Tim Miller Tells MAGA the Truth on The Charlie Kirk Show

Tim Miller and Andrew Colvet engage in a spirited, fact-based debate on the Trump administration’s record, centering on its economic, immigration, and foreign policy failures. Miller argues that Trump betrayed core promises—such as securing the border, reducing costs, and avoiding war—by launching a costly war in Iraq, inflating prices through tariffs and rising interest rates, and enforcing immigration policies with severe due process violations. He highlights the detention of legal green card holders and deportations to foreign prisons, calling it a violation of American traditions. Colvet counters that border security has improved and that interior enforcement issues are exaggerated, while emphasizing that open borders and lack of sovereignty are the true root of the crisis. The discussion also touches on political corruption, economic policy, and the rise of activist networks that obstruct law enforcement, with both sides agreeing that extremism and obstruction are real but interpreting their origins differently. Despite sharp disagreements, the exchange underscores a shared commitment to open, honest political discourse, with both acknowledging the need for accountability and transparency in governance. The debate ends on a constructive note, with both parties expressing a desire to continue such dialogues in the future.

Hey, everybody, it's Tim Miller from the bulwark. I went in to the lion's den. That is the Charlie Kirk show. Yes, there's still a Charlie Kirk show a couple of guys that worked for him at the USA Blake Neff and Andrew Colvet have kept it going. It's on Real America's voice and also a podcast. I've known Andrew for a long time because he used to go to turning point USA's America Fest every year and write about it. And he was at that time kind of Charlie's PR guy. And earlier this week he was making fun of some tweet I sent and we were texting about it and I was like, let's argue about it. Let's do it. Let's hash it out. So we did. Got invited on. It's about a half hour even Blake said that the 30 minutes flew by for them. I got to tell you, I think I injected a lot of facts into the real America voice living rooms. There are a couple cases where it was like, I'm not sure you guys are following what's happening in the news. There was a lot of cope over there. And you know, it's something that I'm really trying to endeavor to do. Mike, it is what it is. Right. I think that some people are not invincible, of course, but we're seeing a frame of the mega base because there are people that were promised one thing and are getting another. And you can hear these guys on the show trying to pretend like Trump has found his promises. And I think that was really the core of the dispute in my opinion that I just outside of the border. I don't think that's true at all. And I think that hopefully some of the people viewing were kind of not a bit long. It's like, yeah, I haven't actually got what I was promised out of this administration. And I think that's the open door crack to getting people to walk away. Walk on away. Come on down. The water's warm, baby. The water's warm. Look at me. I made the transition. Better than ever. Thriving. So anyway, it'll probably blow your blood a little bit of points, but I wouldn't be sure with you if I didn't think it was good. So stick around. For my inaugural appearance on the Charlie Kirk show. All right, without further ado, we have a really fun segment, a couple segments here for the rest of this hour, Tim Miller, host of the Bullwork podcast and author of why we did it. Tim, welcome to the show. It's good to have you. Hey, Andrew, thanks for hosting me, man, and everybody here. I just, as you said, we're going to disagree a lot. So I just do want to say it. Top, like you said, I went to Ampest every year for, I don't know, like four years. And you guys always really welcomed me and Charlie was always nice. I never got to debate them. I think you were blocking that. We kind of wanted to do that. So I wish I would have had the chance to do that. But, I mean, I was just horrified last year. And I was then doubly horrified by Pino U spread conspiracy theories about it or that cheered it on. And I find that any of that despicable. And I'm grateful that you guys are having me on. Because that's what it's about. Like we can have open debate. We can disagree. I disagree to Charlie a lot. We're going to disagree a lot. But, yeah, well, that's one place of agreement. Yeah. No, for sure. And I know that about you, Tim. And you were very kind in the aftermath. And I knew it was heartfelt. And I knew you, I knew you meant it. And, and from there, you know, we're all humans. We can disagree. You have some of the worst ideas and takes I've ever seen. Like on the entire internet. I'm always just like do it. Usually I text you behind the scenes. You're like, what are you talking about? Like what on or where are you getting this stuff from? So like, why don't you just introduce yourself really quickly, briefly. You used to be a Republican. You used to work in Republican politics. You were consultant. You wrote a whole memoir. Kind of, you know, may