Top Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups You Need to Add NOW! | Fantasy Focus

The episode recap centers on a thrilling Monday night football game between the Rams and Bills, highlighting explosive performances from Josh Allen and James Cook, while underscoring the Rams’ efficient passing game led by Matthew Stafford and Kyron Williams. The Bills' reliance on their running backs, particularly Cook and Ron DeSanti, reveals a lack of pass-catching depth, raising concerns about roster flexibility. In fantasy football strategy, Jordan Love is positioned as a top streaming quarterback due to his consistent passing stats, favorable matchups, and strong schedule, though he remains a short-term option. Aaron Rogers is viewed as a weaker streamer due to tougher matchups and inconsistent output. Running back options like Woody Marx and Damien Pierce are flagged as high-risk flex picks due to injury concerns and poor matchups. Wide receiver Jeremy Bernard emerges as a breakout flex option, gaining targets and trust from Aaron Rogers in key matchups. Tight ends like Pat Friarmouth and Brenton Strange are discussed, with Friarmouth showing greater consistency and touchdown production, making him the preferred streaming choice over Strange, especially against Houston. The segment also touches on waiver wire targets, knockout league updates, and injury reports, emphasizing the importance of dynamic roster adjustments based on matchups and player availability. Overall, the episode blends game analysis with practical fantasy football strategy, focusing on value, risk, and emerging opportunities in the midseason landscape.

[MUSIC] What's up, friends? Welcome into Fantasy Focus. Football on a Tuesday alongside Mike Clay. Sorry about that. I have to do all the things. All the volumes. You're yelling at me. I have to sweet out the show 'cause I'm in the field. Yes. I'll give him the middle chair and look what happened. Yes, we did. This is how it works. Mike demanding clay. All along. Check all my sources. Yes, absolutely. Check it on the kiddos. Make sure everything's okay. Yep, got to do all the things, tweet the show out, all that stuff. If it wasn't for that, I really hope the field does tweet out the show wherever you're at, buddy. We really need you to do that. We don't know how to do it. Yeah, I don't know what to do. So hopefully that gets out there. Excited to hang out with you guys today. Did you know that Monday night football went into overtime? And then in fact, it had multiple drives in overtime. It didn't end early. You don't know 'cause you fell asleep. I was awake the entire time. And then I was punched wrong. That's right today. Yes. On East Coast time. Oh, did it go over midnight? I didn't even notice. Yes. Yeah. Absolutely. Mike was too busy calculating EPA's in his head. Exactly. Yeah. He was eyes deep in his Excel spreadsheets right now. I don't have a concept of time during the season. That's fair. One long. Three minute. Well, we got a bunch of stuff we're going to talk about on today's show. Not only is it a recap of that crazy Monday night football game, but we've got a long shot's check in. We've got our knockout leagues who got eliminated and who might be available there. Obviously, some waiver wire targets here in week six. A bunch of people are out four teams on by. We'll dive into that. And then we got a couple of fun games at the end. Oh. Called, "Is sustainability the best ability?" People say availability is the best ability. Okay. In fantasy football, I want people to sustain some of the starts they have. I would say beyond fantasy football, there are other things where sustaining is really important. I agree with you on that. Stamina is important. Yes. Stamina's ability on all of those things. But we're going to talk about that and a couple of guys there. And then we're going to dive into a quick fab budget game at the very end. It's going to be a lot of fun as we sometimes do. I like games. So we will have a good time with that. Quick shout out to our friends over at trophy smack. Head on over to trophysmack.com. Use the promo code trophy week six for 10% off your order over there. And with that, my friends, let's dive into Monday night football. Rams and bills. Guys, 37 to 34. We got 71 points scored on Monday night. Nice. He's over hit. Yeah. Josh Allen didn't do great throwing the football to be honest, only 12 of 19 for 210 yards. But you know what he does do really well. Ron. The dude is literally a Mack truck when he is out there as a running quarterback. 121 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. Unbelievable. James Cook looked fantastic as well outside of the two fumbles that he had. 111 yards plus 25 touches, two touchdowns as well in this one. It was really just those two guys to be honest. We had the conversation of like, Hey, if DJ Moore doesn't go, guess what? Probably going to be a key on Coleman game. Oh, ish. Yeah, he did have one catch for seven yards and a touchdown. It was the end zone. Two targets. Okay. So what wasn't key on Coleman? It must have been a don't king. Kade game. No, it wasn't him either. All right. One catch. Yeah. One catch for seven yards. Are there any other pass catcher? I mean, at this point, after seeing the first five weeks of the season, does it just feel like more of a, you're going to be guessing which pass catcher not named DJ Moore. We'll be the one to step up when he is out. Yeah. One of the weird changes this year for the Buffalo offenses. They're throwing to the running backs more and then not James Cook though, not James Cook. I know. We saw Ray Davis have a big play last night. Ty Johnson. Ty Johnson has been very busy. Yeah. Four for 72 last night. They love him in that role. They always have. And that's not going anywhere. Now, the reason the receivers, the pass catchers didn't do much last night was because the running backs were leading the team and receiving by far. That was a fourth quarter and the two running backs had like 40 plus yards and no one else had more than seven yards. It wasn't until that Khalil secured over time. Yeah. So it was kind of an odd one. Josh Allen only attempt to 19 passes because he didn't have to throw it very much. They were dominating this game on the ground last night. So, yeah. Allen's fine. We're still firing up Cook as a mid-range RB one. And when DJ Moore comes back, we love him, but that's, that's about it right now. Yeah. Josh Allen spread it around to eight different pass catchers. Do you think that the urge for DJ Moore from the coaching staff is going to be moved forward? Because obviously nobody wants Josh Allen to be putting his body in jeopardy like that. We know that there's a history of when that happens. What could also happen in the Super Bowl window at this team's avail. So you're right. When he passes the, when he throws a ball, just 19 times also when you look at his rushing stats, we said one, 21, but can we contextualize that? Obviously, I think we all know he's the QB one in rushing yards and rushing scores. Number two is Jaden Daniels, who missed time and has 203 rushing yards and two rushing scores. So what a gap between one and two. Wow. He's been unbelievable so far this year on the other side. Let's talk about a non-rushing quarterback. Matthew Stafford couldn't be more opposite of Josh Allen if he tried, but he was unbelievable throwing the football. Again, three passing touchdowns, looked fantastic. This is what he does when he doesn't utilize his legs. Pukinakua. Unbelievable. Very odd game. 24 targets. Guys, the most target since we saw Brandon Marshall had 28 back in the early 2000s. It feels like, is there anything to say about this offense other than when the Rams are operating at the full efficiency that we expect? This is what you think. It's Puka. It's Devonte Adams. It's Kyron Williams. It's Matthew Stafford operating at a high level. It was a pretty chalk performance from a fantasy perspective. Yeah. It was. Devonte Adams scores the two touchdowns with you doing nothing for most of that game. Our game plan was clearly, we're just going to get the ball and Pukin's hands as much as they possibly can. At one point, he had a stat line that looked like RJ Harvey's last week, like the 10 catches for 72 yards. I was actually keeping tabs on this. He was, before overtime, before overtime started, Pukinakua had set their record for fewest receiving yards with 15 plus catches all time for a non-running back. Austin Eccler had like a 18 catch, wasn't one deal Robinson in that conversation a couple days ago. And Dale had one similar earlier at the game, but as Puka kept rocking up catches the yard, it just wasn't adding up and he was still under 100 yards. So he ended up with 130 and a touchdown because of overtime. But yeah, I mean, look, he's right up there with JSN because obviously the two best receivers in fantasy, no doubt about it. He's pretty straightforward on Adam's to your point. I think the other one, the other notable here is Kyron Williams. The pass catching work has got him to a new level. I mean, he had eight targets. This is unheard of. He just was never utilized this way. He's also dominating Blake Korman carries over the last three weeks. He's arguably. Not in terms of efficiency. I