The Two-Minute Drill Game Is ELECTRIC | Local Hour

The hosts of the show dive into the passionate world of football season, celebrating its emotional intensity and social impact. They introduce a new interactive game, "NFL Two-Minute Drill," which simulates real-game scenarios and has become highly addictive, allowing fans to experience the pressure of coaching in real time. A standout moment is the Florida Panthers’ dramatic, back-to-back hat trick by Brady Kachuk, which captivates fans and becomes a cultural highlight. The conversation expands to include personal reflections on attending games alone, with the group acknowledging that while social pressure exists, going solo is both valid and historically common. They also explore deep rivalries in college sports, particularly the Miami vs. Florida State and Miami vs. Notre Dame matchups, noting the latter's growing narrative significance due to scheduling and historical context. The show weaves in broader themes like mental health, fandom, and fan culture, emphasizing the emotional and psychological connections fans form. Through humor, nostalgia, and real-time engagement, the hosts highlight how sports are not just games but shared experiences that connect people across digital and physical spaces.

There is nothing casual about football season. You can tell yourself, you're just going to watch one game, and six hours later, you're emotionally invested in a fourth quarter between two teams you don't even care about! That's what I love about this time of year. The entire weekend becomes football. Your texts and friends, tracking games, second guessing coaches, convincing yourself you saw something before everybody else did. And then Monday comes around and you get to do the whole thing again. You saw the weekends you remember, and for me, some of the best ones have usually involved some good people, a great game, and a cold, Miller light. No matter what triumphs are in store this season, legendary game days start with Miller Light, cold, crisp, refreshing, that clean finish, and it's part of plenty of memorable football weekends. Make, game day, legendary. Go to MillerLight.com/Dand to find delivery options near you, or you can pick up some Miller light pretty much anywhere they sell beer. One time is Miller time. We are listening to the Don Leverter Show, in partnership with the DraftKin Sports app now live in all 50 estates. All right, we did it everybody, we made it to Friday! Woo! Yeah! How about that? Look it is Friday. Look at this crew here. I don't know if these group has worked together yet. We got Roy, and Jeremy, and Tony, and Mike, and we got Chris, and over in LA. We have Dave Damishek, hello, good morning, Dave. Zazla, what's the poop, fella? I'm happy to be here. I'm not always here on Fridays. You're going to have me actually on Fridays for the next few weeks. How about that? Well, hey, that's not nice. So we got a lot to get to here today. We got football from last night. We got all kinds of football coming up tomorrow with college football. Oh my God, what a night last night was. Oh, well, what an incredible night to be a Florida pant, their hashtag blessed. But I think the place we got to start, though, is I found a new game that I think once everybody learns about this game, it's going to be sweet in the nation. Baseball? No, listen, yes, and we'll get to the baseball. A more important game than baseball. You know what I'm talking about, Tony? I know what you're talking about. You don't have to mention it. Every now and then there'll be some, you know, like game or trivia that comes out on Al Gore's internet. Like, for a while, it was a maculid grid, right? Was everyone obsessed with a maculid grid when it first got its start with baseball? And then you had the football version and basketball maculid grid. Oh, it's great. You got wordle. You know about that wordle, New York Times, people like that kind of stuff. All right. It makes you think a little bit. Use the brain. I found a new one yesterday, which is going to sweep the nation, right, Tony NFL two-minute drill. Am I getting the name right? Yep. Two-minute drill. NFL two-minute draws. Anyone else? Dave Damace check. Have you heard about this game? NFL two-minute drill that you could play? I'm not aware of it. No. Okay. Tony, help me explain this. All right. It's, it's real game scenarios with, you know, about two minutes left in the game. Sometimes it's a minute 40, sometimes it's two and a half minutes. But the scenario is like, you have the ball, there's a certain amount of time left. It's a two-minute drill. This amount of time out is that kind of deal. But it's from a real game that has taken place over the last few years. And you get to be the guy who calls the place. It's, it's essentially, can you run a two-minute drill? I think we can play it live with Dave Damace check. We can give him the game scenarios and he can draw up the plays right now. Yeah. Did you, I said it to you yesterday, Mike. Did you play it? Yeah. I just, I just played it. It's cool, right? Yeah, yeah. Let's, let's try it with the game of check. It's so good. All right. So Dave, look. Here's your scenario. Okay. It's from 2024. You're looking at the screen. Week 13 bears at Lions. There's exactly two minutes left in the game. You're the bears and you're down by three. You have to check out how many timeouts you have. All right. You're the coach. You're the play caller. Timeouts