I am casual cosplaying Cyclops Scott Summers from X-Men, mostly because I pre-ordered this jacket like three months ago from like this designer, like this independent designer, and it came in on Saturday, and I was like, okay, what the hell, sure. - Oh, the 100 degrees in July or August now, I guess, yeah. - But you keep that air real low in here, honey, so yeah. - Oh yeah, it's freezing. I'm not gonna say who nor what, but there's some impact there. And then the casting is supposed to come out in like two weeks. August 14th is when the cast is supposed to be announced. There's been some rumors of who's gonna be the new MCU X-Men, and the actor who is rumored to be in Top Gun, and the actor who is rumored to be in Top Gun, and the actor who is rumored to be in Top Gun, That is true. That is true. I would look, I can see some people and be like, that looks like Brad Pitt. And it's like, I do, I can't see faces far. But I've seen you up close enough to know. But I was giving that. I suppose, yeah. At least through blurry vision. But I thought it looked good. I thought you looked like him. You probably did, though. Oh, it's funny, also, because at Comic-Con, I couldn't tell if people were cosplaying blind or actually blind. And it seemed kind of cool, though, because they're playing Daredevil. Like, there's a lot of Daredevils at Comic-Con, and he's a blind character. I love that. So they were, like, cosplaying him and have, like, the stick, the walking stick. I'm like, are you cosplaying, or is that, like, genuine blindness? I don't know. But it was giving either way. Does Daredevil always have a stick? No. His power is that he has, like, his other senses are really heightened, so he doesn't even need to see his gag. But I do think when he's walking around the streets in New York, he has a stick. I would guess they're actually blind. I would assume, right? Because that's kind of a crazy. Cosplaying a disability is kind of an interesting concept. I don't know, you see people cosplaying, like, Professor Xavier. And they're in the wheelchair. Are you Xavier Jay? That's what I'm saying. No, I'm sorry. Suddenly you show up, and you park in the disabled parking, and are you cosplaying, or are you? Very arty from Glee in the wheelchair. That is crazy. They honestly, they really should have casted someone who was actually in a chair. There's so many actors that are. Like, that is. Wait, who was Daredevil? Charlie Cox. You know him? No. Oh. Wasn't Ben Affleck him at one point? That was a while ago. Yeah, back in the early 2000s. Are either of them visually impaired? Visually impaired? No. No, they both are. We literally didn't even leave the house at all this weekend. Like, literally, there's nothing to do. Like, we've. We've taken them to Target. We've taken them to Barnes & Noble. But, like, there's no. So me. That's, like, literally my ideal weekend. No, literally, Malibu yesterday was like, she never. She's like, I'm bored. And it's like, because we usually always do something. And I was like, gosh, it's just so hot. And, oh, we couldn't go. Oh, we couldn't go in the pool. Oh, because, yeah, she had, like, an owie, so she couldn't go in the pool. So we're like, okay, what do we do? And then she's like, I just maybe go to the grocery store. I was like, girl, let's go in the car and go to that grocery store. We're getting our bomba. We're getting all the tortillas. And, yeah, she had a blast. But it's really just too hot. The parks. It's like in the weeds. But, like, in the parks out here, they don't. They're not shaded. No. So the swings, the slides are so hot. All the metal gets really hot. Yes. Even ours in the back. She couldn't go out there. I was like, I guess we could put some water. But then you're, like, sliding down the slide. And it was just. It's just too dang hot. So you never know when you go somewhere if there will be air conditioning there. Yeah. Like, the mall. Sometimes you get there and you're like, wait a minute. This is not. Marmalade. Marmalade. Yeah, it's hard to do literally anything. Which is, Comic-Con is crazy that they have it in the summer because everyone's wearing costumes. And, obviously, it's freezing in here. But it's, like, everywhere else it's, like, hot when you go outside. And you're just, like, sweating in all your gear. Yeah, because even in normie clothes, I was really sweating. So I felt for the cosplayers. There's a lot of latex. I cosplayed once as Light Katniss Everdeen. I was kind of more PETA, I guess, because I was wearing just the District 12 training outfit. Okay. And I didn't have a wig or anything. No braid. No braid. But I also wasn't blonde. I don't know. I guess I was giving, like, casual cosplay tees. You're giving Liam Hemsworth in The Hunger Games. Oh, kind of that. Although he was not a tribute. And I was in the tribute outfit. But we'll, like, know that. I don't know what that even means. You saw all the Hunger Games movies, no? Yeah. But, I mean. You know the outfit when they're training before going in? Yeah. Oh, okay. The tributes are the contestants? Yes. Okay. I didn't know they were from tributes. than morgan wallens i'll give you that i could do the stadium tour for sure i could definitely do that it is i guess country you're just well they did so they're the biggest stadium tour this is part gained weight on mine because i was yes because i was out eating my glp-1 because i was like stress eating oh and also it was like my birthday too so i was like you know what i don't care i'm gonna eat whatever the hell i want and then it was comic con after so i'm like but i don't think i'm just too old where it's like like i've lost weight before i'll do it again you know i'm like not really stressing about it and yeah i kind of agree with that too i feel like even if it does like wear off or something even like the end of the week when it wears off a little bit i am kind of like mentally just like no i can do it i can do it