354: They've Been Lying To Us Our Whole Lives

The conversation explores a mix of personal, social, and technological topics, centered around everyday experiences and observations. The hosts discuss seasonal fashion, TikTok shopping trends, and the effectiveness of influencer marketing, highlighting how genuine, relatable content drives purchases. They also critique the overuse of high-resolution makeup and editing on social media, noting that such content often feels inauthentic and can be visually jarring. A key theme involves social media visibility and privacy, especially regarding dating profiles and the presence of past relationships, with participants emphasizing that such content can serve as both a sign of experience and a potential red flag. The discussion extends to controversial content like AI-generated videos, where authenticity is questioned, and real-world incidents such as road rage, car accidents, and social media reactions are shared with both humor and concern. Personal questions about forgiveness, like whether to visit a sibling after a serious crime, underscore the complexity of loyalty and moral boundaries. Through these reflections, the dialogue reveals how digital culture shapes personal behavior, interactions, and perceptions, often blending practicality, emotion, and judgment in unexpected ways.

Matt, did you dye your hair brown? I did not. Why does it look very brown? It looks really dark right now. Well, it's for the fall, you know? Thank you. Brown on brown on brown, you know? I know. And just know it's 100 degrees out here in Los Angeles County, okay? And so when I'm committing to the fall and the sweaters and stuff, just know I'm doing it for you. Which we appreciate. And I was trying to look nice too because I was like, oh yeah, and you said it's fall. You know, we got again, the vibe, but it is 103 degrees outside and it's been like that for the past like five days, it's not fun being outside. I barely want to leave my house to come here because I knew I was going to be outside today. Yeah, my neighbor was like, where are you going? Can I have you? I'm like, podcast, baby podcast, but I like the hat though, very nice. Thank you. Did you, did you order online just to talk shop, baby? Our shop is getting me with the seasonal layer and it's like ten bucks free shipping. I'll take it. A little pumpkin patch hat, like how easy it is to, like I, I, I get it. Yeah. I get it. Back when TikTok was all over my like, before and now, but like when it was all over my feed, I was like, I don't know how people like even use it. It seems junky. Yeah. It seems like you got to also go to like the person's like true store and see like, is this a genuine like establishment? Yeah. I also, I do like to give credit for people that genuinely get me to buy something because you know how long times they'll just go to like the site and buy it all the site so they don't give any commission. Yeah. Like I know people will do that. I do that all the time. And I do too. If I, if I feel like the person didn't do a good job selling me because they're, you're, you're not going to get the money because you popped up on my feed. True. You're getting the money. If you convince me to buy it because of what you said and how you sold it to me. But it's the same for later count because a lot of times I'm like, hold on that. Maybe you don't need this. Think about it. Think about it. Have you bought anything off the TikTok shop, Heath? Anything. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, from a house, right? No, echo, beater, echo, beater. Are you wearing them now? No, I should be though. It's, it's too thick though. Heath, I've tried those. It's way too thick. Yeah. No, it's literally like a, it's a fucking girdle for me. Yeah. It's like it's just like dude, it is the most constricting thing. I got it for the, when we were getting married for our wedding because I wanted to have like a tank top underneath like my shirt and I was like, let me see if they, let me get this slim one. Yeah. But there is something I've been eyeing on TikTok shop for like a year now and the guy keeps popping up on my feet and I'm like, he's so convincing. It's this guy that puts on this, it's kind of like a under eye bag cream type thing. Oh, yes. Oh, dude. John Roth. Is this something John, the three letter, three names. Yes. Yes. The cream. Do you put it on one side and you literally watch it in real time, shrivel up and shrink and the eye bags completely gone. I'm like, this can't be that good. Like it can't be that real. And every time it pops up like probably like once a month, I'm like, fuck, do you feel like you have baggy under eyes? I feel like I do. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like everybody's certain. No, you know what, I never noticed. Well, everything. It's like certain days. Like certain days like when you like feel like tired or groggy, they'll like, they'll just form. They're just a little bigger. Yeah. A little bit more. I think I would prefer like a cream more than like those, you know, those like just genuine under eye patches, like the gold ones you keep in your fridge and stuff. After I use those, my whole face is just red. Like irritated, but it's not doing like I have to then spend another hour letting my eyes calm down before I can even pick up my phone or go about my day and leave the house. It takes me 20 minutes to adjust to the ice cold eye mask. Like putting the full face, I, I literally tingle inside because of how cold it is. Is this coloration under eyes? Is that, is that also considered eye bags? Like dark, dark circles. Or darkness. Or darkness. God. Okay. So I don't like, I definitely, I don't have eye bags where it's like a, like a, like rough off. Yeah. Right. I do how I will have like discoloration sometimes, maybe if I, if I, some hyperpigmentation, I'd have like a rough night or something and like, I'm like, oh, wow, it's a little darker there. I don't know how to get rid of it. I feel like that's something where it's just like throughout the day, it just goes away. A little man make up. Like a, like powder. No, no, I don't want to do that. I know. No, that's okay. You get, you see that shit. Like every day, like whenever I have a shoe and they put, like we're putting light, light makeup, they do it. I look at myself. It looks like I just face to my face. Oh, right. And they'll do light, light fucking makeup. I'm like, no, you can fucking clear this up guys summer. I turn pretty. Both of the guys on summer turn pretty, it's, they're just caked with makeup. Oh, you could tell on, I, when I'm watching, I'm like, God, normally, I feel like on screen like that. They're, I know they're pretty good at it. No, I know exactly what you're talking about because now with the advances in technology with like cameras and stuff, you can see bad and poor makeup, especially when it comes to like the bruises and that, like it pulls you out of the movie because it's so clear. And you could just see it and you're like, oh, like back in the day, if it was like film film, you're like, it's not clear enough to be able to tell. It's, it's way too clear. They, they need to pull it back on like the, the, the, the resolution of it is just because nobody likes it. And it hurts our eyes too. Like there's nothing about, like it's super, super clear that any of us enjoy. No. And the way it like moves on the screen that you're watching, it like just does not the high frame rate. Yeah. It's not natural to the eye. So you're like, are you ever like, have you ever been over like someone's house and maybe like a game is on or just, and they have the high frame rate on their TV? Oh, yeah. I hate it. It feels like a video game. It depends how close I am with the person, but I am a person to be like, you know, your frame rates too high. And there's sometimes like, what, what are you talking about? I mean, is that something? Oh, you're a lot of, you could, that's something you change right on the, yeah, in the settings. Yeah. But a good friend tells a friend when their TV is a little too high. Because most people, when you hear high frame or you're like, oh, I'm going to put to the highest setting because you know, I bought the CV for that, right? Yes. But then you don't realize that like when you really look close at it, it's fucking hurting every part of your eye. Or also creator kind of thing. Have you ever noticed like some creators like filming an HDR and like, if you swipe up to like the content as it's coming your feet, there's this like quick kind of like glow and then it settles. Yeah. And sometimes you want to reach it. And it's like a good friend who's a creator, but you don't want to seem, you never want to just seem like you're being a dick and trying to correct people. But I want to be like, Hey, there's a difference between going to them personally or texting them personally and saying something, then saying it in a group in a room full of people. Or like saying it in a comment like, if you say in a comment, now you're just like showing everybody like what I'm doing. I think I would rather wait till I saw that creator like in person after talking for a bit and then bring it up. I don't mind because they would just be like, because I like for example, Remy, I didn't realize or I didn't know that when people, as soon as people post, it's not in the clearest form. It takes like a couple minutes for it to fully, I didn't know that, right? So I saw Remy post something, but it was like, she just had posted it. And I saw that it was like super pixelated and I immediately reached out to her like, Hey, just letting you know, it's like super pixelated. I see it's a brand deal. I just the fact that you just posted, I want, I wanted to let you know as soon as possible. And she told me that no, it's clear. It just, it takes time. It takes a bit. So I know, I think it's good. And if people get offended by that, like, I feel like they're just like taking it too personally. I see, I feel like sometimes for like, let's just say non creators or people who don't have that big of a following, I always feel like Instagram doesn't make those quality videos better. I think they make them better for like bigger creators or maybe on, I think, I think because I think we just have the right settings. We, I think we are anal about that because we are creators. But like, I know girls that like their settings are highest. Like, they're not influencers, but I know that they know settings better than me. Yeah. Like, their pictures are always top notch. They know what they're doing, but they're not influencers. And it's all depending on if you know how to work your settings and stuff. There's this guy that posts stuff all the time and does, like, hashtag, like, shot on iPhone. And I'm looking at these videos and pictures and I'm like, fucking how? Yeah. How? Whether you run, ring it from the right iPhone. Shot on an iPhone. I'm like, huh? It's not my iPhone. But it's also, it's also when you have it on like a smooth, stable, like, like a stabilizer, like tripod sort of thing, because that's how they shoot those, it's not like someone's holding it. Yeah. If I own the shake, that, that completely changes the, um, like the result, like the quality of it, like the pixel wise, but when you have it on a steady camera and you're having it move like that, yeah, crystal clear. It's a completely different video. Oh, I have a question. Sometimes I see like girls like, oh, these are like things that give me the ink with guys. And sometimes they'd be like, if a guy posts on his story or if he just posts a dump in general, obviously for us that doesn't apply because that's our job. But do you think it's cringe? If a dude who's not a creator is just posted, no, no, I don't find a creature on it. And so for the girls who think that it's cringe for a guy to post on social media, let him. Yeah, let us. Let me. But you know, it's bonus points when it's funny. You know what I mean? Like I, like I appreciate a good carousel when they're not influencer and it's like a funny carousel. I'm like, damn, he put work into it. He's really good. Being himself and if you're a dude, don't make fun of your bros for posting on social media. Yeah. Like, you know, yeah, is that, is that a thing or I know I see a lot of girls made fun, but I don't think guys look, look at that look that look at it. I hope not. I don't think I hope not because I'm not on the other end of that because my high school friends, I beg that's your job. You got to do it. Yeah. But to be honest, though, my high school friends don't post. So I guess I only see influencers on my timeline. Guys are rarely posting. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. I don't think they care to post my cousin single now and I'm like, let me check your Instagram. I'm like, bro, you haven't posted it in a year. We got to get some new picks up, especially if you're single, uh-huh. You got to keep that. I'm not saying you got to post every week, maybe once a month, every two months, just to be accurate. I think as long as you're keeping your dating profile, if that's what you meant, all you need to keep it. As long as the girls are still after the dating profile, they're going to go check out your Instagram. Yeah. [BLANK_AUDIO] good foes goes, they're going to look at it like you're dating profile. There's a link that picks with your ex. You guys believe in that? Yes. Yes. I mean, yes, we're moving regardless. Yeah. Yeah. I like the fact that people keep it when they scroll to, I think that's crazy because the girls are going to be going deep into that. Yeah. They're going to find who your ex is. Yeah, there's because they're just going to investigate investigative journalism. I mean, we're all going to do. There's nothing negative about it. I think it's more just, all right, this is, I don't want to confuse anybody. It's your garden. Exactly. Cut out the weeds. It's your space. It's your area. Yeah. And if a girl sees that, like, does she know 100% if you guys are actually over and not really? Because it's so on your page. But sometimes you girls at least want to see proof of a past relationship. I'm just putting that up for the audience, meaning like, because if it looks like he's never been with anybody, and he's like a 30 year old guy, I don't know. It's, I think it's important to know maybe someone has been in his serious relationship. Yeah. So they know how to love. That's true. Yeah. I mean, I think like without having like, you don't need proof of it on your page. But I, a girl's do see it as a green flag when they've had a relationship before. Yeah. Like if you're on a date, it'll get brought up. Talk about it. Yeah. And I've always heard that with like dating profiles, sometimes if you're a guy, it's good to have pictures of you with girls, plural, not like you, it the girl. Like it's like, oh, no, just fucking just bags of weed and money just like in guns and women and he's just like a natural like to look like. Oh, he has friends who are girls and those girls trust him like he's yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've heard that as a strategy. I don't know if that's still the norm these days. Yeah. I think that's a, I think that's a good thing to have a mix of people in all your pictures to show that like look your friends at everybody. Yeah. You know, you're, but you know your boundaries. Everything you've said, I've heard the exact opposite. I've heard, I've heard both, which is like the funny kind of confusing thing where it's like, uh, girls will go and stalk somebody's Instagram before a date or something, right? But then it's also kind of an acre or red flag. If the guys do post right, you regularly on social media, right? Or it's like, yeah, you want to show that you have friends or whatever. But like if you have photos of girls, it's like, well, why is he hanging out with other girls? Like who are these other girls? Maybe there should be girls saying guys in the pic. Maybe just because then it's like also like guys can't have friends that are girls because they're only after one thing. Like that's like the whole like, you know, and that's a whole and also the girl, like the girl will see that too. Maybe if it's a girl that, you know, gets super insecure and doesn't want to hang around with other girls except for her, maybe seeing a picture like that does get her to swipe left. Right. It kind of saves two different types of guys sometimes. I feel like there's guys who they don't, I mean, sure, they are friends with girls, but they aren't like guys who are like one-on-one friends with girls. Wait, what, what, what, like you're saying that like, look, I, Carly and I are friends. We're texting. I can text Carly. It's not weird that I'm a guy and I have a friend who's a girl and we're texting. Yeah. Some girls are like, you can't be texting any other women, but it's also because that's the type of guy. Maybe he has zero girlfriend. So it's abnormal if he was texting a girl one-on-one. It also depends on the person you are too, right? So like knowing you and everybody knowing you, you texting Carly, you texting a close girlfriend is not weird at all because that's because you don't have a, people don't know you as somebody who like gets around or is like constantly like, it depends on the guy. Yeah. But I think it's weird if you were like dating a guy and he has girlfriends and then you're like, you can't talk to them anymore. When it's totally like just a normal friendship. Yeah. I don't know. It's interesting. That is interesting. It varies case by case. Yeah. But I think there's like certain boundaries that you have to set up for yourself to like. So if I was, you know, super close with just a girl that friends with all my life and I used to go to each other's house, hang out, whatever, I would definitely step back on doing some of those things because I know on the other side that that would make me not be like, I know there, I know. Yes. Being in her position, I know that they're super close, but there's got to be like some sort of step back. Oh, you have to step back. Yeah. Like a step that works just like I just got off work. I'm going to go hang out at this girl's house before I go. No, you have. I'm talking. Yeah. But I'm even talking even further than that. Like just like knowing that you need to watch out for how she perceives things to in a way. Right. Without having it cut out completely. It's boundaries. It's prioritizing people. And yeah. Yeah. No. No. Some things you got to like, yeah. Like go. And that was a long, awful intro. That really was. Oh my gosh. Let's, let's, we're on this issue. You right, Booki. It's coming up. Let's go. Welcome back to say he thought filtered. Welcome back. Welcome back. My name is Zane. I am. My name is He. My name is Matt. My name is Jared. And welcome back to another episode. Thank you for coming in. Thank you for tuning in. Thank you for staying here. We love you. Before we continue, this episode is sponsored by collective. As you know, GLP ones are everywhere right now. So I started looking into them. And honestly, it got overwhelming really fast. There are so many companies, different prices, different programs. It is so hard to know what you're actually paying for. But then I came across collective. And the whole thing just felt so much simpler. Collective uses the buying power of its members to negotiate lower prices from registered US pharmacies with third-party testing for quality and potency. And most other GLP one companies charge people up to 500% markups on what GLP ones actually cost to produce. With collective, you get doctor prescribed compounded GLP ones for $59 a month. And that price stays the same at every dose. There's no hidden fees or introductory price that suddenly jumps up after two months. Plus you're going to get unlimited messaging with a real doctor and access to a licensed nutritionalist. Start your 21 day free trial where you just pay for the medication and can cancel easily anytime if you're not satisfied. Get compounded GLP ones for $59 a month from collective. Again, it's the same price every dose and you don't have to pre-pay in advance to get the lowest price in the country. Visit collective.org/unfiltered. That's co-llletiv.org/unfiltred. Thank you, collective, for sponsoring this podcast. We love you. Oh my gosh. Heath, I had a dad question. Hit me. Oh, I guess. Well, Tony's kind of like waking up to more being like a toddler than he was like a baby, baby, baby, baby. But sometimes I see on like TikTok, like, oh, these are different methods or ways to like make your baby stop crying and stuff. Was there ever any method that you saw online? You're like, oh, that's actually true. The only thing that was like tried and true that really worked for me was like the football carry. That's the one I see. But up to a certain age right now, if I do that, he doesn't give a shit. Yeah. Full arch. Like he's like, I just wouldn't be comfortable because he's not like as almost like as thin as your arm anymore. Huge. Yeah. But yeah, that was the only thing that worked for me when he was younger and like kind of like overwhelmed. Like I would just put him in that little football hold and then just kind of like walk around the house, take him outside, show him things and immediately would calm down. I feel like that would calm me down. Yeah. I get that. Imagine if you could just lay on it and just yes. It's like a body pillow. Yeah. It's great. I was so nervous about like the videos or you know, we all even have pictures of when your dad's taking a nap, your baby sleep and just ride on you think I still would be so freaking nervous. I mean, take the picture. I think I would be so nervous about just like, I was terrified. Yeah. I'll be sleeping at light, napping. That was my thing. Like I would never fall asleep with him on my chest. Just because like I'm such a heavy sleeper that if I rolled and didn't know, you'd be thinking it's like a leg pillow. That's the role. That's so scary. Like heavy sleepers, you have to like really be careful about like how they're sleeping next to you or whatever. Yeah. No, I'm I was very aware of that. I feel like that's every like every situation where a parent has accidentally self-care or whatever their kid because they're sleeping the same thing, but it's because they had to have been heavy sleepers. Yeah, probably because like it's so hard and you think as a light sleeper to like not be able to notice like I'd wake up immediately like if I like something like that. You guys do any of those like glitter like patches or whatever. Maybe we've talked about this. We're like on the baby cam while they're sleeping in the dark. Like sometimes you don't know if like they're breathing or not, but you can put this little sticker and just like moves because you can see the ripple of the glitter. Oh, that's a great idea. Oh my god. The little camera thing that we have in the crib. What's going on? It came with a belly band for when they're really little. Whoa. And it