remaining, okay? You understand the game scenario? You remember this game? Okay. I think so. Yeah. All right. Well, and like it said, I'm trying to look at it. I can't see it yet. Okay. I'm trying to do my bet. All right. And like it says here, you're calling the game for the bears. Can you do better than Matt Eberflust did? All right. That's the scenario. Okay. Blindly. I know I can do better than Eberflust. Okay. All right. Let's, let's get to it. Let's click next. Come on. Do it. All right. So here you go, Dave. Now, what do we got? I can't see anything. I thought somebody should have told me you were doing this. So I would know that's how I would have the ability to just pick a run, a pass, an RPO or a trick play. And then when you pick a runner or pass, you get to I can't see it. Delta Tashay do it. I literally can't see what. All right. All right. You could do this purple. I'm a chef. Terrible. Yes, Ann. Just shut up. Mike, you're up. I have no idea what to have. Run. All right. We're going to do a running play here. Let's pick the running play. Let's go outside. Running play. Now you got to pick what kind of run. Run outside. Run weak. All right. Outside. Run weak side. Let's see what happens here. I don't know if I like that place. Short start of the field. It's all right. I'm trying to. Oh, you're losing lots of yards. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Okay. Mike is not a play. Oh, my God. Now you got to go on defense. All right. Yeah. Well, I got two timeouts. All right. All right. What are you doing now? Come on. Let's go pass. All right. Oh, you recovered the fumble. Okay. Good. Passing play. I trust Keenan Allen here. All right. He feds a pass in a period. Don't compete. Don't compete. Don't compete. Don't compete. All right. Depass and you. Oh, overthrow. But that means the clock is stopped now. Okay. I'll go pass again. Clock is stopped. The minute 36 is left. Third. Third. Okay. I want Keenan Allen in space. All right. Let's see. All right. Here's the snap. He's rolling right. He's looking. Looking for Keenan Allen. Complete. Oh, first down. But the clock's running now. What are you going to do? I got a minute 30. We're going to go run outside strong. All right. Clock. You snap the ball at a minute 18. Clock's moving. All right. Running play. Clock's going to keep moving too. Ooh. Good run, Mike. Thank you. We're going on first down. All right. Where are you at on the field, though? You got to know. We're already in field goal position. Oh, yeah. Look at that. All right. Let's go to the clock a little bit. We got a minute 12 left. Let's go run inside. Yeah. This is a good game. It's wrong. Better when you can see it. Oh, shut up, Dave. All right. So here's the handoff. Oh, he's-- Oh, no. That's a loss. Tackle for a loss. But you're very much in field goal range. Yeah, yeah. All right, wait. What's it down? Are we third down? Yeah, third and two. Yeah, third and two. Let's go run. You want to milk the clock, right? Yeah, let's go run. Let's go outside. Run strong. Yeah, that makes sense. All right. Here we go. Third down. 40 seconds left when you snap the ball. Come on, sweetheart. Ooh, strong outside. Wrong. First down. Oh, and a little bit more. Okay. You know, Detroit. Detroit's kind of start worrying about timeouts here. I'll call timeout. Looks like you're at the 20-- there's 34 seconds left. You're at the 24. All right. Let's go, uh, RPO. Ooh, really? Mixing it up with an RPO? Wow. Strong. Strong side RPO run. Oh, right up the gut. Look at that. Look at that. First down a little bit more. Oh, he's tackled inside the 10. Clock's run in 27 seconds. Wait, what do I do? Let's go run inside. Strong. All right. You got one time out left. That's all right. Okay. All right. All right. Don't want the clock to run out on you. You're down by three here. There's a lot of jaded Daniel's impression here. Timeout. What's up five? Timeout. Call your last time out. Oh, my God. Six seconds. You're going to kick a field. You got to tie it, man. Yeah. You know what? Let's pass. Oh, you're going to go for it. I've got to go for it. All right. Last play of the game here. All right. Let me see the coverage here. They're loading the box. You're reading the defense. Are they loading the box? DJ Moore. Wow. This is a huge play. Wait, wait. No, Cole, come at. Cole, come at. All the tight end. What's up? You like that match? All right. Here we go. Last play of the game. Looking over the middle for a comment. You're broken up. Oh, you got two seconds remaining still. One second. Let's get through both. One second left. And we're going to go to overtime. You're going to kick the field at overtime. I'm at coaching. Good radio. All right. So there you go. You get the hang of the game now. All right. The game's going to overtime. Awesome. Tony, this is a good. I was playing this game for an hour straight yesterday. It's so fun. You just play game after game. It's real scenario. And when the game's over. They tell you how that coach actually did in real life. And it compares to the score and what you did. I'm addicted to this game now. Let's go pass. No, we're done with this, Mike. What? I'm in overtime. Hey, I got the ball away from Detroit. I scored with one second left. Do it on your own time. We have three hours of show. Let's just keep doing this over and over. It's really great. Hi, Tasha. I have two things behind my back, which one do you want to eat? I mean, what