The Summit of Steves: Share & Doppelgänger & Tell (Halloween Edition) with Michael Cruz Kayne and Katie Nolan

Pablo Torre’s episode explores the fascinating and increasingly common phenomenon of doppelgangers, using real-life examples like Steve Kerr and Steve Gillis to illustrate the parallels between appearance and identity. Despite Steve Gillis having no intention of resembling Steve Kerr, their shared look and a serendipitous encounter at a Warriors game—where he wears Kerr’s jersey as a gift—lead to an unexpected and humorous connection. The episode delves into how such similarities spark real-world interactions, culminating in a group chat between the two men that becomes unexpectedly active and meaningful. Alongside the personal story, Torre addresses broader issues of identity in the digital era, such as AI-generated scams, deepfakes, and impersonations—like those involving celebrities or fake websites—that challenge trust and authenticity. The narrative is enriched by references to other doppelgangers, including celebrities like Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian, highlighting the growing legal and social tensions around likeness and impersonation. The episode also includes lighthearted Halloween traditions and a playful "summit of the steves," emphasizing the blend of humor and reflection. Ultimately, it serves as a commentary on how identity is becoming fluid in a world shaped by technology, where appearances, connections, and authenticity are constantly in flux.

I was like hell yeah was the guy you met this guy It was something called the Pablo Torrey. Where's Pablo podcast? Pablo Torrey has this podcast. Where's Pablo and it's very good. Yeah, he's won awards recently won the Ed Merle Ward for reporting and journalism and I happened to watch it today, and I was thinking if Barbara were here I would encourage her to either have Pablo Torrey on this program or to make her program more like the Pablo Program. He's like, where's Pablo? This is what Dave Letterman. I think is is What is what is that? What is that that I just that is David Letterman's YouTube channel? Okay, and how dare you not know that as a former resident of the same building that David Letterman? I love it more than a door to the alumni of the Ed Sullivan theater. Yeah, we're sort of in the same category People think of us and this in the same breath for me for certain sorry from me for me for certain I just hadn't seen that set before. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you call this in here to show us a day of Letterman likes your show That's about and that's the episode. That's awesome. That's spooky. Very spooky. It's a spooky time Yeah, by the way speaking of Halloween costumes. Did you guys see Bizarro Steve Kerr? I did it and I saw Steve Kerr see the Steve Kerr Warriors Lakers and he's wearing a quarter zip and athletic pants and it's just like Steve Kerr the last is the same He sees him and he goes is that Is that me? It's like it's like his looper. Yes, but from not even that like from a week ahead. Yeah, yeah, yeah, a week you go Steve needs to stop Present day Steve. Yeah guys. I don't know. What do we think about things? Oh, wow, that's so that's as close to a no as you get I think great. I think actually great. I think it's really fun I just can't tell if I'm wearing it right or wrong and and I'm just gonna get clown I think as you contemplate being a list of lose doppelganger. Mm-hmm. I want to give you a little more detail on The other Steve. Oh, please so other Steve's name also Steve Holy something's going on in his name is Steve Gillis Mm-hmm. He's an English teacher it turns out at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas BJ other Steve also a coach it turns out is a youth volleyball coach on the staff of the US men's national team He's a legit head coach and he also agreed to take my call earlier today. Okay Thanks for joining us noted Steve Kerr doppelganger Steve Gillis This is the best part of my day talking to someone cool with those sports because I could talk any sport anytime any day Or him in a way or Shakespeare Where do you want to go Pablo? Look, I'm not I I'm not here to tell you what to do Or how to dress or how to cut your hair Which happens to be in the style of Steve Kerr to such a degree that it makes me think that you bring a photo of Steve Kerr into the barbershop and say I would like to look like Like myself, but what you know the hair feels like a bit of a tell You know, I'm just saying Here So so what are the things I need to tell you fair what are the things that you tell you about other Steve is that other Steve is very Insistent that he's not trying to look like Steve Kerr. Okay, that it's just happening He's not dressing up like him. He's not wearing the same haircut not wearing all these sort of like coaching outfits because Steve Kerr does it and I did not believe him that came through Really came across and and it occurred to me as you saw the background. Did you see pictures? Yep, so it this turns out to be the