a culpa. I was contributing to some toxicity in the country. So explain, explain your, your, your path here. Yeah. Look, I work. I came up in Republican politics as a communications guy, a press secretary. I worked traditionally for the more moderate candidates. You know, so we didn't have a lot of W's. I worked for John McCain in '08. Romney and 12 at the RNC side and then Jeb exclamation point in 16 with some with some with some winning races in the middle of that, you know, in the midterm years. But I look, I always saw myself as kind of a moderate squishy Republican. When Trump came down the escalator, I think as a political matter, I obviously miss judge his strength, but I think that I accurately judged his character. Unlike what he was arguing for the country, I don't like what his view of America is. I think he has a very dark view of America that's fundamentally at odds to what Reagan argued for the fact that we were a shining city on a hill and that this was, you know, a welcoming country. And so I flipped and I think that my critiques of the Trump party have borne themselves out. We can, we can hash that out. I went through a period of the wilderness and now I have a daily podcast for competitors. I think I'm beating in the charts right. I think you are. I think you are. You're doing great. Honestly, your show blew the most surprising development of your career is how successful your podcast has been. I will give you, I will concede that point. Blake had had a point. Well, I guess you're saying you believe your critiques have been born out. And I think I'm sorry. I'm going to get very combative here. We're six days out from midterm. I think you ran representing, for example, Jeb Bush. I was just looking up how Jeb Bush reacted to Donald Trump's rhetoric on immigration on securing the border. And what Jeb Bush said is that Donald Trump's plan was unrealistic. We are here 10 years later and we have actually have a secured border, which was never secured under Jeb's brother. It was never secured under Obama. It was willfully open to an incredibly malignant degree under Joe Biden. We now have a secure border. How does that represent a bad trajectory for the GOP that we actually have people who are illegal visa overstays being arrested and deported from the country like a lot of people, including Jeb Bush promise to do. It is now actually happening. And I just feel like we've seen that a lot with Donald Trump and you may dislike his rhetoric a lot. We dislike his rhetoric a lot sometimes like the Rob Reiner post. But it strikes me that we talked about this a couple of weeks ago. This is an administration that more than any other we have seen actually seems hyper focused on delivering promises that were fake promises from the GOP for a very long time. Well, I just grew a lot more about Trump than his rhetoric. I could have screwed this action. So I guess we'll just start right there. I just want to put the border aside. I'm going to come back to it. I think there are a bunch of other issues where he's betrayed you guys and he's betrayed his promises in the base. I don't agree with that. I mean, he's he started a war of choice that is making us less prepared in the world from a military perspective. It is costing us a lot of money. It has cost us lives and it's making things more expensive for people at home. So he's betrayed his promise when it comes to lowering cost of people. He's betrayed his promise about not getting us into dumb wars in the Middle East. And he's also really betrayed his promise to an unimaginable degree about draining the swamp. He's running the most corrupt presidency that we've had an American history by a wide margin. So we can discuss any of those things if you want. On the immigration side of things, look, he has secured the border. And I acknowledge that. And I think that that is probably the one thing from this administration that he could point to as a success. But unfortunately, it's come with some extremely anti-American actions that I that I think speak to what Jeb's critique was that it is unrealistic to do what he said to do unless you want to act in a way that is contrary to the rule of law and the way that we do things in this country. I mean, he has massed agents in the street shooting people down. We don't even get to see. Hold on. Let's push back on that. We have massed agents in our streets, like it's East Germany right now. We can't even see the face. Well, do you realize we don't get to know who they are? Well, hold on. There is a whole doxing campaign on the radical left to target the ice agent or stand families. But I've been doxed. You've been doxed. We're showing our faces. I'm sorry. If you work public figures. I'm not knocking on doors of illegal aliens or trying to pay them. If they're paid for by me, if the government, if government is paid for by me, I get to know what they're doing. And that's why I get to fool you their information. I don't think the administration is hiding. I get to know what their business dealings are. Yes, they're government. We pay for the whiteness protection program. Should we abolish that? No more whiteness protection program. I mean, look, obviously