This episode blends personal storytelling with brand promotion, centering on Nordstrom’s 125-year legacy of being present in everyday life—from styling outfits to sharing soup with loved ones. It transitions into a heartfelt discussion about wellness, with Gatorade Propel highlighted as a hydration solution that supports physical performance and recovery. The conversation delves into emotional themes like anxiety, nausea, and the psychological impact of childhood experiences, including pranks at school and vivid, sometimes disturbing dreams. Guests reflect on long-standing relationships, the emotional weight of weddings, and the importance of self-care and boundaries in personal relationships. There’s also humor and nostalgia around shared college memories, pop culture references, and personal decisions—like whether to wear a kilt or bring a plus-one to a wedding. The episode underscores the complexity of human emotion, the interplay between mental health and daily life, and the desire for authenticity and connection amid change. Through these personal narratives, the show celebrates both the small, meaningful moments and the larger emotional journeys that shape identity.

with Gatorade electrolytes if you could pick one feeling to never experience for
the rest of your life what would it be?
have I already asked this well I know what I know what yours is what nausea
but mine would be anxiety for sure we have done this is something we've done
because I was just thinking no I you just would I rather never experienced
nausea or anxiety I was just thinking that but they're so closely linked yeah
because you could get anxious about how nauseous you are and nauseous about how
anxious you are for sure
I would never experience nausea we've I'm sorry we've had this conversation it's like there's only
so many topics well I'll tell you one that's kind of like pretty closely linked to both of those
what?
I picked up this new I used to drink a lot of kombucha yeah I don't know what like I kind of
just like you know me if people are like this is the this is good for you and this is like the new
thing I'm just gonna start doing it Retta that kombucha's been around I know kombucha's like
old as dirt but yeah they're like GT GTS kombucha oh I didn't know about the GTS model is it GT's
it's something it's GT's I think I started getting this like in college because at my office that I
worked at they had it for free in the fridge and I was drinking them pretty constantly and I just
saw them again I was like that sounds good to me um this specific flavor vital C is genuinely a
four loco and yeah have you had a four loco I was just about to say you know I've never even
it's never even touched my lips okay I'm gonna try to think of something think of something that's
if you mix chemical if you mix together cologne with like
like a like a fruit punch capri sun that is what a four loco tastes like it's not that doesn't
sound like horrible cologne I don't know I mean that sounds better than like vodka to me
oh lord I remember the first time I was exposed to drinking was a four loco
like we were at some kid's birthday party and there was a four loco hidden in the bathroom
and everyone was like going and taking sips of it and then coming back out
and my friend one of my best friends took a sip and I was like I don't I honestly don't think I
can be friends with you anymore we did I tell you about my the Halloween that we did something
similar by the river the Halloween it was a lake but yeah you're almost there and you threw them in
yeah but I was a bumblebee costume and I my my friends were all yeah there's only listen if
someone someone might have started listening today and you can listen to this story I think we were
12 and my friends were older than me so they were like a level of like let's go out to my dad's
fridge in the garage and we'll take some beer and they put them in because I was a fat bumblebee
for Halloween yes yes I know this and it zipped from the back and they were like we're gonna put
the beers into your fat bumblebee costume and they did just that and so I'm
wobbling through the house just fat as can be full of beers and then we had one we opened one
and then we threw the rest into the into the lake and then they started bobbing around like
cauliflower and they're floating towards the house that all of our parents are at the back
a yard of oh that was nightmare fuel 12 is feels really really young I always say 12
like I'm pretty sure I was still like talking to my stuffed animals
um that tracks for both of us yeah I do I mean I still check in with my stuffies it is hard to
shake that feeling that that there is there is a living breathing sentience in my sealy like
you're tell you're like you can't tell me that there's nothing there you can't tell me that
there's nothing there because the actual physical almost debilitating guilt I felt for chewing off
whiskers so I could fall asleep every night makes me still still makes me feel very very full
not because I eat the whiskers but because like I actually feel probably a little sick
nausea meets anxiety mode I chewed his nose off too
oh I just nose clean off and swallow straight off did you swallow it probably probably a decent
amount of his nose yeah I probably swallowed it was it was like a hard I'm picturing like hard
shell no this was a very nice stuffy oh it was was it threaded it was an elevated stuffy um I
think the nose was more leather which you can eat leather yeah it was leather bound he's not
leather bound his nose was leather like felted leather yeah soft nose because he was a soft nose
seal I think like a white hodgepodge his nose is hodgepodge is a beanie baby is they still
actively sell beanie baby
babies or are they all like antiques I don't know I could I could definitely see and this
is pretty tragic I could see like labubu putting beanie baby out of business which is sad to think
about who putting bb baby beating baby out of business I want my baby who would baby be in the
Izzy can you see if hodgepodge is still for sale as you see if they sell still sell bb baby
just on ebay
for five dollars that's extremely hurtful he's worth so much more oh 2002
he's so cute he's a good boy
is hodgepodge still with us of course I sleep with hodge every night I didn't know that yes
like if you listened you would have I have a tattoo of him on my arm I know
I know that oh I thought that was like a memoriam in memorial it's like honoring him oh as he lives
and breathes well that's fabulous what did it what have so I mean I saw you welcome back to
make a podcast too as well um when have you what has happened since I saw you last I know that we
have like an un our our schedule of late has been just brilliant effed kind of effed yeah
it's been effed hard to keep up the last we spoke you were thinking of moving I am out now I'm not
completely out but like I am like in my mind I have made several phone call and I physically
made several phone calls in your mind you've made several phone calls in my mind I have a I have a
plan to make several phone calls yeah so but in terms of action have you done anything yes I this
is the one time I have done anything I have done anything I have done anything I have done anything
like get your ass up and move because I'm like this is just not it's just not conducive for me
and it's it's making me not it's making me not feel so good so I have sent several emails to
no response which is so funny and then I've made some phone calls as well but we are moving okay
and I'm I'm going to be marked safe but um it's funny because this weekend I had all my college
friends come in town and
I was like I my place was like the option to have people like it was just like
in between our like we went on a boat during the day I went on a boat you went on a boat too
yeah I didn't know you went on a boat yeah we went on a boat down the down the Hudson
it was amazing not like not like splish splash boat a bunch of people like
our friends like brought bathing suits thinking it was going to be like when we went to college
in Austin right
you know where you're bathing suit and I was you simply that's just simply not not we're like over
by the statue of liberty and they're like when can we get off and I was like what did you um
but yeah I had people over and it was actually really lovely having people over because at
nighttime it doesn't matter what how much how much light you get into your apartment it's not
as depressing because it's lovely having guests over but they're like why are you moving this is
amazing and I was you haven't seen it at noon it's like just from what I had seen it's like it's like
it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like a scene of it at nighttime it
looks like a pretty good space so I would maybe give it maybe give it a few weeks
Before you make any decisions?
