The Week 6 Fantasy Mistakes You Can't Afford to Make | Fantasy Focus

The episode focuses on key fantasy football game previews for Week 6, emphasizing matchups, injuries, and player performance trends. Caleb Williams’ return to the Bears is highlighted as a major development, offering a strong fantasy opportunity, especially for pass-catching targets. The Bears’ wide receivers, including Jalen Waddle, are under scrutiny due to inconsistent production and poor target volume, making them low-priority fantasy assets. On the Broncos side, Jake Lock is expected to see heavy usage in a high-volume matchup, though defensive pressure limits confidence in his fantasy ceiling. The Eagles’ backfield is in disarray due to multiple injuries and poor performance, with Damien Pierce seen as a risky flex option. In Philadelphia, Jalen Coker is still projected as a top-two receiver despite a three-week absence, driven by early-season success and offensive trends. The analysis also critiques real-life team decisions—such as the Broncos trading for Waddle—highlighting how poor offensive strategy can negatively impact fantasy outcomes. The hosts stress volume and consistency as key principles, urging fans to prioritize players with proven usage and matchup advantages. Ultimately, the episode underscores that fantasy success hinges not just on talent, but on understanding how real-world decisions translate into fantasy performance.

[MUSIC] What's all friends welcome into fantasy focus football pump to be here with my best friend field Jates and a guy he knows name might play excited about this one on a Thursday Mike what are you wearing over there wearing my it's a luncheon season right wearing my Leslie nope 2012 he sure a little foreshadowing on something we're going to get into a little later I like that I was late on parks and wreck and I got I definitely felt some FOMO when people wouldn't make make parks and wreck references or jokes and I was like I don't really know what they're saying but I have to tell you the ability to watch that show non-stop in a very short period of time brought me so much joy yes oh my god it's so good it's a great dopamine hit if you just want to put on a fun show and laugh and have a good time it's unbelievable. I think Michael Sher put his name on agreed amazing a guy that has a sports background as well was yes there go Morgan so can tremendous so we love him one of my my favorite people like at the crazy content he's unbelievable he's our favorite sports actually I would agree so that's okay okay on today's show we got a bunch to get into obviously week six game previews part one we're going to do the rest of the game previews tomorrow as well we're going to dive into a bunch of them today and a quick shout out to our friends over at trophy smack use the promo code trophy week six for 10% off your order over there grab yourself a belt or a turnover chain and first and foremost guys before we get into anything else a little bit of news. Yeah I got some news just to dive in Mike true or false we do not have to watch to a tongue of I loa throw passes for the Atlanta felkins on Sunday sounds like that is true barring a surprising step back what's like Michael Pender will be under center. I get on track to look at that you're talking about a bunch of Michael so far do you think I was teed up on this yeah if I got Michael junior on the screen and Mike Michael Clay there that's Michael junior as well so yeah look he's going to star and again we I forget which team we were talking about yesterday in this regard but it's pretty straightforward you know like we're always maybe but it was like you know the line of blocks you know he I think was Baltimore we were talking about today and Derek Henry same kind of thing is John Robinson no matter what you're firing him up Drake London no matter what you're firing him up and I don't think there's really any other conversations right now we'll talk about Kyle pits a little bit later and if he's trending toward startable but he's not in the top 12 just yet he's not there Michael Pennix doesn't run enough to be as fantasy starter right now not to mention they are running the ball a lot especially near the goal line so it's pretty straightforward he got two line up blocks from Atlanta and that's it yeah more than anything it just means the Drake London's values you feel good about it what it was right that's the most important part here is just yeah we saw what it looked like with Cooper rush for two weeks to I think would be better than that but certainly not as good as we have seen it be with Michael Pennix over the past two weeks three weeks now three weeks yeah a little bit more news though it looks like we are officially going to have Caleb Williams fingers crossed center center as well field yes that was that Caleb's going to play he he not only was a full participant in an estimated practice report yesterday for the Bears but I am told buyer producer Addison that he has changed his Instagram profile picture to John well that's huge okay obviously it's a damn mean it certainly sounds like lock it in there we go Caleb Williams is coming back I'm inevitable sounds like he is ready to return a couple things here so for Caleb it's good news for us as we discussed the quarterback rankings because Caleb played awesome in week one he's a dazzling talent with both passing and rushing ability it is not totally a swage our concerns over the past catchers as we discussed yesterday we need we're going to give these guys a little bit more leash it's rare that you can be in week six yeah and have not one not two but three guys on the same team all disappointing and say you know what we'll give them a little bit more time but I think given the context of the Bears quarterback room that the three past catchers we care about get I'm going to go with two more games because it's Sunday and then Thursday they put the Patriots next week so a 10 day I guess from now a seven day run with two Bears games that will be the last chance for these three guys to prove they deserve to be anywhere close to our starting yeah because remember these guys Luther Bernan had one big game Roma Dunes a two weeks ago had a fine game in like 95 yards no touchdown close to love one hasn't really done much nothing exactly and none of none of those even like flirting with good games are with Caleb Williams we haven't seen it since last season none of them have had a good game with him so you're right we have to see it this week it's big big opportunity here big opportunity another big opportunity tonight guys let's talk about some Thursday night football Seahawks and Broncos made a list what'd you make a list of field oh you can do the lineup blocks and I'm gonna make a list after that lineup blocks for Seattle a manual Wilson love that and Jackson Smith and Jake legends of their franchises absolutely you're not wrong about that the Denver Broncos don't have a single person in their lineup block list weeks in a row so here's my list my list is the two things that I'm most looking forward to tonight one I guess these are whatever they're tied for first okay one a one b one and one number one the uniform yes me too fantastic uniform magic I mean this is as good as it gets old Broncos love the Broncos orange crushed throwbacks forgive me I don't know what those see hocks throwbacks are actually called you know it's also a cool about this is that they used to be in the same division yeah when they were wearing these units right yes it's kind of cool so it's like a double throwback all right so one is the throwback uniforms one is also Jackson Smith and Jake yes about it I love watching that guy play and he's off the not that he's off the injury report he I don't think we were concerned about him missing but just for those that saw a cue next to his name on Monday and Tuesday I believe that cue has now been removed he will play quickly about the other guy because there's only one of the lineup lock really fast on the see hocks Zach Charbonne has been limited at practice 21 day window has opened up yep so he has been practicing they're not still not expected to play tonight but something to watch for that I would actually if he has not been added still off of your waivers I would go out and grab now before he plays that game and you have to fight everyone next week for a familial Wilson is a line up lock imagine what's actually a month from now when he's back up to assuming he can get back up to speed that's not lock for sure but if he can get there and be an effective player remember there's no can walk her to the third year anymore there's a chance for sharpening to really expand what he was doing last year and Daniel talks to me about the see hocks running back room for tonight then a manual Wilson makes it as a lineup lock virtual money back at practice okay would your confidence level though in manual Wilson medium to medium low like a stake almost kind of well sort of yeah medium rare because I've are I'm already in the like low territory with him like he's not a guy that we think is unbelievable but he has such