The Precap | Desi Lydic on Snow Days, Kash Patel Crashing the Olympics, and the State of the Union

In this episode of The Daily Show podcast, hosts Matt O'Brien and Desi Lydic open by discussing a severe blizzard in New York, noting they are recording remotely from their homes. They humorously share the challenges of parenting during a snow day, with children glued to screens. The conversation shifts to the U.S. Olympic hockey teams' dual gold medal victories over Canada, celebrated as a patriotic moment, though they critique former President Trump's insincere congratulations and reluctance to invite the women's team to the White House. They briefly touch on a temporary TSA Pre-Check shutdown and the Supreme Court's ruling on tariffs, highlighting Trump's unpredictable policy responses. Looking ahead, they express dread about the upcoming State of the Union address, expecting a meandering and unhinged speech from Trump amid political tensions. The episode maintains a comedic tone throughout, including playful teasing of their Canadian producer about the hockey loss and light commentary on other news like Prince Andrew's arrest.

This episode is brought to you by Ninja Lux Cafe, the three-in-one machine that makes a espresso, drip coffee, and cold brew. No barista skills required. You're listening to Comedy Central! Hello, welcome to the Pre-CAP. This is a Daily Show podcast where we sit down with this week's host to discuss some of the stories that we may be missed last week, and some of the stories that we're thinking about covering in the week ahead. My name is Matt O'Brien. I am a writer and producer at the show, and I am joined by this week's host, the hilarious Desi Lydek. Hi, Desi. Hi, Matt. How are you? How are you? How are you? Thank you for that. Thank you very much. I am very generous of you. The months of rehearsal has paid off, and I have successfully opened our podcast. We are coming to you remotely instead of in person, of course, because of a giant blizzard in New York City. I'm broadcasting from my eight-year-old daughter's bedroom. Oh, nice. I'm broadcasting from my home office, also known as my bedroom, in a tiny New York City apartment. That's where Joe Rogan does his podcast. Yes, I think so. In my tiny New York City apartment, we share his face. I recognize it. Joe and I, yeah. All right, so let's talk about, we were off last week, so let's talk about maybe some of the things we missed very quickly. Of course, the blizzard. The blizzard is, yeah, pretty top of mind as I'm looking out my window. It's intense. Yes. This is. My windows are covered. Yeah, same. And stacked. Just stacked. Snow. And I'm looking at the trees outside going like, I'm just hoping that the branches don't break off. It's. For sure. This is. I was remembering moving to New York in 2015, and there was a blizzard early in the year of 2016, about 10 years ago, and I remember that being pretty intense, but this is. I think this is more so. This is the most intense blizzard I've ever experienced. And that includes getting noralirus from. Dairy Queen. So. Wow. And that was intense. It's dairy queens. I hope dairy queens are not a sponsor. I hope we'll find out. I guess we'll see. I guess we'll see. It's also. That don't be silly. We don't have sponsors for this. Maybe there's a competing soft serve ice cream company that wants to step in, and we will mention that it doesn't give you norovirus. The non-norovirus soft serve. You pay us enough money, we will clarify that your product doesn't give you norovirus. That's right. But it's going to cost you. So, of course, you and I are both parents. So we're speculating on what our kids. So there's a simmering tension, of course, to this blizzard. It's not a winter wonderland as much as it is a day inside with shouting. Yeah, bored children. Bored screens. But I do appreciate a good old-fashioned snow day with no zoom school. I do appreciate that Mondani was like, no zoom school, no homework, traditional snow day. But inevitably in my house, that means that my kids going to be on his iPad for 14 hours, binge watching stranger things or something. I mean, he's not going outside. Same with my. I mean, we force our kids to go outside. Because they look at a snow day as a green light to break all the time limits. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All the sugar restrictions, everything. Oh, everything. It all goes out the window. It's chaos inside and outside the house. What are they doing right now? Are they on their iPads? You know what I think they're playing Minecraft because I need them to be quiet while I'm podcasting. Whatever it takes. Daddy's podcasting, we better play Minecraft. For a walk in our house. For a weird childhood. Don't disturb daddy when he's podcasting. We'll never hit that. As if I do it very often. Right. It's his. You know that. His thrice yearly podcast. We can't ruin it. Always podcasting. You're a better man for it, Matt. I appreciate the only. It's the only thing they're going to remember about their childhood is my podcasting. Of course, one story that everybody is still kind of a buzz about is the US men's and women's Olympic hockey team. Both winning gold. Yes. Both in overtime. Yeah. Both over Canada. Yes. The world hockey powerhouse. An incredible. Very nice kind of old school USA, USA Olympic moment. Incredible that they both did it in the exact same way, scored a gold over time. Yeah. In kind of one of the centerpieces of the Winter Olympics. That photo of Jack Hughes raising his fist with his bloody teeth is. I think an all-time great Olympic image. And then of course, the FBI director Cash Patel. Yes. Of course, the FBI director Cash Patel, chugging a beer and celebrating, dropping F-bombs with the US men's Olympic team. It's hard to take our country seriously. It really is. I mean, the men win gold and they get Cash Patel. I think I'll take this silver. Thank you very much. It's just such proof that he doesn't want to be the director of the FBI. He just wants to be in the Cool Kids Club. Like, he just wants to be part of the gang, you know? He would be happier as like a bar stool. Totally. Totally. We'd all be better off for it. Oh, 100%. He would be great at it. Yeah. I'd give him a follow. Yeah. Oh, same. Of course, I'm very patriotic. I root for our team to win. But there was a small part of me that was hoping that Canada would win just so we didn't have to deal with Trump's insufferable responses. And I'm realizing that that small part of me was 100% spot on. It was right on cue that he put him on speakerphone in the locker room. And in that call, President Trump said he invited the men's team to the White House on Tuesday. And then I guess I don't know if exact words, but it was sort of like, and yeah, and sorry, we're going to have to invite the women as well. I guess it was an imposition. It's an imposition to invite the women's team to the White House. I guess we'll have to invite the women as well. Because I wanted the same thing for the president to say. Believe it or not. Like he just can't help himself. I am praying that the women's team comes back and they're like, now we're good. Oh, that would be fantastic. I mean, please. I'm sorry, but unfortunately we're going to have to say no. Or they could go to it. Maybe they go to the competing Democrat stated. Oh, even better. That would be even better. Honestly, just a Buffalo Wild Wings or something. We have plans. Just some-- We have plans. Just some-- A BW3s. Little place that is so much less regal, but at least they don't have to be around him. It's so crazy to me how he spends a year saying, "I want to protect women in sports." But then he's like, "I don't want women in sports in my house." Yeah. Like, what the hell? No one's more pro women than me. Totally. And then, ugh, we have to invite the women's team to the White House. She's kind of bad. As if that was going to denigrate their coming to-- He's not coy. No, that's for sure. What a charm or that guy. He just can't help himself. Congratulations to the women's team on their gold medal. Ugh, I guess I have to be happy about it. I was surprised that he didn't talk to them about the rigged election after the game. Yeah, so-- You know, this game wasn't rigged, but you know what was rigged? Speaking of rigged. Yes, speaking of rigged. So, congratulations to the men's and women's hockey team. And of course, we have a Canadian producer on our podcast named Alan. Alan, are you there? Yeah, we should check in with Alan. We should check in on-- Wow, your face is despondent. And I understand. Oh, God. This was-- I mean, I told you guys we were taking this out of the-- We were taking this out of the outline. Oh, yeah. No, this is staying in the outline, Alan. No, this is staying in. This says bolded. Must do. Must stay in the podcast. In fact, I'm doing the edit on this, will absolutely 100% be in. How are you doing? Are you doing okay? I assume that you all must be pretty upset about this. Mm. Yeah. Yeah. Just, yeah. There's a little, a little saltiness at the-- You're a real sitting duck on this podcast. It's unbelievable. Does he could just go through and unload? I think we're just all wondering why-- You know, they opened the bar at 5 a.m. in British Columbia so that people could watch the game. I'm just picturing all the Canadian stumbling out of the bar at 7 a.m. drunk and mad. Oh, god. But I think we'll rebuild. We'll have to find a way to come back. And-- Yeah. No riding this time, usually when-- That's good. --when the connox have gotten to the finals in the past and lost. It's been some gentle riding. And so I feel like we're growing as a people. For sure. Well, when Canada becomes the 51st state, we all have won the gold and the silver. Alan, if it makes you feel any better, I just want you to know, hockey is number seven for us in terms of favorite American sports. So it really-- it doesn't mean that much to us. How about in Canada, where does hockey rank? Yeah, same, same, same. You