The Snack: Canceling Men vs. Women, Barbie Nightmare, and Hard Launch Goals
58m 58s
The host reflects on the emotional toll of returning to family homes, describing sensory overload from constant noise, pets, and social activity, which contrasts with their preference for quiet and intentional living. They then announce their new live special, *Here Comes the Bride*, premiering on April 30th, featuring real wedding footage, interactive YouTube engagement, and a strong emphasis on accessibility across platforms. The special is celebrated for its visual artistry, emotional authenticity, and personal journey, including themes of marriage, intimacy, and personal growth. The segment also critiques the poorly executed Barbie DreamFest in Florida, which failed as a child-friendly event due to disorganization, high pricing, and a dystopian aesthetic. A major focus is on the Summer House drama, where the public revelation of West and Amanda’s relationship is analyzed for its lack of accountability and emotional impact, sparking a broader discussion on gendered online judgment. The host points out that women face disproportionate online hostility, especially when relationships end, while men often avoid similar consequences. The conversation extends to media ethics, citing examples of edited content and canceled brand deals that reveal systemic bias in reality television. Finally, the host promotes *The Testaments*, a socially relevant Hulu series based on Margaret Atwood’s novel, and highlights a new service, Vibral, offering access to designer items without the financial burden of ownership. The overarching message is one of emotional honesty, media accountability, and empowerment—especially for women in public and personal life.
- This week on the snack, Barbie Nightmare Fest, a Ferrari hard launch, and the Summer House drama continues. - This is the Dear Media Production. - Enjoy! (upbeat music) - Hi guys, we oughta say hi. I asked people, "Do you miss the high?" And they were like, "Fuck yes." We only missed it once, and it was on a snack. We would never miss a hi guys on a Monday. That's like never happened in the history of time. - Once in a blue, but I will forget what my queue is. - You know, like hi guys, and then I forget the next line. - It does happen to me once in a blue moon. We are tired. - I don't know why, it's like we went to bed early. You know, hot take, it's hard to sleep, not in your own bed. - You know, at this point, this is what I do. When I come to the East Coast, I'm in like my parents' house, my brother's house, hotel room in New York. That's, it's a lot of beds. - I love bed. - Another lot of beds. - Yeah, parents pull out couchs. I just, do you feel like you are, I've get overstimmed in New York. I can't sleep, I stay up super late, and I wake up late. - I thought you were gonna say your parents' house, and there's like a whole TikTok. Overstimulate your parents' house. Over the holidays, I saw so much content about this, of just being overstimulated. When you're used to living on your own, in your own quiet, or whatever you have going on in your house, and you get to your parents' house. And my parents' TV is, it's not on all the time, but when it's on, it's out of 12. If you've 18 cats, there's so many animals. Like I got in this TikTok whole of people feeling, they love their parents. They want to be their parents, but the older you get, and the more you live your own life in your own home, especially if you're alone, or just with your partner, or whatever, you go back to your parents, and it's a lot. - It is non-stop talking. I mean, and especially like you and me, like we live really far from our families. And so like I go home, and like, when I woke up, I said to my brother, like I expect to see you every minute on Saturday, and he was like, "Challenge to stop to bitch." Like we went to brunch at 9 a.m., and we did not brunch. - Brunch, brunch, brunch. - Another brunch, club. We did not break from at the hang until 11 o'clock at night. And it was continuous, like talking, and then we were with my sister and last family, and it was just like everyone's like eating, and drinking, and talking, and the baby, the baby, the baby. I mean, I was overstemmed, and I was like, I know I requested this, and I regret it. I hate allowed TV. I really, I think I'm becoming more sensitive to sound as I get older, like, and it's been always sensitive. - But it's just, my dad's hearing, you know, it's gotta be up. Like I was like, "Mom, you have to turn out the TV." I can't live like, I'd rather hear the, my nephew's screaming than a TV at like a 15. - Okay, you and I aren't TV at home people. - That's exactly. - We're not background noise TV people. - It's 100%. - Sometimes I just realized I've been sitting in silence for an hour, and I'm like, I shouldn't set a vibe. - That's nice. - Yo, you live with somebody. TV, no TV during dinner. Like, I'm that bitch. - I don't, do you think that's of a different generation? I can't like imagine somebody, like any of our friends, turning the TV on during dinner. - I used to eat dinner for the TV all the time. - When you lived alone. - Yeah. - That's different though, there's somebody with you. - Exactly, like, I'm like, we're gonna take a break and we're gonna dine. - I know, 'cause I don't hear from you from like, six p.m. to eight p.m., I know it's dinner music. - I know Shishok has walked in the door, 'cause I don't hear from you for two hours. - Okay, let's say our partners, then we have a big announcement today, guys. - Thank you to VVral, get your first month free, and skip the way list at VVral.com with Code GGE, and quince, get free shipping, and 365 day returns on your next order at quince.com/GGE. - And thank you to the testaments. I don't know what that's, I don't know how you did that. - Oh, just check it in the episode description. - I've never been foggier on more details. - Okay, well, not we, you have a, no we have it. - I was there, I was there. - You have a huge announcement. I'm just, without further ado, I feel really emotional, I'm very excited to talk about it. - I am announcing my special. I did already announce it on social media, Variety got the exclusive overgirls got to eat podcast, but I am so excited to announce that my special, here comes the bride, will premiere on April 30th, and it will be a live YouTube experience. So someone in the comments just wrote, "How was this live if it was pre-taped?" And I'm like, fair question. So it is alive in that, it will feel like a live event, and I will be in the chat, which is something I'm so excited to do. I love this community, having an interactive experience with you guys, and so that will be on April 30th, 8 p.m. Eastern 5 p.m. Pacific, or early for the West Coast. And then it will be on Prime Video on May 1st. - I'm just, I feel like I'm gonna cry. I'm so excited for people to see this. Like, you traveled all year last year, you did 43 shows, I was there for both tapings of this. I can't believe how beautiful it looks. I can, because you put a lot of time and money and work into it, and it really shows. Visually is one of the most beautiful specials I've ever seen. It just, it looks like, it looks expensive. And the actual content and art behind it, the jokes, the storytelling, it's just, it's so special, it's so unique and different. I just, I can't wait for other people to see it. Congratulations, and you've worked really a long time, really hard for this. - Thanks. Yeah, if you're new here, I shot this last year, after a 43 show tour, three weeks before my wedding, I was fully crashing out. You can't tell, I seem calm and composed, but it was like a crash out mode, and it was the best time I had. And I wish, I was crashing out every day like that. But it was really wonderful. That was the best night of my life professionally. And yes, it looks so beautiful. I was sharing just photos with another comic the other night when I told him where I filmed it, which was the city winery here in New