wraps around their stomach and that has like a pattern textured to it that you'd be able to see like breathing and movement. That's really bands. Speaking of nanny camp. Did you have any of you seen Verity yet? No, okay. So I didn't know. I didn't know anything about the bot. I just knew it was adaptation from that we were living together. Okay. And but apparently it's like one of the author's worst books. Calling Hoover. Yes. Really? It's one of our worst. That's what I kept seeing. I think she probably does have better ones, but that's the only calling Hoover book I ever read. Yeah. So obviously me and my mom, we watched it for her birthday. We went into it not knowing anything. We didn't even watch a trailer. I've never seen the trailer. I have no idea what it was about. And that's how, you know, that's the best way to watch a movie. And it was we both were like, okay, that was like fine, whatever. Like we enjoyed it. But man, I remember coming home and I almost felt like, oh god, does my taste. It's my taste, not right? Because everybody was saying it was like the worst movie that they've ever seen. Oh, bummer. It's like it was. It's like, it's like, it's like, it's not I think we're in the house made or was it like house made good to where it's like, it's just this thrill. Yeah. Yeah. Like a fun watch. Yeah. Yeah. It was like a fun watch. It's like, it's decent. Yeah. It was like me and my wife walked out of it were like, all right, whatever. Well, like you said, it's a movie you don't watch again, you know? But it's just like, oh, we got Josh Hartnett up in it. And is it Amanda Sifried? Who's the other girl? Dakota Johnson. Every time I see the poster though, I think it's, I think it's Addison Ray. Oh, go to the Verity poster. The one that's always around town from far away, I keep thinking that's Addison Ray. Oh, okay. I see it. All right. I'm talking with your driving from far away. Yeah. I'm like, stop. Okay. poster. But it's so interesting because people were talking about my mom. I mean, my mom mentioned it more about Dakota Johnson. It's great. It's funny how her character in every movie is like the same. Yeah. And she's adorable. But like the things that she's, she's good, it's just she doesn't get past that like it's almost like she plays this character where she's just like doesn't care about or easy to her. It feels, or it feels like she doesn't care about the movie she's filming. Yeah. We're just like. She's just been. I don't know how this is going to come out. You're going to get the bare minimum from me. But then I watched, she was on SNL and I was watching her performance on there. And I thought she was really good on SNL. She needs to play more comedy roles. I agree. She's actually like really funny and interview really good and because she has, you get such as such a dry sense of humor. So you need to put her in like more comedies, but like you remember she was in 21 Jump Street. Wait, really? Dakota Johnson. You know, when they're in like, you know, how their whole program that they're in with all those like, you know, popping each other's assholes and stuff. She's like, we just, we just busted our first deal. Yeah. It's nothing like her, dude, I, if we watch this again right now, I would have never even noticed I was hurt. I think you would have caught it. Rewatch it. It doesn't even look like her though. Whoever convinced her to get bangs needs a fucking award, bro, she went with the bangs and never left it. Yeah. And then you know what other movie she's in. She's in the social network. When Justin Timberlake is Sean Parker and he like wakes up in that Stanford girls dorm. Okay. And she's just like, yeah, I got on the Facebook last night or she goes, wait, you're Sean Parker. You must be worth a billion dollars and he's like, yeah, whatever. Like, she's a little bit of a Stanford underwear. I can't believe she just looks nothing like, like, like that. She looks, it's a completely different person. I wouldn't even. I wouldn't even say they'd be sisters. I would say like cousins. Second. Like, it's just, it's just so, he knew her step. That is. It's totally a vendetta. Who? And totally a vendetta. Really? Yeah. Her mom is Melanie Griffith. Griffith? Melanie Griffith. I know like, there's a whole thing where she's like, you know, a nap. She's like a cool nap. I didn't know. I didn't know who, or by who, like, I don't even know who this is. I've never heard of her. So wait. So you saw Verity. Yeah, I saw Verity. And I thought I just couldn't believe the, but I speak on any came because there was a scene where I was like, in any came on in a, in a halfway, halfway's character. She was in an accident. And they just kind of like sometimes watch her through that. I'm not going to say anything more, but interesting. Yeah. Guys, did you see the new Amazon driver glasses that they're all? Well, mandated to wear? No. Is it like a, like a full-shift monitoring kind of thing? Yes. And it's taking thousands of pictures like an hour of your house walking up front door. Oh, that's, that's not good. That's really bad. Oh, I mean, I could see in terms of this being the, the right of the worker or the invasion of privacy of them going up to homes and stuff. Both. Both. Yeah. Yeah. So I don't, I don't need to be doing that. I don't want, like I don't want, yeah, no, I don't think that about this and it's been dated. I haven't really seen any takes from workers, but I just saw the announcement that it was like the new thing. Yeah. I mean, look, this is a thing. There's so many packages that either get mishandled, stolen, whatever. And I think that's just like another safe way to, I mean, to show, to show the customer like, hey, look, you're a package. But they take a, they take a picture when it arrives. Yeah. I think it's a more efficiency with customer service things. So there's like less disputes where people are like, the package never arrived. And they're like, it did. Well, somebody stole it. Like, I don't know. If there's more like, again, it's more, it's, it protects the more protects Amazon a little bit more on, if the workers feel very uncomfortable with it, hopefully on their breaks, they're able to like at least turn it off and stuff. Yeah. I think there's, there's a little stuff where I'm like, damn, like maybe you can't listen to your own music on the radio while you're going about just trying to make your day a little bit easier. But if you're working at other jobs or security cameras on you all the time, I mean, in terms of like retail stores and stuff and then, but the, the privacy of like homeowners and just like, I don't know, kind of weird. I just feel like the only, the only people, the only time there should be cameras around the houses when it's connected to our account. Yeah. Don't be, don't be walking like to my house, delivering packages and, well, then maybe on to your Amazon account, then you can say like, you probably can, you can't opt out that they can't come up and film your house. Oh, wow. That's surprising. Cause it's your property. To me, the way I see it, I'm like, oh, something, something's going on in the back end. There's a reason for this. And I just see it as mobile flat cameras. You got stationary, flat cameras everywhere. Now you got thousands of drivers going around with glasses, also filming and like, like, I'm just like, I'm just, it's just, it's not needed. I like, I get it. I just don't think it's necessary because most people, I mean, a lot, most people have cameras now installed in their homes around our lives. Meta kind of cooked with the new, augmented reality glasses, the display glasses, or yeah, yeah, yeah. The ones that are now the Apple vision, yeah, I have not seen what it looks like on the inside of it. I did see. Is this a heat? Yeah. So it's just like the Apple vision glasses, but they're so small and they're like the shape of a glasses. Like they're not like these big old goggle wrap around things. Yeah. What are closer to like proper VR than like some gaming headset? What are some features that, you know, are as new in this, in this version where it's just like, I mean, it's probably you're able to set up like multi monitor systems similar to the Vision Quest pro where you can like, operate a little better, maybe play a couple video games and stuff. If it works, this is a first, this is a first of its kind when it comes to like glasses. So that's kind of, kind of crazy. Oh, look how thick they are. I wonder how long the battery lost because like, even with the Meta Quest pro, you had to have like, it really had to be plugged in your, you were carrying around a huge battery pack. Yeah. Yeah. Not the Meta Quest. The, um, the vision pro, because I know they all got quests in the damn name. I know the Meta, because I know the Meta band, the meta ones that they can't, like the one for recording. I know those cameras die or those die quick. It less, it depends how often you're really using it. Yeah. Like, I can go. Yeah. It's not that bad. And your, and your, your case is also a charger. So it's not like, well, I'm done for the day. I get to see me using this in like, maybe a, like your grocery store or something. I think I'll say fun ways to be able to use it where it's, I never thought about it before, but I just watched Keyon's Instagram reel where he was drawing out the Paw Patrol characters on sheets of plywood. Okay. And he had the quest on and was drawing, I guess, because you can project the image on to something. So you're tracing it through the glasses. Like, you have it on. I'm like, okay. But like, if you, the thing is that if you move does the whole thing move, or you know, you know, it is where the boundary is, like, it's done like a full scan of like where you are in the room. And so I love that. That is dope. See, when it becomes an accessory to make like something cool and creative and it's not, like, subbing out the creative tool, yeah, yeah, go for it. I get that. And I mean, don't be a creep when you wear those too. Yeah. What are like some fun, creepy ways to be able to use those glasses to be the way to directly talking to them and filming them without them knowing, I think is just like a little bizarre. But like, I've had fun times with my meta-ray bands. Like, have you? Like a family baseball game like, like, like, I got me getting a home run and then me running the bases. And then like, one time I'm in the middle of like a pickle during a baseball game. Yeah. And you're just like, like, it's just like fun seeing stuff like that emotion, you know? Like, I mean, I was in the outfield and a ball was coming and I caught it. Like, that was really cool. A lot of moments like that. It is crazy. I do love like when I'm watching a video and I see somebody interacting with somebody and they're wearing, they're recording from their glasses. There's something about the video that feels so good, like, like, like just, it feels like for the wall. Yeah, it feels good. It's like, that's it's a genuine POV, which I was just, but I know it's like, he was, he was at like a, like, a little league baseball game and the kid steps up the bat and he turns around and looks at the catcher and the catcher had meta glasses on. He's like, you got meta glasses on and then he was like, yeah, he goes record this homer, the bat cranked a home run and I was like, oh my, that's, I mean, that's, that's a commercial right there. Yeah. That's a perfect like one for the meta and then the, the catcher that was on the other team. He's like, he just called it out. He