The Rosanna Pansino Situation is Scary + Trisha Goes OFF on Harry Jowsey… | Just Trish Ep. 307

The transcript blends promotional content with a candid, conversational discussion centered around entertainment, personal experiences, and cultural trends. It promotes Netflix House at Galleria Dallas as a destination for themed fun, featuring fan-favorite show inspirations and interactive experiences like arcade games, food, and exclusive merchandise. A key highlight is the emphasis on Pepsi as a flavor amplifier, linking it to enhanced enjoyment during meals and social gatherings. The narrative expands into personal anecdotes, including a deep dive into Burning Man and aura farming, where Bethany Frankel shares her preparations and the unique, sometimes cringey, aspects of the event. The conversation also touches on fan culture, true crime (such as the Harry Jowsey reunion), and social media dynamics, featuring humorous observations about fashion, celebrity appearances, and digital trends. There's a recurring tone of authenticity and self-awareness, as characters reflect on their experiences, emotions, and judgments—particularly around manipulation, personal boundaries, and the boundaries of reality in online content. The piece concludes with light-hearted commentary on Halloween, Horror Nights, and lifestyle choices, underscoring a broader theme of personal connection, humor, and shared human experience in a digitally saturated world.

Wait, is it going? - I don't know, are we? - Do you want us to go? - I mean, I'm just, I'm not gonna be here for the whole podcast 'cause I'm leaving with Bethany Flankel to Burning Man. What? We're going aura farming. We're gonna do aura battles at Burning Man, which is like the ultimate. - Is this your Burning Man outfit? You did not dress like this for Burning Man. - What do you mean, the hat? This is literally my Burning Man jacket. It still has the dust on it. - That's your gardening hat. - I've literally seen you with your boots. - Right, when I'm outside, outdoors in the sun. But I know, you know what? I messed up. Is it cold in here to you? - No. - I'm freezing. I've been freezing all morning. Lola blankets. I was pulling them up. - I can see the big Lola blanket on your makeup chair. - I was freezing. I've been freezing all morning and I'm plateauing. - I'm plateaued at 201. So I've been there for four weeks at 201. And it's just like, I don't understand. Like I just am, I'm just so cold and it's-- - I know, you need to do a pregnancy test. - God, don't even say that. I mean, that is true. I do feel this cold, but I don't think it's, I don't think it's that, but that would be crazy. - Or, I mean, you've maybe reached a new level of skinny. - He was so normal, like 10 minutes ago. Like 20 minutes prior, we're like, what kind of toothpaste? He's wearing it as our last day. It was so cute. Now I was like, who is this? And the new shirt, you had a tree shirt on earlier. What happened to that shirt? It looked like you were made of bark. - Well, I'm not gonna go to Burning Man with an Amazon shirt. - You cannot? - This is the desert shirt. - Oh, okay, so you are Burning Man-ing it up. Oh my God. Well, if you wanna know how cringe I find Burning Man in general, but mostly when I met Moses on Instagram, he had only Burning Man photos up. And I was like, I hate everything about this. And I almost didn't go. We talk about it in the book and I was just like, oh my gosh, like, it was giving cringe. But check it out, Crying on the Kitchen Floor. Moses' introduction is the Burning Man. And your name was Clear Being, which is on Instagram. - Yeah, 'cause it's like reference to water. - But it's also Scientology. - It's nuts. Scientology just had one documentary done about them, so going clear or something. - Is that why you changed it? 'Cause too many people thought you were a Scientologist. He was Clear Being when I met him. - Also, I'm just like, okay, it's my name. I'm a person, so it's just gonna be who I am. - Wow, that's a new development. You're always like, I'm water, I'm not a person, I'm not a gender. - No, as far as like identity on social media. - A brand, if you will. - Yeah, exactly. I learned from, you know. - You can't be. - Literally, we talked about you, me, and your sister, and I was like, okay, I'll just. - Oh, really? About the Clear Being? 'Cause we're like, this is confusing. - About having your own name on your own social media. - It also reminded me of like the airport. Like, you were like representing Clear. I was like, this is a lot. - It's not that literal, but. - Buy the book if you want to know about how Burning Man almost kept us apart. - Yeah, it almost did, I know. Anyways, pre-ordered today, love it. I know Moses is scared to read the book or listen to the book, 'cause he's like, to have your story be told where you get no say in it, you know, like from someone else's perception or reality. - Do you name him by government name, or do you like drop the pants as to who it is? Like, Jeanette McCurdy, like, you know. - The whole book, I just reference Moses as somebody else. - You say no names, you just say like, I'll name him, like, Water Guy, you know. - Oh, that would have been really, that's very what people do now. Like, Football Man, he would have been Water Man. I do name him by his name, as I do everybody. Only one name had to be changed, huh? - You doxed me. - I doxed you. Only one name had to be changed, and I think it was, which is like, I've told the story, I've said his name. I guess he's just not super public, although his articles are about, I don't know. One name had to be changed. I'm not really sure why, but everything else, out there. Well, what a way to start the podcast. - Bethany Frankel. - Burning Man is upon us. - You just saw that she was packing, and then you're like, oh, I feel a. - No, I've seen a bunch. First of all, when you go to, like, you feel it in the air. You know when it's the week of Burning Man. There's a, you feel it, you know it. - You feel it, Oscar? - It's like a holiday spirit. Like, sometimes you feel, it's Christmas, right? It's Thanksgiving, it's Burning Man. - Right, right. Something is burning, that's right. - Something is burning. We should have done that for Patreon, got a Burning Man. It's just so far. - It is quite far, yeah. - Do you remember. - Reno, and then driving, and. - Do you remember Def Noodles going to Burning Man? - That is so niche. - He literally. - No, he doesn't know. - Yeah, but it was insane, and also so dangerous. Like, he literally just drove his car there with his assistant, dragged another person there. No water, no food, no shelter, nothing. Just thinking, we're just gonna go there. And it was insane. - I have no idea what happened to him. I mean. - I think he became, like, a Republican or something. - Okay. - Okay. - That's what you know about him. And then he just disappeared forever, okay. Bethany Frankel has Supermodel Cafe open in Southampton. - I saw that. - You guys can go. Oh, okay, Bethany Frankel hot topics start now. She commented, actually, and said I was very skinny on a TikTok, too, a few days ago. I commented, I was feeling super skinny one day, even though I'm still 201. I've been 201 for four weeks, but then, you know, sometimes you're, like, a fat 201. Sometimes your belly's up, but sometimes your belly's really flat when you wake up in the morning. It's very weird. Sometimes I have, like, a huge belly, same weight. Sometimes I'm flat. That day I had a really flat stomach and I felt so skinny. I was like, oh my God, I'm so skinny. I'm 200 pounds and I feel so tiny. And I think Bethany Frank will come and be like, can't even see you. It's like, okay. Coming from Skinny Queen herself. Isn't that her thing? The skinny drinks? Skinny girl. Skinny girl. And she loves being skinny and eating like skinny tuna. She's always like, this is my supermodel diet. Yeah. She eats a bagel and she takes out all the bread and she puts cottage cheese in it. Which I love because we would be best friends because I do that except I eat the middle. Like I always take the middle out and then I leave. Remember, I leave the crust. So we would be really good friends. And I guess we're big fans here, Bethany. So if you want to come on the podcast, Moses follows all your hot topics. I think she's funny. I think she's good. She has a great body. She's fit. It'd just be interesting to see how her journey at Burning Man goes. Oh, you want to hear that follow up? Okay. Well, I'm excited. We could have gotten there, but it's in New York, the South Hampton. I just have another idea for a Patreon. We can go to, let me just want to go to Beverly Hills. Have you seen the Sporty and Rich store in Beverly Hills? Yes. Everyone's been going. Or maybe it's West Hollywood, but it's like. What is it? It's like, I don't know. It's like aesthetic though. It's like pictures. Right. You can like, it's like a smoothie place, but also a clothing store. Yeah. And you can sit there and take cool pictures. Yeah. Right. I've gotten Darian a hoodie there for Christmas. Oh, you've been? No, I ordered it online, but they had like a UCLA specific line. And when he was like at grad school, I got him one. You went to UCLA? Yeah, for grad school. Oh my God. I didn't know. I didn't even know that. Whoa. That's really smart. Yeah. So I am a little familiar with Sporty and Rich. They have a cool store now, like a cool store. I think on. Melrose or something. I want to go there. But I want to do like all the cool trendy spots because there's the La La Land Reserve. It's like the fancy La La Land in Beverly Hills. There's the Dior Cafe. There's like so many places I want to go that I'm like, why would I ever do these except for Patreon? Although I know the new Air Mom, we got to do that Patreon with Jimmy. There's like, there's a lot in my head that I want to do. Obviously the new menu items. I was so excited when I sent you. They have new nuggets. I know. There's a lot out in all the eateries. I know. I was like, wait, that sounds really fun actually to go try all those things. Yes. We are on a, we're on a tight schedule today. Kind of all came up last minute, but very excited nonetheless. Yeah. So we did the Patreon this morning doing the hot topics today. Rachel Kwan and Jay Hart are here today. They brought Korean snacks for us to try. So they'll be here a little later. Good. They came in. They flew in for my music video, which is very exciting from Korea. And they came on Friday and I met them and then like we're here for another week because she's going to go visit her family in Louisiana. And she's like, yeah, we're going to like go to Disneyland and do all this stuff. And I was like, you want to come to the podcast? And she's like, yeah. So she was really cool. So they brought all these Korean snacks. And she wanted to, she was like, is Oscar here? I was like, no, he's not, but he'll be there Monday. So there's a bunch of Korean snacks in there. Oh, I'm so excited. We can try. And I'm really excited. They were really nice. I can't wait to talk to them. Oops. What was that? Everything's fine. Everything's fine. And then that. And then, yes, we go to Arby's to try their new steak nuggets and Shirley Temple's. Then we do not love lying to wrap at 9 p.m. So it's a back to back Monday and a lot of hot topics. And I'm not just saying that. I feel like there's a lot actually. There's so many. I felt like I felt like Stephanie Sue this weekend. I felt like I was doing deep dives. There's so many like true crime things I was looking up at. You know what I mean? Like, yeah, you hear about this. Moses chronically online. Well, we can talk about later or not. If you didn't watch it, then I'm really screwed because I'm so bad at like doing it. But did you see the death of a pastor's wife on Netflix? I read an article about it, but I haven't watched it on Netflix. How are you guys not? My entire TikTok was just like part one, part two, part three. Like, I know all the details. And then it became like true crime with Lindsay. Lindsay, there's no time for any other. Lindsay Clancy I was on. Stephanie Sue just did a video about this influencer named Valeria in Mexico. Like, I was like Rosanna Pansino. I was just like, I was, I was. We were, yeah. But then I was like, maybe I'm too close to it. Because then I texted her to make sure. And then I was like, oh, my God, I feel like I'm too close. And then I got scared. I was like, oh, my God, I'm too close to everything. I don't know. It was a lot. I don't know how true crime people do it. But that was that was that. But anyways. Oh, you also wore boots on the ground. Yeah. Yeah. Jimmy was boots on the ground. Everyone was boots on the ground this weekend. I know. He was at the drag brunch. Yes, he was at the Trisha Paytas drag brunch at Hamburger Mary's right in West Hollywood this weekend. So fun. Yeah. I heard it was actually even overflowed to where does Jeremy work? Jeremy works at a bar nearby. It's no longer Rocco's. I can't think. But he was at a bar next door. And he's like, they're trickled in there. And they're talking about you. He's like, there's so much Trisha lore here. And I was like, oh, my gosh, this is very exciting. We missed out. Yeah. Jimmy said they outsold their Shrek theme brunch. So you're bigger than Shrek. Shrek officially. Period. That's so exciting. How did you know? I think they told him. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. I did see some people that have come to my shows go and dress up and like costume. And it looked like it did look like a good time. I was very sad to not go. We I miss my chemical romance, too. I couldn't get out of the house this weekend because it's just I have kids. And if we couldn't find a sitter, honestly, I was trying to for both the drag brunch. What if I just like show up like last minute just by myself? That would have been fun. And then I tried to go to my chemical romance last night. We cannot find a sitter on the weekends because a lot of people go to church. Everyone's at church on Saturdays and Sundays. So I was like, OK, which is good. It's fine. But I was very sad. But we did get videos from multiple people, including Jimmy. Jimmy got pulled up. I know. Yeah. Jimmy got pulled up onto the stage at the Trisha Paytas drag brunch, which was fierce. Do you think they knew he was in the Just Trish universe? I would assume so. Yeah. You think? I would think so. I think they would clock him. He's pretty public. That's true. Acacia forgot was there. She was. I think she was wearing the bubbly costume from the music video, which I really like. I really love. Yeah. All my music videos, even this one, too. I just let all the dancers, everybody just keep everything because I have too many storage units and not enough room to store. So anything I buy and choose and just everyone keep everything because it's just it's too much to take home. So that was exciting. You were boots on the ground at the Daisy Chain. Yes. Daisy Chain Fields. Olivia Rodrigo's all female music festival. Is that OK? Luckily, I can't see far, but just OK. Your microphone is covering her eyes. So for a minute. OK. There it is. What do you think it was for a minute? I thought for a minute. Rick Schofield. I thought it was. Is it OK? No, I don't. Well, you can leave the name. Maybe Miranda Sings. You thought this was Miranda. I think because of the purple shirt, the purple shirt and the hair, maybe. Does she do braids like that? I don't know. I don't think she does braids, mama. I think she would have a red lipstick on. Like, honey, I'm so sorry. The eyes and the microphone coming down was covering the lips. OK, so I just saw. OK, I thought it was because it looks like something she would do, like a school photo. So I don't know. I can't see. And I couldn't read the name. But now I see it's Olivia Rodrigo. Well, you will not be on the lineup for Daisy Chainfield's next year. No, I love Olivia Rodrigo because I love that she also brings old people everywhere. Like Stevie Nicks, you said when you saw her, she had an old band. Like, I would love to perform with her. Like, I love that she's just with the old crowd and the pink. Did you get the pink Taco Bell drink? No, they were doing like little sample cups at the Daisy Chainfield's. There was like a Taco Bell activation. But the line was really long. That was kind of the theme of the festival was really long. The lines, apparently. Coco Mocha was on. She was like, I can't get in. Yes. So, first of all, Olivia raised $10 million to donate to different like female driven charities. Wow. And then Melinda French, Melinda Gates French, Melinda French Gates. She matched it and donated another $10 million. So she raised $20 million to support different. How did she get that much money? I think she's like a billionaire. But she does a lot for, she gives back a lot. A female billionaire? Yeah. I feel like we never hear about them. I mean, they exist. Really? I feel like we never, ever hear about a female billionaire. Isn't it? She's doing good. She's also Bill Gates' ex-wife. I knew it. I was like, Gates is too common of a last name. Oh. Is that how she's a billionaire? I believe so, yes. And she gives a lot of money away. I love that. I love that. And yeah, so it was like all the acts also, like they didn't make any money. Like everyone performed just to raise money for charities. Like all the net proceeds went directly to charity, which I thought was great. Yeah. That's actually so nice. And I feel like a lot of people were skeptical because it's like Olivia's music festival. It's the first one. I think a lot of people were curious about how it was going to go. But I thought it was really like well done, really well organized. There was like a lot of activations. There was like Lego. There was Etsy. Oh, Etsy. Taco Bell was there. Yeah. And it was really cute. It was just all, all the performers were female and all women. And obviously most of the people there were mostly girl, girly pops. And then a lot of gays. A lot of boyfriends, though. So I was like, oh, no. Yeah. Don't bring your boyfriend to an all-female thing. It's like, no. A couple allies. Because, yeah, the one rude encounter we had was with a straight guy. Oh, what happened? I didn't even know it was happening. But my coworker, I went for work, by the way. So I went with my coworker and we were waiting for Chapel Roan set. And I guess like we were standing and someone was sitting in front of us. And then there was like a couple, a straight couple. And the couple was like, oh, my God. And the guy was like, can you not tower over us like that? To who? To who did they say that to? To my coworker. But I didn't even hear any of this. Is your coworker female or male? He's a male. He's a twink. Oh, okay. So, yeah. And it's like there's 45,000 people standing in this grass lawn. Like, if you're sitting down, we have nowhere to go. Like, of course, we're going to be standing over you. That's, yeah, that's a weird thing to say at a festival. I know. Yeah. I think he was hitting on him. Yeah, something was weird. It doesn't sound very straight. Who says that? Who says that to somebody? Yeah, he's like, you're towering over us. And then he said, my coworker said he grabbed his leg at one point and, like, pushed it out of the way because he was too close to, he was allegedly standing too close to the guy's backpack. So, he, like, grabbed his ankle and, like, tried to push it away. Yeah. And I'm like, and he didn't even tell me any of this until, like, we left and we were sitting down. And I was like, you should have told me this because I would have said something. Maybe that's why he didn't. Maybe. Yeah. Don't say it in the moment. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my God. I'm like, yeah, of course, our one, yeah, terrible encounter was with this straight man there. But that's why they shouldn't go anywhere, but specifically to the festival. That's so weird. Keep them at home. Yeah. yeah um but it was so much fun i'm really happy i went i was really skeptical too because it was so hot like we are in the middle the middle of like a crazy heat wave not like a normal southern california summer like it's at least 10 degrees hotter than usual and it was all outdoors so it was like 95 but it felt over 100 where was it irvine oh so like orange that's what i was telling you orange county is like closer to the beach so we're more like yeah so it's a little bit cooler than like where we are but it just everything is outside so it just felt so hot plus like 45 000 people you were right about people passing out girls were dropping like flies i saw girls passing out left and right scary yeah so that was like the criticism of the festival i guess is that like it was just hot but it was kind of out of obviously anyone's control very tana con where it's just like it's just i was sunburned i was sunburned yeah i did get sunburned um but the food lines were also really long everyone was saying and the water refills stations were long i guess i got lucky because every time i brought my cat's eye water bottle to represent to represent mind you when i when i got the weavers notification by the way that i got it on thursday i was at work in the office i just met with like the music team to talk about the coverage or whatever so excited so thrilled and then i get the weavers notification uh update regarding daisy chain fields and i was like oh and then i saw that megan sprained her ankle i was like oh no the girls were not performing i was like oh god i like held my phone up around the office i was like you guys this is 9 11 this is not i literally felt like front lines i was like one of the first ones to know because i got the notification i keep my notifications on for weavers they do really well i mean i don't know if you're like oh my god are they okay chad was really good who my co-worker that was going also my manager chad's the twink chad is the twink towering yeah yeah my manager because they do really well for us now i feel like i was pioneered the entertainment tonight cats like coverage so they own the beat you know um they were they were a little gag a lot of people concerned about how hard they're working and their well-being yeah i think they need to just probably stop right i think they just i do think they need a break but um megan actually still went to daisy chain fields to like uh talk about baby to baby to introduce the charity yeah it was megan lara and yun chai still showed up just just to speak well why didn't they just that's gonna be them on tour it's just gonna be those three i don't know what happened to daniella daniella wasn't there but megan showed up with her sprint ankle she said my ankle is in hiatus but i'm still showing up so okay and she had like a little booty on like the cast yeah i do worry for them i hope they're okay sofia is still on hiatus she's gonna be taking her break and missing the european leg of their tour hopefully by the time us rolls around she feels better that's wild quick cat's i change it and her like little uh instagram story talking about why she's taking her hiatus like one of the lines was like uh you cannot pour from an empty cup and i thought that was like so beautiful that's true you do have to like look after yourself before you can show up for other people i thought that's true and work with kids with relationships yeah gotta pour into your own cup yeah i poured my own cup a lot but other than that i think daisy chain feels for the first one went really really well it was super organized um obviously the heat was a downer but what can you do about that hope i want like a knock over music festival maybe next year she can push it back a little bit yeah i was supposed to meet up with christy from spill shash and coco moco but it happened there's no service like i had the media lounge uh in between which had wi-fi but then when you leave oh my gosh i literally was like sos like no service at all that sounds dangerous sounds like a horror movie i might sham one but luckily it's all like you know girly so it felt like i felt like everyone everyone was like looking out for each other but what if you like passed out who's how are you gonna call 911 if there's no service there's a medical tent and a lot of like staff around because that's why people would pass out and then everyone would be like help help someone fainted and then someone would rush over to grab them is a real thing happening i swear we know three people who fainted and i'm just like it is hot it is so hot we haven't we don't like we cannot leave our house we left on friday for the music video and they said the air was on and it was like literally saying just sweating couldn't stand like it was so crazy and so it was we went to a coffee shop to get air but it's just like nowhere we've been just standing inside a chapel room when she performed hot to go she's like the song is fitting today oh yeah she had like a stewardess outfit on too she was yeah well she was cosplaying fifth element i don't know oh it's a movie yeah the purple the little yeah like the little flight attendant oh yeah with the bob yeah i always thought that was like that white outfit with the orange bob is that not fifth element no there's like the sexy white one that people always do at cosplay it's a different one that's the one of the main characters the girl with the orange hair yeah yeah orange bob oh there's a different one yeah okay but i knew when chapel showed up with that bob and she came out pointing and he was wearing these fugly jeans the bob was fierce i was like this girl's about to blow my mind yeah did she and did oh oh oh she was five miles away brought us there yeah so i got home by like midnight so everyone had a shuttle there was parking there that was another horror story for people a lot of people were like trapped for like hours to get out of the parking lot um but that's more on like the irvine police that didn't like have people directing traffic yeah it's not really olivia's fault but yeah chapel served i saw dochi as well though she was amazing oh my god i haven't seen she hasn't performed in a while right yeah it was like her first performance in a minute and then obviously olivia was so good yeah she exciting already this morning no i am seated for it but i figured on the food day we were going to add that to our food the personal pan pizza oh my gosh that's very exciting i hope i still have it by the time we go i think they should i mean they posted this tick tock yesterday yeah but now we're talking about it and i might sell out All right, I'm back. Might. But by the time this goes up, this goes up tomorrow. Yeah, when are we doing it? We can do it tomorrow, no? Okay. Yeah. I'm excited for tomorrow. You're here tomorrow. I did sell out of the stickers, though. He said it so seriously. I want the damn stickers. Well, maybe we can go in person. Say hello. Be like, hi. My name is Trisha Paytas. Do you have any more Living Hard to Bring Home stickers? Sometimes I have them in the back. Sometimes it works. I've sometimes gone to a place and then they're like, oh, actually. They're like, oh, we had a few in the back. Yes. Where was that? Everywhere. The coach started that one time with those heart purses. Like, actually, I got. The guy sold me his. He's like, actually, I can sell you mine. I was like, okay. They do that sometimes. Not often. But sometimes it'll work. They'll be like, ooh, I come this way. That's very exciting. I know. The pink drinks are taking over. I love that. What else happened there? That was cat's eye. Okay, that was it. You didn't see Coco Moco then? No. I kept texting. I would go back to the media tent and text her because I had Wi-Fi. And then she'd be like, okay, I'm over here. And then I would walk. I would try to go to where the general vicinity where she was seated, where Christy was sitting. And then none of us had service. Everyone just. You couldn't run into each other just by chance? I was trying. Because she was like, oh, I'm over here. I'm in between Verizon and Depop. And I'm like, gotcha. So then I was like walking around. But like, there's so many people. Like, literally. I, the photos from the aerial view of how many people were there. I did see, yeah. Makes me a little sick. Because I'm like, damn, I can't believe I was in the middle of that crowd. I can't. I cannot do a festival. It's so amazing that a new festival. And especially when you see so many shows getting canceled. And for them to be successful like that. Yeah. Did you do any of the activations? Yeah, I did Etsy. Oh, I got this little necklace at the Etsy booth. They were just different sellers. So Olivia and Etsy picked like 20 different sellers to come and sell. I love that. Like crazy inspiration. Like inspired merchandise. Or like anything that was kind of like girly and fun. Like anything that fits their aesthetic, I guess. Is her album Daisy? No, just for the festival. Daisy Chain. Why is it called Daisy Chain? I think the meaning is, God, for like the flower crown. But then also like the symbolism. Like Daisy's like feminine. And when you link them all together, they can be really powerful. Something like that. Okay, cute. I think of Kate Perry's daughter. I think it's Daisy Perry. I know, but yeah, I do think of her. Daisy Bloom. Oh. Endless Summer Escapes. Star Trek. And here. Beat the heat. Get your tickets today at Netflix.com slash house. The Perfect. Lunch Combo. That first bite of your favorite sub. Followed by ice cold Pepsi. Add a couple of friends. And now that's next level. Suddenly, the laughs get louder. The stories keep flowing. And the food tastes better. Because Pepsi brings out more flavor. More fun. And more of the moment. Food deserves Pepsi. Is that her name? Orlando Bloom. I think she has Orlando's last name. I would assume. Daisy Bloom. Daisy Bloom, which is fierce. It's giving. It's giving. It's giving. It ends with us. Yeah, what's her name in the movie? Not Lila. Lily Bloom. Lily. Is her name Lily Bloom? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's so funny. What's up with that? She was asking for a ton of money, and the judge was like, that's too much. She was asking for a million. Blake Lively was asking for millions in legal fees from Justin Baldoni, and the judge granted her, I think it was $450,000. That's so funny. She's like, I need $8 million, and he's like, how about $400,000? Yeah, it was a lot. Yeah. I love that you just know. I love that you can just recount something. You're just like, actually, it was. I'm off. No, that was right. Actually, it was this. I was like, God, you're so smart. Because $450,000 is just one month in lawyer fees. Yeah, and that was a long process. Oh, yes. That is interesting. So you only get $450,000. Someone didn't like her, I guess. Sometimes if you just get a judge that doesn't like you, they're just like, actually, you're getting $450,000. That's wild. So there's Lily Bloom days. Okay, well, and you did the Etsy. Did you do the Verizon activation? No. You had to be a Verizon customer, then you could get access to a better viewing spot or something. I didn't get that because I don't have Verizon. I do. I know. Damn. I was thinking about that. Remember for 40 years? When you're the Verizon spokesperson, next year we'll have VIP, I'm sure. Love that. Yeah. And then, oh, there was a Lego, which was really cute. They were making them. Everyone could come and add to the Lego mural, which was sweet. There was a wishing tree that Yoko Ono designed. And you could write a wish, and then you tie it to the tree. Oh, that's cute. Yeah. One wish willow. It was really sweet. Well, I guess 45,000 wish willow. Did you do one? Did you do one? No, I didn't do one. But I did walk under it when I was leaving, and it was really cute. All the little wishes. Yeah. I loved that. The girlhood of it all. I'm like, this is so sweet. Yeah, that does sound kind of fun, actually. Yeah. If it wasn't the crowds, if I didn't have, what's the fear of crowds? It's like agoraphobia, but no. I know. It has to be more specific than that, I would think. Oh, demophobia, which sounds demonic. Like fear of demons, too. Yeah. Throw that in there. I also have that fear. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have demophobia, especially like a lot of crowds. I know. Like 45,000? I was really anxious going. I had to keep reminding myself how much I loved everyone that was performing. Especially, I realized I hadn't actually seen Chapel live, which is crazy, because I feel like I have. Yeah, yeah. You're so in it. Because I guess she came out with Olivia at her last concert a couple years ago, but I haven't seen a full just Chapel set. So I was gagged at just how great she is. She is such a fierce performer. She's so tiny. She's so short. She's just so tiny. She's so tiny. Like on the stage. The stage is humongous. Yeah. But she comes up and she has so much stage presence that like. It fills it up. Yeah. Like she owns everything. Like she's so fierce. Like I couldn't get over it. That's cool she did. And she hasn't performed in a while either, right? Yeah. I don't think she's performed since her Pasadena shows last, or earlier this year, or last year. Yeah. And yeah, the fact that all these artists did it just for free. Because you think about like how much they get paid to do Coachella, like millions, you know? So the fact that everyone came to do it for free was all for charity. Because you have to pay the band, dancers. Whoever else, you bring costumes, all that stuff like that. And it was a cool fundraiser. I felt good. Even like buying a t-shirt or whatever, I'm like, it's for charity, you know? Yeah. When it all goes to a good cause. Well, I'll do it next year. I'll do it for free. Come on, Daisy Chainfield. This lineup is going to be something fierce. Yep. I mean, was Addison Rae there? No. No, no Addison. Was she performing somewhere this weekend? No. There was another music festival in Europe that like Zara Larson did. Yes. Yeah. Yes, yes, yes. I saw that. I think so. Probably that one over there, I would think. But I feel like now that she, Olivia, did this one and so many like huge, like Stevie Nicks, Landis Morissette, like these women that don't normally perform as much, that they're, like these legends came out. I feel like even next year she can get like even more. Bigger for sure. Yeah. Yeah. Such as Trisha K. Paytas. I'm ready. I've been waiting for someone to ask me to collab feature. I would absolutely love to. Did you go to Horror Nights this weekend? No, not yet. It's open this weekend? Yeah. Or I think, yeah. There was a preview night or like the previews opened up a couple weeks ago, but I think now it's rolling. Can I tell you I'm over Halloween? It's because I knew this was going to happen because you started too damn early. Like the big ass candy corn was there. I know. I knew it. I knew it was going to happen. And I want that black tree out. It doesn't go with my aesthetic. It just looks like a big fuzzy cat and I'm always scared of it when I come downstairs to turn on the lights. I'm always like, ah! And I'm just like, and I know, I was like, we're in a Home Goods, look at the pot. I was like, no. Pumpkin spice, nothing. I want nothing. I want it to be Christmas now. I'm like, I'm so over Halloween. And then I saw Horror Nights and I was like, ugh. Like, no. I knew it. I knew it. Darian, too, at Home Goods. We were at Home Goods again, I know. And he was like trying to get caught up in the Halloween stuff. I'm like, no. I don't want a pumpkin yet. It's too damn early. It's too damn early. I'm over it. I'm just like, I thought it's already passed. It says Trick or Treat right behind you. I knew it. I can't. I can't. Why do we have ghosts? Why do we have all of this? It's just like, I just wanted to be clean girl until Christmas. We'll also skip Thanksgiving, too. I don't want any of those. What are those horns? Cornucopia. Yeah. What is a cornucopia? What is that? Those are like horns. But what is it? Is it meant to be food? Yeah. It's like the food is spilling out of the cornucopia. Do you put your food in there? No. I think of Hunger Games mostly when I think of cornucopias. Oh. I think of like the first Thanksgiving. Isn't the story they shared, the Native Americans shared their corn with the pilgrims and they all sit down and they have a cornucopia? I think that's the tale. But I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know how. They welcomed them. They probably did welcome them. And then they were like, OK, we're actually taking over this land now or something like that. That's what you get for being nice. Here's some smallpox for your nerve. Like, Jesus. Yeah, you're right. Actually, that's a little dubious. That's why I don't really like Thanksgiving. But I do like Horror Nights. And I was thinking about going this year because they have the new necklaces. Have you seen? Yes. The light up necklace. That says, don't scare me. Yes. What I love, also like don't love, because I'm like, why are you doing this, is when people get it to see, then they film the actors respecting the boundaries, but then they're like, one was nice. One was like, oh, this is so cool. Like, no one's scaring me. They're giving thumbs up. The other girl has it. And her boyfriend's filming. I think I saw the same one. And she's like. Yes. And then she's like, oh, they're not even coming up to me. That's so weird. Like, they're just, I'm like, what do you mean? You got the big ass flashing necklace on. Yeah. Like, of course. That's like, don't. And she's like, wow, this is like, yeah, yeah. And she was taunting them. And I was just like, OK, that's just like annoying. And the other girl just had it. And they were still just like, OK, peace, whatever. Which is kind of, feels powerful to go there and be like, I have this. You can't touch me. Yeah. You're the talisman or whatever the hell. You don't scare me. Yeah. What is it called? The talisman? I don't know. To me, that's good branding. If it was like a talisman, because then you feel like. Like, ooh, and the power. What's a talisman? It's like you have the, it has like magical powers or whatever. Joey Graceffa would love it. That seems like something he would love. Oh, that's so Joey Graceffa Nachos. Oh, right. Like, I have the talisman. Very Escape the Night. Yeah. I think a talisman was in Escape the Night. Was it? I'm pretty sure. Just some bullshit to be like, you can't touch me, I'm invisible. I kind of love that, though. I would go, because I, you do want to be, because the argument in the comments was just like, why would you even go if you don't want to be scared? But it's like, you want to be part of it. You want to be part of it. You still get the ambiance. Yeah. I wonder if it works in the mazes, too. Ooh, that's a good question. But how do they know? I was wondering that, too. Well, it's so dark in there that they would have to see this big light up. But a lot of times they jump scare, so I don't think, what, are they scaring them? Oh, shit, sorry. But they see. Yeah. If they jump scare you, it means they see you, they watch you. No, but sometimes if it's just coming around a corner, they know people are coming