York. And he was like, I can't even believe what they did to the place. So I can't wait for you guys to see it, and the whole look and feel. And I'll share more, I mean, as we go, and the week at launches, I'll share some more, maybe about the journey, and some of the thank yous and the people who really made it possible. I mean, just such a huge team of people, and don't tell comedy, produced it, Kyle from Don't Tell was the director, executive produced by Andrew Russell of WMI, a close personal friend. And my goal was just to have as many people as possible be able to watch this. I want to share it with the world. I don't want it to be hard to access. And so having it free on YouTube, having the live experience, and then also on Prime Video, so one of the major streamers, biggest in the US, someone says, subscribe or wise. So I really just want it to be accessible to everybody. And if you have YouTube Premium or Prime Premium, you can watch it without commercials, which is the experience I would like you to have. But whatever you guys want to do, there's multiple ways to watch it. And it's really about the last three years of my life. I mean, this is my journey to end up with my husband, but dating before him and moving to LA, and my feelings on marriage and not having kids, and moving in with him and the things that happen in sex, of course, and rena as a part of it. Obviously, sex is a big part of it. I'm a big part of the sex part. Yeah, we reveal our three subjects, the wedding night. And my family, and there's real footage from my wedding. I've never seen anybody do that before. Yeah, I mean, one comic, who I really look up to in terms of his comedy, incorporated real footage from his life. And I thought it was the coolest thing. And I'd already wanted to do that. And I was like, OK, someone's-- yeah, I could have been the first that I've known of. But the way he did it, I was like, OK, I think people want this. I think they want to see the real stuff from your life. And so the team that edited it perfectly and Ryan shot the-- our videographer shot the wedding footage. So there's footage from him and there. There's this really special surprise at the ends. Make sure you watch it all the way to the end. And yeah, I will. I'll drop the link soon for that YouTube premiere. But those are the dates. So April 30th, May 1st. Save the date. And the trailer is coming soon. And I'll just keep promoting it. The trailer? The trailer, I was like, taking a walk. I was like, I'm about to run through a wall. This is so good. It's just-- it's so incredible. Anna, our editor, is in the room with us today. Anna did the trailer, and it was such a joke. We're on version 13. But that's very-- That's very you. But it's like, it has to be perfect. And it's like, we really got there. Traillers are hard. Anna was just like, they're real. They're real skill with the music and all the things. I mean, people specifically, that they're ones-- Yes, and people don't. Yeah. And so what I asked was like, I don't do them. And I'm not doing it. This takes you to hell if where I can, but I'm not doing that. Well, it's like shooting somebody's wedding almost. It's like, you don't really have one shot to get this right, one opportunity. I do the line in the special. If you would one shot-- Would you take it or let it slip away? Would you-- yeah. Forget it. I can't-- I can't. Where we're spending-- It's over. I don't remember that shit. Do you think you could do the hours? I have had that thought. And I-- maybe. It does start to come back. I'm still doing some bits here and there in different ways when I'm doing shows. But I don't know if I haven't done it since October. You might forget a tag or two, but I bet you could do it. I think I might forget the flow. Once I get going on the joke, it all comes back to me. But the like, what comes next? Just go blank, biggest fear and comedy. I just-- I hear you doing bits in my head all the time, so I copy you all the time. Like, I just hear it. But you've heard it too many times, honestly, in the same way Shashank. And he'll say stuff like the from the special. Like, you guys just-- you shouldn't have had to be exposed to that, but I-- do you think I saw this more or he saw this more? I was trying to think who came on the road with you little.
a little bit more, and probably him, but the night that you shot this special, I watched it from the audience with Andrew the first time, a me Andrew and Shashank up in the balcony, and then the second time around, I watched it backstage, and it was fun to have like both of those experiences, and I mean, I was pretty drunk the second time, but it was just like such a special night and the vibe was so great, and I just, I truly can't wait for people to see this, I feel like I'm such a special historian, like I've seen every special that exists on every stream or every platform, I'd remember a lot, and I just, you have, I think you watch more comedy specials than anyone I know. Besides like some weird insell in the basement, with like, as far as a cool girl, like a normal, a normal person. - It comes out of the basement. - A special historian. - I look turned to you for advice, 'cause you've seen 'em all. - The set design was beautiful, the way it shot is beautiful. It's like a movie. I mean, obviously the content is amazing, but like the experience of watching it is so great. You look so beautiful. I'm just really excited for people to see the cool things. Oh my God, yes, and obviously Rain is such a big part of it, and it really was the best night, and this we talked about this hair fixing moment that we need to, you guys will see at some point on our social media, that's like some behind the scenes stuff. - And you're doing some really fun press also leading up to this. What day are you on "Patreon's Radio" by Miami? - It would have been today, as this airs. - Okay, so "Patreon's Radio" today. - That's live, I'm serious. - There'll be more. Yeah, you guys, you just, you know, watch the space. Watch the space. - Okay, well, thank you guys for being along on the ride. I get really emotional, I think, about like our audience, and just like, it's all I care about is that you guys like it. You know, like if people are like, don't know me, or don't know my story, and they don't like it, you have bad taste, but you don't have to. - You don't have to go and what the heck. - And it's not for you, I think it's for everybody. I really think it's wonderful. LeCuda isn't love love, and jokes, and all the things, and I think the content's amazing, obviously, I'm proud of it, but it's just like our audience, like, when I think about them being a part of this, that's why I wanted to do the interactive element too. Like that's what makes me like really emotional, just all the support over the years. Like, again, like you guys are the ones that matter. You guys just tune in every week, and you've been along for the journey. I mean, I can't tell you how many people I run into on the street, I'm talking to the audience, you're the plural, to say like, I've listened since 2018, since 2019, I've been through every break up with you guys, every success, every failure, every everything, and like, to know that people have been along for the ride for all three of the years of this relationship, and like, to get to watch it in another form is really special. I think people feel like a real connection to that. Yeah, so it's for you guys. So, I hope you love it, save the day. Okay, let's get into our report. We have a special one today. We have a Nightmare report. Someone say Nightmare Fuel Report. This thing, you actually, the first one, you introduced me this morning, and you know what's weird? Like, do you ever see something on your feet and you scroll past it a couple of times, and as somebody says something to you about it, and you're like, how did I ignore this? Like, I need to revisit it. Yes, so the headline is Detroit Bakery Easter, Lamb Cake has the internet gagging. I mean, this Bakery Detroit. Gagging in a couple, like gagging like shocked, but gagging like dry heaving, but also they want it. It's a viral sensation, this Easter lamb cake that they put out as a April Fools prank. Did you know lamb cakes were a thing? Is this the first year hearing of them? 