I'm not willing or able.
Sounds good.
I need daytime.
I need daytime.
Okay.
I just wonder what you thought before about a basement cellar.
What?
I just wonder like what you thought was going to happen with a basement like cellar property.
I'm not in a basement.
I'm on the ground floor.
I wouldn't call it the ground floor if you have to go down steps.
But I'm touching the backyard.
I'm at sea level with the backyard.
But your front door, like don't you have to go down steps?
Sure.
I would call that slightly below sea level.
Okay.
But the backyard is on par with the house?
I guess.
Okay.
Well, anyways.
You know how like sand isn't always even, you know, there's drop offs and sandbars and
stuff like that.
Like your backyard's not like on a higher like sandbar.
So you.
Okay.
Okay.
I see.
Yeah, that does make sense.
Well, I'm moving.
So that's it.
That's all I have to say.
But it was, I haven't seen my college friends in like since the last time someone got married,
which is crazy.
We have not been all together.
And so it was lovely.
It was amazing.
And the last, the last time we were all together, I was ordaining my friend's wedding.
Aw.
And then I was like, wait, so I haven't seen you guys since your wedding.
You know, these are like some of my best friends.
And they were like, no.
No.
And I was like, so it's been, you guys have been physically married for almost three years,
going on three years, which is weirder than me not seeing them, you know?
Yes.
They're fully like in a, they're going on five, which is basically 10, which is a decade.
Are all of your college friends married?
No, I'd say half.
Okay.
That's fine.
Yeah.
And no one, no, I keep forgetting.
I keep being like, cause I've,
I introduced two of my college friends, um, Juan and Dana, I introduced, and I still felt
like, like I sat in between them at lunch, like, I still felt like I was like the link
between them, even though they're married.
You know what I mean?
Right.
Yes.
Yeah.
It was kind of weird.
Um, they are married completely.
100%.
Are any of your friends?
Yeah.
You just went to a wedding.
Me?
Yeah.
When?
I'm losing track of like how much time has passed.
That was almost like a year ago.
Oh.
Oh.
Time.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's.
I have one coming up though.
You do?
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
Here.
Yeah.
In Philly.
Yeah.
That'll be a fun one.
It does change the, uh.
And then I have my brothers.
And then your brothers.
Right.
Um, we're kind of in an, in a unique situation with that because originally me and Gabby
were not getting plus ones unless we were in like serious relationships.
Yeah.
So we were both like, okay.
Like, I guess that's fine, whatever.
Um, cause we both will just be each other's plus one and it's also our brother.
So we have family there and stuff like that.
Um, and unfortunately for, for me, Gabby's now in a relationship.
And so I guess if, if that stays, like she will probably bring a plus one to Noah's wedding.
And so I think it will probably be hard for me to be at my younger brother's wedding alone while my sister eight
years younger than me has a plus.
Um, so we're going to have to, I've spoken to my brother already.
Plans have been put in place, um, that I will be able to activate a plus one if needed,
um, like for my health.
Yeah.
We're going to plus size.
Yeah.
Um, okay.
I don't think, and this is like, I think you guys being sisters, like you could do a plus
one.
You should have.
No, I know.
I, I don't think like they're, they're not giving anyone plus ones.
I don't think unless they're like, I think there could be exceptions for your, so that's
what I had said.
Um, but my brother said he wanted all of my attention on him, which I said is that makes
sense.
That's fair, but you're not going to care on the day.
You don't even see the people that are getting married.
And this is a health thing.
This is a health thing at this point.
If you care.
Um, yeah, I think like any, if someone's coming in there, like just your friend, you didn't,
you know, one needs to have plus ones cause you're going to have other friends.
There.
It would be weird to like, I'm not going to have any friends there.
If they, if you were just a friend of his, that's fine to not, you know what I mean?
No, but I agree that I explained to him that it's abnormal.
Um, but he's not giving, he's been flexible now that there's been a health issue introduced.