other Steve's classroom. Oh, he's at school and This figured it during our conversation We have a five minute passing period, right and a kid'll walk in at this phone because kids had to have phones here except When they put them back in their backpack and exit, right? They are it's full of confiscation here, which is a great thing. Yeah, but then when they take their phone and they walk out I've had six kids and I don't even teach them and they walk and they go hey Mr. Gillis Can we take a quick selfie and I say no, we can't because you need to get to class in go and so I Have actually kind of squashed the topic Sumerally, yeah here at school because I've got a job to do and it does not include anything with with Steve Kerr Fortunately, I wish I could but that's not my one get paid. I got to talk Shakespeare today He's an English teacher as well. It's like I'm talking to Steve Kerr I honestly the even the way he goes right so walking down the hallway and here's what happened I'm like, okay, Steve Kerr and when he tilts his head downward a little bit. It's really Steve Kerr You notice when he was first doing the interview it was a little like this Hello, Pablo. It was a side profile a bit you to quote Shakespeare and me thinks the Steve Kerr doth protest too much Well done well done. What's in a name? Well Steve by any other Steve a Kerr by any other name would Smell just as sweet well also would sound to Katie's point like Steve Kerr. Yeah, it does How has anyone told you that you kind of sound like Steve Kerr? No, I've never heard that And I don't know him well enough to know if that's true it to me if that that's complimentary I don't know if it's true. I doubt it is, but uh, I don't know if that's to be true I might be a bit spooky around these times and maybe I'm just like caught in in a certain spell here I do want to point out that I found it very funny though that when you showed up at that game. You were wearing like a quarter zip and athletic pants. - I'm a coach. - Okay, that's too shy. - No, let me build that one out because it's a fair suggestion. Like, were you angling? Were you trying? I'm the guy that films it and watches timeouts. And I watch how people that are great at their craft communicate to their players. I could show you probably 20 either pictures or a quick little video of timeouts and pregame and watching how they interact. - So you're saying you're watching all coaches, not just the coach that you happen to look disturbingly like. - Right, 100%. - Steve Kerr, I mean, sorry, Steve Gillis is very, very insistent that am I taping Steve Kerr, yes. Am I taping other people very importantly? - Also, yes. - Also, yes. - Also, yes. And one of the things that I was doing was watching the video on loop of Steve Gillis because at some point, what do you notice? - Beer, something else in his hand, a jersey. - And also it's like a hard case. - I also noticed that in one hand is the beer. In the other hand, seem to be something quite interesting for Mr. Gillis. - Follow up question. - Sure. - You were holding something in your hand. Steve Kerr's jersey, his 25. - So what the fuck are we doing here, Steve? - Well, you're the Catholic Prep School Environment Pablo. Please mind your tongue. - As a Jesuit educated individual, I retract. - Jesuit, look at you. - Don't distract from the question, sir. - You clearly didn't take Pablo. - This is not about me and our God. This is about the truth. Why is the guy who did tests being Steve Kerr, holding Steve Kerr's jersey? What feet separating him from Steve Kerr? - A dear friend. And he happens to be in immediate business and as much as I can say, dear dear friend, gave me that jersey and I've coached his daughter, gave me that jersey as a gift after I coached his daughter and it's been hanging up in my closet and I took it because you know what? In the off-chance at a pre-season game, in the off-chance that I might be able to see, coach Kerr. (laughing) - I did ever show up in my pocket as well. (laughing) - Oh, man. - Sick. Good question. - He's got great seats. - That color on you is very nice. - The orange, thank you. - Yeah. - Halloween. - Halloween. - And really brings it. - The autumn really brings it out of you. - Yeah, I agree. Steve Gillis got great seats to that game. We're talking about that. Was he just, he was, he was, he rolled in every one. - Very noticeable. - That's too, as well. - Yeah. - Dude has really good seats. Very close proximity to the guy that he says, he's not necessarily trying to be boxed up. He has all this. - The man whose life he's trying to steal. - Yeah. - Trying to tell that Mr. Kerr, Steve Kerr. - Steve Kerr. - Steve Kerr. - He also wanted to say, I asked him like, so have you made eye contact with Steve Kerr? And he said, well, it's sort of like, you know. - I can't because there'd be a rip in the space time continuum. - They say that's against the rules. - He did say that he has gotten eye to eye. Nathan Field or Elizabeth Holmes style with Steph Curry. - And what it told me about Steph Curry is what a professional he is. 