This right here is a bombshell scandal. And any member of the Trump administration who was part of it or knew about it should be held accountable immediately. I'm talking subpoenas and testifying in front of Congress on day one of Democrats taking back the House and the Senate, fingers crossed that happens. This is ugly stuff. And I think the American people should know about it, especially because JD Vance, the man at the center of this story wants to be president in 2028. He wants to win that election. And this is a big stain on his legacy that people should know about. So we're going to talk about this and more everything going on here. Bombshell leak reveals Vance kept Trump's ugly war reality under wraps. JD Vance knew the truth about the Iran war. He knew how it was going. He knew how the United States was losing munitions. We were losing troops. People were being injured and he kept quiet. Matter of fact, he went out in the media and promoted the war. Yes, it's that serious. Check this out. JD Vance hid from the public his in-depth knowledge of how Donald Trump's war on Iran is really going. Vance had personally called US military commanders over the spring and summer for their individual perspectives on the Iran war and received grave assessments according to the New York Times. Multiple current and former officials told the Times that Vance was deeply worried about munitions shortages and broader strategic concerns following his talks with the commanders. Meanwhile, he and Trump repeatedly assured the public that the war was already won. How many times have we heard JD Vance and Donald Trump say that we've won? How many times have they said that the war is almost over? And behind the scenes, they've known about this. They've known that our own commanders are saying, it's not going well. Commanders had told the Vice President that stockpiles of critical munitions, such as Patriot Interceptors, critical for defending against missile strikes, which have killed our troops, were the lowest they'd ever seen. Which means that JD Vance knew that we were incredibly vulnerable, that our troops were vulnerable. And he was still out there saying everything's great. He was still out there promoting the war as was Donald Trump. It is sickening stuff. Trump and several top officials, including defense secretary Pete Hegseth and secretary of state Marco Rubio, were aware of Vance's calls to the top military leaders. The Daily Beast has reached out to the Pentagon and the office of the Vice President for comment. And so far, nobody has spoken on the story. Vance, who served four years in the Marine Corps during the Iraq War, was opposed to the war before it even started arguing against the military operation during meetings with Trump. However, the Vice President has not voiced his frustrations openly. Instead, defending Trump's decision vigorously during public appearances, which we've all seen. He's gone to bat with journalists and called them liberal hacks for questioning the war and questioning Donald Trump's decision making. And yet, he knows the truth. He called them himself and asked about the war and asked how it was going. And now we're learning that JD Vance is actually warning Donald Trump behind the scenes that the war could stretch the entire second term. There is belief among the highest ranking military officials in Trump's administration, in our military, in our Pentagon, that this war is not ending anytime soon, as Donald Trump continues to claim, but could extend his entire presidency. Check this out, and JD Vance is part of it. Top White House advisors have raised privately with Donald Trump the prospect that the Iran war could drag on through the remainder of his term, a message at odds with Trump's public assurances of a swift victory, or sometimes a victory that's already happened. In the Oval Office and Situation Room, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Mark Rubio, and others, notice how Pete Higgs, that's not a part of that, have discussed with the president that Tehran could continue to resist US pressure under the blockade and other military tactics, potentially extending the conflict past inauguration day in 2029. The closed-door discussions come as Trump told reporters on Wednesday that the war is going to end immediately, or at least after the midterm election. A year's long conflict with strain military resources and risk long-term disruptions to global oil markets in the midst of a US presidential election, Vance and Rubio are both wanting to run for that role, according to reports at least. Trump, who has returned to power, vowing not to start forever wars, has said he's not worried about the political headwinds, but of course, according to reports as well. We know that's not true. Trump often speaks privately with AIDS of his desire for a quick resolution to the war, which is in its seventh month after he said, it's only gonna be six weeks and killed 18 service members, but Trump also supports a long-term economic siege, using a naval blockade and sanction. So it doesn't sound like the war is actually going to end anytime soon, and that Donald Trump has any real desire to do that. They say that the White House says, Donald Trump has destroyed Iran's military capabilities and is crippling what's left of its abysmal economy, which is just not true. There are military capabilities have not been crippled because they're still firing missiles at us. They're still firing missiles at the ships in the straight of four moves. The private acknowledgement by top AIDS that the military conflict could drag on for years cuts against what Donald Trump has been saying recently. Quote, "It would be irresponsible for us to write out our strategy "and our timeline for an Iranian nation "that simply cannot honor its commitments," Vance told reporters when he was asked what the timeline was. Iran has lashed out at U.S.