the ball a bunch 20 plus touches in three of his last four games back to back games with at least 13 fantasy points and a touchdown yeah the Broncos defense has allowed at least 12 and a half fantasy points to a running back in every single game this season they've allowed the fourth must rushing yards to running backs the reason why it's medium to medium low is just because it's a manual Wilson I think yeah wait wait where do you have him ranked I have them in the teens he's like yeah that's medium to medium low for me he's still running back he's an RB two but like he's not like jumping up super high in my RB two rankings but of course like we've been saying every other week until someone else comes back he is the guy in this backfield we're going to keep relying on yeah I love the outlook the usage has been massive he's pushing 20 touches a game he had a receiving touchdown I believe last week or the week before four yeah so the guy has been very busy and he's this is I mean make a list of better situations for a running back especially when you're getting handling over half the team's carries I mean Seattle's where you want to be they last year they led the my phone running back to spot the son Rob it's a great situation for Wilson is I hear you is I hear you it's a great situation he should be extremely busy tonight there really isn't a game script that you would be worried about him not being prominently involved what's your what's your level are you are you medium I mean high medium medium because I mean if if you were to just rank the projected starting running backs for a week six on ability where's manuals and rank medium low lower medium low okay it's probably in the mid 20s at best that's why that's why my confidence is more medium than medium high agreed I like this we're making up agreed making it up right you know I guess I know what it's relative to but I feel like I have him on a lot of teams because I was an early adopter and I'm gonna start him everywhere okay I agree we're all starting him but like Daniel you're starting him I'm starting him what would be more surprising to you 22 points or eight points 22 points would be more surprising against the Denver Broncos even though it's been a good matchup so far I'd be more surprised with eight okay so you and I understand the metaphor we're trying to make right automatic thinking he's been getting he's been getting you 20 fantasy points like he's been doing that more than he hasn't I mean I don't know I'm 20 touches 20 touches 20 touches but he's been he had two touchdowns two weeks ago what did we have this past we get another good game 13 and a half fantasy points pretty good I think America understands what we're getting it we're getting it what the point is it's gonna see a lot of volume absolutely a volume is king guy that's why I'm leaning the other way he's he's he's he's we all haven't ranked like basically the exact same spot we all like a manual Wilson the point is we like the volume the point is that like if you had to create a list of running backs that I would love to see play about 80% or 75% of the snaps and get a ton of opportunities he would be he's on the lower end of that list yes lower end of that list I guess I'm biased because he's in my lineup so okay I got a typical Mike Clay by or what it's worth I want to win I want to win to recap on the on the Seahawks running backs X sharp and a still available on 45% of leagues you want to grab him now before the game gets played tonight and you don't have to fight everyone yeah he's going down which is surprising he was 48% will be a popular waiver at next week when the reports are flying in that he's going to come back which is likely so 10 more days after tonight He'll be back most likely now he's still out you could put him on your IR spot if you have an option then add someone else off A waiver's guys. How do you like your steak Mike? Just curious medium rare. Okay. Good. Of course. All right. That's what I make sure Well, what are we talking about? I had one last night went out to dinner. I sat outside Connecticut in mid-October. Look at a bar. I ordered a steak medium rare. Look at you stuff in her face more, will you? Seriously, what you know I had written her last night? Spaghetti. No, I had two and a half left over chicken nuggets. All right That's not good. Rub it in. You shouldn't do that Maybe I'm edgy because I had to take care of three children and the chicken nuggets were dinner. Maybe that's what it is Oh, we also had wings french fries. Okay. Okay, it's not a pin el vodka gluten-free pasta Talk to us about Jalen Waddle Mike. Yeah, we talk about that instead. You sounds like you were waddling home to the car after all that Food maybe nice shared a shared a bottle of wine as well. Of course you did a little sobby that might explain There we go. Explain some things. Yeah, so let's talk Jalen Waddle in this matchup. It's been rough What was the I wrote this in our document the line it goes A little bit screwed up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's like the line from step-brothers. Yeah, you know, what was it now the tuxedo's are kind of messed up Yeah, we'll make it children doesn't feel great now the waddles feels a little messed up feels a little messed up Yeah, not not great Sean Peyton switched to calling plays last week didn't know everything Oh, it did change everything but it's the first drive. They went right down the field first and then Everything fell apart but that's that's like a Sean Peyton staple right first 15 plays It's always like the tricky. He's really good at it Fell apart after that though just five targets two catches 19 yards for Waddle did have a nine yard carry But this is now two games this year. He's at least 14 fantasy points three with under six and a half So way too many does and he's a 21% target share but outside the top 30 and catches and yardage at receiver Another problem here is they're not getting near the into the red zone very often He's not getting opportunities even when they do he has one touchdown and zero end zone targets this season That's not going to cut it Seattle obviously a very tough opponent Mike Evans did have the big game last week under 13 yards and touchdown But they've still had the third few as shards and fantasy points to receivers this season So Jalen Waddle has fallen out of the line-up lock conversation and frankly he is outside the top 30 for me this week Flex if flex if you're in a tough spot with buys, but I don't feel good about it We talked yesterday about how soon or not we need to do a show with a good chunk of it dedicated to the biggest bus and fantasy football this year Jalen Waddle will at least be on the list and I was thinking about what makes this one uniquely frustrating right and don't get me wrong I'm plenty frustrated at the bear's past catchers and Justin Herbert and I guess the entire chargers offense and Jeremiah love and you name it There are plenty of candidates to make that list was loveland Bear's past catchers yes, so but the reason why I think this Jalen Waddle one is particularly frustrating for me And this involves sort of a real-life football not just fantasy is that this Broncos seems really good, right? They hosted the AFC championship game last year lost a nail-biter against the Patriots with their backup quarterback Right the Broncos did not need to make a big push your chips to the middle of the table move this off season That roster was loaded and they could have used the first plus the third plus the fourth round Pixwap that they sent to Miami to allocate the other spots on the roster that might need some help And instead they addressed a position where I'm not going to tell you the Broncos were amazing at wide receiver But they were good enough and they've invested a lot of draft capital there So they instead trade for Jalen Waddle and it's like we were doing this because we need a wide receiver one We need a guy that can take the top off of defense We need a guy that when you're building your plan we can week out If we stop 17 we've got a chance And they have that at all it's like oh so Jalen Waddle one week will get seven targets And the next week will get two yeah awesome like what are we doing here? It's like they just keep on to leave the Maserati in the garage rather than like drive the cars that they bought They bring them aboard because they need a wide receiver one and then they just Play the exact same way they have played for years, which is just like all right everybody eats and fury Yeah, we have some times just some place for Nate Adkins I mean surely like yeah, I mean for real it's not my number one bust But I was just thinking about what makes this particular case of the bust Frustrating and that reason we thought they were going to go from a little Jordan to big Jalen And they have not done that. Wow, he's still on the raster like I can feel your emotion though That was pretty good one of the things that's frustrating about fantasy football man We all feel it there's been a lot of those there's been a lot of a show could just be two weeks It really