The transcript blends a product launch from Mavily New York—a new grippy setting mist that delivers long-lasting, comfortable hydration—into a dynamic fantasy football discussion. The core of the show centers on evaluating team performance, injuries, and player potential, particularly focusing on the New York Giants’ quarterback decision to move JJ McCarthy from the Vikings, a move seen as risky due to McCarthy’s poor stats and inconsistency. The Bears and Eagles are also under scrutiny, with concerns over Caleb Williams’ health, Justin Jefferson’s possible return, and a lackluster offensive output in the Eagles’ game. The fantasy analysis emphasizes matchup importance, highlighting how player value fluctuates based on opponents. Notable waiver targets include Braille and Allen (Jets), Alvin Cameras (Saints), and Zack Charbonne, with varying expectations based on team depth and injury status. A "fish or cut bait" segment on Drake May reflects ongoing debate: while he’s underperforming, his past MVP-caliber season and rushing potential justify keeping him on the roster. The hosts also discuss key fantasy trends, including the growing influence of matchups, and conclude with a reminder that player value remains fluid, especially in injury-prone or transitional scenarios. The show blends entertainment, insight, and strategic analysis to keep fans engaged in both the real and fantasy football worlds.

Welcome in a fantasy focus. Football alongside Michael Leicester Clay Jr. and Field Ministry dates. My name is Daniel David Dopp. Very excited to be here with you guys. How are you doing, Field? You know, I feel a little bit more aerodynamic myself these days, Daniel. Yeah. I was saved this morning. I can see that. Yeah, sort of dude. Did you shave? You know, I'm just like an electric shaver. I've heard that, you know, the less hair you have on your body, the more aerodynamic you are. Oh, that one you hear. Well, I hear. That's what you hear. We'll talk about that a little bit later on in the show. We have a lot of stuff to get to in today's show. Hello, Michael. Oh, hi. I'm trying to delete the box we're from. Oh, I know. I'm sorry. Can you just delete it? And then it goes away. And you don't have to think about it. Wild. A little game, unfortunately, quick, because I don't want to talk about it. Yeah, we're going to obviously dive into the Monday night football recap. We also have our start to the week. We had to talk about our long shots to check in on. We got knockout leagues. We're going to talk about waiver wire targets in week four and a very fun segment at the end of the show called fish or cut bait guys we're deciding. Are we going to keep rolling with or we going to cut them loose to our bench? You start fishing and suddenly we're doing fishing segments. I didn't even bring it up. This is your idea. I mean, I was motivated. I knew that if I pitched the segment, yes, you would say absolutely, I'm doing it. You knew that I would captain it. I'd be the captain of your idea. I'm the captain now. Okay. All right. Hey, speaking of being a new captain, let's talk about some news that we got yesterday. Guys, James Winston's still going to be the starting quarterback of the New York football giants. Or now, but JJ McCarthy moving over cost a fifth round draft pick from the Vikings. Curious how you guys feel? If any change at all with this move and what it could mean for the giants past catchers moving forward. So this is the down the line thing. As you just said, obviously not right now. It's hard. This is deep cut stuff. Yep. But when you need deep cut stuff, who do you turn to? House oppie. House oppie. Yes. He did pull it. He did pass along to me. Did Kyle. Okay. That's that out there's to go. Last season when targeting tight ends. Okay. JJ McCarthy had the sixth best passer rating in the entire NFL. All right. He's a Hockerton. Like wasn't a great factor last year. But when looking at the quarterback rating for players when throwing two running backs and wide receivers. Yep. JJ McCarthy ranked 33rd, which I believe was worst. So if you're looking for an Isaiah likely case, I just made it for you. There you go. I mean, if you're watching what was on the screen, that's really good. That was a really good tweet. It was a who's the who's the quarterback of the giants and a picture of Isaiah likely. It's likely nine like this Jersey likely nine. I wonder what uniform JJ wears. This would be the most probably like impactful uniform number change in quite some time. Yeah. It's like Lebron when you just out of the go from 23 to six. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's just a huge one for sure. I'm not sure about that. What? I mean, if you ask Vikings fans before yesterday, it's not a stretch at all, but now they're just like, okay, good. We don't have to defend this guy anymore. Look, his number so far, you know, it was looking yesterday, just 10 games with the Vikings 11 touchdowns, 12 picks. The efficiency numbers for such a young quarterback are, you know, poor for an NFL starter, but like not awful. I mean, not, you know, six point seven yards per 10, 58% completion percentage. He also ran for 181 yards and four touchdowns in those games. Maybe there's hope here, obviously it didn't look great last year. Those numbers are probably a little better than he looked out there on the field. So it's a dark throw by no pun intended by the giants here. I'm surprised by it. I thought they'd go more of a veteran route just because what happens if he pans out? I mean, I guess it's good because you could trade him. Yeah. You could always trade him if Jackson, if Jackson, Jackson, I will come back next year. So interesting one for sure, but I think we're probably just a few weeks away from, from McCarthy being understood. Guys, you're bearing the lead. He was three and oh, in his career against the NFC East. Oh, is that right? Undefeated. What? The new division is going to be playing in the Vikings defense was undefeated against the NFC's. Quick thing to say really fast just because this is going to be the wave of a show. Is there any reason or any league in which you guys? Okay. I just want to put it out there. No, super flex. Oh, deep, super flex. Like three. If you're trying, like, if like, you're wearing a leagues where every quarterback is Ross, that may start is on, is rostered. So if that's the only format that's it, I don't, I have Tyson, Tyson Beijing for perspectives. Yes. Who may not even start it all this year. McCarthy or Drake may rest of season. Stop it. Stop it. That's me. Let's talk about Justin Jefferson. Yeah. Had an ankle injury. It was told, I mean, the coach said that he could have potentially come back if it was a game that was important enough for him to come back into. Have we had any updates? I haven't seen anything that says, there we go from Ian rap, uh, Ian rap port says has an ankle sprain with the imaging was good, avoided anything long term. There is a chance to play on Sunday. The only thing that I would say about this, uh, there's been multiple reports including Ian's is that we've had a few instances this year where players early in the week have been reported as having avoided a major injury and having a chance to play that week. And then and then miss, you know, at least a week, you know, if, uh, so we'll obviously, we'll see on Justin Jefferson, if he's in, you're going to play him. If he's out and this is a great matchup against Miami playing in Minnesota this weekend, then Jordan, that is, and becomes very interesting. He's 20 points last week. All right. Yeah. Anything else you guys ready to dive into? I'm very sorry. Michael Mike. I'm not ready for this. I'm a bathroom. I'm going to take a break. Yeah. It's just bad. And this was a tough one. Barrasing watch as he goes in. Eagles and bears. Did any of us have any faith in case, Keenam? Uh, fielded. I mean, yeah. You'll like to more than be agent and pick the bear. So props to you, sir. Uh, I, um, you know, this is one of them games watching Eagles slow start like, okay, Keen was getting away with some stuff. Just picking them apart. They'll adjust. It started to trend that way and Eagles just making mistake after mistake. I mean, that was the hardest Eagles game to watch in years. I mean, that was hard, hard game to watch. If that was the worst team in the NFL, you'd be like, yeah, this checks out, just constantly making errors like that. I mean, they could not help themselves embarrassing watch and, uh, kind of hopefully wake up call for them because, you know, they barely got past the Titans barely got past the commanders and now getting smoked by a third string quarterback is a