know, it's like Canadian football curling high jump and then hockey right down there. So you know, it's not wounding the national pride or anything. We're taking it well, I think. Everybody's reacting normally. Yeah. I think the internet is calm. Yeah, totally. Yeah, I'm sorry. You said Canadian football? [LAUGHS] Everybody plays Canadian football. You got to play Canadian football, right? You know it's popular. You know it's popular when you have to qualify Canadian football. Wow, OK. And then I just want to make sure we-- Can you take that back, Alan? One more time and just give us the rankings. I want to make sure that we have it. Yeah, I think it was a-- it was degrassi shits created rivalry. OK. Good. Alan, while we have you, can you just check our levels real quick? Make sure our levels are good. Yeah, weirdly, that whole last chunk was muted. So I think we can just move on. Yeah. Yeah, OK. Apolloges, Alan. We-- time heals all wounds. And we look forward to-- you know what? By next week, you will only be a tiny bit less sad. But each week, by summer, you will still be sad. Yeah. The Olympics happen a couple times a year. Right. It's where. You only have to wait for agonizing years for redemption. Oh, man, I hadn't thought of that. Oh, Alan's gone. He left us and will never return. The most Canadian storming off ever, hitting mute. He's turning off his camera. Politely passive. Well, I never. Yes. All right. So TSA pre-check was shut down and global entry at the airport. We shut down momentarily. And now it's back, apparently. That was like-- what was it? Like eight hours? It was about eight hours. Roughly eight hours. That's a level of competence that I've become accustomed to. Yeah. And it feels like they sometimes don't make decisions like this and kind of put out their feelers very quick. Like, so we are going to shut down TSA pre-check. And then they see the blowback and go, you know what? Never mind. Just kidding. Just wanted to see. Just, you know, they dip their toe in the reaction. That was an intern that put that announcement out. That was a name. That was a name. That was a name. It was shut down. It doesn't make-- I have TSA pre-check. I don't want to brag. Oh, excuse me, leaders. It's also something-- yeah, thank you. An global entry. You know what I have? I have it too. I have it in the rest. Yeah. Elegist. Yeah. So it's something you pay extra for. So I don't quite understand. Yes. I don't understand what the thought process was. Like, that comes out of your pocket, not the government's pocket. So why is that maybe why they eventually decided, this is a terrible idea? Or they know you're just make people mad, and they could run that Christy Known video of telling people that the Democrats have shut down the government. Yeah, it feels like that. It feels like that. That was-- That was-- That was-- What it was. I love that they're like that, honestly, Mother Nature is the real DHS here. DHS is like, we're going to shut down TSA and global entry and Mother Nature's like, I'm shutting down the East Coast. I'm going to shut down the East Coast bitch. Show you. I don't care if you've paid extra. Yeah. And given us your eyeball data, I'm shutting her down. Shut her down. And then, let's see here. Do you want to talk about tariffs? Yes. Let's talk about tariffs. So that's actually probably the biggest story we missed, which is the Supreme Court ruled that Trump's tariffs is unilateral tariffs are legal. I'm in a 603 ruling and his response was-- No, I'm going to impose a 10-- It was a 10% global tariff. 10%? Quickly, he woke up, said it's 15. And then 15. And he just said, I'm going to choose a different law. Yes. Yeah, I'll just go around it. So any thoughts on that? That's a huge-- Sorry, actually, there's an update. The tariffs are now at 17%. Is that true? I think so. No. No, sorry, 108%. Ah. No, sorry. A fuck tonne percent is what he's saying now. So that's-- Yeah, we don't-- That does sound like him. It changes-- A fuck tonne percent. A fuck tonne percent. It changes moment to moment. It's-- It depends on whatever signapses in his brain or aren't firing at any given moment. Is the tariff. It's like the global economic version of getting kicked out of a bar and then coming back in with a mustache disguise is what it feels like to me. Just real juvenile seventh grade stuff there. But that feels meaningful to me, right? I mean, dare I say the Supreme Court is growing a spine? Is that too optimistic? Yeah, the levers of power in the government are working, you know, per se. And unfortunately, it's built upon the idea that the president would accept the structure of our government, which is a wild thing to say, that he wouldn't just shrug. Right. You know, much like a good example is when Biden, Supreme Court ruled that forgiving student loaned that was illegal. Imagine if he had just been like, "Can't hear you, sorry, we're doing it." "Doin' it anyway, I'll get it done another way." All right, so tariff's or who knows? Who