are we doing? Like to play this game that you can't see. The left hand. No idea what's going on. The left hand. What do you got? I don't remember. Choose. So this is. Come on. Do it. This is a good game. I'm flying this afternoon. I'm going to Austin, Texas for Florida Texas. All time on the plane. The whole time. This is what I'm doing on the plane. I'm playing NFL. Like you wouldn't. It's so addictive. Chris, did you know about this game before I brought up? I was playing my own game while you guys were playing that. It's great, right? - It's great. It looks like Hebrew fluis. - Yeah. That makes sense. So, let's get to some fun stuff, alright? Last night, the Florida Panthers. Oh my goodness. Dave Damishek, did you see what the Panthers did last night? I did not. I have, though, been following all of you guys for some time on social media, and I could tell something noteworthy happened because you were all swooning about. Oh, lady could chuck it so on. Well, two days ago, the Panthers are playing their ninth game of the season. They played eight games, okay? Two days ago. They played eight, no, six game of the season, and Brady could chuck has no goals. And Roy, like, this is just like an Ottawa. They're keeping track of this. They think it's funny, you know, that Brady hasn't done anything in these first six games, right? Yeah, and it's just on a public goal in Buffalo. Yeah, yeah, he had, he had a point, alright? He said no goals in the first six games. And then two nights ago, touchdown, baby, he gets a natural hat trick in the second period, and the Panthers smoked the Columbus Blue Jackets. And it's like, oh, that's a cool way to introduce yourself to the team. You're going to have a hat trick. Your first ever goal is a Florida Panther. And by the way, Matthew assisted on all three of those goals. He had five assists on the night. And then yesterday, you feel like, okay, cool. Your back home now is just the second home game of the season. And you're playing a lousy Vancouver team who the Panthers are dominating. They're dominating the entire game. But they're down to nothing in the middle of the third period. It's one of those stupid games where you're dominating and you're losing. And Kachak scores to make it to one. And then with the empty net with nine seconds remaining, Dave, who ties the game? Brady Kachak. And then in overtime, who wins it for the Panthers three on three? That's right. Brady Kachak, back to back games, natural hat trick for Brady Kachak, that shit was awesome last night. That was awesome. That was so much fun. Oh, Dave. I mean, you're a Panther fan now, right? Come on. Come on. I mean, listen, I really do think that it's a fascinating spot that Florida Panthers have suddenly found themselves in because with the two cups plus leaning into being, and I'm not saying this pejoratively, you guys are intentionally being a goon squad. Yeah. And so taking on that vibe too is going to make you load some two other fan bases out there. That's the spot that you're in down there in sunny Miami, Florida that everybody in the NHL hate you. Did anyone else go to the game last night? I was there. I was there in the press box. You were arguing about how much time was left when I told you that 12 point something seconds. That's something you want to argue about? Yeah. Yeah, there was 11 points. No, there's 12 points. I'll tell you what it says on ESPN, which is 1947, which means this is right, 12, 13, 12 points. No, 12 and change. 12. Yeah. So just the third player in NHL history to have a natural hat trick in back-to-back games, Brady Kachuk. Incredible. Such a fun ending last night. Lines just tied it. Now, after the game, Brady was super fired. Brady was super fired up with the third goal. He did the Oruzioni. You saw it, right? Where he was like, he was, he was running, yeah, he was running on his skate. He did the Oruzioni. Okay. So he was super excited and he's then sitting down with Katie Engelsen on the Panthers bench to talk about the win. So here is Brady Kachuk. This is after the game and Brady is, he's just so happy. Brady, you can feel the reaction from this crowd, chanting your name. What's going through your head right now? I'm just so grateful to be here. I'm truly blessed to play in front of the best fans in the NHL and how, how good is this? It's great, Brady. Dave. I looked at my son. I'm watching the game at my son right after he says I go, he's played two games in front of them. They were booing after the first period. It's played two games, two games, Mike, how good is NFL, two minutes real? I'm trying to beat some, some confusing people. We got one game going on right now. I'm playing my game. I don't care. 30, 33 minutes left, three minutes and 40 seconds left in OT. We both trade a touchdown. It's the best game. I can't wait for my flight. I'm glad. I'm glad I'm on a three hour flight. I like a single coverage here. DJ Moore. You know the brewers of the first game in postseason history to sweep the best of seven series and have a reliever get the win in all four games. Oh, word. Out on the road, it's nice to have a partner who could help you make the most of your journey. A partner like the Loves Rewards app with Loves Rewards along for the ride. I love me, some movies. I'm really excited about this new movie coming out called the Mosquito Bowl. It's the incredible true story of four college football stars who walked away from NFL careers