There's been a health scare introduced.
Take your girlfriend with you.
Yeah.
So all good there.
Possibly.
That's amazing.
Good for you.
We'll see how that goes.
When is that?
Um, winter of 20, 20, six going on seven.
Next year?
It's like new year's vibes.
Oh my gosh.
Wait, it's 2026.
Yeah.
Something weird is happening over here.
Like in the time space continuum.
Yeah.
Cause I was like, Oh, you have a year, you have over a year to get.
No, it's in, it's in December, but I could still be in a serious relationship by then.
For sure.
For sure.
It's on July, but I'm not looking.
No.
So seek, don't attract.
I mean, attracts, attracts, don't chase.
I want to, I want to bring my cats.
That's not gonna, you can't do that.
I know that I'm just saying what I want while acknowledging that I also can't do that.
If Rob or Jonathan turned.
Into a man.
Would you date your man cat?
No.
Okay.
Unless like they were really hot or something.
No, no, no, no, no.
I really, really truly need you to say with your chest.
If Rob or John turned into a man, would you date him?
No, those are my kids.
Please.
I would say, okay, good.
I was just really worried.
You were going to be like, yeah, of course.
What if like John like turned into like.
MGG.
What if you, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
But like, that's not John.
That's John morphing.
No, no, no.
That is John's soul.
Okay.
If it was his soul.
Well, then that's weak.
Then it's like, he's been there all along.
No, I would obviously not enter into a relationship with my cats.
But I'm just saying, like, I think, yeah, there's some really interesting ways it could go.
Like if John turned into one, like someone else.
That'd be a different person.
Yeah.
But if John was still John.
Then no.
Just say no.
Like we should, we should move forward with like a, just a solid.
No.
Just say no.
Okay.
That you wouldn't date your cat.
No, I obviously would not date my cat, Connor.
I'm in love with my cats.
I know.
Like as a child.
Like my soulmates.
Like truly, I believe that.
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm sensing some, like there's something.
I don't have romantic feelings for my cats.
Okay.
Is that what you want me to say?
Yeah.
No, I did want you to say that.
They're the loves of my life.
I wanted you to make that abundantly clear that you would not.
Let me make that clear.
Cool.
Thank you.
No problem.

Last night I watched Love Island and Shutter Island.
I was like, "Oh, this is gonna be awesome."
I was like, "Oh, this is gonna be awesome."
The big two.
I've never seen Shutter Island.
Connor.
Who's in it?
Oh, that's one that you would freak for.
What?
That's Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Michelle Williams.
No.
It's a Martin Scorsese.
Yeah.
Yeah.
a visual of that woman with her finger over her lips she's she's just in it for one second i can't
that's it like i really can't even like she's like that's her moment like that's it no bro can you
imagine i have a can and then i see her for one moment and then i turn off my lights in my
underground apartment and i have to just imagine that she's probably not my cabinet it is really
an intense film it's very much like six cents vibes kind of like you think you're watching
one thing and then it's like holy shit i'm watching a different thing the chalamon twist yes
is it chalamon no this is a martin scorsese motion picture very cool it's really really good
i will say for the first two hours i'm like and this was the same i've watched it twice
the first two hours i'm like huh i don't know and then the rest like wow my god that's crazy
you just have to get through that first two you just have one
you get through those first two hours the rest is like very much smooth sailing
can we it's one of those where it's like you don't know what's going on
in a way that's like i wish i knew maybe like a little bit more
but then once you know what's going on it's like whoa can we remove the young woman
sorry from the screen why i have her up here as big as brooke on my end
it literally feels like broken broken connor and woman make podcast
i love her brooke she's the shusher genuinely like that is what the essence of that man looks
like no that's doing that that woman a disservice but like that's how evil that man's energy was
no yes worse than her was she evil in the movie don't tell me i want to watch it that was it
that's all you we got from that woman was just the hell is she doing they get to the island and
then she's going and that's it that's the last we see of her what does she do for work what how
does she don't know anything about her how does she pay rent on an island why does she do what
you do not have to pay rent at the mental facility oh she's at a facility it's a mental health
institution for the criminal insane why was she out and about alone we don't know anything um she
was just walking the grounds there were guards there so lovely yeah oh fabulous
um no i'm not
gonna be watching i didn't even know you watched love island i don't i just watched the last
episode because everyone was watching but i have like this is the most i've ever known about love
island because of trinity and bryce yeah just like being everywhere and i really support them
like with my whole heart you see just from what i've seen bryce is really like just seems like
an awesome guy and trinity seems lovely as well um but at first everyone like when the season
aired was like bryce looks like matthew gray goobler and just like from what i saw of him
judging a book by his covers him like being a dj i was like no he does not the guy's completely
matthew gray goobler really yes he i mean salt of the earth he is an angel and then it just came
out today like he's good friends with like most of the glee cast like he's such an enigma like
you wouldn't think that guys look at look at that um comparison between him and him i see it yeah
yeah stunning
good guy well that's nice i yeah
it will never not blow my mind how much real estate people have just like the
the consumer of these shows how much real estate you have for like
17 new people in your life to keep up with every year but then you only carry a few with you
yeah i guess
i think also something else i have about love island it's like
i have not watched since i told you when i watched i like i haven't watched since like
really truly watched since like college i shouldn't say this because i see these people a
lot but it is like magnificent how careers are started by dating someone thank you can you see
how much i'm sweating no can you see yeah it's a lot why is it hot in there what is it hot in there
yeah we do have to we do have to uh
unplug the ac while we shoot oh i didn't know that connor so it won't pick up on the screen