knows? But promising sign checks and balances. Right? I want to get it done myself. Yeah, so there was actually pushback from another branch, not Congress, of course, but. If only they felt that way about women's reproductive rights. I'd let it go. He unloads so forcefully when he doesn't get his own way and just calling those Supreme Court justices a disgrace to the nation. Slap dogs. Slap dogs. Several of which he appointed. Yes. It is scorched earth immediately when something doesn't fall his way. It's consistent at the very least. If it weren't so terrifying, it would be hilarious. So, looking ahead to this week, obviously, the tariffs may come up again. I imagine. I imagine. So, we have the state of the union. The state of the union. True day night. How is the state of the union, Matt? How's the state? We're the hottest country on planet earth. Do you think, are we going with terrific? Are we going with the best, the hottest? The hottest. Everyone wants to be us. The hottest, most respected. Most respected. Bigliest. Most respected. Most respected. Do you want to talk about what you expect? Anything like that? More of the same, perhaps? The state of the union makes me feel the same way that this blizzard does, that I just want to curl up into a ball and never leave my apartment ever again. Is that fair to say? That's, I think, probably a lot of people feel this way. One thing I'll say is, Trump, he kind of, you know, the state of the union traditionally is sort of this update. Maybe there will at least be some surprise as to what's going to be in it. But Trump, in the age of social media, just kind of barfs out whatever he's thinking in real time. So for me, the state of the union is his speech writer, probably just putting connective tissue between his truth social posts. Right. And how on Promter or on message does he stay versus just shoot not the hip? I was going to say, well, I would say precedent would say, it's going to be a meandering winding. You know, the hawk, I'm sure he'll do 20 minutes on the hockey team that's in there. What about the most pressing issue facing us? 18 minutes on Arnold Palmer's penis. I mean, he's got some time to fill. I think people want the classics. And I'm most curious about what level of unhinged he shows up as. Because I mean, he's taken quite a few hits recently, the Supreme Court ruling. Economy is not doing great. People, you got, you got the, Maha women who are upset about the glit glyphosate. What's the, right, the weed killer chemical killer that, that he just doubled down on that there's concrete evidence causes cancer. Yeah, he should be manufacturing at a higher clip. He also has just completely done a 180 on food additives. Right. Alienating quite a bit of his base. And then there was a CNN poll that came out. Just today, I think that said, what, like 62% disapproval among independence that might not be right. But, but listen, like this is a, this is an awkward time to do a state of the union for him. So I am, I am genuinely curious about what kind of, you know, he's always unhinged. But at what, what will the range be where on the scale will he be on Tuesday? It's unfortunate that it's not, it's, it's a, again, sort of a non-events, because I think we kind of know, unless he's got some, some, some tricks up his sleeve that we haven't heard before, which I don't think he does. I think it's going to, this is a summation. This is a summary of the movie you've been watching, a quick, a quick summation of it. Well, not a quick, he doesn't do it quick, but this is. Nothing quick about it. Connecting all those crazy rants together, I'd say. Anyway, I will be watching with baited press. Do you do anything special? We all will. Yes, do you do anything special for the stadium? How do I, how do I, how do I pre-game? Yeah, how do you pre-game exactly? Just pound in white claws. Gather round kids. Uh-huh, listen to Kid Rock. Yeah, throw on that Kid Rock. Get in the mood, baby. I also, you're right in the sense that in that room, he's, his list of enemies currently in his administration only grows. So, um, the number of people that he's been combative with just in that room, it's going to just continue to, well, I wonder if he can get to 100% by the fourth year. Do you think, uh, is it, is it true that Democrats are protesting? They're not going? Right. They're, they're threatening to go to a separate event. Right. They're having a separate state of the Union called people's union. I was reading about that and it seemed kind of ambiguous at this point, so I don't know. Um, yeah, I mean, I think a lot of them would like to skip it. Um, as a silent protest, I don't know. Right. On one hand, I guess I could see on some level what's the point of showing up to be berated. Well, yeah. Um, and, and, um, on the other, uh, I'd say being there is a sign of unity and force, maybe, on the Democrats side, which is you're not going to alienate us. You're not going to force us out of our own chamber. Um, I guess we'll