around, so they just jump out, and then they jump out and see, oh, shit, that person has a thing. Because they don't see you before, right? Are you going to go this year, then? Are you going to get one, too? A non-scare? I don't get scared anyway, so I can be without it. Actually, I would love to. Have you ever gotten one of those? Probably not. I can't actually picture you at that. I can't even picture Moses' reaction to scare actors. Patreon. I just have zero reaction. That would be a fierce one. Or I just punch. Okay, well. I don't know if they'll invite us after you say that. No, no, I'm not. I'm saying, like, if somebody gets my reaction, it means, like, I'm just, I'm activated, you know? That's it. For me, that's an activation. Okay, well, maybe not, then. They need one from you. Yeah, I couldn't even picture you at a Horror Nights because you don't get into things in general. Like, he doesn't get excited for things. I don't pretend. Yeah, like Disneyland. You're not like, ooh. You can Orifarm at Horror Nights. I love Disneyland. Orifarm. Yeah, Orifarm at Horror Nights. Bring that outfit that you just had on. That's a good one. Anyway, I love Disneyland. But you don't get excited, like, when we're about to go into Mickey's house and, like, see the cake in the oven and. Well, it's different, you know? First of all, I'm on duty. Like, I'm so focused on the kids and every little step they make. But Minnie Mouse has you on duty because we're the only ones in there. But I do. If you look at my photos, you'll see that I'm excited because I'm, like, taking 100,000 photos and videos and every little step they do. So you feel like you just don't show it. If you hear me in the background, if you hear me in the video, they're like, oh, she's hugging him. She's holding his hand. Like, I'm excited that way. I get that. But that's real. That's the kids. But if I'm going to Horror Nights, I'd be, like, kind of. I get excited. You don't want to see Nikki from Obsession walking around. I wouldn't recognize her. No woman. I mean, a bloody woman walking around. That is true. How? Because I haven't seen anyone. I've never seen the movies. I don't know. Well, you know what she looks like. No, I have no idea. You don't know who Indy Navarrete is. We're talking about her 5,000 times. But I don't see the B-roll here. I think I've worn her T-shirt of her as well. It's not like Jimmy is here showing me a picture, like, this is what she's talking about. Well, she was. Anyways. I haven't seen any clips of her at Horror Nights. I have either. And they invented a little game, like a mini game or something, where, like, if you go up to her and you say the code word of the day, you get, like, a one-wish willow or something. Like, a real one. How do you get the code? It's on their Instagram story. They're going to say what the code is for the day. Are you going to look when you go? Oh, 100%. I know it's controversial. I think people are doing a little too much. Wait, why? Because people are so protective of the character. And then also there's people who said, oh, I think Nikki will be a popular costume this year. And everyone's like, wow. Like, you're going to. You're going to cosplay as, like, a victim? And I'm like, okay. But, like, Freddy Fazbear literally, like, is possessed children. Like, it's children who have been killed and, like, are now possessed of, like, an animatronic. But, like, we all love. It's nice to meet you, animatronic. Like, we all love. Yes. That is true with any horror. Yeah. We can just agree it's all demonic. And it's all, like, not. It's all fiction. Like, she's not a real, like, actual victim. Yeah. I think people got to, like, just. I know. Just. And I think. I think Indy Navarrete has, like, said that, like, she really. Before Obsessor became a huge phenomenon, she was like, I would love to see it at Horror Nights as well. So, like. Oh. She wants it. Curry Barker, the creator, also approved it and thought it would be really cool as well. Yeah. And, like, she's honored. Horror movie is. Everyone's a victim. Like, right? That part. They have. They have a Sinners one, too, right? They have a Sinners. Yeah, Sinners. So, it's like, you see everything, you know? Yeah, yeah. I understand being precious about it. But also, you got to, like, I think, let go a little bit. You got to be immersed in their movie, yeah. If it was, like, a real. Like, if you're doing, like, a real life. I don't even want to name the ones, but I think you can imagine where my head goes. Where, like, if you're doing a real, live, current true crime case as a costume. Oh, yes, yes. I think that's a whole different can of worms. But, like, a movie. Yeah, you don't need to go as Pastor Dave. Yeah, period. But we can still do Peter Pan and Tony. That's a. Could be true crime, depending on how you look at it, but. They should be at Horror Nights. That's the Disneyland version. The trick-or-treat one is Peter Pan and Tony. Aw, I hope she's okay. I know my queen. Yeah. It looks like she's still keeping it moving. Yeah, she doesn't care. Yeah, as she should. What else happened? Or we just go to hot topics? Yeah, I think so, right? Yeah. Like, we really got. You got to move it. Well, the hot topic I know we were both very into was the Harry Jowsey, I Want to Marry Harry reunion on Netflix. So much happened. I went into such a true crime and be dead that I forgot about Harry. That's the truest crime of all. That's the biggest crime right now. This actually pissed me off. Oh, yeah, I was sending you stuff. It pissed me off so much. I, like, actually am like, how is this a real person? How is this a real thing? Like, pissed me off. It is crazy because, I mean, the show, the reality show ended with a wedding and it was all speculation, is it real, is it not? Harry Jowsey was doing interviews, like, you got to stay tuned for the reunion. After the reunion, you will know if it was real or whatever. And then, finally, the reunion happens and it seemed like just a shit show. Like, everyone's kind of yelling at each other. Amber, who was the winner, confronted Harry Jowsey and just, like, went off on him. I'm going to speculate and say maybe she had some liquid courage or something because she was, like, just cussing a lot and very bold and impassioned. But, like, I can't really blame her for that, to be honest. True, true, yes. No judgment. Would have been better, maybe. Like, she would have had more power. It would have been way more powerful if she was, like, fully, like, in control and eloquent and, like, could argue for herself. Because people, basically, her big thing was, like, you know, he connected with her over they both have a parent who passed away. So that was, like, a big emotional connection for them. And she felt like that was just manipulation in order for them, for her to, like, marry him, basically. That was, like, one of the big points. Which then he went on his story to be like, it's fine if you want to talk about me, if you want to talk about this, but I will not stand for people to talk about my father. It's like, no, she was telling you she felt manipulated. I hate when people turn it around and be like, "Oh, like, I will not let people talk about my dad that way." It's like, what do you mean, you brought it up and she felt manipulated by that because you married her, because you guys bonded over that, you had sex, all this stuff like that, and you got married. Then you were on the honeymoon and you found your new girlfriend. Like, she has every reason to feel that that was a little manipulative. And you brought it up, too. And it wasn't like she just brought it up out of nowhere and threw it in your face. It was like she felt really betrayed by that, which I would probably, too. - Me, too. And at the wedding, also, in the season finale, in the wedding, he makes a point to, like, bring out his dad's glasses. And that's why I took it as, like, when I heard about this, I was like, "Oh, it must be at least somewhat real if he is, like, really taking out his father's glasses that he left them." Because I know that that really affected Harry and that, like, really traumatized him. - Yeah. - So I'm like, "Oh, if he's talking about this, if he's using this in the show, it must be real." And then at the honeymoon, he's hooking up with another influencer. - I know, I know. It's just, like, that's the thing is, like, but we're all manipulated by it. That's why I actually, like, can't stand him because it's like, he does try to come across as authentic as, you know, like, "I'm here for the right reasons. I do want to get married." And it's like, obviously, you don't. Obviously, you don't because if you had any respect for any of those women, it's including Amber, it's like you would tell her, like, this isn't working out. Instead of, like, going to flirt with, he was with Anna Paul on the honeymoon. He met his new girlfriend on the honeymoon. Like, you are just such a piece of because you don't respect any of them. At least just have the common decency to be like, "Hey, like, it's not working out." Like, whatever. You're just, meanwhile, flirting, cheating, all this other stuff with people. It's just so, he's just so, and then so manipulative. And then when he's like, "I'm not gonna allow people to talk about using my dad," it's like, you were. You brought him up multiple times and it's, people have to feel some type of way that you weren't sincere about any of this. So, of course, they're gonna question sincerity on that. It was actually so frustrating to watch. - 'Cause if he only cares about good TV or, like, making drama and rating, then he can't now stop people from talking about the same stuff. - I know! 'Cause if all he did was just for the TV, the show of it. - And the reunion, too, where he's just like, laughing and smiling and being smug. Like, when she threw the ring at him and he's like, laughing and stuff. And I get, it could be out of nervousness, but the whole reunion, he was like that. He was just smiling and being smug. And I'm just like, I. Back to the, it should be called "I hate Harry," not "I'm married." 'Cause it's just like, he's constantly the worst. Francesca, like, every single person we know that's dated him, that's known him, like, he's consistently the worst and shows to be the worst. And now he's like, "I found the one." The one good thing about this is I found the one when I was on my honeymoon. - That's what, I'm like, how many opportunities does he get to be on a reality show and play with women's emotions to a point where it's like, okay, maybe no more? Like, "Dancing with the Stars," not even a dating show, he also manages to do that and manipulate a girl there, too. Like, how come every reality show- - 19-year-old, yeah. - Yes. - 18 maybe. - Every reality show he goes on, he gets to play with women's emotions and then still keep the label of like, oh, like, I'm just a bachelor. Like, I'm ready to settle down. I'm ready to get another chance. Like, he still has a demo that's a lot of girls. - Yeah. - Which is crazy. - Like, how can you play- - Crazy, yeah. - How can you play in girls' face over and over and over again, but then still have a demo of all girls? Like, you're kind of- sick he's he's sick he's disgusting also girls what are we doing because this is what happens with like killers you know what i mean like the ones that like murder their wives and go to prison and they're just like it's the same thing and then women write to them like i love you and you're like what do you mean this is the exact same thing we're seeing it we're seeing the killer of hearts you know what i mean like he's literally just like he's like killing confidence he's killing like he's just he's he's just as bad i feel like he should be locked up because it's just like what do you mean like you said you keep doing this and you keep and knowing and knowing you're not ready and he keeps saying it now this new girl this poor new girl he's like this is the one it's like you you didn't meet the one while you're married to someone else on the honeymoon that's not your person that's not your match like that's that girl should be like who's this side eye harry he should just not be on i'm sorry he's also not entertaining i saw someone be like well he's like oh you know who chimed in you know who chimed in and i thought it was so interesting it was rosie o'donnell chimed in on this oh did you see her no but worse she's talking about she was like guys i don't really keep up on she doesn't know how she's supposed to i don't know what podcasts are i don't know how they work like i don't even know how to access pocket she was but she watched the mary harry and she was he is charming she's like he's a charming i don't even think he's charming i think there's zero charm i think there's no charm i've never found him attractive i never found him charming like i don't understand any of this appeal at all but on top of it you're also like a really person like i just don't get it and on top of that did you watch the reunion you see clips of this he he's wearing glasses so i was like maybe trying to look smarter or be like oh poor me i'm in glasses sponsored by meta glasses paid partnership sponsored by meta the most dubious of it all so you're just here in glasses that can film these women in times of crisis in times of vulnerability on it yeah you're just you're smirking meanwhile filming all this with your meta glasses i was just like i i never wanted to just i know shake somebody i know and i was willing to give him the doubt a couple months ago because i'm like damn everyone says that he is a nice guy like tana said he was nice jake sheen i'm like okay everyone says he's nice jane too yes jake sanders like i actually think harry jazz is a really great guy i'm like okay maybe it's just me and then after and i was willing to give him a chance there was a time i was like he should come on the podcast we should discuss it yeah i was like i was ready to open the door for him i was like okay like maybe there's something i'm not seeing because there's a big difference some people like that they can charm you that's their thing it's kind of like a bill clinton thing he would charm any person he will make you feel like you're a star he'll make you feel something in the moment with him so i think he does that you know he makes jake shane feel good tana feel good but when it comes to real personal life no we see it things yeah it's a totally different thing when he's like oh tiana why does trish hate me this is why yeah i don't know why she hates me okay we're laying it out for you right now jimmy let's clock it from the beginning what we were talking about because i forgot about the nc with stars we brought up like i forget there's so many awful things and it's like yes i i'm with you like you want to get people about it and you want to be okay oh my god they did change like that but you keep seeing you change just to be manipulative and just to get like your own show and also like that's like you're not he's also grown he's 28 right he's not like a child so it's like it's not like you're a 21 year old like whatever it's like you're also grown too grown for this you've been on so many like you said the all your dating shows you've been just slime and it's like it's not cute anymore it's not cute and it's not you can't be a boy at 28 like you just can't like you it's like time to grow up and i mean i blame people giving them these shows i guess don't make me switch up don't make me jump up we are i'm on the losing side with the alex cooper v alex earl but you know what i was going down with the ship and now this has me being like damn do i jump all together because it really was like now you're playing in my face you're playing like okay now it's too much it's too much they really did push it and this person does just like manipulate use embarrassment so many opportunities over and over and over again i'm like we gotta at this point either change or or pack it up like it's too much you can't get this show i thought the show was like an opportunity for like a rebrand but instead it's like the same old yeah because then on the honeymoon he said that his honeymoon was to his parents like far or his mom's farm in brisbane in australia and he didn't consider that a honeymoon amber the girl that he married in air quotes considered it the honeymoon he's like well it wasn't the official honeymoon so what yeah you weren't taking an official exactly and then days after the honeymoon he also hooked up with the runner-up of uh who wants to marry harry amber or danielle the no what yeah yeah so he yeah yeah and harry's like yeah it's kind of a tight timeline well well yes but he's he justified it but like well we were dating i was dating both of them at the same time so it wasn't that bad but after they got married after yes they got married they broke up and then he uh flew danelle out and then they had sex and then they didn't work out either and then now he's with his current girlfriend who he met on the honeymoon that he doesn't consider honey but he doesn't consider honeymoon yeah trash trash absolute trash and garbage and these women too what are we doing what are we doing like he said no to you in your wedding dress in front of your friend's family and then you fly out to go have sex with them oh my god i get it girls i get it i've been there but like i just psa'd all girls what are we doing if you're in a wedding dress and you're in front of your family and he's like you're not the one don't go fly out and have sex with him a week later oh my god awful i know i wish amber haley bailey was hosting random for this that's a whole other hot stuff that was a whole other one i was like and i love haley bailey but haley bailey was being a little pick me in this one because it's just like ah she just kept being like we have to let harry talk it's like which everyone was in agreeance harry should have talked more because it would have just like you know yeah once he opens his mouth nothing comes that's just that's what's going on between that's just like air it's just like hot air would have come out like nothing just he would have yeah and he kept saying no let them talk they have such a say because he knew he knew he would have sounded like dumb and because someone because amber talked over over and over she did look a little more unhinged i suppose but he would have dug himself and he's he does now we see him on social media his recaps as well it's like you're so dumb and so vapid and i don't want to see is this podcast still going remember he had one called like it sure is still going like who's who's going on the harry johnson material who's going on that weirdly a lot of people like katya bob the drag queen i'm like what i don't get it i don't it i don't i i mean we're the odd ones out i think it's just too damn it's too easy to be like a white attractive to some over six foot over six foot like australian man and like be kind of woke where you're like yeah i don't mind gay people and then all of a sudden it's like yes like no we're gonna raise the ball a little bit like we need to raise the bar like you can't just like be a white straight guy who's attractive and just like like gay people for us to like rally around you like we need to be more strict i know i think you're gonna have to hold it down because no one else is me and the daisy chain like i especially post-daisy chain fields like i'm riding the feminist way i'm like lady like we got to really raise the bar we do we have to although i fear i might see one boy from material next week oscar's