think that's like what trips people up though because Korman is the more efficient runner, but 60 so many yards through the air for Kyron Williams, he's averaging nearly 22 fantasy points per game. I think he's the RB five. Yeah. And that's got to where he should be right. That's where I was going with that. He usually was like a fringe RB one. I feel like now he's in that top five conversation because of the pass catching. And did have some some good production in the passing game last night as well, but it's still there. The separation between these two is still pretty massive. The Sean McVeigh prefers Kyron and that doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I love the RAM schedule coming up. Arizona, the Raiders, the Chargers, Washington and Arizona again. Like I'm not really worried about any of those defenses to be honest. And I do feel like as much as I want Blake Korman to be a thing unless he gets in the end zone, this is the Kyron Williams show, maybe one of the most important insurance packs still in the NFL. Because you know, you know what he can do if he ever gets that role. But I'm not sure that we're at the point where you can utilize him as a standalone option yet. Yeah. Last night as I wish. Yeah. Korman last night was like best case scenario. Yeah. Yeah. To get a long catch and then more receiving. Well, I think they talk about three or three plays. Three or three plays. That never happens for Blake Korman. Yeah. It's it's unheard of. You want weeks one and two. He had it was like an even split in carries, which is like, oh, he thought me, am I trend that way this year? The gap is just widened massively the last three games. That NFL memes was so good. It was an office meme. Oh, man, I missed it. It was a, it was a great one. I love that. That's why you should watch the YouTube chat for when I watch you feed when I watch film later of the pod as I normally do, you know, right, right, I appreciate that you were locked in to your analysis and you weren't paying attention to what was on the stuff to work. Good for you. Yeah. Exactly. There you go. Mike. Here you go. The Ram's super team after five weeks. That's just so hilarious. Ram's and Jets both two and three. Unfortunately, Ram's are better than that. They'll be okay. All right. We've got some long shot checks. Well, anything left for Monday night football. You guys good with Monday night football. I feel like, nope. If you have any of the guys we talked about, you start all of them every single week. That's not going to change. No, what I had was that Matthew Stafford has thrown for over 300 yards and four straight games and has nine passing scores over that time. That's pretty good. This. Yeah. Given the upcoming schedule, we expect those numbers. Right back. Yeah. I'm with you. Right back on that QB1 conversation. Love it. All right. Let's dive into some long shots here. We had a few. We're going to Google some of these names. As you probably should have to Elijah Higgins had an end zone target almost got in the end zone early in the game. Actually, wasn't terrible. Bryce Lance for field. No, did not get in. Mike, you and Eli Raridan who played a lot in this game had a couple big plays in the game. Just couldn't find the end zone. That's been the story of our season. We are pick. We are doing basically what like Adam and Field do on Sundays. Yes. That's like that's what we're accidentally doing. We're not getting the touchdowns. We are getting the target sketches and yardages of seasons. Yeah. We like the counting pick, too. He ran his number three receiver in that game, kind of shared with Brandon Cook. Yeah. Not bad. Not bad on the pitch. You did great, Mike. Eli Raridan cleared. Yeah, but we need touchdowns. We need to. Yeah. That's what it is. I went and did all of these numbers. I pretended to be my clay. And I was super calculator. And I was like, wow. It's really good. And then I compared them to your projection. I was like, he's even better than anything. That's right. That's right. It was really close. Yeah. That's the problem. We're getting the yards and the targets and the catches. We need to touch down. We got close. Good, good, uh, good, problem. process bad results. Absolutely. I'm with you on that one. All right. Let's talk about some knockout league stuff here really quickly. My friends in our knockout league. Unfortunately, our good buddy Adam Rink is no longer with us in our knockout league. And he has been knocked out. I heard he had some words for me after I was knocked out earlier this year on fantasy live. So interesting. Yeah, we did talk about you getting knocked out. He unfortunately had to start two tight ends. Dalton concade one of them. If Dalton concaded done anything without DJ Moore, he probably thought he had a chance. Once he found out DJ Moore was ruled out, didn't really work out that way. Crystal Lave didn't help either. Unfortunately. No, it's interesting. When I got knocked out, I Christian McCaffrey, and it looks like. I mean, that interesting. Adam Rink added their overall pick. Potentially Christian McCaffrey is not winning people. They're not going to knock two people out now about that. I'm going to make a little bit. I'm eliminated from that one. But I am alive in my other two. My other two, knockout teams are very good. I'm feeling pretty good. I think in one of them. I believe I do. We'll see how that stands. I was going to say with CMC going on, because you know, you and I feel a certain way. I know I know I can feel a certain way about them. And then I think the industry, like you can definitely have one of two thoughts on the way that you look at Christian McCaffrey. How much would you use of your budget? If you know that CMC. I had all. CMC, I still view him, I would say, as a mid to back in first rounder for drafting today. So I would say 40 to 50% sort of in that range. I mean, if you, because he's a set and forget, if you, if you're getting him off of waivers for this knockout league, you're playing as it you put him in the running back spot this week. And he stays there the rest of the season and never comes out. Yeah. Depends on how much you've left. Of course, you're always adjusting for that. What, what is left in the league. But yeah, I mean, I'm, I'm, uh, I'd go pretty aggressive, especially if I'm bidding against you to it. Yeah. Yeah. Cause I know your bids will be low. Luckily for that, we are not bidding against Michael because we're still in the league. So, uh, a bit of my other leaks. I'll talk, I'll talk with Adam Rank about, about being mean to you. Yeah. Well, I'm going to see him today. I'll bring it up. I'll say, all right. All right. We'll do more there with the knockout leagues. Very excited to see what else we can grab from the knockout leagues. I don't think I'm going to go after Kyle pits in that one, guys. Probably going to leave him on waivers. I know he's trending up. No, Michael. No, no. Honestly, you look at the squad. He's got CMC Chris Olave, Lamar Jackson and Justin Jefferson. Like he got screwed that Lamar Jackson was hurt this week. Get trivianne Henderson too, right? Wait, yeah, didn't use, did he not use Jefferson? He, he, he started Mike Highleman this week. That was a, that was a little mistake. Maybe I'm not sure. Anyway, let's see. Wait a while here in week six, guys. Couple of waiver targets. This is where we really make our money guys. Couple of key players that are on by here in week six. We got four, no, no. Mine's Bengals Vikings Dolphins, which means Jameer Gibbs shared golf. I'm under all. You also got Sam Laporta and Jamo Joe burrow, Jamar Chase, Chase Brown, T Higgins, Justin Jefferson. Probably all of these Aaron Jones anymore. Ali Gordon. There's a handful of guys here that we are going to have to make up for. So we're going to start the quarterback spot, guys. Let's start with Jordan love. If you don't mind, I'd love to. I'm just going to bring a couple names to the table. I want you to tell me yes or no. If you're interested or not interested as off of at okay, interested in adding them off of waivers. Okay. There we go. I can speak. Jordan love. Jordan love has been really good. Three of his five games, 300 plus passing yards, all five games, two or more passing touchdowns. But he only has one top 10 finish. The thing for me, this week is we've seen a lot of volume. The running game isn't great. He goes up because the Dallas Cowboys this week. I feel really good about the matchup rostered in 47.9% of leagues. I think that if for me, I would grab him off of waivers. And I could immediately put him into my starting line up this week. Do you guys feel the same? Yeah. I agree. One hundred percent. This is my favorite J love right now because it's a little angry with my other J love at the moment. But yeah, look at the and I'll give you props for this because you talked a lot about it during the offseason was once the Josh Jacobs stuff happened. Wood Green Bay just flipped to a very pass heavy approach. And they're the third pass heaviest offense in the NFL. They've no run game and they've leaned heavily into the past. So good call by you. And it has worked out for Jordan Love in the passing game. Obviously. Yep. I will say this. He's doing a very Matthew Stafford like his prison