see what happens. Uh, yeah, I'm sure it'll move the needle for the Democrats in one way or another. Sure. As it always does. Yes, it always does. If there's one thing it's good at doing, it's holding the line. Oh, God. All right. Let's see. What else? Is there anything else on your mind that you think's coming up this week? State of the Union tariffs. We missed Prince Andrew getting arrested. Oh, he did. On his birthday, no less. On his birthday. Matt, what's the worst thing that ever happened to you on your birthday? Have you ever been arrested on your birthday? You know what I, I have not been arrested on my birthday. That doesn't mean I haven't been arrested. Um, and had unflattering pictures of me. Is that true? No, I haven't been arrested. Oh, God, damn, I thought I was getting an exclusive right now, right here. You know what, I have to say I wish I was interesting enough to be arrested frankly. It's kind of, I'm kind of sad of you. Yeah. Yeah, I'm going to be arrested. You know me both. I haven't taken advantage. Nerves. Right? We haven't lived. I know. That's a birthday he will not forget. No, that's true. Also, I like it. I do like the idea of like, I don't like to make a big deal on my birthday. I don't like big deal. I don't know. Oh, guys, really, please. Just don't make a big deal on a birthday. Send a card. Don't arrest me on my birthday. Please, then everybody will know it's my birthday. If you guys, if you guys ever were arrested, would you want like a really fun arrest photo like that? Or do you want your to throw a look in your mug shot or do you want it to be boring and just disappear? Well, I mean, for me, I, I, Dezi is more public facing. So there'd be more pressure on her. Yeah, I want to make sure the lighting is right. I don't care what the circumstances are. Just throw some good lighting my way. It's worth it, then. Yeah, I think. New head shot. Yeah, I will say if I stepped in to take that photo and there was some overhead lighting, I, I'd insist. I'd insist that we move to where I could throw a little flash on. You'd get, you'd have a, you'd pull out like a little ring light. I pull out my, yeah, I pull out my ring light slap it right on there. I never leave home without a ring light. Especially when I'm doing illegal activity. That is true. Your purse, your bag spilled out one time. It was a ring light. And some myths. That was it. That's it. In your bag. That's all I carry. That's an exclusive-- No identification. No cash. That's exclusive. He's just minced in a ring light. [LAUGHS] It's how I roll. It's how I roll. [MUSIC PLAYING] Time for something we call Daily Show and Tell. This Daily Show and Tell segment is brought to you by Ninja Lux Cafe, the three-in-one machine that makes his espresso, drip coffee, and cold brew. Matt, why are you talking like that? I just was something that I wanted to share with the audience. This is really passionate about your-- This is really passionate about your-- You're passionate about your ninja skills? Your ninja-- Chuching. I got that ninja money. Do we have sponsors now? I guess we do. I cannot believe it was on the sheet, but here we are. Unbelievable. I never thought we'd see the day. And if there's anything that people will listen to, it's my opinion on three-in-one coffee machines. You know what? You do-- I would go to you to ask your opinion on a coffee machine. You seem like you have very specific taste when it comes to your coffee. I'm an informed appliance consumer. I buy it, actually. I wear that on my sleeve. So in Daily Show and Tell, I just ask you, what's something that you've watched red or listened to recently? Something that's been on your mind, anything that you'd like to share? Well, OK. I got something. This isn't something that I've watched red or really listened to. So I'm going outside the box here. Fair. But I had an interesting interaction with a friend, and I want to get your take on this. So a friend of mine-- I don't know if you've been in this situation where you have friends that you don't get to see as often as you like. And you desperately want to catch up, but you live in two different cities. And you keep going like, oh, I'm going to-- I've got to give them a call. I've got to give them a call to catch up. But you know that you need like an hour to talk, and so you kind of like put it off, put it off, put it off. So a friend of mine reached out to me, hadn't seen her in a while. We were due for a catch up. And we were having a hard time getting together. And so she asked me to schedule a time on the calendar like it's a Zoom meeting to meet up. And we penciled in, we penciled in a meetup over Zoom, just like you would a work meeting. And at first I was kind of offended. I was like, is that what friends do? This isn't a formality. This isn't something we have to be forced to do. But I will tell you, I was so glad that we did it. We hopped on that Zoom. We had a great catch up. I would have probably gone another four months without catching up with her. It was one of the greatest-- I think she's on to something. Interesting. Have you ever done that? I would love to say that I have busy friends. You don't have friends. Friends number one, number two, friends with busy schedules that would ever suggest scheduling. You know, I don't know. My catch ups with friends I'll admit are like five minutes. Great to talk to you, buddy. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And so I don't think we'd ever get into the formality of scheduling a Zoom. Yeah. Guys don't do that. It's interesting. It feels personal, yet impersonal all at once. I know. I have. I have. I had so many conflicted feelings about it because I thought we shouldn't come to this. Like, it should be easier to just go meet up in the park or grab coffee or have a proper catch up. But it would have gone longer. And so I really-- I appreciated it. I don't know. I've also heard a thing about-- I read an article one time about a woman who was pushing for the eight-minute phone call. So on to your five-minute catch up with your buddies, they say eight minutes. I'm just calling for my eight-minute catch up. So you said it-- you can go over, but all you have to commit to is eight minutes. And then it gets you connected. That's fair. OK. I think that's fair, especially where constantly distracted. So that gives you a goal to meet. I think what I would do instead of scheduling a Zoom is I would call them and say, hey, do you want a FaceTime? Oh, yeah, that's nice. And then so it's a little less-- it doesn't pop up in your calendar. Right. So it doesn't feel like a must. Like a must-do. Did you do any of those silly reactions that you can have in Zoom? Like hearts floating up the screen or thumbs up? Thumbs up. Just the ears. Just the whole-- I did the plastic surgery face. Oh, no. I did that the whole time. She just thought I looked refreshed. Wow, it's really been a long time since we've seen each other. During the pandemic, I did a group Zoom with some old college friends. And I'll admit, I was glad that we did it. Yeah. And I don't know why it takes a disease sweeping the globe for us to sit down. Nope. Shouldn't do that. And finally, catch up. But unfortunately, we haven't done it again since. Wow. So, but I'm hoping next pandemic-- Here's open. Next pandemic that we all get together again to catch up. And we do night. Do what we got to do. What's your daily show? What's my show and tell? So my daughter, she's eight years old, has been getting into stop-motion animation on her little-- there's apps for it. You just downloaded an app on an iPad. And it's pretty easy to put together like a little stop-motion film. And she showed me one the other day. It was two smaller ducks, two little plastic ducks, and a big plastic duck. That was their mother. And they were having a little adventure, following her around, doing activities. And then she cuts to a little piece of paper that's written the next day. And the two little ducks are wandering around without their mother lost. And then they wander over to one side of the carpet. And there's a tombstone that says RIP. And she put little tears coming out of the duck's eyes. So their mother had died. Oh, god. Oh, my goodness, yes. And so I said to my daughter, I said, I really-- I liked your film. It was a little sad, right? And she looked at me and she just went, circle a life, man. You're doing something right, Matt. You're doing something right. I have a nihilistic eight-year-old. All I thought of was, oh no, her port therapist. Oh, that's so funny. So I guess-- Circle a life, man. That's evolved. That's a-- It's pretty evolved. I do agree. I don't know where it comes from exactly. She says, very sweet, playful, imaginative little girl. What did your wife say about it? She laughed. My wife is an artist and draws kind of dark. Has always drawn sort of dark sketches and paintings for whatever reason. OK. It's the same thing, sort of this all-American face with this very dark sensibility. So I think that's where it comes from. Girls, after my own heart, you're doing everything right. That is amazing. Well, I guess we'll have to invite her to the White House. We're going to have to invite the women filmmakers. So anyway, that was a new discovery of my daughter's sensibility. And I just-- I feel like she's going to watch Sophie's choice eventually. And be like, no. Circle a life. Great ending. Great, happy ending. Real pick me up. Greatest comedy of all time. It ended how I hoped it would. So anyway, that's-- I think bring her on to this staff. I believe this user sensibility. This snow day will yield another stop motion movie. I bet it will. OK, so we-- Maybe this is a sequel. You'll have to follow up this will be two-part. To Death Ducks. That's amazing. So that's my show and tell. Of course, because you asked for it, and we're wondering, this daily show and tell segment was brought to you by Ninja Lux Cafe, the three-in-one machine that makes his espresso drip coffee and cold brew.
