wrath would get sixth he got sixth proving that i am the best at this game and if it wasn't for kellen just nuking one rider a week for the last month straight i would be 40 or 50 up by now but i will get to that later so you you know look we thought it would be a mudder we all thought it would be and it turned out it was and Shane mackerel wrath has been putting in the the rides in the mud so it's not like you uh i mean it was a good job don't get me wrong but it's not uh you know i was laughed at i even had dm from a few that said i'm an idiot oh i i uh so i take it to heart as well i mentioned it and look justin Cooper the guy this week who got ruined the the guy who literally just lives right around where i said but not this week not this week kellen course you can thank uh Troy Lee designs just in bar sure for that uh i talked to a star guy this week and was it his fault was it he said uh he the quote was Vince junior got jcoup on that lap and hung him up on that berm for a while yes yes so um hey everyone have about how about you dude oh bad love it hey he stepped for hay so hard in the second corner like welcome back yeah hey guys it's like i never left let's get nuts yeah he uh it was good it was good to have band back he was in a good mood after the race also so that's good man to see for sure um you know it the racing is better with jess and barsha in it uh maybe not for us maybe not if we were in it racing in it but for us watching sure yeah i mean he he gave everyone some in that heat race so vatja got some uh jcoup got a little bit yeah he he came out and reminded everything yeah it was it was great uh all right let's get into when it comes to that the club of next boys are back on the west coast this weekend that means kellen browers number one rider will be there and he's probably very excited about that um but four up another win five wins on the season what a story what uh it's just amazing man he's stacking it and the things like that we talked about on monday show with that ygant guy just oldest guy to win first championship oldest guy to ever win the championship um longest time between champions uh 2018 motorcycle private team not a factory team um so on and so forth ken roxon is authoring himself quite a story here but if he jick if he gets second if things go wrong the next two weeks Daniel that conund will all be like yeah yeah good year uh all right but what do you think does he get it done uh i'm gonna ask both you does he get it done it's so hard because i i do think hunter has a slight track advantage in the next two i i do i think they're better for him but i'm gonna i'm gonna call man i don't want to waffle but i it's so hard right now but uh here's all say this weekend is so unbelievable uh unbelievably pivotal for hunter more than kenny if you want to play the math a little bit here because kenny's up for if kenny was to beat him this week then you go into salt lake and kenny would have a little bit of insurance and if you look at the rosters out there right now like Eli's not in there i don't think he's coming back i've heard um chase trying to come back no he's trying to come back for this week chase isn't out there either i don't i'd be wasy this weekend sorry a little low blow there but i didn't see him once uh you've got pretty much the coopers out there to interfere with the game and um i just think kenny would go into salt like city with some really good math on his side but if it goes the other way then it's it's a it's a free for all so the the pressure is on hunter really this weekend you have to beat him just to give yourself that equal carve your own path destiny in salt lake city otherwise he's gonna need some help so uh the pressure is on hunter way more this weekend because he can't go any further back or kenny if it's there take it and if it's not there you still get salt lake to uh to have a shot at this thing so i i i can't wait man this series is rad again we talked about last week these two are enjoyable to be the two in this title fight and um i just can't wait till Saturday i've never i've never been this fired up at the uh in may of supercross spin a while yeah it's uh it's really really cool to see you did not answer the question of does he get it done oh uh let's go to the fraud and uh maybe he's got like a little bit of backbone here uh oh does he does he get it done yes i do because at this point in time right now i believe more in hunter in kenny's mentality than i believe in hunters i feel like kenny is in this zone and we've seen him be in this zone before 2016 outdoors everybody always talks about but when he realizes like this is his and he can take this he rises to the occasion in my opinion and i feel like hunter has kind of proven the entire second half of the season that he's not rising to the occasion and he is making a lot of mistakes and so i feel like we've seen the script already flipped the way that it's in a way exposed to go and i don't see it coming back the other way i mean kellen i would take i literally think hunter after Detroit emerged in Nashville and grabbed it back with a great ride clutch ride you know i agree with that but he's