caught, like, he was excited for the catcher. I go delete it. Is it? Oh, yeah. I didn't get it man. Sorry. What? Yeah. I'm recording. I guess. Oh my god. He told it. No, he told it. No, he told it. Oh my god. He told it. Did you guys see on TikTok? There was a video of, I mean, at first, I thought it was AI until like until Howie Mendel turned around. I was like, wait, what? There's a video of like something on fire like in a parking lot. That's not AI. I don't think so. I haven't seen it. Yeah. The one of like, there's like something on fire in the parking lot in Howie Mendel. Okay. Yeah. Plenty. No, it's not AI. That's AI. That's incredible. Dad. I could explode if there's gas in it. Okay, the explosion has to be fake. The explosion is probably fake. Yes, but that whole, yeah. Okay, that zoom was way too good though. Yeah, no, I was consumed like that. I feel like that fire is a billowing, you know what I mean? Like it's too, it's like, too dramatic. There's a bit of meat, but like, no, there, I mean, bro, fire is like that. Does that car look real? Sorry, guys, that this is very visual for our listeners. I also don't think how we men dealt right now would even post that just because of the all right. Play this. Is that a video posted though? It isn't me always making content with his like kids and stuff. Like he's always like, have it doing ideas. I don't want it. I don't want to look like a boomer. But damn, though, if there was a car that heavy on fire, why is that woman right next to it? Oh, she has a fire extinguisher. There's gas in it. I mean, that explosion's fake, but like explosions fake, but you think I don't know though. If a car was on fire like that, for her to, for her to move like that, you have to come up with that idea on the spot. You know, I was like, you know, but you don't come up with ideas like that was a spot like that. I think she just got it. And then like showed, because isn't how we mean they'll have to have that whole, like, fun little creative factory in like studio. And I bet they were like playing it. And then one of the guys who works at Howie, Mendel must have been like, you should have like a bang at the end of it. And they're like, oh, yeah. Sure. Okay. I see that happening. Yeah. Just because we've been to Howie, Mendel's studio. Yeah. And how much of a fun house that place is. Uh-huh. I could see that. The only things look really good if it is fake. I don't think it's fake because all of the text in the video is very consistent. Even like when she moved like this lady has her hair blocking this Columbia logo when she zooms in on Howie, the text doesn't. There's no red flags. Yeah. There's no red flags or anything. Damn. It's crazy. How we can't even fucking believe something anymore. Yeah. Like it's just an authentic video. We're just like, no. One video, someone posted back from like 2020 or maybe even 2019 that would have totally looked AI is the, what do you want to say to Joe Biden right now? What's up, girl? Buy me off. Take me off and then a beanbong like that is what chaos is like AI looking nonsense. I've ever seen. But it's real. That's so true. How like AI that situation that entire situation is because it's like, it's too perfect of a moment for it to come out now and for people to be like, not questioning it. So good. So right now, Joe, I think he's still around doing the street interviews and shit. Good for him. I forgot about that video. I hope it's still like authentic. I hope he's still not just like just going to say this crazy thing. Well, you know, you know how it is. I know. He always loses authenticity. You have to. Yeah. Cause you need the next video to do better and the next video to do better. All right, brief pause for this episode sponsor kick off. I have an update on the Chris Watts story with a girlfriend with his girlfriend now ex-girlfriend ex fiance. Oh, didn't work out. Her girlfriend's finally got to her. Oh, sure. No, maybe that, I mean, that book is still coming out now. Believe it or look book. Oh, I love got to do it, yeah. Believe it or not, it was not her girlfriend's a got to her. It was Chris Watts's mom, Chris Watts's mom got to Chris Watts. And she severely disapproved of their relationship. So she disapproved her. Yeah. Oh, that's terrible. Well, the kind of I first I was like, good for her mom where she's like, sweetie, you are going in there and serving your time. You do not get the luxuries of companionship. Like it was she that hard of a mom or she's like, oh, she's just not your type. Yeah. No, I think it's more that second type that's. Imagine, imagine also like passing now, the mom's like litmus test for like being a good fit. Like now when I see doesn't think you're good enough. Yeah. Who's been the type you want to date? Yeah. And I'm surprised that anyway, I'm sure I said that you even have any standards right now. Right. Oh, like she's not the right girl for you. Like any girl coming to your fucking cell, who put that now? Who was the source that like gave this update? Did her mom give a statement? I think mom. I think it was a close family member to Chris Watts that broke the story and then who was it? It was like TMZ or Daily Mail was able to talk to Lizzie and they both confirmed that their relationship. She never warmed up to Lizzie. She never warmed up to her. Never did. Yeah. Matt, genuine question. Like if you, if your brother did something like horrendous, right? Yeah. Got served the jail sentence. Yeah. I'm talking something like really bad. Mm-hmm. Are you going to visit even though he's your brother? Are you looking past what or are you like complete? Well, we can draw the damn it will, yeah, it depends seriously how bad the crime was. Yeah. I mean, the crime matters have be so much to where I don't know him anymore. And I don't see him as a brother anymore, like something horrible. Yeah. I think the more horrible it is, probably not because then I'm like, you're no longer in there because that's not the person I know you to be. But if there was, there's a scam, there's a horrible crime. Of course, I would like to see my brother because I'd like to think, um, I'd like to think I'm a forgiving person. I'd like to think we'd like have a forgiving God. I do want to like at least see like past that and understand like he is serving his time. He is serving. Okay. He is doing his punishment. Yeah. Yeah. Um, and I think there's just a bit of me. We're like, I would like to maybe check in on that person just to see it through. I don't know. I would just be seeing it more out of just curiosity for myself and helping me make sense of it than getting them any like joy from it. I don't know. It's a, that's a very tough question to answer and I really don't know what my answer would be. I like, again, I most likely would still visit again. There's a, there's a spectrum of horrendous crime, right? It's all pretty horrendous. But there is a, there is a level where it's just like, oh, I, I can't even, I can't even waste my time in coming to see this person. Like, and let them think that I'm okay with what they did. No, no, I don't think you coming to see them does not mean you're okay with what they did. I, I think there's a, and it depends like, I mean, it's also the crime. It was something with like, who knows, maybe they were serial killers the whole time you knew them or they were running a Ponzi scheme. They were taking money from you. Yeah. It doesn't matter like how close your friendship and how great things were. They were living a genuine con and a lie to you, your whole friendship. Then yeah, you've lost me completely. Yeah. Cause if you weren't honest with me, with me back then, you're not going to be honest with me now. So what's the point of this? Yeah. That's a good one, too, where it's just like, I remember, and I know the made-offs are a really bad example because they were a family that had a billions of dollars, but it was a whole fucking Ponzi scheme. It's just the most recent movie I saw where like, when the dad went to jail and like that family lost everything. Everything. Do who? Sorry. But it is saddened ways because it, things happened bad with the sons and stuff. But they were like, my father's dead to me. No one in this family would go see him at all in prison anymore. Because you lied to us the whole time you were a family. It was all a lie. So that's where I'm like the example of like, you lied to me the whole time. So you're dead to me as that relationship. Yeah. Does that make sense? Yeah, yes. Because it's something that it was like a length of time where you're just like saying lies and you weren't even honest with your family. Yeah. Right. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah. This is crazy. I think murder, too. I'd be like, I have to get a sense of this. I know. Passion and I need to visit my brother. Yeah. Yeah. I know it varies by circumstance. And I think it's very tough to even judge anybody's decision on what they want to do in that situation. I mean. Oh, but like I'm in no position. If something happened in the moment and it's just like, okay, like now it's eat like this is the time where you, you either are a part of a crime or not. Fucking, it doesn't matter who the fuck they are. I run in the other way. Like if my brother committed like a murder right in front of me, I couldn't, I couldn't get him to you like still bleeding like, you gotta help me man. You gotta help me. Come on. Sorry. No. I don't care. No. That's what we're getting involved. You're not dragging me into that. Yeah. I did a crime. I love my brother too much. I wouldn't try to wrap him up into it. Yeah. You shouldn't go to your loved ones. You gotta help me. Yeah. You got yourself into this mess. Yes. You gotta get yourself out. And also like the fact that you can't, like you came to me putting me in this situation. So now it's either I have to be a good brother, but now I'm putting myself in a situation where I could go to prison as long as you are. Uh-uh. No, you're not a good brother because you would have kept the shit away from me. I wouldn't have even known it. I think the most I would do is just be like, I know nothing. Like I wouldn't voluntarily help or like, do you know what I mean? You have to leave now, but you're not going to pick up the phone and be like he was here. Yeah. Sure. Yeah. If they go, did your brother come, like, and be like, yeah, I told him he had a leave. You know what? You can sue me, put me in court of law and be like, okay, I just was like, I'm not helping you. Yeah, what even crime is that? Well, I think if you knew a crime, well, just be like, don't open your mouth. Just a little blood, all of his hands, don't say anything, go. You know what I would have been, I would have been like, what, this is a fucked up prank, get out of my house. I thought it was a prank. Covers your ass. Yeah. How dare you go this far with this prank? We are not brothers. Oh, did you see the guy that stole a Tesla and drove it down like Santa Monica here recently? Or the boardwalk and do this lady props to her like body awareness and how quick thinking and reactive she was. Dude, she was like an inch away from being run over and she jumped over the barricade. Oh, wow. Okay. I don't know. I was scared. How many go boardwalk? It wasn't the Santa Monica boardwalk. And this kid goes and chases down because the guy gets out of his car after he like fucking crashes it and then starts running. And this guy goes and chases the dude to the parking lot and is able to like get this footage