could we could do an entire this is why it's tricky too because you think about Okay, they trade it for a big name player They're going to be featured and have the best season of their career like Ken Walker like with with Kansas City It worked great yeah Denver. It's not it's working horrible in the same Italy. It's tricky. Who you guys taking to this one I'm gonna go with the Seattle sea hawks. I'm going with the Broncos. I have the sea hawks. Yes, after all that about Jalen Waddle you're taking the Broncos. Yeah, I mean he well I'm uniforms at home, right? It's the important home great uniforms. Okay. I've really enjoyed being on an island I like that there were a couple picks that worked out last week a lot of them didn't but I've enjoyed being in an island Mike Lee's in an island too. I know absolutely we all wear blue to match the Broncos blues tonight I like this was not planned these are more hot allulu but the sea hawks are also blue Oh my gosh It's amazing. Oh, you're mine All right, Texas Jaguars guys preview on Texans Jaguars quick update here. Dave Montgomery doubtful Not gonna play in this one lineup blocks Nico Collins for the Houston Texans go on the other side Basel Tutton and Parker Washington my friends Tutton trending up. Yeah. Is it true? We're gonna see Marvin Harrison Jr. tonight. We will. We'll see Marvin This is Sunday morning, but sorry tonight. I don't know tonight. We just came from this NFL balls. So Marvin Harrison Jr Will play on Sunday. I just I'm just very curious to see how it goes. I can't imagine they're gonna play him a ton Not really have a gigantic role. We shouldn't play him either. You should not be playing Marvin Harrison Jr. this week But I'm thrilled to see him in this change of scenery nowhere to go But up for marvels one of the flag that when you're watching this game on Sunday morning when you see number 18 on the field Yep, certainly wouldn't surprise me if they have a play at some point schemeed up for marvel that would be cool I wanted to go back to Woody marks and Daniel kind of laid out some of this yesterday But I took a little bit of a deeper dive into Woody marks last year When the Texans were dealing with some injuries and that was late last season. Okay, Daniel mentioned yesterday that after Dave A Montgomery got hurt Woody marks played every running back snap the rest of the way. Yep last season wait Who is the Texan starting running back to begin last year? Who am I forgetting? Yeah, yeah, yeah, mix. Oh yeah, mix him is gone. It wasn't pierced still right now. You left during the job. Thank you. Next job We ever flagged that sorry sorry next job shout out you fantasy legend. We're out some retirement But last year when things fell apart for the backfield injury wise In weeks 11 through 17 Woody marks was basically their starting running back He had five games with at least 16 carries from weeks 11 through 17 They're volume. Okay. Here are his fantasy points in those five games 6.1 7.9 7.7 15.6 and 8.5 Woody marks as a freshman at Mississippi State set the freshman record for most catches by a running back in program history He's an excellent pass catcher And those five games he had six targets So they did not lean into one of his great strengths He had just one top 20 finish and the jaguars are the best run defense in the NFL this year. So while If you're really hurting it running back. I get it. Woody marks will be in starting lineups and 10 team leagues This week we got four teams on a bye guys like Ron gummery out I mean my gummery is out. Take one barkly. We'll see we've got a handful of notable running back injuries are dealing with But it's a reluctant start for me with Woody marks based off the matchup of the inefficiency as the guy last season I'm great. I'm with you on that one. We talked about that at Tuesday on the way your show say same I said a lot of the same things so I'm with you 100% He's just kind of one of them boring fringes top 20 running backs And there's a whole bunch of them. Yeah, sounds strange to say a guy that's going to get maybe 20 touches. Doesn't feel good to be a starter, but I see what you did there. I see but it's not the only strange thing in this game I caught it because you and I uh-huh. Yeah, we're uh speaking the same line up. Yeah, I'm gonna talk about Britain strange because trending up He's going the right direction right now back to back years of this. Yeah, absolutely But over I mean they've been healthy though. I'm wide receiver right now and over the last three weeks Easily leads the team with 21 targets ahead of Parker Washington has been spectacular each Jacobi Myers had a good game Huge game two weeks ago, but it's been strange now leads the team over the last three weeks And look this guy had to slow start the first two games. He just had just 10 targets actually the first three games I mean it just 10 targets, but the last week seven for 95 and eight targets seven for 68 on eight targets My concern here is It's so crowded. They're still trying to feed the really four receivers. They're rotating plus Travis Hunter because Josh Cameron has been involved As well and last year in probably a slightly less crowded situation He averaged his five targets per game at nine point eight fantasy points per game So now he now he faces use and obviously one of the toughest defenses in the NFL. They started very poorly They are back on their feet the last couple of weeks. I expect them to be Top five at worst top 10 defense moving forward, but even as is even with their struggles the Texans have not allowed a touchdown to a tight end So far this season. So I'm still More on the pessimistic side that strange will be in every week tight end one. I haven't 12 this week with four teams out So more of a if you're in a tough spot starter, but still still more of a tight end two slash streamer for streaming radar Yeah, with four teams on a buy this week. Hopefully we can see some more, but I understand all of the past catchers there I'm gonna take the Jaguars in this one. What about you, but Mike? Uh, what about me? I listed the Jaguars as my selection. I listed the Texans have Adam Texans rode up. Are you doing this on purpose? No I'm not that producers are aligned with me, but this would be typical Houston behavior word of a road ups. The games in London, of course. Yeah. I always do that. I always, I always forget that. The London stuff every week. Um, if the Texans win this game on Sunday, watch out. Yeah. That's what I mean. Like making a real pool. You think so? They could get piping hot. And this would be a big confidence builder for them. Huge confidence builder. Also be a big confidence builder for Tyler Schuck in the Saints. If they can beat the giants here in six, let's have got a couple of line of blocks. I think you mastered the segue. I appreciate you guys pumping me out, making me feel good. Chris Olave, Devon, Valet. Nope, Devon, Valet. There it is. There we go. That's the right one. For the giants, camscat aboo, Malik neighbors, Isaiah likely. We got Isaiah likely on one side, but we don't have to want Johnson on the other side, Mike. Is there a reason why? Okay. He's close. Yeah. He's very much in that conversation. Uh, but yeah, I mean, you still have a lobby, still of Valet and you also have a block that I'm coming off a really bad game last week, too. And that's an interesting one for Valet. I wouldn't expected him to make the lineup blocks. I mean, he's in the mid 20s and fantasy points this season. He's other than the Minnesota game, which we kind of get people a free pass for. He's average in 13 and F fantasy points per game. Uh, he's been good. I think. Yeah. I mean, look, he's just been good and heavily targeted as well. So I think if you have him, you're starting him. How about Tyler Schuck? If you have Tyler Schuck, are you starting him? Dude, it was really bad. Let's talk about it. That's where I'm like, that's the thing. So Tyler Schuck might be in a fantasy timeout right now for this moment, but he started really strong. 22 plus fantasy points in his first three games, only 15.94 fantasy points the week before and then like a really tough one. Excuse me. Last week, game before that was a Minnesota brutal. It was negative. Last week was Minnesota and he scored negative. Oh, then I meant two weeks ago. Okay. Um, so it was negative point, whatever it was. Um, but he had like, uh, he's played in the sort of Vikings, guys. It was a really tough defense. They blitzed 91% of the time. Yeah. When I look at this, he's still throwing the ball of tongue leads the NFL and pass attempts. The giants have given up to really big games to quarterback so far this year. Matthew Stafford had 27 points against him. Jane Daniels had 32. He's not in the QB1 conversation this week with the last two weeks that he's had. He's just kind of come back to earth after that hot start. But I do think he's closer to that quarterback 14, 15 just outside the streaming radar. If I had Tyler Schuck on my squad as my second quarterback, I'm not dropping him. I'm gonna, I'll probably have my bench. I, I, you know, wait and see if this happens. But ideally, I don't want to start him this week if I can help it. Yeah. Other quarterback in that game, you want to start though. James maybe possibly. We'll see. Uh, James Winston went full. James last week. It was a rough start to the first half last week for James Winston. They played the commanders. The game was in very, very bad weather conditions were throwing the football. Yep. And then you looked up at the end of the tie and James Winston had 54 passing attempts. 