still found ways to lose it these last couple of weeks like he's given up 35 points now to ken roxon in a six-ray span so yeah all right you ready for my backbone steve yeah kenny does get it and kellen is right great point if we were playing the game with weege i mean who knows what the scored me it would be all over the place but there would be points go into kellen hunters two big screw up races were Detroit and cleveland and both of those were self-inflicted crashes in the whoops he did all on his own kenny's two big disaster races were Seattle when he got taken out by hunter and indy when he jumped into the back of ap so both of those were like extremely unique situations where he lost all his points uh lost his points hunter has lost his points on his own and kenny's one four of five which means hunter has lost four of five so yeah i it's it's just scary to say it because it's like you want it to happen so bad for kenny and you just don't want to just go there yet but i i if you make me have the backbone i'll ride with it i i think kenny's going to get this thing done and the uh the amazing script of ken rox and super cross career gets the greatest climax and finale of a story of all time straight up yes i ronick if he gets it done that you know a little bit of elitomax issues with me are me saying look no one over 30 has everyone the title and he's like oh yeah watch this and then the other guy over 30 wins the title um if he does get it done it's irony a little bit i think kenny gets it done i like that one point that could be huge even though kuper web is grabbed three seconds in a row and therefore it's not the old hey one two two one three points you know even though it's not that i like that one little point um for these next two rounds and and that might that might be the one that swings it for sure it's great though it's really awesome to see i will get some weather this week but i think saturday looks okay for denver so that's good um to to to have just straight up straight up you know i didn't look it is what it is the filled off the cleveland the weather is what it is the open air stadiums i get it but it is definitely favorite kenny favorite the gp guy favorite his history of in the mud all of that stuff uh there's no doubt that it favored kenny so i do wish that the nice These next two are straight up heart pack, just regular quarter. on quote super crosses. So, but I still think you got to done. Yeah. Before the fans rip you up in the comments for saying, Hunter came from the GPs too. I got your back on this one. Kenny and Koop have been in how many 450 mutters, how many like you can't even count. Hunter hasn't really been in that many of those. He, he doesn't have a lot of 450 experience. He missed a lot of his second year. Last year, he missed the back half of it. So in all reality, if you look at Hunter's 450 record, he hasn't done a lot of them and he's not done a lot of mutters. If any, they what, three or four tops where those guys have done 20. So in that three way battle at the end there in the main event, I was literally thinking man, how long can Hunter hold on in this moment in a situation that he's not as used to as those two. Those two dude, they can't even remember how many they've been in and Hunter can probably count them on one hand. So Hunter has had a little disadvantage the last two weeks with the weather. Denver, I'll tell you what, if Denver was your standard dried windy all week, hard pack dusty, I think it really helps him, but because it's raining all week and there's going to be probably a little bit of that built into the track when they pulled the tarps all that it'll be a little softer, which I think will help Kenny gets Hunter's better on hard pack, I think at the moment, Nashville proved that. So Kenny's got another little advantage this weekend with the weather screwing up a standard windy dry blue groove Denver. Absolutely. Next up for this, uh, truly designs race tech show, cold, Avis congrats to cold, Avis star guys, no congrats to will hawn everyone else there, though congrats. Uh, cold, Avis gets the title. And yeah, this sets them up, uh, Kellan and I were in the press box, looking at the rules that these things change all the fricking time. But basically it boils down to, uh, he has two more years in the class. If he wins next year, he's out. If he doesn't win next year, he's out after 28, uh, basically, so it is interesting. He's got, yeah, two more years at the most. We'll see what happens with cold, Avis. I think the star guys have locked them into a 450 program deal contract already. Um, we talked about his outdoor stuff. We don't need to hash that back up. I thought that was a good conversation on this show last week about that. But, um, yeah, um, no way, Blair, uh, and you've been at, you were a two feet guy forever locked into that class. Not that you were a title guy, but you understand the pointing system. I'm sure, uh, there was lots of discussion about it. Cold Avis has done a great thing. You can never stop the kid from doing it. But he has accelerated his timeline, hasn't he? Absolutely. If you look at, uh, they said it on the broadcast, a youngest