after Pearl Harbor to go and list in the Marines from Friday night lights director Peter Berg and starring Nicholas Galatine, Bill Scarsgard, Ray Nicholson and Tom Francis comes a story of brotherhood and sacrifice. Four men who traded the gridiron for the battlefield. The Mosquito Bowl in theaters October 30th. Down Levitar. I used to say when I turn 80, all bets are off. That's when the heroin starts. But then I moved it up to 75 a few years ago. They didn't check. I'm thinking now 65 years of age. Jonathan Sassilo. I have a pact with a friend that if we both live until 90, we're going to do heroin. This is the down Levitar show. So Dave, I have, you might be disappointed in me here. Maybe you won't be disappointed in me, but I, I have to talk something out with you and the rest of the group today. So you notice how I act like great game to be at. You know, I told you yesterday, I told everyone I was making my season debut at Amerin Bank Arena, go on to the Panthers, all right? And Roy went to you is in the press box because he's a, a credentialed member of the hockey writers association and and Chris was at the game too. And you know, I, I was making my season debut. I didn't go. What happened? I didn't go to the game last night and here, I had tickets like they went to waste. And he, so here's where I need, I need your help. Okay. This is what happened. I go to the games of my son and he's, I, I knew it. I knew this the day before. I knew this was going to be an issue. He had a research project due today. He wasn't going to make it to the game with me like he just, he had to do his work. Okay. Okay. Fine. I'll ask one of my friends. Well, I have like two friends. All right. I don't have many friends. I have like two, like Chris, how many, how many friends do you have? That's a good question. 11. All right. Tony. How many friends do you have? Um, I've got like 40 friends. Like, okay, I, I, I, maybe I'm not answering this right. I have that many friends too. I'm talking about like guys that I go to a game with that you regularly hang out with. Yeah. Like 40 people. Really? Yeah. I've got three different subset group of friends that I hang out with. What you didn't like 11, you didn't like four, what number were, what number should I have said? Am I that? Dave, how many friends do you have? I understand what you're asking, Zazlow, it's a, it's a product of your age as you get older. Yeah. Exactly. But hey, let's go to the bar. I want to meet up in an hour and watch the game. That is so foreign to me in my life at this point, but it was obviously every night in my life, my 20. Right. Right. Like, yes, I have that many friends too, but friends that I hang out with, call up, hey, do you want, like I got like two friends. You guys have friends? See? There you go. Jeremy knows what I'm talking about. So I, I asked those two guys, both of them were busy. They were bummed. They couldn't go. And the question becomes, and I debated this, all right, should I have went to the game by myself? Like we go to movies by ourself, go to movies by ourself is fantastic, love going to movie by myself. Option to sell. I've been to concerts by myself, but am I going to the panther game by myself because I'm imagining someone's like, oh, there's Zazlow, by himself, what a loser. Like that's, that's what I'm imagining. I have an option for you. What? You throw it in the, uh, the puck hockey chat. What? The hockey chat. The, whatever. Puck you. Like our group chat. Hey, I got to ask who wants to go with me, but that's a dangerous game because there's a lot of people in that chat. You don't know most of them. You'll be going to the Ethan. You know, like Dave, you understand what should I have done? Should I have went to the game last night by myself? It's okay to go to the game by yourself. I in 1998 when McGuire and Sosa were at the height of their home run, uh, back and forth. I went to Riggly, the famous game by myself, because nobody else was available to go. I used to take the company tickets about like two hours before the game at Riggly day, day games. Obviously, the norm. I would go in in my corporate, uh, suit and tie job. I would say like, anybody take the tickets? Oh, I'll take a client. I would make up a client and I would take the ticket and I went all the time in 1998 during Sosa's home run chase. And I was there when Sosa took the lead and then the next half inning McGuire tied it and then hit another one in Xtrees to win it. I was alone. It was vaguely unsatisfying. But the big point is it's okay to go to dinner by yourself, certainly to go breakfast and lunch. I do that. I have done that many times. Movies, of course. Yeah. The question is, where do you come down on? I don't want to detour too hard here, but Roy, you're a legit. Florida pantsers fan, do you cheer in the press box? Because this is the thing that makes me crazy that it was like, "Oh, you made noise in the press box." Yeah, you know that in generations past, the guys used to throw on good drunks up in those press boxes. What happened, our society? No cheer in the press box, brother. Jeremy, put it on the pole. Should Zazlow have gone to the game by himself last month? I am with you, though. I'll go to a movie or a lunch. Great, by myself. I've never done a sporting event by myself. Love a movie by myself. Yeah, movie by yourself. Love it. Well, concerts good too. It concerts fine too. Yeah, concert by yourself. Yeah, it's