And so today, we are going to be reading one of those very special books that we got in the mail and we are dedicating it to our very special, subscribing members. So we hope you're listening, Todd and Mika, Koji, Andrew, Theo, Haseya, Chloe, Ollie, Elliott, Quinn, Bowden, Calum, Amelia, Leo, Anna, Willow, Avery, and Iris. This one is for you. It's called The Three Little Bigs Build Their Houses with Mommy Pick. Written by our new friend and author, Becky Miller. Are you ready? - Get cozy. Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. They were all growing up and decided it was time to go out and build their own houses. But none of them had ever built a house before. So they asked their Mommy Pick to join them at the hardware store. Mommy Pick joined her first little pig, Johnny, in aisle one. Johnny said, "I think I'm gonna make my house at a hey. What do you think, Mommy?" "Well," said Mommy Pick, "do you think a hey house would keep the rain out?" "Probably not," said Johnny. "Do you think a hey house will keep the wind out?" "Maybe," thought Johnny. "Do you think a hey house would keep out a big bad wolf if one should happen to stop by?" "Definitely not." "So what do you think?" asked Mommy Pick. "I think I'm gonna keep thinking," said Johnny. "Good idea," said Mommy Pick. And off she went to check on her next little pig. Mommy Pick joined her second little pig, Sarah, in aisle two. Sarah said, "I think I'm gonna make my house at a sticks. What do you think, Mommy?" "Well," said Mommy Pick, "do you think a stick house would keep the rain out?" "Possibly," said Sarah. "Do you think a stick house will keep the wind out?" "It might," thought Sarah. "Do you think a stick house would keep out a big bad wolf if one should happen to stop by?" "No way!" "So what do you think?" asked Mommy Pick. "I think I'm gonna keep thinking," said Sarah. Mommy Pick joined her third little pig, Jamie, in aisle three. Jamie said, "I think I'm gonna make my house at a bricks. What do you think, Mommy?" "Well," said Mommy Pick. "Do you think a brick house would keep the rain out?" "Yep," said Jamie. "Do you think a brick house will keep the wind out?" "Mmm, for sure," thought Jamie. "Do you think a brick house would keep out a big bad wolf if one should happen to stop by?" "Move," of course. "So what do you think?" asked Mommy Pick. "I think I'm gonna build a brick house," said Jamie. Mommy Pick joined her first little pig, Johnny, again, in aisle four. Johnny said, "I think I'm gonna make my house at a steel. "Do you think a steel house would keep the rain out?" "Most definitely," said Johnny. "Do you think a steel house will keep the wind out?" "Absolutely," thought Johnny. "Do you think a steel house would keep out a big bad wolf if one should happen to stop by?" "Without a doubt." "So what do you think?" asked Mommy Pick. "I think I'm gonna build a steel house," said Johnny. And off she went to check on her last little pig. Mommy Pick joined her second little pig, Sarah, again, in aisle five. Sarah said, "I think I'm gonna make my house an underground earth house." "What do you think, Mommy?" "Well," said Mommy Pick. "Do you think an underground earth house would keep the rain out?" "It would be nice and cozy," said Sarah. "Do you think an underground earth house will keep the wind out?" "It will blow right over it," thought Sarah. "Do you think an underground earth house would keep out a big bad wolf if one should happen to stop by?" "He wouldn't even be able to find it." "So what do you think?" asked Mommy Pick. "I think I'm going to build an underground earth house," said Sarah. "And off they went to find the rest of the family." After a few months of hard work, the three little pigs each moved into their new homes. They were all safe from the wind, rain, and the occasional big bad wolf. Even though they all lived apart now, the little pigs made sure to get together with Mommy Pick every chance they got for tea and desserts. The end. Mmm.
