Speaker 2uh busy dave i think everyone i talk to says the same thing though because it's just that time of year when there's a lot going on and racing so yeah non-stop but it's good uh now
Speaker 1tell us what have you been up to of late you've been doing a lot of stuff on sky racing sky thoroughbred
Speaker 2central yeah so i'm a part of um their show first up the everest um with julie snook and brad gray so i do uh reporting out in the field which is really exciting it's so fun every week i get to go out and talk to just any anyone in racing that has interesting stories to tell whether it's jockeys you know trainers um syndication owners anything like that so yes it's been very fun i'm actually right now i'm pulled up on the side of the road um near bimberdeen park which is uh olympic eventer shane rose who he's actually a part of racing because he does pre-training and spelling and i'm about to talk to shanae lowings who has horses in the equimillion which is this weekend so that's part of the show on saturday as well so lots going
Speaker 1on good stuff now your trial is uh have you got anything for uh the black book to follow or uh anything popping up before we look at adding these
Speaker 2horses um well we actually were i was going to mention we had a winner it was a main stay it was a horse we had go in um a few weeks ago paul mazara and leah gavronix horse it was a gelding that was a four-year-old um that was unraced and it came out and won very well it's going over the 900 meters um last friday so our black book's been going very well we don't actually have anything accepted this week so we'll just have three to go into our black book to watch

Speaker 2right so let's go so the first one for our black book this week was at rose hill um on the tuesday uh it was in the heat six open 900 meter trial it's a horse called why so hard trained by the hawks team at rose hill um it's a three-year-old all too hard uh it's only had the one start for one win um it's come back from the spell uh this horse in this trial was back seven lengths off them it finished fifth in the trial um but made up a lot of ground um when they straightened up and it's got quite an explosive finish and that's sort of its racing pattern as well it gets back and runs on um finished off really nicely in the trial it had generosity um which is a nice chris waller horse that's won a group two sitting inside it and i thought they were both traveling as well as each other going across the line the hawks team always like to be patient with their horses so i can imagine it will be having another trial before it heads to the track um yeah so i'm going to go ahead and show you the horse and i'm going to show you the horse yeah so that's a really nice horse to keep an eye on why so
Speaker 1hard okay why so hard our first one what else have you got for
Speaker 2us then we've got at the beaumont newcastle on wednesday last week in heat 10 um which was a maiden trial over the 800 meters is a horse called tennessee river trained by ton hell todd hallett um reese jones rode this horse this more uh this day at the trials it's a three-year-old filly that's also had one run and ran fourth um in the woodlands listed races at scone in may it also has come back from spell it won this trial this morning at the beaumont quite easily as well it was back midfield three lengths off them um and then when they straightened up reese just peeled out um and gave a clear running and she just pricked her ears and and um lengthened out really nicely and i think what stood out to me the most about this horse was when she crossed the line um not only was she just doing it really easily but she just looks like a really happy horse um and clearly has ability so that's one to keep an eye on tennessee river i would also assume i could be wrong but i'd be assuming this horse will also be having another trial before it heads to the races
Speaker 1now uh have we got anything else or is that it i think there's three isn't there yeah there's
Speaker 2three fab books this week so the last one to go in was at ranwick um last week on the friday he ate open trial 740 meters this horse is just trialed because it was sent back um for an embargo it had race day um it's called my juju trained by jim and greg lee regan bayliss rode it that day um it had its first start at kembla three weeks ago where it actually got the embargo because of its racing racing manners it ran second but it laid out a lot in the straight um so yeah they stewards obviously made the decision to send it back to the trial but at ranwick when it trialed last week it was sent back to the trial last week it trialed really nicely and didn't do anything wrong um traveled straight uh didn't hang at all and it looks really nice when it went across the line um it did have a three kilo claimer that day at kembla um so you know maybe if you see it go to the races with a senior on board i'd be much more confident it's nominated to run at kembla this week um on thursday so it does look like a nice horse hopefully it just doesn't do that again race day so that's my juju and that's our last horse to go and