production so far. He has negative two rushing yards so far. That's epic carries. So he's hurt me there. But he is making up with like you said, two passing touchdowns in every game this season. They've also had a hard schedule. I have them with the least hardest quarterback schedule. So far this season, it is eighth easiest going forward. Wow. And that starts this week. Of course, against Dallas, they've zero interceptions, only five sacks, the worst EPA against the past. They've allowed 10 passing touchdowns and their fourth most fantasy points of quarterback. So I think if you're looking at the streamer, the week a quarterback last week was Jacobi percent this week. Jordan love. I agree. He's cleared 15 fan. I'm sorry. He's cleared 18 fantasy points in three of five weeks. He's coming off his best performance against the Bears. Obviously clearing 25 fantasy points and just again to contextualize all of the beautiful stats that Mike listed. Dallas Cowboys gave up 14 fantasy points to Jalen Daniels on prime time. Yeah. So it's obviously gettable. I think he's probably the number one quarterback stream at the position and given what you're saying. That's just a stream. But if you add them this week and he looks good with the matchups that he has the rest season. Yeah. I feel like he might be a guy. He just becomes your Arby or QB2 just sitting on the back of your bench for if you ever need them. Yeah. Don't forget it. Not an RVD is a negative running back. Yeah. He's one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He just has been in a system that really protects its defense and has been very conservative. Malinflars offense moves at the slowest pace of anyone in the NFL. But now he's actually throwing the ball more. So that could get him to the next level. I do wonder. And I know we're going to talk about some of the a pair of his past catchers a little bit later. But I do wonder if and when Josh Jacobs comes back and the run game becomes more efficient. And maybe once the once some of the defensive pieces start to get healthier if that passing production dips. But we like to live in the present. That's right ahead of week to week game. That's right. So for weeks six. Yes. If you can't grab Jordan love the other quarterback. I would look at what I can't believe I'm going to say this is Aaron Rogers. Honestly, three straight games with three passing touchdowns guys, three straight games as a top 11 quarterback. He's been throwing the ball quite a bit more than I expected this year. Again, this is probably more of like a one week streaming option than maybe I would think of for Jordan love. But how do you feel about Aaron Rogers as an option in case you can't grab love off the waivers this week? I mean, I don't feel great. I don't love it. I mean, I also think the matchup is more difficult at Tampa Bay. Who's obviously the Dallas matchup is. But yes, Aaron Rogers is is available in 80% of leagues. Love only available in barely over to 50% of leagues. So this might be a situation where you have to where the choice is made for you. A lot of people in our chat right now are saying, you know what? I love Jordan love. But he is rostered in the league that I'm in already. So he depends on our option. Yeah, he's available in half of leagues. So right now. So love might be out there. Maybe he's not. But I don't think Rogers, I think you could probably do a little better for a streaming option. Yes, he has had all these touchdowns over the last few weeks. He scored a ton of touchdowns through the air this season, 91% of ties in the NFL. But he's been in the 22 to 23 fantasy point range and all three of those games. So that's what it's taken. That's taken three passing touchdowns. Big yardage to get there is 18 rushing arts in the season. He's not going to help you out there. Remember, we saw what you're usually going to get from Rogers in weeks one and two when he had a combined 16 and a half fantasy points against Atlanta in New England. Dischedule gets harder going forward for them now. And I agree with you. I think this is more of a neutral matchup than an easy matchup. So I think he could probably do better. Also for cousins. I know we forgot about him last week because he was on by. He gets the bills in week six. So if we're going to stream, I would have him ranked ahead of Rogers. Yeah, cousins over Rogers. The risk with cousins right now is if he struggles again, like he did last week, he'll get the hook from a nose soon. It happened anytime now. Yeah. No, good call. Yeah. Like the matchup. Let's talk about some running backs guys. To be honest, we're going to have some guys that are going to start here. And I don't really like any of them if we can be on. And then just for me, I don't like any of them. David Montgomery, doubtful. Probably not going to play in this one. We're assuming once he went out, Woody marks took over every single snap, except for the kneel down. So he was the running back that was back there taken on the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, which is a 930 AM game as a reminder, it is the morning game. I don't think that I really, I mean, I'm going to add what he marks because he's more valuable than whoever's at the end of my bench, but I don't really want to start him this week because of the matchup against Jacksonville. Do you guys feel the same way where it's if David Montgomery's out, he absolutely needs to be added, but would you be looking at him as someone you want to play this week? The thing is there's four teams on a buy a lot of running back injuries. I think that gets him into the flex conversation, but I agree. There's there's some risk here. I mean, he's last year. He was the lead back for a lot of the season. There's a lot of volume. If 220 touches last year, the average 9.4 fantasy points per game, only at five touchdowns. So one top 10, he'd one top 10 last the whole last season. So and now, of course, as you mentioned, playing Jacksonville, allowing two and a half yards per carry and they've a lot of the fewest yards to running back so far this season. So he wasn't good in this role last year. Correct. Yes, he's going to have a big workload in this one. Dario Gumbwale is on the roster. He'll get some run as well as a change of pace, but I think at best, he's a flex. I want to push not much upside here. I'm going to push back on that because in my mind, and you might think about it differently, with the state of the running back position, I'm not flexing basically any running back that would be in the flex radar because they're so awful. I would almost always default to a wide receiver, given what wide receiver could be in flex because by the time we get to the, he might be a flex option for you, I don't want to start that running back. I got to have a wide receiver that's projected to get more points than that. More often than not. So while I understand what you're saying that like you might have to do it. I don't think that like in a good lineup, you're not playing Woody Marx as well. No, I think that running backs in Mike's defense have a tendency to have the goal line equity in a way that obviously what is definitely so if you're hedging those bets and how many times yesterday did we say halfway through the show that even that every running back we were talking about was touchdown dependent. Yeah. Right. So and I think what we're hearing right now also looking at Marx's last season, he didn't showed that he was not necessarily up to the task of being a primary ball carrier, if you will. Full time. And so if he is now running, if he is touchdown dependent and facing the Jags, a team that's allowed just two rushing scores to the running back position, that is where I would start to hedge. But I do think it's matchup dependent. And we have to imagine that we know this defense. We saw it last week starting to get a little bit better, right? To make a right. It's taken over. So there is a lift here. It's maybe not astronomically quick like we would like, but for streaming purposes, we wouldn't like it at all. But regardless, that should help the efficiency, right? And if Marvin Harrison, Jr. has any of the theoretical to use fields term, a value that we saw, then maybe this offense starts to get a little bit better as well. Yeah. And what does that mean for Marx? Right? I do think he's going to continue to like have the ball. We don't know how long this groin injury is going to linger. This is three theoretical field term. Well, no, yesterday, if you would listen to the show, Mike, that, that M H J, I had an off day. I was napping. What a M H J. I subbed in for you that M H J and happily, I'm glad you heard your day, that M H J has theoretical value, right? We don't know yet, but there is theoretical value based on the draft capital, etc, etc. So you don't make up the word. No. Oh, okay. I never, I'm not using big words. It's true. That's true. I didn't know that was the thing. I think that the Houston Texans offense might be in for a boost in efficiency. And as much as I was on the other side of it, it, if you take away the second running back of the potential committee and then it mostly all goes to Woody Marks, that does give him a little bit more of a bump because, yeah. And by the way, remember, four