since trade canard, uh, to win it. And he wrapped it up around early, even though I did get some pushback this week on some of my shows that he had a lot of help from Hayden's steak cut point deal. And it's like, okay, you're right. Mathematically, he did have a little bit of a help there with the, uh, with the assisted points. But, uh, either way, he is, he's shown enough. He's got seven wins in, I think 18 attempts. Um, if you're a 450 team right now, I mean, you're, you're salivating now, you're saying he's, no, you're not. He's got a 450 contract. Yes, man. He's got, they, they got that thing locked in. Okay. All right. We'll see. By the way, I'm not saying, I'm not saying it won't happen. I'm just saying I don't know. I think it's happened. I think it's about that. Okay. I don't know, man. Okay. Um, by the way, you mentioned trade canard. He's the reason the rule changed back then because Trey wanted his first year. And they were like, look, he's got to leave after next year. That can't happen. Uh, he's too young. He's too inexperienced. There's no spots for him. And the OEMs lent a leaned on felled in the MA and the rule got changed again. So trade was actually one of the figureheads to get in this thing. You know, and I agree with it. Listen, I'm the guy yelling about these guys being the class forever. But in cold Davies, uh, in cold Davies experience and trade canard stuff. Yes. Let them stay a little longer for sure. You know, I guess you would say if you want to lay, I think Davies is like Trey was, uh, he, he was pretty unbelievable, was able to move up and be pretty successful. In fact, remember when we did the show a few weeks back, it was like the most underrated writer. Trey could probably sneak into that conversation. He was gone early and had some injuries and crashes that kind of diminished and deluded how good he was. But man, that was another guy that I think was underrated. And um, it's crazy to hear his name on the broadcast as the last one because I remember that year. That was, that was our V's. I think third season, he was the champ on the other coast went to the other side and had this rookie kid pop up and, um, and, and win it. So it's, it's crazy to think back to that history. I kind of forgot about it. And um, but for Davies, I think the, the I test more than the results would tell you like the guys pretty good, man. Like he, he, if the timeline works, if he wins next year, dude, you didn't go. I don't think there's going to be any issue with it, especially with a lot of that older 30 generation kind of timing themselves out. He, he would land right in the jet and hunter and chase and J. Cooper and Hayden generation anyway. I mean, he's going to be at the tail end of that group anyway. And if he wins next year, get it all, just get up there and go. I don't, I don't think there's going to be a problem. There's no transition really with him. I don't think so. All right. Uh, fair enough. Um, to 50 West picks back up. Obviously, Deeks has this thing on lock probably wins again. But Daniel, there is a battle for second. Leave I catch you 133 max test, he 130 rider D 127 max, Volan 118, um, battle for third or battle for second, I should say here. I mean, not that it matters to these guys because they got spanked by Deeks, but it probably matters a little bit. I think so. If you're, I mean, if you're just trying to build towards the post Deegan era, which they all are, I mean, it's obvious he's gone. You'll have Davies in there again next year. But it's, it's a little bit of a pecking order thing and just your own confidence going in. If rider D, he's the, he's the one that can benefit here. If, if, if Levi gets it, whatever, if max gets it, whatever. But if rider gets it, he's the only one that leaves this thing going. Yeah, that mattered to me. And, um, because just where he was, where he is now and where I think he can get to, it would be part of that journey towards the front, um, and a shout out to him and a shout out to Dax Bennett on the other coast. But there's a chance that both of them are in the top three in points when the things all said and done. And that, that's a big rebound for Nate Ramsey and getting these kids that were shaky. Steve, I think shaky is a fair word. If you look at their last couple of years to end up in the top three with both would, would be crazy. And if rider D can get to second, that would be a, I think it would be big for him or the other two. It's like, it's already an L kind of, you know, uh, rider D is sort of on my list of sleeper guys for outdoors and we'll get more into that as we get going. But I think rider D is a solid outdoor sleeper. Yep. Um, something I've speculated on my shows is Levi kitchen. He's got a back issue. He's been fighting it. And I was saying like, look, man, I don't know how he's going to get through 22 motos with a back a lower back problem. There's no doubt he's been a hampered and less than 100% the last few weeks. And in my eyes, I'm like, look, you got to get that thing fixed. Um, and otherwise just, you know, how's outdoors going to go? Well, I checked in with some people around there and it has gotten better. He's