really bad look. Um, do you guys feel like we can buy a little more time before we draw final conclusions on the Bears players because Caleb Williams has basically played one game in real, like, there was terrible weather last week. He gets hurt during the game. I feel like there's still a chance that things turn around for this Bears offense and we have increased confidence in some of the seal guys. Do you agree with that or no? I both agree with that and also don't know how to quantify if Khalif Raymond is just going to keep hanging around with the noise us the entire season. You know, we are. I'm on a Lions group thread with you, of course, Daniel. Um, and all the Lions fans in that thread were like, dude, Khalif's like a good player. He's just, I'm under all saying Brown exists so he wasn't ever going to have a huge role with Detroit. He was a good player. But he's like 32 and he's never had a production like this ever. I know. Like, this is kind of wild. It is wild. I think he's a good player. I think what's more surprising is just how little the pass catchers and aggregate are doing except for Luther Burton. Yes. Luther Burton did have a nice night last night. Yeah. His eight yard touchdown catch. He like push the putt and the bear is push the pile into the end zone. That was cool. We might be feeling a little bit different about Colston Loveland or Roman Dunesay. If Loveland had slightly longer arms or Roman Dunesay didn't drop a pass wide open in the end zone. But my personal stance here is that I think there's a chance when Caleb Williams is back after maybe a week or two of him getting reintegrated into this offense that we're talking about Colston Loveland relatively close to where we were talking about him coming into this season. While casking him as more passing touchdowns than Drake, man, that's a tough stat. And I think Luther Burton and Roman Dunesay, I think it's going to be a little bit of a trade-off situation. The Eagles are more interesting to me right now because like they're, they wait until we get to that point. Are you starting Roman Dunesay? I am not. No, he's wait. I mean, he's getting point. He was widers. He were 49 for me coming. Coming into this. Yeah. Once again, Raymond seven targets in this game of Dunesay at six. I mean, he just continued. You can make a case to start Raymond over at Dunesay right now. You shouldn't start at Dunesay right now. He has a talent that he belongs on bench is now. You kind of have to hope that, remember, he was injured leading up to the season almost in a playweek one. You have to hope that he's getting back to 100% at some point. He'll have that big breakout game again to your point. He had an end zone target shoot out of touchdown. It may come. Not a starter right now. Yeah. Rome's a bench. And then loveland, loveland and the burden both were like arrows trending up after I would still say a lovelin on benches. I mean, I don't want to. Really? I mean, if you're in a tough spot, he's a borderline starter. But he's like arguably like Dalton, Dalton, Dalton, Dalton Schultz, uh, how on her Henry, like Tucker craft. Like he's in that tier right now. I mean, he had four targets out of 34 pass attempts. It's bad. Like, that's not going to cut it. And that's been a trend. Three games in now. Yes. I agree. He's a trickier one. There's a lot of options in leagues where I have a lot of questions. Limited words. The doons a the pivots are so much easier. Yeah. The doons a I wonder if at some point we'll have a conversation. It's not quite as dramatic given the circumstances in which they entered the league and were drafted. But it feels a little bit like.
Marvin Harrison Jr. right now a little bit, you know, they were taking the ice. And I've said about it, you know, I you're upset about he at least had a string last year. Really good. I feel he gives you some hope, but yeah, it's just maybe not a string, but Mars had some pockets, but not quite not like not like not like Roman did to open last season. He was my team. He was at what a top five fantasy receiver. And then it really sunk. I don't really know exactly what's gone wrong. I know that I'm look Caleb blame passing efficiency wasn't great last year. Like he can do a lot and he's a playmaker and add a lot of value with his legs. But he completed what like 59% of his passes. That's not a good number like that, if that connection between them to once Caleb's back is going to have to. So to put a pin in the bears quickly. Yes. Goldstein leveling fringe tied in one, I mean like possible starter intensity with you. Luther Burton, the bears wide receiver. I have the most confidence in the lineups, not too far behind that. Khalif Raymond on benches for right now. Roman doonsay. Yep. For the Eagles. This one's frustrating. I mean, Mike, I'm sure it's more frustrated, but like the I test is not great. Dylan Hertz late in week one through two touchdown passes last week was just okay. Where does Jalen Hertz generally tear right now amongst cubies? He's a back. He's fallen to fringe cubie when he's not running that much either. It's probably running. Yeah. I mean, he was kind of kind of built out last night by that last second at the end of the first half. Tush push. Yeah. Absolutely was. Yeah. It wasn't good. They there were time, especially early in the game. It felt like they were going to get going. Like it just seemed like they were starting to move the ball. There was something going on offensively. Dvante Smith obviously made some plays. That guy is ridiculous, but they just couldn't get consistently get drives going. And that was the same thing that happened last year. So you have to hope that it's just taking some time in the Shawn Manion offense. But it's it's not like they can't drive down the field and score just like last year. That's a big problem. That's sequence when he came off the field to get checked out for concussion. And then Andy Dalton throws an interception at the goal line. Like that felt like the turning point. There was a lot of times still left in the game, but to me, that felt like the turning point. Like it was brutal. A friend of mine made a point with his big Eagles fan as well. Like the Eagles are carrying four quarterbacks. And like your backup comes in and does that. I mean, what's the point? I have it all in quarterbacks. You're going to step in for one play and throw it right to the defender. Unacceptable. Not great there for the Eagles. And I talked about this what a week or two ago, like we've de-graduated from a lead running back for safe one. Barclay. Yeah. We just have. And it's not his fault. He ran. He was great in that game. I mean, the running lanes were massive. They did it off every play, honestly, because they do is do is unstoppable over five yards of carry. Yeah. But the two question marks, when we talked about this a couple weeks ago, where he's not going to get the goal line work, at least not to himself, because the push push is still loud. The two goal line works they had was Jalen Hertz getting a touchdown and Andy Dalton throwing an interception, right? Those were the two goal line opportunities. And then safe one doesn't catch passes anymore. One, I give you two receiving yards. Yeah. Will Shipley is playing a role in passing situations. Yeah. And the second time in the series lost yards in the game, didn't even negative receiving yards and weak one. He'll have Kai Lemon. There's too many negative. Oh, maybe it was. Yeah. Oh, man. Yeah. I hear you. Where this passing offense is going to start to kind of mirror the Ravens with the way we look at it. Whereas much as we liked on TV and Wix, he's kind of like the Rashad Bateman of this offense. Yeah. I mean, that's what we thought coming in. That's a one thing we got right about this. I mean, we thought they'd score more Devante Smith. And then that's basically it. I know Wix had a couple of pockets earlier, but I think that was more fluky than it is sustainable. Yeah. I mean, Zachards made his return last night. Didn't play a lot. It was his first game of the season, but yeah, definitely. They all have the feeling out. They felt like, yeah, maybe less likely to move on from him in next off season. They just realized hours. Doesn't work out. Guys, I just really want to last thing very so fast. I want to give a quick shot. Yeah. Yeah. Didn't play a lot. It was his first game of the season. Yeah. Definitely. They just realized hours doesn't work out. I want to give a quick shout out to Case Kingdom. This dude came off of the bench and he was a top five quarterback, the top five quarterbacks for this week. No way. Unbelievably, I don't want to say gross, but just not what you