20 of those went to Malik neighbors. A bunch more went to Isaiah, like team of them. Yep. This is the matchup. Uh, this is the matchup to do it. Uh, we talked a couple days ago, but came scataboo and how it's like, if it's not going to happen for the giants running game this week against the Saints, then it just not going to happen at all this season. It's not quite as easy of a task for James against this passing off passing defense. And part because teams have run the football so effectively against New Orleans, they haven't had to throw it as much. But Kirk cousins put up 22.2 fantasy points. And Kyler, who we've been down on Kyler Murray's performance this season, we're like, man, Kyler just just not look good at all. He could put it 80% of his passes last week. Saints have allowed the 18th. Most fantasy points. No, they're the 18th easiest matchup. Okay. A weird way of just that. But they're efficiency to your point. You're able to run on them. But there's seventh worst EPA against the past. And the fourth highest completion percent. No one knows what EPA means, but seventh is bad. And that's what we like. And if the Giants running game just not get on track and there's been other than the matchup, there hasn't been a lot of reasons to get confident that will happen, then James should be throwing the football aplenty. The Saints can move the ball and do this. James, right? Like you just never know what's going to happen here. I like if you tell me the James wins and has four picks and three fantasy points on Sunday, I believe you. If you tell me the throws for 320 yards and two touchdowns, I'd also believe you. Yeah. I mean, he's coming up back to back top 12s now and two very light matchups against Washington and Arizona. But I consider this a light matchup as well. So I wrote about him in the playbook this week as a viable streamer here this week. Last thing that I will say about this. Let me just pull up the exact thing. And I heard, um, Tim Patrick, the Jets wide receiver mentioned this because I love Tim Patrick. He's back. He came off. I R and just was immediately number two. The number two. One of my favorite jets last week. What I was going to say, the Tim Patrick brought up is I'm not trying to excuse everything. But the Giants have played in so much crappy weather so far this year, as we live not far from East Rutherford, New Jersey. It has been raining pretty much every single Sunday, the forecast on Sunday. And East Rutherford 57 and perfectly sunny. I love that. So that, you know, I'm not saying that, you know, James through for 300 plus yards last week in the rain, but it wasn't ideal, right? I mean, guys were wearing no gloves. Guys were slipping and sliding everywhere. Fumbles, you name it. Weather is not a concern on Sunday for the first time for the Giants or not me, but the first time, but one of the first times this season sitting in the war room with a bunch of the legends. When we were watching guys with gloves, I saw who did I see? I say a bond to drop a pass. And it was wet. Is it true? It's harder to catch a ball with gloves on when it's wet? Feel, do you know, did you have some of these gloves or a couple of different kinds? Some of them have, it's almost like a shiny. Yeah. It's what it looks like to them. Yeah. That it just, it creates, it just gets slippery when they get wet. Back in the day, they used to have these gloves that basically like when they were fresh, they had, it almost felt like a little bit of stick them left on them. And then they would just like wear out over time. And you'd have to toss them at that point, but those held up better in the wet them. Okay. Now, I think the NFL has cracked down on some of those kinds of gloves too, just because. Yeah. Combined up in the line. Yeah. But yeah, a lot of guys are like, I'm going no gloves. Remember Tim Brown used to never wear gloves? Yep. Do Brown never wear gloves? Legend. Yeah, legend. Who you guys taking to this one? I'm going to go with the GMN. I'll take the Giants at home. Saints have shown me. I think we're also taking the Giants and our producer Addison is a Saints fan, which is why we're taking the Saints in that one. I'd say the Giants are being very disrespected at 3-1 and 1 so far, but the Vikings are being disrespected at 5-0. So that's true. You can't, it only goes so far, I guess. But it's going to be interesting to see if the Giants can keep this roll in going for 3-1 and 1. What a great record to have. The Saints got to put on notice. Their leader is a little bit by the owner. What did you guys make of that? Do you guys hear that? It's interesting for those that maybe missed it. Gail Benson, the owner of the Saints was just like unacceptable. We've been trash. We got to get it going. That's, that's a cliff note. It's probably I was going to say that's a condenser. It's a more dramatic version of what she said, but safe to say that leadership in New Orleans has been put on a big, a lot of motivation and get this win. Let's dive into the mailbag here a little bit. My friends before we move on. Shout out to our buddy, Eric Moody. And you follow him on social media at Eric and Moody. First question comes from Detail Games, Luther Burton or Denzel Boston. Boston's banged up, but I'm going Denzel Boston. I wish you'd be good to go. I'm fairly certain. I have him a little bit ahead. Oh, yeah. One spot ahead. Boston 23, burden 24, both respectable matchups here. It's not like Baltimore's been shutting down receiver so far. So Boston's been awesome. I just feel a little bit more confident in Denzel Boston because we've just seen it a little bit more than we have with Luther Burton. I would go with him this week. Jeffrey wants to know start to hear guys. Kendra Miller, RJ Harvey, Damien Pierce. Yeah, this is one of the myth things, right? If Sequan Barclay plays, it's an easy call. You're going Kendra and RJ Harvey, if Barclays out Pierce line up lock. I mean, he's going to be the guy. It's Carson Steele that's next up in that running back room. In that case, then, I'm going to, I'm going to go Harvey along with, along with Pierce. When you say he's a lineup lock, do you mean he's a lock to score under eight fantasy points? Or do you mean he's a lock for starting lineup? Lock, he might be. He didn't talk about him. Okay. Okay. Okay. We'll talk about him in a little bit. Okay. It wasn't there last bit too far. All right. The tricky part about that. Let me just, the only thing I want to say about that question right there. Who is your answer if Sequan would be out? Sequan's out. I'm locking Pierce in along with RJ Harvey. Okay. So then I think the bottom line is either way you're playing RJ Hart, right? Yes. Right. Because and that's tonight. So I just wanted to make sure that we clarify the game is tonight. And if you're, if we don't have clarity on Sequan by the end of the day today, then that would put you in a more precarious spot if we were saying Kendrick Miller. I think, you know, if Sequan doesn't practice today, it's very difficult to imagine a player coming off of a hamstring injury could maybe practice on Friday and then play on Sunday. If Sequan does practice today, it's same day to you. You said, Rashi Rice as well. No, I was going to say Devon take Smith as well. Yeah. Practice yesterday. But again, we're going to talk about this equals game here momentarily. Also, just a quick reminder, if you were playing anybody from this Thursday night slate, make sure that they are in their appropriate positional spot, running back or wide receiver, try not to start someone in the flex just to give yourself as much flexibility for the Sunday games in case anything happens. One more question from the mailbag. Sefuel wants to know, grade the trade. I got CD Lamb. I have JSN for Garrett Wilson and Ramondra Stevenson. They did not have a running back. How do you feel about Garrett Wilson and Ramondra Stevenson and getting CD Lamb out of that? I like it. I feel great about it. It's a great trade to get an A plus player like CD Lamb. That is fantastic. And I love Garrett Wilson. But I mean, that's a big upgrade and you're giving away NJS and every week is an amazing feeling. I mean, if if Trevian Henderson is out for the season and Steven, that's what I was going to say. Top 15 play the rest of the season. It's more of a conversation. But that's just not the reality right now. So did land practice yesterday and full? I don't have that one in front of me, but I don't see any. I haven't seen any concern that he's going to go at this moment. All right, next question. I'll read it while Daniel looks up the report. Tutan, Michael Wilson, or ABUCA at the flex. We talked