straight up and resting and it has gotten better. So, outdoors we go for Levi kitchen. I don't know how this weekend will go for me as race in this weekend. Um, but it's just been straight like, yeah, not doing much to try to get this back working better. So that's, and that's a, um, it's productive in one way, counterproductive in the other. Essentially, you're not building for outdoors in 70 minutes a weekend. Um, it, man, if the backs find though, find enough, I mean, it comes down to starts with him. He's still start dependent a little bit. I think this year was better. He was able to blitz through the pack a few times in January where you're thinking, all right, that's getting a lot better. Um, but with the way the class looks this summer, I think there's going to be five to seven guys that are kind of going to be in this big giant net of, of talent. And if he's at the back end of that on the starts, I don't see him mowing through him anyway. So I, he, don't ride, but just do starts for like six weeks straight. And then, and that's all he needs to me to be a true contender. And if he doesn't get the start, it doesn't matter what his back is. So that, to me, that's where the, that's where the, uh, the line is for me, Steve, it's, it's, can you get off the gate this summer? Are those bikes better? Um, you know, in the, in the deep soft pole, they seem to be pretty good and super cross at times. But, uh, that to me, it's the starts for him more than the back. We're going to look back at say, ants, they get second place overall. Um, we're going to look back at his season and be like, huh, ants, the second overall, like, wait, what? Cause dude, it's been bad. Yes, he got on the box at sea, I will, or whatever, but, uh, holy smokes. If Max ends up on a second overall, I mean, to me, he's been so off the pace. You know, sea idle doesn't meant anything, just because of the way the track was, it mean anything about him being back as a guy, quote unquote. Hey, if he gets second overall, I get second overall, man. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, Anstey and thrasher are the only nonyama haus to win outside of. uh, Deigs and Davies. Am I missing here, buddy? Oh, Pierce. See, I am missing someone. Okay. Let's do this. What was the weirdest win? Nate, oh, Max Pierce. Great question. Right. No, it's great because you could make the case that all of them make sense. Pierce round one. This is like a redemption from last year's round one that he may be one. Thrash her gets his one winning year. So why would we be shocked at that? Of course he was going to get one. And then Max is a round one straight up killer. So all three of those make sense. But I guess you'd have to say the feel good of the three. I don't know which ones the, the surprising one, but the Pierce one for sure is the feel good one. And maybe the bigger surprise because he doesn't have a win to his name until this year. He doesn't have a lot of podiums either. If you actually look at the numbers, they were really small. So thrash her. You knew one was common. Yeah. Max. You knew he would be good in January against Deigs was maybe a little surprising to come out and win like that. I'll go Pierce just because he had never done it. So you and that, a that round one, East was loaded man. That thing was gnarly and he was awesome that night. So yeah, I'll go Pierce got all the help from the finish line flagger, but still road great. I'll go Pierce to Kellin. I think you probably got to agree because Daniel broke that down pretty good there. Yeah, I'll go Pierce, but also it's because that one. You look at all the guys coming into East. And sure I would put Pierce as a name of someone who should win, but then to battle Joe Shimoto, who was just coming back from injury like that whole main event felt really random. So I'll give it to Pierce because of that. Yeah. No Seth and no call on the podium that night too. So pretty much Deigs gets it done this weekend and then either Cole or Deigs wins Salt Lake and Yamaha wins every race, but one, right? Probably. I have that's the truth. Cowly should give set the bonus for that just for. Yeah. I mean, they haven't been issuing any in the 450 class this year, so they got some cash. Yeah, it's great. Sorry. No, you're fine. He rode great again in the mud. He got a heat race win the first of his career. This ties his career best and for the supercross. This is the hell of a season and then tag teaming on that Dean Wilson's been better than I thought. Shane's been benefiting from these mud races. Christian has been okay. Maybe the little bit of the week link there. But you're reef Konski quadlock. Good job guys. Ford for Hondas. Four guys really doing well putting in main events. Yeah. Good job quadlock. Yeah. Give him a lot of credit for keeping it together. I mean think about four four 50 guys and the good thing about that is you are dealing with some older personalities that are a little bit through it through the game enough to probably be a little bit better to handle. Then having you know a loaded truck of four younger guys trying to figure it out like these guys are they're all slick man and and smart and