that there are exceptions. That's different than having a whole campaign where people don't show their faces. No, I see agents are showing their face. I think that's bad. I also think that we are detaining not just piece of overstairs. We have people in a detention center right now that were legal green card holders. We stripped their their visa. There's a young man in Delhi detention center right now in Texas. His grandma was, I guess, one of the Iranian hostage takers. He was here legally. He did everything right. He was a green card holder. Rubio stripped his green card and he's been in there for 200 days. We are detaining people indefinitely without due process in this country. So I think the way that they've handled the interior enforcement of immigration has been abhorrent and against the American tradition. Was it against American tradition? Was it against American tradition for us to have a de facto open border for us to accept obvious lies from people seeking asylum? Was it it's part of the American tradition to just essentially ignore a huge number of laws? Isn't it ignoring America's laws to have sanctuary cities and just to Willie Nile basically say you're allowed to break the law to come here? I feel like that is a far greater violation of our traditions. I don't know. Well, I don't know. I think the agents of the state murdering American citizens in the streets is a bigger front and taking green card holders. Hold on. Are you talking about now? Are you ready and Renee good? Is that what you're referring to? Okay. Yes. I mean, in both of those instances, I mean, listen, here's what's going to happen. We quibble about, did the agents perform their duties exactly right? But in both of those instances, there was obstructionism happening, willful obstructionism, they were trained, they were part of an activist network. We're quibbling. So my point here is though, if you, if I, listen, I don't want anybody to die. I don't want anybody to die. And if you don't want, if you don't want to put your lives on the line and go obstruct law enforcement when they're carrying out lawful actions to do exactly what we voted for, which is to get a legal's out of this country, then you're putting your life on the line when you do that. Yeah. You're putting your life on the line. And by the way, all of the air cover that the media gives these people is part of the problem because you're encouraging the, you're calling them a Gestapo, you're calling them Nazis, you're calling them all these, you're dehumanizing them. And guess what happens? A bunch of crazy people go and try and put their bodies on the line or ram them with their cars. And bad things are going to happen. So putting that all on ice, putting that all on federal law, nobody wants it to renaig good to die more than the left. I think that's very obvious. They have made plans. They put, no, that is not an insane thing to say. They directly encourage these people with their DLS tactics. They want them to get right in the face of police because they know that will create the friction that can cause a scandal where there's going to be a mistaken shooting. Someone tries to get some people were rooting for that 100% they are. They 100% are and they were enthusiastic when it happened. Just like they're enthusiastic. Oh my God. Yeah, that is 100% OK. So I think you're projecting a lot of evil things into people's brains that aren't true. But you think I want them to get shot? I don't want people to get shot. I don't want people to get shot by legals regretting the country that they got shot. What? You seem perfectly fine with the fact that they got murdered. I am not fine with the fact that they got shot. But what I am saying is that they are positively causing such things. They are inevitably going to cause such things. When you encourage people not to protest ice, you want to protest ice, that's fine. What they do is they actively get in the face of ice. They actively follow and harass ice agents. They actively try to block execution on the street for ice agents. They are trying to hinder law enforcement efforts. And when you hinder law enforcement efforts when they are trying to enforce the law, you are injecting unnecessary friction. Police, they are scared. They're worried that people will pull guns on them, worried that they'll use violence on them, which is how other ice shootings have happened. And they fear these things. That creates friction where somebody can die. I don't want people to die. And the best way to not die is to not interrupt and harass and bother police doing their job. Okay. I mean, Alex, we're not going to agree on this. Alex Freddie was on the ground and he was shot in the back of the head by a person in a mask. So that's just what happened. I don't think that officer just said I want to execute this guy and domed him. I don't know. I think that's what he did. I'm just telling you what's happened. I don't know. So Tim, how about this? Will you acknowledge that there are actual activist networks that train people how to obstruct ice? That there are these these stalker groups that go out and they they I they locate ice trucks or vehicles in their community. They stalk