about Michael Wilson yesterday, tough matchup against the Rams. Obviously, if they're getting smoked, that changes things, I'm a little impatient. I'm going to go Wilson. I'm a little worried about him being shadowed by Trent McDuffy, but two and gets Houston. I mean, that's a, that's a tough assignment against that defense. They have been really good against running backs. The fourth few is fantasy points allowed. So give me Wilson. Let's hope for 10 targets. I didn't hear the question. I'll say whatever field said to, to and Erwolson. Yeah. Yeah. We're not going to do it. So, okay, CD Lam did in fact practice in full yesterday. Okay. There you go. No concerns. Love to see that. Remember, you left the game last Thursday with that quad injury, which is why I was wondering. Let's talk. Did you just put blind faith in field over me, by the way? Yes. That's exactly what happened. Why are you surprised? Really? Yes. I'm glad you picked up on that, Michael. That's really mean. Thank you. That's why you're in last place. That's exactly not. No, no, no, no. There's a script there. We'll talk about it on Sunday. Bears and Falcons. Let's dive into that game, my friend. Bears and Falcons line up locks in this one Deandre Swift. The only lineup lock we feel good about for Chicago. I guess Luther Burton still on that list as well, Michael. We also have B John Robinson and Drake London, obviously with Michael Panax Jr. Under center. Let's talk about the Bears running backs, though, because we didn't see Kalman on guy last week. You're right. Pull up practice status here on the Bears running backs. I just wanted to quickly mention them. We were going to dive into the pass catchers originally, but we did that yesterday. So no need to rehash that conversation from yesterday and from the top of the show. We don't have a lot of confidence in them, but hopefully Caleb Williams allows us to get that confidence back. Still DNP with a toe injury for common on guy. Common on guy is trending towards another game missed. Deandre Swift has banged up and Ben Johnson was talking about kind of have a more even approach in the back that we're not going to have one guy playing. I think he used 50 as a number of snaps in a game. Swift has banged up, but none guys already deal with the toe injury. Rochon Johnson is just a name that to have on your radar right now. Sometimes the winning moves and fantasy football are not adding players that you can tap into that week and they can go off a lot of journey Bernard last week. It's more so having a little bit of foresight here. If you have a little bit of space on your bench and you've got concerns at all about running back or you don't and you're just trying to play defense. I think Rochon Johnson is a reasonable name to have added into the mix, not totally wild about the player, but he's one injury away and already banged up backfield from probably being in our Damien Pierce territory where he's the last man standing and that might be useful in fantasy. Swift was off the injury or off the injury. So that's at least good. I hear what you're saying. I don't disagree with what you're saying, but that's good progress for Swift to at least be. Yeah, we know he's good to go. Rochon Johnson available in 98% of leagues. So if you want to go out there and grab him just as a safety valve, you know that you have that available to him. Mike, we didn't see Kyle Pits on there because it just doesn't seem to happen. Are we giving up on Kyle Pits and Michael Pentex? I mean, able to, I don't think now is the time to give up because he's actually trending the right direction with Michael Pentex healthy. So remember, this guy was a top five fantasy tight end last season. Still one of the two ride talent. Yeah, second number two. So we saw some progress last week at six targets. That's great for him this season. Five catches 42 yards and of course, he scored that touchdown. He also had 47 yards of the week before with Pentex under center. That was only three targets. So I, I think the biggest concern I have is like, are they going to get back to where they were last year with his usage? Because his route shares, I looked at his game lock. They're all over the map. He is a high of 81% and a low of 43% and it's not like it's trended one trending one way. It's up and then it's down and then it's up and it's been zigzagging all season. But can you play a season I 67% of the snaps last week? They're playing Chicago this week. They've actually allowed the third few as fantasy points to tight ends, but it also faced a few as tight end targets this season. So I'm not really worried about the match up here. But the bottom line is he has not been consistently good enough yet to trust him as a tight end one, but we're getting there. It's like, there's at least a chance. Maybe like he's worth an end of your bench sort of roster spot right now because we know what his upside is. Part of why this is confusing and not that every real life move a team makes leads to fantasy success as we talked about with jail and waddle. But the Falcons put the franchise tag on Kyle Pits this off season and I thought it was sort of a band-aid. It was more like, right, we can afford the player on the franchise tag, but maybe we can get a trade executed and we can turn Kyle Pits into a mid-round draft pick or something like that. They've had extended Kyle Pits for three years and $54 million like real money for a tight end obviously. And I'm like, wait, maybe they just saw what we all saw last year in the Bears. Want them to be there? Sorry, the Falcons wanted to be their number two pass catcher, not like Johan Dawson's a real threat for that. And now here we are and to Mike's point, he was retained for real money and he's kind of like a featured character as opposed to a main character in the story. Yeah, he's not he's not an NPC, but he's definitely not a main character. NPC is a non-player character in video games. Oh, I think one of the problems here too is that Elena is running easily the run heaviest offense in the NFL. They are run heavy and that is carried over to the Michael pinnocks era, we'll say, of the season. Also, they've been leading at the fifth highest rate in the NFL season. So GameScript could lead to better things for Kyle Pits. And of course, they're playing Chicago with Caleb back. You would imagine there's a chance or trailing in this game. And if that's the case, maybe we start to see Pits come alive in fantasy. I kind of think we're bearing the real conversation here. Air Zing. Oh, and that's the idea that we know definitively based on science. The Kyle Pits has five touchdowns left to score this season. Is this going to be one of those games because we're trying to pick which of those five touchdowns are going to be coming. If we think this is one of those games, then we're in a good spot for those that don't know. Yeah. Kyle Pits has scored one more receiving touchdown in every game of his or every season of his career. So as a rookie, he scored one touchdown as a sophomore, he scored two touchdowns as a third year player scored three touchdowns, four touchdowns. The last year he scored five touchdowns, which means this year he's definitely going to score six touchdowns. It's just science guys. Yeah, this is science. So we know he's got five more left. Maybe, maybe tonight's one of them friends. Did you have a preseason projection on Kyle Pits and did you have it? It was probably five. It was probably five or something. I had to adjust that one. Yeah. Good content. It was probably right in that five range. We were taking in this one. You're taking bears and falcons. Yeah. Bears. I'm taking bears to the Falcons. What? Falcons get it done at home. Michael Pinnix. Wow. Back to back road games for the bears. They play at home next Thursday against the Patriots critical one for Chicago to say the least. And we already talked at the top of the show about the whole Caleb Williams thing, but we will keep an eye on that as we move forward. Let's talk Panthers and Eagles. This is really exciting lineup blocks in this one. Chuba Hubbard, Tadarol McMillan, Jalen Coker. That's a name we haven't heard in a minute. For Philly, Saekwan Barkley will talk about him. Devante Smith also talk about him and Dallas Goddard. Definitely a couple of practice situations injuries to monitor here field for the Eagles. Yeah. Let's talk about what we know as of this moment. On Wednesday, both Saekwan Barkley and Devante Smith were listed as DNPs. Yeah. Like literally a third of the Eagles roster was on the injury report yesterday. It was pretty wild. It's rough right now. Devante Smith, if you're looking for a silver lining, was like at practice, but just like I think sort of like stretching and doing physical therapy, Devante Smith just, I'm sorry, Saekwan Barkley just flat out was not spotted at Eagles practice. We'll see on on Saekwan today. If you return to practice, there's a glimmer of hope. If he doesn't, and by the way, there was some reporting early in the week that maybe one of that has a one, if not both have a chance to play, we'll see whether that comes