderful God deliver me from troubles and even if you are in trouble he says I'll be with him in trouble and I'll deliver him and I'll honor him yeah let me give you the third definition for Gloria in Exodus 33 verse 18. Moses said to God I beseech thee O Lord show me thy glory show me your glory and what was God's answer God says you have to read fully to Exodus 34 yeah six seven God says I will make all my goodness pass before thee so Exodus 33 verse 18 19 then you jump to 34. he says I will make all my goodness pass before thee he says show me thy glory show me your glory and God's answer was I will make all my goodness pass before thee so Exodus 33 verse 18. he says I will make all my goodness pass before thee so there too he substituted glory for goodness and I'll be merciful to my merciful I'll be gracious to my with gracious so glory is God's goodness God be merciful to you God's being gracious to you it's God's goodness so if you start enjoying God's goodness in your life you're actually expressing his glory. You see, if the glory of God rests on you, you know what it means? You start enjoying his goodness. Now, if you are enjoying God's goodness in your marriage, you are working in glory. If you are enjoying God's goodness in your finances, you are working in glory. If you are enjoying God's goodness in your business, you are working in glory. If you are enjoying God's goodness in your career, you are working in glory. If you are enjoying God's goodness in your home, you are working in glory. So, those enjoyments of God's goodness is actually called glory. You may be thinking glory is just seeing a vapor or a splendor or a brightness in the sky. But it is very practical to us. When the Bible says, goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life, that's glory. You know what it means, goodness and mercy following you? You know, the word in Hebrew is not follow. It means it will hunt you down. Like a hunter will hunt an animal down. So, goodness and mercy will hunt your life down. You know what it means? Every week you go like, ah, God, you're so good. After three days, ah, God, you're so good. Everything is happening, you go like, hey, God is good. Hey, God. I like the way Pastor Fred will say God is good and he closes his eyes. God is good. God is good. When you eat your best food, you go, wow, this is so nice. I pray you enjoy life that way. Every now and then, you go like, oh, God is good. Every now and then, goodness and mercy is following you. Following you week by week, day after day. Everything, God is so good. You are delivered from accidents, delivered from apprehension, delivered from danger. Just constant deliverance here and there. Things are happening. God is just keeping you, rescuing you. You are full of laughter. You are full of joy. And, that's why I see you going on a vacation with your husband and with your wife. And your husband is going to shower you with gifts. And love. And your husband will not look away left and right. Go in the focus of your husband. Yes. It's all part of God's goodness. If your husband starts looking at side chicks, you have been deprived of a certain level of goodness. But if your husband says to you, you are all fair, my love. There is no spot in B. That's a song of songs. Although you have limitations, your husband sees beyond it. And sees your loveliness. Your loveliness, his loveliness is far beyond your limitations and your faults. If you are not married, that is your prophecy. Receive it well and have the wisdom to marry right. It's also part of the glory. You are enjoying God's business in your business. God's goodness in your business. In your business, you are not getting into debt. You are not borrowing, borrowing, borrowing, borrowing. You are rather the lender. And things seem working, seem working. It's God's glory. God's glory. You know, you enjoy God's goodness before the need arises. The resources are waiting to meet the need. Before the need, the resources are waiting. And now you are so blessed that you don't even think of just yourself. You are thinking of others. That wealth is for others to enjoy. It's for others. You are paying people's rent, people's fees, caring for people. It is just, by now, it's hard to believe for yourself. How can you then believe for others? We are called not to be blessed, but to be a blessing. God's purpose is not that you are blessed. No, he wants you to be a blessing. It must overflow, go beyond you. And now you are taking care of yourself. You are taking care of people. Helping people pay their fees, people pay their rent. You are helping, putting laughter on people. You are filling their heart with joy. That is why you are where you are. You know why you are staying where you are? Just look around, a lot of needs are in your area. You know why God put those needs there? Some of them, he must provide solutions for some of the people. But you know, you need to help yourself. The rescuers must be rescuing themselves before they can rescue. But you have to see, it's just a change of mentality. That's where it begins. Praise God. So that's the glory of God. That's the glory of God. You are supposed to experience the glory. And as I say this today, when you are experiencing the glory, it affects your moral living character. As you are beholding, as the examples I gave. Yeah. Everything changes. You know, there are some Christians who don't even pay light bills.
Speaker 2And they think it's a blessing from God.
Speaker 1But after this movie, you go and pay your light bills. Water bill. It's all part of it. You know, when the Bible says, owe no man anything, people actually don't teach it from context. The verse before, it says, you should pay tribute to whom tribute is due. And custom to whom custom is due. It says, owe no man anything. It's talking about taxes and bills. Wow. That's why he said we should not owe. Aha. So, there's a tax you have not paid. He says, don't owe. Yeah. So, go and pay all your taxes. Go and pay all your bills. Yeah. He said it. Jesus didn't pay one. Understand? Aha. He paid one. So, we are enjoying God. God's character flows through you. His glory. His glory. In the Old Testament, there's a certain furniture which was a representation of God's glory. We call that the Ark of the Covenant. In fact, in Psalm 78 verse 61, it says, The Ark of the Covenant is an ark. The Ark of the Covenant is an ark. she was ceremonially unclean and to go into public she had to break the Levitical law because in the Bible if you have a discharge we're not supposed to go public so it took a lot of courage for this woman to go public she has had a discharge because when the people see her what she had they will stone her to death the result is stoning so what to give her confidence to go to Jesus she knew that Jesus was someone who was different from the Pharisees he couldn't have run to the Pharisees they would stone her to death because she had broken the Levitical law but she saw something in Jesus that could make her take that courage to run to him she saw Jesus by what she has heard of Jesus to be compassionate to be merciful unlike the scribes and Pharisees there is something she saw about Jesus that may give her the confidence and she hid herself and went through the crowd and tapped the hem and then she was healed that's amazing and Jesus said where to has gone out of me she hid herself if you check the Bible the Bible says Jesus' tent because her back was facing him his back was facing him and Jesus called her the only person Jesus called her daughter she doesn't want her to feel that she stole a blessing she wants her to know that it is her right and she wants her to feel loved Jesus called her daughter if Jesus was a Pharisee that was the time to stone her because according to the law she has to be stoned Jesus blessed her and said your faith has made you whole go in peace that's not a Greek it's not M it's I it's go into peace go into peace what a blessing that means she has had no peace for about 12 years you know when you have no peace and you are full of worry and anxiety you can hardly experience healing Jesus blessed her and said go into peace haven't seen the excellencies and glory the glory of Jesus it was easy for her actually never was easy for her to go into peace haven't seen the excellencies and glory the glory of Jesus it was easy for her actually never was easy for her actually never was easy for her actually never was easy for her to go into peace Jesus it was easy for her I said never what I've seen in the world I seen Jesus and his glory to transform your life hallelujah hallelujah now what does it mean to change from glory to glory but we all with an unveiled face beholding us in a glass or a mirror we are transformed changed transfigured into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit
Speaker 3of the Lord now let's go to verse 7 the same chapter of verse 7 but if the