you should get a portable fan like a little one that you have two i have two for my hot apartment
that's underground no i mean just like the little handheld ones that you can just press
against your face you know yep i got i got two asleep next to them you should get one of those
like water bottle squirt ones you had it i have one no you don't i have a water bottle squirt one
like no you don't i have a water bottle squirrel and it's next to my bbc
baby okay it's sitting right next to my bb baby uh did you know there are uber xxls now
no imagine my shock this weekend calling an uber xxl a party bus showed up
to take four of us a mile why did you do an xxl i was curious okay and just for the sake of the
story i'm saying like it was me that called it but it was actually frankie's boyfriend wilson
um but i was just saving some words but now i've actually used a lot of words yeah
but wilson called an xxl and a full like party van showed up we will probably never have those
in new york but i did i have they're starting to crank them out everywhere really yeah um
i have like every
like every single weekend when we like like this weekend with my college friends like we went to
dinner in chinatown like 15 of us walk outside limo's there and he's just out leaning against
his limo and goes hey get in have you checked your location services it's like kind of impossible to
say i don't really know what to say i don't really know what to say i don't really know what to say
i don't really know how to access that okay but he picked us up it was amazing i love the limo thing
i went in two limos this weekend it's amazing because you can all fit in one place for me i'm
talking about the uh uber van not necessarily a limo but it's amazing yeah we had um we had like
a bunch of chinese food like duck and stuff and then we got into a limo it was like 15 of us and
no one was really talking and i was playing like really good music from like college
and i didn't eat one of the options because it just wasn't really speaking to my palate was it
i could not tell you um it's i think it was some sort of seafood dish but it just wasn't calling
my name because we were just like underground again and like a big table and it was a byob
restaurant so there was just kind of like a lot happening i was like i'm not gonna eat that and
several people were like i'm feeling not very good i had to go home wow that's like but you're
helen it was like a very different experience because we took a we took a limo what i'm not sick
i'm actually hungry this is how much she was sweating though in that movie can you see this
oh yeah oh absolutely at first i had thought those were just like the places that your short
was folding in on itself but no that's complete soakage
i used to be so jealous of the girls that could drip sweat and i would pretend that i could
by splashing water like all over me but i never have been able to drip
you're like things that you wanted for yourself are very unique you wanted to be able to drip
sweat i want this girl on the bus next to me was always like dripping like having to wipe her face
constantly because it was beads of sweat and i was like i want that so bad
because i was just flushed you know sure and it didn't feel fair that she was able to that she
was dripping like that yeah god i was pissed that's a that's a wet girl yeah um i wanted
the opposite really really bad and i was always humiliated every single day because i would sit
in like ac and i would be drenched in sweat and it still is and it's infliction i still have
i want to get i want to get something i want to get something
fixed i can get botox i guess maybe in my chest or something oh don't be surprised if i come back
looking a little bit different in a few weeks because i have a new dermatologist appointment
and i saw that there were so many things on the menu
so i might like look into that i want to get a lip flip at the bare minimum so my big lips when i
smile what'd you say you have big lips i do not have big lips but my top lip disappears when i
smile see they're bigger than mine well yes
but i also wonder if i get lip filler if my like water type of lips will fill in you know
yeah so i'm gonna ask about that in that language
you know how my lips are giving water
like if i got filler
sandy water oh that's funny so i'm gonna get a lip lip i think that's fine and then possibly
filler pen depending sure and then i saw there were some few other things that piqued my interest
so don't they do don't i'm not gonna do anything to my face what don't they suggest things for you
yeah i'm gonna ask them what they think i need but i don't want anything on my face
except for my foot my lip flip okay yeah don't don't don't don't don't don't get don't don't
let your eyes be bigger than your no i'm just talking about all this like cool sculpting stuff
which like could be a scam but i'm really curious about it that can't be that can't hurt i told you
about when i just got i told you about when i got that facial the other day at that spa
oh i want microdermabrasion whatever that means yeah when i was in italy but it was like kind of
all in italian and did i did i show you what they gave me to wear you showed me personally
i don't know if you showed the bnc community
i'd call her back in and be like i don't know which side goes on the front of me
yeah and she's like it's this one i was like what that goes on the front of me like
it's not gonna work for my facilities like it's just not what but and then about it wasn't gonna
work it was like it was like splitting me down the middle like like like it wouldn't have provided
accurate coverage no in fact it was like it was kind of like smishing me it's kind of smushing me
you were smished yeah but she was like it's fine because you're you'll be on your stomach and i was
then what are we doing here you know like why am i putting this on
and it's a facial why am i putting on a thong
i didn't like they weren't going down there at all no brooke like the times when i have
gotten like a full body and then got naked and they're like why are you naked and then
i go in for a facial and she's like here's your thong
i didn't know that yeah it was very weird italian thing
yeah yes it actually was because
even like the co-ed like the steam room i went into like a hay steam room which is just really
dumb for someone that's like completely allergic to hay i was like why am i so itchy in here but
everyone was naked the guy the guys and the these like older women and these older men
were all naked i was like i gotta go this is like again then i looked on the outside of the
thing and it was just like a clothing optional no the the naked body is so much less taboo