'Cause he does-- - He mentioned that he had an experience with this guy. - Okay. - Federer, beautiful. - Do we think Federer absolutely thought that was just Steve Kerr? - Absolutely. - Yeah, there's no way he was like, oh, you're that guy who kind of looks like Steve Kerr. He probably said, Steve Kerr, let's take a picture. - I think it's possible that Federer is omniscient and did know that Federer was like, Federer is also like unstuck in time. And I was like, this is the guy that looks exactly like Steve Kerr. - We had to fact check this. I have this photo of you with Roger Federer and he looks thrilled. - Oh, this is the best. This is the best story of the night. My all time favorite athlete is Roger Federer. I'm not a tennis guy. I'm a tennis hack. I'm a sport fan across any platform, sport. You name it, I love it. But I've loved Roger. He's number one, number two is Steph because both of them exemplified to me what a modern, brilliant athlete is. Family is first, they have achieved the highest levels of their craft. And everything they do is seemingly Van Gogh or Rembrandt. So I'm walking out, I'm holding my phone, kind of like right here, and with my daughter. And Roger Federer had Courtside seats and I didn't know he was there because he was seen on the big screen. And he's there right next to Joe Lakeup and wife. And they walk up and somehow Joe Lakeup got kind of separated from Roger, I think. And Roger takes the phone off my chest and turns and takes a picture and says, "Thank you." He puts his arm around me, does like a double pad. - Oh, it was a double pad. - The double pad. You enjoy what you want, but clearly, there was some mistaken recognition of what the situation was because I just got a picture with my favorite athlete of all time and I didn't even bargain for it. - You felt no need to disclose that you're not the guy that Roger Federer maybe thought you were. - It was nine seconds, a whole cluster of people are going back and forth. I am usually not at a massive loss for words, as you can see. But in that moment, all I could do is say, thank you. Federer thought he was Steve Kerr and didn't disclose it. - I wouldn't either. What an uncomfortable conversation I have. - What are the responsibilities around a double gang? - Well, this is kind of fun 'cause did you guys ever see the Taylor Swift stuff? There's a girl who's like, just Ashley, I believe is what she goes by because people would always freak out that it was her that it was Taylor Swift when she would show up places. And I think at one point when somebody chased her down, she said very famously, like, nope, just Ashley, there's also an Ariana Grande one. Paige Neiman is the other Ariana Grande. - We should get them all together. Fake Steve, fake Ariana, and fake Taylor Swift. We could do a lot of crimes, but there are a lot of crimes we could do. - Didn't Old Navy get in trouble once for using a Kim Kardashian doppelganger to sell their clothing? I believe they went to court over this. - Yes, Jim Kardashian. - Kim Kardashian filed a $20 million lawsuit against Old Navy and his parent company, the gap incorporated in July 2011 over commercial titled Super C-U-T-E. ♪ 'Cause I love C-A-T-E, whatever my locale ♪ ♪ When I get a manny pay or a rookie now ♪ ♪ Super C-U-T-E ♪ - I believe the allegation was like, this looks so much like me that if you didn't know it wasn't me, it's basically an endorsement that I never gave. - Doesn't seem right. - It doesn't seem right, babe. - Melissa Molinaro is the Brunette reality star in that ad. - She is a reality star? - Apparently. - You might know her from the Kardashians? - Keeping up with the Kardashians, it's just her trying to be them. - She's perhaps best known for a reality TV appearances on Making the Band 3 and Pussycat Dolls present. Colin, the search for the next doll. - Which I obviously watched every episode of, so how did I miss this? - She co-starred in Dolls, Lundgren's action film, Command Performance, which we saw together in theaters. - And had a major role in Honey 2. - Honey 2. - Honey 2 happened. I thought Honey people went like, "Eh." - Dude, honestly, I can't make fun of that. That's great. - Honey 2. - What I wanna know is what is it meant, what does it, so she did win, didn't she? - So, Kim won. - Kim Kardashian, this is the headlight from the Hollywood report. - I bet they settled. - Settles lawsuit over, look alike an old Navy ad, or rather, he's exclusive. The reality TV star suit last year, for $20 million in litigation that became personal. Yeah, damn. - So don't go looking like Kim Kardashian. - Yeah. - It's gonna get harder as everyone's face starts to look more and more the same. - Yeah, when you go to the place, - When you all use that same surgeon, so that's gonna get real dicey, I feel, in recent upcoming years. Oh, it's something to look forward to. - We will get to that. - Wee! - The bizarrows though, the doppelgangers. Yeah, this is a whole industry. Katie has an encyclopedic knowledge of many of them, apparently. - Yeah, you