Speaker 1ministration of death written and engraved in stones was glorious so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance which glory was to be done away how shall not the ministration of the Spirit be rather glorious for if the ministration of condemnation be glory much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceeding glory for even that which was made glorious had no glory at all had no glory in this respect by reason of the glory that's exceeded so he's comparing two kinds of kinds of glory in the whole text he's comparing two kinds of glory now the whole chapter compares the Old Testament and the New Testament you see he says we are ministers of the new covenant not by the letter but by the Spirit the letter given by the Spirit given by life then from verse 7 he's comparing the content of the old covenant in the content of the New Testament then he says that he compared two kinds of glory he says for if the glory of condemnation be glory much more does the ministration if the ministration of condemnation be glory much more does the ministration of righteousness exceeding glory so he's talking about the glory of condemnation and the glory of righteousness so from glory to glory in context is moving from the glory of condemnation into the glory of righteousness in context because he's contrasted two kinds of glory from verse 7 verse 8 verse 9 he's comparing two kinds of glory the glory that came from the law which is the glory of condemnation against the glory the glory that came from the spirit which is the glory of righteousness these are the two kinds of glories and what they give us so he ended by saying the result is that one will behold his glory we are now changed from one glory to another glory that's from glory to glory from the glory of condemnation to the glory to
Speaker 4glory from the
Speaker 1glory of condemnation to the glory of righteousness so pay attention let's explore how you can move from one realm of glory to another glory so pay attention let's explore how you can move from one realm of glory to another glory to another realm of glory hallelujah from the seven realm of glory hallelujah from the seven realm of glory hallelujah from the seven he calls the new testament the old he calls the new testament the old he calls the new testament the old testament that's the way he calls all testament that's the way he calls all testament that's the way he calls all just there are two designations for the just there are two designations for the just there are two designations for the old testament he sees that if the old testament he sees that if the old testament he sees that if the administration of death administration of death administration of death he calls the old testament demonstration of he calls the old testament demonstration of he calls the old testament demonstration of death death death written and engraving stones written and engraving stones written and engraving stones was glorious what was written in stones was glorious what was written in stones was glorious what was written in stones the ten commandments the ten commandments the ten commandments he called the ten commandment he called the ten commandment he called the
Speaker 2ten commandment demonstration
Speaker 1of death i've never thought of that before i've never thought of that before i've never thought of that before if we understand this verse you're not if we understand this verse you're not if we understand this verse you're not putting a commandment in your school you putting a commandment in your school you putting a commandment in your
Speaker 2school you put john 3 16
Speaker 1in your school yes yes yes it's good but i will show you why it it's good but i will show you why it it's good but i will show you why it ministers there ministers there it's good but it means there's death so the it's good but it means there's death so the it's good but it means there's death so the bible says a demonstration of death bible says a demonstration of death bible says a demonstration of death written and engraved in stones was written and engraved in stones was written and engraved in stones was glorious so even what gave death was glorious so even what gave death was glorious so even what gave death was glorious okay glorious okay glorious okay so that the children of israel could not so that the children of israel could not so that the children of israel could not steadfastly behold the face of moses steadfastly behold the face of moses steadfastly behold the face of moses for the glory of his countenance which for the glory of his countenance which for the glory of his countenance which glory was to be done away the nlt says glory was to be done away the nlt says glory was to be done away the nlt says which glory was fading which glory was fading which glory was fading the word then away means fading the greek the word then away means fading the greek the word then away means fading the greek says constantly fading says constantly fading says constantly fading then it says how shall not the then it says how shall not the then it says how shall not the administration of the spirit be rather administration of the spirit be rather administration of the spirit be rather glorious so glorious so glorious so the oldest one is called the administration the oldest one is called the administration the oldest one is called the administration of death and it has got what of death and it has got what of death and it has got what demonstration of the spirit and it says if the administration of condemnation the glory so the administration of death is also the initial condemnation much more than the administration or the ministry of righteousness exceeding glory so the old testament is given two names the administration the ministry of death and the ministry of what condemnation the new testament is given two names the ministry of the spirit and the minister of righteousness hallelujah praise god so old testament the ministry of what death and what condemnation new testament spirit you are good students and all these are connected what it means is that if you take the old testament it will condemn you and kill you so it is condemnation and death the new testament when you know your righteousness in christ there's a supply of the spirit to you yeah praise god let me pick it one one by one so let me talk about the old testament why is the oldest one called the ministry of death or the administration of condemnation well we know he's a law now he calls the ten commandments demonstration of death what a shock how can that shall not kill that shall not commit adultery that shall not steal how can distance the administration of death so why people find it difficult to believe to understand some of these things in the holy book i think it's good but the mouse is it's missing but the very first day moses took the law and descended the mountain when they came they had broke the first one already remember god verbally told them the law before it was written and they said all that we have to that we will do so they pledged they're going to do it but my time was just came down they had already broken the first one they were committed to idolatry and three thousand died the law the very first day three thousand died the actual minister death but what does it mean for the commandments to minister death listen there is no problem with the law because about in in in romans 7 verse 12 the balance of the commandments and the law it is holy just and good the law is holy the law is holy just and good there's no problem with the law but it's a problem with me and the law cannot help me okay so the law becomes useless and i want to read hebrew verse 18. the bible says the law is useless they didn't profit that's by the bringing in of a better hope deed for the law paid nothing perfect the greek says the lord didn't make one thing perfect but the bringing in of a better hope deed by which the lord made nothing perfect but the bringing in of a better hope deed by which the lord made nothing perfect god i have to go god i have to go god i have to go now the law is like a mirror now the law is like a mirror now the law is like a mirror how many of you ladies how many of you ladies how many of you ladies stood in the mirror to work on your makeup before coming to church thank you very much I was expecting a young ladies to wave their hands okay I'm seeing a little right now the mural will show you that there's sometimes after my wife has done her makeup she asked me access me when everything is fine but if the light is nowhere I mean if the lights not shining well it's not very bright the parts of your face can be tickly can be dense than up the other part because the light the dim light can give you false yes impressions so if you go to get a light ago like a this part of your face it's looking like a camera to be this but you know the mirror can show you what is wrong with you I can never help you fix
Speaker 4it the book will