like chasing him. Yeah, look at me. Did they react to it? I know he was filming quick. Oh, he filmed that. Yes. I think it's buddy. Yeah. Yeah, he's filming it. Honestly, good for him. And they get him down. And you know what his shirt says? I can't believe they blurred it out. The fucking shirt says, look around and find out. You got to find the clip of the car flying down the boardwalk. The way she jumped and reacted is so impressive. I know. Just missed it by like a hair. And honestly, it's a Tesla too. So you don't hear like an engine coming super loud up behind you. Like the fact that she, but I also thought Tesla had where it had features in it where it. It detects that you're like running towards a group of you. It like tries to fucking stop the car. Yeah, I'm surprised that like the Tesla was even like, oh, yeah, let's go turbo mode down the boardwalk in area where I think cars aren't even allowed. Yeah. Yeah. I'm surprised. I think that's what I'm most shocked about. Did you see that scene? No, I didn't see that. Oh, did I just fucking miss it? The girl. Oh, wait here. She just jumped. Oh, and dude, most people are like wearing a fucking air pods and shit. I know. You're going to see that shit coming or hear it props to her. That's fucking awesome. Good for her. And to the guys that like stop this dude. Why take your flip flops off? We're trying to catch somebody. He's not going to catch anybody in the game. You know, man, yeah, you I could not run in flip flops like that. Hell no. I would flip out the flop. Yeah, you take them off run bear put in that area, though. I don't know if I would. Speaking of fucking cars running through shit, something popped up on my feed this morning. This girl. It looked like a breakup gone wrong or she was like, I know, I know that bitch is in their bowl. It was this girl outside of her like man's house. And he's like, you're crazy. You need to leave all that. She's like, you're going to regret it. And just look what she does right now. Oh, I really get straight to the point how nobody's fucking in here or you're tripping. He's telling there's nobody in there. They're open. The fucking door. Oh no. I don't believe Jake. Get the fuck out of here. Okay. Don't say I didn't fucking warn you. Well, she's dressed for you. No. You know. Oh, is there a moment she crashes and goes, I shouldn't fuck that. What were you thinking? Or when there's nobody in there and you're just like, oh my god, what did I just do? Like if they're if she, if he really didn't have another girl in there. And just imagine like, and just the jokes attached this moment is for forever hot her. What are you going to do? Run through my house. Like, you know, like it's, it's always just going to come back to buy her in the ass. Like anytime there's a fight or anything is just going to always come down to, are we good, baby? You're not going to drive a car through somebody's house, right? Let it go. It was one time or you're with your friends like, I'll drive and it was on Mercedes, girl. Yeah. That was a bend and it looked, it looks new too. I had a friend one time. She was a, she just got her a pedicure on her feet and you know how they give you those like little makeshift flip flop kind of thing. And tow, tow dividers. Now I can't remember if she was wearing the flip flops or she had them already flopped off from a pass pedicure and was just having them on her floor board like next to her pedal and break in everything. She was like at like a smoke shop like getting some cigarettes and she got in her car and she was getting something into the somehow the, the fucking flip flop went on the gas or something in the car. Like not full speed, but just went into the whole fucking like gas station thing because it wasn't like a full crash, but it was this slow just like, and her like trying to get like the break and like everything. But those flip flops are so um I know I wish this happened so many years ago and I wish I could give you the techniques of how exactly it happened with this damn flip flop that caused the car to go into slight acceleration and crash into this store and it was a total accident. Yeah. Of course. But make sure there's nothing on your fucking floorboards and stuff. Jesus. But yeah. You the flip flop company for that. I don't think like she, no, no, no, no, that's your own neglect as a driver making sure your area is not like. Okay. You can see anything for anyone. Yeah. You could. You could just like, oh, well, I mean, yeah, I mean, you could, but just won't know if you win or not or if it's a good case. A lawyer has to make that decision was also like the same worth of my time. Yeah. If you're a lawyer and go, oh, yeah, you have a good solid case. I want to work on it. Yeah. A lot of lawyers like this. Or it's like, look, between me and you, it's not a good case, but I'll do it for you. It's just, it's going to be a lot of money. Working pro bono. No, not pro bono. No, no, no, we're doing hourly and we're doing overtime too. Did I ever tell you that about that time when I was driving and there was like a little road rage, road rage incident with the guy in front of me, I was kind of being like obnoxious with my horn because he like cut me off and we were just like, oh, he's like, so lay it, right? They're sorry. You know, people go like, beep, beep, beep. He goes. He can't sweat, make them sweat and it was, this was when I was back living in Florida. But this guy, like, I was just like, he, he, he passed me off. Uh-huh. Um, so I just like laid on the horn and he like got really worked up about it. But I'm like, you were in the wrong. So I just like kept it going. It's like, I saw he was getting pissed. So I was just like, fucking with him. And when we came up to this light, like, he, I was behind him, he stopped and I just kept sitting on the horn and I'm like, Matt, he was so mad. He got out of his car, but forgot to put it in park and he comes walking up to my car. Like, he was about to do something and I'm looking at him and I see his car rolling away. And I'm just like this. I'm like, oh, my like, this is, and all I did was like this. I just pointed to my window at his car and he went like this and turned around and saw it. And he sprinted trying to catch like, chase his head back up to his car and he slammed into the back of another car and I just like this dude, it was literally like a movie scene. But that was the craziest thing that's ever happened like with road rage. No, there's, I've seen a few, uh, I've seen a few TikToks of like, I guess, situation just like that. I love it. You saw the one that were the lady who was just like getting out. She's like, fuck you about, but like she didn't put it in a park, but the door clip, it, like, it pinned between a car and the door close on her leg. And she was like, yeah. Yeah. When you hear her scream as the person recording drives away, so you just hear the scream go. Oh. And it was, that's what made it so funny was just that scream going. Like the Wilhelm scream, yeah, those are, it's fun to especially when that person's in the wrong. They're pretty, um, they're pretty satisfying to watch. It is. My last accident was that one where I parked my car and it was at night and I didn't realize that my car was touching the car in front of me and I chipped her, I chipped her, uh, paint off. Oh, is that when you like left her low and out? She left me a note. And then I think I had to leave her a note. And then I paid. How do you know that she didn't like, I take your car, you know, I don't like how, but I was going to back up in the pictures like showing me like, yeah, you were touching my car. So yeah, maybe she could have like backed into it. No, I think it was my fault because I was trying so hard just to get in the red. Oh, you're like, right. The red, you're just like, yeah, I'm trying to get as close as possible, but I did not. I think I looked at the back tire and was like, Oh, I'm good. And I didn't realize I was touching her car. Oh, I see a lot of people in New York. They put like the bumper guards on. It's like this mat that flaps over out of the trunk. Oh, I see that too. It's for when like people parallel park, so nobody like hits the back or front of your car. It's a good idea. I feel like I've seen more delivery drivers having shit like that outside of their cars. Yeah. You might as well, especially if you're constantly driving. What I hate is just every time I'm like pulling up to my house, like I'm always looking out for her car or making like, I've seen her, oh, she's, oh, she's never talked. We never talked. I think she like lives across the street or whatever, but sometimes I'm like, maybe I'm about to walk at the door. And I see her like walking. I'm like, I'm going to just you should come. You should stop by with some like cupcakes, just like, hey, remember bump in India. Yeah. Yeah. I do like it. You let her each cupcake. That would be fun. Time has passed. All right. Before we continue, we want to give a big thank you to Mountain Dew Baja Blast for sponsoring this podcast today. We're going to be doing a segment called it ready for anything because sometimes life throws curve balls at you. Last minute things stuff you're not prepared for, but when you got a Baja Blast nearby and some good friends around you, anything is possible. (upbeat music) - I'm gonna crack this baby open. (blows kiss) - Ah! - Mm. - Zero show girl, because I'm on a journey, you know what I'm saying? - Heath, like the time. Remember when we had our criminal justice class? - Yeah. - And that like final essay that me and you had to do? - Oh, our big final group project that we had. - Big final group project. And we didn't start on it until last minute. - It was the night before it was due. And we had to do this like 12 page essay whole thing that we were gonna present in front of the class. And we decided to work on it last minute the night before. We did not go to sleep. We finished it, pressed print, and then headed out the door directly to class. - It's insane that we even left to, you know why I think that we left us so last minute. Like we just didn't really care about that at the time. It's because that's when we started we're posting videos. We were making like our little videos on, and that's I think in our head we're just like, who cares? Like, oh, this isn't important, but like at the same time we were just like, oh my god, we gotta get this done. And we were all night, we didn't get up, we didn't get up hour of sleep. Saddle all night and went straight to the class and crushed it. Do you remember what grade we got? - We got an A, boo. - We got an A, wow. - Uh-huh. - Play drive is the whole thing too, insane. - This was before AI, so we really had to do it. (laughing) But yeah, that was definitely a time where we had to scoop it up last minute, get our heads together, and get something done. - Maybe we shouldn't have procrastinated, but you know what, we got it done. - Oh, Heath, why don't you bring up what else is last minute that we just literally found out yesterday? - Speaking of being ready for anything in the moment, we just got a literal last minute trip that Zayn and I are gonna be going on. - There was no option. It was like, it was in a position where we're like, oh, we had to go, we had to drop everything. And people are gonna be upset, people are gonna be pissed 'cause we schedule stuff out, but we gotta make it work and we gotta go. And that's just happening real soon. - Because you know why, baby? Because we are ready for