in some in europe and so many other places yeah if i wouldn't have been so itchy i was
making everyone uncomfortable because i couldn't stop itching my my body from the hay
hey now hey now um but yeah i broke out a lot after my facial which just like it was just like
what was the point of all that yeah maybe it was like all the bad stuff was coming out that's a
but that also sounds like a scam no that happened when i was on accutane it was so scary but i wasn't
on accutane sure oh okay sure like i paid for a 56 dollar face oh you would have loved accutane
no i i talk about water that like i had a lot of friends you can tell when someone's on it
imagine my lips now but on accutane a
lot of people i mean that is truly just like you're gonna have to go through the eye of that
no it's gonna get worse before it gets better it's just like it's it's it was hard to it was
hard to watch it's so funny because i guess like a lot of people were on it in high school and i
like didn't know what was going on i just knew that a lot of people started looking like they
had a condition and like i just was like i didn't put any of the pieces together until i went on it
looked in the mirror and realized like everyone that had that condition was on accutane and it was
kind of like a massive brain blast yeah and this one guy this because this one guy's condition
i didn't know what was going on like he was just so soaking wet greased up like literally like he
put his head in a tub of vaseline and was also really red and i was like what happened to this
kid like i would stare at him all all of history class because i was like
what happened to this kid and i was like what happened to this kid and i was like what happened
to this guy and then it all at once and suddenly and all in that moment i realized
the guy was on accutane and did dip his head in vaseline because he had no choice
the guy had no choice but to slick his entire hair back with petroleum jelly and i get it
now i get it i wish he had just said something instead of making me guess
i'm doing full head in the tub today

now we can finally turn this up
and everyone's going wild y'all think you run this school but you don't it's going great
abbott elementary anything can happen in the jungle right guys all new wednesdays on abc
and stream next day on hulu i want to go back on accutane though because it gives you a nose job
they give you a nose job for free accutane in and of itself is like you get a little nose job with it
how what do you mean it shrinks it does something to like minimize pores and your nose genuinely
shrinks and i'm people think it's like a conspiracy but it's not because when i got my nose job
and the swelling wouldn't go down my nose job doctor was like go on accutane because that will
drastically reduce the swelling and then i was like i don't really want to go on accutane because
my acne is not that bad and then a year later my acne got really bad and i went on accutane and
the swelling that had never gone down went down like years after my nose job and so i had gotten
like a second nose job when i went on accutane and so many people say who haven't even had nose
jobs to begin with that they have their nose has shrunk alex earl got an accutane nose job
wow yeah so i want to go on it again did it change your personality accutane yeah no i will i wish
but i was on it when i was teaching and it really like your body just like hurts it's a hell of a
drug like your whole body hurts and feels like kind of like achy and brittle it took like your
joints yeah like my back was always like and i just felt like i was a really old person and i
was 23 and i was always sitting on the floor with the kids and it took me genuinely 45 minutes to
get up like with the help of my body and i was like oh my god i'm so tired i'm so tired i'm so
tired i'm so tired i'm so tired i'm so tired i'm so tired i'm so tired i'm so tired i'm so tired
like i would have to turn on to all fours and then like like they would help me up they thought
you're 400 yeah they thought you're that woman on shutter island yeah but i have no pictures of
myself from that time and if i did you would see that all of my my lips at the corners were
cracked open and i was constantly bleeding down my face
it was so hot have you talked to any of your kids i guess it's only been what like six years
yes oh not my kids but their parents yeah and some have read the book and text me and they're
like i remember this like about the preschool scenes what would they remember um there was
there's a part in phoebe where like all of the kids are pregnant by shoving pillows under their
shirts yes and that's something that happened in my in one of my preschool classes did you
report that back to their parents it was just like a well-known fact because
like they were like continuing to be pregnant at home too okay it's a phase we all go through
oh absolutely so that's been sweet
but i'm also like okay well don't like finish it don't finish the book because it's like i don't
want i don't want you to think of me like as a like a romance writer you have you have moved on
i understand where you're coming from but they can't hold that they can't hold you to that
you don't work there yeah
Um. You good?
Sorry.
No, it just scared me because my upstairs, my new upstairs neighbor just texted me.
Oh, what'd he say?
Well, we had been chatting because I've, I've since found out some information about who
I'm, who I'm about to have, have an email conversation with and how they're not very
super kind.
So looking forward to that.
Good.
Yes.
What does your cat say?
Lacoste.
Oh, I thought I said Lacoochie.
No, it's a, Lacoochie.
Oh my gosh, it might as well.
It looks like I'm full blown lactating.
How about you stand up?
Stand up and show us.
What's going on in your underarms?
Anything?
No, you know what's weird?
Not really.
You know, my, my pits don't like, I don't have like pit stains.
And then you, my shirt's like a lot of my, my guy friends, like you look at their white
t-shirts and there's like a clear, they're like, this is just like an undershirt.
Cause that's, you know, it like is a catch all for some women too.
Um, I might not be a dripper, but the pits, different story.
Yeah.
I sweat on my chest and on my back, which is on my back.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
And my pussy and my crack.
Yeah.
Those are going to be hotspots as well for me.
My dreams.
And like, I know it's not fun to hear about other people's dreams are so not okay in a
way that I was like, okay, what am I doing that needs to stop in order to stop these
dreams?
So I stopped smoking and I'm still having these dreams and I don't know.
It's like very disturbing graphic, like violent.