Speaker 1point and show you all your mistakes I can never help you know that's how the lawyers the law is like a mirror that to show you all your mistakes but will not help you fix it and condemn you for not fixing it that's nothing wrong with the law it just showed you your mistakes what the law could not do it was weak through the flesh it shows me my errors but cannot help me then give another scenario if I have a glass of glass of water here on this podium and let's say that there is sediment deaths under the glass of water you know if I have a water and there are impurities in there in the glass after while it settles if there's a lot of debt in the glass it will settle under the top of the water I mean beneath is dirty but the above is pure and clear yeah just have that's the initial image and I think that's the first thing that you need to do is to have a glass of water the first thing you need to do is to have a glass of water and the second thing you need to do is to have a glass of water yeah just have that's the initial image that is how the flesh is your flesh see when you're born again your flesh is not born again what is born of the spirit is spirit the spirit has a life of God but this flesh still has wrong designs so it says work in the spirit and it shall not fulfill the last of the flesh it still has last in fact there's something in the flesh yes the flesh the old man is different from the flesh if I in Christ old man is dead but the old man left its deposits in the flesh its strongholds and its habits in the flesh you know when Abraham Lincoln declared emancipation for the slaves it took many years for the slaves to believe that they were degraded they were still acting as slaves the old man is dead but the flesh has the deposit of the flesh and the mind and the strongholds and you know the habits of the old man so there's sin in the flesh okay that is why there are some things the Bible says flee no matter how you have prayed it is the Bible says flee because the flesh even the apostle Paul says I know that in my flesh that is in me that is to say in my flesh dwelleth no good thing but there's no good thing in this man there's no good name is mesh all good things are in the spirit if Christ be in you the body is dead because of sin but the spirit is life because of righteousness so this one is actually dead but when you know how to release a life the life can be supplied to your body you can walk in life and health but actually what is there because of sin please do you understand so this is it so we have the glass of water but there is a kind of sedimentation the upper part of that of the glass is pure water so you are fine though there's sin in the flesh nobody sees it you are working the good life serving God in holiness then the law is giving you thou shalt not the Lord's like a mixing spoon I shall not do this the law you know what the law does it will quiet your flesh to respond to a big old and when your flesh tries to be God the law will stay the sedimentation and the desires rather shows up so what you don't want to do you don't come a victim to do it so the motions of the flesh they are aroused by the law the Bible say so it is dead for instance if someone give an instruction and says that there's this door nobody should open the door all night really you you always pass by but the day you see this instruction you shouldn't open this door or go inside whenever you are going to begin to linger
Speaker 4hey what is
Speaker 1this day your curiosity
Speaker 4arises shall we but when there
Speaker 1was no law there was kind of freedom you were not conscious of it but the moment you are told a certain hotel in America gave a certain inscription says the moment they put it there they had law breakers but prior to this instruction nobody even violated it that's how the noise that is why the law is good I only preach do not do this do not you do not commit adultery you do have people try to use their strength not to do it and it can victim and they are enslaved first Corinthians 15 verse 56 it's a very interesting scripture the Bible says the strength of son is the law can you just imagine the strength of son is the law that the Greek says they were dunamis the dunamis you know dunamis you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you the dunamis of son is the law so dunamis is an ability that is kept a kind of capacity to reproduce itself a dynamic ability for something to produce itself so when the law is introduced to you the strength of sin in the law it stays you up now what you don't have to do you become a slave to it so many people are sincere we shouldn't sin and there are many people every genuine believer is sincere we shouldn't sin but the method is mostly wrong the method doesn't give us the results we need the method actually enslaves us and causes us to fight fight fight fight temporary success we succeed and we fall because the law is introduced
Speaker 2again for what
Speaker 1the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh Romans 8 verse 3 and 4 it was weak to the flesh cannot have you ever read pilgrim's progress watch a video about pilgrim's progress many years ago as only we are in a room and the room is very dusty let's say that we are heaps of dust do you know that we can be alright except in the dust we are alright but as soon as someone takes a broom to say we have to sweep the dirt and start sweeping the dust you know what will happen to us we all start choking you know so in the pilgrim's progress they were in a certain hall and someone said the place is dirty they should sweep and the guy began to sweep and the rest could and they were almost done the broom is the law what the law does is that it only sets up the sediment of sin in the flesh and begins to choke you and kills you so God's solution is not the law responding to your flesh the solution is what he has done in your spirit coming out because anytime you try to use your strength and ability you are enslaved to the sin that you are trying to avoid the law is like a the medical x-ray it can show you a fractured bone you know the fault but it will never help you to never solve the issue so the law is a mirror to show your fault I will let it to leave you handicapped praise God so the nature of the law is that it is holy it is just and good but the function of the law is that it is weak in helping me and instead of the law helping me it exposes my flesh and makes me a victim of the son please I following so the law will condemn you because it showed you what you should have you should do I couldn't help you and when you feel it condemns you so we have the administration of death let me briefly describe what is called administration of righteousness hallelujah what I said we want that one yes it is that well I hear with me I'm showing how you can enjoy glory it seems technical but it's not if you follow what is there the ministry or the administration of righteousness in the new testament righteousness is far different from the old testament righteousness in the new testament is a gift it's a gift so let me use two scenarios to describe what righteousness is romans chapter six sorry romans chapter four romans chapter four what shall we see there that abraham our father has pretended the flesh has found for if abraham were justified by works he has swear of the glory but not before god but what says the scripture abraham believed in god and it was counted to him for righteousness it was the greeks it was accredited into his account it's like a teller putting money into your account when he believed in god god took his righteousness and deposited it in abraham's spiritual back account because he believed now to him that wicked now to him that wicked is a reward not reckoned of grace but of death but to him that wicked not but believe it on him that justified the ungodly his faith is counted for righteousness after all of these things he says that please i follow you yes or you are gone home you are in church now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace but of death what does it mean now he's using working terms now assuming you are a worker and you work to the end of the month your salary must be giving you your wages must be giving you now you work very hard and at the end of the month you deserve of you've earned your salary and your boss calls you he's going to give you the salary and you work very hard and at the end of the month you deserve of you've earned your salary and your boss calls you the boss says i have a surprise for you i have a surprise for you i have a surprise for you close your eyes close your eyes close your eyes close your eyes close your eyes close your eyes i have a surprise for you then i have a surprise for you then i have a surprise for you then your boss takes your salary your boss takes your salary your boss takes your salary and just open your eyes i have a gift from and just open your eyes i have a gift from and just open your eyes i have a gift
Speaker 4from you your salary
Speaker 1you you your salary
Speaker 4your salary your
Speaker 1salary how can this be a
Speaker 4gift yes i have a big
