What Caroline Levitt plans to actually do after leaving the White House and it's raising a lot of questions in Washington, DC, rightly so, given what Trump has said publicly recently, given what he's been posting on social media, it is pretty concerning. So I want to start with the last interview she just gave and this like super cut, this montage that Fox News put together honoring Caroline Levitt's time at the White House. So let's hear what this interview is all about, shall we? 100% Caroline, so this is your final day and we wanted to take a moment to reflect and go down memory lane. Here is from the first day of you being at the podium. Let's watch. We expect you to cover that as you should, Caitlin, but you and your network know that you take every single thing this administration says and tries to use it to make the president look bad. You're a left wing hack. You're not a recorder. You're posing in this room as a journalist. And it's so clear by the premise of your question. And so if there were peaceful protests on Saturday for the military parade, President Trump would allow that. Of course, the president supports peaceful protests. What a stupid question. My first reaction when seeing a former president Biden was speaking tonight was I'm shocked that he is speaking at night time. I have thought his bedtime was much earlier. Is now a member. Wow. I mean, you know, imagine this being your legacy. Just being a total douche bag transparently, like you're insulting journalists. You're up there making really weird and factually incorrect political points. Like imagine being rude. That's your legacy. Not a great, not a great legacy to leave behind for Caroline Levin at the White House. But she's smiling and Fox News loves that. They actually think that this is a good way to conduct yourself, which I think most people would say not quite. But that's the final interview she gave. She loves it. But there is a more disturbing reason. And a reason that seems to be playing out in public more and more, especially with what Donald Trump is saying, this is from the Daily Beast, the disturbing secret behind Caroline Levin's departure has been revealed. The swamp. This is like their daily newsletter can reveal that Caroline Levin has another reason for leaving the White House, apart from being a mom to her two kids. She is planning the future for Donald Trump. And you might be saying the future, what what future Donald Trump can't run for a third term, maybe in his eyes, he can, the 29 year old fire brand is returning to maggot ink the shadowy cash cow that has become the secret source of Donald Trump's hold over the Republican party with a $400 million war chest. Why does a pack for a sitting president who's a lame duck have $400 million? And why is that pack still raising money? The big question being asked in Washington's corridors of power is why such an unprecedented amount of cash is being raised for a lame duck president. The real concern being whispered about is that Trump is secretly plotting a constitution busting campaign to run for a third White House term. Now normally, at least historically, when a president is in office and they are either a lame duck or in their first term, they're not really raising money for themselves around the midterms. They're raising money for the party. I mean, they want to give to vulnerable seats in different states, swing districts, swing states to maintain control of power, that's normally what happens. But Donald Trump isn't doing that. He's raising money for himself. He's still holding these fancy, schmancy, million dollar seat fundraisers at Mar-a-Lago or whatever it is, which is raising a lot of questions. Machine gun leaps, which is a nickname that Trump gave Caroline Levin, is the latest senior administration figure to join MAGA ink, an organization that is growing in power with Trump controlling the purse strings. After nearly two years as White House press secretary, Levin is returning to the superpack where she worked as a spokeswoman in 2023 before joining Trump's 2024 campaign. And of course, becoming his press secretary, but Levin is reentering a very different operation to the one she left. MAGA ink filing show that by February, the group had raised a whopping $305 million since Trump's victory five times the previous record for any president in the year after an election. Probably because donors are scared of Trump coming after them, but so far, it has barely spent any of the money. Which raises an obvious question, what is happening to all of that money? Where's it going? Why is it just sitting there? MAGA ink has largely sat on its fortune while Republicans facing competitive races, wait for the billionaire president to open the checkbook. This week, the group finally made one of his biggest interventions of the cycle, spending more than $800,000 to boost Darlene Graham, the sister of the late senator Lindsey Graham and check out who's been filing MAGA ink's coffers. The largest donor is Forest Dax, the parent company of crypto.com, who has given the pack about $35 million, other major donors are folks you can see right here, but the question is why? Why is all this money just kind of sitting there and why is Donald Trump still raising all of this money? Well, it seems like he's kind of making that known to the public. Caroline Levit was just asked today, actually, the president amplified a post that said, I don't think the GOP fully graphs how badly they are effing up right now. Is