I it's completely It's completely out of nowhere, but I thought about it recently, bro And it's about your man's thongy, so okay, it's about your man's thongy. Yo The the fact that people Pretend it Like jimbe was stronger than thongy for two years out of nowhere for no reason Was insane and like now you don't really see people say it as much because it was a gimmick the whole time But like back in wano When like jimbe had joined them and then they got the bounties and stuff And jimbe's bounties was higher The whole topic for for that next week was y'all How was jimbe's bountie higher? He's not even stronger than thongy Or maybe it's because his reputation and his name and he was a former warlord and But nobody said jimbe was stronger than thongy For whatever reason months later All of a sudden jimbe was stronger than thongy. I didn't get it. I didn't get it. It was one of the weirdest 180s I've ever seen in terms of power scaling From any fan base ever And I couldn't believe it and obviously You know other hosts were pushing the agenda and You know it was it was nasty. I and and I just recently looked back I was like, wow, I can't believe there was a time when people were pretending jimbe was stronger than thongy Toby, I mean, I don't know how long you've been a one-piece fan, but that's just how toxicity in the Saunji/Zoro fandom is because the same nonsense happened when Saunji's bountie was slightly higher than Zoro's for a couple arcs there And it was not since then too like yeah, like I don't know bounty scaling has always been goofy in the first place um But I think In terms of jimbe versus saunji it really comes down to how you viewed How strong queen was and how strong The upgrades that saunji got with his germ uh abilities were Because this people, I mean, I debate larry all the time as to whether or not saunji's still stronger than jimbe or not Right now That's just a legend. He was pushing the agenda so hard, but even larry like I remember these old episodes larry himself deep and say jimbe was stronger when the bounties came out He was saying like no y'all gotta realize jimbe is a warlord. He was a warlord jimbe was just a nut and then once later it was like Yo jimbe stronger than saunji and it was like y'all what did this come from y'all didn't y'all weren't saying this a few months ago When it was actually a hot topic and on top of that older kind of told us like But remember when they split up in groups in that head And loufi was paired up with jimbe And saunji was paired up with like you know what I'm saying is Zoro had his own group Oh there was saunas right there who the big thing was Mike And even natively it's just what it makes sense for jimbe to be stronger neither so It was nasty, but I'm a huge Zoro fan, but it was nasty I remember correctly twilight doesn't care for saunji too much so twilight what you got Oh no, I'm gonna just ask a simple question hole cake island You think saunji's dude or saunji's doing the same exact thing jimbe did with big mom Assuming he would be allowed to like hurt a woman or whatever Well, no, no, I mean not not like the Oh yeah for sure But livery like he's not even a thought to me he would do that. I think even even pre-timescap he would be able to do that Because that's just about loyalty and and respect and admiration for luffy then it is about like actual strength You know what I mean see another thing is with saunji with saunji the whole thing that made me Because fishman island really heard saunji in my eyes Uh it did I was just starting to like him and then hole cake island happened and Yeah ever since then I've been solidified in my saunji hate I'm still on the camp then I feel like it's or over found out what saunji did on hole cake island that would be that would be a problem I'd be a very big problem I would not that's why yeah, I don't think so I think I think and this is this might be controversial I think the notion that zoro would have a problem with it is actually disrespectful to zoro's emotional intelligence Because zoro knows how much luffy means to saunji and what he would be willing to sacrifice To protect luffy under any circumstance And he they both witnessed the usop thing so it's like Zoro I think would be able to understand Okay for saunji to be put in this predicament and do the things that he did There had to have been a quality enough reason he might have looked at it as disrespect and he might have checked saunji about it But I think you would have understood at the end of the day but that's that's me you know Yeah, I think that would have liked saunji right where he stood was kind of like a drag You know like I don't think it would have been that deep. When he was 11, Brooke had absolutely nothing in the world and was close to starving the death all the time. And yet he didn't let any of that get to him. Instead of wallowing in his suffering, he was jumping around, singing his heart out with a big ol' smile on his face. As long as he could still sing and play music, nothing else mattered because he could still find the joy in doing what he loved. You could even say that he, in those moments, is the very embodiment of a joy boy. Now, let's go to chapter 1045 real quick. What did Luffy say when he was once again on the verge of death after losing his necoform? He recited