Speaker 1how can this be a gift yes i have a big how can this be a gift yes i have a big favor to show you favor to show you favor to show you it's not a favor yeah i worked for it it's not a favor yeah i worked for it it's not a favor yeah i worked for it so the bible says that if you work for so the bible says that if you work for so the bible says that if you work for something something something if you work for me at the end of the if you work for me at the end of the if you work for me at the end of the month i'm owing you it's debt month i'm owing you it's debt month i'm owing you it's debt so i'm owing you payment okay so i'm owing you it's debt so i'm owing you payment okay but if it didn't work for me but if it didn't work for me but if it didn't work for me it didn't work for me and i called you it didn't work for me and i called you it didn't work for me and i called you i have a surprise for you i have a surprise for you i have a surprise for you close your eyes and when you open up your close your eyes and when you open up your close your eyes and when you open up your eyes it was a brand new car eyes it was a brand new car eyes it was a brand new car it's just a gift
Speaker 4it's just a gift
Speaker 1it's just a gift hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah you're not receiving it was this the you're not receiving it was this the
Speaker 4you're not receiving it was this the session just received her car
Speaker 1so that's what you never went for which so that's what you never went for which so that's what you never went for which one do you like so what the bible is saying is that so what the bible is saying is that so what the bible is saying is that concerning righteousness concerning righteousness concerning righteousness and it shows us how abraham received and it shows us how abraham received and it shows us how abraham received became righteous became righteous became righteous and abraham said what shall we say then and abraham said what shall we say then and abraham said what shall we say then that abraham our father has pretended to that abraham our father has pretended to that abraham our father has pretended to the flesh has found what did abraham find the flesh has found what did abraham find the flesh has found what did abraham find he said if abraham was made righteous he said if abraham was made righteous he said if abraham was made righteous by what he did by what he did by what he did he has something to boast about but what he has something to boast about but what he has something to boast about but what does the scripture say does the scripture say does the scripture say abraham believed in god and god put his abraham believed in god and god put his abraham believed in god and god put his righteousness into his account righteousness into his account righteousness into his account now to him that worketh is a reward reckoned update but what it is a reward reckoned update but what it is a reward reckoned update but what it means is that means is that means is that so now there are two ways to get so now there are two ways to get so now there are two ways to get righteous to receive righteousness either righteous to receive righteousness either righteous to receive righteousness either by working for it or by receiving it as by working for it or by receiving it as by working for it or by receiving it as a gift a gift a gift okay so if you try to say i'm living okay so if you try to say i'm living okay so if you try to say i'm living very well for very well for very well for and you live very well and you stand and you live very well and you stand and you live very well and you stand before god then god is calling you he before god then god is calling you he before god then god is calling you he must give you the payment of must give you the payment of must give you the payment of righteousness righteousness righteousness he must give you righteousness right you see he must give you righteousness right you see he must give you righteousness right you see before they give you the pay before they give you the pay before they give you the pay so if god is owing you and he has to pay so if god is owing you and he has to pay so if god is owing you and he has to pay you righteousness of what you have done you righteousness of what you have done you righteousness of what you have done you know god's standard he'll bring jesus you know god's standard he'll bring jesus you know god's standard he'll bring jesus if you don't measure up to jesus if you don't measure up to jesus if you don't measure up to jesus it's cancelled because jesus is a it's cancelled because jesus is a it's cancelled because jesus is a standard standard standard of righteousness to receive that pay of righteousness to receive that pay of righteousness to receive that pay and it means that every thought and it means that every thought and it means that every thought every word every action every word every action every word every action you must be holy you must be pure you you must be holy you must be pure you you must be holy you must be pure you must be righteous in your thoughts must be righteous in your thoughts must be righteous in your thoughts in your thoughts in your word in your in your thoughts in your word in your in your thoughts in your word in your action 60 seconds a minute action 60 seconds a minute action 60 seconds a minute 60 minutes an hour for the rest of your 60 minutes an hour for the rest of your 60 minutes an hour for the rest of your life life life so if you don't measure up so if you don't measure up so if you don't measure up there's no payment for you so that is how to end righteousness that is why there's another way it's a that is why there's another way it's a that is why there's another way it's a free gift free gift free gift if you believe and we are told everyone if you believe and we are told everyone if you believe and we are told everyone believed and he had his free gift believed and he had his free gift believed and he had his free gift that god sees you as righteous and it's that god sees you as righteous and it's that god sees you as righteous and it's a gift a gift a gift which
Speaker 2one do you like which one do you like

Speaker 2and the incentive your mother conceived
Speaker 1and the incentive your mother conceived yeah so you were born in sin yeah so you were born in sin yeah so you were born in sin defiled you know those you knew no sin defiled you know those you knew no sin defiled you know those you knew no sin and you know no righteousness you need no and you know no righteousness you need no and you know no righteousness you need no righteousness in you is no righteousness righteousness in you is no righteousness righteousness in you is no righteousness you did no righteousness you are twice dead guilty you are twice dead guilty you are twice dead guilty condemned okay condemned okay condemned okay this is you this is jesus the bible says this is you this is jesus the bible says this is you this is jesus the bible says he has made him jesus to be seen for us he has made him jesus to be seen for us he has made him jesus to be seen for us when he knows that we might become so when he knows that we might become so when he knows that we might become so it's an exchange what it means is that it's an exchange what it means is that it's an exchange what it means is that the righteous one took your place that the righteous one took your place that the righteous one took your place that he might take his place he might take his place he might take his place so this is what happened he was made so this is what happened he was made so this is what happened he was made son how can such son how can such son how can such do you understand jesus is the trice holy do you understand jesus is the trice holy do you understand jesus is the trice holy god god god jesus is the very god of their god for him jesus is the very god of their god for him jesus is the very god of their god for him to be made son to be made son to be made son we don't understand we are born and soon we don't understand we are born and soon we don't understand we are born and soon so we don't really understand what it's so we don't really understand what it's so we don't really understand what it's made made made what it means to be made so jesus what it means to be made so jesus what it means to be made so jesus now no please you you didn't find him he now no please you you didn't find him he now no please you you didn't find him he found him found him found him jesus now jesus now jesus now took your place took your place took your place he took your place he took your place he took your place and on the cross and on the cross and on the cross don't think jesus was dying for himself don't think jesus was dying for himself don't think jesus was dying for himself he was dying for you he was dying for you he was dying for you whatever he was going through was was in whatever he was going through was was in whatever he was going through was was in your place your place your place so on the cross so on the cross so on the cross you know what happened god saw him as you you know what happened god saw him as you you know what happened god saw him as you god saw him as you because all your god saw him as you because all your god saw him as you because all your sins came up with him sins came up with him sins came up with him and he received what you deserved and he received what you deserved and he received what you deserved now serious now serious now serious he received what you deserved he received what you deserved he received what you deserved he took your place he took your place he took your place then god saw him as you then god saw him as you then god saw him as you it's amazing all of god's wrath came it's amazing all of god's wrath came it's amazing all of god's wrath came on my hand all of all the case all the on my hand all of all the case all the on my hand all of all the case all the judgments all the condemnation came upon judgments all the condemnation came upon judgments all the condemnation came upon him because it was he was in your place him because it was he was in your place him because it was he was in your place so god saw him as you but that wasn't so god saw him as you but that wasn't so god saw him as you but that wasn't the end of the story and the most the end of the story and the most the end of the story and the most amazing thing is that he took your place amazing thing is that he took your place amazing thing is that he