'Cause I don't have, have they been a thing? I just thought we were doing like Easter candy. I thought like Cadbury eggs and like peeps and things like that. I did not know we were doing animal cakes kind of creep me out. You got to cut the head off. We eat animals, so it's like. You have a lot of look at the head. That's true. I don't want a whole fish serve to me. Nope, nope. I don't like watching a pig roast. I don't like, I don't, same, that animal head. I don't want to see the face of it. But I'm fine with a cake. Like, it's, is this cake? I can't even look at that. Okay, you guys, you guys, go to you too. We have to look on your spotify and watch this. So this Detroit, well, obviously Detroit, we love Detroit. Shout out to Detroit. They did this as a prank and it's so hideous. It's so terrifying. But like, it's kind of ugly, cute. This lamb cake and people are like, I want it. I need it. It fucked up teeth. The eyes are pointing in different directions. All of the frosting is cracked from the streets. So people are like, I need it. People love that shit, like ugly, ugly hot. So people are like, I want that cake. And then I just think that this, again, he's talked about, we'll talk about a Monday how Easter was on steroids this year, but this is even more proof. So then I just start seeing a lot of content about Easter lamb cakes. And especially I feel like maybe people who aren't Christian are like, what the fuck are these Christians doing with these lamb cakes? And there's such a range. Like, we'll post this one reel that I found of like, which Easter lamb cake are you? Like, they can look really cute and nice and not scary. And then they can look like this. And so there's a real spectrum. So check this out if you guys are watching on YouTube and shout out to that bakery. I don't think, I mean, this clearly didn't do what they thought it was going to do. I would see this and be like, I must have this. I must terrified the googly eyes. It's those teeth are worse than his ears. No, this is like if a zoo was a cake and he was on crack and I had never rescued him. This is what he would look like on the streets. This is what he looked like the day I fostered him. But like the first day I got-- [LAUGHS] No, because he was all, like, musty and smelled. The day I forgot his old as a to-foss, foster, quote-unquote, I-- we went and sat in the patio told the groomer was ready to take him in for a bath. I couldn't even smell him. I was like, what is wrong with this egg? Like, if there's no egg, he can't beat him. He's disgusting. He's this cake. But he's so desirable now. Like, that cake, I would be like, I have to have that cake. Like, I'm not doing like a sweet lamb, like, you know, just like, doesn't scare the kids kind of cake. This lamb will scare every child in the neighborhood. That's so funny. Like, I would fuck with my kids like that. Like, I'd be like, happy birthday. It's like a scream. But this one-- the one time this-- who sent it to me? I forget. Carvelle? I think Carvelle. Because I did work with them years, years, years ago. Set me a gritty cake. Gritty, the mascot. I don't know about this. I don't think we were there that Christmas. I can't remember. They sent me a cake of gritty. And it looked like gritty who's kind of scary, looking anyway in a fun, funny way. And then it started to melt. It was terrifying. And I still took a picture with it. I was head to post content with it. I was like, my dad didn't put it in the freezer. It's melted a little bit. And they were like, they were like, that's kind of funny. I'll post it. That's what this looks like. It looks like a melty. It's a melty. It's a melty. Yes. OK, so next on the Nightmare Report is Barbie DreamFest turned out to be a nightmare. So this was a festival in No Shock, Florida. [LAUGHTER] It's a comedy license to name Barbie from Mattel. And they put on this Barbie DreamFest. And it's supposed to be this really cute festival for children. And it is a disaster. I mean, it's just a big concrete-- I don't know, convention centers. And the main color of Barbie, obviously, is pink. There's three pink things in this whole room. The whole floor is concrete. The tickets for this-- Yeah. --reinvestor at $69. That should have been your first tip off. A $69 ticket for a child's festival. Yes, someone's going wrong. I mean, nothing was going right at this festival. And tickets went up to, like, as high as $449 with a $50 coupon to pay more money to get other things, like, photos there. And this is so shocking to me because, like, after a fire festival and, like, the Willy Wonka Festival, like, how could you possibly conceive of putting this on? If you're-- so people are saying, like, we showed up at the festival starting time. And the vendors were still arriving and setting up. OK, so it was just super disorganized in chaotic anyway. Besides, aesthetically, a nightmare. Horrifying? Yes. It looked like a parking lot with some pink in it. But, like, the fact that you did not just cancel this festival, I know, I wonder what attendance was like. I mean, a festival gone wrong is my pop culture porn category. Like, I saw this and I was, like, hell yeah, I'm sad for this. I mean, obviously, fire festival. But the Willy Wonka Festival, if you guys don't remember, we talked about it. This was in Glasgow, right? I don't remember. And people called the cops. Like, kids were crying. Like, kids were scared. They got taken out of their crying. The police showed up. It was so bad. So, I live for this shit. It looks like the most low-budget expo. Like, even when they're walking in, you know, you can tell you're just in, like, a hotel, the carpet. There's, like, a balloon arch. Like, nothing was pink. Like, you said, it's just the room is too big. It looks like a dystopian society. Yes. Like, it really-- it looks like a tour of a Barbie manufacturing facility. Like, it looks like a warehouse. It looks like here's where we make the Barbies. And, like, kids shouldn't be in here. You know what it does? It looks like a hard-hat tour for Barbie. It does. Like, you're going to go into the factory now. It looks like the literal warehouse. It just-- it makes me sad, because, like, people's kids really look forward to this. And they were so excited. Also, these are very expensive tickets. And, like, to show up as a little girl, and this is what the experience is. And this is a problem with AI, because they put out images of what it should look like. Really? I mean, also, that's false advertising. Like, they should get sued for this. I don't think that's fair. If you put out a bunch of AI images, and it showed up and looked nothing like them, like, people sued McDonald back in the day for that shit, we should be able to sue. I would 100% sue. Take on Barbie DreamFest. On behalf of my kids being scarred for life, fuck yeah. Live your-- live your truth. You finally get to be a PI. A lawyer, a judge. A cop show up to this one. So that's your nightmare report, everybody. So, you know, well, hopefully this is a lesson learned. Like, these festivals just need to do better, especially when they're for kids. It's just-- I don't know what you guys thought. Like, it wasn't ready. So, like, why did you let people show up for this? Mattel put out a statement and was like, we licensed the name. This was not on us, and we are refunding the money. But they needed to do better with who they licensed the name to. It's giving Devil Wars Proud a two-march a target. Like, how did this happen? How did this happen? And it should have been a smaller space and more compact and just more elevated, obviously, it goes all the way. I mean, this was hot garbage. But, you know, thank you for bringing up Devil Wars Proud because it's not in here.