do know a lot of doppelgangers. - I've been to stuff on the internet. What can I say? - What I wanted to do was eventually, that Steve Gillis get back to teaching. Now that I've done the background check, I'm on your side and I want this to be as uncreepy as possible, but as fruitful as possible. - And don't say they weren't creepy please. - We're gonna workshop it. There is at the end here, Mr. Steve Gillis. There is a Shakespeare quote that, of course, I think of, and it is hamlet. It is act one, it is scene three, and it begins this above all, to thine own self. - Be true. If I put you and the other, Steve, on a group chat. - Yes, 100% Pablo. - Okay, okay. - If he's willing, of course. - We're gonna find out together if he's willing. We're gonna find out together. - Really? - Yeah, I mean, we're just gonna add 'em and see what happens. - Oh my God. - What are the ethics around? - No, that's, you're not. - Putting Steve Kerr on a group chat against his will will. - You violated that. - Well, that is enough. - I should presume that it's against his will. Maybe he's open to it. - Maybe, but that's not you ask. You don't just presume can see it. sent you ask for it and then you give them the number. - No, Steve got us this chill, you could do it. You could do it. It's the rule of Steve. - Other, other Steve is chill as hell, you could do it. - I bet they would get along. If you added me to a group chat and said, "Hey, Katie, just tossing in here with a gal "who pretends to be you and me." - Allegedly. - "Who might creep you out? "I would go well down, even if I don't like this, "they have my number." - But couldn't Steve Kerr have use for the other Steve? - Which is why you could ask Steve Kerr if he'd be interested. And I will say in my limited interaction with Steve Kerr, I bet he'd be fine with it. Ask him though. - You don't have to ask him. - You gotta ask him. - No, you can just do it. And Steve Kerr, if you have a problem with it later on, you can come back and I'll tell you what, you can blame Katie. It's Katie's fault. - Steve Kerr called me funny once. - He did? Well, that's nice. - Yeah. - Are you sure it was Steve Kerr? - Were you doing something funny on purpose? - I think so. I think it was being funny. And he was on remote and then when he got up to walk away, he was like, "She's really funny." He was leaving and I was like, "Leave that in." - Yep. - "Leave that in." - Bye, thanks. - Oh my God, she's a liar. - You know what would be fun? I think I do think Steve Kerr's the kind of guy who I think this was chill. I think she put his number in the comments of this. - Yeah. - Just put it down there. - We just put it on. - So I want to work out what does the opening text be? - Hello, Steve's, some of that. - Steve's, I've gathered you here. (laughing) - A hoi, Steve's. (upbeat music) - Look, for legal reasons, I suppose, this is where I should probably disclose that I myself have a doppelganger. I know what it's like. My doppelganger actually became a friend, eventually in real life. So shout out to actor and comedian and writer Andrew Lopez, who you may recall from his transcendent performance in the Bayer and also from this very studio. Bro, we fucking rock, dude. (laughing) But that, in the end, isn't exactly how my new group chat with Golden State Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr went because it turns out that I had no idea how Steve K felt about Steve G, whether Steve K agreed in the first place that Vegas area English teacher, Steve G, even looked like him. And it also occurred to me after adding both Steve K and Steve G to set group chat, that the Steve's still needed proof that neither Steve was getting scammed. Hello, Steve K and Steve G. This is Pablo Torre, not an AI depiction of Pablo Torre. And I just wanna formally welcome you once again to the summit of Steve's, which finally, led to proof of life from Steve K. Thanks for the verification, Pablo. And Steve, we finally meet. And if you're not wondering how Steve G replied to this, well, hey guys, it's an honor to be part of the summit, the Steve summit, and my boys are still out here shooting. This is the damage. Probably something that happens all the time at the Kerr house. The boys roughing it up, going crazy, huh? Anyway, Pablo, thanks for making this happen. Steve, honor is mine. And hope someday we might get a little closer than a couple of states away. Hope you guys are doing a well, have a good night, see ya. And from there, the steves were off to the races on their own. There was Steve G, on his couch, in front of a broken window slat that his older son had allegedly shattered after missing his younger brother's head, and there was Steve K, on his couch, asking, quote, "Hey Steve, has anyone ever told you that you are a stunningly handsome man?" The whole thing was the closest thing I have ever seen to the real-life Spider-Man meme, which I did, of course, send them in animated gift form. And, you know, I must now admit, I had come to this thing, kind of worried, you know, like a parent