Speaker 2took your place and god brought you to his place
Speaker 1do you know who we are now and where we do you know who we are now and where we are now are now are now god brought it to his place god brought it to his place god brought it to his place but to him that worketh not but believe but to him that worketh not but believe but to him that worketh not but believe believe it on him who justified the believe it on him who justified the believe it on him who justified the ongoing Do you understand? He doesn't justify the godly. He justifies the ungodly. It's like you are ungodly. It's like you are a wicked guy. You are a sinner. You are a murderer. You are a humanizer. I'm not saying you are. Then he justifies. You know justification is not forgiveness. It's higher than forgiveness. If you go to court and the judge says you are justified, if the judge says you are forgiven, you know what it means. It means you committed offence. But during the time of amnesty, the court is going to show you mercy. That's forgiveness. But justified means just as if you are a sinner. The judge says, what are you doing here? There's nothing you have done. What are you doing here? You are not guilty. If you are not guilty, you didn't do it. Not guilty, acquitted. Discharged. So how can the ungodly be justified? How can the ungodly be justified? God tells the ungodly there's nothing you have done. You have never sinned before. Justification means you are a righteous man who has never sinned. But we know you. We know you. How can you say I want
Speaker 4to show you what
Speaker 1the black Jesus did. The reason why he justified the ungodly is because an innocent victim took his place and bore every iota of judgment he was supposed to bear so he could go scot-free. Hallelujah. That is a righteous foundation for which you can be. God doesn't close his eyes and soak your sins under the carpet. No. Every one of them is judged. But someone took the judgment here. Please. God is inflexibly just. He's inflexibly just. So another person took your judgment so you could go free. He must be just and justified of the one who believes in Jesus. If God hasn't justified the ungodly God himself becomes ungodly
Speaker 2because the punishment
Speaker 1has been borne by an honor. Now the good news is that when he took his place he took his place that we might be made a righteous man. Jesus is a righteousness of God. But because he didn't become a sinner he became a son. He was made a son, not a sinner so that we can be made the righteousness of God in him. He is the righteousness of God. He became a son. He became a son. So we have taken his place. When he was here, God treated him as you. Now that you are here, God is treating you as him. I'm telling you now you are in his place. Righteousness means you are in the son's place. You are in the place of the son. Every privilege the son deserves is now put into your account. That is what it means. Who he is, what he is is credited into your account. That is called the gift of righteousness. If you are conscious of this position all our problems is that we are not conscious of this place. We have been given a new place. Therefore, being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand. There is a place we stand. It is of grace now. Of favor now. Into this favor ground wherein we stand. The way we stand is the permanent. It's a permanent standing. We are permanently on the grace ground. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. That is where you are now. You are, where are you? You are in his place. Yesterday I told you that when Jesus says in my name we should pray in his name. In that day you shall ask me nothing. But also you shall ask the Father in my name. And we know what it means we pray in the name of Jesus. But I say this today that it's beyond that. An example is why did Apostle Paul in all of his prayers in the epistles never conclude with in Jesus' name? He prayed for the spirit of wisdom and revelation and all that long prayed never ended with in Jesus' name. In Philippians he prayed he never ended with in Jesus' name. In Colossians he prayed he never ended with in Jesus' name. In Thessalonians he prayed he never ended with in Jesus' name. Why is Paul malignant with what Jesus said? So to pray in my name I said it's not just using it's facts, it's very important. But to pray in his name means pray as if you are in my position. And that's where you are. Pray as if you are in his place. You know you're beginning to work in dominion. That when you are speaking see yourself as though Jesus himself is speaking. And there is no devil. The devil that can stand before you is not yet born. Because you are in his place. That consciousness will release power and authority. That ground you are in is called righteousness. When he took your place God didn't spare you. God didn't spare him. Every judgment came upon him. Nothing left God's eye. If God even had to turn his back to him because he had taken your place. Now that you are in his place you have to make sure God doesn't spare you. But what do I mean? Make sure that everything he deserves. God is entitled to treat you as his son. That's right. It's not by earning and deserving. It's by believing and receiving. Because the transaction, the holy transaction is already done. You are the righteousness of God. He blesses you. Hallelujah. Thank you sir. Thank you very much. Hallelujah. All right. Now let's go to the text. 2 Corinthians 3, from verse 8.
Speaker 2Verse 7 says if the
Speaker 1administration of death, written and engraved in stones was glorious so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance, which glory was to be done away, how shall not the administration of the Spirit be rather glorious? Then verse 8 says if the administration of condemnation be what? Be glory. Much more does the administration of righteousness what? Exceed in glory. So we are comparing two different kinds of glory. I'm telling you that the Bible says we are changed from glory to glory. It's from the glory of condemnation to the glory of righteousness. Because he's contrasting two kinds of glories. So there's a glory of condemnation. If the glory of condemnation be glory, what does it mean? Sorry, if the ministry of condemnation be glory, what does it mean? Now the Greek actually says if the administration of condemnation, came in glory. Okay, okay. It's the same as in verse 7. If the administration of death was glorious, actually it is came in glory. Okay. Now if the administration of condemnation came in glory, what does it mean? How many of you came to church with taxis or Ubers or any other car? All right, some answer. Now if I ask you a question, how did you come to church? And you say, I didn't come to church. I came with Uber or taxi. It means the Uber doesn't belong to you. Yeah. It was a means for you to reach here, but it's not for you. The ministration of condemnation came in glory. Okay, okay. It came in glory. Then the Bible says, much more does the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. So you came in a taxi. The taxi is gone. Okay. That's how the glory that came with the Lord faded. But it says the ministration of righteousness exceed means it abounds in glory. So if I say this guy's abounding in curse, he's abounding in curse, what does it mean? He has a lot of curse, has a lot of curse. So the ministration of condemnation came in glory, but this righteousness we spoke about, it exceeded glory. It has so much glory. So much glory. It's like a river that has broken its banks. Follow me carefully. The next verse says that, the next verse says, but even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect. By reason of the glory that's exceeded. So he's still comparing the two glory. The condemnation, when the Lord was given it came with glory. So why? It was powerful. Look at what happened in Mount Sinai. The glory was amazing. The mountain shook. It came in glory. But the Bible says that though it was glorious, if you compare it to the glory of righteousness, what we think was glory, it's no glory at all when you compare the glory in this respect. It's not glory. It's like in the night, the torch light is very important in the night. If there is light off and