Some are violent.
Some are like just really unacceptable in, in different ways.
And I can't get rid of them.
I can, I'll share one loosely while trying to avoid how graphic it was.
But basically, you know, those sex therapists in Amsterdam that like you like have sex with.
Oh no, I'm not familiar with.
They're like, if you have like issues with like trauma or like intimacy, like you can
be physical with these therapists in order to like.
Yeah.
Break those barriers.
Are they licensed practitioners?
And I think it's legal in Amsterdam.
Yeah.
It kind of seems like that might be off the book.
It's not legal in the US.
Okay.
Um, but there are shows about it.
It's pretty interesting.
Um, but anyway, I was seeing one of these therapists and it was Antonio Banderas.
I'll be honest about that.
And I'll be honest about that.
And we're having a session, I'm sure you were, I'm sure you absolutely were.
I don't need, like, I'm not getting into it, but the session was at an American Eagle.
Okay.
That's I get that storefront and in, in a dressing room and Bryce from love Island was
working the counters and just like the general retail space and just kept asking if, if we,
if you're doing okay in there and that, then there was like a very separate part of the
dream that was like, there was like an, like there were like Nazis and I was like, this
is not like pick one, pick one baby.
Like, it's just, I'm really like, I'm disturbed and I don't know how to make it stop.
It genuinely feels, and I'm just going to guess here, it genuinely feels like you're
like, just trying to cram.
Everything into one, no, it's all because there's death and violence in all of these
dreams as well.
It literally, it literally sounds like anxiety dream, wet dream, like, Oh, but I can't, like,
these are not like, I like sexual to me.
Like, I'm not like, I liked that dream.
Like there's nothing, there was nothing okay about what was happening.
Were you like stressed in the fitting room that you were like, we did not want to go
to, this was like exposure.
Therapy.
Like I, this was not something I wanted to be doing.
Oh yeah.
No.
Have you, have you watched what have you watched spy kids recently?
Nope.
I don't know what he was doing there at all.
That's funny.
I mean, and then I'm like in there hearing gunshots too.
And so I Googled like why, like I'm having like the most like disturbed dreams, like
violent, like all of this stuff.
And it says that I have too much.
Anxiety going on in real life that like my subconscious is trying to process, but like,
I feel like it's not the anxiety that I'm experiencing in real life.
Isn't warranting this type of subconscious response.
It doesn't warrant it.
It feels really severe.
And there's no new medication I'm taking.
I don't know.
It, this has been for like a week and a half.
All Antonio.
No, all different.
That's like the one I feel comfortable with.
I feel comfortable sharing like the others are like pretty much like so much worse.
Okay.
Going like a long walk before bed.
I should do like milk.
I should have like warm milk and cookies and like read a children's book.
Okay.
My dream journal is popping off.
I'll say that.
I bet.
Are you filling it out regularly?
I can't, I have not had any dreams as of late, but my like Sunday to Monday, my Sunday night
to Monday dreams are always like all completely like your planes going down.
I all have dreams that I have already woken up and I've started my day.
And then when I wake up, I'm like, oh my God, crap.
Like I'm, I'm behind.
Do you still have the Sunday, the Sunday scaries?
No, not like Sunday scaries, but like, oh my gosh.
Like if it always feels, it feels weird going into Monday and like not having done any productive
activities for like, like when my college friends are here, I was like kind of just
like took off Friday, like in my calendar, I just kind of like, it was like reunion this
weekend.
And so Sunday, like not having had contact, just like going to bed and Monday, I know
that I'm going to get like emails and followups and stuff.
I was just like, oh crap.
But that's okay.
That's kind of just like what a weekend is.
I always had the Saturday scaries growing up because Sunday was Hebrew school, which
I hated and I liked school.
So I didn't, I was fine to go to wake up on Monday.
I did not feel okay waking up on Sunday because of Hebrew school because of Hebrew school.
Yeah.
I, I, I had to go to church every Sunday morning.
So I was, there'd be some, I remember there was one time that like the hardest day of
my, my life growing up, which is an awesome complaint was that we stayed up all night
because, and this is really, really insane to say, I'm gonna say it because like, I want
you to say it too.