again capitalizing in the moment in their situation. But I'll start with Joey though man that is that was so rad like he is so rad this year and I think that he lost some time too. Remember he would he missed one or two rounds maybe. One races but I mean with the first race back into Troy he couldn't shift. Yeah. Yeah. And he and he had another issue at one point I think he was riding through something that was weird too. But it's just the continuation of a really good season that started in World Supercross you know I was there for those he I thought took a leap there. Came up short to Jason Anderson in that championship but you you you leave their feeling like dang Joey's in a new territory. And I know you said on one of your after your interview show after the race that he was all Debbie Downer one week or he was all that Cleveland. Yeah Cleveland. Yeah he's all bump so I don't feel like maybe that part of him will ever change. But at the same time he seems like he has changed on the track. He's leveled up for sure whether it's the transmission whether it's age with whatever. He's a new version of him out there this year and enjoyable. He's one of those guys I think everyone could root for and he's better had awesome season so far. Yeah. No absolutely. It's really cool to see for sure. I just don't know though. Dude everybody's up this year. Massive silly season game. We got Coonins probably coming over. March Banks feels really good about going back to Cowie for one I know. So to get that second spot I just don't know who's going to how we can get a factory ride. I don't see it. I don't see a path there for him which is unfortunate for him because many kind of deserves it. But there's so many good guys up and they're all kind of spoken for. Yeah you know what can I ask this question. I don't know this part of it. I don't know how the relationships all work with all the manufacturers but could could Honda themselves get involved and do something a little extra for him outside of the transmission because to me I wouldn't want to change other than I would want more money. Like if I'm him I want to make more obviously but would I want to go to triumph? No. Would I want to go to do Kadi on a development bike? No. Would I want to go? He's been in these places before that haven't really worked for him. He's somewhere that's working so perfectly. Is there any way for the manufacturer themselves to be able to come in and say, hey Will. We'll do him a solid because he's doing the best thing for us. I mean look you can't buy the Lawrence Brothers bikes. Okay. But Joey's bike is a little bit more like to the market. It makes sense for the market. I think he does better for the market because it's a little bit more of a realistic bike. Could they jump in at all and maybe just throw him a little something to keep in there and make him happy because he's good there. He's really good there. Yeah. It normally doesn't happen like that but they could. They could double contingency. They could top 10 bonus program. All that stuff just to yeah keep them on red. That's what I would be trying to do. Yeah. Stuff like that has happened for sure. By the way Monday night Pulp show in a hilarious conversation between Phil and Joey just Phil tweeted why are they knocking the whoops down which is hilarious because sweet Jesus if Phil was racing and someone said why are you knocking the whoops down. He would have jumped down their throat but now he's on the couch with some beers and he's like why are you knock on the whoops down and then Joey called in and said you're an idiot and they just started yelling at each other so that was great radio. That's amazing. Yeah and then we got into how much Joey makes and all of that. So if we ever get an answer you and I were trying to get at that for a while. We got nowhere huh. No we got nowhere but JB said 700 and Joey is like bro he is drunk. He is drunk as it comes for 750. So then we started throwing around 500 and doesn't even sound like it's that. So World Supercross stuff doesn't pay like it used to. That's for sure. They've cut that money back. Even though it is all right but tell him I don't tell him I don't know if you want to jump in here. You heard the conversation too but it does seem like Joey is not not really close to 500. Definitely not 700. I would not say close based on the way that he was interacting with that conversation. Right. Right. This is also the guy who get out the best race of his night and his life and then be like literally sad about it and like moping in the rain. So who knows how accurate he's going to be if I was him I'm not giving away anything. In fact he's probably making like 900. He's just full of it. Yeah that would be great too. He's playing he's playing awesome. But yeah so back to the quadlock guys Shane doing well. Dino's doing well. It's cool to see these guys in the mix and they're all like veteran guys finding a home. So we're going to do Aussie series. So we're going to WSX series. They're going to do some nationals also. So cool. Cool little team and good job guys. With that I want to move on to the next one. MX six. Yes. There's some injuries on the