supervising a play date. Worried how this group chat might feel, to be awkward, would it be creepy, would anyone be tempted to litigate, especially for nine-time NBA champion Steve K. What the summit of steves has instead become, is the most active group chat in my phone. I'm not exaggerating. Someone told me, Steve K typed at one point, that with eight billion people on the planet, the odds are that we all have four doppelgangers. No idea if this is true, but what are the chances of two of those four actually meeting? Steve K then texted a screenshot of his iPhone. Steve, Steve K continued, "You're now in my address book." And there, the other Steve was in Steve K's phone, underneath the word doppelganger, which then led to Steve G sending a screenshot from his iPhone address book. And there, the other Steve was, underneath the words, nine-ring version. When I last left the steves, you should know. They were plotting to both go to the same voting place on election day, Tuesday, for the midterms, in order to create the illusion of voter fraud. They both agreed over text to do this. I still have no idea if they were joking. But I guess on Tuesday, we will find out. (upbeat music) Do you guys remember, I guess Katie was on the show, but do you remember what we did last year for Halloween? - Last year for Halloween. - Hamburger? If I wasn't on the show and you guys did it, it was hamburger. - I wore a hamburger. - Michael was dressed as hamburger. - Hamb. Hamb. - Shout out to Alonzo Jones, who continues to ignore all of my texts. - Are you texting him too much? Are you putting him on group chats? He didn't consent to? - He's out of chat with Steve Gellas. How those workin' up just Steve K. - This is what networking is, I think, is connecting Alonzo Jones and Cazaro Steve K. - We had Michael O'Cruzcane as hamburger. - I was a tree, I was a haunted tree. It was still weird still in the hospital. - Becca, I thought that was hilarious. - And we had in Katie's seat, who? - Way the witch. - Name a person. - The witch. - Was it the witch? - Alexa Rosie Ann. - The witch. - For those who don't remember what we did. - Oh, goddess, fortuna, we ask you to protect the fate of mankind and to turn the fortune of AI cause it to slip up and fail so that it can not harm humanity. So mode it be, so mode it be, so mode it be. So mode it be, do you guys want to add any words to that? - May humans masturbate the old fashioned way. - Amen, so mode it be. - And that's beautiful. - That is beautiful. - So mode it be. And you know, may humans reign over technology and not the reverse. - So mode it be. - So mode it be. - I have no spells vis-a-vis masturbating myself. I have not, that's not for me. - So mode it be. - So mode it be. - I love the way she went like, yes, yes. - Yes, clock that tea. - So mode it be. She was like, yes, finally, someone says it. That is the village voice recognized, greatest witch number one witch in the world or someone witch. - I loved her. She was great. - The best. - She seemed like a little upset I wasn't here for it. - Yeah. - But we had to put ingredients in to the thing. - And we almost didn't dispose of the thing properly. - Correct, there were shenanigans. I was like, if she could do this in eighth time, like everything goes bad. - Well, you had to be disposed of at the bottom of like a live tree or something. And then I went out there to leave and the (beep) I forget who was here with their (beep) and put it in there, just gonna throw it out. I was like, are you just (beep) nuts? - Have you seen the movie? - Yeah, a lot. - And put it away the way. - Do what the witch says. - That's right, within reason. - Wild. - So one year later, I think it kind of worked. - Oh yeah. - Okay. - In what way? - What happened with AI? - AI has seemingly malfunctioned continuously. - Yes, that's true. The headline I'm reading is from Axios. Unvetted AI agents are accessing US bank accounts. - I heard they were making fake websites that looked exactly like the real websites so that when you put your credit card information into that website, it would just take it. - That's cool. - And I didn't love, I gotta be honest, you guys. I didn't love that. - I don't think that's what I meant. to wish for. That's what's, and I did you mean to wish for AI finding a bug that puts up to 70% of the world's websites at risk. That's the one I was thinking of. That's the 70% is the one that I was thinking of yet. I don't, I think AI, it can do something good, right? Isn't it possible that it could look at your X-ray and be like, "Oh, the doctor missed this." But instead, they're like, we've made a picture of a unicorn with 12 d****s. It's like, "Why did you do that? Why did you do that? I didn't want you to do that." In your post from this month as well, brick layer, comma 49, comma travels 1,200 miles for a dream girl only to discover she's AI generated. That makes me sad. That's tough. That makes me sad, but it's like you, and then sometimes they'll show you the evidence of like, this is the conversation they had and you