like they asked me i'm going on you might you might cave i feel like you might i'm not gonna go on the record and say i wouldn't cave but i would say as of right now in this exact moment i would not but who knows i can go on record and say never ever ever will i go on harry jose's podcast or anything even at the end well i was like and you know tana's friends them so i'm you know you don't want to be a but i just i couldn't say it because there's just some ick that you just can't get over and it's like i didn't even know at that point and because sometimes again you forget because we like it doesn't stay in my brain why i hate harry jose but it was something that even in person i couldn't bring myself to the point where i just wanted to be like hey you know what i mean because i don't know you just you just know and you guys know i have a pretty good evil energy when it comes to dubious men influencers so there's i wouldn't say evil i would just say more rotten he's more rotten he gives a stench more than evil pits of hell but um i was pissed i'm so pissed i don't know i mean no one watched i guess that's a good thing the reunion watched it was like when i checked by netflix like the top 10 although granted i they're really don't they control the data so i don't know oh okay but i'm whatever it was in the top 10 it was like number six and the overall tv not even just reality tv it was like over the overall chart which was very losing losing i know that's what i said i was like i imagined it to like be very niche but i'm like damn number six yeah i will never get it and if i am the last person on earth what is it if he has no haters i'm dead yeah very that yeah maybe i don't know just us here for now until you're getting invited on then then you don't know i come back with like a shirt like a harry johnson shirt oh it's just like god when someone consistently shows you like you said like if that was james charles doing that with a bunch of men you know what i mean everyone would be like he's the word i mean he doesn't even do all that and it's still worth so i don't know who's worse harry jowsey or james charles oh my god i think it would have to be james charles for the legality of it all but um harry jowsey is also yeah is also quite dubious i don't get it that pissed me off that whole reunion pissed me off so much i was like what is happening i would have loved to host the reunion i would have had some things to say you know what i mean you really got to get in there you can't feel sorry for harry in this situation all these women going biased like what i know it's like no these women hate him for a reason let them speak their piece and kind of help guide them you don't have to let harry speak at all yeah you can't have a friend of harry i would assume i assume he's kind of friends with every popular tiktok girl right there's always a collab yeah not with me the other tiktok drama that i got really invested into i don't know if this considered true crime enough but it's the florida amazon driver that accidentally stole a four dollar cake i was just talking about that this morning too i was so invested that's true crime too i was like what the hell is happening i was so sad it was amazon driver eps it was an amazon driver Yeah. They already have it. Amazon deliveries come at, like, midnight here. Like, they come at all hours of the day. Around the clock, yeah. 3 a.m. Oh, you want your package before 7 a.m.? They're droning packages now. Someone got a drone package in their pool. Like, Amazon is 24-7 around the clock. Okay, so this was the Amazon driver in Florida. And the Amazon driver in Florida, yeah, he was making a delivery. And on the porch of the house where he was making a delivery, there was, like, a pink cart that said in big text, Treat Yourself. And it was a bakery that has, like, a little cart on their porch. And then, so in the big text, it's pink. It says Treat Yourself. And then inside, there's different cake pops. So he assumed, like, oh, you know, sometimes there's people who leave out, like, refreshments or snacks for their delivery drivers. Everybody. Especially in the summer. Cover. Key and Lolly. I've been seeing so many people stock their little delivery guys. Like, everyone does it. Yeah. So he just assumed it was one of those situations. So he treated himself, as anyone would, as the sign said, to a cake pop. Yeah. And then the owner of the bakery posted the ring camera footage to, like, their Facebook page and basically exposed him. Be like, does anyone know this person? Because he stole a cake pop. He took a cake pop without paying. $4 cake pop. A $4 cake pop. And then I went back to look at what the cart said. Because I also just saw Treat Yourself. And then in the corner, there's, like, a little QR code. And then, so in the Facebook post, it said, you're supposed to scan. the QR code to see the menu and the prices. Girl, what? So have it behind your locked door, girl. Like, what do you mean? Like, why are you having it out to say Treat Yourself, take one? Like, who? Just running a bakery from your porch. Do we have a business license? Do we have a food? Also, in the video, you see him take one. And then he kind of looks at the camera and kind of cheers it. Yeah, like, thanks. Thanks for this. Like, it's not like he was, like, trying to hide doing. He was, like, literally, like, thank you and ran off. And it's like. A heat wave. Hot as. Like, it's like, did you have to blast him? Like, you call him a thief. Yeah. Was he? Like you said, he said, thank you for this. Like, a common mistake anyone would make. You should say, hey, support small business, $4 cake pops. Like, here's my Zelle. I don't know. Also, I don't think you should be running a business out of your porch. I don't know if that's Better Business Bureau. Like, it's like, what do you mean? Like, you should have, like, a little lemonade stand or something with, like, prices. You can't imagine Halloween over there. I know. Trick or treating. Yeah. Dollar per snicker. They'd be, like, looking at you through all the cameras. People are getting a little too happy with the ring camera footage posting it. It's like, oh, okay. It's like, this guy just got, like, docked for literally no reason. Yeah. And it's Homemade Haven Porch Bakery is the name of the bakery. So, yeah, they posted the ring camera footage. The Amazon driver ended up seeing it and was like, hey, I am so sorry. This was a big mis- I misunderstood the sign. Yeah. Like, we will pay you. So, they actually, him and his wife, who were also just concerned that, like, this would go viral and he would lose his job because they have four kids. So, they're like, you know, we really need this for our four kids. Like, I apologize. They paid $5 for the $4 cake pop. Oh, my God. Oh, my gosh. And then the owner of the bakery responded by refunding $1. So, just being, like, petty. So, they refunded the $1 back to the person. It was like, we don't overcharge here. And then- Oh, my God. And then people were like, okay, well, maybe you can issue an apology because this was a big misunderstanding. And then the husband of- who runs- also runs the bake shop was like, why would I apologize for someone who stole from me? And, like, that's not my mistake. Like, so, have an opportunity to just, like, you know, let's- let it all go. Realize it was a big misunderstanding. Have a little empathy. Oh, my gosh. But then shut that down. And it was like, no, I'm not going to apologize. Awful people. Yeah. Florida, I'm trying to have your back. But, damn, this is what happens down there. These are the shenanigans. So, what happened? Is the guy okay? He didn't lose his job. No, he didn't lose his job. He ended up making his own TikTok account to, like, highlight small businesses in the Florida area. And he was really nice, too, because even when he apologized and zelled the $5, he was like, please, like, don't give them any hate. Like, they're just a small business. Before the husband was evil, he was like, you know, they're a small business. Don't give her any hate. Like, it's just a big misunderstanding. So, the fact that he even said that, apologized, took accountability, paid, and they still played it in his face after is, like, just diabolical to me. But once again, the husband stepping in. Okay. It's like when Hilary Duff's husband stepped in, remember, and said something. It's like, can we just leave it to the Haven Baker and this guy? It's like, why are you stepping in? Because they're always saying something dubious. Not my husband, because I'm the dubious one. I'll be saying something stupid. But you most husbands will be the ones to not help this. Beat the heat. Perfect lunch combo. That first bite of your favorite sub, followed by ice cold Pepsi. Add a couple of friends, and now that's next level. Suddenly, the laughs get louder, the stories keep flowing, and the food tastes better. Food deserves Pepsi. Situation at all. I should have just like, okay, that's it. You did something dumb. Like, let it go. Well, I hope he gets all the cake pops. If I could bake, I would send him some. I know, T. Yeah, he's getting a lot of followers now, and people are being very sweet, offering like treats and stuff. There was also, allegedly, because I couldn't find the receipt to this. I know sometimes TikTok can really lead you astray with the hate trains. But they even said that like, the bake shop, to even prove their point more, like went in to find his criminal record and posted it. And then. What? Yeah. And then deleted the post. And then, allegedly, Wes, who is the Amazon driver, said like, yes, this happened. It happened in a TikTok comment. I couldn't find the actual response, though. So, that's alleged. But they're like, literally just trying to destroy his life. That sounds about right. Yeah. It's like, what do you mean you're posting that? It's like, you made the mistake. This person has like, an honest job working these like, hot hours. You're being the scammers. Being like, here, treat yourself to a $4 cake pop. It better be some magic in there. It's just like, what? I hate people sometimes. I hate the internet sometimes. Like, that's so. Well, they better take those cake pops off the stand. It's like, those. I don't want anyone to. Like, that's. Yeah, see. The last. I saw, like, the last update was they were going to be investigated, too. Because about. Like, what you said. Yeah. About the legality of running a bake shop on your porch. Because there's a big. Like, there's. There's like, a Florida law about like, running a business like that on your porch. There would be a Florida law about that. No businesses on your porch. Ugh, so weird. I do love. I do love the little stations people do. Kian just did one. He had like, a big Yeti cooler out there. And he stocked it with like, ice. And the ice. And the ice stayed for like, ten hours straight in this heat wave this past weekend. And he like, put all the little drinks in there. I know. It's really. It is nice. We would do it. I guess we could do it. It's. Ours is kind of going to hill. We should. We have. We have a lot of packages, too. We should do it. I'm so bad at setting things up like that. Like, to make them look cute. I would just throw out like, you know, the box at Costco. Be like, here. But. I think they would appreciate that, too. Yeah. I think I need. Because it is so hot. That's true. I have a little snack left. Did you hear there's a hurricane that's supposed to come this weekend? A hurricane? Bring out the poncho. Every month. Should we all be up? This is just Trish. Yes. I'm like, we had a. We were supposed to have a hurricane here a couple years ago. And you made a TikTok after. So a hashtag surviving the hurricane. I'll get them out. I'll break out the turquoise one for you. When is it happening? That's kind of scary. I think Sunday and Monday as of right now. Are we going to be doing the podcast next week? Oh, my gosh. No, I'm scared. Yeah. You didn't drive here. You didn't drive here during the hurricane last time. I know. And then I thought about that, too. We're like, should we even be here? Because I remember that day. It was like. It was crazy because we'd never have hurricanes here. And all of a sudden, everyone was talking about this big hurricane that was going to hit L.A. And it was really windy. And there was like a lot of trees in the streets. I remember that. And then we got here. I'm like, should we be doing this right now? Isaiah's taking pictures of me outside. And it's like, what is it? I guess we were really new to the podcast. It was only like a month in. Yeah. So we're like, we got to do it. That's scary. Oh, my gosh. I know. Because it's happening for real. Or is it just a rumor? It's being monitored right now because El Nino hit Southern California this week, which is crazy because it's been 110 and now it's going to get cool. And then in the offshore, it's supposed to, you know, it's like heat meets cold. And then that causes, you know, the hurricane and stuff. So that's all supposed to happen like this week. It's supposed to rain a lot this weekend randomly. But I think it's because of those extreme changes in temperature. So what do we do? We go hunker down. They said it's going to be a lot. They said it could be a lot of flooding. This room is the safest room in this house. Okay. So get here Monday. Then what happens after? I don't know. We don't know. That's true. We used to do a bunch of pager on that day. Just stock it up. That's scary. Oh, my gosh. Well, also, I guess good, though, because it's been hot. It's been. I know. We need some rain for sure. But I mean, stay safe, everybody. Yeah, that's wild. I know. Did you just hear that now? Was that like breaking news? I saw it this morning, actually. Yeah. So we'll see. I thought you just got like a ticker notification. Oh, no. A little like an Apple News alert. Yeah. I was like, oh, my gosh. That sounds so scary. Well, I saw a TikTok about it. I'm like, how serious could this be? And then I looked into it. I'm like, oh, it actually is a little serious. But, you know. I know. We never know how serious things are until it happens. I know. That was kind of like 9-11. Like you said. Do you know what I mean? Because like all the documentaries. I think that was serious from the get-go. No, but no one did know. You even see like Howard Stern be like, oh, my God. Like, I think people didn't know. Just the first second, they were like, you know. They thought it was an accident. The smaller plane hit. They thought it was a smaller plane hit. But I thought in the second plane hit, we're like, oh, this was a real purposeful. I remember people in our school were just like. I don't know they just like whoa that's so cool you know like they were just like watching that's crazy that's so cool like they would I don't think people knew but um but I was just watching you know the documentaries a lot of September 11 documentaries are coming out I guess it's 25 years since it happened whoa that's true and now we're in September so I guess all the all the documentaries are coming out but it's like how many documentaries I guess there's a lot I guess there's a lot I guess I know when we were having Malibu I was just like please don't let it be on September 11th because like what a crazy birthday yeah to have it's like oh you're celebrating a birthday on 9-11 I know I think about that a lot too and there's I think there's a k-pop group releasing an album on 9-11 oh well that's probably I mean it is just yeah it is I guess yeah a date you know we should take the power probably not born when it happened very true actually which is crazy a lot of people are was it Jake's chain on adults yes there's a clip from adults was like oh we were 25 so like were you alive during 9-11 and I'm like damn was he alive during 9-11 I think how old is Jake's chain he's another one that like looks young but then it's like are you 26 he was born in 99 so yeah he was alive he was born in 99 yeah but it was 25 years ago well he turns 27 in October oh so he's older god I would say he was young too god I was thinking about like 21 I know I thought Jake's chain was was like 24 25 actually but yeah so he was alive but does not yeah you were alive how old were you I was in first grade I think you remember yes very vividly weirdly it was impactful yeah very vividly yeah because I remember I was like really anxious obviously again the agoraphobia and you know everything so I was really anxious and thought that like a plane would hit our house I know it's crazy but and I thought there was like ash falling on our house from New York which also makes no sense logistically but to calm me down my parents got me my favorite Chinese food from and I still like I drove past it the other day because it's like in the same parking lot as my bank and I told Darian I was like oh this used to be the Chinese buffet that my parents got me on 9-11 and I was like oh my god I was like oh my god I was like oh this is like the Chinese buffet that my parents got me on 9-11 to calm me down I had to calm me down food too because mine was more like I could die tomorrow I might as well eat this food you know because I was going to be skinny and stop eating and I was just like well if 9-11 were happy and I didn't eat this food like you know what I mean you're just like you might as well eat it because who knows you know and it's like yeah it was the same way ours was Imperial Palace in Freeport that was our Chinese restaurant and same thing it was it was very nostalgic to eat it food does calm me down sometimes well anyways check out all the documentaries I'm on my documentary I do like documentaries lately I have been I watched the clips on my channel on on TikTok but they're they're the full series it'll be like part one part two like it'll have the full details of everything like a Netflix subscription right so you could also just like open the app do we have Netflix I think so we do of course we do have a Netflix it's got expensive I don't know it's like the automatic card thing yes I could but why do I not do that oh because the kids are always watching I think it's just on your phone yeah the kids control the TV they literally hold the remote we watch Ellie every day Ellie can you put Ellie on I was like oh my gosh okay um that'd be a crazy thing to put on during dinner just like let's watch a Netflix documentary it's all scary uh no mine was it's called I had the name Death of a Pastor's Wife did you watch it no you asked me that at the beginning oh yeah I'm telling you today is one of those days where I'm just like um okay so he's still around talk about villain talk about horror talk about scary the pastor there's a pastor in I think it's Indiana but he kind of moves around they move around now because obviously this is like a pattern but like there's like a pastor of this like mega church it's called Solid Rock Church and um he was married with five kids then Micah Miller his name is J.P. Miller then his second wife Micah Miller he met when she was 13 at his church she was part of the congregation 18 he married her to someone else but he like officiated it um then obviously they divorced or whatever she marries the pastor she's visibly like gone she's telling people like he's whatever she opens up that he's kind of the worst he's he has sex with her four times four to five times a day if she doesn't have sex with him he like gets unhoused men to like ejaculate on her he's just it's like this crazy crazy thing so then um it was you know there's another member of the congregation that comes around and