alright. I've never done that one either. I've done it. People watching. I've done concert by myself before. Mike's on fire back there with him. I just won on overtime. That's a good game, coach. Hey, good game. What a play. It's a great game, right, Mike? I got it in the Mattieber Fluce. You did it. It's addictive. It's a Tony. How good is that? Who did I coach like? Does it tell me who I coach like? Scroll down. Steve Wilkes. Steve Wilkes and I lost. Okay. But you beat Mattieber Fluce. You took him to school. And it felt too mineral. Why is the press box been confused with Mount Pious? What is the thing about Tis Tis Tis people being happy? Feeling emotion in the press box. What's going on with that, Roy? You seem to toe that line willingly. It's a professional setting. They've shown bias. One of our former employees. One of my former employees. About the locals, the hockey team doing well. It's out of bounds to be like, yes, that's great. That that happened. You're human being after all, though. Well, what goes on with this inability to act like a human being when it's a sporting event. It's not a, it's not a poblatory investigation for goodness' sake. Well, I'll give you an example. One of our former employees during the Stanley Cup between the Golden Knights and the Panthers were Panthers jersey in the press box. They do them out. What did I miss? Are we the best fans of the NHL? We are the best fans of the NHL. Are we talking about that? We are. We did it. How good did you feel when Brady told you that you're the best fans of the NHL? You know, I've earned it. I thought that for quite some time. And then Brady confirmed it. And I was like, yeah, finally. Here, I topped the mountain. Best fan in the NHL. Yeah. That's right. Jeremy, put that on the poll too. Are we the best fans in the NHL? Got it. Yeah, there you go. You like when people lie to you? I don't know either. I don't even know about hockey, dude. I mean, I covered the first Stanley Cup run. You're not qualified. I'm more qualified than anyone outside of Ray. As the fish stripes told me, stay in your lane. Oh, I've got a whole thing for you on that. Oh, boy. So I did feel bad. Spare me. I did feel bad last night when in our hockey chat, I think maybe it was Ethan who then texted it last night and said, Zazlow, how loud was the arena last night? And I'm like, I didn't respond. Because I felt bad. Because I didn't go. And everybody thought that I was going. And I had every intention to go in. But I really just imagined sitting there and somebody is like, oh, there's Zazlow. What a loser he has no friends. And so I didn't go to the game. Boo. Yeah. I know. I felt bad. You're still the best fan in the NHL? Yeah. Congratulations, man. Jeremy, you got some observations from yesterday's show. You were not here. You got something to say? I do. Yeah. I, I, from the jump, just sort of going chronologically. I appreciated you guys admitting that you don't know what you're talking about on the Marlon stuff. And it was actually interesting, Mike, when, when you were talking and you were sort of setting up like the plight of this fan that's had to go through so many different iterations of convincing themselves that this is the time where it's going to work over the span of about 20 years. I was like, right. Sounds like being a Miami Hurricanes fan. Like for about 20 years, you had to convince yourself over and over again that this had coach and this regime was going to work out and eventually, you found the one. And so that's the belief now around the Marlins. This is the one because it's headed the right direction. They've got the most wins over a two-year stretch that they've had in 15 years. And so the hope, if you're a Marlon's fan, is that this is the time where it's headed that right direction. So, sympathico on that. It reminds me of the war in my mind. Also, if you're trying to play a Miami Hurricanes fan, by comparing it to a college team. This is a pro sport. Yeah, it's exactly the same thing. That would go cheap. No, you run an organization and at this point, they're trying to run their organization similarly to the three teams that are left in the MLB postseason right now. All right. And they competed with all of them. I'm not going to interrupt you the rest of the way. Welcome to the right side of analysis on the Miami Heat. That's another observation. I have one request. Yep. The way that you're delivering it. Change it. Cool. I've been there. Congrats. Welcome to my side of things. Dan was really obsessed with the idea of this duo falling apart after about 20 years. I don't understand why. Dan's ability to make it weird with the old kid on the block was amazing. He found a way to take an interview of someone that you knew personally. He's a good friend of mine. That was super comfortable. And he made it so uncomfortable. And I just love that. Danny does get the show by the way. Of course he does. Which is why it was even more impressive to find a way to make him uncomfortable as someone who got the show. Tony, I might need you to quit the raise, man. Oh, like I. I'm worried that converted. I'm worried that your conversion to the church of small ball may have cursed this team. You're welcome for the idea. I think I'm going to start a stub sack as well. Yeah, you can't. Yeah, I'm going to start a stub sack. Here's the problem. Hit me up. He said no more. I'm going to start one. And it's just going to be about. It's