teams out of five wide receivers have been kind of messing the middle area. So if you look at like the mid thirties at receiver this week, we're talking like Stefan digs at San Francisco, McConkey, who's struggling at the chiefs who have been terrific. Jalen Waddle has struggled. He gets Seattle downs, Trey Tucker, Xavier Worthy, Kenan Allen, Eddie Mitchell, if he comes back. He might as like these are your, I think you're looking at the top of your, these are your flex decisions, like, especially in 12 team leagues, you could have some value, but anyway, I think we made our point. Let's move ahead. Let's talk about one more. Two more running backs here. Damien Pierce is going to be the running back for the Philadelphia Eagles after we'll swiftly got banged up. Yeah. Unfortunately. They said, I think I don't know if it was you or if it was Field that said the Eagles wanted to keep it a secret. They didn't want anyone to know that Damien Pierce was on their practice squad because they think they have a real NFL running back. Had 11 carries for 14 yards. Yeah. That was his highest touch game since week 18 of 2024. Yeah. It's, it was not good. He had 16 opportunities in at 12 yards in that game. They were playing Jacksonville. We just mentioned very good against running backs. They get the Panthers this week. They're allowing 5.4 yards per carry to running backs that is highest in the NFL. So better matchup. The Panthers have been better since that, a lot of that was the week one game against Chicago to running back so they've been a little bit better as of late. But this is one of them plays where it's just a matter of if he, if Barclays out, he might get 18 touches in this game. So he's, it's very much like Woody Marx where he's on the flex radar. But remember, say Juan Barclays could return in this week. Yeah. So this might be, it might not matter. If you is Damien Pierce more valuable than the last person on your roster going into waivers tonight. I think it depends on your circumstances. Do you feel like you're starting lineups not affected by buys and injuries and it's filled out? I wouldn't even bother with Pierce because if you're not going to start him anyway, there's no long-term value. Exactly right. Yeah. Barclays, if he's out one more week, which again, he could play this week. But if he's not, it's at the most this week and that's it. Okay. I would imagine that's how I feel too. One more really quickly. Marx on Lloyd at least did some things this last week. Guys, even though we talked about how it has been the pass catchers. Is there anything going up against Dallas this week coming off of a two touchdown game where you're like, all right. I might add him this week, just to stream him with all the other running backs we talked about. I think he's an end to bench guy right now. I don't think I want to start him yet. He's still averaging 2.8 yards per carry and split snaps with Pierre Strong in this one. His usage would have been a little higher if it wasn't a blowout because everything from Caleb Johnson who had seven carries was to finish the game. He didn't know. He was playing zero snaps until late in that game. So right now they're going with Lloyd and Pierre Strong, but again, it was an even split in snaps. They're using multiple backs. He's not playing well. He's never had 50 yards in a game in his career yet from Marx on Lloyd. So even in a theoretical matchup against Dallas, not super interested here. Dallas is allowing the seventh most fantasy points to opposing running backs. So I think if we are in desperation mode, like if you are a manager who picked up Oli Gordon and has just been surviving off of those touchdowns and now you don't have in this week, yeah. I think you have to work with March on Lloyd. Yeah. I think Lloyd and Marx and if Barclays out here, they're all in the same vicinity. They're like all early to mid 20s and are running back ranking. So ideally, you're not starting them, but you could probably do worse in your flex. And what you're hoping for March on Lloyd is exactly what you got last week, like you're kind of chasing touchdowns if we're being honest. Like that's how it's going to make his hate for you is just following the answer to be a lot of points in this game. The over under is 52 and a half. So I mean, there's let's talk about some wide receivers. Oh, this is more fun. At least the first name. Um, oh, who do you have as your first name on your list? Uh, the Steelers. I gotta go. All right. I just want to make sure that your first name is my first name. Michael Pittman, Jr on IR Roman Wilson out this week. It feels like Jimmy Bernard has been the one that has stepped up eight plus targets in two of his last four games, the other two games we won't talk about. He just wasn't utilized very much, but six for 80 and nine targets. This last one for 14.4 fantasy points taken on Tampa, at least were worth an ad here on waivers this week, given the way that Aaron Rogers is out there slinging it. Yeah. I don't think it's or I should let me reword that. I think it's possible Bernard could find his way into the flex conversation moving forward this season. Is it possible that he just takes the number two job going forward? And you know that DK Metcalf's target ceiling is kind of limited. He's never going to be a 30% target share guy. He's generally going to be closer to 20 or 22% and be utilized a lot near the goal line. But Michael Pittman hasn't shown much yet. He doesn't have much trust around Rogers. Bernard does. He is. Bernard has barely played the season. He has two games already with eight or more targets. I know. Aaron has flashed a little bit, but he had exactly six targets in every game. Jeremy Bernard was his second round pick. You you draft a guy in the second round. Yeah. Exactly. By way of Washington. Sure. But you you draft a guy there to be a long-term starter to be a number two at worst in your offense. So I'm optimistic here. He led led the wide receiver room and routes and targets last week. And I mentioned this earlier, but the Steelers offense and this has been an hour Rogers staple for a long time, especially during his Packers. Hey, they've scored a leak high 91% of their touchdowns through the air this season. So that presents opportunities near the goal line for Bernard, Metcalf, Fryer, Moose and they're playing Tampa Bay right now mid-packing and wide receiver so far this season. But a real opportunity for a rookie who has earned Rogers' trust to play a big role. He'll be a priority in mind on weight. And came out of college being held as quite polished as a route runner and also a really good tackle breaker. So this isn't a developmental high ceiling RAS score type of player. Yeah. In fact, quite the opposite. And with Michael Pitman being on IR, you know, it's going to be a number of weeks until he comes back. So that role should probably be available for him to be. Yeah, this is this opportunity to not be able to put the cap back in the bag. He is a few weeks here. And maybe he just takes this job and runs away with it. Sort of like we saw Kendrick Bourne do. Obviously, the Cardinals couldn't wait to unlock this guy. Now, the Marvin Harrison Jr. is gone. By the way, if Marvin Harrison Jr. for some reason was on waivers, because someone cut him loose and they were over it, he would obviously be the first wide receiver waiver target. I would add this week. Did you take him over to me Bernard Bernard? Yeah. I don't know. I don't think that especially with Nico Collins there and the defense playing better. Like, if you think, look, if you think Houston's defense is just going to be, they're going to regress to early season and they're going to be atrocious and they're going to have to throw the ball at time. Maybe there's something there for Harrison. If he wins that two job, but I'm pessimistic about that. I think the defense is going to be good. They're going to remain balanced. They're going to be more competitive. They're going to be able to run the ball. The still Nico Collins handling a huge share of the targets. You don't even know if Harrison's going to be good. How long is it going to take to learn the playbook? I think he's worth an end of bench, but I'm more interested in Bernard, at least for the short. I think what Mike said too about this being the opportunity for Bernard is massive, right? And Harrison's situation is different because there's so much more to learn and he doesn't necessarily. I think the thing that everybody is excited about is the CJ Stroud, um, MHJ connection from college, right? And that just automatically picking up where it left off, but that's not a realistic expectation. Yeah. You don't just like slide right. It's not maddened. You don't just pick up a controller and get like right back into the groove. It takes some time to be able to get there. Yeah. So then with Kendra Bourne, obviously being unlocked in this one, five catches for eight or 70 yards on eight targets against my Detroit Lions. Yeah. Is it worth an ad or was this a, hey, they played the Detroit Lions and they were trailing the entire game and someone else had to catch up. Yeah, although they might do that a lot. That's that's what you're hoping for a pass on Borney. The big week one he disappeared