another woman her name's Susie Susie's married to a man who is in a wheelchair and that man ends up dying he's like found in a pool and he's basically like oh it was an accident whatever okay so that guy dies J.P. Miller officiates his funeral and is basically just like well this should give us he's a he's a he's an inspiration though because look at his smoking hot wife back there like a man in a wheelchair got that smoking hot wife like at his funeral basically so then Micah and him are still together the second wife now Micah what the thing she calls 9-1-1 but even everyone hears a 9-1-1 call and they're like is this AI like who calls 9-1-1 but she's like I want I just basically want my family to know where I'm at because I'm about to like take my own life and I want them to just know where I'm at so she like it makes it seem like she kills herself and then he does like a whole thing the next day at church he's cracking jokes he's being like oh I'm so good looking and at the very end talks about how Micah took her own life and um how she was distraught and all stuff like that then he marries Susie like a year later they're married now and this church is still going this church is still going and obviously in the wake of like Lindsay Clancy and all this stuff like that like people are very much just like did she really take her own life it is so crazy and so twisted and people talk about pick me the girls at his church all girls they're like middle-aged women at the church are just like defending him and being like oh he like told me this but he said it was a one-time thing and he felt the shock he still has a church he still has a church sorry there's a cop right there there's still there's he still has a church he's still married to Susie both their spouses are dead like it's so crazy and this man is just out this was one of the craziest things I've ever seen and I feel like I've seen like a lot of I'm not gone the true crime route but I'm like and people are just and and then that's it but then but they did make this documentary but the thing is like no one can get him I don't know there's no evidence of him the husband that passed away in the pool like there's no evidence but who was first on the crime scene when that guy when the guy died at the pool J.P. Miller not the cops not anything well it's kind of giving the Lindsay Clancy case in the sense of like small-town corruption where it's like the police the sister of the guy who died in the pool was like we weren't even called like J.P. was there first like why wouldn't the cops have called like us first and stuff like that so weird all happened in the church groomed her all the stuff and no one's saying anything I've heard it's just like brushed under the rug it's just like oh no we're like we're not gonna say anything we're gonna do it it's so freaking weird and he's still doing pastors although now they at least have to be like secretive about it because I guess they get a lot of hate or something like that but it is the most like what's going on in this world it's actually so insane I was I was shocked I was like why did Stephanie Sue not cover this like this feels like one of those big things that wasn't big until the documentary came out but I guess there's two documentaries about it I guess there's like a part two it's kind of like the girl who killed her boyfriend allegedly killed a boyfriend and or did kill did she find was found guilty the one who killed her boyfriend and the friend in the car who was driving like 100 miles an hour was she guilty yes I think so so yeah it's kind of like that where she had like they have two documentaries about it my question is is all these people do these documentaries where's the justice like where's the ending where is it like oh this guy should be in prison but he's not but we're going to just make this whole film and it's kind of like Dan Schneider it's like well we made this whole documentary but that's it they're just out there good luck to all the women yeah I feel like very rarely god I think there was I kind of think there was one where like it like it kind of reversed the ruling or made them look into it more I think it's very rare though I know what this one too because I read it I didn't watch it but I read an article that the filmmakers of it despite like obviously that angle is it kind of raises questions about like did she take her own life but they were did press for it and they're saying yeah like I do believe she killed herself which is like right but then people are like well she was driven to that because he was having homeless men ejaculate on her and making her have sex like all these four to five times a day and it's like well and basically basically like he was having the affairs and I think he made her like sign a document that he could like continue having affairs or something like that like it was something so like she knew about all this stuff you could tell and like they did videos like they did like weird skits and stuff like that and I think it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it gets together and she her eyes are just like completely drained so I don't know I mean maybe she did but was she driven to it because obviously this guy groomed her since she was 13 years old like I guess in that case the only thing you can really hope for is there's enough like societal backlash that like that is the justice system and that's when it does true I feel like with social media can go to extremes with not in this case but in some cases where it's like you want to be judge jury and executioner like you just I know this is a crazy connection but like with baby Tony for example where it's like you know you're finding her this audience is finding her guilty and then it's trying to punish her you know they're trying to do it all but this is like a good case where it's like you know someone is did something horrible and like pretty much got away with it but now if there's like a light shit on it then the public can you know their opinions matter especially when you're doing like a public service job you know the very that's what I'm saying you're like a pastor of God and you're like doing all this like who's going to that church and is the church demonic like why what solid rock happening like it's like this is why churchgoers get a bad name it's just like got like the LeBrand family being like we love God and be like well this is there you have God and this is what's happening like what are we in you know what I mean it's like they're all giving Christians a bad name and it's just like well not all of them are crazy but most of them are ninety percent maybe I don't know it's just so uh it made me mad I was so upset I was watching that what else was I watching I was watching another documentary what was the other truth the true crime oh Rosanna well that's not really true crime but she was she was scared she said that I won't I won't that's why I didn't want to text her either but I just want to make sure she was okay I literally just texted her I tweeted her if she was okay well I texted you first I was like this is kind of crazy because she was like looking for two women and I was like oh my god is she okay and truly I mean this and I won't say anything like private that she said to me or anything like that and she didn't really say anything but um I just want to make sure she was okay because I asked her if she was okay on Twitter and she said she's not and then I was like oh my gosh this is really sad um because I really do like Rosanna and I do think not to say I don't know any of this situation I saw Mr. Prada Mr. Prada Daniel Prada's comment where it was like she left a very dark situation because they were close with her I was somewhat close as well as like kids' parties I didn't know Mike that well um they seemed happy that's why it was so shocking they seemed like they were good and happy and stuff like that and his mom was nearby her mom lived with her her sister was nearby so I was like okay she has all the support then I saw a comment that said her and her sister are like estranged or something which is crazy because they were like literally neighbors and I like I befriended her sister first they were so close and I was like oh I love this so much but not again not to be like a conspiracy of it all but it was like okay I also can see how if you're with the wrong guy well back to Daniel Prada he said that she escaped a very dark situation so it's like if you're with the wrong guy it could divide a wedge between friends family all of that stuff um and she's obviously tweeted publicly again that she's feels like she's in danger and she had to do firearm training and stuff like that so I hadn't seen all that until after I had tweeted all I had saw was she was looking for two women or two people I guess Alex and Victoria and I was just like oh like I hope you're okay and then when she said I'm not I was like a little scared and then we texted but she just briefly texted she'd like had a different number and stuff and that's it but like I don't I don't know even her public stories were like she had to be at a different location and yeah um which is I don't know the whole thing is actually it actually really does um I don't know kind of makes me worried and sad and what do you do and how do you how do you I guess that's the thing right you when you're in real life with these situations like the pastor's wife it's like what do you do how do you interject without like crossing a boundary yeah especially because I don't know her that well but you also want to make sure if someone's like crying out for help on social media yeah and literally being like I'm not okay it's like well what do you do yeah I know it is such an odd situation because yeah a couple I mean it was just a couple weeks ago she randomly tweeted like I'm single and kind of talked about like this new era and obviously she just had a crazy injury where she slipped on a boat and like shattered her jaws going through this intense process and then yeah I didn't even see any of this until you told me about it and I went to go look and she just posted on Twitter and her Instagram looking for Alex and Victoria you reached out to me a while back I never properly thanked you and would like to reconnect please message me so like fairly ambiguous but she was responding to people in the comments and pretty much like alluded that either they knew her ex Mike or like were ex exes of Mike in the podcast and tried to reach out to her to warn her about something and someone in the comments suggested like hey like why don't you just go through your old messages and she said like well someone went and blocked them so I no longer can even find our our conversations so yeah very like ominous and then yeah then I saw that you tweeted I hope you're okay and she just said I'm not that was just the reply and she completed a one-week retreat for trauma she posted about that she did that with Jeannie Mai and then yeah it was a one week at a therapy retreat for trauma in Nashville and uh as a part of her healing era she also said that she took up firearm training at a shooting range and she said that it was for her safety again just like very ominous yeah um she to talk about like her relationship with her sister someone commented that like oh this it makes sense because like maybe her ex I saw that Roe isn't as close with Molly anymore it seems like her ex put a wedge between the two and Rosanna replied and said um that you are very observant so seemingly confirming that and then I don't know if it's true but I think I read somewhere in the comment section that like Molly even like you said they were neighbors but people speculate that she even moved out because they like there was real estate paper trail I showed that she sold that house that she allegedly that they lived next door and that she moved um whoa and doesn't live next to her anymore and then Rosanna also said that she had to move out of her home and live in an apartment for her safety so like she completely like relocated so it sounds like super serious I think people are also again it's hard because you don't want to like speculate she's said this herself that like because people have asked like why is she even going so public with all this stuff and again she said like I have to do this for her safety which makes sense like you're gonna be as public like if it again the worst thing you can imagine I don't even want to say it but like if yeah if it is for her safety then like the more people who know the better yeah so it makes sense as to why she would be so public about it yeah um but yeah it's like very ominous very dark people are like the context of her just having like a big accident like very random too people are like questioning that like well is that the truth is she really just like slip and fall in a boat because it is like such a traumatic injury like she still can't eat solid foods like she's still only on an all-liquid diet and it's been months it looked so intense I remember when that happened I was like this is so odd and then you know we didn't see Mike around that time and you're just like yeah again like obviously not speculate but it is just so they said you had a boat at your party you're just like you had all that happened like what kind of fault was like all it's it's it's so so weird and you just had the podcast and Mike was on it and I don't know like I just I'm I'm so shocked I was shocked by the breakup because they're just like so the family everything I'm just like all how did this all unravel so quickly and you know they weren't married so it's just like how are you gonna leave a house they have this like big house and the studio they just built it's very uh but also just like concerning I think everyone's just like you're concerned and like what like what do you do I guess I guess what do you do I don't know it's just uh I don't know I don't know it's just like everyone's it's concerning it's alarming it's alarming I think if anyone were to tweet that it's um scary and then that's when I felt maybe a little too over my head because I was like oh my God when she said I'm not and then I'm like okay well I need to reach out now I don't know I just offered support but I don't I don't know and also what can you do anyways I mean anyways the system fails so many people well it's like people report actually we don't know obviously any of this the situation but people report actual abusive people people harassing stalking and they still do nothing not to say that this is the case but wouldn't do very little yeah and again not to say that this is the case but like even like Sabrina Carpenter it's just show like literally doesn't matter like your status like as a woman like you can be biggest pops around the world but like her stalker um isn't going to be uh in prison because like because of the mental health thing so he was able to like it was like a mental health uh thing where he like isn't gonna go to jail so like her stalker is still gonna like walk free so it doesn't matter like if you are like rich and famous like it to you being just like a regular everyday woman like it's so hard to get just I mean Tana obviously we see that all the time too like it doesn't matter how much money you have how famous you are like the justice system really fails a lot of women so I mean specifically mental health it's like okay yes get them help in prison like you know like they can also go to prison because obviously they're not getting help endless summer escapes start here travel the worlds of Netflix IRL inspired by fan favorites like Stranger Things and squid game brave the upside down face off with the front man play leveled up arcade games shop exclusive merch and enjoy themed food and drinks beat the heat play eat and shop on repeat at Netflix house at Galleria Dallas bring your crew and safe get your tickets today at netflix.com slash house and if they did something where they committed a crime they're that mentally unwell like they should be locked up yeah like that's so insane and so scary yeah I don't I don't know either I all of it is very uh just shocking because Mike seems very like passive demure like he doesn't seem I don't know but I guess you just never can tell but they've been together like 15 years they've been together such a long time I think a lot of people I mean he has these ex-girlfriends but also we you know yeah again seemingly out of like left fields um but I to your point too like does that like recontextualize like you know not that she was I think she was very uh she was kind of like more scrappy like more combative I think the past like year so then yeah there was a TikToker who like questioned that too like oh like could this contextualize like why she was um more like in the mix like more in drama because she that was like her thing she was very like excited about like you know being more outspoken being like more unafraid to like be in the mix and call people out and stuff um which it's hard because you get once you do that like you really open Pandora's box you know like um so there's a TikToker who commented that I think her name is high said 56 and then that's where Daniel left the comment that said you don't know the surface of these details she is free from a very dark situation so refrain from calling another woman deranged or for finally being able to be herself and not spoken she's an incredibly strong person needs support not criticism but I would say the Tik Tok wasn't saying it wasn't like oh she's a crazy one it was more like does this explain why she was more come combat of the past yeah but I think she followed up she did a Tik Tok calling on me like I shouldn't have said it that way she's like yeah Daniel commenting on that dude just like a random tip I know it didn't have like a million views or anything it was like yeah so it was kind of nuts and they were close Daniel and um Joey were close at one point with her I don't know yeah I mean even last was it last year when he was here I forget when he was here but like him and super close for like so many years so that doesn't surprise me but at least i know it's hard because like especially i was thinking a lot too but like you from your perspective of like you know once being friends with her but then obviously like the falling out and stuff but it's not it's not like the falling out where like you wish something like you know like yeah i'm wiping my hands clean nothing to do it's more like for both of our sake i think we just need to like not you know talk or whatever anymore but obviously you still want the best for someone so even even if it was someone i can't stand i'd be concerned you know what i mean obviously i wouldn't reach out if it was someone i hated but even when it's like people i don't like if like there's someone in danger it's still concerning and alarming and obviously i do really like her and i did really like her but yeah i just texted i know we didn't end like well like on great terms but like here like support if you need i know you have i didn't know about her sister at the time i know you have support whatever and she was like really sweet back like just like she said summary was like you know love you like we'll text you soon or something like that so i think even with the from the things that we have seen here and there like i think he was more involved in the drama farming of it all because there was a moment where they were like opening up to that world and i could see in different times and places where you know because