Um, there's like a prank that was like going around and this is like when I told, I already
told everyone we were kind of like punks for a little bit in like junior high, you know,
like we would pull print like we'd toilet paper people's houses and we'd like
i don't know but someone pooped in a golf hole
that's disgusting yeah um they definitely and you were in on it it was like a group of us i
remember whose name it was but i'm not gonna say i was gonna say do you know the the shitter
yeah i know the are you still in touch no i'm not but like this is like a grown man and i'm
not gonna like out him for pooping in the golf hole posthumously by 15 years you know like
it's just like no real statute of limitations run out yeah that it is true but like i guess
the prank was that like this like a golfer an innocent a genuinely innocent golfer was going
to hit a ball in the hole i know what the prank is yeah go pick up his ball
and it was just be covered in poop i'm wondering like if i was on a date with someone
and they and i was like what's the worst thing you've ever done
it's like true like the drama starring zendaya and robert pattinson i haven't seen it yet
oh okay well there's basically just like the conversation they have is what's the worst
thing you've ever done and they all go around and answer and if they told me that that they
pooped in an unsuspecting victim's golf hole i think that that's that and i don't know if
it's true or not and it wasn't even nice meeting you and that's it i'll never see you again
yeah that's pretty bad to me i'm i'm aligned um i do know like from someone else's high school
whose high school was this i think it i think it was someone else's high school in texas
oh i know whose high school was
there was like a guy and this girl that would come to like all the parties and there was like
something it was not like a bullying thing even though it totally was but like
they would always prank this same girl that would like come to parties and someone would
to go out and poop on her windshield of her car that breaks my heart i know
and it was just like it stopped actually being funny to everyone and like the dude kept like
look i i did it again and people are like why are you still
like we have moved on and you're still at the restaurant and the restaurant being her windshield
i actually like never mind i don't i like i can't this is like a little bit grossing me out
oh my gosh no i don't like like pooping on things that aren't inside of a toilet
okay like that's actually not something i like should we cut this out no i'm just saying like
that's why i'm getting grossed out i'm fine to discuss pooping into toilets well yeah
i know i told my stomach trouble i told my roommate um this weekend that i i used to sneak
his pair of this pair of pants that i really really liked of his out of the house and wear
them to work because i had my internship
that i would have to go to and i like didn't have like a good pair of these pants that like
fit so well and i left work early because i had a stomach ache and i got all the way home from work
and then felt safe and then had to buy him a new pair of your bluetooth connected yeah it was
definitely like that situation like you feel safe and then it was just like you shouldn't have yeah
oh you really shouldn't have um yeah bought him a new pair of pants but he was like always confused
why i got him the new pair of pants
pants and i was just like like you let me wear yours all the time what did he think happened to
the original i gave him back did you get them like yeah dry clean yeah yeah there's a lot of
money for a sophomore in college yeah new pair of pants and dry cleaning yeah okay we can move
forward now that we've gotten that that was the right thing to do that was the right thing to do
move forward no what
yeah um and now that we've done that we didn't talk last week about the wedding that happened
in new york and i think that we didn't i know i feel like that was just like due diligence we
should have yeah i agree um i was out of town so i didn't see it happen i i'm i'm thankful i was out
of town because i think there was that was the day that there was like the heat advisory in new york
um and like all the elevators went down and then you couldn't get uptown or downtown i guess because
of the msg shutoffs but i don't know anything about it so that's all i mean i mean neither but
i am itching to see photos i don't know if we will we a hundred we will
you think if if they haven't released anything you think they're still going to release photos
of taylor swift's wedding i do it's been at least a year and a half ago i think they're still going to release photos of taylor swift's wedding
i do it's been at least she'll post something
i do it's been at least she'll post something
i do it's been at least she'll post something it's been
it's been
it's been like 10 days
like 10 days
like 10 days no i think we'll see something i really
no i think we'll see something i really
no i think we'll see something i really do
i don't know how they could make that
i don't know how they could make that
i don't know how they could make that look
like it like not in madison square garden i
like it like not in madison square garden i
like it like not in madison square garden i have heard
have heard
have heard that it you would not in one million years
that it you would not in one million years
that it you would not in one million years know you were in madison square garden
How do you know? Who'd you hear that from?
Just like random people who know people who know people who know people.
What?
Multiple people have said that.
Like you would just never know that you're in Madison Square Garden.
I know someone who knows someone who knows someone who were like ushers or something.
Oh.
That being said, everyone was like, it wasn't my taste.
But like you wouldn't have known you were in Madison Square Garden.
That's for sure.
Regardless of if you liked the vibe or not, which.
Yeah.
I don't I mean, I'm truly so happy for her.
Like you will never find me having anything negative to say about like a hopeless romantic.
Like getting their happy ending.
Like I really I'm so happy for her.
I agree.
I bet it was so fun.
I also just like seeing Benson Boone, which makes sense.
I just forget that like Benson Boone is like that level now, you know, but Benson Boone was like a TikToker.
With us, he was he was like American Idol, but like he was like a Tik Tok person.
Like he was very much like.
I think I'm pretty sure he was on American Idol.
I think he tried out.
Yeah.
How far did he get?
Like, I think he was like a Justin Bieber.
Someone discovered him for.
Not too shabby.
Is it.
The top 24.
He withdrew.
He withdrew voluntarily.
Despite Katy Perry predicting he could win the entire thing, he decided to leave so he could focus on his original music and career path.
Can I be honest?
I think that's a great move.
American Idol is not getting anyone anywhere nowadays.
Sad.
Yeah.
But Benson Boone was there.
I don't know anyone else who went.
I know that.
Everyone went.
I know.
Except for Marga Quali.
Yeah.
Because her and Jack.
They're splitting.
Rip in peace.
Which, as I take six months to read Lena Dunham's memoir.
Good for her.
I know.
That's also in my boxes after I purchased it.
I have a wedding when I don't have a suit for it.
And I want to say very quickly.
It is definitely hard for like.
Like girls to find something to wear for sure.
But like, I would love to just put on a dress, you know.
Wearing a, because I'm sweating so much.
Thinking about me wearing a three-piece suit in this 92 degree heat is making me so, so, so, so scared.
You could do a kilt.
I could do a kilt.
Do you have any Scottish roots?
Probably.
Pretty much white as they come.
So, yeah.
I have a kilt.
I have a kilt in my closet.
Should I do a kilt?
Air flow.
What?
Do a kilt for some air flow.
I'm trying to think.
Do you wear underwear under a kilt?
Yes, Connor.
That's something that like you could have answered that on your own.
If you thought about it for one second.