go, "Oh, I would have clocked that right away." Wouldn't that? And then I feel bad going like, "You should have clocked that." But it's not going to get easier. It's only going to get harder. You know how many old people are getting scammed by like, "Come on, Brad Pitt's in a hospital bed texting me every day after sending them $70,000 because they can't conceive of a world and why would they?" Exactly. Why would they go, "Someone's going to use this technology to pretend to be the hottest actor I always wanted to love me and make it that's just deep." The curve is sending me notes. But that actually is Steve Kerr sending me notes because you've given me his phone number. This is where we are. As I look at another headline that simply says from Germany, quote, "polices robot that grew up 16-year-old girl." We're living at a time in which technology is malfunctioning. Yes. And yet it does it. I don't think it's really had the effect that we wished for when we cast it. We were hoping it would stop. We were hoping that all of these things would accumulate and cause some sort of like stop or pause. A robot groped a girl? German authorities opened an investigation into possible sexual harassment after a robot controlled by two young men touched the buttocks of a 16-year-old girl. Okay, controlled by two young men. So it's two young men. That's the problem. The problem is who's in charge of all of this is two young men. Two young men are running the whole thing. Shall I do my short program now? Have we reached the part where I do my short program? What's your figure skating level? What do you mean? Like how good are you at skating skating? In real Katie. Sorry, I mean, I was not the character. I'm trying to be method, but okay. Zero. It's not good. I only ever wore hockey skates and I wasn't very good at that either. And then when I put them on again recently, I'm talking 10 years ago, but like since wearing them as a kid, thinking it'd be like a bike and they'd come right back, it didn't. I got weak ankles and I never was figures. I never figures. I went figure skating with nope. I went figure skating with my wife because she wanted to do and I wanted to be there for her to do that. And it turned out she was like a f***ing gazelle in the woods, just everywhere. Beautiful. I am clutching for dear life to the edge of the thing. And like even clutching, I'm like doing this kind of thing all the time. It was exhausting and stressful. So much of it is letting go and go and like I'm gonna fall, but I got to feel free because once you get going fast and you're like the wind is in my hair. I could never run this fast and you're taking corners. And then when you go and you stop, you're like there's nothing. I'm so powerful. I had a thought of trying that. And then a guy got gurneyed off the ice where when I was like, oh, it's not worth it. You could do a lot of damage to your tailbone. Yeah. Just by falling real hard on it on the ice. A couple of times. My brother's a beautiful skater. My brother's good at skating. My favorite thing is now because Violet is six is that she's like still young enough for me to need to like, you know, kind of keep her upright. But I'm really using her as support. Secretly she's a walker. She's a walker. She doesn't know. She doesn't know. She has a she holding on to a thing. She all under a thing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. A little penguin. Yeah. And then you're holding on to her. Yeah. It sort of turtles all the way up. Situation. That's right. That's exactly right. My niece is already in skates. She's not six. She's this is a thing. An aunt should know, right? Her age. She's very little, but they've already got her in skates and she apparently loves it. So I don't think my kids have ever been in skates of any kind. Roller or ice. What? They live in. They live in if you ain't been in skates. That's right. You got a roller skate or roller blade. Yeah. God, I used to love to roll her blade to the neighborhood. Mighty ducks made me buy. I mean, ask my parents for roller blades. Yeah. It's gonna say what you took you took a withdrawal out of your account. Your city kids are different. He's like, I went to the bank on my way back from preschool. I had a cashier's check. And I said, can you give this to me in five? So listen. This is where he's going. Can we make this an episode? Do we need to add more? What is it that we found out today? No way. No way. We're at that part. I thought we had barely started. I was going to bring up the woman who put the earring in her sleeves on the Delta flight. Do you guys see that lady who what put the earring in her sleeves? What's going on in this plane, Daniel? This is something I love about social media. Met a very passive aggressive passenger on Delta today. Immediately angry about my using the armrest before takeoff. She installed an earring on her sleeve to poke me. I didn't mind till the turbulence when it stabbed me. I calmly asked her to remove it. She wouldn't and told me I was taking up too much of my seat