for three weeks. Even in this game, what I noticed was he was playing fewer snaps than Jalen Brooks. And actually Elijah Higgins as well, they go more 12 personnel here guy. That's why. Yeah. So they went a little different direction, a wide receiver. And honestly, I don't know what they're going to do with receiver. Like I don't think you want to run Bourne and Brooks out there all season. Maybe Jalen Virgil or Rocky gets a run at some point, but I don't know if they actually do. I don't know. They're not super competitive. So it'd be weird to trade for like Gary Judy or something. Right. I don't think they're going to do that. But I don't know. the board is going to be near consistent in the next two weeks. enough to be a flex option. - I like him this week. So I, and I, I like born this week, yes, against the Rams, mostly because what we saw, obviously the Rams gave up more on the ground than they did through the air, but that's the way the game went, right? But there are so many points available, and we know that Arizona's going to be chasing them. And we know that born is one of these vetted, experienced players. Now if Mac Jones was under center, I'd start him in a heartbeat. But I think that there is some play here. I do think there's some flex appeal, and I like his sleeper potential in this particular week. I love your point about the snaps, and how they are being, you know, given throughout the team. But I, I think that there's more here than a simple like shy away. - Okay. - A little more enjoyable. - He's available in 98 and a half percent of leagues. So there you go. - You can grab him. - You know what, it's not for me though. - Probably also available in 98 percent of leagues. Unfortunately with Dibo Samuel, expected to miss a number of weeks with a hamstring injury. Brandon Cooks stepped up, got in the end zone guys. - Yeah. - Knowing that it's just been a battle of attrition there for 49ers past catchers. Do you think the Brandon Cooks is worth the look? - Maybe, only three targets so far since joining the team, but there's a real opportunity to maybe be their number two or three receiver for a few weeks. Did score a touchdown last week. And this week they're playing Washington. So I'm not going to start Brandon Cooks, but maybe a DFS pun, although I don't, my DFS puns last week were Casey Concepcion and Roman Wilson. So that was, that was a rough one. So maybe don't listen to me there. - That's right. - Obviously we've got her. - So in 2006, which was a rather rollout born or Brandon Cooks, if you have an emergency such a break line either. - I mean, I have them, actually it's funny. I have my rankings. 66th and 68th. - Okay. - No neither. - Who's 66th? - Brandon Cooks. - I mean, look, Washington's a lot of the second most catches to receiver. So yeah, if you think he could catch three or four balls and score a touchdown in one of the best offenses in the NFL, sure. I mean, he's not the worst start throw, but this is more for maybe 12 plus team leagues at best. - You know, who I like is a pass catcher more than any of those guys. Brenton strange the last two weeks at the tight end spot. Eight targets back to back weeks. Seven catches back to back weeks. Seven for 95 for 16 1/2 fantasy points against the Bengals in week four. Seven for 68 for 13.8 fantasy points against the Eagles in week five. Now they take on the Houston Texans. Has Houston up until last week against the Titans not been very vulnerable against pass catchers this year? They have my friend. So I like Brenton strange as a streaming tight end this week up at you guys. - Interesting. I do not really. I'm at 13. I'm not over the top. I think the question is, we view him as a tight end one yet or not 14 on a buy. I mean, yeah, he's this week. This week, he's a streaming option. - I guess the question is, is he back like is he now a back end tight end one or is he still maybe an occasional streaming option? I think it's, I think it's the latter right now. Houston, by the way, has not a lot of touchdown to a tight end so far this season. Yeah. And look, strange does lead the Jags and targets over the last three weeks with 21, which is impressive to be leading that group. But it's still a very crowded group. He started slow earlier this season and last year, he was in very similarly crowded, but high scoring offense similar to this year. He averaged five targets in 9.8 fantasy points per game. So I think he's going to be one of them tight ends that goes like this throughout the season, but it feels more Dalton sholts than it is Sam LaPorta. You know, that's how it feels to me. So I'm not going out of my way to spend fab. - He's going to be in the top fit. We're going to rank him between tight end 12 and 15 every single week. - Yeah. - And then you're just going to throw a dart and hope that that's the week that hits. - Okay, so exactly what I said, he's a streaming tight end for you. - Gotcha. - Thank you guys. - I appreciate that. You said this week. I said, no, I'm at 13. So I'm not going to use him against Houston who hasn't all had a touchdown yet. - I would disagree with that. You say 13, and you often talk about 12 team leagues, and you say the tight end that's 13 is an streaming option in 12 teams. - I don't want to use it this week though. - I don't want to spend fab on them. - Okay, guys, guys, guys. - That's the point. - These are semantics. - Okay. - I mean, we're talking waiver wire. I don't want to spend money on them. - That's fair. You don't have to spend money on them. - I get that. - That's hard earned cash. - How about the tight end that just catches touchdowns from one of your favorite quarterbacks? - Pat Friarmouth. - Would you rather go with Pat Friarmouth this week at the tight end of the streamer? - One of my favorite quarterbacks? - One of that four. - How many percentage of their touchdowns are there? - Most. - 91. - Yeah. - Over 90. - Yeah, look. He's been solid, actually, from ranked ahead of Brent and straight, so we have a streaming option now on our hands. - Okay. We got a book. - Tell us why you like Pat Friarmouth. - No Michael Pittman, no Roman Wilson, he has four touchdowns in five games. He has three end zone targets, which doesn't seem like a lot, but in five games it is relative to the other tight ends. He's also 11th in targets, and his three carries as well. He's doing his best Tyler Warren impression so far this season. By the way, his seven targets last week is most since week 18 of the 2024 season, so it's a little bit of a change this year for Friarmouth. So I'm optimistic on this one. - I am too. He's going to be a fax versus feelings player this week. - Okay. - Full disclosure. He's managed a double-digit fantasy points in three of his last five. If I'm getting that sort of consistency out of the tight end position, then I'm taking it. And like we talked about earlier, he is an established player. We are hoping Jeremy Bernard steps up to this opportunity, but we know that there is a safety valve available to Aaron Rogers who needs one in Friarmouth. - I will say as well, if you do grab Brenton Strange, I would only grab him for this week because they have a pie the following week. It is a one week streaming. - Sounds like a waste of fab to me, but what do I know? Are we bored betting this? - That's a great question. Yes, let's do it, my friend. I say Pat Friarmouth outscores Brenton Strange in week six. - Well, had you can do it with him? - Okay. I say Brent. - What? - Friarmouth. Yes. We are going to do the thing. - I say Brenton Strange outscores Pat Friarmouth in week six. Put it on the board. - You do great. You do great. Everyone crushed it. That was as smooth as it's ever been. Let's talk about defences really quickly and then we can move on. A couple of streaming options. Would you take the bear? - No. - No. - Going up against the Atlanta, it was a twoa. It's twoa. Twoa's had one pass. - Maybe. Maybe. We'll see. - Penics on the fence to play. If a twoa goes, it's more palatable. I'm still not there yet. - Still not there yet. - Down the chargers right now. We're looking at the defense as rostered under 50% elite. - What team is most generous to opposing defenses so far this season? - The chargers. The chargers. Oh, okay. The chargers. Okay. Got it. Trust me. - I'm still mad at you. Okay. You know that last, so that last play, we're twoa through it. All right. So there's second last play. He hits Drake London. - Yes. - He gets me a point and a half or whatever it was. And I'm playing, who was I facing Joe? - Yep. - In the FFC league. - Where? - I need one mark catch. From Drake London to win that match up the next throw. He throws to Drake London. It gets picked off and ends it. - Brutal. - Another, it's two weeks in a row. That happened to me. - Wait, man. - It's a vendetta. - So I'm still mad. - So you lost? - I lost. - To Joe Fortenburg. - Yes. - Okay. - Joe Fortenburg. - Okay. I love that. All right. Mailbag guys. Let's dive into the mailbag with you. Thanks for hanging out with us doing this show as well. And to our buddy Eric Moody. - Dean. - Dean at Eric and Moody on social media. Daniel wants to know Ollie Gordon or Woody Marx for the season. Daniel, I'm going to ask you to hold this conversation for about one more second. That's