would have expected coming into the week. Yeah. We have a full screen here. Brock party number one. Sam Darnell number two. Geno Smith number three. Jacobi Brissett number four. Case Kingdom number five. Those are your top five fantasy cards. Here's the question. No, you're in a normal 10 or 12 team league. You putting a claimant for any of them. We're like, assume parties on a roster, not him, but like Darnell Smith, Brissett, Kenem, claiming any of those guys. We'll talk about Brissett a little bit later, but the rest of them are a no. Okay. I think the biggest thing for quarterbacks this year that I've noticed early, man alive to matchups matter. Oh, yes. Because there are some absolutely feastful. I made that word up against second word. I made up in two minutes. There are some opportunities to feast around. And this is, we, we talked about this after when we did our week one rankings, we were like, why is a guy that's ranked like QB two or three so low? Because that, we said it's Josh Allen. And then there's this gigantic tier of quarterbacks. So matchup is going to swing these guys from 21 to seven some weeks. I mean, wait till you see this, wait till you see the rankings tomorrow because I have two guys in the top five or six who are outside the top 12 most weeks. So it matchups are huge this year. Speaking of matchup guys, I tried to play matchups quite a bit when I did start to the week here, the other week, whoops. Quick recap here field. We're going to start with you for this one. Here we are in a week three. You started Tyler Shuck. He played very well again. Yep. Bucky Irving. Gara Wilson absolutely smashed and Travis Kelsey. Only two catches, but he just keeps doing the thing on the end of 72.2 total fantasy. I'll take that. Bucky, obviously got banged up. Oh, my, my score in correction, I need a scoring correction. Uh-oh. How come? Cause I lost by like one point. Oh, that's why. Okay. Not because there was actually a girl. Okay. Brock Purdy 31.28 Mike got lucky because he played a DFS lineup. The stack with George Kiddell, those two late touchdowns, 26.2 fantasy points for Kiddell, Juddkins and Teterall McMillan both dutted, but 71.08. My starts of the week for this week. There's no. Oh, no. Two but Hubbard. Nice. Also, only fine. Chris Olave, 19.7. Guys, so freaking good, man. Guys, Dalton, King Cade. I can't get the tight end position. Nice. That was Ken, which means for the second week in a row, I've got to spin the wheel. Yeah. By the way, we were texting group, group texting about this. And I was like, I'm in trouble and I was before either of the two touchdowns from Purdy to Kiddell. I just started, started heating up and Purdy actually had a, we were laughing because Purdy had a long rushing touchdown. But there was a hold at the last second by Kiddell to stop at the next play. He catches the touchdown. It was like a very selfish hold. He ends up getting the points out of it, so even better for me. I was so frustrated when that happened. I just wanted to take a second. I'm back. Well, before we do this one, because I'm going to spin it next, we're going to pay off what I had was, is my loss a couple of weeks ago and we have a thing for you to be able to watch. Oh, boy. All right, Daniel Dopp. Today is the day. You have to pay off the wax your leg punishment. How are we feeling? Are expectations for this punishment? Expectations are low. I am feeling nerves. I am not excited about the follicle coming out of the skin and I know that's going to happen a lot. I wasn't attempting that you be in the one who had to follow through with us. You are officially 100% not allowed in our YouTube chat anymore. I love you so much. You don't get to vote on punishments. I'm going to go get the pay I ripped out of my legs. I love you. I hope you're proud of what you've done. All right. Oh, Christina. OK. Here we go. I don't want to do this anymore, guys. All right. All right, guys. Don't 1, 2, 3. Me. Don't. It's fine. 3. Oh, my gosh. You didn't even pull it even out. You left it all in there. Why didn't it come out? Christina. Oh, no. OK. No. Oh, no. No. No. I don't want this anymore. Why did I choose fantasy football for a living? I don't want to do this. No. Get it. I'm going to be like a friggin. I don't like-- you know what, I don't love the way that you're chuckling after every time you do it right now. Is this the way they do it in like real places? Do they put them on with like stuff like this? Oh, no. You made eye contact with me and did that while I was talking to you. Oh, grimy packers. [BEEP] Oh, Christina. Oh, I didn't even tell him I said, oh, I don't like this. Do one, hey, chant. Guys, we are not worthy, guys. You want to know what an Olympian feels like? Go ahead and touch my leg right now. That's what it feels like. Dude, do you feel how soft it is? It feels like like a marble statue. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't want to. I'm basically right now like a third of Michael Phelps. Wow. That's crazy. That's crazy. That's crazy. Uncomfortable and it was probably worse than the actual punishment. It was terrible for me. It was terrible watching that was probably-- I just want to say one more time. I'm a dopp. I hope you're proud of yourself. Please. Please no more. All right. All right. Spin the wheel. Spin the wheel. Spin the wheel. Spin the wheel. Spin the wheel. They told me because they were replacing the punishments. Okay. So. First. The other option that we're doing is wax. I was like, you behold.
- No way. - You better not. - No way. - That is not an option. What else other leg doesn't account. All right, here we go. I'm gonna spin the wheel. If that happens, I'm gonna lose my mind. You guys are doing the show by yourself. - That'd be amazing. - Here we go. Three, two, one. All right. Wheel is slowing down. Eyes, here we go. It is. Here my own. (laughing) - Oh man. - I'm not sure I'm gonna survive this season, guys. - Oh, yeah. - Better start percent. - Better line up soon. - Four. - I've got the two worst punishments in this week four. - We'll talk about this. - I mean, we're gonna figure it out for a moment. This is like an editor's note here. We did have a recent conversation about whether we need to remove the beer mile. We're gonna see whether we get approval on this. - We might just have to run a mile. - You think I can't run a mile? - Nope. - I don't know about that. - Full speed. - I don't know. We'll figure it out. - Let's see something. - That is. - Oh, I forgot. That was still on there. - A beer mile, a milk mile? - We actually, we are gonna legitimately remove the wax leg, right? - Yeah, it's a place. - You guys might have to wax your legs. - That was there. I think it was a prank. - That was a prank. - That's right. - All right. Anyway, set better line up. Out of that guy's, this is terrible. All right, long shot check in really quickly, guys. I'm not excited about the starts of the week anymore. - Long shot check in, none of us got it. AJ Dillon, McQuan, Treadwell, Skymore, Colby Young. Nobody even close. - Yeah, some of those guys got decent run. Colby Young ended up further down the depth chart than we thought without Andre Ocebus. - Yeah. - I was at Dante Myers. Got the run there as the three, but yeah, Moore was busy, should be again, until Jaden reads back in that offense. McQuan, Treadwell was very busy in the Colts offense, but Derry Sling could take on a larger role, and AJ Dillon set two in Carolina right now. So we're in the right track there, but nobody's going. - Think about this graphic as kind of ice cold, because there's only one thing that matters, right? Like, did you score or not? - Yeah. - It would have been kind of nice if it was like, yeah, AJ Dillon played 42% of the snaps. Someone did, just your phone make a frog noise. - Yeah, it was R2-D2. - Oh, R2-D, that was mom adopt. Taxing me in the minister. - Oh, nice. Anyways, yeah, none of us got it right that week. That sucks. - Yeah. - What can you do? By the way, it's like zeroes and ones. Like that's Mike's literal language. It's either a work store or it doesn't. - That's exactly right. - That's exactly what it is. - Don't trust the process. It's what I often say. - We have, by the way, I've speaking of punishments, Daniel obviously is calling it from yesterday. I play it another league where we spin the wheel as well. We have a weekly punishment for the low score. There's 14 of us. So, you know, your odds of being the low score, whatever, whatever one in 14 is, friend of mine is a lawyer at like a high power attorney in Chicago and he has to wear a tuxedo to work today. So, he's been sending us pictures, hopefully. He's been sending pictures to me and he has said, I am allowed to use them on our show. So, maybe tomorrow, give a look at that. - Oh, that's amazing. - My friend Spencer's day is a lawyer in a tuxedo in Chicago. - Quick shout out to everybody, Joe Fortenbaugh, who is unfortunately no longer with us. - Whoa, don't say it that way. - In our knockout, look at who week he says it that week. - Don't do that. - He was. - That's me out. Look at that, though. Joe's a good-looking man. Sam Darnold, he was good. He got his pickens wasn't bad, but then everyone else. My name's channel fortunately got hurt. Emmanuel Wilson, Jail and Waddle, Hunter Henry and Jail and Coker. Two guys that got hurt. My name's chain actually is the player that was rostered in the most knockout leagues to be knocked out this week. - So, we also have an ESPN editorial knockout league. - Did you guys see what happened in that one? - No, I happened. - The tie. - Or by 0.02. - 0.02 was a difference. - Oh, yeah, that wasn't the, was that the editorial? No, that was the other one, I think. - Oh, sorry, that was the other one. - They're an elite league, that's why the one. - Yeah, with some, a bunch of our friends and celebrities earned and all that kind of stuff. - Yeah, it was a 53 point. - Yeah, that's right. - 53.46 was the low score. 