that was not her thing she's like cooking and talking being fun and and i could see so i would say it could be that some of those things were more pushed on from his side a lot to engage in those dramas because before she met him i know a lot of people were like oh i really loved like her content because she was just like bubbly and like drama free and just like cooking and baking and then a lot of people like when he came around they just stopped like watching i don't know well even like i remember again not to be like revisionist or whatever just like obviously hearing all this makes you re-contextualize in your head but i remember even her interview episode like i think that was before jimmy so i edited that one yeah and i remember mike was here but like didn't have a mic and he was doing like a lot of the talking for the mr b stuff yeah in particular because i think that was her first like foray and so like we're just like we're just like we're just like really getting into drama or you know commentary like that and he was like off camera like on mic like saying a lot of talking i had to like edit around him a lot i remember because he was he was like explaining for her um when she was talking about that and again not saying that's anything but just it makes me think about that very differently for sure well you said hindsight when you know something then you're just like yeah as people do they go through videos they go through this i'll look at the way but so yeah i remember that here and yeah it's i don't know i don't know i don't know and he hasn't said anything right correct no the problem is that the complexity of it is that you know they work together he was in control of everything control of accounts things so for her it's not just a breakup this is like your rug is being pulled under your feet like even having access to all of your accounts social accounts the work the contracts everything that you're doing yeah um and not being married it's more vague it's not like you know you go to court and you have everything laid out and you go through them so it just sounds like a very traumatic experience in that sense too not just personal life but also business and everything else career wise yeah it's wild i don't know i don't know either sister too i mean they were just all so close i mean every party they were all together like it's always all of them so it's um was there something weird though they invited people to like stay at their house remember mike couldn't come because there was like people at their house that had to do with mr beast oh i don't know yeah scary hopefully it's not like anything too extreme obviously safety can mean lots of things safety scary though i mean and i would honestly probably do the same if it was me if i felt in fear the way tanner talks about stuff it's like you kind of just want people to know you have a platform you want people to know that um you're feeling some type of way but also scary for people to follow so hopefully yeah i think just the more response is like i'm not it's like when you're publicly saying i'm not okay like then something needs to um happen but i don't know what that is because i know from firsthand people calling wellness checks on you a lot of times they'll literally just come like take you and you're just like in a facility for 72 hours and then you're let go and it doesn't help anything or anybody other than make you feel more paranoid and um i don't know i don't know but um yeah i guess i'll like just to follow up at some point just be like i don't know yeah i think it's good like a good sign at least obviously we don't know what's going on behind the scenes but just that she like posted about having a friend like jeannie my getting going to like a treatment center for a week so like there's also like documentation of her going somewhere so obviously when you're in a facility facility like that they like again of her own accord like we'll give her the resources to manage whatever comes her way so i think it's a good sign that comes her way yeah um and i think it's sucks that like again like a woman who like is outspoken about her this like breakup and what she could be dealing with like the speculation or like why are you even doing this like you're just being drama like you're dragging it or whatever which is crazy that she has to like respond to comments like that but um and again it's so hard it's hard because she's ambiguous and i understand why but like obviously like your head goes to the ground and you're like what's going on with her like what's going on with her what's going on with her like i think it's a good sign that she's outspoken about what's going on with her like i think it's a good sign that she's outspoken about what's going on with her like i think it's a good sign that she's outspoken about what's going on with her like i think it's a good sign that she's outspoken about what's going on with her like i think it's a good sign that she's outspoken about what's going on with her like i think it's a good sign that she's outspoken about what's going on with her like yeah lost her life so i hope i hope that like this also shows like girls like be outspoken about it doesn't matter if someone thinks you're crazy whatever it's better to do that than like and to have people know like what's going on with you um than to think you're dramatic because who knows who knows what the hell could happen yeah no it's better to be it's 100 better to be that way and yeah totally supporter and you know i always said like you know anything she tells me i wouldn't like repeat um but i you know i don't know i can't even say she seems okay i think it's just you know hopefully she'll be okay um genie is a good friend to have though i like genie my i know i when i saw i was surprised i didn't even see that friendship coming but like that's sweet kind of makes sense because genie my also has some crazy relationship drama with our last couple she was with that guy for 10 years her husband and then she had a baby with the new guy and that kind of ended disastrously but because she didn't want kids and he wanted kids and she had his baby and then he i don't know women supporting women that we love to see them yeah well those are do we have fun hot topics we just be like you have one yeah you were keeping this one yes okay it's a video i've never seen is it of me maybe okay even earlier today he's like i found this i found a video of you singing that part and i was like okay no but this one is i am suing my daughter trisha for stealing about four or five of my enhanced push-up bras especially the one from budapest hungary because it has silicone breast implants already in them and these have all cost me a mini fortune and that's how i made my money a mini fortune trisha are you breast enhanced or are you just my breasts are real you're real i want to hear what you have to say about this case i didn't take her bras she used to live with me and she gave them to me and she never asked for him back follow the oliver road and what i don't know my mom gave me these bras she moved out got her breast done got them enhanced so she doesn't even need them anymore i've had the bras for more than 90 days so they're technically mine now my mom wants them back i make money off my boobs 90 days is when it bras technically okay that's the homestead rule your honor thank you those bras live here you have one of them on now by the way i do i have the one from hungary on the one with the silicone thank god increases in one full cup size that's a 36 double d right now oh yeah yes you don't need that but for my work i do because the bigger the boobs the more money you make and my mom has so the bigger the tits the bigger the tips yes yes i thought that was the hot cream quote of comedy what is that i've never i've never heard of that show wait really yeah it was on like drug tv or something it was at the laugh factory i don't know i just needed money you went to laugh factory i was around the there a lot i was doing i was working there i was an assistant there i did a show for them i liked comedians that's why i have such a vendetta against the matt rice of the world because i hate male comedians including that one next to me jamie kennedy hated him back then that was jamie kennedy the other one's kevin nealon he's also from snl and then the judge is also a comedian named don marrera i don't know anything about him but dubious all of them jamie kennedy dubious still dubious he's still his takes i don't awful he's like i don't know they all i don't know they all i hate them all i hate all the comedians and um that's a random one that was in long beach at the long beach laugh factory i was sick though i'm like why are you talking like that yeah i was like trying to you're trying to use your your character voice a little knee a little congested it was giving like weird warp speed definitely all lies so um we i recently we used to lie so we lied on that show my mom and i i don't know about the bras what silicone bras did we have mom it was water from hungry when she said i spent a mini fortune on them and he's like a mini fortune that one we did that one was more light-hearted but i know also we went on which they didn't care because the show was for entertainment purposes we went on judge alex i mean my sister also um lied what did we lie embellished i guess we were on judge alex what was she suing me for hair extensions i didn't pay for the hair extensions you know what was so cool about those judge shows is they would pay the settlement so like oh so my sister was suing me for two thousand dollars for the show or for like so they pay to be on the show like five hundred dollars each and then they pay whatever the settlement is so my sister wanted two thousand dollars from me so they pay it to her was she already asking for that or did or did she just come up with that for the show like was it well it did cost a thousand dollars for hair extensions so i got hair extensions i got it and i was like yeah and so i was like he's like well did you pay her and i was like well no i don't have the money and then they're like okay well you owe her two thousand dollars to do your hair and i was like period everyone in the comments they were like they missed this era of tv i know and also they're like i wonder if at any point any of those producers realized that trisha was just like completely you know this made-up character i don't think they don't realize i still think people don't realize it my favorite thing is when you go on a different show with a different low with their job because it reminds me of rainy rodriguez on like what on austin alley i think the show is and i keep seeing these like tiktoks rainy rodriguez's character in the show like she just gets random jobs every episode she's like i'm your new taco like i'm your new taco oh my god i need to find a mashup for you because it's very trisha energy or was she an adult i don't know she was a a child on the show or like teenager on the show she was always working new jobs yes that is so funny i need to find the tiktok oh and her character name was trish that's actually really crazy i always wanted her to play me crying on the kitchen floor it's her emmy get on there for our tv series it's very trisha energy it's kind of based on you job experience her resume was like eight pages it's very trisha energy you working at a t-shirt stand you doing every oh my god was i the inspo for that that is so crazy actually oh i love her oh my god that is so funny that is me i know every who was here oh oh our guests yo we're out okay coming up next from korea my favorite influencer rachel kwan and jay har i'm so excited you guys real life k-pop idol and real life influencer and both stars in my new music video ponchak step coming up now guys rachel kwan is here hi oh my god i'm so gagged to be here it's like literally when you asked me i was like of course like this is my one life goal i need a new one now like i okay i want you but the lore of this is so crazy okay so okay we originally brought you up here on hot topics we saw the saranghae video so you posted your husband jay who is a k-pop star which i didn't know like i didn't know he was i just looked it up this morning what was the band in sonic yes i was like okay so but i remember seeing the video of jay singing saranghae and i was just like i was so gagged i was like oh my god because i was like in 24 hours you guys did such a quick turnaround and we were on vacation that's funny because like we were literally on vacation and i was like we were on vacation we were in a hotel room that's so when the song came out i was like oh my god the video came out we were watching it on the bus and we were so gagged like your pronunciation and everything i was like this song is literally so good and then he's always down to do whatever video i want i was like can you sing it that would be so fun you guys are both in the new music video so then i dm you and i was like because i don't i never know where people are in the world right like i don't know i didn't know if you lived in korea i didn't know if you lived here i didn't know where people were so i was like well maybe they live here so i was like let me see i'm like are you guys and then you're like oh no we're in korea we probably won't be there and i was like ah so then i was like okay they're not gonna be able to be in the video and they well well we can actually be there i gave you the date and it was like within two weeks i was like girl like i was like let's make it work did you come to la just for that we usually when we visit the u.s we do come to la but definitely we push the trip up we are going to visit my family after like in new orleans yeah well then you said you were gonna be here next week so then i saw you guys on friday for the music video and then you're we're here for another week and i was like do you want to come because you guys we did the video here in west lake and i was like oh my house is down the street i know it's far from where you're staying because you guys are in long beach right now because i'm dumb and booked an airbnb in long beach i thought it was like close by honestly how would you wouldn't know that's how i was like even new york i don't know any of that stuff like that okay so let's okay so you're a lord then it's so fascinating i remember we talked about it on you guys we're oomphies and how did you guys know like how did you know of each other i think we just followed each other i followed oscar first from the podcast because i'm a fan of the podcast and yeah just one day he randomly followed me back yeah i say i think you showed up in my like feature notifications and then i saw you and i was like who is this like queen like so pretty and like i loved all your because you do so many like korean skincare so i was i was seated i was taking notes mind you and then yeah then i saw when jacob was saying hey and i was like wait actually and then i told you i was like actually like she's married to a k-pop idol and then because it was like before it went viral and then hearing about your lore which i'm sure we'll get into but it's like oh my god like she's actually the most fascinating person in the world i really don't feel like it no it's like what we know on the surface level i was like oh my god you like because like one of your pin tiktoks is like i'm mary i was a secret girlfriend of a k-pop idol and i was just like you're living everyone's like fanfic right especially like right now i mean k-pop is having like this whole like resurgence and i feel like it's definitely come over here now to the u.s yeah where everyone is like very obsessed so it's like everyone's dream right everyone's posting and when i did agt and it's from like ca they were all like everyone's gagged everyone has the cards everyone's like this is like my the dream like it's the dream okay so you moved to korea 13 years ago what was your calling to korea it was honestly kind of it's like how much time do y'all have it takes a lot for someone to like leave everything they know or to like move their entire life i guess i was kind of i always tell people i was at kind of like a crossroads in my life i had like just broken up with my long-term boyfriend like super toxic and i was also graduating college at the same time and i was roommates with my twin sister and she was moving in with her boyfriend at the time and it was like girl you need to get a roommate like you need to go back with mom or something and i was like what the hell do i do you know i kind of just felt like starting over honestly oh my god but why korea because you actually we i had visited korea during college with one of my best friends she's actually still in korea as well but we went there on spring break randomly like we were going to go to paris couldn't afford it what couldn't afford it and we stayed at a guest house in seoul while i was in college and it was like so enamored by it just all of oh thank you yeah it's so hot and it's like being a fashion girl like i studied fashion in college and just being from louisiana like there's not it's just not it that's what i'm saying what a jump were you into the culture at all or like why like that's just like definitely i loved all the like makeup and skincare and it was like a different era because it was like 2012 at that time it was like a different era because it was like 2012 at that time so it wasn't like it is now at all like so i was so gagged when i went there it was just like a whole new different world exists and so after that i was like my best friend was coming to korea to teach when we graduated at the same time and i was like i'm coming with you wow and it was just gonna be for a year and we met like three months later i was gonna say well so what happened you guys i was like sworn to be single i was like i hate men like i was like that's it like stay away from me like i want to be single and we met yeah and i love your me cute story because i like heard about it but i want to know like a little more it's so cute so you were at a club yes and it was if i tell you the story y'all are gonna think i'm like lying because it sounds so fake no i want to hear it it was just one day after work i was so tired it was like a friday night so i was literally coming from work i was wearing black skinny jeans and it was like that era skinny jeans era and like an oversized sweater and yeah my friends like dragged me out to the club and at that time like work was so stressful everything was so stressful in my life like living alone for the first time just being alone so we were like every weekend drinking like so bad yeah you're like in a whole new country yeah yeah so went out to the club like and i saw him like in the corner kind of with two of his friends they were like his other members in his group and they just their fashion was so cool and i was drawn to someone with like they were just they just had aura k-pop idols do yeah and i was like who is that like wearing a black hat wearing a black mask in the club and i was like okay just trying to play it cool like just kind of looking over and then me and my friends got to talking to these like american soldier guys i don't know in the club and then they started dancing and it's like i don't even know how it happened but they got in a dance battle with jay and like wait really literally it sounds like that sounds like a movie that sounds like a disney channel rom-com that's crazy and like his dancing is so insane he was like on his hands like spinning