them. There's been ramings. There has been like I said doxing so these people are under threat to Blake's point. They are feeling very under threat. Man, the people that are under threat. I'm sorry. If you want a threat, we have to we took legal asylum holders based on their tattoos and we set them to a foreign gulac for un with with no due process for unlimited detention. That is what we did. We took a gay hairdresser, a guy that was a volunteer and an autism awareness fundraiser because they were here fleeing communism. They came to the land of milk and honey and we went and we had masked guys go into their homes, take them, shackle them, send them to a foreign prison with no due process for unlimited detention. Those people were at threat and if there were people in the community that wanted to go out there and try to protect them from that threat, I'm okay with it. That's where we are. We're going to agree on what's happening at the border. We totally disagree on what is happening with interior detention. Here's the interior. When you let in, when you let in whatever the number, were you okay with sending people to a foreign prison based on their tattoos? Without due process? I don't know. I can't even confirm. I'm sorry. Do you guys not read the news? You know, C.Cott, we had an El Salvador foreign prison, there's a 60 minute story. I've been sent to people back to their home countries. The biggest obstacle. No, we were sending them to El Salvador to a foreign to a foreign gulac based on that. To us sending people back to their home countries is that their home countries get in the way of it happening. And you know what, if their home country is not going to accept that we should take a guy that did nothing, there's going to be your thing that's talking to people based on their tattoos and sending them to foreign prisons and that's what are the tattoos? Are they MS 13 tattoos? No, they weren't. Guys, watch the watch the 60 minutes report, watch the news, like the guy claimed to be gay while having a wife and kids, that's 60 minutes report. No, no, no, no, no, we're talking about our next check. You were making fun of that on X. I just checked. You were saying the calling 60 minutes faken gay, which apparently his literal report says here in the deep. I thought that's why he got asylum here. I thought I was wearing a kid. I thought it was weird. The government tweeted out calling somebody fake and get, I thought that's a weird thing for the government to do. Okay. I think it's weird for our government to give asylum to people who claim their gay and have heterosexual families. I think that's weird. I think that's a lot more offensive to me than I'm using the word gay in a tweet. Guys, I think it's telling that you just really want to spend the time focused on this and you ignored all of the other failings of the Trump administration that I started with. I asked about the border and then you answered with other stuff. I asked about the border. I'm saying, but we're now, we've not been here 15 minutes. We talk about the Iran war that he started as a war of choice and that has caused massive damage to our standing in the world and increased costs for people at home. Why don't we talk about the corruption? The fact that his kids are getting hundreds of millions of dollars, like making the types of money that Hunter Biden could only dream of from like Kazakhstan and from the UAE and from crypto coins. We can talk about why there's a bunch of other issues we can be talking about. Let's just wrap up this topic because I do think it's important. I think ultimately when you let in millions of people through the border that are illegals that shouldn't be here, mass chaos, all of this, fixing that problem is very challenging. My problem with the left is that they tend to pick these story here or story here. We're dealing with hundreds of thousands of these, okay? You're not going to get everything precisely right and demanding 100% perfect, you know, pure as the driven snow just a dramatic force on the right law. This is messy business, getting people out of your country, but the problem started because ultimately the left wants open borders. They don't believe in sovereignty and that is that is my larger issue here. So I think listen, I think we can move on if you want. But that is ultimately dynamic here. We're fixing a problem that was started, that was so massive. And so I think diabolical and really damaging to the country that it's, listen, it's going in the right direction. I think the people on our side are very happy with it. All right. So you want to go to the next topic, is this the floor is yours? Which one of your topics? I guess I guess we went through the list of Donald Trump betrayals and I think that he basically ran, you know, we can agree that the border was one of the things. But the other main issue is that he was running on, we're making things more affordable for Americans, not getting us into stupid wars, not having, you know, you know, I don't know about affordability. I'm draining the swamp. Let's talk about affordability. That's been a disaster. So all that has been just an utter disaster, you realize it under Joe