to bear or not. But if Saekwan is out, let's go through the names that are actually available for to Philadelphia in the backfield. Damien Pierce, we got 11 carries last week for just 14 yards, but Carson Steele, complete non-factor for them last week was even active last week he had to. I believe he was active as the three Carson Steele was active, but did not play at all on offense. Jaden Blue was on the practice squad. I think I might be forgetting one other name on the practice squad. Unless they added one, that was the list. Okay. So three of them now, they're two of them are up at those still remaining. So the Eagles are probably going to have to activate Jaden Blue from the practice squad for Sunday's game. Pierce, not exactly the kind of guy that gets you excited. This reminds me a little bit of what we were talking about with Woody Marx earlier. He's probably half to start him as opposed to want to start him. But if Saekwan is out, they play a Panthers run defense. It hasn't exactly been the brick wall of Carolina so far this year that Damien Pierce would probably creep into. I'm going to use the range of because I haven't thought of this too carefully. As high as like running back 18. Yeah. As low as RB 25. Great for me. Yeah. Right. What do you mark? I believe I have a 22. So like very much in that vicinity. Yeah. I don't know. You feel different attitude or no. I don't feel differently. I just have no interest in starting Damien Pierce when you look at all of the Eagles running backs. They have been awful. Like it's everybody that is even like, I don't know. It's just I think the way that you could get excited about this is your five and oh, yeah, five and oh, and I got to start Damien Pierce and it's okay. You're a close personal friend of Damien. Yeah. I like this play. There's nothing that feels good. Here's what I think comes down to is can the Eagles on defense play like they have the past couple weeks, all right, which is good enough to give them a lead in the fourth quarter. And can the Phillies say rather than trying to be an offense that we really aren't capable of being, can we just knock the crap out of people at the point of attack and can Damien Pierce get you 17 carries on Sunday. The Eagles had you said like a third of their roster was on the practice in report. They had 24 people on the Wednesday practice report. I said I said a third 24 is closer to half. Oh, yeah, it's almost half of their squad. It's hard to execute your preseason plan for the season when half the team is unavailable. I mean, it's just been a mess for them. And to their credit, they're hanging in there, they're hanging in with the Rams and the Jags, they frankly, they should have won both of those games. They completely, I mean, they blew the Rams game, But they really blew the jagsy and it'll lead with eight seconds left and they're really tough That was, that's tough. So if they, as they get healthier, it's possible they get back into the kitchen. Mike made the comment earlier this, this show where he was like, I'm in that guy because volume is king, right? I mean, that's what he marks. Like that's sort of what if you're going to, that's the thing you're going to hang your hat on. If I guess if I have to start Damien Pierce, he's just going to get a lot of volume and hopefully good matchup. That's what I'm trying to be excited about. Yeah. Can you, do you have any more context you want to add on how good of a matchup this is against Caroline? The most famous, he points a lot to running backs to Sierra Linus for Carolina. Yeah. So they've, they've had some struggles. A lot of that was, that was the week one game against the Bears. But they've still, you know, they haven't been that electric by any means, stopping the run. They actually, like Beigeon had a pretty pedestrian game against that by Beigeon's day. No, it's a mere, I mean, well, what's the pedestrian game? Yeah, that doesn't count. Yeah. But if you look at the game wall against Atlanta, a lot of Brian Robinson as well, they rush for like 150 yards. So you can ground it and pound it against Carolina. Wouldn't surprise me if Philadelphia tries to do that on Sunday. I want to talk about Jalen Coker. All right. Are we still, I mean, I know he's a line of block. Are we still good? Do you feel comfortable starting Jalen Coker? I just want to go through it. Yeah. Yeah. So week one, just as a reminder, eight catches, 138 yards, two touchdowns on nine targets, 33.8 fantasy points was awesome. Week two, another nine target week, eight for 66, 14.6 fantasy points, then gets banged up in week three, two for 18, 3.8 fantasy points, DNP and week four against the Detroit Lions. We all saw Tedder, oh, just eat in that game and then week five was a buy. So it's been almost three weeks since we've seen Ted and the or since we've seen Jalen Coker, excuse me, I just want to say this. We're projecting him as the number two wide receiver in this offense. Yeah. Because we saw it two weeks in a row. Yeah. But this isn't a thing that like from a consistency standpoint, it's not like we've seen it for two years coming into this. When he's been healthy and a part of the offense, he's been good, but that just hasn't sustained. I think it will. And I am, I'm still on him. I just wanted to be able to throw it out there as a conversation. Eagles are not a great defense. He's still got some really nice pieces, though, obviously. Six wide receivers have topped at least 15 fantasy points against the Eagles so far this year. I am still also projecting the number two role because Bryce Young is throwing the ball so much. This offense is clearly slinging it out there. But it's been a minute. And I think that this is one of those situations where I feel like we're more in on Jalen Coker because we're excited about what we saw at the beginning of the season. Then we've actually seen from a consistency standpoint in his career. There's a little bit of projection that he is going to be the guy that we thought he was the first two weeks of the season because we haven't seen him be that forever. I'm still starting him. He was really good on the stretch last year. He was seven final games last year. He was a top 25 wide out. So I'm, I am in on Jalen Coker, who of course went to college at Holy Cross. Mike nailed it. Ohio State. No, no, no, no, no. It was right. Holy Cross is the right one. Holy Cross is just as deep. I just assume my wrong. But I'm still in on starting Jalen Coker even if you haven't really seen him in three weeks. All right. Who you taking in this one, Mike, you going on the Eagles? I, yes. I hope. Yeah. I don't know. I didn't. I picked the Panthers. Oh, wow. All the Panthers. The producers have producers taking the Eagles. Maybe reverse psychology here on this one. I have not gone against the Detroit Lions yet. And you have picked against the Eagles quite a bit this year, Mike. Ver psychology. Okay. Almost worked. I'll actually, I guess I was right. The last two weeks. I'm going to pick them in either one. So it's all three W's. Carnals and Rams. We had a lot of lineup blocks on one side of this game. Matthew Stafford, Kyron Williams, a lot overall. Pukin, Akula, Devante Adams, all the Rams. Tremac, Brydon, Michael Wilson on the other side. Sad football game. Mike, I don't see Jeremy. I love his lineup block. I don't either. And I don't love that. Oh, I took the layup folks. I took the layup. Yeah. This one is unfortunate. Look, he had that big week three where we thought, here we go. It's, it's happening now 26 touches in that game. 109 yards in a touchdown, but lingering throughout this year has been the efficiency, the lack of explosive plays. Like it's been a concern. And he's heard, but also he hasn't cleared 15 touches or 55 yards. And his other four games, including the last two weeks, last week was really rough. 