around all this stuff and i was kind of like i was already had seen him so i was like damn who is that you know oh my god it's like a movie and he literally i was just kind of standing on the sidelines and he came up to me and like grabbed my hand and kissed it oh after like spinning around on the floor oh my god that does sound completely like that's not realistic for anyone ever ever girl and like if that happened to me now i'd be like what the you know but at the time no that's everything oh my god too i was like eating it up you know and you didn't know you didn't know how about when he revealed himself were you like oh my gosh yeah i was definitely gagged by it he said something like do you like k-pop i'm like looking at her right now and i was like yeah you told me about it i was kind of being like oh that's cool were you being like i was being loki yeah for sure you weren't like screaming inside yeah i was like wow that's really cool it's literally like those movies like the one with like anne hathaway and the guy the british guy yeah that was actually very similar watching people loved it but i was living yeah you know what i i like that i like movies like that because everybody wants to be picked you know and i got to go on stage and be like it's very cool oh my gosh so then did you guys start dating right away we were super casual it was hard because he was so busy like we could barely meet we didn't even like both speak the same language so you didn't know any korean like a little because i had just moved there wow because you you you were teaching english over there right how does that work so do you speak korean now or no yeah enough you said you did he was like he's good i gotta be like bratty and be like yes i'm like so good at korean well i would imagine if you're teaching english you probably know korean as well because you have to translate and stuff right like you have to be like this means it's like 100 english like the kids are not allowed to speak korean at all wow oh my gosh and is that just like in the general school system or it's like a special class they have to go to it's like private schools like private english kindergartens are so next level kindergarten are they like five year olds learning english they're like my class was five but that's like korean age five so they're actually like three and four i know it's confusing like oh it's a different age different age system but yeah they're like three four and fives wow i guess they probably pick it up more like our daughters oh my god there's sponges like every and you have to be careful what you say because i'd like drop something and be like oops and then now everyone's saying oops oh my god it's really cute so when did you stop teaching to be full-time influencer um it was actually covid it kind of pushed me because i was doing private tutoring at that time and then like i lost all my classes because of covid oh wow so then you just what was your pivot it was tiktok first i was like i need to do something like to make money i was like i don't know i need to like because i already had a youtube channel but i just wasn't like going hard with it i would like kept quitting it's like long story but i kept back and forth with it for so long and then during covid that's when the tiktok era started and everyone was on tiktok so i started tiktok and then i just posted all of my tiktoks to instagram reels and youtube shorts and that's what helped boost me like up and to be full-time wow and what were you what was your focus at that time were you like doing dances like tiktok dances oh my god no i wish no i'm like the opposite of him he's like professional dancer i have like we're dancing today though did you learn the dance oh i'll try i feel like i well that is true okay so we had we actually we had two k-pop idols on the set which was really cool and i won't say the other one yet but i was really excited so he also was just like i can learn the dance if you want because it's a big thing we you always told me you're like you have to do the dance so you have to learn the dance too so we can do it because last time when we did saranghae we were the only ones not doing the dance but like one pact was doing the dance and you're just like oh by the way one pact is huge we were trying to get them also and they're like just on tour right now being so like they're really big and they were doing our saranghae dance so it was like really crazy so this time i was like okay i'll try and do the dance but i hate asking people but then our other k-pop idol was like oh i'll just he learned it in five seconds cedric was showing him he had he had to catch a flight he was like i have to go on a plane like in five minutes because i want to learn this he learned it in five seconds and looked so good doing it took me two days to learn it and i was like i guess this is like the training and stuff like that because they start really young and i was like wild you can't relate i feel like but if you were at the club dancing i feel like you must have some moves i'm like looking at him smiling can i dance can she dance as a k-pop idol can she dance yeah i can't dance it's not good but okay well i've tried the tick-tock dances you know in that era everyone was doing that yeah i was just posting like just whatever serving face yeah i just yeah when did you like go public with like your story about jay because i think that's the first time i even like before i knew you and became peace with you like i remember seeing you talk about it like i remember like your story went viral before yeah it actually started with the um you remember the 2016 trend in like january everyone was posting their 2016 pictures so of course every trend i'm like okay i need to get on that i need to find my pics so i posted some 2016 pics and then my followers were like oh my god i want to see some more old pics like a lot of my followers don't even know i used to be a teacher i didn't know that they started following like me after we got married um but yeah that inspired me and then i posted like a kind of part one like oh pov you moved to korea to teach english in 2013 which is some of my old photos and like little captions yeah and then when people were loving it i was like i have like 10 more years of content like i don't even know what i'm talking about but like i'm like 10 more years of content like i have so many pictures let me do part two like i never set out to make that story it's just like when i'm going chronologically i like briefly mentioned oh that's when i met my husband and he turned out to be a k-pop idol and then just went into like some of the stuff when we were dating because at the time like i couldn't talk about it and it was like i have to just like cover my mouth because i like wanted so badly to post about it wait so what era can you not have what years could you not talk about it it was like um 14 until 2021 because your band was still going so your group was still going yeah right and you were like some kind of like in trouble like suing something yeah they had like a lawsuit after they tried to um disband it's a long story oh wow because they say even i guess yeah i guess i remember like even like cat's eye they can't talk about they have boyfriends or not you know what i think i think a lot of the groups um they can't be dating i guess i don't know i guess just to yeah i guess you can just don't let anyone find out about it i think they're all dating probably but yeah yeah yeah yeah nobody oh wow that's so interesting so you couldn't talk about it because you were still in the band they were like don't have a girlfriend because it's not good for the image i guess yeah so and then i was on like i started youtube in 2016 while i was teaching just kind of as a hobby because there were not many foreign like creators in korea making videos yeah and um all i would watch was youtube i didn't for years i was like watching like joy griceffa like wow trigger warning shane like you know i was watching you like really hey oh my god you had a cameo in my series yes what was what was the cameo what did i do what was it i was like talking about um the time long story but there was like i kind of had like a stalker situation and i was um it was a really like scary time and i was like not meeting friends just staying home all the time just trying to be like low-key i was like quitting youtube because of that because i was like it's not worth it like and i only had like probably 20 000 subscribers at the time so i was like i don't want this like this is crazy and i was posting on my series like watching mukbangs to distract myself from the fact that i have a stalker or something yeah because i was like watching your mukbang wait that's actually so oh my god that makes me emotional that's actually so cute well it's like i didn't have my family there i didn't have like that many friends so i was just always like watching youtube like oh there's my friend joey graceful i know that time of youtube that like 24 like that time was like so much more personal the way people like vlogged and stuff like that yeah you just felt like and you do know the person people like i feel like i know you and you're like well yeah because i started my entire life like of course you know it's like it's such a different thing now that people aren't like that but that is so cool yeah i do love the mukbangs that's why in all my music videos this one too i always do a little mukbang because that was my introduction to anything korean culture i remember watching the girls were on the live like in 2012 and they were eating for money on like a korean website and i thought oh my god that's so cool and i was like i want to do that too so that's when i like started over here and i thought that was like such a cool thing so that was my first for i didn't know technically taekwondo was my first for way into korean because i didn't learn to count that's why in my new song i had the hana dual set like i was like because i love i that's the only korean can we talk about this song too this song is it's been stuck in both of our heads you like did you guys like it we love it because i get did oscar hear it no i haven't heard it you haven't heard it i guess i could play should i play a little okay do that katy perry like women's world reaction or the b drop that's actually so funny okay i'll play a little bit i actually get nervous to play my music for people because i'm like i don't know i i love it but it's so catchy thank you i love their cameos are so good i want to give away your eyes as cameo but it's like really i was just like that was so fun did you see the photos i sent you there's one where i'm literally like looking at rachel i'm just funny i said i sent it to my sister and she was like babe that looks like ai it does it looked like you guys looked fake like it felt hot and the scene is so good too it felt fake i like wake up in the scene and i'm like shocked at where i'm at and i'm just like seeing both of you and you guys gave it your all you guys were giving it commitment it was i was i was so happy when i saw you guys there i was like ah and okay let me get this song hold up i feel like this is gonna be a huge hit bigger than sonic seriously that's it's hard to follow up because i don't hate like none of my music as well so when that one did well was like wow someone likes it so i was like let me just keep singing in korean because maybe this is my audience because no one cares about my songs in english so that's why i was like okay let's see if i can find it no it literally felt like my two worlds colliding i'm like my favorite like youtuber is making a k-pop song like are you kidding oh that means a lot that means like a lot because i also i do appreciate like the culture so much and like the language like learning it is was so challenging and so but it's such a beautiful language and i just love even like what is the song in k-pop human hearts that's one line of korean and i like that line you know what i mean and i'm just like oh it just sounds so nice and i just like wished more songs so i like it was really important to me to do the whole song in korean because i was just like i know i want to like learn all of it which is fun all right here it comes so it's called ponchak step translated to sparkle step oh that's some yeah so it's Ponchak is like correct me if I'm wrong it's like a it's like a twinkle like twinkle twinkle like ponchak like it's like twinkle twinkle little star yeah so I was okay here play a little bit of it I can't wait I'm so excited like very bubblegum pop yes we're bringing back the bubblegum pop like wow oh my god I'm so excited to see the dance to this because it's so like poppy so you know it yeah ton of poppy yes that's so good thank you that means a lot do you like it yes it's so good yay I'm gagging I wasn't expecting it to be so like yeah like who is that right the pronunciation fun oh my god I always I like don't even learn the lyrics to my own songs like if I go on tour I don't know like the lyrics to my own songs but these this song is like so catchy it's so good I'm like I have to know all these like perfectly and like it's my favorite it's my favorite to sing it's my favorite to perform to it's just fun you know and I I love it so much it was fun to have this one this one we put a lot more it's more storyline and it's fun I'm really excited no you were so professional even on the music video to start like pulling out your notes app and like making sure you had the exact perfect yeah i like every time i'm trying to do like better pronunciation because it's hard like korean is actually like a very hard specifically speaking korean when i try to learn like conversational korean like there's just so many different like inflections and stuff like it's just very it's very very difficult how long did you how long did you like study korean before you like were able to speak it i feel like i'm still like learning new words still sometimes i'm like trying to watch a tv show and i'm like i don't know what's going on like i have to really like lock in even when we watch like there's some reality dating show that we really love this korean one and it doesn't have subtitles and i like really lock in when i watch that because it's really fun how do you oh i see so you're like just kind of picking up based on like what you know of korean yeah and sometimes i'm like wait what did they say can you rewind it oh that's fine what's it called it's called non and solo like i'm solo is it like a love island kind of tease yeah but it's like normies oh are they like sexy though are they like hot people they're just like regular people oh interesting because like here on love island like it's just like you watch love island yes i don't really watch it but they're like young hot people right all of them are young yeah there's very few shows that have like just i wish there was more just like normal people oh it's so fun and they each season is different they'll have like one season that's like everyone's over 40 or you know everyone's like divorced wait that's so fun actually and it airs you have to watch it online or you on tv over there it's on tv and on netflix oh i wonder if it's on here because it doesn't have english subtitles so i think it's not because they have a lot of k dramas on fx like i watched the my demon so my music video was like loosely based on my demon you're making me she's trish fluencing me to watch my demon it's really good i'm the main actor on there i was like dming him he has like 22 million and i was like hey and then i remember even asking my agents you have any connections he's like like he's really famous i was like okay i mean just thinking like oh i'll just like add him up but um if you don't shoot your shot you never know that is very true and we ended up the the person we had in our video was under it was really great i was me just dming people just being like hey and i get lucky sometimes who you have in your video is really gaggy people they knew each other jay and this guy knew each other which i was so shocked i was like because you never want to be like oh you're k-pop by k-pop it's like oh you're gay you're gay do you know each other it's like no you know what i mean it's like no just because but they did so i was like well maybe it's a smaller world than i think is it okay okay so it's like in korea two foreigners like walking down the street oh is that your friend that you never want to be that person so then when they said that you knew i was like wait that's actually really cool oh my gosh that's so fun so you've been over so you've been over the 13 years you come back you guys come quite often you said like a couple like once a year but it has been almost two years since we've been so it was like about time for us to come i was craving like you get to the point where you're like i want to go to walmart you know it's like you get desperate i'm like i want to go to dollar tree like i need that vibe i need to see like the halloween decor and like i want to i want jay to see it too i'm like we need to go in a spirit halloween he's gonna be good are you still vlogging yeah i don't usually do long form anymore i do just like short form yeah that's a good one though do like tiktok vlogs that would be good his reaction to like halloween and like chilis and stuff we've never yeah he used to go to chilis that is actually that's such a good vlog do you have halloween in korea um not really like it's a thing but they don't sell like halloween costumes and stuff like kids like at school we would kind of like do a little something yeah not really so what is the thing that you have done since you've been here that you were like craving have you done the walmart's already have you done all that we did walmart but i didn't really get a chance to like fully look around and then i was like trying to lock in for the music video too so i was like i don't want to eat all of the shit that i've been like you know that's on my list i was like let me wait until after the video oh so are you gonna like indulge now this week oh yeah oh yeah yes i'm so excited i'm so excited but honestly i was like more excited to come here i was like this is my disneyland oh my god literally this is my disneyland i get so nervous to ask people anything like but once i like felt out the vibe even the fact that you were there i was like so it's a lot i felt like a lot of like because i was like if you guys were here is one thing but then the fact that you guys were like flying over like we moved our flights up i was like oh my gosh i was like i hope this is worth it i hope i'm worth i hope it's like worth everything because it was so much fun well i'm glad you came for this too because you also got like snacks yeah you brought korean snacks yes like however much i could fit in my suitcase like i was just trying to tell me no the fact that you brought this much over i was like this is like i wanted to bring some i didn't know if i would meet you because i was like i want to bring some for oscar and like jimmy hi jimmy i'm eating this right now oh my god and the girls like i didn't know if they wanted to well maybe we could try like okay you said these were the really popular ones right yes they were they were super viral like years ago they would even have signs on the convenience store doors like no honey butter chip like don't even come ask oh my god it's so competitive in korea too it's like if something's popular like good luck getting it like well that's how it is here too i