without it being super strong you know what i mean i think it's just like yeah readjusting your mind which is kind of what it does i don't know i'm still pretty because it's less calories yeah well i think that's why they call it skinnylicious because it's just you're eating less calories you're in your calorie deficit if it was healthy and called things i caught in the audio and luckily i was able to catch it because i literally was like oh my god there was like another tiny little thing and the gag is is like you can change some things now but it has to be the exact same word count so it's like trying to find so like junior and senior it was like an easy switch but like there was one other thing throw the whole like format i guess i guess it's already been formatted as this like so i gotta really go through it again because it's like when i was reading i was like oh no so yeah i still i've i've changed so many things so many times but i wanted to be so spot on so accurate and there was one but you can have that one and you can see if you can spot the uh inaccuracies if you listen to it later uh i think it's good yeah i think it's good it's really fun but yeah when you read it it's just like or when i was reading it for the audiobook i was like oh it's so weird and it's so weird because you have that forever like your little voice telling your story forever so people ever want to use like excerpts later on they could have my actual voice telling the story you know it's pretty fun it's pretty good my voice is because the store just opened so i'm like why else would there be a line in august at spirit halloween and then i went home and then i saw that there was all this hoopla over a fnaf like real life animatronic and that's what they were in line for yes it's like this like really limited 500 lifelike animatronic looks like it's just from the movie and it's being resold for like three thousand dollars where where do you even resell something that big you can't do it on plushmark i guess ebay i've seen listings on ebay that are going for like three thousand dollars and it's the same it's life size it's like the chuck cheese one yeah someone literally opened and built it in the parking lot of a spirit halloween like did a tick tock of it and it looks really cool i will say i'm like damn if i would have known i would have hopped right over and got into that line would you have like how many people were in the line when i left the home goods i would say maybe like 15 people it wasn't anything too crazy oh my gosh that's why i literally thought it must have been like job interviews because like it wasn't a crazy amount of people and also i'm like who was lining up at spirit halloween i didn't even know this was happening oh my gosh um anyway i all that to say i am very uh into it and you know it's one of those things where you can't get it like the i always fall for the him set up and i'm kind of like damn i was so excited about this tree and i'm kind of like did we need it we got the last model i was like we need to get this last one we need to it and i'm just like it's just literally causing clutter in a house i'm decluttering well halloween is still a ways away so you still have time i don't know where we're gonna put it what to put it here too because then i just thought about it too we bought little halloween ornaments for it and it's like the kids can't have the ornaments because like aquaman the log does break the ornaments so i'm just like i guess we're gonna put it in here next episode you see the halloween tree will be here because i don't know where else we're gonna go with it and we spent three hundred dollars on the last store i don't know it was three hundred dollars but we bought all the little things that go with it and we have no place to put it now and i'm like dang but i'm still in the halloween spirit i still really love that she's taking a step back after the tour she's not going to be doing her show on the west end with johnson bailey and seven it's like okay so she's clearly like regrouping but then still people are like see she has she's not addressing it she's not this and i was like yeah of course she's not gonna say it's because i'm sick or something it's like anybody who cancels a show they don't say they cancel shows because no one's buying their tickets which is how it is it's a a very blanket statement to not have to go into the stuff that's like very hurtful or embarrassing you know which could be if she's sick or if you're not selling out of your shows or whatever like that like that's that would be a reason so when people like she's gaslighting us into being like because they did i guess say like she's healthily doing this tour or she's doing it with lots of energy or something like that it's like it's i don't think it's like gaslighting i think it's just like trying to protect whatever it is she's going through obviously like it's shocking it's not like well but to speculate but also to then also just like really rip in and be like and they did this and she has a fire in like let's say it came out and i was just like hey i've been dealing with like self-harm or something like don't you think people would have like a little more sympathy as opposed to i guess people just think they're getting gaslit i guess perhaps but also like say and it's so hard because it's all like talking hypotheticals because we don't actually know anything but say like if you are going through something where it's like either an addiction or a mental health thing it's like you can't it's different where i feel like justin bieber i forget what he got diagnosed with but he had like an actual physical ailment that was diagnosed and it wasn't like you know a mental thing you know so um and he had to like postpone his tour because of that you know and people obviously are going to be understanding because it's like something that's out of your control versus like something that