anything. And we have good company and we got Baja Blast by our side, Boogie. - Period. - I mean, you know what else is last minute? Every time we record the show. We waiting for every single episode, we got nothing prepared. Thankfully Jared has some stuff prepared. I know Matt comes prepared, but we come for no wings. No, no, actually full wings. - I'm a bird. - I feel like that's where we thrive though, in the need of the moment. - That's true. - That's our zone. We function at the boiling point. - When you do something so last minute, crack and open, a Baja Blast and get in there for a sip, it makes you feel like everything's gonna be A.O.K. - That's right. And when you're running at that boiling point, you need that ice cold, Baja Blast to cool you back down, bring you back down to temperature. - And if you guys want to be like us and be prepared for anything with a Baja Blast in your hand, make sure to check out your local retailer near you. - That's right. And if you're not sure where to find them, you can go to mountaindo.com and see where the closest retailer is to you. - Thank you, Mountain Do Baja Blast for sponsoring this segment. We love you so much. And I'm gonna finish you now. Peace. - I've a fun little topic. So I saw this kid who posted online. He says like, "I'm autistic." And I guess I never realized when people say this phrase that they actually mean this. And then everyone in the comments are like, "Wait, maybe I'm autistic." Just because everyone kind of gets this phrase wrong. So you know that phrase, like, it's like a call and response thing. It's like, "Hey, I'll see you later. "Not if I see you first." - Okay. - "What does that mean to you guys?" When the someone goes, "Not if I see you first." What does that mean? - I simple as if they see the other person first, and I saw you first. - That's what I used to think too, but that's not it. - That's not it, Zane. And guess what? I kind of, if you ask me that question, I would say the same response you're saying. - Yeah. - And do you know what the real response is? So he, yeah, this is the meaning behind the response of "Not if I see you first." - It's kind of like a nasty thing to say. So if you were like, "Oh, I'll see you later." And then I said, "Not if I see you first." That means if I see you first, you're not gonna see me. I'm gonna avoid that fact. - Oh. - What? - It's like a, it's like, - That fact that you can pass me back and compliment out of fun. - "Not if I see you first." - That's crazy 'cause it just doesn't even sound like that. - It just doesn't even register like that. - I think even the people who are saying it don't know the joke. I think the original delivery is like, "Not if I see you first." Like that kind of a thing more than like, "Not if I see you first." - I can understand it. - See you later, alligator. - I can understand if somebody's at war and they're trying to kill each other. See you later, "Not if I see you first." - Like to me, that makes a little, that'll come back to me. - It's like, it's like a kid with a bottle. - You know that, like it does matter who sees the other person first 'cause that means that that person's gonna be dead. - Right. - So that makes sense, but like in a friendly way, that. - And just like clearly, it's not like an autism test, but it was funny where this kid who's like, "I never picked up on that." And I guess I'm autistic and everyone's like, "We've never picked up on that." - Is it because that term was used first in times like that or whatever? - And now just people use it and who knows? It could have been like a line from like a new and Lori sketch, or not you and Lori, but like a avid and costello. It could be like a very old comedic kind of thing or maybe from "I love Lucy" and then people started saying it and then people kept saying it and now no one knew the origins of it. Where's it from? mid 20th century vernacular banter in North America. - Oh, honestly, I thought it would be before that. - Yeah. - Wow. - Yeah, sarcastic comeback. - Not if I see you first. - It even, the more you think about it too, the nastier it sounds. - Yeah. - It's like, "Ooh." - Not if I see you first. - To me, to me, it sounds like two people that are trying to kill each other. That's how I see it. Now, not if I see you first. - You mentioned the first two people who were like, see you later, alligator, after Wild Crocodile. They must have been like, "Damn!" Oh, we got caught. Oh, shit, man. We, oh, after Wild Crocodile. - Yeah. - Hell yeah, put it right there. - Yeah. - We got to make merch. (laughing) It's like the new Sud dude. - You know Wild Crocodile. - You know, there's so many shirts like that too. - Like, see you later. - And fucking Swap Shops. - Yeah. - And then the other shirts, like, after Wild Crocodile. - Or it's on the back of it. - Yeah. - Just to have it all all month. - You say, after a while? - In a while. - Yeah. - Crocodile. - Wait, in a while, crocodile. - In a while. - After a while. - Crocodile. - It flows smoother when you say, "In a while." - In a while. - Yeah, see you later, alligator, crocodile. And what's the first thing? - In a while, crocodile. - In a while. - In a while. - Like, you'll see me in a while. - Some people say, after a while. - No, that's you Matt. - Look. - Matt King says, after a while. - Okay, this is after a while, crocodile. - Oh, that's a quick version. - Yes, blow a kiss, jellyfish. Give a hug, ladybug. See you soon, big by boot. Out the door, dinosaur. - Gotta go Buffalo. - But then this, in a while, crocodile. - Ooh, I think we tapped into a new regional-- - Ooh, yeah. - Interesting. - Original phenomenon. So, comment down below, guys. Are you in a while, crocodile? Or after a while, crocodile? - I like in a while. - But I also like, take care, polar bear. - That one's cute. - Oh, you're gonna pop it down. - I just saw that one. Yeah, take care, polar bear. - Um, your girl, Gypsy Rose. Husband. - Zane. - I've been dying to talk about it. - I thought-- - My girl Gypsy Rose. - You're a girl. - Like a Gypsy Apologist? - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, you're just, no, you just have some friends that are like, okay, go on, go on, I've never met the girl. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, yeah. When I first saw it on my feet, I was like, oh, there's no way this is, like it, I thought it was a joke. - Again, it's a joke, like there's no way this would happen. - And it happened. - And he did it on his birthday. - On his birthday. - But-- - He did it at my birthday. - Did you hear the strange call? - Yes. - Oh, I'm gonna be there in 15 minutes. Motherfucker. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. There was like a record, like not only that, but there was also a recording of her talking about a dream, like a little before this. - Oh, yes. I didn't dive too deep in that one, but yeah. - Yeah, she was saying how just explaining her dream to somebody I don't know who she's on to him, or I think it was him 'cause he was recording it. But she was just describing her dream as how she like murdered him, and it was just after done having sex with him, and she like murdered him, bubble, like just, but why are all these recorded? - That's like my biggest thing. It's like how are they getting all these recordings from her? Like somebody was recording. - Or I don't know if she's that bad with her phone, dude. - If they can pull it, I don't know. - What do you mean bad with her phone? Like were you saying she recorded it? - I feel like there was like tons of like data, like she got like so much stuff leaked of Gypsy, right? Wasn't it like tons, there were tons of videos that she was recording. - Well, I mean it's-- - That's being recorded, that means that somebody is recording it. - Yeah. - It's not like she recorded it. - She's just recording it. - My wife, I'd be like, we gotta record this. - You're just from my safety. - I love you. Oh my gosh, it's so crazy. I can't believe we're together. - But we don't know what happened. - Like, I don't think they did it. - We do not know, and maybe by the time this episode comes out, forgive us if we do know more. It's just kind of crazy. God, do you see that comment? She has two-tier drop tattoos by her mom. - Oh God. - People. - That's terrible. - I mean, we-- - I don't, yeah, innocent until proving guilty, but it's pretty suspicious. But I love the woman she's yelling at him like on the phone, that voicemail, and everyone the comments is like, I think we've all yelled at our husbands like this before. Y'all would hate me if you knew me in person. - Yeah, I also, like if I were to put all my money in a basket, I think it was just like something on four. There's no, there's, is you know, I just don't think she would do that again. - That's just a crazy. It's crazy. Dude, having that freedom again, I'm sure she's enjoying her freedom. - I hope so. - You know, it's, well, I don't know her personally. I've seen her get her makeup done by a few people that I've fallen in. - Same, oh, you've not been in the same room. - No, no, I've seen her like do videos with other influencers. - Yeah, I don't know if I would even talk to her. - I'd be like, hey, I'm mad. Nope, don't get up, don't get up. (laughing) - No, no, please, no, please, no, no, no, no, no, please. Hi, I'm mad. - Yeah. - Don't even look at me. You don't even get to get, look at my face. Just, hi. - Shit. - That's happening. - Tea. - Well, hear more. But yeah, that was some hot tea. I heard that, she was like, you gotta be fucking kidding me. - And there's a thing. a super plague in Russia. What? Didn't hear it just heard about this here. Hopefully it's nothing like an anti plague place where they study making sure like to not make a plague something got leaked and one guy died. One of the scientists and so now everyone at the hospitals quarantined about 200 people. No, nobody has like reported sick, but once again, this is like this is the plot of the book. I'm reading like that's exactly how the super, it's a movie. Yeah, that's crazy. From that. So cats and anti plague institute and a researcher has died. And now as many as 189 people have also been placed under medical observation in other cooks or cooks, a region in Siberia due to the exposure of the potentially deadly disease. So let's stay optimistic. Also speaking of optimism, I have a fun little video of all the fun great things that have been happening in the world. Oh, I guess just played the other is those little montage of I think I saw this take talk and hopefully all of this is real. I'd like to believe so. Let's hear it. We got better in the last few decades. Finally, carbon, the United States is only about half of what it was in 2006. The number of people with STDs is dropped by over 50% and the number of people who've died from STDs has dropped by 2/3 since 2005. Wow. I liked. Okay. They're minds over in the early 2000s is nearly completely healed itself. Increasing air quality in the United States by almost 50% and increased wide air quality by nearly 11% per person. Remember people living in extreme poverty has dropped from one in five in 1996 to one in 10 in 2026. And don't get me wrong, we can do better on this one, but that's still over a billion people who are saved for mixture. Access to clean waters at an all time high with about 75% of the world's population having access. I believe that. I believe that. And the who estimates that that is saved nearly two million lives. We needed that. Yeah. There's still more. You want to keep