22 yards and 12 touches in what should have been a great matchup against the lines. We thought great opportunity. Yes. When Jeremy I love finishes this RB 12 this season, I want to remember just like Ashton Gentie, then in week five and six, it sucked for us some of the time because that end of the season total is not what it feels like sometimes in the middle of the season. And it seemed like it was going the right way. Like yeah, we'll take a couple slow games to start the season and then ramp it up and the great fantasy schedule or the playoff schedule, but it's not it's we're going the wrong direction now. Right now to your point, he was out of practice on Wednesday. It felt like maybe there's a little bit of maintenance there. So we'll see if he comes back today, not a hundred percent. He's obviously dealing, he's legitimately if you'd play on Sunday. Yes. Right and right now he is. But we'll see there's it's it's kind of trying to like we threw the words, the, you know, the coach speak on that a little bit. But the bottom line is he hasn't been productive as is the efficiency. He's been horrific 3.7 yards per carry in 2.6 yards per target, which could explain why he's gone from 12 targets. The first three games to a total of two over the last two weeks. And Michael Flores asked about this and he said, right now they need pass protection. I logically, it doesn't make sense to not utilize the third overall pick of the draft in the in the passing game. But that's what they're saying right now. By the way, the Rams started off really well against the run, but they did get smoked by James Cook. I'm money and I football. You may recall a two touchdowns and over a hundred yards in that game. So look, if love is active in this one, there's enough talent and opportunity here that he's a flex option. But if he's out, then we flip to Tyler Algier as a line up lock, because he's going to handle a massive workload, even in a tough matchup, he could push for 18, 20 touches. So that's it right now. And by the way, if you have love, I'm just holding tight for now. I don't want to sell low by any means. I want to hold tight and hope that he gets healthy and gets ramped up and by mid season. He's a line up lock. Think about though, like, yeah, we, uh, we need to be better with past protection. Why would you have to run it back? Third overall, exactly. Great question. By the way, this is no longer, we've talked about this before, like, B. John Robinson wasn't as up to expectation during his rookie season in the NFL. B. John Robinson had 214 carries and 86 targets as a rookie. All right. Like we saw B. John tonight. I thought we were going to get out of love. It was like, at least he was getting opportunities in B. John, by the way, like his first four games, six catches, 27 yards in a touchdown, four for 48, four for 27, five for 32. So at least 6.7 fantasy points just as a receiver from B. John and each of his first four games. The crown, they're not even throwing the ball to Jeremiah. Love. It's maddening. It's frustrating. Tell me about Matthew Stafford, though. Matthew Stafford, I think it's back to being a top 10 quarterback, guys. Throw away the week one. This game or in general, in general, I think in general and in this game, but throw away week one where Sean McVase smooth brained the whole travel thing. That was really bad. Stafford had four straight games after that with 315 or more passing yards. That's good. Four straight games with over 300 multiple passing touchdowns in three of his last four games. All of the good quarterbacks that have played the Cardinals have had really good games so far this year. Brock Pertie had 31, Jared Goff had 28.9, Drew Locke had 21.4, Jamis had 18. Okay. There's only one quarterback that didn't do well, but he's not a good quarterback. So it doesn't matter. The other good thing is just in her, but yes, I'm sorry. I wasn't going to say it. Feel come on. What am I going to argue with you on that? The other thing that's really good about this, three of those quarterbacks, Jared Goff in that game where he scored 28.9 points, one rushing yard. He did have a rushing touchdown, but he still would take that away had 22 fantasy points as a passer. Drew Locke, zero rushing yards, still scored 21 fantasy points. Jamis Winston, zero rushing yards, still scored 18 fantasy points. That's great because we know Matthew Stafford's not going to have any rushing yards and they're still letting quarterbacks do it with their everywhere. That's right. So right now, at least against Arizona, he's clearly back to being a top 10 quarterback. But if he goes five straight games, throwing 300 or more passing yards and he's got double digit or double digit, multiple passing touchdowns and most of those games, he's kind of back to being the guy that is defying the odds and doing everything with his arm like we saw last year. Yeah, and we have an ill advise board bet that he's going to throw 40 touchdowns. So I need him to catch up a little bit. Yeah, you get rolling here. Matthew Stafford. They feels great in this week. Do we even need to ask could you guys are picking? I'm assuming everybody ramps, ramps, ramps, ramps, 12 and a half point favors in this game. Ramis are in a good spot. Yeah, for sure. Mm-hmm. Guys, we got some long shot picks. Yeah, we do. Let's do it. You want to hit this week? Yeah, can we do that, please? By the way, enough with the targets and catches in yards. We don't care. I won't take one target. It just has to be in the end zone. Sad update to the graphic here is Rahim. Rahim Sanders is in fact on injured reserve. That sucks. That's actually really cute that the team put the IR next. Showing some respect. We love your over here. Come back. Come back healthy in a month. I am taking a guy that's getting a lot of volume here, guys. Laquan Treadwell. Someone else took him earlier this year. How many earlier this year? Yes, good. And also getting a lot of volume in that game. So we're hoping that maybe he just gets in the end zone only 0.2% rostered field. Where are you going? I'm going to Josh Karen. Mike actually brought him up earlier on in the show. He mentioned that four Jaguars wide receivers are getting some level of love. One of them is Josh Cameron, who the team is doing a good job of scheming up run after catch opportunities. He was this great run after catch player at Baylor during his college career. Just has to hold on to the football this Josh Cameron. I believe he was the guy that returned the opening kickoff last week for a touchdown that was called back. We obviously are on the air during the game. So it's hard for us to watch the London games. But Josh Cameron's my guy. Yeah. You also had some trouble with return coverage because that happened and then of course at the end of the game that year put it away. The Mirab Dola return one. That was a problem. Not great. Their special teams coach, of course, is named my clay clay cool clay. Yeah. It's better. Do better. I'm clay. Let's go. Hey, that we say that often. It's going to say. Yeah. Got that. You say. All right. Now I get it. Now I get I get that expression. My guy is Devon Tez or commonly known as Tez Walker. That's right. It's the Cleveland Browns. Of course, the wide receiver for Baltimore. more. I didn't get my 20. He was like a very deep sleeper in the offseason, but didn't didn't get any run to open the season for Baltimore. But last week, 37 possible past plays. He ran 28 routes. It was behind just behind Rashad Bateman and Zayf Flowers targeted now in four straight games. So he's been involved and he scored a touchdown last week. So I'm hoping he does it for this second week in a row. Also, he has 11 career catches. I've gone for touchdowns. It's a serious keeper of Baltimore. Yeah, absolutely. By the way, Cleveland's already a lot seven touchdowns to wide receivers. That is their most in the NFL. So let's, uh, let's go walker. When you love that. All right, our producers taking Mason, Taylor, obviously, tight end. So we're in a situation where they're hopefully we get another tight end touchdown this week. See if Kenyann Cedig plays in this one. But uh, keep watching that. We'll be involved. Yes. Do love genome Smith. All right. We need to do our fantasy focus. Top 10. Now, my friends, new segment. Mike is going to take over. Is it going to be similar to, uh, have you ever watched David Letterman where he does a top 10 or SNL where we do some things? Mike's going to bring a top 10 list to the table. We do this every Thursday, going forward. Um, and we'll get into it. I want to, I want to, this was so hard to do, right? So I want to give a little context. My first fix already on the screen, but I'll get to end just a moment. Oh, this is my favorites. Okay. So favorites of what? Like obvious, my favorite SNL cast members. Got it. I'm a, I'm a religious watcher of this show. I watch it. I watch every episode as long as I could remember. But I'm not going to just list like, when do you do not remember Lee and like, like, they're all legends, but it's, that's not the point of this. It's going to be modern era. So like 2000s, honestly. Good. Do you watch it live? I watch the beginning. I'll usually watch like them up to the monologue live, but I can't really make it much longer because we have a show on Sunday morning. Do you just, oh, it's a school night? Do you just Tivo, the rest of it? I Tivo, the rest of it. Yes. I always watch it throughout the week. Clips on, on social, but, uh, this is a topic very close to my heart. So shout out to Addison or producer who thought of this. But, uh, yeah. So again, don't get angry. Okay. About me for not putting like Chris Farley number one. 10 is Chloe. Find me. Yeah. You're furious. Okay. Are you kidding me? So she, yeah. My girlfriend's not going to be thrilled about this one. This is, uh, I gotta look. This is, uh, Chloe Feiman is my celebrity crush. She just left the cast, but she had a legendary run in the show. Um, she just was actually retired. Yeah. It's time movies and stuff. Uh, so, but very talented, super funny. Very fun. But she, uh, Megan's not going to be thrilled about that one. That's all right. This is coming. So she gets a 10 spot. Uh, number nine, uh, on my list, Eddie Bryant. Love, Eddie. The social surprise. Some people. But she is one of, she gets, uh, a nod here for one of my favorite all-time bits, which is the live laugh love