Speaker 4you have the torch
Speaker 1light, you have an asset. You can navigate around your home. But when the sun shines, the torch light has lost its value. So the first glory is like the torch light to give illumination by the sun of righteousness. When you are under the law, the glory fades. What it means is that whenever you are trying to use your strength to end god's favor your strength to save god to please god you know what happens it affects you the glory of your life begins to fade that means it affects your health your health goes bad the finances goes bad can even affect your marriage it can affect your career it can affect your business because the glory fits but i want to show you how you can they can enjoy life more so the bible says that righteousness the glory of the lord have no glory at all in this respect by the reason of the glory that excelled he called righteousness the excelling glory the glory that excelled i like the king james say excel it say excel it excel
Speaker 2it now for those of
Speaker 1you who love king james whenever you read king james and his church you will see that the glory of the lord is excelling in the glory of the lord the glory of the lord is excelling for those of you who love king james whenever you read king james and his church you will see that the glory of the lord is excelling for those of you who love king james you see the the suffix e-e-e-t-h excel left okay you see the e-t-h yes the suffix e-t-h describe that the word you are reading it said it's in a continuous and a repeated action okay it's a continuous and a repeated action so it is excellent and excellent excellent next time yeah it's a continuous and a repeated action whenever you you see the it the suffix e-t-h so the glory that's the excel ones is always excelling wow wow now there is a glory that is excelling in fact the greek word is the word hupabaloo now hupabaloo is where we get the word hyperbole okay you know what hyperbole is it's like an exaggeration that's what it's not an exaggeration it shows you how monstrous the glory is wow hupabaloo is that which is above beyond and over extra that which is above and beyond and over beyond and over it is a degree that exceeds extraordinary that which is above beyond and over with a letter on top of it a degree that exceeds extraordinary and in the greek it is in the presence active tense okay that means present tense in the greek is an action in the present time in a continual fashion that means the glory is ever increasing increasing increasing increasing increasing excellent increasing what he's saying is that when you are conscious of your righteousness in christ the place you have been brought to if you are conscious of that righteousness you'll be able to experience the excelling glory what does it mean if the glory is excelling the glory is always increasing i told you what glory is and the word glory is a substitute for the word salvation and the world salvation is superior which is an all-encompassing thing so we have the word health the word prosperity the word wholeness the word well-being the word provision protection preservation if the glory is excelling the glory is enjoying god's goodness in your life if the glory is excelling that means the rate at which i'm enjoying god's goodness in my life is always narrowing everywhere i pass goodness is following me everywhere i take mercy is following me everywhere my health is increasing my prosperity is increasing my finances are increasing my marriage is becoming
Speaker 4better my wife is becoming beautiful everything is excelling there is an economic increase financial increase there is abundance there is well-being my character is becoming better and better every day everything around me and about me is excelling and it's changing there is a glory that exited there is a glory that is increasing it's an excellent glory an excelling glory and my increasing glory you are full of life and goodness will happen to you your boss will call you and tell you something good your husband will call you and tell you something good it's always good coming your way because you don't deserve it you are receiving what jesus deserves because he receives what you deserve now you are receiving what he deserves you are in the same place you are in the place of the sun it is not by ending it's not by deserving it's by believing it's by receiving and for the promise that he should be the heir of the world was to abraham and to his seed through the law but through the righteousness of faith by righteousness of faith we obtain the promise by righteousness of faith we obtain the promise for if the inheritance be of the law faith is made void and the promise of man effect the inheritance is not of the law it's not by receiving is made void and the promise of man effect the inheritance is not of the law it's by faith it is by faith it is of faith that it might be by grace we receive and believe him believe in who you are you are the righteousness of god even if god that justifies the ungodly the righteousness of god even they go to glory to glory from glory to glory for striving i know you are striving to make it alive they go to glory to glory for striving i know you are striving to make it financial you are struggling to make it financial you are struggling to make it financial you are struggling in your health in your health in your health but there is a glory one is forceful but there is a glory one is forceful but there is a glory one is forceful you don't have to strive you don't have to you don't have to strive you don't have to you don't have to strive you don't have to strive strive strive we don't have to stress there is a glory we don't have to strive we don't have to stress there is a glory in the glory of righteousness the glory the glory how do we inherit the world the bible says that the promise that he should inherit the world was not given to everyone through the law but through the righteousness of faith we possess the world not by the law but by righteousness of faith because it is our inheritance the glory that increases we know who you are in christ you are the righteousness of god in christ righteousness of god in christ righteousness of god in christ and when you are close to your place in and when you are close to your place in and when you are close to your place in christ christ christ you are in his place whatever he you are in his place whatever he you are in his place whatever he deserves is yours deserves is yours deserves is yours it's a free gift we don't end it it's a it's a free gift we don't end it it's a it's a free gift we don't end it it's a free gift whatever is his is mine free gift whatever is his is mine free gift whatever is his is mine all things are yours whatever is his is all things are yours whatever is his is all things are yours whatever is his is yours yours yours and has raised us up together and and has raised us up together and and has raised us up together and brought us together in heavenly brought us together in heavenly brought us together in heavenly places in christ places in christ places in christ he's a tech of mine as i've shown it he's a tech of mine as i've shown it he's a tech of mine as i've shown it on to you on to you on to you we are equal as what belongs to him we are equal as what belongs to him we are equal as what belongs to him belongs to me belongs to me belongs to me that is jesus the son of the living that is jesus the son of the living that is jesus the son of the living god god god thank you jesus thank you jesus thank you jesus
Speaker 2listen but we all with an unveiled face
Speaker 1beholding us in a mirror of the glory of the lord we are transformed into the same image you see the word transform is metamorphosis that's why we get about the metamorphosis it's two words meta means change and morphine means form so it's change of form like a caterpillar can be transformed into a butterfly now listen this transformation that's what it means you see what is inside you can you bring it down a little bit what is inside you is different from what is outside you know your spirit is born again it's like a twin of jesus okay as he is away in this world is clothed with his holiness is clothed with his righteousness it is created according to who god is and have put on the new man which after god which after god you see which according to what god is has been created so listen transformation is what is inside you coming out that's i like how man of god used the word transfiguration like when jesus was on the month of transgression his government lighted like the sun that no flaw on ethical where did it come from it came from within so is the glory within showing forth and jesus became transfigured wow so this change is not something you don't have it's not something you don't have it's what is inside your spirit manifesting externally so what is inside comes out so anything you read and you see jesus listen when you see jesus everything you say about jesus is the express will of god for your life jesus is the prototype we are his duplication anything you say about jesus it's like recently i had a new car it was so sophisticated