53.48 was the second lowest score. - By the way, and both of those leagues, the knockout team had Josh Allen on the center. - Very interesting. - Oh, that's crazy. - No, they might knock to town, we need one. - Right. - Yeah, just makes to how good he can kind of keep you afloat. And he can also sink your ship. - All right, quick check in really fast. Before we dive into waivers, we got some board bets. We want to make sure we pay off. Mike and I had a board bet, but it was voided. So we're not even going to talk about this one. It was on A, Chan, yeah. - That's unfortunate. - So that one is out. - I was going to win, so I'll take. - I'll accept it. - I doubt that. - The other one. - Mike definitely got this one, right? Terry McCloren had a huge rebound. Outscores Denzel Boston, Michael Clay takes this one. - Thank you. - Shout out to you on that. - Hey, crush it. - And with that, let's dive into some priority waiver ads here in week four, my friends. Talk about a handful of guys. - Hey guys, at the running back spot. - Yeah, we have a lot of running backs to talk about. I'll be honest with you. I was working on the playbook last night and preparing to talk waivers and looking at. There's three teams that are lost. They're running back. They're going to have to talk about, right? They're very unlikely to play this week. We're definitely not going to play this week. Miami, obviously, with HM. The Jets with Breeze Hall is probably going to be out and Travis HM down with New Orleans. He's going to be out. So we have to talk about all the running back options. It wasn't fun. There's no one for one. No, there's no one for one. And this was not fun. These guys have not necessarily had a lot of work in the pros or they haven't been very good when they've gotten run off the bench. So this is kind of gross and it's going to be hard to sort through these. But we'll tell you how we anticipate it looking. - So we're going to start with the Jets. A groin injury, a thigh injury. I've heard a couple of different things here. Yeah, Breeze Hall week to week. I think you have to at least plan on him not being there. And if that's the case, the guy that we saw take over was Braille and Allen. How high up this list are you guys? Is he as a must add for you at running back? He is the number one out of all the right. He's available this week. We were talking about this pre show. Breeze Hall got hurt at 1130. - Correct, 1130 minutes and 36 seconds left. - Sorry, of course. - Quarter on Sunday. Good call, buddy. - I get it right. - That's good. And the rest of the way, the Jets ran 17 plays. Braille and Allen played all 17 of those plays. We talk about how like sometimes when quarterbacks get hurt, like how it goes the rest of the game for the back up is not reflective of how we feel. We'll go for that back up with a full week of preparation. The bear is probably a good testament to that last night. When running back, it's hurt. Like it's not unusual for the third running back on the roster to have a role anyways. And so you can just split the snaps, the rest of the way. For Isaiah Davis to play zero snaps in the last 17 was notable to me. The Jets, I think, plan on Braille and Allen being the their guy this weekend at least against the bear. So I think is a defense you can run the football against. Take one average, what, nearly five and a half yards per carry last night. So Braille and Allen will be my priority. Even if this is only a one week thing, which it sounds like there's a chance this is a one week feeling. Yeah, by the way, Allen, kind of a fun player in theory to watch. He's one of the biggest running backs in the NFL. He's like six, one, what, two, 39 lost some weight in the off season. Gets a lot of hype every year. Oh no, he's gonna eat into Bryce Breese Hall's workload. And it just hasn't happened. He hasn't really done it and he hasn't run well. He's averaging 3.7 yards per carry so far in his career. And he's been around, we'll say, I mean, he missed most last season. So it's not fair to, you know, hold that against him. But he hasn't really emerged as real, real threat. He only has two double digit fantasy games both were in 2024. So I'm curious to see him get 15, 20 touches and see what he could do with it. But so far, it hasn't happened. It makes me temper expecting when you think 15 to 20 touches. How many of them are in the rushing game? How many of them are in the, I would imagine most in the rushing. I think I say a Davis, there was, it was two years ago. Hall was the lead back for the Jets. This was a different coaching staff keep in mind. But Davis and Alan were kind of splitting the number two job back and forth. And Davis outplayed him. I mean, by the way, Davis had 64 touches last year and in his career, he's averaging 5.6 yards per carry. So he's a small player. He's a small player, yes. So I just want to, I agree with you, Alan's a priority. I'm more likely to go with him as a flex. I mean, Davis has even had a touch this year. So naturally we're going to lean toward Alan. But there's a chance that he's kind of grind in a way and Davis is the one making place. It's at least possible. So just, it makes me hesitate a little bit with how much capital I'm going to spend here. On top of the fact that we are talking about most likely splits in all of these situations where three starting running backs went down, where I was talking about three teams who, the running backs that went down weren't exactly crushing, right? Divided H&N is in a struggling Miami offense. We'll talk about Travis H&N in a struggling Saints running game. And then Breeze Hall, who very talented, but the story of Breeze Hall's fantasy career has always been like, there is plenty of upside because he's just that talented. The infrastructure isn't great around him. So Braille and Alan is my number one running back ad for this week. He will not crack my top 20 for week four running back ranks. Let's talk about Travis H&N next time. Yeah. By the way, if you don't like hearing H&N and you're getting frustrated with the H&N ETN stuff like neither of them are, none of them are playing. No, three of them are playing. There's three of them. None of them are still on. None of them are, Travis is going to be out. And of course, Devon is out for the seasons of your frustrated with that. You don't have to sweat it for this. Travis H&N, missing time with a hamstring, sounds like it could be a couple of weeks. We got Alvin Camira. We got Kendra Miller and CJ freaking Donaldson just won't go away in this back deal as well. You mean like that's not his middle name? No, no, you just, that's not a real person, right? What did I say? No, it was a joke. CJ Donaldson, that's made up. That can't be a real person. Gosh. I was like, did I call him the wrong name? I felt so bad. If Travis had ton of money and they have Kendra Miller and they saw they brought back. Why is CJ Donaldson touching the football as much as he's brought back Alvin Camira? There's no way that's a real thing. But it is. Is Alvin Camira going to be like the guy? I know you said there's no like one to one replacement. How are you guys both looking at this? I prop, if I'm, if I'm pressed to add a saints running back, I'm adding Alvin Camira. My expectations are pretty low. I was talking last week, leading into week three. Like, I don't understand this Travis H&N thing for many reasons.