You saw Meryl Streep and Anna Wentora on the cover of "American Boat" today? - No. - Iconic. - Iconic. - What? (gasps) - Could you die? - I mean, the image that is worth like a thousand words. Obviously, my comment was actually groundbreaking. - Okay, the likes are flowing in. - The likes are flowing in. - Okay, we're just gonna take a quick break. I am telling you guys about no CD. So we have been talking about this, but we really think this is a great resource. If you are having any sort of OCD, these doubts or anxieties and intrusive thoughts, everyone does have doubts and anxieties about their relationship, of course, from time to time. If you're dating, whatever you're out there doing your personal life, but for some people, those doubts and anxieties can feel all-consuming and impossible to move on from. So these can be things like creating a mental list of your partner's pros and cons, panicking about them, whether you made the wrong choice, constantly researching signs you're with the right person, having a random dream about spending your life with another person and then feeling guilty and terrified about what that might mean. Asking your partner over and over again, if they're really happy with you, even though they've already said yes, again, not phishing or compliments, just like you really feel like you need those answers. So this is relationship OCD, and it may seem like overthinking or commitment issues, but they actually can be signs of relationship OCD. All people think this is just about cleaning and organizing, but that couldn't be more wrong. So real OCD is a serious condition where these distressing unwanted thoughts get stuck on repeat and you feel driven to do certain mental or physical behaviors, called compulsions to try to make them stop. And it can be exhausting and it can affect your personal relationships, but it is one of the most treatable mental conditions when you get the right kind of specialized therapy, which is ERP therapy, exposure and response prevention, which is proven to be the most effective regular talk therapy is not recommended, it can actually make OCD worse. So that is why no CD is the world's leading OCD treatment provider and all of their licensed therapist specialized in ERP. So the therapy is 100% virtual, covered by insurance for every 138 million Americans and support between sessions. So you never have to face this alone. So if you are struggling with OCD or unrelenting intrusive thoughts, no CD can help book a free 15 minute call to get started at learn.noCD.com/GGE. OK, I just-- do you feel like, yes, the world's on fire? Like, we're all going to die. Probably next week. Yeah, I really was really bad. My specialty will never get to see it. It's probably going to hit the button. It's over. He's threatening civilians. He's been over. But pop culture-- Wow. Like, what are this-- what we're getting with Mormon wives, summer house? We did a rivalry. Like, that's Friday too. Like, we are over served. There's ever been a better time in pop culture than 2026. I will die on that hill. When stuff is happening, I'm like, how are we this lucky? I guess it's because we need it, because to balance out, yes. But like, hellscape. I have not had a pop culture of fucking just needle to the vein, like, scandal, in years. And then we got back-to-back weeks with Taylor Frankie Paul, Amanda Batulla, and Wes Wilson. Like, how did this happen to us? I know. Well, let's get into it. So we recorded last week about summer house an hour after it happened. So we were pushed back our recording, because it happened, as I was trying to get ready. I mean, it happened at 10 a.m., and we typically recorded 11. So we really just had to collect our thoughts, and we had some regrets just because we hadn't really thought about it enough. We hadn't seen more things that came out. And whatever, I think we did a fine job. But I mean, it's just still slow down a little bit. But for the all of last week and over the weekend, it was just all I was seen. So, so much has happened since. So we just want to circle back. Yeah, I mean, it feels like it has slowed down at teeny tiny bit. Now people are sort of like listening in and reporting on, like, Lindsay's conversations in public, West conversations in public. The season is still airing, and then we're going to film their union a couple weeks. So we're going to keep getting fed by this. But I really want to pop off about something. So the thing that came out, I guess, a day or two after, Amanda Batulla and Wes Wilson have not spoken out about this. But Kyle Cuck gave a, basically, man on the street interview to somebody from TMZ, is that who that was? Hey, I'm still confused, and I don't care enough. But yeah, he-- Yeah, great. Someone got the exclusive of him coming out of his apartment, just ready to talk. Yes. And, you know, if I knew nothing about him, I would be like, that's a real man. That's a really measured person. He said, you know, I'm disappointed about this. He didn't say terrible things about either of them really. And he said, you know, Amanda is somebody who struggles with mental health. And, you know, please remember that. And I was like, that's-- If I knew nothing else about him, I'd be like, that's a really stand-up guy. He was still sticking up for the person he was with for 10 years. It seemed calm and measured. I would like to pop off about the things that he said. What? Like, since or on the show, on that interview. OK. And get your reaction. OK. So he said, you know, keep in mind that she's somebody with mental health issues. And-- What's-- Sorry to interrupt you. Was it like a three-parter? They divided it into two parts. OK, got it. OK. Because I watched Carl's a mess, part one. And then-- Actually, I can't-- Carl's a mess is just, I say it to myself all day long. When people are like, I'm stuck in traffic. And I'm like, and Carl's a mess. Carl's a mess. Carl's a mess. I mean, I can't see Carl being the most upset of all these people. Well, it's a dinner with one of Carl's best friends. He's also one of our best friends that night. And we're like, is Carl a mess? He was like, Carl's a mess. I was just with Carl. He was came from me with Carl. He came straight from Carl to us. And he was like, I need to console Carl. I can confirm he's a mess. So I agree with the sentiment of these are real people. And when the entire weight of the internet is thrown at somebody for, listen, she didn't kill anybody. They didn't kill anybody. It is hard. And these are real people. And people have-- they've ended their lives for online bullying. And you saw what happened with Raquel Levis after a scandal, she took the mental institution for months. And so I would never encourage anybody to do that. However, no one would know about this. If Amanda Patula and West Wilson weren't on Instagram stories every single day, dancing around, drinking, eating, and you and I have a lot of mutual friends with them. And so I started to notice, before I even heard this, they're just together a lot. They're dancing around a lot and just being goofy together. And the Instagram stories I noticed them on are these accounts that are not small accounts. People that are