The firing of Katie Zachariah, Donald Trump’s five-day press secretary, appears to have been orchestrated by Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, who allegedly set up a damaging Fox News interview with Sean Hannity to expose her unpreparedness and lack of credibility. According to reports, Trump excluded Wiles from the hiring process, fueling her resentment and motivating her to eliminate a rival. The interview, which aired during primetime and went virally with 3.2 million views, featured Zachariah’s poor responses and abrupt cutoff, visibly undermining her qualifications. Trump later privately told her she lacked talent and was not suited for the role, leading to her immediate dismissal. Wiles and Natalie Harp were seen smiling after the firing, suggesting personal satisfaction, and Wiles had been actively pushing for Scott Jennings, a CNN commentator, as her preferred replacement. The incident reveals a pattern of internal sabotage, with Trump deflecting criticism by falsely claiming the reports were "fake news," while privately acknowledging the role’s challenges. The broader implication is that key figures in the administration are using personal and political maneuvers to protect their influence, often at the expense of competence and transparency. This case illustrates a troubling dynamic in which loyalty, visibility, and power trump professional standards, reinforcing concerns about governance integrity within the Trump administration.
We are now learning the truth about Donald Trump firing Katie Zachariah, his former press secretary who lasted just five days on the job. And it is so much more sinister and much darker than anybody new to begin with. She was essentially sabotaged by members of Donald Trump's administration, setting her up to fail. According to the Daily Mail and a number of other outlets, Susie Wiles, Trump's chief of staff, gave the kill order. This brutal inside story of her firing and how Trump's ice maiden laid this prime time trap that Katie Zachariah walked right into and flopped in front of Donald Trump and the entire country. And to understand why Susie Wiles might have done something like this, you have to go back to Katie Zachariah's hiring. Donald Trump essentially left Susie Wiles out of the process, which is quite weird because normally for a presidential administration, the president is going to keep the chief of staff in the loop. That is a high-ranking official who deals with the staff in the White House. And Donald Trump left her out. According to the Guardian and according to insiders who spoke to the independent, Donald Trump offered Zachariah the job without telling Chief of Staff Susie Wiles who had been working for weeks to get Scott Jennings, the CNN commentator who has spent years defending Trump to give up his lucrative TV job to come be the press secretary. So Susie Wiles was working on something over here. Donald Trump said, "To hell with that, to hell with you, I'm doing my own thing." And I think that left Susie Wiles in a somewhat salty position. She really wanted to go after Katie Zachariah. And in this time, Susie Wiles was also fighting for her job. According to Politico, Natalie Harp printed out reporting on Susie Wiles' future for Trump, triggering a freak out. Trump blew up Wiles' allies, burned up phones to contain the fallout. Now Trump is making more calls about Wiles and a new name is floating. Jay Clayton, so Donald Trump has been talking to people behind the scene saying, "Do you think I should fire Susie Wiles? Do you think that there are other people out there who might be better for this role?" And according to people close to Trump who have known Trump for quite some time, if he starts picking up the phones and calling people about firing you, you're done. That's the beginning of the end for you. There's really no coming back. And Donald Trump is in that process. So Susie Wiles has been fighting for her job and maybe taking out people in the administration who weren't her biggest fans. You know, Katie Zachariah being that person, and she actually laid a trap for Zachariah. According to some new reporting from Axios and others, Susie Wiles set up Katie Zachariah's appearance on Fox News on Thursday that later saw her ousted as press secretary. That disaster's interview she did with Sean Hannity, where Sean Hannity was pressing her, asking her some serious questions. That was set up by Susie Wiles. She was set up to fail. The interview with Sean Hannity, which aired during primetime, turned into a pointed examination of Zachariah's first press briefing and her legal credentials. One source described the appearance as a sanctioned hit. Zachariah was not her preferred choice for the role. Donald Trump also confirmed later on social media that he had been watching Sean Hannity that night, meaning that he saw the interview. And to go back a little bit, this was part of the interview that really backfired on her. It went incredibly viral, 3.2 million views. A lot of people saw this clip of Zachariah who was asked by Sean Hannity about her