a line from Binksake, song intrinsically tied with Brooke, and then went back into his necoform, becoming a joy boy himself. - What was the name? - That was my first. It was, after all this said it done, all were left his bones. It, I definitely messed up that line, but it was about that line there. It was when he slipped out of his necoform and kind of was like, hey, someone, we'll tell you the story of. - What chapter was it? - Yeah, I'm trying to remember. - 1045. - 1045. - 1045. - Yeah, and kind of was like, don't worry, like after you lose and all that, someone will tell the story of Luffy's like, I don't want that when we're gone, all this left his bones. - Yeah, once we're dead, the only thing that's left his bones, he he he. - Yeah, that's a line from Binksake. - That is a line from Binksake. - Oh, it's one of my favorite Luffy moments. - Oh, wow. - Oh, how did I not place that? That's crazy. - That is crazy. - That is crazy. - I reread this fight like 10 times. I'd never place that. - So it's a wonder why you're even on the pod in the first place, but anyway, so my second point, Brooke is a man who is cursed with loneliness. He lost his biological family. He lost his found family on a sparey. He flosses. run bar pirates, and he lost the straw hat pirates. But which were the only ones that he could get back? Now I understand that's not the fairest comparison to make, because the circumstances for all of those losses are wildly different, but we know that fate plays a role in the grand scheme of the story. Luffy's entire journey has been unknowingly built off of a fate that's been building for centuries, and it's the will of that fate that Luffy will be the next king of the pirates. And what does Luffy always say about his crew? He cannot be king of the pirates without his crew. Brook could have stayed alone after being separated from the straw hats, but he'd probably have found another family through either those weird Satanists or the music industry. But the world needs Luffy to find the one piece, and Luffy needs his crew. His swordsman, his navigator, his sniper, his cook, his doctor, his archaeologist, his mechanic, his shipwright, and most definitely his music musician. Yeah, I love the additional emphasis on Brook's importance in the coming chapters. The fact that he's getting his own second flashback, I think is much needed for him as a character. I didn't expect it to come now, but I think the fact that we're getting it now is going to show how important it is. And I'm curious to see what the tie-in or deeper, thematic messaging will be, because typically, any and all flashbacks that we get in one piece in an arc like this will tie into what the arcs overarching themes are about. So I'm really curious how this will tie into Elbaph's lore and Elbaph's storyline. Well, I think what you said was beautiful, but it's honestly connections you made. Oh, thank you. Thank you. I got to start looking at Brook in a different light. Man, we all do. Look, he's had his gas from who was it, Preston? Yeah. I mean, I'm wearing a shirt. We're wearing a sweater right now. Brook is, he's like a, he's a sneaky goat. Like he's just kind of in the background doing his own thing, but when he does do his own thing, it's always incredible. Like whole cake alone. Like he was just a background figure, but he was like the most important person in that whole arc. I'm so proud. I've been a Brook fan for years. And also, if his ability works the way that people act like it works, then he's one of the dumbest fighters in one piece history. Why is the flame ever all ever. You know, I'm saying, that's that's what I wanted. When Luffy knocked these two off, I was like, okay, we can see it now. It's probably more likely to be seen now at least with three of them. I could definitely see at least three of them in the same place at the same time. And maybe Black Beer's Crash is like party. But I don't know. At Rafftell, I'd say Rafftell is too far. I would say, let's do load star. I don't think we can do it at Rafftell. It needs to be a lesser island. I think there is significance to only one of them making it to Rafftell. Yeah. I've always thought Usop versus buggy would be a very interesting fight. I keep going to Usop because I think he's like the king of this sort of tournament. But I do think he'd be unfairly voted for if that makes sense. Like Usop would be the Zorro of a weak tier bracket where he's just getting votes he probably shouldn't get against people he probably shouldn't be. If that makes sense. in one piece so fascinating all that really writes people as purely evil you write some as products of pain desire ideology lineage fear and environment take though flamingo for example towards he is a monster a tyrant a manipulator who enslaved an entire country destroyed families corrupt the children and so on and so on but from his perspective the world betrayed him first being born a celestial dragon literally raised above humanity and suddenly his father strips it identity away because he believes humans a celestial dragon should live equally sounds noble right except the world didn't reward that morality the civilians tortured them beat them hung them though flamingo watches mother die in poverty a watches father feel to protect them now he is the interesting