ace coast. Yes it's watered down. Okay. That's fine. But Henry Miller and Derek Kelly Henry Miller has been really really good this year. Long time veteran guy. If you think about it MX six Ollie stones manager over there. It's a new team. They rode Yamaha's last year and now they're on cowies. MX six is a little quadlock ish. They got Marshall Welton and Henry Miller and Derek Kelly all 250 vets as opposed to the 450 vets and Miller's eighth. Derek Kelly's ninth. The Welton's 12th and the points. Good job Ollie and MX six and all of that. Like I don't know. I've been I've been stoking Henry Miller's flames for a little bit here. He's riding really well. Yeah I love Henry too. Did World Supercross for Rick Ware last year. So I've got to spend a lot of time out here at club with him and really like him as an individual Derek Kelly he's a he's a clown. guy to from last year that I got to work with. So on the personal side, really happy for both of them. As far as the team goes, I mean, make it some really smart moves. Like the first thing you do is you go get Ollie, right? Like, Ollie has experience in so many different ways from the PC days to the TLD days. So there's, there's a range of experience back on a Kawasaki. So you know, he knows, he's familiar and has some history there, which brings a legitimacy. Then you go out and smartly go and get a couple vet guys, right? Just get you in the top 10, be up there as much as possible like Derek and Henry. And then don't forget, they still have Alex Fedor stuff. Clubs guy last year. Huh? Who? Yeah. What's going on? He got hurt before the season. Is he ever racing again? Yeah, he'll be, I believe he'll be back for the summer. You didn't know that? I mean, I don't know, man. Yeah, I never heard anything about him getting hurt again. What do you got hurt? I think his wrist or something and he did an Instagram video week or two ago. And I think it's going okay. And I believe he'll be back for the summer. I think. All right. Okay. So at the point I'm making is you've got some youth and then you go and get some vet guys to go and like get it done and and hold up the brand there in the front half of the field. And you get through a season and now you're you're at a good spot. So I know they have pretty good money behind them as far as the investment goes. I think the owner is pretty all in. And so I would say just from a team building side of things like they've done a really, really good and smart job getting that thing off the ground. Yeah, they have for sure. And it's funny like the guy is well off. The best way to make a million dollars in racing is to start with two. I hope the guy doesn't, you know, real I hope he doesn't realize that for a little while. But like, all these like, yeah, Mitch Payton said they'd give us exhaust, but the owner really likes a cup of it. So we just bought them. And I'm like, wait, what? That's the kind of guy's role in like, I mean, you know, nothing wrong with a PC exhaust, but they just wanted a crop of it. So they went and bought them. So cool man. Yeah, the hope for the for them for the sport and for the riders that end up there that end up there is that there's longevity in that attitude because that sounds great in the beginning of its TV. You know how it goes year two three four. It's like, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait, wait. Hold on me. Look at that PL again. Yikes. So I just hope that for for everyone's sake that there's longevity in the in the planet and the vision. It's time. It's time here on the Troy Lee Designs race tech Blair Mathis project. It's time for SMX next corner, SMX next corner. Kellen and Daniel, I'll throw it to you. We had a national championship handed out Deakin, you know, Deakin Jones, Denno, won it. Frappy got second, rough night for the club boys, but go ahead, you two and break down the results of the finale surprises, disappointments, the thoughts, all of that. Kellen, I usually that you go first on this and yeah, I mean, I think that the top three, we definitely talked about the top two kids for sure. I think Fippani is getting back into some semblance of himself and he talked about that post race of what he's been going through. But, I mean, I said this in the press box to use to even I feel like it was met with a little vitriol. I think Kate Minier is blowing this. Like I feel like Kate Minier should be winning easily against these, maybe not easily, but he should be beating these kids. And he's now raised four of them this year and he's crashed in two of the first turns and he finished six than another one. And yes, he did win one, but I feel like he should this should be like the easiest not again, I'm not trying to make it sound like these kids are bad, but he should be using this as the stepping stone to get to where Cole Davies is and he's in my opinion kind of blowing it. So, that's my big disappointment. I'll pick up off the back of that with yeah, definitely a rough go if you're talking about the trajectory and where it's gone because he came right out in one St. Louis last year, the All Star final, then he or no, he won the Hangtown Combine, then the St. Louis final, then