because I'm a man. Brilliant. Brilliant. She did what she had to do. That guy was obviously annoying. And if you got an obviously annoying guy for long enough, you come up with a little sis. It's just on her, right? What are you gonna do? This is just where I like to put this. Who are you to say? It's a fully defensive measure. We should all be believed to go porcupine mode. That's right. Whatever I'm allowed to wear whatever I want. Maybe you should move your arm. Had you considered that? But what if maybe he was deathly allergic to pins? Well, then that sounds like his problem. He shouldn't act in a way that provokes me putting a pin in my arm. You're right. That's a you problem. You could tell by her face in the picture that she was like, I'm unfazed. You have been a nightmare this entire trip. Yeah. I just like I normally when I'm sitting on a plane, I cover my body and landmines. That's what I normally do. And if you hit one of them, that's on you. I make myself small. I hold my P to the point of probably like medical issue. If the person is if I'm in the window, which I chose and they're in the aisle and I've got to go and they're fast asleep, I go like, you know what? This is right. What you're doing is right. No, it isn't. If you sit at the window, your job is to piss yourself. You never you chose the window. Do not get up. I'm just providing the context of like normally I personally will go way too far in the people pleasing direction of like, I don't want to be the person who ruined it for you. And I happen to always find myself if I'm in the aisle seat sitting next to a person who's very comfortable waking me up to go to the bathroom. It's like when will the reciprocation occur? The rule of the airplane is aisle person gets their legs banged into by the cart, but they they do that so they can get the P whenever they want to. Window person gets to lean against the window, but you cannot piss. Link the flight makes a difference to me. If it's six hours, you can at some point when I get up to P, which I will when I'll get up to P. Yes. And if it's the short flight, though, if it's a two hour flight, now, of course, if there's an emergency, we have to say no, no, no, no, no, no. Okay. That's right. But it's just if I have just fallen, it's the point of getting the aisle is so that you've got access. If your person who pees a lot, you're an aisle seat person. Absolutely. And I would say this, if they're middle seat, if it's a three-seater, middle seat can do anything they want. Middle seat is living in hell. You can do whatever you want. You could take your shoes off. Yeah. Yeah. Flip your toenails. Eat a sandwich that you make on the plane. Whatever you want. Just not tuna. That's the rule. What did we find out today? That. Wait, one more thing. That this that I would be okay as a blonde. I always thought it would be really bad. This is the first time you ever had blonde hair on with a nice wig with like a nicer wig that isn't like bad. This is also the volume I've always dreamed of having. So I'm afraid people are gonna come away really into me. This costs $9.99 on Amazon. That's crazy. I like that Katie's take away in this episode about bizarros and doppelgangers is she wants to look less like herself. Yeah. That's pretty much every morning I wake up and go you again. Her rump. Michael, what did you find out? I found out that Steve Kerr's doppelganger did not have vials of Steve Kerr's blood which to me makes him like that's enough to be like let's put let's link them up. You think they should be friends become so just recapping for everybody. Yep. They should be friends because he wasn't carrying vials of his blood. That's exactly right verbatim what I said and what I feel. I'm gonna add and Steve Kerr when you watch this back just know I fought for this to not happen. Throw another. Oh, Steve in a smith on the Oh yeah. I haven't resurfaced my text chain with hamburger Jones. What I found out today is that when I texted him in May quote hamburger my show just won a Pulitzer. Thanks for being a part of it. Nothing. I got nothing but it does say that it was red. Hey. Wow. I don't really give a **** dude. I mean it's crazy because all. That's what hamburger. Now you're meeting bizarros Steve Kerr. That's a gift. Mr. Gillis seems lovely. He does. I agree. What a piece of work is man. Hamlet. -That's for Pamela. -That's for Pamela. Who says to that on self be true? It's not Hamlin. Oh, I know this above all to the I know and self be true. This above all to the I know and self be true. Is someone saying to a layer tease or something? What teen movie am I thinking of where he's trying to teach them how it's basically like rhyming? Polonious. Polonious. And mine is 10 things I hate about you. No, this is, this is, oh. Oh, oh, my God. 10 things I hate about you is aiming of the shrill, isn't it? I haven't seen it, but I think so. Oh, man. One more hour. Gonna put my wax back in real quick. Good job, everybody. The lights on it. They're done. We might still be going, but in there, they're done.