Biden, you realize under Joe Biden that the, the per capita earning went down $3,000 per family, $3,000. And had thing and under Joe Biden went up and it went up another like 900 before the around war started granted it, but that is, the wages rising faster than inflation is the way you fix affordability. Yeah. The economy was getting better at the end of the Joe Biden administration and was getting better at the beginning of the Trump administration. So all I hear is, all I hear about solutions from the left is, oh, we're going to make things more affordable. Trump has made it not affordable. What are the, what are their ideas to make things affordable? Well, the main idea is stopping all the stupid stuff he did because if Donald Trump had said nothing except for golfed and built the ballroom when he got in there and just hung out and tweeted, the interest rates would be way lower. Costs would be lower for everybody in the economy doing better. He did, he had two massive self-inflicted wins by creating an insane, you know, top down run tariff regime based on his personal wins and then starting a war of choice in Iran that nobody wanted that has no end in sight. The result of those two decisions has been massive increase in interest rates, massive increase in gas prices, massive increase in food prices for Americans. So like the first thing we could do is repeal the stupid tariffs and block his ability to do tariffs at whim because the Congress should be in charge of taxation as the Constitution says. And then we should stop the war in Iran. And unfortunately, we'll end up in a worse situation than we were before he started it. But at this point, they've made a horrible bed and the only thing to do is to try to get a deal that would help open up the two straits, both in hormones and ballabab. The Democrats could do nothing else except those two things and that would be a huge help to affordability. Do you think there are other things they could do as well? I'm a little, I'm kind of, you said he ran on this promise of no wars. We actually, we looked at Trump's list of 20 promises that he ran on in 2020 and actually no wars is not one of them. He does say he's going to restore peace in the Middle East and in Iraq and we were frank, we were grading each promise and we said, this was not a kept promise, yet nonetheless. No new wars is not a promise that What I would add what I would add is we look at all of the other promises And I think if you were to compare them to a list of Joe Biden promises or George W. Bush promises or frankly even Trump promises in his first term I think again This is an aggressive promise keeping administration another one that I think a lot of people are very happy about He made a promise no other prior Republican would make or at least not keep if they made it Which is we're going to roll back DEI see or to you. We're going to stop Discriminating against Americans based on their skin color You were you were complaining that it was discriminatory. We're arresting people based on tattoos But it was the norm for decades in this country for us to allow Like Andrews children any children. I would have my sisters who have children that they can be as discriminated against based on their skin color And I just think you're mad about Donald Trump on the swamp. The whole idea of all this was that it would accrue to the benefit of the American people and that Americans lives would be better Americans lives are worse because interest rates are skyrocketing gas and oil prices are up And meanwhile him and his family is getting richer and richer and he started a stupid war that's going to have my life is better My life is better because the government doesn't say I'm a second-class citizen based on my skin color I think that matters a lot for my way of life. I think that matters a great deal And I think you're being hugely dismissive of something that Tens of millions of people were victorized by there's not like a bunch of white guys that are doing better now than they were before They're doing worse manufacturing jobs are down costs are up I you guys haven't grappled with the fact that like this whole idea was that Trump was going to be like an attack on the deep state An attack on the socialist left that's making everybody's lives worse. And the reality is is he's running as like a kind of tin pot socialist dictator With a state-run economy where he gets to bully companies and help out his friends and help out the oligarchs He has the aesthetics of a socialist we have we have like dear leader Pictures all over Washington DC. He's now bribing voters like he's a socialist like he's running as like a right wing National a socialist and nobody's lives are better. Everybody's costs are more. Let's go. Let's go You guys don't have a clear message for how to fix that. How to make things better for people You know, he has the aesthetics of a socialist. You're complaining. Yeah, you're you're in support of the side that has actual Socialists who will do socialism who will do rent control. I'm sorry. You guys destroy Tesla because it's bad You guys are doing socialism right now. I've never this is the most socialist administration