verified with millions of followers. And even if they weren't hooking up with each other, if I'm Sierra, and I'm like, my very close friend and my ex who did me so dirty or just being goofy on the internet together, I have a real problem with that. Nobody would know about this if they hadn't been being like silly and goofy. And then people started asking questions and getting in the comments and saying, what's going on here? Andy Cohen is asking Kyle and Weston. They put out the the feelers, other than sleeping together. They weren't that secretive about this. Yeah. I think that they were actually teasing this kind of a lot. They're being a little careless. Like I dare you to catch us kind of. And I don't think they were trying to. But this is not two people that kept this really private. And so to be like, think about her mental health, of course. But, and she's not saying think about my mental health, but you can't do something to somebody that is really, really terrible and deplorable and then claim mental health. But he's saying that. He's saying it, not her. Yeah. And I have thoughts on like the line between accountability and bullying. 100%. I'm with you. I can't believe the way this went out. I mean, for me last week to be like, they're probably in love. I was so off. They are not together. That much is clear. West is hooking up with somebody every night. That's, it appears to be. He's having three senses doing all this. I mean, these are just all the claims that are coming out. Like he is a fuck boy for the generations. Like they're not a couple, right? So, I don't know. But as soon as this came out, there were a bunch of women that came for it. And of course, people can lie. But multiple women were like, I'm dating him. Yeah. So what it appears to have happened, which is out there in the news. And we have had it confirmed as well, is that there was a video of them. There was a video proof. And so that's why they made this statement. I was joking when we were at that dinner. I was like, I would go full Donald Trump. I'd be like, deny, deny, gaslight lie. That was AI. I mean, I'm half kidding. But like the way they made this statement, I still can't believe it. Who approved this? Who let them do this in this way? They made it so much more serious. Like, it could have been done so differently. It could have been like, we slipped up and we hooked up. And I'm so sorry. Like, why did they do it like this? Like why did they do this?
Black background, white statement, "We're seeing where the relationship goes." It wasn't that apologetic. It was this huge announcement. I still can't get over the way that they did this. I thought they'd be smarter than that. I mean, I don't think they're that smart. I mean, Amanda Batull has been on the show for a decade. How does she not know what would have happened here? And anyone saying like this is all planned and orchestrated, it's not. It's not. I mean, it's just not. It's just not. We've talked to so many people that know them that this wasn't. And like, you wish it was 'cause it would have been done differently. Bravo would have handled it differently if they had a hand in it. Like, the way that they did this, who let this happen? I don't know. I'm with you. When this came out, I mean, before really digesting this for a couple of days and all these other women coming forward saying, I'm dating him too, I'm sleeping with him too. I was like, clearly they have burned their professional lives to the ground because they're in love. Yeah, but that statement did not say that. It didn't say that we are so sorry for who we've hurt. I mean, it didn't say that either. It didn't seem to be a lot of accountability. And I understand people saying like, the heart wants what it wants. I fell in love with somebody that I was really close friends with. This just happens. But it didn't say those things. And I'm just curious what's gonna happen to the reunion. Like, are they gonna walk out hand in hand? They better. They better be like, we are in love. But that doesn't seem to be what's happening. They're not in love. So, okay, I have a question for you. Yeah. Do you think that Amanda underestimated how much people love Sierra and don't ride for her? Like, do you think there's a world in which Amanda thought she was a fan favorite and this would not happen? Like, I can't stop going over this in my head. How anyone else could have seen this response and they didn't. Unless they just didn't care. Maybe that, maybe she overestimated how much kindness she would get from the fans for leaving Kyle. I mean, there was so much like she felt untouchable. Yes, positive. Pipe around her and I can't even begin to understand what it feels like to be on a reality show at very young age, 23 years old, 24 shoes with this guy who verbally abused her on national television and cheated on her. And she's with somebody for 10 years, through her 20s or early 30s. She gets out of this relationship. Anybody would act a little crazy and go kind of wild. But, and yeah, maybe you date some people that are wrong for you. But, but trying your friend and, you know, it's a little different if, you know, I always think like we all date a lot of people. Are every one of those people off limits to everybody else around you? No, you know, if I was in a serious relationship with somebody that had a beginning, middle and an end and I had an agency in that relationship ending, maybe I would be okay with somebody around me dating that person because I would feel like I ended this in a way that I needed to. But when somebody just hurts you so deeply, like Weston Sierra and does you so dirty to watch your close friend go after that person, I can't imagine anything more painful. I know, and I keep coming back to me on Mormon wives, saying explicitly that she was a fan favorite and then acting unhinged. And I'm wondering if you have a delusional part of you that thinks you're the favorite and you're empowered to do whatever you want. Like, I wonder if Amanda was like, I have so much love from the audience and so much goodwill towards me right now and everybody loves West. Like, who wouldn't support this? I can't wrap my head around her mindset. And I mean, Amanda sucks for this that much is clear. Like, she's queen of the pick me's. I think that we have realized that now. I was always neutral on her. I wasn't like a hater, but I was like, whatever. I thought she was a better friend. I will say that. So she's not a girl's girl, it's a parent. I don't think that she's that smart for doing this this way. But like, she didn't commit a crime. She's not a pedophile. She's not causing harm to the world. And like, I've said this before and I'll say it again. Like, I am so bothered by the excitement to tear down a woman and the enthusiasm to pile on and ruin this woman's life. And I get it though. She did a shitty thing. And she stabbed her friend in the back. She stabbed another woman in the back. A woman that people love that we love. And so I understand why the story took off. Everybody has to take, we're doing this. Second, we can all, we're talking about this. I understand it. And I understand if you don't want to support her anymore. But