many scandals and he kind of ended the interview early. They started playing the music and kicked her off air because of how bad the interview was going. Watch. Right. Why only three questions in 14 minutes and what might you do a little differently going forward? I can give you some unsolicited advice that's never going to be a friendly room to you. Yeah, so what I would say is I would absolutely be very well prepared on the briefing, Sean. And I would love and I do love questions and I would love to build a relationship with all of those members of the press corps. So there is a substantive component to us having an ability to interact. And I will be very prepared, Sean. And I will step up to the duty of President Trump has asked me to his press secretary. All right, Katie, wish you the best. That answer was just all over the place and they really did start playing the music. It's like the Oscars, the Grammys, when you go up for your acceptance speech and you're thanking everybody and then they play the music telling you to get off the stage. That's kind of what happened in this Fox News interview and Donald Trump was not impressed even a little bit. And then she went on Fox News the next day, the very morning after this interview, which was yesterday morning, kind of hard to keep track of all of these days. I mean, it was such a small period of time that she was there, but she went on Fox News the morning show and she was asked straight up, do you think you still have the confidence of the president, which at the time we didn't really know the answer to that question. Now we do at this time that she was answering the question, she did not, but this is what she said. Okay, Katie, looking forward, what are you planning? When's the next press briefing? Will you have another one? Well, I'll be working in close coordination with the communications department, the president to determine when the best. Next time for a press briefing is and I'm really looking forward to working with the press, looking with the journal, working with all of the journalists and everyone here and it's a really a true privilege and I am excited to do it and it's going to be a wonderful journey and we have a lot to look forward to as a country. And there is no better president to work for than President Trump. He is just the most hard working and credible man and I'm grateful to be here. Katie, do you and it's a tough question. Do you think you still have the confidence of the president? I'm standing here and I was able to travel with him through all of the midterm convention or excuse me the midterm rallies and I hope to be able to build the trust and confidence of everyone around me. All right, Katie. Thanks so much for joining folks and for this morning. Thank you so much. Off and running, meanwhile. Wow, just a rough interview, a rough answer, a rough interview all around, quite embarrassing for the new press secretary, former press secretary now. She didn't even seem to believe for a little bit that she had the confidence of Donald Trump in that answer. There was not a part of me that was convinced by her answer. And then later that very day, after that Fox News interview, Donald Trump told the media that he spoke to Zachariah and said, "I don't know if you want this role. I think you might be happier if you weren't here." Many people. Many people. Many people. Many people. Some of them take the bar for exams, the bar exam four times. But I wasn't hiring as a lawyer. I hired as a press. And she's been very good. You know, she's been loyal to me from day one for a long time. But it's not an easy job and I think she was really treated very unfairly. So I'll speak to her about it. I go there, I think you better up being happy. And I'm not sure you can ever be happy in this stuff. There's nothing easy about this job. Wow. And that, you know, after Donald Trump said this, I think it was genuinely like 15 or 20 minutes later, the New York Times and others were reporting that she got fired. So as soon as he said this, it was over. Everybody kind of knew it was done. But interestingly, in this same gaggle with the media, Donald Trump was asked, "Are you shopping around for a new chief of staff?" Donald Trump said, "No, that's a false report that was written by Politico Fake News. I could not be more happy with Suzy Wiles as she was actively sabotaging members of Donald Trump's administration." But we soon learned after that of what Donald Trump was saying behind the scenes about Katie's acarea after it was announced that she was fired, you know, the leaks started. People started speaking to the media. And one of the things we learned about what Trump was saying about her behind the scenes before she got fired was that quote, in an earlier meeting that Zachariah was not present for, Donald Trump told attendees that she had no talent, no talent and shouldn't be on TV. I wonder if Donald Trump came to that conclusion himself or Suzy Wiles kind of planted the seed in his head and let it kind of grow and let him simmer on it because, you know, Donald Trump