we've had since FDR A Donald Trump has a state-run economy. He's taken stakes in businesses. He's controlling The means of production in Venezuela and stealing their resources and bringing it to us. He's bribing offing voters of $5,000 brib He's friends with all of the socialist dictators all over the world like the only part of socialism the Donald Trump doesn't like is Socialist health care so people can have access to free health care like that's the only part of socialism the Donald Trump doesn't like He's doing everything else, but he's just doing a right. He's running a right wing soft authoritarian national socialist administration that's making People's lives worse like that's what this administration is. Let's let me let me address some of the things you talked about with the wars because that's where this started So the Ukraine war actually people now know this is the price of diesel for example That is a direct result of what's happening in Ukraine right because Ukraine's going up. No, they're droning the Russian refineries Yeah, the diesel started growing up right when we started the hour on war. So which party likes to shut down refineries Well, look here's the thing Andrew like that would have been a really compelling argument if Trump had done what he had promised like you guys said and We're gonna do is liquid gold. We're gonna do we're gonna do more production here. We are that we're not gonna get involved in the world And that question who wants to shut down refineries? Well, I mean, I think there's some Democrats and some states to do other Democrats that don't it's a mix in the Democratic Party But what we've seen now is from the last two Republican administrations. So they've created oil shocks so for the global oil So it's a really good party. You can't even get an honorary answer of Democrats want to shut down refineries Well, not all Democrats do like it. What states actually wage war? It's on fossil fuels. It's a mix. There's really it's really a lot of code. It's really rich for the party. The Senate candidate James Telleriko Mary Peltola Roy Cooper These are the Senate candidates none of them are trying to shut down refineries. They all want to know that you know that's crap because we've like Do you think any Democrat? Do you think any Democrat is going to derail a Democratic administration if they attack fossil fuels? Like during the Biden administration we were producing more oil and natural gas than we ever had in the history of the country Like what are you guys talking about? Gas prices were coming down like gas prices were going to be as low as they'd been when we did the handoff to Donald Trump in ages because we were pretty oil natural gas here and the Joe Biden Didn't Joe Biden deliberately drain the strategic petroleum reserve so he could get like a 10 second You know mitigation of gas prices going into the midterms But on top of that I recall in 2020 To want Trump wanted to fill the strategic petroleum reserve while oil was free due to a freak historical circumstance oil was literally basically Zero dollars due to the shock of COVID and it was blocked by Democrats because they didn't want a bailout of big oil I think man Trump you can endlessly Or a gas station I'm going to endlessly nitpick some things I'll say coil do it like you here's got a Back to pre-war levels. They're actually above pre-war levels those ships are going to take a little while to get into port and then get refined The issue is is that the temperature and some of these ships is going to be massive forever We don't need to fuss over Iran. This is a bigger question. You can. I want a hundred percent can see oil prices went up gas prices went up because of the Iran war. I didn't like the Iran I don't like the Iran war A shock created by a conflict and the systematic hatred of fossil fuels and of oil as an industry as a As a hydrocarbon that exists on the left and it's not I just find out you acknowledge that It's not just a shock that like lasted two weeks and it went back down It's been going on all year now He says it's going to escalate the war up to the midterms regular people are like really suffering right now by the By the price there wasn't just some random energy shop So to hear them say that they're going to be the ones to fix they're going to fix the oil problem or the energy price problem Is just ridiculous and we both know that price is wind farm they want solar fields they want everything sustainable They don't want you know want by the way the Trump administration is in a great job of permitting easing up on permitting requests opening up new energy sources so The two parties are light years apart on this issue. Yeah, they are because the Republican party is the only one that is twice Caused massive energy shocks that has created a huge problem for people. This is happens every time the 9% of creation right which is actually why people feel the affordability issue in first. I mean And it's going back up and interest rates are now but we we're talking about it I get to sound like a Republican we talk about interest rates We haven't even talked about interest rates anymore. They're back at the highest. They've been in