stems from like you know mental health it's so different because like a lot of the times you i mean you're aware that you have this issue but like you're in this weird process of like disassociating or denial or whatever it's not that bad so it's like also harder to like if like if that was me and i'm like in the middle of it i'm not going to be able to say like you you're right i have an issue because i'm if i'm going away it's because i'm getting treatment for said issue so i'm not at the point where i can say i'm going through it because i have to remove myself get help and then i can like look back and be like yes i was going through this like but you have to get to that point before you can admit it you know so especially with any sort of disorder eating or eating disorders like a hundred percent you like don't know you're in it you know you don't know i think for me for a long time i just thought it had like a weird issue with food and then you like look back and you're just like oh my god that was like a binge eating disorder which you like don't know at the time you're right and then you're like oh my god i'm like oh my god i'm you know and so you don't know how to like phrase it and stuff and it's it is it is such a it's such a hard one i i believe eating disorders are so mental i was talking about this too or it's like i do think it is obviously like a physical sickness but it's like it's almost like i think it's a lot mental i think eating disorders is a mental thing it's all it's mostly in your head obviously it's like you know it comes out if you're not eating food or eating food or whatever but it's just it's such a hard one and it's like you're hyper aware but also can be in denial at the same time like you're hyper aware you're this or that it's it's uh eating disorders are really tricky and tough and yeah you kind of don't know sometimes you don't know if you need help sometimes you don't know if people are being mean because that's the problem too is like you don't know if people are just being assholes or if you actually need help people around you don't know because maybe people around you are like i know with me with my mental illness it's like people like oh she needs help i'm like no i'm fine so then like okay leave her alone so it's just like yeah and also like struggle i guess for you too it's like i mean i'll say i'll put it about me and then like so like when i interviewed you it was like you just got out what i think what it was when you were gonna do your heartbreak tour so it was right after you were 51 50 right yeah two mental hospital stays yeah exactly and it's like i'm interviewing you you're like a little erratic but also like you present fine so i'm like she's fine it's like you know so it's like i would never think or even like when i saw you the first time at joey's house and then i go and we're talking you're fine you present fine and you go home and you're on the floor like he left me you know so yeah and you don't know are you okay are you not where do you step in yeah it's hard to like judge that too yeah and i was like not well i would have like loved to have been there but i was like i would have loved to have been there someone to step in but like at the time you could like it is it's so hard and i think that same specifically ariana grande and she's at such a power position or you know any celebrity i guess at a power position it's like if she says she's fine she's fine and now you know it doesn't become an issue are people seeing other stuff you know obviously she's doing a tour which is very physically demanding so it's like you have to have some stamina it's like i don't know it's it's uh i just think yeah the commenting here we are talking about it because it is like a shocking thing and i think it's okay i don't know like you said i don't know where the line is i think it's like you know but then kelly osborne came back and everyone's like oh she's looking healthier because now she's like not as i don't know people it's just like it's such a then then that could trigger her into more like it's just like where does it end it doesn't end and it's sad and that was my main thing as i'm like it's actually it's just sad because at the end of the day like we're all so many of us 99 have body dysmorphia and we're our bodies and food and like where does it end it never ends uh-huh it's like you never you can never be too skinny you're too fat you're about how I watch it. I guess I'm glad that you watched it. Yeah. And it's hard to have like a nuanced conversation about it. Like, I think a lot of people are making good points. It's like, obviously, you want to not say like hey this is like the aspirational attainable image but you also like want to be respectful and sensitive and not like hateful and ruin someone's like mental health make them even worse like mentally you know especially ariana i think is very susceptible to it she's very like hyper aware of like what people like even the meme of her is the daisy you know like she's aware of that meme it's like she is like online enough to know these like memes and what does she know how do you know she knows because then they leaned into it yeah so she like she saw like the meat like her fans using her head like as the the flower the daisy whatever and like before the song came out it was already like a meme because yeah pedal there was a whole thing where it was like there was an ai version of the song and everything because the album is also called pedal so yeah oh i didn't know it was like a whole meme thing so she's like very aware of basically like like two years ago or three years ago talking about her body you know so it's like you want to be sensitive and respectful and then also be like hey like because even like when i was dealing with like disorder eating i would watch like i think like america's next top models where i learned about like purging or whatever and i was