wants members in his administration who are good on TV. That's like qualification number one, not if you're experienced, not if you've been in this field or whatever it might be, but if you're good on TV and if you look good on TV, that's what Donald Trump wants. And so him saying she had no talent and shouldn't be on television is another kiss of death basically for Donald Trump. And then after the firing, you know, two people were seen on the tarmac at joint base Andrews smiling. This photo was caught after her firing. That is Natalie Harp, of course, and Suzy Wiles. Now Suzy Wiles gets the name ice maiden because she shows basically no emotions. And yet Zachariah gets fired and she's seen smiling in photos that were taken. And I'm sure that Natalie Harp is also pretty stoked because she gets more of Donald Trump's attention. I imagine she doesn't really want to share it. You know, she wrote letters saying you're all that matters to me. So I bet she is also pretty happy. But going back to what we talked about earlier in the video with Suzy Wiles wanting Scott Jennings to be the next next press secretary, she'd been working on this for a while and guess who's now the front runner for the job. Scott Jennings, it seems like Suzy Wiles going behind Donald Trump's back has set up this plan to get Zachariah out and get her preferred candidate in. I wonder what Donald Trump would say about that. If he heard it, you know, Donald Trump hates when people goes behind his back and does something that might undermine him and undermine his authority. And with all these reports coming out that Suzy Wiles's job might be kind of up in the air, I wonder if that could be the straw that broke the camel's back. But even Scott Jennings couldn't contain his excitement, his face lit up after he learned that Zachariah had been fired. He was on air or during his podcast or whatever the hell Scott Jennings is doing these days. And you can
to see the excitement in his face as he learned that she had been fired. Okay, that was President Trump on the north side of the White House, just a few minutes ago, making his first comments about the last week with his new press secretary, Katie Zachariah. Just to recap, President told the reporters there that he told Zachariah is this for you? He told her you don't need this, you aren't being treated fairly. He referred to her interview on Fox News last night, Sean was a little bit tough. He said Fox this morning was a little bit tough. He said he told Zachariah you don't have to do this if you don't want to. He said I'm going to let her make that decision. She's a nice person. If I were you, I'd reconsider. I just want her to be happy. She has suffered over the last few days. You know, I think the president is right. I think she is a very nice person. And obviously she and the president have some things to talk about. It has gone a little bumpy over the past few days, but President, making news here, perhaps reconsidering his choice of White House press secretary. He seems kind of happy. He doesn't seem to somber in this video whatsoever. But look, if you are happy for Susie Wiles and sad for Katie Zachariah, I wouldn't which I don't really imagine that anybody at home is that's watching this show. Maybe if you're watching Fox News, maybe that's how you feel, not this show. We don't do that on this show. But you know, Susie Wiles at least shouldn't be too happy yet that she's gotten this person out of the role that she didn't want in the role. She has to be on edge because of course, Donald Trump right now is looking for somebody to put the blame on for his inevitable midterm loss. Knock on wood. Fingers crossed. It actually happens. It's not certain yet. People actually got to get out there and vote. Early voting has started in many states. If you haven't done that, you should do that. But Donald Trump still looking to throw the blame on somebody. He'll never do it himself. Obviously, it's not who Trump is. We've known this for quite some time. And who could be somebody that takes that blame? Is it going to be JD Vance? Is it going to be Marco Rubio? Or might it be the chief of staff? I'll let you guys decide who is most likely. But I will leave the video there. Thank you so much for watching. I just wanted to talk about this really just kind of sinister plot taking place behind the scenes in the Trump administration. And this is another reminder to the mega people. You should never, ever sell your soul to Donald Trump because it always ends like this. The mega movement, Donald Trump and the people around him claim that the mega movement is welcoming. They just want everybody in it. But in reality, it's just a bunch of grifters, it's a bunch of scammers who are looking out for themselves and only themselves. That's why they're all inside our trading and making a bunch of money off of Donald Trump's presidency. They're looking at this as an opportunity. So Suzy Wiles is looking at this as an opportunity, willing to get anybody fired if it helps herself. It's a terrible movement, a terrible group of people.