and important part his brother rose in unté experience the same suffering and became compassionate well though flamingo experience experienced experience it and became hateful and that destroys the simplistic idea that trauma automatically creates evil because two people can be it from the same wound and become completely different monsters or completely different saints so what separates good from evil then maybe it's not suffering itself maybe it's what you choose to worship after suffering though flamingo worship control power superiority he concluded that the world is fundamentally cruel so the only winning move is to stand above everyone else his philosophy his philosophy is basically the strongest side with justice is and honestly the terrifying thing is he isn't entirely entirely wrong in the world of one piece the world government hides genocides marie's protect corruption depending on politics pirates terrorize innocents who are calling to sell three justice changes depending on who holds the power and though flamingo didn't invent hypocrisy he simply embraced it and that's why the family let me rephrase that that's why don't he hold the family follows him with absolute loyalty to them he saved them gave them purpose protected them characters like baby five or senior pink don't see a devil the see a man who accepted accepted them with society society discarded them and perspective changes morality dramatically it's the same man different choose and maybe that's the uncomfortable reality odour keeps hinting at good and evil are real but human beings almost never fit perfectly into either category because a person can commit evil or still loving deeply a person can fight for justice while doing horrific things a person can be broken by the world and still be responsible for what they become and that last part matters because understanding though flamingo is not the same as excusing it and a lot of people people confuse and patty with justification to think if you explain the villain's pain you're defending the actions but now understanding why someone become monstrous doesn't erase the suffering the cost it just makes tragedy more human and to be honest that sort of makes though flamingo one of the greatest feelings in my opinion and that's not because he's pure evil but because there's enough humanity in him to make his evil believable that was very yeah that was very well put sonnet is when you originally pose the the perspective on good and evil in the series my mind immediately with the dopamine going not just his speech but his story as a whole and when you go and roast anante as like another focal point of the you're talking point I'm like okay he's hitting it all he's hitting all the things that I was thinking so that was great that was very well put um I think I've said it before dopamine goes my favorite character in the series because I do think he's perfectly written not just in terms of what he represents in the story not just because of the threat level that he pose at the time being that middleman being that basically gatekeeper to all the true chaos that could take place in the one piece world if he's removed I kind of love him for that but because of all the things you brought out with this perspective not only is he like a heraldor of the times to notet a change he's also aware of his place he's aware of his choices you know like actively says hey like people who know peace and people who know war have different values and he seeing both chooses which values that he goes towards depending on the situation and he's also a hypocrite uh which I think a lot of people don't highlight a lot which you kind of did here as well so no I really do love that you use care uh don't flamingo for your case study here I think it was perfect then in general in terms of what makes a person good or what makes a person evil to me it's about choice most people will be faced with choices it's a joke that I have with my lady about people make choices every day it's a vague and blanket statement but it's a true statement people do make choices every single day and those choices kind of determine who you are and what you'll be like whether you can be considered good evil somewhere in between um I think we all live in that in between nine times out of 10 and then we typically make the choice that makes us good but on any day You can make the evil choice, you know what I mean, and some people like don't for me go make it more often than not so But yeah, I thought that was very well put then I really did like that. Yeah, I appreciate it, but It goes way deeper than I can Explain because it's the same question like what makes someone so long good and what makes someone evil? And then you are Larry Lino and Lawrence are like the four Heavenly Kings by what type of characters would they be like the types. What would their fighting styles be? But I genuinely think we already have archetypes in the versus already if you're ever able to get through all of crows. Larry's the main character he's value. I would be his best friend Bulldog, who is like the charismatic one that draws all the people to him, even though he doesn't necessarily think he's like worthy of the phrase or the following. There's two characters that are like best friends in the show that are