i didn't know how to use it i had to go on youtube to find out how to use it but i have it already yes i need to know how to use it whatever you see in jesus that lady is already in your state so the transformation is something coming from outside to show forth so all that you read you really read where is the power coming from it's already within he's showing you who you are whatever you see him to be is already within you wow so it is to bring beholding is you are not just beholding the greek says beholding and reflecting whatever you behold you reflect like a mirror does a mirror it's not just for beholding mirror reflect the greek says like a so as you are seeing you are reflecting the same as you see you reflect it the same because he is your righteousness and that righteousness is in you so you reflect his life so it will not be difficult to have a clean character it will not be difficult to work in holiness it will not be difficult to work in godliness whatever i said yesterday concerning beholding him the reality is in you you just need the manifestation the unveiling the revealing then you begin to see that you are reflecting that life you said one day i was using a certain car and someone told him that do you know the ability of this car after the person after i have received the information i sat in a car come and see speed now i've received an upgraded information i started speeding wow i said so that's what i was using that's what it is you have no idea what is in you but as you see jesus go like wow as he is so are you in this world and he has given us his place if he gave us his place he can laugh like he did you can forgive like he did that's what it means as i said yesterday how he showed mercy how he showed compassion how he was interrupted but he loved they forsook him but he went following seeking after them how he forgave how all this ability is within him as you see it and ponder you reflect the same because that righteousness is with him already hallelujah praise the
Speaker 2lord he sees them
Speaker 1if the administration of condemnation the glory my any time you are working in guilt and condemnation it means it frees supposes you have been under the law yeah okay yeah you have to live your life without guilt the believer shouldn't live in sin when a sheep falls into death it wants to come out yeah but when a pig falls into death oh i'm home wow that's like the pics the pig says i'm home everybody is never comfortable in that environment because that's not your nature but i think it's comfortable what is your nature that righteousness nature is not consistent with you'll not be comfortable because that's that's not your life that's not you but you see guilt or condemnation reduces the glory when you start working in condemnation there is something you did you're not embracing what the blood has done for you the glory will start waning and fading the word condemnation here is the greek word cataclysis cataclysis do you know what it means cataclysis crisis even i know you may not know what i mean but the dimension of the name christ terrifying cata crisis so there's crisis inside yes and the spelling is k-a-t-a and the crisis is k-r-i-s-e-s by the way crisis when you anglicize it when you break it into english it's a c-r-i-s-e-s it's the same crisis kata means something that dominates your life and that subjugates you and puts you down so cataclysis means your life is dominated by crisis crisis hands you down your life is dominated and prevailed and subjugated by crisis so cataclysis means that you have crisis in your finances you have crisis in your marriage you have crisis in your job crisis in your business crisis with your friends what do you turn around it's like you are dominated with what crisis everywhere even when you sit in a car you have crisis with a total driver your life wow so whenever you walk in guilt and condemnation you are preparing your life for crisis so guilt means that you say you are disqualified for his righteousness so you you deserve the reward you you want to punish yourself but in the last word for guilt means i deserve the punishment wow you're not acknowledging that one jesus took it away i want the punishment myself so you don't have to work in what condemnation there is now therefore no condemnation to those who are in christ jesus no condemnation there is romans 8 1. do you love greek yes because pacify friend likes greek so the way says that there is now therefore no condemnation the greek says oh this oh there's no this is from highest which means one the greek says there's now therefore not even one bit of condemnation against those who are in christ jesus can you imagine there's now therefore not even one bit of condemnation against those who are in christ jesus the problem with condemnation is that when you embrace it what made you condemned you are weakened to do the same thing again so condemnation is not good that son that gave you condemnation is going to repeat itself if you don't leave condemnation to become righteousness conscious hallelujah romans 5 17 my last best romans 5 17. romans 5 17 my last best romans 5 17. for if by the offense romans 5 17 my last best romans 5 17. for if by the offense of one for if by the offense of one for if by the offense of one you see death reigned you see death reigned you see death reigned it's amazing death rained it's amazing death rained it's amazing death rained so here death is seen as an emperor death reigned the greek says death reigned as an emperor the greek says death reigned as an emperor
Speaker 2the greek says death reigned as an emperor
Speaker 1but i like how the bible puts it rain is but i like how the bible puts it rain is but i like how the bible puts it rain is in past tense in past tense in past tense okay so that means we are another another okay so that means we are another another okay so that means we are another another regime death is rain he didn't say death regime death is rain he didn't say death regime death is rain he didn't say death is really it rained is really it rained is really it rained so death was like an emperor the monarch so death was like an emperor the monarch so death was like an emperor the monarch of the universe death reigned of the universe death reigned of the universe death reigned now whenever you hear death this is a now whenever you hear death this is a now whenever you hear death this is a generic thing it's not just physical generic thing it's not just physical death. Death is, when the Bible says death, weakness, sickness, diseases, fears, anxieties, loneliness and every negative thing come under the umbrella called death. So when the Bible says death reigns, it means sickness reigns. Job says sickness is the firstborn of death. Death reigns, sickness reigns, poverty reigns, lack reigns. If death reigned, then addictions reigned. Sun reigned. So the reign of death is the reign of every negative thing. That means sun was reigning, disease was reigning, fear was reigning. By the offense, because of what Adam did, death reigned. That's not the rest of the story. He said much more. Puppets, sorry. I hate the puppet search. Because much more is not a joke. Much more. Now what much more means innumerable, uncounted differences. Now what we have now, you can't compare with what death did. Much more. They which receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign as kings in life. I want to show you how you can reign as king. Now when the Bible says life, life is a generic term. It's all in comparison. Life. When the Bible says life, it's talking about health. To reign in life is to reign in death. To reign in health. Jesus didn't use the word health. Jesus says, go that way, thy son liveth. That's what he said. From the word life. So from the word life, we have health. We have peace. We have prosperity. We have increase. We have wellness. To say you are reigning in life means you are reigning in peace. You are reigning in joy. You are reigning in wisdom. You are reigning in health. In prosperity. In every good thing. That's the word life. Okay, how many of you want to reign? Reign in life. He gave us life. And the life is in abundance. More abundantly. But the Bible says that much more. He's given us the secret to reigning as kings in life. The secret. You see, we are not just to reign in peace. The Bible says much more. Much more. It is one thing to reign in peace. Another thing to reign in much more peace. We are not even in the reigning for us to enjoy much more. Much more. Much more. Much more. So your peace is much more. Your health is much more. Your finances is much more. Your marriage is enjoying much more blessing. Everything is much more. Even your character is much more perfected. Hallelujah. Much more, much more, much more, much more, much more, much more. They who to receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign. Reign. That means you reign over addictions. You know, you can reign over gossip. You can reign over sin. You can reign over disease. You can reign over sickness. You can reign. Are you following the verse? Yes. Now, much more, they who to receive what?
Speaker 2Abundance of grace.