he washing his hands over Republicans? Levit saying the president is wholeheartedly committed to helping Republicans across the board, but it doesn't really seem like that's the case, because Donald Trump is posting things like this. A repost from a MAGA account saying, I don't think the GOP fully graphs how bad things are right now and how bad they're effing up. I'm talking to people who normally have zero interest in politics who are pissed off. They're not seeing the MAGA reform they thought would happen and are really mad about it. No accountability, no mass deportations, yada, yada, yada. But Donald Trump is posting this about his own party. Kind of seems like Trump is trying to distance himself from the unpopular Republican brand, not give them any money, and kind of protect himself. At least that's what it appears to be. Donald Trump also saying in a recent interview that voters are angry at Republicans, they're not angry at him. Which obviously is kind of a stupid thing to say, because Donald Trump is the Republican president, he is the Republican party, but it kind of seems like a deliberate effort from Trump to distance himself from Republicans and not take any accountability for the many issues. The question is, will they vote? Because a lot of them are very angry at Republicans, to be honest with you. Why is that? I don't know. I mean, they're angry at Republicans, but they're not angry at me, but they are angry at Republicans. Everyone's always angry. There are some. Get down there. The House Republicans are out running Donald Trump by nine points, although they're both doing poorly. But the bottom line is this. When Donald Trump says that voters are angry at Republicans, not him, that simply put is not the case looking at the data. Voters who want Congressional Republicans to do more to stand up to Trump or work with Trump. 56% say more to stand up to Trump. That's what they want Congressional Republicans to do compared to just 35% who say they want Congressional Republicans to work more with them. As I said at the top here, what we're dealing with is Republicans are getting dragged down by Donald Trump, not the other way around, and indeed among independents what we're seeing is 65% they want to say they want Congressional Republicans to do to stand up to Trump. Isn't that something? Isn't that so Trump, number one, it's not true. I mean, you know, people are pissed off at him. Even more so, at least according to the numbers, then they are Congressional Republicans. I think there's equal responsibility there, but that's besides the point. He's in these interviews saying voters are angry at them, not me, not me, as he's fundraising money for himself and not them. Like what is going on here? And it kind of explains why Trump's own advisors are saying, you know, he's kind of lost interest in the job. He doesn't want to campaign for Republicans. This is the Daily Beast as well. Anonymous AIDS tells CNN that Trump will finally embark on a long awaited tour to energize mega-voters, but that traveling across the country to stump for other politicians is not part of the job that he enjoys. He loves to travel, but hates it. They added once he's traveling, he's like, why am I doing this? I want to be doing other things. The report on Trump's reluctance to hit the campaign trail comes as he finally gives the OK for Republicans to use millions from his personal pack to support vulnerable Republican candidates in November. But even then, that giving them the OK is very late, normally that happens much earlier in the cycle. And he's not opening them up to the amount of money that normally a president would if they're sitting on $400 million. So a lot of questions here. He doesn't want to campaign and Donald Trump wants all of the midterm ads to be about himself. He wants his team and Maggie Inc. this shadowy group to not by midterm ads highlighting Republicans and their policy positions and how that might help Americans, it won't, but how it might and their eyes, he wants them to buy ads about himself on his own record, which is bound to backfire because his record is the economy sucking, war in the Middle East, covering up the Epstein's files, spending a bunch of money on things we don't need and cutting programs that people rely on. That's his legacy. That's his record. So this is going to backfire. But why is Donald Trump so insistent on advertising himself to the American people when he's not running? You know, he doesn't have another election to run. It kind of raises the concern that maybe he wants to do it again. Maybe he wants 2028 and he hasn't really been subtle to put it mildly. I mean, this is the kind of stuff that he's been posting on social media, Trump 2028. That's just an example. August 7th. That was this month. Here's another one that he's posted this month. Another Trump 2028 poster, make America great again, MAGA 2028, or even this one, you know, this was back in July, but it's a mug Trump 2028 on it. So he's not, you know, there's this concern in Washington, D.C. that Caroline Levin is going to MAGA Inc. And that's for a deliberate reason for Donald Trump's future and the raising all this money for deliberate reason and their speculation that it might be that. But Trump is also kind of telling us that that's what he wants to do. So something to keep in mind, I will continue to track Caroline Levin's moves if there's anything significant following her departure from the White House. But I will leave the video there.