like I said, there's a line between holding someone accountable and bullying them. Like, what do you want to do, make her kill herself? Like, there's such a weird behavior to be in people's comments and in their messages and saying the meanest stuff. Like, that's not holding someone accountable. That's like, you're trying to bully them off the internet or bully them into literal suicide. And I just don't think this would have happened to a man. Like, Westcott, but it didn't happen to a man. It didn't happen to a man. Like, but just the, if a man did this to another man, it wouldn't even be news like this. But just in this situation, Westcott more followers from this. That was one of Kyle's main talking points on the street. Like, he did a shitty thing too. He had a really close relationship with Sierra. He had a friendship with her. He had an intimate relationship with her. Like, why the fuck would this increase his popularity? And I think there's a lot of things that are true at once. Like, we hold women to a higher standard, right? Like, I do expect more for women. I have more respect for women. When a woman disappoints you, it hurts worse 'cause you didn't see it coming. So I understand why we feel this way. But I just want us all to check ourselves, us included, of why we don't afford women the same grace. We afford men. And why we crucify women so much more. And I just don't want us to let this vitriol for this woman overpower the ways we should be holding men accountable. Like, women just don't get the passes that men get. Like, Kanye is selling out stadiums. Louis C.K. sold out Madison Square Garden. Like, when this should happen to women, they wear this scarlet letter forever. Like, Beyonce could never do an ounce of what Kanye has done. No woman comedian could come back like Louis C.K. - Kristalia. - Orange. - I know, and it took a while, but he is back. And like, I'm all for forgiveness and giving people second chances. Especially if you love their art. There's a line for me, for sure. Like, we don't need to get into this role. But there's something that doesn't matter how much I love your music, like, diddy, for example, what you've done, net far again. Like, you're off my Spotify for life, our Kelly, et cetera. But I just think we as women all need to check our internalized misogyny. And if you're being harder on women, then these terrible men, why? And it's just, I don't know. That's just, it's all my mind. This isn't in defense of Amanda. It's just the bigger issue. And we can also care about pop culture and what's going on in the world. I'm not a person that's like, how can you care so much about this, but don't care about this. That's never going to be me. But like, women just, they don't get forgiven ever. Like, I always, I thought about that with Justin Timberlake and Jessica Beale, that like, cheating scandal all the time. The way that Justin Timberlake apologized years ago when he was caught on camera with another woman, whatever. And people are like, an honest king. Thank you, King. Jessica Beale would have been banned from society. Or she would have had to leave the country, leave the internet. I mean, I think what's happening in pop culture is what's happening in the world. This is just a metaphor for what happens everywhere. And as soon as this happened, I went to Amanda's page and I looked, I went to West's page and I was looking at the comments on both of their posts. And hers were so full of vitriol and hate. And I think, of course, so many women look at this. And they're like, this is my worst nightmare. And yes, they overdue it. And it's the worst thing they could ever imagine. And yes, we hold women to higher standards. Men are supposed to be cheaters, just come bags and liars and manipulators. But I looked at his comments and I was like, they're just hurt that many. And I was really shocked by it. And I think it's really interesting, because in Kyle's little man on the street thing, he brings this up and he says, you know, I went to West's page and he's getting 50,000 followers. Kyle is also complaining about a system that also has rewarded him. Because Kyle has also been on television for a decade, verbally abusing his wife. Last week, calling her a stupid fucking bitch on national television and lover boy is selling out across the country. So it's fascinating to me how quickly we forget. Yes. That exactly what this man is doing, I mean, people flooded lover boy, bought it out, sold it out. This man was terrible to his wife on television. And we just kept watching. We rewarded him with more contracts, more scenes. By the way, what they did to Hannah Berner, I get so mad about it and I think about it. And he says, you know, go easy on Amanda, which I agree with. But did you guys go easy on Hannah when you got her kicked off the show and you terrorized her in the press? And that's just, you know, Ashley and I love Hannah. We care about her, we're friends with her. But like, to watch what they did to her in the press and just gas people up and do interviews about terrible, she says, Hannah also didn't do anything so terrible. I don't even remember what she allegedly did. But I just, I agree with you. And I think it's an interesting, important conversation of like, why are we okay with one thing and not the other? And I think what West did is terrible. And him and Kyle are good friends. And I was looking through like, you never know how close anybody is. But I was looking through Kyle's posts and he posted for West's birthday. And he said, like, happy birthday to my brother. And it was this whole roundup of photos of them. Like, they are close. - It's so crazy. This is this man's ex-wife. - Uh-huh. - What are we, why are we forgetting that? Like, I don't care 'cause I don't care about Kyle's feelings. Like, but I'm just saying, like, that's worst technically 'cause of the marriage of it all. - Yeah. - So we're gonna just get into Kanye really quick. But there's one thing I really gotta bring up. And that is the Rihanna of it all. I, you never expected Rihanna to answer this time. We know Rihanna loves Bravo. So she's talked about, I thought she was a housewife. Stan and I didn't know Rihanna was watching Summer House. So I guess Rihanna had followed all of them. Rihanna had followed Amanda. And then unfollowed Amanda. If Rihanna follows me, I've made it. If Rihanna unfollows me, I'm leaving the planet. - Going dining. - Going dining. - Yeah. - Can you imagine Rihanna following you then she unfollows you? And then I guess Rihanna has said she wants to hook Sierra up with somebody people who are speculating as Michael B. Jordan. I can't believe that, I can't go for the Rihanna aspect of this. Also, I like shipping her with like a big celebrity 'cause so many people were saying like she's gonna be the next bachelor at. I honestly can't think of anything I wanna do less than date 30 men. It sounds like a punishment. I love the takes about this. They're like, okay, she was traumatized by one man. Why should she go be traumatized by 30 of them? And also she's just bigger and better than this dying franchise. - Totally. - I really like the takes that were like, that's an insult. - I know.