here in the rest? Yeah. Sure. Why not? Okay. I don't want to say no because I don't want to look negative. The literacy and adults has climbed about 10% since the early 2000s and has almost completely close the gap between men and women with about 90% of women and about 92% of men being able to write and read. We talked so much about how the world is. There we go. There we go. It's good. The ozone layer one was like, oh, a little bit of a relief. Yeah, I don't exactly feel like it. Well, yeah. Damn right. Yeah. Damn right. Hopefully that's true. I'll never forget when I was a kid in kindergarten. First grade and Miss Glancy, I think it was her name. She was like, every time you start your car, a little tiny piece of the ozone layer disappears. And I'm like, huh? Didn't it? It's all going to go away. I'm talking when I was getting the way she goes, a little piece goes away. And I was like, Oh, then we're fuck. Yeah. And then that movie, the core came out. And then I was like, Oh, dear. It's kind of like those videos, you know, those videos that parents will post is like, what are things that you tell your kids? You lie to your kids about that still works today, almost like. Yeah. There was one that I was that I was like, Oh, the rain, when you, it's like, honey, if you see a rainbow in the street over water, you know like the oil, when there's oil, it's like, that's because a kid was hit on the street for not holding their mom's hand. Yeah. That a lot of likes and dance are like, Oh, my, this is dark, but like, I'd use it because if that gets him to never run across street without me, without my hand attached to him, then I guess that would work. So it's like different things like that. The parents will like try to instill or just like kind of play around with. And another thing that just reminded me, uh, things that we were told as a kid that you just believed in just didn't really understand. Like I always thought fossil fuels was the fossils. Like I, yeah, I thought it was fossils. Still in my head, when someone says fossil fuels, I'm still thinking. I think about the watch brand first. And then I think about fossils. You think about fossil the brand. The war you think about. Someone get in the fossil brand deal that is. I don't even think about fossil at all. I don't even think it's a brand anymore. Yes, it is. Fossil still a watch brand. Yeah. It's got to be like I haven't seen it. Go to an outlet mall. There's like a fossil shop. Okay. Yeah. Did they have an actual fossil? Did you have a fossil shop? I believe there's fossil stores. Oh, I know what you mean. Fossil fuels think it was really fossil. Yeah. One time though, there was a girl in first grade. Harley. Her name was Harley. She told me that her grandpa threw up his heart. So he threw up his heart. And then I remember being sick. And I, you know, sick had a little popsicle sore throat. And I had a cherry popsicle. And then I went to go throw up. And it was red. And I thought I was going to throw up my heart. And I started crying and freaking out. Is I am going to throw my heart? But I thought it was possible to throw up your heart. Yeah. For a long time. I could, I could believe that as a kid for sure. It makes sense. I already told you I thought the, the kiss at a marriage was what made the woman pregnant. That's, that's my favorite one. Yes. Yes. That's my favorite one at a pray. But there's no way I was the only one that thought like that. There had to have been millions of kids that thought like that. Right. And when you're learning like the birth of Jesus and stuff, like a virgin Mary, like no one, when you're like four or five, no one's like going, so like a virgin means he hadn't had sex. And it was just a miracle. Like there's this, no one's really getting specific about the virginity part of your kid. And so you're like, oh, so they just wanted a baby so hard. It was a miracle. And they prayed and then God gave them a baby. That's what I was thinking for a long time. I always thought it was a bad word because the, the black flame candle in focus. That's cool. When they were throwing out a virgin, I'm like, oh my gosh. What is a virgin? The black came fit black flame candle. And the bus drivers like, so you're a virgin. The kids just in height. He's a freshman in high school. Let's hope he's maybe still a virgin. Leave factory alone. I'm surprised that they like, that was in that movie for a Disney movie. Yeah. Can you take it? Was like, yeah, then it either goes that good. A little, a little something for the, for the adults. You could have just made it. Oh, when a child lights the black clean by. He's like, why was it virginity? I don't know. But you know, I think that they're trying to make it super like, I think for adults, like this, like dark, like spooky movie. So it's like for adults, they're just like, oh, yeah. There's like, oh, there's a word in here that like makes me feel like this is real. And that's a kid. I didn't think anything of it when they were saying. A virgin lit the black flame candle. That's probably what Disney channel was expecting. They were like, no, no, it is not going to know what the hell this word is. But or every kid's going to be like, mom, what's a virgin? You think you think exactly where my brain went? I was like, it's got to be something bad. It is because it is connected to like, it was connected to something scary. So I guess that would be a question that a kid would ask. Yeah. What is a virgin? I knew there was something taboo about it. Yeah. What do you say to the kid? Oh, you know, one thing, Max, doesn't that movie that I've always wanted to do is just, you know, the little water sprinklers that are like for fire safety. I remember he like lights that at the end. Yeah. It's been turned into a museum. Any lights it and it's the water and the things that's going to make them melt. Yeah. But like, you ever see those like in buildings? Uh-huh. God, I just want to take a lighter and see that it works. I've never been in a place where like, I mean, it would just suck. It makes everything wet. Do we have those in here? We do. Yeah, of course. Yeah. There should are. That would be ruined. Yeah. It would be not up to code. That again, big trouble for that. If they didn't have a yo, yeah. Oh, because dude, it catches on fire and it doesn't like the alarm doesn't go off and then the whole insurance wouldn't pay for it. Because he had nothing to like protect you or like to, there's no, there was no level of security. Uh-huh. Have you guys ever pulled a fire alarm in your life? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no I want to do the glass break the, oh yeah, why is it behind glass? We're already panicking about a fire now. I got some more glass. Well, it's because a lot of the time it's either a fire fire extinguisher or an axe. So you don't want that just hanging up there without any. I don't feel like I see axes at all anymore in them. I only see it in movies. But they got to have it. I'm sure they have it somewhere. That was another. I was trying so hard to think of a lie that somebody told me when I was a kid, I always thought if you pulled a fire alarm, it would spray ink on you. Oh, what? That's how like if you ever pulled it in a non-emergency, that's how they would catch you. That's a good line to tell kids. Yeah, that is. I did the, I did the, um, the emergency shower in my class. Did you did? Wait, were you hamming something up? You're like, I got, I had iron on me. I need a full shower. It was just like a quick little like, oh, you just started on a really quick. Yeah. Remember those, those, uh, things that they had attached to the desks where like you could turn and like gas, gas, gas, a little bunsen burner. That was like kind of crazy that they just had that up there. Uh, right. I don't think there was gas really in them unless you were doing a lab, they would go and put gas like propane tanks and then a lot of times there was not gas coming out in my science class. We never fucking use those things. Yeah, we see those on the movies all the time. These kids really do all these fucking lab experiments and like, we never really had the bunsen burner off. I feel like the closest thing we ever got to an experiment was when we made like slushies slime. Like slime. Like slime. No, it was like slime. Yeah, slime or slushy, like actual like ice cream. They're like, all right, connect it. We're going to do it. Like it was, we didn't do any sort of mix of chemicals to make. I don't like I got to do the bunsen burner one time. Yeah, that was art. That was literally art. Yeah, we, I never touched [BLANK_AUDIO] burner, but we had to know the damn name. We had another Erlin Meyer flask, graduated cylinder, Petry dish, four seps, but we had memory. Did we go to the periodic table? I know, I know, I know noble gases. I know. Um, we'll wait about it. Oh, do you want to hear a potassium joke? Yeah. Okay. No, that's good. Very good. What do you mean like how well I know the periodic table? Uh, the letters like for. I think it. If it was empty, salt is F E gold is A U. Could you fill that in? No. No. I could. I could say. Yeah. No. Somebody like put that shit together. And they were out there for a long periodilotically time. Oh, shut out. When is yeah, they need to make a periodic table move. Yeah. Breaking down. They already made one. Oh, true. Yeah. That was always so clever when they would like the little. Yeah. But like chemistry, I think was the hardest science. Yeah. And people took AP chemistry. Like can you fucking imagine when you're doing like the atomic numbers, do you remember? Like you would then have the elements or whatever and then you'd make these circles and how to put the dots within the circles above it. I'm like, what are we doing? It's like what are we doing here? We were going just a little too far on the chemistry. Where it's like, I know every single person in this class is not going to become a fucking chemist walking out of here. Pointless class. Yeah. Chemistry, but it is important to know when like volatile chemicals. Yeah. But like I just have us learn the basics of it. Like we would go so deep into it. Where I felt like it just became so hard for everybody. Right. I feel like they could extend a little bit more time on just reinforcing the basics more than like let's just keep going further. Unless you want to be a doctor, go in the pre AP AP classes. I actually really like that, like that way of like teaching when it comes to subjects, like just teach the basics and go harder on the basics of the subject. So we fully understand it because we know we didn't have time to fully understand just like the one hour every day that we had. No, it just wasn't an autonomy. When anatomy was like the full subject, biology, those I was like, because that's real and I can see it. I'm not saying that like other subjects don't matter, but I remember when I was in college, I dropped out of astronomy because I'm like, I would much rather know the bones that are in my hand than like calculating the distance between Saturn and Jupiter. Yeah. Because that's really, that's just math in a fun fact. But like I, if my child breaks something or like in their body, I know the systems of what's going on and how we digest things and how we process information. Like that's way more applicable to my own life. Yeah. But God bless the people who study astronomy. It is astronomy. I was like, I don't care. Think of it. Like shit went down and you had to like survive like just like survival mode. Like