like oh i should try that yeah you wouldn't know yeah and like you don't really know like you hear that it's bad but like you don't know it's like what extent or whatever so like it's good that it'd be like hey no this is actually unhealthy because of this this is this yes so you want to make it seem like yeah like don't this it shouldn't be like the norm shouldn't be normalized but you also want to you know be respectful and not like pile on and make it a whole debacle yeah especially now that she's like taking a break and then like you said the tiktok she made years ago where she don't comment she's made it very clear i yeah because there's people i always say this because like people always be like i don't know if i should tell you this but like you look good like you know what i mean and it's like i make it my whole brand like that's what i talk about i don't care i talk about my body i talk about my weight loss all stuff like that but i think when people either don't say it or like ariana makes it abundantly clear that she actually like twitter to like look and he does post like just like me memes every hour so i wonder like i knew someone like this i did on facebook where like people from other countries it's almost like it's kind of like clip farming but like view farming where it's just like there's people who just like make content to get views and engagement on your thing so it looked like all his tweets kind of had that they were like weird memes weird videos and i remember i'd see that on facebook a lot and people are like oh it's just to get money because it's like you post these videos and it gets a lot of things so i'm assuming mario lopez did not post that i would hope but they need the photo to post that so i'm assuming mario lopez did not post that i would and Denise and like no he had a video on there so there's the video still up the original video is like hey we're at the Dodgers game like so oh so you know I mean one of the things with Twitter and Grog is like you know you have a photo and you just click on one button and it turns the photo into a video yeah and AI does whatever it wants to do with it so but I think still I think it's him like he probably it's his photo or video he had to upload it from his own I think he has a company my theory is he has a company doing all these memes and videos for him to get engagement on his Twitter or to get paid on his Twitter I don't think he's posting every hour memes I think someone's doing it for him but specifically that photo video he had to get from his own camera sure for sure everyone does every celebrity all these celebrities I know they they'd send videos and they send it to their social media person in the social media post person post it so I'm sure he has that because this was a weird but whoever posts that is like look into that who posted that for you and why yeah I see what you mean because he does a lot of like like his latest tweet was training for the can I date your daughter interview and it's him boxing and I know damn well he just has I know yes a straight a straight yes yes running his like socials it's giving that and it's like it's like when I did Ryan Seacrest and I was like not a match because it was like me trying to be a straight guy so I feel like Mario Lopez definitely has like a red-pilled straight man doing his social media and if you are gay come forward and I will apologize but there's just no way there's no way or when Colleen remember had a 13 year old doing her tweets it is I mean that 13 year old I mean there's just no way who him or whoever didn't see that it was like fetish like fetish content there's just no way it was so sexual and his his niece is 19 I guess so like at least she's at least she's legal age but like to do that to your niece but that's why I'm saying like because they probably knew she was 19 or like I don't know I I feel like it was so purposeful he needs to make us a statement I never want to say make a statement you cannot keep this you cannot keep it moving you need to make a statement on this I would be right away I would take to Instagram be like that was that mean I hired this this is so disrespectful inappropriate that was that was crazy I like his sibling whoever's like her parents would be like what the hell is it I'd be pissed it was my daughter if it was my niece of him and I'd be like what the like that is the weirdest thing in the birthday party but then it was 21 it was like over 21 so he came in he was about he was like on his way to the party and then he found out that it was 21 uh and over only because obviously he's drinking and stuff um and it was like a whole controversy too like why is she inviting uh teenagers to a party i will say when i watched streamer university and not to be always a tari i mean apologist but like i assumed he was a lot older because he was at streamer university so i just assumed everyone there had to be like of age you would assume i would assume yeah most people would assume tar also is like famous for inviting literally everybody she just sends dms everyone should follow so i think it's probably like one of those things yeah um and yeah it was funny seeing that become like a whole controversy i think too the only reason i realized his age is because he was talking to sky jackson on the streamer university whatever uh one of the streams and they were talking about what year they were born and then i forgot what he said you wow he's 17 so whatever that math is and then i remember having to do the math that was like 17 is crazy and he what did he stream trying to go to the party yeah he was and he talked about his experience of like and tar is like well you can still try to go and uh he's he was annoyed with tar for inviting him if it was like wait she said you could still try to go yeah so she knew his age uh after he called her and he called and the party's happening yeah she picks up she apologized she said