what I mean. Hold this question for about one more second. We're going to dive into it in the next segment. But boy, is that a great question? - I'm moving to it right now. - Jaila wants to know, drop who's the strongest bench stash? - Oh. - What? - Naji Harris or Emmett Johnson? - You want to drop the strongest bench stash? - Why don't you tell us what's the strongest bench stash? - If you want to hold on to the strongest bench stash and that is Emmett Johnson. - Yeah. - Stop. - Maybe it's stop. - So then you can answer it. Tell him why it's Emmett Johnson. - Thank you, Liz. - You are. - Emmett Johnson. Emmett Johnson. I don't think Naji Harris in that. I mean, we're not seeing anybody in that weak chance backfield. - Yeah. This is one of them rankings versus projections sort of or stash first projections because Harris will consistently project higher because week to week he's going to get six or seven touches. - Right. - Right. - Johnson will. But if the starter gets hurt, Harris goes up a little because they'll use multiple backs. - What? - No, no. - Harris has a higher little. But if Walker goes out, Johnson goes way up there. - No, that's why. And Johnson's the better stash. - What does he do? - He thought what he does. - That's how it goes. - That's a sound that happens. - It's one of them sound effects. - Yes. When you hit save in the rankings, they go. - By the way, I find it's disturbing. - That's so true. - When you say one of them. - One of them. - I love it. - Oh yeah. - It's so charming and folksy. - That might be it. - I love it. - Right on 2006 wants to know, Jordan Love over Tyler Schuck. - Yes. - I think this week right now. - Yes. - I'm with you on that one. - It's a conversation going forward. - I don't want to punish Schuck too much for last week because anyone that runs into Minnesota. - 91% blitz rate. - Blitz rate. - Blitz rate. That's unbelievable. - Yeah. - All right guys, let's talk. - Do you have one more? That's it. - No, I think that was it. - Okay. - I guess we'll answer that question. That was just on the board, right? Is that what we're doing now? - Which question was on the board? - Oh, yeah, sorry. Thank you. We're not going to start there, but we will get there. Ollie Gordon or Woody Marx for the rest of the season. You know what? Why not? Let's just start with that one. - Yeah, answer the man. - All right, we'll start with that one. I wanted to throw a couple of things at you guys. - Sure. - I've been looking at a couple of running backs. First off, I want to give a big shout out to our guy, Eric Moody. I have been out and I have been notably out on Ollie Gordon. And we talked about it here. I said I would not add him. I do not like it. He was in chat when I was saying to those things. When we were all kind of like, "No, I don't really like Ollie Gordon outside of Devane Chan." And he was like, "I adamantly disagree with him." And I would add him. - Don't listen to Daniel. - He was, yes, respectfully. And Eric was absolutely right. Shout out to Eric for being able, for standing on business and being able to make that call because he has been good. But that's kind of why I want to compare to some of these other dudes. You look at where we've drafted some of these guys. Amarie and Hampton was a second round pick. He's RB25 in fantasy points. Jeremiah Love was a third round pick. He's RB22 in fantasy points. Cam Skataboo was a fifth round pick. RB21 in fantasy points. Gordon, who was undrafted, his RB 20 And by the way, he's RB 26 because the first two games in which he barely touched the ball count towards his points If you just look at what he did the three games that he was a starter He's clearly scoring more points per game than all three of these dudes So Mike, I kind of want to ask you with the strength the schedule moving forward as a big part of how we look at this I Want you to help us and Liz. I want you to do this with me to I want to rank these running backs rest of season and it's gonna hurt me But I want to start with Amari and Hampton When you look at everything Amari and Hampton has done when you look at this Chargers offense when you look at all of these things that he has With Keaton Mitchell in the back field and with the way that they've utilized him I still think he's the one with the most touchdown equity I still think the one if the Chargers offense does get rolling. Who do I think is the back that has the most upside? I still think it's Amari and Hampton What does a strength of schedule look like for the rest of the season for Hampton? It does get a little tougher It's not anything that's impossible. I know they're for the passing you may be harder than this But based on what we've seen so far it's more of a tough schedule not an impossible schedule that being said What is impossible is the Offense for the Chargers right now it is it's it's brutal right now I mean he has three touchdowns in five games, but just one game over 15 touches 9.9 fantasy points per game Just having six targets in five games is unacceptable 3.7 yards per carry I can go on and on I mean it's just been it's been a head scratcher I mean if there was I was down I was not nearly as high as most on the Chargers offense But I'm marrying Hampton I thought it could overcome that and still have a breakout season It is not happening and he's not playing enough right now. They're using three running back So you mentioned the targets right? He only has five catches on the season as opposed to Keaton Mitchell Who is being used in that capacity and has 12 catches right now Keaton Mitchell is the RB 17 in receptions and Hampton is the RB 45 and he's not making up with any sort of efficiency on the ground He's averaging 3.7 yards per carry so under four. That's never a great stat. I think honestly What we have to wonder about here is if Mike McDaniels does not If he loses his job and this offense changes then I think there might be hope for Hampton Of course, there's an adjustment period that would have to go into place But running back tends to be the least affected in terms of time for that evolution to occur So there is a good chance. I think McDaniel could get fired in which case maybe Hampton has something saved Yeah, I will I will say this on my list. Okay, I think he's certainly in that conversation is a close call for me There was a play where Hampton got the ball I can't remember if it's a runner a dump off But it was a long run to the left cut through look really fast gotten in the end zone for a touchdown They said all right there we go and then I realized it was come on Eve at all on Sunday So not good. I mean these other Mitchell's playing well as as well as well you can do things that Hampton can't do Yeah, I mean the problem that's the problem the other guys aren't struggling So I don't think they're going away. They might use more of it all they've been using more of them last couple of weeks Yeah, that long touchdown run so this could be a three headed attack for a while I'm very concerned for incredibly vaccine unfortunately only one game inside the top 20 at the running back position through the first five games of the season So we'll talk about that quickly though We're gonna do a little bit of an update. We got some news here We're gonna throw out on the screen. We do Adam chef to reporting that Trabian Henderson suffered a high ankle sprain in Sundays Win is now expected to be sidelined for multiple weeks per league sources He will not need surgery and he is regarded as a quick healer not sure where that information comes from So the Patriots are hoping that his return will be sooner rather than later. Yeah, so we go back to week one right I'm trying to pull it up right now We're just from our Steven's because I have Corey Keiner and he'll be involved a little bit But it should be their monitoring Stevenson show so week one they had 67 offensive snaps Stevenson played 57 at 18 carries and six targets expect that for a couple of weeks. Yeah, Stevenson Probably a fringe RB one. I stole this the other day when we were talking about it with Liz But you had said that the Hisbrook Steelers running back room was the easiest if-then conversation if there's no Rico Dattel then you start Jalen Warren well not even started. It's just like he maybe makes him a line-up lock, but he becomes like RB one in fantasy. Yeah, and we're kind of in that same thing without Trabian Henderson We know that reminder Stevenson is just going to fall right into that role. He will be busy We will talk about that more tomorrow probably on the show when we look at our rankings with that update Let's talk about Jeremiah love Mike another guy Do you want to know how many top 20 finishes Jeremiah love has to start? I don't want to but I know that it's one he has one so far and he's in a spot again where this offense is down We were talked about this yesterday. You weren't here, but with them being down I expected them to throw the ball a lot more to the running back that I thought would be the pass catcher instead Tyler Aljiro was out there a heck of a lot more looking again strength the schedule Jeremiah love He started a little slow came into the season banged up right got hurt in the preseason So maybe that was a little bit of they want to make sure he's