underneath Bulldog that constantly fight each other and constantly fight other people. They're just not that strong and they're kind of goofy, but they win their fights more often than not. That's the twins because they're always arguing if fighting and they'll they'll they'll they'll probably kill me for that. But they also fit as Reution and Beto who are also just rivals among that four Kings era where it was valuable dog Reution and Beto. That's for who is who couldn't call it in terms of where we would all be if we were on the same team. Man, it would have to be closer to a gang than a school. Lawrence. Oh, man, Larry would. Oh, man. There needs to be a leader and then needs to be like the younger prospect and or the flying column. It would be an interesting dynamic there where we kind of argue a lot. That's not common in those types of shows, but they it does happen every so often where the vice head and head kind of but heads, but when they're united, they kind of get stuff done. That's kind of that's where I would go. Maybe the flying column kind of spark stuff, advanced squad, Lionel would be the guardian kind of silent doesn't fight often, but has to win. And then me and Lawrence would alternate between who's the head and stop ahead. Yeah, I hope that works. Yeah, what type of fighting style to like. Yeah, we had to have an individual. Okay. So based off of how they fight currently, Larry's a wild card. I've seen Larry fight. I've seen Larry box. I've seen Larry. He found resolve and proof that he was part of a bigger plan. What if Joy Boy didn't just lose to you? What if I told you that he took something? Important. What I'm about to say is very speculative, but I feel like it's very narratively possible. I think the reason Emu seems to be in pain and can't function fully out of the holy land is because Joy Boy took the mother flamed from them. I don't think Emu commissioned Vega Plunk to reproduce an ancient legendary power to commission him to recreate the power that Emu once held. The ancient weapons are powered using the mother flamed. We know this. Yes. But what about that makes sense? We're told that the mother flamed is an infinite energy source. Why limit would it can power? I believe that the sea shanty being sake is a retelling of a pirate crew that began his journey to deliver a drink, maybe for diplomacy, maybe a gift, or maybe it's used in place of a party or joy, like delivering freedom to other people. Whatever the case may be, if that's Joy Boy's crew and Emu was a member of that crew, I would assume that he gained knowledge and inside alongside them and whatever they disagreed with fundamentally. As we see in the moment where Emu shouts, "Isn't that right, Joy Boy?" and they have a flashback. They had some falling out, some disagreement fundamentally because they seem to have a very close relationship. Okay. So, he called the separation, but I think that they fought way, way later than most people realized Emu separated from Joy Boy and in his loan travels, he gained allies and I believe he found the mother flamed. I believe that he forwards an unnatural bond with it and used its power to rampage, you know, sinking right into the level of the water, ever so slightly over and over again. You know, okay. I think that if an opi-opi-nomi-user granted Emu immortality, then it were forced to do so. In the massive war, they, being the opi-user, I believe they severed Emu's connection to the flamed as a last ditch effort to defeat the newly crowned demon lord of the blue planet. Emu won, but I believe Joy Boy took the mother flamed itself back to the place they began. If being sake is a retelling of their journey, then I believe it will be poetic if the final island is the place where their journey started. And that's where the thing, and that's where the thing that Emu truly wants is out. Roger found the full story of the ancient world. I personally think it would be funny if it was just the song being sake, but for the sake of the theory, what's there alongside the story is the flamed, hidden in plain sight in a place that Emu may have forgotten about or even think that he illusioned like, you know, but Joy Boy protected it somehow, the same way that's been hidden from Emu and from everybody this entire time. The flamed being on Lafta would prove the story of Joy Boy to Roger's crew and would also be a hilarious lead down at first glance if they haven't read the story. They just see a rock and a fire where they go to low-star and who knows what they're told is on the final island, but seeing a rock and a fire must have been some kind of lead down. And it must have struck their funny bone, but on second glance, the truth is revealed and set the world as we know it in motion. That's all I got. The name "Ocean of Blaze" is because "Mu" from Emu means "Mu" with the mother flamed the fire "Ocean of Blaze" that's that's. No, I think that works in terms of, so in terms of the mother flamed being on Rafto, I like that a lot because the way Otis kind of frame this has made it seem as though everyone's after the one piece, not just the pirates, so I would like it if something that was on there is directly correlated to Emu and him getting stronger or accomplishing whatever goals that he wants to accomplish. So that can work narratively. You