Notably is that Alvin Cameras getting the opportunity and he's one of the least effective running backs in the NFL now, all-time legend, all-time Saints legend, all-time fantasy legend. Not an effective running back anymore. Could he surprise us in a game or two for sure, but I just feel like there's a chance that this saint's offense will still be good because Tyler Schuck is chucking it. And Tyler Schuck, I think, will be the goal line option for the Saints. They run multiple quarterback sneaks from the one yard line or two yard line and in with Tyler Schuck already this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they get the ball down to the one yard line. And the first thought, the first call is tap your own number here, tap your own helmet Tyler Schuck. I know it's not the same, but I feel like Ryan Tannahill used to have a large number of goal line rushing touchdowns, but I mean, maybe that was what Derek had here. Maybe that was the dog. Yeah. I agree with you. I think Cameras the priority ad here, but remember last year he was still the lead back in New Orleans. He averaged 12.8 carries and 3.7 targets per game in his 10 full games. He had one touchdown and was an average under 10 fantasy points per game. I think they're, they've been using a three headed committee so far this season. Yeah. That's not going to change without a chance. They're going to send through Miller or black entry Miller step. He didn't play. Yeah. He played. I don't know if each hand got beat up and then left a game briefly and then came back in for one more play, but Kendra Miller did not play a snap in that game until the second the last snap for HN. He went in and then Kendra came in and played like four straight plays. HN came in for one play and then he was done for the game. So I don't know exactly what happened there, but regardless, he's going to be involved. He was involved a lot once, once HN went down in that game. This is a guy that's been fine so far. He's averaged in 3.9 yards for carrying his career to your point. Donaldson's going to be involved here as well, but Cameras to be the lead. Miller involved. Donaldson's going to handle some snaps and this week they're playing Atlanta. Atlanta's been really good against our 3.1 yards for carry to the opposing running back. 4th few is fantasy point. So situation to avoid at the minimum, at the most, Cameras on the flex radar and 12 team leagues. That's it. I was just going to say can we quantify for Braille and Allen, he's a priority at an I would add him in 10 team leagues for this week or yeah, probably both. I'm probably adding 12. I would say Allen's a priority though. Yeah, I would agree. For you would add Alvin Cameras in a 10 team league as well, you would at least consider it. Yeah. I mean, there's a chance HN goes on. I are at the very least. He's probably going to miss a couple of weeks. Okay. We just we just were told miss time. That's all we were told. He's going to miss time. So then we got one other backfield and it's the Miami Dolphins when you look at this back field. Obviously, Oli Gordon was the guy 14 and a half fantasy points, the most running choice. They didn't have a choice. Literally had two running backs active. He scored more points than Devon HN did in either of his first two weeks. I have zero confidence in this offense though. Like I would not be adding a Dolphins running back in a 10 team league. I would have to be in a much deeper league. Where are you guys at on this one? I would take a foot. I was going to say I'm going to take flyers here. So this is just an end to benching. I'm not starting them this week for sure. Oli Gordon came in last year, one of the youngest running backs in the NFL. There's a lot of hype there, very intriguing prospect, but it hasn't happened so far. Yes. He was forced into work last week. Had to play. He played 82% of the snaps. Obviously HN went down early, 41 yards and 17 carries had 14 yards on three targets in the game. But he's now at 2.7 yards per carry in his career so far. It just hasn't happened yet. He did score five touchdowns last year off the bench essentially, but Jalen Wright is going to be involved. Like it's not just going to be a one man show, assuming he's healthy and ready to go this week. He'll be a factor. Where's the positive point that you're wanting? I'm not getting there. Okay. Wright did have 70 plus touches each of the last two seasons now. Every time it seemed like Gordon was going to take the two job behind HN Wright somehow took it back. So maybe he's the lead back and that's one of the dangers here prioritizing Oli Gordon. Okay. I think. But they're also facing Minnesota this week. So if you need more ammunition to not start them this week, they're allowing three point when yards per carry in the third few as fantasy points to running back. So like I said, this was grossed working through all these options here. It's not good situations. It's probably going to be all committees. They're not guys. You're usually going to want to start. But usually if you're like, there's a lead back on waivers, usually it's a fine person to put in the end of your bench, just to see what happens. This, but again, we were talking about Devon HN, one of the most talented running back on the entire NFL and he's getting lots of opportunities and being remarkably inefficient and now agreed, a much lesser player behind him. These all, it's it's simultaneously a little bit tantalizing on on waivers when it's like, wow, he's starting running back. Exactly. Right. And then you're like, I'm not sure that any of these guys are really worth it. So not a great waiver week. I actually feel like the best value on the waivers this week is court of extremers. I agree. Just really quickly, Minnesota, then Cincinnati, then a buy for the dolphins. So it's going to be, you know, three tough weeks in a row for Ali Gordon, if you do grab him. Yeah. I've Gordon. We'll do ranks tomorrow, but he is not in my top 30. Also, just because he's not playing right now, but at the running back spot, do you guys think Zack Charbonne needs to be at an hour? Would you wait another week or two until you decided to grab him? I think he's quite available. About 50% of leagues right now and 50%. Yeah. I think he's fine. I put him on my bench for sure. He's probably going to be looking at 15 plus carries at least a game. I mean, no one else is emerging. I think he absolutely should be added. Yeah. No doubt. You have a question. Alvin Camera, Zack Charbonne. I would do it this way. Here's how I would rank Ali Gordon is the way that you ranked. I would go Braille and Alan, Alvin Camera, um, Ali Gordon in terms of the backup party backs to fill in. If you need somebody right now, but if you're just sitting through, I think the most valuable rest of season player, Zack Charbonne is very 100%. That's what I was going to say. If you had Hall and H, I actually in our dynasty, like I have Hall and H and so I'm in trouble. Like I would have to prioritize Braille and Alan Camera because of your running backs. You all need them. Even Montgomery for Jamar Chase, who says, uh, yeah, I got to think about that. I mean, if I go, just say, can you send me all them, uh, tweets from the Dave and Montgomery supporters from after week one, because then that'll kind of incentivize me to make that move? Anyway, aged well. Yeah, but if not, if I don't need a running back, if I'm hell, if I made it through healthy, certainly Charbonne would be the priority. You have to imagine the second half of the season, that guy is going to be very busy. Let's talk about the quarterbacks really quickly. Marcus Mario would have looked good in his first game, filling in for Jayden Daniels. He's got to be on this list as a guy you're thinking about. I think there's really only two guys for me. It's him and Jacobi. Yeah. He has a great match up. Does Marcus Mario? There's a third name that I'll mention, but I don't feel as confident in. I talked about it a couple of days ago in a negative light. But Mario and a man, like it's, it's, we're sort of having a relative movement for these, like backup quarterbacks that enter the league with either a lot of pedigree or a lot of college production or both. Case Kingdom. Did you guys see that graphic last night during the Monday Night Football broadcast where it showed Case Kingdom played five years of college ball. He's in his 14th NFL season and he still has more career passing yards and passing touchdowns during his college career than his 14 NFL. That's wild. He was the most prolific passer in NCAA. He was a career. He was amazing. And at his time. He played one season of college football fantasy or fantasy college football. And that was my quarterback and I crushed that league. There's a one season. It's like I'm retired. Case Kingdom was the man back. He still is the man. So anyway, so we're having a kind of movement here and Marcus Mario just part of that movement. He has a totally serviceable backup quarterback. He is probably, if you were a starter somewhere between like 21 and 32, but as a backup, he's somewhere between like one and three in terms of great backups in the NFL. And my, oh, my, what a matchup he has across the pond in Indianapolis. The cults actually weren't terrible against the Texans last week. I also might be because they were throwing to like Dalton Schultz and Xavier Hutchinson. The Texans kind of a massive a passing game as it were. If you told me that Marcus Mario with his rushing upside gets to 20 this weekend, I wouldn't be surprised. I would either. Yeah. I think he was really obviously not think he was very efficient. He had three passing touchdowns and only 186 passing yards. And if you took away a little bit of that, you know, passing involvement and gave it a little bit more to his legs, which is actually more