fully healthy How are you feeling about Jeremiah love when you look at a strength the schedule moving forward? I mean the schedules the schedules mid-pack. It's been mid-pack so far it's mid-pack going forward It's a bit more difficult though. It overall though It's kind of average in the main reason that it works that average is because the fantasy playoffs is second-easy So that's what I've been kind of harping on since the preseason which is if he just slowly ramps his way up And gets more productive productive as the year goes on he could be a league winner The problem is he's not nearly as efficient or flashy as I thought I mean I you could see it on the table like you could see he has ability The problem is it's not turning in anything. He's average in 3.7 yards for a carry and 2.6 yards per target Of the only two targets of the last two games as well So three plus the first three games that's gone away It has been a problem I'm hoping that one of these weeks he's just going to rip off a big play And then the it's going to the momentum's going to be there and he's going to get rolling and keep the big workload I can't believe I'm a mental Michael. It's a it's a Descript descriptive not predictive Oh okay So I'm still radical momentum. I feel like if I have him I'm hopeful that there's more there like we could get there But right now it's just not happening really are being 19 in fantasy points PPR fantasy points per reception That's not what we expected. No, I expected more more out of him from that one I probably have him though As my number two in this list we'll talk about where we have them all ranking. He's okay Number one for me, but we we could rank at the end. Is that order? Yeah, let's bring it to you and we'll kind of go through Cam scataboo Liz. I want to ask you about cam scataboo cams at least had a couple of finishes inside the top 20 weeks one and week three both I'm sorry. Jeremiah love is the RB24 in fantasy points per reception I did because cam scataboo is the RB19 in fantasy points per reception. There we go Yes, but you've seen nausea Harris We just talked about this with one of these other questions like he isn't the guy Do you feel like when you're looking at nausea here? Excuse me when you're looking at cam scataboo and the touches and the volume that he's getting But not able to get that volume in the passing game also not really get in any touchdown equity at the goal line How are you feeling about cam scataboo means cam scataboo has one fewer reception one less reception than Jeremiah love He has 10 and love has 11 So I think that's more than we were Necessarily expecting and the fact that we keep getting infused because there are so many names as part of the discussion and the The equation is evidence of how I don't trace really back out there for a couple right like he I think he's gonna get a little bit So scataboo are be 10 in carries only averaging 3.6 yards per carry though. Yeah, the schedule I believe does get a little does get a touch more difficult for scataboo if it stays neutral for love It does get more difficult for scataboo. I think For me ultimately is which offense do I want to be a part of here and right now at least based on last week's performance I feel like the giants have more lift than the cardinals there Yeah, I feel like not much has changed for me from with scataboo from what I talked about on ffc on do we say ffc or ffcd ffc football count down Countdown is one word cd count down. I know I've seen it ffcd I like that for that maybe that might be no no. I didn't call it ff now. I call it okay. So I think that's okay Look the overall volume has been fine. He's 19 carries he 16th and scrim and yards 15 plus touches in every game That's going to keep you in the rb2 conversation every week, but to your point a lot like love the efficiencies not there 3.6 yards per carry you said that only the 10 catches the only is one touch and only two carries inside the five So I'm just kind of repeating what you guys just said basically There's not much I'll say I do like the matchup this week they play the Saints. They will have the most fans a lot of running back So he would be my highest ranked this week, but going forward the ceiling has just not been there He's just a floor. He's like Tony Pollard basically is like a fringe rb2 and the upsides not there right now I think we're also thinking both of these two players are dealing with potential health issues right like is loves ankle fully healthy and has scataboo While he's returned to sport has he returned to prior level of performance after the pretty catastrophic Injury from last season absolutely very catastrophic all right like a one more I want to write you guys obviously And that's the Ollie Gordon conversation. This one's triggering for me. I'm gonna try and keep it in control week three 17 carries 41 yards plus three catches for 14 yards That's 20 touches got in the end zone 14.5 fantasy points week four against minnesota really tough defense had a big breakout Nine carries for a hundred yards and a touchdown two catches no yards 18 fantasy points though And then last week again since he 18 carries for 88 yards 4.9 yards per carry another touchdown 14.8 fantasy points He's had three straight weeks where he's been inside the top 17 These other guys have had two weeks combined where they've been top 17 running backs I know they have a buy But looking at allie Gordon looking at strength the schedule I was more out than in and I think that I need to change the way that I've looked at allie Gordon Unfortunately, even though I thought boy if divine a chance couldn't do this. There's no way allie Gordon can do it I've changed to my narrative on the way. I'm looking at allie Gordon. Do you guys Feel the same way? I'm glad you said that because I think we start there which is I'm seeing More and more victory lapping on divine a chance and being a bad pick Do we think you would have done worse than this? No, I had even out there. He probably. would be doing better than this. He'd be doing the rushing and he would have certainly more involvement in the passing. Gordon only has five targets in 14 yard zero against Cincinnati of all. Yeah. I mean, that's what that's my hesitation. Gordon, I will say, is the lack of receiving work right now. The rushing's been good, but I don't know if that's necessarily sustainable. The rushing efficiency was poor. The first game was fine last week, the week before he only had nine carries that have under yards. But you mentioned this. You teased it. The Dolphins running back to the easiest remaining schedule this season. So that could be enough to keep them in the and it went from middle of the pack, right? Like from 15 to the pack to easiest going forward. So I think there's a good chance. He'll be startable. But I'm more, you said you were like triggered about the Gordon stuff. I'm more annoyed about the Devon H and Victor. I think I got hurt in like the running back situate. Yeah, but H and wasn't doing it. He wasn't doing it. He didn't come in and score a touchdown. And a sixth round pit comes in and performs at least statistically well better than the coveted player. I hear you, but the criticism wasn't on H and right? It was the situation. Because do we do disagree that H and one of the best running backs in the NFL? I mean, I made a talent bet on him ahead of the season. And now I'm allowed to be frustrated that the talent that was completely under look that wasn't even on any sort of name is the one that we're having a conversation about Oli Gordon. I don't think just because Devon H and get got hurt, but because he underperformed and then also back up over performed based on what I and I think you as a human. If I drafted Devon H and yes, and he didn't play well, the first two games of the season. And then he's still on a, it's still a bad team. And then his back up actually outperforms him after he gets hurt in shocking fashion against the Viking fans to just be frustrated that the running back that I thought was going to do this didn't and instead it was the guy that I don't think is as good as him. I'm frustrated that he got hurt. I think Devon H and would be putting up some nice numbers the last three. I think that's just what I think, but we'll never know. I mean, basically Oli Gordon is Peter Parker is what we're saying. That's what it is. Yes. So let's order these guys. So we got these four. One of these guys was completely undrafted. The other one we, I mean, all the other three we used a very big draft picks on order them for me because I would go, Jeremy, I love Oli Gordon, Omar and Hampton, Cam Skataboo. Wow. And my order is very different. I'm going to love Skataboo. And the last one was hard. Gordon and Hampton was close. I'm going to give it to Hampton. And the bet there is on talent that he'll get more, more as the season goes on. And a lot of perform who I don't know if he's really, I don't know if Oli Gordon has a talent moves the needle for me. You know, I did. Oli Gordon would be four then for you on that list. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Close call. Yeah. What do you have? Skataboo, love. Gordon Hampton. And then Hampton Hampton's last. Oh, it's gross that we're having this conversation to be honest guys. So we Gordon is probably better than Elise Hampton, but I think long term it might work out where Hampton's better. I have a hard time believe it. Yeah. I have a hard time believing that Hampton is just going to be treated this way the whole season, but short term, I'm very concerned, but long term, I'm hoping they, it was your strength of schedule rankings that actually made me rank him not dead last. It gave me the most optimism. That's a part why I wanted to do this because looking at these was like, it's a big part of it is looking at the strength of schedule moving forward. I want to ask you one last question on these guys really quickly, because they're anything that you would do if you had any of these running backs on your roster, or if you didn't, is there any of them that you would say, Hey, I want to do, I want to find a way to acquire them by low doing like that. Or is this just a, if you have them, you now have more information as to how we feel about their role moving forward. I'm holding love. I don't know if you're going to need a much for scataboo, Hampton, the only way I, if I have Hampton, the only way I'm trading him is if someone still views him, like, oh, still I'm marrying Hampton second round Valley. I think I can get more there. I can get a wide receiver to or something. You're just not going to get that right now. But if you can somehow, someone wants to buy low, go for it. But I'm going to drum up the buy low narrative on Hampton as someone who has roster who has them. Okay. What about Ollie Gordon? Would you, if you had Ollie Gordon, similar to the David Montgomery conversation that a lot of people had at the beginning of the season. Okay. You now have a guy that maybe turned into an RB two that you didn't expect. Do you try to hold on to this for as long as you can potentially get this volume? Or do you say now's the time for me to sell high because I've got three straight weeks where he's done pretty well. Yeah. I, the bad offense and the shaky or the limited receiving makes me think this is not necessarily sustainable. Even with a good schedule. So I would probably try to trade them. The problem is it's a terrible time. They're going to a buy way into a buy. They're no one wants to trade for anyone going into a buy week. You could look trading just in Jefferson or Jamar chase this week. Like yeah. People just don't want to do it. All right. We're going to have a couple quarterbacks and maybe we'll try to keep this as quick as we possibly can here. But potential segment. Is sustainability the best ability guys? Can we keep this up? We're going to do quarterbacks here. Two quarterbacks. One coming out of a buy. One heading into a buy. Bryce Young and Jared Goff. Let's start with Bryce Young because he's coming back playing this week. To be seven total of 90 fantasy points. He's been unbelievable. So far this year, nine total touchdowns, twelve hundred passing yards. When you look at everything that Bryce Young has done, when you look at the fact that they've got a great running back in Chubah Hubbard. Also catching passes out of the backfield and everything that he's got with Teter O. McMillan. Do you guys believe that Bryce Young is a top 10 quarterback moving forward for the short term? I think he can be. Yeah. He ranking him. The main issue. I would say I'm probably ranking him as if depending on the match, I'm more of a streamer. Okay. I think he is a shot at it. The problem is they go from the fourth easiest now to the hardest remaining schedule for quarterbacks. And he's not adding much with his legs or 19 rushing guard so far this season. So if the question is about sustainability going from where he has been for the first five weeks of the season to this hardest schedule, you would say sustainability is probably not what you would think. Bryce Young will come back to earth. It's a Cubi 13, not Cubi 10 situation for me based on the difficulty. And because we've seen him performing at such with such an easy strength of schedule with such a favorable strength of schedule. And now it's going to become much more difficult. And in comparison to Jared Gough, we're going to talk about like the surrounding talent. Like yes, Ted McMillan, we've seen things out of Jalen Coker. The backfield has question marks. Maybe Jonathan Brooks comes back. Maybe he's healthy. But I just don't think the surrounding talent is elite enough for him to make up for the lack of rushing. All right. Next one, Jared Gough guys. Jared Gough has been unbelievable so far to start this season safe to say that Jared Gough is what Matthew Stafford was in 2025 right now to start this right now the first five weeks, right? Yeah. Do you think that's sustainable? Again, giving what his offense is and knowing what he can be. Yeah. So do you want to give the stat? No, you can do it strength the schedule stat. Well, he went, you know, you do it. Bryce Young. Bryce Young, we say it says the hardest remaining schedule for quarterbacks. Jared Gough. Second hardest remaining schedule. So come on. I think he'll come back to earth a little bit, but Gough, I'm probably a hair mark optimistic that I am about Bryce Young. Just giving the offense. Yeah. They're going to they're just they're so good. They're so good. Yeah. He's been so good this season as well. Not going to run for any. He doesn't have a rushing touchdown though. So he's giving you a little bit there. But yeah, look, I'll give you one more quick stat. He leads the NFL and passing arts and second and passing touchdowns this season. He's finished top six and both of those each of the last four seasons. His finishes and points for game 13th, 15th, 7th and 12th. So probably going to come back to earth a little bit, but there's enough here to be a French QB one, a French QB one, especially with by weeks and and have a streaming option. Not this week. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Really quickly to talk to wide receivers and we can do this from the same squad and then we'll wrap it up. The Packers wide receivers have been unbelievable because we talked about Jordan love earlier. He's been slinging it to basically just Christian Watson and Matthew Golden Christian Watson. Four of his five games. He's had eight or more targets at least 14 fantasy points in every single one of those games that he had at least eight or more targets. 22 plus in three of five wide receiver three and fantasy points wide receiver five and receiving yards wide receiver two in touchdowns. It's amazing. What properly lengthened hamstrings do for a guy. I'm Liz. I mean, with him alone, we'll talk about Matthew Golden the second. Do you think that this is? I mean, with him being healthy. Is this what we should expect from Matthew from Christian Watson? Yes. I think that well, also the schedule eases up a little bit. So I like that. My biggest worry like I touched on earlier was that this defense gets healthier and the run game finds more stability and becomes more established, if you will. And so then the volume decreases. Yeah. So we want the defense to be bad. And we want the run game to be inefficient and and not utilize so that everything can remain through the air. And that's my biggest fear in terms of regression. But the schedule does ease up a little bit. So like the person should take as long as possible. Yeah, it's fully healthy to come back. Yeah. Yeah. I'm worried about a touchdown regression to the mean for Watson expected touchdowns 2.7. He has six touchdowns already. That's going to be hard to sustain going forward. But he does lead the NFL with seven end zone targets. Funny enough, Matthew Golden is tied for second with five to see. I love doing a show with Mike because I have the exact same stats. I love that. We did. I didn't copy from you. What are you talking about? No, we're just no, no, I'm sharing a mind. I think I feel good about my analysis. Yeah, me too. Me too. By the way, Matthew Golden, E.8 targets per game because he's been so busy. So I think it's, I think they come back to earth a little bit, but sustainable. I mean, the schedule, they've, they've the fourth hardest schedule so far for receivers. And they're still both wide receiver ones in fantasy. So you would have had golden has more sustainability than Watson because of the touchdown. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. We talked about that last week. I think his floor is probably a little higher based on how they're being used. Golden at least 11 and a half fantasy points in every single game this season, which, you know, I would love more than 11 and a half fantasy points sometimes. But if you said the guy that basically was a disappointment in a week in year one as a rookie gave us that through the first five weeks, I'd feel great about it. Turns out, you need the ball thrown your way to produce. Oh, that's what it is. You do that very much. Target tree. All right. Alright, I like that. Let's do a quick fab budget game before we get out of here. My friends are the best road trip hit stop food This is gonna be fun. If you don't know how to road trip properly, we're gonna find out Because I think there is a proper way to do this. I don't think you're gonna be thrilled with me. I'll say that Michael Really?