Speaker 1Now, the word end, chi, you know, is the word even. It means even. The abundance of grace, even the gift of righteousness. Wow. Now, when you receive the gift of righteousness, you receive abundance of grace. So, righteousness is a gift. It's not something you work for. So, you remember. Ask, please, can I come again? Because you took his place, right? So, now you have received the gift of righteousness. Everything that Jesus deserves is now put into your account. That's why it's called a much more. You have received the gift of righteousness. Whatever Jesus deserves is given to you. Because he took your place. He received what you deserved. You've taken his place. You are receiving what he deserved. Much more. They who to receive abundance of grace, even the gift of righteousness. You are receiving the balance of favor, even the gift of righteousness. He says, those who receive this gift of righteousness, they shall reign in life. That means they work in peace. They work in prosperity. But the question is this. This is the question. Are we not all born again? Have we not received the gift of righteousness? But why are we not reigning in this life? This which I was talking about. Why are we not reigning in peace? we're worried today why are we not ready to enjoy and this make you depressed why are we not ready in finances we're tempted to go what why are we not raining why are we not raining in love you are not forgiving you are embittered why are you not raining i mean while we are born again how can we receive the gifts of righteousness let me show the secret the secret is the word receive and what we see there is in the present active participle tense so it's not one time receiving those who are constantly receiving the gift of righteousness they will reign in life those who are constantly receiving that's in the active voice that means those who are constantly taking hold of their righteousness they are those who are active voice means you are not passive you you take it so two things the consciousness of your righteousness and the confession of righteousness those who are constantly taking hold of their righteousness they are those who will reign who reign in life so knowing who you are in christ that i am his righteousness that i am in the place of jesus his son now think about it think about it if someone is tormenting you with which a wizard is tormenting you maybe in your room you start seeing some figures some shadows and you know you are in the place
Speaker 2of the sun the devil he just
Speaker 1will be tired but sometimes you are praying but you are praying full of fears in jesus and the devil is not minding you because he knows you don't know who you are one day satan entered into the room of smith woodley smith sat on his bed he woke up and saw satan i said ah it's you you are nobody he just went to sleep can you see satan in your room look at him and just he didn't buy satan he didn't mind satan he just went to lie on his bed and satan's pride was bruised it had satan that this guy didn't try to bind him or do anything he knew who he was in christ you know when woodley swith was in his 80s lesser samurai stayed for some months in uh uk in england so he used to go and visit him and he would sit at his feet to receive from him so why did he ask me totally swith how do you wake up from bed what do you do when you wake up from like you know his answer now this one i'm talking about reasons why you wake up from bed you know his answer now this one i'm talking about reasons more than 23 people from the dead and he was an amazing man of faith he said when every morning i jump out of bed and i dance for 10
Speaker 2minutes he says i jump
Speaker 1out of bed and i dance for 10 minutes his mind is so much on victory of what jesus did for him you can wake up depressed and worried when you think about the day your day is negatively programmed before it starts you think about the kind of work you have to do and especially the mothers if you have your children and this and this you can be depressed before you start the day mentally oppressed before the day begins no but you learn to let the lord carry your burdens about says he carries our daily burdens have you seen that in in psalm 68 verse 19. blessed be the lord our god who daily bears our burdens you can't find that in king james he daily bears our bed it's really amplified or other versions every day lord the bible says you bear my burdens carry the burden today and trust him praise god so those who are constantly receiving the gift of righteousness sedation reign i am not ashamed of the gospel of christ because it is the power of god unto salvation for everyone that believeth to the jew first and to the gentiles the greeks for therein is the righteousness of god revealed from faith to faith as it is written the judge shall live by faith the meaning doesn't come out to make engines you have the net it says that those who are righteous by faith will live wow that's the best it's not that just shall leave but it's not the righteous shall leave by faith in the greek the grammatical the grammatical construction is reversed it's not this it's not the judge by faith that just is the righteous it's not the righteous shall leave by faith no the righteous by faith shall leave those who know they are righteous by faith they will live wow so our version says those who know they are righteous by faith they will live and the word leave is zao the word the norwegian version says those who know they are righteous will have life and they will live and vine says that life that word means recovery from sickness and diseases wow the maintenance of the physicality of life so those who know they are righteous by faith they will have life they will live
Speaker 2yeah yeah yeah it's the part
Speaker 1of your consciousness i'm the righteousness of god in christ jesus you are saying you are in the place of jesus so whatever jesus deserves assuming you're in the kind and that sense is coming if you say i am the righteousness of god in christ you know what you are saying you are telling god that if jesus was in your place what will he do because because you are in the place of the son that's right so the father whatever he will do for jesus he will do for you yeah today we're talking and this man says oh man of god he said oh daddy you deserve it i said no i don't deserve it i want i i want what jesus deserves if you say i deserve it it's too small i want what jesus deserves yeah i want what jesus deserves i want what jesus deserves hallelujah it works so it works it works last year i said lord my next car should be a car that deserves yes i didn't say a car i deserve yeah no no no if god should measure it maybe hey maybe it's going to be tickle or something i deserve the canto or something so i said lord jesus after after praying that prayer someone just called me and said the lord says trick has choose one i'm telling you yes one two three one two three hey god is what has helped my prayers i said lord so i went back to god in prayer it's okay lord i want this one i chose it and someone came to visit me with a picture of that car said the lord says he's giving me this car and showed me the picture so during my birthday they brought him the same gift of the same picture a muslim convert came to show me wow yeah praise god so god is faithful if you are working in addiction this confession of righteousness has saved many people from pornography yes and masturbation it is you are confessing who really you are an idiot result yeah so from glory to glory. The Bible speaks of the glory that excels. You are going to reign in life. You will not be a tenant forever. You will be a landlady. Are you going to see the faith brown? See the faith brown. See the faith brown. See the faith brown. You are reigning in life. You are in the Son's place. The place of Jesus. And when you are conscious of this righteousness, you are going to live holy to God. You work in glory. And everything is going to flourish. Your life will flourish. You will treat your spouse well. You treat your spouse well. How can the righteousness of God not treat his spouse well?
Speaker 2How can the
Speaker 1righteousness of God be always burrowing and burrowing? Something will change about you. Just with time. By the reason of the glory that excels. The more you see Jesus in the world, the more you begin to reflect him. Because who he is, is within. He lives inwardly. And the glory will manifest outside. Let's have your voice and bless us. Thank you for listening

Podcast Summary

Key Points:

  1. The conference's anchor verse, 2 Corinthians 3

  3. The glory of God is synonymous with salvation (soteria), which encompasses healing, wholeness, protection, preservation, and daily deliverance—not merely eternal salvation.
  4. The glory of God is also defined as God's goodness, so enjoying His goodness in marriage, finances, business, and daily life is living in glory.
  5. The passage contrasts two glories
  6. Righteousness in the New Testament is a free gift received by faith, not earned by works, just as Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness.
  7. Through the divine exchange at the cross, Jesus took the believer's sin and condemnation so believers could receive His righteousness and position as sons, enabling them to reign in life.
  8. Believers reign in life by constantly receiving and being conscious of the gift of righteousness, which produces peace, prosperity, health, and victory over sin and condemnation.

Summary:

FAQs

It means being transformed into the image of Christ by the Spirit of God, moving from the glory of condemnation under the law to the glory of righteousness in Christ.

Our part is to behold the glory of the Lord through the Word. The Holy Spirit does the transforming, but He needs our beholding as the raw material for change.

In the Old Testament, glory (kabod) means weight or heaviness, describing God's presence heavy with blessings. In the New Testament, glory (doxa) means to descend and distribute, as God's presence discerns and imparts what each person needs.

Righteousness is a free gift received by faith, not earned by works. When you believe in Jesus, God credits His righteousness to your account, just as Abraham believed and it was counted to him as righteousness.

The ministry of condemnation is the law, which shows your faults but cannot help you and brings death. The ministry of righteousness is the Spirit, which gives life and exceeds in glory, enabling you to reign in life.

Believers reign in life by constantly receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. This means actively taking hold of your righteous identity in Christ through consciousness and confession of who you are in Him.