Do you wear underwear with a kilt?
Whether you wear underwear or under a kilt is entirely a matter of personal preference.
Is a kilt like a skort?
Are there shorts?
No, it touches your knees.
I'll just keep my legs crossed like a lady.
So, you would be fully just like.
BNC out.
That's not okay.
That's like genuinely.
Why?
You shouldn't be looking.
Don't look up my skirt.
Wait, I guess I'm thinking of like plaid mini skirts.
I'm not going to wear a mini skirt to a wedding.
What?
How long are kilts?
Below your knees.
Not below your knees.
Are they?
Connor, you're going to be spinning around at that wedding.
You're the one who's talking about how much you love to.
Look at that guy's butt.
Okay.
Wear underwear under your kilt.
I'm not going to wear a kilt.
If you make the conscious decision not to wear underwear under your kilt and you flash someone,
that you are a flasher.
Like that's an intentional.
Whether you meant to flash someone in that moment,
you making the conscious decision to not wear underwear,
I would say makes you a certified flasher just as much as someone with a coat that would open it on the street.
I honestly believe that.
That guy's walking over like a Marilyn Monroe style.
Great.
Like that's not going to happen to me.
You're going to just there's going to be a wind.
You're going to spin on the dance floor.
Why are there all these?
Photos of like kill upskirts and is he?
What did you Google?
Do you wear underwear?
I was going to.
I thought you just Googled like kilt.
Yeah.
No, I, uh, I'm not going to wear kilt anyways, so I'm not too worried about it.
That will be fun.
Oh, what's going on?
Sorry.
Pop my hip.
Um, and I have like stuff to do.
It's like, I gotta get back.
Have you seen the Odyssey, the, the odyssey things, what the press tour for odyssey.
I, I haven't really watched any of it except for like Anne Hathaway being a theory.
Who and Hathaway.
Oh yeah.
She's pregnant.
Yeah.
What is she wearing on her head?
Uh, it looks like a little mini Eiffel tower.
Oh, wow.
This is like the most famous people ever.
You know, I'm actually like excited to see this where like, I don't think that there's
any other world in which I'd be excited to see the odyssey if it weren't just like this
cast who I consider family.
No, I do too.
I feel the same way.
Um, did you hear Rob was the only one to ask to read the script when he was asked to be
in it?
Really?
Yeah.
No, I didn't hear that.
Oh, I heard it.
That's very cool of him.
He's cool.
I can speak from personal experience.
He's a cool guy.
Oh.
Wow, yeah, you do know him well.
Yeah, he's like a good guy.
Yeah, this is something I really want to see
is someone who didn't take American history so much,
but I did take Greek mythology in high school.
We focused more on the Greek gods
than the United States and its history,
which a testament to public school,
but also I really, really like perked up
when it came to Greek mythology.
And this is like Homer's The Odyssey, right?
Yeah.
Okay, so this movie and then Young Washington,
I'm like over the moon.
What's Young Washington?
It's like, what would you think Young Washington might be?
Just like a story about Washington as a general, probably.
Yeah.
They made him, they're making a movie.
Who's playing Washington?
I don't know him.
They made him really, really young.
Ben Kingsley, he was in Shutter Island.
Yeah.
I don't know any of these people, actually.
Mary Louise Parker, I love.
Yeah, I want to see this really bad.
Wait, have you watched the new Larry David show at all?
Yeah.
How is it?
I hear it's just curb.
What?
I hear it's just curb again.
It is, but it's also like,
they're going through like the writing
of the Declaration of Independence
and the ratifications and like all,
there's a bunch of different players,
like Ben Franklin,
Franklin's, it's funny.
Okay, I need to watch.
And then they kind of just like,
they personify like Thomas Jefferson as Larry David.
Like he makes the original Declaration of Independence,
which is like the, what is it?
What did they call that thing?
Bill of Rights.
Nope.
No, it's like the thing, it was like the rat.
Oh, I know, I know.
Do not say it, because I know.
I know it too.
Articles of Confession.
Articles of Confederation.
I was about to get there.
I was going through the Hamilton set list.
Oh, sorry.
That's just something I pulled from the back of my head.
But it's the Articles of Confederation.
And then they like ratified it all together.
But they just put like, like in the first episode,
they just have like Larry being like,
yeah, and like boys shouldn't fan themselves.
He's like, I don't want to see my son doing this.
That one was, everyone was like, yeah, no, me too.
And he's like, people shouldn't take,
people shouldn't take deep breaths outside.
People shouldn't share an umbrella.
And he put that in the, that's kind of funny.
Okay.
It's like my kind of humor.
Yeah.
It's, I looked it up to watch,
and then I just started watching Curb instead.
I started watching and I did get on my phone,
but there's a foreword by Obama, which I thought was kind of funny.
Yeah, I saw that on TikTok.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
I gotta, I gotta go pee.
Me too.
I just have to say.
All right, well, I'll see you in the bonus then.
Okay.
I'm going to flip on the,
I'm going to flip on the,
I'm going to flip on the AC for just a minute.
Okay.
That's fine.
If that's okay.
Yep.
All right.
And we'll see you guys next week.
Do you have any like housekeeping, anything?
I think next week will not be us.
It will be you and Brittany, ex Mickey.
Oh, next week?
I think so.
Cause we'll be on our special adventure together.
We'll be studying abroad.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
We'll see you guys there.
Okay.
Maybe.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