decades Because in addition to all the stuff we've been talking about the another socialist thing that don't Trump likes to do is run up massive deficits Like we're running at the biggest deficit we've run and forever Interest rates are high because we have not controlled our government spending and we also have huge risks that he's instituted that he's added to the economic system Because we have reckless revenues and yeah, we need to cut. I'm a huge balance budget hawk. I am so getting any of those done in Washington You think the Democrats are going to let us bounce budget or do you think they want a Medicare for all which is going to cost 70 trillion dollars over the next 10 years Come on, I think there's probably a way to do it. If you had actually cut anything to balance the budget I think you be attacking him over it. Oh, on the show that you are the health care cuts of those the covid Subsidies that were supposed to expire. Well, they cut that and well he was just showing that they were attacking him for that Well, if you did stupid cuts like for example, but he made a stupid those were those were covid Subsidies that were supposed to expire they let them expire and now it's an attack line from the left Well, I mean, that's another betrayal very I'm not mostly hurt mega voters But I'm talking about the doge cuts like the doge program was honestly one of the stupidest things I've ever seen in my life So you ended up cutting massive parts of the government some people that maybe she probably should have been fired other people that were doing very important things research You know things that like that that are services for Americans and he did it in such a haphazard way That we end up actually spending more because a lot of those people are still getting paid They sued the government because they did it in a legal manner. We have the lowest we have the lowest federal employment We've had since 1966. I think that we're still paying and Okay, eventually we'll stop because they're not in place and do something right? So he was the option just to leave the permanent bureaucracy permanently there Yeah, the same answer we got our immigration, which is you I feel like You are doing nothing because the act of doing something carries with the burden that someone might mess something up Yeah, did we find some people incorrectly? Yeah, okay, guess what I think is a bigger mistake never firing anybody ever And I say like that here's what you prefer to have because you would rather to know No, that's right. No, here's something you've packed me on it. We can have another agreement just like we had at the top do it this administration doing nothing would have been a massive improvement, massive improvement and like any like minor progress that they've had across a few issues has been totally swanced by the idiocy of the tariffs of the wrong order. I mean I can defend tariffs. I love to say I love tariffs and getting rid of USAID was a huge huge win and tariffs we need to onshore manufacture we need to make our own vitamin C we need to make our own military equipment you have to bring manufacturing back to the country you have to onshore things and by the way tariffs have been used to get peace in many parts of the country it's been used by the way reciprocal tariffs the EU was tariff in the hell out of us. We have to we were suckers for years. There's one part of the tariff thing I'd love to get your answer to Andrew because it's the great deal. And we have to go to America. I actually have I have to wrap it up but go ahead. I will say I'm sorry yeah anyway I'm just going to say look the idea that he put a legal tariffs in then the Supreme Court said they were illegal and then he bullied companies to not getting the rebates back. I mean like if a Democrat had done that if Obama had put an illegal tax in and then bullied corporations and said sorry I'm not going to give you your money back that I illegally stole from you. You guys are literally on fire. It's just another example of socialist arbitration socialism. They shouldn't have they shouldn't have backdated and forced any of that to be paid back. It should have been forward looking. It was actually I'm just gonna fix it. It's better for the administration to do nothing. I'm basically I'll basically ignore whatever personal conduct from Trump because everyone's going to have issues with large parts of it. What I fix focus on and fixate on what I focus on and fixate on is changes that happened under this administration that would have never happened under any other Democrat certainly would have never happened under Republicans like the one that you ran under which is get rid of systemic racial discrimination in the U.S. Actually secure the border actually deport people that stuff that happened under this administration no one else would do. I think they are transcendent to accomplishments. Tim, Tim, thank you. I was going to say this has been great. Honestly listen you're good sport. Thank you for having the debate. I'd love to do it again sometime soon. So please please consider coming back. Appreciate the invite. Yeah, man. All right. Be well. Tim Miller from The Bowl Work, that was fun.