Anaheim 2. So, he won three in a row in every facet of amateur racing. He did outdoor, he did an SMX race, he did a super cross and you're thinking dang one, two, three in a row. And then the Houston crash, which was I don't think is much his fault, right? Did anyone get in his way or something in the whoops? Something happened to him that wasn't like it, it wasn't directly his fault. But since then, it has been unbelievably bad and I do believe he's racing outdoors for them professionally. I think that he's doing the whole summer, which is where he is a little stronger anyway. So, I think he has a chance over 11 weeks to kind of write the wrong of all this because this is not gone the way it was supposed to go. I mean, he came out in one the first one and then it's gone completely sideways since then. So, yeah, that's my thoughts on manure. And then as far as Denno goes, all what did he say? I could do it in the mud, I could do it in Daytona, I could do it anywhere. I think is what he said of the podium, which was pretty rad. And Steve, he was one of my Orange Brigade kids. Unfortunately for KTM, he was stolen as well. It's part of the trend. And Triumph got a good one. That's all I can say is that Triumph got a good kid, a good family, and a gritty kid with a big high ceiling as I like to say. And they nailed that pick. So, good on Triumph to do that. So, I saw a milk rimer, the owner of FXR after the race. And I was like, hey, rough night for rider. And he goes, yeah, he fell. I'm like a whole bunch of times and he goes, not just once. Kellan. I remember him down for a very long time once. I don't remember the other crush. Maybe there was just one then I swear I saw JB or someone said, oh, Mellon, he's down again, you know, so I believe it was fastest and qualifying. Cool, man. Yeah, we'll give him a plate. Give him a number one plate. I mean, they give him out there for almost anything in those things. That's good point. The two shills on the review pod had no problem with that race being a national championship, by the way, they had no problem with that. Okay, so, Kellan, when you say that there was vitreral about Manir, was that from me? I mean, it was a little of you and Lewis. I said that he should be beating these guys easily. And you guys were both like, no, come on. No, no, enough to have them that strong. Well, then it must have been more Lewis because I remember feeling like I had to defend this take as if it was ridiculous. The starter was the first. So Lewis, Lewis says it. Steve standing there and says nothing. So it's them. Well, honestly, no, in the way our three relationships work is the other guy normally piles on, you know, one side or the other, just, you know, like just like, like, Kellan will say something like you're an idiot, Lewin. I'll be like, yeah, you're an idiot. And it just never a two on one debate. It's a one on one. The other guy just picks one. Yeah, yeah, because we want to make the, we want to make the third guy feel bad and look like a loser. It sounds like a great relationship. It is. It's great. It's great. One. Okay. And so how did how did Jessup do? Well, how did he, how did your guy? There's no Jessup in the field. Jessup. Jessup. Jessup. Jessup. When Rider went down on the first lap, Jess and got stuck behind him and was pretty much dead last and then caught up to fourth. Okay. So and almost got to the podium. He's like two seconds back of a pony. So actually rode really, really well. We went into the club truck after qualifying to go see my guy, Devon. I like Cody too, though. I don't want to make it sound like that. Just, you know, Devon's running the pulp sticker. Neither one of them were there, but I did run into an Australian guy, a couple of super cross titles. Yeah, standing there. Yep. And we got into a heated debate, DB on production bike testing. And he's got some strong thoughts. And I'm like, you would be a horrible production bike tester. And he disagreed and we started yelling at each other. I'm like, dude, you know, you're too good. You're too like, I said, there's things in the production bike testing that, you know, basically like, hey, we can't do this because it costs too much. So you got to pick between this fork and that fork. And Chad would just blow up at that, probably being called the Japanese or Austrian people idiots. Anyway, so we nice little debate with my guy CR22. You know, it's just funny. We've known each other forever at one point, didn't like each other. He's a good dude. It's just I'm not backing down and he's not backing down down. You'll serve us fantastic. I'll be the referee if you'd like. Yeah. Yeah. And heavy heavy L for you on this one, like unbelievably heavy L. Chad is out riding, testing and perfecting his daughters 125. And we all stop to watch because he rips on a 125 still and he did a lot of our testing on our bike, even last summer before he was really with the team. He would rip on a washing machine. I know, but he's also tuning suspect. He is a phenomenal tester. He actually helped with our engines last year before he was even part of the team, just kind of being there. And then yeah, I know he was a big part of the