what are like the basics that like you need to know in every subject? Like could you, do you know how to do a tourniquet? Do you know how to pack a wound? I'd like to think I know. But that's something that again, they should teach like basic shit like that. Basic medical would be amazing. Basic medical was great. That's a great thing for like that should be like a, like a, a must requirement. Yeah, requirement in school for sure. Instead of learning this, but it's important people need to learn this. Yes, we, yes, we do, but like just the basics. I know. But that's the whole thing. It's so with education, you think, I know what I'm going to be interested in. So therefore these things don't matter. But sometimes people, as they continue to learn things, they realize, Oh, I actually do like this. Yeah. Kind of. So like exposure is important, but like math is great because like I, I do it. Like I use math all the time because I've been doing stuff in my basement. Like woodworking and angles and measure it. Like that's something I can apply every day. Yeah. I'm like, okay, this like, yes, this makes sense. But once it got into like the crazy math where it's like you would only need to know if you were going to build yachts in the future, where you're doing like trig and I'm like, I know. I know. I don't know. That's what I'm like. All right. We're stopping after this. Yeah. This is the most you're going to get the formulas. He's getting too much. Like or you know what else? Like I thought was like a great class. It was just really psychology, like human psychology. Yeah. I think that's a great one to also learn to because you're learning, you're studying the way people act and I think that's super important too. And that's also like a super elected applies to everything in life. It transcends it all because we get a little shout out to slope y equals m x plus b. Yeah. That shit went. That shit went so hard. We're like, oh, we are doing mathematics here. I felt like a mathematician whenever I like, oh, what when I like figure out exactly how to use that with any Jewish. Yeah. That equals m x plus b. Fuck yeah. That cause VIP into any club, any party. Yeah. You know, who also goes hard, but that you're in theorem. Yeah. Square plus b squared equals c squared. Like come on. And day, let's go. No shit. Yeah. Find that high content. High pot news. Like the limit does not exist. You couldn't, but I couldn't do a math competition though. But no, no, no, just like a math competition in general, but no, it doesn't exist. Yeah. No, but I could, could you take long division right now? I have this, I have a separate method for long division. So like a lot of people can look at numbers and go, I know how many of that number goes into that number. I kind of struggle. But if you just do like, well, three times five is 15. And then you add everything you times it by just to get it down. And you add that a lot. So you'll do like 15 times something. And then you'll take that and say, Oh, there's only five equations on the side. And everything you're timesing it by use like use that. Yeah. You subtract all the answers from that. And then you, it's complicated to explain. It's like a cheat long division. Yeah. I love, like I was really good at geometry, like the geometry class. Oh, really good. Yeah. Really good at that class. Oh, you're talking about pie or not, not geometry algebra. Okay, which is which in geometry is included in that class. No, those are two. I know what objects, but no, my algebra class had geometry in it. Okay. Okay. And like half the class. Yeah. I find it a radius or like a circumference of a circle. Oh, love, love, fractions, fractions do get a little dice. He fractions will kind of be like, okay. I don't like that fraction. And circumference. We still use today. Like what's the circumference of that girl booty? Okay. It's like it then we, and then you know, you know, if it's big, you know, if it's big, long or wide. And that's on period. Is any just be look at 36, 25 to six. Do you all know the numbers apply? How? Three, I know, imagine I knew 20, 20 of the numbers. No, no, no, 3.14. Two, I know six, six, 3.14, six, eight. No, I think it's 3.14159. Okay. Do it. Patricia can actually go pretty far on pie too. Really? I can go far with pie by eating it. 3.14, chocolate, 592. You got it. There we go. 10 points for you. 3.141592. Oh, I don't like the one after four. It doesn't flow. 3.159, 3.3.14952. I like that better. Oh, you also, I love Pemdos. Yes. Oh, Pemdos. What does that have to do with these exponents? Yes, yes. Multiplacation, division, addition, addition. We are some people are listening. We're like judicial legislative executive on the branches of the government. Shut it off. But that one was really satisfying too. You're like, I know what to do here. Yeah. Things are going in their place. Roger Bibb, which is the color of the rainbow. Oh, you said it like you didn't know. Roger Bibb. Yes. RGB. But that's not all the colors of the rainbow. Do you know the print all red? What? It lets you all the colors of the rainbow. Who you got? Who? Who? Who? Who? Where? Yeah. Roger Bibb is the all the colors of the rainbow. What do you mean? Oh my God. Oh my God. Thank you. Oh my God. I thought Roy G. Bibb, you know, RGB. Yeah. Like ring green blue. That's just wrong. Oh my God. I don't like the reason why it's called RGB is because there was a guy named Roy G. Bibb. Who came up with that? No. Yeah. RG. There's no way. There's no way. Damn. He was trying to clock me too. That's crazy. But that's what we landed on is Roy G. Bibb. Oh, Joe, come up with something clever. Please excuse my dear aunt Sally. That flows for them. They're like Roy G. Bibb. Yeah, but the thing is that no, we we still like until this day, Roy G. Bibb. You should be a you should be a you should be him for Halloween. Rainbow. But it's Roy G. Bibb. Do you know, Prandole? Oh, yeah, Prandole Park. Uh, reverse. And we wouldn't know. Prandole. If it wasn't for sweet life, is that encoding? Do you want to am? Oh, the boom. I don't know. I know. That's in sweet life. Yeah. He has Prandole behind him. What what station would you like to listen to? I'm more of them because it was her first time driving. She was doing the driving test. And she was just like abbreviating everything. She was just like, Oh, what about the what's the Prandole? But do you guys write? So, would you be of recognizes in to go, right? Yeah. Yes. Yeah. And then last one. Violet. There we go. Violet. You're turning violet. Gross beef and mashed potatoes. Save some for us. The life of pie. Was was there a reason why his name was pie in the movie? I just like the whole opening paragraph of that book of why his name is pie. Oh, I've never seen the movie or read the book. Or like I mean, the opening of the book, he's like going up to some chalkboard. I feel like my name is pie. It's not three points. I'm that sometimes something. He like does the whole fucking thing. I believe it. Is that the movie where he's on a boat with like a lion? Yep. A tiger. And that's real, right? You know what? And I swear. I've never seen that movie. I swear. I was going through one of my old moleskins from college where I wrote down what I did every day for like years. And I said, and I said, went to go see life is life of pie. And I'm like, I've never seen that. I blocked. I think I can recite every movie. I mean, we're call every movie. I've seen. Yeah. I don't remember anything in that. He goes by pie because his real name is pronounced pissing. Yes. A pie scene. I think. Yeah. So escape cruel school teasing that pronounced his birth name is pissing. Oh. Oh, yes. This is, yeah. This is the whole opening of the book in some. Yes. Wow. You see, I thought it was this like adventurous. So he was in school and then he traveled across the water with a lot. I know. I don't know. I don't remember. I thought this was reading the book. He read the opening of that book because he thought it was funny. Okay. I saw it like the cover for the, and my head was always like, oh, this is like an imagination type movie. You know, like those movies where it's just like he's imagining this adventure and like a surreal dream. Yes. I believe that's kind of the vibe of the book, but I don't. And I thought pie was a tiger. I feel like the tiger's drowning and he saves the tiger. And so it's this level of companionship of being dexas something that can kill you and him trying to save it. I think I don't, what we're talking way too much about life of pie and we don't know what day of thing. Yeah. But we're judging a book by its cover. Truly, truly. It's fun. It's fun to spec. Sometimes I wanted to do that is just like do a book call and only buy books that like I'm just, I'm doing a book call, only judging books by the cover and I'm going to read them. But if I had all the time in the world, or Matt, you should do one where you have all these books and you start like you name each book and say what it's about, but it's completely like wrong. Oh, it's just not what's in the book and just imagine everybody going like, yeah, there's some, there's some book talk influencers, people on book talk, who people call out other people. And they don't believe that they've read the book. Like book talkers that are like, oh my gosh, love this book. It's about this. Like this character. It fantastic greed. People like, I don't believe you read it because they wouldn't have like, it's something to start like that. And maybe some book talk influencers are reading too fast where they're like, how can you be reading that book? And then you just read this book and then you're reading another one unless you're devoting all your time to reading. It's, it's happened with like a few book talkers where he's, I'm doing a book call. You doing like a book because you're not a guy who reads like, I'm going to read as a guy who doesn't. No, I'm just gonna do a book call, like, hey guys, I read this one, I, I've read grapes a breath. I love this. I'm, I'm reading Moby Dick. I already see you. Matt, I already see your comment, though, I'm out of here. Damn lie. But I kind of want to see how far I can go with this like lie in one video, see if people like genuinely believe it. Participants discuss the importance of verifying products by checking genuine stores and real user experiences. They emphasize that some sellers may avoid commissions by not using the platform as a sales channel, and true authenticity is often confirmed through personal use and feedback.

High frame rates are described as feeling unnatural and like watching a video game, potentially causing eye strain. Users note that modern camera technology makes poor makeup and video quality easily visible, which can be off-putting and reduce the viewing experience.

Users find it valuable when non-influencers post content, especially if it's authentic and funny. They believe casual posts from friends or family are more genuine and enjoyable, and criticize the idea that such posts are cringey or inappropriate.

Users express concern about Amazon driver glasses that take thousands of photos of homes, calling it an invasion of privacy. They also question the necessity of such technology and suggest it could be used for surveillance without consent.

Users prefer under-eye creams like John Roth’s because they visibly reduce puffiness without causing irritation. In contrast, eye patches are noted to cause redness and irritation, requiring significant recovery time before daily activities can resume.