signs. They did like one. And it was like Mother's Day and her birthday. And they were just like, they became like really mean about like, yes. And it just goes on. I look, I'm looking, looking at the characters up as my 80, 80 does was in the skit where Bill Hader was in the wheelchair and ran into the table. If you guys are never seeing that one, which was hilarious. Go back and watch that. I'm gonna, all I'm gonna think about is, is bits that they've done that as you could say their names. Exactly right. So I love the, uh, the live laugh love, uh, bit. So what looked them up? There's two of them. Number eight. Uh, what a legend. Keenan Thompson. Now when I know a record, 23 seasons. Uh, what's up with that? I still reference all the time that they did that over and over and over. But he's been in a bazillion things. So it's amazing. Thompson. Yeah. Uh, number seven, Jason Sadekis. Love this guy. It's great. Uh, Pete Twinkle. He was an ESPN anchor. So, uh, obviously we love him a lot. Uh, that was one of his best bits that he did. Ted Lassa for those unfamiliar. Ted Lassa. Of course, yes. So he's gone on to do great things. I'm just saying for those who don't know, yes. Absolutely. Uh, number six. This is my future superstars emerging superstar Ashley Padilla. I love her. She's only been around for a couple of years. But she has made an instant impact. Some people just have it. You know, yeah. Sometimes you see an actor where they just have it locked down. And also she breaks a lot too, which is hilarious. It's just when she does it. Is it the best when the characters break as a part of their skit? She's so good. She just makes everything. I love her. She is a budding superstar. Remember the name Ashley Padilla. Can you give us like a fantasy comp for her? A fantasy comp, uh, who's not sure am I love unfortunately, though, though, right? Matthew Golden. Oh, yeah. Maybe Matthew Golden. That's good. Yeah. She's a, in her maybe her third or fourth season right now. Oh, no, it's on the, it's on the screen. 24 24 24. Yeah. All right. Number five. Now we're going to get into some legends from our era. Here's the, I'm wearing the shirt. Oh, there we go. Leslie Nope shirt. Amy polar, which feels too low. Of course. We can update. She, uh, she really blew up when she was Hillary Clinton. Yes. Uh, doing Hillary Clinton. So he's one of the top podcasters in the game now. Good hang is an amazing show. Actually, Ashley Padilla was just on good hang, which was amazing. So she is some great guests on there, including the people on the list here. Number four, you would just mention him. Oh, Heyder is my number one love. Love Bill Hader. Stefan. I did Keith Morrison from Dateline was one of his best thing, but he did a million things. I, I love just Bill Hader is incredible. I love when he breaks to like him breaking is my favorite character to break. Absolutely. And a Barry or no. Uh, Barry Rachel. Yeah. Love, uh, fantastic. I just watched Widow's Bay two, which the guy that was one of the people that was in Barry was in that as well. That was an amazing show to, um, not Bill Hader. But anyway, I didn't stop. I literally watched I watched a whole thing this weekend. It was up for a bunch of Emmys Matthew, uh, Reese rice from Americans. Yes. Yes. Matthew Reese from Americans was starting. That was really good. Uh, number three on the list. Tina Fey. Oh, he's good. SNL's first ever, uh, first female head writer. Obviously, she was on weekend, update with Amy Polar as well. Just, uh, what a talent. I mean, to be a writer at that level and also, uh, just such a good actress too. I mean, she's incredible. Yep. What a talent. Love her. Uh, number two. Well, Farrell going back a little while longer, but we'll Farrell had to make Alex Trebek. Mark Halbell is a legendary skid. Obviously, he's done a ton of movies. By the way, happy anniversary to Talladega Knights. One turn 20, I believe yesterday. Uh, he was on, uh, he was on with, um, the tonight show, one of those, uh, I'm not sure. Yeah. I don't know which is my hands. What do you do with that? Jacked up a mountain. Yeah. NASCAR movie. So good timing on this one. Well, Farrell has done everything. Well, aren't him and John C. Rally kind of at odds now, though? I don't know. I didn't know that. I don't think that they are as close as they used to be. Okay. Well, they're making days of Thunder two. Maybe I'll make Talladega Knights two. Love that. That would be cool. Look at this stuff. I feel like that's accurate. And, gosh, my number one, number one, number one, number of all time, a couple of nine, nine's own Andy Sandberg, the king of the digital shorts, uh, lazy Sunday and so forth and so on. Many of which I can't say on air. Yes. The kid show Nicholas Cage. I use that gift with you guys all the time. Uh, love that. Uh, the Mark Wendy's Mark Wahlberg talking to the animals. I love that one too. Uh, he also did a sports bit. It was NBA, but he did like that'll move the trains. Remember, he was like this to kept yelling. That'll move the chains over and over. So love Andy Sandberg. Um, good. I have a couple of questions, what you're done. But by the way, I think apparently it was, it was more Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. Oh, that's what it was. Yeah, it was in the middle of all that. Yeah, they're good now. They're good, right. John's really Will Ferrell. Uh, that's high praise. That was the line from, uh, Nick Cage. Anyway, I want to give a shout out to some people because I had to cut so many. And this was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I base it in your life. I didn't do any football work this week. I was just doing trying to get shows. So hard. Uh, some, uh, I almost did the top 10 females because there's so much talent. Like I just, I didn't even know where to go. Heidi Gardner, Kristen Wig, Vanessa Bayer, Kate McKinnon, Sarah Sherman and other emerging superstar. I go know them. Fantastic. And then a couple, so I'm going back a little longer with some older with some of these, but I have to give Tim Robins in a shout out. Sure. He had a short run. Yes. I obviously we love him from, I think you should leave. Norm McDonald recipes, superstar and weekend update. Love him. Bobby Moynihan, Mikey Day, another breading star, Fred Armason, James Austin, Johnson, who's Donald Trump is unbelievable. Yes. He does that like basically every week. They put him in that position and he nails it. So, um, I can go on all day. I love this point. You've named the entire roster. I'm, no, I, not even close. No, didn't realize the legends. I, people right now have to be like, you miss like each of the top 20 all time. All the good ones of them, exactly. I mean, and I have, I sort of intentionally did that to focus on, um, like my favorites from my era. Look at that. Rob Monty. I knew this was going to happen, but that's not what this is. This isn't like, I'm not honoring legends here. I'm talking about my era. My favorites. Any Murphy. Obviously Rob Monty says if Rob Murphy, Eddie Murphy is a number one. Mike is wrong. No, Eddie, no, David Spade. Missed Adam Sandler. I was prepared for this. Farley. Scott McClory. That's not what we love. Scott, by the way, Scott's a huge, huge listener, especially strong. Amy love Kate McKinnell. I was going to say Kate McKinnell. I think could have been higher on that list. Um, Amy Polar, Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig, Adam Sandler. Great. But he is a beast. I love her. She's true. Guys interaction here. Adam Sandler and Eddie Murphy. Check done. Do you have a favorite, um, SNL bit? Do you have like a skit or one that like, just sticks in your mind as, uh, there's so many to there's too many of them. I feel like we'll Ferrell probably has the most memorable. Yeah. I think of like, Scott, you know, got like, gone all the way across any game show stuff is great. Um, David Pumpkins is, uh, appropriate, coming up here soon with Tom Hanks. The favorite favorite celebrity guest host, excuse me. Uh, okay. So one of the, uh, now one of the all time best skits is Nate Bargette when he was on doing George Washington. Yes. They did that twice. Yes. That was it. One hundred, that was a home run. That'll go down as a legendary skit. Uh, so you know, that's, that's got to be Peyton Manning when he guest hosted. He was, uh, this cast isn't as good as the old cast, but you just don't know the people yet. Yeah. And then you'll look back at that. with that cast and you're like, oh man, that was such a good run of people. I remember like the, the hater years with all them people and armassin and people are like, ah, it's not wears farly and wears all those got like, and now we look back and we're like, man, they're all super. So when you these are what? California's. Oh, good. Yeah. Oh, I don't know. What a, what a run they want to do. I don't want to do football anymore. I just want to watch some SNL on YouTube guys. Oh, yeah. Go watch them. Next Thursday. Thanks for hanging out with us. We will be back tomorrow. Enjoy Thursday night. Football. Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself. You deserve it. [MUSIC]