oh well like you can still try and come to and get in did he just say i can't he's like i can't get in he's like i'm 17 why would you invite me if it's 21 and over and she's like and then she apologized yeah this is why i don't be friends with streamer don't call me on your stream it wasn't he was talking about it on stream the call was not on stream got it yeah he called so he's talking about this he's talking about his talk with her and telling his viewers about it but again even that i don't even want to talk to any streamers because it's like all your conversation i mean probably why people don't talk to me if you have a podcast it's gonna be on the podcast i'm like okay don't tell me things if you don't want to stay on the podcast so it's like yeah i think streamers are it's just like all your business will be out stopped at the in and out he was streaming at in and out and talking about this so i feel like he was on the way and realized it was 21 and over and then asked her about it she apologized said you can still come and also i don't i think yana another streamer was there yana j she's 19 so i'm assuming i don't know how who yeah i was gonna say i don't know how well they're checking those real like i thought we have real ids i know they used to be good back in the day to check ids my brother the one i'm not that close to is also half white but he is just a slinger like i'm throwing everything out literally like 50 and i was like they won't let me buy the alcohol i'm like why was my boyfriend making me go get alcohol when he was like 50 and i was 21 and the guy like wouldn't sell it to me because he's like this is a fake id and i was like but it was so real i was like and i thought he didn't destroy it or anything thank god but i was like damn even when i had it but i thought it was so embarrassing because i was like damn i can't even get alcohol especially when you're 21 you want to be cool and get alcohol and you're just like damn i can't get it i remember my 21 my 21st uh birthday not to bring it back to the glee curse but it was when cory monty passed away oh i don't know i was like okay okay but i remember it so like viscerally because like it was my 21st birthday i was ordering a drink for the first time and then i even asked for my freaking id and then also cory monty passed that's when i found out he passed away and i was like this is a lot going on but then but my all my friends have stories of like especially in high school of them being like you know the bouncer would like quiz them oh this is you what what's your address and like they would quiz and like i remember like they would always go out i would always like i would stay with them as they pre as they got ready then i would take my ass home and so they would like i would have to like quiz them on their fake id oh you were helping you were assisting me uh and like their full name middle name address and they would have to have like a whole backstory for their fake names yeah and also the photos like didn't really look like them or like especially once they were like in college they would have like a lot of them were like in sororities or whatever so like they're older whatever they're called they're bigs they're bigs oh yes yes the bigs like with their old id or whatever oh so so they had someone's actual id some were faked and some uh were inherited real ids or some were inherited fake ids too so i was like here girl this one always worked for me and take it it's crazy like you really need to go to a club that bad they're not that exciting i was gonna say a hard take like clubs are so lame i hated them when i was young i hated them now i think they're just so lame did i go to a club i feel like i went to a club once and i was like what is happening like god where was it did i go to did we go to a club together and i'm like what do you even do when you're inside you're just like here we are you can marry that usually it's when you are single because you want to meet people or something but i remember going in hollywood and they the bouncer asked us for money to even go in to pay to go into the club you know what i mean oh damn yeah like it's shady i guess guys they always let girls in for free right i don't know i don't know we were a mixed group but no they asked for everyone they were just the girls weren't hot enough right don't they let girls in for free bouncers were making money on the side oh well don't pay it that was your fault i'm like i'm just going home i'm not paying this i loved my early 20s was oh yeah it was being um trigger warning shane and drew and we would go to el torito and then go back on the couch and just watch strawberry 17 where we saw oscar we would just watch those videos time well spent yeah it was great we get sweet lady jane cakes and eat them and it was just it's a good time great time so better just stay home and sit on the couch wait for that 21st you know what wait until it's legal yes it's like way far 21st no wait for your 21st see it's getting like the audio where it's at the two and a half hour mark i'm like what all the words start slurring together wait for that 21st and even then it's not that great it's not that great my dad it's expensive too drinking yeah and going out ubering yes yes the whole thing ubers drinks are so expensive you like don't feel good i don't know i just think it's lame but we don't drink so i guess if you like drinking that's probably now food that is worth it goes for your money and a hundred dollar tomahawk and just eat in front of a tv it's the best best feeling ever well guys thanks for being here this was a great episode actually really fast and we had a lot of good conversation nothing too hot but and sometimes when we do a little something a little too controversial maybe i don't like to be too hard on anyone i feel like we were just very light-hearted on everybody today right except for mario lopez but that's deserved yeah we