valuable for us in fantasy, I could still see him being in that, in that streaming radar for this week. Remember on a per game basis, lassies and filling in for Daniels, he was QB 12. So he's certainly a streaming option when the matchup is right last week, we said maybe avoid him against the at all, which I mean, that was not like who would have thought, but yeah, it's a cult this week. So it should be even better. Colts this week. And then the Giants next week, those are his next two matchups. Okay. The other guy I would consider would be Jacobi Brasette in part. He keeps doing it. The two week thing too. When I look at Jacobi Brasette this week, he's going to be taken on the New York Giants, they've got a bunch of guys. Unfortunately, that they're dealing with injuries through. And then the next matchup is the Detroit Lions. So if you grab Brasette, you would probably be thinking, at least I have a quarterback for a couple of weeks that I would be streaming because we know that you are probably going to play him against Detroit. He'd be in that low end QB1 radar in week five. Yeah. More on this tomorrow, but Kyler Murray, they're still available in 40% of leagues. And he gets Miami this week. Kyler is? That's insane. Yeah. So certainly a great spot for him this week to get, you know, to have kind of his breakout game, hopefully, from the fantasy perspective. Yes, he would hope that. Yes, indeed. Kenyon's the only tight end. And he looked fantastic, but I'm definitely adding him off of waivers if he is out there right now. He's like the. I was just going to say, this is why you spend late flyers on high pedigree, first round talents and just stash him there. I mean, what did I say in the offseason the last five, the last five tight ends drafted in the first round finished top 12 and much like the Jeremiah love stats. And Sadik already, I mean, he missed like the whole offseason. It's week three and he's already having, he's had two big games now. I mean, he looked awesome in this one. He looked, he looked really good and am I worried that that's the best game? We'll have all season. Yes. But again, more like sure. When we have, if this were a week with seven clear and obvious waiver ads, we would not be mentioning the name Kenyan Sadik, but he showed enough, he's talented enough. And there's enough opportunity there with Mason Taylor out in the jets being thin amongst
in general that maybe he turns in just remember you draft a tight end in the first round to be an elite tight end not to be just like a okay guy He should be featured and he's he already had a game like this He's already ninth and fantasy points per game at tight end should be rostered in every late this guy could be top five The rest of the season you also draft in real life these elite tight ends to be the greatest market inefficiency in the NFL Right now you guys I'm sure you guys have seen this you got we obviously watched the Saints and Raiders game on Sunday And the way in which Brock Bauer's was deployed was basically as a white receiver. Yeah, the splits between the amount of snaps He played this inline tight end versus split out either in the slot or all the way out wide He played like what 12% of his snaps is an inline tight end He's extension eligible after this season. I was just gonna ask you and the Raiders if they blow the tight end market away are gonna pay him like 21 22 million dollars per year. He's worth more than that. The Patriots played Romeo dobs $18 million per year this off season. Yep. Which one of those guys would you like how much of a delta in average annual value is everything since those two players right like what he's not I Would take if I'm building a passing offense I would take one of those top flight wide receivers that the the Jamar chase JSN types and already the very top of the food chain over Brock Bauer's But not by a lot. Nope, and they're gonna be much else to 20 million dollars more per year But see he's if he's listening he might hire you as is an agent. He's kind of he's got one of the best average I'll be in good hands. I don't know you're making a you're making a strong. But it really is like if you're a team that thinks This guy can be the focal point to your passing game. That's an amazing. Yeah, by the way Michael mayors are tight end Yeah, it's their top receiver my power is wide receiver. Yeah, yeah definitely let's dive into the mailbag my friends Let's do it. We got a couple people. We're gonna get some questions from first and foremost guys I asked you did anybody lose By a point or less with Debo Samuel in your lineup. We in fact had a line up Which Debo Samuel scored the 15.4 fantasy points. That's 80 receiving yards and a touchdown But didn't get the catch and they lost 111.04 to 111.26 Not getting that reception Even in half PBR you would have won that. Yes That's so frustrating. Well, you know what's amazing is like As you're yeah, if as you're going through Sunday when Debo had that 80 yard hook and ladder You're like that's amazing. This is incredible. It's just great. Like I just got 14 fantasy points out of nowhere Do you guys call it a hook and ladder hook and ladder roll hook and ladder? I say hook and ladder. Okay, it's a hook and ladder I think both are socially acceptable. Yes Because you know one player is running a hook. He is then throwing a lateral. Yes, the other player Yeah, why would it be called a ladder? I don't know but apparently they're both socially acceptable That's that's typical of English the English language right we just say stuff like you know what we're just gonna change it It's like I talked to my daughter's about that. It's just like they come home starting to say Words that like new popular words that don't make sense. I'm like that. That's not what that word means though And I'm like well, yes, it does I'm like no it doesn't that's not what that word means and they just use it that way and it's Just make me decide that's what it is. That's what you can do you can just make something mean something and all right guys That's what it is another far from Nougan here for you guys be yelling at a cloud orphan Nougan. Yeah, that's a new That's another tip for questions Bob is more aerodynamic for the beer mile now. Thank you Owen Davis. What do we do with this man? Appreciate that I'm Owen three is there still hope for me. I'm in a ten person league. Oh, they're andrick. Oh, no Real torrent Real Torrent and Rick real torrent Rick realtor. Yeah, yes, you're still hoping to stop using my clothes rankings. Just use field and eyes Can I just beat you by a hundred? I'm just going to use that all week while I can Eddie B Oh, would you drop Drake May from Marcus Mario? I want a nice segue into our next segment So let's table that question unless we have more Jade and Daniel's not going on I already might be back in a week or two so I'm gonna practice this week Yes, so Mario. This isn't even a full season question, but yeah, you're right. We'll get into May soon Game out of East wants to know would you guys pick up Keenan Allen after what he did last week? I mean end of bench fine, but I'm not moving Yeah, I just don't think you're gonna want to start him and he did this a couple times last year and was very unproductive with a huge Target share last season. It's hard for me to imagine that it's consistent in that cold's offense So I forgot a question earlier that I said like there's one more quarterback that kind of has my attention This way, yeah, even though I talked about it is Daniel Jones against the commander. Oh, okay Commanders 11 passing touchdowns allowed so far this season the problem is Daniel Jones has not passed the I test right? That's been a tough off offensively and Jonathan Taylor could easily Jonathan Taylor is like the King of Europe games remember last year when he scored that touchdown and overtime against the Falcons He had like 49 points or something. Yeah, the cold's are I'm interested to see how they progress now because Did he go toe-to-toe with the chiefs? I mean, I was at 32 32 weeks ago and then they played the Texans who got a little back on track defensively So kind of a fascinating team right there All right next segment you're gonna keep fishing or cut bait We fishing for fantasy point still in our starting lineup where we cut in the bait moving them to our bench guys You guys are to be out in the water. I'm not the love being out there on the boat. Daniel loves fishy. This is your new obsession. This is my new hobby Yeah, would rather be both okay mine my thought bubble would be would rather be doing projections Oh my cool official. I do not I haven't in a long time probably 30 years when I was a kid maybe a No way. I really don't fish. Yeah better fishing very long time only I want fishing on fishing. Did you really yeah? I went out when it was raining. Yeah. Oh my gosh. It was fantastic. I haven't gone down to the ocean yet I only do lakes and rivers. There's a lot of coves around us a lot to do with soft plastics a lot of jigging You know, we live in this water stuff. You know this area that's obviously so beautiful in so many ways including that we have great Saltwater fishing around us. There is we got some nice brackish water down towards the shore We get the saltwater and fresh water that meet and get some nice strippers up in there I know all these words you're saying. Yeah, totally. Let's dive in my friends. Are we going to keep fishing for fantasy points With Drake May or we cut and bait moving them to the bench. Yes, so let's establish the premise here You can sort of interpret fish or cut bait in a few different ways. We talked about this yesterday is it's like Fishing means you're continuing to start the player correct cut bait You can delineate between Cutting the player from your roster or just putting him on the bench and finding a