-led pressure campaigns with missile strikes and protests, suggesting periodic military skirmishes in the straight of four moves will be difficult to avoid. The U.S. on Tuesday destroyed five Iranian tankers after Tehran targeted several U.S. military ships, and here's the catch. Pete Hegseth has already extended some Middle East troop deployments into 2027. Does that sound like the war is ending anytime soon? The Pentagon has planned to extend the deployment of some air defense units in the Middle East with no firm end date. A third Marine Expeditionary unit is preparing to deploy to the region this fall. Does any of this sound like the war is going to end anytime soon? Does any of this sound like we have a decisive victory? It does not. And JD Vance knows that Donald Trump knows that they all know that. And yet JD Vance has been in public saying stuff like this. Quote, "Number one gas is going down. Iran will never have a nuclear weapon and every single one of you will be safer. He's framing this as a win, but he knows it's not true." Watch this. Here's the other thing that we've done. We haven't just cut your taxes. We haven't just seen record job creation over the past couple of months. And of course, we know that because we had to take care of business over there in the Middle East, we've seen a little increase in gas prices. Notice how that's already coming back down. 50 cents down on the dollar just in the last couple of weeks. So what did the President say? The President said we're going to go take care of businesses. We're going to go take care of business. Gas prices are going to come up a little bit. But when we take care of business, you know what's going to happen? Number one, gas prices are going to come down. Number two, Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. And number three, every single one of you will be safer. [APPLAUSE] Except he knows that's not true. Let me ask you, JD Vance, how are Americans in the Middle East safer right now? Because you know the truth. You know that our missiles that are used to defend our troops are the lowest they've ever seen according to these military generals. So you're saying, we're all safer. How are they safer? The people who are putting their lives on the line for this country for our freedoms, for our rights. How are they safer? They're not. And JD Vance knows it. JD Vance knows it. They cannot pretend to care about our troops. JD Vance has also been reacting in June. That was to the completion of the US-Iran peace deal calling it a big win. What happened to that deal? Oh, that's right. It was flimsy. It was terrible, and it lasted for what, five minutes. And then it got imploded. And of course, in the midst of all this news, clips are resurfacing of JD Vance back in 2024, where he said explicitly on a podcast with Tim Dillon and a comedian and podcaster that it is against America's interest to go to war with Iran. And now fast forward to 2026, he's saying that Donald Trump took care of business. It's a great thing. We're all safe for it. Just seems like some contradictions. And obviously, things are not going to plan in the Middle East, despite JD Vance saying we have this three-pronged victory, despite Donald Trump saying there's going to be an immediate end to the war. Matter of fact, things have only gotten worse in the past couple of days. You have these headlines coming from the associated press. Saudi Arabia has shut down a major pipeline as the Houthis sees an island opening a new front in the war. Yes, the Houthis are gaining power. They are gaining land. They are achieving control of the entire border on the Red Sea, which is crucial for shipping. And JD Vance is out there saying the things are great. This doesn't sound great to me at all. And the thing that is really disturbing and could lead to an extension of the Iran War for the entirety of Donald Trump's second term is the fact that Iran is finding that escalation is actually quite beneficial for them when it comes to fighting the United States. Check this out. This is a reporting from the New York Times. The routes to export oil out of the Middle East are diminishing. The price of energy is soaring. And Iran's neighbors could be about to endorse some measure of its authority over these straight of war mues, that being the Houthis in Yemen. In the past week, Iran and its allies have used military escalation to upend any minimal sense of stability in the region most dramatically in Yemen. That is shifting the momentum in Iran's war with the United States to its advantage. This shift may not be decisive. The Islamic Republic remains under immense economic pressure with the ongoing US naval blockade of its southern ports and escalating rounds of sanctions cutting it off from the world, and yet a series of attacks in recent days by Iran and its allies have expanded the scope of the conflict. That analyst said may have given Tehran greater leverage at least at this moment. The Iranian-allied Houthis of Yemen captured a Red Sea Island on Friday, giving they may purge to disrupt shipping in another critical waterway for shipping oil out of the Middle East. This is what Gregory Brue, a senior analyst at Eurasia Group, he said, quote, The Houthi's success in Yemen has swung the pendulum back in Iran's favor. Reality of this conflict is that the United States is more powerful than Iran by literally every metric. Economically, militarily, you name it, we are better than Iran. So Donald Trump started this war with an advantage in every aspect of the war. And yet he has blown it. Iran does have the pendulum swinging toward them. They do have the momentum in this war because we have an idiot in the Oval Office who doesn't know what he's doing. He couldn't point to Iran on a map. He has no idea what's going on. And so Iran, while of course we as Americans oppose Iran and what they're doing, they are a theocratic nation who injures and kills their own people. They attack women for not wearing religious wear and covering up their body and things like that. We know the many documented human rights abuses in Iran. And that's something that every American can stand against. And yet Donald Trump is losing the war to Iran. It is an embarrassing thing for the United States, really. And also for JD Vance, let's not forget that this is not his first cover up. This is a pattern of behavior with this administration because remember that big Oval Office meeting that JD Vance and Susie Wiles and other high ranking members of the Trump administration had in the situation room to talk about the Epstein files? Yeah, that still happened. They were talking about the best way to get the media to stop talking about it, to move on from the situation to deal with the PR crisis. They were using the situation room to talk about that. And JD Vance was intimately involved in those conversations. So when we're thinking about 2028, when Americans are thinking what's next for this country after the insanity that we have experienced or still experiencing, JD Vance should never be part of that conversation. Every day, there's a disqualifying story about him, about Trump, about Marco Rubio, about any of these freaks. And we have to remember that. And this one, especially dealing with people's lives. I mean, who knows if JD Vance spoke up, if he went out publicly and said, you know what, the Iran war, it's just not going to plan. And I think we should get out of there. If JD Vance did that, there might be Americans who are alive today. And yet he didn't, because he's a coward, he's weak, and he's beholden to Donald Trump.
