There's some pretty shocking news there has been a crash at Miami International Airport where a prime air Boeing 767 overshot through one way at Miami International Airport. And here's just a bit of footage on that. And here's what we know so far about, now this is a cargo plane, there weren't any airport passengers and we are still getting updates on folks' health, but here is at least one update. It originated in San Juan, Puerto Rico, officials at MIA have instituted a ground stop, they have halted all flights on this busy holiday travel weekend. Now before we do have some updates on fatalities, but before we get to that, I just want to remind you that this is, there's a direct line between this sort of stuff happening and Donald Trump. As it says here, the Trump administration on February 14 fired hundreds of employees of the FAA, the agency tasked with administering and ensuring safety of US airspace. And the month since Donald Trump returned the White House, there have been deadly pranklashes in Alaska, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. Now they are aware of this, and they have tried to fix it, but as you can see, it's not gotten better. And what's crazy is this happened to Miami, I literally flew to Miami last night, last night. So I was hours away from being close to this very dangerous situation, which kind of brings it very, very much so home to me. And I don't know about you, I mean, I don't know how many of you fly, but I'm just going to tell you, flying has gotten much more chaotic, much more than it has ever been in the past. Now the Trump administration, also in social media posts through Secretary Sean Duffy said the agency had let go under 400 probationary employees that had been hired within the last year. He said zero air traffic controllers and critical safety personnel were let go. The AA employs about 45,000 people, according to May 2024 data. Now here's an update here. We do, sadly, now know that five people were killed and five injured from the cargo plane that overran a runway at Miami Airport. Here's a bit more on that. At least five people are dead and five injured after a cargo plane overran a runway after landing at Miami International Airport and struck multiple vehicles on Sunday afternoon authority said the Boeing 767 300 cargo aircraft, which is part of Amazon's cargo fleet departed from Marin International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico and landed at the Miami Airport just before 2pm, the FAA said in a statement. And a news conference, Sheriff Rosie Cordero Stuts of the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office said that in addition to the dead, multiple individuals suffered unknown injuries and were taken to local hospitals. The sheriff said there is currently no apparent threat to public safety. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said more than 60 units responded after the plane overran a runway and struck multiple vehicles, units arrived to find an airplane that had caught on fire as a result of this crash with heavy flames and smoke showing. Firefighters are working on extinguishing the fire and there are multiple patients. And the mayor of Miami-Dade County said that five others were injured, my heart is with all the families who were affected. So we're going to keep following this. We're going to get more information as this comes about. But certainly, I'm just going to say this, this sort of thing just did not happen. It did not happen in the frequency and severity that it has under Trump's administration. Now we truly don't know the line from how firing those people could have impacted this. But I just have to say that I think what we're learning, what Trump has begun to talk to teach us is that government is actually quite important, like food, food. We used to not have to worry about the food. And now I'm getting reports every day of some new virus, bacteria, or other poisonous object put into our food because Donald Trump has released so much government oversight and fired so many people who did good work. Now, I guess the silver lining is that they're still catching these things. But I think what we're learning is that government is actually quite important and it does a good job. It used to do a good job of keeping us safe, of course. Now government can always do a better job of keeping us safe and informed and really trying to fight for the public, but it's just insane to me that we have to deal with dire real lettuce, and we have to worry when we fly in a way that I'd frankly never had to before, never. As you can see here, this is where the plane crashed and here is some sound from when that was taking place. We do have a patient on the ground. We're looking at serving the area for more patients. Copy, if you can catch a PD unit and have them advise, all advise on my ass. As affirmative, I have advice PD, we're going to use 6-7, so we're going to head south on 6-7 to start transporting patients, so all the rescues can line up on the north side of 6-7. I just want to say to the men and women who do work for the government and who do what they can to keep us safe. I'm just sorry that your job is harder, and this is not a reflection on you.