going to be reporting on Greg's sub stack and Tony sub stack. So if you want to subscribe, I'll let you guys. I tell you yesterday, my wife, my wife likes to watch the show every now and then. Okay. And she obviously wanted to see Noah Centineo. And we're watching the show yesterday. And she knows he wasn't on yesterday, right? Yeah, but you know, there are archives and you can go back to past shows. Do you understand how digital works? I don't know. Thank you. So they're looking pretty. So we were watching the show yesterday. And I like her asking me to explain what sub stack is. It was like the blind leading the blind. She has no idea. I have no idea. So how did you explain it? Like she's like, wait, sub stack. It's, how can he have a sub stack? And also he has a sub stack. And I'm like, so the way that I tried to explain to her was, all right, you know, like there's YouTube, right? And there could be YouTube.com levitard show. And there's also YouTube.com Zazlow show. We're both on this thing, you know, so that helped her a little bit understand. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, well, I'm going to start one. And it's just going to report on those two and the gossip between them. When we were talking about Peyton Manning in the end of his career, Dan brought up the whole excuse for the neck injury. The neck injury being that they were actually giving testosterone to his wife. And it just made me realize like how insane things have gotten in America. Because if that was the excuse in 2026, my God. Would the online rumor mills and the crazy conjecture from the right be just out of control? Like it was just such a normal thing. And it is a normal thing. Damn, that was such a brighter brain during that. And we were talking about Soul Buck and Troy Ackman and we got to testosterone and Peyton Manning's neck and Tom Brady. It was incredible. Okay. Yeah, it was a whirlwind of a trip through that. It was awesome. As just purely a listener that I really enjoyed it. This happened the other day too. Now that you mentioned that. This happened the other day too when Dan and all of us when we were talking about Brian Flores and the lawsuits. Yes. And instead it turned into a conversation about Tua and how terrible he is. It was amazing to kind of watch it go down several different directions and then ultimately make its way back to having a coherent point. And then finally we were you guys were talking about Pablo's story with LeBron and the helicopter and all of that stuff. And I happen to know that there are things that LeBron said to the heat that gave them real reason to question this stuff. All right. Well, this is where you now have to review. Like say something. No, it's happening. You can't say something like me. We do that on the show all the time. So I happen to know. I happen to know that there are some things that were there that it's not crazy that they are confused as to how he ended up in Philadelphia. What are the things? I'm not going to tell you. And this happens to know. Not revealing my sources. There's a notion here that all this is very sour grapes from us and that plays to that trope. That's why I'm doing the happen to know. Well, reach out to Pablo. I need to get along together. So tomorrow. Did you see what Carmelo said? It's something that everybody's been saying. Where are we going into tomorrow? 1 to 10. Super pumped for the- I'll answer your question. I think this is at about a six. Pretty low. Yeah, it's pretty- I can't really remember. There've been like matchups here where both teams are bad and it's been a noon start and they haven't been like super juicy. But I hasn't- I'm reveling in the fact that FSU is a 21 and a half point dog, right? I'll surprise it's a seven p.m. start. Well, they announced it two weeks ago and by then, FSU had just beaten Virginia and it looked like they were having a good season. And look at 14-0 against Louisville. You're like, all right, this game's got some serious things. And then the game just imploded for FSU. The storyline here is, can we beat them bad enough that they fire their head coach? That's not- That's the goal going into tomorrow. Fire the coach. The goal going into tomorrow. FSU and UM-Fans may be aligned on that one. Yeah, it is. Beat them so bad that every five-star recruit on that sideline that is in the house feels a pulsating, great game day environment because that's what hard rock stadium has become for Miami Hurricanes games. Like this isn't the ACC network. Is it good? The tailgate situation is good? The tailgate situation is going to be amazing. It's sold out. The parking has been sold out for weeks. If you look at the secondary market for parking, it's going for like 500 bucks. So like people know that this is going to be a party and I want it to be exactly that. I want it to be the FAMU game where you feel like you're scoring every time you're touching the ball. And you know, that's a mighty high standard to hold this team to when you're talking about one of its greatest historical rivals, Dave. I feel like there isn't. See, you just described it as a party upcoming and that's great, but is there some hate because that's what rivalries depend upon, but I also think and we are going to talk about it, Mike Ryan, making a visit on football America. I'm fascinated by the state of of this rivalry like for Tasha and for Chris Cody as a, for instance, do you feel viscerally wide