serviceable option to replace that player So let's start with Drake May who's been under ten fantasy points and even to his first three games if you're looking for reasons for optimism for Drake May Let's start with the idea that like there is nowhere to go but up. That's good right On top of that the majoring schedule will eventually let up a little I wrote that down too You can decide yeah, well you guys you can decide whether the next two weeks against the bills and raiders are good opportunities for Drake May or not good opportunities for Drake may but more than anything More than anything you're talking about a player who last year nearly won the NFL MVP and was a top three fantasy courtman That is the reason why you are continuing to fish with Drake May Can I give you one more positive? Yes. He's pacing for four hundred and sixty five rushing yards He had four fifty last year. Yeah, that's a good nugget right there Is but for until he really turns it on It's a week-to-week conversation. Yeah great right like they're all hopefully Come a time where Drake May just populates in our rankings as quarterback six, quarterback three, quarterback nine And there's no questions asked right but for now it is a I have Drake May Like a Marcus Mario to versus Drake May conversation assuming Mario to start this weekend That to me is a real one and I would be starting Marcus Mario to over Drake May I know Mike's projection has that reversed but Drake too talented to Release from your roster at this point. Yeah, I'm not cut it. I'm not cutting him for my roster I'm cutting bait on him as a starter for the time being Not playing a map Buffalo this week. I don't I'm not really afraid of the bill's defense I'm just afraid of how May is playing right now. It's just not good enough So yeah, I'm looking forward to week seven. I think we got a month in here week seven I know and it's a ways away, but I understand by well he can be on the bench and you're starting another streaming quarterback Like correct They take on Chicago and week seven Prior to that, I know it's Buffalo and then lost a little Las Vegas the Jets I like honestly like those next like there's a chance that Drake gets it going over these next four games Yeah, and then they take on at Chicago who has in theory that is a defense that has had points put up against him Miami has two weeks have yeah, but we love that Miami and then green Bay and then at Detroit So having Miami and Detroit and two of the you know back to back there That's gonna be a spot where that's the time to make sure that he's wrong People are going to cut him today when they do their waiver claims are overnight Not I would scoop them up. I would add a surprise on your eyes will get thin right now. Yeah, what I'm sorry It was fat now. It's getting now. It's in a good way. Yes, the proper the proper thing. What about bonus guys Yeah, he's been really brackish, you know, I was I was thinking that what He had a surprise 24 fantasy. He started. No, you didn't do you know what brackish? What do you think brackish means? Uh, I don't know. I just decided to use it brackish. Okay. That's all right. Yeah. What does it mean? It like is it pertain to the saltiness of the water? Yes field. Oh, yeah, it's where fresh water and salt water meet And you have brackish water so you get like a bunch of species that can live in both freshwater and salt water And then kind of like co-mingle. Oh, so when Oh, Nixon, Jalen Wildell met they were not brackish. They were not Bounce off each other. They were like reverse magnet. We made it guys. Oh, we made it. Uh, this is tricky for me I'll let somebody else start because I want to hear you guys perspective. Uh, well, he's trending up He went from five points in week one to 14 and week two to 24 point one last week. So that's good I mean last week was good week three. So it's kind of good. Here's the bad thing Two Russian yards six Russian yards seven Russian yards. That's not what like bonix gave us value with this I know we got in the end zone this last week. Doesn't it feel like that's 100% protecting the ankle from last year. That's what I'm wondering. Yeah, man But you had imagined maybe he gets his feet under and then starts to run a little bit at some point. Yeah, but we need it So I agree. I was going to get to that. I agree. I mean, the passing number
is last week. We're really good. A 288 yards and three total touchdowns. And one of them was a rushing touchdown, actually. So, um, trending the right way, which gives me some confidence. I don't have them ranked as a starter this week as they're playing at San Francisco. Also, their rest of season schedule is tough. So that gives me a little pause. I wonder if he can get back into the regular every week, sort of back end QB1 status like he had last year. Um, but at the bottom line is if he, if he could start running more. And I mean, his supporting cast is better than it was past few years. And he was QB seven, both of those seasons. So there's a few things, much like Drake may they give me like we've seen it. Sporting cast is better. We know he could run. Maybe at some point he turns it on. And again, he kind of did that without the rushing this past week, which gives me some optimism. Also, it's not GameScript, but the way that this unfortunately backfield that it's been very injured, they've had to rely on potentially not having their premier guides that they have wanted. We're on to, you know, second and third string guys now. So I wouldn't I wouldn't move into my bench. I think, but I'm not cutting, I'm not cutting bone X. I don't think it's actually makes him a QB one. Just because he scored 24 fantasy points, I need to see it again before he's a two one. Yeah. Cutting bait short term as a starter, but I have confidence he'll get back into the back end QB one. So I like Drake May. I think it's very similar, but May's upside tire. I want to unsubscribe from this next one. I'll hand it for you. Should I be surprised for the Seahawks who has now fumbled in two or three games. He's been a non factoring two or three games. I think this one can be relatively quick guys. I don't think any of us are cutting him from our roster. No way. First round pick. Right. First round pick and it plays a position that's very hard to find, but you know, Ryan Price is cut bait as a starter for right now. We got to see him earn the trust back of this Seahawks staff. We got to see him go more than one game without a fumble. And we got to see when Zach Charbonne returns because while he's eligible to return as soon as week five, you know, he could potentially return in week 10. Like there's no guarantee that he is back as soon as he is eligible. So we can cut bait as a starter until further. Yeah. That was a risk with him. You draft him. You have to hope he cements a big role because Charbonne has come back at some point and he hasn't come close to that. Also, guys, he is zero carries inside the five two inside the opponent's 15 yard lines. So he's not really going to steal touchdowns either. So it's been it's been rough. I agree with you bench player right now. That's good. A jam. Oh, sorry. Do you think that there's any value in a potential by low with how bad he started that there will be value second half of the year or at this point, you're just guessing out of Charbonne unless Charbonne is rolled out for the season. I have a hard time. Yeah. Yeah. I would agree. Like Zach Charbonne is one of those guys who's far from a star, but he's so good at all the little things. It's a little bit and this sounds weird because this sounds weird because this guy just put the ball on the ground recently, but it's a little bit of like that Ramondra Stevenson thing, right? Where is Ramondra played every third down this past week for the Patriots. He started the game for the Patriots. These guys can't quit certain players to see Hawks of that way with Zach Charbonne. Jamo's up next. Do you want to do want to abstain from Jamo? Oh, I'm good with Jamo. Okay. I'm good with Jamo. I'm fishing. Ten catches. Fishing. Okay. You're still fit. I'm so, so, so, so. Yep. All right. If you told me that this is an offense, by the way, this offense has scored 30 points. You should watch the YouTube feed in case you're not. Everyone's in a while. We got some good stuff on here. That's the video of the Alligator. Everyone tries to throw a carcass of some sort. The Alligator misses it and then just falls into the line. Jamis and Williams, this is part of, unfortunately, what you get when you draft Jamis and Williams feels you already talked about this. This offense has scored 30 points in every single week this season. He is on the field non-stop. The first three weeks have not worked out. He is a guy I would buy low on. If someone was really freaking out about it because I think he is still going to get more to utilize. Just hasn't worked the three weeks. I am fishing still. You guys know how this works, by the way, right? If you're the person that cuts Jamis and Williams, you cut him and he immediately scores 20. That's the week that he does. So if somebody wants to take it upon themselves to handle the cutting, we will gladly benefit from the Jamis and Williams. Someone's got to do it for us. And I had played a league that has some rewards for big plays like 30, 40 plus yard catches, 100 plus yard games, long touchdowns, and I made Jam a little bit of a target in that league because I was like, you know, even if he has 60 catches this year, there's a chance that 12 of his 60 catches go for 40 plus yards. That's the amazing in this league. Has it worked out so far? Not yet. Keep in the faith. I agree with you. I just remember this last season around this time. You're having the same conversation. He had single digit fantasy points in four of his first got four of his first five and