And she has, I mean, I'm sure she will speak her truth when the time comes at the reunion. I mean, she's carried herself with nothing but class and poise and just continued to post her brand deals and be on the red carpets. And I look forward to seeing what she has to say. I think that she is just wonderful and, I mean, humble. You look at her. You're like, that's the most beautiful person I've ever seen in my life. And she's humble. Yeah, she's great. And we just, you know, we root for her team Sarah. Yeah, and just one thing. I mean, Carl and Lindsay shot this Uber Eats commercial immediately. I mean, I, they obviously have Uber Eats deal. So the publicists dial them up like, let's fucking go. Carl's a mess. Let's go. So they, they shot this commercial on Carl's a mess and then she hands them tissues. And you're like, oh my God, you forget that they're like, for a second, you're like, they were engaged in the whole breakup and like the world is healing. And it is united the rest of the cast. I'll say that. I'm heard members. Lindsay Hubbard, I always say like the devil works hard. Lindsay Hubbard works harder. When she got pregnant, she had that first response ad locked and loaded. She, that's how she announced her pregnancy. Get him paid. She's monetizing off the back of Western Amanda. I'm not a fan of hers, a person. I am a huge fan of hers, a business person. I know we did. Queen, a Chris Jenner through and through. So it's interesting because these people are just like in the streets going out in your city. West, I think, traveled to and I will probably get this wrong. Arizona to deal with Marriott. And I had posted this thing. They edited him out of the videos because they're like, we can't have you in these brand deals. But people have heard him at the pool saying that a him and Amanda were in a relationship. This is all just here, so I am curious to see like what comes to light over the next couple of weeks before we get the reunion. - Yeah, yeah, Jesus Christ. - So yeah, we mentioned Kanye. Kanye is having a comeback. What he sold out two nights at SoFi, 80,000 Cs. It made millions of dollars. - 160,000 Cs. - But again, you find your line for when you want to cancel somebody and how much their music and their art means to you and what they've done. Kanye to me is a real villain to the Jewish community. So shirts with swastikas on them. Like, did we forget this? You know, and so anyway, so that happened. But now the news as of today is he was supposed to headline the wireless festival in the UK and they have canceled the festival because they have banned him from the UK. So the government has said he's caused so much harm, especially to this specific community and he can't come in the country, which is crazy. So the wireless festival, if you're not familiar, it's huge. Drake had lined it last year, three different nights. He did a different set of her night, it was iconic. But it's huge, just so it's like a Coachella. So he was supposed to headline it and he can't come in the country to get banned from a country, it's crazy. - I mean, to me the way he's gone after Jewish people, it is as bad to me as some other people. It's cancelable forever. I'm, I'm manned up with Tula, okay. Like, I don't think I don't, can't give her a pass. But like, this has nothing, this can't even hold a candle to what is going on with these men that have like, really put a dark mark on society and an incited violence and encourage hatred, anti-Semitism, horrible things against women and people of certain races. And I can't forgive it, I can't look the other way. And I really like, there was a couple of people that I follow that I'm friendly with that I saw at this concert posting about it. I felt like sick about it. - Yeah, I mean, you know, people justified, however, they want. The new album is good. Musically, it's old guys, just like people that are like the, that's the thing. People are like, I love the music, it meant a lot to me. And like, he's back and it doesn't matter. I wouldn't go see him in concert when given my money. But people are like, he has a mental illness. Again, I'm just saying, it's not how, what I'm saying. People say he's a mental illness. He has since come out and said he wants to reconnect with the Jewish community. - Fuck him. - On behalf of the, I'm not saying yourself. On behalf of the Jewish community, fuck Kanye West. - Yeah, I mean, it's, again, you were welcome to know anything and everything, you know, about him and make your own decision, right? You know, he is not in the Epstein files. He's not a fucking pedophile. He has caused a lot of harm. And I, I mean, I can't believe this. It's just, my point is, people are so quick to forget. - There is some justice in the world. Lisa Vanderpump has removed Dakota from Vanderpump Villa this season, which they should. And I think that was your idea. And I remember saying this a couple weeks ago that Taylor gets kicked off the Bachelor at, and Dakota should be edited out of other things as well. So thank you for taking our idea. And they have announced that he will be edited out of the footage. - Reyna, I love when people get edited out after the fact. So this is a real deep cut, but C.S. to Key, you know, used to fuck with that show. And the guy Alex in C.S. to Key got in trouble for racist stuff and got canceled. His dad, I think, was like, one of the creators of the show. He was like the main character. He was the top main character. And they had to edit him out of a season. It was crazy because he was there. And then you could tell someone was talking to him. The editing was crazy. I watched that season for the editing out of him to just see how they did it. It was hilarious. - Is she so funny to watch scenes where you know people are sitting at a dinner table together? - Yes, yes. - And they have edited them out. - And then there's like, there was a summer house thing that came out where they had said they edited that one guy out of that one scene, Emeril. And then people were speculating 'cause he just didn't want to pay him that episode. The key only had one scene at dinner and the key was there and they edited him out. That was like some tea. But anyway, I just find that stuff really interesting, fascinating. - So at least one person is being held accountable and that's Dakota as he should be. - Okay, so we are just gonna take a quick break. While we're talking about pop culture and TV shows, we have a TV show we think you guys are going to like. This is the Testaments on Hulu. And with Vibral, you're borrowing all of these pieces and they're really high quality brands and designers. So I'm talking like Prada Fendi, St. Laurent Dior, and you sign up. So the Tiger Woods body cam footage from his DUI was released like right at the way everyone sent me this. So last week, I was like, when are we going to get the body cam footage? Someone of our listeners so much sent me picture in my