right or is it more of an intellectual matter for you that you know it happened and it's a part of the law or is that or does that feed into the intensity of the rivalry in 2020? Well, don't don't ask Jeremy because I feel it hates you. No, I really feel Roy's probably Roy and Tony and I know Chris leans Miami, but Roy Roy's a pretty passionate Miami Hurricanes fan like I and you're of an age where you remember all those perhaps a little is a part of law is a part of rivalry, man. And I think about a lot including the right left one left was great. Most people don't understand that this rivalry, yeah, I don't like FSU, but this rivalry is different from the Florida rivalry where there is deep hatred for Florida going back to the Gator flop and the fact that Florida doesn't want to play Miami. Yeah, like Dave, if you asked most Keynes fans, what do they think of Bobby Bowden? Almost all of them are to tell you really. Yeah, I really like Bobby. He respected the opponent and there is more of a mutual respect amongst these two programs that certainly either has with with Florida and then ask that question about from Keynes fans about Steve Spurrier and like, no, hate that guy. Is that what it comes down to Zaz? Is it a personality thing when the heat of the rivalry depends upon to some the green college football is the face of your foe? I don't know. I'm inherently likeable. There was no way you could hate that guy. You could you could maybe laugh at him a little bit the way he was like, oh, shucks a little bit, but there was no way you could generate any dislike. Well, I don't I don't know about that. You're inherently unlikable. I don't know about that. Like Florida fans, like Florida, Florida state is a nasty rivalry. The same way that Miami, Florida is a nasty rivalry. But Miami, Florida state, I know the Keynes fan has respect for Florida state, even if you hate them. Is it the other way around too? Does I can't I can't I don't know. There are guys for FSU that have shined in the individual games. Remember this is a rivalry that has decided national championships multiple every year in the 90s. Yeah. These were top five guys like recent history where guys like Jalen Ramsey and Dalvin Cook and James Winston would just destroy you. They would win it. Kelvin Benjamin with individual efforts and and you're just like you tip your hat your hat to them. Like all those guys are badass football players in my mind. And they're just great moments in this rivalry. Yeah, you mentioned the kicks, but there's so many hits. Shantayla, Roscoe Parish nearly dying. So even Jacori Harris has come back. Shaki over the middle. Come on. That's that's my favorite game of the series and that that was all one, right? That that announced that Miami was firmly back. So now that Miami is back to being nationally relevant and they're a tire fire, I wanted to play out exactly like that. I want to be partying in my seats. I want to be high fiveing every five minutes because Malachi Tony's running in the end zone. I want them to be in total despair and all of us agree. Yeah, Norvell's got to go. I do for a national perspective because this is endlessly fascinating to me. Describe for me in the year of our Lord 2026. What are the hottest rivalries for Miami sports fans right now? I get the sense and I said it a couple. I love this question. The thing I don't think people really are tuned into because it's still I know it's as weird, but I'm giving you the national perspective. It's still vaguely weird that there's hockey at all in Florida. Let alone that it is the center of dominance in the last that they have the best fans and Florida. Also the best fans. I mean, it all goes hand in hand there. Zazlow chooses to ignore all of it and watch TV at home instead of instead of attending these games. I don't know what he's doing with himself. But either way, you're sad. I'm so what a loser. Like that's always afraid of, you know, you know, I would have a trickle is loser who drinks it goes against by himself. Yeah, of course, and here's what would have happened. Someone would have taken a picture and they would have posted posted on Instagram. Zazlow, I see you. You're by yourself. Like that's what happened. It had been on Twitter, you know, I don't know. Look at Zazlow's a drunk. Look at him. Look at him. He's so badly asked to get out of the house. So he'll drink by himself. I didn't want to go through that. All right, I think the top five hottest rivalries in the South Florida sports market right now in no particular order, Notre Dame, Florida Gators, Tampa Bay, Lightning, Carolina, Hurricane's, Boston, Celtics. All right, go slow. Go slow. Yeah, maybe my maybe my perspective is skewed as someone who won a war, a months long media war against the bald whites of Notre Dame. But I hate that program. I really do. And, you know, we won that one there. They're so smog and, you know, the the the racist undertones of the whole Catholics versus convicts thing that still rears its ugly head. I don't like Notre Dame Twitter. I don't like that program. I don't like that they tried to con their entire way into the college football playoff by avoiding the head to head and trying to deflect and point to other teams that they were better than and root for a buffer team like BYU out of here with that was such a loser mentality. I don't like them. And I'm glad that we're playing them in their barn. I want to shut them up. Give me