five of his first six last year. Wow. And then when obviously Sam Laporta got hurt, which changed things, but it's not like it was just the second half of last year. He's been over a thousand yards. Two straight seasons now. He's a big part of this line's offense. The schedule also we've talked about this. We talked about a lot in the offseason. The lines have arguably the easiest remaining schedule this season. That does not really include this week. The Panthers have actually a lot of the fewest fantasy points to receiver so far, but it looks good the rest of the year. So a lot of reason for optimism is my agree. I'm keeping the fish here. Easy schedule and the defense is awful. It feels like they're going to have to score 30 points every single week. So it's it will be hard to imagine this not happening at some point. Agreed. Cortland Sutton is next. Cortland Sutton's been disappointed for this Denver offense. He has a total of eight catches through three games. He is wide receiver 73 on this season. He's been bone next, right? This is in Cortland Sutton. He's been bone next. I got to be honest with you. I think we're fine to cut bait from your roster here. You think so? I'm not going to go. You could bench him. I think if you have somebody that you really need to add this week, you got a quarterback pinch, like I'm okay with it. This offense just has too many pieces. If we can hardly get Jalen Waddle going, am I really expecting Cortland Sutton to get going? We can we have five targets, four targets, seven targets. Yeah, much like bone next though. Obviously, same team here. He did make strides this past week. That gives me some optimism. He added 23% target share in this game. That's where he was last year. He's at 18% for this season. So it was a point forward. He had seven targets only turned into 46 yards, but also he's third at receiver with three end zone targets so far too. So he's still getting that goal. I worked. That's been a big part of his game so far this season. So I'm not I agree with you. I don't want to start him right now. He I'm going to have him down around 40 this week. So a borderline flex option, 12 teamers, but I'm not going to come from my roster just yet. I think he's too good to him. By the way, one more sorry. One more. No, no, you know, like leading into the season, all the reports were just like about how this guy is been the I need to use his term best shape of his life. So I feel like he was primed for another big season. So I think the team knows that. Like they're going to keep them involved. He's such an important part of the offense. And I know I just saw there was a lead a tweet up there that was like the quarterback loves Paparine. He had two targets last week. Like they're still trying to get it to Sutton and Waddle. I think they'll be okay. This is part of the Sean Payton experience though is sometimes the ball gets spread around to a little bit at everybody. If you were in a situation, you want to keep him. You said that you would be okay moving on. I'm just curious. Was there anybody off of the waiver wire this week that you feel like if you were in a quarterback pinch or would Kenyan Tadeek be someone that you think long term? You'd rather have given the tight end position. It's such a bad week for weight. Zack Sharman knows weird to say. I know that's why Portland Sutton. But I think quarterback pinch would be where I'm quarterback would be where it's at. Yes. Okay. I don't know what the upside for Portland Sutton will be right now because I haven't seen it. Well, he definitely is going to fall into the category of every time you think you know which week to play him. It's the wrong one. He does. And the opposite. What about Kyle Pitz? Because it's been nothing but does for him. Guys, this one is wild. She want me to read his stat lines first just so we can talk. Really? I would sure go ahead. Was is it zero? Yeah. I mean, if you were a doubter on Kyle Pitz, like even your best guess on how bad it would be was better than this. I mean, week one, one target no catches, week two, three targets, one catch for 15 yards, last week, two targets, one catch for five yards. I mean, and that was with Michael Penex back at how drag Glenda do in that game? How do we do in that game? There we go. Hellpits. Nothing. Guys, here's the big concern for me. Last year, 88% of the snaps this year, 54%. Last year, 90% rural participation this year, 66. Last year, 23% target share this year, eight percent. What? Why? Why? Why? No, it happened. Like, why is he not playing? Here's some analysis, getting all these targets. The only reason for hope is in hope. So what's your official declaration? I copied it as a starter. I mean, it's certainly droppable. I mean, we've seen him dropped in several leagues already. Yeah, definitely. He's already been dropped. Yeah, I mean, he's on waivers in our knockout league. I mean, yeah. So the reason for optimism is that at least Michael Penex, you're pretty darn good last week, you know? And maybe he doesn't totally saturate Drake London with targets this, like the rest of the season. I'm trying to make a flimsy case here. So I think at least cut bait to the bench, but I agree. And they don't have like a clear cut number two that we're seeber. Nobody worried about so. Johnson's barely a factor. No, doubt. So don't get me wrong. I think there's a chance he can get back into the top 12, top 10 conversation. But right now, is he a must roster? No, I mean, again, we're even the 10 team show league FFC league. He was on waivers all. He was on a free agent to pick up all I see. Nobody touched him. Right. I heard Sunday and no one picked him up and I hear you. So uh, and to all of obviously, they played Thursday, but no one picked him up leading into that game. So right now, he's not startable. He's borderline roster. I'm going to ask, I'm going to keep asking you guys because it's this week. I know it's a bad week. Would you rather have Kenyan Sedeek on your roster than Kyle Pets? Yeah. Yes. Yeah. It's hard to believe. It's a conversation. But if he's out there, you'd rather have, okay, I love that. Quinchon, Junkins, Mike, you've been trying to roll with this dude. I thought last week was the last week I said we had to happen in that game at home against Carolina. And it didn't happen. Six straight games now under 11 fantasy points going back to last year. He's averaging three point zero yards per carry. Has caught all nine of his targets, but only 53 yards. He hasn't found the end zone. 20 touches last week. You love that. You got to keep that guy rostered, but he only had 79 yards. And this is really concerning. This has to change or he's not going anywhere. He's not going to be startable anywhere close to startable all season. One carry inside the 10 can have it. He's a big running back. He doesn't do a ton in the passing. And he has to get touchdown opportunities if there's a potential saving
grace. It's not the old line, which has been struggling, but it is the fact that the offense has been better than we thought. It's at least competent. Maybe he can get rolling. But for now, he is a borderline RB2, probably more of a flex option, but I'm, you, I don't know. I don't know how to word this because he says fish, fish in terms of borderline, but I don't feel great about starting him. It's, this is a close one. I mean, close call. He's better than so many. Like the names we've talked about so far, you know, like that's, he's still more valuable than like Kyle Pits or Janari, well, bone next, you're like, I think to me, Quinch on Judkins is a fish. Just it may not happen the way that we hope to happen this year. There's no way that I am, if I drafted Quinch on Judkins, unless I drafted in my ass with these a game. Correct. Pretty good. Unless I, he's my RB three or four for some reason. Like I, I, I'm with you. I still got a keep fishing. Yeah. I mean, FFC. I have Gibbs, Hubbard, Jeremiah Love and Judkins and like, Judkins was supposed to be a starter for that team. Like I, he's going to be drafting, yeah, like 10 team leagues. You're going to, I mean, I got, I guess I got a little love for you, man. Lucky with that. Yeah. You want to cook for that? Those are four really good running backs. I was just reminding you that. Yeah. I know. I'm really bad by 100 fantasy points. Last one here guys. Kenny Gainwell. Part of this was around the idea that Bucky Irving might not play. Then Todd Bowles was like, Bucky Irving's not on the injury report. So if Bucky Irving's not on the injury report, here's what I would say, I'm, I am cutting bait to the bench. Yes. And the reason why I say that is, even though Bucky is not going to be on the injury report, Bucky's got a history of going down. And so I am holding on Kenny Gainwell in my bench. Yeah. Terrific insurance back. He was awesome last year. Yeah. And you know, it's wild. His snap share in Pittsburgh last year is 50%. You know what it is this year? 50. 44%. It's not far off from playing time. He's just not getting the touch. I don't like giving him the football at all. Yeah. So it doesn't make sense. It's a good football player. I wish you would be on the field more often. Guys, what's the fun show? Good. Are you okay, man? Like, you got your freaking leg wax. Yeah. Her real bad. Her real bad. I truly thought after one strip, it'd be like, okay, wrap it up. Time to go on. No, I thought it was two. And then Christina was like, oh, no, Daniel, we have a lot of these to get through. Which was very fun. Shout out to Christina. Are you guys cool? No. No, we're okay. Shout out to Q. You put together an awesome, like the video came out great. Thank you for that. Very talented video team. And Mama Dobb. Yeah. Yeah. Now I get to figure out what I get to do for the next one, guys. Thanks for hanging out with us today. Come back tomorrow.