mentioned the Binks sake, I was trying to see or try to remember if there's a tie directly into potentially the mother flamed for that, or if that's maybe the reason why Roger was laughing or the crew was laughing, they've heard Binks sake a thousand times. This is actually a story of it, this is where it comes from. Um, so I thought that would be interesting, but I didn't, I didn't, I had to relook at the lyrics, trying to find a direct tie into the mother flame itself. I can't find one. Yeah. Um, which, I mean, I don't think you need that to be obvious, you know, I'm like, Oh, it can always paint that in there in whatever way. Um, I like it. I do. I'm trying to think how, if I would like the, oh, it's a rock and a flame, like that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I got what you mean. I just, I didn't like how you minimize, but technically, in the technical sense, like that's what you're seeing. If it's a ponycliffe with the true history and this flame, but if the flame is like never extinguishing, like, what do you do with that? Like, oh, right. I was wondering based on that kind of theory what do you think uh is going to be coming up next like do you think Oda's done with that type of writing or do you think he's still going to continue on with like making the similar story from a pre-time skip arc but in reverse. Ohara was wiped out because they could read the sky of history written in stone. And this is where Kumu becomes terrifically important once again. Because Biblow means book. It is the root behind the word like big bibliography, bibliophile, and Bible. And so when we talk about hell's nerd, the demon of forbidden knowledge, the book demon, the cosmic teacher, the one who is walking around carrying the Bible would be Kumu. But the demon of forbidden knowledge is half man, half owl, the cosmic animal for wisdom, knowledge, and history. The name Bartholomew Kumu, whose name literally connects to bear is carrying a Bible while his entire life is secretly about inherited will. You're grace, memory, martyrdom, celestial navigation, and what constellation are we really looking at? Well, there's a constellation called Ursa Minor. It is known as the Little Bear. Kumu is the bear carrying the book. Ursa Minor is the little bear carrying the North Star. The North Star is Ursa Minor. And Kumu carries Bonnie, the child of the future towards the sun. He could never reach himself. Now, here's where if you remember when Larry hung up on my theory, the iron 56 theory goes through crazy. In astrophysics, stars bend their lives, fusing lighter elements into heavier ones. But when a massive star reaches iron, especially iron, nickel peak around mass number 56, fusion stops giving energy back. Iron 56 is one of the most stable nuclei in the universe. It is the final wall of life. Once the core becomes iron, the star cannot keep burning the same way. Gravity wins. The star collapses and boom, supernova. The explosion scatters elements into space creating, creating the material for future stars, planets, bodies, blood, bones, and life in real science. We are literally made from stellar debris, carbon, oxygen, calcium, iron, all forged stars in stellar explosions. So apply that to joyboy. What if joyboy was the star that reached iron 56? Not literally a ball of gas, but symbolically, ancient son of the world being so powerful, so powerful, so radiant, so central to the old age, when he died, he did not disappear. He exploded into history. His body became myth, his will became stardust, his rhythm became the drums of liberation, his memory became ponyglyphs, his promise became Poseidon, his laugh becomes laugh tale, and his light is still traveling through the darkness 800 years later. That is what starlight is. When you look at a star, you are seeing the past arriving late. So what if the void century is not gone? What if the world is now receiving joyboy's light? That makes Luffy not just the reincarnation of joyboy? Luffy is the new star igniting the dust of an old one. Now bring in 56, Luffy's Gorbasa number is 56, Gomu. The fruit is the Gomu-Gomu-No-Me later revealed to be the Hito-Hito. Iron 56 is the cosmic endpoint before collapse and rebirth. So 56 becomes the number of the star that dies and the sun god that returns. Joyboy reached the iron core of history. He failed the ancient kingdom collapse, but the collapse seeded the entire future. Roger found the supernova remnant. Luffy is the new star born from it. This is why everybody in one piece is starred, not just scientifically, but narratively. Even inherited will is a particle from an ancient explosion. Kuma is stardust. Bonnie is stardust. The Buccaneers are stardust. The Declan stardust. Even the Pona glyphs are basically fossilized starlight. History compressed into stone. And now Ursa Minor makes this even louder. Ursa Minor contains Polaris. The North Star used for navigation for century. Polaris appears almost fixed in the sky, making it the guide for sailors, but Polaris is not always been the pole star. And it will not stay the pole star because Earth's axial process and shifts the North Star over roughly 26,000 year cycle. With stars like Thubian Polaris and eventually the next one being Vega taking that role, that is one piece. The world has a false center right now. It's