of Paul Revere, like the British are coming, like on a horse. She was like, the body can't put it just in the leaves. Like everyone was sending me the memes. There was these ET memes. The pictures are insane. He's like screaming in the backseat. He's not, okay, I was like, he looks all sweaty. I got so confused. I thought we were seeing photos from the crash. I thought he was flipping in the car. I was so confused. Oh, you didn't know that he's in the cop car. But he was in the cop car cuffed and he was yawning. And he's yawning. It looks like a roller coaster pick. It looks like when they take a picture of you like screaming on a roller coaster. KFC posted, I said not the roller coaster pick. I thought he was yelling. I thought he was yelling, get the president on the line for me. Okay, so yes, then he calls Donald Trump. (laughing) If I'm doing piece of shit stuff, I guess I'll call the biggest piece of shit there is to get me out of it. If I'm the president and a grown ass adult calls me, I got a DUI. I'm sending you to jail right now on my own accord. Not him. He's like, honestly, I wasn't doing anything besides bombing another country. I got time. Do not call me. Yeah, exactly. He's like, oh, sorry, let me set this truth social tweet aside for the second where I threaten a whole country and circle back to your DUI. Like, if you're my kid, fine, but a grown adult, let me call the president to get me out of this DUI. I can't. I mean, he's just this like, it doesn't, I hate that it doesn't surprise me. Of course. Nothing about this surprises me. But the memes are fire. There's one of him kneeling. The kneeling meme has gone crazy. And then the ET meme, like, there's just so many. And again, he looks so fucked up. Like, I don't know why I'm surprised. You're surprised because this is, by the way, one of the most, I would say top five most famous athletes that has ever lived. That's true. Like, it's like him, Tom Brady, and LeBron. Like, who's more famous than these people? Oh my god. If LeBron got a DUI, I'd never recover. I'd be like, my king. And now he's like, I'm gonna come and check here. Actually, you might be a check this week. I might guys stay tuned. This girl, I was on the street corner yesterday. It was like, I have a vent with Shaq. I was like, scrr. Stay tuned. So Reina voiced notes me. And she's like, I have a surprise. I have a present for you. I have a surprise for you. And she's like, met this girl. She's like, she has an event with Shaq. And the way you said it, I heard Shaq. And I said, I don't care. You don't know me at all. Like, we've met him multiple times. Like, what? I literally, it took me a minute until you said something else that made me realize it was Shaq. Because I heard Shaq. Alive a list. It wasn't even that. They're so messed up. OK. Sometimes I actually don't think I have a list anymore. Now that I have the chin and plant, I feel like sometimes my mouth sounds like there's rocks in it. So I think that's what you were hearing. But that is so funny, because I was like, I have a gift for you. And you probably were like, and then I was like Shaq. Oh my god. OK. So anyway, that was really something you guys for knowing what I like and sending to me a million times. So as of this week, a judge has 10 of Blake Liveley's claims against Justin Baldoni. I think there's 13 total. So 10 were tossed out. We still will get a trial. And she said, I'm still happy to go to trial about these three main parts of my case. But the main sexual harassment-- So they dropped the sexual harassment stuff. What's left on the table is the smear campaign stuff, right? Yeah. And she basically says, I'm glad to be able to be a voice for people that I know this happened to and people that I don't know this has happened to. But there is real hard evidence that this campaign was launched to make me look bad, to make my businesses look bad, to take work away from me, to make sure I couldn't be employable anymore. And she posted on Instagram. Do you read her whole statement? Who long is long? I need a TLDR, I don't care. I thought I'd care if I don't. Claude, give me the TLDR. Claude, OK, girl. Well, we made a pack to stop. So that's the latest on Blake and Justin. So we'll still see what shakes out. I mean, he did try to ruin her career, right? That goes-- like, that will-- I feel like that's-- Like, it's beautiful. I think his defense will be, like, she deserved it. And they tried to ruin mine. And her and her husband bullied me. And they brought all these claims that are not true. And actually, and I just think they both have acted terrible. We don't know. We'll see how this shakes out. But we will get a trial. Yes. OK. And Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton make their relationship Instagram official with high-speed Ferrari drive. So I think my husband came over this video and not over Kim over the car. He broke the news to us. He sent it to us. Yes. And Shoshank is on top of the top of culture, surprisingly. But he sent this to us. And I thought it was about the car. And then at the end, you see Kim. And she sends, like, that's insane. Just like such a hot take. Like, obviously, this Ferrari is fucking insane. You're the most famous F1 driver in a Ferrari. That's insane. Like, OK, Kim. But I guess they're together. And you know, it's not surprising to me at all. And they're both short and powerful and famous. And I see this for them. For sure people find each other. This is surprising. They're both little people. And she-- well, Kanye is small. Like, she only works out with some small people. I don't know. She ended that marriage with Chris Humphrey. That's weak. She was like, you're too tall. I can't do this. I can't say. 100% loves a short kid. I think that this is the sexiest hard launch I've ever seen. I mean, what is a harder way? I think I hard-launched my relationship like in front of a Ferris wheel or some shit. Wasn't it? What Ferris wheel? Or are we on a boat? No, I think maybe I hard-launched on that boat for your birthday. Regardless, it wasn't in my F1 driver's Ferrari. No, I said, Shashank, you didn't even hard-launch me in your M3. Because his car means the world to him. And I just-- He had hard-launched you on a balcony in Malibu. Is that what it is? Is that what that photo is on his birthday on that balcony in Malibu? He doesn't post a lot. That first photo of you. The first time he ever posted me, it was a picture from New York. And I think it was later in the summer. Who if the first fellow sent it to me before I even saw it myself? What was the photo? I put it like laying in the grass. No, that was his birthday, though. Oh, the laying in the grass. Yeah, the laying in the grass thing. But I soft-launched him and then I-- Whatever, regardless, it's hot. The Ferrari's hot, hot-tick. Ferrari's our hot. Good for you, Kim. I guess. OK. Lastly, I mean, so much is happening in the world that's so unbelievably disgusting. I mean, we really have the 25th amendment on the table. Trump is unhinged. I don't even understand. Whatever, if you guys can do your research and see what's happening in the world. But I just wanted to address that he did fire Pambondi. A lot of people sent that to me. I love to talk about Pambondi. And he fired her. And the women are getting fired. And the men not quite yet. And I just love this quote, that women who carry water for the patriarchy always drown first. And there's this weird correlation between that and a man of a totala. No, of course it is. When you send her men and you choose men and you stab women in the back, you pay the price. So let that be a lesson. She's a traitor against her own country. Yeah, exactly. That's what it is. When it comes to the government, I guess we expect that from white men, from Pete Hagseth and-- I'm just a cosper-tell. This is a white man. I mean, whatever these guys do, yeah. But these women, they feel worse to us as women and they fall first. And never do this. I mean, it's a lesson. I always said, "Pambondi will be the first one to rot in prison." And she sold her soul to this man that was never going to save her. Well, her and Kristi know both. I mean, when they ceased to be valuable to these men, they were the first to go. Of course they were. So anyway, anyways. Well, let's wrap with something positive and wonderful, actually special. Yes. The dials at 50k. Once the trailer dropping. Tomorrow? No. Let's try a little drop a little closer, too. Oh, OK. Well, let me get-- I'll get you on my schedule. We'll loop in a lot of it, and you'll get on the press schedule.