testing and developing. And then on race days, helps make the decisions on the bike. No, he, we have production bikes that are, you can, I mean, you want to go and spend some money. You can go have the Club of Max bike. It's out there. We used twisted. We use REP. But we have Chad who did tune those bikes really well this year. So no, you, you unfortunately, Steve, I know you and I are like this a lot, but big L for you. Sorry. We had a good week this week and And the last time you saw them in the West only was their heat race in St. Louis where they went two three behind the deeks So we're feeling good. It was a really good season from like a racing standpoint Because I didn't feel like there was a lot of hate necessarily like they didn't love each other but Oh nine there was hate like there was clear Blood in the water between both of them and every week it was like watch this man watch what's gonna happen next So to me that was all time viewing pleasure Daniel that was mine That's the year I filled in for Geico. I'm not gonna lie. I had my own responsibilities in the 250 class But I was pretty caught up in the 450 stuff just as a fan probably should have known right there Steve that I wasn't meant to be a racer Because I was way more of a fan of what was going on in the 450 than even my own situation It's a little foresight for you there. I shouldn't know But I same with Kellen it was like it was real drama like I remember on track walks I'd be like looking for them and just to see like where they were and it was like It was so non-manufactured true hatred Every week was sick and so that was mine, but since Kellen ruined it. I did have a backup just in case Okay, then this goes way back But the the the stand and Bradshaw one and and for me I liked Bradshaw always he was my guy over Stanton but I always had this like respect for Stanton just knowing his story as a little kid like knowing that he got it done not through You know the speed or the flash, but he was just like that guy the character and so I was just young kid kind of fascinated in that and But a little bummed when Bradshaw lost it So that one was just it catches me in my youth in the early days of what I became like a die hard crazy person for this sport was a Bradshaw and Stanton all right. I'm gonna date myself and Go back to dv with Stanton Bradshaw, but except I'm going to add one more in there the Stanton Bradshaw 92 stuff was great, but really I'm gonna add in the all-time is Stanton Jommeshaw bail they didn't really battle to the wire for titles, but dude You talked to any of the old timers Dave Arnold and Roger and Jeff and the mechanics Stanton bail hated each other. Okay The mechanics hated each other mechanics almost fought at a at a hotel breakfast bar one one year cliff white and Dan Betley They almost got into a fist fight Um, they absolutely hate each other bail broke his arm in 90 Was winning the championship came back to Buds Creek. This is not to do with Stanton But Honda said okay, but you got to help Kirdrauski to win the title over Guy Cooper And bail said I'm not doing that and they said okay, you can't race. He said okay cool Then you go to 92 call a see him Stanton Bradshaw, which db talked about and bail is writing behind Bradshaw To help Bradshaw His teammate just stanton he's de-gaff about stanton. He's trying to help Bradshaw and go go go go go Damon Damon was not having a fun time out there These guys absolutely hated each other. They were on the same team the mechanics didn't talk the riders didn't talk They were practiced at different times J&B on purpose After riding at Honda Land would grab a Kit Kat and a Coke and eat it in front of Jeff Who was this gnarly trainer nutrition guy and he did it all the mess with his mind these were teammates And they were writing different classes and they didn't care all time like rivalry right there, but they didn't really battle for the championships. I mean they did in 91 J&B got all three over Jeff Jeff got him in in 92 but Yeah, though that's When you hear the guys behind the scenes hating each other That's enough for me. Yep team eight uh did Katerouski Who did he did he go says bike into loraco? Yeah, that was on cowie days red bud. They were cowie teammates though, right? Yep. Yep That's another yeah, that was a feisty little sitch That was different because they had a semi back then so they had to like go up to the semi and like you know See each other right like yeah, they didn't even have box fans to get away from back then dude Could you imagine right now with the sport and the world the way it is right now if one of the teammates came off and ghosted his bike Into the teammate coming off the track LVK show how LVK show would have a week of material right there. Oh everyone would we would all be oh my god the fans would be like Uh, we don't get none of that no more. Yeah, we miss those days. We haven't had a real nasty rival reader. Why it's always like so respectful like the the Ryan's Like respected each other and then Eli and Kenny have this forever thing but they respect each other you know what I mean like Yeah, it's Diggs is digs is gonna upset the apple card here.