feel like because they just opened up uh what is it olive young is that what it is they opened up one here and everyone was like yeah it's like the opposite of like you here it's like when we get like korean skincare we're like oh my god like a new uh alien we get really excited i love all the beauty brands i'm getting into that you're in your like korean beauty influencer era honestly it was because i wasn't i love the glass skin trend i love all that and then when came out like a couple brands like reached out like like a new ascent is a whole like gift box and they put like a little saranghae package in there and i'm like wait my skin is like looking so good so i thought it was like a gimmick and then i was like wait no and then when you look at all the beauty treatments you can get done like the color like analysis you can get over there i don't even get a facelift in korea for like 10k yeah i'm going over there to get my no you know you can my friend's mom just got it done on does it look good yeah she looks amazing do they have those centers too where they can like recover like they can like yeah i see those i've seen that for when you give birth kind of like a recovery hotel oh and when you give birth that's a different center too where they like literally like take care of your baby and they just pamper the mom yeah like you get like massages and stuff i was like we are moving and they have classes to teach you like how to take care of a baby and stuff wow they need that and then the surgery recoveries too i've been seeing over there and i was like i am gonna go to korea actually for that that looks so good yeah when my sister comes here we're like you know botox lashes everything like another bus another yes yeah we're getting manicures because everything's like more affordable too that's what i always see yeah it's like like people go over there for the skin treatments michaela do you follow michaela nagara when she's like get ready with me to go to korea she's like my skin care in korea she did whole skin care okay so let's try one of these for our listeners skip ahead to a minute moses is like they don't like chewing i don't want to like hype them up too much but it is really good it's like salty sweet how'd you open that oh i know the korean chips don't open the same way you have to like go on the side yeah you have to like it smells good okay let's do it at the same time wow these are good hold on one more it tastes like a biscuit do you want one it's really good it's really good well my thing too is i love salty and sweet and crunchy so this is kind of like everything wait that is like and it's not oily you want to try one over there it's actually it's not oily chip oh my god wait these are good but my favorite oh they're in there the chocolate churro that i was telling you oh my god this feels like old school youtube when they'd be like trying korean snacks and i seriously i wanted to bring you ones that i knew you would like i'm not bringing you the like spicy fish chicken chip my spicy shrimp chip would have been crazy i do he loves those he's always trying those okay let's try this one oh those are like giving oh i'll let you form your own reaction okay i feel like it's like a chocolate glazed donut kind of wow but it's like moses will like these for sure you love a little chocolate yeah they're so cute they're called um they're called turtle chips it's like a like a turtle shell oh my gosh okay ready yeah Oh my gosh. It tastes like the Twisted Taco Bell, but better. Oh my gosh. That's really good. They have different flavors, too. They have like vanilla cupcake, like caramel popcorn, like so many. What is it called again? Turtle chips. It kind of tastes like a crispy churro or something. It is. That's what it's giving. Oh my god, a churro chip. We should cosplay as these for Halloween. They all have a few little characters on it. Oh yeah, someone could be a bee, someone could be the little churro. Okay, what's this one? Free promo. Oh, those are like my favorite, too. That's literally Moses at the beginning of this episode with your sunglasses. It's kind of like giving Cheetos puff, but sweet. It's like maple syrup. Whoa, this is huge. It's just all snacks for lunch. Snack party. Mmm, it smells good, too. Ooh. All right. I'll eat for you. Okay, ready? Let's try it. I've already eaten like that. We're like. Oh yeah, sorry. It's like probably a big crunch. Wow. These do taste like something, too. It like reminds me of a certain cereal, maybe. I can't think of it. Yeah. Like honey bunches of oats or something. Wow, these are really good. Okay, so far my favorite. Oh, it's got like a little maple leaf. Is it Canadian, too? What are these flags? Maple syrup. Oh, maple syrup. What's this flag? Norwegian? What is that flag? Like a blue cross, you know that? Oscar? No. They got a Moses for that. What flag? Oh. I love that so much. Save the children. I love this. I know. Oh my gosh. Maybe we should move to Korea. All of us. I'm so excited for you to come and just like. I feel it. I would love to do a talk show there. Well, I probably have to speak Korean. I don't think I can just hold it back. Let's figure it out. There's been English over there, like a lot of people. In Seoul. Yeah. Yeah, maybe. We haven't lived in Seoul for. Maybe like six years or so. I've been like. I kind of live in the middle of nowhere, honestly. Like, people are always like, oh, she's gatekeeping, not saying her eyelash place. I'm like, I literally live like two hours away from Seoul. Yeah. You're also like, I don't want to be stalked again. Like, why would I give you guys my location? Especially like, you are so crazy that way. But yeah, I really live in the middle of nowhere. But yeah, in Seoul, like a lot of people do speak English, like menus and everything. Okay. So there's like. Like on the subway and stuff. Do you take it. Wait, what is it? Oh. Oh, okay. It's like, it's something going on. BTS. Little video. I was wondering if you were vlogging. I was like, are you vlogging? Okay, I love that. We were taking vlog clips. I'm always like, oh, you know, just in case. I do too. I feel like people would be so interested in it because like, it's such, it's such a great, like your lore is just so interesting and also you're just so sweet and I love the way you speak too. I've always seen it for your reel. On reels is where I see you the most and I'm like, I'm always stopping to hear. Like, I will unmute a Rachel Kwan reel. Oh, yeah. I love your voice. I love it too. And I love your new series that you've been doing with the beauty. Like, it was like beauty for different. Yeah. It's so. Trying to follow the trends always. I'm like, what are the girls doing? Yeah. There was one. It's like, you know, beauty like this. Cause you know, there's like for the music video, we did try to do like Korean style makeup, like with like the jelly lips and then like, cause Ari, my makeup artist, her daughter's really into like K-pop. They watch, you know, they go watch all the things. So getting that kind of makeup. But then you were doing one based on like, you said you're Latina. Yes. My mom is from El Salvador. Oh, wow. Wow. Oh my gosh, that's so cool. So do you tap into like that part of your culture? I love it, but like, I don't speak Spanish, like, which I wish I did, but yeah, I grew up in the U.S. So my mom came to the U.S. when she was like 17 years old and my dad is from Louisiana. So I didn't really grow up like really close to my mom's family, but I love like, I love the look of like Latina makeup. I think it looks so beautiful. It's just like, when I put it on, I feel so extra. And I feel like living in Korea is like, you kind of want to shrink yourself. And blend in like, instead of, you know, you already kind of stand out as a foreigner. Like, I don't want to be walking around with like, super glam makeup, you know, I kind of do like, really natural makeup. Because it fits you. You did like, a Persian style makeup too, right? Yes. Yeah, I was watching all the different ones. And I thought that was so interesting, just how different it can like, transform you. Also, I just love, I love cultures, because I always say this, like, I don't have culture. So like, whenever I see trends or stuff like that, I just really want to be a part of someone's like, culture, you know? No, I feel that. Because my mom, my mom's like. My grandfather is from Saudi Arabia. And I'm like, okay, I'm Saudi Arabian. Oh, interesting. Wow, so you really have everything. Well, like, my mom has family from there, but I haven't been there. Yeah, so. But I love tapping into it. And like, I just think it's fun, the makeup. I want to tap in. I did 23andMe, and it came back inconclusive. One time I did one, I like, for real, I don't know what happened to it. But one time I did one, and it said I was Moroccan. And then I was like, I'm going to follow up and see if I can find my family. And then we did one, and it was like, we can't decide what you are. And I was like, this is so sad, because I would love to. Yeah, I've been, like, doing Korean makeup for so long, it's just so normal to me. But yesterday we went shopping. I was, like, trying to find an outfit to wear today. It's funny, I ended up just wearing something I already had. I feel so, Jay is so patient. We went to three different shopping malls, like, literally. Well, you're so fashionable. So does he ever help you? Because you're like, you love his fashion. Oh, he does. I always trust his opinion. This is great. Vivian Westwood, I love the necklace, the belt, I love everything. No, you're very fashionable. But one of the girls, I've, like, found myself talking to everyone. Because in Korea, I'm, like, just, you know. People are more fashionable. I talk to myself. People don't really talk to strangers, so I'm not at all, like. Oh, interesting. No, because I'm so, I'm, like, complimenting everyone. It's, like, when I talk to everyone, like, I can't shut up. Oh, that's so interesting. So the cashier, when I bought these jeans yesterday, I was, like, I love your makeup. You're so pretty. And she was, like, oh, are you wearing makeup? Your skin looks good. And I was, like, oh. This is how, like, does your skin look perfect? This is, like, how my makeup was. So, like, clean, like, the no makeup makeup, but, like, actually. Yeah. Like, this is how my makeup was. I felt like I had, like, a lot of blush and stuff, and I was, like. No, it's so. No, it's not. It's, like, so clean, girl, where it could be just, like, skincare. Oh, okay. Yeah, here it's, like, contour, everything. That's why, like, for the music video, too, I wanted to take down how I normally do my makeup, because I just love, like, the Korean, like, makeup and the trends that they do. Just, like, the big eyes. What does your family think when you first were, like, okay, I'm moving, and then especially when you were, got serious with Jae and then got married? Because it's, like, it's so unconventional, because even me, who's, like, pretty tapped into pop culture, like, the whole K-pop system, like, I feel like I learned about it really with Cat's Eyes when I really understood it more, but there's so much, like, specific, like, very culture, like, a lot of different cultural elements to it. So, what did your family think when you told them about it? I mean, of course, they were sad for me to be so far, because it's just, like, so hard, and they didn't know when I would come back. I didn't know either. Like, I planned on just being there for a year, and then with teaching English, you have to sign one-year contracts. Oh. So. So, every year, I had to decide, like, do I want to be here for a whole other year? Wow. Actually, when I first started, like, getting more serious with Jae, they definitely were, like, okay, we're glad you're not, like, alone. Like, there's at least someone there, you know? You know, because crazy shit happens over the years. I'm, like, I ended up breaking my foot, I broke my arm, like, random. And then, like, going to a hospital by yourself. So, it's, like, going to a hospital, all those kind of things. They were, like, really grateful that he was there, even though they didn't meet him until, I don't know, we've been dating for maybe, like, six, seven years, maybe, until they met. They met him. Wow. That is actually, that is wild. Oh, my gosh. And so, now, when you guys go back, like, when you go to Louisiana. Oh, they love him now. Yeah. Oh, they're so supportive. What a culture shock, too, because even Louisiana is such a different culture than California. Yes, literally. Like, if I went to Louisiana, I'd be, like, I'm culture shocked. Literally. And I warned him. We went to Mardi Gras last year, though. What? That was crazy. That's so extreme. That was, yeah, it was very extreme. That's really fun. Did you like it? Did you like Mardi Gras? I love it. Yeah? You loved it? It's, I feel like just experiencing probably the way, like, I've, again, never been to Korea, but it's just, like, experiencing anything when you're in a different country, you just get so excited. It's like McDonald's, you're like, wow, it's, like, so different, you know, just being in a different country is, like, exciting. Oh, my gosh, for sure. Even, like, I haven't been here in two years, and then I'm just like, I feel like I'm in an American movie. I'm like, oh, like, just getting that, just the reverse culture shock again. The excitement. I love it. I'm just so excited to be here. Yeah, even your. It's only been, like, a few days. Oh, OTDs. You're like, I know I'm going to be sweating in this, but it's cute, and it was cute. You were giving American Girl, like, in America. I was trying. I was trying. It's really cute. Yeah, just to see, like, the reverse of it all. It's very, very cute. Do you have any other plans while you're here? Disneyland is our only other plan, and then we're off to New Orleans, and I have, like, all the places I want to go, but there's some, a lot of, like, food places I want to go. Like, we've both never been to Benihana or Cheesecake Factory. Wow. I really want to experience that. I feel like both of those are a must. Benihana, I did have a meal there. I would recommend. I'm getting the, it's called the Benihana Trio, but they call it Trish Trio for a little while. Is it still out there? You can order it. I think they, I don't know if they sell my insert there, but Benihana's great. Cheesecake Factory is very American, because you get those big-ass portions. You know, last year, we, was it last year? Anyways, last time we came to L.A., my sister came with us, too, and then me and my sister were like, we need to go to Bangin' Buns, because Trish was always talking about Bangin' Buns. Oh, my God, that's so funny. It's because, bye! That's why I was asking with the car service. We went. Oh, you went? Like, last time, we were in the U.S., and it was, let me tell you, it was so good. It's good. I love Bangin' Buns. Mac and cheese. It was so good. We should get that again. I trust your recommendations now. I was like, back down. I'm going to give you a list, then. I'm like, okay, we'll give you a list. Give me a list, because I still don't know, like, all the California places, like. I have a bunch. I do have all the eateries. Do you guys have, over in Korea, because, again, I don't know if it's just here in America, because sometimes, there are certain foods that they just don't have over there, but they, like, market them some way. Like, the Korean fried cheese, the cheese poles, do they have those in Korea, or are they just here? Like, I've seen them, but, yeah, not really. It's not really as big of a thing, I think. They just market them over here as, like, Korean corn dogs, and they're like, they don't have them over there. Oh, that's so interesting, because those are really good, too. Yeah, but I think there's just, like, super basic, like, street food, like. Yeah, I'm trying to think of American, like, what's so American food. Nuggets is, like, the most American thing I can think of. Nuggets. Chicken nuggets. Domino's. do you guys have dominoes in korea yes do you have dominoes yes is it good it's really it's really good oh my god there's those nights where i'm just like i need a dominoes need a you know sometimes we get papa john's that's pretty good it's crazy i guess like i knew mcdonald's was international it's a little different they'll have like k-pop idols on the box or something wait i love that they should do that here because it is really big over here yeah they should make things more cutesy yeah that's right oscar you need to come to korea too i feel like it's just so fun as someone who loves like cutesy things just there's so many i mean the little pikachu forest the little pokemon like yeah and i know you like we you and me are like the same person so i'm someone i'm watching the booth with you and you can take a picture okay we gotta go we gotta film a podcast over there too i guess we can find a way you yeah because we work with so many beauty brands now so i'll ask oh yeah we can get over there what's the other one i love there's one other one too pov beauty michaela takes everyone over to korea i mean i would be down i'd be so down um would you ever do a podcast because you're also like just so i feel like your overall being is just like so cutesy and just like would you ever do like you and jay do a podcast like what it's like because you guys are like i don't know a bad example like when i watched 90 day fiance there was a girl that would go over to korea and it was like so fun to watch yes do you know her oh we watched we watched that season because i i had to i was like yeah you know and it's fascinating so obviously not the same obviously but it was like such a fascinating thing because like your guys's wedding was so also like traditional i think i saw unless it was an ai picture but you guys got married in traditional garb right in traditional korean we did take photos in traditional hanbok but when we got married i was wearing like a western dress oh you were okay so you did take pictures yeah so then when devin went over there on 90 day fiance i remember they did both they did like you know the traditional and then she did her like regular one too which i thought was like really interesting and um i don't know i just think it's again seeing something through someone else but i guess that's your vlog so i guess that's where it's at when we talk about like hot topics here though like yeah um are you obviously like the pop culture is so different in korea so do you know the stuff that we talk about like do you still get western news and like western a lot of it just because i'm chronically online but this is definitely like just trish is my world news like this is how i stay like this is how i like stay connected we gotta get more fact checked we gotta get more on it the misinformation in korea must be fierce that is true because like when you're in a different country are they showing you u.s because we don't see korean tiktoks oh i think just because my algorithm like because that's what i watch so i really don't get many korean tiktoks anymore when i first started i did and i was kind of just like you just thought okay that's because i we can never get other people's that's the only bad thing about tiktok is like it doesn't show up on tiktok it doesn't show up on tiktok other countries to us either yeah you have to really kind of like if you interacted with it maybe but yeah i try because i was trying to find places to go in korea as i've been trying to like interact but it's usually like