Imu, not Vega. Umi is the abbreviation for Ursa Minor. Reverse Umi and you get Imu. Ursa Minor gives sailors the true North. So could Imu just be Joy Boy's reverse? Imu gives the world a false North. Imu sits on the empty throne pretending to be the unmoving center of history, but astrophysics says no pole star is eternal. Every center eventually shifts. Thubian in Draco, also known as Mu Draconis, was once the North Star. Polaris being the North Star now Vega will become the future North Star. So what if one piece world that is in a cosmic procession of inherited will? The ancient kingdom had its pole star Joy Boy. The current world has its false pole star Imu. The future world will have its new pole star Luffy. And that is where Mujakronis Vega become insane symbols. Draco is the dragon constellation wrapped around Ursa Minor. The dragon coils around the pole in one piece. Who coils around the world from above? The celestial dragon's Draco is literally the dragon guarding the celestial North. And historically Thubian in the Draco was once the North Star. So before Polaris, the dragon held the pole. This sounds exactly like the current regime. The dragon once controlled the center. The celestial dragons took the axis of the world. Imu became the hidden pole. The procession says the dragon's time ends. Mujakronis matters because Mu can echo emptiness, nothingness void. Hidden origin, depending on symbolic readings. In your theory, Mujakronis becomes the dragon star of the void century. The Mu of Draco is the erased star inside the dragon system. It is the clue that the void is not empty. The void is full of dead light. That is the whole trick of the void century. It is not blank. It is a night sky. A world government wants you to see darkness. But O'Hara knew darkness is where stars are readable. Then Vega. Vega is Lira, and Lira is the instrument, music resonance vibration, the drums of liberation. NASA notes that Vega will return to the Northern Pole position in about 1200 years because of precision. So Vega is not the future guide. Vega is music becoming north. That is Luffy. Luffy does not guide people through law. He guides them through rhythm. His heartbeat, the drums, the laugh, the sound that makes people move. Joybois old light was scattered like star dust. Luffy's new light is sound becoming direction. Kuma's book has always been strange because it does not behave like a normal religious prop. Fans have pointed out that it seems connected to islands and travel, especially because Bonnie reads about places like sky island and Kuma uses the book when sending people away. That makes the Bible not only scripture, but an atlas, a holy book, a travel guide of Bibliomap. Kuma is not carrying religion. Kuma is carrying the geography of salvation, and that fits his devil through perfectly. Kuma did not just repel pain. He sends people where they need to go. He becomes a living compass, a bear with a Bible, moving people across the world like stars. This is why Kuma is the Ursa Minor figure. The bear does not become the sun. The bear points you towards it. Kuma points the straw hats toward survival. Kuma points the future towards Nika, and the most devastating part is his memory bubble. In chapter 1102, Kuma creates a bubble containing his memories before losing himself. And when Bonnie later touches it, the bubble disappears and leaves her overwhelmed. This is literally supernova, remnant, and character form. Kuma's life becomes a star explosion of memory. His body destroyed, his will survives. His pain becomes light for Bonnie. His sacrifice becomes the map. This is the same structure as Joyboy. Joyboy died, but his will became history. Kuma died as a person, but his love became memory. Ohara burned, but its book survived. The ancient kingdom fell, but the poniglifes remained. Every death in one piece is a supernova. Joyboy was the iron 56 star of the ancient world. He reached the point where the old system could no longer sustain itself. His defeat was caused, his defeat caused the collapse of the ancient kingdom, but like supernovas, the collapse scattered his will across the world. The poniglifes are stellar remnants. The decline are his cosmic dust. The buccaneers are the bodies of the remembered rhythm. Kuma is the bear Bible navigator, carrying the book of the lost stars. Bonnie is the child who inherits light. And Luffy, Luffy is the new son born from the ashes of the ancient explosion. Now, Biblow will guide them and teach them how to read the history from the stars. And you can turn Kuma into a machine, but the universe keeps receipts. The stars keep the past and eventually the sky rotates. The dragon will lose the pole. The false god will lose its center. The book opens the bear point north. The drums will start to be, and the world will realize the void century was never empty. Those in night sky, full of joy, boys, exploded lights. You basically made him be the compass or the guiding light or the guiding star, the means for them to understand their place in the world. I was waiting. You made it start with Biblow and then Biblow is gone after the beginning. I really did like the Kuma parts. I've heard that also about Kuma's role and the Bible being weird and maybe it being more like a map than a Bible. I was interested to see you tie that in.