the five again. Notre Dame, Florida, Tampa Bay, Lightning, Carolina, Hurricane's, Boston, Celtics. Isn't it amazing that nowhere on that list and it wouldn't be disputed by anyone either. Nowhere on that list is like Dolphins Jets. Like it's not even a thought. All of those. All of those you just mentioned there are are bigger rivalries right now than Dolphins Jets. Well, I would like to walk back a take that I had yesterday because I saw the feedback and Notre Dame fans vehemently disagreed. I think that there's so much juice when you consider the storyline the last year, the fact that these programs only play occasionally, but they're both. Do they have any more game scheduled after this year? Who? Miami Notre Dame. I'm sure. Okay. Yeah. Like that's part of the ACC agreement. We'll see how the reshuffling happens. But I think that there is a real chance on November 7th for this game to feel ultra special ultra toxic and you have two teams at the height of their games with one versus two and all the storylines going in the last year and that big moment, Dave, I think Notre Dame Miami is going to go up several notches. Well, you say is there another one scheduled perhaps not, but I'll tell you what I am rooting for. I mean, obviously I would like to see the Indiana Hoosiers against the pit Panthers for the national championship, but living in reality. I think a great result for college football would be a rematch. Let's assume Notre Dame and Miami when they hook up the first time is a quality game. Let's run it back for the national championship and at minimum change the story, change the narrative, the conversation for another offseason about big 10 versus SEC. How about neither one and you get this you restore the height of this rivalry, which really doesn't have it. One of my favorite spots in in the sports landscape high end rivalries that are not dependent on regionality rather just both teams being great like Laker Celtics and the 80s Steelers Cowboys in the 70s and so on. I think that was my preseason pick for the national championship actually Miami Notre Dame meeting for a second time. Can you imagine that like that? It's a great rivalry, but then you add both of them being a leap and a title on the line like that that that just goes that has a possibility to shoot up to number one rivalry. Zast answer question. Miami Notre Dame has seven games scheduled. The next one obviously is November 7th and they play again in 28, 31, 32, 34 and 37. Great. I think I think your rivalry that you guys aren't talking about except that you talk about it every Monday on the show is what is going your rooting interest for the dolphins and what the brain trust is doing on purpose losing games and yet you guys all seem confused by the fact that Malik Willis and the dolphins keep losing games. Yeah, that was the plan. Do you not believe in Halfley anymore because this is exactly what he wanted. This is exactly what they did. That's why they brought Malik Willis in. I know he's the sacrificial lamb, but this is going to plan. I don't know that he's a sacrificial lamb. Like I think even if you make the case, he doesn't have a lot around him, I think we've seen that he's also maybe just not good enough. Tony, you know that moment at a party or a tailgate where everything just sort of clicks. I know it well. It's usually when I show up, everybody goes crazy. Yeah, you usually take all the credit for it, but it's because Tony usually walks in with queer blocking like this. Yeah, yeah, yeah, queer vote is a thing that turns hanging out into this is the night. It has that effect on people. It does. You usually take the credit for it, but again, it's the queer vote of fact. It's like that moment in a big game where everyone in the crowd just starts standing up, hooting and hollering. Keep it queer vote. Keep it queer, baby.

FAQs

The NFL Two-Minute Drill is a game that simulates real two-minute drill scenarios from actual NFL games. Players act as coaches, calling plays under time pressure, making it engaging and educational. It's popular because it's interactive, strategic, and addictive, with real game outcomes compared at the end.

Yes, the game is designed to be played without visuals—players rely solely on their knowledge of game situations and strategy to call plays. This makes it a mental challenge and helps build real-time decision-making skills.

Brady Kachak scored a natural hat trick in back-to-back games, including a goal with just seconds left to tie the game and win in overtime. The game was emotionally charged, and Brady celebrated with excitement, including doing the 'Oruzioni' after scoring.

Yes, it's perfectly fine to go to a sporting event alone. The hosts acknowledge that going solo is common and even wise—like attending a historic game when no one else is available. They emphasize that it's a valid and socially acceptable choice.

The press box is a unique fan experience where people observe games from a professional, detached perspective. Despite the lack of cheering, fans like Roy feel emotional when they hear real-time reactions from players or when a fan's opinion is validated, such as being called the 'best fan in the NHL'.

The movie 'The Mosquito Bowl' is set to release in October 2024. It's based on the true story of four college football players who left their NFL careers to serve in the Marines during World War II, highlighting themes of brotherhood and sacrifice.
